"The bronx and i are pen. Pals you guys probably know him on twitter. He's got a podcast. Tommy has been my source to the diaz brothers for about eight or nine years and i know the diaz brothers getting them to answer the phone a little bit harder to do. Tommy always knows what's going on. I mean like two months in advance. Tommy knows what's going on. Tommy told me that. Nick was fighting. Lawler which i never came and told you guys because i didn't believe it. I don't believe it i. I didn't see where that match came from. And if it comes back it's not going to be with lawler and the point is he's right a lot of times i said. Tommy i gotta run with the story because this is a big one but i gotta drop it in your lap in case it doesn't happen like i get go ahead now. I'm bury my lead. And i will preface that. Of course things can change right. But hear me out tommy beliefs if nick beats lawler impressively. I don't fully know what that means. I don't know if that means he's gotta stop him more. It's not a close man. i don't totally know what impressively and i've heard other people say well. If you beat them impressed he could earn title. Fight with the dominant win here. Game get a win. Just won't do it see. This seems like a pretty big deal. It's got to be a dominant art. Here's what he maintains. If mick gets the jump on robbie he in the marine will call out kabaeva maga medoff hundred seventy pound super before you start to share your opinion on whether that is accurate or not. Let's just set it aside and imagine that he does it would be extremely out of character for nick diaz to call out anyone he has done it. It would not be unparalleled but it would be out of character. I know that nick at one point had called. George saint pierre. I don't know that. I can remember somebody else. He called out. I remember nick at one point. Had some kind of a beef. With k j nunes that he was more vocal and nixon doesn't really call guys out so if nick was to do that. What would that mean in. Nick is not a fool. He is not going to take a shot. Look thirsty get brushed away by khabib or anybody else. Which means if this information is true that neck who would have certainly vetted this behind the scenes believes he can get a response in the affirmative from could be she ever ask somebody out the kids the middle school. I went to. We call it going with will you. Will you go with me. And then you like boyfriend and girlfriend. Or i don't win with. This was the term at the middle school. I went to be four. You'd never ask the girl out though you'd send your buddy either to her or to her friends to find out what she would say if you asked her to go with you all right. That's largely how somebody that operates on the level is going to work. It's not going to get brushed away. He's not gonna have his moment in the sun which with his name with his ability to draw with everything that comes with a comeback. But you can get more done with one. If it's a comeback fight with one win and one shot at a microphone. You can get more done than anybody else could with three years of being unbeaten nick beats lawler. Nick will have that night. The attention of tomorrow's man. He will have the attention of kobe. Comington in one of those guys is going to be champion of the world and five weeks. So it's one of these things if he uses that shot to go after could be. I just don't think that next going to take a shot that he does not have a reasonable belief he could get. I will share with you if you're of the mind. This information may not be accurate. I in that same camp. I am but tommy's very good and all tommy's claiming is that certain people from knicks. Camp are saying this and that is one interesting moment because khabib who has been very clear in his intentions still as a human being has the right to reassess in reevaluate any opinion that he's formed when he's confronted with new information. That would be a new random opportunity to how some real fun and get some real mega attention. I mean think about how much would like to see. Could be versus nick as right now at one seventy so you throw a caveat on which is got that makes things interesting measure right now though you do for that right now correct okay. What if nick winds nick. It's a win over one hundred. Seventy pound champion of the world will be in the hall of fame someday. Robbie lawler whatever. You're thinking for your anticipation for nick. Ds fight it's going to go up several fold. It's very interesting. It's very very interesting. I don't predict for you think would happen. Even if this was nick's diabolical plan in the moment. i just don't think he's going to do it. It's gonna pay a compliment to his brother to his team. Make the crowd erupt. Maybe throw a couple of middle fingers out and the knicks going to be called out instantly people who'd be going on social media hoping to catch the media's attention before they go to the press conference of the media can say vincent lucas says kamara. Ooh says kobe covington just tweeted and then gets called out and then nick does what it does which is look extremely uninterested..

You think it's gotta be still more russia right so then there's not much information on this but these guys are facing off to fight each other and they just kind of hit a whole straight brawl during the face off kick them. They're doing actual pushed him. I think he brushed kicked. So he's ready to fight enough each on the face. Now this is ufc get canceled. Been russia the good work fellers indeed. This was an interesting quote. I heard darren talk about on eros show. We'll take fifty five losses of it means achieving greatness that this is what he's fine quote i will take twenty laws. "Processes and close your books in no time. Stay tuned after the show to find out about their special offer for our listeners either listeners. It's mike schneider here. And i brought molina welcome back to talking tech so you would think with the country opening up somewhat the spring that people might stream. Fewer movies and tv shows exactly bread. But that's not what happened. A new report finds that worldwide streaming time grew thirteen percent in april to june twenty twenty one time period compared to a year ago and of course a year ago. That's when we all knew we were shut down pretty much In the spring now these findings come from kabaeva. And they're a foster city california research firm that tracks more than five hundred million unique viewers and one hundred and eighty billion streams annually on more than three point three billion apps. And i've i've written many stories from can be and the findings they have the real. They're reputable Now when we look at that thirty percent growth across the world it wasn't spread around equally because each country and region is at. Its own different timeline. In the adoption of streaming it's like north america streaming only grew two percent during the three month period while the places that saw the most growth were south america at one hundred seventy nine percent and africa at seventy nine percent now since mid march twenty twenty convenience recorded streaming video surges of double digit growth. I including Sixty three percent grow global growth in the second quarter of twenty twenty so this has been going on and they kinda thought that this growth would you know kind of go down as people got to go out and do things out in the world again but since there was growth in the during the spring they said on those temporary spikes have turned out to be not so temporary and these are quotes from the report quote the pandemic has spurred a tipping point in streaming that shows no signs of reversal. Now i guess that kind of makes sense because at least in my own case my life. I haven't wholeheartedly abandoned my stay at home lifestyle. I've been to a couple of baseball games and going to concert this week. I'm always still stream a lot of stuff like the summer of sold documentary on hulu. H bill max. Movies like the suicide squad and no said moves. And of course. The latest ted blasio episodes on apple. tv plus What about you. What are you seeing. What are you guys doing your home. Yeah i mean it's kind of similar you know we're mostly Kind of maintaining. That stayed home lifestyle doing still a lot of streaming disney plus is a massive hitting our house. We watch it practically all the time. but watching other stuff too. I've been watching shits creek. I kind of watched it a little bit. The first time around them they give it a second look And yeah you know just kind of catching up with anything that new the pops up but yeah like you said. I'm you know. I'm finding myself our families finding ourselves going out a little more than normal but still. I doesn't seem like a streaming is slow down that much. Yeah it'll be interesting you know as we've seen the situation in the last few weeks with This delta variant and increase transmission rates across the country whether they'll be growth. You know over the summer. To and i'm sure all right about that Some more findings from can be And how were wa- streaming things A big screen. Tv is the display of choice in every region except asia where smartphones and mobile devices are used for forty two percent of all viewing with big screens getting sixteen percent of the viewing elsewhere. Big screens accounted for fifty percent or more viewing with north. American streamers using big screens eighty two percent of time in north america. Us and canada. Pretty much Tablets mobile phones desktops collectively are used for eighteen percent of viewing When we watch something the average time spent twenty seven point. Six minutes On a big tv or on connected tv which took too big tv To use something like a roku amazon or an apple. Tv connected to that or a chrome cast. But when you're watching the mobile phone you're watching about nine point one minutes which makes sense because a lot of mobile phone viewing is probably on the go or just passing time in between something else when you watch When you stream something with a smart tv or on a game console you usually watch about twenty six point three minutes. On average on the most popular streaming devices connected to tv's or remain roku which had three one percent users followed by amazon fire tv at eighteen percent samsung tv twelve percent playstation and lg tv six six percent each xbox ltv android tv and chrome cast five percent. Each for some reason fewer folks who are watching on playstations xboxes so that the amount of of streaming on those went down a little bit. Maybe that's 'cause they're playing games. There's no specific reason why You know but you would think with streaming going up everywhere. There's probably they're probably still using the game system. Maybe they're just doing something else. Yeah definitely not surprising a listeners. Let's hear from you. How have your streaming habits changed if at all since we've opened up a little bit. Gimmie comments questions show ideas. "Keeps that whole crew together. Tight like a team but could be can be in. Dagestan does his training at aka in california with coach. Javier henry can never have been stan. Or two ak but henry and could be. We'll look at each other as teammates. There's all es someway of keeping this whole group tight and together so could be was weighing in on henry talking about henry coming back and could be was talking about. There's no meaningful opponent now. Kabaeva talk about motivation and could be for that thought by saying somebody needs to grab. That belt defended a couple of times. Have something that they bring to the table for henry to come take from them. It's always in. I don't know that could be right. But that's what i'm here to talk about. I know that could be projecting. It's no different than what. I come and tell you guys what somebody should do or what i predict. They're going to do. I'm really telling you what i would do in that situation and we do know from could be. The money doesn't matter. Khabib is looking for a reason to be there purely competitively speaking. I don't know that anyone else is quite like could be very unique. And i don't interpret. That henry is like that but hold on because could be went further. Khabib said after the fight. Henry told dana. Now he's talking about the post fight press conference and i happen to remember this. He said henry told dana. You've got my number. The problem is dana. Didn't have an opponent hold the thought. I remember that you see to forty six. I remember that clearly. Henry dig out of the press conference after retired and he did say dana knows my number. I thought he was talking dollars. I thought that was the number. He meant i still believe that. I'm right but kabeba suggesting that. Henry said dana has my number. Dana knows my number. He can call me. We're having a totally different conversation. And i think i'm right. I could be the one that's misinterpreting but if that's what henry. Meh dana knows my number means. Dana can call me whenever he's got the right opportunity. He's just looking for an opponent that changes everything. We're not having a very different discussion. I believe that henry was looking for a dollar amount. I don't think henry care to the opponent. Was i still. Don't think henrik here's what the opponent was. If the money's there. I think is days of being hungry competitor over. I think that they ended at the olympic games. I can't prove any of the things. I just said to be true. That's what i thought could now got me thinking. Well i guess there's another option. Maybe dana knows my number means. Dana can call me when he has the right opponent maybe or maybe could be projecting his own views on it and could be with us on something that if the right guy gets built up in the ufc at one hundred and fifty five pounds and has the right things to offer. I'll come in. And take it. From if it motivates me enough perhaps. I don't know what to make of this. I do know when people speak other people that are largely projecting themselves. You guys know that to be true so could be on something but to keep this purely huda focused. I think that's interesting. Dana knows my number mean. Dana can call me but now we need the right opponent. I thought that when henry stepped away largely it was about legacy. He made a whole bunch of money. He's won multiple world championships. He set records. That are not likely to be beaten. I think for the best case you could hope for a tie. somebody else becomes a champ champ. That's all that we've ever seen before to become a champ champ champ which i think henry did because the olympics was at a different way class. Many people forget that olympics was at one way. Then you've got the featherweight then you've got the bantamweight. He swept them all. I think he's triple champ. I think that's true but could be think something else khabib. Thanks for the right pummit with the right bragging rights i mean what do you get if you've already if you're not after the money and you've already got the accomplishment. What do you get. I don't know. I don't know i was never the champion. I don't know for me. It was always the championship. But if you already have that this is what could be speaking to. this is. what's so unique about it. You have a champion time the cheap and very rare tonight you have a whole different mindset. There's different mindsets out there with people. I will tell you. I'm not a rich guy. One time never forget. I've only met three billionaires in my life. This was one of the billionaires. He told me he said rich. People try to buy things that money can't what do you mean. What does that mean he was. What if you ever do a business deal with rich guy. you'll never get a contract. Why would seem like the richer the better the businessman the more organized that he would be rich mental. Never do a contract with you at all be verbal so that when the deals done and he pays you. He's now buying something. Which is that you trust him that he is a man of his word. He's going to write a check. Not just for what was done but to show you that he can be trustees buying something that money. Can't i only bring that to you guys. Because i'm not a billionaire. I can't relate. I don't meet a whole lot of them. But now we have a champion talk about another champion potentially is a different mindset than we would think of and one champion could be says for another champion henry to come back. He needs motivation. The motivation is in the form of money is the form of the right opponent. I'm asking you is khabib right..

"So better striker. I've talked josh thompson. You're trained with both better striker better. Submissions and then. I'll see his wrestling's better than anybody in the in the fucking division. He's he's not kabir's level wrestling but who is but he's may if kabaeva ten he's a nine and a half but but everything else is every bit as good in in in wrestling and takedown could be but he's up there i. Submissions are better you. We should probably just send the championship belt. That's what i say but becca jeff. I don't know who the fuck you can get used to him saying that name. At least it's not as hard as beeps name but yeah you seen jeff but with mark jeff too. It's like you know he's twenty and one who beat him. I forget but he's twenty and one That that that was his first main event looked a little nervous. Don't perform like you should especially the first round. Look really nervous. But that's all you can get better but again with ufc. Toss them fucking chandler something right now. He's not ready for that amoxicillin. Because mac championship teach new. He just needs to get used to that pressure. It's just do when your main of that. Five rounds different. Anti-hiv do all the press you deal with real savages like taylor's been fought for the tidal. That's true so but you give them an. Rda what he asked for given rda on a on a pay-per-view give them are d- do what he wants. He's a fucking nightmare again. Those guys don't let there's enough hours in the data up to catch up. You can tell that interesting right. Connor if conrad and broken his leg and this is a big. If but i was really looking forward to what happened. I believe that what you would have seen is. You've seen dustin have connor on his back through the whole fight. I think you would split up over and over again to your to your point. That was his original game. Plan going the i was. I'm sorry the second fight when he beat him in january. The plan was for take downs but then we still inlet gift. He's like he's like checking these so keep doing these like just do but their entire game game playing where i'm out and then stand up with third fourth and fifth connors. Only the first if you were if you were. Tj dillashaw coach. Would you tell him to do the same thing. You can't rush in because corey's needs at those crazy knees but yes we're going to another thing you'll corey's advance this why i wouldn't bet on the fight corey's advances in the clinch to. He's very good in the clinch because of christian on his knees and elbows in the clinch. She's a problem and he's the bigger guy so the lynch but also to that point. If you're again the clinch now you're close now. Tj can get his hands on you but is tj is a folk wrestler. Tj's freestyle wrestler. Okay but but there's but freestyle isn't as as upper body. Clench throw heavy. You don't think they know that style as you'll think correct gino's knows you may know that but i don't think that's where his pedigree came from. It was more doubles than singles. Arm drags that stuff. But i'll tell you this against koi sanding who has no background in wrestling. He's going to look like a greco world champion. Those guys don't greco stuff but he but he just needs to get under hook heavy on the you know he can get to the legs. You just take it back. It's such a good fight..

"But kristen we're gonna use this to start talking about islam. Michael chandler general if you're the afc which fight or do you try to give islam mahajan after his domination or java says last weekend and i know he has a few names. In mind there is fi obviously. I don't really think too much about that. One just because it majority of it was like on twitter. They're just bickering back and forth but the more that they do it the more. I'm interested in it. So i wouldn't mind seeing that happen Let's see he also called tony. Ferguson al i guess to kind of conclude the storyline between him and kabaeva montana met office obviously neuron medoff is his mentor and coach and i guess he wants to be guy to take out the boogeyman so to speak. That was supposed to be the one in two thousand nine and one. I guess against could be a lot of people still thought about that there's also the rafael dasani. That got canceled like three times. They should read book. I'm not mad at that fight. And i think it will settle a lot of the beef. They have between one another because it seems like rafael. Designers is not super impressed by islam. I thought he looked good on saturday against tiago moist says so both that fight has storyline behind it. You get to settle some beef that you guys have and then we can really see where islam is is. I think he's ranked him five. Now as the comment pointed out. And i know a lot of people were like shocked about that but i think he put on a good performance. I think he's worthy of a top ten contender at this point so those three names are pretty good. I would also have no problem if islam. Fob and you'll dare uche. I know they both managed by the same manager. Ali depends on because dare us wife just had their first child so if he's taken daddy time that's a different story. I know our colleague. Sean who just spoke of our with this heartbroken but he had he he puts the other like a mock lightweight card. Like if they did it. Just a lightweight car like they did one forty six. I think what's the car. All heavyweight card charles oliveira port the top just engaging. Michael chandler coleman dare us mahachi ferguson hooker. Rda gillespie and all said he would have no problem. If you did gates you dare using jailer. Mahachi if i don't have a problem with any of those fights because one five rules i think greg espy and brad rebel have also kind of been interested in rebuilding their fight against one another. I think brad rebels a fantastic fighter too but hooker. Rda sound fun ferguson. Like all these fights fund. I don't care just have them fight. I don't care who they bite so on on the real rankings enemy fighting's rankings. We have is ranked at number seven so that we made those rankings before his anything. I'm can't rankings. I think anything would have changed. I mean maybe he might bump up in front of fergus. Because we have ferguson. Right in front of him. I think yeah i think. Just the dominance of that that victory even with no lower ranked opponent our see. I could see my going. One spot but Yeah i as long as islam fights name. i'm happy and that's all that's what he needs needs by names and you hugger. Even the dan hooked up to. La's dan dan wants it. Whatever the name Rda's makes more sense about the dare use fight is if i really wanna see but i. That's the doubtful because of the management issues and chan chandler. What's gone just engage. He was going to kind radio. Sign it right. what's going on. I don't know if you watch interview with our good friend. Oscar for the mac life. He did an interview with dana white and he asked him straight up. Are you ready to announce chandler. And dan was like i want to. There's just a few things we gotta get through. I so it seems like that's the direction they're going what those things are things. Is it just me. Or i know. I wanna better hotel room. Like what are these things you know. I can tell you. Exactly what the thing he was referring to. It was a big fight between conor mcgregor and doesn't poor. He wanted to get past. I because speaking with cpi dana white like when he on these big. Pave you cards. There's a lotta fights that wanna get made that he just has to get through the pay per view fight week. I see the results of that before where he just can't focus on anything else. Which sides that fight week. Come on multitask. All right do is everybody at the sea and connor in denial. That doesn't want the trilogy. I knew dustin. Who's gonna win. Win was five months after usc. Fifty seven Yes we'll talk about connors recent posts about his ankle. He posted a bunch of photos about his ankle wrapped up. He said that he said he has chronic arthritis in his ankles which led which is like. I don't think he didn't say like this was the reason. But it kinda hinted at connor has his history of bad ankles and that's why his ankle broke but kristen. What do you make of all this new talk of connors fragile ankles and break is this. The new frontline mayweather has fragile hands conversation. I'm honestly surprised that we're still talking about it like weeks later. It's kind of a bummer. Because i'm wondering how effective all of this talk is on the perception of the fight itself especially when it comes to like a certain demographic where they fully believed that you know had he not been injured maybe he would have turned things around in the second round. I don't know but it's hot that all the stuff starts to come out. I'm not gonna lie was kind of interested when it first started to unravel and connor is like while the ufc. That i was injured. The doctor knew and let me start posting x-rays and whatnot. I'm like well. It's certainly interesting. I don't know if it adds anything to the narrative that you lost the fight so it's just been pretty weird that there's a lot of a lot of excuses coming out and i'm just genuinely shocked that we're talking about this and not really dustin pori got another win over arguably the biggest star of the usc has ever had. I think does a disservice to someone who is probably the best lightweight that the ufc has right now. Not counting charles oliveira and could be monumental. But he's gone. He's retired so. I don't know why we're doing this still. It's just very odd to me. why we're doing. It is because connor makes see a lot of lot of lot of la la the money. That's beat him. That's all if you didn't make him that much money they'd be like oh he lost moving on. I mean like. We didn't spend this much time. Talking about chris widener anderson silva when they broke their legs. Like it just happens shit like that happens in these fights. It's not. It's not a surprising thing but it's just like why is one person getting so much. Like benefited the dow as opposed to these other guys that legitimately snap their legs just in in a similar fashion but there wasn't a big Like stink about it money. Money money money money money. He also broke his to be or not as ankle. Anything like it was his leg that broke his ankle. As i guess like so like picking leg that broke in all the ankle imaging. He kept showing his ankle. He broke his leg. Tibia throwing reckless naked. Gigs at people's knees elbows good. So he broke his. It was a double fibula break. Nothing nothing in the ankle broke. So we're this weird He broke his leg not the articulating joint. As i said on twitter. I i apologize. I don't remember who said it and the difference may wear the broken hands thing. "kabaeva" Discussed on You're Welcome! With Chael Sonnen

"From the neighborhood mission. Any and they're going around and they're selling the got. These jars of marshmallow fluff now. I must tell you. I don't eat a lot of marshmallows. And i've got nothing against them but for me and my involvement in march was twofold one in cocoa as a little kid in cocoa. My sister and i loved them particularly when they were the small marshmallows Right but my parents only bought the big ones. We would use those. We put a coat hanger through it with burning fireplace on lucky occasion. My sister and i would get to roast marshmallows. They didn't taste great but it was great experience and a great memory. None of that is the point. These girls show up with marshmallow fluff. Now here is what bothered me all right. They've got a box of them. They've got them in a little red wagon. they're pulling them through the neighborhood. Where i live is halfway through the neighborhood. I have no reasonable belief that they started at my door. It would seem as though you would start at the bottom and the virtually get to me or you would start at the top eventually. Get to me but these girls still had a full wagon. does that mean the. My neighbors weren't buying the marshmallow fluff because that would irritate me beyond belief. Okay if to young entrepreneurs show up at your door. Both i'm gonna guess under high school age somewhere in that sixth ninth grade range. They've started a business and they have this beautiful homemade product. Then they only want a couple of dollars for. We're some of my neighbors telling them no. Does it matter what they're selling at that. What do you do any michel. Knock at your door and they would like to sell you something. But by the way they made from home own. Should i add there in your community. What do you do if you have any answer other than you say. Excuse me hold on ladies. Let me go grab my wallet. You and i just aren't the same kind of people right. There's something about a level of rejection that if you do to somebody else in this situation i'm going to have a little bit of a problem with and i part lay this into islam. Markle chip is he being punished because could be didn't come back and fight. I'm asking the question. Something's going on there. Khabib is giving the blessing to islam. Who by the way is undefeated. If i'm wrong about that. Islam picked up a law somewhere. Learn his somewhere in the back of my head. he's like sixteen and one. But if i'm wrong sixteen or no either way. It's beautiful record. And he has a blessing of the guy. The man the biggest star muslim athlete in the world who they've built in arena for summer is packed. Could you imagine being so successful that anybody anywhere builds you already remember. What i'm talking about could be versus. Poor was done in arena. That they built four could be versus korea. This guy is why yearly popular. Why is he not powerful. What is it about it. Where when the guy gives a blessing to another guy and by the way i bring in islam's record it's relevant. He was just some new up and comers he was on the regional senior. He just came through the contender. Series kirk contestant on tough. Hey keep your eye on him. Type thing i got. No problem with islam has been here for a period of time. Oh and by the way hasn't gotten beat by a period of time. Why is the blessing from khabib. Not more powerful. I don't have an answer to that. Is doing his part kabaeva showing loyalty khabib came out with a statement and said about islam that he would stop and he would mall olivera. Those are tremendous compliments. He's not just saying he thinks his guy will win. He's talking about in dominant fashion. Now is good is that is i. Must tell you know beavis. Being punished amassing a rhetorical question. I really know the answer. To of course be respected and of course could be has level of power could be coming about this slightly at the wrong angle. He's talking about how good islam is. That's helpful if a guy is undiscovered. Islam is now discovered but i'm not sure could be himself knows how could himself got to the top of the billionaire. Ever got a title fight. Or whatever standing opposite conor mcgregor. It wasn't just by wins and losses. No matter how many times your bosses come out and tell you it is. It's not they're not going to come out and tell you what it really is. They're going to expect you to figure out on your own are you. Interesting and islam is not over yet is interesting. I don't know what it is. Hobby is under the foggiest idea. I don't know what his favorite food is. I don't know what his favorite movie is. I don't know who's favorite comedian is. I don't know what kind of music he listens to. I don't know what his favorite color is. I don't know if he's married. I don't know if he's single. I don't know if he has pets. I don't know what he used to do before fighting editor of his father's involved. I don't know a damn thing about him and that's not my fault. I read everything on islam chip. I can get. I can't get any of that stuff. Every time i hear something about islam. I have to hear about how damn good yes. Let's just do this tom. I accept that you're good. You've a beautiful record where you either have one loss or have absolutely no losses in your in the division that i personally believe to be the hardest vision in all of them. Ma in the history of emma. Let's concede right now your really good. I don't need to just watch good guys. I don't i there's good guys on before you and after you and this week next week last week. They're all really good in fairness. Why are you interested in. Why do i care if you charles oliveira charles. All air wins money in the sport and takes it back to the villas in brazil of which he never left. He wears readers his look all the time. But i can tell you all of those things about charles olivera. I cannot tell them. I don't know where he lives. I don't know who he trains with. That's part of a team. But the hobby. Your mendez was trained in that team. Part of the time could be dad was was part of the time they were splitting time between california and split between dagestan. I'm just sharing. I don't know any of these things. i know. "Charles oliver's excellent fighter charles. Oliver is not going to be the champion the two years not if he stays consistent gets three a year and he's not winning six in a row. That isn't a knock on charles. it's a compliment to that division. In the fact that could be was in that division with these same guys never lost a fight. didn't even lose rounds was dominated. Ten eight rounds where it was hard to watch. I can't tell you how many fights. I breath helped the guy out. Get him outta. There is one of these things. I'm just bring it to your attention because the debate starts to be a pretty interesting and could be does have one thing against him. It's only one it's only one but it still against him and it's going to grow over time now that we're still in the air and we've all seen him fight. We all miss them and want. Wanna see him fight again. Even though we're not gonna overtime we're gonna forget that we're gonna forget how we feel right now. We're gonna see new talent in there so we're now left with paper and this even happens now the jordan versus the you talking about jordan six rings and the bronze had at one point. But this was the argument you could see it. Many people people's lebrons better. Don't give it to him if he has the rings or not he's gonna get them and he's better now just a debate but a hard one to win when you got six two. Oh i'm going back. A while could be never changed weight classes. And if you're within and if this is twenty years ago and nobody was changing classes and they weren't even allowed this doesn't come up when it fair game when you live in an era of champ champ and you've got the so who does or you've got the daniels or you've got this saint pierre that did it and did it successfully. It just creates a wrinkle and while kabaeva could've changed ways whether it was seventy or it was forty five. He would have been leaving the harder of the weights. He would have gone to seventy or forty five as great as those guys are. Depth was not the same it where he stayed and ruled. I think that could be the greatest of all time. I think that he might be. I just think he's going to have a hard time. Winning the argument. I stayed on saint-pierre. That's my answer. But i got a good reason for it. Not only did he clean out his division and beat all the guys yesterday and beat all the guys of his day he beat the future generations then. He came back and did it again at a different weight class without losing around hard argument. Hard argument. saint-pierre did not have ten eight rounds. He didn't have as many of his could beat but he beat those guys within the rules. He didn't lose rounds either. He didn't lose positions he would come out and fight go to a nightclub and he'd have to tell somebody they had a fight that nobody would believe him. He may look perfect. He took no damage. Kabaeva gave a lot of damage. George took no damage. You an offensive guy. You defensive guy. Right i mean. Did you like sugar. Ray offense or do you appreciate the shoulder. Rosa floyd mayweather. There's no wrong answer. The debate continues. I only submit for you. It's not between kabaeva. john. And i'm not quite sure how we got. There could be the spoke about khanna mcgregor's future and he's waiting on the goat debate he's also talked about the headliner of saturday's event. But before i dive into that. I wanna tell you a little story so i get a knock at my door to gals.

"What's getting back putting them in there again are we. Since khabib is now officially retired. Everyone wants to ask him where he stands on the goat conversation and where he believes he is in the history books and this week could be weighed in on the debate. Could be doing an interview. And he made his case for why he is the pound for pound grade and there was a comparison to john jones. And of course could be making the point of. I did all of this. I never got beat dope. Okay stating the obvious. There's nothing wrong with that. I wouldn't even call that a a low blow. Khabib is the most dominant. I can prove that. That's not my opinion. I can prove to you that could be the most dominant. I think that is a wonderful compliment to give a guy you were. You were the best fighter all time hard to prove big compliment. Hard to prove dominant. Says it's hard. There is nobody in fighting his. This never get set about could even less. I'm the one saying it. And i don't know why either people don't realize this or possibly they don't see that this is a really big deal and i'm all alone by myself but i find that i'm the only one guys could be more ten eight rounds in his career than anybody in the history of unarmed combat. I'm including boxing. What an incredible statement. Then okay who's the greatest of all time. Different eras represent different things. And it's very rare that you'll have an argument going on about guys who are in the same air. It happens it happens. I'm saying it's very rare. It's to be lebron and jordan. You'll take these different areas and then you're never gonna able to win the argument because you're going to have people within stahl jovana just locked on their era no problem this is just some of the psychology behind it to be the most dominant fireball time and look what could be has going one hundred fifty five pounds at the time he did. It was the hardest wake class the absolute deepest weight class in the industry. It was also the deepest and most difficult class in the history of the industry. So if you're champion of that weight class aren't you just automatically the greatest of all time if you then add in the factor that nobody even one around against him before any of you think you have to correct me yes. I'm well aware that conor mcgregor one round three i got that was official but nobody else could win. Rounds and then in addition to the ten round the absolute dominance. Now you guys not only can't wanna fight. They can't win round. they're not winning positions. They're not winning a sequence with kabaeva. Doesn't that which none of which i just said could be. Disputed is being disputed. Does that by default. Make the best of all time. No no the arguments still exist. You don't get for any goddamn reason. That's why it's so ridiculous to engage in these arguments is the different enters. As to why batman superman and it will never go away but no everything that i just said in every box. That could be checked no now. It isn't between could even john. That's also an interesting part of the argument. That always makes me wonder. How did we get here. How did he get down to begins. John in john was is a once in a lifetime. not just what. John is a once in a lifetime. Talent it is remarkable. How dynamic he was. It was remarkable his ability to grow. I'm not convinced that john's most dangerous aspect isn't his kickboxing. This is a national champion wrestler. By the way who's never lost a submission match by the way. I'm not convinced. He's not even better on his feet. Possibly give compliments to what. John is gone out there and done. He went out there and he did it dirty. So what do you do in that regard. Do you attempt to have the conversation removed veil that. Yes he did it dirty but he wouldn't have had to have even if he were clean. It would have been enough that arguments not gonna hold up. Even if it's true you would look like a full defending someone you would just look like a fool and since the whole thing is nothing more than an argument. There's no competitive architecture. There's no way to actually prove it. It's a popular opinion. Vote and some once we understand. That's my only point by bringing in john and the peds my only point is if we acknowledge. It's an argument and no one's going to be able to argue or even attempt to argue around the cheating. It doesn't hold up. So how did we get to compete versus john in the first place. That one's a little bit we are. Why is dimitrius not put right into this conversation..

"Still effective. That's honest go. Fly the air no threes up. He's not gonna be acrobatic uber the first in the last in the history of the world. You compare yon sentenced. Frank sinatra. Give get my point break. Saddam earnestness cringe to. I don't know you report back to us skip. This is totally going back to the fight and the aftermath from saturday there are certainly no love. Lost between kabaeva and conor mcgregor guys. I want to catch up on the latest after mcgregor's emporia which we all watch could be upset when money and fame. Come these two things show who you are. And what does mcgregor done with him. No i don't believe he'll return to the top. Honor has good age thirty two but what happened with his mind legs. This guy is finished but he's good for promotion. Do you agree with the sentiment. City it basically and that's so true money doesn't money makes you more what you already are. If you jerk you become a bigger jerk. Yeah is that money just makes you more of what you already off. If you were not a good person and you get money you will become a worth person. Money and power corrupts people make more of what they already are if this what he is and for it takes a special type of person to have to invest sport to have that kind of resources in his bank account. You know what. I still have that same drive skin remember. He used to have to coach night by private everywhere goten. He used to have to stay in seedy motels if and when he could forward to gold vacation. Now as private jets and yachts nice five star hotels he's eating michelin meals. Does a whole different ballgame. Am i could be fair. His your mind because embiid sports. Your mind is everything i agree could be. I do not believe khanna will return to what he wants was because i do not see the evolution that it takes to remain a top fighter. All these fires that he folk was has embarked. Tell me the one thing that carter has gotten better at the octagon says twenty he fifteen one thing skilled and what it what. It could be a fight. Bill can do that scale. He's box office because he can convince you. The old ought to get you cargo. Knock-about carlos duarte do all that trash talking talking about the mayor. Why talked about what are you gonna do. We go put a hole in his head. He didn't care about the ring and people believing lean very convincing but three the last four or five. I've seen the man sitting on his book looking around like what happened. He got choked up and use the bath get pummeled again to remember that he was not standing on his feet when they stop this. He was sitting on his butt at the port. Gotten up from a board like ten tires in his face. Poor let him up so he could finish him off man to man to face feet two feet. I don't see him returning to what was good enough. I i mean if you're gonna put him in the top level fighters division. Nah i don't see how so first of all. Forgive me for this. but i'm gonna pronounce it hubby. We're supposed to but whatever it's okay. We americanized it to be played with a guy but they didn't have the k. In front of it with brad habib okay readily either one's fine but i'm gonna say how 'bout we're not offending he'll buffet either way either way. I have nothing but respect for this man because you can make a. He was the greatest ever and i assume he's retired. 'cause this is one guy when he says i've retired that you can take it to your bank again. Maybe money talks about retirement. But i don't think so he. He made a big case that when my father is gone and his father has gone that i don't find any right in. His mother does not want him. My mom ask to so all these words or gold to me. What he's saying in this is a deep thinking young man who who's making the case that you have made from jump which is money doesn't change you. it exposes. Yes okay. And he makes the case that what is he done. He punched an old guy and that was in a bar and twenty nine hundred. Because that's what he did. He punched the guy in the bar. I don't know how there's some suit pending somewhere about that. So i don't wanna be a hypocrite. Because i i bought into a lot of connor's provide high building up to the floyd event because it was mega it some of the most exciting times. I've we've had on this show. And i found connor very appealing. Because he was winning tra. I could accept all the prefight trash tadjiks because i just sort of it made me laugh instead of making me mad right and yet once he he made his whatever one hundred million that he made and i thought he was. Great against that's just me. Because i thought he stood toe to toe with him in exchange. He lasted ten rounds. And floyd is difficult. Because floyd floyd was still in shape and ready by took that fight very seriously okay. So now we get to habib he. He's saying that if the community is going to support this kind of person than this sport is going to go in a bad way. I think we just crossed the line especially on saturday night and i tweeted that immediately. I can't defend my connor anymore. Because obviously against pre habibie insulted his faith and his wife and his parents he went after everything go after and he nearly got killed. Because if there hadn't been a referee there stop it a. He didn't let him go. Obediently feels queasy. He would squeeze the life right out and then here we go again with poor. You and i had no idea that he had detonated such poor. Ya because i just sort of goes in one ear and out the other for the fight with the but he's insulting his wife and i didn't know if i would laugh at that but he didn't laugh at no. There was nothing funny about it to him so he was taking it out on conner so connor is defeating himself with prefight hype. Talk trash talk because he could no longer back it up ali. Listen what he did to. Joe frazier. manila fight. I thought it crossed. Maybe that's more your call than mine but it was racial insults joe frazier and it was so demeaning and so belittling did it made me cringe like mohammed. You're better than that right. Reach for that resort to that just fight right well. They fought man. They nearly killed each other deer and it went to the bitter end and ali rei throw in the towel and angelo. Dundee said no. I think he's not going to be able to come out. I think you've got to throw in the towel this through. So you've gotta stand up like you're in a walkout there and you're gonna win the vibe and he did and both of them went up in the hospital so my point is at least ali was still able to back it up. Connor not able to back it up. And then the most chilling point that habib made was that when you break a leg like that you're never going to be the same that you're kicking. He said i get it that his age is not bad yet he just turned lords today. Three thirty three. What is today to lose july eating thirty three tomorrow. Thirteen okay. So he's turns thirty three tomorrow wednesday and it's not too old but he just lost a whole..

"After he won the featherweight title from joe's although a few years back he moved up weight class. You know what i mean. And then he moved away class to take some fights welterweight but it's not Fairly it's pretty normal for some guys. You know me. Some people move away class or to Drops three weight classes. We had Some fighters like yankee pseudo kanki. Pseudo was a japanese anime fighter. a lot. He's really famous because we ran for politics in japan. But that guy was you jumped down like four or five classes To get as low. As what i think lightly or feather the way but he was. He was on lightweight. A welterweight on middle. Wait a heavyweight. And at one point. I think i heavyweight on. Dj penn had fought. He fought Leonardo machida some years back as a heavyweight and he was primarily known as a lightweight fighter but he fought over at pride because at the time they had no lights they were out of the lightweight. Game in the ufc. So bj penn said to hell with. I'm going to japan to look for fights and he really took a fight at nearly a heavyweight so fighting the auto machida who was a former. Ufc champion yeah crazy but I happened and joe diesel. Riggs is one guy that's known to to jump down weight classes. He jumped down five weight classes. He was a massive heavyweight and he dropped all the way down to lightweight any competed in each weight class. Same thing when they crazies crazy and way cuts are no joke but for guys like that to jump down many way classes. It's a real testament to Their willingness to compete. You know me and make those cuts and go out and be healthy and all and get there get themselves fit for those types of fights so georgia. I want to stop you there. Explain to the fan about way cuts if you could do that really quickly. Oh surf for people who don't know. Mma similar to boxing has way classes and in those way classes. You're required to meet a certain way to be able to compete. And then you can go on ahead and do whatever you gotta do in order to compete in those classes. You have to cut wait now Less make example kabaeva magomedov. Who was a the the the Ufc lightweight champion. Before charles. oliveira right. He had to cut way to one. Fifty five and his walk around weight was somewhere around one When i say one seventy five or like one eighty something one okay. Yes so he would have to cut about somewhere between twenty and probably thirty thirty five pounds so make the one fifty five pound limit. Now you don't have to be crazy to cut that type of way to make the one fifty five pound limit. You can fight at a highway class. But some of the people rather have the size and the way event so we'll go ahead and do their try. Their hardest goto the sauna and diet get the nutritionist and cut that way to one fifty five now when they go in for the way in the fight. Now you have to meet that one fifty five pound mark..

"We legitimately at a crossroads here for conor mcgregor at u. of c. To sixty four yours. This thing is getting weird. I gotta say. I just thought the press conference and connor is attempting to manufacture angry and mean carter. I mean he's going after dust his wife if you can believe that he's taken the lowest shots he candidate isn't just to build hyper or sell pay per views. He's trying to get himself in the frame of mind of old angry connor and to watch this thing on. Hold i gotta tell you. It's a little bit cringe-worthy. I felt the same way. I felt like as i was watching it on. Tv yesterday that it was manufactured it felt like he was overdoing it just to get the crowd going trying to kind of almost convince himself that he still that guy i tell you. There's a great moment. When dustin for eight took the microphone looked at connor. Except we said you know you used to be better at this But it's a real thing. I mean carter is trying to bring that all kinds of. We've all done it as athletes. We all try to put herself in the frame of mind that we think is our best approach that serves us best at the watch. Connor do it on one hand. I respect how he's gone into camp how we separate himself from the family. How he's really digging deep at work. Hard on one hand. I get it. The other side is that you're manufacturing it and it's not real. That's just not the way sports or life for that matter. It just doesn't work that way. Dustin is the favourite in this one. Why should he be the favorite. Well look doesn't have a hard time connor last time. They fight win about seven minutes but it was not seven competitive minutes. Connor was looking for a way out of that fight about three minutes. And i think you're gonna see connor plus about fifteen to twenty percent. I think the ring rust hurt him badly. I think just getting the reps and going out there getting reminded of what he needs to do. I think that's good for about fifteen twenty percent so if you're picking dust and you're you really gotta ask yourself not just dustin beat him last time can dustin beat him plus another twenty percent. It's meaningful. That was the worst car that we've ever seen. I all but guarantee you. We are going to see a better conner this time. That doesn't mean that the decision changes. But it's gonna be a different performance for sure jails son in with this year. Of course the son in show with me giordano. He's the star on the guy who helps carry as water carriers gloves when he needs some help put on his his tape on his on his fist. When he's ready to go and just punch away at you guys as you're watching on. Espn plus and of course the podcast. You're welcome espn ufc analysts. So what is kind of need to do differently jail in this. Go around against us. We'll promote physical standpoint. He had a big problem with those cap kicks. Now he can. He can fix that very quickly. he could turn his foot out just slightly. He could even switch to an orthodox stance. I think that he's going to do that. But from a mental side. He needs to understand. This is going to be a long hard night. That left hand. That is but a sniper form has put so many people down at that left hand connect with dust and pour it does is likely to be able to absorb it in keep biting generally when that happens in the past. That's frustrating conor mcgregor. Now because he knows it this time because he knows is gonna take some calories. We're going to be out here for some rounds. I think it's just going to have a different approach. I don't think he's going to bring the store that look around and hope that all the trees on i think he understands but have to gain favor with the judges. I'm going to have to win positional battles. i'm gonna have to stay off the bottom. I'm very confident that at least strategically connor is in the right place. So historically he's been a guy that gets business taken care of very quickly now you believe otherwise than my hearing that right. You think that this will have to be a strategic fight. We'll have to draw it out some. I think that's right. And the only thing i have is a reference point is the navy as rematch part to where he came out and he realized. I can't put this guy down. I can't put them away. I'm gonna have to be out here for a while. I think the same thing is happening to it with dustin dustin eight that left hand three times look going to beat you. Generally he's gonna finish you. Generally it's going to be in the first round and always it's going to be with that left hand once that secret is out and now it is. It's a little bit harder to find that left hand. I think that does is going to be ready for it. However there's other ways to fight. Conor does a very good job at the clinch counters. Getting real creative in the clinch using shoulder strikes. He broke cowboy. Sororities those from that position. Something we've never seen in this sport before. But yes he's not gonna just be on the outside. He's not gonna be just using western boxing. He's gonna have to mix it up. George whereas dustin improved your opinion as you've seen him grow over the last several years well does things in volume right. He doesn't try to knock you out. He tries to just top away. You eight generally has his best rounds about the third round about the fourth round and all of those shots start to accumulate and add up. I think the one thing that we really shouldn't dustin is an improvement with confidence. The first time he fought connor he did not feel he belonged in there. He's not feeling belong there with the biggest star or even in a feature fight now. He's used to that main event spot. He's used to being in the market. he's not only used to it. He expects it. And i really think you know. I think competence the word that is greatly overused in sport but at times. It's helpful to have. And i think that he's got a lot of it on his side. I saw the interview. That connor did with stephen a smith and the minute could be negga made. His name came up. Connor went beserk. How much do you believe that eight sent him. The way that that went down with kirby. Oh it's gotta be devastating. I mean i will tell you all the build up to not get the results you want it but then be guaranteed that you don't even get to try again because kabaeva retired. You have that taken away from you. As an athlete athlete you can kick yourself through some rough spots with hope. The hope of a rematch. The drive the motivation of possible redemption. What compete we compete. Left completely took his ball. It went home it. Connor can never get out one back. Yeah i mean as an athlete. That's.

"I said a tweet days ago saying maybe just maybe now i'll have my own promo code and look at this. You know. I think that's what that's what. Espn is doing. You start every so and you like former two division champ. Daniel cormie what you won't get as your own promo code brother as crazy man listening. Dc you have so much vegas vegas like your city. You've been in so many big fights here. Let me have something all right this weekend bro. I'm proud by getting approval. Call going forward man. I really do. Listen we're probably not you're right. We're in vegas for reasonable right. We're in vegas for the biggest pay per view of the entire year right. Dana said it's trending pre-sales better than any pay per view ever connor kabaeva so two point four million. So he's thinking this even bigger than that that speaks to the matchup. Do we got a trilogy. Poor versus mcgregor three from your side of things. What do you feel about this fight. After watching the first who so many times so i most recent trilogy that was big time was obviously you st pay and you kinda get the same thing right you. One guy wins the first fight. Another guy wins the second fight. So i'm trying to see what are the adjustments. Also one of the adjustments in conyers demeanor right. We had nice guy that was going to that was going to donate to charities. Everything is great coming up to the fight and obviously doesn't change the way you attack your craft but i believe you can only be one way. What are the adjustments. He makes not only in his style but in a way to hear approaches the fight. So here's the question doesn't make that much of a difference. Does it make that much of a difference if your nicer if you mean i mean connor. When he was on his way up was living crazy life. It was extreme. It was insane. He was doing all kinds of these partying hanging out. That led to a lot of the issues outside the octagon. Those issues are still gone right so even though he's a project in a much more intense way it's the same thing. Connor is still living the life that he was living before. So i'm questioning whether or not it makes that much of a. Yeah we'll see we'll see what you're missing is yeah. He was living a crazy life. We all have to mature and grow. Yeah we not ask. We don't ask. Jay z to rap about the marcy projects. The i hear you so. Connor has to make those adjustments. Have to understand that. I can't let this dictate the way that i approach. I actually think honesty. Certain guys. John jones conor mcgregor they can be so loose in the cage because they're so lasalle side right. Oh you ruling to take risk. Every time a guy gets into trouble they take a risk right and take a risk losing everything that you worked so hard for. But when you're willing to take risk in life there are no risk in the octagon so you just free to be who you are whereas when i do something i always think about it i like if i do this spinning back kick right. Am i going to get taken down and get stuck. Having to get up. jones never thinks that he's free mcgregor was able to say i'm gonna knock all the greatest way to all time because it in do it because he believes it. I don't know if him making this such a big point that i'm different now i'm back. It's not because he's still living different light while the other piece of it too is this. He has to make that adjustment. 'cause you are adjusting to a new life. You're adjusting to life where you can't crates at buses right. You can't where you can't fight in pubs and so now. What adjustments do i make to my camp to still give me that intensity still give me that isolation to make me feel like i could get loose and i always respected floyd mayweather. Because of this he lived the life outside of the ring. That i felt was crazy. That i felt was loose. But he didn't fight that way right. He fought under control in a way that allowed him to be strategic. When you watch conor mcgregor in fight one. What's the first thing he does comes out. He goes a kick. Yeah the second in kit right. Second strike is a kick. We see that nolan. When you see that type of looseness mimic and mimic life right. Their life or the life was more confined. The life was more normal in connor. Approach to fight more normal. These hers fight. The life was really kinda crazy. A whirlwind right so the first kicks spinning back. Kicks right connie's to get back to that looseness in the octagon. Now one of the biggest issues. I think he dealt wit in the second fight. Is those calf kicks only reason. Those catholics work is because dust and poor. You is also a southpaw and unless conner plans on fighting conventional war those kicks will still be available to dustin pori. Because i don't know if six months is enough time to truly develop the counters to that attack in order to help him. He hopes going back and watching both both fights though if you watch the first fight counter was on his toes a little bit more counter. He bounced around using some of those kicks kept the balance right kept the distance. Do you think he could change some of those things watching the first fight. Go back to that to protect himself a little bit more well. He's got to be on his toes. I mean look at. The numbers is to significant leg strikes. That killed him but also to take downs. Dustin create gave him a different look in the second fight when he got that. I take down. It changed connors ability to just go at him because the takedown was another factor that he had to dealt with in regards to his approach so when he started to stay back a little bit he started to get kicked he was getting hit with a cheque right hook. Yes that's been poor. Create is nasty. Bro he's big and strong. And i think a lot of people misunderstand when they're watching a fight that doesn't portia is a right handed guy when he's got that right in front right and he's land in that nasty jab yup because without power you. He's he's just developed his left hand to the point that he can knock you out on both sides but he lands the jab. It's getting out on the right the right. So so you've been in the trilogy net trilogy. It was one coming into this. Last fight with dustin winning with dusting understanding okay. Now it's even. I even think back to two dustin land in punch and going okay got gotcha. Reminding a mad at holloway type. Is there anything. Dustin needs to change going into the third fight that allow him to win and maybe dominate the way he did in the second or the second. I did this. I did this piece of the day like i did this. Essay forty ufc. And it was all about trilogies. It was all about trilogies and out. You gotta show us how smart no. I'm just saying lafayette schools. All it's not an essay that i gave you a script and i read but there was a line in there that said by the third fight are no more secrets and i think that is so true right. It's going to be in the small details in terms of what they can change. We've seen dust emporia go long before we've seen dustin poor you deal would long hard difficult fights. Connor did at one time with as can he continue that against a guy like porty. Who's going to be pressing. Him has been in a lot of dogfights rights and he's asked the guy. I don't know if dustin has to change much i think he has to do a lot of the same things. He has to go in there with confidence. He has the uses wrestling. Don't go with resin. Connor put something like whoever shoots versus a expletive. Use your wrestling..

"kabaeva" Discussed on You're Welcome! With Chael Sonnen

"The cannon so you heard me mention for mayweather earlier when i talked about jake paul and t would which makes me think of a story about floyd that i want to share with you and i promise that it does relate to be guys. There's great lessons that you learn in life and there's nothing in life like getting out there and doing it and my father used to talk about this. He would call it the price of an education. My father did not go to college so he would get into some business stuff and it did. It always go well. But he'd come home and he tell my mom but i'm paying for my education. I didn't spend two hundred grand on a degree. So i'm taking that money i would've given to a fancy university and put into the workplace but this is how i learned. I share that with you because it was something that i used to hear around the house. A lot. price of an education but boy was my dad right. There is nothing quite like just jumping in and doing something. And i will reflect back of some of the great night's or moments that i had in the sport i don't mean from a point of glory for learning something. Well i learned something. I would take it with me. I had a great night guys. Two thousand and five. I was working with the oregon state athletic commission. I was assigned hours an assigned inspector so my level of participation. Hi hannah on the oregon state athletic. I had this special shirt on. And i got the special lanyard so i came in through the back door but i was doing that. The rose garden sham mitchell versus an up and coming boxer by the name of floyd mayweather. And this was. I should tell you because it's relevant to his career. This was pretty boy. Floyd you guys remember pretty boy floyd mayweather not money mayweather. Pretty boy floyd mayweather. When he still couldn't get attention he hadn't broken out yet. And sean mitchell not for nothing might have been the bigger name on the car. Shopping mitchell was a former world champion. Floyd was an up and comer year was two thousand and five. So i get a sewing assigned to floyd's locker room in the only job that i have to do is to watch him from the time he reports until he goes to the ring. I cannot take my is often. He was to go to the bathroom if he was to strip naked. And i have to watch floyd at some point in their going to wrap his hands. Nothing could go on his body. Nothing goes into his system right. So this is my role. So i'm just sitting in the locker room with floyd now. Floyd had three kids in the room. There wasn't one of them that was over fourteen and i don't know how young they were. They could twelve eleven. He had three kids in the room and one of them had and this was. When was still telling you the times right. We'll get blasters. Remember those you care in two big speakers and there's like a cassette tape in the middle and one of them's whole job is to put this tape in moved to track three. Put this tape in. And this kid would just keep on changing music foot forward and say turn it up. Turn it up now. This is for hours and florida's just sitting on this chair. He never gets guzman. Was the promoter of this event and it was written in floyd's contract they were on. Hbo and floyd would make his walk at exactly. Exactly seven fifty two. He was to leave the locker room at seven. Fifty to the window. Went live at eight o'clock in the opening shot is going to be walking out so they're going to remove him from the locker room at seven fifty two. They're going to put him behind the curtain. At seven fifty. Seven this is written in the contract employed. Had better be on marks. 'cause we're going live around the world now. I don't know any of this stuff. I don't have any idea that that's written into a contract. I don't think about the tv side or the business side of things. This is a straight adjudication. That's gonna take place in seventeen by seventeen k ring under the queensberry rules at the discretion of the oregon state. I'd let it commission. I never. I don't know that this is a business and there's a show. I don't know that there's cues and there's marks. I don't know about this lights camera action. So it was this major introduction. I got but it came with one crowning moment which was all of the headlines of how many tens of millions of dollars floyd mayweather made. I was in the locker room when they brought him his biggest check at that time. Highest paid guy on the car that night. And it was four. And a half million dollars the relevance to the four and a half million gay in the difference between floyd and everybody else who is priced themselves out of having a job is floyd publicly. Said it was twenty five million. He publicly told the media the tens of millions of dollars. He publicly told people but he accepted much. More reasonable deal. Why because that was fair. And that's what could done in floyd new. There's a mark this isn't let me just say some crazy amount. This is a sport that i want to compete in. I need people to set this up. I need somebody to fight with me. All of them deserve to be paid. So let's do something that's fair. And that's how floyd did business which is why still fights to this day. Now the only thing more embellished than floyd mayweather purses are floyd mayweather. Pay per view numbers. But that's okay. It's a story and he still gets to walk out there. And be part of it and when i do juxtaposed floyd against the other guys who price themselves out of the sport. There's one difference. Floyd still has a job and they don't and you could go back as far as you want. You could go back to when they needed somebody to fight klitschko and lennox lewis pipes up and says i'll do it for a hundred million dollars. That's the same thing as saying. No i don't want to fight klitschko. It's the exact same thing. No business leader. Here's hey lennox's interested at one hundred million. Let's get him in and start. Negotiations are going to look like. He doesn't want to do the same with everybody else. Whoever tries to price himself out of a fight it's a perfectly fair in this brave way of getting out of a very hard job that you didn't want to do in the first place but there is no exceptions to the rule. We're seeing this in reverse done with kabaeva. Somebody's offering can be one hundred million dollars to box. Could beavis making a point. I don't want to do this anymore. It's not about the money it was never about the money. You're not going to get me for the hundred million. You're not gonna get me for one hundred dollars. And if there's every day that i want to go out and do the sport the price also won't stop me. I'll show up. And i'll do the sport. It's very honorable. It's very sincere. And it's very honest but it's also could be tell us i just don't wanna do this anymore. And the rest of us having to show him respect and saying okay we understand but i can read the same articles today about khabib turning down one hundred million dollars as i read one on chocolate del earlier today. We'll chuckle box enough. I can't remember who the opponent was. If they wanna pay him enough money. Well nobody wants to pay you enough money and nobody wants to watch you fight. If you're only doing it for the money it's it's one of the reasons that pricing yourself out is so effective if that's what you don't wanna do if you wanna get out of going and doing this very easy. Just throw a number so what. i'm seeing. chuck do this. i don't fault. Chuck chuck missed the entertainment era. He missed it completely. Guys like me with dr chocolate. Ladele purist al. Make him sick to his stomach. Right at the same time if chuck's coming out and saying i'll do it for x. price that price doesn't exist. Let me stop you right there. There's no promoter that needs you or anybody else enough to start paying money..

Conor mcgregor and dust employ both of them Kabaeva has beaten badly. He submitted both of them rear naked. Choke destroy them dominated. Them kabaeva has no need to fight. Either them o'connor wants his vengeance. He wants his rematch. She needs to write another netflix's Bullcrap there's only one reason why conor mcgregor and during want that fight to happen is money could be about. Honor is about respect. He's about the purity of mma and in my opinion. now i'll lose a lotta respect if he does but in my opinion. I don't believe he's gonna fight conor mcgregor again. Because he beat the bully. He beat the guy who is disrespectful. Who was borderline racist who talk crap about. His country is religion and his father. He beat him down. There's no reason to go back down. That bassey wrote conor mcgregor man. The only reason why he'd wanna fight could even rematch obviously used to win and to change that loss to victory. But because the money that would be the high self-identity history the the original fight so two point four million pay per views the rematch. Now completely on the espn platform would be very close to three million pay per view buys. That's the only reason why. Dana white's pushing this narrative my opinion. Gst verse could be the only fight that matters. And i'm not gonna lie. If that were to happen. I would be one of those three million fires. I would violate by that fight.
