Fresh update on "kim" discussed on Jim Bohannon

"I'd love to hear from you on the topics we're discussing. And quick update on this balenciaga TMZ, the reputable TMZ is reporting that Kim Kardashian actually declined a new campaign offer from balenciaga even before tweeting about her reevaluation on Sunday Night as somebody from her inner circle. Leaked to TMZ that she had already ditched the brand before even tweeting this information. Letting TMZ know that she had been scheduled to wear some balenciaga outfits at certain appearances that were scheduled on her calendar and she got rid of those outfits and is already looking at new designers for different outfits. And this was already decided before she tweeted on Sunday Night. So that's interesting to note. And while she didn't make it publicly and she, you know, got beat up a little bit for taking that very political approach. It seems that this is either damage control or she was just being cautious and not saying, hey, FU balenciaga, I'm going in a different direction. But it's always interesting to see how women come to the defense of children and in situations like this where children are kind of really being put out there in a bad way. Now, our guest is Hannah Ellis. Hannah, Olivia is the CEO of a small business called she rises studios, and she's got a new book out as well. Hannah Oliver, welcome to the program. Hi, thank you for having me. You're welcome. So tell us a little bit about your business. She rises studios. So we are a publishing public relations multi digital digital media company for women entrepreneurs. We're two years old. We're in 13 countries. And we've grown exponentially over the last two years. Okay. So what's your initial reaction to this controversy with balenciaga? Being that you're in the PR space. You know, I feel like it was definitely not a good thing once transpired. It's really hard to know everything we don't know all the facts. I would just say that the facts we know these 5 year old girls are taking photos with leather handcuff type of things and child porn papers in the photo shoot. Yeah, and so when I was going to say was, I definitely do not like the context. I don't think children should be exploited in any way, shape or form. In that way. And them as the large companies should never have even made it an issue or even done it in the first place. And for anyone who knew exactly what was going on in the initial beginning should have said something right away. No child should be exposed that way. Yeah, I agree with that. Now, you have a new book. Tell us about the book. Yeah, so the book is called me too, but never again. It's a book composed with ten different authors. It's causing it, it's an anthology. These women have shared some very deep intimate issues regarding their journey and being a victim of rape, molestation, sexual harassment in the workplace, human trafficking, you know, it's really sad that this is even a topic, but the topic has to be heard. We wrote the book with the intention of bringing more awareness more advocacy and really looking for stricter laws to be put in place. For issues like with Kim Kardashian and this company, people speaking out more and more and not allowing these types of behaviors to continue. So it is, it is a very diverse book. It's from women all over the world. And we all came together, and we each wrote a different part of the book and shared what happened. And what we can do to change it, and we talk a lot about life after the pain. It's tragic when anyone is exposed to that type of behavior. And so the book is being created to show that we were once victims, but we aren't anymore. We're warriors. And we're walking around and we're going to help and guide others. We're going to teach people what to look for. And to not accept this type of behavior from anyone, whether it's a large company of celebrity or someone's grandmother or grandfather. It's unacceptable. And that's what the book is about. Tell us a little bit about one of the stories, maybe the story that you wrote or one of the stories that really stood out most for you in the book. You know, that's really, it's such a loaded question because they're also different. There's ten different stories. There's a story in there of a woman who traditionally was stocked. In her country, she goes through this incredible way of trying to prove what's happening to her in this man just keeps going after her. And because of her culture, her country, she's separated. She's she's the blame, not the perpetrator. There is a story of a woman in there who was sexually molested by her grandfather for years, told her family the family said don't tell anybody, we'll deal with it in the household. You know, my story, I was the victim, unfortunately, three different occasions. From the age of three to the age of 21. Two of my oldest children are products of forcefully being raped. For every day, for years, being held against my will, doing things that I didn't want to do, you know, there's so many different parts to this. There's the woman who shares her story of being in the service. And it happening to her there. You know, serve and protect what about serving and protecting the women who are in armed forces army, all of that. What happens there? And the list goes on and on. It's just women and young children are told to hush. Don't say anything. You know, we're led to carry the shame and the guilt. And we're just saying no more. You know? It's not acceptable. Yeah, agreed. Folks wrong with Hannah olivas. She's the author of a brand new book and the CEO of she rises studios. And we're about to take a quick pause, but when we come back, I'd like her to share a little bit more of her story in the book so that we can have a better understanding of it and what you guys in the audience can expect if you buy the book. Again, we're on with Hannah olivas. I am rich Valdez, if you want to join or have a question for Hannah, it's 8 6 6 5 O 5 46 26. Don't go anywhere because there is more to come straight

Dan Proft: Why We Have Lawlessness in Blue City America

"I mean, this Alvin Bragg district attorney in New York made a stunning admission yesterday. There's a guy who's a serial shoplifter. I'm sure in Chicago like Chicago, New York has had all these instances of people that go in and clear the shelves right in front of people, right? Broad daylight walk out because they won't be prosecuted. The district attorney admitted that out of nearly 24 separate shoplifting cases against this guy, they pursued only two of them because it would have been a waste of resources to hit him with all charges. Listen, these radicals, these zealots, the Lori Lightfoot's of the world, they don't want bad guys prosecuted, Dan. Well, this is the anti broken windows philosophy of Soros funded prosecutors. You've got Alvin Bragg in Manhattan. We've got Kim Foxx and Cook County in Chicago. And this is why you have lawlessness that is raining in big blue city America. I mean, in Chicago, we've had 670 people murdered so far this year more than 3300 people shot. And that's actually slightly down from last year. It really is a level of mayhem that has not been seen in at least the last 50 years in Chicago. And their response is to do more of the same.

"You know, that girl brielle veerman Kim zolciak's daughter, one of those bravo who is, you know, she's rewatched her grill up. Getting all the plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures and all the enhancements to look more like her mother, who, by the way, her mother's big old brash, Texas Braun, but there's a beauty about her, but she just crazy. But it's over the top. I get it. And the daughter made a lot of changes to her face, her breasts, her ass. You're typical. And, you know, many guys would look at her and go, oh, damn, she's hot. So the other day, brielle says that she's on the receiving end of very suggestive Instagram messages from several non single famous men, including two from the bravo family, or they call them bravo liberties. Oh my God. I quit the job if they coined that term and I worked there. She goes, there's some very interesting direct messages actually from a lot of different people. This chick is 25. All right? How mother came Real Housewives of Atlanta? Married to big old football player, very open about sex, open amount the things she's had made bigger and smaller, et cetera so according to brielle biermann, the social media flirts or married or have girlfriends include two from bravo and a bunch of other ones who are very well known. And when this podcast post, I forget the person's name who cares everybody's got one. Let's call them Vinny boom bots. When if any boom bots asked her about the content of the DMs, things like, hi, you're so beautiful, or they'll send me one of my own posts and be like, wow, although just send me a suggestive emoji. Listen, you deserve an eggplant emoji with the way you dress and act and what you've done with your body. What else were you doing this for? You wanted men to look at true and all to you. Now she says she doesn't respond, or reply, I don't believe that. She probably says, hit me up on WhatsApp. Who knows? She said the attempts at communication make her uncomfortable, you think she felt that way when she squeezed the 36 triple D's into her little baby top,

Balenciaga's 'Edgy' Lotta Volkova Is Twisted

"There's a woman named lada volkova. She is balenciaga's senior stylist. W magazine once called her the coolest stylus in the industry and by cool, this is the way people talk. They mean that she's edgy. And takes chances and those bold things. In other words, she does disgusting things that people don't. People are too afraid to speak down about because what do I know? Maybe she's so brilliant. She just knows so much more than me. I'm not going to stand up and say this idea is horrible. I mean, it's a lot of October. Because stylus in the industry. And when you get to the balenciaga level of stylish stylist, that's pretty big. Now, a few days ago, the fashion house tried to blame the photographer for the child sex controversy, but now it seems clear that the real fault is with volkova. In fact, the photographer came out and said, I don't know what they're going to do once I take the pictures and you know, I know he's got to be a little complicit when he took the pictures that those things were out, the plush BDSM teddy bears were in the little girl's hand, so I don't know what that means. But I will add them on Instagram, but of course he didn't write back to me. Because I said, what kind of a sick bastard would take pictures of kids like that? I'm sure he didn't even look at it because he's been too busy getting creamed by a lot of people in the public. But it's a big, big problem. And this vocal has been working with working closely with the head of balenciaga, in other words, the fish stinks from the head down. In other words, everybody knew about it and was in on it. Because it was edgy, and who's going to complain, but it's so popular. Do you see that Kanye wears us and Kim Kardashian wears us and Nicole Kidman does add to us? Isabelle huppert does add for us? Yeah, well, that backfired, didn't it assholes? But now ever since people became aware of this perverse ad campaign, volkova suddenly made our Instagram private. I ran through my phone to look at her Instagram, gone. But you can go on the Internet and find some snaps. If you're sadly enough, it's not that hard that they're out there. But you can get a peek at how messed up she is. I mean, you don't want to walk away from your phone and vomit. It's just a very glaring indication of how many people. People in important and very influential positions innocent little children like stray dogs. Some of the pictures I saw had disgusting imagery of children and all sorts of haunting violent sick perverted ways. Like a lady wearing a red latex shirt holding two plastic newborns covered in red red blood. Just sick shit. A toddler lifting up the skull of a dead man. A child lying in the middle of a pentagram while the devil sits on a throne behind it. Devil has his legs spread wide open. He's not wearing any pants. Just a new devil with a kid on the floor. It's actually one of those pictures with an adult woman on the floor. You got a female toddler lying on her side, smiling a little girl's smile, but honor they have this JonBenét Ramsey wig and full beauty contest makeup. There's a little, there's a little boy bound to a chair and gagged. There is a feminized little boy posing like a female in a position I can't even imagine getting in. He's got no top on he's wearing jeans and gold pumps. Then there's the bursting I've ever seen. A photo titled murder and a child's bedroom. It's so disgusting. It looks like an actual crime scene. I mean, it's almost like, I mean, I know, I'd all happen recently that the four murders and I Idaho, but it's almost like they were depicting that. You see a bloodied bed. Covers a role messy, there's a person child, I should say, I can't tell if it's female or male. For the back of the bed, face against the wall, blood everywhere in the bed. And on the bloodied carpet, there are several items of bloody clothes on the floor. There's a record player. And some records and albums around and disarray,

Governor Abbott Calls for Investigation of Harris County, Texas

"So often we hear about these election improprieties, election irregularities. And then we just wait and nothing ever happens. Now, I'm happy to say this came out from Greg Abbott, the reelected governor of Texas. I'm calling for an investigation into the widespread problems with the Harris county elections last Tuesday. And the allegation of election improprieties in our state's largest county. By the way, this is a county that includes Houston. May result from anything ranging from malfeasance to blatant criminal conduct. So he's going to look into it and he's calling on people to look into it. And this is very new. But more importantly, I mean, I'm glad Greg is on this, but people will say Greg Abbott is a Republican and he didn't like the results because you know Greg Abbott in Harris county lost. Beto o'rourke got more votes than he did, right? However, and as you know, people that don't understand, Harris county is the largest county in Texas. It's almost 5 million voters. So Harris county encompasses all of Houston and a few surrounding areas and that's about 4.7 million people. But the most, I think, interesting part of all this is that the DA in Harris county, who is a Democrat, her name is Kim ogg is calling for an investigation herself.

"Right now is a guy who knows Florida knows Donald Trump knows we're on desantis Carl Jackson is here host of the Carl Jackson show heard in Orlando Florida and of course you hear him all the time on Salem radio, one of our best colleagues and host you can follow him at Carl Jackson show on Twitter and Carl, thanks for being with us today on America first. Thank you, Dan. I appreciate you having me on. And now this is going to be an interesting one because we know Donald Trump is jumping in and we hear. Chris Christie talking about the independence that he's going to turn off and that perhaps maybe someone like Iran desantis is better suited. I would contend Carl that there aren't a lot of moderates independent. I almost feel like they're kind of like the unicorn. Everybody is so divided. Everybody has such strong opinions right now. And I believe what happened to our friendly older, it doesn't matter who you are. If you have a Republican buy your name, they're going to come after you. I don't know if you're Trump or just say it to whoever you are. They're coming for you. Yeah, honestly, this is why Jen, when we get in power, the Republican Party, we need to willpower. I mean, it's just simple as that, listen, I don't think that Trump is a liability to the GOP, that's a bunch of nonsense. I defer a little bit in where I don't, I didn't like the tag to desantis. I think this is the time to be united and not divided unless they do get into a primary. But I'll say this. I want Trump to be the next president. And I'll tell you, I'll tell you why. Foreign policy is that no one's talking about that. But for God's sakes, we're damn near and World War three, Trump was able to curtail Xi Jinping, the guy in North Korea, I don't know why his name escapes me right now. Kim Jong-un. Thank you. Democrats Vote Early, Republicans Vote Day Of

"Elections now have transformed into Democrats voting early and Republicans voting on election day. That has become not only more of a train we saw even in 2020. 2018, early on, this would have not been true. Early on what election, early voting would have had typically Republicans had some early votes, so did the Democrats, but it was not as pronounced as we're seeing now. I'll give you an example of Arizona. We just saw that most of all the early votes that came in were decided to lay Democrat. Georgia, again, this was one and we'll talk about more in depth in just a minute, but Georgia, the early voting was, I mean, more than just decidedly demographic. It was overwhelmingly Democrat. But yet when the day of voting came in early day of these went overwhelming Republican and you had Brian Kemp who won easily over Stacey Abrams and down the ticket where they were in the first 45 minutes or an hour of reporting when these early vowels were being counted. Kim, everybody on the ticket was down. All that flip that on day of voting. So what is this really interesting now from a perspective of a Republican and a Democrat either the Democrats now depend on early voting, they're using the mail the early vote about my own or they're using early voting to get their votes out. Republicans are now depending on day of voting, which is going to be interesting over time because it's always been one of those things if you have issues on day of if you had last minute things come up, depending on the day of voting is typically has a little more fraud to it, especially if you're in a state like Georgia and others who have a very generous early voting time frame going backwards or three weeks where you can actually in person early vote during the week and on weekends. "In every episode I and hit a different piece of short fiction and I read it to you. The only thing these stories have in common is that I love them. And I hope you will too. There is a concept that has become a little more familiar to us these last few years, the parasocial relationship. To one sided relationship where one person spends energy or emotion or time, thinking about another person who doesn't even know that that other party exists, but you know, this concept isn't new. A couple of researchers came up with the term parasocial relationship back in 1956. After mass media like TV, radio and movies gave people the illusion of a face to face relationship with the performer on the screen. Now these days, we have even more avenues to spend time with people we don't know through social media. Maybe you've been following someone on Instagram for years. Seeing them go through haircuts or partners or moves, talk to you about makeup or books or, you know, whatever. Their presence feels comforting. Like it feels when you hang out with a good friend and watch TV. Except, this person, you follow on social media, if you pass them on the street, it looks right through you. Today's story hashtag climbing nation is about one of those kind of relationships. About the loneliness and distance that you can feel when your friend is just a person you follow online. And what might happen if you try to explore that friendship. In real life. This story feels fresh and new to me. While also having the kind of classic elements of a mystery that you might find in an Agatha Christie novel. It's from Kim foo's wonderful collection entitled lesser known monsters of the 21st century published by tin house, Kim fu is also the author of two novels and a collection of poetry, and her story collection was long listed for the Scotiabank giller prize. Yeah, I mean, yeah, this is a race that nobody's noticed. Right. Right. And you know, I wonder, the guy who's running against, by the way, his name, Mike Franken. Yeah. And it's life and death for old chuck and he's not, you know, he's built for comforting and built for speed. He's not built for the home stretch right now. Yeah. So who knows? I mean, I mean, I think you're going to, I think what you are going to see is a lot of split ticket voters. Yeah. Yeah. For example, I think in Iowa, Kim Reynolds is probably going to get reelected governor. But grassley could lose. Yeah. Whitmer's going to win. You know, I think the democratic gubernatorial candidates are in great shape. Do you? I hope so. Tony Evers in Wisconsin, I'm sending novena upwards for, but I think a lot of them, I think a lot of them are going to survive more Healy's going to win, you know, from here or there in Massachusetts, not the typical of anything. Right. Right. But you know, I guess it is astounding that statistical speaking of statistical ties, Herschel Walker. Has gone up despite all these allegations. Kris Jenner Prostitutes Her Daughter for Playboy

"The other day, I see this beautiful picture of Kim Kardashian when she posed for Playboy. I mean, just beautiful. Black and white pick, she's laying on her tummy, her ass is up and I mean, she look gorgeous. It was a few months after her sex tape was leaked back in 2007. And the article it turns out was about the fact that her mom was so fine with this and Kim was so easy to take off her clothes when the shoot didn't call for that. I mean, she's stripped down through a birthday suit and the guy photographed it. It was like, oh, we don't even need. We don't need what Steven waito, who's shot the best of everybody. He's like, no, middle aged. It's okay. Stephen Wayne is shoot from that shot. From that show, that fall, whatever the hell, it shows her looking sultry, she did a great job of, you know, posing, you know, like, it's like she was a model beforehand. But she looked fantastic. So recently, it came up on her show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and she talked about it, and basically, Steven Weiner says that her mother wanted Kim to do Playboy to promote the show. Okay, but at that point, the only thing she was known for was the sex tape. And then Chris Jenner's reaction to her daughter's work, you're doing amazing sweetie. Kim Kardashian Revealed She Failed the 'Baby' Bar Exam More Than Once

"A few weeks ago, during another episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, I don't know if you saw Kim Kardashian revealed to her sister's court in Chloe that she took her first year law students examination, which is also called the baby bar exam, and she's got a four 74, which was 86 points lower than the 5 60 she needed to pass. And she blamed the test results on, you know, I raised four kids on my own. I'm running a business during the pandemic and getting COVID, she also said the test is harder when you're trying to cram four years of law school into three and it's just as encouraged her to take the test at the next possible time. And it sounds like Kim took their advice except this time. She managed to score even lower. She got a four 63, and then she finally revealed that she again failed the baby bar. She said, I failed, fuck. I've failed. I know, she cried last week about the marriage that Kanye, it is a 40 year old woman saying, fuck, I failed. She's going to law school online. And she told her lawyers on the phone about her second attempt at the test. She said, this is really annoying. Pretty much the same thing, but a little worse than the first time I took it and failed. Now she didn't say when she took the exam and she didn't specify when she might take it again. If she chooses to do that, but she really wants to be a lawyer, so she probably will. Now a store of 5 60 is a 70%. Which means we're dealing with 800 points. A four 63 works out to about 58%. So she got at least half the answers right. And that's got to count for something. I mean, this is Kim Kardashian. We're talking about. She gets points for even taking the exam a second time, doesn't she guys? You know how much reading that is?

How Sammy Davis Jr and Kim Novak's Love Affair Started

"One night in 1957, Tony Curtis goes backstage and he tells Sammy that Kim Novak wants to meet him. And he invited him to sit ringside that night at the place called the shape Harry. And he didn't have a chance to talk to her. He didn't want to create any problems. So he says, look, I'm going to have a party at my house. Come on by and I'll invite Kim. That's what Tony Curtis said. And they both came over and they spent the night together deep, deep and talk. And right from the beginning, it was obvious they were getting along in a very intense way. And that was the beginning of the relationship. So you can blame Tony Curtis, I suppose. Well, Kim Novak also asked to meet him. But she wasn't alone in her being attracted to Sammy Davis magnetism. A lot of men might have considered a monthly because it was short and slight, and he had that flat nose, but chicks loved them. Chicks love his charisma. His stage presence was very sexually charged, and women were really drawn to him. But it hurt when men talked about his face being as far as his shovel and shit like that. And he'd say, yeah, it hurts me, but it gets me where I'm going. But Sammy knew how much women loved him. He liked his looks. He knew his face was ugly, but he worked on his body. He stayed trimmed he stayed athletic. Fantastic shape. He loved this little ass. That was his prized feature. He'd make a point of asking people how they liked his ass. Isn't it adorable? So he had a good time with himself. But after that meeting, the gossip industry started to hum. And went into high gear as it normally does when two big stars are seen together. Somebody makes a call as they still do today. And back then, somebody at Tony Curtis party put a phone call into Dorothy kill gallon, who worked for the Hearst newspaper chain. And she wrote in her column, which top female movie star initial kn is seriously dating which big name entertainer, initial SD. I mean, who the fuck's gonna get that wrong?

The Star Crossed Love Affair of Sammy Davis Jr and Kim Novak

"This story is about Sammy Davis's lover fan with Kim Novak, the very white. I mean, the very beautiful white actress. And the problem was she was not taken, but back in those days, she kind of was because Kim Novak was the studio had Harry Collins revenge on Rita Hayworth. And Sammy Davis Jr. was Kim Novak's revenge on Harry Cohen. And it all began with the gossip item in Dorothy kill gowns column in the New York journal American and it became a national scandal on the eve of America's long struggle for civil rights. Started back in 1957, Chicago's most famous nightclub, the shade parade, and Sammy Davis Jr.'s on stage to smoke from his cigarette as all around his hand, had, you know, how he looked on stage. Gorgeous shirt, cufflink sparkling everywhere. He was in the dark and then a spotlight hit him. And it was almost sexual to the people in the audience. And he was saying to Kim Novak, who was sitting right in front of the stage in a table, and she just finished working on Alfred Hitchcock's vertigo. And that night would be the very first and virtually the last time that Kim Novak and Sammy Davis Jr. would be seen in public together. Because at the heart of their star crossed affair was the notorious bad motherfucker Harry Cohen.

But I <Speech_Male> just don't like <Speech_Male> this behavior. <Speech_Male> I never I <Speech_Male> never ever have. <Speech_Male> It's just not my <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> world. And if <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> I can get <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> a cheap laugh <Speech_Male> by dropping an N <Speech_Male> word, <SpeakerChange> I'd <Speech_Male> rather not get the <Speech_Male> left. <Speech_Male> Are <Speech_Male> you saying that in a few <Speech_Male> years that the <Speech_Male> new Kendall <Speech_Male> Jenner <SpeakerChange> baby is <Speech_Male> going to sue me <Speech_Male> for <Speech_Male> when I say this <Speech_Male> baby? You'll probably turn that <Speech_Male> right. The <Speech_Male> baby will be like, I was a bird <Speech_Male> of that day. <SpeakerChange> That was <Speech_Male> completely fair. It'll <Speech_Male> prove you right. Hey, quickly <Speech_Male> before we go to break Kanye, <Speech_Male> continues <Speech_Male> his war <Speech_Male> of words with Kim <Speech_Male> Kardashian, <Speech_Male> now claiming that she <Speech_Male> kidnapped their <Speech_Male> daughter. <Speech_Male> So ever the weekend Kanye <Speech_Male> did get to <Speech_Male> spend some time <Speech_Male> with his kids <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> and this seems <Speech_Male> to have triggered <Speech_Male> him deleting <Speech_Male> all these really <Speech_Male> disparaging <Speech_Male> posts. So <Speech_Male> video is circulating <Speech_Male> of him and <Speech_Male> his four kids hanging <Speech_Male> out at <Speech_Male> some sort of church <Speech_Male> service <Speech_Male> in LA and it <Speech_Male> looks as if he <Speech_Male> is unchaperoned. <Speech_Male> It looks like there's <Speech_Male> no kimber. <Speech_Male> It looks like it's him <Speech_Male> and the kids, however, <Speech_Male> just a few <Speech_Male> days before he <Speech_Male> was really <Speech_Male> at it on social <Speech_Male> media, accusing <Speech_Male> him <Speech_Male> of trying <Speech_Male> to kidnap <Speech_Male> their daughter. <Speech_Male> Also, <Speech_Male> he said that <Speech_Male> Kim has said, <Speech_Male> I don't think she has <Speech_Male> that <Speech_Male> Kanye tried to put <Speech_Male> a hit out <Speech_Male> on her chemistry <Speech_Male> responded <Speech_Male> and she <Speech_Male> very rarely does this. <Speech_Male> She shot <Speech_Male> back and she was <Speech_Male> really angry. <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> Begging him <Speech_Male> to stop. <Speech_Male> They're going through a <Speech_Male> divorce. <Speech_Male> She's trying <Speech_Male> really hard <Speech_Male> to make this work, <Speech_Male> and he <Speech_Male> keeps coming <Speech_Male> at her. I don't <Speech_Male> think he will <SpeakerChange> ever. <Speech_Male> What about <Speech_Male> my problem <Speech_Male> is the extended <Speech_Male> family, the cousins <Speech_Male> that are like, hey, <Speech_Male> Kanye. How's <Speech_Male> it going? Oh, yeah. <Speech_Male> I hope the families. <Speech_Male> By the way, <Speech_Male> my <Speech_Male> son wants some yeezys <Speech_Music_Male> <SpeakerChange> and <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> seriously <Speech_Male> lose. And <Speech_Male> then you give up your <Speech_Male> cousin's phone <Speech_Male> number like <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> cut off those <Speech_Male> cousins. <Speech_Male> He is who he is <Speech_Male> and you know a little <Speech_Male> controversial <Speech_Male> maybe Kim <Speech_Male> knew this, like this <Speech_Male> was the guy <Speech_Male> that went after Taylor <Speech_Male> Swift and she laughed <Speech_Male> about that. <Speech_Male> She supported <Speech_Male> him in that, <Speech_Male> and so she knew <Speech_Male> who he was. <Speech_Male> Now it <Speech_Male> seems like <Speech_Male> all that behavior <Speech_Male> has turned <Speech_Male> on Kim. <Speech_Male> If someone's going to <Speech_Male> behave like that <Speech_Male> to somebody <Speech_Male> to anybody, eventually <Speech_Male> they will do it <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> to you. I have this <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> rule too. When I'm <Speech_Male> out with friends, <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> when one of us goes to <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> the bathroom, if <Speech_Male> a friend talks <Speech_Male> about that person <Speech_Male> behind their back, <Speech_Male> I know they will do <Speech_Male> it to me too. That's <Speech_Male> the point. I'm <Speech_Male> trying to make here is <Speech_Male> that when I go to pee, <Speech_Male> they'll talk about me <Speech_Male> as well. So <Speech_Male> I'm just <Speech_Male> dopey. <Speech_Male> I pee <Speech_Male> when before I leave <Speech_Male> the house and <SpeakerChange> then I just <Speech_Male> hold it. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> Just stop <SpeakerChange> talking <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> about people's backs. She's still part of the show. She's violates via tags, but it is interesting here like can you forgive someone that you've worked with? When you work together again, I can. People have upset me. I've had fallouts, but when it comes to work, maybe not personal life, but when it comes to work, I'm actually pretty good at just getting the job done. Right. Sara said no. Let's talk storylines for a second. This Samantha comes back in person. Sarah Jessica Parker gets to see her best friend. But they do the old like they do on TV like when they replace a character and say, oh, it's the same character, but a totally different person. She's got a ton of she gets a ton of plastic surgery. They like the mom's homage from American pie. Yeah, it has happened when you're like, oh, you look a little different. Remember on Dallas, it's probably too old a reference, but they used to change characters there too. They did it, they did it on fresh Friends. Hey, sir Sara said, no more, no more Kim Cattrall memo. Interesting this is quite a serious story. What's going on with John drogon?.

"The demand for future of work consultants has skyrocketed in the wake of the pandemic. In a large part of it has been driven by employees and their expectations around work. When I got started in radio back in the 1990s, the advice I was given be the first one in, the last one out, outwork, everyone else, roll with the punches, don't complain, and you'll succeed. But today, that advice just won't fly. The evidence is clear. All kinds of employee surveys that have been carried out over the past year or so show that our relationship to work is changing, especially among younger workers. They don't want to be married to their jobs. They don't want to live to work. They want a fulfilling, healthy, balanced life, to clock out at 6 p.m. and leave work at work, especially on weekends. Employees at big companies are speaking up and speaking out, standing up against management decisions, organizing and taking back a lot of power. Now, all of this may seem new, but my guest today, Kim Scott might call it the latest iteration of radical candor. Kim's book called radical candor lays out an argument that calls for more honesty, more humanity, and a healthier balance of power in the workplace. Kim spent much of her early career working at a series of startups before she went to Google in 2004 to manage its advertising business. In 2011, she joined Apple, where Kim was asked to train managers on how to lead with kander. It's an approach she learned the hard way after years of making mistakes of her own. But even so, Kim didn't go to college thinking she was going to be some big shot business guru. In fact, her plan was to fight the Cold War as a Slavic literature major. That's absolutely right. I studied arms control and I was going to I was going to end the Cold War. And look, I succeeded. But with that with studying Slavic literature, what was your idea? I mean, did you intend to go into academia in some form? No, I never intended to go into academia. It seemed to constricting. But what I had a very clear idea that I was going to understand the Russian culture and the American culture and help us all get along. So that was my, that was my 18 year old ambition. Tell me about this job that you had out of college because from what I understand it was you went to go work for a diamond company, which eventually would morph into a diamond business. Yes. Yes. So initially, actually I went to Moscow was then the Soviet Union to study armed military conversion, which is swords into plow shares. So I was writing an article for which I was paid $6 a month. About this. And that turned into a job with the Soviet companies fund, which was a fund started by battery march financial management to invest in these converting Soviet defense facilities. And then that ended when the Soviet Union fell. So I stayed looking for a job and wound up working for a diamond cutting company. Which was, which was not really what I expected when I studied Slavic literature, but life takes unpredictable turns. Because actually Moscow is the center of diamond cutting, like some of the great, right? Yeah, the diamonds are actually mined in yakutia, which is in the far east and Russia and mostly north of the Arctic circle. And that is where the diamonds are mined, but then they're cut and polished in Moscow, a bunch of them. Something like a quarter of the world's diamonds come from yakutia. Your job was to gather recruit diamond cutters who already had jobs and to convince them to come work for this American based company? Yeah, this was my first management job, actually. And I thought it was going to be so easy. I just waved some dollars out, right? Yeah. Yeah. The ruble was worthless and worth less and less every single day. And I had dollars. And I thought, you know, as soon as I just told these people, what I was going to pay them, that they would come work for me. But that, of course, was not how it played out. It turned out they wanted a picnic. They didn't just want the money. So I'm on the outskirts of Moscow, drinking a bottle of vodka with these diamond cutters. And by the time we finished the bottle of vodka, it becomes clear to me that what they wanted was not just money. They wanted to know that they would have a boss who gave a damn. They wanted to know that if things went to hell in Russia, which they felt like they might do it any moment, there would be someone on the outside who had helped get them them and their families out who would really care. And this was the moment in my life when I thought, oh, management is more interesting. This whole, this whole idea of management is actually it's about human relationships and that's why I studied in addition to wanting to save the world from nuclear Holocaust. That's why I studied Russian literature. Because human relationships are really endlessly interesting. So this experience in severe nascent experience in management in your early 20s must have kind of sparked something because you did this for a couple years and then decide to go to business school. Yes. I mean, to be honest, part of the reason I went to business school was it was the shortest of all the next steps I could take. And it seemed to have the most wide open exit options. So I knew I didn't want to be a lawyer. I knew I didn't want to be a doctor. I had no idea what I wanted to do. So I was like, but I knew I wanted to leave. I've been in Russia at this point for four years. One mafia was beheading its competing mafia and leaving the heads on stakes around the suburbs of the city. And I thought, you know, this is a good time to get out of here. All right, so after working in Moscow, you decided to go to business school. And after getting your MBA at Harvard, you go right to work for a company called Delta three, right? Yeah, based in Jerusalem. Now I was back 20 years ago as a correspondent there. So I know that Israelis can be very blunt. They don't. They tell you exactly what they think. And this was kind of shocking for you when you got there, right? Because when you got to this company, because you weren't used to that kind of direct, almost aggressive feedback. Yeah, no, I had been raised in the south. And so, you know, I was definitely taught if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. And that was certainly not the, that was not the attitude. And I really, it really was, this was good management, actually. I did see some good management at Delta three. Noam bardin, who wound up was the CTO. He wound up starting ways, actually, was the CEO of ways. And I remember watching him argue with his with his team. And I remember thinking, you know, he really respects these people. And when he when he disagrees vehemently it's a sign of respect. It's not a sign of disrespect. Because initially, you're thinking, this is unlike anything I've experienced, but people, you write.

"Kim say what's up to fire nation and share something that you believe about becoming successful that most people disagree with? Hey, fire nation excited to be here. Let's see one thing I think most people would disagree with. Is I think everyone thinks you need passion, right? I mean everyone's like, oh, we need passion. But I just don't think passion is going to get you where you need to be. So I look at passion from a different angle, which is it's a Latin root word of pain or suffering. And so I really think you do need passion but not in the way people think, not to love it, but to suffer for it. So to be a true entrepreneur, what are you willing to suffer forward to achieve that vision of that you have in your mind? Yeah, I agree with that because for me, I will be honest. I did have to suffer through becoming a podcast interviewer by interviewing people and by communicating with them. It was a struggle. I was bad. I had never done it before. I just really to get up every day, dreading it a little bit. And just getting a little bit better every single day and here we are 3000 episodes later. So what I'm trying to get across to you fire nation is like, I've actually evolved into being passionate about having conversations like this and about loving what I do. It wasn't like this necessarily day one. I never wanted to go to school to be a radio announce or anything like this is something that, hey, you've seen opportunity, your passion, can evolve over time. We're here to talk about taking the jump into entrepreneurship. And Kim's going to be breaking down a lot of things, because there are him a variety of jumps that we as entrepreneurs make. What types of jumps do you see most often? Oh my gosh..

I going to want talk myself. Good well then good. We need to trade. We need a trade places. You need to know how. I've been feeling. Oh kim because you you think. If i feel like that that you're gonna feel any better. You're gonna feel worse than i do because we're usually opposite. No we're usually opposite of each other. So i'm telling you great. Nothing like kim. If you think nothing happens in so if you think curses bad i would watch curse axes a million time because i know artwork. Kim kim the artwork for a good amount of them are good. But that's the thing now. There are so many movies in circulation and like you know two twenty ten and up. That have really good artwork. They have some plots. People know how to write some plots that sound good and they i. I would actually argue that. I think if i remember right i would say toy box is worse. Quality than curse curse looks better than toy. Because some of these look like they're shot on an iphone. And i think you know the one that looks really cool the witches one you know..

"Doing all those things. So are there things that you look for in a chart. that might be problematic. I mean what would be something that would be concerning but also more importantly how do you then change the habit i mean or are you stuck with it. Let's put it that way to yet. The reason why. I love the evolutionary aspect of astrology. It's all about potential. It's all about. Yes we we are. We are certainly that natal. Chart is what we wanted to come in with right. That's our souls mission for us in this life and so when we look at that we can say hot. Like i have saturn at the top of my chart right in the mid heaven while happens to be pisces. Probably not an awesome effect for money because pisces is ethereal dreamy imaginative and doesn't really make things real and cyclic in flowing. Oh there's my mid heaven there's that tenth house right at the start of it. I have saturn's sitting there. Saturn is is the one that wants to make you work wants to make you make sure keeps you alone. Makes you make hard choices. Makes you just keep climbing. That path would like fourteen pounds on your back at ads with every step another fifteen pounds and then says oh you thought you made it to the summit. No it's really base camp. Sorry kim right so that doesn't feel awesome. So if i see that somebody chart i would talk to them about. You're gonna wanna take it might be a winding road what you're going to be learning things along the way that you're gonna wanna master you're going to become a master. It may come later in life. This is all attorney. But you'll get there you will succeed. And here's here's you wanna be patient. Sorry about that. Oh no a. Here's the thing was saturn to you. Saturday is one of the ballistic and a lot of times when people see saturn a money house. They assume they're going to be broke. And i've seen a lot of people who have saturn in the second house who number one if they understand astrology they assume that or they have poverty consciousness like or old habits that they learn from the parents. How do you deal with saturn if it's lance and like your second or eighth house yes so in in. That's an excellent question. So i tell people to lean into sadder. i say let's go. Let's not avoid saturn. let's let's let's make friends with saturn and let's say okay. It is going to be hard work. It is going to be more choice. You are going to have to say. I don't want you to give things up. He does he. He's very much about choice. So you wanna be a good decision maker. You wanna be able to make choices for yourself that are aligned with your your mission right like your life purpose when you do that. Saturday becomes a great friend..

"Okay let's get into today's episode so today we're talking about astrology and money habits and i have a special guest. I guess is kim woods. Welcome kim thank you so much for having me tracer. It's so great to be here. I love talking about astrology. And i love talking about astrology to educate guests but also i like talking about money so i think this is a great topic. I think a lot of people are looking for different things in their astrology charts to understand how to max their lives out so before we get started talking about the ins and outs of that. How did you get into astrology. Well i was. This is gonna sound weird at first so just bear with me. I was brought up catholic and my mother believed in astrology. What like so. That was super great. So the astrology window is always been opened. I can remember when i was about seven. My mother going to an astrologer and i was like coloring with another little girl that their mother must be going to astrologer too. So i have images and remembrances of seeing big coffee table books. You know the parker house astrology guide or you know what linda goodman. I think right. So lucky for me. Window is always open and i didn't really get into it until i met stephen force work on evolutionary astrology. I went in studied with him for years. And it just opened up a whole new way to look at it that i loved and so i have never looked back and you also do coaching work to do. And how do you combine astrology. I because that got me nosy. How do you combine astrology with your coaching. so i do. I'm a business. Strategist so let's be even more clear about the fact that i do business work. I do money work. And i do astrology work. And they're all combined and i front faced with astrology. That's not negotiable. We entered through your stars and the stars. But they spent at least five minutes like focusing just on that and there was a camera on it as well. I literally have no explanation for that. I don't have the slightest idea what was happening there or even what could have happened. Like i don't even have an explanation of what possibly could have been going on with that. Is this a bigger mystery than the don't blink shards in hand yes. This is a bigger mystery. That most other things i've ever seen in a movie because i i totally cut something out share with a gun pointing to the data. Kim kim murders no one shot anyway and there's a few times where people look at the gun and Keys looks at the gun. is it loaded. And the guy doesn't answer but he cut chuckles he's like So he's implying that is loaded was supposed to kill him like what was the point of that. I don't know maybe they were going to try to kill keys off. No he had no it no no no. He had no idea that was just that guy from chatelet. That was just his. That was his thing. I don't know maybe that was part of art. I like i. Don't i guess that's the all the makes sense because you could just explain by saying it's art right. It's supposed to feel real. Yeah i don't. I don't know what that was sega's last name is around trees. His name is richard roundtree. That's a cool now richard roundtree. Wow what a rowntree. Yes so i mean at that point keyes runs in and he's gonna do whatever he planned on doing with the whole thanksgiving belt ball bullshit or whatever is our exhibit is art demonstration and he runs in and he's about to kill everyone they're like. Oh my god. But then he's having a one on one on one like amano mono conversation with his dad in the mirror and because glowing or not and the mirrors like saud and then it blows up and then like a blow bunch of windows in explosion it throws keys into that dimension that like white light dimension you know. Yes that's what he sees all the people missile room. We kind of went ahead a little bit for a second. But that's how he got into that dimension and we. We also mentioned lane the girlfriends sitting at the dinner table. There thanksgiving meal. Pretend to be the mom. They're like staging just like his flashback. And then there's this friend from chef the black. I is like sharpening. The knives of the tables must be like the dad. So he's walking up to them as he's having these flashbacks he has a gun and they start to realize like oh fuck he's out of it he may actually try to kill us. The should have realized awhile before. And then he's like shaking he's holding got an you're like what the fuck and then he just like turns and shoots the mirror shoot the mayor. I love. i've said this before. And i say this every time an object is shot..

"We've been following a very clear coaching framework, right that digs deep into each aspect, required to achieve success. Yeah, and, and that's something which you've been using for what decades? Yeah. Yeah. It's kind of you to not point out how old I am, but nearly thirty years. I always think we may grow through our pain only when we go through our pain. So we have to go back and look at what went wrong and what I learned. What's it teaching me, even when you know life throws us something that doesn't feel like it's really well. I always think well, it's either a lesson, a blessing or both and if it's not feeling like a blessing then I need to go and have a look at what lesson is that? I'm there to learn because if not life will repeat the birth. And until I learn it. So actually it's better to go and have a look at it and say, what am I learning? What did I do? That was perhaps put me on this path and can I tweak it? And we need to remember that, you know, diamonds. Just rocks that did really well under pressure. So if we spare that in mind, then when things are getting is down, we just think I'm going to come out the other side of diamond. Yeah, very much. So. So when it comes to this grow coaching model, right, you know, if anyone wants to go and grab more information on that if you're a coach or a corporate leader or someone that's sort of a bit stage in your career. You can go to a league coaches club.com and whilst it does say it's for coaches. Actually it is applicable to everybody. If you want to coach yourself or coach, your team or foul, your clients is perfect. So go and grab that. But in terms of the grow model, Kim, do you want to just share a bit about what that entails, of course? So I've been using growth, four years. In fact, I even took my little girl, when we're trying to get ready for nursery..

"To do is take one objective across a variety of people so across their virtual team and say, we're trying to achieve the same goal, but as an example, how Kim contribute towards that goal is very different to how now contributes towards that goal. So, we've got the same objective but we've got different key results in how we're going to achieve it. If we look at smart smartest saying, actually, when we think about our goal, we need to be specific about what it is. We need to be able to measure it. We need to make sure it's attainable that actually we stand a chance to get in there. We know what steps were going to take off. Has to be realistic. And within that, what we mean is have we got the time, the knowledge, the resources is it in budget, are we actually setting ourselves up for failure? And then that it's time-bound. We know when we're going to attempt to deliver it by and that can keep us on track. But I think whichever one of those models, you use the bits that are really important are gaining that priority being really honest about where you're going and being very honest about where you're starting from because if you're not really clear on both of those, you're not really setting yourself up for success and then the key to all success in my opinion, just keep talking about it. If we write these goals and we put them in a drawer and we only get around to discussing them with with ourselves with our people when it's mid-year or end-of-year. We don't stock a good chance to actually delivering them. They need to be some think that is real. That is used all of the time. There is part of our everyday conversation, not in a dead. Hello. Now, here's my list of objectives for you this morning. What have you got to? But just in that piece, it's going, you know, we do it with these, these reflections of the week, which is to reflect on, where did we want to get to a week and how? Well, if we did which bits have gone well, and which bits haven't gone..

"Competition. Let's go other azn's so you stay in the field. I stay in the field. And i see my world starts acting in front of man. I'm like oh no what's happening. And all of a sudden he goes like you know like those old school. Tv's when you turn off and just go boom. It was like that and then reality when dark black. And i was cold and i was like oh i'm dead and i i i i knew i was dead. You know what i mean like. I knew that like i personally didn't exist anymore. You had an ego death by the way the opening line of this book which you should read. It's called the immortality is if you die before you die. You won't die when you die. So the whole i understand that yeah i understand everything so it was because you survived death. Peter i died. Who died i you. It's a mitzvah. It's the luckiest thing that could have happened has happened. I haven't had an ego death. No okay double. Acid on l. toyed. Let me tell you when you went into the cold dark place and what is your brain you panicking or you do not like. He's piece. complete peace cold. Look at the universe loving you. Yeah it was like it's okay. Holy shit you're dead. It's okay and you're like okay and then right when i was like okay when that that that that that that the and it opened back up again and i could see here and i was like my brain was alive or whatever the my soul and ever since that an end the whole night was fucked up but like fucked up bad he he. I was like wandering into different tans and people are like have some tea and rubbing my back. That sounds perfect. It was great was tripping for twelve hours after that. That's the tricky thing about it. So long i want just like a emt style quick although on the time stop so it's not really quick not quick but it is correct. You don't have to spend the whole night. You come back and you can still go golfing. Eat but you've never done that. Not the mta. You know I would like to try. I'm very open to all types of psychedelics. Yeah i love mushrooms. lsd really helps me it's like exactly what you said about your friends book like. I'm no longer scared of dying. I love it. Because i understand that it's peaceful. You got the gift you got it. That's that's the thing that's the whole give. I didn't know give humans to me. What one of around us up on the wall and one of the things that he teaches like jesus is trying to okay. So i'm going to say to quotes. They're both religious. Forgive me but richard. Roy says jesus come to change our mind about. Didn't come to change. God's mind about us like make make odd not like not hate us. Jesus died to change our mind about god meaning and this is rhonda is going look. I'll show you. It's no big deal. You can dis. i'll do it. It's a scary thing. I'll let them crucify me. It's fine he and the resurrection whether or not it's literally just showing you like relaxed. This is the pattern of the cosmos. Jesus you everything is dying and being born again. Look around you. Yeah yeah. that's there's scientific. It's everything is cycle and you are a part of it. You're not a separate thing walking through it you are at and there's nowhere to go no fucking double acid outweighed went. Hey look peter. I'll stop it. Yeah and then you go but you're still here because we're could life itself go. Life has no opposite. The opposite of death is birth out. That's interesting. I never thought of equatorial baby. Life is oh and that's and that's always name he says i am that i am. I am nece and you are. Ms amnesty listening to me right now. Low you're aware. Yeah so you are a piece of the divine and that doesn't go anywhere. peter does. Who cares who had that you went here. Look i'll turn off. Peter and it was so it was so cool to and it was the first time i thought. Oh the collective consciousness soul exists. Yeah of this husk. It's what i've asked you got your house all that trauma all that stuff. Yeah but again. Richard roy says people that have got encounters always meet a lover. Not a not a tormentor. That's you know like an authentic got experience. It's your ego superego. Your parents voices. That are torturing you and tearing you apart that's you and the real divine stuff is like it's playing with you. It's saying have some tea and roping your back. Yeah just have some fun fucking a together sometimes on acid rain acid. I've never smoked dnc. But like i know. If i do and when i do i'll spend the rest of my life having moments like this going. Wait a minute. I did smoke and i'm about to come out of it. Yeah you're really. I gotta get to the podcast. You're already doing it. I'm so glad you found that. Thank you Because because of your religious trauma yeah it can in my experience it can be so healing to have like a genuine spiritual experience. It was just for you. Yeah we wasn't taught to. You wasn't explained to you but you had it happen. Thank god those. Azn's left me get those data here. I don't need them in their contemporary damn. I do love contemporary praised music. Though i don't want to. But i always get tricked. Who who can. Oh okay we gotta go gotta go. I don't wanna go. We covered everything delight your delight. Get the fuck over your cell funny. I mean you gotta get this you gotta get. The movie made the peter kim. It's coming and are you doing. Tv thing i am. I've been developed right now. Great yeah so best of luck. "Went from like ten people at the show to lines out the door. Like hundreds of people overnight. Jesus yelp me yes please. Jesus so it was like an overnight success and i immediately became like this is not real. I'm not that good. We're not that good. What the fuck is this. So i just started growing growing with classes and shows and more shows and more shows and i was like i can't inside handed the company over to a friend and i was like i need to go to chicago. I'm gonna quit my job. And i'm going to go to chicago to see if i really can do this. Wow so i moved to chicago when i was thirty in two thousand twelve. Quit my job. Stead goodbye to the career. Whoa yeah i took off the you sign the contract to quit with your mother's tears. Your mom took all her bags. Of course. I was like i really want. This is brave gamble. Chatman crossing over so many threshold counties. Quit i quit. Chicago enrolled in. Io and out we have a lot of similarity instead. He did chicago too. I did yeah. I just different order. I just went there. I oh right right. Yeah so i did. all that. And i started touring with second city and then did their resonance stage and you know. Yeah that's right and then after a while when you said you used to fly to new york to sending. I used to fly to chicago just to watch the second city shows from boston from boss when i was twenty two twenty one actually and who was on stage then i remember kevin dorf was in it. Okay remember a rich towel grove. Okay rich town grove which towery grow rich peste tell rico tele rico rico for him oh yeah obsessed with rico and he went to mad. Tv as a writer. I think because. I was really interested in his career because when i watched him i'd stay in that improvise at midnight and all that stuff i was. I bought shoes like him. Like i had a real real age on him. He was your comedy hero. He was my comedy hero because he kind of goofy looking not super goofy looking but i could see myself in small but so funny i still remember some of the things he said became things that i would say. Just be funny. One of them was he was improvising. And when and then a fifty. Foot jesus laser beam is just my whole life. I've said fifty. I'm sure there's me saying it on the spot. I got it from him. Singing like one improv song. When he said a fifty foot jesus with laser beam is just lost it now. Because we're in comedy. I'm like that's not like the craziest line in the world but i couldn't believe it came out of human beings face. I saw an interesting thing that you left. Atc because you were being heckled and is that right. Yeah it was which was another heartbreaker he. I mean it was right when god was twenty. Fifteen into two thousand sixteen. When like mago was really raring its ugly head and people were like crossing you know how in theater like or even stand up if someone grabs you from the audience. That's like a no. No you know like worse touching you like it wasn't just heckling. It was like they were treating us like objects and our hatching. Yeah i like not on the face but like on the ass like i. I know what you mean. I'm only saying this to relate the times. When i would do like a like meet and greet after a show. I remember these bikers. Came up to me and i had a lot of bits about lake. I'm not Like i had a bit about how. I like to stand like a pregnant woman and how everybody thought i was gay because i stood that way i was like i'm not having sex with women and standing like this about the same there so they're all kind of like i don't know what do you call them but they're not like standard straight guy jokingly like in that more inclusive and because of that like bikers would grab my dick. Yeah so. I'm smiling for picture. Some guy in a leather vest is grabbing my dick. And i'm like what the fuck shit she's like that because you're playing gay characters are like reading gay talking you're trying to dominate your like emasculate. You that's right. Yeah this guy is the representative of that type of thinking and look. I can grab dick. Yeah and i did the first. I was the first asian men on stage at second city in sixty one years well so it was already crazy. Well and there was a lot of stuff like organizationally. It's like this happens. A lot in hollywood and other places. Institutionally where they're like we're liberal people. We want to do well but they ended up doing the least possible. And they're like odds too hard like for example like my understudy was a white kid name. I forget what his name was but he was like a chicago white. Dude kim peter. I not cool guys personnel. You had to go in the yellow pages for that one out. Okay i like not just me like we had two black women on our cats and they were like we don't know any black woman. So can you find your own understudies. Like to the south side and just find. Some doubt literally came out of producers. And when they're saying that this is a horrible part. Pete is that they thought they were doing the right thing right so it's like because they've never had us in their building right. They're like oh you're being too difficult like our white men. Don't complain like yeah. You have twenty under studies for them so he can be sick whenever he wants. So it's like little stuff like that where it's like oh it's definitely not equitable and we started complaining and there were like shut up. Stop complaining and then it was a lot. Were there any sketches where you were playing like someone with a heavy korean accent that the white nine to step in and be like. I guess i can do this now. No not not in an accent. But i was doing like a scene called drag where i was like getting in it was lights up on me like finishing up my makeup and i was in full drag and i was like. It's it's time to go out to to my birthday. And then the scene is about a straight white guy going trying to like dress up as a joke and me saying like that sucks and now as the scene. But because i'm in dragon like full. Like i have a wrap dress on and everything and like people would yell like fag it and like shit like that from from the audience and who bought a tick what a ticket and the house managers would never deal with them or really ever like in. Stand up. I feel like because we have a microphone and because we have we don't have that fourth wall. Yeah you could address someone directly. That's right and then get the audience to like get on your side. Yeah you know and just kind of like heckle waiting if you're stuck in a piece. Yeah you're doing scene work. What are you gonna do. I can't just break that scene and go like yo. Shut the fuck up. And there was one point where i looked out to the audience and there was that can improve the improv games in the couch. Them pro games so be like sarah. What's something that annoys you. Whatever what's something that was small that annoys you and we'll take that and do a thing. Sure this guy was sitting next to a mexican couple sitting too close to a mexican. And i was like you know what fuck you and told house manager like kicked us fucker out. Get the fuck outta here and the house manager literally looks at me and goes and just shrugs he shrugged you got. I got shrugged. When i literally broke the fourth wall and set kick this guy out and because the mexican couple next time. We're like so like and not feel. And i'm like what the fugger making them feel horrible in a comedy show and this guy's like fucking drunk on a saturday afternoon so lagman car. That was the last straw for me where i was like. Oh you're not treating us equally and you're not even listening to us when we ask for help so i can't keep working here and expect different. You know a response from you and the whole show ended up blowing up. And we're not even in the fiftieth anniversary book. Like they took us out really. Oh god it's so sorry. It sucks for.

"Still out like i always say he will return anybody to panic accents. Best wishes to you guys. Send your best wishes back to him as well. So the bt awards for this weekend a few days ago. I should say and there's there's so many things don't pack from that right from low now's x performance which i thought was dope Two cardi b. revealing that she's pregnant again too. Apparently dern dj callous performance of zones whenever the bay became and meghan left stage because right. now they're having some issues Seeing eye to eye but the one thing that stuck out to me. Dj envy was in doing artist interviews on the break carpet. Any of you little kim and he asked her straight up like what is one person you would do it versus with because it's so many different female artists and you know you. You're you being legend. Like who would you want to go against. Little became immediately said nicky licking manashe. And that was interesting to me because one. If you know anything about little. Kim they look him in nick. Moniz don't have the best history in the beginning of nicotine. Artists career Lil kim in her cordial because from my understanding Baby a birdman. The ceo kashmiri records. Who'd a nickname designed to And also i think fending let me take this back. Yeah no birdman. He was cool little came in. He tried his best to linked up together because he felt like you know. Nikki mirrored a lot of little kim's styles and In legacy so he wanted to get this together. Didn't really and i think from there this something happened where they just didn't say. Stop getting along. Nikki through shots added luke him through shot on records so to hear her say like yeah i would do it. Versa knowledge is. Would that would be almost to me as big as gucci and jay z. Did at greenwich gucci. Gd you know. Their issue was more rooted in the streets Little nicky just don't see eye. Just one of those agree disagree type things but the fact that little kim would be able to step in the room with nikki says a lot. My thing would. I don't think nikki menaj would do it. and again. I don't have a problem with anybody Not you know doing a vs marriage. Obliged said she doesn't feel like she needs to do one. And i mean i respect it but i do think that nikki wouldn't do it. I think nikki is one of those people who's like i don't need to. I need to go out here and prove my legacy by going and get somebody else. I just wanna see it because regard no matter how much nikki does and how great she is. Nicki minaj to me is the greatest. Female rapper lyrically little. Kim's the best female rapper. Well timing terminal total package. But i think lyrically nicotine is the best female rapper. Well time but them together to see nikki. Nikki's legacies tattle of kim. Because so much of what. She wasn't a beginning and kinda still listed this day. Is what little kim already did. Little kim made the female rapper. Become the supermodel as well. She made it to where you can also walk on runways in pairs and also come back to brooklyn and be hardcore. Rapper lil kim start at their drian. Foxy also was play to be partners wilbur. I feel a little. Kim was the blueprint for that. And now you see the nicki minaj wearing designer. And all this other stuff and looking like models So it'd be dope to see them on the same stage together performing the songs the only thing about it would be a lot of little kim fans people who really appreciate understand what she meant to. The culture will be people closer to my age or older. Because that's kim's rain was and i think people may be younger than me would would side more nikki. Because nikki's rain was more recent In that is the unfortunate aspect of it when many freshman scott storch win against each other On their verses it became over regional thing everybody from south first one. 'cause i but with all the cash money hits Early on and has got stores of course produce the big pop hits so it was more reasonable thing and i think it'd be the same thing nikki and kim. Unfortunately so i think it would just it would just be necessary are interesting because of who they are to each other and how that legacy so tied even though they have no type of relationship now from what my understanding i and they aren't on the same page. There legacy the so intertwined is to me is kind of like toni. Braxton anita baker. they wouldn't be a good vs because toni braxton's career was obviously surpassing the baker's but there's an argument that there wouldn't be a toni braxton. I need a baker. The singing cadence is almost exact. Same and also songs that blue toni. Braxton up on boomerang soundtrack twenty record those as references for anita baker so their legacies are intertwined in a sense Versus wouldn't prove that point because once again tony shot way past anita baker But with little cam in nikki because they nicotine asking it could be argued. She's like a little kim two point. Oh it will be dope to see them. You know to see those legacies together at the same time into see how different they are and also what makes them to sane and just for the culture you know female rap right now in my opinion the most populous everything so many different types of female rapper. So many different types of styles that are out there as opposed to twenty years ago. You had maybe one or two that we're getting all the attention So it'd be good to see these two people who helped pave the way for so many female rappers of today on the same state would be very though..
