"Notice what it feel, what a sensation is. And an anchor it in that part of your body none shade a question, notice the feeling, notice the sensation, notice that part of your body. Notice the feeling, the sensation, that part of your body, the question, and stay with this. For another 30 to 60 seconds. Notice the feeling, the sensation, the location, the question. I really anchor it in that specific place in your body, the feeling, the sensation, the question. What we're now going to do is we're going to hold them together.

"From a courageous and a very generous place in you. Since into your heart and how you opened up and how you asked this courageous question, which is also a moment of self love. Self care. Noticing your heart, just moment of self love, courage, vulnerability of asking, and what does this heart space feel like? Notice that. Is there a temperature to it? If so, what is the specific temperature of it? And notice the sensation is a dense is it fluid? I should move. Nourish the heart with the specific feelings and the specific sensation..

"Dream is less likely to help and support. If you ask, for example, the question, what did my neighbor eat for dinner last night? Then most likely your dream is not gonna give you an answer to that. If you ask a question that is emotionally irrelevant to you, it helps you be a better human, contribute to your community in a more fundamental way or generous way. Or you have a question of medical nature, then the dream wants to help. So you might want to take a piece of paper and a pen so you can jot down some notes. If so, I hope that you are sitting in an enjoyable, gentle place. In any case, what we will do is get back to that space where you are really centered. If you start breathing in and out in a regular way. And what we will do again is reemphasize to the ancestors, the spirit guides, the helpers and the other world to help us in the world of dream. To be present, and what I will do is light a little candle, which I do now, I'm the beautiful light is there, and even if you are at a different time in a different space, these things do cross over time and space and also for you to Kindle burning, and I'll burn a little bit of paper that is herb that comes from South Africa, where I was born, and she being used by the indigenous healers to bring in the support of ancestors and spirit guides. So on your behalf, I'll invite your supportive helpers the large mystery to be present. It's burning now for you. And continue to sense in to your body. Notice your shoulders. Notice the.

"Out of your arms, the trunk of your body, your legs, and when you do that, you can notice that your consciousness is already shifting a little bit. You are more into here and now, and at the same time you become more open. To the other world, the other world, that communicates through intuitions, inspiration, images, with every breath you start noticing that you become more and more relaxed. And.

"Let me share the story of Michelle, who did this technique. Michelle is a life coach is about 40 years old and loves yoga and sometimes also asked it to roll cards for some questions. She had learned this technique in a workshop I done several years ago in New York. And she had been struggling for a while with acid reflux. So she decides to ask her dream a question before she goes to bed and she asks dream what will help relieve and heal this acid reflux that I am experiencing. Michelle told me, when I woke up, I had the following dream. I am walking on the side of a street and I see a woman. The woman waves at me and asked me to come over. The woman tells me you should try catnip. I'm baffled and confused and I think kidnap. You want me to eat cat food? Is this woman serious? So in the dream I held back and then I noticed that I wake up and I write down the dream should I remember it also later in the day. Then after she wrote down the dream she looked up catnip and she found out that catnip actually to her own surprise was a plant that can be dried into a T and that helps babies with their tummy issues and as it reflux. It's supposedly a really effective treatment. So she orders the plant, makes the tea, drinks it for several weeks, and then reports that her acid reflux problems are totally gone. She loves the dream, and I love the dream too, because it gives such a specific guidance for a problem that she has. That will be very hard to otherwise figure out. She consulted the inner doctor the inner wisdom for a problem that was really relevant to her life, and then got a guiding answer. Now we're going to start our own dream journey. And it's first, what we're going to do is invite the world of dream to be present. We'll do a little ritual. A ritual is a way to invite the other world world of dream and its inhabitants to be present. To be present in the activity that we're undertaking. A ritual is a way to grind this reality. To grind it open so that the consciousness of the other world, the dream world can flow into this world. A ritual is a way in which we notice and know that the other world is actually present in the here and now. And then we start noticing and experiencing that our undertaking is a gathering. It's us together with the other world with the helpers to guide the ancestors. They are all joining up, so our dream work becomes teamwork. We're not alone in this enterprise. And you start noticing that something is lifting you up because you are confronting something in your life that is really irrelevant and important. A ritual has a starting point. And for us, let's make this starting point a way of centering ourselves. We start noticing the way you are briefing. The way you currently sit and then start briefing regularly, regularly in and out, and start breathing all the way from your belly. And you start slowing down and is slowing down is actually an opening up. And while you do this, regular breathing, notice your body,.

"So calling in Carson City, Nevada. So you came here from South that were that was apartheid days. 1979. All right. What brought you here? Um I just Well, I don't know much about South African history. There was the shot will massacre in 1960. There was the Soweto riots in 1976. So I didn't know I was born in England, actually, and I didn't want to go back to England, so I applied to come to the United States. Wow and took two years, but you wanted to come here. I did? Yes. So when you got here, was it everything you thought it would be? Not initially because I was in Southern California, Los Angeles on guard Now, that was tough, but I finally got I fucked. I'm a chemical engineer. I finally got employment. And I've had employment ever since. I don't want it to sound corny. I'm in my life seventies. I still work because It's a privilege to be in the U. S. To be able to work. There aren't many places in this plant on this planet where you get opportunities over 70 years old from what I understand. Like If I'd have stayed in England, you're on the scrapheap. 55 0. My gosh. So it's a privilege to be here on. It's a privilege to keep working, so I don't have to be dependent on the federal and state government. What do you make? What do you make of the people that are sneaking across the border? The illegals they come in? They skipped the system and just come in. I think they should go back to the city by they came from and do what I did file the papers and come in legally. But it takes time and it takes money. Absolutely Yeah. By the way, still on the subject of South Africa. Um I tried to call you when we were talking about the the black people that were shooting each other in Chicago. Right. I was on projects in South Africa, where Different tests had different tribes. I couldn't understand. This is the first the first but you would have Lulu's do it doing part work direction. Would have causes doing civil works. And then you have Shang guns loading catalyst. And I'd say why. Why do you keep the tribe separate? And they said faction fighting If I put a Zulu in with a bunch of causes, they kill him. I I've never been there. But I've heard it sounds It sounds like a beautiful country. But I've also I've also been told that The crime rate there. Is enormous that there's a lot of shootings in South Africa. I don't know if that's just a rumor, innuendo or whether it's true because I've also heard people in other countries think that's what goes on here in the U. S. For movies. Um is the crime where is the crime out of control in South Africa? What happened? We had these things called Pass laws. I'm a white person. But I've got a pash. If I ever meet you tell me I'll show you my past from South Africa and if you and you had to carry your pass, and if you didn't They send you to the border. Whether you have black colored or Indian, they wouldn't tolerate illegal immigration. Well when Frederik de Klerk let Nelson Mandela out of Robben Island. He repealed the pass laws. So we got all these hardened criminals from the Nigerian Civil War, the Angolan civil war they just descended on South Africa. And the security business went exponential because people I went back on the Global House website and looked at my house. It was an open plan house like California Now is a huge wall and Bob Way. Oh, boy. Yeah, I've heard some some tough stories coming out of that part of the world. Calling. I appreciate the call, but I've got a I've got a take, Um How does it change Subjects if I if I can, But I do appreciate very much. Your call from Carson City. The subject is Basically today's MLK Jr Day. And ah, lot of the normal Celebrations, and all of those activities are not taking place because of Go, Vid. And in Washington, D. C. Where the memorial is it's behind the security fence. So a lot of those kinds of things are Are not doable today. But it's on this day. When We take a look at his life. This is his birthday. The he was killed in April of 1968. He was in Memphis. Basically give support to the garbage haulers were striking for Decent pay. And so he was there and the night before. He went to, um The night the night before he was killed. He wasn't feeling well fact he was feeling pretty sick. But a group had asked him to come over and speak at the Mason Temple. In Memphis, Tennessee. He did not have any prepared notes. He did not have any Any plan to do this, and as a result, he was rather late getting there. When he got there, He talked literally off the top of his head. An impromptu speech. And it's one of the most famous speeches that he has ever given in its airy Because he listened to him predicting his death..

She's been working towards naturalization for 20 years. She brought her sister and niece along with her. She didn't think her ceremony would be quite like this on a very different man in these conditions, but as an excited also, she was happy to finally be able to do the ceremony before she had to renew her residency. I was thinking that my car was fire, so I was going to Good again. Immigration officers have had to play catch up for the three months that there were no ceremonies and Golden Hall Madeline Kristoff is the field officer for San Diego. So Golden Hall is a great ceremony. But this makes it a lot more personal almost into the officers get to participate in ways that they normally don't get Golden Hall and it's really fun being able to talk to people as they're driving through and get to hear a little bit of their stories. We gotta interview right before they're sent down. And I didn't know if I was going to be able to vote, which ultimately is an important part of why I want to become citizens. So I'm glad that they're making those efforts inside of a regular naturalization ceremony. Voter registration booths greet people as they exit Have to drive through. There were no boots to be found. W. de Klerk stood up in parliament and announced the beginning of the dismantling of apartheid the steps that are being decide at all the following the pending order owned and soon as a political organizations in ascending order he was well actually outside on that day when she defied your banning Wilder and you've gone to lead this big protest which was of course highly illegal and while the president was talking inside it's very very rare to have a demonstration of that sort anywhere in the world at any time in history where you you're making the mantra principal demands on banning of the agency and the release of Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners and as you are marching the regene announces that it's giving into those two months than in the middle of March defiant illegal activity what I was doing suddenly stopped being illegal still didn't see when Nelson Mandela would.

"Keeping is inside I reassessed our game board closet you still have one I never knew we handle I'm not Jennifer I don't play as if the nesters real Hey game boards together but I've played more game boards and then quit I can't remember all the names of the games we played with the grandkids well we were basically locked inside what rain for two weeks nice great great so it was kind of a re introduction to clutter when I say that we have these two tall linen cabinets in the laundry room open the doors in Alanya Avenue at all that well it was kind of a strike two against Rosie Romero because we've been in our house over thirty years and I think it's time for me to bill Jennifer all so we completing selling our house and the religion of choice my trusted confidante in the industry walks in the property I consider him a good friend since well everything looks good but Rosenberger really have to de clutter this place and you walk in my house and I don't think it's cluttered it all these are all memento so we've brought in a special to a specialist in de cluttering a de Klerk coach the founder and president of happy hold organizer's miss Rachel winner Rachel thanks for coming in to help helping me through this and helping our listeners through this top of the year re assessment good morning good morning thank you for having me well you brought up a good point in of you should know where everything lives you if you knew where the games for maybe the plane more that's the whole point I want you to know we're everything lives yes and in your background how how do you become a D. clar coat yeah well I I fell into it I my background is recreation management my college degrees and recreation and hospitality and my background is cruise ships I used to run the youth and teen program for Norwegian cruise line and I bring my love of people and recreation to home organizing one day I in two thousand twelve so I used to own a children's indoor play space my background working with kids working back in Connecticut hi to big business close my business after five years was very depressed learn what really felt with depression was all about and one night couldn't sleep and I was flipping through the channels on TV and I stumbled upon the TV show hoarders on a any the show hoarders and that was a life changing moment I'll never forget the feeling of seeing the term professional organizer on TV for the first time and I was riveted I mean I was fascinated shocked a little bit couldn't believe what I was saying I never been an awarding home before so the TV show hoarders truly changed my life and I had gone to my mother in law's house a few days later I went to get a coffee pot from her basement and beautiful gorgeous home but her basement was cluttered and I have eyes in my old boy let me help you so by watching the TV show hoarders one night on a any and how my mother in law find coffee pot her basement I fell into de cluttering and organizing got a job I can Connecticut work for them for a year specialized in hoarding and I fell in love with the whole organizing industry well yeah I know the Norwegian cruise lines are big big boats but but there's nothing that will teach you appreciation of space more than living on a boat that's I mean every single nook and cranny has to have something important without having one thing extra you just don't have the room for you I and I was station for five months I did five month contracts so you're only I was limited to what I could bring for five months you know two suitcases that's it two suitcases very small cabin and it's amazing we don't need a lot of stuff two way when you go on vacation you got a hotel people love it because you only you know you use what you bring and you we don't we don't really need a whole lot well it teaches you the value of space and and the the downside to having more than you need exactly most people are just drowning they're drowning on with clutter and they most of my clients to find me again they have to find me I I can't find my clients so by the time people find me usually they're they're out they're fed up point they reached in on they're fed up point and they they're paralyzed at lot of them are crying they're so emotional when they you know call me is the the emails I get text I get and they're overwhelmed they're completely stressed out they don't know where to turn it on you know even know how to begin so they call me and my job is to lift them out of the muck the mud of clutter and and you don't have to be a hoarder too and I don't know I don't know what parameters you used to actually define someone as order but you don't have to be order to benefit from increased organization absolutely hoarding it is another whole level another whole level most people to suffer with clutter or chronic clutter and everybody has it by the way I mean I'm a professional organizer I am very proud of of how I live in my home but you know what we don't live in museums I don't live in a museum our homes are not supposed to be perfect at all times I think a lot of people put too much pressure on themselves that the home has to be perfect at all times no but we always have to ask ourselves how do we want to live you know we want to have friends over we want to have family over we don't want to you know life is so.
