"Not. There's something it feels as I smash brothers like a game. It is probably the closest I've ever played, but there's just like one or two things that feel off. Like it feels like I'm just whiffing everything I hit or it's not a bad game by any means. Whatsoever. I think it's actually a very fun, very good video game, but it's not quite there. And I think it's one of the situations of if you come at the king, you better not miss because I feel like I feel like unless they really, really hit something huge. Like some big breakthrough happens, this is a game that might disappear in like a year or two and then probably will never come back after that. We'll see, man, I feel like the success is having right now. Like there was definitely an appeal to a mainstream that these crossover games either hit right in the beginning or totally missed and I feel like this one's hitting so far. I'm rooting for it. I'm hoping that, you know, the iron out some of the kinks I know we've been talking about a whole bunch of stories on the show about like them changing the hit box hurt box stuff and like working on the balance of some things. I hope that a couple months from now I play it and I'm like, oh man, it feels right now. Like they did it, you know? And I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. Like they're listening to the feedback and taking it in and I want this game to succeed more than anything because I feel like we're not going to get another smash for a long time if ever we will eventually. But I love this type of stuff and I was saying this last week but it's like I am really sad that smash brothers ultimate doesn't have the type of daily challenges and things that this game has. Like that would be awesome. But yeah, I guess I am more paranoid about it, but they are being way like way more reactive to the audience and to the fighting game aspect of it than smash brothers ever was. So maybe that's the angle for it. Maybe that's the avenue is if you want a nice match for this game that actually takes the fighting aspect of it very seriously. This is that. But on the other hand, I don't know, you reveal two new characters today in my responses. I've seen enough Black Adam. Like maybe that's not the most exciting avenue for this, but we'll see. I'm hoping that it will grow and actually become a thing that can stand toe to toe. Totally. I think that in order for the game to majorly succeed in the future and for a long term, is it's gonna have to ride the wave of promotion of other things like Black Adam and then get weird like this character from gremlins and I feel like it's not balanced necessary to like just say, yeah, let's keep going and like I'm okay getting the black atoms that like I'm with you I don't really care about. But if that allows them to get a little bit more weird with other characters and then eventually two years from now we're gonna look at this roster screen and be like, how is this real? Like, I'm hopeful for that. I mean, we got LeBron James, you know? Yeah. I'm hopeful for more crowd blazing characters 'cause that brings in more new players who have never played this game before. And that's where I had the most fun is beating them down. There you go. There you go. The Imran's special. Well, they're bringing in a whole bunch of more nerdy characters. Might be so far away. "He hails from those parts as well. Andy, how's the show going, by the way? This is always a dangerous question to ask live on the air, but how's the show going in Wichita? Oh, I absolutely love it. Everybody loves that we get phone calls all the time with your program on here. We are static to have you out here. I know that you're about ready to go on a book tour this fall as well too. We want to get you out here to witch talk because everybody's thoroughly enjoying it. Oh, look, yeah, we're coming to Wichita. You guys have a great restaurant scene, love the downtown that river, the river that goes is that the Arkansas, what river goes through? Yeah, it is not the Arkansas is the Arkansas river. You folks in Wichita, you can't just call it Arkansas river. You got to be highfalutin. I came from Colorado. They taught me pretty quick when I said that wrong on the radio a couple of times. But no, Andy, it is the Arkansas river. All right. Andy, when I was anchoring the news in Sacramento at KFB, we had a very large listenership over in the Reno area and I made the mistake once of calling it Nevada and the phones lit up. It's not bad a redneck. I tell you gotta get that lingo down in the area. They take it personally. What can you say? I don't know. All right, well, Andy appreciate the info and the update there and let's hope they can get it right the next go around. We're working on it from what I've heard legislators are working on a new bill to try and put some type of counter against the Supreme Court and we could potentially see another constitutional amendment on the bill by 2024. All right, Andy, who's your ladies and gentlemen from KQ a.m. the big talker in Wichita Kansas, Andy, thanks a lot. Appreciate it, my friend. All right, folks, we've got to take quick break here, pay some bills, 8 four four 747 88 68 cents or a toll free telephone number that's 8 four four, 747 88 68. This is the Todd show. I almost forgot what city we were in, grace. It's one of those days. You people at Memphis, Tennessee, go vote. Big election today and my understanding of the flagship radio station kwa wall to wall live coverage and they're going to have reporters out there at the campaign headquarters starting about 7 o'clock central time when the polls close and the rest of you folks pray for Memphis. I mean, this is a big deal here. If the Republicans can maintain control of the district attorney's office, we might be able to do something about the crime in this city. So anyway, there you go. Tomorrow, I will be in Dallas, Texas, I'll be leading an hour long panel discussion with, among other people, while moms for liberty is going to be doing a segment with me and then the governor of. The governor of Oklahoma, Kevin stet, he and I are going to be kicking things off, so it'll be it's going to be a lot of fun. But we will have a guest host tomorrow. I'll be calling into the show at some point. But our good friend Steve gill, a great radio host is going to be filling in and you're going to enjoy Steve as he broadcast actually coming to Memphis, so he'll be broadcasting from our palatial studios here. So that is tomorrow. Oh, grace baker, this is great news. And I am actually a fan of the choco taco, and I was very disappointed to hear that they were going to discontinue the choco taco. I know it's a classic. I don't know why they were like, yep, time to get rid of it. So for the for the uninformed, it's basically an ice cream sandwich that is shaped like a taco. Yes. And it's got basically a cone is at the waffle cone. Yeah. That is shaped like the taco shell. It's got a topping. It's sort of ground beef, you got the vanilla. And then you got nuts on top of it. And then it's covered in chocolate. I love that. They kind of do that. Remember with the ice cream cone, it's like a waffle cone frozen cone and it's got the one dollop of ice cream. And then it's covered in chocolate with the nuts. It's delicious. So anyway, no, no, no, people went bonkers over this when they found out. I mean, I was following it on social media and people were really disappointed..

"88 68 that is the number to call here in our beautiful Liberty University studios. Todd starns dot com is our website, by the way. Many of you have asked about our prey for Ukraine shirts and those are available right now over on the website. Just click on the store app and it'll take you to the prey for Ukraine shirts and I want to encourage you to get a couple or outfit the whole family and support our efforts to support the Ukrainians. So a story caught my eye the other day from back in back in Sacramento. Now many of you know that I worked at KFB K in Sacramento, which is where Rush Limbaugh launched his national program and to have a lot of friends in the Sacramento area. There's a story that's making national headlines about the sheriff. Who is pretty fed up with the local media, just like president Trump is disgusted with all the fake news coming out of the mainstream media these days. I want to go to the patriot mobile newsmaker line where honored to have Sacramento county sheriff Scott Jones, joining us today, sheriff, hope you're doing good. I'm doing very well. Thank you. It's great to be with you. And just good, good people in law enforcement there and had the honor of covering the police beat back in the day and just some of the finest law enforcement officers in the country are right there in Sacramento and Sacramento county. Yep, and that has not changed. That is still very true. Although the challenges are new and unique, every single year, it seems feeling great bunch of folks. So sheriff, I understand the Sacramento bee invited you to participate in an endorsement interview. You're running for the third congressional district there in California. And I'm curious to know what happened. Well, first of all, it didn't really actually come as a formal invite. It came as a calendar item, just in an email with a calendar event, which was followed up later with an email about a week later. Asked me to sit down with her editorial board for an interview for possible endorsement. Now, obviously, I've been sharing for three terms. I run for Congress in 2016, so I'm familiar with these processes. But and although I did get the endorsement of the stock I will be back in 2010 when I ran for sure, but first time it's a very different paper now as many papers across the country are it is just a tremendous the editorial section has taken over the entire page paper. The entire paper is basically one large editorial section. And we have we're media center. So we have media video media and printed media. And I sit down with them and obviously have a good relationship with them over the last 12 years this year up over a lot of different things. But the bee has not basically abandoned their journalistic integrity in favor of creating a narrative like so many newspapers have. And I just didn't want to be any part of it. And so I said, hey, thanks for the invite. Invite but no thanks, not only am I not going to participate in the process. I don't even want the endorsement of the Sacramento. Well, good for you. Good for you, sheriff, and I know that had to have triggered somebody over there at the Sacramento headquarters. Well, it seems like I triggered them quite a bit when I stand up to the madness that happens in the capital here against with this asinine public safety legislation and sanctuary state laws and things that I've stood up against for the last 12 years. Yes, they get triggered quite a bit for me and they just they resort to like everybody that doesn't have facts on their side. They resort to name calling and emotional appeals and how terrible I am and xenophobic. Same old story. It's nothing unique to me. But I've been attacked and still sleep like a baby every night. But the rest of the media here in Sacramento, I feel we get criticized when we deserve criticism, but they are fair. There's nothing nothing fair about the Sacramento bee. And I suspect I probably have more Facebook followers and they have subscribers anymore..

"Pinball freedom on switch pretty girls rivers on PS5, PS4 and switch, row 96, PS5, PS4, series S and Xbox One, rotund, rebound on switch, run the world in between on switch and PC, shooting star island on switch, sock venture on switch, tape, unveil the memories, PS4, PC, and 2D and top Jan switch. And just really quick, I washed out a couple of these because a lot of times when I read these lists, it's like a bunch of games that maybe I am not super familiar with because a lot of games come out that we never get the chance to play because time is limited. Nobody saves the world. I really loved. I know it was kind of mixed, I think, for some people. But I really, really enjoyed playing that earlier this year. I have that in my top ten games of the year currently. So I had a blast doing it on multiplayer. I think it also helps with some of the difficulty spikes. You can kind of cheat your way through things, but I found it super fun. Mixing and matching the abilities. You can be a slug that shoots arrows in that game. I feel like if that doesn't sell you, then maybe suffer you. 96, I also love that. I haven't finished it yet. I started playing on steam, so I'm wondering how to continue it out on there. But this is a procedurally generative narrative road trip game, which is super interesting, and I feel like this is said a lot for this genre, but it really does feel like you feel the weight of your choices. I think there's also a lot of lightness and beauty and then but also like darkness in that game in terms of just like what it's like in the world and what kind of problems the people you meet on the road might have. I think it also does a really good job exploring the grayness of morality. At one point, you're crossing the border and you're like, I hide underneath the truck, but you have to decide if you're going there or under a box, and then it's like, do I steal from this thing? Do I not? There's like a lot of little things like that, but also moments where you just sit down by a campfire and hear someone play a banjo or something while you're just like barely eating anything because you're on the road. So I really love that game and I feel like not enough people talked about it when it came out last year. Myself slightly included, I just didn't finish it so I couldn't say too much more to praise it. And then 2D and top D is one I beat last year on PC. It's coming to switch. I also did a review on it over on my site pen to pixels. I like this game a lot. If you like puzzle platformers, play this. It's awesome. My only beef with the game, really, is that the bosses are kind of insanely hard to me, but there's also difficulty where you can just like nerf your way through it by taking zero damage. So and that also helps if you could suck on puzzles because you could just decide, you know what? I'm not going to do this and I'm just going to walk through the obstacle instead of solving it. So I really think that that difficulty option helps both with kind of a balance issue I feel with the bosses and then also just like a puzzle issue that you might personally have playing it because we all get stuck on different things. So 2D and top D and then the weird shtick there is you're both 2D and 3D so like there's one character that's in 2D and one that's like top down 3D and you kind of work together to move objects and solve puzzles and all of it's like one screen kind of set up so you just move from like point a to point B and you know it starts out really simple and it scales up. So yeah, if that sounds interesting to you, I employ to go check it out that game's really cool. And then that's about all that we have. I do want to give a quick shout out to for reader mail on nano wrote in aka the nano biologist who y'all know if you rule here regularly, especially in the chat. And had this to write in. A success story from two days ago. On Tuesday, I went in to surgery for a labric sleeve gastrectomy. Aka got part of my stomach removed. This was a doctor recommended procedure to help me lose weight, something I've been struggling with for years. Tim shouted out, my Twitter post about me going in and let me just say, the love and support from all of the KFB apps, people I talk to in the Twitch chat daily, and those I've never met before was amazing. Thank you to the KFB apps for being so kind and supportive. You seriously helped me stay on track with all post-op requirements and to excel in my day one recovery. And back home now, safe and sound on my fiance, helping to take care of me during this first week, which when not on good meds feels like I did a four to 6 hour ab workout nonstop holy cow. This really is the best community on the planet. And yeah, just like shots of that. It's definitely something that I always keep track of too, because I follow nano and we've worked together a few times on TikTok and stuff. And yeah, I love that. The Internet's not always the best place. Obviously, it's part of humanity, which has its flaws, but it really means a lot to me when I can be part of a platform and a community where those connections can happen. I feel like even if only one or two or 2000, those are all super meaningful and I feel like it adds just so much additional value. Obviously I think there's value in talking about games like as an art and like a hobby and something that has been a part of my life since I was 5, but this honestly means so much more to me than that and that already means a lot. So thank you for writing in and sharing that positivity and I'm glad that us and other people in the chat could do that for you nano. So wishing you well and your recovery. Oh yeah, Matt, give those dogs some love for me, okay, now? And now as community turns, you're wrong. Let's see what they're yelling at. Okay. Perrie does a French word pronounced Perry Doe. I don't know if that's right, but I did read it, so we'll see. Okay, other things. Something about sora. I feel like we're just going to leave that alone. The ride that Janice think of universal also from nano, shout to nano still there, despite the recovery for Shrek 4D. It's now close. I thought it was, but then I honestly had really quick IP paranoia. I'm like, is that does that line up? And then what people will be like, how do you not know where Shrek is from? You know what I mean? And then I'm like, am I getting a gaslit by struck fans? I just didn't want to risk it. So, you know. From day one, okay? VHS. I've been there. I've been in it. Speaking of that, did you see yesterday that some members of.

"You have to assume that when you consider that corned beef and cabbage is the, you know, the culinary pillar, the culinary Pinnacle of Irish cooking. Well, I mean, hey, I like the good popular meal. It's pie. I like shepherd's pie. Do you like shepherd's piety like cottage pie? Shepherd's pie just go with a separate pie. I don't actually, I don't think I've ever had cottage pie. What's cottage pie? So if you actually want to get technical, shepherd's pie is actually made with lamb. Cottage pie is made with ground beef. I got you. I guess. Not a big difference. Well, we have, we have friends from Ireland. And one of the things that they criticize American cooking, the bastardized version of shepherds or cottage pie is that it's cooked relatively dry where in Ireland. It actually in England and other places in Europe, it comes with a pretty hearty gravy. That's it. Yeah, the ground beef for the ground lamb is in a sauce. Where I used to live down in Hollywood, Florida. There's a place there's probably about 15 minutes from my house called the field. And it's one of those really, it's like you walked into an Irish bar in Boston. It's dark, it's cool. It's got great shit on the wall and shells and they serve a shepherd's pie there that is, that's the real deal. Yeah. Deal, man. Well, it sounds like you have, don't forget, you have to save room, don't you have to eat something special tomorrow night? I do on my other live stream. Yeah. I'm eating a spam and miracle whip sandwich on white bread. So it's going to be brutal. I have to, I just have to law, but just a tiny, just a wee bit of criticism on that. And listen, after last week, my friend, I brutalized you because my brother told me to, you're more than welcome to lobby back. Look, look, my only comment about you, you know, live streaming with your king of Facebook and the king, whoever he is. Eating his spam sandwich with miracle whip on white bread. It's not that fucking far of a stretch for you, man. No, no, it's not. I'm actually eating right out of one show I did four, like you know the mashed potato spoons that the serving spoons, I did four of those full of mayonnaise. It was almost a half a jar of meat in it. Another time I covered a hot dog and probably, I don't know, two cups of ketchup. Yeah, but a nice white roll. You're passing this off as some type of a dare. For you, this is breakfast. This is lunch. This isn't much of a stretch. Now, now listen, if it were me doing that, and that's a bit more of a challenge. Yeah. You know, in the funny thing is, my blood work is perfect. It's literally perfect. My wife's my wife's a nurse practitioner. And she can't believe that my cholesterol is both good and bad. Perfect. Every level is perfect. She's like, it's gotta be the Celtic slash Viking blood. Yeah, but you know what? You're absolutely right. A lot of it has to do with your lineage, your heritage, your, you know, your family history. Yeah, yeah. So good stuff. Good stuff. Hey, before we start the show, before we start the show, I have a special thing I want to put up here. And I'm glad we got some viewers. This is not more hot sauce bullshit. No, no, no, this is. By the way, is there any room in the corned beef and cabbage fur? Great white hot sauce. No, no, no, no, no. I do not, I don't violate the sanctity of the corned beef and cabbage meal. I don't deviate. No. So Amanda, who does our introductions my happens to be my lovely talented, beautiful and intelligent young lady recorded this when she was 16 and right here in the KFB studio and I told her I was gonna play this tonight and she just like melted like no. So when she was 16 she's 18 now, I had her record a version of Danny boy. She has a very it's not you. No. I'm sorry. So I am going to play this. It's not her playing the piano. This was her music teacher center that the MP3 of her play in the piano. So we pulled it up on the screen here at the KFB studio and I just let her rip said, here we go, I set up the, although the sounds for all the levels. And well, here we go. Let's give it a go. Here's a minute. This one. This one goes out to you, Mark Flynn, and your dad. There we go. Oh,.

"All right, let's get to the phones here 844-747-8868 Randy and statesville North Carolina, listening to us, so wsi are great affiliates there. Hey, Randy, what's going on today? Todd, how you doing? I'm good thank you. Doing well with you. It is. Basically, I've got to get off the political thing for a little while. You hit the sweet spot for me on a.m. radio. And one of those kids grew up that the only band that my transistor radio got that I hid from my dad, when I was going to sleep, our head from school when I went to school was a.m.. And I grew up on nothing but all of my radios in all of my vehicles, the very first station on that radio is a.m.. Reason being is people like you first off. People like people think Los Angeles Southern California is a bunch of left wing wackos. Well, they haven't listened to KFI 6 40 Bill handel. Do that first thing in the morning. I will guarantee it's going to change your attitude 100%. A.m. radio is what made this nation and keeps this nation going. Then also one of the things that is most fun in the world is if you up really, really early and you have an older a.m. radio one that you got to twist the dial. Try just twisting the dial and listening and you'll find stations way out the other side of the country that you didn't even think that you didn't know about. For example, in Southern California, I used to get up at 3 o'clock 4 o'clock in the morning and I hit the road, but I would be listening to KT and in. But now the Navajo Nation up in the window with the window rock New Mexico. Keith, what was so exciting for me when I was when I was anchoring the news at a KFB in Sacramento, which by the way is where Rush Limbaugh launched his big national show. I would be anchoring the news. It was a 50,000 50,000 watt blowtorch. And at nighttime we would get callers from Alaska who were listing decay FPK and Sacramento, California. And I remember as a little boy growing up my dad got transferred down to New Orleans, so of course that's when I got my first transistor radio listened to WWL. There are New Orleans, great talk radio station, and Keith, I don't know if you ever did this at nighttime when those a.m. signals were just exploded and that's when I was first introduced to Bill Cunningham. We could actually get out of Cincinnati clear as a bell down a New Orleans Louisiana. Yep. It's called DX. If we do it in ham radio also, as we're listening to distant stations. And it is a lot of fun that on top of it, each one of those stations that you do here. If you just send them a little note, a little email that you've heard them at X amount of time in such and such a location. They really appreciated the right you back. Well, and not only that, but also in ladies and gentlemen, this is important for all of us to understand we are a.m. radio is in a fight, and it's important, we stay on the air thanks to our great sponsors and lots of your local radio stations have faithful sponsors to a.m. radio. It's important to let those people know, hey, heard your aunt, hey, I want to go and buy something because I heard about it on the a.m. radio station. That's an important thing to do. So but Randy, we appreciate you calling in and thanks for those great memories. Thank you very much. Rush lives on. Amy. All right, here here. Thanks, Randy. "Yo, what's up, welcome to kind of funny games daily for Wednesday, January 12th, 2022. I'm wondering how it's blessing at Yale a junior joining me is Times Square is very own. The nitro rifle himself twitch.tv slash Andy Cortez. Pleasure to be here with you bless. I'm I saw you tweet this morning about relationships aren't perfect in me undies. Okay, we're back. We're back. So I'm assuming our audio cut out. I was just talking about coffee, puts you in a state, unlike any other and I had my Starbucks this morning. I'm kind of getting more regular order. I got a vanilla something vanilla something with a bunch of cinnamon, and it's really tasty. I love the villain. Yeah, it's a vanilla hot one. And it's all here, I could read it. Grand BL DE, what does that stand for? BL DE bold blond. Blond. Blond. That's what it was. A blond vanilla latte, and I got cinnamon powder and almond milk. And one thing. You just take in risks every time you order Starbucks? No, no consistent order that you're scaring me, but well no, 'cause we talked about it before. I've more of an adventurer because I don't I never had a set thing. And I feel like this is the only thing I've ever felt said about in my life. And now I'm getting more and more consistent with it. And I think this is going to be the go to, Kevin. I think this is the one. It's wild how much coffee can turn around my day. Because I've had those days where usually if I'm not hosting a KFD, I don't fuck with the coffee just 'cause I don't need it. If I'm not on something at 10 a.m., or I'm not even, if I'm not prepping a show by 8 of them, I'm like I'm doing four KFD. I'm like, oh yeah, I'll just let the energy of the day bring me forward right by the time I'm on a show at noon. And what I realized is that those are my suckiest days. Like this morning, I was just hanging out, you know, doing my thing. I was sitting down, prepping a little bit of KFD. And then halfway through prepping, that's usually when I go and do my coffee run. Use this by like 8 39. I'm like, oh, cool. Let's take a break. Let's go on my coffee run. Let's get iced coffee with no cream cheese. You're driving? You drumming somewhere? I'm driving. Yep. I like driving because I like getting outside. It's an excuse to go outside, especially during the pandemic, right? I feel like I have less excuses and that flux with the amount of vitamins I'm getting from the sun, all that shit. And so I drive to the Starbucks that's in Safeway. And dude, I'm looking across these hell. Of course. Let me tell you, I had the thought this morning. Why don't you just drive to the actual Starbucks that's a block away from there? An extra block. It's an extra block. That's a lot. But. It can happen on the way there. I guess. I just like the idea of being in a real Star Wars versus the Safeway Starbucks. In the Safeway Starbucks know me at this point. That's the thing I have a rapport with the people there. But it's the thing of don't put much effort into how I look nowadays, 'cause I've given up, you know, before, in the before it is what I cared a little bit. I'll put on stocks. I'm not even putting on socks anymore. I like shit. I'm slipping on my sweater. I'm slipping on my shoes. Fuck the socks. And I'm walking in there and I had to thought this morning because there was somebody that was kind of like, I am a little bit. And I was like, what's up with this guy? And then my head, I was like, fuck, are they kind of funny best friend? And then I was like, fuck, are they a KFB F that's seeing me in this state? Where I just don't give a fuck about my past right now, because I'm just here for my coffee. And I thought all the way back, I was like, fuck, what have I done? I think not going. I think going sockless isn't even a, I don't care about my appearance. It's more of a, I don't care. That's a different level. I was not expecting the bare minimum to be, I don't even want to wear socks because that's a comfort thing. That feels gross to me. I can't do that. Effort of actually putting them on that you're just like, fuck that noise. I'm just trying to cut out as many steps in the processor. So I'm like, socks, fuck them, you know? Dude, I'll be wearing my pajamas shirt, and I'm like, I'll just throw a sweatshirt over this. I don't care. They're all even rock, the kind of funny jacket, which we'll call it. Have you thought about instead of going to just Starbucks? There's a coffee shop, not too far away from you. Why not just go there? Which one are you talking about? I mean, I don't want to give names. I don't know how you feel about that. No, I don't give a name. But I don't give an answer. It probably is one. Yeah. That is around me. I'm just not done the effort of figuring out..

Welcome into tomorrow about the new apple processor compared with the intel processor and whether we should be looking toward moving to these new apple processor if we're going to purchase a new mac book or sticking with the intel processor grateful for your insight well llc. It's our pleasure. I hope we can help. If you already have a mac book there's no rush to move the majority of apple computers still run intel processors such as they are and they'll be supported for a long while now. If you're buying now then yes go for apple's processor over any stock of machines with intel processors still floating around. You'll get better battery life. A chip made for what apple has in mind for the future. Better native support for mobile apps on desktops for example. And you're guaranteed support from apple for a long while. Now keep in mind that mac books or premium computers and like most other premium computers. They last a long time. You might as well future-proof as much as you can in terms of ensuring compatibility with new features later iterations of the operating system if you're a more technical user read up on the software you use. We're not aware of any programs not working but some involved ones like dr required work arounds right now. For example docker is a special case since it's virtualization software and it'll be patch to support the new chips but it's probably a good idea to check whatever software you rely on especially if it's more closely tied into the hardware like virtualization. Software is so you're not dead in the water for a few weeks or stuck putting in place a work around while everything gets updated you hope. And we've said that since that hasn't been a very widespread issue. Yeah go for the new technology over the old one. If you're buying now if you an intel mac book now there's really no rush to move to apples and one chip your computer will continue to work just fine. Yeah hopefully. that's the case but again apple got smart and said enough with intel. Just doing their own thing. And it's better for them and you as a newer customer elsie. Let us know what you end up doing. It'll help other listeners. Jim in houston. Mississippi listens on super talk. One zero one point nine. Hello jim i have a security system. I'm having trouble with. I have two camera. setup put i have a hd recorder and it was working fine and change providers. Then i increase my download and upload on the internet and now cameras will not work they do not receive anything at all. There's no signal and i'm trying to figure out what's going on about decided it may be the. Hda one cable did that and be a possibility. Well jim if both cameras are connected via independent hd m i. I'm sure that's what you meant. Hdmi cables then probably not. Are these cameras that you can check on your phone if you have a monitor that the camera plugs into directly than the odds of the cables being a problem is higher but if these are cameras that broadcast to your phone for example that it's more likely that some equipment from your new internet provider is the cause it may just be closed port somewhere that you need to open for the cameras to be able to speak to the world Before you buy any new cables it may be good to reach out to your new internet provider and ask if they've had issues with cameras and if so how you should resolve it. Some companies can control the the routers that they provide remotely so they may be able to open up the porch right for you. Yeah and asked him for that. Because depending on who you might get in a tech support scenario jim you might find out if somebody said if you ask someone. Hey can you do me a favor. Then can you just go ahead and access the router for me from there and make that correction or helped me out there And a lot of times they will and then change your password again but that might help you out. Let us know. Jim worked out for you. Because you have me very curious harry in port huron michigan. Hello harry welcome into tomorrow. I'm looking for not a bluetooth speaker. "We were getting people to pledge listeners with a goal of million new listeners in an area where there weren't a million people. Make no mistake. Paul Phil Show was super dumb but we worked super hard added. Great. Yeah. So I mean there was a lot of being dumb as an easy. Not. As it's not as easy as it looks no, no you know. The the cliff Hanger Week Week where we pledged long there was going to be a cliffhanger because it was jail who shot jr it was all done. Doing big cliffhangers and we said man, we've got to have a cliffhanger. We promised a big cliffhanger on Friday. We Steve used to come in and play the accordion on our show and we we had dina the accountant come in and shoot him. At the end of this show that was the cliffhanger, the cliff, and we promised on Monday, we'll resolve the cliffhanger. That was pretty good stuff. Of Twist of what was already going on society and you made it work for the show and I'm sure nobody thinks that heard you anyway that it was easy it had to be hard work because there's a real easy way to compare because it's around the same time. There were some really stupid morning radio shows in the morning zoo and some of these guys have just do poop jokes and have a lot of crazy sound effects which I don't think they right or plan anything at all I. Think they're just going for the moment and be high energy crazy. You guys had. I mean I. Don't know if it was daily but you had an idea of what you were doing all the time. No. We wrote stuff in a dance and we never left on Tuesday without knowing what we're going to do on Wednesday. We. At, least once an hour we knew we will. Some. Anchor thing every hour and the Christmas special I. I should know we might have done twelve of them every year we did a live show in front of a studio studio audience we ended up at the Convention Center. Or years we had sixteen hundred people in there watching the show and and you know that was super fund you brought comics down and we had. Name, Huey Lewis in the news saying and Richard Marx. Game down. Insane. And those were John Tash Tech John. Run areas. Who would know he was hilarious very down to earth and very funny. Yeah I remember we send him across the street that go you know you can post your picture with me you know five dollars to some charity he's taking pictures. Guys that just had his picture taken. So walking away with this hey, did you pay you five bucks? Five bucks come on took a picture that was a challenge somebody on our audience. We gave them money for any we twenty five bucks for every person they could get to pay five dollars to get their picture taken with John Tesche and Tasha's game. He was he was really. Before, we get too far away from name dropping I wanted to share that one of the special moments and I still have the air check from it for me and Bob. Was Boss Gags came in and did low down just him and his guitar. Yeah. That was magical. Were you there that morning? Yeah Oh. Yeah. Oh Yeah. I still have in the art I still have one of the few things I have. He had a new album out and he was out promoting which. Was Uncharacteristic Cold Sierra Yeah and he and he and another guy there were to implant guitars in button boss had not played his own guitar silence before that and yeah, for guys our age because you know the cell bosquet salesgirl album in college and he he sat there and did some new songs and he did low down really fun I. I didn't know you guys were in the room. Yeah and I I wouldn't leave without getting an air check of it or you know. I still have it today in a Bob and I were talking about it and pulled it out. As a few years back. But I mean, it's still something that we still remember very fondly. Yeah and it's Kinda like the soupy sales story. We had lots of experiences with a lot of famous people in a lot of special people Graham Chapman worked the club literally a few weeks before he passed away. In that was just we're such monty python fans that was just a moment for us but those are moments that have all built up to a wonderful history and I think that this podcast hopefully will share that if people stick to and listen. So stay out there but the price is right. But it was. We were thankful to you guys, pollen and Phil. Why Ninety two because we were able to not only share the club and promote the club and then interact with the events that you did like the Christmas special but we also it was a huge. Ties in from promotion to marketing and I don't remember I'm would tout myself as pretty good at marketing. I made a deal with the radio station that if they if I paid for a ten thousand dollar billboard in put your names on it. They, gave me twenty thousand of airtime and I could do it on KFB K, which normally I couldn't afford I. Don't remember that you remember the billboard with listen to Pollen Phil why ninety two was up for months full-size the. Paints Yeah Yeah so The reason I brought it up, was that you take all these different aspects of guests visiting to you guys talking about the club showing up at the club to billboards and and going all these special events I go back to the term it was a very symbiotic everybody got something out of it. It was a win, win win and everybody had fun. Oh No, they were. They were good days one more thing about eighty two I don't know where else you're going with this but asking about what do I remember? One of the. Best broadcast we ever did was the show we did from Sacramento Kentucky. Oh. Yeah. Did you know we've looked around? We found out there's three Sacramento's in the country I did not know where the third one was but their Sacramento Kentucky it was population two hundred seven. Wow and we call them and we said come and and we've got set up to broadcast from there we got. We made t shirts for everybody in town. 'cause you could and the Holt and we did this show from Mali's diner and the whole town came out in the t shirts that we brought. Didn't we ask listeners hey. Business. You got a t shirt as long as a Sacramento one. So we had Sacramento fire. Department, we were giving it the fire department guys they're. Budged that said, Sacramento somewhere. That's right and and we're we're interviewing these people from Kentucky.
