"That's a good one though. I'll give it to you. That was good and seeing who. Why why why why. Well y y y okay. Let me get started here. Tk i don't know how much you know about little dicky and his and his catalog. I'm a little confused with the timing of this reference. Because i've seen that episode of dave where kareem abdul-jabbar is in it and the song that adam references there but like i don't know i don't know if he had that song before the show because otherwise okay you don't know yeah. I don't know walk. The timeline doesn't make sense but then again it could just be a sign that he had no so. I'm gonna go fake 'cause of 'cause of attention to detail of like when this clip would have been happening in the reference to the korean part of dave which of course features a little dicky so a man i mean i think i've gotten the last four or five so feel free to fade me. This one feels very real to me. That feels very much like adam. Amine and stacey king the mannerisms from jd are exactly the lines that i think stacey king would be saying and certainly be elated to hear abba media upping rap lyrics during the middle of a broadcast which is something that he would do. I think he seems to have a lot of references at the ready. I know he's got these massive like no sheets. And i don't know timing wise either but i know nurkic was out early in the season so if he was sitting on the bench when he has longer hair. That's when the bulls played in portland. They played january fifth in portland. So if it's all early in the season times okay could be mark me down for real and like i guess it almost makes more sense if i saw it in the show. Dave again creams in the episode. And that song is referenced. It makes sense song that he had then they go and try and get kareem abdul-jabbar to be in the episode. Okay okay. you've sort of convinced. Me i've come to your side even though you know you've got wrong in a row. I guess it is. I guess it is really what do you think. Yeah there's no point in going Fake from here. You guys verdy sort of said. It's real tries. Ju just to get one you know. It's funny though. I haven't had a means voice. I can remember stacey kings because he's been around forever. I'm just trying to think of atoms in in my head and i'm like editing. Speak and hannity town. But it doesn't really help. I mean i'm gonna say real. Because i think it doesn't matter anyway because i'd be in the minority so real.

"Okay. There's a roller coaster right there. Yeah good call lee. Why was he saying that. Why did bill were. also that part is what. I'm so confused weird. It's a weird one about young people not worrying no because he says she should. Yeah yeah she should wear mass. We should wear masks and then because it because it's old. But i'm convinced he's saying it bill worrell because we are we're she is a beautiful woman and we are just old men. That's what i actually think he's saying. And then bullard sorta covers zara. That's my that's my. I mean we can get bill rail on the podcast now that he's retired. Maybe he's got some time. He's into an advisory role to houston rockets. But i believe like many people in the world says you're not sick. You're not old. You've got no worries. Take off the mask. That's basically that's essentially what he's saying. But i mean good point by trait about the sound system. I mean bill. Royal sounds a little like me. In that instance where he yeah. What's going on here in the stadium. Piping in the booze that was a really good he was commenting on. Yeah they didn't like the foul call in houston audio. Production jumped rain. They're doing a good job. So he's been at the helm or he was at the helm of play by play for forty years so good one time i saw tribute video to him. Started in eighty doing the rockets game sceptre up in houston so yeah pretty seen on loves the game and hope he enjoys his retirement. Thanks to ahmed patel for sending that one in. But we couldn't end on that one the final say. What is the bulls broadcast team of adam amine and stacey king great deal but it really has nothing to. What's that new combination. Yeah yeah. Because he's taking neil fox job. Yeah adam i mean has this is first season did a great job with stacey king but really has nothing to do with the bulls at all focuses on blazer center yousef merkich all play adam amine. Jd will play. stacey king. nurkic.

I was there with the french team i played for. Did you like you know. I had my wallet stolen. Sorry it's okay not too many out there. I got it back and seeing all right a lot to digest the food great line. I remember that game. And i remember ben. Simmons had a huge games. I think impede was out injured. They had no guys. Yeah i do that too so the game was real and the point was real too. I think with the forty two because he had a huge asset game. Yeah so these effects this happen you know. Joe ingles of course in. I don't know if i'll ever did go to australia. That pod sort of confused on that. I just feel with ben simmons. Big joe ingles connects connection to utah and not do not be probably did go to australia and he probably did get his wallet stolen so i think a lot of things point this in the direction of being real again true he. He was saying specifically that he played the frankly played for. I guess went to australia for a game. Yes that's what he's saying is what he's implying. Trae what he think. Well as lee mentioned these are some facts about the game had definitely happen. I think i was the game. That ben simmons afterwards was like joe aura rudy. Gobert is not the defensive player of the year or something right basically like i just let them up. I don't know it's tough. I've been off. I've been at the three in a row here. So gimme real with a big old grain. Salt skeets i will say the the joey. Kangaroo ingles like australian connection like not. They're not their finest work or maybe not as this work. I don't know which one. But i think it's them and i think it's real to you know you're you're you're you're on the spot there you're calling a live game and you're trying to think quick and okay. Though with element element contains a science backed electrolyte ratio. A thousand milligrams of sodium two hundred milligrams of potassium sixty milligrams of magnesium all perfectly formulated to help anyone with their electrolyte. "Closed down. It's just a fantastic place. Get out and Yes so first of all ni- sounds like a great bar and es escapes. If you're watching on youtube. I can see making that perplexed face because you heard dave ben say perogie now. The clip went even longer. There was a correction by the producer. Let's play that back. Oh my passion these viagi doggies rectify vanessa. The truck. how do you save this. People can't hear you bureau these weeks at yagi. My family a one way conversation with our producer. This is a preseason game and we're going to get to the bottom of this. Yeah so we went back to the preseason. I appreciate you ski thinking. I'm a busy man in having the time to write something like that. But i can definitely write some novels in the past. Sure i've got but anyways but hold on like another reason. We should have known it was. It could have been real and ended up being real. I don't know many like these are older guys on the broadcast. There talking accordions here. "The boys together. Splash chips and me. I think i think it's too insane. I think this is a skin way. Biscuit basket over here. I think it's made up i. I'm gonna go on this one. Okay lease point out if it's fake. Incredible job lee that he slips in like the hall is jefferson nubia. That is amazing. But i think it's real. Because i had to try to think if hollis jefferson was even on the timber wolves in preseason. Yeah yeah you know what i think. It's fake but i don't think tass routed i think someone else. Maybe maybe task just decided. Oh i'm gonna do to pre- seasons in a row just in case there onto the first one so i think it is fake. It's fake but yeah. I don't know i missed part on the last one. So here's why it could be real and we get back to back to preseason. This is the start of the season. Our fans are excited about the possibility of a say. What coming back. They're locked into these games and they're sending it to task to say. Hey listen to this clip or maybe task. Themselves season ongoing real. But you guys you guys are making some good points. We just heard matin jack. Really go off the rails about jack wanting to fight somebody in utah because they were talking during the broadcast. "Pretty good with those fans who were right in front of us. Yeah i should have probably refrained from a few choice word now now now i mean you're nice to them. They were idiots. You were nice. I was very nice. Yes it's a four point game five seventeen ago. This is preseason game and seeing this was definitely the most shut ups we've ever had and thank you. That's why i'm sort of leaning fake. I don't think jack's quite that aggressive is he. I think he. I think he likes to have fun. But all those shot ops. I think that's because we have seen jackass. He's a man of the people even like he gets out there and people love jack and jack loves them. he's the raptors fans. He's no but i think he's one of those ones that people i think he's more universally versus love than anyone really hates jack. Why could you hate jack. How could you hijack that's fair. I have to say. I have to say j. j. matt devlin was actually spot on onto very big carrying that devlin level straight shooter too high. Not too low draws out syllables. Just perfectly but yeah. I agree so so lease leaning like that was a fake one. Mainly because of jack's aggression. I mean maybe jackson gresham comes from him sounding a little bit like an jack armstrong. Doing tony soprano a little bit. I'm i do the level of detail. That jd is devlin brought. I think that rings a little bit true to me. Devlin loves to fill a silence. He'll hit you with la. He's famous for from brampton or whatever. The guy has a deep bag of references to pull from so. I think i'm leaning real here. It's extended to which you know kind of makes sense in a preseason game literally no clue at this point if there were blowouts in the preseason for the raptors which would give matt and jack a lot to talk about skied. You're gonna be on you. Buddies dishes real. Okay let me talk this through. First off yeah. Jd's devlin fantastic tacitly. Your jack got better better over four. Yeah i agree. It's gotten better over the years. I can't do jack justice but yeah it's got better. Yeah yeah it's weird that if this is fake you decided to put it in the preseason. Okay why do you say that. I just seems like a me. look crazy. so that's just a that's a really weird attention to detail to try and fake soda. I guess. But i don't even think you would think of that. I don't i don't think you would just put it in the regular season. And if you were making it up if you were writing this so i also think because it's in the preseason that jack is little feisty mealy maybe maybe dropping like the little shut up recalling back to those utah fans and you know again. This could just be great writing from task here but it makes sense that he would if he were to get into sort of like a little squabble with any fan base i can see the utah jazz fans being the ones. So so that sorta checks the box for me for real. I think it's real specially that attention to detail like you said. Tk of devlin talking about the cough button and the talk back button data. Classic devlin like he'll he'll just peel back the curtain and let you know how it goes down so i'm ultimately going to go with trae here and i'm going to say i'm going to say it's real all right. Jd let's reveal it.

"Right in that range and then it's got the escalator language. So if you could somehow makes all NBA team or anything like that, then he bumps up to that full 207, which is the Trae young that's where Luka doncic will be. So, yeah. So I think that's wrong, you know, a pretty good, you know, spot for them to be there and then they re-signed Mike muscala. That was a little bit of a surprise, but they've always liked him. There. They like that, he's dead. You know, that big in there to work with their other young big, so like Alexi books schefsky and those guys. So, I'm just remember if it was one of my, it was one of my favorite like, just offer stated tweets of the night, it just popped back into my head. That when the mic was small thing came across. I remember my tweetdeck is just, you know, going berserk, right? Like a, cuz there's so much going on and I just saw just enough of yours. I think he tweeted something like, like, in response to Mike muscala. You just tweeted like, I mean, okay, or whatever. Like, I guess, I guess that's something like, like that, where it's like, yeah, that's that is it? That's the reaction to Mike muscala, right? They already traded Moses Brown, and Al Horford out. They they added off waivers in case anybody forgotten that had happened in a salary dump from Utah and then Kemba Walker clearly on, they added him. We'll see if you know, maybe one of these teams that misses out on a point, guard gets a little more often. You're sitting Kemba Walker, you know, potentially in a trade as of right now, I would guess know you would that, but you do have the Knicks everything that they did other than resigning, Derrick Rose. They did not add a point guard, okay? Other than Derrick Rose. So you know, let's see what the next few on day two. They've got about seven million more in cap space so that could be targeted at one of these guys who hasn't been signed yet. But yeah well we'll see when we get there Portland Trailblazers their big deal was resigning Norman. Powell five years ninety million so big chunk of change for Norman Powell but don't get robbed. Yeah, refer to as that. Now the Duncan Robinson deal but they added that Macklemore from the Lakers. Like I'm going to be a minimum contract, they're dead. He was going to get squeezed out by think more Shore, things in L and LX. Yeah yeah. That's that's exactly a Wayne Ellington, you know. Yeah we'll talk about we get the Lakers but that's what happened job. But I like that for Portland, they needed somebody who could, you know, knock down some shots and then they added Cody Zeller, he's going to be there new backup, big my guess is they're moving on from enes Kanter? So Zeller world team team up behind Jusuf nurkic there and then they lost Zach Collins. Well, we're going to come back to that one. Yes, we're getting that one. We're going to finish with that verse but yeah, yeah, all right. That's perfect. Well, you should now and I'll go on a rant that's going to be fun to go here. So yeah, I mean, I don't know that any of these moves are get Damian Lillard saying, you know, let me know. You'll be a buy more real estate here in Portland and eventually you'll lock down even further. But you know, it's a start at least you'll.

"Than Anthony Davis. Tonight, DeAndre ayton was better than Anthony did DeAndre ayton. Is not a bad player, but in no point, should he ever be better than Anthony Davis? You've played a hundred times. Anthony. Davis should be better than young green 100 times, that should never happen. So, what's going on with Anthony Davis? What happened today? And I can't say that this is all, oh, blame it on Drummond because that is part of the discussion. People say oh Anthony Davis isn't good because Drummond's not on the floor. Know we can't let a d off the hook and just thought well it's it's because Drummond's out there. That's why he's not playing. Well there was more to this than that. I didn't even like the body language from Davis today. So what did what was your takeaway with Anthony Davis? Why did he look so unprepared for a playoff game? Yeah, so actually this is another thing I wanted to get into from last year's game, one too many Davis last year in the game when he did, have 28 points and eleven rebounds, however, he shot off for 24 from the field and was a game and was a game low- twenty while Jusuf nurkic. The Trailblazers starting center last year had sixteen points and 15 rebounds. So he too dominated on the boards against Davis in game one. So Anthony Davis may just hate game ones, I don't know what the deal is, but whatever, whatever the deal is it was really, really bad. It was not a good performance room. I think we said it before we came on but probably a bottom 5. Anthony Davis performance in a Lakers uniform. Yeah, he looked disengaged, he looked weak. He was shooting a lot of faith. A ways for absolutely. No reason DeAndre ayton had him in a body bag, the whole game just really, really bad and yeah. Chris, I'd be interested to hear how you think, why? You think I have possibly happened Oh, I don't you know I feel like this is just kind of deja vu because everything you've just talked about going back to the last postseason. It feels right. You know what I mean? Like that's why I don't feel well, we talk about everything about today's game. I don't feel too stressed out deep inside just because, you know, again, this does feel a little bit of like, deja vu on a lot of different levels. But I will say this, just in terms of the whole Lakers. I mean, if we have a game to that replicates anything that looks like this. Yeah, they'll be a little more cause for concern. And if we don't see a adjustments, but I think Ron were you were you were discussing in particular, a d. Is that what it is? Yeah, versus Jusuf nurkic last year in game one, that was the comparison I was making. So she also took you to shoot the ball, he struggled, he was a team low- 2020 It's a lot of similarities between them. I think, along with Frank Vogel, I think the whole team has going to get better as this goes on. You know what I mean? The adjustments will be made. I mean, honestly, she hasn't booked I don't feel like we've seen that kind of monstrous dominating a D in a while. Outside of has the most wicked close out on the Arc of any big man in the business. So every time we saw that tonight to which was beautiful and Crowder, that one way that block, where he got the ball, kept it in play that was beautiful..

"With him and stuff like that all the time and and he he lives he's just like all of us he lives and dies with every single play which is so great. That is great to see and meanwhile, Derek birth. You're just kind of calm and quiet and watching the game and every once awhile, he'll throw out something like oh they just ran that set and they should have done this this and this here and and so he's really good boy. He breaks things down. And by the way James Brown was there as well and he is as loud and animated and as cheerful as as he comes across on on T. He just it's just who he is, which is very cool. Oh, that's awesome. Awesome. So let's get into a few other comments here where we where we call it an evening and we still have to get to the Master Lock of the night people asking what can we do as far as trading Gasol? Yeah, you're probably not trading them at this point a veteran minimum salary. Ricky Gilbert says Gasol should be able to guard jokic. Yeah. I mean that that's really what you got Marcus. All right specifically for that kind of a matchup for Nikola jokic for perhaps Jusuf nurkic, the bigger centres that you could run into in the NBA, maybe even a rude dog. Bear you might have to have deal with that. So there are some centers that they that are not that quick that Gasol might be needed to deal with in the NBA Playoffs. There are some matchups where he doesn't look good tonight. I thought was kind of one of those nights and frankly. We're seeing him not look good more often than not but there's also some very specific matchups where you might wind up glad that you had him. Now, that doesn't mean they don't need to go find somebody else though. And again, I do think the Lakers are dressed that on the buyout market and less something just Falls abruptly cuz lap before the trade deadline, which is Somebody said poor Gasol. He's getting hammered nightly. I know I don't want to you know, I really, you know, I'm really curious though to see him in that matchup. I mean maybe if we took I don't know what our next match up is with the Nuggets, but you know, maybe it'll make us feel a little better if we see him a good showing against Joker cuz you know, the only thing you had me thinking about was like, okay, I'm thinking back to what we had before and you know, Javale McGee was getting bullied by what guy you're referring to so, you know, maybe if we think it's all in some matchups like what you're saying that kind of our little more suitable for him a better matchup, you know, maybe we'll feel a little better. I mean probably not cuz I know you know, we've you know, it's been kind of tough these last few games watching him, but I don't know man. It looks like he could just use like to lose a good fifteen or twenty pounds. Honestly, it would probably help them out a lot. Well, so I've got you know, when we look at Marcus all it would take a really monstrous performance from him. I think in order to turn around some of the negativity that we see around him, which I still think is a bit overblown. I think people don't give credit for the things that he does. Well, for example, the Hawks wage and they the Lakers just put gas. All right, as a free throw line right in that high post exactly what they should do. He got the ball. He didn't even hesitate the ball was in his hands for less than a second and here I full. Out to the Ball out to the corner for a 3-pointer the Lakers psyche. He picked that zone apart in a second and there's very few centers in the NBA that can do that..

"I would imagine they probably go to bail just because of familiarity, but I think they go back to a big because now instead of dealing with Robert Covington as your Center at six seven weather bug guts or the Clippers, you're either dealing with if it's as robots. He was a seven footer or you're dealing with Jusuf nurkic who's also a 7-footer and so you I think you need the size. I think it gets either one of those gems you need the size. I will say though that I wouldn't be surprised like you mentioned Chris to see this smaller lineup a little bit more often. So as soon as say, oh I said nourish I met Nikola jokic I mixed up nursing huge. But yeah, you know, you're well, whatever anyway, so I I could see them going small whenever those bags are off the floor. I could see the Lakers going to this page. Now especially with a d at the five and you've got Markieff Morris out there to give you that floors facing the way he shooting the ball. So I don't think you take what happened in this series and just throw it away and say Hey, you know it was because it was against the Rockets. It's not going to work against any other team we're never doing this again. I don't think that's the case. I think you take the success that they've had using this lineup and you at least consider it. I think it needs needs a look and if it works, it doesn't then you adjust and credit to Frank Vogel credits at the Lakers coaching staff credit to the players. They've done a very good job of adjusting in these playoffs. Yeah. I I figure out what I think happened kind of in this Houston series, it worked out beautiful for us and the commentators were pointing this out, but we kind of figured out a whole new look for our team and something that we can use going forward. So if anything I feel like Vogel discovered a different kind of line up he can use that works together in this series that might be a beneficial going forward, you know home In a different look from our regular, you know having a d out there in Javale McGee and maybe kind of a more versatile line up a little more. You know what I mean little more scoring punch, you know, not necessarily better interior defense, but you know everywhere else type of thing. So yeah, I think think we discovered something if nothing else. I like the flexibility that the Lakers have. I think it's so it's so cool to see you know, so the Houston Rockets they went all in on small ball and if it wasn't working that's it. They they have no other options the Lakers can play so many different styles wage. And that's amazing. There's so many different ways. The Lakers can beat you and I instantly think of like MMA fighters. I think, you know like John Jones or Anderson Silva who you know, they can beat you in the standing game. They can beat you striking can beat you as like they can kind of pick and choose exactly what style they want to play like the Lakers can do that. Same thing. The Lakers have the ability to play all these different styles. So whatever you were going to throw them they've got wage..

"I I actually resent Portland Trailblazers cuz as a kid, I was a Seattle Sonics fan. And so when the Seattle Sonics left Seattle, I was left without a team and I was heartbroken that was mad that I had to root for the stupid Trailblazers. I was like, this is my team. I don't want the Trailblazers and so my whole life I felt really I just didn't want them and the Seattle Sonics no longer exist. I do not have a favorite team. But I also love that the Blazers are this incredible Underdog. It's so fun to watch them and I took Underdog anytime. I remember rooting for Butler a couple of years ago in the men's NCAA Championship. I like an underdog. That's who I am. I like rooting for that now all that being said gushing about how much I love the Blazers. They've got Carmelo Anthony got Gary Trent Jr. Jusuf nurkic, Damian Lillard CJ McCollum, despite my clear affinity for the Blazers. I don't believe that they're going to be the Lakers and round 1 of the NBA Playoffs. You have the number one seed LA Lakers LeBron James Anthony Davis against off. The number eight seed Portland Trailblazers, and I do believe really hope it's going to be an interesting competitive series. I think it's going to be really fun. I am praying for that. And it's possible that maybe my pessimism is because I'm trying to guard my heart like I don't want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed later and I love LeBron, but I gotta say it would be really cool to see the Blazers beat La it'd be awesome. I don't know how they're going to do it. You know, the two biggest stars of the Blazers are tiny got Damian Lillard a six foot two seats in the back of six foot three CJ McCollum. I love him. He's not a great athlete. He's not a great defender at all. So who's going to guard LeBron James? Who's going to guard Anthony Davis? Maybe Jusuf nurkic can guard a d ROM, but the Blazers are really bad at communicating with the pick-and-roll. Is that Collins? And it's on Whiteside the two other seven-footers for the Blazers are really slow and Zach Collins Hassan Whiteside. They struggle to defend a three-point line. They're literally too slow when it comes to closing out. And again, I go back to see my call my like CJ McCollum. He's a really good offensive player. He's really lacking on the defensive side of the ball. And not only is he shortened honestly not super athletic..

E. is just a scoring machine right now and they've got a chance to sneak into the playoffs data gonna catch the Lakers and clippers or nuggets in a first round which isn't gonna be easy form they comply with Denver we know they can play with Denver from last year but if they get the Lakers or the clippers could be tough but you're right this season was over and done with the with the injuries they had how far they fell below five hundred I don't know about you but I wrote the Blazers off and they fought their way back into a position where you can at least make an argument that they can make the play out of the last twenty plus games pretty good job by one Damon little it will agree on that I do phones arrested wait when we come back I'll run through the entire rankings of the thirty teams in Major League Baseball it was very fine column don't have you read it today on MLB dot com Mike Petrie Alloa and William fights both selected teams back and forth in a draft as the would win the World Series Yankees Dodgers one too nobody should be surprised there from there on out it gets interesting and debatable I'll run them down for you thirty three to thirty when we come back and you tell media your team has been overstated overrated underrated understated or just flat out disrespect you tell me eight five five two one two four two two seven got a mac phones arrested hours after latest CBS sports update here Jesus.

"Service Lawrence and Claire eleven minutes past the hour. Now last night was another tumultuous moment in Britain's Brexit saga. As members of parliament finally voted to wrest control of the process from the government. Now, this means MP's will get a series of votes tomorrow to find out what kind of Brexit. They will support their known as indicative votes. The Prime Minister Theresa May's deal with the European Union has been rejected twice by the British parliament. So where next joining me now is conservative and people Scully who has backed the Prime Minister Theresa May's deal. How do you feel this morning, then Mr. Scully, well, I'm disappointed because what happens is the government? Negotiates treaties and international trade season. Then parliament scrutinize set match vice it what we've got dangerous precedent. Whereas politics trying to take control of that process. And so what would have tomorrow we'll have series of votes summit, which will try and unpicks the referendum some of which actually are old today with options that we need that are only really involved in the next stage of talks because what we're trying to do it. The next day to talks what? Yeah. Future relationship. And you presumably we're happy with Brexit. Did you vote for it in the first place? Yeah. I campaign Brexit, I voted to to leave the EU. And I still believe that we've got a good opportunity ahead of us. If we get past this stage and actually just leave. Some really surprising that some of my colleagues who were alongside me campaigning today. You have to them. It's not perfect for what they want. But they can't quite see that they risk losing Brexit entirely. If they don't come in and support the stale. Do you think that is a possibility because the way things stand at the moment, the legislation that we have is on statute that we if no agreement if no other way can be found at the clock is ticking down that there will be a hard Brexit. So surely, they would be happy with that. I just don't see that happening myself because the prime minister is being pretty clear that she doesn't want to leave with Dale. I'm the suspect that parliament would again, find a way of making Mexico that doesn't happen for you. Right at the moment, the default position is that if we don't leave if we don't find a deal will end up with no deal, and I'm mind that although it's not my default position. As long as you tried everything we can to get a deal, and I suspect it we did leave without a deal, what was happening to sides would get back together again. And that wouldn't be the end state. I think they would thrash out a deal within a few weeks, but let's not put that theory to the test. But surely this'll be short champion the vote that happened last night where it's M P saying, we parliament taking back control from government saying, you know, we we haven't got a consensus. We need to throw some ideas around, and we need to come up with an idea that will have a majority backing solely. We are in this position. Because. Because of the prime minister seal the deal that you want it tobacco and the deal that you did back. And surely we now just have to park that and move on. It's it's no point pointing fingers and blaming one side blaming the other. Whether it's not even just Teesside's this many sides to all right now is to sort of coalesce come together and say for the sake of the country, we need to find a solution. Would you need to find a solution? I'm just not sure indicative version of votes is going to find that one thing that people can coalesce around. And you've then got to make sure that it respects the the referendum itself. Because if we revoke article fifty s a petition says that will that would just the undoing the first referendum if we have a people's votes cycle people's that. I'm not sure you're going to get the clarity that you want within that. And that extends the uncertainty that businesses have been crying at financial for another six seven, eight months. Would you say an extension is now inevitable as you say we had the vote last night, we know the direction of travel, but we don't even know what we are going to discuss going forward shortly. Now an extension is is the only option. Well, I mean, we've got the extension from the EU. And so we're not leaving on Friday. As was originally envisaged? Few weeks. The the to that depends on whether we get she brings the deal back and it gets passed. But. What we have to sort out is. That's all that we had that agreement with the EU so invest now in international law the face of the the Bill that's on the front page of the field of you in UK law allowed us to to to to do that still has the Die Zeit as Daytona twenty nine says Maher show on Thursday, I suspect would have to be here in parliament changing that pulse. Kelly MP who back the prime minister's deal. More amendments being laid down and votes happening on them tomorrow here in the UK parliament, thanks for joining us. Remember, it was going to be happening at eleven o'clock on Friday. Salad. We've all got something else to do eleven o'clock on Friday, otherwise you and me would have been live somewhere. Absolutely, right. What am I doing? Probably the supermarket. This is news day with Lawrenson and clear looking for do some shopping and the top story just to remind you from the BBC newsroom involves at Donald Trump and wall a billion dollars being earmarked is apparently being transferred. We're gonna talk business now in the US lawyer who came to most people's attention because he was representing the porn-star stormy Daniels and has suits against President Trump. Well, the lawyer appeared in court after being arrested on fraud charges. He's accused of trying to extort millions of dollars from John sports company. Vivid newness is here from our business desk. So what do we know about this case than who is he well, this is the lawyer called Michael Abernathy? He was the lawyer for porn star stormy Daniels as you say he's been linked to Donald Trump. But he's also a fierce critic of the president. But this is about his alleged dealings with Nike sportswear brand. Michael is accused by federal prosecutors of arranging a meeting with Nike, lawyers and demanding they pay him between fifteen and twenty five million dollars to carry out antenna investigation at the company that apparently they didn't ask for if they didn't agree to that. He's accused of threatening to go public with this damaging information, he says he has about Nike, and in fact, just before he was arrested yesterday, Mr. tweeted that he would soon be holding a press conference to disclose what he called a major high school college basketball scandal perpetrated by Nike that he'd uncovered. He went on to say this criminal conduct reaches the highest levels of Nike and involved. Some of the biggest names in the sport. He's also a key. Used of threatening to take ten billion dollars off the company's market value by going public with this invite. He didn't get to hold that press conference though, he got arrested instead his prosecutor Jeffrey Berman, I am highly confident that when all of the evidence is lay bare in connection with these cases when it is all known when due process occurs that I will be fully exonerated and Justice.

"But you were just with this team over the weekend against Virginia. What did you observe their? Yeah. Well, number one green Virginia is the best scoring defense in the nation. They played the dreaded pack line. They hold the ball. They're not gonna give you any extra possessions. And he still managed somehow to score twenty seven points. And I wrote down the sizes of the guys who played him because I talked to their associate head coach before the game. Like, how are you gonna how you gonna play defense against? We rotate bodies they had a six seven to twenty five garden seven one to thirty two and six ten to fifty. It didn't matter ever like I'm convinced now that if you don't keep the ball out of his hands and force them to get offense of rebounds forces touches to come off of miss baskets. He's going to just put thirty up on you every time absolately, and he's a frequent enough lead Maria in the thing about Zion that can get under overlook this effort by you're able to appreciate his athleticism when you see them finish. But these are all extra effort plays somebody's actually trying to box him out. And he continues to hustle for the ball. And when you see him get a steal. He's able to convert that into transition offense the other way when I first saw Diane's perform at do. I was trying like everybody else to compare him to somebody that gave me a while factor. When I first saw them as a basketball player, and it was Sean Kim I was at BC camp Rensselaer, Indiana. I I was was a a nine. ninth grade. Sean Kim literally jumped over a car not like Blake Griffin jumping in landing on the hood. Like, they pulled the car for the dunk contests on the court is shock Kip dunked over the car outside. He'll be the greatest player I ever seen. That's what Zion reminds me of because Tonkin was sixteen. He was like two seventy he was a freak of an athlete. So Zion kind of reminds me of that level of while factor. We're not see a performance a player, but what's crazy about him too? And he's been very clear like I don't want to just be a dunker. We get it. I have a forty five inch vertical like who can even say that. But he doesn't want to just be that guy. And he's changed. He's evolved over the course of the season. So he's dribbling through four people off the Dag. You know, you can put them in any situation. Let me ask you really quickly as the season has gone on our NBA scouts drooling more and more over him. Like with the things that you see it's getting better and better not less in any way. When you get a chance pay attention to the teams that are in the. The lottery now. Yeah. Look at the box scores. See who they're putting out there on the nightly basis there clearly stopped trying I love it. I let's get you to the NBA. Then the match up of the night was Portland and Oklahoma City. And this is an interesting game that we got a little trash stuffy, I kind of like its second quarter thunder up four Evan Turner going to get a bucket here on Russell Westbrook. And then he's rocking the baby rock the baby. Russell Westbrook that bother. You would talk about it after the game. Russell. I didn't even see honesty. Ruling. They're not worried about it. Let my team got to instigate and tell him that to happen under up seven. How about this move looking that just a pair of moves from Russell break and ankles now third quarter watch Russell working on not one but two players in the open floor. This is Russell Nevada and open floor. Broken situations. Hitting in the end finishing off the wrong foot, the right handed layup extraordinary quickness there the jury the dribble, and obviously merkich has no chance fourth quarter now thunder up sex, Paul George. We'll get the defense. The Paul George is playing giving the thunder and eight point lead found his pace. And what I mean by that is Russell Westbrook. Played at one hundred miles an hour, like just hair's on fire. Paul George was initially doing that. Now, he's playing at his own pace and being more effect. That was Dan Willard..
