NFL Franchise Tag Tracker, Denver Broncos

"Own ego signing the franchise tag is gonna make you more money. In the long run. You will make more money off the franchise tag because you're still going to get the big money deal the next year or the year after. And it's interesting for like Dak Prescott, For example, he ended up getting the five year deal that Dallas ended up wanting simultaneously. He got more money up front. I mean, I think I remember he was six years ago. Control. They got everything they wanted out of exactly right. But on the other side, he had to wait for Patrick Holmes deal to come in. Yes, way for John Watson and better And that's you saying the market on Lee goes up You is an NFL team. You are one of two entities. You are the people that set the market or you are the people that are reacting to it. That's it. There is no in between, and so you can either get out in front of it and pay a guy and it's gonna be a cheap deal in two years. It's gonna be expensive. Looking at the front end. You're gonna get a little laughter when you sign it. And then two years and then your best bet go well, you got a quarterback, that's 80% of the market. Or you're gonna be. You know the team that it's reacting to the market and get going over pay for stuff. That's what happens. You know, the faster you get the deal done, the better off. You are period point blank end of discussion. By the way. Marcus may also got tagged today. So is it. We're tying to justice that was expected, You know, Like I said, I can't go to the particulars. But I had a great conversation there Senior bowl with Eric Burkhardt, who's Marcus Mae's agent? We're talking about the situation and everything, And I think those two safeties are eyeballing each other as far as what the contract Sorry. It's gonna be a question. Which team blinks first, but this was kind of like If we go back several years, everyone Dez Bryant and Marius Thomas. Both got tags. They both ended up getting their contracts done, but they literally got done within the same day. Well, it was pulled. Teams were waiting on the other one, You know, to kind of see the framework and see if they were the same ballpark. This deal done. And finally Jerry was, like, just do it here, you know, And that's and then the Broncos like, okay, we'll offer you that. It is very same thing crazy, so it might come down to the same kind of deal And if the Jets can get Marcus made done, they think Justin's will get done first, and I think it will get done early. Okay, So I think Justin's deal we've got well before the draft. Okay. All right. I like that. They've got to well after that to get it done. So that's just my hunch. Um, based on what I know about both sides of the situation and and again, it kind of comes back to the whole procedural word that was used. That was the word that the Broncos used. That's the word that we've understood this entire time. You've been listening the program, we said From a procedural standpoint, the Broncos will likely use that franchise tag for the second time on Justine Simmons is not the intense and not give him a long term deal. People are misunderstanding this situation, and I even had questions today about okay. Well, if they would've pushed back the franchise tag, maybe the Broncos could've gotten something done. Or maybe the Broncos should have tried to do something like the Cowboys were. This whole deal came together in like 24 hours. The fact is, if you You with the way it's supposed to be viewed, which is what the Broncos are doing. This is a we don't want you going anywhere. We don't want to risk getting to the final 11th hour and all of a sudden there's a paperwork issue, and we can't do a bill. That's exactly right. We do not want to risk that. We're not gonna stub our toe. And so we're going to go ahead and get this thing done now and understand they on the other side. The expectation by all parties involved is to get something long term done. Yeah, um and how it should be used by the way the doctor getting it done in 24 hours. I hate that. I hate that term because it's It's not really They were close last year last they were. They were close last twosome framework there, But I'm saying that like it really escalated over the last 24 hours. To appoint, at least at some of the reporting this out there really escalated over the last 24 hours that they were able to get to the finish line right before the franchise tag deadline, right, so that that's that's the thing Dallas has been called. They were close, actually Latin. Not last year, the year before last, Scuse me. Before the first tag that September. They were close. Stephen Jones, They believed they had it. They believed they had it and they were. There were some issues with length and and how the final two years of the deal were structured and all that kind of stopping. It fell apart last night, but they they thought Dallas thought they had it done. S o. You know, I'll just I'll just leave that at that. And we can we go up but a sparse the Broncos go. I have no doubts that they'll get this deal done. I really don't have 99.999999999% Sure they get this thing done, Okay? And then as far as

Broncos Dak Prescott Patrick Holmes Eric Burkhardt Marcus Mae Marius Thomas John Watson Marcus Justine Simmons Dallas Justin Dez Bryant NFL LEE Jets Jerry Cowboys Stephen Jones Latin

"Sports time with Mike Rice and again for B K and a tough loss for the Broncos. They've got to keep things together moving forward. That's true guys. The Broncos didn't play very well. They turned the ball over four times. They gave up two big plays that allowed the Chiefs to score with the offense on the bench. Daniel Sorensen had a 50 yard pick six to put Casey up 17 to 6 in the second quarter and then later in the second, Byron Pringle returned to kick off 102 yards for a touchdown. That gave Kansas City a 24 to 9 lead by halftime and from there was pretty much all she wrote for the Broncos. 10th straight lost to the chief's safety Justine Simmons said, even though the defense played, all right Broncos have to stay United stay together and now look ahead to the Chargers game. Who's not going to be frustrated, losing a game like that, especially at home. Sometimes, you know, emotions get the best of everybody. Knowing snowman's above emotions, you know, in terms of when your heated and in the moment so There's gonna be no divide there going to be games where you know, Defensively we're not playing is great. And you know the offense is gonna have to pick us up and things in that nature is so there's gonna be no divide on the team. You know everyone on our team. We know it's fighting and doing their best, and we just got to be better during the game. The Broncos lost running back Philip Lindsay after he was hit very hard. He went into concussion protocol. Broncos and charges go out at this Sunday at Empower field at Mile high around the A F C West Yesterday, Chargers over the Jaguars 39 29 Buccaneers beat the Raiders 45 to 20 in the world. Siri's the Dodgers beat the raise for two to take a three games to two lead. The offense got going early on. Corey Seager got Los Angeles on the scoreboard in the first balls. "I just I just don't see it with the pressure that's being put on. I do in this petition by Justin Fields that has now over 217,000 signatures from players and fans alike will have no impact. You think I just don't think so not listen, I could be wrong because there is a chance. I mean, there is a chance. So you're saying I could be shot out of a cannon in a circus? And water into a tub of water. I mean, that would be I'm a little bit, I would haul for good money. For that. I'm sure you would I would pay. I couldn't stop laughing. I would bust a gut. I might have left all day. And when I ran my face into the garage, right, But this would be even funnier than that. Paying you out of a cannon. How much to take in. I know how long you worked with Rick. I could raise enough money to get 10 grand together. From friends and they still do that. I know they shoot little people already for charity. Do they still shoot people out of here for 10 grand to charity? Maturity? That money you've made? Yeah, I'll consider it Dave. Alright. You would do it. Do they still, I'm asking now. Because you're the circus fan. Do they still shoot little people out of a cannon? No, I don't think you could shoot little people. But you can shoot big people like you know, I'm serious. Do they do that? I don't think I don't know. I've never even seen not little, but I've seen it done or do you just wear Jesus in a circus? Like what year? Are you into a water? 69? No, not in the water. It was like into a net starts eating time. I've seen it into a net. I asked my mom Mom, you think I could ever do that? She said no. And that was it. I've never seen in Vegas. They do that. Yeah, they do it like a circus circus in those places. I'm not sure how they do it safely. I don't even your propelling a human out of a cannon. And you're a little big to be shot out of a kid. You know what Frank gets so tired of that of her? That's that that line right there my whole life. You know, you're a little big. I was a patch player in football, which means No. You can't touch the ball I had marked with Can't run the ball because you are a little bit. But in this case, what if you only made it half way to the Met? Which hand over the body of water. Like you made it like 50%. Don't you want your lower half to make it to the net first, like my lower half without my head. You want your heart, like, put your butt lower have to hit for no, You go ahead. No, you go ahead. First out of the cannon. I know, but wouldn't you like do some flips? So your lower body hits first They shoot. They shoot right being hilarious. Think I'm a gymnast? They shoot you into a big big net? Yes, And it's not. It's you know, probably. 40 feet from the cannon. Yeah, you wouldn't want to do it into a body. Let's just see if they actually do it. I'm probably not going to do it. They do it that maybe there's a chance that they shoot big people. Normal size people size. I'm a normal sized person. Not so you're telling me there's a chief. That's right. They do it, Dave. Looking online here they really Yeah, And that's it. It's an air gun. Go to school to learn. I don't think so. Oh, no, You don't have to practice it all. They just stuff you in the cannon and let it go. You signed a waiver and then you hear the line again? You know you're a little big Dave. You're a little bit. Can you suck it in a little bit? Okay. There you go. Perfect Kaboom. Ricky can't be understands, laughing their ass off just to tuck at the end. Yeah, I could tell you could do it. You're a great Uffe like Kentucky used taketh the end. Yeah. They say they that human cannons are really just oversized air guns. Perfect, So it's not a real cannon. It's an air gun. How did you do? So well, what is a guy going? I'm looking at it. That's what I mean. It propels you headfirst out of that thing in net, boy. You won't want to put your head down in at first. I didn't know you had your feet. Yeah, but you could just do some flips. I think it's like a big risk of big spring you or you'd have to really trust the guy shooting you out of the can, and I'm looking at this picture here. This guy probably travels about 100 yards in the air. No way as he started to come down the length of a football field, huh? Look at this picture here. Wait As he's starting to come down. He flips onto his back. Yeah, That's right. A day would have to flip. It Looks like it could be 100 yards. Radio walking. Look at that. Look here. Listen. Look okay. You know you're not doing that. No, I think I would advise it gets not doing that. This is ridiculous. I'm not going 100 yard. Look at that. That's a bunch of about 100 yards. No. Has to be a smaller person is a little net. You Justine Simmons coming up. We won't ask him about this, but we'll talk them. Broncos with Justin, 11 35. This is now.

"Welcome in third and final hour on this Monday edition of the show Back after a week away. Glad to be talking to you guys again. Glad to be hearing from you guys again, and I look forward to hearing more of you throughout the hour, 5 to 2. 987 to that is the tax line and the phone line as well. We've covered a lot of ground. So far, a lot of different sports, and we like to at this time every day, kind of reset things. Talk about the big stories and in what we've been talking about, and we call it what's driving the show. A CZ. You're driving home. Here are the three stories that are driving drive time sports. R right. No audio company meant today on what's driving this show, so we'll just run through thes stories. Today. We've being kind of playing half catch up half covering today's stories that started this show today by talking about Justine Simmons and the fact that he and the Denver Broncos could not agree. To a long term extension before the deadline passed last week. And I think what this is indicative of Is that John Elway just doesn't carry the same cloud that he has in the past. And you have the athletic agent survey.

"Answer to the question of which journal manager Do you trust the least? Would you have paint on the roster? You could point at him. So we got Peyton. How could you not want to be a part of this? It was. It was the club that everyone wanted to get into. It was the same way in Indianapolis. When you have number 18 or when you have number 12. Everybody wants to Everybody wants to join you. It's the club that everyone wants to get into. But when Peyton Manning is long gone at this point And you look at a team. That has been losing Over, son. It's a club. I'll go too. But like I'm not going to stand in line. A ridiculous cover charge to get in. I mean, I I kind of want to be here. But I'm no, it's not. It's not what it wass. And what you're seeing What Justine Simmons. Is even internally in the organization, the people that like the organization Say you know what? No, I want to be here, but I want to be here on my terms, and I'm not going to sit down at the table and be told by John Elway. What contract I'm going to take. There was a time where that was the case. It's no longer If the Denver Broncos want Justine Simmons, they have to actually try. Because there is no guarantee that Drew Locke is going to pay an out. There's no guarantee that the Denver Broncos Will be. It will be just a matter of time before they're going to FC Championships. We don't know that the arrow is pointed up. You feel generally good about the direction of the team, but there's no guarantees. So what Justine Simmons is saying is no. I'm not just giving in To be a part of this team. You need me as much as I need you. And guess what? Ladies and gentlemen. That's how most organizations have to operate. Most organizations have to do some convincing. They have to do some negotiating. They have to meet half way They have to concede things. Maybe Bella check doesn't have to do that. Maybe John Elway didn't have to do that when he had paint Manning. But now he does. I still think this can get done. And I think that Justine Simmons will be around long term, But the days of John Elway, in the words of that agent having to win every negotiation, it's just not gonna happen. And you see this reflected look at the impact moves that were made by John Elway. General Casey Trade Age, a boy trade. Jerry Judy, draft pick. Not luring he didn't lure free agents. Like he like he has in years past. He's had to be opportunistic Broncos Khun be successful that way to a lot of teams. They're successful that way. But it's not the way that John Elway is used to building a team. And in order for the Broncos to actually realize this potential that people think they may have John Elway has to understand what we've been saying for a long time. You're not You know, number seven anymore. You're not the guy that brought him Peyton Manning. You're just another general manager. Convince me that I should be here. 5 to 29872 will take your thoughts on Justine Simmons, not Agreeing to a long term deal. Do you think that it means that Justine Simmons will not be a Denver Bronco after this year? Coming up next will stick with football but moved down to the college ranks a very tough blow for the Air Force Falcons as quarterback Donald Hammond is now A cadet. Not in good standing or lost his good standing with the Air Force Academy. So what does that mean for the Air Force if football is played in the fall? And what about if it's moved to the spring? Brent Bregman because that joins me after we take a look at your Monday traffic.

"Now it's It's um, range balls was your short game. Incredibly rusty might be might be a little better than mine. Let's take a short game is actually decent. I'm terrible off A T. I have terrible form spread the ball everywhere and you got to see that on full display. I like that. I got a picture of you as you sliced it number one their way. Oh, man, I would man put that ball over the net into the other fairway, but you're in the fairway, right? That's the thing I was. I had no problem, knocking the ball to 10 to 2 40 anywhere in the Alfa team. No problems without whatsoever where it went, was anybody's guess anybody's guess. Now open the club face closed the club face you are that is your first time in a while. So about four years I see that's the thing is like I I've been going out at least once a week with the kids and we go out and hit a bunch of range balls and we have We have a lot of fun. Obviously, the bigger the biggest thing for the big draw for them. They get soda out of it because, like we never give them soda, but I take them out there and they usually get orange soda. Is there thing that's that's their ones aren't so that isn't like Faye. Go or is it just like like just regular orange soda anta like, although they decided they like sun kissed better, which is great for my childhood, because, you know, I just was what we drink, right? They didn't have didn't have horns and have it today. Yeah, that strawberry on the kid's both. Yeah, they made that face there like me. What? I'm had root beer. How's about stealing? I'm Ruby a a more of a cream soda guy, but I'll do it. I'll do some repairs to and W towards that. I knew I liked you. We have a lot of text coming in on our Justine Simmons question that we posed and, well, I want to get to that here in just a matter of moments, a reminder. You have more chances to win $1000 starting on Monday when he continues during Colorado morning news at 5 a.m. Top of their list for that cute text. It's keyword for cash on K O a news radio. Howard Griffin is gonna join us here in a matter of moments, and I get a lot of texts are question that we're gonna continue to kind of come through. And get your reaction to how much does the decision to not sign Justine Simmons to an extension? Having a play on the franchise talk? How much does that affect the way you perceive this Broncos offseason people excited about the off season? Right here. One of your guys didn't get signed to an extension. So I want to get your reaction. 56 16 0 We head out to the high line and bring on Howard Griffin, of course, formerly of the Denver Broncos. How are you, Howard? I'm doing Well, how about you guys were doing grates? Happy Friday to you? Ah, family doing right? Everybody good. You know, we're getting bored law, you know, but we're rolling with the punches. Yeah, that's that's kind of what we have to do it. I have quite a few questions for you tonight regarding college and, of course, even some new Broncos here that are part of the Big 10. But We're part of the Big 10. But I wanted to start out here with just your comments about Mike Shanahan going into the Broncos ring of fame and what your relationship was like with Mike. And why do you think he was so deserving of this? You don't well deserved. Obviously, when you look at what he was able to do their in Denver as an assistant, also, Obviously, the head coach went in back to back Super Bowls. And sometimes you wonder, why did it take so long? I mean, because he's done something that very few people have ever been able to do. And You know, I think he's he's also should be credited for putting a unbelievable coaching staff together. And front office staff together there were they able to work and and really be ableto. Give what they wanted was the best players that bit system Big Coach Kubiak and my Chan a hand and wanted to run from the office of standpoint. Yeah, There's you know, there's talk here today and it kind of weirded me out a little bit. Somebody was trying to say that John Fox had Dunmore for the Broncos head coach in a short amount of time. Thank you. Thank you. All right. I'm going to make sure I was going crazy. I didn't know. You know, you're not a frame this question, So that's subsection spitballing it out to you here, Okay, but Mike Shanahan, you know, it should have been. I think in the whole of fame already. I think he was a guy that should have already been, you know, handle these accolades. Why is this just coming to Rusian now. I'm not really sure. Um, I'm not close enough to the situation to be able to give you an accurate answer for that. But the end of the day. I mean, it's really about you Talk about the ring of fame. You talk about the Hall of Fame. It's really your marriage, what you have been able to accomplish and how you did that. Michael put, you know a team. Had an opportunity to get there but ended up losing to Jacksonville been Karey boom that following year to be able to motivate the players and be able to bring in the guys that could take you to the next level, along with the guy's already on the roster. A lot of credit has to be given to those guys. And being today is one of situations where You know, Mike was pretty much in control of everything, but has some unbelievable, unbelievable support staff there they were able to support him and what he ultimately wanted to do. And You know, it really worked out that part of it also is There were also leaders in the locker room. And I'm talking about John Elway right now who Could go to Mike and say Hey, You need to back off..

"Point I wanted to make about Justine Simmons. Ben on. I know you're sitting out this sassy tweet that I can't wait to see. The other point that I wanted to Make about Justine Simmons. Yeah. The Broncos could consider tagged him twice. I'm pretty sure he would be okay with that. I'm pretty sure you would. And I'm pretty sure they might be to not because they don't want to keep him. But they may look at it is pretty close to a wash. As the amount of money they would have paid him anyways. And guarantees it would be a 20% raise on what you're making this year, which is 11.4. So if you had 2.82 that'll or whatever's the higher if there are more salaries that go up out there. This is just right around 14 million. Be right around 14 million, right on 40 million and think maybe when he was running point to 25 million and guarantees, maybe even probably more close to 30. Okay, So there you go, so that for the Broncos, that's a deal. Franchise tag him to two years in a row. You get a little bit of a steel there on Justine Simmons if it's around 25 million versus paying the 30 million guaranteed You're something. Think about. I s o. They say five million. I'll check this out. They say five million in that process. They give him a contract extension. Now, the only way they'll do that after the next one. But the problem is, by that point. How is that? Relationship. So I would have with her cousin when you went franchise tag back to back didn't exactly play out well for Washington. Let's head out to the high line and bring on front of the program. George Jury with pro football focus at Pff underscored George George. How are your odd drafts coming with Cam Newton on every single team house that I was like, What? What rounder? You roughly getting him in right now. You know, I was just bemoaning the fact that none of my fantasy league we haven't really talked to each other yet. We haven't scheduled the draft. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to risk it all for Cam Newton. I've already decided, which has I'm gonna wear each week of the season. So all I need are people to get on board with me here. It is weird. I was wonder that that same thing when I saw your tweet, believe it or not. I thought about my long term like I've been in this league forever. It's a Dynasty league, and I was like, man, This guy's usually reached out early July, and we're starting to plan the party and it's going to be late August and I'm like Maggie away two months for this thing. But he Ivan heard a peep from him. I'm guessing assuming people are just kind of up in the air about everything right now. There's no the great thing about fancy dress, but I should remind people is you don't have to go anywhere to do that. I know some of them are fun. You want to go to Vegas and do whatever you could sit home and do a fantasy job, so Hopefully, people come around, although it's obviously understandable, a lot of things going on. I just expect, you know a couple weeks before the way people always get around to. It will be this mad Dash everyone in their mother, We're gonna overload the The system's for Yahoo and ESPN and every draft side, no demand. You know, we'll be back up. I'm afraid. I've never been able to pull off a fantasy football draft without beer and wings, and you could go to Buffalo Wild wings and get both those things. It's buffalo Wild wings right down there by Park Meadows Sze Yu getting sponsored. We have them is verified. Account getting sponsored? Yeah, that's that's what was that. Like for you as an UN verified person like myself. I I felt like I should do something with it. Take advantage, like go for a drive, and I don't I don't really know through with my hands. Look, Look, Let me tell you this. I saw it. I didn't really think it was that like I wasn't bad. Enamored by it. I didn't think any jokes. Were that funny so I wouldn't worked out. I came back. You missed dinner. You guys missed the start of. Yeah, exactly. I thought of a tweet. I went to go treated out Amount verified. Of course. Why would I be And I couldn't tweet out. It wouldn't let me tweet So I'm sitting here feeling like a complete peasant. Everyone and their mother is tweeting actually something I wanted tweet out. I'm going to Twitter help, Of course, because I'm unverifiable won't help me, you know. Shouting into the ether. Eventually, I got it to work just before I came on, so crisis averted, But that's that's what it was for me. I want to talk to you a little bit about a couple articles here from Pff. You guys did tight end and wide receiver rankings and the Broncos score pretty favorably 13th in tight ends and ninth in wide receivers. And I guess when we come back to the players surrounding Drew lock and and what the optimism is. I guess At this point, you have to say well, drew lock the player and the offensive line or the reasons why you might consider this offense to struggle. Because based on the numbers you guys put down for Pff, wide receiver and tight end I think this team is a chance to be one of the top half teams in the league. You know, it's interesting. I'm working on doing some sophomore quarterback ranking tracks, even for an NFL network hit and thinking about drew lock and looking at him compared to the other. Sophomore quarterbacks, and it just stands out to me. How little we know. I know. I sound like a broken record because I say this every time we bring it up, But we really know even so much less about him than we do, Daniel Jones. We too. Gardner Minshew, right. I mean, he has just taken so many fewer staff. So you're dead on and saying there's a lot of projection because when you see receivers open and you expect him to be open, you, man, This is this is an opportunity right here. But there is a massive part of that equation. That is the quarterback putting the ball in the money. And so you know, we just don't know There's a lot of unknowns. The good thing is, and I've said this before, as well when you see rankings Better that high for your supporting cast. You should be able to find out relatively quickly. And even if you know, no one wants T hear about the bad option. But But losing quickly is good, like finding out that if he isn't your franchise quarterback early is a good thing for the Broncos, and hopefully you find out that he is a guy that you can keep and you know, have long term, but either way, you don't want to be stuck in limbo. You want to be able to move on, and this is the situation there in it's ultimately a good situation. That's why John away, and in my opinion, had one of the best drafts out there this year. I'm interested to see this. This NFL network hit that you're doing when you get done playing the minor leagues. "For cash on K O A news radio three or 3713 85 85 56690 The other point I want to make about Justine Simmons. Ben on. I know you're sitting out this sassy tweet that I can't wait to see. But the other point Make about Justine Simmons. Yeah. The Broncos could consider tagged him twice. I'm pretty sure he would be okay with that. I'm pretty sure you would. And I'm pretty sure they might be to not because they don't want to keep him. But they may look at it is pretty close to a wash. Is the amount of money they would have paid him anyways and guarantees it would be a 20% raise on what you're making this year, which is 11.4. So if you had 2.82 that'll or whatever's the higher if there are more salaries that go up out there. This is just a run around 14 million. Be right around 14 million, right on 40 million and think maybe when he was running point to 25 million and guarantees, maybe even probably more close to 30. Okay, So there you go, so that for the Broncos, that's a deal. Franchise tag him to two years in a row. You get a little bit of a steel there on Justine Simmons if it's around 25 million versus paying the 30 million guaranteed Just something. Think about I s o. They say five million. I'll check this out. They say five million in that process. They give him a contract extension. Now, the only way they'll do that after the next one. But the problem is, by that point. How is that? Relationship. So I went out with her cousin when you went franchise tag back to back didn't exactly play out well for Washington. Let's head out to the high line and bring on front of the program. George truly with pro football focus at Pff underscored George George. I was wondering that same thing when I saw your tweet, Believe it or not. I thought about my long term like I've been in this league forever. It's a dynasty league, and I was like, man, This guy's usually reached out early July, and we're starting to plan the party and it's going to be late August and I'm like, man. I got way too months for this thing, but he I haven't heard a peep from him. I'm guessing assuming People are just kind of up in the air about everything right now. There's no the great thing about fancy dress, but I should remind people is you don't have to go anywhere to do that. I know some of them are fun. You want to go to bay gets to do whatever you could sit home and do a fantasy job so Hopefully, people come around, although it's obviously understandable, a lot of things going on. I just expect, you know a couple weeks before the way people always get around to. It will be this mad Dash everyone in their mother. We're going to overload the The system's for Yahoo and ESPN and every draft side, no demand. You know, we'll be back up. I'm afraid. I've never been able to pull off a fantasy football draft without beer and wings, and you can go to Buffalo Wild wings and get both those things. It's buffalo Wild wings right down there by Park Meadows Z You sponsored We have them has verified accounts getting sponsored. I went to go tweeted out. I'm not verified. Of course. Why would I be And I couldn't tweet out. It wouldn't let me tweet. So I'm sitting here feeling like a complete peasant. Everyone in their mother's tweeting actually something I want to tweet out. I'm going to Twitter help, Of course, because I'm unverifiable won't help me, you know? Shouting into the ether. Eventually, I got it to work just before I came on, so crisis averted, But that's that's what it was for me. I want to talk to you a little bit about a couple articles here from Pff. You guys did tight end and wide receiver rankings and the Broncos score pretty favorably 13th in tight ends and ninth in wide receivers. And I guess when we come back to the players surrounding Drew lock and and what the optimism is. I guess that this point you have to say, well, drew lock the player and the offensive line or the reasons why you might consider this offense to struggle. Because based on the numbers you guys put down for Pff, wide receiver and tight end I think this team is a chance to be one of the top half teams in the league. You know, it's interesting. I'm working on doing some sophomore quarterback ranking track season for an NFL network hit and thinking about drew lock and looking at him compared to the other. "Explain this to my kids later. Okay, So Justine Simmons, as we reported ad nauseum since December on this station was going to be franchise tag. Now what we didn't know at the time in December, nobody knew That he would be playing this year on the franchise tag. Well, actually, we knew that he would if they didn't reach a deal. Well, that's just the obvious, though I'm not really some people will hold out some people. Justin was very clear and very upfront. And I reported that in December that if he hears franchise tag third would play on the tag. I meant Mohr. So just the obvious of is he going to hold out and never well, he's not the type of person you think would do that. But, you know, I mean, he's like I'll play. If that's what happens. I'll play on the tag. But what I'm going to be a Bronco. What I meant from that we knew from December as the Broncos were going To tag him and he was going to play as a Bronco in 2020 either way, so that he was going to play in 2020. Either way is whether or not I was gonna have an extension on it. Yes, So anyway, everything played out pretty much as we thought it would be. The Broncos offered him a deal, which would have made him the sixth highest paid Safety A P Y. And he was not going to take that and I'm going to be honest with you to me if you're a guy who's coming off an all pro season Like Justin Wass. I think you would kind of take. That is a bit of an insult. I think you take the offer that they put in front of them. As a bit insulting and the fact that they wouldn't move off of it. And they're you know another saying they want to see another year. So you know, talking to talking. Everybody involved. You know, Justin's got a little chip on his shoulder is not angry at the organization is going to go and do this, and it's gonna cost you more when I when I do. And I think that's the right attitude that have. I think he's a player. You want to go out there. Use that as fuel to improve your performance. And I think is a business person. You want to maximize your dollar and in the end I've been trying to tell you. This is gonna be more financially lucrative for Justine Simmons. If he stays healthy and plays the same level, it's got to be more financially lucrative for him in the long run. Makes sense. I mean that we said that last night, these contracts don't necessarily go down. It is not like the market. All of a sudden it will take a dive, right? This isn't you know, sit in the stock market. There's not a sudden, you know, You know what? We're just not paying guys here. What is that paid safeties anymore? Safety's the safety positions overrated the entire league backs in a passing league who needs who needs him? So that's not gonna happen. It's only going to go up. And you said something there that I wanted to ask you about, because there was a big push on Twitter about amicable that they're both sides or amicable in this that it's a cz. Michael's put it and agreed to disagree. Kind of situation where Justine Simmons didn't quite get the money that he was looking for. Deservedly. He wants to be probably inside the top three. If not the top aide, guy, and simultaneously, the Broncos. Have history of not necessarily offering those kinds of contracts. Von Miller got that kind of contract, but again, it took all the way to the deadline. Past von Miller cutting John Elway out of photo crop it about of pictures all of that stuff, and we just missed our crop. And But you know the one thing I will say about what you just said that he was playing with a chip on his shoulder. Some people might take that and say, Okay, great. He's not angry with the organization of Broncos have burned a bridge. He's going to be frustrated. He's this is already heading down the path that nobody wanted to see. Because Justin Simmons seems Like a cornerstone kind of guy. I don't expect that to be that way. In fact, they'll even counter to say that once the guy eventually does get paid most, that stuff is usually for gotten. Now they might remember the next time they have to negotiate again, right? But at least that awhile, it's all I got my money. It's a business. I mean, think about what you know you want to get the maximum amount of product for your dollar, and they want to get the maximum amount and they want to get the product for the least amount of dollars they have to spend in finding that middle ground. Is where they need to be. Justin's not mad at the Broncos. I mean, yes, he's disappointed that they didn't get it done. But he's not. There's not a sense of anger at the Broncos, and I'm sure high take radio is so John Elway couldn't close it or whatever it is that they're crapping on away today. That's what they do, because I gotta beg for ratings. I don't have to do that. Here. We just tell you tell you the facts. I can tell you as the one guy. Personally talking to the parties involved. Vette and Nichols was probably the right word. It's agreed to disagree, really isn't agree to disagree kind of thing. I think that my value is this. You're unwilling to give me that. I'm going to play on this tag because that's the contract that's in front of me. But I'm not giving you a hometown discount. Want to do it again? Betting on yourself usually works out in the NFL. So I got two things for you. Here. The 1st 1 is I don't know if anybody else paid attention to this today. But the franchise tag deadline yet 14 players Only two of them got deals. So for Broncos fans out there that are maybe just a little bit frustrated or upset to the Broncos weren't able to close weren't able to get something done, which is the first time in John Elway's 10 years. GM. That they didn't get a franchise tag player on extension right before things, so this is not. This is new territory for John, too, because this isn't like I think that they came into this with the idea of we're not going to get just extended, they said all this time. He's a guy that we want to build around. He's big in the community, or Walter Payton, Man of the year nominee. He's absolutely gonna be here and so Fans that are saying, Oh, no, they miss their window. This guy's going to be gone by next year. He's not and take a look at the rest of league. This is on ly mirroring what most teams are doing right now, as they take a look at the economic impact of covert. No, I don't think that you don't think I mean you could be disappointed the situation. I still think they're going to get a long term deal dot after this season. But there was misinformation out there all over the place. Let me let me clear some of that up right now. One they can't negotiate during the season. Sauce umber reporting at tweeting on that, Um, that's incorrect. They cannot so the now they cannot negotiate until after the 2020 year To, um the idea that there was some kind of current negotiation going on. There wasn't The last offers that were exchanged came through in late April. There haven't been new offers presented. Both sides have just kind of stood firm on that, and I will tell you that as of what was it yesterday or day before? Whatever I came on the Angels on Monday. Monday. Whatever day it was my day Azaz one PM that day, both sides had come to the agreement that he was going to be playing on the tag. The idea that there was new negotiations going on yesterday and today is false. No word that there was no negotiation. Nothing new to report. No. What people on Twitter trying to trying to run up the clack and get some clout off talking about things. They don't know what they're talking about. I'm telling you right now that is that is not what happened. Both.

"The rim shot 20 seconds late. I'm okay with it. You know why Because I am just looking at me expectantly for some other kind of answer, Basically, who was going to give you a real answer? No, I I had high expectations and I should have lowered them. Immediately he big time to keep owning our poll question. You can find right now at K O a Colorado. What's your reaction to Ben's report that Justine Simmons, the Broncos aren't expected to agree on a long term deal ahead of the deadline. Basically neck and neck between frustrated and content. Content with a small margin. Fine, kind, interesting content that he's still abroad go. Almost 46%. Frustrated, huge mistake is around 43%. And guess how much you pray can buy the math want to Seymour anyways? Almost 11% want to Seymour from Justine Simmons before the Broncos give him an extension. That seems odd to me. On DH. Maybe it's people who kind of echo Steve sentiments and that they're looking for somebody is amore sure, tackler. But that's not really the role of safety and like, with all due respect to Steve Atwater, Hall of Famer Steve would be a linebacker in this defense. Like that. That's the position that he would play in the NFL now is linebacker. Which is you know which would be strangers because he played that So you know, e It's tough to The old schoolers. I want guys to hit and I get that and I do, too. But at the end of the day, he's not. He's a rangy Pass coverage safety that that's what he is. He's a rangy zone guy. And he was getting misused. By Jill Woods Advance when they put him in, man Because that's not really his thing. They were just he was the best athlete they had. We're short on corners. So you know that was the point. "So one of the things the only big drawback I see on this, and I think everybody would like to see Justine Simmons be a Bronco for life or even just get the extension that he is. Deserve it. But the thing that Pops out to me in this is that The Broncos have shown the ability and, more specifically, John Elway's shown the ability to wait until the price tag goes up when you probably could have had it a little bit cheaper. Now we know that some of the factors of next year's salary cap there are there other things at play here, but it's not like the price tag is going to go down unless there's an injury Unless there's a different performance. There's probably not going to be a different performance. So you really at this point Think that the only reason that he beginning less than 12. 13 million or close to top safety money is only because of injury. But let's just say he doesn't get hurt. Then the price tag is only going to go up. Other safety's will get paid. And you're going to be once again in position that the Broncos have found them since elves in several times watching the market gets set for you, That's the problem I have with this Right. You're you're either somebody who in the NFL you there's somebody who sets the market or some ofyour reacts to it. And they're smart is John Elway years about making enquiries in the price tag on just about every player out there and making sure he knows the price of everything? I I find I have a serious bone to pick with him not being aggressive with his guys. Justine Simmons is a homegrown Broncos draft pick all pro safety. The salary cap is not a concern. You are way under. It will be winter next year and all by the way, you've got a Kansas City team. We just wrapped up Pat Mahomes and Chris Jones. I want to get to that in a second year on mega deals with, like, 20 bucks left on the cap. The cap isn't imaginary. If you've got enough cash, the cap is an imaginary number anyway, because your next question because you could just convert And go from there, but the broadcast thing, But the brokers are way way under the cap, So the only thing you could say left is either They don't feel comfortable putting that amount of money going into next year because they don't feel like they had the cash going forward. Which I can't see as things since they just signed three sports book betting partners, one of which is better. MGM. You can use my code Benjamin 100 Ben mgm dot com. Another one title sponsor the show Bad, Fred. I mean, you said to cut me off. No, no, it's okay. You're gonna bet MGM Benjamin 100 met friends. Also part of the show. We got a code for soon, Okay? So while the while they're waiting on that you could just get involved in the action right now. Engine like, um, they got empower field on the stadium. They have plenty of revenue. Streams coming in right now. And you would feel like that Those would provide the cash infusion of cash where the problem was not cash. Those will hold on for the people that are listening right now. They don't understand what we're talking about the difference between cash and cap. Salary cap is the number you cannot exceed with your combined money. Cashes the physical cash. You have the outlay If you sign a player And money in that contract is fully guaranteed. As a team. You have two weeks. To put that money into escrow. You have to have every penny of that put into an escrow account. So you have to have the cash that you're guaranteeing a player. At the time that they signed. You have tohave that in physical cash, and some teams don't have a lot of cash. Some teams operate on a low cash flow and try to get through. The Chargers, for instance, are a team like that They don't have a lot of cash. Raiders. Honestly, the NFC West outside of Kansas City is that kind of cash strapped division. The Broncos have notoriously been that way. A team that hasn't had an abundance of cash. And that's how you wonder why teams like the Eagles seemed to be able to cram everybody in out of the cab. How do they do it? Peters? They convert people sour. They convert your base salary to a signing bonus. Using his cash because that cash flushes out of salary cap. But they had the cash to do that The Rams could do that. They loaded. The Cowboys could do it if it wanted to Eagle's Khun Do it. Teams are loaded with cash in circumvent the cap in a lot of ways by doing that, by converting salaries that get up and move it. I don't get too deep in the know that it's an important distinction, and that's what we're talking about. And I just want to make sure people understand that because we we both agree and you take a look at this. Their salary cap position seems favorable. It seems like they could fit Justine Simmons in this year plenty and then next year, even if a dips and he does go down, it shouldn't be enough of the Broncos should be panicked about it, And that's where I think A lot of people are a little bit confused. As John Elway. Vic Fangio, the The Broncos have been very Adam how they feel about Justine Simmons. Justine Simmons that meanwhile same both sides want this done. The fan base wants this done. And yet we're in a holding pattern, so I think it's appropriate to question it. Just take a second. The pause and say, Why is it happening? The way it's going? Why? Why is this going down this way? And what we understand it.

"I reported back in December at the end of December that the Denver Broncos we're going to explore franchise tagging Justine Simmons and per Justine Simmons directly to me in person that he was going to sign that tag. If a long term deal is not reached, he would not be holding out. He would play on the tags. So as that has obviously played out now, you know, I don't know what month we in July. It's 2020. It feels like it's been 20 years just this month. No kidding it. You know, it happened exactly how Justin told me I was going to happen. So you know if you ever Want the news on how that stuff's gonna work. You can come right here and get a direct source alone. Considering the way the Broncos have run things with franchise tags in the past, A lot of people were expecting multiyear deal. I'll tell you this. The Denver Broncos are a little hesitant. Based on the uncertainty of the cap number next year. Ah, and I think they're content with the known commodity of riding, go ahead and riding on their franchise tag. They may still put one more offer in front of him. There was some conflicting reports. There's certainly some reports at their last week I saw about Ah, that were totally wrong. But About them, offering him a multiyear deal. They may put another offer in front of me. I don't think they're going to from what I understand from both sides of the House. I think both sides are pretty confident that this is where it's going to go. Also, Broncos just get some kind of news that changes things or the leave, decides that they're going to go ahead and take care of some of those salary cap issues. Now, you know, I think you're probably going to see Justin Plan the franchise tax here, which again like I was going back to the way they've handled things in the past with sour with thes franchise tag most time they get a deal done right before the deadline, which is going to be next Wednesday. In this case, this might be the one exception. There's not a but more because of what's going on with the NFL and the salary cap. Not so much with Justin and the team. Yeah, team desperately wants to keep and he wants to stay. I saw a ludicrous Thing out that it was just a rumor. But whatever I saw some absolutely ludicrous nonsense has said that Justine Simmons didn't want to be a Bronco or some some absolute bunk like that. Guys put down the blowtorch radio stuff, you know. I mean, their ratings are bad enough as it is. It's you don't you don't need you don't need to help that They don't You know, it's it's It bothers me that people have to make stuff like that up. Justin wants to be a Bronco. He loves the city. Demory loves playing for the Broncos. He loves organization, the coaching staff everything about it. I can tell you Firsthand that any notion that he doesn't want to be a Bronco is absolutely silly. And whoever put that out, should be ashamed of themselves in a tender doesn't signify anything other than he's going to be here for this year is not holding out. That's that's that's right. That's all that says, and it's in his best interest just to say okay. I'm going to sign the tenders to make the 11 million that want to make this year. I'm going to be a Bronco for 2020 and we'll roll from there. The long term deal can happen at any point in this next year. The July 15. I mean, that's the thing he could play play the year out on the tender. They can decide to make a given offer later on, they decide franchise tag him again next year. But all this is mostly contingent right now. On whether or not the salary cap is going to be a significant next year's. We think of Mike well, and here is that I don't think it's going to be. Obviously there's going to be a drop in revenue. But the NFL has several mechanisms to negate a gigantic droppin the cap, which would severely hurts and teams So you know you could borrow against future years. There are all kinds of different mechanisms that they could do and again, the broadcasting rights bumps that they're going to get it going to help mitigate a lot of this anyway. Most of the revenue in the NFL comes from broadcasting rights not from in person. Attendance. So and I think most people don't realize that if the average fan doesn't is based on people I've talked to, like, just be out somewhere. And people always asking that question when you guys know that like that accounts for a very minute portion of actual revenue, right? So I think people don't understand that they're broadcasting rights are really where these teams make their money. Whether it's television or radio, and you can listen. Obviously the Broncos right here on the official Bronco station K Way Couple techs here before you move on this from Chris saying, Nice to have Nicky on. We've been cool to have her on more. Hey, if were up to us after us, we would have that's not in us thing. Believe me. This one. I thought you guys broke up over the Ted convo last night. Glad you're glad you guys made it. Now, listen that honestly, I I did some thinking about that conversation. We can't. We came at it from a couple of different directions. This article from a Ted win the athletic breaking down, so I think long a Ted talk job was taken away in time, but, yeah, Ted Wynn conversation about Drew lock you in. Did some film breakdown your perspective on it my perspective on it. We'll talk to Ted amended Monday about it, and I read the article as okay. Well, there were certain things I had in mind about. The way Drew like progressed that when, after reading that article, I'm going through some of the stuff. He broke down. I said, Well came well, maybe maybe hasn't come as far as I was giving him credit for. You came out from the other way of No, I'm going to give him a pass on some of those things understanding the circumstances. End of year Coming off. I r a all that stuff. It's just different for some of this is a radio marriage, you know, and sometimes couples to get a bigger that's gonna argue sometimes gonna think something should be done by the other partner. You know, maybe maybe I just got done mowing the grass and I don't want to do the dishes. Ryan. Maybe you just got done folding the laundry and you don't want to do dishes, either, but the dish has got to get done. So we argue about it..

"Jo, congratulations to Justine Simmons. But not really. Justin just signed his franchise tender, which is going to pay him. I believe, who've $11 million somewhere in that neighborhood, and they still have Until Wednesday to get a long term contract done. So Justin, just doing the same thing that deck Prescott did with the Dallas Cowboys in signing the franchise tag tender and knock on wood. We can get a deal done. Before the time is up, but an interesting question. Is the Corona virus, stopping Justine Simmons from getting a long term deal because of the financial uncertainty. That is out there right now, And we know that You know? The reason the NFL is never going to Um Truly tell you the amount of money that is being made by each one of these clubs. No. There's ticket Rev. There's merchandise. There's FNB. There's parking There's a number of different ways that that money is made. From these teams. The TV deal is off the charts. Obviously. But what if? What if there aren't all these games? What if the entire season doesn't get played? What if There's a situation like we have with Major League baseball, where all of a sudden We go from a giant amount of games to 60 Well, One thing was brought up on the NFLPA A conference call today that Josina Anderson put out Was that one of the things that the players have discussed If the NFL asked them to escrow, a portion of their funds is to strike. Mmm. I want no part of that. I mean, no part of that. No, that would get ugly at that point. Here. Here's Who's Here's how it's going to be really bad for if you Somehow negotiated a long term deal and you got it done before all hell broke loose. And everything went a little bit crazy. You're in good shape. If you're right now, in the process of negotiating in your name's not Patrick Mahomes. You're not getting your money. You're probably not getting paid, and by the way, and by the way, that price tag is probably going down, not up based on the economics of the game. Which could be completely Not off the ledge, depending on how things turn out this season. And let's be honest unless the NFL unless there's some sort of miracle, and there's a vaccine that comes out in the next couple of months. The most any stadiums are gonna have is 25% which means they're losing 75% of that revenue, plus whatever else was in and around that, and there's no way that they can make up all of that they can put as many signs in the first. 34 rows of the of the stands that they want their not making up that money that comes from the fans buying those tickets. You know, it's just not going to happen, and by the way you were correct on Justine Simmons, it's 11 point for $4 million. The top five safeties basically make around 14 to $15 million. So that's the range that you'd be looking at. If the Denver Broncos were Teo do a long term deal with him, they would need to be in that range and they're just not doing it right now. And what's the shame is is if they do lose money this year or they don't make nearly as much Is. Guess what Justin Simmons ain't getting next year, either. Most likely And that's the that's the scariest part of it all. You know, the thought was that Justine Simmons? I was hoping, you know. Look, they may he made ah. He made a lot of great improvements last season. I mean, Justine Simmons was rated in the top a bunch of top categories. When you look at a pro football focus in the way that they They rate and Numerically give you a grade. Fine. How you play. Justine Simmons was right up there. Justin Simmons was top two top three in a number of categories. He's a great player. There's no doubt about it and in a perfect world. If none of this Corona virus had happened, they probably do a long term deal with him, and everybody has pointed out. Everybody that John Elway is tagged, has eventually worked out a long term deal with Herbie Von Miller, where they would be de Marius Thomas and the like. I think there's been five or six of them, and all of them have worked at a long term deal. So you would expected Justine Simmons to do the same. But this whole Corona virus has put a big time. Hurt into what's goingto happen. Going forward with these players. I put it down here on the run down. The NFL in the NFLPA. They still have a number of things to come together on before they report on July 28th that includes preseason games testing protocols. Potential potential salary give backs. They also need to address with her and when players can opt out for the 2020 season, so this is a long way from getting finalized. Now they do have time. Obviously, what is today the tent so they have 18 days to figure it all out, but all of those issues have to be done. Before July 28th. Otherwise, it might make sense to push this back a little bit and have them work out their differences, which if they if they paid attention to all, it's a baseball This should have been done Probably a while ago. Here's the scary Here's the scary thing. That concerns me as somebody who He is longing for the game of football to return. I wanted to return on time, I think, as most fans D'oh Yes, I wanted to return. In the safest possible matter manner, So that way it doesn't go away. But do you know how many times I mean? How many days they have Kouf? 18. Okay. Do you know how many times Major League Baseball had 10 days, 14 days, 21 days. You know, a month, two months to get something done, and they didn't get it done in any of them. Then get it done in any of those days now granted. It would be like Training camp, starting for the Broncos, then plane. Three of their four preseason games it getting stopped in the regular season. Never taking place. That's what Major league baseball Just went through. But in this case.

"Well into God yeah becoming Rev. I wasn't trying to become reverend. I was just trying to go to church but in the Black Church. You do something you`re. GonNa you're GONNA join the ministry so I didn't know how that worked but next thing you know I was so into the church. I ended up with a collar around my neck. I never really urge. What was that. Like you know We had joy and privilege of going on the breakfast club with you. Back in two thousand fifteen and then talked about the real news that you bring to the hip hop community. You have one but in the secular world but you bring that fake with you everywhere you go colleagues have been. Um You know. I'm the word secular means that you're not doing something for God so my foot in the secular world my foot is firmly in God. It's just whatever I do. I give God glory. Yeah Yeah Okay. So so at the end of the day I still got my flavor and I think God you know God is running runners. God God has oh yes. My wife made the joke that I told her she said. Tell your PA. A plumber does and use the Bible fix to sink. Oh look down and then you get it. Yeah bill a plumber and you know he has to us. You know so when I'm rapping. I'm not pulling out the Bible to wrap right right but I could put some scriptures in there but basically I'm all though you're walking the walk in between with make the big different for people that see you because they're gonNA wonder what gives you what you know you have that makes him dynamics so it raises questions and doesn't that bring people closer in. Yeah that's why we did run south but we didn't show US GOING TO CHURCH. We didn't we didn't we. Didn't show you if People WanNa see what you do not hear. So they'd look at what you're doing. They'll mimic it better than you try to teach them. They they do what you do what you WanNa do you Gotta. Yours is doing right. I've loved watching that. Walk it out Germany. Back you walk out..

You know what it's so exciting because I have seen you. And just the REV more and more in the spotlight as a couple and it's exciting to me because you guys have been married. How long these six years an initiative? Wow you know what? You should be congratulated just on that day in. Good the fact that you've been able to do it in the entertainment world is nothing to sneeze at when you agree. Yeah I I guess it's but we work together so it's a little easier for some people like I'd be run. Bmc But I do a lot of my work with my wife so that makes it easier right right and you know when I started working when he died what maybe four years ago maybe five. I haven't been counted when we were doing work for. At he met you first but it wasn't too much longer after that that we met. Just yes 'cause she's always around me so true and I love it. You know what before we get to end of his conversation? Why don't we have a moment? Where do you think okay awesome awesome? Okay I'm looking at this morning and afford love is is. Am Valentine's Day. And one of the number one trending. Hack Day right now. It's happy Ballantine's Day time for us to talk about your New Book. Love Shy we're ready. Yeah so what does old school love mean to you? Own School of the book is basically saying that the old school principals years ago before the break was so high still work mold. School love and why it works. We find that through our church that we go to and through the biblical principles and through the teachings from mentors of just principles in the Bible. Like one of the principals are Don't go to bed mad and that in the Bible and you would think that. Yeah that's just cliche. My wife always says she thought it was Cliche but the truth is at the end of the day. We'll tell them what you mean. Just the more the more you go to bed mad the more can go to bed. Mad At one day can turn to two days and three days so when they used to say it back in the day. That's what they meant. You'll wake up angry And another in another principle is. How can to walk together unless they agreed? Can so you have to be on the same page Jamaica? So that's how to walk together and agree. It's almost like yes you can look in each other's eyes. Oh I love you. They said it's so romantic. Look into her. But it's not so much looking into each other's eyes it's looking in the same direction Average together and Lotta Times of men and women. We see those red flags before we get married or decide that person to be your boyfriend or girlfriend and we still go with it instead of saying this is a red flag. We don't see eye to eye. Yeah you know what a word you that you're looking in the same direction that that's the word right. There and I noticed in the book that each of the chapters start with the Scripture yes you know Scriptures. Abed to govern the basis of the book. The book is old school. Love me responsible love all school. That Bible actually had very good teachings about love in scripture in there about love that love for God comedy and that's why I be great for the campaign that we worked on. Atm teat Politics Fire Mobility. I love to see you guys join forces and writing this book in the beginning and says twenty eighteen. You guys society. Let's do this and you decided to write this book. Tell us what went into that decision. we were working and working and working as you know Red Bruns renovation. Reverend's cooking show re runs traveling. Then we did the Washington's on that once we got a break in God gave us a break after all about the Washington's plane and didn't get picked up the second season. It's okay let's go to what God has been saying to us for so long to write a book. Not Only God would. People had a lot of people were on his instagram twitter. Facebook saying please. You know y'all she'd write a book or you guys should have conferences around the world and so we and and if we're in a street they would say the same thing so we said well now's the great tag if the popular demanding we did it because the people wanted it. Yeah well and you know. I noticed that you started shifting your content on instagram and on twitter from not just words of wisdom. You were giving them relationship if I do. Yeah I do the book retirees and but even before that I was giving relationship like not only advice I was just talking to my wife so you would just hearing me talk out loud and I'm GonNa get a pleasing if things that work in my marriage. Possibly it could work for people that following me on social media right so you know and and a lot of people have that that image of you in the bathtub with your blackberry. At the time you know tweeting out Words of wisdom and so many of those were relationship and family oriented right they were they were relationship with Barrett family oriented and I went from that blackberry Tub twos. I was sending messages to actual friends of Mine and and entertainers and people to say oh. Snap twitter's around. I don't need to send it to people like that. Could reach the whole world from twitter and instagram and facebook and social media. Got Very big. I stopped sending out the emails. Because all you gotTa do is go to my twitter and everybody can get the word and you know one of the things that always loved about you that only kept their real and you know being one of those. I really Successful reality shows run. Run out we really weren't being the real thing Iran and when I met you guys I was so pleased though. You're the same. Yeah people say that. All the time yeah. What you see is what you get that what you were seeing on runs house. Yes so you guy have in a divided into the lovely at all sorts of kinds of that makeup. The concept of you want to go out. Well there's one I don't even know if in the book called responsible for me old school love now and love in. General is grown folks business. You know if you're GONNA get into a relationship you gotta be responsible. You gotta be there. You've got to be there to my texts you gotTA. You can't just be responsible in marriage or in just any type of relationship it takes two to be on point for each other or you're better off single. This book is not just for married folk. It's well people who WANNA get into a relationship or thinking about getting into a relationship but this is perfect for me. I want to know. Would you guys have? Because ultimately this is your journey to longevity in love about of responsibility you have to not be selfish but self less yet the key you kids relationship break up because one person says my way or the highway and also give and take you know. We put in a lot of things that make our marriage work like we're constantly looking out for one another at home looking to see if he's happy he's checking me to see him. I'm happy and you really can't go wrong like a lot of uh arguments. They're like they're little things. They're not big blowing before. Was that your phone watching. Can't I have your cold? You know those. Get big problems in your marriage so a lot of people say so. What are the big things? We don't have those big blowout for number one. We're both not cheating because fearful of God. We're not yet fearful of one another full of God. I yeah and you know what I am. Been very fortunate to being present and a few different kinds of contact whether you guys were sacked days in essence or even at your home. That was amazing. The love is real. And you're right y'all have little bitty you know little bitty things and I think at some point there was something about holding your bag and and it was funny. Yeah I know. It's so funny because he has no filter so we're out where we get into some type of argument if you've been around us a few hours Because he has no filter and I always tell them today. But you can't argue in front of people but you know have well. You married an emcee right so concert. The word that just GonNa flow right wrist. I gotta say it. It's gotTa happen. She want to get home by that time that he went down. Let me get it out because you mary while he would right. No I I I mean when you first when I first met him only this Kurdish slow yes I was GONNA say okay when we workflow okay and then when we got back together part of Randy and.
