I've been a fan of Odell. He's not a bad person. Does he do some stupid things like that Interview with Justina Anderson a little way in Absolutely. Does he bring a lot of attention to himself? Sure, Ultimate, though, and the one time I was able to be with him at a charity event, I saw the good side of Odell Beckham spent like an hour hour and a half with them. I think he does a lot more good than bad. I don't think is bad is detrimental. But it was an ugly end in New York and so far in Cleveland, it's been very disappointing and for the Browns I'm going to get a Nick Chubb back soon. Baker Mayfield play Well last week played great last week to start no for five finishes. Game 20 to 23 with five passing touchdowns. He got Jarvis Landry. There you got Karim Hunt. You've got some serious players and you got a team that should make the playoffs just stinks that Odell Beckham will now not be a part of it. "Sunday. Another season The NFL on CBS begins this year. The young quarterback story week one. Creatures. Last year's MVP Lamar Jackson and the Ravens take it off Baker. The Brown Baker's got to show a little self this year. Alan and the Bills trying to take the next step against my jet sand. Donald's gotta show a little something this year. And Cam's debut with the Pats, plus possible rookie debuts. Joe Burrow and to, uh it all starts with the NFL today at noon, Eastern Pacific next Sunday on CBS. We're gonna have to circle back to this, but I just thought we would just talk about Alvin Kamara. Justina Anderson Tweeted 25 minutes ago, I'm told the Saints are open to trading runningback Alvin Kamara. Interesting. Very interesting. We'll get back to it. Maybe the team we're about to chronicle. Maybe they make a call. Maybe they could use him was last year's finished for riel. Will we see to us or when time to dig in on the fins? Let's go. It's time for the Tiki and Tierney NFL training camp two a days as we visit old 32 NFL camps to preview the upcoming season, the Miami Dolphins five and 11 last in the A F. C East. Brian Flores in the Dolphin has exceeded expectations when it appeared they were tanking for two up. But even after five wins, they still landed two prize tied quarterback and to a looks healthy. I'm gonna go out there and compete as if I'm preparing to be the starter, even if I'm not going to be You started right away or the entire season, But I think that has to be the mindset because competition is usually always healthy and and you know, to get yourself better by doing it, But you get the other guy better and get the entire quarter back room. Better that with the fins and high priced free agents Kyle Van Noy, Byron Jones and Shack lost into a young defense. But can Florez live up to the hype and build.

"Some dignity Health official healthcare partner of the San Francisco 40, Niners and Levi Stadium, by the way, one quick note from our friend Justina Anderson. Who comes on the show often Saints, according to her are open to trading Pro bowl running back Alvin Kamara. I don't think that the Niners will be in play. I mean, I really like what the Niners have in the backfield distress you with the addition of McKinnon. And Coleman and most are, But can you imagine a Kyle Shanahan offense with a toy like Alvin Kamara? He's um, awesome. Cavalry's a different cat. But Kamar is right there. Camaro was not healthy last year, there's just no doubt so obviously. It is a contract impasse. We did no wise man not going to practice the last three or four days. McCaffrey gets this huge deal. And you didn't stay healthy. Alvin. I'm sorry, and we don't have to do this when we're in the middle of a pandemic. But I would you're talking about Ah challenge. That is transcendent. He's a great runner. I mean, McKinnon special, but this guy is just so smooth. I you would talk about it. You would talk about it, and then you'd have to figure out how you pay him. And when he come into camp with you like Jamal Adam's got, you know he got he forced himself out of New York. But then when it was time to go to Seattle, he's cool. And I'm called my contract So we can't give you new contract right now. And we trade for you. Are you got away, he took a six million are cut. You go to God weighs about the same players. Alvin Kamara and Jack weighs a good if you just saying from a contract standpoint, like these guys got to realize you can't give they're not giving you the money. You know, Minnesota game 12. He signed the tender, though, right? You got anything in Jacksonville? So he gets the money, right? So that's different, But he's he's He's a good player. But you, you know, you put him next to Daniel Hunter on the other side. Now you're talking. If he singled up, But I could just put my best guy or double him. He's you know. Compare is different. He's Kyle Shanahan would love to get out Kimera. That's something you would think about 25 years old is a great player. I mean, he's a great player, and he's tough. He's a tough runner. There's not a weakness in his game. But you know who could give him a new contract right now? If you trade for him, you gotta come in and play and we'll give it to you in time. Or you'll get tagged and you'll make it. Are you gonna hold out on us, too? Which Jamal Adams? It was I'll show up in Seattle. I don't want to show up in New York without a new contractor. If you trade for him, will he show up and play? This year under his current deal, like Trent Williams, because you can't you can't give new money right now. There's no there's no room. Plus, I mean, if he's looking for anything like McCaffrey, McCaffrey's there was four 60 for 21, a half signing bonus and 38 guarantee And like You said, I'm not getting that was not getting that butt numbers. Yeah, I think he's got to be healthy. He's not healthy. There's a real wise. Why would New Orleans trade him? Wow, clearly that he's probably asking for. I mean McCaffrey's 20 for his 25 like You said he's not healthy, but A lot of times. You know, these guys aren't overly logical. I mean, he probably wants similar money in New Orleans. I mean, it clearly says New Orleans is thinking one thing. He's obviously capitalize thinking another. He she has the talent. I mean, there's no doubt McCaffrey's a great player, commerical be everybody's good. He just has not done it because he's had injuries. But I mean why you would trade him rather than just play buff of love with him, But you know what happened on this date In a couple of years ago, the Raiders traded Khalil Mack. So September. The first it happened, Yeah. Camara for his career averages five yards a carry, which is nice and nice, and he's got it one or more passes for the last three years, so he's really good, But like you said, he's got to stay healthy, and I don't know who would you know? I don't think anybody could give a contract right now, and he'd have to kind of play ball a little bit. But Justin Anderson reporting That he is on the auction block, So we'll see what happens with him all right caboose time, including the CA boost one of the stranger reasons to call 91911 and other Things that are caboose ish. We'll do it next. Only here on the sports leader. You're smart speaker is a radio to hear Papa and London home. Just say your apple pod play KNBR. I told her Kruger and Brooks Soas faras, the Giants being sellers or buyers. Neither one of those materialized. Got what? You've got only a couple out of the final playoff spot. Do they get it? You're close enough to the playoffs with a team's your league making it They might as well go for it, but not everybody be the Padres and make like Trades in 24 hours, The Padres acted like a real major league Baseball club can cue rack of the Padres, Krug.

I'm not trying to defend mike mayock and i'm not saying that mike mayock isn't exactly what you've described but suck is is this also possible and that being that mike mayock and jon gruden whether it was something they saw on the field whether there was something so off the field they something in their universe may alarm wiki win without him we can win without him or this is going to be no good. This is not going to this is not what we thought we were getting. I want i want to get out of this and so they put the wheels in motion to basically start pushing antonio brown's buttons in a very systematic way in a we're gonna find him. "Thanks again to burrow for supporting the show, and you guys for supporting borough. Teas they Ross good morning. Let's start with the story today out of Philadelphia involving Carson wets which born six anonymous teammates, criticized him for being selfish stubborn and playing favorites. Among other things. Right. This is really interesting bright. So from a journalist's standpoint, I'm not really a journalist. I didn't go to j school or anything like that. You know? I'm former player that rights. You know, I I work in the media. I consider myself a broadcaster a multi-platform broadcaster. One of those is I write a column, by the way, my column today is about how important position coaches are. And in particular looks Dante scar Nekia the old line coach for the patriots ahead nine off into line coaches. So encourage you guys to check that out, by the way, I think you'll really like that. But so I understand people need to use anonymous sources at times some I get it. Right. And there was a report from justina Anderson about players not being happy about Wentz in him playing favorites. So this reporter in Philadelphia. Decided to dig deeper on it. That's fine. I do though have to question any teammate of Carson Wentz. Is that going to anonymously bash him to a reporter like really why? I mean, it's a number one. If you have a problem with him, you should probably say to him, maybe even the coaches, but I just don't see the value reason or logic. When you're trying to win a Super Bowl when you want this guy to play well to tell some reporter that I just don't get it to me. It's. It's cowardly. I mean, they're talking about Carson Wentz is accountability. And they're talking about him being selfish. What do you think you're doing when you talk anonymously poorly about a teammate? You're being selfish, and you're not being accountable. I mean, the irony it's rich. It's thick. And I'll say this like he needs a little humility humility is the last thing I would ever think that Carson Wentz needs. So I don't know how much stock to put in this. But I know it's going to be a major topic. Now, it's gotta be awkward for went to when he goes into the locker room. NFL also officially announced their five international games for the twenty nine thousand nine season. Once again, four in London in one in Mexico. Right. That kind of seems to be the deal now Bri the foreign London one in Mexico deal. And you know, I don't know. I mean, it's the usual suspects. Rams lose a home game. Chargers. Lose a home game raiders lose a home game. Jags lose a home game. I can't even remember who the other one is. But basically all the transient teams that don't have their stadiums. Yet. They they give up a home game every year because they don't really have their own stadium yet so usual suspects for all of our great listeners across the pond. I don't think we have that many Mexican listeners probably because they prefer to listen to a Spanish language podcast would be my guess. Stay the titans have their offensive coordinator. Former tight ends coach Arthur Smith, right? I can chime in on this Arthur was with the Redskins. When I was there the end of my career in two thousand seven he played offense of line at North Carolina. He's an awesome guy. Very bright. Very hard working has survived through a bunch of different head coaches in Tennessee. And he is just a grinder. I mean stays up all hours in the night. He loves it. He's a grinder and breakable solve that and variable thought I want to have some continuity for Mario. And Arthur Smith has been the NFL ten plus years now and he's earned this opportunity. And I think yes side note, by the way that not a lot of people know, it's not that relevant. But his dad is Fred Smith who's CEO FedEx and. I guess part part owner of the Redskins. So says a lot of Arthur Smith in his work ethic that he's been a coach and put all that time in and all those low level jobs to work up to this point really really happy for him. You would never know talking him ever that his dad CEO FedEx or whatever ever. Takes keeping in the AFC..

"Because I mean, that's the guy who made the biggest play in eagles history and guy who like I think that so undersold to like just you know, this guy said he was a bus. He never really was. He was hurt. You know, when that kind of got him off to a slow start than it used in the weird scheme change and all that and like Email the biggest player in franchise history. And obviously, we the same initials. So I'm biased, but maybe maybe the guy like that takes a team friendly deal. Now, I don't know you can ever count on that. It's just you know, some of these guys that you might be able to get away with that getting can't really count on it. But it's not impossible. So a lot of this is to say the you'll have some tough decisions to make this season. And I don't think there's clear answer on him. And I think that's can sit for any off-season in general. But it wasn't really like that this past year. Like, we knew they're going to probably lose Trey Burton and the like we knew they're gonna lose these guys because. Yeah, they didn't have a tiny caps face. And other teams we're gonna be one of those guys because you'll just want Super Bowl. And there, you know, those guys are going to be even more valuable free agency, everyone sees Super Bowl in ring all that. And that's even more. So they're gonna some tough decisions to make. And it's going to be sad. I mean, you could look at Jason Peters to what if he decides to hang it up. Finally, he keeps saying every year that ease on a year to year basis. So there's a lot of guys on Sunday that we could pen tensely be saying for the last time and that'll be sad. But hopefully, they go out on a high note when the season does end we'll be talking about these guys a lot more when we're going over off season plans for this team because they have some decisions they have to make with some guys here some of them like you mentioned Super Bowl heroes and others who just joined the team this year and haven't done a whole lot. But one guy that last thing before we get to the injury report looking ahead to the game on Sunday. Some interesting news about a former eagle who might want to come back to Philadelphia to Sean Jackson apparently wants out of Tampa. And the eagles are rumored as. Landing spot. And I know there was a lot of conversation around the trade deadline about the eagles. Maybe looking at the Sean Jackson as a potential trade candidate because he is a field stretcher when somebody something that the eagles desperately need and Jackson is a guy who's going to miss a few games every year due to injury. It's just kind of where he is in his career. He's always been a little bit fragile. But when he's in there, he's still is that guy Beal Jeevan as he gets older. He still has that speed how much longer he'll have it for who knows? But is this is this something you see happening this offseason dish on coming back? Definitely think he's interested. That's that's the angle that we've seen from justina Anderson's report who reported that he wants out of Tampa Bay, and he sold his house apparently the Buxton cut him this off-season for ten million savings zero in dead money..
