"Yeah, honestly, Michael and wenu tackle eligible. We talked about how maybe that was the call last week when he false started. Great opportunity, great game for something like that. My other point is just to move on from the game Pro Bowl, awesome for JC Jackson. Should have got his first last year. They should rename the Pro Bowl, the Matthew slater postseason football invitational exhibition or whatever, just name it. Like, I don't know, is there a Pro Bowl MVP trophy? Yeah, absolutely. I think there's an offensive and defensive MVP at the Pro Bowl sometimes. Okay, well, even that may be at the pro bowls ironic, but yeah that's not a thing. I'm trying to look right here, but you are right. All right. Well, it's time to add a special team's MVP and name with Matthew slater trophy. And then who am I missing? Could we forget? Matthew judean patriots only team the league with two players named Matthew and the Pro Bowl, they didn't so there's two guys I think that they really missed on. Therefore didn't make it because Justin Tucker's name has more brand value. And Justin Tucker is awesome. It talks been better. Nick folks been better this year by just about any measure. I think his Devin mccordy. Maybe because he had kind of a rough game against the colts, but I think outside of that Houston game, which was, as he said, you know, kind of the work. I think he called it the worst game he's ever played. Outside of that Democrat has been excellent this year and when you look at all the new pieces on defense, he's really the guy coordinating that. And I know high towers are part of it, but even he didn't play last year. I attribute so much of the defense's successes here. The number one defensive football. I attribute so much of that success to Devin McCourty. And I know that players don't get selected to the Pro Bowl off of what they do in leadership or making plays away from the ball, which is a lot of what Devin mccordy does, but he's been here for over a decade now. I think this is one of the best seasons he's ever played. I thought he deserved that recognition. I'm not surprised he didn't get it. Again, the whole story goes, but he's been real. "Just watched a pretty boring sheets Broncos game on a Sunday Night, but the day itself was pretty fun. And as usual, it had something in common with the last couple Sundays for me. I ended up losing money, but I don't want to start there. Let's start with the ravens steelers game, which was the weirdest game of the day. I don't know what was going on with Lamar Jackson. Roethlisberger was half decent in Romo is acting like he's, you know, Tom Brady against the falcons. You know, this is a big win for the Steelers. Ben looks great. He's like 236 yards, no picks. I guess means he's great. It all leads to the steroid scoring too soon. The ravens somehow coming back, they score a touchdown and then it's like, oh fuck it, they're gonna go for this. They're gonna do the two point and Lamar misses Andrews. They lose the game. Right call or wrong call. I think it's, I think it's the right call. I know a lot of people are gonna be like, you have Justin Tucker, you have the better offense. You have, you know, so what up the Steelers when the toss? You've been stopping them pretty well. Except for that last drive or two. But the past was there. I mean, it was almost there. It should have been there. That was a great, great play call, just not executed. Good move. Probably Harbaugh probably felt a, my brother, I got this. I got this juice. We have what's opposite of the Cuomo's right now, right? Going for us. I'm just gonna. It's a bizarro bizarro. I like it. The harbors. And it just didn't just barely didn't work. But it just goes to show you that it's insane how close those games are, regardless of how bad the quarterbacks are, how bad the offenses are and everything else, it's always a one point game. I think the last 5 years with the analytics going into just be more and more aggressive and go for two points more and just like go, go, go. Let's do it. Be macho. Try to grab this game by the balls. And then on top of it like the culture that we're in now where it's like gambling gamma gambling, gambling is legal now in 18 states. We talked about gambling all the time at the ringer. You have an entire site devoted to gambling. And shut it down though. I might shut it down. I don't know. There's like a recklessness now because if I'm the ravens, I've won every close game I've been in this year, basically. I'm lights out, I've Tucker. I have Roethlisberger on the other end. Who hasn't thrown a pick yet, even though my I've touched like 8 of the passes that he started in this game. But I somehow haven't gotten the pick yet. And I just feel like I'm kind of built for these over time, go back and forth situations. And I didn't think Lamar was playing that well. Yeah, to me, that's like, yeah, on paper it makes sense to go for it. I get it. But I watch the entire game while I watch most of the game. I have a story about that later. I didn't think Lamar played that well. And you're putting the ball in his hands to win or lose the game. I think he would have won an overtime. He probably would have won it over time. I think there's decent points on both sides, but let's go back to what we always say. What do the opposing fans want at that point? I think if I'm the Steelers, I'm shitting when you see Tucker come on, Tucker come off. They call time out. They're screwing around with them a little. And then Lamar stays on the field. I don't know. I think both steelers fans would want to go to overtime too. Interesting because of the fear of the moment or because you know you think they're going to get it because I was looking at it like I was reading for the stairs because the past are now the number one seed in the AFC, which will last for another 1819 hours. They could lose the buffalo and drop to four. They will. Or 5. They will. Yeah, I think so. That's a snad remark. No, it's not. I'm just judging and we can go over this later, but just put the tone of our texts and everything. Way, way, way too fool yourself right now. Not overconfident. All right, we'll talk about that later. I was rooting for Pittsburgh. I wanted Baltimore to go for it because I thought if it went overtime, I thought I was game over. Because Tucker and overtime is the biggest weapon in the sport, right? You just have to get to like, what, the 40 45 yard line of the opposite side and you're in focal range. I don't know about that. There has gone all the way down. The stewards, it takes them ten quarters to score 20 points. 18, I don't know. I just would have mojo. I think hardball's like, hey, steelers suck. And my team wins close games no matter what, so why don't I just end it now? I don't know. A little arrogant. Go either way. Yeah, for sure. I'll tell you one thing. One magical thing that happened other than Roethlisberger at leaked out that this was probably his last season we could have guessed that. And then he had no K game. And it seemed like strangely emotional game because it was kind of the playoffs around the line for them, it felt like.

Only michael badgley. All right it is time for the lightning is round. We are going to start this one with the chiefs traveling to philadelphia where they They know they still have some issues. Defensively i think. But i don't know i really don't think this team's outlook has changed significantly From what they we thought they were preseason. This is a forty two thirty victory on the road in philadelphia. And that's That's that yeah. I think that's right. Gary but definitely still some stuff to sort out on defense. This was a good game for them to sorta get back on track a little bit after some surprising losses in the first three weeks of the season and it was an ice homecoming for andy reid to win at the team that once fired him so all of those things to get a little bit more. Good vibes after a bumpy. Start to the air. Yeah into with philadelphia. I do think that jalen hurts is not playing horribly. I think this was a bad team and we thought they were bad. Going in but in a promising sense you know outside of the atlanta win. That gave us a little bit of false hope. Jalen hurts in devante smith or playing pretty well and so what else do you want. I mean putting up some points and they're hanging in these game certainly. I mean it was within striking distance for much of the game. I think if you're jeffrey lori and you don't have delusions of grandeur at this point. I think this was a nice outing just to see the team somewhat competitive and it probably leads you to believe that i you know you probably do come out of the season thinking. That jalen hurts by your guide. Moving forward the ravens go out to denver twenty three seven victory. This was look for all the injury issues. the raymond's have had and the fact that they have really squeaked out there last two wins. Maybe they stole one from the chiefs on a sunday night. they certainly probably stole one in detroit alliance. That isn't very good last week. With the justin tucker field goal but this was fairly dominant victory out in denver. And maybe the broncos were not world-beater despite the three zero record and they did lose teddy bridgewater to a concussion in the first half of this one but this race events kinda just controlled this game Throughout and. I don't know this this ravens team. I guess they're just somebody said for. I don't know. Did you chuck it up to. Just you know a coaching staff. That basically knows how to solve problems. Is it a culture thing where you just win ten games every year so it doesn't matter who you running out there or you know they just they. They were incredibly impressive in this one. Yeah and i really loved that. John harbaugh had them run that final play to keep their streak of one hundred rushing games alive. Because i think that just shows that that is important to this team. It's part of their identity. It's part of the way they win games. And that's why they've been successful with lamar jackson because they were willing to go all in on this different kind of offense..

"That could only happen to the lions that way. They should've called the delay of game pushing out of field goal range and and then they would have been a hail mary. I did not think the cleveland browns looked particularly sharp. Offensively in this one but Defensively this was a complete overwhelming of the bears lineup front and it kind of raises the question. Okay just feels naveh chance in this one. Would anyone have had a chance in this one or young or maybe a better way to approach how they were going to attack this browns defense here. This game. stunned me in terms of Matt nagy in general. Like i i've never like vacillated so much On my opinion of one person as a coach at back and forth as i do with bat. Nagy like sometimes like wow. He took mitch trubisky to the playoffs twice. He's a good coach. Wait until he gets a good player but then in a game like this. It's like a. How could you start. Justin fields because We talked about this last week. I think he got a lot of flak for saying that. Andy dalton mrs starter and i think we recognize our role is like a collective body of press in saying that like we were probably initially some of the people that rolled our eyes at this because justin feels really talented. But there's a reason he did that right in because the offensive line can block anybody. They can't sustain blocks And they're gonna get consistently beat off the edge and so why wouldn't you have played. Nick foles like that that to me should have been one a and one b is if you're playing justin fields y you running the same offense. That doesn't make any sense to me either. Like why don't you. Accentuate some of the things that can get him out of the pocket and play on the pressure. Like we've seen some coaches who designed things assuming that people are going to jet upfield and destroy. "The Jets may be getting something right. I know. I know. It's amazing that they kind of got something right. We are talking about what happened in the divisional round yesterday. The Packers beating the Rams 32 to 18. The virtuoso performance from Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Donald. Hi It's hard to feel bad for a £300 man crying. But I feel bad for that guy like Aaron Donald Him not being able to play yesterday. The way that he's a customer playing. He played like a third of the snaps, or about half of the snaps that he ordinarily plays. For the Rams. I felt horrible for him. You want to see what that defense at full strength could do against Green Bay? And you just didn't get it? Because Of that sack against Russell Wilson that ends up hurting his ribs. And you saw like the special patting the Aaron Donald was wearing. I don't know if any of it was going to help it. It sucked to see one of the best players in the league not be able to play his best. So the Packers advanced to the NFC title game they will host next week. We'll talk more about them coming up in a little bit. Bills advanced to the A F C title game for the first time in almost 30 years. They beat the Ravens, 17 and three this. It looks worse than it actually was because you had Justin Tucker Miss a couple of field goals. In the game because the wind was super crazy. In Buffalo. Josh Allen did just enough. And Maurin importantly, the bills defense got after it yesterday, and they get the Terran jobs in 101 yard. "Not the plan. I don't believe going into this, but you know the way that it played out right now a close game. I don't think most people would have expected 33 a half time but You know, this Buffalo team is really dangerous and following up on the performance that they had, particularly defensively down the stretch there in the fourth quarter against the Colts and the You know the Hail Mary Pass break up after they, you know, had the penalty and then give Philip Rivers a fresh set of downs last week like I That game was coming down to the wire to begin with. Off loans of escaping that you know by a three point win, But this defense can play close games in ways that they might not have been able to, particularly in the red zone earlier on this season, and I think that that's probably their greatest sign of growth. At least till now, So I'm curious. I'm eager for the second half to start to see. Do we finally start seeing the Ravens get a little bit closer and you know that they're able to score and just to see how the bills Red Zone defense. Especially that secondary is able to handle them a couple of things, so I said the three rushing attempts Courtney. One of them is from Devon Singletary for three yards, the other actual running back. The other two are from Josh Allen. Lamar Jackson, meanwhile, has seven carries for 18 yards. Courtney which quarterback do you trust the most of these two in the second half of this game? I would trust Lamar. If they're not going to make him have to do everything because right now they don't have a lot going for them. Offensively, they haven't been able to to score outside of Justin Tucker's, You know, third field goal, So I would like to trust Lamar if they can keep those passing numbers, you know, not see some sort of huge influx there in the second half, but you know the way that Josh Allen's playing means he's 13 22 120 yards right now passing. I think he's playing all right, so I still I don't know My money's still on Lamar in this game. Yeah, I'd say Lamar to Josh l It's just been a little bit erratic, but some of the throat But five years past guys, some of that is the wind and maybe they should run the ball and second, I don't know up.
