"Is your Bloomberg business flash. Nate and Gritty. JT, as I hear they call you, to me, JT will always be Justin Timberlake, but you know, apparently it's also John Tucker. Not James Taylor to an earlier generation. Justin Timberlake is what we're going with. John Tucker, thank you as always. He's the Justin Timberlake of Bloomberg radio. It's fine. What's he bringing back now? I'm not going to go inside. Let's not open this door. Damien SaaS hour, the chief EM fixed income strategist over at Bloomberg intelligence and fellow sports fan joins us right here in studio. And it's a special day because it's the day after the Federal Reserve meeting. So naturally we have to talk about not just the U.S. or the UK or whatever other country we want to talk about. We have to talk about the emerging markets complex broadly, especially on a day when the dollar is actually higher and stronger by about 6 tenths of 1% Damian 20,000 foot view if that's even high enough. Or what's going on with EM when it comes to the Federal Reserve's ripple effect. Okay, the ripple effect is this. U.S. dollar pegs are the countries that try to peg their currencies to the dollar I'm talking Hong Kong. For example, have all have all adjusted. So you have banks like HSBC and standard chartered charging higher rates to depositors on the ground there as a result of the fed move. And we see the trickle effect that may check, although they left rates on hold, just this morning you had Malaysia raised rates by 25 bps overnight. So you've got more coming and next week's going to be a big week. You've got Poland. You've got Mexico. You've got Peru, so we expect more Central Bank rate hikes ahead. However, the pace is certainly decelerating pretty. How much more volatility can we expect for EM from China sort of keeping us guessing on what they're doing with COVID zero? Nathan, fundamentally, the whole pyramid in China is collapsing as we speak. And what I mean by that is what started with weak property developers and this is all about real estate in mind you evergrande agile has really moved to stronger hands, country garden, von K and now it's pushed into government government backed property developers like sifi and Greenland with potential for spillover into the municipal market in China, which is the lower local government financing vehicle market. So we've got $292 billion of onshore and offshore debt coming due through the end of 2023 that's a lot of money. 94% of China dollar property bonds now trade below 70 cents on the dollar Nathan. I mean, we have some real pain there. So fundamentally, I think the property crisis is going to get worse. And it's got potential for trickle down effect into municipalities into cities and prefectures. And I think that's still playing itself out. All right, Damien, we covered EM. We covered the U.S. sort of. We covered China. We have to talk about some real nerdy stuff here, and that of course is Brazil. There is a cross. A currency cross that I love to talk about and we don't talk about it enough. We really got to learn out about it over on the market's live team back in the day. The Brazilian real versus the Mexican peso. You have this one. I know you though. I do love this one because the way I was taught it was that this is how a lot of at least American traders on the western hemisphere get exposure to EM. It's either Brazil or its Mexico. And it's kind of a sea salt. You kind of trade off depending on what exposure you want because they're the two largest economies in Latin America in the European kind of emea sphere. It used to be, I think, the South African Rand versus the Turkish lira, that, of course, has since changed. But back to the Brazilian real and Mexican peso, talk to us about that pair. Well, the reason that pair is actually interesting is because they're both relatively high yielders, right? So the cost of funding if you've got to go short the rail versus the peso or vice versa, you know, the funding cost doesn't really penalize you so much for having to short one of those currencies, which is why you hear about Leah Iran, which is what you're referring to that used to be a pretty well traded cross, but the real crust that everybody's missing here. And it is the big money maker in emerging markets year to date. Next peso versus the Japanese yen. Now I know it's the other Japanese yen, whatever, but I mean, it's a hugely liquid cross. I'm not just talking about merging. I'm talking developed markets as well. And I mean, my goodness, I know a lot of traders are not a lot of PMs have made their mint this year trading that cross. Well, really not trading. I just buying it and holding it, right? So that's been a good trade. And look, I mean, if you want to talk about Brazil, look, we had the election Bolsonaro step back. I'm cautiously up the optimistic numbers. I mean, we had huge, huge foreign inflows coming into Brazilian equities in October with literally $400 million alone coming in on Monday, which was the last trading day of the month on back of the election on the back of the reelection of Lula. So there's some current surrounding Petrobras, whether or not Lula's gonna look to privatize the state owned oil company. And there's some concern on how Lula's going to basically govern, but given the slim margin of victory, you know, he's got to manage from the center. And I believe that's what the markets are planning for. And I think there's more to come. You say positive Damien on the Brazilian real if the oil volatility continues. Interesting. I mean, yes, I do. I mean, oil and Brazil, look at commodity prices have. They used to have a very, very large impact on commodity producing currencies, but they really haven't had much of an impact of late and certainly not on the Brazilian real. If anything, it's going to be metals prices, I would think that have more like iron ore, for example, because while he's a huge producer there, but for me, the Brazilian real, I'm pretty optimistic on it. I mean, look, you want to talk about currencies. You don't want to be optimistic on the point out 5 of them, the Chilean paste of the Philippine peso, the Malaysian ring at the Polish slaughter and the Hungarian foreigns are all at all time lows today. Right now versus the dollar. So there are more, there's more pain out there to come. I wonder if Damien has all these physical currencies somewhere in his office. Somewhere in the drawer. I have quite a few of them actually. It would be a cool, very cool collection. Damian SaaS hour cheap EM fixed income strategists of Bloomberg intelligence. We thank you as always. "Very topically tech and high brow example there. I was thinking about Justin Timberlake and MacDonald's. He reportedly got $6 million for that, jingle. You know, how deep are you prepared to dig for this? Wow. I mean, we can't go that deep. We spend almost all of our funds working with our volunteers and keeping the site online. So that's one of the reasons why we're asking the public what they think they should sound like and if Justin wants to identify as a member of the public as a charitable contribution, we would be so grateful to hear his jingle. He's a friend of the program. I'm sure he will be in touch. How do people submit their sound? You visit our contest website, which is sound logo Wikimedia dot work. And that site is available in 9 languages. So we do want people to know that this is not just for English speakers. It's a global contest. And there's a submission protocol there where you can upload up to three sounds. Four seconds in length or shorter, right? So that's the thing people are having a hard time with. And we limited to three entries per person because again, we know folks have lots of ideas, but we're asking them to take the first pass on getting to their best three. And how long are people got? They have until the 10th of October. So we've got some time. If you're listening to this, you know, this is your moment. You should be bringing out the casio keyboard and you're Ableton and your audio deck, your doll, and you should be getting going, and that can be even simpler than you'd think. We really, we've even got resources on that website for how people can set up audio workstations and make something. Zach mckean there. It's not quite in the league of Justin Timberlake, but the winner will receive two and a half $1000, and a trip to a recording studio to produce the final sound logo. If that sounds tempting to you, head to the Wikimedia website. Throw your minds back for

Why AJ Hates Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
"The more I look at Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake Christ almighty, do I hate them? So Jessica Biel was mocked recently and ridiculed for ignorantly praising the country France on women's rights over American rights and something she put up on Instagram. She posted an image of hiring her husband Justin Timberlake in Paris on her official social media account where she appeared to praise France for having women's rights. You have croissants and women's rights. Damn, take me back. That's what Jessica Biel said. And that post was circulated on Twitter with mockery and ridicule because France, by the way, Jessica and Justin, France has much more restrictive laws on abortion than those of us that those are the laws here in the United States. But these stupid asshole celebrities have no idea. And by the way, you want to go, leave. No one's stopping you. And by the way, abortion is extremely restricted after 14 weeks in France, but in California where I'm sure they live, you can murder a baby up until birth. But you wouldn't know that because, you know, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are brainless, talented, talentless

"Want them. No, she just told you she had to go to therapy. Through all of this. So she worked through this for her 20 years later to go on a national talk show in front of everybody and say, you know what? I'm done. I did therapy. I even did a movie called a breakup that lets you know. She's not going back to that old same thing. We saw that, at the Oscars, when he was off the grabbing and all, we saw it. No time. Okay. Stop. You guys, there's a big debate started today by Justin Timberlake. People are saying he's either cashing in or selling out. He just sold the rights to the songs he either wrote or wrote and the deal is estimated to be a worth around a hundred million dollars. Okay. Now, that is big money. But did he make the right move? Well, you're married to one of the most famous of all musicians. Songwriters. I ate you so much. Can you be serious for one minute? No. You'd be serious about all of this. Daisy, you're never too. To me, tell us. Is this a good idea to cash in, daisy? Let me see. It's been Richard Mark. Okay. What do you think about this? Being married to a musician. I was talking to him about this last night, and Richard actually sold half his publishing years ago, but he gets it back at a certain age. And he still has half his publishing that he would sell for the right price, but here's the thing that he was talking about. He's too young. He might have cashed out a little too early because this, all his publishing is going to be worth a lot more in 5 years and in ten years. Yeah, but you know what, for me, I feel like looking at this planet, look, we live on, we live in America. You don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. That's true. We don't know if in 5 or ten years that market is even going to exist. So if you've worked that hard. That's right. And you've put in the time and the effort and you can take that money and invest it in something else that you're even more passionate about. Why not? It's like, why would I put money in my 401k and leave it to my kids? Hell no. I'm trying to let me go ahead and enjoy this. This money myself. Because this is the thing. See, your husband, Richard, is smart because he's only so have. But what daisy is saying is that he sold the whole thing. Now, according to this deal, first of all, we don't know if it's just a 100 million. I think it's probably a little bit more. Than that, okay? But it is on par, you know, because Bruce Springsteen sold his for a half a million. The thing is is that because I have a billion. Have a hundred million. Oh, half a billion. Half a billion. The problem is, it's streaming. Streaming is what's messing up these artists. So, okay, for example, Mariah Carey. When we hear the Christmas song, all I want for Christmas is you, everybody thinks that she's making coin. She went on Twitter. She says, you guys. I'm just happy that the song, my little song that I wrote gives people happiness. I'm not making a lot of money because a streaming. So what I think is that you see all these artists all of a sudden now, they're not making as the song gets older, it doesn't get as much play. Sure. So they're just cashing in on that big payday, but I agree with you. He probably should he could have waited like another 5 years because.

"Welcome to the naughty burden I show I'm your host rob shooter. It's a bright Tuesday here in New York City, joining us is even more bright, misdeed, Elena Dixon misty, where in the world are you today? Hello, mister shooter. Well, I am back in Georgia. And I have to say, it's a little chilly here as well. I'm staying inside. You know what? I've got my Diana, the voice of change book by Stuart peers. So I'm learning all about Diana. She would have been 60 this year. 60 interesting you said that. We actually taped yesterday an interview with Stuart Stuart used to be Princess Diana's vocal coach and friend, and we did a special bonus podcast that will be airing this week. It is a teaser tea. Hey, let's jump into today's show because there's so much gossip to get to what time is it my Friends? It is. Big story at the top of the show, so Janet Jackson just put out a very cryptic response to Justin Timberlake's what some people are saying disgusting reaction to her wardrobe malfunction. So after the release of malfunction, the dressing down of Janet Jackson, which is our new documentary by the same people that brought us the Britney Spears, doctor. Now Janice herself has something to say. So the 55 year old singer took to social media with a very cryptic post just hours after the new documentary launched premiered on Hulu. She said the following. Not sure if you got the memo. But we're not competing anymore. We're appreciating and uplifting each other in stead. What does she mean? It's been 17 years since this gone down the whole broadgate that happened at the halftime show, and I'm sure Janet just wants to put it behind her. I mean, she's become a mother. She's toward the world. I think two times over or maybe even more since this has happened. And for them to keep bringing it up to keep talking about it. I'm sure she's tired of it. I know I would be put my boobies and leave them alone. Janet didn't mention the documentary outright. Fans quickly noticed that one of its subjects a person in the documentary Justin Timberlake himself responded by liking the post. Now, sources tell me that Janet has never actually gotten over this. And what she means by that quote, is that after this incident happened, which involved two people instead of competing to see who was to blame, she wish herself and Justin had worked together to find a solution to this. Let's not forget Janet was left holding the bag, so to speak, Justin's career went on fine, a couple of weeks later, he was at the Grammys on CBS where he won the Janet pretty much disappeared and it really, really, really affected her career. Some people believe for over a decade. So at the time, CBS forced her to apologize years later, Janet told Oprah that she regretted actually doing that apology. Meanwhile, Justin just joked about it at first, he told Entertainment Tonight, some silly nurse later he did offer an apology, but I think we can say it was Justin that got away with this not Janet, which brings us to our poll question of the day. Janet Jackson has just put out a cryptic response to what some people are saying is Justin Timberlake's disgusting reaction to her wardrobe malfunction should Janet tell all should she tell all she was there she knows what happens we still to this day don't really know her side of the story. Was this planned? Did he do it? Was he in on this? Had they sat together? What was going on? Should she tell all or should she say nothing can be, don't forget to vote on our Twitter page at naughty, nice rob at Facebook page is naughty or sip, you can leave a comment there. And be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results, mister love, what are you working on? Oh, well, Adele is breaking down in tears. I'm gonna tell you why. So she was surprised on stage by one of her favorite school teachers who she hadn't seen in 20 years. So a doll returned home to London to perform at the London palladium. And during the performance she was asked by Emma Thompson, you know, just her famous friend. If she had anybody who encouraged her when she was growing up. So Adele said, I had a teacher at chestnut grove. It was a school in South London. Maybe you know it rob, and it was miss McDonald. She got me into English literature, but she also did street dance and she was just so bloody cool and so engaging. She really made us care. Okay, it was then that miss McDonald popped up. It was revealed she was in the audience and she came on stage. She hugged Adele and the Dell, of course, was like, I didn't know you were gonna be here. It was just such a sweet reunion rob. Do you have a favorite teacher that really encouraged you to become the man that you are? Misses Higgins changed my life. I was about 13 or 14 years old, maybe 12. I remember her name to this day. She was the art teacher at school. I wasn't particularly gifted in art, but I was very much wanting to express myself and I felt different to all the other little boys and girls in that school not only was my arm damaged, I was in the closet I was gay, but I didn't know what that meant back then and it's a very working class industrial town, where people didn't talk about these things, so hand me a paintbrush and suddenly I felt really free, but I remember her to this day. Let me say her name again, misses Higgins. Who's yours, mister Elayna Dixon? Oh, mine would be miss grace. So when I was in junior high, I love to sing. And she was my music teacher. So she was actually, you have an amazing voice, so she would come to my house. We would take voice lessons. She could tell when your voice was changing. You were going through changes. And when you were in junior high. And she just kind of fostered my love of singing. I'm a second soprano for anybody who wanted to know. Thank you very much. It's amazing. You don't have to be a teacher to change someone's life. Try and do something really nice for somebody today. You're not going to remember it, but they will. Moving along Bobby Flay has struck a three year deal with the Food Network. So if you remember a couple of weeks ago, it was reported that Bobby Flay was leaving the network will now they have come to terms so Bobby wanted a $100 million to stay. That's after guy for yeary. He got about $80 million in a very competitive guy and Bobby Flay. So this looked impossible. It wasn't going to happen. Now suddenly they came to a compromise. My sources are telling me that discovery who own the Food Network was so angry with him. They cut off talks. They just said, goodbye, not going to work after 27 years. They felt as if they were being almost like shook down with this crazy demand that's a lot of money, but when you think about all the shows he does beat Bobby Flay, Bobby on the coast. There's a like about three or four shows he has on that network. They do raise a lot of money. So I hit the phones, my sources tell me he didn't get a $100 million, but he got a lot a lot a lot a lot of money. So with this, I think worked out for everybody. They say to know your word, but it gets me very, very scared when I go in and even ask for a small raise. I don't think I've got the huts there to ask for anything like that mystery. What about you? You know me. I have the hardest time asking for anything. Could you please pass the salt? Oh my goodness. I hope I said that correctly. But we have to think about Bobby Flay..

Janet Jackson's Nipple Is Getting a Documentary
"Since The New York Times isn't able to fairly and objectively report on anything happening these days. Leave it to the grey lady to produce a documentary on Janet Jackson's exposed breast. That we all saw during the Super Bowl halftime show in 2004, 17 years ago, here comes the documentary. Are they kidding me? I think we've all seen the clip of Justin Timberlake's surprise, removal of Janet's snap on nipple cover. At least a 100,000 times. I'm not even exaggerating. I don't know what intrigued the times to do this story. I don't know what they think they're going to uncover. To me, the whole thing looked plant. Can I be honest? It looked planned and then when the FCC went bananas, I felt like Janet and Justin had to act like it was an accident. Why couldn't the FCC just accept that it was possibly an accident and just move on? Why didn't I have to act like Timberlake just gave away secrets to China? It's a nipple, damn it. Yes, it's a 40 year old nipple pierce nipple at that, but who cares? Can't we just move on?

"2004 and performing at the Super Bowl is obviously a very big deal At the same time I think one of the kind of assessments that I've heard in the aftermath of the so called wardrobe malfunction was that somehow her career had already peaked and that there was just sort of like this was an excuse to move her off from center stage Do you agree with that I mean somewhat I think the public is always ready to cancel women's celebrities at a certain age especially if they're bread and butter is singing and dancing But I also think it's important to think of what her cancellation after that halftime show says about how we view things like agency and intention as is tied to race and gender I mean we know that Justin Timberlake this white man he was involved in this thing as well But he got to spin it as a mistake And he was almost innocent And then Janet she's cast as this devious figure who wanted to flash us all and be nefarious She has made the harlot And I think that points to the ways that we usually always assume the worst intent of black women when something goes wrong And in those same moments we give so much more benefit of the doubt to white men like Justin Timberlake Janet Jackson is still making music her career is still going What do you see in terms of her legacy though Where does it play out in other areas of pop music today I think of Britney Spears the most there are large swaths of her career where she's just doing Janet Jackson drag The choreography the soft and floaty singing it's so Janet And she'll admit it You know when I think about the amazing videos that she made and long form videos with intricate choreography I can look at rhythm nation and say oh that was kind of Beyoncé's lemonade before Beyoncé made lemonade You know what I want is for all of us to understand that pop still kind of lives in Janet's world.

This Is Why Britney’s Conservatorship Is So Toxic
"Now. Usually california law requires at least five days. Notice that you might be placed under conservative ship. But in brittany's case a judge determined that her mental health was dire enough to go ahead and make her father jamie spears her conservative or right than in their britney's conservative ship has never been a secret but a lot of us never batted an eye on it like after all in the six years between her breakup with justin timberlake and the start of her conservative ship brittany was painted as reckless drugged out and crazy like surely such drastic intervention was warranted right but then in late june of this year britney publicly testified for the first time about how she really feels about the conservative ship after lied and told the whole world. I'm okay and i'm happy. It's a lie. I thought i just. Maybe i said that enough. Maybe i might become happy. Because i've been in denial. I've been in shock. I am traumatized. Britney's testimony was a bombshell. We learned that. She feels used and abused that she was forced to get an ud that this thirty nine year. Old woman isn't even allowed to ride in her long term boyfriends car without permission. But arguably the bigger bombshell in this whole story is that brittany's conservative ship also known as guardianship is not an outlier an estimated one point. Three million people in the us are also living under various types of conservative ships. Which means that they and brittany are legally unpersonalised. And it really does mean that your civil rights your autonomy to make legally binding choices as simple as deciding where you're going to live or deciding who you're going to spend time with. We take for granted if we're not under conservatives that we can make those choices and they will be respected. But if you're under a conservative ship or guardianship another person has the power to make those choices for you. Your person hood is in a lot of ways taken from you.

"Feet to five hundred five hundred. Mah welcome back. We're talking with buzzfeed elements dual mahmoud about everything involving britney spears conservatorship case so. The outpouring of support has been huge. What do you make of how far the freebritney movement has come and how significant its role has been in how this is all played out. I mean i got to be one among the first to say i didn't. I didn't see it now. I see. I'm sorry and by sorry i mean we've seen the vindication of the freebritney movement just in one statement brittany laid out the lake. Not only were. They rights to support her. In that way to say the things that have been happening but actually didn't have a full understanding and things were much worse. I worry about that. I worry about the idea of fan culture kind of having this kind of central role in the management of people's lives. I feel like the brittany situation is a one off. I don't want like. I dunno nicki menaj fans managing anything. Because barbs are wild. But i will say that like the idea of the freebritney movement coming this far. They've they're now sort of almost professionalizing in assessor becoming a kind of advocacy body. They're not formal by any stretch but they aren advocacy body in terms of talking about how consider ships are going and raising questions about this legal setup and whether it's beneficial to the people who is supposed to be protecting and so i'm compelled by that you know what's interesting is that i mean to be clear. Britney brittany is the one who has been impacted the most by this. But you know we talked about. She has not been heard but the three brittany movement they also haven't been heard you know we had mats to pair on who you know works for buzzfeed and he is a very big britney fan and he came on to talk about chris crocker. Who you might know from the leave me alone. I mean. he wasn't heard either. He was made fun of and turned into a mean. I mean this is how long it's been going on for. People have been screaming about it and not being heard. I mean chris crocker people five but was just some weird performance art. It was not right. He was it was sort of a genuine sort of anguish outcry. That was kind of tried to point out to the fact that even back then thirteen years got thirteen years of trying to scream lebron alone in not having any kind of residents. But we're also hearing a lot from celebrities and other people who've had notable relationships with named one. When i want to talk about i i know you're implying. I wanna read justin timberlake's here's what he rely on. Joe clean go ahead go ahead because it matters. Okay here's what he wrote on twitter after what we saw today. We should all be supporting brittany at this time regardless of our past good and bad and no matter how long ago it was. What's happening to her is just not right. No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body. Okay elemen- go. I mean where do you even begin is a maybe should we. Shall we begin with the river. Music video and specifically casting brittany look alike to be like. Oh she doesn't have control over body justin. Why don't we be specific about the harms that we have caused our lives to other people before we go on running our mouths about how bruni should have our support. Yes she should. Some people should. Maybe i don't know their tweets or when in doubt don't tweet it because you know what's going to happen. I don't think twitter as a medium for that one justin timberlake. I want to believe that you've changed. I want to believe that you ingest. Were listening to this testimony heartbroken. Because i do. I believe that he was really affected by this so affected and so move. His phone was like lemme. I mean fire off a tweet. Let me just when you're when you're talking about things being edited. I think oh one of the many problems. The second sentence sentence was not needed when he said regardless of our past good and bad and no matter how long ago it was. Just don't say it. Just don't tweet that partner and all you had to say was this is not right. I'm thinking of britney like that's that's the some of what should be said in the words of the mean that's it that's the tweet riley. The other stuff and the other stuff was not necessary. It came across as an attempt for him to put himself in the narrative and people rightfully were like. Maybe this out bro. Like maybe maybe you can join the next one but this one is not for you. Other people supporting britney on on twitter offered halsey had a great tweet about this. You know lots of other celebrities did but boof justin timberlake man breed the room. You know okay so this is the next part that we don't really know about experts. Keep saying how this is such a complicated case. So how do you think things are going to play out specifically with the judge. The next court date is july fourteenth. I mean what do we think she'll decide. What's there to consider in terms of how this might go well. A big consideration is just how public all of this is like. He wasn't that public a few months ago. Now know the names of the judges. We know the names of every we know the names of the lawyers were like. This is getting too public for me and they just quit. And so the fact that. There's this much public attention. Of course it's following the new york times documentary that also have the testimony like all eyes are on. This case is on this judge. And i think that's going to fundamentally change the nature of the case one in that. We're not going to be waiting six months in between hearings again. Like i feel like we're gonna keep it moving to get to some kind of resolution. The judge also seemed pretty compelled by britney's testimony. Right there are a few moments of that. There are few moments of like faking her testimony reacting to some of the stuff that she said and that gives at least from the freebritney folks that i've seen on twitter. They're hopeful like they seem hopeful that this will maybe bring an end to that conservatorship. I don't know if that will actually be the case. But i does feel like assertive tied shifting kinda moment. Yeah well. I know we are just so anxious to see how this plays out. Thank you so much joining us today. Jessica Simpson Reflects on Ex John Mayer
"Jessica simpson speaking at about how she really fell. When john mayer told the world she was crazy in bed. Jessica wrote that and her memoir and she says she was mortified when john called her sexual napalm but in this exclusive interview. I look that she has with tamron hall. Jessica explained why he does not own her anything. Should he follow a justin timberlake and do this public mac hall pa for some of the very public treatment. I definitely don't feel grime. public apology. you can't take it back. I feel like people end up finding their way to let you know we're sorry And i and. I think that i mean he might not be sorry. That's okay but like to talk about anybody sexually disrespectful. But i mean that's on him. I wouldn't mind if somebody left their review from you know what i mean like. Paris Hilton Shocked By Sarah Silverman's Apology
"The hatchet. I think Back was 2007 MTV movie awards, Sarah Silverman said some pretty harsh jokes about Paris helping and then And then noticed she was in the audience. And, and here is several sterile save Sarah Silverman, Apollo I said some very hard core jokes about her. The crowd went bananas. And while I was thrilled that the success of my monologue I remember spotting her in the audience. And I remember seeing that look on her face and my heart sank because there was a person under there. So here I am. 14 years later telling you, Paris that I am really sorry. I hope that you accept my apology, and I hope that you feel My remorse. I felt it the second I saw your face that night. It feels terrible to know that you have hurt someone. And it's important to make it right. Oh, please 13 years later Now I feel bad about it. Oh, God. Because of this culture, we're in the Twitter culture of the wolf with the woke culture. And I assume Paris Hilton accepted the apartment had to do a big public speeches. Well, what do you wanna hear Paris Hilton? Not really helping took the social media and accepted the apology. So I just got this text and it was to an article With Sarah Silverman apologizing to me, and then I went on Listen to her podcast, and she basically made like an 8.5 minute apology to me, and she was so genuine and so sweet and It really moved me. I felt just emotional hearing it and I could tell that you didn't mean what she said when she was apologizing. Make it stop, please. So we've got Justin Timberlake

Britney Spears documentary reveals what's wrong with entertainment media
"That documentary premiered framing britney spears and it breaks down really like britney's history her rise to fame her mental breakdown that she had and then just her conservatorship. That's been going on since two thousand eight. It's her dad jamie spears. Who is her conservator. And so a the freebritney movement has grown over the past couple years and really this documentary. Just kind of like i mean. It's been something that's been going on for years with. His documentary sparked fresh interest in it too and a lot of criticism and people calling out. Justin timberlake to yeah. I feel like this. This documentary definitely started a conversation about the way that we treated and the way that we treat celebrities because a little brittany. She started when she was a baby. Literally and so. The question is being asked in interviews and the way that she was being treated and scrutinized by the media and justin timberlake just using all that to his advantage. Which let's talk about that apology. Dude quote unquote apology. I mean okay. I completely agree. Documentary was just so heartbreaking disgusting and just like the things that they were saying to her like let's talk about your breasts and she's sixteen. I'm like who thought that that was okay. And why did any of us watching this. It was okay and was diane sawyer interviewing her and she was like this congresswoman says that she wants to shoot you in the head can't can't you understand that it's like what's no thing to say. Her gods like just the way hashtag like we're sorry. Brittany started trending after that and god is just so awful the way that we just Like i talked about her body. In the media's scrutinized her and abused her as so sting they had all the audacity and none of the accountability. And i think the problem is who do you really hold accountable for that when it everybody let it happen a and like it's so far gone with with justin timberlake's apology. First of all the fact that he had to throw in janet jackson in there at the end like an ad lib like. She deserves her own apology. You ruined her career to sweetie and he never said what. He was apologizing for to them in that apology. Did you see that. He's just like i want to say that. I'm sorry to britney janet. And then i mean he did make a you know. He acknowledged that he has a black and brown women. People of color women. Lgbtq people are judged much more than he will ever be as you know a straight white guy and like yes yes. "I have to open up the Department of Corrections. You didn't mean Justin Timberlake, not Justin Bieber. Just just to be clear. Correct. Now we can move on. How is actually jug doing Ashley Judd is doing better. She is still in intensive care. What a bizarre accident that she had while she was in the Democratic Republic of the Congo she's wearing, you know one of those flashlights on her head gear head lamp and that she says that it was faulty. The light went out. It cost her to trip over a fallen tree, and she broke her leg in four places. She suffered nerve damage as a result of it. She said that she spent five hours lying on the forest floor. Before they were able to evacuate her first to a hospital in the Republic of the Congo and then to a South African hospital that was slightly better equipped. She said. But even still, we take for granted our health care system in the United States because even in the South African hospital, it was very, very difficult even to get a simple pill. To kill the pain. But she she is recovering in a soon as she's better. You're going to be headed back to the United States. Seems like every week we hear about a remake or re boot. Last week, we were talking about the Wizard of Oz. And now there's news about the King and I another classic, the Rodgers and Hammerstein. A classic is going to be remade, according to Paramount Pictures of they have not said who will be in this yet. I'm hoping since you know since I accidentally brought it up a few minutes ago, I'm hoping Justin Bieber is maybe Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande Day will be the new king and teacher. Somebody's gotta shave their head, though, that that's right. That's right. But if Arianna wants the role, she's gotta have it. You know, maybe they completely have the Full reversal on this. Yeah. Deborah Kerr and you? Will Brenner start in the movie that came out in 1956 that won five Oscars, including a best actor honor. For Yul Brenner. No word on this is going to come out. But they did confirm over the weekend that they shall dance once again, and Justice League. What's the word on this? Is this going to be good? It's the director's cut coming out, huh? Yeah, the story on this and why This is kind of a movie nerd, You know story, but The trailer for the director's cut. The original director's cut of the Justice League that came out a few years ago came out over the weekend. This is kind of a big deal because the original director on this movie was Zack Snyder. On and he started the movie but left it when his daughter passed away, so There was a lot of stuff that the second director just, uh, Josh, uh, Reading just just just Weeden. Took out of the movie that Zack Snyder had originally intended for it to be in. So what they're going to be releasing in March now is the Zack Snyder. Director's cut of Justice Lee, This is the movie with Superman and Batman Wonder Woman, Aqua Man. Cyborg and the flash. What will be included in this new director's cut is are the villains Dark Side and Jared Leto's Joker that were originally cut out of the movie? Here's Here's my big reservation. This new director's cut is going to be four hours long. Four hours alone. So you gotta be a real, uh, Justice League nerd. I guess the big like that, Of course, I'm already giving it a bad review for that. Who's gonna sit for for you? You can't You can't sit. I mean, there are going to people Let me let me rephrase that. I can't sit for four hours straight to watch a movie like this. It is going to be on HBO. Max. So I guess we composite then you know, watch it that way. But that four hour movie is going to be coming out on March. The 18. Now, let's let's get to your honor, and I won't spoil it for anybody who has it on the DVR and didn't watch the grand finale, which was on Showtime last night. Bryan Cranston, right. Bryan Cranston, where he's a judge in New Orleans. Yes, and Amy Landeck, John's daughter, really good part in this Yeah, And it's only it's only one season. We're told, but, uh, there's so many questions and so many things kind of left hanging after the finale. I'm wondering whether they're having second thoughts because it's been very popular for show time, hasn't it? The house, and, uh, all I can say is don't know if they're gonna watch it later. Don't watch it right before you go to bed because it's kind of upsetting and and surprising. But it was good. Don't get me wrong and then ah idiot. Me finds out finally yesterday after going through 10 weeks of putting it on the DVR because they don't want to stay up late Sunday night, so we watched it earlier on Monday. And and then I find out finally yesterday. Well, it was on demand. You could watch it any time on Showtime. I just found that out yesterday in time to watch it yesterday afternoon, I think is more exciting. When you record it yourself. You think so? It's more old school. Popular VHS and trying to figure out how to set the timer on your on your VHS is very old school. I hear that I haven't watched any of these yet, but I hear that the acting is phenomenal. It is Bryan Cranston. Amy Land Decker. Maura Tierney is in it. I hear that the performances are stunning, and in many ways carries the Syriza. Yep, and it's shot in New Orleans. It looks great. It's just well, you know, later in the week we can talk about the ending because people are still you know, not not everybody has seen it yet. I watched the movie last night that opens on Friday. Called Nomad Land. This is the new Frances McDormand film that everybody is saying is gonna win multiple Oscars and after I watched it last night, I can see why she plays a woman. Who's really whose life falls apart. Er she lives in a small town. You know, one of these small towns where the one the one giant factory in the small town employees, everybody the factory shuts down the town. You know, everyone leaves the town because of that. Her husband passes away. And she's really left with virtually nothing. She has a van and some belongings that she puts into the van and goes out on the road and lives out on the road. In lives in, you know, RV camps and you know things like that, And it's it's so moving and such an interesting statement on Uh, what we think we need in the world that we really don't need. To exist in the world. Once again, you know, Frances McDormand's performance is absolutely stunning. It's shot beautifully. The cinematography is gorgeous. I think in the stream that it is actually going to be You see, I think I have to look up on on which service it will be. But it's going to be in theaters and on a streaming service on Friday. I want to say I'm not sure I'm with without looking it up. I don't have my notes in front of me on Friday, but this coming Friday it's It's a phenomenal, phenomenal movie. I love Frances McDormand a matter of fact, looking out the window. This is gonna be a good week to watch Fargo again as long as you stay away from the wood chipper taxi tomorrow. Thanks, Dean. "Last weekend Brit Justin Timberlake's publicist was so hard at work Saturday. The planted story with okay that There's no that it made it sound like it was from team Britney Spears. Lady doesn't hate Justin. She loves him. Him and blab oven. And on Sunday there was a story where GT was very sympathetic to J. T. Brittany wouldn't like this and slammed the tabloid nature of The New York Times documentary. How You know That was last weekend. And so he puts out his instagram apology. And then what happens a couple hours later, his publicist is hard at work, telling Page six Justin did this on his own. It's really from the heart. This isn't about publicity. So the Hollywood speak on this is 100% and about publicity. That's how They're spinning this from so many directions. Someone just tweeted me tweeted us that they graduated from junior high and high school and college by the time they got this college. Well, that's how like really, that's how long it has been. I was just going to say, because we're reliving their early outs right now. He could have apologized about this. You know any number of your years? Even just, you know, super funny. He's Janet Jackson gets banned from radio and gets canceled And then he gets asked back to the Super Bowl and 2018. And this is Prince who did already don't forget the him accepting that a word for Prince and using it as an opportunity. Make fun of princes height. Like the Golden Globes. Remember that day, Okay. He's in a hole often enough that it's Zach's enough. It's enough is enough. I agree, and and I really want him to do another interview because I absolutely hate that all these media outlets. Have to explain in their story. What even apologize for because he can't even say it in the apology, So I don't like, Would you accept if one of your kids or love her husband? Rocco. You too like when somebody has to apologize for something. Part of the apologies. Is that admitting what you did right? I'm sorry I did this. Yeah. I mean, I'm just sorry. You feel bad. Yeah. When you're raising a small kid, you need to make them understand. You know why? Why this is wrong? Yeah. Why? Why? It's wrong. And why we've, you know, explain. You explain, because you can't because too often we throw out the shallow. I'm sorry, or I'm sorry for her. You're filling in there. I'm sorry. I was Part of that. I didn't know what I was doing. I'll do better next time. You gotta apologize for the action. The action that you did so serene, high low. Read woods words. I mean, Justin, just straight up. The PR team is already at work. He did this on his own. It's really from the hard. This isn't about publicity. And then you know his wife, Brandi Carlile and Chris Stapleton have been really the on Lee celebs who would have praised him for this. And Johnny Carlisle did And you just can't feel just said Ah, Heart I love you. And probably her system like that in Where do you think she's talking to him? I think so. I mean, she might be making a plan. But listen, this is always there's nothing more humiliating for a woman, Then getting publicly busted your husband making out with somebody while you're pregnant. Net home. It's right up there with You know him dumping you while you're eight months pregnant. We're looking like glory. Kardashian, Vili crowd up, Lily. Oh, gosh. We don't love you, Mary Louise Parker for Claire Danes. Okay. I mean, that's like it's a hard you can see. That's get some while it might take some therapy. Well, I make a mix. You know, Lori Good news for Britney kind of today. Oh, let's talk about that happening. Conservative case? Yeah, that happened yesterday. There was Britney Spears had a minor victory in court the he had gone to court to ask her dad not to be the conservator of her. You know, a state in herself and everything. And uhm hey, wanted to be soul, the soul person, and they're keeping the investment firm that the court appointed as cold conservative. Because, um You know she her conservatorship is of her person and her finances is duel and, um In some of the things that we learned from framing Britney The New York Times documentaries that conservatives are a last resort because they're almost always practically forever. And Brittany's dad, Um, you know, step down, is the conservator of Britney's person after he allegedly abused her son, Sean. And then Britney got a restraining order against her dad. With Kevin's help her ex husband can't that's right. And so he got taken off of her person Hood, but he still co conservator of the finances. Mm hmm. And she petitioned for this investment company Best Summer trust in November to be the co conservative and that all happened. So this is good news. But it is Very slow and very difficult. This is Listen. This is a massively wealthy white woman okay to get out from under conservatorship, and we heard in that in California, the attorney who was speaking on the record who's now on her dad's team. Said. I've never been involved with one that it's been over, right. So she's you know, had a court appointed lawyer for 13 years, but her money Pays for Jamie Spears is lawyers. Right against conservative ship against her. It's just It's such a whole gaslighting situation. So anyway, I She's probably very you know, happy about that. And, yeah, you know. Anyway. It feels like we're back in 2000 and like five or six, talking about Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears, like they are in Janet Jackson. But it's Anyway, I'm glad that that that that ham too, and I hope she's you know, going to be freed from the grasp of her dad. The fact that you know, like if she wanted to get married, it's not let her get married or have a baby. It's just like really. Appalling. Yeah, that it is. And the kid member they kid who said Leave Britney alone. Remember that kidding? Cried, Uh And you know, people were like he was just like, leave her alone. He's 33 years old now, Chris Cracker..

"Is that those words went through? The show business system, and they will continue to exactly so That was so. So that is not and and lest you think that that means that somebody in his camp is being critical of what created him? And the In the business that they work in. It's not It is saying the right things as a reflection of the business that they're in to those of us who are not in the business. Exact not gonna change a thing. Even the Dong dang thing team doing to the dog. Anything. Um Uh, I know that it's just sounds like when somebody we treat people as if they're individuals and celebrities as if they're like human beings and people. That's not what we're talking about right now. So In a normal situation, somebody even if it takes them a long time to come to the right place. They come to it. They apologize. You reward that behavior Because you say, Well, it doesn't matter how long it took you to get to that conclusion. At least you did. And thank you. Otherwise you seem kind of like Like just not a very nice person. If you're not willing to acknowledge somebody's, you know, apology sure, but that's not what we're talking about again. What we're talking about is because You want me to believe that it was simply like Justin Timberlake was shaken. Awake or aware of his role following framing Britney Spears, the documentary that achieved critical success over the last week, right that that is the thing that brought him to a place where he realizes that he was wrong all along. You know, it's his stock price, just tank right? And he needs to hang on to back up and And you know again, to be fair. Sure going forward. Maybe he's gonna like, radically try to dismantle the system which found him at the top of it. I doubt it. I think this is very much a PR move. But But even beyond that, Um, why did you just now? Come there, Right. Like where have you been? The first time you were called out the second time you were called out. It's not again to say that all of the things that happened to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson. This is the other thing that I think is a critical trap. We fall into Like he's the bad man. We need tol like And him because he did the bad things. His individual roles aside. We talked a little bit about this yesterday. He's part of the system. So we can't make it about Justin Timberlake. You have to make it about the system that allowed Britney Spears and Britney Spears. Guess what had a role in that herself. Those of the uncomfortable like conversations we need to have if people are really interested in truly You know, committed toe having something different. We're all in some way accountable, but that change is going to come from the outside. It's not going to come from the inside because the other thing you need to remember is that that's the system talking. Like how we just heard that apology from was the system because you know to your point. It was run through, like 50 different PR people and like it's just going to continue to perpetuate that. It's like any other system where you try to change it from the inside. There needs to be a certain amount of pressure from the outside. In order to make that change happen. It's not gonna happen. They're not going to motivate themselves to change anything because it's been working. And they're making money. Well, and now the conversation. Here's what's really frustrating. Guess what Guess who is centered in the Britney Spears, Janet Jackson and Timberlake. Yeah. Thank you. Welcome my job. Today, Explained
Britney Spears' conservatorship, explained
"Justin timberlake publicly apologized to britney spears even though their relationship ended like twenty years ago. The apology has a lot less to do their bygone romance and much more to do the reckoning over how this country treats its famous young women and britney spears has gone from something of a villain in this story to something much more closely resembling a hero. The freebritney movement deserves much of the credit for that transformation. It's a fan driven campaign which hopes to liberate brittany from her conservatorship constance. Grady has been covering free brittany for. Vox so a conservative ship is illegal solution for what happens if you're an adult but you can't make decisions for your life in your best interests. So this is something that is used if you have a mental health condition or brain injury You're developing dementia. And you're unable to care for yourself. So accord will assign someone to do that for you. So britney went under conservatorship in two thousand eight and under the terms of her conservatorship. She's not in control of her finances or business or personal life so for about two years now going back actually to the point that the conservatorship was set in place in two thousand eight but most intensely for the past two years and especially now since the release of be new documentary framing. britney spears. Fans have been speculating. That the conservatorship has left britney spears as a prisoner in her life and that she might need to be rescued. Okay well let's go back to two thousand eight and talk about why britney spears was placed under this conservatorship. If you think back to two thousand eight you might remember that. There was just nonstop goth coverage of britney spears that year relief and in two thousand seven especially as well. They're repoprt ati following her around. All the time would like wait outside her limo when she was going to clubs to take up strict photos of her and then the entire internet would discuss her underwear and she was starting to react back to them. In increasingly bizarre ways she started yelling at the paparazzi in a british accent once he attacked hover car with an umbrella. Please please seed saved her own head up. Which was all photographed by paper off. They're very famous pictures of her sort of grinning and holding up a to her scalp. She went in and out of rehab. A few times that to the pictures were all over teams. The press helps them now and is performed at the emmy in two thousand seven in this kind of infamous performance where she was sleepwalking through it the press discussed whether she was fat now lot there was a lot going on for her. It was not a good year. Fears has lost so she fits under psychiatric hold twice. What does that mean. She is put in a mental hospital and not allowed to leave what happened. I think that one angle of what happened to britney that we have to hit here. Is that the media industries incredibly sexist straight and even more so when she was coming up. There's one subject we didn't discuss. What was that. everyone's talking about it. Well you'll breasts. There is that whole narrative about whether britain a real virgin and that some like ruin adults would ask her at press conferences. And my of virgin. I think especially when she was with justin timberlake and they've never really cared about justin timberlake's virginity because who would. It was just about britney in her schoolgirl uniform. "An apology to his ex girlfriend, Britney Spears and Janet Jackson. So $10 short, thank you. So Timberlake posted a lengthy message on Instagram owning up to his ignorance surrounding the media treatment of Britney following his break up from Brittany. And after the release of the documentary framing Britney Spears, Justin also addressed the coverage surrounding his 2004 Super Bowl performance with Janet Jackson. So one wonders if he actually communicated directly with these women himself. Yeah, that would be my question.

It's but it is a big celebration is and it just goes to show that you can create a celebration and festivity. Even without all being together, right? I was fortunate enough to spend a little time with Stephanie on her birthday. She mentioned this at the beginning of weekly dishes. I don't think she fully emphasized the magnitude of it enough. And so I'm Going to take this opportunity to make sure that everybody knows that we used chainsaws and power to us. And an excavator is just a good thing. I didn't know about it until after this is should I saw the pictures Because I would've completely freaked out at you doing our friend Alexis Wall. SCO, who is great Networker and connector is friends with Matt. Ken Evan, who? Stephanie and you also, I had never met him before. He's the founder of the beer dabbler used to have the girl. Roller has lot. He's just a very enterprising entrepreneurial guy who sees something. And just like, OK, Yeah, let's start a business. Let's start a nonprofit. Let's do this thing. And so he, um he lives on this amazing property, right? Right near the river in Saint Paul, and he has all these You know? Toys and tools and all the stuff and and and and I ask him, like, Did you grow up with all this? Did you grow up on a farm? Know he just He likes it all. He likes the tools he wants to some of these, like, so you got to figure out something to do with it so anyway. He knows how to chop down a tree and slice it up and have friend of his who own. You understand his good side. You do the friend who owns the happy Gnome in Saint Paul. That restaurant was like, Hey, Matt, do you have time? I really need some wood. Or the fire pits outside. Think about all these restaurants that are doing the fire pits that we think. Oh, it's lovely that such a fun way to be able to get outside just for a minute that wood adds up. It costs money, and they're burning through it literally, like so quickly, So he delivered some wood, and then you know his friend called him again and again, and he's like, Wow, there's really a need out here, so he started just being kind of like a fairy to the restaurants and delivering wood for free. Then he started delivering wood to home. Listen, Camp mints, of which there are many around town, some that you see many that you don't see. He was saying, some that are like deep in the woods where people are just trying to get through the winter and survive. Well, imagine living. Imagine spending a night outside at all, but then doing it without proper supplies without a good tent without firewood. So he is doing all of this delivery and he asked us to come and check out his operation and actually put us to work. Wow. Did you know and I went that you were going to be put to work? I did know. And And when I got the request, I was like, Let's see. I need some people to help me. Chop wood. I'm gonna call Aly Kaplan, Steph margin Alexis more stuff on the top of the list. Well, I'm here to say we put in a solid day's labor. You really do. We really did? Yes. And it was really I mean, it felt I It felt good. It was good yourself at all. No, I didn't know. How did you know? I don't understand how you learned to drive the excavator. Yeah, that was just kind of a fun bonus. He's like when you're gonna have a chance to do this. You can't get on here. You can drive it and I was like, I don't know why you would trust me to drive this piece of heavy machinery, especially near your home and your chicken coop and your kids ice rink, But he's like I believe in you. I believe you can do it actually did Dr Actually kind of intuitive. Once you start you kind of, like, turn the levers with your wrists. And that makes the big thing go up the I don't. Yeah, I did it do anything to get one anytime soon. I don't know, But I would say that, you know, it's just a good reminder that like doing something physical and manual, like I think it's good for your mind and your soul That's kind of like to be able to do the good. Yeah, and it felt like we're doing it for a good cause. You can actually support what he's doing. He What he needs more than anything is just donations. He needs money to feed his operation. If anyone has started a nonprofit, and it's called dabbler and friends, you could go to dabbler and friends dot com and find out what Matt is doing and donate..

"The new film Palmer. Justin Timberlake plays Eddie Palmer comes back to his hometown in Louisiana straight out of prison. He's trying to piece together a new life, and a little boy named Sam is part of that. Lives in a trailer Palmer's grandmother's backyard Haman Sam start to hang out together when Sam's mother just Disappears, so she often does. Little boy is funny and spirited. He plays with dolls and Palmer asks him. You know your boy, right? Uh, boys don't play with dogs. Well, I'm a boy and I due to growing understanding and devotion between Boy and man is at the heart of Palmer, which is available now on Apple TV plus writer Alan is Sam Fisher. Stevens directs. And Justin Timberlake, who is one of the best selling best known famous recording artists in history and needs no more introduction than his name joins us from Reverie chooses. Thanks so much for being with us. Thank you. What drew you to this role? I got so many things, the DNI of this movie and the culture of this movie. I grew up in the rural South. And I found myself relating to both of our lead characters, you know, being a young boy and being interested in the arts. And on the other hand, I found myself really relating to Guy like Eddie, who? You know, I knew guys like that growing up. That were football gods or basketball gods in our hometown and then school ends and there's this transition, and they kind of don't know exactly what to do with themselves. And you You see it happen. They turn to Substance. They turned to, uh, kind of let it go, and I felt like we could make something really special. And so Was really into it from the beginning. I I want to play one of my favorite scenes. Palmer arrives at a play date. That Sam has and they're having a tea party. Oh, and look, it is tea time. See, how many lunch do you want? She means sugar, too. Careful, Palmer. It's hot. Music, please. Hmm. Oh, it's so good. What do you think, Mr Palmer? Hmm? Yes. Mm. Real good. Wow. That's utterly charming scene. Thank you. Yet It was written so well, all of these scenes Especially where it's just Eddie and Sam. They were already so charming on the page and That that was a really special one and and funny enough one that Fisher and I went back and forth on How a guy Like this would really react to this type of interaction where he's thrust into a neck stream Lee uncomfortable scenario for him. You know what? What would he say? What would you do? We probably clam up. And so that was a fun scene to shoot with the kids. Let me ask you about writer Alan. The little boy who plays Sam, an amazing actor. I don't know anything about him. How did you two work together? If there's anyone who knows about being a child actor, it's it's Justin Timberlake. I know a little bit about it. Yes, um Believe or not. This is Ryder's first film. It's an interesting thing that sometimes deny EVD to Situation. Can give moments of genius. Because there was something completely Untrained about him. But also he just had an intuition and the chemistry reads. We would play certain scenes out like we played the root beer scene. The scene of Palmer takes Sam to have Dinette for his first root beer float, right. It's one of those transitional moments where Palmer gives the kid advice loosely in a paternal way, and we would play the scene out and chemistry read. And then I would just keep talking. And Ryder was just leaps and bounds. I mean, he would just literally stay in character and keep playing. And I knew that we could get these little gems of moments where, when you get an exchange like that, between two actors, or even honestly between two performers in general, when you have two great singers who can Play off each other two great comedians. You see those old Frank and dean moments where they're? They're just dancing with each other, you know, And I just knew we get these gems Where In a movie like this, You start to feel like you're just watching people. There was a time not so long ago. I think we can both remember it when People would look at a little boy like Sam on screen or in real life and say, Well, he's confused with this film makes clear, is it? No, He's not confused. He's himself. All right. What do you hope people You see the film might take away from it. I think over the last year, some things have been brought to light in a certain language that We realized that we have to have open eyes and open ears and open hearts. I guess I hope that the theme of acceptance Comes shining through in this movie. And I think that that's something we wanted to be really conscious of with. This young character was that this boy's is eight years old, and he likes what he likes, and he shouldn't be bullied for that. Mm. Should be Accepted for that, And not only that, you know, supported and uplifted for that. Being able to see people in the world for who they are, and I love that has to come from within. Hopefully, that's what we accomplished with with my character with Eddie. That Finding that self love. I can kind of lead you in that direction. It could be a compass. You know Justin Timberlake. Is Palmer now on.
