"Not having bumps along the way with the spell? I think that's a challenge. I also bucking that, I mean, today the world is a different world than it was in the 50s, of course. The whole social media and the instance of the instant moment of everything being recorded and put it out there immediately on the echo of that. It's a different life world that it was in the 50s. But again, to be able to maintain that combination of private and public, it must be very hard. And I think that was one of the reasons why the marriage, I'm saying the main reason, but one of the reasons that the marriage had some problems, because it's human. It's a lot. It's a lot. For so many years, with the public eye on top of them. I mean, it may not be for sure. So the movie comes out and drops on Amazon where you can watch it if you choose. But extremely well received for the entire group of it's really the central four Quartet of unicole J. K. Simmons and Nina arianda. And then Oscar nominations morning, you've been through this. But let's talk about the difference this time. You are nominated for best actor in the same year that your wife is nominated for best actress. Spectacular. I said, darling, we're going to watch the nominations live now. She never watched life. The opposite of me, I watched my life. No, because we know and we knew that it was going to be very, very, very difficult. They will happen. But if happens, I want to see it. Yeah. So he took me a while to convince her. We finally did. We put a TV on. It was a small sulfur. We get together. And the first name is mining. Yes. The first was most international feature for the good boss. Didn't happen. That was a down. Then it was Javier Bardem, the first name which I knew he was going to be the first one because of the B yes. I heard I was like, wow, okay. And she was like jumping. I said, no, no, no, no, no, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait. This doesn't make any sense if you're not in. And then it hurts come is Justin Coleman, and she says, too many seats. And she said that. Penélope Cruz. And that was a moment. Where I jumped. On hunter. I don't know how to translate that, but it's like, no, yes, now yes. Now, yes, we celebrate now and make now it's something to sort of read. And she was absolutely taken by and we both were taken by it. And it's a miracle. It's such a great thing. It's a gift. I don't know how to say that. It's everything. It's everything in the sense that mostly I'm so happy I'm humbly dude for being there. But in her case, it's a rug Spanish. And that's a big thing. It's her second time in Spanish. It's a big thing. And it will be very happy if she wins. I know I have a hard divided, of course, as you can imagine. But she's my wife. That's right. I adore her. And I think because that alone because of the Spanish thing, it's very important. And she's amazing in the movie. As Nicole and Jesse can, Olivia and Kristen. But it made me very happy to really, it makes us very happy to share this. It's very special. So thank God I convinced her to see it. I recorded it. I have a video. You have it here. That's so cool. Well, very well deserved. It so exciting. We wish you guys the best of luck on March 27th and thank you again for coming to Boulder to do this. Thank you so much. Thank you. Can I say, can I say something? Because the podcast, you can finish the podcast here, no? There is a lot of people here that you were doing a line, I was capable of asking you to make some questions. Oh yeah, yeah. I mean, are you okay with that? Okay. Good. So if you raise your head, this is so nice. Let's start right here. I'm going to just repeat the question so that everybody can hear it. Her son is a director. A student and a student to become a director. And she likes the way that you have spoken about the role of directors in your life. What would you say the most important advice for an aspiring director is? I had the chance to work with amazing directors. I'm there all good people. I mean, it's about the humanity. It's about the good person behind the role that we play on a set. The energy of a director is the energy that rules the set. So the technical stuff he will get there is about being aware that his relationship with the crew is going to really create the atmosphere that's going to rule the shoot. And that is way more than important at the framing, I think. Because it's from there, where the love, the passion, and the trust for the actors are born are born from being from feeling safe and protected. Because we are very vulnerable. I mean, it's not that we are special what the fuck we are. But when you are playing certain scenes or something wrong, like when I was doing the ages of Lulu with the net thing, you are in a vulnerable place. And things too big as Luna, he made me feel, don't worry. He made me feel like he was doing it just for him. There was a camera rolling, but he made me feel like, don't worry. I'm here for you. That's the most important thing I would say to him. Let's go to our next question. The question would be, you know, kind of what you think the future of Spanish language films are in the U.S.. I will just add a quick note to that that we are in a moment where the most watched show ever on Netflix is now the Korean language Squid Game. So it does seem and we're coming off two years ago, parasite, a Korean language film, one of the best picture Oscar, seems like subtitles are less scary for people than they used to be. Yeah, it's true. I don't know. I don't know how to answer that. I wish it would be more. But I think that it's, as you said, Scott, the audience is less scared to read subtitles. And I think we should thank the platforms for that. Because they are more willing to see international feature with the committee with the commodity of their houses and pull the subtitles and without the anxious with the anxiety of being on a screen and fearing out if they're going to lose anything. I think the Oscar branch is more international and is welcoming more the international work. And let's not forget Hollywood itself is very international. I mean, you got to do and there is people from everywhere. I don't know how many Americans they were. But that's the greatest thing about Hollywood. You really brings a lot of time from all around.

"So I am interested. My interest is peaked. You mean like the backup of Volvo? Volkswagen. Was that a movie or is it like, yeah, we made out in an uncomfortable place and they're like back up a Volkswagen? He's getting the football and uncomfortable places. All right, so I got John. Dolphins. Quick chatter about the dolphins. What do you think about what the Patriots will see on Sunday four 25 kick? Yeah, I think the most useless thing is over analysis and week one because we have no idea what we're going to see. You can't show anything out the preseason. Don't give me the film. Don't do any of that stuff. I mean, look, Austin Jackson, they're left tackles and COVID-19, shaheen's and COVID-19, one of their tight ends. They're starting a rookie at left guard. I think I can burgers pretty good. Second rounder. But man, that's against this front. That's a tall tat with tua, who's not exactly mister, you know, mister stoic, you know, but in the pocket and you're gonna sit back there and confident in his reads and his blocking. So look, they have a ton of talent. I think this is gonna be a team that's gonna be better in the second half of the season. I think that they have a ridiculous secondary that I think is gonna be pretty good. I mean, Jason McCourty is playing free safety though. So look for them to target him on a few things. But rose pretty good Justin Coleman is back former patriot. I loved him here. I loved him in Detroit, Byron Jones, saving Howard. But to me, I think one of the big storylines in this game, Nick is the dolphins because Brian Flores can't make a decision on who he wants to be offensive coordinator for more than 6 seconds. Is now going with, yeah, this works all the time. The double offensive coordinator with George God, my guy, George godsey, who I spent a lot of time with when I did the Houston Texans game plan story was Bill O'Brien's offense corner. Love godsey. He's very smart. I could see him as a future OC here. And Eric, stews ville, who is mostly I think a run game. He was an interim coach with the Broncos. I think maybe after McDaniels got fired. But anyways, yeah, the double coordinator works wonders like, you know, after firing people left and right. Now he's going with the double guys. That's going to be an issue in Josh Boyer against Mick Josh McDaniels. But, you know, Boyer is the dolphins defense corner, former secondary coach here with the Patriots. That is an intellectual mismatch if I've ever seen one, and now that Josh McDaniels actually has tools, I expect him to win the day that way. So I like the Patriots pretty good in this game. The good co OC, the double mint gum approach to their offensive coordinator. I pretty much everything you just said..

"People often ask me of prosecuting. The mob is like the movies. There is violence. He cracks his guys over the head. And pop. Just like a melon pop. There are hits so it wasn't just permission to to take a map permission to take out his own nephew but after taking down over one hundred mobsters. I can tell you this. The real thing is much more interesting. I'm elliot hoenig former mob prosecutor and host of the new podcast up against the mob up against the mob lifts the veil on the world's most secretive criminal organization cosa nostra. We'll talk to prosecutors former mobsters and undercover agents and unlike hollywood all these stories are true. New episodes drop every wednesday starting september eighth. Listen and follow up against the mob on apple podcasts. Spotify or your favorite podcast app number. Seven jake know what egg monogamy continues to struggle. This really hurts especially for some of us fans who wanted a jk dob one of those fancy running backs maybe a senator your your twenty one year old corner continues to fall down the depth chart and you know i. It's it's not. it's not that big deal. When you got byron jones we got exhibiting howard's air but when he can't beat out a nickname when he's you know being supplanted by justin coleman who yes. He's that veteran presence. Yes he's that guy you know understands floors defense. No l. accounts are gonna go out. There make plays it. You just wanna see more out and we saw me at one pass. Breakup in preseason. Yeah we look good at times but no ebony twenty years i wanna see more adam j what about you. Yes definitely be nice. I mean he had a lot of opportunities there in the preseason to at least give us something ed i don't think we if you beat out. It was awesome if he doesn't beat out Bedroom justin cullen. But it'd be nice to kind of see him flash there. In having a couple of big moments. I guess he was pretty solid against the bengals replied played sixty seven snaps neil allowed to catches on his five targets against in general hilo thirteen receptions on nar nine targets for one hundred two yards jazz. You're right be kinda wanna see little more at you. Gotta wonder where he's gonna see that opportunity. He's listed as a boundary quarterback behind byron jones. I justin coleman nikki user guys who i think we're gonna see often really brings up the question if you're not saying former first rounder in his second year You start to get concerned. I guess the big question. And that's you know that's where we're joined with here because we're sitting here talking about how he maybe should be able to be just maybe should be able to be on nickname but you draft him in the first round. You know. this is the second year you want to see your first round draft pick. Go out there and be able to plant some of those guys. So i do think it's a little bit concerning but we go back to the michael jeter thing like we just talked about this a twenty one year. Old cornerback has all. The physical tools is with. Josh boyer is with brian floors. If there's any coaching staff that can turn this guy into a superstar. It's dolphins but at this point you gotta feel a little bit concerned for. His development moved for little concern about his the for sure. But josh at the same time i mean maybe there's too many cooks in the kitchen. I mean josh. Nick need of his looking so much better that he did a year ago. He had a seventy nine pro. Football focus grade in week one. I'm more than twenty coverage snaps. I he had pass breakups on slants twice an eight-year slot receiver. You're going over the middle one of the hardest jobs in football. He seems to be pretty solid. Especially as an undrafted guy. It's it's been kind of great to see developed. He played five snaps the slot week to at any hopped outside with byron jones. Exhibit howard. bus. The game josh. What have you seen data Because he's someone who's going to get the ball thrown out of right. You have byron. Jones yet exhibiting howard. He's someone who's going to the ball thrown his way quarterback test their lack. Ed he seems to be the one. Who's making more than the quarterback man. I think you could argue. You know plan nickel quarterly. Nfl might be the hardest position play. 'cause you're pretty much on the island against noah tight end against some of those speedy receivers. So you can go anywhere nick. Needham i mean this is a guy van favorite. We know the story. You know undrafted worked his way his ass off basically but i mean he just looks like a different player. Jackie don't know if it's because he was getting ready because exerting howard told out you just don't know if it's because again they had what fourteen fifteen sixteen. Db's at one time. I mean this is the group that you did kind of see the cream rise to the top you did see a nickname start to stand out above the rest and and that's just what you wanna see. I don't care if it's him. I don't care if it's i really don't care if it's no eggnog. Any i know you know as hard as that is to say as long as you're going out there and you got your best players out there i mean. Is there a better. May i'm going to say. Is there a better tandem in the nfl than byron jones. Exuding howard nick needham. I mean that's a pretty damn good trio of corners and It's just a testament to how well nickname has developed this season despite playing much in the is going to be a battery receiver. At least it seems like that. Early on being listed behind. Fired jones exhibited howard. Josh i do have to say. Justin coleman is listed starting slot corner with freshly signed elisa campbell behind him cohen. Kind of seemed like one of those guys who you could kinda just plugging play. You do be fit right away. He seems like a perfectly. Chris bosh type player. Where if he's your best cornerback. I don't really know how are you're gonna get but as your number three having. He could take advantage of every opportunity that comes his way. But just we know we. Just these rosters these charts. They changed so often who plays more snaps snacks. This season justin comment or nydia victim. I think it's got to be nicknamed him. I think again you know what he did in preseason and the nichols spot and again i think you know. This is just reindeer games with the dolphins Sense i mean anybody that looks at depth. Chart gets mad because jay phillips third down the list or a rea- someone else's listed above another person. This is brian for his defensive. All those different multiple looks With all those different fronts. I mean i'm not put too much stock to this. I'm gonna go.

"Because we get rid of a calvin When you get rid of a bobby mccain and then you rely on these young players they have to step up and you know we're kind of banking on those players stepping up and filling those voids. If you know it's a sure thing really isn't and i was gonna pick out some numbers Regarding row. But i didn't think that was necessarily too important. And i think the spark note version of his twenty twenty season as i think he was a pretty good safety unless he was playing against the league's best tight ends. You know you think of darren wall and trends kelsey Roy actually talk about these in the press conference. But i mean i don't know if i'm you know settling i don't know if that's right word but if i have a safety who who's pretty damn good outside of basing you know the top three four tight ends in the league. that is that is that wrong. No man and you mentioned a quote. And i think we have to be excited because i remember that philly game and at that point. I remember zach. Ertz was one of those premier tight ends. Let's be honest. Air grope erased him you know. He matched up well with him. And if your only loss is going to be against the travis kelsey at darren waller and george kittle like you said that's pretty damn good but the quote here is You know they asked him what he learned from. Those matchups getting beat pretty badly to titans he said. Obviously those are two of the best tight ends in the league along with kittle. Kinda what i learned is i got to step my game up with them. They're not really tight. Ends their big wide receivers. That can run. I know we have lost vegas week. Three i'm ready for that so You know again. It just seems different. These players understand the mistakes may last year and they're working their ass off to get better and you know it's awesome. The sierra grow surplus calendar. You know the same way. Chad johnson did when he was going. Db's and things like that. You know erica circling. I'm going against a darren waller on this day and i'm gonna show up a lot better than i did last year. I think that raiders game is a very under the radar Top tier game for the dolphins. Eric bro circled to was going to have. It circled right after last time. I mean the fish. The last thing he wanted that game to remembered about is for a quarterback not name to a right so so. I think that game is going to be quite interesting. I don't wanna get too down that rabbit hole. Though i mean we had our schedule release extravaganza a few weeks ago ahead and check that out because i mean unrivalled scheduled. Talk what you'll find here. Unfancied radio jersey. Mentioned how eric rowe kinda hinted that john hollywood might be leading the race at safety But it's not locked and he's gonna start. I mean to be completely honest with you. Would it be the most mind thing in the world that if exhibiting howard and byron jones aren't miami's top two cornerbacks. I'm not saying they will app. Saying it's it's it's very unlikely but but would it shock you in the slightest. If brian flores decided to go a different direction based on his track record as a head coach at this point. Yeah i mean when you break it down like that. I guess again it goes back to you know the trades and just every little move that brian floors and the dolphins making expect the unexpected. But if told me no would you know maybe have a better year are that to me. I would say a little bit crazy but again who knows. They're put in the work and you byron does he. He struggled last year so to think. In my opinion i think he might even better this year. So i think it'd be a little crazy but again it's bryant floors so he'll go out there with ibanez rga knee and you john holland as starting corners on. They own week one. No no what the hell's going on. I don't think anyone questioned that. I mean when you think about it josh. I don't think anybody expects xavien howard to have ten interceptions next year and you can listen to any episode of radio. Where i'm one of the hosts i have never been a fan of trading xavien howard. I think that's silly thing. I think that's kind of trying to do too much. It's like i. it's again gos- season you're gonna spend all this time. What trades can the dolphins to that smart obviously has trade batteries higher than it will ever be. But i just kind of meat. Maybe a no igwe doggy steps up and becomes a guy. Maybe jason mccourty become more consistent. I'm not saying that's likely but i'm just saying Players get better and worse every year. I breaking news. I know that's completely mind blowing. And who knows. Maybe we'll take that next step. Maybe nick needham Is is pushing to not only be a corner slot quarter but to really develop but to go back to safety accepting. That's the big question begins. eric rowe was asked about playing with jason mccourty who they played together. New england. And there are some whispers. That mccartney could be used at both safety. And cornerback which. It's kind of like eric rowe when he made that transition. Mccorvey is a little older and josh. I want to ask you because you think about someone. Like no benign twenty one years old how it is going to be rookie. Brennan jones's the second year die. And then you have guys like byron jonesing sabian howard who are top tier quarterbacks again. I'm not saying these guys aren't going to be studs i've term. We think they are but nothing. Can i certain. Nfl where does according fitness because the dolphins have their young guys that they're hoping to see grow and they had that you know quote unquote leadership and guys like Byron jones baron jones has been one of the best leaders since he showed up very well spoken. He has no problem being that guy in the middle of the quarterback to help out everyone right. That's the vibe. I've gotten from him. So where does according fit on the depth chart because you also think. Justin coleman another veteran they bought. And there's a lotta competition going on in this group despite being one of the better secondaries in the league last year. Yeah i mean. It's so hard to see her and thinking how mcchord will fit into things. And you mentioned justin coleman. I'm so glad you did. Because i actually wrote down his name here because i didn't want to miss the chance to bring him up because he has familiarity he yes he plays very well at nickel you know and again. He's a veteran. Who has had success in this league. So you know. We're sitting here and we're talking nicknamed him up maybe at nickel and they're gonna use holland a little bit there. Perhaps who's to say. Justin coleman just take that job so i can't sit here. It's so hard to say here. Just figure out the dolphins. You know lebron's florist defense and trying to figure out where these pieces are going to match up to try to figure out this damn secondary when he's going to go out there and probably pick up three or four quarterbacks before the end of the month i mean it's so hard to sit here and try to figure it out but i think they saw guys like jason mccourty who has experience again with brian floors and is again veteran leader. That you know you've got rid of some of those guys got rid of by. Can you bring him. According know he still has some of that veteran leadership that you might be missing there with mccain. So i don't know if he's going to come in here and start affiliate play safety. But i think brian flores feels pretty damn good about the the groupie has again. A lot of those guys are versatile pieces who had experience in the system. i'm teams completed. Sixty three percent of passes against the miami dolphins defense last year. That's the league's best. mark know. Obviously that includes linebackers covering a running backs and things of that nature. But but i thought that was a good point to start here when talking about the dolphins secondary and they allowed one point three passing touchdowns a game. That's league second bus mark And they sacked the quarterback on seven percent of all dropbacks. The eighth best mark of benef-. Oh i think what the dolphins did really well last year is create those pressures sax. Ray i i'm not trying to take one thing away from guys like emmanuel ogbah who absolutely pulled out last season but i mean the secondary really gave the guy The front seven opportunity to get to the quarterback and make let the quarterback make some bad decisions out there But josh there is obviously a a little bit of room for improvement especially when you look at that bills game and how everything kind of Fell apart the one interesting..

"It's been just one day since reports surfaced that Arizona Wildcats head coach, Sean Miller is expected to be subpoenaed for next month's federal trial involving the pay for play college basketball scandal and some reporters found out today that Miller isn't so willing to talk about that subpoena. Miller had just one answer about the subpoena when reporters questioned him about it in Tucson. He says he's concentrating on his family and his team right now. Four year old nephew Bernard surgery two days ago. I'm really concerned about that Ryan in Justin Coleman or seniors. I want to have the best experience that they can have since she of their season in Arizona,
