I'm fine with like working on. Like i don't like if i have to lift a couple boxes. Play some down. Make sure i i. It's kind it kind of bothers me won't have to like i don't wanna have to like sit down like record. Get up to the camera. Make sure the shots good and then sit back down. You know what i mean like. It's so nice to have a team Around you that wants to help you and like like saying earlier. My sister manager she handle so much of like the booking arrangements of like. We're filming whose common who's who's working with us and all that stuff. I'm alive the year. Your love is being on stage and going line. yeah and thankfully ads. I can focus on that with the with the team behind me and it's it is. It is exhausting. You know has an indie artist. Unsure a lot of indie artists can relate out there You just kind of a master at all saints like editing filming singing performing in the business stuff Were you just like a jack of all shades. It is nice to just have a team building everything so is allowed performance percent new year. Think it's important for us to have a team around because it gives them a one perspective on their music seeing performance in to your in the air in the business to create music and to bring musa cow. That's gotta you should focus iq. Now that's huge. It is and i would encourage everybody to build a team like what you're saying there are there are angels out there you know and keep and not only just like people that want to help you you know. Don't keep them around for that reason. It's nice that you get along with people around you know you working with each other. It's literally not there anymore. it disappeared. Where the hell did that entire airplane go. Have you ever been on a plane when things start to go wrong like the air starts getting bumpy. The captain comes over the intercom and calmly says. There's just a little turbulence and fasten your seat belt now. Imagine if things started to really go wrong you see the flight attendants start to hurry up and down the aisles. It gets really quiet for a minute or two even as the plane bounces up and down. More the oxygen masks down. The flight attendant reminds you that you're cushion is also a flotation device. The cabin starts to smell like smoke. At what point in there to you stop trying to convince yourself that everything is going to be fine and admit to yourself that this might be it. But i've found it to be the most effective one of the reasons i wanted to do. This podcast is. I've been doing a lot of interviews for press on other podcasts. And i thought this is something. I wanna talk about only own podcast because maybe there's someone out there listening that is in a drop that they fucking hate and they're listening chew skinny confidential hem in her at their desk and they want an out. And what i would tell you. Is that use the internet to create the create your own future whether it's microblogging on instagram or creating tiktok or a clubhouse or a podcast whatever that is use a platform on the internet to build a community that speaks to you that you can speak to and be slow and be thoughtful and keep that job you hate for a while but work on your side hustle. Because i really think that no matter who you are where you are. You have the power to design a strategy for your work. People that are doing what they hate nine to five should be creating some kind of out for themselves. Because you don't want to be having to do work every single day that you hate so i guess that's what this episode is about. It's about creating your destiny creating your own future like. I said i'm expert on product. I just wanted to share the journey of it with you guys. I also think it's important that if you're launching products to immerse yourself in it so what i mean by that is. I decided during kobe. That i would have the quarantine situation work. How i mean work is. I mean i wanted to not let quarantine run my life. I wanted to run. Quarantine soon started writing a book based off a book proposal. I had wrote that had all to do with skin. And i knew i was launching a skin line so i really wanted the book to come out close to the skin. Care line and the book is coming out june fifteenth. That's on amazon. Targets and barnes and noble and of course we're all small books are sold support the small bookstores and so the product launch sort of happened simultaneously with the book which was great. Because i was able to have this this book. Make sure it makes sense to your story. There's nothing worse than someone who's been known for fashion randomly launching makeup line or someone who's been known for home decor suddenly launches a merch line with their label. Slopped on it really be thoughtful about how this lens to your story and why it makes sense to your community anyway. This like i said of the podcast. I wanted to do for a long time. Your first unboxing of your the first like print feeling. Oh my gosh So surreal feel like this mixture of relief. Happiness disbelief I've lived with this book or about danielle's took me daniels to write this book. And then to me about two years to sell this book and then this whole last year has been you know a lot of everything just the general situation in the world and then at the same time it was all of these you know highs of book news like your cover coming out and seeing that for the first time and then you know get in your arc out people to read and then getting those are so many of those like insanely surreal moments but i nothing beats holding it in your hands. I feel like that's a before and after before bio and like the oft the book is it my hand. It was incredible. I was so nervous. You have all these imaginations and expectations. About what your would be like and then you hold it. I smell that we all do that. It's like the new book and like i. That's the quality of the paper and had a lovely like oh creamy yellow color. And like i was like all of those Bangle my own book so it was. It was awesome and even more excited for the launch in june. Because i know that it's you know it's a really good-looking book as well.
