I didn't really usually when i when i think reporting is just sat up in. Go right quick. You know maybe ten minutes or whatnot But we record. We actually did a pretty good. I think we had the spot firs three hours and we moved around the room. A little bit was recorded by this. Guy named dennis willis And he's he's just an incredible guy. I've met him at Another gig he was recording the audio and video for it and just another thing where you just meet somebody and you know now. We're working together. We're great friends. Yeah he's he is incredibly did a really good job on on the videos and editing and everything as incredible says you should really well so i do find a challenge to do that side of the business or just Surprise the work i. I'm fine with like working on. Like i don't like if i have to lift a couple boxes. Play some down. Make sure i i. It's kind it kind of bothers me won't have to like i don't wanna have to like sit down like record. Get up to the camera. Make sure the shots good and then sit back down. You know what i mean like. It's so nice to have a team Around you that wants to help you and like like saying earlier. My sister manager she handle so much of like the booking arrangements of like. We're filming whose common who's who's working with us and all that stuff. I'm alive the year. Your love is being on stage and going line. yeah and thankfully ads. I can focus on that with the with the team behind me and it's it is. It is exhausting. You know has an indie artist. Unsure a lot of indie artists can relate out there You just kind of a master at all saints like editing filming singing performing in the business stuff Were you just like a jack of all shades. It is nice to just have a team building everything so is allowed performance percent new year. Nineteen whether they're angel angel as in people doing it for free or People that you are part of your team that are pay. Think it's important for us to have a team around because it gives them a one perspective on their music seeing performance in to your in the air in the business to create music and to bring musa cow. That's gotta you should focus iq. Now that's huge. It is and i would encourage everybody to build a team like what you're saying there are there are angels out there you know and keep and not only just like people that want to help you you know. Don't keep them around for that reason. It's nice that you get along with people around you know you working with each other. You know it's not just one person working for another Yeah so that's huge. That's a huge thing for me. Very huge huge. And i want to talk about the offer. Me tracks was released may fourteen. Yes yeah well. All right britain for somebody. It was more like the for the intro. That song was more of what Where like the heart of the song came from. There's just like yeah. I wasn't really any. It wasn't really anybody specific people in mind but it was more likely targets. I know everybody around me. Everybody around me goes like the time with everybody was in college and like working and stuff and I don't think about anybody specific. But i definitely had people in mind for sure. You're always so mysterious. Feel weird like i. i wrote a But you know what i mean. Yeah it's okay. yeah. I think it's fun personally. It's fun for me knowing that like you know the song about this person and they don't know but they love the song that yeah so. That's kind of fun. But i don't know i think it'd be It's too weird for me to say this about you. And i can't i can't i really do. I have a song written bombs over. And whatever people that they have no idea. It's yeah it's kind of a cool thing to get the secret creators secret. Create a secret and it's fun to share with some people who can keep the secret. Yeah yeah thank. Y'all because the matinee show husbands inaudible astray and he. He wrote a book. A novel about pretty wild And off collection of characters. He's mad and we have the same discussion. No no no. And i go see me when they sleep system. Funny it's actually common creative gives you more of a license to lender. Yeah oh for sure. It's like it's almost like a reason. You know just like a way out that you can talk about something like this. I think the only song. I can really Think of right now that so directed at somebody would be like. Hey there delilah right straight like. He talks about that one like who. That's about all the time. And that's probably. That's probably like the only song i know of. You know really directed towards somebody like.

"The west is broiling. Excessive heat warnings are in effect again today from phoenix where today's forecast was one hundred. Twenty degrees to eastern montana where some farming towns braced for highs close to one hundred ten. Npr's kirk siegler reports. There is little relief in sight. For the drought stricken region. How hot is it. It's like opening an oven when you're baking pie. Captain scott. douglas is a paramedic with the phoenix. Fire department the city is open sixty six cooling refuges and hydration stations at parks libraries and pools. It's hot and people say it's a dry heat. And i'm like well you know what when it gets two hundred seventeen hundred and eighteen degrees. It doesn't matter if it's dry. Moist phoenix broke records last year. For hitting a hundred degrees or higher for more than one hundred and forty four days last year was also a record wildfire year and much of the west and every day. There's a headline screaming. This summer could be worse arizona. Lawmakers are holding a special session this week to consider a hundred million dollar emergency bill for firefighting and prevention in nevada were invasive grasses and drought have fueled record range fires lately. Firefighters have been dealing with one hundred degree temperatures for the past two weeks. Paul peterson is the fire management officer for the federal bureau of land management. Get that notarize. Get my voice on the phone ending up that to twenty more than the bloody bullet points next everywhere. There was an amber alert issued yesterday. An eight year old girl taken by force from her mother who was with three other men. Mother had shown up to the ex husbands house just before two in the morning push their way inside took that girl and apparently the mom and the spot husband have been involved in this ongoing custody battle and thanks to that amber alert the little girl was found and they say a woman was taken into custody but it wasn't confirmed whether or not it was that girl's mother again. The girl was guests safe and when it comes to transmission rates of corona virus. California is doing quite well. We have one of the lowest levels of community transmission that is based on the number of new cases confirmed over the last week as well as the rate of tests that come back positive and the cdc categorizes transmission rates as low wanna states seven day case rate is under ten cases per one hundred thousand and positive test results are less than five percent so as of right now only california and vermont are at those low level. Were doing well noise and date. And then june fifteenth we mentioned that magical date when california fully reopened but governor newsom announced that he's going to be extending his own inside powers in his own one man decisions that were granted to him last year. Going to extend those powers beyond june fifteenth. He says it's because cova still around in california and he might need those powers in the future. In case there's a spike in cases you also said the mask mandate not reinstate it and that was the case getting just reinstated. We get yourself a power. Basically what he's doing this reading an article about this. And they said that the governor is required to drop the state of emergency at a certain point or whatever and then the article made reference to the fire member took out the whole town of paradise while the emergency is still in order that was from two thousand eighteen. The fires banal for god knows how long and it's still a state of emergency mean less. Yeah and it really nothing more than you can make laws suspend laws without having to run it through anybody. This is how the empire in star wars although recall thing seemed to lose a little steam like once things started opening up and everything but i guarantee if the fifteenth comes and the things aren't pretty much normal. You're going to see that. Pick up a whole bunch again and then at that point. I'm sure you'll see decisions. Change again probable. So blatant and obvious is like a yo-yo and then in a nutshell people are pissed at peacock. Because all around la county. Everybody's fed up with peacocks. 'cause they're causing property damage and there's this loud and they're annoying they were first brought into l. a. Back in the late eighteen hundred as back in those days they were a status symbol for the rich still are people used them as burglar alarms because they would alert people two intruders god wondering around arcade et al peacock and now they're just a nuisance so the board of supervisors has actually proposed an ordinance banning people from feeding them they have given la county animal control ninety days to come up with this plan to draft the ordinance to prohibit feeding them and to deal phone. Yeah let's just hire some killers. I don't see how a bird that big and that like not really good at flying just decimated by eagles eagles but yeah continue without people feeding them i guess they say it won't get rid of them all together. "What's been really cool. Is that the content that's been created has been from you guys. It's been from so many people that have supported the brand. And i could not even ask for better content and i think that lends itself to the community community should be number one. If you're creating a product. And i think if you are creating a product now i would tell you to first create the community in platform before you launch the product and not a lot of people wanna hear that because it definitely is a longer game strategy. But i've found it to be the most effective one of the reasons i wanted to do. This podcast is. I've been doing a lot of interviews for press on other podcasts. And i thought this is something. I wanna talk about only own podcast because maybe there's someone out there listening that is in a drop that they fucking hate and they're listening chew skinny confidential hem in her at their desk and they want an out. And what i would tell you. Is that use the internet to create the create your own future whether it's microblogging on instagram or creating tiktok or a clubhouse or a podcast whatever that is use a platform on the internet to build a community that speaks to you that you can speak to and be slow and be thoughtful and keep that job you hate for a while but work on your side hustle. Because i really think that no matter who you are where you are. You have the power to design a strategy for your work. People that are doing what they hate nine to five should be creating some kind of out for themselves. Because you don't want to be having to do work every single day that you hate so i guess that's what this episode is about. It's about creating your destiny creating your own future like. I said i'm expert on product. I just wanted to share the journey of it with you guys. I also think it's important that if you're launching products to immerse yourself in it so what i mean by that is. I decided during kobe. That i would have the quarantine situation work. How i mean work is. I mean i wanted to not let quarantine run my life. I wanted to run. Quarantine soon started writing a book based off a book proposal. I had wrote that had all to do with skin. And i knew i was launching a skin line so i really wanted the book to come out close to the skin. Care line and the book is coming out june fifteenth. That's on amazon. Targets and barnes and noble and of course we're all small books are sold support the small bookstores and so the product launch sort of happened simultaneously with the book which was great. Because i was able to have this this book. This asset that i had worked on as skin-care resource launch with the product that you guys have helped me create so it really went together if that makes sense and this is another tip if you're a content creator and you are going to launch a product. Make sure it makes sense to your story. There's nothing worse than someone who's been known for fashion randomly launching makeup line or someone who's been known for home decor suddenly launches a merch line with their label. Slopped on it really be thoughtful about how this lens to your story and why it makes sense to your community anyway. This like i said of the podcast. I wanted to do for a long time. I would love to open up to questions. Because i want to know if this is even of interest you are. You is interested in seeing the behind the scenes about how i really built. The line wrote the book. Do the podcast. I would love to know if you're interested in those micro details You know the show is of interviews. But it's also a lot of solo episodes. So i get really inspired when you guys tell me what you're looking for. Definitely let me know on my latest post at more in bostick and we're going to offer you guys a code for the product. It's on shops skinny confidential dot com and the code is snatched at checkout that's s. n. a. t. c. h. easy at checkout shop. Skinny confidential dot com. So you can use the code on the hot mess ice roller or the ice queen facial oil separately so not the bundle just separately on each product and i would love your feedback me. If you do fund instagram stories. I would love to post it on my stories. And i also wanted to take a minute to just say thank you because i say this all the time but it's so true i would not have any of these platforms and i would not be able to create if it wasn't for the people who have been supporting me. I'm very grateful. And there's a lot more products coming. They are all products that i think will add flair to your beauty routine and will always try to make sure they're unique and different and cheeky and fun and flamboyance. Because at the end of the day i feel like it's time to shake the beauty industry like the howard stern of beauty. Okay thank you for listening before i go. I wanna do a giveaway for my new book. Get the fuck out of the sun. All you have to do is tell me your favorite part of this episode on my latest post at lorne bostick and i will send one of you my new book. But you're not putting out an actual times e three themselves tweeted this today real talk. Everyone would love a complete schedule. So we'll keep updating you on here as they choose reveal so you stay in the loop cool. Cooley i thought it was a weird wanted to do though you know what i mean like a weird messaging kind of like throwing the publishers under the bus but well it's weird. I definitely want to talk about this. So i'm happy. We're positive here. Because i do think it's great that he threes being transparent about this and explaining why we're choices are being made but i still don't understand why we're choices are being made sure. This is putting on the publishers. It is on the publishers. They are the ones doing this. But at this point why haven't they committed already like why is it. Each is the ring when the esa right now. City has experienced a surge in violent crime in recent weeks, including a two hundred percent increase in shootings between June, fifteenth and July second of this year, a compared the same time in two thousand and nineteen over the July fourth holiday weekend, sixty four people were shot. Eleven died when we're gunshot wounds and the last four weeks New York. City has seen an increase in shootings. Compared to last year, there was one especially. especially heartbreaking shooting on video of a father gunned down in broad daylight while walking hand in hand the six year old daughter, the Bronx, but it isn't just gun violence troubling the big apple in the past two weeks, there was a grisly knife attack in the subway and a stabbing in Brooklyn, following the George Floyd protest against police brutality. You were police department disbanded. It's plain clothes unit, which has been involved in a disproportionate number of fatal officer involved shootings last week at NYPD captured a video, mocking the new overly cautious policing tactics being implemented in New York City a following the nationwide protests against police brutality in. In early June New York City Mayor Bill Blogs, you announced. He's moving resources from the NYPD to youth and social services as part of our city's budget. Mayor de Blasio proposes cutting nearly one billion dollars, and then PD are presentative. Alexandria Cossio Cortez scoffed at the proposal calling it a disingenuous illusion thing. defunding police means defunding police on Thursday during virtual townhall because you cortes talked about the uptick crime in new. York City, pointing out constant new NYPD hasn't happened yet, and there's still an increase in crime, a proposed theories for the crimewave and asked do we think has to do with the fact that there's record unemployment. Unemployment, in the United States right now as she continue the fact that people are at a level of economic desperation, we have not seen since the great recession and the Democratic Socialists hypothesize the increase in York City. Violence could stem from Renton demands and people shoplifting bread. Maybe this has to do with the fact that people aren't paying their rent and are scared to pay the rent. She said, and so they go out, and they need to feed their child, and they don't have money, so you maybe have to. They're putting the position. They feel like they either need to shoplift some bread or go hungry that nights. Okay so let's break this down Carrie. Did she offer any information? Suggesting the shoplifting of bread is on the rise. No no, she did not. Offer any information or proof that people are being evicted McCain pay their rent now. Okay so I've got Dr Carson on today. He the Hudsucker secretary as you know, and he's the one who talks about foreclosures and Ranson evictions and stuff like that, and of course as you know because you're a smart news person of fifty, some odd years old. You know that there had been abatements for people paying rent or getting addicted or getting foreclosed on right. They literally can't be evicted, or it'd be foreclosed on under the rules. Put Out by Hud Housing Urban Development. Run by Secretary Ben. Carson, so we don't have any proof because it isn't happening. People are being shot and killed in the streets of New York. It's. It's not over buying bread or not for stealing bread, but there's no proof of anybody shoplifting more bread in new. York, so that's unverified and probably untrue, and there's certainly no proof of people being evicted or being foreclosed on because there are rules in place protecting people right now, but I guess the broader question along with why the beep is this person in Congress? Has To be wife. She saying it. Because it's also ally that there has been no defunding or disbanding a police in new. York 'cause you just said if the the crime unit has been disbanded. The Crime Unit that actually was on top of the most violent crimes, and stopping is no longer there, therefore the violent criminals who are not stealing bread. Are Out there, killing each other and killing innocent people, so your thoughts on this. Would you hear this this dolt this? Dope. AFC saying such stupid things what goes through your mind

Don't @ Me: The Story Behind Twitch's $25 Million Sex Addiction Lawsuit
"So recently twitch was served a twenty five million dollar lawsuit by Guy Dealing with a severe sex addiction. Basically he believes that the hundreds of women streamers he follows, makes his sex addiction worse in. It's all twitches fault. Yeah this story is as crazy as it sounds. Let's get into it. Guys were streaming over at twitter DOT TV. Slash the score e sports, and we're adding more and more content every single week, so whether it's talkshow clouded or the rotating Friday streams follow the channel, so you know when we go live, and maybe you'll catch me winning another absurd game of chess. I one call now wait what what kind of stupid game! I. Don't honestly I don't know how the first happened. Okay? Now back to the lawsuit on June fifteenth. A guy named Eric Estherville filed twenty five million dollar lawsuit against twitch lawsuit states that s still suffers from a bunch of health issues, including OCD, depression and a severe sex addiction, and the lawsuit goes on to say that quote. Because of these maladies he heavily relies on the Internet for all of his entertainment, purposes and quote. Quote and basically he suing twitch, because he alleges that women twitch streamers make his sex addiction OCD worse quote twitches severely exacerbated his condition by displaying many sexually suggestive women, streamers through twitches, twisted programming, and neck owed making it nearly impossible for the plaintiff to use twitch without being exposed to such sexually suggestive content and quote to be clear, and this is in the lawsuit s to below follows exactly seven hundred eighty six women streamers. Zero male streamers not only does the lawsuit named twenty popular women's streamers including. And pokey, Main in-includes, pages, and pages of photos of these women as evidence as I was going through this lawsuit looking through these photos, it just felt really weird. It didn't sit right with me. One other issue that s says exacerbates his sex. Addiction is the fact that you can't choose to break down streams by gender quote. There's no way for the plaintiff to filter streams. He'd like to. To Watch based on gender, male or female. Therefore, the plaintiff has to choose a game and or category to watch with thumbnails, showing these scantily clad women alongside men of being the only streaming channels available to him and quote now in reality you could manually filter between men and women streamers, depending on who you follow, but remember according to the lawsuit Esta follows exactly seven, hundred, eighty six. Six women, streamers and zero men again, according to the lawsuit, the twenty five million dollars estabilish, asking for is to be split between him in other twitch prime turbo subscribers with the rest of the money leftover going to charities of the courts, choosing on top of the twenty five million s Davila was asking twitch permanently banned the twenty women named in the lawsuit. Okay, everything we just discussed. Discussed makes up the front half of the lawsuit. The entire back half of a lawsuit is dedicated to multiple academic papers, breaking down the history in research done on sex, addiction and listen. This is a real medical issue in this guy deserves all the help that he needs. But blaming women on twitch is probably not the answer now. If you're thinking where the hell did this come from. Actually ESTHERVILLE. Oh has history of filing these kind of over the top lawsuits. It all starts back in two thousand nine after s Davila was banned from PS end for being a troll while playing resistance fall of man online and if you didn't know. Is Basically playstations online ecosystem similar to xbox live? Here's a quote from an interview. He did with an gadget when he originally filed the lawsuit quote. I sued Sony because when they banned me, they banned my whole console, which is like a five hundred dollar waste there because I can't go online anymore, which was one of my ways of socializing so when I sued for fifty five thousand dollars that was something called punitive damages. When you're trying to penalize a company, and that's what I was trying to do. Penalize them for banning someone and quote from there. He sued Sony again. Plus Microsoft in ten does over flaws in different console designs that he purposely tried to find that in. In Two thousand ten I Japan gamespot could talk in a bunch of other gaming websites did their job in wrote about the lawsuits that Estella had filed against Sony Microsoft and Nintendo and he really didn't like that like as in he filed one giant lawsuit against thirteen different websites, because he was upset about the fact that they were writing about him. estabilish became so notorious that he was given all sorts of nicknames, the plaintiff the serial sewer. The list goes on. Also he wants sued blizzard, because apparently walking in world of warcraft took too long and in the lawsuit he tried to rope in actress, Wynona Ryder to explain the significance of alienation in Catcher in the Rye and quote. Rider, catcher in the Rye world of warcraft lack. Of and you probably won't be surprised to hear that. All eight lawsuits were either dropped by Estella himself or dismissed by the court outright now the complaint against twitch was filed on June fifteenth, while the summons was served to them on June nineteenth meaning legally now they have to respond in court, and while twitch hasn't made an official statement on this situation. It's only a matter of time before the core proceedings become public and hey, maybe this case will farther than anyone else was expected. What? He said all the haters. I'm not trying to zag just because everybody else is going in one direction, but I honestly don't understand. A lot of the complaints like people are really upset about the story, choices and things like that and it's just like. Why why are you upset that somebody told you a story that. You didn't agree with the choices like it's not your fucking story to tell. And I get that we have connections to characters, and when certain things happen. It makes you upset, but. Really. I fundamentally do not understand how people can be upset about somebody else's narrative created in Britain.

"Together China in India account for more than one third of the entire population of the world, and if you believe the predictions of Keisha Mahbubani, remember him. He's been a skit on this program. He's the distinguished Singaporean intellectual. He says the future is Asian, and it's China's and India's to shame. But as my next guest points out. There, a deep historical tensions between these two budding global superpowers, which might make that impossible. China and India share land border in the Himalayas which has been in dispute since nineteen, sixty two, and it's been a pretty quiet style for decades, however, since May tensions have been rising nuclear powers facing off in a remote corner of the Himalayas, the disputed Kashmir region. This is the first the classroom this border in forty five years Indian government confirmed twenty of its soldiers were killed in the clash. China seems to now be making new claims to territory now. Thank you for having me Tom now. The border dispute between China and India has probably been the most tasteful. Conflict in the world. No one died and forty five years. What sit this conflict of? It was set off because of some early moves in early May that. had. Brought forward troops and equipped military equipment at different points on the China. India boundary the line of actual control. In the western sector particularly of their border, which is eastern Hlavac and at multiple points, what we saw was attempts to change the status quo whether it was to establish a permanent presence in built in areas, but both sides claim. Or attempts to stop a Indian patrols from moving in those areas which they have traditionally done. That's set the context. It's been going on since at least early May. What we actually saw what was happening to June, sixth meeting between senior military commanders was that they had agreed to a process of de-escalation and disengagement but something went very wrong in the course of this de-escalation. And this is where the incident took place. Now this particular incident has just been a larger in scale and an this whole stat of larger scale, but also regrets aggressiveness and the ones we've seen before, and there are reports that both countries are deploying some serious weapons to the bases close to the border. Is this just posturing, or is there a serious risk of Esscalation I? Think these kind of situation. There's always a risk of escalation. We've seen at least three. faceoffs three major face before this one between the Chinese and Indian military's in two, thousand, thirteen, two, thousand, fourteen in two thousand seventeen This one is could have larger in scale. We've seen as we did. On June fifteenth that even though they have traditionally had a whole series of agreements, standard operating procedures protocols in place between the two countries to avoid the kind of Esscalation we saw injured fifteenth. They clearly are not sufficient anymore, so let's put this in a broader historical context. China and India and went to war in nineteen, sixty two over the border. Now this of course was at the heart of the Cold War. Taibbi take us back to the geopolitical context of the time what was going on? By the time, the nineteen sixty sixty-two war broke out between China and India. You've seen a few years from about nineteen fifty seven about five years already of rising China Idiot tensions you've seen. The Indians relies that The Chinese did not consider. The boundary settled that they were building. A roads through territory India sought was India's. You saw scuffles skirmishes at between. The. Two sides patrols at various points on the boundary. You also saw the escape of the Lama. At a number of Tibetan. Refugees remain to stay in India in one, thousand, nine, hundred, nine, which the Chinese soil with deep suspicion and suspected that the US and you had worked together to engineer about escape. And, so you seem kind of rising tensions between China and India and at the same time you see you saw. The US India actually because in a national park because of their shared concerns about China actually starting to move closer towards each other for the for the the US This saw a in democratic India as both Jew potential, a political counterbalance, but also democratic contrast to soviet-backed Communist China accident, very interested in supporting it. N India welcomed that support, and so that was the. what was? Preceded that sixty to war, but which occurred when the Chinese decided. To move what they call the self defense a counterattack. And in nineteen, sixty two. Move across across the boundary took and defeated India quite badly, which laughed a number of different. It's a it's left a lot of historical baggage.
