"This next Beer say arrogant on the but no. He can't say that on the radio. This is an eye quota direct quote. It's the arrogant bastard ale seven point two percent alcohol on this beer Obviously not the same thing. You can see that when you pour it. Look at the color i know he just look at the colors a lot darker so it says on the back here and they i mean they go after some people here. This is an aggressive beer. You probably won't like it. It's quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication To be able to appreciate in aol of this quality and depth we would say. I feel like my girlfriend's told me something like this. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory. Maybe something with a multimillion dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you. It's made an independent brewery or one that implies that they're tasteless seltzer physial beer. Whatever the hell will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi million dollar ad campaigns make all that junk tastes better. Perhaps your mouthing. Your words read this while. I'm actually reading it on the radio. And we believe the p. pandering to the lowest common denominator represents the height of tyranny of virtual for of keeping the consumer barefoot stupid and led by the nose social media Brought forth upon an unsuspecting public in nineteen ninety seven arrogant bastard ale openly challenged that Tyrannical who brazenly yeah. This is a lot of reason reading for a beer. We're brazenly attempting to keep the people chain in the shackles of poor taste. Awful arrogant sounding one glance around. And it's glaringly obvious. They're winning as of now yet. We will not stop ever since the very beginning arrogant bastard ale has revealed in. it's unprecedented and uncompromising celebration of intensity. There have been many najd arrogant bastard. Aol even outright attempts to copy it but only one can ever embody the true nature of liquid arrogance hated by many loved by few. That was a lot. That's more word. That's a higher reading level than i obtained in highschool great. Look at you eat them just thinking that this particular beer is after tasting it. I mean it's much darker than the pale ales. We've been doing now ready and it is very very bitter at the end to me this while i've heard that it's potentially a strong. This is more of maybe like an. Es be an extra special bitter or something like that is almost to that. Category to me is the malt. The heavily multi. It's a little too heavy for me. Is that he. Bitter hits there at the battery and yeah so. This is not an american paola. I i met the messed up here. it's it's an interesting take on it. I love this beer though. I think it's great to throw us a curve. In fact eric eric. Bastard ale is probably one of the my go. To's if i see it on the menu this is so..

Did you bring in So i happen to find bootstraps Sticks pail This is a sessional beer. they say Five point five percent ab And it's made with mountain rocky mountain glacier water all right so That's their version of the pale. And i'll let you all give it a shot. What do you think. I haven't mccann what music to pair with it. Don't they doesn't it on the here. I was looking for that. That's why i was like that's just the website maybe have to say. Yes i agree. I think their website. You have to tell it's it's different. It's different than what we just had. I'm not saying it's good or bad but it's different than knows is not as hoppy but it still as happy. It's just a different aroma of hops. It's much more fruity hop little darker in color. Little darker in color The head is still about the same as what we had But this one is a little bit more full bodied. Yeah for sure. And the bitterness doesn't whack you in the back of the head It just sort of slowly comes on as you get to it. It didn't agree i concur. I concur that's not what makes radio righty guys. Got a hate each other for something. He said about the beer. Come on now. i don't know it's kinda hard to her. I it's not bad. It's it's not. I don't enjoy this as much as the other one but i haven't had my third set. That's kind of why i was. I was hanging back here. I think this one is eight joint as much as the other one but in a in a different way. It's it's it's a different even though it's the same style beer it's it's a different beer and i'm known as much i mean. That sounds dumb is dumb but make sense right. Yeah it's it's the same type of beer but it's a completely different pre. This is why we love beer. This is why we're able to talk about beer every single week. "Patio at fifty three centennial boulevard in highlands ranch branch prost's taken a big step i. It's the right step right now. I think that that is what people are looking for. Is that big gigantic patio space. But also a big space indoors where you can get out of the weather. If it gets a little achey for later. I think that's why the the pros taproom in fort collins so successful because they have a huge beer garden right but they have a good space inside to get away from the winter. And it's always interesting and especially i mean this is weird that we're tying this back into a beer show but The cost construction right. Now is so damn high The cost of everything i know. But do you get a little worried when you start to see this and say okay. I'm going to build it for x. Amount is that price going to stay there. And that's i think that's what i would be worried about just as a business owner in general but you might be thinking my return on my investment is going to be x amount. I'm expecting this many people to extra to come to the place. And that's going to overpower any cost of construction for the most part unless it's just made out of gold or something. You're making a move like this. You're you're not too concerned about the cost of the building. You're more concerned about the future of the brand right. Yeah i mean. This is a huge step for the brand. There's no doubt about it. But you also i mean with them much square foot footage available. You gotta have a lot of people showing up. And i mean pros though i feel i proceed as a name. Now that's well enough known that It it very well should draw. That many people on their flagship is pretty close to course field so they get the baseball crowds. Their second location in fort collins is right in old town. So it's they're getting good crier right..

"Back into the handle cushion special studios. We're talking american pale ales tonight. It's gonna be a good bunch here We'll come back in. I'm tanner went Chad young owner of the tavern. Say michael square. Dr michael motor with rule. One zero five brewing company We got done tiger around beer festivals. And what things are changing their right. And that's gonna be exciting. It's gonna be fun to see how people utilize at because you create something like this and then somewhere some someplace. Someone's having an idea that could make this a very cool idea to work with it but let's shift over here to a different story. Falling rock tap house will be closing inning. Craft beer era fellas chad. I think you were the one who shared this actually. Yeah that's sad to see craft or falling rock has been a staple in the crappier jammed for a very long time. Definitely it opened nineteen ninety-seven so you're talking twenty twenty four years ago just a block from coors field it's it poured. it will be pouring. Its last pint on sunday. June twenty seventh So that'll be its last. Eight closure will sever router that has helped steer people to small and independent burris. A safe harbor where you knew there would be quote unquote no crap on tap it will also leave a hole for thousands of colorado rockies fans making their way to the stadium every summer when you've got a brewery that lasts for twenty four years in that competitive market. They were clearly doing something right. Yeah and they always did. Like they're an event right around kind of coincide with jim into makes you wonder if there's somebody who's retiring and nobody wants to buy or what. What's the reason why they're gone out because it it's a great location to it is as the last year and a half maybe too much and that could be too. That's what the bar founder chris. Black said it's been tough. This has been tough But twenty four years is a pretty great run And yeah there's no doubt about it and it does not mention why or how or what the reasoning was behind it but twenty four years in the craft beer in any industry is ridiculously good rights. That's a career. Yeah it really is and and It did i mean he kinda set the set the stage for what the you know the the craft beer scene not only in colorado but in denver specifically that twenty four years ago. That was pretty early on this whole adventure before the big brewery. Boom you know they were pulling from breweries and californian or all over the country and beers that you couldn't find anywhere else but at the falling rock so yeah i think the only thing that was down that way was probably what win cooper was about it..

"They Have loosened this up a little bit Now for breeze and distilleries Hotels casinos and restaurants to they've got more freedom to host festivals outside of their places of the business and include other liquor manufacturers in the fun And the new rules introduced originally as twenty one. O eight two will also allow burris out festival permit in their own name. Rather than in the name of a nonprofit organization which was the previous mandate. So now they're opening it up where You don't have to be nonprofit. You don't after the festival if ruina five if the tavern wants to go ahead and put on a beer festival under their own name in their parking lot they can do it. That's awesome. that's really awesome. So we just have to file on her own liquor license to be an event license for that that's nice. I think it's up to six. You can have throughout the year. If i remember it say i. It's something along that The the berries can still donate money to nonprofits but they can organize staff and run. The festivals themselves In addition the law which previously applied only the winemakers from its festival organizers to quote engage in any retail operations authorized by their existing licenses. So you can make a little bit of money out there as well. Bruce will be able to offer packaged beer sales to go meaning. They can set up festival stores so that attendees can keep the party going at home so i thought that was a. That's an interesting piece of legislation. night. Right i mean. We've seen the the bearded go sales That is here to stay now. They're making a little bit more lenient with this now as business owners restaurant for you chad and and burri owner for you doc. Is this appealing to you or does it sound like a lot of damn work right now. Well i think right now For us it'd be a lot of damn work because you know we're already short staffed and i think We're not the only ones..
