Disney+ Has Raised Its Prices
"Mike got noticed. Recently that the price of disney plus subscription is going up. That's right if you remember back in december. I know it seems like eons ago. Disney announced the plan to increase the monthly cost of the subscription. And i got that email a few days ago too. But the price would increase on march twenty sixth so disney plus alone will increase by one dollars going from six nine a month to seven ninety nine annual subscriptions will increase ten dollars from sixty nine nine to seventy nine nine thousand nine and if you get the disney plus hulu. Espn bundled like i do. It's increasing from twelve ninety nine monthly to thirteen ninety nine per month but the entertainment giant justified. The price increase based on its aggressive content. Plan if you remember back. In december when they announced the price increase they said gonna be developing ten new marvel series ten new star wars series and more than two dozen disney and pixar movies series and and then also be on that just recently disney announced more theatrical releases will come straight to the streaming service. The marvel film. Black widow starring scarlett johansson originally set to hit theaters. May seventh will. Now be out july ninth in theaters and simultaneously on disney plus like the films moulin live action mulan and ray and last dragon. You can watch them on the street service. It's called premier access for an additional twenty nine ninety nine. That sounds like a lot but you know when you take your kids to the film to the movie theater. It's more than that you know. Just me and my wife is probably thirty bucks to get in Another film that's gonna come to To disney plus on this premier accesses correla the action film the villainous from the hundred one nation story and starring emma stone. It's going to hit theaters and disney plus on may twenty eighth and another film picks ours. Luca will now stream exclusively on disney plus on june eighteenth similar to how the movie soul came out at christmas time. We whatever disney's been doing with disney plus it's work. Black Widow to be released on Disney Plus and theatres simultaneously
"Had been or at least i had been anticipating the film black widow. Had you been anticipating black widow. I will watch it and try to enjoy it when i am able to like. I'm not against. I wouldn't say i'm vociferously pro either. I just. it's this world that i live in so we're going to be living in a black widow world not until july ninth. Because that's the new date for this film. However the film is not going directly to movie theaters. as we suspected it's going to disney plus premier access which means it probably will cost twenty nine ninety five to watch at home. It will also open and movie theaters but this is a pretty radical decision. Obviously the mcu is the surest bet in theatrical movie going so there was some some outcry about this there were some other also announcements around the disney movies late in the coming year. A bunch of movies pushed back. We also saw the crew. Ella is additionally arriving on may twenty eighth on disney plus this same premier access approach. What do you make of this This disney shift. I feel for the theaters and especially the smaller theatres who i think. We're hanging their entire financial futures on these movies exclusively coming back to two theaters and i think it changes their their outlook. The maybe it confirms their outlook. You know i don't really know. that industry wise. That's the that's the big

LeBron James and the Miami Heat: From Champions to Breakup to NBA Finals Opponents
"Brian Windhorst you have spent I think the last decade of your life trying to establish successfully establishing by the way that you are a lot more than the Lebron guy after knowing and covering him longer than any other human being in our business dating back to your high school days in Akron and then even through the time you famously up and moved to Miami to cover him there. So I just want to begin by apologising for pulling you back into the orbit of the same son we've been worshiping for now seventeen years well I wouldn't be here but for Lebron I, extraordinarily fortunate to meet him when He. Was Fourteen years old his move to Miami in open the door for me to come to ESPN. So I, Oh, Lebron immensely, and while all of us want to spread our wings as we get older certainly would never shy away from or or tire from looking at this this guy because he's been influential character in my life and thankfully and influential character in the history of the NBA. Yeah. That was incredibly well said but now it's time to get super messy because in this case in this series where there are so many different interesting storylines and angles, it does feel like past might be prologue. I want to go back ten years now. It is July ninth, two, thousand and ten and Lebron James is introduced to heat fans for the first time along with Dwayne Wade and Chris. Bosh introduced to the NBA really for the first time as this big three and Lebron is asked about his plan for winning championships in Miami. Three kings came down here to win championships. Not One championship to Lebron. Tell us about that not too on. Now. Now by. Not. Fix. So at that moment. How did the Miami Heat See Lebron era playing out? Pat Riley thought that that was. The Greatest Dynasty team that he had ever been able to be a part of. Better than magic and Kareem and James Worthy. Better. Than Shack and Dwayne Wade better than the hopeful teams that he had with the next with Patrick Ewing and Allan Houston John starks. He thought this was one of the greatest teams in the history of the NBA. He saw a horizon for a decade where they would be in the finals year after year after year and maybe they wouldn't win it every year and maybe they wouldn't win five six or seven Lebron said, but they would rack up. It was going to be his sunset team. He was going to ride this dynasty out and then go into the sunset and it was an incredible for years. It was one of the most prolific four year runs in the history of the NBA, but it wasn't that dynasty and Pat. Riley, has never one hundred percent ever gotten over.

Duchess Meghan Releases Statement Supporting Friends After British Tabloid’s “Vicious" Attempt to Expose Them
"Week. We also saw the Duchess of Sussex released a statement supporting five of her close friends. Friends after the Mayland Sundays, in her words, vicious attempts to expose them. It was an eye witness statements legal document that was filed at the High Court here in London, on July ninth have a copy of it here where the Duchess accuses the Mail on Sunday of trying to create a circus with a friends real lives now these of course are the five friends gave interviews to people magazine in early twenty nine teen in her defense after a barrage, all particularly unpleasant commentary and obstacles in says an areas of the precision press. Megan says an has said already in this case in previous statements that she had no idea that the article was happening until it actually hit newsstands. But the mail, on Sunday, half these five friends names because they have been entered into. The case confidentially by the Duchess of Sussex's is legal team by request of associated newspapers. The argument here of course is the man on Sunday saying that they should be in the public domain, and the Duchess of Sussex's legal team is saying that these are private citizens. Young mums who do not need to be part of this circus. The paper is clearly trying to create. Making writes in the statement. She accuses the publisher of trying to expose the friends in the public domain for no reason other than Click Bates and commercial gain. She goes on to warn that the action is vicious poses a threat to their emotional and mental wellbeing. Of course it will be some time before this actually goes to trial among Cadogan that releasing the name so early in the process when they could potentially act as witnesses important witnesses. In this case, is not going to do any help for either party. But of course, the argument from the Sussex side is that the male really just want to create headlines? Ounce of this other than at sort of do this for any benefits of the case for either side. Megan's already repeatedly stated and ego responses to the publisher. They're being three. That, she knew nothing. If these five friends is cooperation with people, magazine, and effectively, it doesn't affect the grounds of which cases based on which is copyright infringement, an invasion of privacy Megan goes on to say these five women not on trial, nor am I the publisher. If the Mail on Sundays, the one on trial it is the publisher that acting unlawfully, and is attempting to evade accountability to create a circus and distract from the point of this case that the Mail on Sunday unlawfully published my private latter. It's. Very powerful statement I think what's been really interesting about this case is the clearly. The Duchess is not afraid to hide anything. We've actually learned a lot of private information In case it must be quite difficult to sort of be going through these issues with her father again so publicly, and there is no doubt about it that when this does go to trial, it will be a circus whether people want to avoid. That's unfortunately. That is the sort of what we're building up to here. But you know I've spoken to sources close to the Duchess and their legal team, and they're clearly very confident in the purchase. They're taking to this and you know they. They believe they're standing on a very good case a moment as I said earlier. The Mail on Sunday does deny wanting to actually print the names of the five friends, tellingly in their statement that was obtained by C. News. It says to set the record straight and Maryland. Sunday had absolutely no intention of publishing the identities of the five friends this weekend. quite telling that it really specifies this week and. It goes on to say you know this is why. We told the Duchess's lawyer last week that the question of that confidentiality should be properly considered by the courts. Sources actually told me that it was Megan's lawyers doubt sent that they will put on notice by the Mail on Sunday's lawyers, just on Mondays. This is just a few days. Before Megan's witness statement at basically telling them that the males confidential filings should be properly reportable by the media. That's their words. They warned that if Megan's legal team did not apply to the core by July, the ninth, then they would simply assumed the names of the women were no longer confidential, so this situations actually quite contradictory to the statement released by then, and it gives an glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes in a case like this, we all sort of in somewhat unprecedented Tarik trae. with a case against the tabloid by member, the Royal Family because. Sifi! We haven't even gone to trial yet. And it's already unveiled quite a lot, and will no doubt be a difficult situation for the Sussex is to go through. They've. Already well into the next chapter. And this will of course be a heavy burden of for them to deal with a as it. Looks to continue for some months CONSI. See this going to trial until. Late in the year or early next year and

"Today's interview is cool for a lot of reasons for one. He's in sales and for all of the emails that I get from people who are in sales and struggle with drinking at conferences and events just know that you're not allowed second dusty. That's our interviewee. Today dusty went all in. He'll explain what it's like to go to detox. He went to i. o P, which is a great kind of middle of the road option if you're not able to go to an inpatient treatment center, but you need more help than just trying to do this on your own, but this is the real kicker. He also told his CEO about getting sober. And telling our bosses or colleagues that we're struggling with alcohol is a huge scare for so many people and totally. Totally valid were very black or white people. You know and probably assumed that needing treatment is a reason that we need to be fired. You know that was an alcoholic or whatever? Where do you WANNA use and that? We just deserve to be canned and I can't stress this, too. You enough. That's not the case. If you're in a place with your drinking where you need to take the time off work to go, get healthy. That's worth talking to somebody about. Be Surprised at one. How supportive your work people might be into that. You have protection from Fmla the Family Medical Leave Act. Laws vary state by state. So this is something you're. GonNa need to do your own research on Start with googling it or ask your HR person, but saying I'm having trouble with my health and I need some help is not enough for. For you to get canned, this is not the first time either. I've heard a story. Where someone told their boss, they were struggling and got nothing but total support. It's been shared on a handful of stories on this podcast and I. Don't think they're unique. People want to help you and I think it's really brave when you can give them the opportunity to do that. The other part of this interview that I WANNA point out. That's Kinda special, because we don't always get to talk about. It is detox detoxing from alcohol? If you're heavy, drinker can be incredibly dangerous, if not deadly if you're doing it on your own especially, if you have experienced physical withdrawals before I probably not share this enough when telling my own story of sobriety with other groups, and on other podcasts, because I did quit cold, Turkey, and that wasn't safe. Alcohol withdrawal can do more than just give you seizures. It can kill you and there's no. No gold standard for measuring timeline of how long you have to drink in order to experience withdrawal by the way for anyone who was wondering why liquor stores were still open during the yeah covid nineteen like quarantine shutdown liquor stores were considered an essential business. That's why because some people are so physically dependent on alcohol that not having hall is too high of a risk for killing some people or sending them to the hospital, and that was the whole part of the quarantine is that we had to make room for all these hospital beds right? So back to detox when I quit drinking, I was in a period of heavy long-term drinking, but it was so stealth that most people had no idea, but I still went through three days of detoxing feeling like total dog shit like I had the flu. My kidneys hurt like my actual organs hurt I. had a fever sweated profusely when I slept. had a hard time or even just getting up and taking my dog out, and I was also an idiot for not telling my doctor about this and I'm a smart girl, but that was a dumb move, so if you're not sure, please talk to your doctor. They won't shame you. I know it's going to feel a little bit embarrassing, but it is so much better to be safe than to be dead and detoxing by yourself can absolutely do that. It can be fatal, so please please please be careful. All right before we get started a little housekeeping. If you'd like to join my book club to read how to be an anti-racist by Abram Candy, you can sign up on recovery. Happy Hour, DOT, com! We're doing a zoom discussion on July. Ninth and all the proceeds will benefit a nonprofit to be announced some time this month. Also a big thank you to Chaban and Allie for your generous donations to the podcast. I really really appreciate that. If you'd like to donate, you can do that by visiting the website, or you can always support the podcast for free by leaving a five star rating and writing a nice review on Apple podcasts for me, thank you. All right let's talk to dusty. He is thirty eight. He's been sober for just under two years works in the tech industry and lives in Indiana. We Talk Detox IOP coming out to your boss accountability therapy twelve step, and just about everything else that you could possibly do inside a rock-solid recovery program. All right, let's get to it. Hi Dusty! How are you? I'm doing good tricia. How are you I'm good I'm good. Thanks so much for sitting down with me tonight and take a minute to have a little recovery. Happy Hour with me psychic to know ula better absolutely I appreciate you having my own. Yeah, well, let's start this the same way. We start every interview on the show and that is what is your name and your sobriety date, and would you describe yourself as high or low functioning drinker? So dusty. My sobriety date is August twenty, eight, two, thousand, eighteen and I would have considered myself A. Extremely high functioning alcoholic, so got it. Yeah, we'll get into that here in just a second real quick. Tell me just a little bit about you know where you live. Are you do for a living hobbies anything like that. So I just had a birthday not too long ago. thirty eight and I live. Thank you. I live in Indiana currently live about forty miles southeast of Indianapolis in a small town of about seven hundred people so. What do you do for fun? lot of outdoors. woodworking is one of my big hobbies and spending time with family I have two young kids on both were adopted and just spending time, family and wife and kids at this point his by far my favorite thing to do

Alice Paul: Feminist, Suffragist, Political Strategist

Us and steered the Movement for an equal rights amendment. Let's talk about the One and only Alice Paul Alice. Paul was born on January eleventh. Eighteen eighty five in Mount Laurel. New Jersey to William and tasty Paul. Alice was the eldest of four children and was raised in very comfortable surroundings. The Paul Family practiced the quaker faith. Alice leader cited the quaker belief in gender equity as formative in her strong drive towards promoting women's equality. Her mother tasty also had a major impact analysis later work tasty was a suffragette and a member of the National American woman. Suffrage Association herself. Alice attended swarthmore college and graduated with a degree in biology. While there she participated in a variety of extracurricular activities she was a member of student government and she played field hockey tennis and basketball. She was also a celebrated poet classes. Commencement Speaker in one thousand nine hundred seven. Alice traveled to England to work at the would brook settlement while there. She met Christabel Pankhurst. We talked about last week. Christabel introduced Alice to England suffrage movement. It was more militant than what Alice seen in the US. The British women fought under the motto. Deeds not words and took the words to heart. They smashed windows and went on hunger strikes among other tactics. Alice joined the 'cause later saying she broke more than forty eight windows and was imprisoned. Multiple Times Alice returned to the US in nineteen ten and got to work pushing the more radical suffrage agenda. She brought back from across the Atlantic in nineteen thirteen. Alice organized a suffrage parade. Woodrow Wilson had just been elected. Alice plant her march for the day before his inauguration purposefully stealing attention away from the President Xi succeeded in making the suffrage movement front page news but she also made the very problematic decision to ask black women to March at the back of the parade. She failed to appreciate the importance of the diverse movement instead focusing primarily on white women. This is a mistake. She would go onto her. Pete throughout her life in one thousand nine fourteen. Alice founded the National Woman's Party. She was incredibly good at rousing attention for her. 'cause members of the National Woman's Party were the first people to ever pick it in front of the White House during nineteen seventeen. They picketed six days a week after women won the right to vote with the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment in nineteen twenty. The National Woman's Party had to decide what to focus on next? Alice was lobbied to work on. Expanding VOTING RIGHTS. More broadly instead. She turned her attention to expand women's rights. Outside of the electoral sphere in Nineteen twenty-three Alice wrote the equal rights amendment to the US Constitution to guarantee equal rights. To All American women. She actually went to law school. In order to be qualified to write its language the was introduced in Congress continually until it finally passed in Nineteen seventy-two still the amendment hasn't officially been added to the US Constitution. Because until recently it lacks ratification from the required number of states. Today it's actually the closest it's ever been the ER as tale is a long and wild story that warrants. Its own whole podcast in fact. We've made one. It's called ordinary equality and it's available wherever you listen. Alice passed away on July ninth. Nineteen seventy seven. She was ninety two years old Alice. Paul fought tirelessly for women's legal progress and equity in the US. She's not a perfect hero rather she's a leader who changed the course of our country's history while also having her fair share of flaws

Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting victims identified
"It is hard to hear about violence against children and even harder to talk of it you hear that in the voice of Scott Smith the police chief of Gilroy California where the victims in a mass shooting were as young as six any time a life is lost at sea tragedy Florence young people it's even worse one dash our system is very difficult police chief in Gilroy California and peers Layla Fadhel is been on the ground in Gilroy and is on the line let the good morning good morning what even sing well last night I attended a visual and people gathered together in the hundreds to sharing our shock their pain but also sharing each other strength in the faith face of such a tragedy leaders and community members vowed not to allow other town in this festival to be defined by this violence you know the Gilroy garlic festival has been going on for some four decades most people and go right volunteer they attend and a lot of the survivors I spoke to who ran when they heard bullets were young like the people killed so take a listen to Britney Mendoza a sixteen year old from Gil right hi Lewis at the festival when the shooting started while it happened I was kind of like trying to laugh it off Michael you know we're saying but I soon as I got in the car and it started hitting me and how I started cracking a little and that's when I got in shape no windows survive but others weren't so lucky she said she was there with her sister and her dad to more in the lives of those that were killed and be with her community we've referred a couple of times to the use of those who were killed what is known about some of them yes I mean they were young Trevor Herby of Romulus New York twenty five he recently moved to California his alma mater Cuba college posted about is killing on Facebook a thirteen year old girl named Kayla Salazar from San Jose California and a little boy just six years old name Stephen Romero we've seen his smiling picture circulated and he was killed and a number of people wounded as well of course and then there is the single person and it is a single person right so far that that that is held responsible for this well at this point the police had been looking and are looking for a second person and the witnesses identified but they're not sure if anybody else was involved if this person even exists okay so one person and what is said about the one person you know his name is something people don't want to talk about they don't want to mention him they don't want to give them a platform but the police did identify him he's a nineteen year old originally from Gilroy he bought that assault style rifle legally in Nevada on July ninth where gun laws are less restrictive and he cut through a fence and enter the festival on Sunday where he started shooting and killing people in his own hometown and at this point FBI doesn't no motive police said they don't know a motive there's a lot of speculation about an Instagram post that was attributed to the gunman that references and nineteenth century white power manifesto but authorities don't know if this account was the gunmen and they don't know if this was a random act of violence or driven by a specific ideology Layla what thoughts occur to you as you cover this mass shooting haven't covered a number of them before including the nation's worst shooting in Las Vegas and you hear some of these phrases which are are the appropriate things to say but people say them again and again that this is a tragedy but will be strong will get beyond that and the other things that people have to say yeah I think it's there is this horrible routine almost to the way that mass shootings now unfold and most people were insisting this cannot be normal this cannot become normal and yet in a way it has later thanks

"July ninth and i don't know why july ninth just seems have ring out in my head but but it does and a and there's nothing special that i'm aware of i suppose i've known some people with a birthday in the past and i just happen to have memorized it that is their birthday and that's really of no value to you whatsoever so let's get on with what's really valuable here today and i wanna talk to you about accusation in confession now these are spiritual terms and if you're not a believer again i'm not holding out of collection plate were not gonna be baptizing after this is over so just you know keep keep hold your horses relax there is eight and on the this is the principle that i think is true whether you believe in god or not it will work whether you believe in god or not i just happened to believe that it works better if you do believe in but i say all that say there's a couple of things you need to realise 'em you are going to hear and accusing voice in your head whether you recognize that as the voice of your spiritual spiritual enemy or not you're gonna hear that voice and we've all heard it right you know it's it's the whole 'em you're not good enough you don't have what it takes you're not qualified you're not part of the in group you're not the right race sex sex at cetera you're not the you know you're not the caliber you don't play at this level you gotta you gotta an end to be honest i mean i'm not suggesting for a moment that we should suspend any objective reality clearly disqualifies us from things were not qualified to do i am not a believer in comparing apples and oranges as though they were oranges and then ignoring the be obvious fallout and consequences of doing that there there there are consequences when we refused to recognize objective reality and i'm not suggesting we do that however i am suggesting that if you are unintelligent a sufficiently intelligent human being a to such an extent that you are aware of his vision for your life whether you've come up with it on your own or whether you as i have of you got it from almighty god 'em and then you are acting in accordance with that vision you're in other words following the the principles of chill of heard many my guest talked about which is you gotta have a vision for business because you cannot scale or grow your business if you don't have one right so if you are possessed of that vision or amos and then you're in an active pursuit of it and you begin to hear this accusing boys and i started this year little whispers of it today was at the gym and i was a little bit mentally a strung out i guess you would say i was i had a had a really difficult morning it's the day after fourth of july the kids their home 'em and they're making noise and i'm trying to get work done and i hadn't done a very good job of setting boundaries because normally the kids go after school off the camp and now we're getting into summer season and it's one of those days where i gotta get some work the anyway you know the the the goes on but the bottom line is i went to the gym feeling frazzled and so when i feel frazzled is when i start digging the accusation you don't know what you're doing you don't have any expertise you don't really know anything they can help anybody you don't understand all these deep things about business you're gonna get you're you're a fraud right so i figured well you know i'm probably not the only person struggling with this i know i'm not the only person struggling with this a particularly in the kingdom of god an i don't think i should sit by and let it keep harassing me a without detailing feeling for you how i responded stuff like this because i think the m i a here's here's what i believe i believe the laws of the universe the laws of the kingdom of god are set up in such a way that they aggressor a somewhat represented by satan is is at liberty 'em though the though what he does is immoral and violent reprehensible he has he can by virtue of the fact that we're living in a fallen world he can attack right if you've ever seen the movie 'em oh what's the cs lewis movie lia the one the four kids and the chronicles of narnia that's it chronicles of narnia if you've ever seen that one the white which comes to confront a as one 'em for a edmund who is the traitor she says remember the the laws every trader belongs to me right every trader belongs to me in and what that means basically is that because of the fall right they original sin of adam and eve we're all prone to attempt by are are temperature to drag us into eternal punishment with him in in in the way he does this primarily particularly here in the west is by accusing us of drowning assume guilt and shame and sorrow and all that kind of stuff and so i'm again i'm not trying to proselytizer here i'm just pointing out of spiritual reality that that whether you believe it or not has eight physical parallel in a parallel in the material world and a parallel in the psychological world in an end believe it or not it also has an answer the chicken but you can get back to it so it made me think you know i'm gonna shut down a couple of principles a couple of rules that i've observed a throughout my lifetime a couple of tactics a couple of ways i think about this and then pass along to you and maybe you'll find this useful so the first thing i wanna i wanna point out is it in a court of law you can you couldn't be arraigned in the rain does you're hearing right that's where you plead guilty or not guilty and if you are guilty if you plead guilty to something right 'em then that is taken into account in your sentencing now 'em this is the the parallel begins to diverge a little bit here because of course when you're dealing with the kingdom of god you get the pardon and the blood of jesus christ to cover over so that you don't get any kind of sentencing in fact you walk free right but the the parallel is the same if you insist on pleading not guilty when you are guilty right then you go into a lengthy trial that but in any any eight at the end the end result is supposed to be the jury found guilty despite you're plea of not guilty and sentenced in convicted but when you play not when you plead guilty to something right in and ordinary human a court of law that sets off a chain reaction of consequences an indie sense of accusation and and and condemnation of the you're gonna deal with isn't entrepreneur imposter syndrome a similar thing is gonna happen by pleading guilty to watch by by by beating your accuser to the punch in confessing to what he's about to accuse you of not innocent not in despairing way okay fine i guess and what enemies and he said no no this this is how i have behaved or this is what i have done this is where i have failed but but you see the problem the nice thing is you don't have to stay there you get the say well that's that is that is what happened in a in publishing we called the sea open loop story then in the middle you place the principal but you've learned right so in my case it's this is you've heard me talk about addiction right and i have learned a strategies and prayers and formal formal declarations and accountability and brutal upright honesty about my addiction to the point that i can say it and i and i don't walk around feeling ashamed i don't walk around feeling accused i don't walk around with my tail between my legs because of things that i cannot go back and undo right they can't unring that bell k that did that is what it is but you can learn from it you can learn the principal in reverse instead listening ahead of time and simply not doing the wrong thing you can learn what not to do and move forward from it and teach other people in the process because in their case now you've acquired the information that is useful to others right now you've acquired information nation that is useful to people who have not yet made the mistake as well as people who have made a mistake and don't have interpretation for it you now possess that information and that is valuable to the marketplace okay so you cannot be accused of that in the spiritual this is certainly true you cannot be accused of that which you've already confessed and to that end all the great facing jews christians catholics fantastic at this they have a they have the whole process for it you know you go sit in a little a confessional and you say bless me father fry up sending all that comes up and if you're if you're actually taking it seriously and you are owning up to things that are actually sentence in and you understand the the let's see oh gosh it's a it's a fancy schmancy theological word there's no point in me remembering it trend substantiation i think it is but the point is if you understand the principle that your sin has been covered and paid for by the blood of christ then you walk out of that prison so while it's the same principle here right you you confess you own up you take responsibility you take extreme ownership as you might have heard and you walk out of that prison so it can hold you back anymore right 'em by the same token so you can't be accused of that to which you've confessed and this also has they a flip side to it in that is that you must not confess a to to what he slander what's slander comes about 'em when you pursue your vision you're mission with integrity so so the other side of this is that even if you escape they accusation before you even get started then you get started and people start bad mouth and you anyway they start to add this is a bunch of this is phony a this is nothing but a bunch of who we are yet is is you know here she is a small town smalltime they don't know what they're doing at cetera et cetera and i you know the key thing to remember about that folks is that it's it it operates from a place of envy an envy is contempt envy is is just peoples and people profoundly aware of their own inner emptiness and how it's not full and that's why they can't bless you know they can't bear to watch you succeed where they have failed and so instead they just tried to tear you down it's one of the worst aspects of are falling broken nature as human beings but it's true and it's out there and there are plenty of people inside an outside the kingdom of god who indulgent regularly regularly i used to do it myself 'em it's another example of something that the power of confession will disable that sending your life but as i've heard my mentor john eldridge say who wants to admit to this you know so 'em when it happens to you they only they only proper response to it is love because to to love somebody like that to do the very very opposite of what they're expecting her hoping or even afraid you'll do a when when you find out what their attitude is and and when you hear their belligerence the only thing you can you can do that that they they cannot possibly respond to his love is respond benevolent lee you don't have to entertain it you don't have to believe it you don't have to treat it as a fair argument none of that 'em but love is the only thing i found particularly in the kingdom the love of christ that's what i say when when i find out that somebody secretly hates me earned envy's me i just say i i i pray for that person and i love that person i bring the love of christ between me and that person because there's nothing else it will work itself 'em here's another legal principle what you do in darkness is admissible in court unless you confess it before accusation is brought right so in what you do in the light is inadmissible in court unless you confess it before proceedings began so what do we talking about here well if if you are prone to destructive behaviors ban you beecher accuser to the punch by bringing it out into the open before he could bring accusation that he will never bring me accusation 'em what you do in the lights meaning what you do authentically pursuing your vision and mission with integrity is inadmissible in court unless you confess it before proceeding begin unless you confess in other words that it's that it's admissible if you another words if people want to slander you if they want to bad mouth what you're doing if they want to express their envy it's it's as far as whether or not what you're doing is is valid invaluable an honorable it's inadmissible it's it's in other words it's irrelevant if you i wouldn't even bring it to to the court of public opinion you just keep doing it right in the short way of saying this is i heard a mentor of mine said this one time i don't ask people what they think of what i'm gonna do i just do it.

"Of course, you have your your your tesla conference every January, but there are some other events there that you're you're promoting tell me about those. Yeah. We have in Belgrade Serbia sometimes could do in June, July nine and ten. And also in Philadelphia. We on tesla. So okay. It's pretty interesting. Also, call oldest people with the free energy equip and who displayed in national park, really put you cannot do anything for them and then second amendment storm there and all this. That's of input assumes. So. Do a lot of different presentations. He goes to Franklin institute once a month and do presentations. Public. Different schools events for the school simple. They'll carry John. Who can go through that website and find a lot of things. Alright tesla Science Foundation dot org. Michael Las Vegas called back. But he was his line was still cutting out. Basically he was asking about the practicality of wireless energy. And you you mentioned this in the first hour, but just mentioned it again for those. You're joining us late about his experiments at warden cliff and and. How practical would it be to transmit energy through the air? Without the need of transmission lines. It's pretty hard. Question is good question. But it's very it would be perfectly that it'd be have in our house. Widely Senator g and became computers and everything without any cables either. This will be close to this very close. Question is this going to affect our bodies? Do and I have create any medical problems and Ocampo global teams just really very very critical that what's going to happen. One thing is. But the users of the second thing is what's gonna happen with the. Thing cruise the countries would leave only or no selling the energy and oil are they going to act and what's going to happen. So it's. The way it would be very practical to have everything wireless. Never put. Gasoline in the car to be able to drive the car. Bickel dreaming. We will never be paid. That's I don't think there's ever gonna happen. But. It's. What what this present to the people? It's deeper story short. It's very complicated enormously complicated. And we all have a vested interest. We all have a vested interest in the fossil fuel industry. We're all right. Sort of in this together. Can we talk a little bit about the battle between Edison and tesla AC versus DC? And how that was alternately decided I mean, it got pretty nasty Edison. Was kind of a kind of a master at pub-, publicity stunts and things, but let's talk a little bit about that battle. And how we arrived at a C versus Edison's DC. That I. The main thing is we all know that energy cannot be transferred. Betty fodder and. We will have like power station almost inevitable. Just imagine. How many in Toronto power station you have? But that's one way or the other theories. If is something illegal this. If you don't have a Sheila will probably have better fix solar. We will use geothermal a lot. And who knows what those will will make. You know, also I some old the goddess before we get the gasoline engine. We have electric cars. So it would probably work. Really good. So. Yeah. A lot of benefits ACL. His son was not really easy. Quite innovate coke. You wanna protect choosing into this know killing. Designing exchange and it did. And it was very tight fight who I get the data pools who got lighting cheeses, Chicago sad. All this really easy. And there was also kidding north jersey in one small town and electric lighting was built around the globe ACO lightning. Big. There was woman under this this light, then she'd disappear. And that's when the break that's been do all this stuff and their evidence for that, the people talking about this tell me more about that a woman disappeared because of what it is a roadway, New Jersey and this love and he gets problem in New York. He moved in New Jersey. This is not not parts of the jersey, and they build electric lighting first elected quite thing on the Glock. It puts sixteen lights on. Polls before that they have guess. Yes lights, and they have c light thing. Now, they have lights with lust would give more light brightness. Lust energy use. And they don't have to come every morning too Gasol only in the morning, get everything. So now, they have this beautiful small town with a lot of light there. So they're LA's everybody coming to see this and. That so use paper the woman. Some woman disappeared from somebody who knows where and how. So there was woman of the tests for light and people watch just disappear. Because of the tesla lightning and people are so scared lake and they destroy all distinct nerve growth bacon, have believed his investors slept. So in other words, this was this was a scar. Touted? This was a scare tactic to scare people away from C was that the idea. Credit? Yeah. Let's let's let's go back about this yellow prints. See I got to smoke foul called society. And I was able to find eight year old man who work there. The end of the book about all this stuff in. A lot of us and Soviet. Well, let's stop and everybody thinks otherwise I will not talk about this about other stuff. I'm not sure. Right now, the Royal family, they'll leave New York, they have spent three books published. All yellow prince what about this law? What? Different newspaper publishable. And of this stuff. Is on a tesla collection dot com. So people can be able to. So that's how people like you don't shake hands. You don't right that much and everything now some someday sitting home and finding different information, and they just relating the book and believe, and again, you mentioned, you know, Hollywood to make different stories people making creating studies, but we can't take this. As a I think, I love this museum websites. It's not really big. But whatever it's there. It's for real. And I was stated that right? You'd mentioned just getting back to Edison versus tesla AC versus DC. And you mentioned Edison building this electric chair. And for people who don't know the story again Edison wanted to convince people it was trying to convince people that AC because it had it was the ideas, it would it would need to be transmitted over long distances. And therefore it was dangerous because the greater greater power was needed. And so he decided to build an electric chair for someone who is on death row. I believe it was in New York. An electric chair using a c current alternating. Current. And and so people would would see okay, they're using this deadly alternating current to kill someone again. This was part of the the PR war that Edison was launching against tesla. But but it really was lost. The battle was lost for Edison after the Chicago's world fair. Correct. Because it was so successful. See what the other thing is majority of the houses that van was built by hordes today. I wouldn't wasn't house. And now, they have to expose they have some kind of installations thinks and divide hanging in one side of the walls, and that expose so you just have some kind of think what you connect your lights to this vice and a lotta times houses, but let's say, you know, there was saying like if you wanna put in your house you call Christian so ACL tradition. Granny the away. So they said convincing just you mentioned convincing people.
