Bond set for father of July 4 shooting suspect

"The father of a man charged with killing 7 people at a July 4th parade appears in court Saturday. He's charged with 7 felony counts of reckless conduct for helping his son get a gun license. Robert krimo junior's bond was set at $50,000, the judge agreed to his release, he must hand over any guns at home on Friday when cremo turned himself in, Lake county states attorney Eric Reinhardt said, charges were based on the dad's sponsoring his son's application for a gun license before the July 4th shooting outside Chicago. Harrison guardians are in the best position to decide whether they're teenagers should have a weapon. Reinhardt wouldn't elaborate but authorities have said accused shooter Robert cremo the third attempted suicide by machete and family members had said he threatened to kill everyone. That came before his dad sponsored his gun application. He knew what he knew and he signed the form anyway. I'm Julie Walker

What Binds You to Your Past?

"If you have another definition for taking me, I would like to hear that too. It is literally the definition of divisive. The left is inclusive if you're a leftist. The only inclusion on the left is fellow leftists. Though you watch the queen's funeral and what bonds one Brit to another, the royal family. What bonds them or bind them because either is usable verb here through their past. To think of how many generations it goes, the hereditary nature of the royalty in Britain. Let me defend that. People don't like that. Oh, you're born a king. You're born a queen. You're born to prince. You're born a princess. Well, you know what it does? It avoids corruption. That doesn't mean that no any individual member of the royal family can not be corrupt. Of course, humans are humans, whether they're royalty or not. But there's no you can't, there's no buying a seat as it were in the royalty. You're born it. And that avoids all the intrigue of who will be king or queen. And the like. Obviously you can't have that for other positions in life. You have to elect prime ministers and presidents. Of course. But there is a case to be made for just being born into the position. When a prager 7 7 6, I deeply deeply lament the death of ritual in American life. July 4th was such a big deal for most Americans. Throughout most of our history. The marches in parades, the bands, the music, and of course the fireworks, so much took place on July 4th. Up to July 4th has gradually become a day for hot dogs and beer. And that's pretty much it. In fact, July 4th has been demoted. It's no longer the date of the founding of the United States of America. The date is 1619 to the left. Not a celebrate the founding of America for the left is a disgrace. Amazing. Just the words will I say them. They're jolting. The founding of America is a disgrace for the wife. The finest country ever made in history is a disgrace. With these foolish people, and that's what your kids are taught at any given college. In the United States of America and increasingly high schools and elementary schools. And if you don't teach that America was founded in 1619, your censoring the teacher. Was I see the queen's funeral. These have the thoughts that come to mind. The last funeral of a monarch. What was it? 19, I guess the 1950s. In astonishingly long reign. I don't know if the woman made a single public error. She, she had a trait that I love in people. I love it. Dignity. It was always a sense of dignity around her. And that's a burden. Let me tell you something. To know that every time you are in public, you are being assessed, every gesture, whatever you wear, how you behave what you say, and yet she was not perceived as a nothing. She was a substantial woman. And she loved her country. We need ritual, my Friends. You don't have good ritual. You'll have bad ritual.

Does the Biden DOJ Prioritize Illegals Over US Citizens?

"Does the Biden administration and the Biden DoJ really think that illegals are first class citizens and ordinary Americans are second class citizens? In other words, does the Biden DoJ give preference or priority to illegals over ordinary American citizens? It would seem so. And I say it would seem so we see this at multiple levels, but I want to talk about a case that I didn't know a whole lot about. I think I saw something about it. There was a plot to have a mass shooting on July 4th. That was foiled in Richmond, Virginia. Now it turns out there were two guys who apparently were talking about doing this mass shooting. They were actually talking to each other, but a third guy an ordinary American heard them. He heard them talking about this to quote shoot up the Richmond annual 4th of July celebration. And so he called the police and the police were able to identify the man who was who said this and they raided his residence and they found two rifles, a handgun, 200 plus rounds of ammunition. And they also discovered that the guy, his name was Julio Alvaro dubon, is a Guatemalan citizen. He's an illegal, illegally in the United States. So he is an alien in possession of a firearm, essentially plotting a 4th of July shooting. It turns out he has a kind of a co-conspirator, another guy, Roman. Who was also arrested. The two of them were planning to do it together, the vote from Guatemala. And so they go before a judge and think of the seriousness of this. You've got criminal aliens in possession of firearms plotting a 4th of July mass shooting. Think of the carnage that they had in mind. By the way, it also turns out that one of them had been deported twice, deported twice, but again, with the Biden open border policies, strolls right back, and so you got these two guatemalans trying to inflict damage on Americans and they go before a court. And the judge, the general district judge. And grant's $15,000 a bail. $15,000 bond. So let's pause here. I mean, you have January 6th defendants who are who don't get bail

Dr. Mark McDonald Explains the Dark Effects Lockdowns Have on Children

"There's something deeply troubling happening in America. We have the most depressed, suicidal, alcohol addicted, generation, in history. Why is this happening? Did we do this to ourselves? Well, with us to help unpack and explore that topic and we don't have enough time to do it, but enough to get started is a great American patriot doctor Mark McDonald, doctor welcome back to the program. Good to be back, Charlie. So doctor, let me ask you from a psychological perspective. A lot of parents are wondering, now that the lockdowns are over and their kids are back into the flow, why are they now more depressed than ever? What's your answer to that? Well, my answer to that is, you know, I've been seeing children for ten, 12 years now in private practice. And in the last two and a half, I have never, ever seen such a rapid precipitous decline in mental health, anxiety, depression, suicidality, two children and my practice died during the lockdowns, both from fentanyl overdoses in their homes. I also see incredibly huge rapid increases in drug use, especially marijuana, which as anyone who's been listening to news lately has heard, is finally now starting to get it to do as a cause of significant psychotic breaks and executive functioning problems in young people. It should have happened years ago and finally it's now being heard. The reason why we still have problems, even after these lockdowns are over is that we haven't actually addressed the fundamental problem. And the cause of this mental health collapse. And in my view, it has a lot to do with alienation, particularly young men and young boys. We have not supported strengthened and encouraged boys to become men to explore, to grow, to challenge, to accomplish. We have essentially been telling them now for years and years that they are the cause of every problem and society that they are rapists that they are misogynists, that they're the patriarchy. And so what you see, and you saw this just a few days ago on the July 4th shooting, as you see a very disturbed young man, you can tell just by looking at his face, his hair has gone to expression. He's confused. He's wearing a skirt he wants to be a transgender girl. These boys don't have a place. They don't have a sense of purpose. They don't understand what their identity or their meaning is. And so they're leaving now this locked down period where they've been sitting in front of screens playing games and watching porn, not going to school, not being tested with reality. And they are completely at a

The scene of this awful 4th of July parade attack shed about their gun control laws in highland park, Illinois. That passage of the assault weapons ban in large capacity magazine ban that we put through in 2013 should be a template for others. And I've been working since 2018 to get the state of Illinois to allow other cities to have that opportunity through a weird twist in the way that we were able to do that. There was only a ten day window for cities in Illinois to pass assault weapons bans. That state preemption needs to be removed and I've been working on that. How did your assault weapons ban work out on July 4th? For the 7 people who were murdered.

Washington Post in Los Angeles Times, I assume, but I can not state for certain New York Times. Just those the first two were enough. All they did is publish how terrible America is on July 4th. But there was a very, there was a line in the in the piece in The Washington Post that I think and I mentioned this yesterday that I really thought. Was a critical one to understanding the left because they're very difficult to understand. Because they're for only tearing down. I don't know nobody knows what they want to build. AJ Looks at the Cluster of Presidential Deaths on July 4th

"The close cluster of July 4th, as really weird. Especially given the prehistoric prehistoric, the historic importance of that day. The first adult Thomas Jefferson was 83 years old at the time. And he was bedridden for a month with a bunch of different physical bullshit ailments. He called a fever on July 3rd, died the next day. At his home in Monticello, Virginia. Meanwhile, since hundred miles away and Quincy Massachusetts, 90 year old John Adams was also on his deathbed. And he died soon after that. Entirely unaware of Jefferson's passing. Adams oblivious last words were reportedly, Thomas Jefferson still survives, and it was the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. That's some crazy stuff. It really is. And president John Quincy Adams stuck struck by his father and Thomas Jefferson dying, not just on the same day, but on such an historic occasion, he called the timing visible and palpable remarks of divine favor. Those are such wonderful words put in a row. Visible and palpable remarks of divine favor. I'm not even sure how he came up with that. That's beautiful. There was a Saturday back then, Daniel Webster, and he agreed. He agreed remarking in a eulogy a month after Adams and Jefferson's death, he said they were proof that our country and its benefactors are objects of God's care. And then I know this is like a history lesson, but it's really important. It's July. It's July 4th, these deaths are saying. 5 years after Jefferson and Adams passed away, James Monroe dies of tuberculosis at 73 years old. At his daughter's house in New York

"Is easier for us to vote. That means that we must. Honor ourselves by voting. We can not take our votes for granted. Justice past what the report went out on the 28th of June, that the Supreme Court has. Reinstated our racially gerrymandered congressional map in the state of Louisiana. They reinstated their 6 to three. That's interesting. 6 to three. Under these maps, black voters. Will only have, let me read this. I'm going to read this, this was written on vox dot com by Ian, melcher, I hope that I said that properly. Thank you, Ian, for this report. And he says under these maps, black voters will control just one of Louisiana 6 congressional seats, despite the fact that African Americans make up nearly a third of the state's population. Thus, the court's decision in are done versus Robinson means that black people will have half as much congressional representation as they would enjoy under maps where black voters have as much opportunity to elect their own preferred candidate as white people in Louisiana. Now, isn't that something because isn't the whole reason for Independence Day is that the people who rose up who were probably 99.99% white said, we will have no. Country over us if we are not representative. No taxation without representation. And here we are in the state of Louisiana where a group of people will not have proper representation. Okay? The Voting Rights Act does not permit racial gerrymandering. A preliminary injunction temporarily struck down the Louisiana maps. And ordered the state legislature to draw new ones that include two black. Majority districts. That's something, isn't it? Here we are. 4th of July. And in the state of Louisiana, there will be voters that are going to be taxed and not have the proper representation. This is why we need to vote. We need to vote to make sure that we are represented properly. We need to fight voter suppression. Okay? I know we say the same things over and over again, but look at what we're going through. We're losing freedoms. We're not gaining any. Not only are we losing every type of freedom you can possibly think of, but even losing the freedom to vote for our representatives based on. How many people live in a state. Everybody else has their representation, but we're not having any. Okay, I'm going to talk about upcoming elections for federal office. Okay, and the following states have elections for federal office in the next 90 days. So let's talk about August. Now, oh, I'm sorry, I'm starting July. July 19th, there is a primary election in Maryland. July 26th, there is a runoff primary election in North Carolina. Why am I telling you this so that we can be informed and understand when our elections are coming up? Because it is sometimes these elections, you might not hear about them. I have people on the phone who say, is there an election? So we just need to keep track. Sometimes there's election in one place, and there's not an election in another place. Okay. I guess. Primary elections, August 2nd, are going to take place in Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Washington. Please make sure everyone in Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Washington, August 2nd, you have a primary. I've already sent in my ballot. I have an absentee ballot, and I sent in my absentee ballot and already voted in the primary. August 4th, there is a primary election in Tennessee. August 6th, there is a territory primary in the Virgin Islands. August 9th, there is a primary elections in Connecticut, Minnesota, Vermont, and Wisconsin. August 9th, there is a special general in Minnesota CD one. August 13th, there is a primary election in Hawaii. August 16th, there is a primary election in Alaska and Wyoming. August 16th, there is a special general and Alaska U.S. House. August 23rd, primary elections in Florida and New York. August 23rd, there are special elections in New York, CD 19, and CD 23. August 23rd, there's a state primary runoff election in Oklahoma. August 23rd, there is a runoff special primary in Oklahoma, U.S. Senate. August 27th, there is a territory primary in Guam. It's important that we know these things. We have to expand our horizon when it comes to our voting. In September, September 6th, there's a primary election in Massachusetts. September 13th, there is a primary election in Delaware, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. October 20 in October, okay? Okay, there are no elections in October scheduled, okay? Okay..

I've seen them take opportunities and make foolish errors like you were talking about with letting Erica Wheeler just prance mosey whatever you want to say up the court. And just hit a three in your face and what you knew when that shot went down. We talk about this. Over time is just is so short that it almost always feels like whoever goes on that run first is winning and the other team just won't have enough time to come back. And when she hit that shot, I think everybody was sitting there like, it's gonna be a long 5 minutes of the New York liberty. So yeah, I mean, I think the liberty have the tools. It's about, you know, guiding it and it's about using it in the right way. And honestly, they're a team that I'm gonna start looking more closely at because my question now is, is this player errors or is this coming from higher up like the coaching? And look, I'll be blunt. I love sandy brown delo. I think she's an amazing person. Love chatting basketball with her. Love interviewing her. One of my favorite coaches to interview. But I had similar questions when we were talking about the Phoenix mercury. Now, obviously, then atrocity, Brittany griner, and a bunch of other superstars, is completely different situation than we have in New York right now. But to that same degree, you have to question not only the players but the coaching staff. Also, my down team kind of part of the reason I went long on the Minnesota thing was my down team of the aces. I mean, yes, they're on a one game losing streak. So don't panic. It's not like they're just dropping off the face of this planet. But they're getting everyone's best game. Similar to what you saw in Seattle over the past few years, similar to what you saw in Washington or Minnesota or the LA sparks. Chicago sky have kind of been been lucky that they made that playoff push as a 16 and 16 team because I feel like they didn't necessarily get the respect of a champion. As the respect of how dominant of a team they are with Las Vegas aces were so smooth cohesive and ready for the season from day one, we're seeing, you know, I'm having flashbacks to last year's Connecticut sun team, except this team's faltering before the playoffs even started. You know, they've started to drop off in every stat. And I think teams are starting to kind of pick up on the fact that, yes, Asia Wilson does everything this team needs to win, but if Jackie young and Kelsey plum aren't hitting their shots, if Chelsea gray isn't hitting big threes, if for quantum Williams isn't hitting big threes, you know, you can kind of put a on an island and say Asia, are you going to score 50 points to carry your team? Right? Because I think a mindset that I've kind of seen is coaches go, okay, yes, we're obviously going to game plan for Asia because we'd be idiots not to. But at the same respect, we also understand that it's a 5 person game. And if their guards aren't hitting shots at least, that's what I saw in Minnesota. And then and you have it the ability to get the rebounds versus hamby versus Asia, then this is a team that is meant to shoot the three. They're a team that's meant to let it fly and run it and gun it. And it just seems like teams are slowly getting to their form where the aces were already in it. One of the aces are getting the best game from everybody and look, this regular season is probably the best thing that can happen to the aces and the sense of they've tasted the glory of being that top dog. Now they've shrunk down and they're kind of tasting defeat over and over and I think that can only help them in the playoffs, but my big question still stand. The depth of this team is crap, and we haven't seen anything to address that. Yes, Rakhine is here. Yes, Rupert is here also, but sorry I didn't say it with a French accent. But we're not seeing enough from this bench that tells me, hey, we can hold it down to give these players and I know you're going to run down on some of the minutes and everything, but for me, it's like, it's not just about the minutes. It's the reason why you're not putting starters on the bench is because you don't have faith. You can't trust your depth. I mean, we saw what happened when they played the bench. Yes, it was already a blowout, but then the blowout just.

"In seventeen seventy six seven hundred eighty nine still strong enough and sound enough to resist the tremors of our time our our god given right secure our run liberties protected so the next holiday that we wanted to take a look at was columbus day because that is a holiday whose meaning has changed quite dramatically over time so if you have the fourth of july meaning different things to different people columbus day has changed dramatically what it was intended to do and what it is now become so columbus day is one that fascinates me because the The history of columbus in fourteen hundred ninety two columbus sailed the ocean blue one of the few dates in american history. I can remember solely because of that. Of course the arrival of columbus and his sailors on the nina. The pinta and the santa maria in the bahamas is going to change world history. Although columbus never actually set foot in north america european settlers and euro americans went on in our history to celebrate the idea that he opened the way into these parts of the world. The initial reason lie americans sort of pointed at him was they were constantly worried about how the new world seemed or could stand up in the face of the glories of the old world and this was one way in this was one way to claim that the new world had a history. But that's actually not where we get a national celebration of columbus day which is a product of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries which is one of the reasons that i'm always fascinated by this history in fact in the late nineteenth century during reconstruction or during what many scholars still consider reconstruction the influx of italian immigrants to america. Most of whom were catholic. Means that italian immigrants are portrayed negatively in american history and a lot of different ways. There's a lot of stereotypes about them. And they get lynched it 1891 a mob of about twenty thousand new orleans residents lynch eleven italian americans who have been incarcerated in a new orleans jail. And when that happens. There's actually an outcry. From the italian ambassador to america from the italian government and an office at the time is benjamin harrison this a flurry of information between the secretary of state and the president. About what america should do about the fact that these italians have been lynched and one of the things they do. Is they offer an indemnity. To each of the victims families harrison called for a proclamation celebrating columbus landing to be celebrated on october twenty first. He intended for it to be a one off deal but it takes off in the northern cities primarily at takes off in cities where there is a large population of italian immigrants and also catholic immigrants so harrison says columbus stood in his age as.

"These five monday holidays will be a better tranquilizer than any doctor's prescription. And you know what he kind of had a point. I love our monday. So one of the congressmen who supported the idea of moving. Washington's birthday and memorial day and veterans day all to mondays was a democrat from new york. A guy named samuel stratton who said bypassing this legislation we will become the working girls friend for life. Now i have to say that. When i first saw that quote i actually was so irritated by it that i had decided i was not going to read it so i'm very glad he did it for some reason. Got me fist waving irritation but yes. It doesn't eat very much. Show the spirit of that particular moment in time all right. This time we got holidays. We have first of all the idea that we have to make sure that banks all over the country operate on the same schedule and we have to try and make sure people have a safety valve and make sure that they bring in a lot of money tourism..

"And it looks like we just lost feral. I i apologize for that. Ladies and gentlemen what we made it Fifty five minutes of the episode tonight before it'd be issue welfare farrell's answering that question. I'll i'll just give you my thoughts on it right now I liked dobbins. I don't know if i necessarily liked him I if the three zero six. But gus edwards i think is being a little bit undervalued and this area farallon talked about this earlier you know ninth and tenth round. If you're building on running back up edwards would certainly make some sense their fair. We have you back now. What were you gonna say about dobbins. As as far as his season goes. I know they're going to expect more from this year. But every is a very very tough player in atlanta with the team. Here as you well know. He's from maryland is probably some sort of government Situation that he's after satellite. Start but yeah. Edwards is is a great player. And if it ever opportunity you know you look at natural handcuffs Kamara in murray. That's a handcuffed that everybody is willing to make i think dobbins and edwards is an excellent handcuff. Edwards is a tough between the tackles runner. This is very much like Earlier in the show. We were talking about the sermon and most or however you've got the styles of of the players Flipped here but the dolphins has a high based on what this team expects of him as a player in the situation with edwards. They're very happy with what they're having. So you'll get more of the same with edwards. Dobbins will get the opportunity to provide much much more for the baltimore ravens this year. Thus making his is draft Slot right now appropriate for his contribution if you want to put the commission's advice into practice go to caf fasih dot com sign up for the main event. There you can draft in louisville with luminaries like we have in the chat room tonight and yours truly. You can also draft live in cincinnati and of course online as well feral if they want to give you a buzz. Talk a little bit about the k. If that's the correct me. If i'm wrong. Five zero seven five two three five zero five seven. You're getting close up. I'll be.

"They don't have to play the baltimore's in pittsburgh this year. So i think the type of contests that they'll be in favour all those washington players but maclaurin is the number one guy and you're right Some of those other players sued may have a hard time improving on their twenty twenty totals because of the quality of the teammates. I think curtis samuel gives the opportunity for this player to have desensitize senses. That are not keyed on him. So yes. i'm very much in favor of drafting this player wherever i can get him. It's amazing to me that he is going In front of lamb But he could have a season that that gets close to Lamb has but i i see I see i would flip them with their. Adp make a little bit more sense to me. Yeah yeah no. I think so too. I think that that makes sense. Another question from the chat as as we've been talking about the wfp in there The conversation has shifted from. Terry mclaren's to tony gibson. Feral running back ten right now. Now normally at the two four now normally. This is a player Who has the resume of potentially being when we used to do the ascendant on this. Show a guy who's gonna rise up draft boards and people are just going to throw. Adpl window and get gibson when they can in the f. fcc and kfc however it's already going the tool for. I don't know if he can go much higher. In fact it's fair to question and and wakai wants to know this. Is it fair to question whether gibson is actually being overdrafted at this point. Going ahead of guys like nick. Chubb najah harris joe mixing Aaron jones and more. I think he's in the mix and when you come around the first round and you're moving in the second round know you feel. I was in a situation where it was gifts. Intermixing and i mix and a probably in looking back at it and understanding understanding some of the competition. He's going to have i. I kinda. I kinda wish i i. A- buyer's remorse on nixon immediately. When i did it you're right. He's gonna send employer. We haven't seen as best football yet. And i. i really believe that This is as high as he needs to go but it's the right place for him but amongst other players. He has probably the biggest chance to do more than he did last year. Which is best. You can ask for When you're drafted a young player We don't have a ton of time left. But i think we got enough time with one. Maybe two emails. We'll see what happens. Here let's go to lance and laurel maryland right away. He writes dealer dear bulky and the commission since neither jk dobbins nor gus edwards catches a whole lot of passes. Edwards is a much better value later in football guys dressed. Change my mind. Your show is the best that has blance and laurel maryland land. We certainly appreciate that Gus edwards right. Now as far as adp goes feral. He's actually being drafted his running back. Forty three at the ten old three dobbins obviously much higher running back seventeen at the three. Oh six so. I don't think there's any question. Dobbins will clearly have the better season than edwards. But when you're talking about a difference an adp of almost seven full rounds. Does it make more sense to grab edwards instead of dobbins Or does he represent. Does edward represent the better Value when you consider draft capital here over the second year running back from Out of ohio state for baltimore dobbins going to score off.

"There's no reason that there's no reason. You shouldn't have cooper to mike. Goodness cd lamb's a great baller. Yes he is a good ballplayer. Four sir very excited to get him on a. But i think already have several teams this. You're looking forward to a big baath post-season from the man out of oklahoma so you know. Big twelve football All right terry mclaren as long as we're sticking with nfc east players here receivers peril term corn worked with doug baldwin. The former seattle seahawk this past off season to try to improve his getting a release when he goes up against the more physical corners on his schedule. This year term mclaren in two seasons has not had a great quarterback Someone say he hasn't even had a good quarterback but wide receiver to Level for fantasy managers over the last two seasons number twenty four and number twenty respectively in twenty nineteen twenty twenty now. She could explode as well. I think top ten is a little bit aggressive but it always seems like somebody likes maclaurin a little bit more than me and i always seem to just missed out on them Right now in in drafts. He is in the He's he's rarified. Air wide receiver eleven. He's actually going ahead of ceedee. Lamb right now. Keenan allen michael thomas going right above him like my concern with mclaren this year. Is you know having curtis samuel opposite him. Having logan thomas Who proved himself as a worthy tight end last year. And then you have the case of Of antonio gibson looks like a really good pass catcher and jd mckissic. Still there as well. I know a lot of those players. Were there last year. My concern is is the volume going to be there again for third straight year. 'cause it sorta has to be if you're gonna take him as the eleventh receiver off the board i think so bulky and you know fits will how to use his assets in this players one wonderful asset. I love what he does Writing you know the suddenness of lamb copied here if maclaurin s why many towns get the ball To him Within the cushion of the corner and let him make physical plays. I really liked the fact that players consciously working or one aspect. That was game a young player like that focusing on getting better than one area where he knows that he needs. This is a very good sign i would. I would give a nudge to this player schedule as well. I think everyone knows that. The nfc e straws the afc west this year and and that's going to present Great opportunities i think it washington club opens with With the chargers in those games are going to be a little looser Than some of the nfc matchups or some of the you know they don't they don't get to..

"Decision making sometimes leaves me somewhat baffled so this is a very very long answer but i think julio jones is right and considering all the risk of what the offense is going to look like and what we should expect from the number one receiver there that the jones is in a great place but When you take a look at the players that are being drafted around him. Jones perhaps has the biggest upside is a guy that has done it before then for many years and in can do it in an elite way. So yeah jones. Is there in your fourth round yard. Grab yeah and late fourth and in a lot of last he's been split the greatest around the fact he went in the last five days. He has In football guys he slipped as late as the five zero three. So certainly a great buying opportunity if you can With the quote from ferris bueller. If you have the means. I highly recommend it. Yeah so choice. I'm going back back with your march chase right now the rookie receiver from cincinnati. Now it's interesting that the bengals chose to use a first round. Pick on chase when we saw with their second rounder. For last year higgins was capable of and the fact that he was expected to make a big jump this year. now he's still could make a big jump in fact. According to brian callaghan who is the offensive coordinator for cincinnati. He says higgins is in a play a huge role in their offense. Big report of the athletic this week The bengals are counting. On a big leap from higgins who put in a lot of work in the off season according to the article. Now we talk about your martinez. Even tyler boyd. We've talked about the last years. I drafted him in kentucky on wednesday night. Very excited to get boyd late The the the bengals have been talking a higgins. I don't know if this is a case of. Hey i know we use the first our first round. Pick at your position but we still love you and we believe you're gonna do big things in this offense. But i i guess i look at it from the standpoint of when joe burrow was healthy last year farrell. When he didn't have jabbar. Chase when t higgins was still sort of getting his feet wet joe burrow was averaging like i think twenty seven or twenty eight passing attempts in game just to the receivers..

"The last five days and the In the fcc running back thirty eight at the nine four conversely he's made is your Competition there in the backfield is devon singled. Terry running back. Forty eight at eleven o. Nine there is now two rounds of separation between mawson single. Terry we saw. I think we also talked a little bit in this article on the athletic. About how Moscow it could be the the guy who gets the most snaps the most touches in the bill. Backfield there this year. Are you bar exact boss in the ninth round right now as a potential starter on a high powered offense. That's where i'm looking for. Other positions namely quarterback waited that long. So i hadn't been in the business with moss and go back to what i just said. The quarterback with his legs scored eight touchdowns last year. When you get in the red zone. It seems like he's going to carry the ball and that's not going to help Any running back. That's involved in a situation. Single teri does does everything will accept pets. The ball Moss has been you know. He's been hampered with a lot of bad luck with dangerous. And i don't want to call him injury prone but you know he's missed him in the nfl. That's very very valuable. Time utah I think there's better. I think by the time you get to the knights round. There's there's probably better running back on your team and if if if you need depth why not. He's got a. He's got an interesting schedule in front of him and he plays them very good team with a lot of things that they can accomplish their offense I've been looking interesting about singletary too because you know we had an As a rookie. Era's a young player to to really meant himself as the guy in the backfield and he conned underwhelmed. They went out and got zack. Moss zack moss. Got hurt. Singletary gets a second chance and he wasn't all that great anti fumbled. the ball. Quite a bit so you know not not a great situation for single terry there. I'm kinda with you though. Fairly like after eight rounds i start looking for my starting quarterback. I haven't been looking at running back in that area right now. As far as zack moss is going. Which by the way is ronald. Jones david johnson. Aj dylan territory as well One last thing on the bills for the rest of the show. I promise you this is it actually. I'm not going to promise you. Because i don't know the chat room now. Maybe we'll get josh allen question or something like that and Manual standards according to is actually more likely than gabriel davis to take the place of smoke brown in the bills offense this year. The scaglia was actually a pretty high in this article. He said a lot of positive things. I would emmanuel sanders even calling him. The most underrated piece to the bills offense brandon beane. Who's currently the gm in buffalo has actually been after manual standards for awhile and signed him to a five point. Nine million dollar deal all the way back in march quote from a scaglia some expect. Gabriel davis to step into john brown's role from last season. All of the bills actions in the offseason were not of a team confident. That davis was ready to step into an enormous role..

"Sports and of course rob for tonight's fantasy flash. Let's go over to connor. Ores report on sports illustrated that said the jaguars may center their offense on the run. Game and twenty twenty one despite drafting trevor lawrence overall. Now this is not without this just speculation. There is some precedent here. Urban meyer obviously ran the football ton at ohio state. The offensive coordinator. In jacksonville darrow. Babble obviously always wanted quote. Or i should say not quote. Hashtag established the run in seattle as the offense coordinator for russell wilson in his rookie year. And this could be a run heavy year for for jacksonville. They use travel ban of a first round. Pick on him. They obviously have james robinson. Brian schottenheimer is actually the passing game coordinator for jaguars. And he loves the run. Trevor lawrence is surrounded by a lot of coaches who will go out of their way to run the football now or also said that this could prevent a quote andrew luck like burnout for trevor lawrence. And you would imagine that if they do run the football lot farrell. You're looking at a pretty good value. On james robinson in fantasy drafts right now. A lotta people wouldn't touch him after the travis bc unpick but shadow to fantasy mojo. Darren armani who helps put together the pros vs joes each and every year for his eighty piece on fantasy. Mo- dot com. You need to sign up for that and registered for that if you are are playing any f. Fcc leaks james robinson farrell running back twenty nine at six twelve. I guess before. I ask you if you think that's a good value there. Are you buying support that the jaguars might be a run heavy team. This season Contributor or from sports illustrated is onto. Something that i felt consistently That this will be the situation with this team. I go back to two last september balking. I'm sitting in the I were at Wherever caesar's caesar's pairs bally's we were everywhere last year. But we're wherever we were we were. We were drafting in the f. Fcc and i'm in the ninth round and is ceedee lamb and it's robinson and which one do i pick and and you know. I looked at the board size of the competition. Thought i could get away with lamb and thought robinson would come back to what great bargain lamb at nine. Can bob anderson. They can So i took my land. Pick robinson lint a twelve v. "And he quietly allowed himself to be surpassed by george washington. It was said that washington and he had a riff Hardly he named his son after. George washington john. George washington handcuffed. This is a man who pledged everything he had and gave everything he had. He went on to be governor of massachusetts twice. his signature is a sign of defiance. "At the house. Just turn on tv. i've changed. How many times stacks playing. It's basic on. Tell me connected to the body all. Yeah you know how it goes. July fourth is the day we celebrate the birth of america. Some families are big birthday families in some really not so much. I find that when you leave the united states. The idea that this is the day you came into the world is really not as big a deal as it is here but i also think that's because the individual doesn't matter as much as he does here. Oh yes we're more narcissistic. Yes we're spoiled. Of course we are but we also believe in the uniqueness of the individual. It's there in our very founding. No individual is greater than another. that's why our founders refused to accept. Titles that's why our first president reviews to be a king. That's why he left after two terms setting such a golden standard for public service in his country. Seems like a bygone era and it is and because of that. I always steep myself in american history particularly our founding on july fourth. So this week. I've gone back into the archives and been reading about some of the founders sam adams and john adams special role. They played doctor. joseph. Warren you heard the interview. We did about him with ned ryan a few days ago and there were the greats benjamin. Franklin thomas jefferson but today i choose to profile john hancock now when i say the name john hancock you might think of a massive insurance company or you may think of the tallest building in boston the john hancock tower or you may think of the john hancock center in chicago which is a beautiful beautiful building and you may have gone all the way up to the top. You may think of the six. Us navy ships that bear his name or a street our county or a city. You may think of john hancock as the guy who put down the big signature and you may sometimes say. Put your john hancock right here. But there's a lot about john hancock. You might not know later in the program. I'm going to read to you the declaration of independence. Maybe you've never read it in its entirety in kind of have a general idea pursuit of happiness and all but i wanna profile john hancock for this reason at the end of the document that declared our independence from the motherland that was basically a declaration of war. You no longer own these colonies. We're no longer subjects of you. The king that was a statement that yeah. We've been battling it out. We've been firing back and forth but we're going full on war and at the end of the document and you probably aware of this. The last line says and for the support of this declaration with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence. We mutually pledge to each other our lives our fortunes and our sacred honor and those men did exactly that you've probably seen the viral email that goes around a couple of times a year from old folks because oh folks appreciate our history more than young folks do but these men did sacrifice their lives their fortunes and in some cases. They're sacred honor. John hancock was the only man who signed the constitution on july fourth. There were others. Who would add their names. But much later he was the only man who signed the con- the the not the custody the declaration of independence because he was the president at the time of the of the organization. If you will that was governing the colonies that document was sent to the printer. John dunlap. but we don't know what else was on that document because it burned it was lost either in the printing process or two fire. There are theories that go both ways but we do know that john. Hancock famously signed that document on that day it would take some time later until other signatures would be added now. You may have seen original because there are copies that are in other in museums and you may say well zora. I recall there being another name on there. There was another name. It was that of charles thompson. He was the secretary of the continental congress. But not a delegate. That's why his signature was attested to he was for all intents and purposes. The witness. the notary if you will. It was john hancocks signature that made his name famous for signatures themselves. I'll just need your john hancock on this contract you might hear. It said you've often heard or hopefully you've heard in the past that john. Hancock said king. George will be able to read that. That's why he signed it so big. His actual statement was the british ministry can read that name without spectacles. Let them double their reward. There was a reward for his head in fact the night that paul revere made his famous ride he came to town and told hancock and adams you are wanted you are wanted by the british and they're coming to take you away we'll never see you again and in fact they fled in just enough time did he. And the famous attorney. John adams to save their lives and go on from lexington to philadelphia avoiding capture to be among our greatest of our founders. You see it was over. A decade between the declaration of independence and our founding bylaws are governing document our constitution which is as relevant to our lives today as it was then written with such foresight. The back to john hancock john. Hancock was what was known as a boston brahmin. He was a wealthy man so when he pledged his that was a big statement. You think you're making a sacrifice speaking out on facebook. This was a very wealthy man who could have continued being very wealthy but he could not stand to live under tyranny. He wasn't opposed to monarchy. In fact he considered one of his greatest. Life's moments back fifteen years earlier in seventeen sixty one. He was in london on a business trip and he witnessed the coronation of king. George the third the same king to whom the declaration of independence which was as you know. A declaration of war would be directed just over a decade later. He thought that was a great moment and it was a great nation and he was honored to be a part of it so to not only separate himself from it but to declare war against it tells you how deeply felt were his emotions. Hancock would later be urged. Run for president against george washington and his name was put into nomination. In those days it was considered poor form. Poor taste to campaign for the office. You should be asked to run for the office by those who respect you. It shouldn't just be a sign of your ambition but he didn't do that. He didn't run for office. The way of biden would or an obama or clinton so desperate to be president the allowed his name to be put into nomination.
