A highlight from Brandon Mintz Interview - Bitcoin Depot ATM Company Goes Public! BlackRock Bitcoin Spot ETF & BTC 4 Year Cycle
"Welcome back to the Thinking Crypto podcast, your home for cryptocurrency news and interviews. With me today is Brandon Mintz, who's the founder and CEO of Bitcoin Depot. Brandon, it's great to have you back on the show. Thanks for having me again, Tony. Yeah, Brandon, a lot's changed since we last spoke. A lot of exciting news on your end as Bitcoin Depot has officially gone public. Can you break that down for us? What was the process, the valuation, all the details there? Yeah, totally. In late summer of 2022, we announced that we would be entering a business combination agreement with a SPAC. And that was our process of going public versus traditional IPO. And SPACs have become a lot more popular since 2020, since the early COVID days. And essentially, there's some back and forth with the SEC. There's a capital raise from investors, which we completed. And then we were at a final point to close on June 30th of last month. And our first day of trading began on the NASDAQ on July 3rd. So not too long ago. Now, that's exciting. So what does this mean for the company? Obviously, I know most folks are familiar with going public and things like that and getting listed. What does it mean for Bitcoin Depot and your plans for growing in the rest of 2023? Well, being a public company is always great in terms of having better access to capital versus privately. It's also a great tool just to be able to give employees incentives by issuing stock grants in the company as well and attracting the best talents that we can possibly attract in the industry and from outside the industry. But most importantly, having that public currency as our stock to be used for potential partnerships and acquisitions can be very valuable as well. And you've probably heard me talk about opportunities in the industry to consolidate the Bitcoin ATM operators. So we think that it could be very valuable for that specific opportunity. And as far as your roadmap for the remainder of 2023, are there any new developments or plans that you can share as far as new services, new tech expansion to different locations and things like that? Yeah, since we started the public process, we've really been focused on organic growth primarily. A lot of big announcements and new product launches can really derail, I guess, in that process. So you'll notice that we have grown quite a bit organically since we announced this process. And Q1 of this year, we had really strong revenue growth and we had record EBITDA. And a lot of that is due to our retailer pipeline. So in 2023, we've already announced about seven new retail partnerships and a couple of the notable ones gave us access to a few hundred stores. So expanding our Bitcoin ATM fleet into large retailers and hopefully some more household names is very important to us and something we plan to continue doing moving forward. Also, last year, we announced our BD checkout products, which allows you to download our app and use our app, the Bitcoin Depot app, to go into one of the major retailers that we have on the platform, scan the QR code provided by the app and insert cash, load it to your accounts and then convert that to Bitcoin, ultimately. And so we have a few thousand locations on that product as well. And we want to continue to expand BD checkout into more and more retailers over time. But one notable thing as well that we did in early 2023, a lot of people may not be aware of this, is we converted all of our roughly 7000 Bitcoin ATMs to our own internal operating software called Bit Access, which generated the company over three million dollars of annualized savings. And now we're vertically integrated. We bought Bit Access around two years ago, and it really just gives us a lot of flexibility to continue to create and develop new products. But outside of all that, those organic opportunities, again, we're looking around for potential acquisition targets. There's nothing concrete in the works yet, but seeing what opportunities exist. Can you tell us a bit about the maybe some of the big name retailers that you're working with? The biggest notable one is Circle K. They have 15 ,000 roughly locations worldwide and around 10 ,000 in the US and Canada. But this year we announced a partnership with GetGo as well. They have a few hundred stores in the northeast and then Jackson's Food Stores has somewhere around over 250 plus stores as well. And are you only supporting Bitcoin right now, or are there maybe some altcoins available like Ethereum, or are there plans to add them? We're only supporting Bitcoin at the moment. There's just a higher risk level these days when supporting these other digital assets. Yeah, and I think I know a lot of folks are waiting for clarity in the industry. There are quite a few crypto bills being proposed by members of the Senate as well as Congress. And we'll see if we get something through this year. I know yesterday was the big news of Ripple winning the lawsuit against the SEC XRP getting that clarity. But the entire market itself doesn't have that clarity yet, but we'll have to wait and see. But speaking of Bitcoin, what are your thoughts on BlackRock filing for a Bitcoin spot ETF? And then that seemed to open the floodgates where every other institutional investor from Wall Street wants to get one as well. What are your thoughts on that? Well, I think it's a great opportunity for the industry and it's an amazing way to allow a lot of capital on the sidelines to come in. Yeah, I've seen the flurry of names filing for ETFs as well. It really just shows that this is a really serious asset class now where the largest institutions in the world want to enter it in a safe way for their investors. And ETFs are one of the safest ways to invest traditionally. And it allows people an opportunity to have access to investing in crypto without necessarily having to worry about holding it themselves in a non -custodial wallet where you got to keep your private keys and passwords secure or trusting a third party exchange with custody as well. And over the past year, we've obviously seen how that has played out with a lot of the exchanges filing for bankruptcy. And just BlackRock alone has tens of trillions of dollars of assets under management, according to some sources I've seen, they're the largest asset manager in the world. So I don't think there is a better announcement to start the summer of 2023 than that. Yeah, it's incredibly bullish and we seem to be entering a new level of Bitcoin adoption and these TradFi players here recognizing this asset, its potential. And to your point of the ETFs, it's going to allow so much capital to flow into the asset, especially like retirement accounts and so forth. Investment advisors can now offer it up to many of their clients. You know, I've spoken to some over the years and they're like, yeah, we can't touch this stuff yet. But an ETF, especially from the likes of BlackRock and Fidelity and so forth, would definitely help usher in a lot more adoption of the asset. Totally. And especially now that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as an asset class is well over a decade old, now you're starting to see we're past that early adopter phase. A little bit. And you're starting to see also some of that older demographic feel comfortable to enter the space. But at the same time, you know, it's still difficult to decide where to go between an exchange or a non -custodial wallet. And I know plenty of wealthy people in that baby boomer demographic that still own no crypto. They have plenty of money to do so, but they just have not had a trusted advisor like BlackRock or some other similar firm tell them that here is the safe place to go. Yeah, for sure. So obviously on that news of BlackRock entering the market, Bitcoin and the rest of the crypto market has been rallying Bitcoin, I think currently over like 31K right now. You know, what are your thoughts in the halving is coming up next year? Do you see the four year cycles playing out again where maybe we see a new all time high in 2025? Personally, I'm still a big believer in the four year cycle and the upcoming halving sometime in the spring of 2024. And just the data from the past shows the time leading up to the beginning of that next halving has been pretty bullish. So I think with all of these announcements and, you know, just that whole SEC ripple lawsuit providing a little bit more clarity to people, it seems like. That combined with the upcoming halving could spur a lot of bulls coming into the space. Yeah, it's exciting times. We'll see what happens. You know, the macroeconomic picture is still not great, you know, with the Fed still tightening. Yes, they pause the rate hikes, but they may raise again. I don't think they're back to full QE yet, even though they're doing some backdoor type things with these bank bailouts or bail -ins. So it's to be seen. But yeah, I'm excited for the halving next year and to see what the next cycle brings. I know we kind of talked about it in our last interview, kind of the logistics of how folks can use Bitcoin Depot. But as a refresher, maybe you can give us a quick overview of, you know, let's say folks want to use Bitcoin Depot at one of the retail stores you mentioned. Right. Maybe it's one there's one in their town. What would be the steps to do that? Well, there are a few different options. One option that people probably are not aware of at all is on our website, you can actually use a debit card as well. So it's not only cash flow or businesses primarily cash based. That is one option. So you don't have to physically go anywhere. And that is also something we plan to integrate into our app at some point. But besides that, our core business always has been Bitcoin ATMs. So you can download the Bitcoin Depot wallet app or any wallet of your choice for our BTMs, which is what we call them. But it's also our ticker symbol on the NASDAQ. You can use any wallet. It's completely wallet agnostic. And once you've done that, you go up to one of our machines, you're going to type in your phone number, as well as some additional identifying information, because we do have KYC requirements in place. Then you're going to provide your wallet address by scanning your QR code from the wallet of your choice, insert cash and the Bitcoin will be sent to your wallet shortly. And also within our app, and you do have to use our app for this one, is the BD checkout product I mentioned a few minutes ago that launched last year, where you just place an order for the retail location of your choice. And we actually show all of our locations, whether it's BTMs or BD checkout locations within our app. After you choose the retailer you want to go to, you select the amount you would like to buy. And since we're using our wallet, the system already knows where the Bitcoin is going. It's going to BD, sorry, your Bitcoin depot wallet. And then you get a barcode to scan at the retailer, just like a barcode, like a prepaid card. And then you hand over cash to the cashier, the wallet gets loaded with cash and you convert that to Bitcoin. So all of these options, depending on how quick you are and how much cash you're inserting or handing over, it can take as little as a minute. That's awesome. And I know we talked about it in the last interview, but yeah, this is just a great on ramp for folks to get into the asset class because, you know, there are folks who look and not everybody's going to use Coinbase, not everybody's going to use these different options. And it's so great that there are different options for different folks and different demographics in different regions of the country and the world. So good stuff, man. Appreciate your time, Brandon. Congrats again on going public and, you know, we definitely want to have you back on as things progress on your end. Well, thanks so much, Tony, for having me. Always free whenever you want to catch up and we'll see what happens here in this next cycle.

speaking of history uh did you know uh how old is in the city of naples it's coming up on a hundred right yeah that's correct so we're gonna be talking about it as well and before we're gonna start celebrated for certain different things uh do you know what uh today no i have no idea what is national date of something no i'm sure so your favorite food well eat your beans day beans oh yeah i'm not really a big bean fan well yeah that's exactly what i'm aiming for otherwise well i might eat some barbecued beans with uh you know ribs or some kind of so there's also international international drop a rock day you know what that means drop a rock yeah where do you no i don't once you know when sometimes you worry when you're worried and uh you know you just somebody says oh my god it's just "Hello all divine people, it's Monday, we are starting this week again with this wonderful episode that is episode 376 on July 3rd 2023 and as I said it's Monday beautiful weather we are doing this in a little bit in later in evening and it's still 85 degree outside behind this mic is Rich and behind this mic is Matt what's going on here hey I came to the studio for the people that cannot watch us and they're just listening and we have candles lit here I feel like in a cemetery a cemetery either that or you're I don't know it's you know it's a nice little environment it's this some kind of message I don't know what did you do with lighting three candles here I don't know it does have a distinct smell I mean it looks like three different flavors or scents but I better just mix them in my nose than anything else which comes sometime out of different uh areas I don't know are you trying to like be romantic or something yeah well let's just say we're just creating an environment let's just say we lit the candles for people that cannot be here with us right okay yeah well just you know people three people you think of three people right I think three people how we can share how does it have to be three because we have three candles okay you can count right yeah sometime yeah sometime I'm not the best mathematician I'm more of a macro type guy yeah yeah I look at the big picture yeah how big I'm not a number cruncher although numbers numbers are important especially in business that's correct and how many croissants do you see I see two I can I have two hands so I can at least count to ten and how many people do you see here uh two okay so make sure you understand keep that in mind that not two croissants is for one person that you two two croissants two people and three candles it's like that's perfect yeah so we can start now yeah yeah go ahead so we we have a croissant we have coffee from the coffee and wine bar that we're operating next door right a wonderful croissant uh with uh what is this colombian powder uh no that's powdered sugar just looks like columbia our peruvian plate now it's not that it makes you feel sense put some wrong messages no there is no wrong messages no that's not good for the community we're just gonna enjoy one of our flaky croissants which is which uh you know I'm tired of looking at it so I'm gonna go ahead and give it a shot go ahead do it and I just what's what's in it uh nothing this croissant oh what would you like powdered sugar there's something in it whatever grandma put in I don't know there's a lot of different croissant dessert croissants on the menu at divine naples coffee and wine bar that is correct you have to check it out I'd suggest going to the website kind of perusing and taking a look at the menu no I would actually invite people right here you know that they should come here and check out the menu or they can go to our delivery service we deliver to the beach and there's beachesos .com and we can bring those croissants and plus you know some other items which we have 250 items listed on that website which we deliver to the beach if it's Advil if you party too much or if you need a baby wipes or sunscreen or you know a mosquito mosquito spray or whatever 75 different sandwiches desserts drinks alcohol wine beer you name it we have it we bring it to you and one of the wonderful things is anybody that's ever come and uh you know visited our beaches here and all the different accesses you kind of come to find out that parking can be quite difficult and once you get your space you're not going to want to leave it so you never know you leave you may have forgot something or an item or you just plan to have you know lunch and and would like it delivered uh well we offer that service and we can get access to uh every single beach access here in Naples yeah we like to say this service is designed for men for husbands because usually they pack uh everything in the car and uh I would say they're not perfect everybody knows that so you know we are here for every guy that goes with the family or alone or every date to the beach you mean that guy that forgot something that's ever a guy okay yeah that's yeah that's every guy because you know we know but I think the most important thing is is I mean it's known parking is very difficult down here and once you if you come to spend the entire day at the beach uh you're definitely not gonna want to leave your parking spot you know I just uh yeah that's right but I want to go back to that subject which is still kind of sitting in my mind you know uh we we are like a man like a human being we are perfect until one moment you know which one is it no I don't why don't you school me master yeah when you get married oh yeah then that's not perfect anymore yeah but you know it's interesting that you bring that up because not everybody's married but within the context of a marriage there is community because that you become one and sometimes you're right there's going to be communication problems and and different things and in a struggle for you know who's control but you know in the the outcome should be that you work together and and I I tie that in right now I just want to tie it into building community anywhere and uh and we're trying to build here through divine naples .com a community through all out throughout all of southwest Florida and it really begins uh in in the home or whatever but we really want to build community with business here and to build a network and and to build a thriving community where everybody is is is being blessed yeah and the idea is to bring the community together with the customers if that's a business or not a business owners and get them together to exchange customers and just build this community of the businesses together uh supported by local people yeah we are all about local people because we know how important it is to you know support local businesses and we always say that please buy something from locals when you come to the town you know just search a little bit forget about the big corporations if you find a little local store they're always going to get extra you're always going to get more and I like that too is because well you know corporations play a big part yes we know that but a community is only as strong as so we just come here in support and so that's why we we're going to be asking different uh business owners to come in and do an interview here on divine podcast pine naples podcast to be able to just share um their vision the reason why they got into business what their passion is and uh and to be able to expose you know the community to their services and what they have to offer and so again I know we were just joking in the very beginning we got two croissants two people three

"Gun violence. As it is, which is really a public health emergency. This is a national problem. I get it. But Somebody has to step up and somebody has to address it in the place that should step up and address. It is the state of New York and we should do it comprehensively and honestly in creative and that's what today is all about, because this is the state. When it sees an injustice. We don't look the other way we stand up and we fight it and that's what we're going to do with gun violence. This is the state where criminals are allowed to run free every day. Commit crimes, some heinous And they're allowed to go enjoy the sunshine. That's what this state is. I can't wait to talk to lease Elden coming up in about five minutes. Cuomo's comments yesterday. So what the governor is right Crime is an issue, although he does everything he can to make sure it remains an issue. That's my issue with Andrew Cuomo while he's right about that, the mayor The current mayor, Bill de Blasio, who's on his way out. Thank God will have Eric Adams versus Kurdish. We will come November, the mayor. He's saying. Whoa! Hold on a second. It's not that bad. Comparing June 2021 to June 2020 shootings down almost 20%. Number of victims down over 26% murders down 23%. Overall crime year to date slightly down. So we see the beginning of something better. And this police Commissioner Dermot Shea with an opportunity to hop on the wild things are bad or the de Blasio. Things aren't all that bad side elected to go with. The mayor. And when you look at the three days July 3rd, 4th and 5th shooting incidents in New York City compared to last year last year, we had 45 shooting incidents obviously way too many. We cut that down to 24 more work to do, But we're committed where we're on it with our partners in the criminal justice system and better times ahead. Brutal weekend.

Uh, as you know, I tend to hang up on people by the way today. I'm keeping people way way too long. I had no idea why I'm so patient. Maybe I'm running a temperature I have figured out, but here's what happens. Yes. Uh, I'll hang up because I just can't take it anymore. And no patients or you're completely crazy. Uh, and we've gone through your crazy stuff already. And then inevitably, uh, these folks will call back and say I was cut off accidentally. No, no, no. Bill hung up on you. Do you get it? And that's what, uh Screener. Uh, Morgan does and I was just yelling it Morgan saying you're You're way too nice. Come on. You know, saying, you know, you gotta say, Hey, you're a fruit loop. Uh, and keep your fruit loopiness too. You know, within reason. All right, back we go. Uh oh, yeah, some really good ones here. Uh and, uh, Uh, Mary. Hi, Mary. Hi. How are you? Yes, ma'am. What can I do for you? Well, okay. Hang on a minute. Are you are you are you on a speakerphone? I'm on Bluetooth. Um, I'm driving. Yeah. God, I hate that. Okay, I I get it. All right. So let's try it. Um All right, go ahead. So I was married. Um, for 10 years. Okay. So back in, 90 said we got divorced. Well, both the houses. He got both houses. We bought him during the marriage and I don't understand that I I fired my first I got a second lawyer anyway, now and then I'm thinking about. I never signed the quit claim some clerk in the court did that signed my house the way I never signed anything. So I was wondering, and it's been a long time. But I'll get my really I'm thinking about to get more and more men do anything about that. Yeah, I don't blame you. First of all, the court can order a transfer of title without someone signing a quick claim deed during the course during the course of a divorce litigation Because you have people say I just won't sign. So, um, yeah, Yeah. We're a little bit into this. I just found out he fries than all those papers. I just found it out, So it's not like I. I have the real one that I'm like, Apparently. Alright. Okay. Okay. Here's what I want you to go see a family law attorney. I think your past the statute. There may be an issue when you discover fraud, and I don't know the answer to that. But, yeah, it's definitely time to see a family law attorney just to see where you sit on that and you go to handle on the law dot com. And that is, um where I would go is, uh, pretty good attorneys there, James. Hello, James. Welcome. What can I do for you? Yes. My name is James. Yes, it is diagnosed. I have a question regarding if I have a lawsuit against my credit union, Okay, now, what happened? Okay. What happened was about about 13 years ago. I am married. I'm writing checks out and my bills are being paid. But all of a sudden, I've noticed that I have all this money in my account, and I'm writing checks that so I called the company's I'm writing checks to and they say Yes, they've been paid. So I call the credit union. I find out that their through a deep investigation. They're taking their writing checks off somebody else's account. And so I was like, Oh, my gosh. So now what happens so they figured it all out and and everything is back on track. Now, about Six years ago, All of a sudden, the same credit union UN divorced. I'm divorced now, but the same credit union all of sudden, I noticed when I get my statement, there's two almost over $2000 gone in my account, and so I'm going. Okay. Where did this 2000 go? And they asked me if I know this person where I say No, I don't know this person. So I go inside there. To tell them. I don't know this person and then they come out, okay, We're going to take care of it and the lady who walked away, she said. She made a mistake and she looked at me. She put her finger to nose and said, Please don't tell anyone. Okay, so that was then. And that made me a little thing. I got my money back that that's still starting to make me apprehensive. Now, about two years ago, I'm divorced. I'm the only one getting my statements with my name and all of a sudden Get a statement, and my ex wife is put back on the account for some strange reason. James, let me ask you quite let it hang on a minute. Third time out what you're still doing with that credit union. Okay. Why aren't you out? Why aren't you just out of that credit? Why didn't you? Why didn't you leave the first time out? I mean, you know, Are you a masochist? No. I mean is that your sex thing? You get beat up. All right, So you're white. So your wife is now on the account. Did she take any money out? No, I didn't even tell her she didn't even know..

"Handle here on a Saturday morning, July 3rd tomorrow. Of course. Independence Day odds. This is handle on the law. Marginal legal advice, Jeff. Your turn. What can I do for you? Well, Good morning, Bill. I'm really glad to speak to you. I'm calling Yes, you are in New Mexico. Okay? And it's because I'm in Roswell that you may not be able to give me much advice, but I hope you can Because I'm I've been 14 months. To every attorney in Roswell, New Mexico, and the best thing they can say is Oh, I'm sorry. We can't do anything against the police. Good luck. Goodbye. And that's virtually what they say. Then they take you to the front door and leave you outside. Okay. Well, I was involved in a situation come to July 5th. It was June 5th of this incident occurred. I live in a mobile home park. I am a very respectable person. If I were to give you a pair, elation of who you're talking to your talking to Little Theodore Cleaver too. That's how I was raised all my life and I'm the same way I'm a recluse on midnight, right next door to a big mouth bitch Who's a rich bitch and she's got a friend in the office that runs this place. And together she and her in tandem, run every single irritation and aggression against what they can to try to get me evicted. Now we live in this place. It's got a list of on infractions that are like the concentration camp. Well, you wouldn't believe that illegal paper cup out on your patio. You're evicted. You raise the hood on your car. Your addiction You leave belief out on your front lawn. You're evicted. Well, I can't. I can't do that. Neither can on June 5th. As I said, One of the things you can't do here is washed your car in the driveway or in the street. Certainly not in the street. I came home at 11 20. In the morning. Last June, 5th and I saw this witch outside washing her car in the street. What did I do? I took out my cell phone camera, and I took a picture of her doing it because I understand that picture bite email to the owner who is in Chicago. That's where he lives. And he's invisible. By the way, he's got no business address, no phone number, no name and no anything. So how are you going? How are you going to send it to him? Was going to get my friend to email it to him. But I was going to happen. But if you don't, But if you don't have an email, you don't have an address. How How are you going to do that? She gave me a phony address. Okay, so you can't all right. So you now have no access to him. And you want to send him an email to an address You don't have. I'm still a little confused. So let me ask you this. I mean, we're going for a long time. What's your question here? Okay. Well, to make a long story short, the police finally got here because she attacked me. I had danced around her to keep her from attacking that one of the neighbors to see it was her attacking me. Not the other way around. Anyway. Three of them got out here. Three police when Russell police Department by the way, if there's any raw possible If there's any police department needs to be defunded as Carasso Police can't believe how many. Jeff we're going a little bit. We're going a little long here. So, uh, They defamed me. They this cop. He did nothing. I'm the victim and he ran off saying things like, Oh, you poor, which next door? He's talking to her. He's saying he's obviously got mental issues. Okay. What's Jeff? What's so what's your question? So what is there a statute of limitations on which I can sue this this dirty? All right, hold on a minute. What? Of course serious. But if it happened a month ago, you don't have to worry about the statute. But more importantly, who are gonna sue. Well, the possible police department for not for what for? Not for not believing you. For not believing you and deciding not to arrest your neighbor. Is that what you're going to sue for the point? This dirty cop? Absolutely did believe me. I could see it in his eyes. And I swear that it's been a pleasure talking to you. Truly, Uh, let's move on. Didn't know where that was going to go. But what the hell? Uh, Dave. Hi, Dave. Welcome. Oh, Bill. Hello? Yes. All right? Yeah, I got a question. Um, and the recipient of my aunt chose will. Okay. And okay, we think we've drifted out of church things like around 2012. She would be about 102 now. All right now she's in Arizona. I came to Los Angeles. Obviously, uh, would shoes in a retirement home? She moved to a cap facility returning home and help me. Okay. Alright, So okay. You can't you? So you're saying you can't find her correct. First try to find out if she still all right. Okay. And why is that If you have a copy of a will, Okay, you do have a copy of the will. I've never scenic that I had talked to her. That doesn't work now, Dave. That doesn't fly without a copy of the Will. Your There's nothing there. What can I do that if there is no Will, Dave, it doesn't matter if she's alive. She's not alive. You can't say I talked to her and she made on will Back in 1980 Sorry I'm having I'm having a hard time she what will what? What happened in 85? 1985. My uncle John died without a will. She got everything right. Right because of intestine. See? All right, So let me ask you this. I your are your relationship is your grandmother, right? Is that who you're talking about? Is my hand? Yeah, that she have Children. No. All right. Are you the closest living relative? Yes. All right. So you got you have to talk to you. Here's what you have to do. How much money do you think she has? Or did have half a million in all right. You want to go to a trust and estate lawyer? Because I don't know, Uh, there's ways for them to track people down. Uh, you might be able to open a probate, uh, but the court's going to act be zealous and making sure that number one she's dead. There is no will. No one can come forward. That's why you don't have a will with some lawyers somewhere. How do you know? Because she told me when my mother told me the first thing she okay, so fine Here it is. So here's what I want you to do Go on the Internet. And look at here's the search word. Some lawyer That's a good place to start, isn't it? That's where you find lawyers, a specific one who wrote a will in 1985. Joshua Hello, Joshua Europe. Hello? Yes, Ideal for you. Yes, sir. Bill. I'm Ellen rolled out commercial real estate. Okay? I had a pendant before Covid. And he didn't pay grants for over a year. And, uh, we had lawyers come in and sue them. And finally that the sheriff to lock him out, Okay? Okay, So after that it's been a year and a half now, Uh, now the space is full of he's garbage that he left behind. Okay. Is it just garbage or is it equipment? Uh, it's uh It's a lot of valuable to also okay, so there's valuables. Okay? Alright. Yes is legally I'm okay to sell this. I don't know There's a time there. I mean, yes, you're allowed to do it, But the rules are pretty specific. Joshua, You have to find those out because what the law normally says you have to store. Those, uh, ended after a certain amount of time you can sell it. And you can sell it for storage and you have to find him. So, uh, the rules you have to follow the rules because if not, you're nailed on this one. And one of the things you have to do is make a real concerted effort to find him. Do you have any idea where he is? Joshua? We have We have to try to find. Wait a second. I want to talk to I want to talk to one person. Do you have any idea where this person is? Right? Yeah, we have tried to find him. But He's he's not available. Okay, So you all right? So here's what happens over two years now, all right, And I mean, that helps you but here's what you do is make every effort to find him. Uh And and I mean, every effort, maybe by publication, because I don't know the rules. You have to find out the rules and depending on where you live I and you may want to talk to a landlord tenant. Downtown Looks okay. You may want to talk to a landlord tenant attorney..

"Author of Covert 19 Lockdowns on trial. Which came out July 3rd of this past year and was updated November. 18th is that because Michael You learn something new in between July and November 18th or did more things happen? That simply confirmed what you already believed. I'd say both happened when I When I initially wrote the book. In. What triggered me was that we were we were actually flat to below average in all caused us a time that we were going through the early lockdowns, and I started the book in early August. And and we have a shift right over the summer. I mean things really, I don't want to say blew up, but they accelerated and so what I uncovered in continuing that research. Is that access to screw, but they they grew disproportionate, even the covert dust and so what we've got now is a situation where As we're approaching 400,000 covert 19 deaths Officially, probably 250,000 of those are real doubts from Cove it and that's a real number. I'm no covert. Deny her. I lost the family member in a care facility to it. But we've also got a number in over 100,000 deaths that we can attribute traced back to the lockdown themselves. And so really what the whole analysis is about and my charter on this is you know it are the lockdown in these mitigation tactics. Proportionate response is that answer is and you know and unequivocal Now he's just proportionate response is And how would we know if they're proportion or disproportionate? What's the calculation? What's the threshold? Well, I think some of it might be a little bit on gut right because there's no standard that's been set. This is all new to us. And so for my purposes, we've got a situation with covert 19 around the world where the median age of death Is horrors right around life expectancy everywhere in the world. So what we know from this is that If you're healthy. And under 65. You're very low risk if you're healthy and under 50 Europe almost no risk. And if you're healthy and under, you know, 35, you're it's statistically zero risk. And so what we have is we've we've done this one size fits all. Lockdown rather than surgically attack the thing to try to mitigate it. And so the reason we know that these lockdowns don't really work. Is when you look at open states like South Dakota in Florida. They're hovering right around the U. S average in access dust. If lockdowns work and face mouth and all those things work, those states should be blowing up compared to their geographic neighbors like I think it's unfair to compare Florida too. In New York and New Jersey. Those were sort of anomalies of when they head and there's lots of reasons that they had. If they really blew up. It's not just Cove it but the health care treatments at the time. Rush. It was it was it was a cluster. But when you look at Florida compared all the southeastern states South Dakota Compared to all of its neighbors. The curves are identical. The timing as identical and the access stuff numbers are almost identical, and s so it just doesn't justify it if lockdowns and all these mitigation tactics work. Those states should be far far. Um, being outperformed by the ones that are that are locking everybody down. And when you use the term excess deaths explain that. Sure. So we took the CDC records. They've got a bunch Mark. Ah, five year average of death. Indifferent all different categories by state by age group, etcetera. And when you look at, uh When you look at where the United States says, where 13% above average and dust since the pandemic started, so that's real, and that is significant. And that has prompted by Cove, it Ah! And so when you compare the access death numbers to the actual cove in 19 numbers, there's two parts to this one. You gotta hire excess stuff number. Then you get real code 19 deaths, so we know that there's a balance of those. That we can trace back to the lockdown. So there's things that are not Kobe caused that have excess deaths this year. That's real. And the other point on this is that when when you look at the muddy data associated with covert 19 dust because we include probables, and we include people that died with the virus. But not necessarily from it. You're getting you're gonna hire counts again. That doesn't diminish the covert 19. It's real. But there's really no question. I mean, Dr Burke said this, Dr Redfield from the CDC has said this And kind of anybody following the data knows that we've got overstated death on so The really true benchmark to see how covert 19 and lockdowns are impacting us is to look at access stuff. And so if we're 13% above average as a country And again, the open states or more risk less restrict restricted states are doing about the same as the lockdown states. It doesn't really make any sense, right? And so it's a great sort of control group. In terms of this little scientific experiments show that lockdowns just don't mitigate. Which I have argued for years is one of the beauties of our country is you have 50 different laboratories to try different public policies. That's the beauty of federalism. Let's try higher taxes in one state and lower taxes in another. Let's try different approaches to homelessness in all 50 states and see what seems to be working, But Michael as we go about trying to recognize the number of quote unquote excess deaths. That assumes that we can't even trust the data and you made the point. There's a difference between dying with covert and dying because of Cove it if you die in a motorcycle accident, but happened to test positive for covert Has happened in in Florida, and they put the cause of death as cove in hell. George Floyd had Cove it, It turns out upon his death, they could have ruled out a covert case, and they would of Had it suited the narrative and not been watched by the whole nation that needed him to.

'Patriotic Education': Trump Says He Will Start New Commission
"All things considered. I'm Elsa Chang and I'm Sasha Pfeiffer. President Trump waded into the classroom today. He says he thinks American students need to be taught what he calls patriotic education, and he accused his political opponents of trying to brainwash Children about racism. Must clear away the twisted Web of lies in our schools, classrooms and teach your Children the magnificent truth. About our country. We want our sons and daughters to know that they are the citizens of the most exceptional nation. In the history of the world. It's the latest development in the cultural divisions. Trump is trying to promote as part of his reelection campaign. White House correspondent Tamara Keith joins me now to talk about this item. Hello. And the president says he's going to create a new commission about this. Can you working? Tell us about that commission? Yes. So he went to the National Archives to announce that he is creating a commission to promote history education that focuses on quote the legacy of 17 76. Of course, that is the year when American colonies declared their independence from Great Britain, and this is a reaction in part against the 16 19 project. President Trump made it explicit. He said that That was the project led by the New York Times that focuses on a view of American history stemming from the year when the first enslaved Africans were brought to these shores. But it's also a reaction to the protest that we've seen this year against racial injustice. One thing about the commission to be clear about, though the federal government does not have jurisdiction over school curriculum, so it is up to schools and local and state governments to decide what to teach. And they do and they teach very different things depending on where you are. This isn't the first time the president has talked about these themes. Would you put in context? Put this in context for us politically? Yes. Oh, he's wrapping a few things together here. People on the right have long complained about the liberal bent on college campuses. That is not new. But there has been a growing effort by educators at all levels, even in elementary schools to teach Children about systemic racism. Slavery as a founding sin of the nation. The genocide of Native Americans as part of westward expansion, and President Trump objects to that strongly, saying schools are teaching Children to hate America. Our Children are instructed from propaganda tracks. Like those of Howard's in Try to make students ashamed of their own history. The left has warped, distorted and to file The American story. With deceptions, fall suits and lives. This also comes in the midst of the racial justice protests where some protesters tour down or vandalize statues of Confederate generals and founding fathers who owned slaves, and Trump has come to the defense of these statues, making them a cause of sorts as part of his re election. There is often a reason or an impetus for why Trump will say things that he knows will be provocative. Is there Do we know what he's talking about this now? Well, he's been talking about it for a little while. It's it's clear. This is part of his re election. This is a variation on themes that he talked about it during speeches and at Mount Rushmore on July 3rd the White House on July 4th. It's a theme he has been coming back to to fire up his base, sort of a variation on make America great again, harkening back to a different time. A different America. He is presenting himself as a great defender of American values and and even Western civilisation, as if to say that people who don't agree with his view of history or of what makes America great. That they are just wrong, but fundamentally trying to destroy the country. It is a very different reelection message than those used by past presidents. It's not about uplift or unifying. It's a long way. From morning in America and as if it wasn't clear already that this is part of his reelection campaign. As part of his remarks, President Trump took a very unsettle shot at Joe Biden holding up a statue of a a notable Delaware founding father and saying that when his statue was taken down by the city of Wilmington, Biden didn't speak out. That's white House correspondent. Tamara Keith. Thank you to him. You're welcome. For

Probably the only reason that this race isn't later in the card is that it's a five Horsfield and Franks? Rakhat is three to five on the morning line, and she may be the the loan speed in race, so she's going to be tough to beat at three to five, but that's a pretty short price, considering there some pretty good up and coming phillies near now I think number four center. I'll I'm going to give her another shot for. For Chad Brown and Joel Rosario Sheila Great Getting Her Maiden Win Gulfstream Park, when bet down to three to five at the end of March then came back in a tough allowance race at Churchill downs where she was really over bet, she was three to five that day against another very impressive maiden winner of this one for Steve Asmussen in casual casual ran a great race that day center I'll had all sorts of problems.
