Julio Rosas Describes Low Morale Among Customs and Border Control Officials

"Can I ask you a Julio you talked about the rosters? Two guys three guys actually doing border patrol everybody else is running the detention facilities. Do you have any sense of what morale is like what's the status of the individuals who, you know, their federal agents, they've got a badge, they've got a gun, and they swore a year ago, 5 years ago, ten years ago to uphold the sovereignty of the United States. After 11 months of Biden, how's the CBP doing? They're very frustrated. And that's why I have agents talking to me because obviously the public affair office doesn't really sniff around. I'm not a big fan of mine. But they're frustrated because they saw this is what they're telling me. They saw what happened during the Trump years. And the board has been a problem for a very long time, but at least it was making progress in a good way for the past for the four years under president Trump. And so they saw what could be. And now there are ten steps backwards and there's no sign of it letting

Who Is Marine and Journalist Julio Rosas?

"It's an individual who's been on the show before he is a dying breed. Not because he's a marine, but because he's a real journalist. Welcome to America first one on one hula rosas. Yeah, thank you for having me, doctor Burke. All right, so what we like to do at the beginning for those who may not be familiar with our new guests, although we've had the likes of president Trump at Al on the show, is there a little bit of an introduction? So for our millions of lists across the country, who is Julio, what's his background and how did he get to be a journalist and investigative reporter that town hall dot com? So I recently completed serving in the Marine Corps reserves. I got out in this man the active side of the reserves. But I dropped out of college actually after president Trump won in 2016 to become a journalist because I thought, well, the campaign was crazy. People's reaction to the campaign was crazy and now that he's won. It's even crazier. So this is kind of the moment to kind of get in while I can go without a degree. So what were you studying? What were you planning to study and what were your politics back then? So I knew I did want to go to D.C. and I did know that I wanted to get involved in politics. It's not exactly sure, but then I realized I really like writing. So I knew I wanted to get into media, but I was studying business administration just because I think it's a waste of time and money to get a degree in journalism. A young man. But no, but by then for sure I was definitely a conservative by then. And I was for a long time and actually I was the only political one active political one of my family. My family was never really involved in politics, although I can say that's changed. My mom she moved to California a couple years ago in Los Angeles County. And from where? I'm from Illinois. And what happened when she moved to California? So she was by no means a liberal, but she's let's just say she's against Newsom in the recall. Unfortunately, obviously it didn't work out so well. But she is actually moving away. That's what we're spending our last Christmas in Los Angeles because she's moving to Florida.

Prosecution in Rittenhouse Case Couldn’t Be Trying Any Harder to Reach Acquittal

"I keep thinking about Jonathan turley's analysis of this prosecutor at the rittenhouse case. And I wonder if he's on to something. You think the guy is like a plant? For Kyle? I mean, you're going to call rioters heroes? You're going to call looters heroes. People assaulting cops, heroes, here was town hall, senior writer, Julio rosas. He does great work. We try to get this kid on a few weeks ago, but he was traveling. Or maybe I have interviewed him. He's really good. And he goes to a lot of these scenes where these so called peaceful protests are underway. Here is what Julio told Tucker Carlson last night on Fox News. I mean, Tucker, I'm not going to lie to you. I got pretty heated because I mean, yeah, I was out there that night. And to call this mob of rioters, heroes is just an absolute lie. I mean, think about it. Being a call this mob heroes when they were attacking the place where he works at. I mean, this just shows how ridiculous this trial has gotten. And I think it just highlights the fact that they never had a strong case to begin with, but they have to throw everything that they can. To try to save what case they have because throughout this entire trial, their own witnesses, their own supposed video evidence. Only served to bolster rittenhouse's claim to self defense. And as someone who was there that night, it's just very, very aggravating to just see someone lie to the jury in hopes to try to save what his save his case and potentially his career. We'll see what happens. Again, keep praying for Kenosha, pray for that part of the country pray for the world pray for the

The End of DACA?

"So if you're someone who is a dreamer right now who does not have daca. You can have daca right. Is that correct. Yeah i think like in the most basic of census right like that is probably the interpretation that most folks are walking away. And if you know you're an outsider. Meaning that you don't have or you're trying to essentially figure something out that might just be the simplest way to look at it but for the people who are in the process of applying for dhaka for the first time right they are seeing a lot of very specific questions that have quite just been answered right. Judge heynen though federal judge in the southern district of texas who has been essentially overseeing a variety of different cases on this subject as made no secret that he's not a fan of the daca program so people need to understand that first and foremost number two his ruling basically states that new applicants as you mentioned julio people who are in the process of applying for dhaka for the first time short of them being fully approved into the program will no longer be eligible for the program. What exactly does that mean. May the young daca applicant. Who says well. I sent in my application. It was received. I gotta biometrics appointment. This is where they go and take your finger branson that take a photo and all this jazz. You know i did dad. I haven't heard back from you. If my application going to be considered is gonna be frozen. It's going to be thrown away and that's kind of where we are at earlier this week. We saw that. Uscis basically said in a statement. You know we acknowledge that this is happening. Where abiding by the court order. There will be more guidelines following up. So i i actually have it up on my phone because i tweeted out and it's interesting because let me just break this down because it says i'm rita and this came out on july nineteenth and i'm glad you brought it up because i was kind of like my next question but let's let's give the people some context. This is the giving people some context portion of the show so basically they say you know based on the order issued by the us district court for the southern district of texas and texas. "The nfl seize this opportunity and says we can utilize london. We can utilize berlin munich germany. We're gonna come back to my city. Toronto they certainly are gonna come back. the buffalo bills played here. A bunch of years in the two thousand ten two thousand eleven era bills weren't a big draw. They weren't very good that much bigger now with how good they are so look. It was probably time to get back to germany. And i'm glad that they are. You know. I remember talking to about this about international series. We've many times. We talked about that but about the international series and often actually when i would be doing acuna with him on a show like they saw ratio. Whatever when fans from around the uk would understand. Be say why is always wondered. Why comedy a game in manchester in glasgow wore this focus on london and the answer was very reasonable. Rational which was initially we had to create We have to sell the idea. I mean if you look at the chronology in the progression of the international series the role of the dice to do one and there was meant to be A gap of a number of years before the uk got another but stars aligned and they go given a second game in two thousand and eight and everything row. They wanted to drive field in two thousand eight. I think let's see this when there isn't when there isn't a pounding rain for thirty eight hours before the game and it worked with the san diego new orleans the next year we gotta drive field in the second year. Finally drew brees wins. Most of the time i think With respect to the great the and and this was that it was a gamble. What was it going to be like. We know that. Nfl organizations any kind of destruction. They hate any kind of break. From routine they hate any kind of deviation for they used to they know and this was the hard sell with an international gang war. The hell is going to do to my season traveling across the world. What's it gonna be like. Am i gonna have the proper practice facilities all these different questions and gradually steadily as normal teams came over and was good and of course it helped with the giants winning the whole thing having come up with the first year which shot that argument Completely down that it would totally disrupt derailing season quite the opposite as far as their. Because then you talked to overseeing the guys as well the The togetherness that came out with that trip was seminal in that success they say so gradually steadily more and more and the big stakeholders in that room as well team owners. That binding when you get croft when you get jerry jones l. Everyone else in that room tends to follow at least It's a it's a roll along with it. If they had reservations they button their lips. But this is a big significant change because the process. And whether it's at twickenham whether it's at spurs whether it's a wembley it's always in london right this is i think a fair and logical movies. You say because the german fan base is brilliant and they deserve a game. But if i'm if i'm in glasgow. I'm not wild about this news and maybe this will change. Maybe that that is what will happen. That will see an evolution of development of the game's over here outside of london. I think commercially. That would be a challenge with the spurs stadium. And with the wembley deal right. So i get it but at the same time. Understand if i'm this show right now in other parts of the country. What's going on here. So would you say if i said that to you. Because they've mostly been in la they've all been on. Yeah three different venues right. We're talking now. I stadium twickenham. And wembley if i said to you not to Because you'll help me out with this as i said. There's two games in london. There's one in manchester and there's one in birmingham are. They still is still the same demand or do we see empty. Seats is some of the idea of of because then you. You can't get the people coming from other countries as easily can you. You're not going to get. I would say you can rent a car like its london is obviously you can get in there. Just yeah you could flight. I hear and yes probably at london is easiest in terms of that central gateway and access but i think most european countries have. That's what we're talking about. I don't know that a lot fans come from the states as well. But most european countries have flight directly to manage certainly birmingham a. I don't think it would be. There would be as she said in those setting those games out a chill. Because i think you might what you might lose in terms of ease of access for certain parts of of the fan base internationally you would gain from improving access obviously for those those further up north so i think ultimately they deserve it by understand historic weather of being challenges and limitations to white different countries all holding different cities rather on holding games. But i gotta say if i would look at that right now would frustrate me write a couple of things in the mail bag things from the mailbox a couple of questions from the mail bag or we'll get out of dodge. His offer colin smith incidentally at the show facebook instagram and twitter colin. Who is the most underrated team in the nfl. Greg brady underrated team that we're looking at right. Now that i think is oh this would be somebody. I think is going to take a leap up. Tricky right like dallas chicago. Dallas was six and ten with no dak prescott so i think they're odds on favorite to win the nfc think they're underrated just given where that particular were that particular was. I'm gonna go with the chargers. I because i think we think kansas city is just a just a monolith in that division. They're going to win the west for year after year after year and they probably are. But i think the charges and justin herbert's second year. They lost a ton of close games. I'd be shocked if they don't make the playoffs. And i know sometimes everybody says well this could be a playoff team and that could be a plan to even then you wind up with eleven of the sixteen teams and body. Only six can make it. So you know are are the browns. In-and-out are the colts in. And then out i think. The chargers are a playoff team this year and a double digit win team. So i'd say. La chargers. i like that. i i'm going to. I'm going to double down. On the browns at stem. You might say well never teams. They already it but i look at look at all for the super bowl. I think this browns fan apologizing right now for this i think they are genuine suitable contenders and i'm not sure enough. People are talking them up. As i think the browns are going to be really really competitive for a deep playoff run. Next season not are they are they. Kansas city's biggest threat. I think so. I think well amongst them. Yeah i mean. I think buffalo got to be that conversation but right now and love twists and turns to happen but right now if i put money down i would. I would be leaning. Cleveland i really. I think they'll be a better team than baltimore. I just and that's not to knock lamar jackson. But that's suggest about the roster. They make that huge trae this year. So.

"Shirtless with your fiancee and tropical climates. Is that passive aggressive. Urs just sort of like you're giving everybody else the foam all right like i. I don't know that that's towards green bay. You're not tagging them in your tweet but you're making a very aware you're having a great time being away for them. This is leaving the believing your girlfriend after ten years and making sure you've got a picture of yourself at a concert or on a beach somewhere with or new girlfriend or is exactly the sort of walk in terms of social media. Faux pas where remember when floyd mayweather was doing a live facebook or instagram live with troops american troops stationed out in the middle east and he was showing the his house and a part of his shara racket. Mtv cribs style. I think involved either. A suitcase was suddenly a very large pile of money. Do you probably to be too because trading on for that particular david. I wonder whether that same thing with aaron rodgers and the green bay packers fans right. Now do you really wanna be wanna be seeing that possess resolute with this. That he's that he's gonna. So why are you so sure. Why do you think this is the end of the road. i think it just. It's about when it came out on draft day. And i think only aaron can control that narrative. I don't think that's going to aaron rodgers and saying guess. What if you know if you don't give me a little more details. Throw me a few more breadcrumbs. We're going to let this out. I think aaron rodgers well aware of the story line and the narrative that we did the draft together with we'll gavin and twenty twenty and we were really surprised by By the pick of jordan love we just were and we thought about it at the time. And even quarterbacks get drafted since the beginning of time especially late in rounds when you've got an established quarterback already even though that's the case we just knew it would land differently in green bay because there's been this great debate and i think i know i speak of our colleague will gavin. Who's been adamant as a forty niners fan. It's not a big green bay packers span that there's no. There's no wiggle room for complaints for green bay about all pros. They've had all pro receivers for aaron rodgers. Nave had all pro lineman for aaron rodgers. They've had all pro linebackers play. Matthews's patrolling the the a four three defense as a middle linebacker was one of the best in the business for almost a half decade. I don't think aaron rodgers. Unlike maybe a dan marino dan fouts or lots of guys. Pre salary cap archie. Manning could complain about the talent around. I don't think aaron gets to do that. Because how do you keep making the nfc title game. How do you keep doing that. How do you keep winning. Twelve games every year. Run a bad football team so it doesn't ring true. But the fact that he put that out there on draft day and that leaks and it was dominated dominated your coverage mike coverage. Everybody's football this. It was trevor lawrence. Who's that. I have no idea what we're not we're like. We're like a dog getting distracted by car and then we start chasing a cat. That was it that was trevor. Lawrence is supposed to be coronation of trevor lawrence for jacksonville instead. It's like well. What would the broncos pay with. What would what would the chart or the the broncos and the raiders is the raiders off. Derek carr what would be the price involved we go to the afc. Stay in nfc based on the timing of that. Because i think aaron rodgers could have controlled that narrative in that that may have been passive aggressive but to me now. Nothing's been resolved so it's just plain aggressive almost two months later i think he's played his last game as a packer. 'wow well if he has. You mentioned two teams. I think with rogers. There's about said that the two most likely destinations that maybe they are uncertain. Logic would prevail that both of those teams in particular would look at a quarterback change more readily than many others. But then you took about aaron rodgers right. So i think most teams are in play with the exception of jacksonville cincinnati and kansas city. And maybe a handful of pretty much. Any team is theoretically in play right. Oh yeah i yeah trying to think i mean. There's obvious i think there's always those levels of we are so in love with our quarterback or we love him because he's done great things in the past so you're hesitant to move off manning and the giants right would be a great example of that. I think that element was there later. Flacco and the ravens for a long time. Yeah that's exact- that's a great example as well like there's a sense of loyalty even big ben. There's a loyalty in pittsburgh to ben rothlisberger. Who still. Ken have his moments and still can get done at various times. And let's face it. They don't start that playoff. Game against cleveland so disastrously in some of that was the bad snap. Got that what rolled into the end zone. mean can't see. A team started playoff game a home playoff game. No less worse than than pittsburgh did in those ten minutes but yeah they're and then there's just the well we kind of like. But if you have an idea. Jared goff would be that example for me with the rams if you have ideas to how we can upgrade. We're all ears and we're listening like look at all. The chitchat about miami to talk about is the highest draft picks. I since i can't think a win for the miami dolphins they drafted ryan tannehill which you mentioned eighth overall. But you gotta go way back. And it wasn't david woodley and it wasn't dan marino and brady quinn He was a cleveland. Browns draft picks that ended up there. Little so i can't think of who it is but there was chatter all year that well they. They'll upgrade to. Of course they'll try and do that so i think there's a there's several teams that you look at. You say there's not a real love affair going on with the quarterback and the head coach or the quarterback and the team infrastructure right. They're a bunch of them and there are in the nfc east. Obviously i think i think the giants would upgrade at the snap of finger on daniel jones even with an aaron rodgers gave them only three or four more years i think we agree washington would-be in the market chicago would have been before. Justin fields was drafted. So it's tough. I think denver. Denver seems to be that team. You tell me if i'm wrong. Denver just seems to be a team that everybody's isolating and i know we're going to talk about the shawn watson and the potential for denver later in this podcast but the broncos feel like the most obvious team. That's going to have a different quarterback in week one of this year than they did..

They'll they'll they'll clearly do that and even the back to my first answer. I'm not arguing. The falcons shouldn't have dealt julio jones. It's i'm sure there's a there's a great lament because if you and i had been leaving just in shock that patriots superbowl and i said to you. Not only will. They not get back super bowl. They won't make an they won't make an nfc title game again. With how shocking. The loss was after being up. Twenty eight three and losing in overtime to the pats. We actually might have believe it. But i'm not sure. I thought the wheels would come right off. Three under five hundred seasons in a row with matt ryan quarterback that should end you. Julio jones and a good running game that shouldn't be happening lead to the demise of dan quinn. Obviously with no one five start. So i can't tell with the falcons. I can't tell if they're going to bottom out a can't tell almost that's the goal but like i. I wouldn't have kept jones. I just would have held out for for more. If you've got closer to july. You great shout that the pick his gonna be at realistically unless something extraordinary. Abbas to tennessee season is going to be in the lower reaches. The deep awards are the second short. Incidentally that must be the hangover. Of all the falcons right. It was great brady. Hang overruled time. You know it might have happened. Even it hasn't happened during covid. Because that's the last thing i want to do is Is doubly flat. And i know they say alcohol. Consumption has gone up. You see me not. I'm a social drinker. I make that really tough call to go from two to three. And that's the line and an early morning radio right breakfast radio you realize when you do breakfast radio and you realize when you have little kids that last thing you want. You don't even wanna a mild headache. Let alone a massive pouting slave labor on your brain so It hasn't tended to happen too much as an adult. I know i know my limits. If only i knew my limits with all other forms of consumption heating having a bet once in a while downloading music but drinking is Very much that said. Like i said if if i was coming over for euro two thousand twenty different story absolutely be flowing. It's been a long fifteen months. We'd hadn't had backed barons court. The greg queens weeks ago. I don't care what. I go a just a couple of other bits on on earlier. We'll move on just some numbers. Espn stats and information. Hey i'm a company man. This dropped alley opportunities. Doug this one out actually appropes. Ali salute you for this over. The past ten seasons radio leads the nfl with fifty eight games of one hundred years more receiving the titans as a team the entire receiving core as a team of fifty in that same timespan just to put that into context in terms of the impact. That julio is hiding look he's clearly generation he one of the great receivers and could conceivably if he kicks on now this latter phase of his career. Because that's where he's at is thirty two your research got how do you think he has left providing them strings hold up. What are we looking at here at a two three years that started receiver he is and then that's probably all she wrote a minute. You get exceptions. To the rule larry fitzgerald being the most notable. But this this is pretty much. What looking at thirty thirty four thirty five. And then he'll hang them up. Yeah he's got three more years under contract for the titans. So i find that really intriguing and obviously with the non-guaranteed of the majority of contracts. You can move off a player. There ended up being dead cap. Hit as long as the titans to compete And he and ryan tannehill. Who you mentioned are kind of going to are of age together. Tannehill is only a year older than julio jones. So yeah i you know. I gotta think he wants to make the most of his three years as a contract for julio jones at age thirty five. Maybe there's a one year deal but every you know they're not the wide receivers don't age quite like running backs we know that you you'd better get that money while you still can and i never knock holdouts and i especially don't not because it's it's not a if it was a guaranteed contract and i'd say look you're you're you know you're getting paid and they oh you this money and you've got to fulfil like in the nba or nhl. I sock your major league baseball. You're getting paid. you should show up. Non guaranteed contracts are very different story for me especially running back. So we've seen the chris johnson's right and the and the maurice jones drew's give it a try and we saw famously with emmett smith in nineteen ninety-three when the cowboys were defending super bowl champs. They went own to the monday after that. Second game. jerry. Jones has the check for emmett smith. Like that's how it works. So i think julio's got at least a few years left in the tank. I look he has to you. Lay that out there. He has to bounce back because what we haven't seen is an unproductive julio jones when he's healthy and plays a full season that's a big big difference if the productivity was starting to wane most most yards in the league in two thousand eighteen and he only had two hundred eighty yards less than that missing a game no less in two thousand and nine thousand nine so i want to write off twenty twenty but at the same time i also. He's aware he'd be..

"To the show on. Espn good to have you with us. Gang good to be back and delighted to welcome one about all time. Faves one of the all pro lineup on the show. The brilliant greg brady all the way in toronto back to chin wag the latest stories from a big leagues going to dive into some of your questions from the mail bag as well. Thanks very much indeed for those. Let's get straight to it and welcome mr great brady greg brady. It is always a pleasure to see you in person. You and i've been working a fair bit together over the last couple of months. We were just musing as we are about to start recording the show. How utterly secret by face are you on a a scale of one to ten not terribly not terribly and And i wish i was seeing him person. I had tickets for five-year-old matches my uk based friends. Were quite jealous. They got shut out of the ballot. As you call it. We'd call it a lottery. you call about. that's okay. We get some boards wrong over here to trend in all of those tickets. Five for five like a baseball player. Having a great day is at the leadoff spot five five. They all get cancelled. They all get refunded so knowing on croatia no no holland austria amsterdam which was supposed be next thursday's on any of the games no disappointingly although i am going to be watching it religiously with my two boys of course who having had successful season at west ham. I've had told them to drink that in. Because that's gonna you never know what happens again. That's what i'm hoping will shine on england in the maybe we'll have a similar similarly. What you're saying that you know. The world cup was a successful turn. So maybe we can. I think there's i think this is. Nobody wants to picking when to win. But i think there's three teams that can win and this will all You know somebody'll will track down this podcast five weeks from now and go. Wow you really do you. Even watch the sport. It's it's france it's belgium and it's england although i'm selling myself on portugal. I think this portugal team more talented. Bend two thousand sixteen teams that. They're really believe that there was no bruno. Fernandez there's no ruben diaz the rinaldo still rinaldo. I think thinking about how bad they were also in the in the group. Stage three draws. They gave up four goals. This team is a powerhouse. But i think we're we're hesitant to pick them because we're like. Wow they won last time. So who does it twice the that team yet. I definitely everyone's raving on saturday. So about the the francie on paper but how often is the best team on paper get done. Hey not just in football and the nfl. Quite frankly as well. North macedonia is worth going there. The we need to link the euro teams. This time round with nfl teams like stuff. You don't want to say north macedonia jets. You don't wanna do that. Because the jets have allowed infrastructure and plenty of opera. We don't want say the detroit. Lions are scotland. Think that would alienate. We were talking about the other night. Five aside Scotland england one. They'll activist who was already bust. One nil threat third minute goal scrappy set piece goal. England will create very little and could plow out of the tournament because of the scott. You had us. I let that then that would make them not the detroit lions because they'd a win an important game let alone a playoff game since nineteen ninety-one tell you a quick story. I'm covering first summer over there in euro ninety six. I'm covering queens club right. The hill artois barons court tube. Stop that's i know it well. And it's the semi final on the saturday and thomas moose actually the number one seed. He couldn't play well on grass. So i think he loses to stefan edberg. It was a very retro summer. Summer britpop but edberg. Becker played in the final in ninety six and they were both of older guys. They first met in the In the wimbledon final in nineteen eighty eight so there are older and and we hear a roar in the stands at center court at at sell. Artois we hear roar. Roar is is the save of the gary mcallister penalty miss after one. Ill england yes louis here that and you know what comes next about a minute later every year. A bigger roar. It's the gaza goal off. The foot volley off the foot. That makes it too so the tremendous memories of that and again. You can't look yeah you have no idea going on so it becomes whisper. It's a game a broken telephone. Are you sure you just had a penalty. Missed and gaza went right down the field of basically from midfield and scored and it's two new england. Yeah that happened greg. Brady i blink. I it feels like only yesterday. Yeah many ways. That was something that was. What is summer. That was good times and a lot to be getting into for us on this. Get you back on this show. By the way we think radio together. Great to have you back in the espn house. Let's start with what we're going to start with. Julio the big story of the last seven days no doubt about. It wasn't surprised that he was out of atlanta. Because hey drop that bomb on national television. A couple of weeks back with shannon's skip but we were speculating where the destination would be. Those seem to be a few a few logical and viable landing spots the titans. Get the job done. A twenty twenty two second round pick. They've got a fourth round twenty twenty three as well the flipping that for six round and the twenty-three draft and they're absorbing 'cause all of the dollars and cents to the tennessee titans so atlanta off the hook and that was what a lot of this deal was predicated on that they needed to balance the books but nevertheless the losing one of that all time greats greg brady and he's landing at a contenders spot. So the question is is julio strong enough at age thirty two with all of those miles on the clock take the titans to the next level. Yeah i think i know. There's football left there. Obviously and the titans obviously feel that way and if they hadn't stepped up in times like these not you always want to know what the second best offer was. Because i don't think we look and say. The falcons overpaid remember as well. The falcons own twitter account to go social media. It's not everything but it's something. Put out a report that that be priced to get. Julio jones out of atlanta falcons official twitter accounts not a fan blog or anything. The falcons official twitter account puts out a tweet that says reports are the price is a first round draft pick for the atlanta. That's like me saying the price for my Two thousand eighteen hundred santa fe in the driveway right now is one hundred thousand pounds like wanna get it you can. You can hope that somebody will pay it. And i love that car. It's it's you know it's still got a couple of color. What are we going to accept. How's it.

"There's russell gauge. So absolutely i see myself having a lot of shares russell gauge depending on where people are going to be taking him. How crazy against because the you know the trade is happened last week. Let this marinate for a couple months. We'll see how crazy people on raw muscle gauge. But i'm gonna like him. Taj sharp right now. I think he's number three for atlanta. Knew you were going to butcher. That guy that guy's last name we'll do. Those top taught my head. I mean give me give me a little bit of credit zacchaeus zacchaeus. I'll do that. I'll talk to my head. So mean i don't know how many people do that better than your chris. Godwin take. i'll give you that right. I tell you that right now. I don't know where i was. I don't know. I don't know why i was just throwing chris guy goblins name okay so his name for awhile. I anticipate i anticipate the same round you know with the watterson to atlanta. So so again. We'll we'll address that as we get more clarity again. Two more players though real quick kyle pits. I think the easiest option here is gonna be something that i don't love which is going to be. Okay they don't have cow pits. Now i mean they don't have julio jones on cal wide receiver to you know. He's going to get x. Amount of targets and catches he. His stock draft capital is going to go up being tight. End as great as obviously is i just. I don't see myself wanting to believe and buy into all this cost. That's going to be baked into cow pisses under agree. Yeah i mean. I think like if anything this trait has to help him. It can't hurt him. But i'm not to get too crazy over it. I think that not having coolio i. Yeah i don't think he's gonna all of a sudden. Yeah i agree. Yep and then last not lease is derrick henry the impacts of of derrick. Henry yeah i mean just mean. Aj brass by selling a broken record. I i don't see much change in with derrick henry. I think this helps them for sure. Though i mean how can you not you have. Aj brown julio jones defenses cannot load up stop you they have to account for julio in aj brown. There's going to be more running room for derrick henry split hairs and say we'll julio takeaway touchdowns from dirk henry probably not. There's going to be running team. That's other identity. I liked derrick henry. I think that this trade definitely helps my i had. I think the three biggest winners of this trade are in this order. Calvin ridley ryan tannehill derrick henry. Okay now as you know. The top eight picks right now are running backs and you know. I don't really see that changing too much. And then there's there's three three other players one being kelsey. Which never taking italian i. I'm sorry i can't get there but an air jones smuggler. Laggers looking at this running back. I know i'm throwing this on you just out of the blue and i'm just looking at derrick henry. If you had a top pick we wanna running back right. We all want the running back. We all want the stud running back on trying to formulate question here while i'm looking at this list because because what i'm looking at like mcmahon do i really wanna take this person at three. I really wanted this person at for like which which of these running backs you feel. Confident like i don't really wanna take saquon top-five that doesn't excite me alvin kamara. I can't trust those touchdowns coming back without drew. Brees is jonathan taylor. All of a sudden a top five running back or can i just go. I said he's gonna make a big leap right and he was in my big leap category. But i mean men. That's a risky pick. I liked zeke. He's safe. He's boring he's up. He's up my alley. But at the same time. Zeke is ben really you know once they regressed but he's been really muffled in terms of his production with the passing a dallas. And then nick chubb cleveland. So i'm never going to go that route. That's a lot of the top end talent on the first round. How the that's how i'm seeing. How are you seeing. Dalvin cook lot. Yeah and bigler ship stuff. It's a flawed top ten especially. We're running back. This is a a mean siamak. He had a rough year last year. I don't you know it's not a slam. He's no longer a slam. Dunk doesn't feel like you know. Kalgoorlie's had ahead hot and cold years. Last year was red. Hot nodule breeze. I get it derrick. Henry seems like the ultimate safe. And i know i would say tennessee and has to go. But haven't julio just change you can't say adding julio one of the top five receivers in the last ten fifteen years doesn't change anything because it does i just how derrick henry not have a great season as long as he can stay healthy. It is the top ten more of a detriment to the top. Ten in terms of the weakness of the top ten. To derrick. henry is at number three overall or is it is there. Henry you know that deserving well and this is the thing with henry. I mean if you just go based on stats. And he's hundred percent worthy over two thousand yards last year rushing. Seventeen touchdowns the guys. The guy's a stud and he had no receiving touchdowns last year to the prior year. So it's not like he had this fluky weird year where he was catching know. Three or four passes. The guys is a walk the year before he had fifteen hundred yards. He's gonna have lot of rushing yards and a lot of rushing touchdowns and he's a running back as a workhorse. Three hundred and seventy eight carries levy. Nfl and carries last year. So yeah i think he deserves it. It's just with their kettering. There's always that you know there's other running backs that have a higher ceiling. Because he doesn't catch the ball. He only had one hundred and fourteen receiving yards nineteen catches last year. That's why you have saquon hanging around in the top five because because he's explosive and he has the ability to catch but You know give me the points you know. I think the derrick henry is is a fine pick in the top five. If you want to avoid the it's like if you wanna swing for the fences go for it but if you want to take the sure thing. Derrick henry is the ultimate sure thing in the top ten and i think in this case. Is you love to say so often. We're both things can be true right. And i think for myself. If i had to pick three and i had to pick today without giving much thought about this because it's too early. I think i would have to pick derrick henry for the things that you just mentioned in. Everyone knows how i felt about. Derrick henry in the past so i think that is a detriment to the top ten so i think both things are true. His his scoring has justified him being up there but the fact that he is people have always kind of been a little weary on him. Npr leagues demetriou. Npr not standard which is obviously a different conversation. So both things are true. It's going to be a very interesting top ten and be very curious to see what people which which of these people actually move. Anyone can actually creep into these running backs toppy but any other going. Be our tennessee episode. Follow up impacted. Julio jones we are the nfl talking heads and thanks for listening. Thanks so much for listening to this episode of the nfl. Talking heads fantasy football podcast. Show dry. Saying that. With your host jeff carrier and seth law. We'll catch you next time..

"That's why he is going as high as he is. Because he's actually producing but the impact that that you think. Julio leaving in that whole there that that gives calvin ridley. Yeah i think he's the number one winner in this entire trade. The reason that he doesn't get probably the shine that he deserves it. You know the last couple of years is because he is. I don't want to say he's boring but he's just he's a salt so solid and steady. He does everything well but he's also part of atlanta who who hasn't been competitive And there's julio there so he gets a lot of attention but calvin ridley. I mean had the best year of his career last year. Now parv that is is his third year in the nfl. apart of that is because julio missed five games Yet by far is highest targets per game. Totals higher targets polling across the board no touchdowns in touchdowns every single year ten touchdowns his first year seven and then nine last year i think calvin ridley given the atlanta's not gonna stop throwing the football their defenses terrible. They're an offense. It's going to throw the ball a lot. And that's not going to change. So i think. Calvin ridley is going to rack up time targets. He's going to be even more of a volume receiver catches last year. I think i you know. I want to say law but i think he can be one hundred reception guy this year. You know kyle pits russell gauge. We'll have some fancy relevance this year. But calvin ridley is going to be the guy and when julio left last year his targets per game went up as well as you would expect. So he's just he's going to be a monster. This year is probably going to be the most undervalued receiver if you look at where he's going right now. Two point oh seven. It's hard to say that somebody is over or under valued at two point zero seven. If you look at it's just stats willow. Pro football reference page. But calvin ridley. I think is going to be undervalued this year. I think he has a chance to be atop by receiver. Two point zero seven to me. Screams kareem's gimme the points right like we got ourselves in these situations. Where what are we going to do at the end of the second. We're gonna try to be cute or we're just gonna take all of these points number one wide receiver on a bad defense now. Of course there's some things going to be changing with that team every time you change coaches. But he's still a really good wide receiver and he's still matt ryan there so i mean talk about how many free points you're getting at the end of the second round. You marry that up with a with a elite you know. Of course you then be picking a top of the first round. Which means you get you get when you're running backs that seems like an amazing combo agree with everything that you said. Would you move him up. So these are the people that are currently going ahead of them. Assuming davante adams has aaron rodgers. You have adams hill. Digs hopkins metcalfe and then ridley is able to vault any of them because of this so oxy atoms depends on know aaron rodgers situation impacts that. I'm taking tyreek hill over him. I'm i'm taking digs over. Him hopkins probably in yemen. I love my cap and taking a long roundabout way of you. Saying even goes straight is for him. it's the wide receivers are still that good. And he's still where he isn't. I agree. yeah. There's no shame. In that i mean he's he's a he's a he's going ahead of. Michael thomas is here a year ago. If you were to say that i would probably say you're crazy. He's he's going to be going to be a beast this year. So it's crazy. When we think matt ryan threw twenty six touchdowns calvin ridley had nine of them in the year. When julio played over half a season so he's one of those rare guys he's gonna be a hundred catch guy he's gonna probably be someone that's gonna you know catch nine or nine ten touchdowns over twelve hundred yards It's an offense. That's one of the top five highest pass attempts offense but his name is entirely kill. So you get them at you. Get them at discount. Which is great i. It's so tempting to throw hot take out there and say oh. I'd rather have him over but no it's he's going right where he should go. But the value is great. You if somebody takes metcalf right in front of you and hopkins digs hill and ams are off the board and you get really like you're doing cartwheels. You're you know you couldn't be more excited. Because i do think he's going to be better than aj brown this year. Aj brown has no margin for air. It eleven touchdowns last year. You know hundred and six targets. Julio coming in his targets aren't going to go up unless throw the ball more overall So there's just no margin for error. They jay brown. Calvin ridley is going to be. I love the high volume guys to part of its philosophy. What you like and receivers hockey now. So i'm going to like really lot. Okay going to wrap this up quickly or shortly here. But i definitely want to touch on a under the radar potential. You know beneficiary person here. And i don't know who is going to be but you know currently it's going to the wide receiver who is a new wide receiver to atlanta. Who is that person. And where do you think they might slide in and move all the way to so. It could be russell gauge who actually had some nice games last year. They had some other zach recent person right as well. We'll probably know through training. Camp who that number two is going to likely be. I could see myself drafting a wide receiver to anwar receiver three from atlanta. Just because it's lanta you just you just don't know but give me your thoughts like personally me as boring as i am. I am intrigued with taking tenth-round round atlanta wide receiver to knowing that he might be the perfect flex player because again they have productive wide receiver. Threes last year on the field. Yep and they always have and russell gauge only twenty five years old had a very solid season last year when he's been given the opportunities he's delivered and we always talk about our bench strategy looking for these players that are high floor. guy is. there's going to be a lot of volume period in atlanta and as good as kyle pits project to be he's going to be a first year tight end outside of kyle pits and calvin ridley..

Calvin ridley Julio aj brown Aj brown calvin ridley five games julio third year Michael thomas this year twenty six touchdowns ten Two point last year first year second round kyle pits This year twenty five years old a year ago

"Dave they ac- south is wide open man tons of trouble in houston down their first year quarterback with trevor lawrence first year coach in jacksonville and the calls look like they have a lot of the pieces in place but carson wentz is coming off a couple terrible season so the time is now for these titans. They've been close and that defense needed a lot of work. Of course they spent a ton of picks in the draft on defense they added bud pre jenkins ended nico autry so you know it's it might be the time to get it going. So tennessee's like yeah. Let's do this right now. I think it's an awesome awesome when when your team is that close and it gets. It gets great when you're going to the playoffs every year but then you actually went to win the super bowl. That's where this titans team is right now. And that's this might be the missing piece right now. Obviously this offseason what they've done with their roster and and adding julio man. It's just going to be very very exciting to see what they're able to do and he's out of the nfc so that's good news for me in the super bowl. Alright dave i want to talk a little bit about alex smith. This was the two thousand twenty. Nfl comeback player of the year and espn e. sixty just relieved the project. Eleven alex smith final drive dude. And if you haven't seen this thing go out and watch it right now. Just a remarkable journey dude. You cannot believe what this guy did to get back to the nfl. Yeah no question about a case mean. He had so many setbacks there when you think about his whole career he always seemed to overcome adversity. You know he was obviously the first overall draft pick so that wasn't adversity there. But then the pressure of performing ultimately replaced as the starter in san francisco moved on to kansas city and then was prospering. They're taking them to the playoffs. Just like you did with forty niners and of course they draft mahomes and replace him again. It goes to washington and he's leading the redskins and suddenly the horrible horrible leg break. That obviously led him to this situation. But he wasn't going out like that either casey. He was going to find a way to come back and man surgery after surgery and the infections. I like you said you just got to watch the show to really fully embraced. What what he went through totally do the doctors at one point in this documentary saying to hell with the leg. We're just trying to save this guy's life and for him to come back not only to be able to walk again. Not only states lake to compete at the nfl. He went five in one with washington last year. Remarkable story if you weren't a fan of alex smith before this you're to be huge. Alex smith fan. After you watch it go out check it out. You will not regret it. Yeah absolutely right. Dave a little bit of sadness on the trend zone today. Jim fossil whose bowl guarantee of a playoff bid late in two thousand and season catapulted the giants to a spot. In the super bowl coach fossil passes away at seventy one man fossils ninety ninety seven. Nfl coach of the year was the giants head coach from ninety seven to two thousand. Three fifty eight fifty three in one obviously lake mentioned got the team to the super bowl two and three and postseason including the loss in in the super bowl to the ravens there in two thousand and one but Definitely a classy guy man..

We'll check in with mandatory minicamp in green bay and see if their main man was there. Also we'll talk about the huge trade. That sent julio jones to the titans at what that means for both the titans ended the falcons. And we're gonna shove all our chips to the middle of the table as remember an nfl. Coaching legend day. Before we get rolling brother. Do you have a tasty. chris. People's i'm going to give a little to the peeps casey. I'll tell you what the seventeenth game. Casey the fact that it's nfc versus afc has resulted in some pretty tasty matchups including fourteen super bowl. Rematches in this twenty twenty one season the biggest season ever including super bowl. One packers at chiefs in week nine. That sounds awesome. Actually the most recent super bowl matchup that will be rekindled will be the patriots falcons. That's week eleven man. That's thursday night or two. Obviously the falcons might have a little vengeance on their minds. They're right yeah that beka still little honoring how that second. Half point ary falcons dave. Speaking of anri bro. Aaron rodgers there was speculation if he would or would not show up for. Mini camp was a no show at packers. Mandatory minicamp on tuesday confirming a lack of grunted. Mvp he also missed ota's for the first time in his career this spring. But dave those were voluntary and what do voluntary mean. hey man it doesn't mean mandatory. That's for sure. And you know by skipping this minicam casey. It's the first time he's ever done. And it's costing a mini campus him. Ninety three thousand which is trump change. He's already given up five hundred thousand dollars for missing. Ota in terms of a workout bonus right but that's nothing compared to what he would be giving up if he were to stay away. And let's say. I guess retire it would be giving up his fourteen point seven million dollar salary for this year and he'd have to have to pay back just about thirty million bucks dude. That's almost forty five million dollars to not play football coming off the mvp season man. Well too bad. They haven't been able to find any pictures of that. Infamous roger sour by running that d role. He's always smile man. Yeah did you know that might be bad. News for packers hand but there is some good news jordan love but is that good news for packer fans if well according to espn's rob demovsky. Casey love has quote struggled with accuracy during practice. That's kind of important especially when you're not really playing against the defense right. Obviously you know not the best sign going. Twelve of twenty three in the l. Team activities there as well as the failed. Two minute drill man but you know they did see the bright side. Which is that arm. That they liked the arm strength. Is there casey. So they've got raw talent there. And maybe he gets over the jitters..

"Is that really saying all that much. I think vegas has him is like an eight one team or seven team. This is now a seventeen game season. So that's not even five hundred. So i don't know i don't know where we're at with atlanta i. I think that's about right though. They they could get lucky. I'm more pessimistic. On matt matt ryan just based on what i saw. I don't watch a lot of falcons games. But i remember that we. I think it was week fourteen against the chargers where he threw a bunch of looked. He did not look like the same quarterback. And i think tom brady is kind of lawless. All under thinking that there is no aging in the quarterback position. But i was thirty five. He's got a guy. I wonder so. I guess my question is i wonder whether if they could do it all again in no that. Julio is gone whether they would have kind of taken a quarterback in that draft position. Whether it's trae lance or whoever i i mean i think it was a huge mistake i mean we don't. I don't even think we need to know if either of those quarterbacks will be good to be able to say that. It was a process mistake not to take a quarterback with the fourth overall pick. I think you know just the value differential between quarterback and everyone else is just so large. That i don't quite understand it and from the very beginning the in atlanta is nowhere fought. I don't know the exact pronunciation i apologized. But he e had been telegraphing from the very beginning of his tenure that he was going to get rid of. Julio so it was just always in the cards it seemed He restructured matt ryan's contract. When you get that year as a gm where you kinda blow things up if you want to and you can do with impunity. Owner doesn't get mad. The fan base in media. Don't get mad. And he took a pass on all that he basically said. I'm now i'm gonna put my stamp of approval on basically what we had before and kind of kind of move this thing forward for another year and try and compete passed on just in fields passed on i guess mcjohnson about that pick was gone because he went to san francisco but it was there. That's right that's right. Yeah yeah it would have been a good pick. I agree and although he's such a projection. He's just like all raw talent. Like josh allen redux but anyway i'm kind of rambling but i think i think to the point you were making about about Atlanta i think the kind of all always in the cards julia was leaving. And i think that's wild. It really is surprising. You know for for for what he has done what he even seasons where he was injured and missed games. What he did while he was in those games as you showed in your piece. Josh was just such high level production and to not want to keep a a a player like that around to keep him. Happy is just confusing to me. I i don't understand it really. And it seems like the falcons are now kind of caught in the middle like they didn't want to commit to rebuilding around a new quarterback like you said they didn't draft someone they took pits which is a move. That sort of is seen as extending matt ryan's window of Being viable starter yet. Also at the same time losing..

"Mike very bless your head coach if he's got a good understanding of how those veterans one work during the week did not seem to limit. Aj brown last year when he was playing as you know throughout the season with that knee injury that he was managing. I expect the same from julio. I think one of the things that's going to always be a narrative with. Julio is the lack of touchdowns and mike you are the king of regression models in our projections and basically everything. That's used on fantasy football on. Espn i've always believed it. Just been bad luck for. Julio jones do feel that there is any way in project that julio's changing of offense is will mean anything whatsoever about his ability to find the end zone because if he finds the end zone with his yards per game he has read his ten year career as you said like wide receiver. Fifteen might be low on him. Yeah so I think it it. It was a mix of two things. Sometimes he wasn't targeted near the end zone which never made sense to us and other times they be like okay. We're gonna target you near the end zone. It just didn't work so he had like you look at. Twenty seventeen is otd or is Is expected touchdown. Total was the to nine range. You only three touchdowns after that jumped two point five. He scored a touchdown so he was back on track. Twenty nine thousand nine hundred. He had six touchdowns is expected. Total was six point one. He was right on track last season three touchdowns three point nine so. I don't think that it's as severe as people think. It's just a matter of getting in the ball in that area but he certainly had some bad luck at times. A lack of opportunity Again i think that the biggest thing is like i said opportunity. Are you going to get that in an or get more of that in an offense that the nfl touchdowns it said that. For the third time now. I think it's really important over the past few seasons. Yes of course he will. He should get more work down down near the end zone so I think he'll be fine in that department. I believe i have him. If i'm not mistaken with Let's see Project seven touchdowns again. We're not looking at a guy who Who's i'm not projecting jones like prime twenty seven twenty eight year old. Julio jones right in pass heavy offense. I had now second in line rage brand. This is still enough with seventy catches around. Eleven hundred yards seven touchdowns. That's enough to make kim a Just inside the top twenty sort of fantasy wide receiver. So i'm not again. No major concerns there. I guess the only thing you're worried about is the goal line draws near really is derrick henry right. 'cause we know he's he's number is option one two and three when they get to the goal line but after that jones very welcome finished second on this team in touchdowns at the worst. You probably ends up there so we all feel like there's a chance for julio to probably slide somewhere based off. Adp in that wide receiver to be ten to twenty range as a chance may be convinced. The top ten scoring wide to a couple of things break right. He's still a really you really talented guy. Let's get to the field. Oh one more nugget though. I just want to throw in your just to play. Devil's advocate very slightly. Just something to keep in mind if you look back at the past five seasons in the nfl and look at the twenty wide receivers all five seasons of a sample of one hundred only four of those one hundred whereby a player who has h thirty two to open the season they were julian. Edelman twice larry fitzgerald twice. Now that's interesting. That gives me a little pause on him. A little concerned. Just because we've seen that fall off. you know. Maybe that means he settled in as a wide receiver three or maybe it means. He misses some time. Or maybe a means. He's the exception because he is maybe the best wide receiver the nfl over the past decade. So i just wanted to throw that in there. I think it was an interesting. Now get something to keep in mind with leo jones. Well mike you're not the only one that's concerned about that as the nfl was concerned about that right. I mean there. There's a there's a large market are there was excuse me a small market for a guy who will one day have a gold jacket on likely first ballot hall of famer five years after he decides to hang them up. So let's get to the other players that may or may not be impacted by this. Mike i think some people think about aj brown and the fallout aj brown. By the way the second best recruiter in america. Behind only nick satan. Who of course was begging for the titans to acquire. Julio jones bleeding with julio jones to make it happen it worked. Does this make anything. Is this change anything for. Aj browns value to make go up. Go down or is. Aj brown one of those guys. That like i would be the titans number two wide receiver and you'd still feel the same same way about him as you would with. Julio jones's the number two receiver it changes very little. I did take about one percent of a target share weight from him. It made little impact. Maybe a drop them down from wide receiver. Four or five in four to seven or eight. It's it's a small margin Jumping a guy. Like calvin ridley ahead of him. Who will get to later is fine. By my estimation. I did that as well but look i think. The brown brown looks like a superstar without question. I think that the. I think we'd be higher on him. How do you not miss two games early on last year. Because he ended up with a twenty eight percent target share during the weeks he played and was the fourth highest scoring wide receiver. Those weeks of the guy just been terrific is efficiency is off the charts. He's also benefited from this offense. Of course which by the way we should mention you. You mentioned it toward the top. Arthur smith has gone a little nervous about that. You know who is the real reason that offense has been so dominant the past couple years. Is that arthur smith or is it ryan tannehill just being maximized and being in a good situation or is it. The is there henry. Aj brown in these guys that were around ten a hill so There are some more questions within there were a season ago But at the end of the day. I think brandon is just so good can do so much of the volunteers and and again even though julio jones's there's room there's room for a high target share for holy jones because of the players that left so aj brown already had a path to a big target share that should be in the twenty seven to twenty nine percent range. Maybe a pitch higher than that. That's available and that's i really hurt by jones showing up so i still have very high expectations for him Right around thirteen hundred yards and nine touchdowns. Yeah i mean. I feel this again mike. You're speaking the words that i am expecting to speak just a few minutes after you and brown suck unique player too right. I mean i guess the other thing that probably is understood..

"With a couple of premises here. It was june sixth when this trade was first reported thick about how many teams baseba cast their die for this upcoming season. Right your plans are largely laid in those include a lot of your cap being tied up inter stand that you can always find ways almost always find ways to create salary cap. Bud some teams. Feel as though when you do that. You're basically robbing peter to pay paul. So you're going to eventually have it catch up to you. Toil jones's thirty two years old in seven games. Last year is a guy who's missed quite a bit of practice in recent seasons and he's making fifteen million dollars guaranteed this year. It's not like this is some small check. That's being cut to. Julio so i think that the market julio was a much smaller pool of teams than you would have guessed be heard. Julio jones is available for a trade but the titans in so many ways where a logical partner ahead. A glaring gaping need at wide receiver to there's familiarity of course their former offense coordinator. Arthur smith is now the falcons head coach. So you've got a natural report working there to make this an amenable move for both sides so with that being said. Let's get into the fantasy impact in because there's so much we could dive into. So let's begin. Mike with your initial thought on the value for julio jones if you can recall where you may have had him ranked prior to this trade and then where he lands after the trade yes so honestly i did not move him very much. He's been kind of floating around. Say the fourteen twenty two range for me and that kind of really comes down to a feeling for his health whether or not you think he's gonna fall off at all right And we look at last season. Obviously he missed about half of the season with injury. Which you know you get a little concerned with at his age at age thirty two but when he played he was it was awesome during seven full games. He was a top five fantasy wide receiver and believe it or not. He said a career high in yards per target so the efficiency was still there in the production. Was there You know he's going from a very pass. Heavy offense over the past few seasons going back to when dirk koetter was there to one of the run. Heavy offense in the nfl but again also one of the most efficient offense is in the nfl again. They're number one in touchdowns over the past two seasons on the side of the ball. The falcons are twenty. I in that category during the same span. So it's an offense that could perhaps or a lot. More often quarterback that has played better frankly than matt ryan the past couple of seasons in target share. It should be similar honestly. i had him in the. We'll say twenty one to twenty maybe twenty three percent average this season projected assuming you know during weeks he was healthy anyway. And i'm gonna fall in that same sort of the senate here with With the tennessee. Titans again he's the situation is surprisingly very similar. Because you're calvin ridley kind of taking control of the one job in atlanta. You go to tennessee. And that's where. Ej brown kind of fits that bill and should handle. Perhaps the team lead in target. So i think the situation is probably closer than people realize and keep this in mind to atlanta was going to run the ball right e- so even if you we were projected him a month ago you still expected with arthur smith there for to be a more balanced. Perhaps even run. I often so we kind of style that coming going into this twenty twenty one season now. It's a little run heavier but again he has a path to a pretty Pretty strong target share. So i still think jones is a mid range wide receiver to i would say a worse. I think honestly he can do better than that. And perhaps the titans could be one of those rare teams that has to top twelve fantasy wide. Receivers i think it's possible mike guitar for me to disagree with Basically anything you said right. There is a lot of my my thoughts mirror those good. I'm glad you sort of dispel. Some of the the notions right like if he had stayed in atlanta they were going to be as past happy. Under arthur smith as they were previous offensive coordinators who coach julio jones and now that he's in tennessee while it's possible are as run heavy as they were or they have been for the past couple of seasons bike. It's also possible that like this team could creep up the rankings. A little bit in terms of how many passing Throwing per game because you can kind of chicken versus egg thing right leg or you throwing the football a lot because you're wide receiver group. Although lead last year by arthur brown and corey davis is good but maybe not necessarily as dynamic as their possibly isn't the nfl like think it stands to reason for trading for julio jones you might be amenable to making him or making your too wide receivers more involved than they have been in recent years but only the wild card is just the Jones right like i understand that he was traded. There's a reason why he was traded. But i would never discount the possibility of what a change of scenery can do for player. This is a guy who from the minute he arrived in. The the franchise did not necessarily revolve around him. If matt ryan was already there but it came pretty darn close to revolving around. Julio in recent years have been frustrating for him. I think there's a breath of fresh air. That's being pumped into julio jones and so i've wide receiver fifteen. What a surprise me if he looks at least a start..

"Johnson boxes now and he went the distance in a four round exhibition. On sunday night he was the opening. Fight of the floyd mayweather. Logan paul undercard and this is just an excuse to say what happened boxing. What's going. I mean the fact that this was a pay per view event on a sunday night by the way what's that all about With a youtube star. Logan paul and a forty four year old tired floyd mayweather like we had our. We had a our old buddy. Mike cop jer Who used to work for. Nfl media now as you know doing very well for himself covering boxing. I'm wondering if you're a boxing. Purists like somebody and i grew up Like you guys did ladies and it was awesome. Mike tyson was coming up and it was a great heavyweight division. You have this fee nom that you could build the sport around in the heavyweight division. But i'm no expert. And i and i wonder if like the boxing purist out there when this is the biggest story around the sport. That's gotta hurt. I mean that's gotta hurt. Anyway but chad johnson is one of these guys on the carnage. Just like not only. Do you have youtubers against retired. Guys that have fought like once in five years. And that's floyd mayweather and even that his last match was against the m Guy the irishman. What's his name conor. Mcgregor gonna mcgregor hundred million doing here. And we paid for that i remember. We all watched that together. That that fight. But i don't know i'm not bagging on on other sports on. I know there's lovers out there but it's crazy to me. That chad johnson is on the undercard of the biggest match of the year. My my only note though would be. I do think with boxing because it's accessible to anyone. I mean all sorts of people get into fights bars and taverns like anyone could box. They wanted to so there is i. If you're going to be like a professional boxing circuit. Stay away from this. But in general. Like would i pay fifty dollars to see like greg and dan spar for i don't know how many rounds that would last maybe one two but like question. I'm i would hope snow. I mean i think there is something about like you know pairing wacky You know individuals against each other in the ring. I like the idea that the air grains in like hits dan with chair some in between wwe and an actual sport and they're so in floyd mayweather made a great point of he sort of was a youtube star before youtube stars is like he getting people to pay money even though they're always like disappointed by his fights by doing all this crazy stuff off the out of the ring and then people pay their money and they're they're a little dissatisfied but it's like that's that that's what he's been doing his entire career. It's very strange. The most interesting part of the chad johnson was. Oh not only was it against nate robinson and he got no not against robinson rather was some guy it was supposed to be against pacman jones. Pacman chad doja. Cinco wouldn't do it. He wouldn't do it against pac man. He wasn't confident enough against back. Man i wouldn't want to get in there against pacman either. I guess if you wanna turn into like pro wrestling spectacled find that. This is the direction but this is the sweet science right. They're going for belts. There's somewhere in between. Because i think there's an idea that you know may weather is trying to help. Logan paul look good here and then like sign them to his company and they might do it again and it's like all this sorta for said shod chad johnson. After the fight. I lost my virginity tonight and it was fun. I think i'm ready for mcgregor. Okay that's enough. That's what's happening in the news. I got him on like old guy. Shit shaking hands and shouting at the clouds about this but you know you better win sports as a sports fan like all encompassing. I enjoy sports. More when there's a fun. Boxing vibe going on. It's been awhile all right before we go Our friend friend of the show kyle. Brandt is in australia right now. We talk about our our fans are all over the world and although kit about some of the mailbag questions. I tend to get Love appreciate our overseas fans because they are everywhere including australia. So is there because kyle's career is blown up and he's got a little bit. I think the project is a little mysterious what it is exactly. But he's he's in australia quarantining. Two weeks staying in a hotel yet to do that. to satisfy the cove nineteen protocols. Down there where australia. If i'm not mistaken has really done well in that. Realm with covid has not been anything like it's been a lot of other places in the world and he is doing hail. Good morning football from australia this week. With a tapings for him at like eleven pm six. Am in new york with the rest of the gang anyway. This is a clip from that show. That was sent my way a when kyle was talking about once. He was allowed back into society in australia. This is what happened. And i turn. It's just some guy. It's an australian guy returning home and he goes. I like your show mate. And i was like how morning football. I'm so flattered that's incredible. I mean that's i didn't know you guys have it and it's really great and he goes. I want to And i go. Yeah i'm wondering like you know one of our wacky segments or is it like the banter at the table like. What is this australia man about this. As his favourite part of the football and he goes a like dan. Hans this i go oh really. That's that's cool bands. Great on the show like a show. Let's to say but he does come on a lot. I walk around the nfl. May and i was like. Wow what an incredible. I'm sorry i'm not greg rosenthal. I wish i could be starting to disappoint you dude. But anyway and greg all the guys you got a huge fan down here some bloke offsite loves dan hands. This stand the best. That's my story. Was that mark. And greg. And all the guys i knew that was gonna the look on mark's face right now he is. He's furious. he's not happy that around the nfl got some nice. Good morning football pop. That are that are more excited about us. Think thinks kyle is on our show or something who knows. He's mattie didn't get mentioned there. I'm not mad at one of the actually left. College is second college that he transferred to you to go to australia for six months. I feel a special connection to the country. But this this bloke down there apparently take less money you spent some time jerry. I've never heard about this. Let's well you know four new listeners. Then you born in england now if you missed the eleven hundred shows until now you just joining their. I wanna see what he's up to down there. I think it's interesting mysterious and end of our show so if we have a random dude and whoever you are dude waiting good job. Thanks for supporting us all these years. I mean. we're trying to get back to london. We wanna germany. There's a lot of talk about games being played in germany this year man. Let's just go for it down to australia and get loose. "You're still going to now. Have this awesome talent here. And the dynamic duo that you could put up against anyway. But it's one of those things like in june. This is the perfect trade. And the fact that you didn't have to give a first rounder and i guess that report that that surfaced last weekend that they had a first round pick trade offer in hand of the falcons was all baloney But we'll see name eighty seven with saying they would give up a first and you have to send a second back which would be a bad job withholding that from the first report. But that's what i'm guessing probably an probably pay for part of julio jones's contra or it was just it was just since there's no gm app they just floated that out in the wind. Hoping another team would get sucked into to get into derby surrender first round pick but That's that's my only kind of hesitation like the yellow light. It's a great move. i love. They went for it. And are aggressive here tennessee But will he be that guy. Will we see them on the field. These to tighten wide receivers. I meant titan like great players. But they're also the titans yes So i hope we get seventeen games of that. That's where he just gotta cross fingers and hope for some luck. There is some concern that. Julio jones has rarely practiced in the last three years. That's a fair point. Like he has shown up on sundays. He's always questionable. he never practices. I don't know if these. Nfl teams are all concerned about. He's been quoted in the past. I'm not really an off season weights guy you know. I only lift weights when they make me to during the season he obviously is a well conditioned athlete that works out in his ready to play football at an extremely high level. Because that's all he's ever done But for him you know. He hasn't been like tom brady. Tb twelve. he's he basically says the only lifts weights When they make them. I don't know if there's some concern that. He's not going to age while i do think there has to be just inherently a human motivation to make this work. When you get to tennessee. Not that he wouldn't be motivated in atlanta but he's in a new spot. Aj brown push to get him there and he has to be thinking like i want to set up the next contract. There's a couple of more things. I do want to talk about with cooler. But one of them is the money and i think it's been misunderstood that like all you gotta take on julio's contract okay. You gotta have the room to take it on this year but everyone should understand. Julio jones has an incredibly good contract to take on now. That's i think going to be a problem down the line and is probably why were hesitant but for this year unless he's insisting on new money this year he's fifteen million dollars this year. That's it like you look around the league and who's making fifteen dollars million dollars or more at wide receiver. Julio jones's better than most of them like that's the type of money. Sammy watkins was making on the open market. Not much more than corey davis in nelson aguilar were making on the open market a little more and then in the two years after this one is making significantly less in. That contract looks amazing. So worst case. If you're the titans you either have to pay more money. When the cap goes up or it doesn't work out and he'll he's very easy to get rid of or he's possibly tradeable again and i. I don't think the money part of it if you can absorb them. This year was should be negative. That was part of the discussion. I didn't totally understand unless you're atlanta. Who had kind of box themselves in a corner. And and we're in a bad spot right. Because i think it's correct like what i guess. The premise of our show a lot of times. It's cap space. Let's not over worry about it. But atlanta was one of me. You can go against that. You know because. I think that claim as mr caps space. So it's just it's just not it's not like all teams atlanta absolute brings in a terrible situation and arthur smith who shares the same agent as julio jones. I would imagine new to some degree. What he was dealing with when he came into the situation. Or or maybe he didn't but it shouldn't have been a huge surprise that julio jones probably wasn't totally happy with the falcons that was a big part of the reason he moved but they were the one team that absolutely could not hold onto his contract. And that's mismanagement. And that's me. Says the falcons like look at. This should not have happened this way. I mean they get they get an f grade for me. If you need to move on from a player at some point they were in a tough spot this new regime but to get here and to have them inherent this to me is just a disastrous exit for julio jones and i don't think it would if it worked out in. Julio jones helped the titans gets the afc championship of the super bowl. It's not that. Different than the raiders trading it randy moss to the patriots for a fourth. Rounder it just. Isn't i mean to me. Like regret for the falcons. If you're a falcons fan is i. It's not like it didn't have to happen. Like i remember reading the article that they could have made some other ostra moves and way right there you go great ajar jarrett and just worked out an extension with him that spread out his cap. And then all of a sudden you you can survive in the new. Get this opportunity to have your own big to with calvin ridley and julio jones and of course the kyle pissed the dynamic rookie tight enter. But he can't stop talking about so they have that option. But like when steve wise you obviously you know. Covers the falcons so he he's plugged on this. It wasn't just about money. It just seemed like a marriage that had run. Its course and he alan. Julio wanted out so there were there. Were kind of layers to this. My other thought like again it's a slam dunk for the titans. But when i do when you look at his contract this is final year that deal the extension signed in two thousand and nineteen. Is that correct. Yep okay so this could be if you're a titans van in your pin yourself. You can't wait to see him on the field there is a. There's a chance this is a one year rental situation too like if if he 'cause it for a wide receiver that's going to be thirty three next february if he has a huge season. I guess you you're going to hold onto him if he's kinda in between. They're in a situation where they might think okay. This isn't somebody we want to do. More business with and you either move on or maybe tagging trade. I don't know. But i think there is to me. Like a coin. Flip chance that he's a one year tight. I think that's in player to it's possible. E even that possibility. I think is worth the risk. And the reasons why i think trading for these veterans is is a different way to team build that i think is still undervalued in today's nfl. Because the titans weren't the only team that could have done it. The ravens could have found a way the patriots could found a way. They reportedly just didn't wanna pay the money The forty niners could have found a way if they want. And i think there's this idea on draft day that these picks aren't that valuable teams are just give up whatever. Whatever for these picks when it's for a rookie but when it gets into the offseason they go crazy. I you know i tweeted about the jets. How they traded two-thirds to move up nine spots for allies. Avera tucker jets fans got it twisted that i was picking on them. He just was like the latest. In example i was thinking of using devante which the broncos traded a fourth to move up five spots in the second round or you could use the eagles who traded a third to the cowboys to move up two spots in the first round. You could go a million different examples..

"Appreciate it. And then i guess i guess producer. Steve here is like which steelers defensive lineman See like the cam heyward of this. Podcast he is the is the cam heyward. I don't know. I don't know all right. Let's not let's not do the steelers and bringer runner employees matchless. They're one of the things i like about you danny and there are many of them That you have more notes normally than you have thin questions that are asked to you. What is the number one thing in your notes right now that you wanna talk about that. I haven't asked about. There's two things. Where is julio jones in the greatest receivers of all time. Because i have been thinking about no seriously. He has the most receiving yards through ten years of every receivers jerry. Rice josh good piece of fivethirtyeight this week that basically said when julio's healthy he's still top five receiver. I'm not saying it's the radio wall street or anything like that. I'm not trying to say. Julio as a person seems a very little in common moss. I i'm not saying it's gonna break receiving record but it does feel important to say that. Just because julio jones has been a falcon and somewhat irrelevant from a team standpoint for a long time this is like an all time. Great being traded at the very tail end of his prime. I don't wanna just jump over that. I agree with that. I also think that when he talked about how irrelevant. they are from a football standpoint. I agree with that but every time something like this happens i just think about the how much of a what if the falcons super bowl was true right. Believable there've been. It's lens lid that you know. There have been people who've speculated that the patriots maybe move on from or try to start a succession plan for brady earlier if that doesn't happen I mean there's the butterfly effect of what happens if the patriots don't blow Twenty five point lead It's just really. It's really kind of incredible. And i feel bad for falcons fans 'cause this is like that scabby ripped off again. It's like you think discards issues been healed kyle pits and then you rip it off again because this is. This is the best player in team history and like that's fricking brutal. When you trade the best player in team history for a second rounder. And i know that the falcons should not be held to the coles. Because it's the same. Compensation mohamed sanu. Obviously they got a good deal from hamas. But that's always how we're going to remember it is who was traded for the same hall. They got from mohamed. Sanu because of money quite frankly that's never an excuse in football fans will never care. Well you know. We need cap space. We traded the best player in franchise history. And you know. Maybe he'll twelve hundred dollars for the titans this year. That's a calamity. Do you think this trade is overshadow much under ninety our job at bethpage black. It was to eighty nine. I will give you that. It was a downhill but it was to eighty nine. I just i feel like that wasn't dominate. The news cycle at the end And now fish trade really just kinda muddies the waters there will take away from the drive. Was that it was two seventy five. The last time we played. And then i said can you do it and then you did. I'm gaining bulk. As the summer goes along is lifting. Is it boxes i. I don't i don't talk about about my competitive advantage. So in one year's time we're doing the one year anniversary of his podcast. What is the take on straight. Julio and aj brown were really fun together and it was an absolute gift. We got to watch that happen. And the falcons probably wished that kyle pits had watched you know maybe maybe the falcons could have been like. Hey cal pits want to just watch him. Julio jones works for your the greatest professional of any receiver like you know we watch his work habits and chill for year. Maybe they should've let that happen. But instead hey we are the winners we got to watch. Aj brown allegiance play together and have a ton of fun. Here's here's here's my take on this. I think that julio poise eleven games he has two games are just awesome when we pull this up here. Sorry steve first of all the first preseason game. i'm sure who they will not play in it. As against the atlanta falcons which. I kind of like he plays at seattle. The falcon the titans. Play at seattle on september nineteenth. Another team. that wanted to. Yeah and i think that that is the game..

"Julio Jones. So it's started a pick up last week the conversations around the league and let us spoken to many teams in both e A. F. C and the NFC who have shown interest In the 32 year old receiver. So where we at now? Well, there have been conversations with a team about trading for a potential future first round draft pick for Julio Jones now The sense of getting ash is that this could happen in early June and kind, of course possibly take more time. But the sense of urgency is really starting to pick up over the last 24 hours, so we could see some action. Perhaps a movement of Julio Jones come next week. Sources told Diana that on Thursday, the Falcons have an offer on the table. They future first round draft pick in Atlanta in exchange is asking teams for a future first round draft pick Well, Dan also reported that Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been in touch with Julio Jones having phone calls about this possibility of playing together at some point in 2021. Well, here's the interesting thing. If they're so adamant about a first round pick. Ah, future first rounder. Seattle doesn't really make a whole ton of sense because they don't have a first round pick in 2022. They sent that to the Jets in exchange for safety Jamal Adam's last year in the summertime. So I wonder. Is it a different team she's talking about, or is the offer? Just gonna have to change if if that's really where they want to send him. Well, look, I I know that Russell Wilson isn't happy so that Courtney, I think is some of where their starts because they're trying to make moves to make their franchise quarterback happy. But if I'm not mistaken, what Russell Wilson said earlier in the off season I agree with this is that they just haven't blocked well enough in front of them. I already have. DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and that's a really good receivers on that team already do. I think Julio will help? Sure, but I don't think they're Julio Jones away from winning the Super Bowl in Seattle. And like you said, I think now what's happening? Courtney is a couple days before June 1st. And there some teams trying to get some information out there the Falcons to try to drive up the price for Julio Jones. They're trying to set up some kind of bidding war. So do I think the Seahawks are the leaders in the proverbial clubhouse for Julio, I'm not so sure about that. Just think Atlanta is trying to do everything they can to get as much as they can, because they know Julio is a couple good years left, and he's definitely not gonna be in Atlanta. He's 32 years old. He is coming off an injury riddled season. He's still one of the top receivers in the game, which I Think with the ask of a future first rounder is a little much, especially at this point of his career. But clearly he's viewed as one of the top pass catchers in the NFL. Which is why you can command something like that now. Well, they should get it. We'll see. But Maura Importantly, here with the post June one designation for the Falcons is the fact that that dead money for those wondering why is June one so important? What you can split up that dead money between this season and next, So wouldn't be this massive charge Uhm against the cap in 2021 when he has cap it's for 23.5 million this year and the next year's 19 point. 263 in 2022 2023. You'll get some financial relief there, but also You have to factor in that base salary. He has $15.3 million in 2021. It's all fully guaranteed. So any team that you're asking for a first round pick from you're all saying? Well, you have to incur this massive salary, so to me, you might get Future first rounder in exchange for that, But you're gonna be taking on so much more that salary in exchange for the it's. It's kind of like which your way in the cost benefit analysis here of a future first rounder, which would you rather be spending the money on and I get if you're Terry Font know the new GM of the Atlanta Falcons. You're trying to build something there that weighing that future draft capital in terms of the currency of it. Might be worth taking on more of Julio Jones salary, but that still is a very hefty price to pay When your team that decided it didn't want to take a quarterback it for it. Want to roll the dice again with Matt Ryan, and it went ended up taking Kyle pits the first Skill position player to be taken in the draft. So you're saying at that point after you had said that you'd feel calls for Julio Jones that you think that you could have a top five offense, theoretically, with Jones, Calvin Ridley Kyle pits hated Hearst. I mean, you'd be throwing Ah lot. At the wall and hoping it sticks And now with Julio Jones very much out of there. You cannot convince me he will be going back to Atlanta after those comments came out for sure. Don't it kind of feels like you take a step back there and is your building towards the future? Still kind of feels like you're back at the drawing board figuring out well, which direction are we actually going? I agree. I don't know what the Falcons air you know. Are they a win now team do they think they can win the Super Bowl this year or or not? Uh, I'm just kind of the belief Courtney that I don't know if any team is really a receiver away from winning the Super Bowl, you know, like I thought about Baltimore for Julio Jones, a team Like that seems to make a lot of sense to me their reports out that the Ravens aren't all that interested again. That could just be posturing. That's a team to me that like they've got all the pieces in place. Except for maybe that big play guy to stretch the field to really make a push and try to win it this year. I just think the Seahawks if you watch that playoff game against the Rams that they lost They are so broken in so many different areas and yes, they have a great franchise quarterback and that immediately makes them a Super Bowl contender. I don't think they're good enough in the trenches. I don't think they're good enough on the two lines of scrimmage to be able to win the most difficult division in football and to be able to advance in the playoffs. Last time I checked Julio Jones that block anybody, and last time I checked, Julio Jones doesn't really tackle anybody. And I think those are the two areas right now. Where if you're the Seahawks? You really have to get better. You were talking about this June 1st thing. I just want to mention here to also Courtney that it's not just Julio Jones. One of the reasons the Aaron Rodgers situation has not gone anywhere yet is because they were never going to trade him before the first of June for the salary cap reasons that you explained So the first domino here that's probably gonna fall after June 1st his Julio Jones, but I think you also now starting this week have to keep your eye on what's gonna happen with the Packers and Aaron Rodgers, right? Yeah, And it's something we will definitely be keeping our eye on here on game that will get back into that subject later in the show. Quick Score update for you in the Eastern Conference round, one serious Brooklyn leading the Boston Celtics won 21 1. Oh to that game was close. In the beginning. Boston jumped out to an early lead, but Brooklyn, as has happened in every other game, this Syriza running away with this eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, But as it pertains to Julio Jones in the future, I think that they're a lot of teams out there..

"Dale chance. Today I have guessed I have. Julio a WHO I did a panel with it to this year and now we can't get rid of each other just really excited to have a bond here and hey Julio how you doing tonight all right and yourself how you doing rob. I'm doing great man so all right this is it. Tell people about yourself. Give Him your background. Talk about what you do. Sweet Yeah My name is Julio Garra I am one third of the horrid winning guerrilla publishing based on the Northwest Indiana. We do our turn it of comics so to speak so not they were anti superhero. We just don't cater to that kind of crowd We do dark comedy I'm how can I say like love letters to eighties cartoons Social Justice Issue Comics. Just things outside of the norm so we have action horror. Humor Anything that you look for that. Not a comic book. That is stereotype. The Comic Book and That's what we do. Grill does a pretty good description of we actually had been Miller on here and we were talking a lot about guerrilla so hopefully people listening are a little bit more familiar with it but your stuff is just so cool and getting the panel with you sitting. There just had so much fun. You're such a cool guy. He got so much. Great stuff going on your works. Awesome to man so you so much really thrilled to have you on here now. Have you got a specific book? You're working on currently so yes so currently There's actually two things that I'm working on Or three I should say. I just finished up Illustrate for a upcoming Lucia chapter book with Alexa. Lex Graphic Press So I just finished that literally just finished. It submitted it and everything And ready for print at the moment It's basically GONNA be A series and it's GONNA be different New Orleans so you're going to first start off with Lucia Lucia for And find his rise to become Ludar. Then they're going to do like a referee and a ring announcer and a promoters. So you get to learn the different aspects of the the wrestling business The other thing I'm working on right now is the follow up tails to the cryptic closet Which is a horror anthology that we produced In October of last year or released in October last year with cryptic closet. Which is the horror whore and parody apparel based on his Chicago We have wwe superstar killer cross on it and he's going to return for the second one so you got the exclusive for that because we haven't announced it yet. Oh we so We're working on that right now and the third thing Which is really near and dear to my heart which is not saying. The other projects aren't with this last one that I'm talking about is I'm doing commissions And of course like every artists is doing commissions but this is called commissions for a cause and I'm doing a fifty fifty thing on these commissions. I'm not seeing any of the Prophet. I'm not seeing any of the money. However fifty percent of the commission price goes some my local condom bookstore Which is creative comics in Griffith Indiana and the other fifty percent goes to Northwest Indiana cancer? Kids which is a big Organization that I support really believe in In what they're doing with you know unfortunately cancer kids and especially with the pandemic and everything We talk about the elderly and stuff like that but we don't really pay attention to the sick especially the you know like people with cancer and especially the the kids with cancer so trying to help out with that. Doing some sketch covers or forty dollars. do a head sketch on them. So that's the third thing the real thing now like pushing at the moment. Wow so a hundred percent goes to these to charities. Then yeah basically you get you. Get an artwork. You get a one of a kind cover with the comic and you help out a local business and organization a medical organization. So it's like you're basically knocking two birds with one stone and you get something in return for that. His amazing man that is really amazing And I love that. You're helping on a comic store because that is something that we've talked about on this show with other Artists that are like it's it's tough times and we've been kind of brainstorming and as we go along waterways you can help with. This is one that maybe other artists could get involved with this This COMMISSIONS. For our cause so this is really really cool. We'll definitely put links are shown on and I'll definitely promote this on the facebook page. Because this is this is an exceptional use of your talents. I love it. I appreciate thank you. Yeah man so okay. Let's get into some fluff now that you know you've got us all serious. This is your dream. Khan who are you most excited to meet all dream CON Will Eisner that'd be your guy. Yeah we'll I fortunately got to meet Stanley and Frank Miller Who would also sue With all in all honesty I don't think comics would have came into my life My uncle was a big my got me into comic book. He was there when marvel was hitting its peak and he off and then when Frank Miller dropped dark knight and eighty four and I was born in eighty four. He was just like dove back in so I was fortunate to meet the two guys who got my uncle into it. Who brought in my life. But we'll Eisner I would say 'cause he's the one who basically mentor and Frank Miller and might Mongolia are like my my inspiration. Those guys I try to. I WanNa Mimic them so much. Wit like the the use of absolute blacks and mood and stuff like that so yeah he would be the one. He's he's the one that I'm missing your man. It's it's funny because when I think about your work I can totally see how you're inspired by Eisner and by Frank Miller. I totally see it. Thanks yeah I don't. I don't know if that if they would like that I'm sure they would. I'm sure they would your arts fantastic and it's always such a compliment especially if you can see where what you've done has inspired somebody else. It's huge compliment. So so with all these cons canceling. Everything's postponed right now. What do you think is the best way to support creators during this pandemic And it back then. It's kind of weird because we we came so far in technology so this is basically a blessing I would say especially for created Because we have like store envy and different websites and Oetzi and Ebay and all that stuff and a lot of other creators are actually using these outlets now like instagram and facebook and the different social media. I would say To support craters like share the post Buy something off of that because more than likely it's going directly to them if they're not doing you know like Hey. I'm doing for my shop or I'm GonNa do this No Jim Leaves doing what the auction on Ebay. And it's their goals. Wherever you want to go so stuff like that know ed scenes a big thing and I know a lot of people are like. Oh it's a soccer mom type.
