Yeah this whole theme of celebrities with these docu series. I think i just really enjoy it. I feel like it's a completely different look into their lives. And for anybody who didn't see there was a roughly three minute trailer released for her docu series called dancing with the devil is going to be a four part series premiering on march twenty third and in it. I mean this. This trailer was seriously packed. We saw so many different things and of course a lot of it was centered around her overdose and how she really almost died. There's this one part where she says. My doctor said that. I had five to ten more minutes. Had a lot of lives. Like my cat on my ninth life talking about how she had three strokes she had a heart attack and kinda just the level of severity that that overdose caused her and how she really was on the brink of death. And i know we know it. I know we've heard her make statements on it but watching us it was additionally powerful and i am so like deeply invested in her story. I can't even explain
Top 10 Team Success Secrets Revealed
"So Julie, we are talking about team-building and we were we pick this back up last week and the essence of our philosophy on teams is were being a succinct about it as possible. We are absolute Advocates of building teams, but we're Advocates of building teams that are designed not profitable from the onset not hoping and praying that there's profit left over after the transactions are you know have fluid through exactly. So last week we talked about the things that our team eroding Team Dodge straying making teams fail and we didn't want to keep it all that negative. But some of those things are obvious some of them are underlying until you discover them. So we went over all ten points that are a destructive and now we're going to talk about successful teams what actually makes for a successful team. So I'm going to jump right in if that's absolutely okay. So number one maintaining the magic number of lists wage. All times so successful teams maintain the magic number of listings at all times and know how to replace listings as they sell in a predictable duplicatable way lead generation is proactive prospecting based and marketing enhanced a lot to that one point your team me up for the real estate treasure map. I am indeed. And so what this says guys when she talks about the magic number, it's simply a formula that we both know created basically years ago and lived for years and lived for years. Right when we sold real estate cuz it's love you guys know Julie and I were selling between 100 and 200 houses per year for about ten years old over a hundred houses our first year in business in the early twenties. And so the real estate magic number is simply the number of listings you needed all times do meet or exceed your financial, you know, your goals your expectations your obligations, your commitments, the real estate magic number is not complicated to figure out but it is critical that you understand the concept because it's going to save you from a lot of the pitfalls that frankly ruin agents businesses and their potential reality. We want to give you the real estate magic number. Yep. To give you the real estate treasure map the real estate treasure map the essence of the treasure map the essence of what the treasure map is, it's our fill in the blank business and personal life plan. Its you got a business plan but really truly is a life plan and when you complete this the output is going to be a lot of important numbers the most important of which is knowing the number of listings you need at all times to meet or exceed your financial goals and expectations. So what I want you to understand is that you're going to most likely fall behind your actual potential if you get too distracted from anything other than focusing on the magic number of listings you need at all times. So you should receive this and it is free. You can buy this on the on Amazon, but I want to just give you this book. Okay, it's called The Real Estate treasure map. Just text 20-21 855-685-1055 text 2021 to 85685 10:45. And when you do we're going to text you back a link to not just the treasure map, but also a lot of other great books, including your 12 monthly generation guide and thinking Rich for Real Estate, which is an iteration of Napoleon Hill's great book Think and Grow Rich. Yes only it is practical and tactical translating how you actually use what you read in Think and Grow Rich. So let's say this point just for a second because when I have or you have an agent who's considering joining a team one of the first questions I asked if they've identified a team that they might want to join is does that team actually get listings? Because if they have no listings or very few listings or they're not, you know, established as a really Kick-Ass listing team. You should keep looking absolutely because they're not going to have enough for you but that goes actual circles back around to the you know, free previous points. We made by why teams failed. Yes. The biggest reasons is cuz there are all predicated on buying leads right teams will fail and you'll always fail if your business is dependent on being passive and bring your business. Nothing more to say might drop in K, but I want you to think about this guy's it's a very interesting concept Julie and I teach you to be proactively lead-generating first and and then based off. Want to look at marketing, right? There's proactively generation. There's passively generation or there's proactive marketing and there's passive marketing. Julie and I are always going to tell you to be proactive marketers and Lead generators first. And then if you choose not to be passive, then you can choose to be passive after you've mastered the Art and Science of being a proactively generator. I know that just sounds like I'm playing with words but it really is critically important and here's the essence of why it's important in listen to them. And if you've been in real estate for any amount of time you're going to end you're going to say hallelujah when I'm done saying this ready many of you are being taught incorrectly really bad business techniques where you're supposed to basically by your business and buying businesses in the literal sense from like over paying a referral fees, but it's also from social networking from branding any of those types of passive activities that are absolutely need that guy's of every real estate, you know, evangelist nowadays. They're all going to tell you work on your brand. They're all going to tell you to buy leads or all going to tell you clever Facebook ads and Instagram videos and hell even Clubhouse write them off. Always looking for ways to generate leads passively but here's the ultimate fallacy in that. It's unpredictable. You cannot predict when you're going to get something from the passive be we know that they digital generated off essentially internet generated at or I'm sorry leads are the worst quality leads that you can possibly get oftentimes. No better than just going to an old-school phone book and ripping out like ten pages and having an calling those leads the leads you get from online lead-generation our garbage and you guys know that not that people I'm not saying that I'm talking about lead quality. So be very clear about that. If your goal is to generate a bunch of leads that might someday hopefully within typically it's eighteen months three to four percent will actually transact. There's no guarantee. They're going to transact with you again. Does anyone think about this or tell you the truth about all this? No, they do not why cuz they're trying to sell Young Generation. But the biggest reason why we want you to be proactively generators is because this great analogy that actually are heard which I wish I would have thought of cuz it explains it so succinctly you're going to build a mansion. Yep. Engine is going to be your future. The manager is going to be represent the future of your family maybe but it's a literal Mansion right? It's your financial future. It's your potential reality going forward.

Um, you know, not not that long ago. I don't know 5 10 years ago. Maybe that if you said today I mean, we're we're so much in the midst of the cancel culture. That It's you know, it's Heightened. If you're a talk show host in particular to certainly heightens your awareness. Well, that came after the Janet Jackson Justin Timberlake. You think that was the genesis of all this? Well, that's when everybody went to delay right? I mean, that was kind of when radio we don't have a delay on the morning show for a long time till that happens. How long you guys headed away since that happened? We've always had a delay here because different on talk radio, but we should have added delay. Well, we didn't know we did until that happened and then they made everybody get a delay. That's when our company went to a one strike. You're out policy. Right after Janet Jackson. If you had one FCC violation, they would fire you. On that got a lot of people's attention that did change Radio, at least from morning radio. I know those at the Super Bowl. What year was that? Super Bowl played 2001 or 2000? Maybe it was like 20 years ago. Many did change the morning radio game. And that's when Howard Stern all one, all one was the Whitney Houston 2004 or Yeah, it's turned got out. I believe that year. Because he would have been fined over and over and over again and This case just didn't want to deal with it anymore, turned out to be a really good thing for him. It. Was he making 100 year? Hmm? Up and down the coast. Some of the best players in L. A. And there's a lot of good ones. Not bad. Don't go up there and play some some beach basketball and you better be damn good. "He's taken it to the next level. He's winning games. Ah, he's put an exclamation point on, you know, on the game itself. Ah, we can work out its It's really I think for Buffalo fans in the organization, it's what you've been waiting to see. And you've got that. Um mean His time is now and I think it's gonna be for for quite a while. Quite a while. And I think Josh Allen will be the new Tom Brady. Ah, you know, at some point, he will be Will be running the division Brett favor Okay. He had me up until Josh Allen will be the new Tom Brady. He had me up until then. Allen's good The Bills Air Good Allen's make. It's a great throws. He's mobile big arm. He's a good leader right now. But I can't believe he would utter the name Tom Brady with a Josh Freaking, Alan and Look If you're just going to say the bills are right now the dominant force of the A F C East and they should have control over the division for a little bit here. That's fine. I can get on board with that. By the way, they haven't done that yet. Okay? They have not won the division yet there a month into the season. And I don't think Josh Ellen has ever beaten the Patriots yet. Okay, so even saying right now that the bills are a sure shot toe win the Aves East is a little bit of a lark, because if Cam Newton comes back And he's healthy the rest of the way. The Patriots looked every bit good enough to at least contend for the division. I don't think the bills are going to run in the height of the AIDS the East if Cam Newton's under center So even saying already. Oh, the bills were definitely winning this year's a F C East and will for a while. Is a little bit of a leap for me, okay? But to say he's going to dominate the division like Tom and I'm assuming he only means dominate the apes. He east like Tom Brady not have Tom Brady's career. It wasn't exactly clear from Brett Farve. I can only hope it's dominate the division. Look, we all upright far. To Tom Brady basically won the apes he east for two decades. Essentially Tom Brady won the apes he used every year from 2001 until 2019. You let that sink in? There were two years in that span that they did not win the division to and one of those years. Tom Brady was injured in week one. To Tom Brady over the course of nearly 20 years. I believe that's 19 seasons won the division 18 times. Tom Brady. I believe in 19 seasons between 01 in 2019 won the division 18 times. The only time he did it was owe to the year after they won their first Super Bowl. The only other time that it didn't happen was 08 when he was injured in a week number one. I mean, if you want to say Josh Alan's gonna win the next five, HC East's Even that would be a little bit of a stretch because we have no idea what to is going to look like And hell. It's still the Patriots. It's still Belichick. Okay? You want to toss the Jets out? They're not going to in the eighties. For the next five years. I'll buy that. But then saying the bills will win the division for the next 10 years. Okay, That's impossible. That's not going to happen. I would put all of my money right now. My for one K empty it my mortgage payments. Everything goes right down right now. The bills will not win the next 10, AMC East's And then you want to say the next 20. I don't even know what to say at that point. I mean, how farmer As would you go to say the bills have control over the division until this this is how dominant they'll be in this division. How far would you be willing to go? I tell next year because, like you said, Everybody was in tank for two a mode before his injury and I have major questions about him. But he's still in that division and they still a Brian Flores who we like, and we've never had that conversation with Tom Brady, where you're thinking, Okay, well, this thing could really compete for division. So it's It's s a nine to look anywhere past this year to say they will definitely win the division. And I need somebody somebody you want to days ago. Told you the bills might be the second best team in the FC. But that's how stupid it is to go down that route. And let me also just hear this report. Far. I've noticed this a lot. It's really become a crutch, and we get sucked into doing it as well. Not everything has to be a damn company. Right. You're watching these baseball playoffs or last night, the NHL draft. Everything's a damn comp. Just because Josh Alan, I was rolling around in the A F. C East, and the Bills look like they have a franchise quarterback doesn't mean we have the cup him to Tom Brady and what happens with dominance in the East. Why does everything have to come down to that? Its okay. You play here, and this guy was great. So now you're this guy. It's ridiculous. It's almost lazy and stupid. Josh Alan now is going to be calm. Brady. The next 15 years would be nuts. And it would be fine of this is just another blow, hard talking head, but this is a Hall of Fame quarterback. This is one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. He's saying about a quarterback Josh Allen. I mean, can we let the Bills win one division? This is the thing if the Bills win this year's division You know, there's a big week 16 game win and in situation they take advantage of it. If you know Josh Allen comes up with a huge plague, big two minute drill in the divisional round or, you know, he goes to Fox Rohan and throws for 3 53 touchdowns. Okay. Now we have some evidence that Josh Allen of the Bills can win a division and they do it next year is well or the year following. You're like this is the best team in the division. They've proven it year after year. I could see them doing this year after year, but For four games into the first time in their lives that they're better than the Patriots, therefore, games in to say that they are now the train that you can't stop and the Josh Allen's Comparable to the greatest quarterback, our Julie ever This coming from one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. I mean, let's just slow the roll. Let's say right now, the bills of the best E with the ABC East and they are and Let's say that Josh is the best quarterback of the age, the East and he is And let's just say, and let's see if they can hold on to the division this year and let's reassess next year and say, Can they do it again? And let's get a few more years into this before we believe that This is going to get 20 year run. And where's the warm bosom? The warm bosom you referenced about Tom Brady, leaving now also to be the next Tom Brady Doesn't Sean McDermott have to be somewhere close to fill Bella check to have the kind of dominance as well. I mean, it's a good chance. Josh Alan goes through three head coaches in Buffalo. I like maybe that's true. I.

So that was a pre-recorded conversation that I had with Justin a couple of months ago and I have to tell you all that job. 10 meant every word of what he said and that guy is a genuine straightforward lovely man. I'll continue that conversation with Justin a little later on after we get off salts back to the grand finale. So after showing what the viewers had chosen as their five worst auditions funnily enough one of my friends Stevie kids had actually written a song that was voted the worst audition of all time Jennifer in Chicago sang his composition of Genie in a Bottle. I'll tell you that because you might not recognize it and I'm pretty sure Stevie won't Bear with me a price to pay a Genie in a Bottle gotta rub me the right way if you want Jennifer has a new word. That was extraordinary. Thank you. Unfortunately extraordinarily bad. Sorry Stevie. I know you won't thank me for playing that now Brian Dunkleman was backstage with Kelly Clarkson off in the makeup room, and we did a video link to her old high school in Burleson, Texas. She was delighted to see over a thousand screaming fans along with a number of her old friends in the high school's gymnasium. One of her friends was a little cheeky and said come home as the American Idol or don't come home at all. Well, unless you've been living on another planet for the last eighteen Years, you'll know that Kelly managed to go home. So no worries there. In throwing to a commercial break dunkelman came out with the memorable line stay with us. The intensity here is only getting intense, ur place right after another video package of the top 30 being cold down to a top ten all good padding for a two hour show. Ryan was now standing by what's known as the craft table which was covered with snacks fruit cookies cheese and a lot of Coca-Cola. He was chatting to an extremely relaxed Justin Guarini who was eating strawberries. Ryan pointed to a nearby television Monitor and introduced Justin to his old high school in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Again, there was over a thousand screaming girls waving banners and jumping up down. Both are finalists were receiving the full support of their communities and justly so the next Montage we saw was the top five singles from Simon and this outstanding piece of advice offered to Julie in Seattle was voted the best in taking singing lessons very few. Who's your teacher? There? Was this lady up in Montana. Do you have a lawyer? No, I don't have a lawyer get a lawyer and Sue. I don't know if Julie ever took that advice life, but I know Simon meant it in a benevolent compassionate sympathetic way. Yeah, right. Okay. The next video package was the top tens story now, we just about drained The Well of all our recorded materials all that we had left now was the previous night's performance and the Ford Focus commercial to fall back on. The Ford commercial had Justin and Kelly dressed as Formula One drivers. They walked to their individual cars put on their crash helmets and waited for the checkered flag. Them as they roared off together. Kenny had put all of these commercials together every week. And this one looked very special. I thought and was shot brilliantly. It was obviously off of operation that James mangled needed to shoot Ford vs Ferrari. Well, that was the padding over one hour of just playbacks and indain chatter time for the curtain to go up and the live performance package to begin as Ryan and Brian entered the stage. The theater erupted the audience had sat there for over 90 minutes watching giant video screens, but were now about to see the live performances. It was just about now that I realized the local anesthetic had worn off and the pain in my neck had returned the call back tones shot had done no good whatsoever still as the top ten began the evenings performance with the sixties medley. The pain was forgotten as I danced around saying it.

"I guess pottery throwdown I didn't watch a lot of stuff I actually like really liked to this week. So, throwdown I guess wins my week in TB yeah. Elementary wins by waking TV the end of Ellen like it's just so fun to Rewatch in know that I can like because I know they don't miss that might like there's some things about season one elementary that are not great like the way too much the way too high prominence of the perpetrators in the violence against the people who end up the bobbies as the victims on the show There's some flourishes like that in the first season that are not great. But knowing that they never try to hook up Joan and sherlock knowing like how like some of the choices that the show is going to make and that I know that the show runners for the most part as far as I'm concerned made the right choices at each fork. Their priorities in what they wanted to say about the character in you know about these this property and everything makes it so much easier to just relax into that familiar rhythm of the shock homes character and my favorite interpretation of the character and my favorite interpretation of of Watson and and these other beats while still having the same you know. You're. All you're all the cop shows are problematic elements. Absolutely. That's still absolutely there there's just a just a fun in an energy to this particular take Angela of a have really enjoyed revisiting. So yeah, also the vow, but I didn't like this episode of the vowels much as the everyone's and you know, Y-. There are other things that I watched but yeah, I'm giving it to elementary. Now. We'll take a break, listen to a trailer and come back to talk about Julie and the phantoms will be back after this. Last performance Julie. Ever since mom died, everyone's been waiting for me to snap. Senior. Sorry Well. Now. Are you in? Student three goes and we're really happy to be home. Just. Maybe just a test a twinge of nervousness would be probably a better description that this too was a role about a nanny and somebody who cares you for a group of children and that the musical of the that I'd seen on Broadway of the sound of Music Zik much as the music itself was glorious. I worried that the story might be just a Tad Saccharin In terms of all the themes involved in that story him you know the countryside them Alps the nuns. The kids added to the music. The and it's a love story and it also has stories about the war is looming and I just hoped that if I why did I mean I wanted to accept it and was advised of course to accept it and that I could make it as stringent as possible to to it kind of not wallow in the more Syrupy Aso's sweet aspects and make it real real story and I think doc happily Robert Wise Director and obviously lovely Christopher plummer helped so much and felt exactly the same way. Now during those films you are Raising Ama- Emma is a baby girl and you feel. Your marriage is slipping away. What was happening? Oh it too much probably so much work so much time away from Tony and such lock preoccupying both of us. Because Tony's career had blossomed as well well as mine and he was not only all over America back in England and he just exploded in his own way into the world of of art and design. I mean we'd been friends for great many years so it it. It first seemed very simple. That being apart from time to time was pretty normal but then it did take its toll. Alas and eventually we. I don't know one of the most sad days of my life was when Tony and I divorced but felt necessary and it wasn't because at that time there was anybody else in the running. It was just something that seemed right at the time. So at the recommendation of your friend might nichols else. You Start Psycho analysis. What was that like for you? Mother was a better mother wife to Blake understood so so much more about my own family and my my own upbringing and put a lot him perspective and and provided a lot of compassion. To now I have to tell you that. The favorite all time desserts that I make in this be in English trifle. Okay you to tell the story of getting into Mike Nichols Old Rolls Royce with my life with your trifle. This is hysterical. Well didn't feel so hysterical. At the time I was mortified. I I knew that my liked trifle and that we were going to spend an evening together as friends we'd worked together and he was a great friend and I think we'd seen a film together or something like that and we were going to have suffer so I made Trifu Food and took it very carefully into the car Rolls Royce and his brand new Rolls Royce needed to say and and there we We took off and I showed in the trifle and said this is related and he suddenly braked the car. "At Dot com slash starting the brews out and a wildcard in the books the nats are moving on to face the doors and we have the Ale wildcard game on Wednesday night. Dow's Brayden the Oakland A.'s once again in the wildcard game because I feel like that's going to be. That's going to be a thing you guys are. GonNa have to deal with for a little while now the astros I feel like they're not going away so if the as hoped to contend in October they're gonna get to know the as in the wild card game but Sean Mnaya. That's a really cool fucking story that this guy has not only come back he's actually pitched really well down the stretch for the as and and now he's getting the ball in the Al Wildcard Game Dallas. What are we looking for. What are we expecting to see in the AL L. Wildcard game on Wednesday night. Well what you can expect to see in my opinion. If things go well kind of like things were going for the brewers you could probably expect to see a trio of lefties come in and do work against a left handed lineup in Tampa Bay and I'm talking about Sean mcvay. Aj puck in haste loose Lazaro L. Pearl Jam and Puck Nasty and the baby giraffe so for Short Mnaya as as as you said he's come back from shoulder surgery pitch berry well since then. It's it's almost like getting a guy in midseason that midseason acquisition that shot in the arm he's healthy he feels good and he's pitching pitching with competence and with what the two youngsters have done they have alleviated a ton of pressure on some other guys and I think mainly Liam Hendriks because maybe it's not a case where you're thinking about going to Liam for six outs like the brewers fell they might have had to or wanted to do with Josh eight or Josh. Twenty three outings four outs or more this season so for for the Oakland A.'s ace and Sean Mnaya if you can get five innings. I think that's a great start. That's a great place to be. You'd love to get six six. You'd love to get six but five innings gives you to one and one and that's all that's all. You'll need if you have the league if things are shaking out the way you want them to write J. What are you getting your get Nancy. I got an I got a question for you about MNAYA. Let's I I'm sure what I'm about to say. You're already perfectly aware of. You probably set it on broadcasts. I try to listen. I don't listen to everything you say obviously lease missing a lot more bats small sample one month but a lot more bats than it used to and I looked at his pitch types and it looks like he's drastically Rastogi reduced the amount of change that is throwing from thirty last year according to Brooks Baseball thirty percent last year to fifteen fifteen percent last year and that's been divided up into way more slider usage and a little bit more fastball usage. Is that accurate curate as you see it and I mean I'm assuming it's intentional right well. Obviously you're starting to see you're you're drawing a correlation relation with swing and miss and a pitch mix as opposed to maybe a little more pitching to contact with the change range up right not not the case so so yeah. I mean and I think as guys start to like like if I'm just being completely honest with everybody. That's listening right now. Sure there's information that I could probably drop right now that I just don't need to and it simply because all it takes is a tweet. DM Anything for folks to start start to realize that this pitch is being called a certain pitch or this guy's actually really throwing these pitches and these guys and it's not like you're revealing information to the world that major league organizations don't already know but it could literally be see the difference in what's being filtered out in a search engine that starts to render certain results so you very easily. Jay have discovered that slider usage up swing and miss up fastball usage up it's kind of like we're seeing guys pitch at the top of the zone success because they're throwing their curve ball off of that with more success right so it's the same thing for Shamanee right now and again going into a wildcard game if you have the ability going into any playoff series if you have the ability to create swing and miss that's what folks are looking for in these high leverage situations because that's what sort of equals out the approach that probably changes at the plate. Come these crunch times you start to see guys. No I don't WanNa say just choked up spread out and blanket. Everybody like everybody does that but you guys really start to pay attention to what the game is giving them to what the field in front of them is presenting as opposed to that same approach they take up in. May were. They're up by five down by five in the third inning like they. You know they're just is looking to get big. That's not the case so you got some swing and miss. You got the ability to keep guys off balance. You're all for that big reason. Shaman is getting tapped. We haven't even mentioned the Tampa Bay rays. Chucky Morton is going for the Tampa Bay rays in this one. you know the table be raised. They're known for their whole bullpens thing. I don't know how much we're going to see of that in this game because Charlie Morton has been outstanding this year for Tampa. I'm sure we'll see a little bit of it would definitely not GonNa see an opener type situation. I'm sure if Kevin cash can get seven out of Morton Morten. He's GonNa take it barely Julie ever rarely. Do we ever see that. It's going to be him and snow. It's going to be him and smell. Oh yeah and that's going to be great. I'm actually really looking forward to this game. I think whatever the whatever the over under as I'm probably GONNA take the under but this is a match up of Sean Monnaie who's throwing the shit out of the ball since he came back and Charlie Morton who's been outstanding all season long long. This is I feel like this is not talked about enough because Oakland small-market. Tampa small-market payrolls not very big back at the Red Sox are paying three pitchers that are making more money combined than both of these teams so market be damned and if you're a baseball fan. This is going to be a game that you're going to want to pay attention to. I think that it's going to be a another close one like we saw tonight and might come down to the final at Bat. I don't know but I do know that we know Dallas is in as honk but I do know that there are some names on that Oakland a's team that deserve a bigger spotlight outlay that I hope get to to shine bright in in this one game perhaps if they advance to the division series you know Matt Olsen should be your household name. Matt Chapman should be a household name. These are guys that just fucking Simeon should also like a top five statistical player in the fucking league this year which is crazy crazy to me that he goes from a dumpster fire defensively to now one of the best overall performers in in the League in Twenty nineteen and you realize this dude pass Ricky Henderson for run scored and leadoff home runs in a single season or are. Are you fucking kidding me. That's the kind of season mark not trying to take away from argus season but like you know like I said before if your team didn't break the fucking and single season franchise homerun record this year than your bump your bump team all the numbers are up about personal performance and he's done it with. He's done it with average average. He's done it with the homers with the power production with a run scored like again. Those are two numbers. Obviously he's a hope right. He he just yes he he he wore so because my opinion champion only already household names. Marcus Simeon in Stockton one thousand percent they are one thousand seven household names in Stockton California on you and Oakland no doubt but a guy like Austin. Medalist is a guy that should be getting some some big time attention I'm excited for this game. I'm excited for this game. I don't know who I have. I don't know that I've made a selection and I'll look at look. If I'm being honest. Let me tell you this. I'll say this much because you're brew. The crew was dealing with similar stuff marquette. Anna little banged up came out of the game week and a half ago or so with a groin issue right. Chad pender just jammed his leg up into his pelvis. The other day in Seattle banged up Ramon Laureano banged up there guys that are not feeling great that are playing through this last portion of the season that we're all. I don't WANNA call them. You know must win games but there must win games if you want to get to the post season definitely must win. If you want to get to be the host of this postseason game so while they've withstood the tide so far also remember that not everybody's at one hundred percent right now for the green and gold olds something. They've battled all year long but but you should if you're a betting man jared J. do yourself is a favor right now. J. might have an anniversary. No you don't have an anniversary coming up anytime soon. You just got hitched. You just signed your life away but I tell you what Christmas is coming up Christmas right around the corner. So if you're looking for a little extra cash flow you put it on opened. That's what you do. Ya hammered the Greenville. Yeah I mean then we can you know we I I give a lot of shit at home too and that's how I was about to say I give him a lot of shit to his fans for not really showing up but when when the playoffs rolled around and that is not a comfortable place to play as a road player as of as of as of three o'clock today as of three PM Pacific Standard Time there were only roughly two thousand tickets left out in what is known as Mount Davis the center field upper deck section on. I've been up there. That is typically killer. That's a Dallas leads me tickets. When I COME TO OAKLAND. Just I yeah I feel like it's a computer bug glitch. We'll look into jeered spat software. I don't even think like if you have like a sniper rifle. I don't think that you like a bullet would have enough juice Houston to get to home plate from where those seats are like a high powered rifle couldn't it's. It's you know we're getting getting better. We're getting better. The point is this club is ready to get nasty. Two thousand seats left as of three PM today. Those are probably sold pulled out. The drums are going to be louder than ever. The flags will be waving as violently and as big as they ever have. You will not be able to hear yourself think okay if I'm being completely honest in the same breath that will also be a challenge for the Oakland A.'s because as much as you love to think of love to believe that environments like that favor the home team they do so if the home team is typically used to that yeah they're like what is all this noise and if we're calling these people all in a spate of Spain it is what it is the AIDS are used to games like this on opening day when they give out tickets to anybody who wants to come into the game day completely only for free and berry other few and far dates in between so if we're just being real as real can be that is also something the Oakland and as players will have to get used to because for the first time in the entire season. Almost they're going to walk out on that tomorrow or into that clubhouse tomorrow and they're gonNA see reporters. They've never seen asking them questions that they've never had to feel and then go out and go about their business so inherently their schedules or going to be thrown off. Not only is the start time going to be different but all of the theatrics all of the HOOPLA surrounding the presentation of this game is going to be different different than the as have ever dealt with so again strap under challenge at you were here last year but now it's at home and now there's there's almost bigger stakes because you feel the pressure. You're going to feel the weight of Mount Davis. You're going to feel the weight of that entire Stadium Rocket Rocket. Let's fuck go okay. Let's have some some objectivity here I actually I didn't. I didn't see this until today today but I guess last year. There was a quote from Fernando Rodney where after Luke void hit that triple or something like that he was like yeah after after he hit that ball no it was judge after the judge homer. I just knew it was over like that's crazy and tonight there was you know obviously the Juan Soto bases-loaded basis clearing hit that he had they cut to A. Cast in Hera in the dugout look on his face. It made me think of that code immediately like No..

"Seven twenty WGN. We're talking to Julianne roof from channel nine about her her previous life for previous career working for the former president whose funeral was today, and Michael Bush was the assistant press secretary, Julie you got a rare very rare one on one interview with Michael Bush over the weekend. And I so enjoyed it. Because it was so personal tell us some of the stories that he shared with you. You know, Andrea I have to tell you in the interest of full disclosure. It was really fun to talk to Michael. And it was a rare interview for the two of us to be sitting in a room together alone in the Mike rolling. Yeah. Michael Bush, believe it or not actually married. My sister shortly after the introduction. They met through the Reagan office. My sister worked for Ronald Reagan weighed in California, and Michael Bush was an intern there first and they met at that office when he was finishing up a Pepperdine, but then ended up going across the country to go work for President Bush after he left the Reagan office, right out of college within mentioned to you. This is a young man's game. And Michael it was fun to sit down, and we usually have family members of thanksgiving Turkey in front of us. Right. Get into word, but Michael, and I had a really good chat. And we're able to kind of roll down memory stroll down memory lane together. Michael's contact with the president really special. She had so much contact and interface with the president when the cameras were nearby when they were wearing suits at the White House. And also he knows private more private moments when they were at Camp, David whenever it walkers pointing Kenny bunk court Nain together because the job of an assistant press secretary, at least in Michael's particular role was to travel with the president whenever he was leaving Washington DC. So if the person had a speaking engagement in town, Michael did not go, but he would switch off with another assistant press secretary. There were two of done both males young guys who would travel with the president much like the military detail that much like the doctors, did, you know, he spent thanksgiving with the president one year up at Camp, David and along with all the other Bush who had joined them up there to watch them. Go sledding in the snow and. Having private family moments. And he said the president always made him feel like one of the Bush family members, even though his last name was Bush. Spelled right said, Michael you're holding back with that. Let's up the hill. Aides and the dot co I through the food to the food line night after they'd said grace on thanksgiving. And you know, the reality is micro say he always felt like family when he was around the president. I think that was so neat. That's why I really I'd really just enjoyed your interview. And it probably was rare for you as you say because you never get this one on one time. But when you were literally dusting off, the pictures, and you guys were going from year to year. And I I just thought it was so moving when he was telling you Julie that the president would invite them to Kenny bunk port, and it's kind of like going home for the weekend with a college. Roommate only, oh he happens to be the president of the United States. It's true. It's he happens to be dependent. What's been fun for the Bush family is that Michael has continued on serving the president in different ways. Whenever President Bush would come to town, and maybe speak to a group at mcchord. Workplace or something they call Michael who was local here and say, hey, could you help us out, you know, the president's going to get off the plane. Could you meet them, you know, could you show them around or make sure he gets wearing needs to go. Michael was always happy to do it. And he ended up doing that over the years, and then when the presidential library opened Michael has been serving on the advisory board there as well. So he's continued a relationship not only that the president with the family, and if you've been up Kenny bunkered in more recent years, I think the last time they were there was the summer of two thousand seventeen he and my sister both went up there. And, you know, the president was you know, I don't wanna say failing but on the decline, right? I mean, then he was the age of gosh ninety three. So MRs Bush was still around and things changed obviously dramatically in this last year. But it's always been a gift Michael Bush itself to to be so entrenched in their family, even as he's grown up and all that Michael's fifty one now for the president when he was in his early twenties. How does that how it was for so many people serving a president whether it is Bush or Clinton or w or Obama eight of the young man's game? And they are eager to have young blood in there because they're long hours long days. And again, it's the best work you'll ever find. So I was going to I was going end. Julie and say, would you go back, and do it would you change a thing a young Julianne Rousse nineteen twenty years old? Would you have changed the thing? Or would you do it exactly the? You did it. I think I would have loved to have seen a win in ninety. My life would have been very different, right? If we would have stayed at about knee, and that's what history road, and I wouldn't change a thing. I would recommend to anybody who get the chance to serve in politics. If that's what makes your heart beat, you know, working for someone that you admire so much if if if politics is your game, and I would say any young kid, it is a form of service to and I think that if you look at it that way, there's a lot of good work out there, and it changes over just about every four to eight years. Did you stay in DC after that? Or did you immediately then become a reporter and go to the different markets. You know, what I came back to Chicago and bounced around and was really not happy in my work because when you work in a job like that where it takes everything you've got, you know, the old adage is do you live to work or do you work to live really wanted to find a job that could sort match that? And it wasn't really very easy. I just wasn't finding my niche but in nineteen. Ninety six I ended up going out and working for CBS news, the network who was beefing up their staff back then in a presidential year to do more of the same types of things, you know, the the network would be covering the debates and the Republican convention and the democratic convention among other appearances that will relate to an election year. So I was hired back with CBS, then I put my tape together. And that's when I had took it got a job out in Topeka, Kansas. My very first television job as a reporter a humbling experience, but a necessary one eventually took me to Chicago. And I've been WGN gosh per how 'bout too long maybe close to twenty years. How twenty thought though because I started I started here radio ninety seven. And I thought I think you were right around the same time. LTV I growing up together. I love you reports. Julie. I mean, you did it. Awesome job this year with the Van Dyke trial and all your political reports. And I love watching and learning from you. So thank you always hear to kind happy to do. Thanks so much for having me so much. You are you anchoring tonight? Will we see later on the night? Yes. We'll see on the news at nine o'clock. If you hit the key is early detection. That is truly what made such a huge difference with Julie. Because I remember them saying that they could not believe that this was found so early because if it had been left alone for three to four years, Julie's diagnosis could have been extremely different. So for that, you know, we're very grateful that you know that that our outcome turned out the way that it did, and we wish you you and your family, nothing, but the very best next caller place. Good morning Julie. I was wondering if you could help with. Grow problem when you're Enron's like you and they try to all kinds of things. But yet to Dale. Members, they say that's not true, but you know that they don't like you and they do things to show that they don't like you. How do you deal with that and try to keep your marriage good when you can't help it see what they do. But your significant others doesn't see that is not true. So how do you get those things to work? Thank you and laws in laws and laws. I mean, you know, you had a great and still have a great relationship with my mother. My dad is passed on God rest his soul. You had a great relationship with your malls, right? Yeah. Yeah. But I mean, we had a little shaky ground at the very beginning. As with any relationship. I think you're gonna have ups and downs, and it's hard. It's hard when you don't have that support of your in-laws when they either, you know, don't approve of the relationship or. Listen, I, it's a, it's a tough thing Judy, and I both have been blessed with great inlaws. I don't agree with everything that her dad says every day. I mean, you don't agree with everything you dad says every day. But what we do agree on is that we will always be respectful. I will always be respectful of Julius parents and have always been since the day that I have been with Julie. I have never been disrespectful to my inlaws nor his Julie ever been disrespectful to mind. I wouldn't have accepted that and Julie wouldn't accept that. So I think that you need to figure out what the need to figure out what the issue is. Because at the end of the day, you married a man that was raised by these two people that you say don't like you..
