"The straight and narrow and don we need to find out whether or not the Mandalorian is worth watching in fact you just watched the satisfy satisfy my words are getting ahead of me yeah you just watched the the finality and now we're gonna find out if it was satisfying or not yes yes yes okay all right so Mandalorian how many episodes eight episodes episodes in the Disney plus series it's the reason why I got Disney plus landed to watch this so I would say it started out really strong this is John Fabbro his creation and it the first three episodes were like watching a mini movie in its entirety those three together we're like a movie in and of itself while I kind of went south the episodes four and five for me if I mention like a sci fi show like Stargate you know what that is yes okay so the cheesiness of a sci fi show yeah it kinda went down that road for me like the the mission of the week it went from this really great story line that involved I don't wanna spoil anything but it involved baby ota and protecting this baby ota okay okay so if the child is what they call a focus this story like have yes okay and for example so and it was so imperative that we protect this child that was the entire plot line and then all of a sudden for me it kind of went wonky unlike don't if the ultimate goal is to protect the child why you would you be doing this a BNC then they went often started doing other things like the you know it's the little mission of the week type of things in two of the episodes were kind of like that and felt almost not to the level of what we saw in the first three do you know anything about how the who made the show were like with a different directors different that's what we were Streit trying to research yesterday or whenever those episodes drops so we feel like John Fabbro had a really strong hand in the first three and then he turned it over to somebody else and that's where you get into some trouble where it's like this feels like just why are we doing this and why if the main motivation is to do is to protect the child you wouldn't be doing this there were some also some clunky dialogue that was very pedestrian you know what I mean by that like here were in this fantasy world but you're saying like like woke phrasing to do an exam yeah okay so so they're in this town that is just these people have never left this town okay yeah and they have hot and the huts do not absolutely do not have any type of a door on it they're just holes and the the woman comes around the corner to talk to the Mandalorian and she goes knock knock willow and you're like I say no because there's no don't know doors you've never seen a wooden door it's a Hyatt and you wouldn't know the phrase knock knock it was very like clearly that tells me that you were not because I kind of feel like if the story was moving along faster if it had your attention you probably wouldn't be paying attention to whether or not there were doors on the huts yes and they go knock knock another dumb phrase that they said and I know that I sound like I'm NIT picking up but it just seems not as good they said they were super you know when somebody goes the hell like instead of what the hell yeah I usually say the elf they go the hell like okay they didn't have like please stop using like world this so it's not like Battlestar Galactica where they created their own you know epithets you remember that yeah sure yeah it just seems like they were using very clunky millennium Melanie yeah Mullaney all via phrases okay so high up beside the time you get to the end and again if you guys are just joining us we're talking about dough on watching the entire series of the Mandalorian on Disney plus yeah so you get to the finale yes and does it make you want to see a you know see season two right because they just said that they are doing is down to which is no surprise absolutely yeah you know they bring back my boyfriend MC is like a Star Wars computer yeah like he knows he's like I had like they brought out this big gun he's like I had that toy I had that gun and he knows the name of the gun I mean he is like he's a computer with these things so it I think it served well to to those Star Wars fans who know all the little ins and outs I do not I do know some probably more layers right so you are saying that you don't have to be an expert to watch exactly but if you are you're going to be satisfied by them working in bringing in things that are from today world movies if I'd been lazy with some of the you know dialogue or a line in the it kind of bothers me from a costuming perspective when everybody in the village has a thing about love about don is that you were paying attention to all of the things you know that are that you know a good TV critic what well I watch I do like bad sci fi shows and I watched all mostly because Jason Momoa was in Stargate Atlantis yeah but I watched all the stargates in it room I like that cheesy quality we are lance once you get to know the cast and crew you know it really just becomes about wanting to know what happens to your favorite people right so you can put up with some like crappy dialogue costumes you know because all the same dye job on the on the costumes in this little village it was like all the same color of T. all round and I'm like oh my god that looks so cheap in bad I'm sorry any fan of doctor who from the you know the classic doctor who series yelping attention like that's bubble wrap monster is just green bubble wrap literally yeah yeah yeah but but some of the stars there's an IG robot that's really great IG eighty eight and that is becomes one of the stars of the show believe it or not you but you develop an affection for this robot and of course baby or the or the child we don't know you know exactly do you learn by the end of this experience what you are you are you child your the thing is you do learn more you don't it doesn't have a definite answer as to who that is some people speculate that it is your it is even though technically in this part of the story line Yoda has left the plant Yoda's diet essentially but we do know that iota is the actual like in the movies yeah yeah happens after but did he reincarnate into is the re growing into this baby that's that's the speculation I think that it is Yoda yeah but that's just me okay I don't know if you can that we think yeah now that's just my own you know assumption here well speaking of you know TV and movie reviews things I know this time of year people are watchin and doing all sorts of catching up on TV shows and movies I saw one of the movies that I saw over the holiday was actually just a couple days ago Judy Judy Garland holy wanna hear about this yet any did you see this movie no I don't and Judy really bugs me sorry can I a year I don't know I can't see past the drug abuse yeah everyone see she bugs you what do you mean by that every role I see her and I see here is just yeah act out on cold yet or or yes or something and I get it's my own issues yeah it's not anything she does about like what's meet me in St Louis and watch that movie no sparks the the that's fascinating though and I think you I don't know if you would like the film but the film itself deals with the last days of Judy Garland when she goes and does the times different lighting it's very very dark and sad but it's when she goes to do her the shows at the palladium in London yeah and right before she dies and it is just it does make you feel the weight of everything she was dealing with yeah up until her death but we'll talk a little bit about that and maybe what else were watching we come back right here on my talk one of seven one I took one of seven one everything they AS one taking a look at you entertainment recently overheard on Donna and Steve's mom my mom by which Donna was panicked as she read it called and said I think this.

"Was a couple movie reviews force really what is he saying he see the joker and Judy I'm moving out so very similar movies Warner wanted the joker I understand I'm going to Judy Judy Garland yeah well when combined waters of a certain age as Judy Garland would have been a big I want to see the entertainer I want to see them yeah I hear it's very good friend my science that is terrific and she's wonderful Renee Zellweger I'm sure Oscar winning performance right there I said that from the when I saw the trailer you know that's it but the joker movies not getting great reviews I know our guy Joe Neumayer he gave it five stars and I heard a couple I read a couple reviews I heard one on national public radio over the weekend and they said it amounts to nothing it's just this kind of aimless movie hi that is sort of a moral and just empty and speaking of bad reviews that that that that show which you wrote about a few weeks ago what's called the slave the slave plate yeah that god very mediocre well I guess it open less this is a very controversial play because it's you know it's the young hipster playwright and it's basically a that says all white people are racist and America's racist like all these place say a New York times of course loved it because then your times believes that all white another was yeah well I don't know they were on their use but if you read the review you could you will read the description of this play you'll think there is no way in hell I'm paying a hundred fifty Bucks to sit through this thing but then your time's up this is important it deals with the issues of racism that are tearing our country apart and yes it's offensive but maybe what we need right now the land is we white people we need to be fed when I go see that play junk can I can only take its place the New York times says the history of America began in sixteen nineteen exactly yes yeah I live two years younger trying to change that yeah that's that's one of what happened a fourteen ninety two with the pilgrims at all no no we can't know pilgrims they were terrible people they took things you know and click Christopher Columbus forget about it is a cultural imperialist you got to re write the history and remember the founding fathers were all racist and many were slave holders now we can't have them help Mr what yours to begin sixty what yeah what's the year Jr sixteen nineteen and also the most people would think the United States was formed in seventeen seventy six right yeah I've known the United States began when the first slaves arrives so I think that's the best thing to do yeah the New York times marriage actually well that's why they love this slave play which by the way Slade plays all about these people in a sex therapy group black people and white people interracial couple couples and they act out all of their sexual fantasies fantasies of being like a slave in masters relation honors yeah also like any might such as the yellows and win yeah that it once you set out on a radio I don't know but they do I mean it's a prop if you meant to be done to have the property department there please it's crazy it's just craziness and it's the kind of B. S. that The New York Times just falls all over themselves for the Daily News the post in full and they did not all couple of contest you can win some stuff here at seven twenty five is a very interesting show they're gonna have a New Jersey about Elvis Presley they're gonna include some on seen film footage Priscilla Presley we'll make a cameo so anyway that's coming up seven twenty five you win a couple tickets for that at eight twenty five we have a new thing you going to to enjoy the dollar gift certificate to P. C. Richard son so we got some stuff coming your way so why not read a couple of presidents tweets why not why not that'll get us going out to get the blood boiling alright I want to start the second one first so now there's a second whistleblower yeah he's his his tweet was very simple Democrat lawyer is same for both whistle blowers all support bombing crooked Hillary witch hunts well I have three things to say deland deep state could a TA and which aren't that's what's going on here those three things that's half seems a little coordinated does not absolutely absolutely these I mean what about these whistle blowers were in a position now where anybody can come forward and they don't have to real the reveal their identity you know what they want hot outside whistleblower law how do we know that how do we know what they're saying is true you investigated what's wrong with you Michael that's why they're called whistle blower high you know no I was so prosaic it's not why are you yelling they'll not be else you so idiotic no without blowing no whistle blower is going to come forward if you're gonna blow is identity from that is not a whistle blower has a right to face his accusers and I do believe there is something to the deep state they cannot stand this man and they'll do whatever they can to try to take him down three things line okay witch hunt deep state and could I tell those are the only three things you have to know that with your what's what's the order that which is number one could attack NATO's number by the way this is another C. I. A. operatic no question about it well if you're fine with that if I was at route all Duggar behind seems true it's true value on investigating the CIA doesn't have any jurisdiction in the United States Joe's unbelievable as me no one has told you yeah I mean as was time Ellen yeah really this is supposed to investigate and and and be involved in overseas okay not a mystic data which front deep snow guys understand the concept of whistle blowers once you go look it up and then come out with your nonsense it could be it could be a guy who works at Disney world Joe it doesn't matter who the person is C. I. A. R. otherwise its whistle blowing it's finding that something's wrong within the government reporting it it doesn't mean it's true and that is investigated that's what was so blow is all about which you guys can't seem to understand a convenient law for people who are against this president the whistleblower business is very very just and type very convenient I so here's a couple of weeks so the president which all you which you'll enjoy Nancy Pelosi knew all of the many shifty Adam Schiff lies in massive fraud Sarek perpetrated about Congress that's right and the American people in the form of a fraudulent speech knowingly delivered as a ruthless con and the illegal meetings with a highly partisan the whistle blower and lawyer wait this part two this makes me nervous Nancy every bit as guilty as a little I don't know what little with an apostrophe Adam Schiff means but it makes are every bit as guilty as little Adam Schiff for high crimes and misdemeanors and even treason I guess that means that they along with all of those evil lead colluded with them must all be immediately impeached well there's a coherent suite I think that that makes a little let's pick that apartment because Nancy Pelosi went through that launched an impeachment inquiry before sheets theoretically had seen the transcript I think she did see the transcript she knew what the whistle blower was going to say because the committee controlled by Adam shift orchestrated the the whole process of bring this whistleblower fall less trees well the reason is part I am I don't think I would call it treason but I also really punish treason by death knowing I understand but doesn't that smell a little bit look at what we have to do is they're gonna impeach the president I think he has accepted that fact it's going to happen no question about it they got to do it soon send the thing too well Mitch McConnell the Senate he takes a vote and the Republicans stick five say no impeachment over the whole things done and then judicata at the ballot I actually agree with Alexandria because he'll Cortez well what did she say to make you agree with her impeachment is boring I don't care about it anymore I will say right you may be right find it fascinating that you guys do with the Republicans do you you focus on the process and not the charge you should be focused charge was that nothing to the charge unbelievable Joe you just charge you just cease never cease to amaze manta daily but I don't think so you're missing the whole chart when I for one thing that's that's just intellectually five for one for each of the big news here is hunter Biden's capitalizing on his father as the nice brand I'm glad trump brought that out we should know that before people consider voting for Joe Biden I think by the way is going no where and you're gonna have to vote for a little worn as I think by is known in nomination if I check my after all of them are you kidding me no no you are by the way here's why you guys are intellectually bankrupt trump actually had the gall six or seven times to say last Friday on the White House lawn that this isn't about politics this is all about the corruption we're trying to we and you buy that yeah sure Joe I've given up on you you are a hopeless cause I love okay I feel a real who went to Cologne I'd love to know what hunter by was up to in China OR one I would hear the CNBC reporter what he said to the president he said okay so you're interested in the corruption give me one other instance where you went after corruption than the viable political candidate the president I'll have to get back to you so focused on corruption he have five or six you guys go up right because you know what you're taken too literally also it's not can't take it take a look I gotta I gotta go to bring you guys are just like I gotta have a word for it this this will get your attention three things to eliminate this though this will get your attention a zombie Angelina Jolie is arrested wife that's next.

"Dot com and find out all kinds of inside skinny stuff on Hollywood such as this week my review of joker my favorite movie of two thousand nineteen so far no get a few months left but I loved it I think it's great it's not for everyone it's dark it's greedy it's bloody at times not a lot of blood away when it when it comes gushing out it's pretty rough so and this is a a biopic about Nicole you'll get you place for the Denver Nuggets naked and not a great I got a surprise are making a movie about him already you know he's he's a big star are you a big expense I'm not actually in this bag is nicknames joker dies okay. all right we also have a a guest movie review written today a ringer the famous Dave Lauer who is my producer for seven year eighty years and now produces bandy Connell show they've is gonna help with Judy Judy Garland movie and that we're gonna do the latest thing probably the last in the Rambo series with sly Stallone we're gonna have a lot of fun with that when you know we like to critique the reviews the bias the gender driven reviews of some leftist critics and they had a field day eating this movie my they piled on got some great quotes to share with you not Dave Lauer. when Christian I teased Judy last week soon as I heard Judy I thought of Cary Grant thing Judy Judy Judy my idea and Christian thought that he actually never said that you're an expert on this kind of stuff. I've heard both sides of that I'm not sure when the truth this. some as urban legends kind of blossom up around certain phrases in our culture that don't exactly match but that that that is the phrase that it was mainly used by impression yeah yeah I never they did grant it's a great way to to capture his accent GST Judy give baby that's why when I think about it Danny in a car V. knock and that yeah the whole joint you think about your mail Cagney never really said you dirty rat that's a perfect. I mentioned I don't think captain Kirk in Star Trek ever said beam me up Scotty variations that rob that begin the catch phrase I would it would you Robbins I would yeah yeah wise guy yeah can you do it James Cagney. yeah you do it I can do a great that it would you Robinson after was killed wow. would you thank you again. you also are legendary for your Howard Cosell do a quick covered okay since the yeah the raiders have left one leaving Oakland yeah one of Howard's favorite intros was plan now I made a county Coliseum Oakland California. that's good that's good I do a great Marcel Marceau but I'll do it later use the do a Cosell making fun of me we should remember that. you'd talk about my roots yes I do playing for arrest missile high school. little Mikey rose in a hundred forty pounds soaking wet. all right I Christian tell us about Judy is a biopic of Judy Garland with a very specific time frame it looks at the last weeks of her life she is older she is not the star she wants what was she is looking for money and gigs because she is in deeply in debt and she's got three children I see too that they focus on the movie thank the third. if correct me that the third was he not born yet or I'm sure think it was Lorna and showing maybe lies ahead into the picture yet what's not life it was already in the hole okay that that's actually because they focus on wiring for the two kids so she said as long as kids that's it yeah so she does for for the take care for kids to make a living and she gets a gig and talk of the town et al a British night club and she has to take it as used in desperate straits and this is all about those final moments about her having a final love affair about her battling her addictions in the movie even though it focuses on her last months it does have a lot of flashbacks to her as a teenager on the set of the wizard of oz behind the scenes chatting with costar Mickey Rooney and it shows the roots of her abuse of her addiction and how the studios treated her very very badly something that would never happen today with all the child labor laws exist but back then it whatever they wanted to when they made her into a an addict. talk about the wizard of oz didn't she later have an affair with a munchkin. I don't know I just know. as he once was she was on the Jack Paar program once and she said they're a bunch of little drunks running around I remember that. of course it's Renee Zellweger playing Liza Minnelli now I thought that and the way it was briefly attached to the film she still has the look of Judy Garland blobs it's Renee what's the waiter was great she's wonderful she captures her and the behavior of the attitude she sings like Judy Garland of course no one sings exactly like Judy Garland was not a fan of movies with they have a the actor actress sing I I when here the real voice but you can just as you will but to its great performance I think it's Oscar caliber I think should be nominated for this and while I think the filled her performance is great the wood was just good I didn't feel up wrapped up in the store is much they wanted to but I I had some minor flaws the a quibbles with that but it was good and think she's great I remember watching old movies when I was a kid on black and white television all the old Mickey Rooney Judy Garland movies which always included something like okay kids let's put on a show exact right so I remember her as a child actors and I also remember her very late in her career when she had a variety show back then in the nineteen fifties all of these people had variety shows where it should be the central figure but other people would be cast and then when she and she's saying and that's when she was in her. late drug phase she lost a lot of weight she was very frenetic her hand gestures and everything else it was really uncomfortable watching and it's kind of the Judy you see in this bill yes that's right she really has Renee Zellweger has really done an incredible job of research in this film. I don't and the thing you wait for okay when is she going to sing and what's going to happen how is it going to be and she finally sayings and it's not UT garland which she has some of the tonal quality that she's used some of the gruff ness that went into the Judy Garland voice later in life she's captured that. a good singing voice and a. I thought you did a tremendous job with that you prefer the real Judy voice or do you are you okay with an actress I'm okay with it because if you have the real Judy voice all instantly you're you're disconnected from look at him you know this is not really Judy however when someone is. doing are not an impression I would say but singing with some of the qualities that the garland had I think it's more convincing how about Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Renee road Reese Witherspoon doing Johnny Cash and June Carter cash I thought they pulled off wonderfully and they're singing voices were excellent yeah then ray charles' it was really his voice when Jamie Foxx portrayed in ray so they did if I bounce back and forth in the rap city it's really Freddie Mercury in rocket man it's not Elton John it's Karen education so I guess each time they have to figure out if the actors get close enough they can make a convincing in Judy what do you think of the guy who was cast to play Mickey Rooney. I was not impressed at all you six five Mickey Rooney was what five foot two resulting leave ME office yeah and had a black actor yeah that's right I'm all for diversity but you got it yeah that's the limit yeah but no seriously if they if they were too short scenes with making running where she wanted to date him and he wanted to just be friends and the legend goes that they just were friends at what age was that when I was a late that was the late thirties early forties during that era where they made those movies together so need late teens early twenties how would yeah I would say look late teens early twenties when Mickey Rooney himself was like the number one box office star in the world in the in the world so they were both on top of the world at that point and would have been a natural for them to get together but it didn't happen how about when when Judy Garland get very mad at her daughter because she was using wire hangers in the closet that's the right here your regulatory wrong accurate no not yet. that's right Joe Crawford number one okay no more rain I like her do those so what I would I would give this. yes home four to five little pelts little why Carter's little liver pills on another white little I like you three and a half rainbows it's good and I don't know if the ending really happened I think it's sort of a I doubt if you need lock riffle life yeah I think so but I was okay with it I think if you want to pay tribute to women who is really just battered and beaten and tortured and if you do want to hear we older Judy saying over the rainbow you will be satisfied yeah. that would be that the highlight for me absolutely. yeah I I you know it's like it's doing well the IEEE about the two point nine million in just four hundred sixty one screen so that's a good start that means if they like.

"Mean this year he's going to talk about some movies that he had seen and mention in passing somebody hasn't seen he is the culture writer and film critic at the Salt Lake Tribune SL trim but the dot com is where you can find many of his writings and you can find everything collected in one convenient place for your convenience convenient way yeah movie cricket dot net yeah I don't know them okay well we got bell on movie cricket dot net you'll be refined reviews of a name without a place which is that's a local a local a local director and part of the film here and had Pat has Patrick fugit in it is the only good thing in it so sad that that's fine but yeah the sound of silence which was at Sundance of Peter Sarsgaard as a house tuner. if it's a what yeah house to rubber yeah he can he can he can sort of odd orally finish where your place in harmony yeah in things happen and then the documentary all Kerala which is about water and it's reviewed these very beautiful direct site it's sometimes very exciting and sometimes the screen saver. really well you like them gateway stars three stars yeah so you can read the full reviews there of movie cricket dot rat now that I did not get the CJ myself which is a documentary about a photographer which is playing at the Broadway okay now what the they were my favorite are to this week is something called the day shall college days shall the director the guy directed this did one a few years ago called for lions which was this like great sort of says satire sort of in the mode of like Veep about four would be British jihadists red Riz Ahmed was in it and with this one you've got a guy who is a preacher in Miami with his own little sort of weird cult and and three whole followers and you post location posts face videos of of him like looking down college kids with the with bad drug deals. well the I I will think drug deals the FBI notices one of these videos and they're they're on the lookout for somebody that they can turn into next bin laden you know that's the way the F. B. I. works because you need a bad guy you need a bad guy and you need and so Hey if we can set him up with a with an informant or something or other and so on you know some fake a forty sevens than we can trump up this giant to you know conspiracy to commit terrorism charge against them and half the time a lot of times when you hear in the news that the FBI has busted this terrorist usually at some dumb schmuck who who who who the FBI sold the right weapon yeah I do and yeah and and they made up this whole entire thing so that actually says in the in the movie are based on a hundred true stories. so that so they have it the this one ambitious young F. B. I. agent played by Anna Kendrick who who who finds these guys and and her boss played by Denis o'hare was a great character they they build this thing up into the problem is is that this guy did this this this guy is philosophy involves no guns so how do you sell guns to somebody who doesn't use guns or okay and it is to be a okay and and it's it's it's a really it it's not a sharp satire as you wish you could be and it's not quite the level of V. bin and then was going to say this but it's there's a potential there's a there's a lot of potential here there's a lot of like very sharp humor and and very very very bitter satire about the way the F. B. I. works so it's worth it for that okay three stars three stars for the day shall come okay forties there too yeah upon a abominable. in the times I couldn't go because I had like family stuff which I enjoyed much more than I'm sure I would enjoy that movie and it's animated it's it's a good computer animated DreamWorks teenage teenage girl T. Chinese American girl meet the Eddie and has to take the money back on a medical a magical magical yet was this year as opposed to the other kind we will do it every day so he has she's just got to get the yeti back yeah I'm wherever he lands she and she is voiced by Chloe Bennet okay we know and love from agents of shield yeah so. they have your kids mention this amount now I'm I I'm mildly curious but not enough to well then let's get to Judy Judy. Judy Garland all right we'll of Judy Garland icon an icon yes yes a tragic figure you know died at the age of forty seven which is weird you see video and pictures of her and you think really forty it was also are older it was a hard forty seven and the she started she's she's our service when she was two and as this movie discusses when she was sixteen I thought she was too fat to play Dorothy yes so she pumper pump raffle at night bills and then when those are keeping our weight giver ya sleeping pills and and thus starting a decades long cycle of yeah yeah of dependency and drugs and alcohol and and else which is why it by the end of her career which is where this movie focuses she was unemployable in Hollywood nobody she was unreliable nobody would dress that she'd actually show up for work practically homeless her third husband said loft was going to take the kids away choose broke.

"You guys are trying to sell me this and what you're doing. You're dating it just with that little bit. And I hated that a lot because I was like this could have been a timeless masterpiece, and you would have been able to leave it alone. You know, what that is true? I guess I see what you're saying. I completely think my argument with that. Is that New York man, right? I mean think about some songs that that would make movies back in the day and kind of have last empower I'll be home for Christmas. Meet me, Saint Louis. Now's the classic Christmas song the song for soundtrack of the movie back in the Dave ride, Judy Judy Garland. Yeah. So I, but I get what you're saying. I don't think that these this song. At all. I don't think any of them do really. Oh, really? Yeah. And I'm just thinking like men do kids will like it gets like new music. That's for them. It's not for me. It's fine. But I think the quality of music they should have put more money into that. I think if you're gonna make it such a heavy part of the plot where he super notice the one thing that did I just that's the way my mind works is how are they trying to make DreamWorks happy. Are they trying to make what's Justin Timberlake? Can't fight the feeling for trolls airs, and they put it in the movie kind of old not at the forefront. But enough for me to notice like that. I did notice they put Sony up. Then whenever they. Yeah. The headphones. Yeah. Wow. All right. But that the visual style and the way they play with dimensions. This is going to be a movie where I'm going to buy the blue ram go frame by frame. Oh, yeah. Because there'll be one thing I noticed where he's going through thing dimensions or warping which that happens a lot and it cut to the Newark universe, it cut to the the enemy universe that like maybe four or five frames where you. Notice it. But then go away. Yes. This is a this is a very high full price. Yeah. I'm right there with you. And I it was you know, what I do have to be with you time will tell if it will be timeless because I do agree with. You was so contemporary is hard to tell how timeless it will be the story is the music is. I think the I think people are going to be able to watch us forever. It'd be fine. But just adds old song. What's on was that? Okay. That's it. So you make a good point though, man. I like that. Yeah. And then actually just to your point. I both loved and hated kingpin as well. I couldn't tell I I hated it. But then they were doing some interesting things where like he would block out an entire shot, and it would just be his head. And I'd be like. Visually or he would take up half the screen of a heady had would be peaking out on the other side so visually at some points. Looked really cool looks really intimidating times. Just like walking around doing business like, wow, that's just the blob of nothing. Because they get. Fat from Michael Jackson. Man thing that is what bothered me. I thank you better than idea because there will be some scenes when he would be around pretty normal..

"His long and story than than an well. Lot of career is the application of a star is born. But since we're talking about this, and this is one of the handful of like big icon things you've done. I think in some ways house of cards was that certainly for those of us who are willing and wrote it though, so let's give them giving the credit, okay? Okay. He did. Right. But your your presence there. Your presence also in Benjamin button, which you know, which also about time in that way that that's the best. Scott FitzGerald stuff is about time and being out of time. But this is the one we talk about iconography. This is such a big piece with such a turbulent history. What were your trepidation scared to death of this? Because I first of all new Frank Pearson. Very well. And and so Frank Pearson wrote the nineteen seventy six directed it. He was and he was scared of it, you know, and he he he was ultimate curmudgeon as a human being I loved him. But he was tough boy. And but I think you feel like you have some responsibility to try to maintain the legacy of these films. I mean, whether the films are all greater not great. But something about Judy Garland. That's a heartbreaker, you know, that one even Anthony lane who was a little bit than over the moon about our movie, even though he like most of it. He kept talking back about how the Judy Garland version still gets him. You know, and obviously generations who have no clue about Judy Judy Garland is much stars born. So I'm hoping this one will give them some sense of this particular. I can see. Yeah. But there's also. I think is the key thing is to really connects me to him with the tradition of rock-n-rollers. And we'd never seen before he has tonight. Tonight's. Yes. Which which is really it's a medication to deal with this thing that he's embarrassed to talk about because he's a musician. The idea it comes early on only give too much away. But he there is a quick fix that. He refuses to take. That's exactly right. Because if somehow he feels a compromise with who he is also I think he feels no one asks you to sue it emasculate him to do. Exactly. That's exactly right. I think it does. Right. And then we we doubled down on that at some point in the thing. But I with tinnitus I I had one experience with it. I was a pretty good friends with a still am, I guess to some extent? I haven't seen a lot of this musician. Rob zombie. Because I went on. I went on tour with him for the short period of time. And I would sit on the speaker. And I realized after like three nights my ears were gone. It made me pathological though, because you figure you're not getting this back in how and what does that do to you in the sound the sound of the whatever that sounds in your head. And I know I'm pretty good friends with John Dan's more, the drummer from the doors, and he he has the same problem. He he eventually learn to live with it. I mean, that's what you have to do eventually. And it's also because.
