"Those guys need the reps this time of year. They're actually going to be a potential future players for the Patriots. Nikhil Harry just looks like he's just eaten up space out there right now. It's kind of crazy I think that he's even on the team still. Yeah, I was interested to see what position it was going to be playing because I'm somebody who's been in the camp of, oh, you can't just say, oh, make them a tight end. It doesn't work like that. And then Mike Reese came out in his weekly column, right? And said Nikhil might need to change positions in order to make the team. And when Reese says it, you pay attention. So he didn't work with the tight ends today at all, which would have been a fun storyline if he did, but I think that they hope, you know, I said this before, remember last year where he was rolling in camp and he was going against Juan Williams, but he was rolling in camp and in the preseason and he got hurt and kind of derailed everything. I think the hope is that he can replicate that. I think the hope is that he can have a good camp, will hype him up a little bit. Somebody will take the bait and maybe get a 6th instead of a 7th, right? I think, you know, I'm not doing it again. I fell for it a little bit last year. I'm not falling for it. A little bit. You fell for it a little bit last year. A little bit. Got to give me a hard time. I'm not the other teams are reading my stuff and making trades based off of what Evan Lazar has to say, but I'm just saying like, I'm staying far away from that hype. Like if anybody else wants to go and make him sound like trade worthy, then you're just doing the Patriots a favor, I guess. At that point, right? Like you're just doing the team a solid. Maybe we can really get it out of them. So, you know, as weird as it is that he is on the Ross right now, I don't totally disagree with that, but his values never been lower. And it can't get much lower than it is right now. I understand why you don't want him, but I get the reps thing, but at the same time, what's the rush, right? That's how they look at it. I think there's no offer, right? Teams are just kind of waiting around to see if they're going to have to throw a conditional 7th at the Patriots to get them before he gets cut at this point. That's the offer, right? We'll give you a conditional 7th, and if he sticks on our 53, then you get the 7th. That's the offer. Other than that, there's nothing out there. I thought it was solid. He doesn't move as fast as his teammate, mcduffie, but he can play the outside more productively. Like, he's the type of guy that I could see being able to match up against X's, right? Which is kind of what they need. They'll figure it out with disease and John Jones and doubling no matter bracketing them inside. The guy that they have trouble with right now is that outside X receiver, I think Kyler Gordon can take those types of guys and he's not the fast corner. I guess we missed the faster corner. "At a certain point, miles Bryan, I think it's just a matter of miles Bryant's not physically fast enough to cover his aim McKenzie. McKenzie's one of the fastest players in the league. I think anybody is so at a certain point you need to recognize that make a change. Whether it's, you know, giving Deangelo Ross a shot. And would that have worked? Would Ross have been able to cover? I don't know. But you don't know until you try. And it was kind of one of those things. Honestly, Devin McCourty is probably the fastest player in the defense. He played some corner. I would have given Devin McCourty look there. Just a look to see what happens. They were so good. The other problem is, you know, you like to think Sean wade could get a look there. He's an actor. Juan Williams. I don't know if this is a matchup for Juan Williams. Maybe you come out with Williams who significantly bigger and he just jammed at the line. He upset the timing. He's an active. They weren't ready on all of I think they expected the bills with all their COVID cases wide receiver to come out and just run run and run. And I don't know how you can expect that from that team. Yeah. They weren't ready. They weren't ready for it. And they were caught totally off guard once and started happening. No adjustments whatsoever. Again, I think miles Bryant's a good player. I think he, there's a role for him on this team and he can do a lot of things that they need. "So with that being said, that John Williams, Michael Jackson are going to play a ton tomorrow night. I would think. And we talked about this a little bit. What was it yesterday or the day before that? If you took away draft status, and you just took away all the other types of things that you want. Williams being the 45th pick in the draft and all that kind of stuff. Michael Jackson has challenged receivers more in Camp than to Juan Williams has inspect the last three or four practices. I would say, Michael Jackson starting to come on a little bit, Jackson needs to be out on the outside. He needs to be on the boundary, he needs to use the sidelines. He needs to be physical at the line of scrimmage wage. Not going to win any foot races, but when he is in phase and in position to make a play on the football, he's got pretty decent ball skills, down the field and we've seen that flash a little bit more recently. I certainly in the last couple of practices. So I would say that Michael Jackson has slightly played outplayed to Juan Williams to this point, but Michael Jackson was not the 45th pick in the draft. So that there is some sucking cost there that need to factor in with someone Williams. Yeah, I I think it goes back to n'keal Harry. I think you're putting more stock on that than probably, I am than, I think the team will we talk about this all the time, right? Once you pick the player, I think, outside of what it means. For the contract, the trash stock goes away, I think they are who they are. And you're at the point n'keal Harry into one Williams, where the contracts, not as relevant to talk about their standing on the roster, Ur, I one of those guys have to show up because right now they're best option for that. Third outside Corner Spot is an external addition, right? I think right? Yep. Colonel option is Jalen Mills which is not good, which is not good for anybody. Right? Right. Well, I, I would still argue that overall. Like I would rather go to an external option than Jalen Mills at this point. So somebody's got to stand up. I said this on my 98 V show last night if Michael Jackson. You know, he's at 3 okay practices. He was great in one of them he was above average in the other two. I don't know what that means. If he is building momentum, now is the time you want to do is log into that first preseason game, but he still has a long way to go to convince me that that spot is set to on Williams has even longer to go. And the thing you'd again, comparing Williams to Harry cuz I think there is something relative comparison. There you mentioned Harry has flashed at the couch against the Chiefs last year from sidam, those two catches against the Chargers has, I don't know that you're on Williams is flashed. Maybe he did against kasicki week one. Yeah, we make a sticky. Had that one pass breakup, which was sort of a moment, right? But not not much. "Dwight Williams in Michael Jackson. For example, they've taken a ton of reps dead opposite of n'keal Harry, and that's a, that's a matchup for those two guys, right? Especially De Juan Williams a 6.3 Corner. N'keal Harry is not the best guy in the world. Not the most electric off, top of the route. That's the type of matchup that, if you're going to put you on Williams in the game, he should be able to cover the big body wide receivers that's going to win at the attach point that that should be his type of natural. And we have seen n'keal Harry handily when that match up in training camp so far, Joann Williams at the top of the route, just doesn't have the hip fluidity. He doesn't have the transition speeds, he doesn't have, he has the length and if he can start to anticipate some of those route brakes, a little bit more than, maybe that can come up, but he just seems to half a step slow to everything every single kind of interaction at the top of the page, right? And you worry about if there's an injury, but not even if there isn't an injury. If I'm opposing offensive coordinator and I'm making a game plan to go up against this page defense. I'm saying I'm not throwing a Gilmore. I'm not throwing a Jackson. I'll throw a Jones a little bit just cuz the slot is such a difficult spot to cover, but the guys that I'm really going to pick on our life style Duggar Juwan Williams, if they throw him out there, those guys can be had. And if I'm an opposing, those seat, I'm more worried about the bass, fresh, quite honestly, and giving the quarterback, Upright, and not throwing it at the two, the two monsters, and Gilmour, and Jackson, but those other three guys on the field are four guys and the field. If you want to put an extra defensive back out there, those young guys that I think it's really be hat in the secondary and I don't think that they're going to put any fear into anybody if with the way those guys are playing right now, maybe that's a pessimistic. Look at it and a little bit harsh. But either way that I see it I'll Duggar I think is something that we really should talk about because not only because it's just a player that we should talk about in general but in terms of covering tight anyway that's the they want him to cover tight ends like they want him to be the Patrick form of his defense. They wanted to blossom into that rule. Now going up against Johnny Smith and Hunter Henry, every single practice, iron sharpens, iron. That's a great matchup for him to learn off of, but the veterans are definitely getting the best of him out at training camp so far. And maybe that's just a testament to how good jaanu and Hunter Henry are dead. That's a good thing for the Patriots and maybe lesser tight ends, Duggar will be better against, but right now, I don't I see some improvements from clouds over in coverage by still..

But he's gotten past those injuries and, um, like I said, he's played the majority of the games these last two seasons more so than any other member of that secondary. It's just so random. That I just don't know if you can kind of base. Your decision on that. You haven't been ticky tacky things where he's got a shoulder that keeps popping out of its socket. He got nailed in the back of the leg and got Uh, high ankle sprain and towards a fee l so I don't know what the I'm sure it's frustrating for everybody involved. I just don't know if there are any clear answers to anything injury related. What's the next step with with the quarterback? I mean, at some point of carob close the guy isn't it just assumed that that number will be re negotiated so they can sign free agents. Create to see starts. What? In a month? Um, what we do You expect me? You're suggesting that the Watson thing could play out in July? Well, the 40. If that's the case, you the four dinners are out there. Sounds like that. Ryan's not going to get moved. Didn't sound like Aaron Rodgers is going to get moved. So it's Stafford. Now a ram. Should we see? Should we be looking for a Jimmy Garoppolo Niner extension here in the next day or two? Or or if not? What do you think they're waiting on? Well, I mean, the way it's written now is, you know they don't have any of that guaranteed money looming over them like a Matt Ryan does like a Jared Goff had in L. A. That just makes it so unwieldy that you have to give Away an extra first rounder just to move his contract. I mean, the 40 Niners have done the right thing here. Niners are gonna have a better idea of how much is Trent Williams going to cost? How much is it gonna take to bring back chasing threatened K Juan Williams and DJ Jones and the guys we want to bring back and if the answer is like is that they can't do it. I think they would entertain a restructure at that point in order to gain some 2021 cap relief for Jimmy Garoppolo in and by that point, you're right. There may be a lot more clarity on the on the quarterback landscape. It, uh, to kind of help them do that. Aziz well show, but that's when I would see it happen. Later this month or early in March. And don't you think they're already I know it's ah, three years away, and that seems like a long, long time. But these things sneak up on you quick. Don't you think they're already looking at all these salaries and the structures of the salaries and And thinking, OK, three years from now, two years from now, we'll probably have to pay Nick Bosa a boatload of money to keep him here, so that that's always gonna be factored in, does it not? Um You know the hope and the expectation what the 40 Niners air are banking on, basically is that obviously there's going to be a dip in the cap in 2021, but there's gonna be big gains in the cap in 2022 2023 s O that all these guys can you know it's part of that window. The governor has declined to endorse that idea. Even though Republicans as well as democratic leaders of Congress have endorsed it. And there is this connection that saw has with Kay Juan Williams early. He feels it that Kay wanted so on point with his preparation, the the way that he Studies and plays fast and kind of opens things up for the rest of the secondary because nobody has to worry about where K. Juan Williams is going to be. He's exactly where he's supposed to be. He can take some chances. They do do some things with him Blessing off off the edge. You're off the slob. So to me, he's that he's the guy because it's not that position it It's not a It's not a big money position, but By the Jets. Congar. Oh, it as far as they want to go to bring him in. If you like yourselves, pitch off the lift. It's concerning. And what's even more concerning is the laughing for nothing apparent pitch off conservatism. So now you have something for nothing going on his toe to toe with nothing for nothing. And this is wrong. We need to explain what conservatism is, in simple terms, Short story, whatever, and then fix the two problems that exist. In the market capitalist system, the one being that it tends to be gravitate towards one or few players who owned the game. That's the capitalist side. And on the market side effect is that markets don't work for essential services Health Uh, education and former and those need to be addressed by the conservative side of the argument and taken to go toe to toe with something for nothing dream, which is actually launches and finishes in ashes. You can't do any worse than liberal Democrats have done in big cities and states They've run for decades with law and order with safety security with education. Republicans have an antidote to the education problem and have the antidote to the law and order problems called called Policing. And with the new military technology, we don't need to send kids door to door like we did in Baghdad. We have the ability to take out entire city blocks pushing a button in Tampa, Florida. That's how we should fight future wars if we ever getting engaged. Want better intelligence. I want more secure Internet. And when I went toe, see you know where my people who are hosting me where the maitre d dragged me to the back and suddenly Got weak knees, man. I said Hey, you know, how are you all of a sudden wives and friends all nice to meet you all that and I was like, but I thought we were going to talk about what we were I I ended up there for an hour and a half in a crowded restaurant. Oil boy, You know, it's guys our age and I'm right there with you. I mean, you have to be so careful. All right. I love to talk. I don't love to talk to people that are sick, but Tell us. I did talk to some of the day You told me what it was like to try to get out of bed. The first morning, you wake up, You have a pounding headache. You're exhausted. Is that similar to what you experienced? Take our listeners through what it's like to first discover all Yeah, well, you know, it starts slow because it started with me with sniffles and a runny nose. And I'm thinking, you know. Hey, don't be a chump. You just got a little bit of a cold or, you know. Temperatures are dropping around here. So maybe you know that is impacting your Sinuses. And then it started to get a little worse than I thought to say. Wait. Maybe this is the flu. But, you know, I don't think that you got cold. And you know why? You know why do you want always want to be dramatic slowdown, You know, be a man. And then that's what that Z one Williams. That's all liberal propaganda is no worse than the flu. I've heard of 1000 times. Right. Well, you got a chance, so I was thinking, all right, All right. Take it easy. What's wrong with you? And then because they make the anchors that box all take a test. Once a week, we spent into a two. They send it off to a lab. I did that. And that test came back positive, and that's when all the alarms went off, and they sent me off to a Special clinic to do another test. That was positive than they did a long term test that came back the next within 24 hours from another lab. That was positive, But by that time, you know, just to answer your question to take your listeners through it. I was having trouble sleeping now It was the headache that you're talking about. And the fatigue and like, even like the struggle from the bed to the fast one was like, Hey, what is going on with my body? And you know why am I feeling this way? And the headache, I think was the thing that really sticks with me even now, But the bigger problem was at some point. I felt woozy like I could pass out and I thought, you know I'm by myself. If I hit my head or something past and I don't know what's gonna find me for days here. This is this about. Just bring our listeners update you quarantine in the hotel to keep your wife safe.
