"The Yankees handed the race just a tenth loss of the season coming from behind for a 6 5 victory. Anthony Rizzo's second home run of the game, a two run shot in the bottom of the 8th off Jason Adam, gave New York the win. Tampa Bay had grabbed the 5 four lead in the top of the 8th when Josh slow hit a three run Homer. Anthony volpe also homered and drove in two runs for the yanks. They're really good team, but we can stack up with anyone. And as long as we play that type of way and keep proving it, nobody besides ourselves, I feel like we're going to be able to put together these types of games. "During these four days of exhibition games on ESPN. Rabby how you doing? I'm doing great and caught me sort of the middle post workout. So if I apologize for the sweat, but I'm doing great. And it was a rare drive home from spring training game versus fly. So that helped. Yeah, I gotta tell you, my drive to Tampa last night, I just was so excited about everything that we saw this week. Yeah, look, I still believe firmly that baseball is in for a historic massive year. It's going to be wildly successful. I think it's going to take a little while for people to actually realize how different the game is until you attend one or watch one on TV, but yesterday buster, I saw video of, I think it was Juan de Peralta, struck a guy out in 20 seconds and they were in yesterday when Alex Cora wore that headset and there was a one two three inning. I'm guessing that half spinning, you know, took three minutes and I just want to guard against people thinking we're trying to rush this thing away, which we're not, you know, we love the game as much as everybody watching it, but part of the new reality is when a pitcher is on and a bullpen is good and both teams have that. You're going to see a two hour game. You're going to see an hour and 55 minute baseball game. It's very different, you know, than what we're used to, but be ready, you know, kind of strap your seatbelt on because it is going to move and there's a lot of action and all that, but I'm really delighted by what we saw and it feels to me. "So you never know it could happen again. We might just flip on our TVs for the World Series and find out that actually it's best the night. But I don't think so. But in this game, against the Yankees, he was good again, and he struggled a little, and then he settled down and was good after that. There was yet another Harrison Bader Homer. I think it must be like a reverse Sampson situation where he cut his hair and got more power, possibly. So he had another Homer, but there was not a lot of Yankees offense in this game because there was good Astros pitching again and so it was a four two final. There were some people a bit up in arms or up in arms about the arms that Aaron Boonen had elected to use in this game. Because it seems like Boone just like, there are only a few pictures he really wants to use right now. Which I get like he's missing a good number of the arms that he relied on throughout the season. And so now it was almost like he was auditioning other candidates for weight ending work. It's like, how about you? How about Frankie montas? You haven't pitched it a really long time. Could you be like a great lady? Maybe not. Clark Schmidt, how about you? Maybe Clark Schmidt, okay. He hasn't really used Lu trevino a lot, which is odd because he's been pretty good as Yankee. So yeah. So he was okay in this game. Schmidt, not as much Montana as much. So that was it basically, but you know, I guess you can't, you just want to be Peralta in every game. No. Probably did too. Yes, but yeah, because there's potential, again, for a lot of games to happen on consecutive days in this series. It's just it's weird that Juan de Peralta is like you're shut down guy for this team. Necessarily see that coming. But he's the guy who was, I guess, kind of the de facto closer now. And then you've got clay homes as long as his shoulder holds up. "I i really feel like that. An unreported Underreported and You know under the radar injury that has had much bigger impact than i think. People realize jonathan low is going down for the yankees. Even in baba appearances i think far more than yankees fans or anyone would expect to see him in there and you know with the bullpen. it's just such a ripple effect. If you're winning a game likewise go and again with how chapman has looked might have been getting more of those chances in the closer role just brings and more and more guys. You don't necessarily want to see a narrow mean klay. Homes has been really good for the yankees. But it's thirteen appearances. And they're waiting for the higashi your somewhere as well so he could be in that if they come back positive they could be. Maybe they were all on the same plan except for aaron judge. I dunno. Maybe they weren't went home for a couple of days. I you know who knows That would be probably some of the questions that are being asked but the judge one is really significant simply because he was at the all star game we all watched the all sort of watched it but we all saw the home run hitting contest. We saw how packed stadium was. We saw the players interacting with one another. And that's one of the reasons. Why number the red sox now had have undergone testing as well because a number of their players were also out at the all star game. So they're just trying to figure out all this stuff and just do some contact tracing. Hopefully all the stuff is not serious and we haven't heard of really any major athlete of any sort in any of the sports even nascar golf or anything Come down with anything significant. You want to get into the bullpen and these old guard. These these white dude's at bitch about how the game used to be. You know these guys still hold onto that mantra of running up a pitch count and this and that the fact of the matter is asserted. Pitch count doesn't mean dick. It doesn't matter because the game is so highly specialized. Now that you've got these really deep bullpens. Everybody comes out of the bullpen pumping ninety four. Plus all of that. But with what. We're seeing here with this spin rate crackdown. I want to see what happens here with bullpens.
