What was Before the Beginning?

"Most people start reading genesis they, they don't stop to go what was happening before the beginning right in saying and she's ready. The. Question to the book, start the Genesis starts realtime action with the beginning I mean. So you're already in the flow of it. So this is kind of stepping back and saying, okay well, what was happening before that actually started? So who was there? I mean They're a bunch of stuff going on. There are a bunch of people there. was there a big you know meeting talk about it with turtles way down who was there? Yes. So The way I understand it I think the way the Bible describes it is there was nothing everything is dark for was void try to. If you can nothingness like nothing nothing nothing nothing other than got. Got The. Only thing that there is got is the only thing that is a being that is in existence in he is entirely created actually had somebody asking me question the other day here at the church. I pastor now and they said jt glad you're here I've wrestled. This is a this is a kind of an older saints who've been walking the Lord for forty fifty years. And he said to me, he said agent at this intellectual question for the entirety of my walk with the Lord. Laird, God come from. In ease asking the question like who made godwit gut come into being, and that's a very common question in the Christian response to this is God didn't come from anything didn't start anywhere. He is the thing that is probably most distinct about God in this is what we learned last year in the apostles creed is that he is the maker he is the he is the one who has unmade. His created exists entirely distinctly enough himself in Trinidadian relationship father son and Holy Spirit. So the first thing we want to say before we even get into Tyrian ISM if you want to go down that path is before anything. got. Yup. Yeah. That's and it's pivotal because specifically when we're talking about who got is reference to these first chapters of Genesis, we often use the language of creator creature distinction right exactly, and that might be one of the most important distinctions. Bible makes in that we have in theology is that God is entirely. In of himself yeah. Absolutely. that. He is qualitatively different. Than anything else he is utterly unique. As. One of the ways when I teach this that I get people to sort of have this hit home as I say, right you gonNa make a chart and on one side you're gonNA. Label call them things that are created and then on the other side you're GonNa label it things that are created and then on the left hand side things that are created for you right? Right God. And then on the right hand side where you're going to write. Everything else like there's there's nothing that was not the did not That does not have got us its origin. Yeah. Yeah. So We. Start there with talking about God is Creator in Genesis clearly displaying this, that God is creator everything else is created but who is this guy jt? You mentioned it kind of when you were talking about that. This is trinity right God his father son and Holy Spirit, and so are we talking about three different gods up they're all discussing with one another are we in collaborating with one another are we talking about one God who has three different roles? Who are we talking about when we're talking about this God who is Father Son and Holy Spirit? Yes. I think there's just clues that are given to us in genesis some people like to go to genesis worn twenty six or the texts says, let us which shows some kind of divine plurality. There's lots of ways to to interpret probably better for us on suggest to go to the New Testament Charles spurgeon has analogy where he talks about God has always been trinity, but it's kind of like walking into a room where there's furniture everywhere in the old. Testament, the lights are off in a new testament. You're turning the lights on none of the furniture was placed there during the New Testament it was there the whole time, but you can now see it better. So canonical, it's actually probably better for us to to move our way backwards if God is if there's only one God. In he is trinity and that's what we see clearly in the New Testament in the churches confessions than that must be the same God who existed before creation, and so the way that we understand Trinitaria relations in the New Testament is that there are three persons in one God. Our definition for Trinidadian is is that God eternally exists as one essence in three distinct persons, each of whom are fully God yet, there's only one God so. Policy for a second. Could you could you go back and say our definition of the trinity is just kind of repeat that real slowly? Yes. So our definition of the Trinity is God. Eternally exists supposing there that he that's what we've just been talking about. He is eternal. He has not come into being he is the Creator and maker of all things. So so always been always will be it's right. Okay and and never will never came into existence never has ceased existing never will cease to exist

COVID-19 concerns prompt Georgia quarterback Jamie Newman to opt out of 2020 season

"There has been some very big news in the SEC earlier today coming out of Athens Georgia were Jamie Newman who had transferred from wake forest expected to be the star of the high flying dogs announced. He is opting out because of covert or certainly a lot of conversation about that and we caught up earlier in the program with Mike Griffiths. Part of the reason he was coming to Georgia was to play more a pro style offense and group those potential NFL skills and you know I think he's been able to work in that offense, and now there isn't worth yet you know there's always the risk of injury with ten game schedule. Last year, you make it through the season had a shoulder injury, the poorest mrfloor state. Now, he's looking down the barrel of a ten game schedule. He's got a guy on his heels that. My overtaken for the position and JT Daniels. You know how does that look? NFL Scouts so I think this is the safe decision maybe per for Newman if you have concerns about cove nineteen or losing your job or or getting re injured, let's face it. It's a really physically Paul I mean there was only four out of fourteen teams in the league last year that had a quarterback started every game and that was an eight game season. Now, you're looking at a ten game season.

"Up just a ton of meat you know tuna. Beef sorry my phone doesn't vibrate anymore. EPA AARP him. But anyways, get like beef and unlike tuna an olive oil vinaigrette you know jalapenos tomatoes. Avocado. Pepper not knees priggen cheese. Just, all kinds of stuff. And how so fired up? In the lot was full and I was waiting for a spot. Finally got spot marched in there like I just did calabro swings. It was closed and I tell you I, shrivel up no shriveled up and I walked out my head low and that was like. This pandemic. Is. The worst thing to ever happen? Shut down the salad bars. What's next? You know. That's why we need to be diligent guys. And fight this virus. So we can go the salad bar I'm not waiting around for when they got close the Sushi section of whole foods down to because that's what's next guys. All right. That's what's next on the chopping block. If you just don't start wearing your mass all right save the Sushi saved the salad. Save the planet. Go. Aaron, what's your beef of the week? Maybe for the week is. Where the former baseball player. Jerry Hairston Junior. He was a fine player he was. Like a journeyman utility infielder Guy shortstop second base type guy he works for the dodgers now. And soon as the cardinals. Came Down Kovic is going through the team a little bit. He put out into the universe on twitter. That he heard one of them went to a casino. And that created a shit storm. That they were being irresponsible and all this stuff. It turns out through contract tracing that. One of the one of the players in the team had a buddy come over who was symptomatic. Got It he brought it back to the team. That's how it spread. That and the thing is it's like you put out something like that. Not only does it create anger that's unnecessary because it wasn't even true. But also it implies it's irresponsible because it implies that. something. Ridiculous had to happen. Instead of something. So Mundane. And just being around somebody who didn't know they had it. And you caught it and then you've and then it spread. Right and up getting through to ten players, and they missed two weeks of baseball and they just started backup this weekend. And Sarah. doubleheaders eleven. The rest of the way and I. Think they'll still only get to fifty eight games. But. It's just you're responsible. It's stupid and I think part of it's because he works for the dodgers and they've got a bit of a rivalry with the cardinals because we beat them. All Time. Except for two, thousand, nine, I was there but it happens. I was also there in two thousand, fourteen we. Be Clayton Kershaw. Whatever But. Yeah. That's my beef. It's just it's just. WHO's taken the word of to career to fifty seven hitter it's saying he should. He should mention that every time he does commentary. No I mean he was a fine player him and his brother were we're fine. They were. They weren't superstars but they're they're you know I've certainly couldn't hit off them more or do better but you know it's just like. It's just completely you're not a journalist. And why are you spending? Weisberg gossip you have a you have an audience. So it's just it's reckless. And again because. Covert is spread so much more simply. then. Someone doing something so stupid and reckless. During this pandemic as going to a casino. Of course, that would be terrible but it doesn't take that yet and this this showed man is. Cases. Yeah. Don't like it scares. Yeah. Could be anybody yeah. Dude my be the week is just a beef with life and how it goes. There was this kid little Hercules you remember him. Yeah he was so jacked. And he's now twenty eight and he seems like a happy adult, but he's not jacked anymore. I just bummed me out. It's sad. Because this is him now look he's in good shape. You know how do you not been little? Wouldn't be a big deal, but then you look at him when he was eight. Rigged camera gotTA show this rig dude hot. I'll walk over. Look at this age. You may not have been remember little archies. it's not in focus. is going to be the camera right in front of you this one yeah. But it's it's doesn't work on. Little Hercules the kids. Specimen. I worried about him at the time because he was. So Young, and so jacked I was like. Is he going to his growth can be stunted? is like how tall is he now is what I. Think he's normal high but it but it wasn't in the article I do remember when a ESPN had him in the next issue, which was always you know they they'd be highlighting the athletes who are going to be the next big class superstars and unlike the initial paragraph about them like little Hercules has his own kind of days where he'll eat a jar of honey and then do one hundred pull ups. Weird yeah. It's a whole jar of honey. One hundred nuts. Being maybe feels better not being jack maybe he's being objected to used to being objectified by people's eyes people loving them for his muscles. Yeah. It's exploring new things. Yeah. Have you seen the yoga now? That'd be great yeah. Chad. Who's your baby week? My baby the week is the Manhattan beach lifeguards. Get to know the lifeguards there do there's just like if the if there's like a pyramid of like cool dudes lifeguards at the top Yup. They're just the coolest.

But you'd be wrong through these trying times very few women have been able to make come resorted to sometimes thinking of her to suffice as well as in times of journey drilling ever seem to be a surefire way to get it done when looking at pictures of other girls are past hookups can never the same even resorting myself to thinking of other guy she's been with, we'll get done. Yeah I get this I've been dealing with just fine and found success in my social life as a twenty two and a little bit going for me with friends and possible career things lining up I haven't found anything that close in terms of bond in a relationship and taking anything from your advice that would most likely be the root cause but would the fathers of stoke weigh in on this? Issue just a good fuck. Am I just a romantic looking for my forever love to lever to my knob. Do I need to try to put myself out there more to try to refined that bond I've done that in had little success but when appreciate vice appreciably incredibly appreciative this makes the pod maybe forever be in the eternal glory glory of Joe's hogging men. That's nice. I think You know if you've been out there and you've been fucking. Like they're saying yes. But she's still on your mind. I mean I think it's something you might need to explore further if possible do that's nice. Yeah. I thought it was I see I was being cynical. What'd you think I thought he was just in fantasy and it's fun to fantasize about those things. But then when you actually deal with the reality, it oftentimes isn't as you get over it just as quick. I think that could certainly be the case, but he should find out. Yeah. Yeah. I think he should also I think him and this girl just might have had better sexual chemistry. then. He's had with these other girls and maybe he's a pretty intense specific guy you really projecting here. Maybe. He just needs to find someone else that he has that kind of chemistry with. That's interesting. 'cause like maybe you're not coming because you're not really into them. Yeah. Maybe maybe maybe you're really into this other go, but that doesn't mean she'll be the only girl you really into but if you are really into like which Chad's in Yeah Yeah Yeah. I explore further and just you know see for real and and if if it's not what you thought, it would be. Then continue on the search. because you'll find your lady, you've got a promising future you good guy. So you know and again you're young Yep, you know it's not do or die this moment you know just. Take life as it comes for sure. Yeah. Yeah. I own Ashley mears episode she kind of like. Reoriented my thinking on that a little bit. Yeah. WHA-. What exactly we really telling this young do really hey grass is always greener stay with girl and then which I think is good advice to, and then she was like, no, you know young I would tell them to keep exploring but also his motivation was that he wanted to sleep with the mill. Right so But she actually treated more seriously like maybe he needs that experience but that's something he really genuinely wants a needs. Bony here, and it's hard to take it super serious. 'cause you're all right. You got a girlfriend he wants to be in the middle of. The A lot of people have those thoughts. Yeah. Most are better suited if they just stay on the course there ought yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's because I I don't know I'm. Not Maestro of I think Yeah. It's SORTA. How do you? How do you? Sir Decide which fantasies you need to explore in which he needs to sort of. Yeah. Kick to the curb and just sort of stand the PAF. Yeah. Good call. Yeah. Yeah. Like what is important? Yeah. Like what? What's worth like kind of digging here on the Greg I really want to do this? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's it's a question. Yeah, and everyone's different. Some people can accept. Like some people don't need it that bad. You know other people are like more exploratory like no I really like that's part of my personality to explore to have someone else he's on that wavelength. "Yeah those movies are good. So speaking of movies you watched rainman. We'll so I watch it every night like when my meds verdict him. So I only watch like five minutes at a time. It's good. It's really good. Open shots. Really Cool. It's just like a crane carrying Lamborghini into like the dachshund like this interesting. Yeah but dude. That thing I was struck by Dustin Hoffman's performance way out there on a limb. Way Out there. Like, at first it starts I'm like, no, he shouldn't be doing this. I don't know. I. Always leave that table read where Y- does happen starts reading his lines Tom Peers. He's just going into himself. Yeah. But I do I do his performances so good that after a couple of scenes you're like, all right I buy it. Then, you're like, that's pretty amazing. Yeah. The balls on Dustin Hoffman the balls dude yeah he's pushing the envelope. JERKERS action. Wow. Yeah but I think it's good enough for I think everyone on set. Pulling few. We're going to be okay. Do you think do you think he had like? He was insecure about it like he would. He would like do it and he's like guys is that like? Okay afterwards he's kind of carrying like. There's some days he couldn't do it. Yeah. Yeah. Dude I don't think so. I think that's food. He's oblivious her cut and he's like those great crushed it again. I'm wondering if there's people have been fired because they're like you're not playing it convincingly enough. Sorry. Yeah. That's interesting. Yeah. People know what they're doing if a director as you that you probably get fired. Yeah. But, yeah, that's A. Edgy movie in like accidental as very conventional story in terms of. The themes of it do we also read an article about Malcolm Glenn Finding God. It was more about him like actually believing in the power, of God. What it did for these individuals. Yeah. I know that was a heavy article. Yeah. ME OUT A lot. Yeah. Well, he's talked about like a Basically, say, this is family whose daughter was killed, right? Yeah and they're how they're so quick to forgive the killer. Yeah. Because of their faith. Yeah. Yeah, which is. I mean it's got to be one of the hardest things on earth to do. It was pretty crazy. Yeah compassion. Yeah. I don't know but I was like. It didn't strike me as powerful as Malcolm. Glad. We'll described it though yeah because it was really about how you react to something and yeah. But it was amazing like you really admire those people. Yeah. But I guess it wasn't proof of the power of God for me. I I saw it more as proof of like the power of of. Faith of belief right? You're relief. Yeah of like. Reminded me of alcoholics anonymous really like the twelve steps or they're like you gotta like believe in a higher power to like except. You know your sobriety and like maintain. Yeah which can of like is like. I think a lot of people they say like you don't have to. Actually believe in God. But you had to like serve submit to a higher power. Say there's something in that. Yeah weapons of the spirit he called who'll turn of phrase yeah. Like it allowed people to do remarkable things. Yeah. Yeah. No I do find that like if I believe in stuff, it does make I do feel. More. Like emboldened in doing like in my choices. Yeah. Yeah it's. It's. It's interesting because it's like finding that balance I think has like. I don't know 'cause like I, feel like. Yeah I. Know You're on your a good. It's a good thought that you. Really. Religion can go so far in the extreme where it's caused wars and all this other stuff but there's like you know. But then if you think if you like. If you have a faith in you. Utilize it correctly then it could be powerful. That's a good point. Is that like? It's like most things you're probably better off if you're somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. Yeah. Like if you to intensely religious kind of closed off then if you're super anti religious, there's also some negative things that come with that, right? Yeah. If you have some kind of like more measured approach, we've got two good with the bad and leave out the rest. Yeah. Yeah. That's that is probably like the most ideal way to do it yeah yeah. Watch spotlight. which like you see? A, lot of good good in their. Journalism but. Be. Yeah that's that was a tough movie. Yeah. The end the. Laugh they're like. Here's here's after this article came out here's the list of cities where like scandals were exposed and then it's like every city in America and. The list just goes on. Both. I grew up with were bad guys. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. To varying degrees but both were And it was both in the sexual, department? Yeah Yeah. Yeah. I was for some reason as a kid I was never exposed and stuff. Good to. Like I wasn't even aware of it. I mean, we weren't aware of it and we talked about it. The kids did we'd be like, oh. Dude that father's like Hansie and stuff but it. But also we weren't getting I think some kids got it worse than others. But we're like. I know we talked about it, but it didn't feel real and then when it got really but so obvious to everyone. Oh, my God of course is hiding in plain sight like the guy was like super handy say weird things to you was like grope you. beat me up one time in class like weird stuff. Yeah and then none of it felt weird because you'd look up to them. Yeah. Yeah. You did think that they were closer to guy which is what makes it even worse is that they abused that. Yeah, that like loyalty from their the people who listen to them. Or. That Yeah, it's weird. Yeah. Yeah. That's movie but yet at the article is good. But. I don't know. So. What does he practice a? Certain religion. I don't think he says he was raised Christian. I think sometimes to the he I think other people have lobbed this criticism. Adam. I think he goes into something. With like a thesis and then he Kind of conform to what he gets. You know he's like like, why did a lot of politicians lose the parent? And then I'm I'm sure he did have some more specificity in there but that just felt like such a broad general thing that happens it almost felt like you could pick. You know. It can be like you know, why did most people who become big politicians like you know? Loser Change Best Friends in high school are grade scores, accounts everybody. Yeah. But I don't know it's interesting. And then we read an article about a myths about stock diversification for the Wall Street Journal. This tough did yeah. What did you think about their myth one about diversifying a portfolio beyond twelve to eighteen stocks offers no benefits. I mean it just It disrupted everything I thought I knew about the precipitation, right? Yeah. Because I thought it was like twenty. Sure you now. How did you feel? When, against what I thought was the conventional wisdom had to read it twice because I thought it meant the opposite the first time, and then I got the real meaning the second time agreed with it both times which I really think speaks to the paradoxes and investment. Yeah it's so yeah you bring up such a good point I mean because I guess i. Know, I wasn't aware of the rule, but that's sort of wild. They really have stock and Billabong yet. It's a ton of stock. You Trust the company Yeah you put all your eggs into one basket. Well, watch blue crush YUP. Emery Chadwick playback Kelly baas worth. Kate. Bosworth. Thanks Dude was just whistle around the highway on it. Oh do that fires me up? Yeah. Felt a little bit more inspired. I think being in the studio. Gets me a little bit more in touch with manscaping ethos I. Feel that. Yeah. Yeah. It's swirling around the room walls here. Yeah. If these walls could talk, they would know a lot about Truman peeves. Absolutely. Absolute- if Louis Sorry. There's this one line. There's a song by Sam Hunt called body like a back road just good good good song title and one of the lines is doing fifteen in thirty. He's driving slower than you can. Oh interests. Yeah. He's because he's enjoying the ride. Yeah. It's a metaphor for sex but like okay, it's still even just as driving that way would be fun. Yeah. You never think about that everyone always wants to go faster. Yeah. He's like I'm doing fifteen in a thirty. Yeah I didn't know hurry this does he do immediately on that? Like everyone's behind him pissed off. I used to do that. Do you ever do that? You drive really slow on the road and just pile up cars? To do a lot. Do one time one time I. Did it so long yeah, literally. Put the emergencies on the car and got out of the car and just started telling people was broken. Really. Yeah. How long do you do that for I? Think probably like. Ten minutes, eleven, minutes, and what age. Eighteen seventeen. Yeah, interesting. My brother do it with me and he was a really good actor. Yeah he did a great the car's broken face. Really. That's hilarious yeah. It was fun. Wow. I never really thought of doing that. Yeah it's. It's weird that. I had an older cousin who did it but I think he did it because I asked him to okay. You know what I got it from my friend Ian at an older friend Ian who used to do it. He just like a prankster and. I think. So I to me it fell normalized. What was the reaction you got? Do you not even remember any specifics from that one. I just just be when people would drive by and just like the look of. Just horror they've. Look, they couldn't believe what was going on. Just. Really through monkey wrench and everything. Really fucked up. One time a I thought this was so hilarious when I did. Buddy Sean and we had John Cupping we peed inside of it. Filled. Up. With P. And we put on the road and this car hit it. Like, exploded and then just shower the car and P. Right and now I'm like that was. Super Cool Yeah but at the time. It was the funniest thing that's ever happened yet. It's weird. That is really funny though. Teenagers. Are Monsters Yeah. Yeah. I was getting. I was picking up some today this Hawaiian. Fish place whose. Kids are walking in there. Barefoot no mask just walking in like Hawkin Luby's yeah. You're just like you just like a trash. Yeah trash man. Yeah. Yeah. We just don't understand like it's hard for them to understand especially if you're like he there. You know someone has probably had like a long day at work they WANNA get home right. They wanted to go make dinner watch like a game or something and then a jumba juice cupful piss just showers their car. Yeah there's nothing worse than that. Yeah and they yeah, I mean I it's hard to it's hard to have that perspective as a as a young child. Yeah you just don't think about consequences much. Yeah, and also I think you get into these things where you're just heightening like your friends system and crazy, and then your brain gets rush of excitement from the crazy thing. They said, you're like it feels good and you're like, Oh, I'm going to say something crazier and then you say something crazier and words to you at that. At that age aren't attached meaning or the history of that word just attached the excitement that you get from the word degree. Right some people are actually much smarter more mature at that time but like I'm talking about like crazy whoever else hanging out with. You just get so supercharged on just saying crazy things. Yeah. Heightened Zesco or doing crazy things name not do you know what I mean like someone gets mooned and then they fall down and then someone like snacks a piece of Ham on their ass? Yeah and then someone else jumps and bites the Ham and then and then pretty soon you're like do crazy place right now. Yeah. Like you're eating ham off that guys ask yeah but it's just It's just how things get ramped up. Yeah. It's a combination of like young t adolescents and Ham. Yeah. An ASS. Yeah. I. Mean something it's going to happen things go down come together in ways you can never forecast. Yeah. Yeah..

"Jetskis Yup. Wave runners. Foam it where one of you guys has to kind of lose his mind. Where the Stoke get so loud and significant that one guy just rips his shirt open. You know what I mean. It's got to be an act of of of of wild. Wild expression like you're just so fucking. Pont year boys are just laughing, talking about a memory from like when you all were twelve, and like someone was like biking backwards naked, and that was the funniest thing I ever saw, and he just rip your Shirt Arba. And then they'll also ripping their shirts off and pretty soon. You've got the tattered shirts of your heads, and you're swinging them, and then you're like wait, but we're supposed to go out tonight and everyone's like. Oh, well, we gotta wear some different. Everyone's like. Let's wear white linen shirts, and then you all go out in an Alpha and suddenly out of that spontaneous expression comes a plan you know. I gotta add on top of that though baby. HAIRPIECES got blond hairpiece Heathrow that on I mean. In college whenever whenever we really truly wanted to, you know. Get into like on the do tour of raging. We would put blonde hairpieces on an shades, and he just lose it. I mean I literally had an body experience at the Squirt Locker House. Like for like five hours do epic Yeah hairpieces are fired when you put those hairpieces on watch the speech from any given. Sunday about life is a game of inches. Watch something inspiring. That'll just fucking. Get all you guys real fixated on real fixed on the moment you know. And did mixes really well with stoke doors like my favorite moment in college was when my Buddy Mason. And now we're GONNA go to this huge house party and we were like just prepping for it and when he really wanted to cap the moment off. I went to the bathroom, and then his door was closed and I was like Mason. Let's roll. He hasn't opened his door. He kicks through his door and breaks through it. Like the whole, that's what I'm saying and then when we came back, there's a hole in his door. Oh, and you know what I did after that. I kicked a hole in my door. Yes, that's what I'm saying. Spontaneous expression. It becomes a movement, yeah! It can spark a movement. Yeah, I hope you guys don't have any whole doors that is. Make Your own hole? Yeah, I love that. Yeah, you gotTa do stuff like that and doing stuff as a team as always good like when you all unite and Kinda put on like. All Right? Here's what we're all. We're all going to do this thing. We're all going to start every conversation by using the word apple for the rest of the night. Yeah! I. Don't know stuff like that it can. It can be very bonding. And then it just makes you remember your friends and you just want to kiss so nice yeah. All right last question. What's going on dudes? Times are rough right now, but it's been great listening to your pods and getting the inspiration. I need to keep the sweat flowing. Thanks these Dank guests. You've had on lately. One thing I cannot seem to figure out during these times is my feelings for my ex girlfriend for a small backstory. We were friends for about six years. We're both rising high school seniors and she's even my main squad earlier this year. She told me she had feelings for me and after much thought. I decided to give a shot. We share multiple common interests and she's very cute, so I figure we might be able to pull off a relationship. But something on my end cannot seem to click and I truly believe that we are better off his friends. I was beginning to think about how I should go about breaking up with her when she takes me about how upset she is with her parents, her parents do not support. The black lives matter movement and shut her down every time. She says anything that goes against their beliefs pretty fucked up right. I feel like breaking up there right now would make her even more upset especially because I think. She thinks I have more romantic feelings for do I am stumped on how to approach this Bros., part of me wants to wait until she can find peace with their parents, and I could provide emotional support for in the meanwhile, but I know this would not be right for the both of us I really hope. There will be a way for us remained friends after this. She is very dear to me any help on how to go about this will be greatly appreciated. I would've sweet conscience Astute He's got obi-wan-kenobi you and McGregor's OB, one from Phantom menace, or now from the he's got longer, so it's probably from the what's revenge of the Syringe. Yeah Yeah as his photo. It's nice. Damn Dude. Yeah feel for your girl Dude I i. You know I'm I'm lucky. My folks will let me even if we disagree the. Let Me Hammer on Steph and they're always pretty receptive. So thanks, moment died. I, don't know dude, I think. You know if you do your best to support black lives matter. I think you can break up with your girlfriend, even if for. Parents beef with her about. that. Upset about. Yeah I don't know Aaron. What do you think dude? Sorry what? Dude. All right. I think. I think. I think the answer is probably obvious, but. Some hits he started dating his his friend from six years, right his friend from really good friends in high school. She's really into him. He's not into her. She's in the squad. They're very very good friends. He wants to remain friends and he cares about her so much. She's beefing with their parents about black lives matter. and. She's really upset that they're not supporting the cause. And so doesn't want to break up with her now because she's already sad about that. I mean nearly making it worse hanging in there. I think. I think yeah, yeah, I mean there is no perfect time, yeah! I. Mean You just GonNa keep waiting and waiting and. And you you, you're GONNA. Find excuses for like. Oh now. She's kind of sad about that or whatever. I think he just got. You cut the head off the snake. Yeah, exactly like. It's so true what you're saying. Yeah, like easier said than done I. Mean I I. I can't apply those things. But it's good. You're so conscientious, but did you just got to break up with her? She'll be fine. Her parents will work through this. They've got issues that don't involve you. You just got to break up with their. Yeah, and then you know. And, and if you WANNA, stay friends with their. Just give her some time. She'll get over, and then you guys can be friends again. Also real talk is Bellum. BLIGH's matter stuff is not going anywhere anytime soon, so unless you're. Ready to get married to her right? Go Yeah. Yeah. And also dude if you stay with her forever. And then he gets up getting married. You'RE GONNA have to deal with their race. Assess parents. You don't WanNa deal with that. You wouldn't have grandkids and have a racist as parents telling them telling the kids. About their values, you don't want that. Just pint. Yeah All right. All right. "Yeah, I was like I don't WanNa do that I'm tired I just want to, but then once you start doing this is the best, and that's weird thing in our brains. It's like no I don't want to do what you have to do that. Yeah, yeah, you get like resentful that you have to go have fun. It's like. Yeah, you got to think about all the effort it takes. Yea, I think it's harder to with like the Q. Teen and stuff 'cause like. You know. I'm so used to just sitting on my couch like. Eighteen hours of the day. And then so when I actually go, do stuff. It's just like you know. Oh Yeah I got put on pants all that all that stuff and we feel justified in staying home where it's like being safe. Yeah, you know what I mean I'm a good boy. Good boy! Stay safe I protect others don't go outside. Yeah, yeah, it's like all right. Do you really believe that or is that just like kind of convenient? Circumstance yeah, yeah, she's really cool. She's really super smart. That's great. Yeah, she's cool. Even, though she leaked on me. She might be mad. I talked about it. She listen. I don't know I. Think I think. She said she tried. What else is going on? Dude, so it's been crazy time in America right now, We're going through a Lotta changes. and. I think a lot of it's good. I'm pumped on it. The protesting and the change and the United Front that that we're surrounded by that that is fighting for good, but I've also been just like. Overwhelmed by the amount of like it backing out the of the 'cause. Like like the Corp- corporations. We're on board with this call of duty, yeah Yeah, it's just straight up. Like before we play this game reminder. You know! Black lives matter. Thank you well I also think they're hitting a demo that needs to hear it of all the companies that are reaching out to demos that need to hear it I think all duty is the most. Yeah. That's the audience that needs to hear it. Yeah, yeah, before they go into the war zone. Remember that there is unity that's even more important than your wars team. Yeah! Yeah, it's like take take the energy you have for your squad the zone and for Dansk, yeah and bring that out into the world. Yeah, I think my favorite is Peleton. Dude, right? Yeah, heard about this dude. It's insane. Yeah, because the instructors are talking about it. Yeah, and they really get into it. You know what I mean. Especially the African Americans and it fucking. It's not about me, but it makes me pedal my fucking ass off, dude, my outputs insane. Really Yeah, they'll be like. Do you feel comfort? You should feel discomfort. That's why for the last two minutes this bike ride. I'm not going to tell you how to push I. Want you to choose to live in that discover. Will you make that choice and I'm like? Yeah and just like shredding my yeah. You quads, quads yeah. With, my glued stood. Yeah, it's really getting me pumped up there making me pedal like a motherfucker. It's It's very inspiring I. It's so weird to like. Be being inspired about this huge social change that's happening in our country virtually through A. A bicycle. That's awesome. I didn't realize they updated those. Classes that often oh, yeah, that's cool, so lily watched the situation evolve. Yeah, through the eyes of my Peleton instructor. Yeah, and this corporations helping me stay connected to what's going on. It is pretty Pretty amazing to see like how you know how widespread! It is it's it's everywhere oh? Yeah I mean. Serve Company in like surf companies. There's like. Almost every time a company has something about. You know this whole change and stuff, social change and I. It's really inspiring, and it's It's interesting to see. I've just been falling surf companies. You know and they're kinda getting each other's ass if you haven't spoken up yet. Your silence is violence violence. Yes, so speak up Hurley. Early speaking sporadic. We love and I love her. Yeah possess them. Like I think. Speak up no fear. What's going on? No fear like we've been out of business for twenty years yeah. You gotTA. EXCUSE ACE on fighting no fear you'RE GONNA fight no fear. Of losing proposition, yeah, no fear has a fear of standing up for what's right. They should lean into it. It's also I'm a little suspicious of some of them like Amazon. I thought that guy from the hill. Who is on Rogan's podcast made a good point where they're like. Amazon loves that the conversations about black lives matter right now because it means no one's focusing on like their immense greed, and how they undercut like small businesses and how? Unfair working conditions for their factory. People like yes. Let's just keep talking about this other thing and then yeah. Yeah, and we'll get good press for that without anybody really investigating us for our misdeeds. They fired. They fired the black guy who was trying to form a union because they weren't providing p. Really Yeah? Dude, did you see that? Apparently ten percent of the jobs brab brought back in the economy have been in the dental profession. Yeah. It's interesting issues. Come back, strong dude, you know people have had their doubts. People have hey tried to hate on it. They're like dude. Fuck the Dennis. I'm never going back and. Then is always just waiting there. Just like dude. You'll be back you need. It was like it felt like the first thing. A lot of people did like people I talked to. Look I'm getting back out there. I'm living my life I went to the dentist the other right? Yeah, yeah, it's interesting to with covert 'cause. You're opening your mouth I. Mean those respiratory droplets are friggin flying. Yeah, you're putting yourself in the dangers. Yeah when they're drilling. Yeah, I mean it flies up. There's no protection from that Nah. So yeah, that's interesting I My Dad wanted me to be a dentist I. Remember you telling me that. Yeah, it was like Dad. You know I spoke. He's like like look Chad. It's it's a good lifestyle. You know you can have your own schedule you can. You can go live in Santa Cruz in just like surfing than fill cavities and. It's my dad I misspoke Lord. Nothing drains. Stoke more than a trip to the dentist. He's coming now, but you know he's just looking out for me. Why did he want you to be a dentist? He. Just thinks they have a great. Lifestyle essentially a mean. You earn a good living you have. Your hours aren't bad. You know you can pretty much set your own schedule, and so it's not overwhelming. And like surgery is just like. You know eighteen hundred hours a week plus yeah dentistry Geena you can mellow out a little bit and. People are always going to have to have their teeth worked on, so he always talks about that, too. He's like what's going to be around. In one hundred years, still dentistry and her. What people. What do people still invest in turn the great? Depression entertainment. Something else I forget. Yeah, one I feel like. Teeth there's no way technology's going to subvert teeth right? Yeah, or the way we take care of teeth right. I don't like. Can Robots do that? That's like the last the last robot jobs dentist. I wouldn't WanNa robot going in there. He.

Bryce Harper has no regrets entering Year 2 with Phillies: 'Just so happy to be here'

"Mind a calendar year after Philadelphia made so many big moves Bryce Harper ended up there they were the focus of much of the offseason storyline I guess last year you couldn't go anywhere Scott without people saying what do you think Miller Machado Harper Machado are gonna end up now the Phillies seemingly after a disappointing year managerial change finer the radar a bit is is that fair to say still an incredible amount of talent secure for Bryce Harper but I find them kind of intriguing in a division that's just loaded loaded loaded loaded yeah I mean that that that east is going to be very interesting I mean I was at Matt's camp I think the day before I was in Jupiter perhaps it was either the day before I saw the cardinals or the day after I mean the Mets rotation I've got like six or seven starters buying for five spots you know it's not just a gram center guard but it's strong man and I mean even Rick Porcello who has a sigh young on his resume and or sell and and and Michael Walker and you know I mean it pieces could fall together well there you know Atlanta is done really well the last couple years and yeah I mean in clear water today you know a ton of optimism I mean you know you would think you know Bryce Harper is kind of on the Manny Machado program both of them had such chaotic offseasons a year ago that you know you would think with everything calmed down yeah baby our world in his second year have a have or even you know better year last year or so so some of these numbers you know we were pretty good but others by his standards warrant I'm talking to him today yeah the biggest thing disappointed in him as he finished with a less than a hundred walks in he said there's no way I should ever have less than our walk so yeah that suggested that he would you know he was kind of maybe a little too eager not as patient last year but you think of our comes back big thing with them is that somebody injuries last year you don't have a conscience back yes I don't know if he's gonna be ready for the start of the season but he should be ready shortly there after yeah Koch and you know they were her last year with with this many you know knee injury Arianna was hurt hello while last year the young couple their relievers war the LG but if I get a little bit of good good lot of hell yeah JT real Miro's probably that is gonna catchers there is in the game right now and yeah you put him in Bryce Harper yeah add a DD Gregorius from the Yankees he'll play shortstop and she's a girl bounce over to sac and there's there's a lot to like about this team you know I heard all of the bounce back year but they added yeah nation as well Yolanda talent we will get over that side this you were there last year and holy cow you just you know look at and what they have on paper all of the guys they can throw at you during the spring so these games when you see you know twenty five thirty guys it's it's remarkable so that that division is going to be some to see and I don't know make maybe the nationals team that actually won the World Series maybe they're fine under the radar as well because of everything so maybe some you know sleeping giants in the NL east from a storyline standpoint yeah exactly I mean you're right I will talk about the bats in the Phillies and and yeah all the national there yeah and by the way there already we're dealing like the forgotten team looks like you're right could you imagine he's going to beat them last year and then this all came out and they were sharing a complex is all that would be so bad that it would be first of all you're right just in the west Palm Beach it would be really awkward at that complex second of all for baseball I mean thank god I didn't wait a second time in three years last year that would be it would be even worse than it is right now Scott Miller from bleacher report Turner sports big league

Pardons Granted by President Donald Trump

"But as I pointed out it was a pardon frenzy yesterday that was all the talk all the rage across the national airwaves and of course local airwaves as to president trump and his decision to pardon and or commute sentences for a lot of prominent people in some not so proud and we want your thoughts as well to hear on the phone line seven oh two two five seven five three nine six as we discuss the president and his decision to pardon these die and grant clemency on Tuesday to eleven people who serve prison sentences for crimes in high profile cases ranging from gaming fraud and tax evasion to drug related charges now trump who has a broad clemency powers granted by the constitution we understand this right grand full pardons our full legal forgiveness for a crime to seven people commuted and shorten the sentences of four others now obviously presents seven party people for years and we acknowledge that we understand that and occasionally there's been situations where presidents across the board at pardon people that are controversial right that are you take a look at you said you now I don't necessarily think that was the right thing to do wasn't it I don't understand why you decided pardon this person over it over another and the eight calls into question credibility of the individual but with Donald Trump it it is interesting take a look at the individuals that he has decided to partner can either sense and of course when you talk about high profile maybe nobody more high profile than rob boy it bubble ball go eight H. and this obviously rob luggage was a prominent politician in Illinois for a for a number of years Abbas the governor of Illinois and there is this perception out there of politics in that state and it's not a good one okay it's a it's a it's a reputation that corruption runs wild that it's the wild wild west even though its Illinois in the Midwest and that are you that is you know more so maybe than any other state in the country it has a bad reputation so the fact that the president would decide on robin we'll go live H. to be one of the people pardon I I think is a prize is a lot of people now to give you the details basically rob all I get is it is a formula governor sort of forty eight was serving a fourteen year presents for federal charges that uses powers as governor to extract campaign money and other favors for potential contenders for the Illinois Senate seat that was left open by president Obama when when he be actually took office now troubles previously asserted that but boy that should Democrat who appeared as a guest on the president's program he's not slip your prince was treated very very unfairly there's a there's a running theme here with president trump is it's when when he discusses the reasoning behind these pardons it always is these people around you know these people have suffered these people are you know they're getting railroaded they've been wronged as people at by the way the convicted felons okay this isn't it a pity party for people that are you know serving hard time for crimes a day they had been convicted of committing all right so you've got blue eyes itch you also have obviously high profile a person in Bernard Kerik he's the former police commissioner in New York a lot of this remember him as a really one of the prominent people along with governor jewelery she's the mayor Giuliani in New York City during nine eleven he was the New York City police commissioner who was very lauded for his response the nine eleven attacks rightly so in my opinion apparently but unfortunately for him he was sent to four years in prison after he pleaded guilty to felony charges of tax fraud and lying to White House officials while being interviewed to head the department of homeland security he served three years in federal prison before his release in two thousand thirteen there's also another I'm not a number of other prominent people that have been pardon we talk about Eduardo junior form on the same school forty Niners a lot of people in sports obviously no he is he was fined one million as part of the gambling fraud case in Louisiana like nineties you got Michael Milken a rope funny it's here talked about as the junk bond king pleaded guilty in nineteen ninety to several counts of securities in tax violations an announcement of his pardon the White House described him as one of America's greatest financiers and credit is work fighting prostate cancer I'm you also have our you'll free lawyer he's a founder and chief executive officer ET understands that there's kind of a pattern going on here free learner will you know was the CEO of an Arlington Virginia based software company pleaded guilty in two thousand fourteen serve two months in prison for conspiring to hack into your computer system the two competitors yeah Paul Paul pope who is a the owner of a Texas construction company plead guilty and sense of three years in prison in two thousand ten for filing a false federal tax return and there's there's David survey Safavian Viet Safavian's give me and a I enjoy stand also who has been part enlisting was an author Dr a reality TV star served time in prison for her part in a stolen car ring and I so I don't I guess you would characterize Angela Stanton necessarily as a white collar criminal but does she is now a trump supporter advocate for criminal justice reform and the goddaughter of Martin Luther king junior's politically conservative niece L. B. two K. and she spoke also at the two thousand eighteen women for trump conference and frankly post pro trump messages or Twitter account so there is a there's kind of running pattern here when it comes to these Florio pardons that the president has decided to engage and the funny thing would be white collar crime for the most part right and criminals who have been convicted of crimes obviously nonviolent crimes they are not talking about you know serial rapist here not talking about mass murderers by any stretch but there is a there's kind of a running theme here as JT shop judges your lives to and I don't think I'm online G. by pointing this out that well it is very very it's very intriguing to say the least right that the president of the United States is decided to pardon these types of individuals in any of these individuals spend time in el Chapo cell in NC si I would suspect not I think that does want one of those the the person you're talking about I'm to my glove not is getting a raw deal on that with that situation six does not at least I don't I don't expect they did have to deal with that with with that type of

He's really are amazing. aspirational and something that Makes points worth it for me. So on the flip side I have had a lot of problems with the integration. They are now fully integrated program with Starwood Arwood but there was some serious serious rocky roads and lost points to get there So that was. That's been the worst part for me the last couple of years. Yeah there's been a lot of complaints about it's not just me. Yeah we'll get to that. Jt How about you. For I. H G best thing in worst thing about it. Yeah the reason why she is. The promotions are really great. The rewards program especially with credit cards. You get great night's for cheap. The worst they would definitely be a lack of hotel benefits like guaranteed late. Checkout even has a top tier. I don't get that or breakfast at all hotel brands and you're a top tier elite at a lot of hotel brands. And we'll get just a little bit Carita. As far as Hilton best thing and worse thing I would say Hilton is probably my favorite because it has the most accessible elite status so you get the most bang for your buck with your top tier status. I'd say probably the worst thing is how they tend to devalue their own points Frequently and without notice. Yeah if you're into the the point smiles but some people may just like Hiltons in general. That's true yeah. And Zach Hyatt like I said before points in miles favorite best and worst thing. Thanks for letting me take this one home because the clear clear win for high at here Hi. It's top tier. Elite status is easily the most rewarding of all of them They're fantastic about offering consistent benefits across all the different hotels whether it's confirmed sweet upgrades guaranteed late. checkouts breakfast everywhere under the sort of like exclusions that you get with some of the other chains and earning and burning points with height is super easy transferable currencies from trace and Yeah the only real issue is you can't find height everywhere Hi It's a portfolio is a little bit more limited than the other larger legacy chains but Hyatt. If it's in a place you're traveling going to. It's often the best hotel to choose but some people would argue that the key point of a hotel what you need the most is for them to be one there where you need it and that is somewhere somewhere highest serious For sure and hides doing its due diligence there. And they've had some recent acquisitions some other hotel chains so hopefully they will continue on that making a lot of party partnerships small luxury hotels taking over to Tallahassee so they have integrated more properties into their portfolio. But yes agreed. Are y'all crazy so I have heard High at yeah. They're Nice but you probably won't have one where you are and I've heard ice she. You don't really get anything being elite and I've heard Hilton. Yeah your points may be worth nothing tomorrow and yet here. y'All sit defending. These is the best loyalty programs. It's really quite entertaining. Maria does have the most hotel Marriott has close to seven thousand properties around the world. They do have legit elite status benefits. I love my free breakfasts. This is the selection. I make as a platinum when I check in and yeah they do have some properties have gone up in points but it typically isn't a surprise that just happens overnight so I think you'll lost already. We can wrap it up now. I think Mary also has its own HASHTAG bond void. It does so what is it. People who may not know what is point is is is the term that people use when they get unexpectedly screwed over by Marriott may or may not have also been yes I also was bond void So so that's no no. They might be now. How far do you have to fall when you're already starting with not much like with Marriott? You go in with high expectations tation so get knocked down a little bit. You still come out ahead. I've been bond void and yet I have also been saint. Regis it even unfair though at this point to say with that you are going in with high expectations when it comes to customer service I really I have had real problems where I had hours and hours on the phone. I've written stories about these on the points guy real frustration legit but I will say most of those are now in the rear view mirror. I'M NOT GONNA say it's not still happening to someone but a lot of the problems. uh-huh were centered around reservations made before the two programs merged and we're pretty much past the date or our past the date now. That's even possible so I'm not saying you can't that still have problems of Marriott but I can say that I'm not really having those anymore and I had some big ones. If I was still going through that day after day with Marriott I would have said Cya Nahra eh but I'm not and so instead I'm just living it up. You know at the Western snowmass and skiing out for thirty five thousand points tonight. What about that? Yeah yeah well the only issue though is right you have seven thousand hotels and you talk about you. Know you haven't been bond void nearly as frequently as maybe you are back in the day when the merger what's happening but how hotels how consistent are hotels in delivering your early benefits by upgrade. That might be a problem but in fairness I I wasn't getting the day of complimentary sweet grades frequently with high at either right but I also have four certificates that can use to confirm upgrades and each up to seven eight. Yeah exactly and we're talking about standard suites at top Tier Properties Park. Hyatt's we can go onto battle. Who has the most luxurious hotels? But I'm going to be staying in a suite and most likely as a platinum. You probably are. Well you're right however I travel with two kids so there's four of us in a room. A suite actually isn't useful anymore. It was there was a period of time where sweets were the ultimate and that is when I was a high at globalist or diamond at the time but now sweetshop one bed and then some light crummy sofa pullout so if you need a sweet you know maybe hired is a good thing to focus on for for that period of time in your life. But I'm at a time. Any beds in a room and so sweet upgrade for me is is useless most of the time. I'd rather have an awesome hotel exactly where I want it to beat beat and a few hundred more square feet most of the time speaking of upgrades one of the things about Hilton diamond status. That a lot of people complain about is that so you don't get confirmed upgrades. It's at the discretion of each individual property. Correct that's correct. I will say even though I don't have confirmed sweet upgrades. I have played in large large number of nights and home properties across the world and I've gotten upgraded on sweets on awards days on page days. Basically it's just the US. I think where you're shafted in terms of the sweet upgrades but everywhere else and the rest of the world you're getting in but you think that Hilton is at a slight disadvantage. Because of that because of these other chains that maybe do confirm Swede upgrades think it just depends on what your priorities are in the same in the same way that summer says I'd rather have a reliable quality hotel all across the world. And maybe I'll have a suite upgrade. Maybe I won't but I at least know that I'm going to have key benefits. It's available to me at a high quality level and on the flip side as far as earning top tier status. It's probably easiest with help. I'm just going to go ahead and just throughout throughout that Hilton aspire card because everyone else is just you guys have no game You know interest in terms of light barrier to entry to top Tier Diamond Status Status or top Jerry Lee Status Hilton. Has Everybody beat all you need to do his own one credit card right so with Hilton. You don't have to choose to focus all your stays on Hilton. You can just have a card and keep it in your pocket when you need. Ah The aspires a tremendous card But even if you just have the platinum or one of the less expensive Hilton Cards. That's all we had. We Have Hilton Gold status went to Bora Bora got free breakfast. All of us every single day which was like almost two hundred dollars in value and just with gold with gold status matched. Although I could've just done it for my platinum platinum card as well so I think Chris is right. There's definitely the lowest barrier to entry with Hilton But you don't actually have to make it your program if you don't want to with Marriott right you're gonNA have to make your program to get those elite benefits that you

A CAmpaign To End The Celebration Of New Years

"Welcome to the promised by gas. Brought to you on T. l. v. one the voice of the city whose worthies and Burgers in the nineteen thirties launched a campaign against the celebration of New Year's which in mandatory Palestine as in Modern Day Israel was known as Sylvester the name borrowed from Pope Sylvester the first thirty third pope of the Catholic Church who was buried and in the catacombs of Priscilla in Rome on December thirty first and who was beatified on December thirty first date became known as Saint Sylvester's Day or the Feast of Saint Sylvester which feasts came to stand for the reveries of the night dividing the last day of the year from the first day of the New Year in Israel as in Austria Italy Lee Bosnia Germany Slovenia Slovakia Switzerland Luxembourg left in China Poland and the Czech Republic France Croatia and probably elsewhere as well now on December remember twenty seven thousand nine hundred eighty four for instance. The paper hired-in reported that the city had been plastered with posters quote sponsored by the rabbinate and the the Hebrew community calling for residents not to celebrate this holiday Silvester as it is foreign to the spirit of Judaism they ask the owners of houses of pleasure and cafes not to rent their rooms for these purposes and quote Davar reported in the same year that deputy mayor Easter Iraq who fifteen years later would ascend to to mayor addressed the city council about quote the question of the holiday of Sylvester that is setting down roots in Tel Aviv. FEE proposal of Mr Rocca was accepted saying at the city council of Tel Aviv sees in the foreign custom of Sylvester celebrations a definitely unwanted thing which is in opposition to the spirit and traditions of the people title of Israel and asks all cafe owners and owners of large halls in the city not to organize Sylvester parties. A committee was chosen to speak with cafe owners owners etc about this matter and quote a year later in nineteen thirty five the municipality itself published this notice quote the city sees itself as obligated to remind owners of cafes and restaurants this year once again of the need to refrain from having public celebrations in honor of Sylvester Eve. This custom to celebrate the holiday of Sylvester believe in public Jewish circles in the Hebrew city harms the national lifestyle that is taking form in the land of our forefathers. This claim is aimed also at the General Oh public some of whom admittedly only a few make a practice of celebrating this holiday with debauchery and loud social parties obviously the municipality and the the citizens of the city will treat with respect anything undertaken and done in honor of this day by those residents of the city and their guests who are not Jewish for this is their holiday and quote in a year after that in one thousand nine thirty six of our reported after the fact that quote several cafes such as the Lawrence and Savoy had special holiday programs in Tel Aviv. There there were many private Sylvester parties mostly from the circles of immigrants from Germany until morning. There was much car traffic and many walking on foot. One of these people who return to his home home after midnight under the influence of alcohol startled the volunteer firefighters with a false report of a fire end quote in nineteen thirty nine. The paper beaucaire made its feelings things about known with a one line article with a banner headline on page three the article in its entirety. Read quote on Silvester Eve. Eleven people committed suicide in new. You Work and quote in one thousand nine forty. The religious paper hot so fat reported this quote I witnesses say that a man of Israel at midnight in Tel Aviv especially in the North would forget that he lives in his own nation and land semester celebrations were celebrated in several coffee houses Jewish houses in the Hebrew city and whomever was indies coffee houses which elevated the celebration to the top of the top and drinking and debauchery would forget that we live in times of emergency. The New Year by the general accounting is not for us. It's the Jews. But it is a New Year for trade and bills and money's silvester celebrations are not Jewish celebrations in the land of Israel. Especially and only those who became habituated to these celebrations collaborations in foreign lands the lands of assimilation fail to Wean themselves of this habit. Even after they pass through all the circles of hell they returned to their iniquity in the land of Israel Israel. These are just one chapter of the spiritual and moral decline that is evident in our public life especially in the first Hebrew city the glorious tel.. Ah Vive end quote now to celebrate. Silvester Twenty twenty in the glorious Tel Aviv. There were hundreds of events for instance one could welcome the New Year with the Abba Tribute Band Carney or or go to Cooley Alma for their annual gala. Three for one Christmas New Years Novi Bash the bootleg was hosting a centers party quote unquote the hostile hosted hip hop new year's breakfast on Rothschild had funke Meli and these were just a fraction of what was on offer so grand was the celebration that the municipality itself posted this on facebook from the legendary Tel Aviv. EDM Club the block quote mayor e high. I don't feel so good. I won't be coming into work tomorrow and quote quote this post from Iraq Tel Aviv Tel Aviv municipality itself. Yes there was the battery in the city. All right one could pretty much find any form of depravity ones. Momma might have worn one against save perhaps for the badgering bullying browbeating of the burgers. About how you really shouldn't go to a drag show on New Year's in the first Hebrew city in the Jewish state and arguing nothing captures the spirit of the city. Well Tel Aviv. Dafa better than a tradition reaching back. Almost ninety years of offsetting the ideological severity doctrinaire rectitude a to enforce the citizen of the hidden who ain't kidding of joyless Orthodox Zionism and greeting each new year. Hal each new day with playful exuberance heterodox selective Goya's and lots and lots of alcohol and seeing the first Hebrew city is a place not just for spiritual fulfillment but also for fun fun fun and more heretical. 3 family members killed in fiery Las Vegas crash

"The talk about this horrible tragedy that took place on Thursday night for three people a family just ruined three people lost their lives a four year old girl a twenty nine year old in a forty eight year old woman losing their lives at the hands of a thirty nine year old driver that police say was driving out of control and recklessly and we still have two people that are in very critical condition a seventeen year old and a ten year old it happened in our community right here at the intersection of desert in and Durango where I frequently passed an intersection maybe I half a dozen times a day and we have been talking about this and we want to get some more details and of course weekly guest of the show correspondent Chris win was at the press conference this morning that just concluded Chris how you doing thanks for joining us Hey what's up Chris thank thank Brian thank you eighty it's good to talk to you guys of course the press coverage just wrapped up here at Las Vegas metro police headquarters here Joe Lombardo as well as numerous city officials and leaders held a press conference and it was important for a couple of reasons guys first of all of course the threat the horrific tragedy with the crash up on desert in Durango that took place on Friday that the allies the four people including three members of the same family of course Brian you pointed out the bills that are injured in the hospital right now no further detail beginning yet in response to exactly what does any if any charges will be will be filed given that the person actually because that is also to see but the reason I statement court press convert that because obviously we are what we are forty we are twenty four hours away from new year's eve here in Las Vegas and that was the focus of many of the leaders and well as sheriff will borrow as they wanted to point out awareness of B. W. I. and of course enforcement and what that means here in the city of Las Vegas so Chris up before we get to new year's eve and and the issue with drunk driving in this town did police give any further specifics for information on how this crash happened are how fast is this man or woman may have been going at what what specific information did you get from this press conference that perhaps we didn't know twenty four hours ago there was not at the end as far as detailed in response to what what the actual driver did that they've made good response was misleading there was no indication that you got you got a question about five minutes ago Brian as to whether where you're coming from that as yet not yet been established I am I I would expect that there in the early stages the investigations lab necessarily on these that information it was more so in the press number does more focus on the family and on and on the individual that are affected and also getting the word out and and getting awareness out to those in Las Vegas that Hey you gotta slow down you gotta take ownership of but of of your driving ability than what's going on and you cannot drive in there now as you go you got the ball pointed out it has not been established yet that this individual was under impairment there could have been a medical condition that that could have taken place but there's been an exercise here in common sense right guys I mean basically it I thought and assumption what is going on and they can say look you know the the the fact that he was speeding the fact that he basically was not staying within his travel lane and that he ends up we're renting a car in the intersection where everybody stops you can pretty much make induction right guys you can make you can make a determination that impairment than Kian as well as in its use is heading towards the Rango than he was actually heading up he was actually heading up hill and if that's the case and he had been driving pretty quickly I think that if he fell asleep or if you had a seizure he wouldn't of usually went once or falsely for their seizure at the wheel later maybe going thirty five forty miles an hour they're not going nine year hundred that that's true but but I I'm I'm I'm basically focusing on you know what that what what the the motivation is right as far as like as far as determining what was the car that crashed and getting it and what it is that it's a horrific tragedy without question and what makes this unique guys I think and what what was then the realm of obviously the October one shooting and other tragedies here is that if you can't put into words how devastating this is for the family it's it's a look I'm not trying to be a little any other accidents in the valley but normally guys right when there's a car accident normally there's one fatality maybe two right and and a lot of time they had to do with the actual negligence negligence of the driver went up being deceit this is the case and Brian you pointed out a grandmother a mother a daughter were all killed in this in this horrific fatality and that that's why I think it resonates so much with people here in Las Vegas that's why it has gotten it again or not you and then of course as I just pointed out we are on the heat we are are we are on the on the verge of happy new years eve near Las Vegas yeah I had it it was really about that I want to right we really focus yeah of the river city leaders and and careful borrow to point that out like that I want to get to them here's the yeah we don't want to get into any of that let's let's get to that one second I just have one more question it's about this question it's important to note there's a seventeen year old by the name of Emilio Martinez who was saved as walls of ten year old granddaughter destiny Martinez my understanding and this is very sad to report in and I spoke about this a little bit earlier the seventeen year old friends of the family are saying Emilio is most likely paralyzed and may never be able to walk again is burned throughout his body the ten year old from my understanding is still in a coma now they've set up a go fund me page and we're gonna put that up on our Twitter page did police talk at all about the victims any updates on their medical condition because last we heard it's not looking too good now the world ready I just exactly creek in the far as what their state was in the hospital I I would expect that in the coming days there though yeah obviously really for that information but you know again I I don't want to point out that the press stop was was focused on right on the on the tragedy but was also focus on prevention either but the young couple a couple of the leaders walked up to the podium and what's holding up newspaper headlines and pictures Brian a J. D. of the scene of the in this fiery crash that yeah that took place and again I can't I can't over emphasize this I mean that that's just the nature of the of the circumstances in this crash are why it's it's it's you know it's something that being focused on so much you have you have a number of cars that are basically bursting into flames that intersection not necessarily thing that you would expect to happen in a car accident like this so that I think the combination of those of those characteristics of what happened at the scene as well as the loss of life that was that was tremendous and that is just absolutely horrific and tragic I think that along with a combination of but the fact that we're never getting seven years eve is is read more it did give me well aware of the dangers of driving while impaired out there and of course you know your Las Vegas and ride you at JT talked about this as far as you know at the time of day it doesn't matter the time of day your Las Vegas because people it's a three ship out so there's people on the roads at all times a day in you know different types of impairment or different types of you know scenarios that they present that they put themselves and that just didn't say and so that was another key aspect that they want to point out was like that you know we are going to enforce it all any any type of driving under impairment or any type of you know do you why you're going to be held to the letter of the law and that and that was pretty much the extent of it so could start are you kind of saying that you think that the press coverage was more of a to to protect tourism type of thing because the optics of the situation that they really don't look very good and and do something at that's not really being brought up is the fact that this did take place in the intersection there was a gas station probably fifteen or twenty feet Dagnall to it had that had had the the fireball been closer that gas station is bigger and I would have been it could have been a a major major explosion answering all all the gas there yet to get quite gate I brought that up we shared one body out I have a question about the good Samaritan right that were on the scene this of billion not exactly the first responders on the police officers that ended up showing up there but the people I ask them you know I'm always apple was that it you know because I did want to present the question away at all it could have been much worse because obviously was still a horrible tragedy but basically the jet my question was that I wanted to you know get it eight on the billion then what they were able to do at the scene and yeah absolutely parade being the people there that look they're not police officer they weren't you know firefighters first responders were trained to deal with the situation and yet there were you know there were individuals there that were civilians that absolutely save lives and Brian you brought up of course the circumstance the people in the hospital if you know the fact of the matter is that if those people hadn't jumped quickly and had acted quickly those people that are not firefighters they're not least officers there will be more fatalities in the strategy and make no mistake looking much work you're right you're right and make no mistake about it those good Samaritans are they are the true definition of what a hero is someone who risks his or her life to save the lives of others and you know as I said that there's no question that if there weren't good Samaritans out there I I don't doubt the fact that those two kids would not be alive right now so certainly we wish them the best in the hospital if you're just joining us we're speaking with Chris one who was just at the metro headquarters at the press conference talking about the latest information on this car accident this day the crash that took the lives of four people at the intersection of desert in Durango just a few

A Blanket Full of Bacon

"This is Shirley. I'm joined by my co host. Jim Wilkin JT English. I wish we should just give you everything off the it was just a repository Eh. One day we will put that on. Today's episode we are an ax to look at a blanket. Full of Bacon in acts chapter. Ten hope you enjoyed the discussion hey. Jt why did did you immediately come in here and make fun of my Mug. There's this problem like we have these huge coffee mugs in here right now and I can't fit my coffee Mug in my ears. Looks like it in your mind ends Jenas but it's big like that's like a gallon or so over there we had a microphone in there. The microphone with your your Coffee Mug. It's a to hold it with both hands. Yes driving a small bucket. uh-huh drive and your yeah. This is interesting Well we are back. And today we're talking about acts chapter ten and a blanket full of Bacon And so just figuring out what's happening in acts chapter ten and well you know what. Let me tell you something. You're you're never going to indict me for not having an interesting episode title. Just I'm like I'm free from that. Ah Chan what would you call this episode pigs in a blanket. That happened off air. We were very proud of that. We brought it back on here. You know we we're GONNA leave people without pigs in a blanket so then I had a weird moment after that hit me when we actually my daughter I want to give her credit. She's the one who was like Mama teaching pigs in a blanket. And then I took everything in me to resist googling to see if there was actual a tie between the tidal title pigs in a blanket and this chapter really like I thought maybe the International House of pancakes red x ten and then named it back. Wow Oh oh wait. Wait wait so so you thought that it was possible that the idea because of the head coach for a viable. Wow you're so. Yeah Bible rival literary you're like the beautiful mind person maybe where you're just like though subject to further discussion. Well today. We're talking about about pigs in a blanket or a blanket full of Bacon. We're an act SHEPPERTON. Let's just do a quick recap so far jen. How did we tax ten? I mean wh where have we been at before we got here. Well Kyle. It's been a long haul. No actually it's been really good we've gone through So the first half of is focusing mainly on the the emergence of the Ministry of Peter Within the narrative and So the first half of the book wraps up at the around the end of chapter twelve. And so. When you're in chapter ten you would know? Then we're really getting disordered. The the main point of what's happening in Peter's Ministry and interestingly right before you get to chapter ten ten you see the conversion of Saul so the Texas has spent a lot of time talking about Sol And we actually did on an earlier podcast and so you can kind of get get the sense that oh well I guess. Now we're gonNA talk about Saul Slash Paul and Saul Slash. Paul is commonly thought of as The one who takes the Gospel to the gentlemen tiles and said it's a little bit of a surprising. Turn when we flash back to Peter and find that actually. This is a story about Peter Taking the Gospel to the Gentile Anti. And he's GonNa he definitely gets kicked their right. It's not like he's not looking for the opportunity right. He wasn't. He wasn't out vision-casting for the Gospel. Going forward right Paul right with the Lord Kinda seized him into it right. Hold them into it. And that's the story Enact Shepperton focusing on Peter Cornelius and so I and also what's brought us to this point is like this expansion. This sort of ratcheting out of the Vision for who the Gospel is going to go to. And so I it comes to the Jew and then you start seeing you know like. Oh there's the Ethiopian Eunuch you know it's like each each vignette that's in here of WHO Receives The Gospel. Is this this this picture of the Gospel going as Jesus said in acts one eight from Jerusalem to Judea to Samaria and so this week is the ends of the earth and so and this is a fascinating story right right Oh man it's fantastic. I mean it's just it's really interesting just from like a history of redemption perspective. It's really interesting from a Kosh the spirit moving and Peter Peter and Cornelius perspective. It's interesting from what our visions and dreams perspective. It's interesting from a just like the pictures that are are interesting. They agers so it's just a fascinating story so we're not going to be able to read the whole story of petering to Cornelius. Because it's it's long it would take we're trusting when we cover these chapters. You're maybe reading along with us or you're familiar with the story. So the broad kind of contour here just to give us like a big arc of acts chapter. Tim Is that Pete. There's this guy named Cornelius Milius And Cornelius is a centurion of what was known as the Italian cohort and it says that he was a devout man who feared God with all his household he gave generously to the people and he prayed continually to God and that he is going to have a vision and that vision is going to be the Lord speaking to him And that around the same time Peter seems to be having having a vision and that is a vision that involves pigs in blankets. Hallelujah yes and so oh I think one of the questions that we immediately ask ourselves here is. What's the big deal between gentiles and Jews like? Why is this even talking point of significance at all like y casual reader of the Bible? And you get to this story. Why did Peter have to be kicked so to speak into bringing the good news to Cornelius? He is why wasn't that. Just a factor like hey I mean Jesus has come. This is good news. Why not bring it to everybody? Yeah I mean I think one of the main themes that we're going to see probably throughout this. This episode is the significance of promise that God made to Abraham in Genesis chapter. Twelve verse three Specifically that that That Abraham or Abram Room at the time was this man who was going to be elected for the purpose of his family than blessing the nations events he subsequently in Genesis. Fifteen and. Seventeen this this Promise promise of the good news. Of God's favor and blessing being given to Abraham and going through Abraham there is a sign given to this covenant specifically the sign of circumcision which is now the Jewish people. It's the Israelites and but over. The course of time I think they began to to forget that the purpose of their election of the Gospel the good news being given to them was actually not just for them but elections for the purpose of others of blessing the nations corporately and they begin developing a spiritual superiority based based upon this sign of circumcision. And it could not see how God would bless or or make somebody clean. who was in their mind unclean unless they they had been circumcised so really when you come to the New Testament one of the primary questions that is being asked like their their theological conversation is around this question? Do you have to be Jewish right in order to be a Christian. We're GONNA see this later in acts chapter fifteen at the Jerusalem Council. But that's really what's happening. Luke is doing. He's giving us a theological narrative errative to show us that the primary question that that that that God is trying to show his church is that by intentions. The whole time has been to bless everybody to bus the gentiles. Not just Jews but gentiles through the Jews yeah Because obviously the Messiah comes through Abraham's family right well and one of the reasons that we wouldn't read through this on the on the podcast Is because it repeats itself. So God's right and and and one of the things that we have to ask then is like the R- the repetition is like we get all the details over. I mean the the number of times that Simon the tanner who lives by the sea is mentioned. In these in these retailing's you're like stop and and it's repeated three times. The story is repeated three times. And they're actually a number of threes in the story Or multiples of three. That are are trying to tell us something They're we're going to be three men who accompany that. Go to get Peter. They're going to be six men that come with Peter Back to Cornelius House because they are bearing witness. It's the idea of on on the on the testimony. The money of two or three is the truth is something established. So that's all going on. The story is given to US three times. It itself is bearing witness and what we have to ask is why so much over and over again the same thing and it's because I think we we're looking back on something in and most of us are gentiles. We don't have a Jewish heritage and and we have to recall That this level of repetition and this much care taken around communicating this particular message about clean versus unclean about is is Christianity Eh Something that is placed within Judaism and grows out from it like. Do you have to observe Jewish custom that to the original audience. This is mind mind-blowing at the point that it is being given to them like it is like that cannot possibly be and yet it's in here three times because his. Jt said it it's the fulfillment is a fulfillment fulfillment passage for the promise. To Abraham that through him. All the families of the Earth would be blessed and I think it is easy for us to to to be dismissive of some of the tensions between the Jewish people. And somebody like Cornelius. Like it's not like the Israelite people were had no the reason to have a little bit of certainly hesitancy but if not if not just hesitancy but outright resistance to the idea idea of gentiles being heirs of the promises why because they had a history of being enslaved exiled and oppress by these groups of people right. That's right so like Cornelius when we kind of turn to the question of who is Cornelius with Cornelius. Is He's a leader. He's a soldier of an oppressing army occupying hang army exactly. So it's like the idea of Peter Going to Cornelius. And saying there's good news for you. Cornelius would be to bring the good news of Christ the Lord and this better kingdom to an oppressive enemy. That's exactly right and so it can feel a little bit like if you're reading this you're like well why the hesitation well not only were. There are strict tradit religious traditions that separated from cleanliness perspective Jews from gentiles engine towels from the inner presence of the Lord or the holiest places around the presence of Galway But there were also very big cultural and political realities that that kept division alive among Jews and gentiles so cornelius is a centurion It was What was known as the Italian cohort but he has described arrived as a devout man? Feared God with all his household gave generously to the people and pray continually to God. Now I wanted to pause here And just ask a little bit so coriolis just describe somebody who fears God and yet. He hasn't heard the good news of the Gospel. What's going on here right? Is this like the is this the sometimes. I read this passage. I feel like this is where people would go when they're like well you know there's somebody out there who maybe has never heard about the name of Jesus but it is like but does fear the Lord right so who. What does this mean? Why is this significant? I think this is a classic example of why we can't take the book of access prescriptive given everything that it's saying because what we're seeing as you're right at the hinge point right you're right at that place in between The way that we see faith demonstrated rated and credited his righteousness in the Old Testament and the way that we're going to see Belief in credit credited as faith and salvation in the New Testament I meant and Cornelius is right at the center of it. He's going to help us. Answer the question of how to salvation come by grace through faith alone has always been the answer but we would speak of like those is who are listed in Hebrews eleven as having looked forward to the promise of salvation and then New Testament believers is having looked back. He's right at Ground Zero and and so I think that what we see here. Well so just strictly in terms of what the text wants to communicate. He is a Jewish pro slight right so he is he. He is probably on the verge of conversion to Judaism so he's he's probably attending synagogue but he's not circumcised He someone who in the past would have been like if you think. Think about Rahab. She converts to Judaism or or or ruth is brought into the community. He's not yet in the community but it's interesting that he is already demonstrating. He has works to accompany his faith. So so I think what we're seeing here is a simple obedience to a forward-looking looking faith that is only forward looking in so far as no one has come to preach the Gospel to him yet. There there is a completeness to Gospel but he hasn't heard it yes. I actually don't think this is my hot. Take that when Peter Shares the Gospel with him. I'm not sure that that's the moment of salvation for him because we already see the Lord appearing to him and saying prayers MOMS have ascended as a memorial before God But I do think what we're seeing is. The connection of the idea of what is what has been salvation. An and now what is celebration. Yeah and we do see throughout acts. I don't know that we we've hit another one of these yet. But we do see these moments where there's essentially a group of Characters Jersey have a part of the story and that one of the apostles you gotta bring it to bring the other part of the story right so you see this with typically The receiving of the Holy Spirit or the baptism of the Holy Spirit. where it's like? You have a part of the story people like. Yeah I've been baptized by John. The baptist. Well there's there's more you know that like the the Christ price came that he died that he rose again and that he has sent the spirit right and so there are these kinds of points. I think it's important. You said that about Cornelius that there are so many scenes and acts where we need to fight. Maybe the the temptation to go okay. This is how salvation works As supposed to go okay. This is a very specific. Overlap moment in the history of redemption and this is one kind of cut away scene right of that very unique back once in a history redemption. Kind of moment. Yeah right that's right. Also just find a lot of comfort in the fact. That God was wasn't his providential ential over all of it in other words. This doesn't work if God isn't clearly. Directing writers clearly directing directing the men who were with them like God is moving moving all of these tectonic continental plates and there's there's just movement in redemptive history happening we get. We get this great confidence or assurance in this narrative narrative God ultimately is the one doing. Yes Yep that's good guy gets his people he doesn't have to be more anxious about God's mission than he is and Edberg. Yeah you're right Let's go. I needed to hear that today.

Former Dallas cop who fatally shot neighbor testifies

"The former Dallas police officer on trial for murdering her neighbor took the stand in her own defense today reporter JT miles with CBS eleven in Dallas fort worth is covering the trial and is on our news line JT what is amber Geiger accused of. here's a murder and there's a chance that the judge will allow some lesser offenses to be included in the charge to the jury including manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide she was asked today if she intended to kill both of John which is a a sign that said that she would have to say she intended to kill both and John to be convicted of murder and she answered yes so she can she's accused of murder she taking a murder trial but there are lesser charges that she could Hey if the jury decides to go that way to the refresh our memories what actually happened that the night of the murder. well I am a guy who was a former Dallas police officers you was a police officer at the time she was coming home from a long day of work and she walked into her apartment building which she shared with welcome John they live a one floor part him directly above her she went into the wrong apartment she says she attribute that to the parking garage which you said that confusing and a lot of people testified that as well more tennis in that building she said that she tried to open the door with your key it didn't work but the door was ajar and so she thought John and the background of department thought he was an intruder and she opened fire still a very strange set of circumstances in motion led to this unfortunate killing that she's on trial for prosecutors have their own theory as to why amber Geiger may have been distracted tell us about that. yeah prosecutors believe that she was you know it not paying attention she was on the phone she was texting a patrol partner who she was also engaged in an illicit relationship with and so they believe those factors affected her frame of mind and made her more reckless and more in a position to make a terrible mistake

Big Thorn Farm and Brewery

"With me sitting across all the Tree House Vaa which was about in just a second why are co-owners leaning into the microphone and and I'm Aaron Young together owner and you guys have seniors fabulous land which everybody needs to come bounds vermilion county. We're in a beautiful part of the county right off the little million river. We have an old armfield property that we waited for people. Come to our place and drink are yeah. I've been Brian for about ten years and I learned how to refers to work at a place called. Jt Walkers I. I knew I was going to be there to back. I wouldn't rolling we bought it. It was nothing it resistant dirt. We would bring people out. Show them what we thought in common we're. GonNa do like Brecca Cornfield. It is a field surrounded by trees so everywhere. You look out here coming up. Can we did see some neighbors on houses houses out there so you you offer rush hour decided to brewery and the era news oversee having four wanted to do something different. Why did you leave. We started this Afar Roy. The original idea called big farm with hops. We don't actually have anymore. We added Earth live herbs fruits and other things for brewing witnesses kept going through our minds venturing now. I have a degree in science from Missouri so basically none of Akron with what we do now in college we manager walkers actually when I graduated from I live with my mom. She lives in Muhammad where Berea and we work together. The property property there was nothing here there was no well no water no electricity or anything. Erin and I spilt everything here on the farm ourselves sweetser house brewery and then french-african Oliver Solar stuff win saw and that's one of the things you're agreed that really it means. We're not connected so any electrical utility. Everything we do is solar. We have a tiny bit of wind with the Council so lectures to run racer. I got sued separate systems. One run Shafran didn't warning from each side and Carolina but we are rising solution so we don't do anything I like having to. I think we probably start out with about one kilowatt combining it now they don't use really not however hundred one and a half kilowatt so if you wanted to run that Saint Peter's for one hour you would need one and a half kilowatt solar power running our I. I didn't really have no electric. We do have a generator that we used to. I was taking a lot of trips to get things running against the houses over nine. What exactly was there how did you I wasn't house brand just kind of went for they're using our plan Sousse. Oh maybe it's a glorified shares are more ammon. Aaron says well all year. That's what we did and we kinda made it into a tiny house. It's not a super cute tiny house and we did an addition so now it's the tiny for three hundred square feet rest the houses cannery revolt virtues in the Middle Beautiful. We can get away with a smaller space because we have a lot of outdoor space. We work outside outside constantly so we you know we can make this sacrifice to have all these cool outside space. They literally grassroots literally some cases right because you're adding cross but you're adding indefinitely ingredients that are not mainstream. Now we do everything from the waters with lawyers from our world. I'm with you everything with natural carbonation different tanks from other people use consumers electric line tanks and then reduced harvests in the kegs or bottles. Zurich just been consistent temperature brew house which is well. I think that that was the second and third they're building. That actually grew in our S- our goal talk about halfway up earth out about halfway up the building control temperature voice voice research kind of scratchy throat underground firms got to keep it better for that heating cooling like right now conditioning so so we use them in the winter. We've run air conditioning offer solar aw it was wondering direct pyro or electric dryer run them propane so you both ruining with known traditional degrees and oversee down in Aver Bernard scratch through well known for adding weird. What do you what your primary ingredients scratchy not cool to me. They know how to go into the woods. Find random things I might. I might not do so well without it. We're with drinking visa. We're just come to the guys in a minute but we just grow things and then use those for the most part we venture into the woods and I take three inches off trees Oak Hickory share and Sassafras as the beer and we found a few other ingredients but mostly arm for ingredients one of the things that is key to your furrier news mentioned this on your website everywhere is that you are for men to over something the word we'll how how does it work cut it down then we use light a flame reader most of the time also also down on south of a large jar the logs and you have small logs. Charles logs and add them directly to preventing veer and picks up a flavor in a matter of days so rather than a beer sitting on for like six months to a character would character. It's almost instant so you know do you actually getting any of the charring right when you're showering on the outside you're trying to get out from the beer yeah so that really deep charter boats of -sarily but sometimes we'll do uncharted twigs and branches because like Cherry Sassafras with with with our trying at all because they have so much aroma on a short. I guess I think it's really right under the party but when you boil like Cherry for example recoils oil for what ten minutes and it's returned cooling yeah. It's really cool I. It doesn't sound like they have barking up the wrong tree. Thank you for our do firewalls in some of your fears is is this the same theory I mean you don't put them in a bag or or you know just directly into the chart which sanitize crestwood so it's never had it right off the trees a variety of trees and I know this one that recently somewhere in this enormous swarms on it right that was so severe so that's the locus street. That's how we farm for that tree because the first thing this honey locusts there's honey locust sandblast but we harvested of those when we are yards. That was the first thing we built so we harvested about twelve of those because they're really rot resistance nineteen hours copter. You don't have to now about six years and we didn't want harvesting more frequently endeavor how much labor before getting what we want out what ingredients are throwing putting into the now we have busy. Take over there like this. Is your juice juice. Soaking a little bit of outback third anniversary anniversary is pretty much in the so the Jews Joseph Ours are have gooseberries before we only do one a beer with that but our plans got big enough real numbers so did wine called devil goose which is a highly off almost like a double life varies and the juices a sour with fairies charred wood wood hickory okay. I I have Jordan did you have I had that I wish is busy working silently taking now. What is this John The amber so Meraz. Yes graces the ryen stores. This is terrible. The ryen spice finish the double doubles delicious tried the Ginger Ri- which junior lick the rise really in writing and ember downgradings currently so in verses that I said it was much bigger than we anticipated. We could imagine and it was planned for twice. The thing is we could imagine times the big recently celebrated the anniversary say brewed any celebrate to reveal we did a bunch of different fierce for that we released the we all our collaboration with JT walkers though we had their version version on ours was this hour there's Halio ours would retain recipe because John John Gal Pale Ale. John Dow is our good friends that we've known for quite some time actually carpenter and he would bring hop Ernie. We'll start naming beers after because John Gal pal after when I still worked to eighteen New Zealand New Zealand top fears. I know that's really cool. We'll have to try that one. Definitely as we were in the second time was down here. It's a Saturday Europen business twelve noon to nine and and interrupted but it sounds like you got to and on Fridays. You didn't sell it. Also luckily with what what did you get in commiserating with black roemeling cross hostile so they already have sir. We're GONNA have to try that one then what soda what sort of ingredients favorite supportive and how do you never know the players so we plant the urban use. It can't acquire any other way I don't know until two or three of growing a lot of perennial herbs zone a lot lemon screw it we use the age and I've been used janning would time tart take time do allow go down there and just try and a beer we did. I I green great. Run another one and try try mall today. Driving arriving should say low alcohol is using it seems like they're always liked the Berlin lower and lower. City council candidate wants to keep town white

"It folks I mean we're having fun with this because it's sad right it's sad that there are people on this planet earth the gene Kramer's of the world the Nancy Goodman's of the world by the way JT referred to Nancy given is Carolyn Goodman we apologize now Caroline given you are a wonderful mayor you would never say something like that I don't be confused definitely not do that that is a low blow Mr Shapiro can you believe this woman Jean Kramer and by the way as far as you you people that's like the Bible all the time okay and I'm not saying if you cite the Bible all the time you're you're like this idiot Jean Kramer this racist pig but to run for office I don't care if it's a small town outside Detroit or if it's the presidency of the United States if you want your town or your city to be more white and by the way that is what she said she said she wants a committed to be white as much as possible that's what I said is is possible and she needs to move to Iceland yeah that's what she said by the way we're not making this up folks and then she double down and talked about interracial folks that's what she just double down she said she doesn't want interracial couples in her community I mean what is going on here is David Duke running for city council I would imagine that they talk pretty consistently James Jim Cramer and David Duke I imagine there touch quite quite often with we got this woman from North Carolina we just played Nancy government saying basically black people give me anxiety that they made me say the word and then you have this woman Jean Kramer there are a lot of gene Kramer's out there sadly sadly there are a lot of Nancy Goodman is out there we just don't get them I audio I don't think there's as many as you would as he was believe others there's definitely some there's but that that that's the extremist mindset on both sides it's on it's on the right side all Texas is to me that was zero to do with politics why is that not into politics this is this is ridiculous ignorant racism here's here's thing about race not run up Democrat or Republican in this conversation in two thousand nineteen it is it is literally the law of diminishing returns it is just stupidity being racist because the next fifteen to twenty years and this is an absolute guarantee Caucasians will be the overall minority they will not be fifty one percent of the United States population I don't care that's that that's just that's just the way it is and a lot of here and so being racist right now is one of the most ridiculous things you can do it does nothing but hurt you it does not help okay but in the past but if ninety nine point nine percent of the world was white I still wouldn't condone any of any of the so to me that's academic I don't care you know I mean I don't care whether we're forty nine percent of fifty one percent or eighty percent the point you don't you understand what I'm trying to make I don't care who the minority is it is disgusting but these women the words that come out of their mouths it is disgusting that this woman is even allowed to still run as a city council candidate I mean what would have happened if this if somebody said something like this in Las Vegas this woman would be would be gone in a heartbeat how was that this woman is still even allowed to run how is it that are open even racist bigot is allowed to run for office and she's running on the premise of bigotry and racism she really is me that's that's our campaign what is your see this is my issue and and I'm going to now interject politics into this fight I don't know if this woman is Republican or Democrat I'm going to imagine she's absolutely Republic yes I I would make that gas but when people talk about you know could anyone say well I like her policies I don't agree with her rhetoric but I like her policies does that remind you of somebody else and listen Donald Trump has said some very very racially charged for another half nothing anywhere near there is nothing to this I would say nothing near this when you called Mexicans crossing the border rapist and bad people and I suppose some of them are good people I wouldn't say that's no where near this when people chant send her back in a rally that's not I wouldn't say that's no where near this when somebody at one of Donald trump's rallies talks about killing on illegal crossing the border and he laughs about it doesn't say no Sir we don't condone violence I wouldn't say that's no where close to it but how is this woman still running for city council you know I I guess I guess you could I guess you could make the cotton we got we got good mint and don't know reference to the Goodman's in Las Vegas by the way we got good mint Nancy good meant who thinks it's okay to say the N. word to insult somebody and then we have this woman who thinks it's okay to say we want our community to be more white that's fine that's okay it just drives me crazy folks that there are people out there that are not only closet racists but they're willing to come out and run for office admit that they are racist basically saying they want the community be more white it is disgusting these people need to be called out in this day and age of social media and everything else and the way the media works make no mistake about it this is not fake news these people need to be called out and shamed I saw the video on social media the other day where a woman gets into a car accident hits a woman who was Asian you wouldn't believe the things that came out of her mouth she said go back to your country she called her words that I can't say on the radio likely this woman who is Asian video tape that it goes on social media and then these people lose their jobs and by the way I am all for it I am all

Will Bryce Harper to worth his $330 million contract with the Phillies?

"You know, three hundred thirty million dollars at dominated the headlines in the off season, although we would have hoped it'd happened earlier. It finally happened and Bryce Harper is a Philly. I gotta talk to you write about expectation as it comes for Bryce here. And what does Phillies seem Kennedy chief because if you looked team that Bryce left is probably still the favourite in the you know, that being the nationals how much pressures on this guy. What's reasonable, and what do you expect from the Phillies? Well, I mean, you know, aside from Bryce Harper before they ever got rice Harper. I think they quietly got themselves. Very much better. Like you. You look at between getting the trade for g JT rail dog getting Andrew mccutchen. I know is not necessarily the MVP player, but he's still a very solid major league player and at times plays like an MVP to go there and get you know, Roberson in the bullpen and to do the things they did, gene sicker. They really tightened their team up. And then you go add star power and a guy middle lineup. I think they're going to be a tremendous team when I look at the division. I know the Mets got better. The Braves are good last year. I look at the Phillies is the favourite. I I just think what their starting rotation one through five they they have some solid performers there. And they just they dressed a lot of issues to get better. And I think you know, it's it's gonna be interesting, but three hundred thirty million dollars for one. Wow. It's a lot. The last couple years later. Yeah. It sure does is better. We're that
