"It's often quick, chip states at Yankee tickets and games. I joined him out good board a call. So let me get on them. Eight seven seven three three seven six six six six. Oscar from Westchester up at Alaska. Good. Tuesday's Gary Sanchez who the fans would dismissing weeks for week there. What am trade want him gone? He's lazy he's fat. He's is that whatever I like to know what your view is on that in to his on the villa fielder. A garner, right? Okay garner. I think it's an an exemplary player for me. It's someone who the Yankee should hold out forever. I don't care if he retires with one hundred batting average. The guy is gives his heart and his Rian, exemplary type person for me as, as not just as a player, but I think as a as a person, and I would love to see someone like that retire with the Yankees, and I wanted to hear your views. All right. Let's go Sanchez price. Then we'll come back with the gardener. Here's why I'm in a bit of a quandary what Sanchez because after he came up and had to half a season. He did. I feel that way too many calls from Yankee fans who were comparing Johnny bench. And I said, can we slow the role just a little bit here before we make him Johnny bench county bench is only the greatest catcher in the history of major league baseball. And you want to compare this kid to Johnny bench. So I got a little bit Yankee fans because they put them out of pedestal too fast. So I had I had to with my point of view on Sanchez, try and bring him down a couple of pigs to try and get through the Yankee fans, but they shouldn't go nuts. Then you get the flip side where last year. Had a bad year. He struck out too much. She didn't play defense. You let the ball get him. He didn't it many runs. He got hurt. And of course, the overreactive vans, like you stated one of run them out of town that guy's a bum. We gotta get another go trade for JT Muto. And I'm going. Wait a minute. He's still in a bad year. It twenty plus home runs a still young. Let's give him another year here before we start running out of town. So sad kids is one of those guys who seems to get the overreact. There's to check in on them that those who like them. Radio to eilly and those who don't like them wanna run out of town, when he's one of the best. But he's one of the two or three three or four best catches in baseball when you have something like that you hold onto it. I goes, I liked the way guarding plays the game. I'm with you. He's a hustler he's getting uniform dirty kind of guy and I like rooting for guys like that. But he's not a superstar and he's never been superstar and superstars merit. The I don't care sitting to Andre did. I want him stay on teen type status. You have to have a team that to be able to say, well, I don't care producing for three months at a time I'm sticking with him because he's Gardy. No, he's not that good. He's never been that good. If he continues to produce at a solid level, then the Yankees should continue on with them. They should have. Amount of team going to be interesting when they get healthy Frazier is earned it bats. I don't think phrases should go back down. I think Gardner, should be part time. Leftfielder part-time center fielder. Part-time pinch hitter role on T for Gardner. It's just not going to be an every day role when Yankees get all their bats back and get healthy. Does that mean he stays for the rest of his career and gets to retire as Yankee? No, I think there's a better chance. I think it's less than fifty fifty the gardeners back with the next season. Roberta on up on the fan. Hello, roberto. You big time. I really love your shoulder until you re hold on. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Who will you a big time fan of? Who are you big fan up? State. I'd hold on. Let me put you on hold. And can you go see Stephen to get Steve on the phone? Can we get Ono Steve's off tonight staves not here tonight? But I'll tell you what, Roberto, I'll tell Steve that you are a huge fan now Roberta from Long Island Jody MAC Hewitt, the fan Roberto, I'm doing pretty good. I'm very happy hearing. You tell you I'm working right now. And you are being really pleasant to you. Thank you. I appreciate that. You're on your on the bandwagon. Now I appreciate your joining the Jody McDonald fan club. I want to make a few, Doug, they get on my my time. John, you're giants fan. Blight, but I I've been really busy the way he. Taking the franchise thinking to find checking the year. I want to give you a few points out. You believe that you agree or disagree? Let's say give them to shoot. He realizes he's going to college, go probably top five safety in the league running. Now he doesn't impede free agency on walk away for nothing. I mean, this is ridiculous. He could have been a least a second pick for this guy and use it in the draft, or whatever needs we have, which a lot, by the way. So you know, if if I don't go around pick for Clinton from doctors. We could have easily got a lease affected or even the first round pick for this guy about if she'll I was very they're younger that, you know. Could franchise back him. You know, you can get, you know, more time to work a deal or carried him. But he didn't even do it at the voted me. Check. Check point is that he thinks he should. He be believed that in your Joel is quoted, I respect that, but you can you can match a six overall pick on a quarterback. You know what's not worth a simple when you have show many wholesome defense. I mean I could probably name you only want like the north Jenkins. For a few more that shit, we have nothing because they can Josh Allen, all the per so many pieces. I mean you really you really didn't have any Jones by seventeen or by, I think it was thirty seven on the second row big. I know that you will last thirty seven I revert. Oh, I agree. Wholeheartedly with lane accounting. I thought Landon Collins was at the very least a trade chip agreed. I wanted to see the giants keep Lehman cones. I don't know why they felt the need to go in a different direction safety. I'm with you. I think he's wanted about safety deserve to be paid hit free agency. Did get paid don't think it's going to be a bad contract for the new team to decide with? So I'm with you. I think that the general manager mishandled the land and counting Daniel Jones. We're gonna see about it. I can play play. And then it doesn't matter. If you took them at six or not every would have been sitting there at seventeen when giants the second time I've seen. Stories that there were teams that would've picked him before the giants to us a chance to use their second round pick. I've seen those stories reputed who knows it's done now but he was the six pick in the draft. So the expectations ratchet up at least some from where they would have been at seventeen if you're talking there, either way you need them to be a starting quarterback, but your expectations the higher version, and you take them dire. The expectation are, and I'm not real positive that they knew Jones is going to live up to its draft status. So Dave Gettleman, the giants must improve the gotta get better this year. I don't know if they are I just don't think they're capable of making the playoffs if they do I'll eat crow and apologize. I just don't see him as a playoff team. But they at least have to take steps in that direction. Otherwise this year's draft. Could've been Dade Gilman's last draft as the general manager of the giants HMO seven three three seven six six six six. I come top of the hour. Let's do some baseball match win today at home against the nationals. Bit of a compromise that coughed up the lead. And in Carlos Gomez would a big home. Run Yankees did the same thing in Baltimore had the lead today. Cain Lee just didn't have it. But when push came to shove ninth-inning the Yankees, shoved pushed and walked across the game winning run to get at six five victory over the Orioles. So both wedding teams in New York on streaks match. More narrow young five zero. We're going to talk about them both next with our buddy. Kenny, David off from the New.

"And they're going to be willing to take younger players and or minor league players would potential and the like who's got the best systems right now of the teams that look like they're going to be postseason teams that when guys become available. Dale actually have piece of teams want to be able to make those kind of acquisition three teams to jump out to me. None of them are big market teams are the Padres have the best farm system in baseball. And they got a lot of talent beyond, you know, just calling up printed piece junior and Chris paddock. They have the best system. They have start how in depth the Padres I mean pretty much any player who's on the market, the Padres could probably go get if they wanted and the other two, I would say the braid and the raiders who aren't quite as good as the Padres, but they can go out and make a deal to it would be interesting because especially with the race who, who just don't have the resources other. Clubs have it would be kind of out of their MO to go give up a lot of prospects for short term rental, but they've got a really good team. And maybe they will do that, right. Let me tell you a couple of specific teams. Tell me how good they're they're solid. They've got the pieces to make a deal. It's going to be tough to invasion or they got no chance fits stinks. Minnesota little surprised to be on top of that division. Got some young players. They ended some nice veteran free agents on short-term deals year. What's Minnesota's farm system? Looked like they're one key piece away ended and they've got a good system. I think they could go out and put something together. They asked him intervene to the very best prospect in baseball, including voice Lewis, a number one overall pick a couple years ago in a hitter, named Alex parallel off, but they have depth theon those guys to the I think the twins, the twins can make a pretty interesting trip. All right. How about the Phillies who sit atop the NFL? But the analyst then playing as well as I thought it might they had the down fourteen thousand five hundred now they've only got one or two. The Braves might be game over. But to Phillies although they haven't been great, they've got first place. And they've got some guys who they believe we're going to deliver big time forum. I follow their system. It's been good before. But they had to give up a bunch to get the JT Muto's at the world and make some deals these last couple of years. Do they have enough to get a key piece? Specifically, they need to. I think they went out and made their moves in the off season getting guys, teach you real Nudo. They give six inches really pitching prospect, they get John singer and they promoted guys to the big leagues to their system. I'd say a couple of years ago, we went good. And now it's kind of thinned out like they that they get a guy it would probably be more along the lines of a salary dump then you know they're not gonna be able to stack up with these other teams talking about if they're all competing for the same type of guy. You know what I came good stuff? I appreciate I'm sorry to interrupt inner and on my butt. John after the draft. And you can tell us who made these smart selections, post-space afterwards, and really upgraded their system for potential trades. Come July, Jimmy could stop the pledge. Thank you. Thank you. Jim Callus from MLB dot com and be pipeline telling us about the top of the major league baseball draft. "Everybody knows JT Muto's good, whatever. Nick Pavetti to me. He's the most fascinating guy in the rotation because we know Aaron Nola is a stud, and I think with all due respect it Dallas. I think Jake Arrieta has settled into the number three number four zone of his career. And I think Nick Pavetti is kind of the swing pitcher like he he could be the number two on the staff in my opinion, yet a four seven seventy are a not very impressive last year. But if you look at his fifth it dropped from four eight seven two three eight zero which is not only much better. But obviously huge gap between that and Ziara. He raised his K rate and lowered his walk rate, which is a desirable combo to do. And if you look at his overall strikeout rate it was the thirteenth. Care rate for any qualified starter in baseball last year, yet a better strikeout rate than Aaron Nola and a better strikeout rate than Corey kluber to give you some perspective. So there there's like he's an unfinished product, but the pieces are there for him to develop into, you know, maybe like a lot of people clamor for them to sign. Dow kaikal he could be kind of like the number two number three that Kyko would have provided and he's already in house. I'm fascinated to see what his looks like. I know that when we when we came up on the Phillies, if you're Phillies fan you like all right talk to me about some of these new guys that are coming in talk about a guy that was there last year. Skains? Oh, yeah. The secto stinger going to talk about race Hoskins because I think that we still haven't seen how good this guy can be. I think now like if you sort of look at the middle of that order you got Bryce Harper hitting third. You have Hoskins hitting fourth JT hitting fifth behind him. That is a meaty middle of the orders. So he's got protection behind them. He's got Harper in front of him. What do you thirty forty doubles last year? Thirty five homers around there. Have we seen the best of Reese Hoskins? No, we have not. And does having guys like Bryce Harper in JT real Mutoko Eiffel tower in him in the middle of the Phillies..

The oiler is fired GM, Peter, Shirley, guys. All right. Thank you. Bogus. Appreciate that. Thank you. By the way. Do they give if d four didn't line up offside Bob Sutton's getting fired? I would say probably not but the defense. No, I'm not. Yeah. You're right. Spence was not great. I do not think you. Now, all of a sudden e and m Bob son will probably get another job in the NFL. Maybe as a position coach he's former army head coach was with Andy Reid for last five six years out in Kansas City, and as been a veteran NFL head coach, but you could you can get rid of them. That's fine. The defense was awful this year. Even though the fact that they had fifty two saxes a team get after the quarterback. They were terrible against the past the lack of adjustments as we discussed. How many times are Monday ties, and it took that not just Sutton, but read the entire half a football to finally make some sort of an adjustment offensively and defensively before they got themselves back AFC championship game trail and fourteen to have. But if if d Ford is able to take a step back one foot eight inches two inches and he's not lined up in the neutral zone with his helmet hanging. Over the ball. And that ends up being a Sorenson interception and the chiefs are playing on Super Bowl Sunday. Bob son, still the defensive coordinator the Kansas City Chiefs. Yeah. No, no, I agree. And even if they should lose the Super Bowl, Bob Sutton will probably still be the defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs because you can't get ticked off at a guy down. They fire daas. I would say about that game of inches or job of inches. If Ford doesn't make the mental of lineup offside the chiefs won't be looking for a defensive coordinator. Yeah. And that again that four you're right. And that. What do you think about it? He's like what can I do? What do you want me? Because things would have changed completely. And the thing we're hitting hitting line off by default lining up offsides. Like, I was saying the other day. I mean, you talk when you're a kid when you get in a three point stance or four point stance. Your head should not be over your hand. Actually, you're unless you're really on the edge, and you make sure your back with line, and you're trying to keep your weight forward to explode quick really quick on an angle, that's different. Because you gotta stay off the ball more. But to be that close to line of scrimmage, will you hands on the line of scrimmage and your heads over your hand, you all sides. That's like you guys want to get a job. You don't want to see this. The Senate staff the ball. Maybe some people don't understand like they they don't know to count. So they got to watch the ball. They have ways people just. Yeah. That might have. No. That sounds like such a simple, you know. And I know it, but some people don't know that unfortunately, his he was trying to trying to see too much of the football. It's just trying to see the right tackles elbow. Listen son, sixty sixty five sixty six years of age. He's been a, you know, he's. Made you know, he's been a long time NFL coach college coach very successful. So sutton's. I he's gotta get himself again. Chiefs are now going to look at another direction and maybe that direction and there is tour toward a current ESPN analyst. And that is Rex Ryan Adam Schefter tweet out last night. That Ryan is in contention to be the defensive coordinator in Kansas City. Now, he's been holding out hope of getting another head coaching job at the NFL, which is dot com way Rex Ryan after the failure in buffalo and getting back in the game as quickly as he did TASR once that failed. He's not especially during the McVay all -fensive era that we are in may in the National Football League Rex ride's not going to get a head coaching job right now, here's the reestablish himself. But should he say take the kid or get offered and take the Kansas City job and turns that defense around and they go from say thirty two thirteenth, and or there's a dramatic drastic improvement and the Kansas City Chiefs a year from now we're doing this show, and we're in the the week in between tight. Oh game and Super Bowl week. And we're talking about the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Rex Ryan might have a little bit of burn about get himself as a head coach in the National Football League again being a head coach. Once again, that's the kind of job where you could see a path of getting a third opportunity to be a head coach because it's a championship offense. You just have to make that a championship. Caliber defense be a top five group. They just can't be as bad as they were this past year, and I agree. And that's the thing was that. So we all knew that they were very unbalanced. Their offense was super high super super high off team. When defense was a little bit of a drip. Also, listen as far as Rex Ryan. I head coach that's anytime soon. I mean every concerned cliche. I guess every year that goes by there's less chance, and it's not it's not he's not getting up -tunities if because he's he's getting older and head coaches in the NFL getting younger. Okay. That's the reason. Why? So now if he takes. I think he should if he's really getting offered a job with the chiefs. I think he should take it. 'cause you never know. Something happens Andy Reid, they get whatever something is a part of ways. And then you've got a guy would head coaching experience. And Rex Ryan sitting right there me, bro. Okay. I believe in these younger guys out there that are in college that a great defense coordinators guys like Brent Venables who collapsing or Mel Tucker two million dollars. Exactly. Talk about Georgia. These guys are like great great great defensive coordinator. Young guys four is what the what do you call it? What the the patriots? He's going to be the that the announced the not yet right now. But he's going to get that gig. He also these younger guys what's his name? Manny Diaz many Miami. He's the head coach reading at the head coach at right defensive coordinator t left temple. It was there for a Cup of coffee like three weeks. Yeah. Right. Reverend subsidizing these type of minds, right? These young got these are the guys I mean. Yeah, I grew. I don't deny that the NFL's going younger and their other guys that deserve opportunity of objects saying that if there was Rex Ryan if you really wants to get himself back into coaching, and he misses it as not great as an analyst on ESPN. He's not the best way for him to go to do that would put himself what they team that is on as unbalanced as Kansas City is in turn that defense around. And then maybe make an argument for him to get them. So I don't think he's going to get a job to poop. But if that's something that he desires, and he misses it. He's got to get himself back in the game because he cannot continue to sit on the sidelines. If he had won Super Bowls with the jets or the Buffalo Bills. That'd be a different argument. Then you'd have the. The Bill cower conversation that that that dog had drumbeat that we had a year in and year out when he first went to CBS. Yeah. For for Rex he didn't win. He went to see championship game. So he's got to get himself back in the game. If that's something that he desires, which Schefter tweeting this out that Rex Ryan does want to get back into coaching. And that'd be a hell of a higher for Kansas City. It would be you got two guys. What know read and what Rex Ryan Polet Thula of head coaching experience in the NFL. I mean, that's a big deal. Right there. You know? But you're right about the chef the thing because he's working at ESPN. What what? Right. So he probably less. Ryan, let's do this. I'm just letting you know, I got to put this out there or he's not right? He knows. I mean, so there's some kind of not collusion, but they probably talk before he tweeted that out the Adam Schefter goal. You mentioned not only is NFL head coaches go and younger the goal more offensive right jets, Adam gays Cleveland Browns, pretty kitchen. Denver went opposite. They went Vic Fangio the the old defensive coordinator Tampa Bay. Bruce, Arians, Arizona cliff Kingsbury Green Bay leflore Cincinnati going to be Zach Taylor. Miami is going to be floors. So you look at it. Two of the eight opportunities. Six of the eight opportunities went off into Monte coaches. Yeah, shoot. Yeah. There's a lot young. And Fangio jail. Right. Five or six offense abide. The guys were young guys. I know our gaze. Hanes berry, and I mentioned Venables before. Right from Clemson simul. Clemson. He just didn't recite. You've got a two million. Uh-huh. Bonus balls. So that just goes to show that just goes to show, and he's not even that he you know, he's done even head coach. Right. He works on the Dabo. But that goes to show how Clemson Dabo want to keep a guy like Venables there that khaki coach. Anyway, he wants on his. These that a coach, and he's a guy that who knows if he wants to be a head coach. I mean, he might enjoy doing what he's doing now, which is coaching defensive players get well-paid. He's got an unbelievable life. He's on a he helped helped Dabo down there. And clemson. National program. What's that Bob stoops? When was that Oklahoma amazing job? He's a great defensive coordinator. And his name doesn't pop up. Maybe it doesn't pop up for a reason because he doesn't want to go that path through point. He's just happy where he's at right now. That's a two million dollar bonus. You know, I'm pretty happy too many dollars bonus. I'm happy as a pig in poop. Yes. Telling you that right now, keep it simple. We'll get into bonds and Clemens..

"Start to wonder are. In fact, the Mets going to make significant moves and all we heard about was the change in the big talk from Brody bandwagon and how he's going to go out there and build a winner. And even as recently as the Wilson romo's press conference. Somebody's got to inform me here with bandwagon. And saying we do what we say. And we say, well, we do. Well, no, that's not exactly what happened here. Because what I heard you say was that you going to try to trade for JT Muto. And instead what you did was sign Wolfson Ramose and the two aren't even comparable players. I don't care what offensive statistics anybody want throw up there. They're not they're not the same players. One is an all star catcher all around terrific catcher the best catcher in baseball in the problem of his career. The other is an aging bad bodied offensive at times injured player. That's number one number two. It seems to me when you step back, and I don't even care about van wagon. His comments about the Mets being favor to me Annelies. I mean, he shouldn't have said it. But what's he gonna say he's not going to say well team stinks? I don't think we have a chance this year. So he was talking to say why Steve Gelb said, you know, what I think internally we feel like we're the favorite twelve internally that may be the case externally. I don't see many people picking the Mets to win the National League east. I didn't love the Robinson Edwin d as moved to begin with for multiple reasons one they gave up all those prospects who they could've traded to re- to get real Muto, or at least potentially had them available to trade for Muto with the malls. Maybe would've liked him. Didn't think they had to take on or give that much to take on Robinson can own two. I don't believe Robinson can always going to be that great of an upgrade offensively. But let's say he is let's say always big move and D as in does the same thing. We know he's a big move. It's still the same stuff with the Mets just being sold to you in a different tone by van wagon who was essentially a salesman here enough with the prepared statements. Yeah. It was cute at first coming in talking about here. We're going to do this and do that and do this. Well, what do you what have you done? Exactly. I didn't think second base was an area of need. But yet that was the first position that they addressed. Yeah, they needed a closer. And they got one and they got a young closer was arguably the best in baseball last year under control. Let's hope that he continues that. No. I don't think you can knock Diaz will you can knock is the fact that maybe they could have got that deal done a little bit cheaper by take it on more of canot salary. They address catching situation where Wilson romo's. It's not real Muto. We should all know that. But they talked about wanting to value defense at that position. And that's not the case Walston romo's. So let's say he's still an upgrade over what they had. Which look I mean, I've played with guys in rec league's. That would have been an upgrade of what they had to catcher the last couple sees Mets catcher as long as the Knicks haven't been good. I mean, it's been forever since the Mets have have had a good catcher. But now the tandem is going to be Wilson romo's and Travis d'arno. No again. All right. I'll give you that. Let's say the upgraded the catcher, well where else has this team gotten better? Where have they gone out and been different from what they were in years past? And by the way, you're factoring in canola romo's, right? And you say, oh, so that's an upgrade in the line of. How can you argue? Well, correct me if I'm wrong, aren't they losing the production of as Cabrera. Who I mean play like at all? Miserable. Cabrera was an all-star. That was producing like an all-star. They also traded. Jay Bruce, just threw him into dump that salary. But Jay Bruce want healthy produces you'll losing nap production as well. Now, you can get it last year because he was hurt. But one healthy. He's a productive player. So can know and raw most is going to be that much of a difference over a healthy. Bruce. And is Jubal Cabrera maybe it is a little bit. That much of a difference. They still don't have a center fielder. And for whatever reason are not involved, or at least don't don't seem to be interested anymore. AJ pollock. What does he too rich for their blood? They can't sign AJ play case, Donna real center fielder. So they didn't get the homerun catcher and real Muto. I dare I even bring out Manny Machado or Bryce Harper. We know that they're not going there. They're not even in on AJ Pollock reportedly. So who exactly are they getting and Jerry's familiar with the big bullpen on that? They brought back. In addition. Obviously to Diaz familiar the big bullpen arm. They need another one. Not going to be Andrew Miller, and basically van wagon and said that was it for the big names in the bullpen so van wagon who came in smiling and talking big all he did. Was signed Jerry's familiar who was already here in one of the worst bullpens we've ever seen side Wilson Ramos. Marginal upgrade over. I mean, it was an excessively. And he brought in a thirty six year old Robinson off of eighty game suspension last year, and obviously got D as in that deal. The best movie made clearly is bringing in but he had to take on can do it. And he had to give up the farm in Kalmyk in particular. Do it. So what has changed exactly so trying to figure it out? What has changed? Exactly what demands. Because to me. It sounds like a lot of the same stuff last year. They did the same thing they spent on quantity. And not quality swore Zack in Vargas. And Bruce and Frazier and brought Ray is back. So what's the difference this year? Where's the big name? Where are the high end free agents? Where's pollick? No Harper Machado. What about Marlin Gonzales? And even if you didn't want to spend for the big big fish. They could have gotten one via trade with the Marlins to me, the three biggest names or biggest players on the or that were available obviously to on the open market one was real Muto. And who knows if he's even getting a trade at this point. Maybe the Marlins aren't gonna get would they had hope for him. But it's clearly Harper Machado and real Muto. And I would argue that real Muto would be the perfect fit for the Mets. He would be my number one target because he's a great value financially. And even if you had to give up Rosario in Nimmo to get him. You're still getting an all star catcher in the prime of his career. You can plug in another outfield. It's produce the way Nimmo does you can find another shortstop to replace the potential that you saw in a med Rosario. Forget about team control. Who cares if it's five years control? If the players aren't any good. I'd rather have two years of greatness than five years of. I don't know. He might be okay. What would you rather have him under control for seven years? I don't know how good is going to be. But we have motor control. Five years of I dunno or two years of this guy's a stud. So what's the difference with this Mets team as opposed to years past? I don't see it. I think it's a lot of the same stuff being sold to you by a different person in a different manner. And in fact, I would trust sandy Alderson more so than I do Brodie van Wagoner. Brodie seems like a great guy says the right things I don't want again, I could do without the prepared statements. I can't stand those not just him anybody who uses those, but he's made a habit of using those prepared statements, and they just I mean, he was he sounded at the Wilson romo's press conference like Isaiah Thomas sounded at the garden in two thousand four welcoming knick fans to the playoffs prior to getting swept by the new then New Jersey Nets. That's what van wagon and sounded like we say what we do. And we do what we say what you talked about real Moto. He talked about valuing deep bench at the position. And then you saw Wilson, rob. So what have you done that? You said you were going to do what did you do that? You were going to say, I don't know I'm confused by the whole slogan. Bottom line is they need more. I mean, do you want to you get a favorites in the analyst how so by default? And even that the nationals are being aggressive nationals have made some moves the Mets. They've gotten that much better. He wanted limited. The question Marshall wherever you eliminated. The question marks first basis guys ever played in the bigs before. Second base of thirty six year old coming off an eighty game suspension. All right. Let's say give you that question. Mark Frazier stole question. Mark centerfield. There's a whole time to question, Mark. So whole centerfield. You will host wait for says. But it's to come back and hope that every starter in the rotation makes thirty starts because they always do. I mean and the bullpen again. Even if D as in familiar or what they were a year ago. I'm not so sure that still makes that bullpen that much better to a point where you can trust them to win high eighties right now, I think they're at best. If everything goes well at best a low eighties team. But yet people are complaining about the lack of Yankees moves for team. That's going to win one hundred were the without Manny Machado. I don't understand it. Eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six Yankees Mets..

"Draft. We're in week fifteen he's actually had some success already. And we're still not pronouncing his name the proper way. This is New York City. It's Sam darnold darnold. It's not difficult. Darnold, callers, everybody. I mean, I've heard it all over the place. Anyway, you hope that he could attain so status where people will get his last name. Right. Eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six. Well, speaking of Mets catchers producer, Dave. What's up a real Muto? I mean, all these conflicting reports you had a guy on series. I guess this this afternoon or or should say Saturday afternoon Saturday evening saying how the Braves were the front runners. And there was another report recently saying from another guy who would no one Atlanta, Mark, Bradley. I think it was saying how Atlanta is all but out of the real move does sweepstakes. So that's good news. If you're a fan, you read the first of those stories and you start to get scared. What the Braves affirmative the Mets not only out. Mark Bowman of who covers the Braves I believe for the Braves dot com, and he's been doing that since two thousand one. So I think he would know he says the Braves checked on during the early part of the winter meetings. But the discussion led them to believe it was time to move on. So this I don't know where these serious report came from semi teams. A little faulty Braves of not had any discussions regarding moved within the past days, and they do not plan to have any. Further. So that takes one team out of it. I guess the reds the raise obviously, the Mets Padres potentially still on there. And I don't know if the dodgers were on that list as well. But here's what I'll say from the Mets perspective. Just get it done aside from trading Noah, Syndergaard, get it done. What's the hold up? Do you know how badly the Mets need a catcher? And I am surprised on Twitter and elsewhere the amount of people who are diminishing. Well, JT real Muto is he's not that great. Why just signed grandpa and signed Pollock and keep Nimmo and Rosario? I mean, they knock real Muto a all star in the prime of his career who's both great defensively and offencive offense and the best catcher in major league baseball will not Cam. But yet resort in Nimmo are looked at as if they are some perennial superstars. I don't understand. I understand the potential that amend resort has. But if Brody van wagon and wants to eliminate question marks and he wants to win. Now. One of the ways to do that is to trade resort or. Memo and or Brandon Nimmo for JT real Muto now yesterday Saturday, Sunday whatever day it is make that deal. The idea of Syndergaard going in that deal to the Yankees is crazy. Just add a touch he can't trade. Syndergaard period. E can't trade him to the Yankees. Even more there'd be a mutiny if the Mets fan, I mean Syndergaard to the yanked. It's one thing that Yatta stomach dock and Darryl. Abscess and with the Yankees and dock a no hitter all of that stuff that those are different circumstances. Okay. You could understand why the Mets moved on from each of those guys. There's no understanding why they would move on from Noah Syndergaard at this point in particularly trading him to the New York Yankees. So that's not. I mean, I can't realistically happen. I still don't understand. Why syndergaards name is coming up on all these trade talks because he's the one thing that they have that would bring back a lot. I mean that would make the only sense, but it still doesn't make enough sense to me because regardless of what people tell you about where the game is. Now, I firmly believe the most valuable thing in the sport is still top of the rotation starting pitching young and controllable top of the rotation starting pitching that should be untouchable. That's priceless. I wouldn't have traded Harvey at his peak. I certainly am not trading Noah Syndergaard right now in a year where you're trying to win. Now, if you're making the case at the metro gonna try to rebuild in strip it down. I mean, even then I probably wouldn't do it it probably trade before he traded Syndergaard. You're not gonna trade bold, you trade one or the other. But it just doesn't make any sense to me. So forget Syndergaard. I can get real Muto without having to give him up. I give Rosario and go sign Iglesias. I'd give up nemo and I could fill the hole in the outfield easily. But with the methane is not understanding or appreciating is what JT Muto is. Do we need to run down the list of catchers that the Mets have had the last ten years or so since Paula Duca we've done it before it's an ugly list. Travis star knowing Kevin Pollak, you want to see either of those two ever again. Maybe this'll be the I mean, I've actually had people tweeting me. Well, how what are you nuts to give up Rosario Nimmo for real Muto door? No can hit twenty and seventy oh, he can or ones that can happen. Exactly. Kenny play. I dunno fifty games for change. Could he maybe? Fraud all runner. The intangibles alone that real Muto would bring as a leader as a as a guy would handle that staff. That's exactly what the Mets need. And that's exactly why I want them. Then you throw in the fact that obviously you could throw runners out and he could hit the baseball fields. It was power drive earners in the total package as far as it goes with catching. If they can't get real moot? Though, because well, I shouldn't say they can't if they don't want to get real Muto, then I would go I don't want any part of mining Grendel. I mean, I don't know why that would he's a sexy name. He's I want no part of him. I don't care the contract would not be worth it. And I'm assuming that's going to be like a three or four year deal. I don't think that's anywhere close to what I would want to pay for grand rather have Martine Maldonado or take Russell Martin from the Blue Jays and have them eat the majority. What does he get? Maybe I thought I saw nine hundred million. But that can't be right for one year for Russell Martin. But regardless you have the Blue Jays eat that. Because they just want to move on as they did with Lewinsky. And you take Russell Martin not. Because you think he's going to be productive offensively. But because he's a leader. He's a gamer. He's a the intangibles for a catcher are valuable. That's what they need that grinded out Grady. Tough catcher a leader behind the play producer. David get numbers on me. For Russell Martin was. Yeah. One year, right? Russell Martin is going to earn twenty dollars. I mean, that's I thought I thought that was like wait that can't be right now. Remember he signed that contract years ago before the market started to come back down to reality. I know he's not anywhere near worth that at this point. I know we had a miserable year last year. But I do also know that he's look offense comes and goes, and it could be inconsistent defense and leadership does not that will stay with Russell Martin. And at least, you know, you're getting that. And you get them on the cheap. You're not gonna have to pay him twenty million. The Blue Jays would eat the majority of that if not all of it. And you probably wouldn't even have to give much up to get him. And maybe that's realistic. Maybe it's not. I'm just telling you what I would do. I'm looking for defense and leadership behind the plate. That's what I want. And that's why the total package because you get that. And then some Sean is, and that's why we should be expandable, Sean and nemo to Sean freehold. What's up, Sean? Hey, how big big fan of your work? I had a two key questions for you. I know we kind of moved up in the jets, but we still talk. You know, what your your free agent plan would be as far as the jets and as far as the max. Would you see Wilson Ramos as a alternative to real news, though, if they cannot make that deal, maybe they can sign a relief pitcher as well? Just wanted to get your thoughts. Well, thanks for the call, Sean. Let's start with the Mets I wouldn't be opposed to Wilson romo's. But he would be my fourth choice, real Muto Maldonado Martin and men Rommel's. Just because I think Ramos's best skill is not necessarily the defense leadership that I'm looking for. As far as the med signing and other reliever. I do think they should sign another reliever. I don't think that they will sign another reliever. I liked the addition of familiar to the pen or the reaction of familiar to the pen familiar to the pen. I don't. Love it. I would have loved it. If a war say in addition to Andrew Miller, and I don't even love Miller by himself because of the injury stuff, but I want to build that triangle, they had the as they have familiar who's going to be that third piece. Now, the one thing is you could find that third piece at the trade deadline, and they should have enough to where they can be competitive to the trade deadline and look a lot of moves need to be made throughout the rest of the team. But I'm talking about the bullpen should be good enough to where you can get to the trade deadline still in this thing and go get one of the better arms on the market to complete that Penn. Those are good acquisitions in season. Because guys are having good years you go pick him out as opposed to before the year with bullpens being so volatile. But yeah, I would I wouldn't mind the Mets signing say Andrew Miller. And in addition to reach familiar, I just don't Brody bandwagon. Basically said that's not gonna happen. As far as the jets and their free agency plans. I would say this. I'm not in love with the idea of levian Bill. Now, I love the edition of Tremaine Johnson last year sign a cornerback one of the top Cornerbacks in the league in guy and bring him in a to a team with what should have been one of the best secondaries in all of the National Football League. And it was not and true may Johnson has been a bust. I mean to a point where yesterday he is not even covering the Andre Hopkins. I mean, he's your number one corner, you paid them what seventy million or so he should be covering the Andre Hopkins. But we all know that even if he wore on Hopkins, he won't be covering them. And nobody can really cover Hopkins. But Tremaine Johnson governor anybody. He's had a terrible year. So I think it's early to sit here and say where the jets should I looked to spend it on the defensive line on a pass rusher. All before I worried about they're going to need another receiver or two. You know, you're gonna wanna running back. I just wouldn't give all that money to Levy on bell. But I think it's a little early to be breaking down that eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six eight seven seven three three seven sixty six jets giants Mets. I'll do some Yankees on the other side as well. We'll do some. We'll take your calls after the update with Marco after this quick break it Sal licata on the fan. When it comes to taking.

"Next hour, we will have. The maestro of the miracle. One. I in eagle he will join us after midnight to talk some NFL football. But we begin, of course, with the buzz of the winter meetings. Then the tweet that was fired out basically around twelve twelve thirty last night regarding this potential three way deal between the Mets the Yankees. And the Miami Marlins with the Mets landing JT Muto, the Yankees landing Noah Syndergaard. And I was with Tommy Lugt our at the time these rumors swirling on Twitter, and my exact response was and I'm sure many of you will wondering because I didn't tweet about it. I didn't want to comment on it. I said this strikes me as absolute quick bate from wherever it's coming from honestly. Now, I don't know what they rationale what the narrative would be. If you honestly believed in your heart of hearts, the Mets were going to take Noah Syndergaard and allow him to go to the Yankees just to get JT rea- Muto on their team come on. Honestly, wait up as well. A coffee. You believe that your sucker sucker? Chris. I was telling people in any. Form. Text message. Verbal communication you name. It. During a chance, and you know, what that is going to happen. Do I believe the Mets Saran Andrzej Modell? Absolutely. And Ken Rosenthal. Basically came out earlier this evening and said the Mets all the front runners for JT Raimondo. Okay. Now, the question will be for a team that is going to be very stingy that's gonna be to deal with when it comes from dealing within the division. What is it going to cost to get Modell? And there are so many fans who think Brandon MO and a couple of low level guys will be enough now buying that. I think the Mets are going to have to opt the any hair. And I think if you're not gonna move though, a Syndergaard, and my gut tells me, maybe it's in another deal. Maybe there's something else out there. Maybe Brodie van wagon and is willing and engaging the roll the dice. That's fine. I can't see Syndergaard on his way to Miami for T railroad L. But I also don't think Nimmo and a couple of guys is going to be enough to get it done. When I look at the dodgers who offered Cody Bellinger, who oh, by the way is far better playing and Brandon Nimmo guys.

"Day to baseball's winter meetings and one of the hot topics on day. One was with the Mets trade Noah, Syndergaard perhaps to the Yankees if they were eventually get back. A top-flight cashier in this case, Miami JT. Muto that was one of the many rumored deals making the rounds in Las Vegas Mets manager Mickey Callaway shortwhile ago reacts I hate to speculate on something that hasn't happened like and Dr no Noah's on our team. And he's a great pitcher. And I'm glad that he one of our stars. So yeah, I really can't speculate on. If we could replace him on Calloway in that audio referring to several Lewinsky and Travis star. No. And then there is the issue of for the Mets be willing to deal with the Yankees. Yankees GM Brian Cashman, says he's okay with the idea of may I've been around a long time. And I've done I've had. Done deals with the New York Mets in the past. Phillips, Kim, no Marin Iowa matched up in various deals before. Anita's? The mentioned Yankees have made numerous deals never have they made one which for qualifying the so-called blockbuster category. Nothing even close a former MVP outfielder who finished last season. With the Yankees has a new home. Andrew mccutchen a three year deal. With the Phillies worth fifty million of the former Yankee on the move pirates sandy van over to the White Sox were possible. "There's where there's smoke. There's fire and where there's fire this Brodie van wagon Brodie van wagon is making things happen shaking the tree. I like it. I like it. I like it as a met fan. I know we're going to be talking about all these different possible deals and all that other stuff. I can't really get into the deal until I know exactly what it is. And if it does involve Syndergaard in a Yankee uniform that is going to be hard to swallow really going to be hard to swallow. I mean, come on guys where we gonna put Noah Syndergaard on the is that what we're really really hope that that does not happen. Maybe Brian Cashman figures that a you know, I've worked with Brody down wagon and over the years. I we can have conversations we can talk about this. I do not wanna see there's there's two parts of me. Sure. Met fan part of me does not want. To see Noah Syndergaard any Yankee uniform. Sure that's the Mets fan point about the Yankee fan part of the waiver now. Now, the best the businessman part of me, the businessman wants the Mets to get a top-flight catcher and wants the Yankees to get a top-flight pitcher because I want my teams the Mets in this case, the B B fall to be whole as a team, and I want a top-flight catching that would be JT Muto. Let's face it. That's what it is. But man, if it's gonna cost us Noah Syndergaard any Yankee uniform, and I'm sure they'll be other things coming back because that's not enough and Noah Syndergaard. I'm sorry. That's just not enough. If if I'm going to sit here and watch Noah Syndergaard in a Yankee uniform, we better get something else back. It can't it can't just be this. And I can't I just can't watch that. Well, he's dealing with two teams Brody as with the Yankees in the Marlins wherever you said Noah Syndergaard to either one of those places it's going to be talked to take for the Mets fan one. You got him in the. The yankees. Yes. I know. It'd be the Marlins in the Marlins don't have much of a roster, and they're rebuilding and all that. But you still want to see Noah Syndergaard that individuals don't is in somebody else out there. The Mets can get involved. Here's somebody that's like, you know, a thousand miles away. Does it have to be like I'm not against remember last year? I was saying, you know, maybe over to the Yankees because of where he was in his career and what he was doing how bad the Mets replying and we're talking about glacier tours. We were talking about Andrew do we were talking about a couple of other players. And I said, well, you know, we just threw that out there. You know, when I was pushing that narrative got all that. But I'm thinking right now, man, if I gotta watch Noah Syndergaard of the Yankee uniform, I I may throw up. Yeah. You can't always judge based on fan. Anyway. Right. Just for the hell of it idiots last night. We'll have no idea how to just keep it real. And just keep it like at a steady pace, you guys are just like building and building and building and building to a crescendo to where you can't even walk anymore. But wait a second. You gotta Blaine OSs for the crescendo. I mean, I think. I think..

"With Robinson, ghetto and trading the prospects. But you go on all in now. And that's an exciting thing. I love the Kenosha trade, but starting to get used to it. And I'm getting more excited with the other moves to follow. The big one mean JT Muto. One move to me this off season. Even if I had all the money in the world. No restriction. What the payroll the one move. I would make and I've been saying it for two years or I think something like that. JT real Muto has to be that guy. So it is both exciting and refreshing to hear that the Mets understand how important it is that they go out there and try to get real Muto. And at this point. Maybe I'm crazy. I've gone from not believing to being delusional. I think they're going to get them. I'd be heartbroken and crush Embiid in get him on now what? I would give up a mayor resort. And Brandon Nimmo to do it. I wouldn't wanna par with Conforto. Conforto could still be a star. You have to give to get. I'm not just given up on on a resort. You're thinking he's not going to be a great player. I still haven't seen enough to where I know that he's going to be that player by no, which Muto is and of the three Nimmo Conforto resort value. Conforto more. I'd sign a short. Good luck to resort. Yo. Miami Nimmo was well, aim get JT Muto in here. Mets are in desperate need of a catcher. They have been for years. And this is not just any catcher the best catcher in baseball. Who by the way is in the prime of his career. He's under team control. He's a great defensive player and a great offensive player. You don't get players like that. They don't become available unless you have a team that is operating the way the Marlins are with their trading off a guy who became the MVP last year and Christian yelich were they trade ozone, and they trade Stanton getting rid of everybody. Down and they're not gonna be ready to wait for three or four or five years. So we all Muto doesn't have any value to them on the team. You can't get guys like that. At his age his production. When you look at the rest of the catching landscape major league baseball to move. You gotta make and if it's going to cost jurors Ario, so be it. Now, you hold that. It's only one of Rosario and nemo. But if it were me, and I had to give up both. I'd do it. But it is both exciting and refreshing for once. No, two thousand eleven twelve thirteen fourteen hundred fourteen Berthold Cologne and Curtis Granderson that get you all excited. It's been way too long since the Mets have been swimming in the deep end their in the big boy part of the now now how will plays out who knows. I mean, he may be a disaster. Canot Kalmyk becomes a superstar. You trade Rosario. He becomes a perennial all star. Who knows? But you'll love that they're going for trying to win now as a fan. You can't ask for anything more. "Sal, wait. It's yeah. SEAL underscore LIC ata. If you want to follow me on Twitter, some good interaction, so far, you know, for the show on tweets all hands for them. If there's any good ones, but usually. Not really much. One guy did mention Mike de Felice Robinson can't sell. Rob johnson. Rene Rivera, obviously. So we're going over before all the the names of the Mets catchers in recent memory. And that's why can't understand if you don't wanna go all in for JT Muto now curt Hawkins, aka Brian Myers was a little hesitant himself about nemo resort. I think you gotta make that move. And at this point. At this point, if the Mets don't end up with JT Muto, I will be devastated I'll be heartbroken. I I actually expect them to get him at this point. I be crushed. And then it's worth for me. If they don't get see if they don't get real Muto. Then I think you need to start considering Harper or Machado now, it's not gonna happen not realistic. But that's the type of guy that you need real Muto to me is that caliber player maybe put up the offensive numbers that those guys have. But for a catcher what he is. You could all use a better acquisition than either of those two. And I would I do value real Muto that much. And I expect it to happen at this point. Eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six. I'd be disappointed. I also expect the Yankees to get Machado at some point. And remember the winter meetings are coming up, and I'm actually arm with you Sunday morning to AM to six we'll have Andy Martino on live from the maybe not live my tape, it to be honest with you. Yeah. It's tough time difference, but he'll be on from Vegas. Giving us the latest there. He's done a nice shop wrestling WI with all the reports. So we'll try to get some info from him. But I think the Enke's they're not coming home empty-handed and be curious to see van wagon. We'll do the same again. If you listened to him sounds like he's going to be aggressive as he has been it's going to happen soon. So I'd love to see real Muto soon as possible for the Yankees. You want to see them acquire a starter? And it happens not. That's not going to be the move. That's gonna excite Yankee fans. Yeah. Okay. We'll take as a fourth or fifth guy. But really, what's what's going to be the big fish? You're gonna get Machado. Are they gonna show interest in Harper? Or are they going to show interest in Daniel Murphy, what relievers on the Yanks gonna end up bringing back or bringing in for that matter? So is gonna trade for kluber something like that. I think the Yanks will come back with some kind of big move my talking about just for the Mets, you know. It's gonna be interesting to see what actually happens here. And if it's not real Muto, then what? What's next? I don't want Wilson Ramaphosa me. All right. He's all right. But that's not the type of player. I want rather have an all defensive catcher. Martinez. Maldonado would be the guy that I look at in. That instance, moot. Muto fallback go defense catcher. And then you need offense. Elsewhere Austin is in jersey what's up Boston? Hey. Okay question. I'm calling you. Okay. I appreciate it. Make a click on the performance substances to the topic. I called for I really think HGH steroids should be ethically. Menefee part two different conversations h h is a ballgame chancing substance. We all have bodies. And steroids was something. We used to have people when they were injured. Here's the problem has no solution where where do we determine where athletes at how much they can use to rehab versus how much they use to to enhance the under certain point. You see it's appointed demarcation that can't be measured. And if we try to measure, it we will create a bureaucracy that would create more problems than we could solve. So, you know, it's kind of secular issue. But I I do think that, you know, steroids working to buy a completely different way from HD h so they medically different discussion. I I mean, you obviously you lost me. You're not even speaking my language would that whole statement. They just want on. What's dummy it down for me? What what is your point that we shouldn't we shouldn't lump in PD's because because they work in the body and such a different way. I'm just saying that if you try to regulate something. Part of the reason why so many guys are injured now is the use used steroids HGH to come back. And now they can't do that. So we're trying to show one problem we created another. But my point is well, how we gonna saw that we can't because we we they say you can take this. What's not beyond? Everybody's body is unique and everybody's injuries. But in band, I mean PD's are banned. A change of two different things. That's my only point is still, but neither of them are legal in the sport. I mean, I don't even know if they're legal outside of the sport, but legal ethical and practical or not always the same thing. Let's forget about like real life legal. We're talking about in the sport, right? If you do them and get caught you're going to get suspended. Yep. I'm saying that that's that's that's the best accommodation of a world that you can't go beyond remedy anyway. That's my only point. That's that's all I'm saying. There's no solution to it. So do you want to? You're not talking about the caller who wants PD's back in the game or your question. Okay. I'm not I'm not going to. I'm just saying this. No good solution to a bad situation. Agreed can do is try to accommodate the best. We can. Agreed. And honestly bothers me as a baseball fan and purist. I hate that the numbers that we grew up. You know, looking at who could break those. I hated they're all tarnished Leno I do too. And I I really do that. If I make quickly comment on the Mark Sanchez. Yeah. I think that. Where you know, a picture is like a self sustaining guy. We this is evidenced by the Cy Young award won by someone commend the season. But didn't have a lot of wins. Because a picture can be value themselves a quarterback never do anything all by themselves. Los Angeles had to potential throwaways like softened coddled, which is funny to me because let's say he was coddled will that's like saying shame on you for having bad parents. If people were rounded if the system which is kind of a mediocre system at best didn't provide a system that helped him to grow. How is his being quote, unquote, coddled all on him? You see what I'm saying who sings coddled I said he saw. Did say he's soft. But you're saying instead he was coddled saying you said that that's one of the buzzwords. That's touched him. You didn't say coddled you did you did say soft. I'm just saying Carlos another one of those words that. Is attached to him? And we'll just mindless stood out there without looking at the bigger picture that a quarterback means the system around him to thrive. No matter how good he is. And we had that push were limited my tiny show some attention. Now did he have issues with that? He had lots concentration probably and gives you mentioned the T thing maybe messed up with his head. But you know, we which we could never know what people maybe could have been not because the window is probably come and gone for what we know. What was though Austin and thanks for the call. And he was not a great quarterback. I mean, the jets traded up to get him thinking he was going to be the guy, and he was it. I mean, clearly was not that guy. So it's there's a there's a big difference in the butt fumble player or the franchise player that they thought they were trading up to get. He's in or maybe closer to the but far mold then he was the franchise player. But I don't think Mark Sanchez. I don't think it's fair to continually bring up the body formal who. Oh, it's so funny looking at. Oh, yeah. I remember that play the butt fumble. A john. Did you see that play? How can you forget it? It's so overblown so played out in so dumb. And he should not be remembered for that. As producer fliegelman. I talked about before, you know, Mark Sanchez had some some good moments with this jet seem some big wins on the road against some quality. Opponents some all time opponents with the patriots and Tom Brady and the colts and Peyton Manning. I mean, those some big wins back to back AFC championship games at the time. You say oh man things you didn't get Super Bowl. But looking back, you know for those now eight seasons without a postseason berth. And it wasn't obviously it wasn't Sanchez who did that by himself. They were a well-built team in the trenches. They built the team the right way inside out the line play. They ran the football made it easier for Sanchez. And then when he had to he made plays through the air. I mean, he made some plays with lakes to but he actually made a couple of big throws. So I don't think it's fair to first of all I don't even care if it's fair or not. I just think the Buffon was one of the stupidest things in sports. I really think it's stupid that we keep bringing it up so overblown, but don't forget even though he had some success. Don't forget what he was picked to be. He was picked to be the guy the franchise quarterback. This is it you drew a trade up your draft them. He's going to be the guy hand over the keys next ten fifteen years, whatever it is. And obviously he wasn't now. There are many reasons for it. But either way he didn't turn out to be anything close to what they hoped. I do think that they ruined him. Now was the final nail in the coffin when they brought him t bone. I think that was the end for believing in Mark Sanchez because remember at the time. He did have a fragile fragile psyches the right word. He wasn't competent enough to be that to be a quarterback in the NFL. You give me an alpha male. And he was never that. He was always like this kid ish type of mentality there and the jets gave him the contract hoping to build confidence with any born and Tibo the complete opposite destroyed them. He was never the same. Never even close to being capable after that. Now, I'm not saying that he would have been good had. They not brought in T-ball. But I think that that that did a man. Giants obviously getting set to take on Mark Sanchez and the skins this Sunday looking to I guess play spoiler. But the skins are going nowhere there. They lose Alex Smith, and obviously they're dumb when you have to get to a point where you starting. Mark sanchez. We talked a little bit about the jets earlier too. I mean, look it plays into the Sanchez stuff. They thought they had their franchise quarterback. Dan. Clearly, they didn't they hope they have one now in Sam darnold. We'll get to see him..

"Red Sox right now. I think they had a better postseason than us. We had a lot of injuries. I said that division series could have gone either way. Thank you, my dear building and scored sixteen runs on you. Right. I agree with that either. But I know where he's going was is just don't play New York New York outside of their locker room in their building. Sure didn't help Mary was he says the team's ready to spend a lot of need be. There's no doubt. Cash. Baseball people come to me and say we need this one piece that we feel really great about. Being a championship team. How will give it great consideration? Even if it goes over the threshold. All right. That's what I like to hear. Churches trying to one up the Mets during the Mets. Big prescott. I don't know if they did that though yesterday. Now, they don't they don't feel the need to do that either. But it is interesting that the Mets are at the head lady. They're taking most headlines right now. There's there's no doubt about it. So they've got a star GM right now. Stor right now, they do not talking about this whole Gary Sanchez for JT Muto thing and all that stuff in how Brian Cashman, basically came out and said, this is a bunch of crap. Right. And then you then you read all the responses to that level that that those comments, and you see just how people still believe that Gary Sanchez is on the block. What what Kim Brian Cashman, actually, say to stop the nonsense thing. It does. Yeah. Real movement. He's they're opening day. Eventually, it doesn't matter. It also creates a problem for Cashman and everybody else at the Yankees that now is there some Bellizzi to this. And it there is how does Gary Sanchez take this. Maybe it motivates them. Maybe it doesn't. I don't know. All the Mets did introduce Robinson can own Edwin d as here was Brodie van wagon says why he made the move we want to improve our production next year. We want to win more games. And hopefully, we can continue to add more talent around guys like this. He says on us and why no doubt he's going after I didn't leave my previous posts to be bashful or shy in this job. Right guy, man. What is orange tie? Now Gelb did mention to on that you've been criticized for this you give up a couple of big prospects to get these two guys back. Are you surprised by the criticism? No. And I'm not afraid of it. Bring it on. Here was a Robbie can oh he took the Twitter. He posted a message to the fans through the Mets Twitter page fans. How you.

"He's not young, but he's back in the majors looked like and he's well, he's kinda young, but he's back on the majors with the with the Orioles. He is. I, someone of the season, he actually with three three provided yesterday with three Rb is good for him as that was the home runs for the Oriels. Bluejays had one from Justin Smoak his twentieth and Bramble critic has nineteen th of the season as the Orioles had to start from old. Nobody really pitch to all of that game. So move on lung nationals and Phillies nationals went again five to four is the Phillies bullpen strikes again, Phillies had to lead three two in this one gave up three runs in the top of the ninth inning. To blow this lead as the actually got to home runs off of max Scherzer duboe Harare had has twenty first of the year officers in or farro hit his ninth of the year off Zor, but an anti horrendo-. Anthony run down in the top of the ninth inning off Pat. Nick took the lead there for the nationals that was his seventeenth, and then they were able to take a lead out a little bit more on a. On a pass ball or something that looks like or post throwing a passed ball drives him and still third and scored actually grind Zimmerman, stole third. And then the throwing air from the catcher allowed him to school or make it five to three. And then the phillys actually did score around that run. Did matter. They the game was five, four or final. So those everything matters Aeronautica. He was started for the Phillies. It was very good, seven innings of one run ball. One run earned to total runs. Four hits two walks. Eight strikeouts gets to notice as of us. It was blown lead and that game Xers, when five innings lead three runs on four hits two walks, no walks fuss. Sorry, no walks five strikeouts. Those two home runs allowed and he gets no decision as well. Nationals wind, five to four Red Sox. Walk off on the Marlins eight, two, seven after the Marlins tied it up in the bottom of top of the ninth inning, seven, seven actually got five runs in the eighth inning. The late runs score, lots of late inning scoring these days in baseball is I mean they. Marlins scored five runs. It was a score here four, two one. Five runs in the eighth inning than the Red Sox came right back scored their own three of their own runs to make it seven to six. And then the Marlins tied up in the ninth and the Red Sox walk it off in the bottom the night. That's kind of how it's been working this year for a lot of different teams as I'll give you the home runs in this won. The home runs came from Nunez his eighth of the season for the Red Sox than for the Marlins that got a home run from Saul. And Castro has eleventh JT Muto hit his seventeenth of the year and they got a home run from young. They're young center fielder that's Isaac. Galloway has second home run of the season as he hit a solo shot off Brian Johnson in the third inning there, the Red Sox. No, the walk walk-off was on the Rockoff came on a journey as groundout that he looks like he. Beat out or air by the sort stop? Yeah, everybody's sort stop and he was able to beat it, be safe there at first and then JD Martinez was able to score and. And win the game. Therefore, the Red Sox in the bottom of the ninth reds beat the brewers. Ninety seven in Cincinnati is school funding gets the win. This one walk. You try to come back a little bit, but the bureau said, I mean, the bread said no scoring swing their to run in the bottom of the seventh innings to retake the lead, and then they would win nine, two, seven. In this one, the home runs in this game came from a Peraza, his ninth of the season, and then the brewers got home run from Christian yelich. Actually two of them, his twenty fourth and his twenty fifth of the season. And those were the two home runs for the brewers. In that game, they lose at nine, seven Indians beat the twins, eight one Carlos Carrasco gets his sixteenth win of the season. He was very good and this one, seven and two thirds. Shutout innings, four hits two walks. Eleven strikeouts for Rask is he's got a heat up..
