Pettersson scores in shootout, lifts Canucks past Hurricanes
"The Canucks salvage the finale of a 5 game road trip by defeating the hurricanes four three. Elias pettersson scored on the final shootout attempt, ending Vancouver's four game losing streak. Ethan there, JT Miller and Brock besser scored in regulation, with bass or tying it with 17 seconds remaining in the third. It stopped 29 shots. She looked at it in the first period and you weren't involved. You probably think it would be a different outcome, but credits are a group we hung in there. Sebastian aho gave Carolina a three two lead with two 52 left in the third after the cane squandered a two goal lead at home for the second time in a week. I'm Dave ferry.

"To the noise outside of the dressing room. Good for him. Good for him. But he did explain it in an acceptable fashion for me. But then more recently, last couple of days, he's now defending his lack of production of late based on a focus of playing better defensively. You buy in it? I mean, is that what you're seeing in his game? I don't know. I mean, he's bouncing back and forth between wing and centers, probably not very easy for anybody. With the year that horvath had and pedersen's clearly, their best player. He's had pedersen's had a terrific year. All of a sudden, if Miller's at center, he's your third center. That's probably not the place you want to play him, and that's probably not the set of wingers that you probably want to play him with. So that's a bit of an issue. When he plays, you know, he's pretty clearly he's an emotional guy. And I connect a little bit with him because, you know, I did things that I just wish I didn't do. It can almost guarantee you he wished he wasn't banging the back of the net. Screaming at people. He did the moment stuff, right? In the moment, and it bothers me when people write and say, oh, you know, he was an aggressive. He was aggressive towards a teammate. You don't really have time there to go, hey, Colin. If you don't mind, could you head to the bench? You don't really have time for that. No. Now you'd like to be a little more polite in everyday society, but at the time you're like, get the to the bench. Yeah. Yeah. Right? You know you're running out of time. You don't, so that's my defense of that. You shouldn't do it the way that he did it though. No. You just shouldn't. Last year to the production 99 points, career year. Everybody has one. That's why they call it a career year. He's not going to do it again. It doesn't mean he's not an effective player. If you get 75 points out of JT Miller and you get a more complete more well rounded game, then I don't think anybody would be disappointed with that. His numbers might be the people that pick them in their draft pool might be disappointed. But I think a lower point total more complete player is probably a really good thing. Now, can he get there? Is he getting less points because he's trying to play a more complete game? I don't know, I don't know about that. But if I'm honestly, if I'm coaching, I'm going to say, look, JT, I understand you're an emotional guy. Don't do that again. It's not a good look. It's not a good look for you. It's not a good look for our team. I get all of it, but just let's not do that again. All right, let's wrap up headlines with the winter classic. We had Caroline on our list because they won 11 consecutive games. I think we should call it The Rain dregs bump because we had rod brindle moron, not that long ago. And that team has been white hot since then, but it feels like we'll have opportunity moving forward to talk about Caroline. So staying in the moment, the winter classic yesterday afternoon. I don't know. I feel like, I mean, I know it's a fan based event. And I know that the players in the clubs buy into it. I loved the fact. And I don't know whose idea this was. I'm going to find out. The Boston Bruins arriving wearing Boston Red Sox old unis. Did you see that? See, but if that Steve mayor from the NHL or whomever came up with that idea, that is the spirit of the winter classic. The players bought in like Brad marchand looked like an old Boston Red Sox player. Since he's walking in, you know, just looks like that. Beyond that, it is a spectacle. I feel like you have to be there to truly get it to feel it to get that wholesome takeaway. Otherwise, as we watch it on TV, it's just another game. You know, it just looks like another game. But in the moment, it's bigger than that. And so big day for Jacob rusk with a couple of goals. What is it about this? Well, first of all, I mean, offer a quick thought on just the winner classic overall and then what is it about the bruins? How do they keep rolling rate? They just dig themselves out of adversity every single time. Well, the touch on the game, I think you hit all the hit all the points, drakes. There's a certain faction that say there's too many outdoor games. You shouldn't play anymore. It started out as a national spectacle. And then it's become more of a local markets thing that we show on national TV. And the local markets love it. And that's why there's going to continue to be more of them. And it looks like it would be really fun to be there. Like the people look like they had a good time. I thought the game was kind of a dud. It was a bit flat. And that's the way games can be in the regular season. Outdoor game is about the venue and everything around it. Once the game starts, the cameras can't show, like they can have 8000 cameras there. It doesn't matter. You got to show the rank. The link's 200 by 85. It's all you can show. It doesn't matter if they got the green monster in the background. You can't see it. You can if you're there, but so it's a location based event. I think it best serves when you're there. As far as the bruins. So I worried coming into the array could they stay in the mix until all their injured guys got back from off season surgery. I didn't realize they weren't going to lose a home game here and now we're in the January. I didn't think I didn't think I didn't trust that David krejci was going to be able to come back and make such an impact. So there are two centers. There are two top centers or 37 years old. The only the only roadblock I see for them is health to those center to bergeron and creature. Because this is a well balanced team, they play a style that is really aggressive. They get scoring from a bunch of different places. Like, remember, Nick foligno was on waivers. And Jim Montgomery said, I think he can get ten goals this year. And he's going to do it. And he looks terrific. So the bottom of their lineup is better. Their defense is really good. Line is all Mark has been rewarding. He's got it as pocket right now. I think now he's 20 and one and one. Like how's that for a start? You know, so the bruins are and there's one other thing, Drake, and of course you can't quantify this. You can't touch it, you can't feel it. You just have, it's just there. And that's their chemistry, the way they fit, it just seems perfect right now in Boston. And if I were dawn Sweeney, I'd be really nervous about tinkering too much with this team come up to the deadline here. I know there's some rumors about Patrick Kane. I love Patrick Kane as a player fantastic. Yeah. But what if you drop them in there and it throws the mix? Like what if they were able to make a deal for a significant addition like that? And that happens. That happens. It always does. They get Taylor hall playing on a third line with Charlie Coyle. He's had a fantastic year. That line is a problem for teams to match up against. And then yesterday, things don't work. Montgomery moves the deck chairs around a little bit and all of a sudden, different lines, different players, hall sets up the de brusque game winner and Jake de brosco got a big day, you know? And so it's fun. I enjoyed watching it, but I think it's best when you're there. That's my guess. I think it's best when you're there. I've been to them, haven't you? Yeah. I've never been to one. I went to modern Vancouver, but it was in the dome. It was inside. No, and I've enjoyed my experiences. I've been to a couple of heritage classics, a winter classic at Yankee Stadium. I've enjoyed them when I'm there, you know? And I'd like to take my family because when you're there, even though you can't see much, it just feels like you're oh, you know what? I wasn't an old door game. The outdoor winter classic at the world junior. An amazing day in Buffalo, about 42 feet of snow. Those poor shovelers, the guys that came over. Oh my God, they must all had back issues by the end of it. There was so much snow. And it was an amazing day. We've got a question about the bruins and the penguins. So think about this as we continue the podcast. Don't answer again. It's on Instagram. It's part of Oscar and Greg's anything. But a question about which team will have more Hall of Famers who are currently playing on the roster of the penguins or the Boston Bruins. So there you go. Those are your headlines. "Assuming health, assuming the risk issues are behind him and he plays this way. Yeah, this guy's living, especially you're seeing some of these contracts rolling for young forwards. I mean, he must be just licking his lips seeing every one of them because yeah, I'd say definitely in the double digit range, probably around 11 ish. I guess. I'd say so too. I mean, it depends if the cap goes up even more and he has one more big year in weights. Yeah. Could you imagine? Well, Dylan Larkin's the next domino to fall in that regard in terms of kind of like a young leader for his team. And I wonder if with the cap going up 4 million next year and he has one more year left on his deal. And then let's say the cap goes that this is being very optimistic. But let's say it goes up another three or 4 million. It's going to reset the entire market as far as the contracts we're looking at. The percentage of the cap when X are 9 million on top of the cap now. I don't know if he's going to get 12 or 13, but I'm very curious to see how big these numbers are going to get in a hurry within a year or two. Yeah, but thought process like that enables this organization, which they've done for years. It's like, oh, well, listen, we can make all these investments because the cat's going to go up every year. Let's talk about what she's going to get paid. I saw some of that with the JT Miller contract as well, where I was like, oh yeah, wow, he's making this percentage of the cap now, but four years from now, it's going to be peanuts compared to it's like, okay, what type of player is he going to look like in four years? That's the bigger question. You can't wear. With Patterson, you don't worry about it. Of course. Because of his age. His age is going to play it out and whatever it is, but the number might be more eye popping than people expect. Maybe in a year or so, but on JT Miller, there are a lot there isn't a lot you can take from his game that's redeeming outside of just to share production. Yeah. Especially in this, your last year you could make the same argument, but there was more to his game. The power play is terrible. I mean, one thing you could say about him was he a catalyst on the power play real solid producer there. With that not being the case, it's like, what edge are you bringing outside of just, you know, scoring some points, which is good, but obviously not leading to any victories.

"You're right. And because you made the comparison and it's an appropriate one to block best in the Canucks. Why don't we just shift over there as we start our Canadian tour? Man, endless speculation. You live in that market. I do a segment with Blake and Matt on saint carrison price. Every Wednesday, we're chewing on Barack besser. We're chewing on JT Miller. Conor Garland's name is out there. You know, look, I had a conversation with Jimmy Rutherford earlier this week about it. And typical of Rutherford, he's just not in any rush, or at least he's unwilling to acknowledge that there's any sense of urgency in dealing with it. The reason I'm laughing is Jimmy's famous for moving early. I know, I know. When you say he's not in a rush, except every year, trade deadline, he's one of her strikers, right? Well, look, there's the old analogy, right? He's like a duck, you know? He's nice and calm above the water, and then the feet are going like crazy underneath. You know, look, the conversation we had was more specific about GT Miller. And J team Miller has been very productive, as you know, in Vancouver. And that gets the attention of teams around the league. And so, he's a good player. People in Toronto are looking at the second line and they're not seeing enough photo to virus and nylander and Alex kerfoot. And of course, you can look at JT Miller or if Travis connect me wherever available, I don't know why he would be on a Philly, but if he were, you know, you can conjure up how those players would be a good fit on that second line. But if your Vancouver, you've got JT Miller under contract for another season. You know, what's the rush unless somebody blows your doors off, man. There are other players that Jimmy and Patrick galvin are probably looking closer at on the trade front. Well, one of the things that Rutherford said when he took over is that he wants to build cap flexibility, roster flexibility and speed. And those were kind of like his three points when he took over. And so, you know, the salary out without a lot of salary in is clearly a goal because he said that. He wants cat flexibility. They don't have any. The worst place to be in the NHL is when you're at the cap and your team is not very good. Right? And teams end up there all the time. And you're like, okay, so now I've got to change my team, but I've got no cap room. And I've got no flexibility. When you hear that dollar in dollar out, oh my gosh, that is like purgatory. Tough. How are you going to improve? So I think they will be busy. I think they'll try to be busy. And the names you mentioned all carry a price tag to them..

"Twitter, likelihood, Sweeney's resigned. I would say it's fairly high as I just said. I don't see him not getting resigned. Just given again, if this was an outside journal manager, if this guy, they hired off the street. A few years ago, and then it's different. But again, he's been in the organization, knows it, like former Bruin. I don't see them moving on from him. Jacob asked for a year by year oral history of the bruins dating back all the way to 1924, Jacob. Let's start right now. We'll do it straight through. No. Hell yeah, that'd be so fun. I podcast, which is an oral history. Just going through the hockey reference page of every single thing that happened every year. Milt Schmidt scored this game and we get all into those things, but yes, very interesting history will not be going through it in full. They usually try to keep the episodes between like 30 and 40 minutes. That would be much longer. Much, much longer. And I think there's some years recently that people wouldn't want to hear normal history of springing back to bad memories. DK score fantasy points. Asks, should the bruins be selling instead of buying? I just don't see any addition giving the bruins a good shot at the cup. At the valid point. So here's my counter to this because I think DK, I think you're right. And Gavin asked this on YouTube community as well. So both of you guys. I think you have a real point. You know, if you had JT Miller to this lineup, are you now better than the Maple Leafs or the lightning? Probably not. No, I don't think your favorite against those guys. And again, my prediction for the second half is that the bruins upset the pants in the first round. I believe that's still gonna happen. But against Tampa is JT Miller like set you over them, I don't think so. You know, getting lindholm, hit fist Linton on the back end or, you know, a depth guy on D does that set you above those teams? No..

"And I know that sometimes goalies can be they can vary from year to year. It's something like map out. You look at kind of hots for a year, right? When you first came on and seeing like, oh, I can't trade this guy for anything. Look at you. Damn it. Even like vinton, right? Where it's like, you look at his game now and how his dropped off. And again, you got a cup out of it. So good for St. Louis, but it's so tough to find a goalie that you can pencil in year after year after year. I know you're getting very good to great value out of them year in a year out. That's so tough to find. So who knows what's framing is that guy? Let's say you trade him for trickery. It helps you out. Again, chicken helps you out in the short term and you've got a potential elite top pair for the next four or 5 years at the minimum, right? Maybe it helps you out. Maybe you want to cut, but say it doesn't work out and swim in becomes a guy who wins two three vesins. And it's what could have been. And again, it all comes down to what the plan is going forward. If rask is one and done, then I don't think you're moving slam. If rap comes back and it's like, yeah, I want to play for another three, four years, and you've got Omar, then maybe you wet. You're not moving galax Swann for rental hurdle, even if hurdles signs a contract with you. It still doesn't warrant giving up a guy like swam, and especially considering that you're already going to be in kind of cap hell signing whatever mega deal hurdle has. Mill is not worth it. And even then, guys, I have a couple of knee injuries, it's so tough..

"So yes, they are not selling those anymore. So hopefully they go back to a normal reverse retro at least. What they had last year. I think a team like the ducks could use a whole new one. Remember what the ducks was, where it was like the duck coming out of the corner of the Jersey. Some teams that could definitely have some rebrands. Detroit one is going to be wild. It's going to be red and white and just have a big D on it. That's all it's going to be. Aren't they? They're kind of a rough spot. I liked what Montreal did last year. They had blue jerseys. I was like, oh, that was pretty sick. I'll give them that. So I don't know. I mean, I like when they released a ton of these new uniforms. I just hope that they do things logically. Which can't really count on them do it all the time. Speaking of logic, JT Miller is the guy that a lot of people have their eyes on for the bruins. It was reported I believe was it by Friedman at the bruins were in on their valley, had someone kicking the tires of the brooms along with Calgary Minnesota and New York. Yes, so kick in the tires. And I think the big issue with that is there's no doubt that JT Miller would fit here. It could be long-term here. Definitely be a good guy down the middle. The problem comes down to, what are you trading for? And do you have enough when you're going up against those teams? Like Minnesota and New York. I mean, what's the deal? Yeah. No, I think that's the challenge. And I don't think the return would be as much as let's say like check run, where it's what, swimming, starting with it. I don't think you have to think about swimming for it, but I think Sarah valley said, you're looking at probably a first round pick easily, a highly touted prospect, which I think for the bronze. That's where it gets into our eye. What constitutes that, right? Are we looking at a guy who likes tonika, we're looking at a guy who's maybe brought his value up like that and how valuable he could be, or are we talking about The Crown jewels of the farm system where it's mason warrior, Fabian lifestyle or what have you. And star valley also said it could be like another guy on top of that, which, all right, if you're the bruins and let's say it's a first.

"We were getting started. Probably someone doesn't run up to the window and like, you know, it was like there was an elderly, there was an elderly gentleman who was like right over there. And I thought he was peeking in. Thankfully, it seems like the screen is like the sunlight is deflecting it. But I thought he was going to just be in the shot with me too, which I was going to have to be the YouTube thumbnail of like me and my friend. But he was left. We'd have to get his take on stuff, you know. He's definitely a terrible take. Great takes from the elderly gentleman and Dunkin Donuts. Before we get to JT Miller and some interesting stuff you wrote about him in the bruins going for him last week. I do want to get to some news around reverse retros, because everyone's kind of been wondering, bruins had a sick reverse retro a lot of teams had really cool reverse retros where the hell are they? Uh, and NHL news at puck report NHL on Twitter. Reported the NHL reverse retro programmed by Adidas such return next season per iced program. Yeah, ice lot of Seattle. The program will once again involve all 32 teams with new designs with some reportedly bending the definition of the reverse retro. Now what I would imagine is that there's a few teams who do not have retro jerseys for the show there's nothing they can do about that. But what I will say when it comes to the bruins, because other teams are other teams. The prunes had a nice reverse retro. If they brought back the same reverse retro, I would not complain at all. Yeah, I'm like already still surprised that they haven't brought those ones back. It's typical NHL like big brain theory to be like, all right, we have these really unique. Unless you're a good write red wings, really unique jerseys that we have. Let's roll them out for a 56 game season where there's no fans in attendance where they'll wear them what. Ten games maybe if we're lucky. And then get rid of them. Put them in the Disney vault. Remember when you'd watch like old Disney movies and they'd throw them in the Disney World where you didn't even know what that meant. That's where all the reverse retros are now, because you can't buy them anymore. I don't think. So for the NHL wanted for them to just scrap it after one year was ridiculous anyway, but who knows what the actual next design is going to be? I joked instead it was going to be the pooh bear, which I doubt it. But at this point, just bring back the one they had for the Lake Tahoe game, like it was different enough. I don't really know there's a lot of detractors with it..

"So I'm sure yeah, you take some of the positives from it like Jacob Russ still is been very, very solid over the last couple of games now, which is great not only in the fact that you've got a guy in the bottom 6 that's playing well, but also he's raising his trade value, which should make every single potty happy in this whole ordeal hopefully he gets moved and you get a good return for him. But even then, even if you want to focus on the positives, and the way that game ended, still makes it a pretty crappy way to move on from it. Not just the fact that you let two points slip away, but that could have been probably the statement one of the season, right? I mean, for the first two periods, and the ruins were executing very well in terms of not just obviously converting on their chances, but the PK looked good. Even though guys like makara were getting shots, they were kept to the outside. They were slowing them down in the neutral zone quite a bit. As much as I think people have talked about the last few weeks about bronzino make upgrades on defense and do they need like a guy like check run or what have you. For the first two periods, you saw how the brooms can execute and how they can hold their own when they have all their guys operating as one unit of keeping them to the outside, slowing them down, getting too guys on one skater crossing the blue line. Things that you have to do to limit these teams. You saw that being executed, then in the third, everything went away. Like, the bruins like pretty much to like prevent defense. And like pretty much took the foot off the gas. And what do you know, Colorado came back and capitalized? And that's what not just good teams, but elite teams do. That's more or less what I wrote about postgame is the bruins. I think you can write up that they're still a very good team. The team that's going to be in the mix as we've said before, but to get to that next tier, we're only Colorado and Tampa and maybe Florida like where they are right now. You're going to take that next step..

Connor informed the people where are you broadcasting from today? Evan, once again, I am from I am broadcasting from a place that again, I usually love to be at Dunkin Donuts, but again, circumstances are less than ideal. Yeah, it's always fun when we talk about this like hyped it up like it's like live from the comedy solids like Connor Ryan live from the frigging Dunkin Donuts fracking on mob or Massachusetts. But that's where I am. The water heater in our apartment exploded and flooded everything. So we are improvising today, and I had my coffee. I had my wake up wrap, so I'm ready to go now. Trudging ahead with less than ideal circumstances. How are you, Evan? I'm doing better, I would say. But at the same time, you had a coffee and wake up wraps and it seems like this was the worst of it, right? You're on the way back up now, it feels like. I would certainly hope so Evan. I would certainly hope so. The dunks see, you gotta get a dunk sponsorship at some point. They got a sponsor you. But anyways, speaking of teams or places that are out of place that are doing things from different locations, this is not bruins related, but it's kind of funny. We can poke fun at it. The coyotes came out on Thursday, saying it was reported that they could be playing at Arizona state for the next three to four years, which is amazing. I think that is incredible. Arizona state is opening up a new wall purpose arena for I believe gymnastics, wrestling, hockey, basketball. I would imagine or if they have their own thing for that already, but I have a lot of that, but I think they I think they absolutely do..

"And we can debate whether or not they should be keep on moving sacrificing draft capital, but if the brass is one piece of a bigger puzzle that gets you a let me take your pick right and hurdle JT Miller or something like that, which I would significantly help your team both right now and in the years going forward you got a legit center. Maybe that's kind of the angle they take, but again, it's tough to find the right fit and what you want to do when also the fact that your roster is pretty much stuck in neutral right now. You can't make much moves. But I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking at maybe some of the bigger picture moves as opposed to a mason Appleton or like a loss in Krauss or something like that. It's an early deadline type move, right? Like it's kind of getting a head start on the deadline. And I agree with you. If they trade in one for one, I don't think you're getting much. I have no need for mason Appleton or Lawson Krause or one of these guys who, as you said in Ryan strobe, a project type guy. And maybe they could find their game here, but what reason would you think they would find their game here? How many forwards have left here who didn't find their game here? Heine de brus Björk. Toronto. I'm definitely missing people. Guys even before Cass and JFK and spoon are like all these guys, they have trouble with these fringe top 6 forwards and making them into something. So what reason would you have to believe that mason Appleton comes here and becomes a second line winger or a steady third line presence? So to me, it's the package move. And I think the only way I like the deal if it's one for one realistically is if it's for a right shot defenseman because you need some depth on that right side on D so if you can get a right shot defensive for de brusk straight up, I don't hate that. I'm fine with that. It depends obviously who the right shot defenseman is, and that's kind of the thing. Who is it going to be? They're not just trading defensemen around the NHL. So yeah, I mean, the package move. You know, if you did, you know, dubrovka second and maybe a prospect for Miller or Brock besser. Investors kind of been trade rumors forever around him. But he was pretty consistent for a few years. So maybe he's a guy you get. I wouldn't hate that. And that makes you better because again, this team isn't scoring at all. Like, isn't scoring. You desperately need another top 6 weapon. And again, especially for whether it's a galaxy JT Miller, how much hurdle, I think you've seen now what you just really need in terms of having more strength down the middle, just not only the domino effect of having another guy that could maybe draw more play out of Taylor hall because I think you saw in that game on Tuesday, granted, prudence didn't score 5 and 5 goal, but Taylor hall with Patrice bergeron and David Paulson arc looked pretty good. Again, most guys look pretty good when you're with those two other guys, but you put them with elite level talent, I think it drives the best side of Taylor house game now. Is JT Miller like an elite talent? He's pretty damn good. Like same with too much hurtle..

You expect that he will be one of their primary penalty killers. Jay beagle out beagle and maat were a tandem that performed reasonably well you see dickinson sort of sliding in and just replacing all jay beagle brought in that element of the game. Yeah and especially if You know i suspect. They'll obviously turn to brandon sutter as their primary kind of pk. Centerman beyond that. You're right because you look at your other of center options and you know i. I wouldn't want to be putting pederson in that situation in that spot. Hor vat really think the peak as his niece. So really i mean dickinson kind of makes senses as the next next option there and he's obviously a lot of experience doing it He averaged last couple seasons. I think he's been around the two minutes a game rain in terms of. Pk is time. So i think it makes sense as a natural kind of second penalty killing option behind Behind sutter in from everything. That i've seen there's been nothing in this kind of profile that suggests he doesn't poor job of it so i think he's a pretty natural fit there. I saw some of these Unique top nine concoctions harm but the ones that leave. Jt miller at center and some push dickinson to the wing. Is that just crazy. Town is a case for that. What are your thoughts. I'm personally not a fan of it. I'd like to just see them. Stick miller at wing because again you know when when i kind of watched him in that. Watch the tape of center. I just thought he could play center well. But he's just that much better based on a strengths along the walls the only case for it would be if you believe in the idea of a more balanced top nine and trying to spread more talent around your lineup But when i look at this connects team though the way. They're going to have to win hockey games the competitive advantage that they're going to have to lean on maui. Opinion is going to have to be the top six because it's not going to be their back end with the with the way the right side is constructed and now obviously goaltending..

"Where you can customize your own set of covers so be on the lookout so we've gone through the hockey. We've gone through the the drag racing and now i know i know personally. This is probably your your biggest like to have fun with hunting pasha. So there's a lot of big bucks out there in ohio. Yeah there are hundreds of those kid my family's been on there for generations and you know why i think i like it more than golf at the moment because like never get to do it This last year. It was the first time that dan but a hunch basically in the rut and like the prime time unit for hunting the fall. Since i was a little kid since i moved away like might have been like twelve years or something like that. So you know what hundred a little bit in into your hunting out there Renews some guys. That took me out. And then amazing hunting and vancouver. But it's like you're gonna spend a day or two you gotta travel or you got a hike in the mountains. It's a different animal out here. but yeah i love it both gun hunting but this last year i probably spent close to a hundred hours a tree stand as call. Oh man it was. It was so good to be back and sitting in land up over in ohio Besides reforms we'd been allowed to hunt for years but my thirty acres that we hunt and trees. Dan's everywhere every cameras up. You know we never own little camera for the trina record. Kill shot and stuff. It's it's definitely probably my ultimate fashion. When i've done playing you know. Probably my like i said my pushing for years to come get a little hunting show going. We've already talked about it. My buddy you know that would be nothing fancy but definitely a little hobby something we could get into and i love love sitting in the woods. I go out and vote. And i can't sit around for hours at a boat not catching anything. But you know if i said the woods before four hours. Don't say anything. I seem to be okay with it. So i enjoy the tranquility one hundred percent. I was just going to say there's a lot of parallels with with with archery hunting and golf so to speak because again accountability. I mean you got to be able to shoot that arrow. I've archery hunted. I like archery like sitting in a tree. Stand and not having anybody talking to me and i'm not really an introvert but i liked to be introverted at times and hunting in that regard is very grounding and again what you just said tranquil but.

"And she can. She can drink. You need no good mugging light not wrong. If you can't admit you kick your coverage in life there's something wrong with you. I mean we all did. Yeah well but under percent well now another thing. I'm gonna touch on this golf podcast and we're talking about chason birdies. But you're the drag racing. Well i i haven't done a long time. I grew up doing that. So i'm from ohio. Originally i went to high school there my whole life until i moved away for juniors and my all my you're in the schooling until my junior high school what what my parents put up My mom moved to pit. I think fisher seventh grade. And i played hockey. They're starting in sixth grade. Shrew hockey was always pittsburgh in ohio. Just over just out the youngstown. Where i was born rate so i've been living for my whole life pretty much and the only people still living in ohio would be my grandparents. So that's why there's a little confusion. They're basically grew up there. I've been pittsburgh that's where the hockey was so. I've been there a long time anyway so my grandfather was a mechanic and drag racer for fifty years. So when i was a kid. He got into junior drag racing. You can do it as eight-year-old year old Little lawnmower engines on the little. Like the scale like but they're laying and when you're eight years all you can go out and drag race and in twelve years old like eighty five mph eight while it's insane i. It would be most one thing man. My whenever i got grounded the first thing they took away with that because they do by far was the best and then when i turned sixteen has a sixty. Da camaro that runs about one hundred fifty mile an hour a quarter mile. Does we'll stand the whole thing. So i drove that for ample years. Spent a little busier last couple of years so i haven't done it as much but riot man. I love it for anybody. That's ever gone out. Full track. I fully recommend on. I took my son to one out by the airport. The dirt track the dirt buggies in is so loud and they are spreading. Yeah they.

And that's the crazy thing right now with you guys. Only playing canadian teams. It has to be so different. Oh it's weird. Played six other teams for you know. I think we play. I'm been tandem calgary ten times than the other four canadian teams. We play them nine. So it's been a little thing. It's like playing golf every day with markowski and tancredi i. I don't know if i got actually play golf with those two every day my head off with with the But no it's not. It's like it's not a playoff atmosphere when it comes to the fans obviously but it's link-up playoff game every game. 'cause you know exactly what you're going to get. The other team played new murdy. No word many times. It's weird space out there right now and then yet onto the blood boiling over from game to game..
