Fresh update on "joyce" discussed on Stephanie Miller's Happy Hour Podcast

"Good morning, John. Thank you. Get in the way. Let them run on this. Yes, that and destroying social security and Medicare and perhaps causing worldwide financial catastrophe in the meantime. You know, when we're all old and dying in our lives flashed before our eyes, it's going to be such a drag to revisit all those times we were forced to care about the debt ceiling. For God's sakes, you people, you know, all you need to know is, you know who doesn't like the idea of defaulting on our debt, the Wall Street donors who own these godless shills believe me. It's all more performative puffery. The entire Republican Party are Donald Trump's gay porn NFTs, just fake muscles and performative governance. They don't actually do anything. Their content providers for Tucker. That's all the party of Lincoln is. By the way, so now we have a new dream since I didn't know it was today, the RNC thing. Yes. Yes, my pillow, Mike pillow. Oh, yeah. Mike pillows says he could lead a new election committee for their RNC if his bid to become the new chair fall short. Oh yeah. Yeah. Right. He's teaming up with Dylan to form a unified ticket against Ron and Matt. Daniel, he said, that's not true. But he's feeling really good about his election chances adding he could still be offered an RNC job if he loses. He said that he could be asked to lead a new Republican election committee because that's. Right. Because he said I've been doing this for two years now. Meaning doing this. The election, telling Donald Trump, we should have martial law. You know, you know, I got to tell you, I don't have a my pillow, you know what helps me sleep deeply at night. Imagining Mike lindell being questioned under oath. That's what helps me, not off quick. My toddler called him petulant. You know that my toddler called him petulant. This guy is the face. I'm sorry, this guy, Matt Gaetz, George Santos. They deserve to be the face of this party. Yeah. Oh, by the way, we have a, do we have a is that my dog knows? Listen, you inflame. I don't creatures. With desire. Yes. Okay. George Santos X Pedro a man 8 years his junior. São Paulo. He lives, yes. Yes. He lived with George Santos for a year, rebuffed multiple marriage proposals. Said it was at the beginning of the relationship he was fine. He was so sweet, caring. He actually showed he cared, but later on, I started finding out the lies. I thought it was, it was my phone he stole, I believe. And then the jewelry from a friend. That used to live with us. And then the tickets to Hawaii that he purchased for us to go when he was planning on proposing for the third time. That engagement never happened. Do you think he might have gotten him an engagement ring and then stole it back? I probably. Yeah. When I found out about all the other stuff I thought, what a psycho. Keep him famous, keep him famous. That's sad. Sad. It's a sad story. Representing Long Island, baby. Where I come from. I'm not surprised at all. That's relatable, at least to me, finding out you did the psycho. I mean, you know, it could happen. Okay. Speaking of election. I'm trying to I'm trying to narrow down who you're referring to. You just give me one of the decades. My mind field of bad choices. I made up with it now. I have made up more now. I have a fantastic girlfriend. There are a few choices, though, that Jews from. There are. I'm just trying to make you narrow the field to a question. It is quite true. It was mostly silent about the Maricopa County 2020 election audit. But it's influenced the process was much more prominent than it seemed. He received a direct updates fraudulent audit of, okay. With his allies pressuring the lead contractor to on when to report findings, the contractor asked people close to the former president, he could help pay for it. Wait, does that in my morning stuff? Yeah, that's in the morning stuff. Okay, pardon me. Trump secretly gave 1 million to the Arizona side. I'm sorry, but the dog sauce work with this copy. The shrill crazy dogs works with any kind of Trump story. That's what the ninja audit sounded. No, it sounds like foreplay between Kimberly and Don Junior in the background. It does sound good. It's allegedly Coke fueled. This is bath salts. What? My God. My God. I need it in San Antonio. You're on with your Google saying hello Anita. Good morning, everyone. I have a question for John. Uh oh. Yes. Hello. Hi. After everything has come out about, you know, disasters force of the Trump administration. Do you still think George W. Bush was the worst president? It's really hard. I really struggle with it on paper. I will say, if you consider Iraqi lives to be human lives, then yes, I consider George W. Bush to be a worse president just in terms of sheer suffering caused to humans, then yeah, George Bush is the worst president of our lifetime. 1400 thousand Americans died. No, 1 million Americans died. A million Americans in total and let's be honest, a lot of that is because of Donald Trump's lies. Yes, look, if you go by sheer American deaths, Donald Trump is the worst. If you go by human deaths, it's not even a contest. And you bush also has a collapsed world economy on a collapsed housing market. You know, again, died in World War II. I'd love to blame Trump. But the fact is, I'm really upset at how many people in the Democratic Party and the media have normalized George W. Bush. But he doesn't deserve to spend the rest of his life in The Hague. You want to think my new picture? No, don't normalize this guy. He is a this is the game show we found ourselves in. What do you call it treasonous? For Russian asset who is committing espionage. I mean, they're both trying to overthrow the United States government. Technically a bigger criminal than the work criminal. I mean, it's hard to say, bush is the guy. The guy I'd like to have a beer with. Sorry? No, I mean, I'm with you all the way. Donald Trump tried to do a lot of horrible things. And let's not forget Bush failed to privatize social security. He failed a lot of his horrible things too. It's going to take years after both administrations to properly. We had to be far away from both the judge, which was the worst. We can agree that the two worst presidents we've had in the last 80 years were the last two Republicans. Yes. Well, this is true. I just think that I think that Donald Trump was just so unfair. I'm not saying he was. But he did have a couple people around him that kind of tempered him. No, he did. No. No, but there's a overthrew other governments. He overthrew other governments illegally. No. And it was a lie. There were no WMDs. Kids don't fight. They're both dead soldiers. 1 million dead Iraqis. Social W Bush knew how the system worked and worked within that system. George Trump had no idea how government works, thought he could run it like a business. I tried to ramp things with no loose. I know. Trump bush is someone. Thanks for the criminal in office. Did criminal things in office? Trump is a lifelong criminal who became president. And honestly, let's be real. When we talk about presidents Bush and Trump, we're really talking about presidents Cheney and Putin. So let's call them by their proper names. Exactly. I'm still wrapping my head around just the headlines, Travis. Sometimes they just sort of sum everything up. Bill Barr asked Italian officials to discredit Russia probe. They responded with evidence linking Trump to crimes. Entirely others. Boozy. The scuzzy investigation. I will say just based on the, I mean, and I thought George W. Bush's voice was irritating, just based on the fact that we still have to endure this. I want to say Trump's worse. The new House committee. On the weaponization of the federal government. You got to watch it. To expose the breathtaking corruption of the security state, the media and the Washington swamp. Low energy. Here are just a few of the questions the committee hopefully will be asking. When the Mueller team was in charge of leaking secret information and fake news stories. To dishonest journalists of which are many. Russia hoax, and that's what it was turned out. It was a total hope. You can tell when he's off prompt. Could tell when he speaks information. Horrible thing that was given to the people of our country. You sound kind of like the turtle. When's the pill lady gonna come change me? Where's the pale lady gonna come change me?

Joyce Vance: Choosing to Prosecute or Not Prosecute Someone

"Here is one of them a former federal prosecutor on MSNBC showing you the clown show we have choosing to prosecute or not prosecute people This lady I guess his name is joy Vance She's gushing over the Donald Trump referral from the January 6th committee And she compares it to the Mueller report The Mueller report of all things but it's kind of clear at the end of this either she hasn't actually read the Mueller report or she read the Mueller report and it's just lying on TV And you think you're ever going to have a fair shot against someone like this When the Mueller report first came out in that first part of the report talking about the campaign's potential coordination with Russia Mueller concluded that he simply could not talk about what happened because so much of the evidence that they needed the testimony that they needed had been withheld from them Witnesses wouldn't talk some of the evidence was located out of their reach And so they said had we been able to see all of the evidence we might have reached different conclusions but here's everything that we've got Now we see an echo of that happening I guess these are fitting bookends for the Trump presidency Obstruction of justice which they so often tried to dismiss as saying it was just a process crime as though somehow it didn't matter And now we see how important legal process is because ultimately the criminal justice system tries to get it the truth And the truth is how we get an accountability what chairman Thompson told us was so incredibly important here If we were going to prevent a repeat of January 6th

Hakeem Jeffries unanimously elected leader of House Democrats, calls for bipartisanship

"House Democrats will have a new leader in the new session of Congress next month, and he's vowing to find common ground with Republican leaders. New York congressman Hakeem Jeffries becomes the first black American to lead a major political party at the capitol. The 52 year old is vowing to get things done for the American people. Fight for better paying jobs, fight for safer communities, defend democracy, fight for reproductive freedom. On ABC's this week with George Stephanopoulos, Jeffreys vows to work with Republicans wherever they can. They're going to double and triple down on the extremism that we've seen from people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, that would be unfortunate. Republican congressman David Joyce of Ohio is also rejecting extremism on the hill. He says the party needs to serve the public that put them into office. Glenn Kirschner: The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals Opinion Is 'Poetry'

"You said justice is coming this morning. It's a sunrise justice. Yeah, and that was almost premature jingle there. That kind of hurt. Sorry. Yeah, no. I think things are looking up. Objectively, things are looking up with the 11th circuit with Trump's former high White House lawyers being ordered back into the grand jury to tell the whole truth about Trump and on and on. It's just kept coming for Trump this week. Yeah. It's a beautiful thing. Well, I mean, as you were saying back when this happened, this was just so improper in the first place. They obviously went judge shopping for judge cannon, which she did was completely improper, but I think as you told us at the time, it just caused the delay that he was hoping for, but that's over now, right? It is over. And you know, it's a really important opinion. I would urge everybody to read at least pages 20 and 21, three paragraphs, because as I said on Lawrence O'Donnell's show last night, that is about as close as you get to rule of law, poetry. It was so good. And let me say I was on the panel with my friends Joyce Vance and barb mcquaid. So you know I kind of dragged down the IQ of the panel. But I have to quote what my friend Joyce Vance said, she said that the 11th circuit Court of Appeals opinion was so scorched earth that basically they bench slapped judge cannon. Yeah. And that was a perfect way to put it.

Trump Keeps Confessing to Crimes With Glenn Kirschner

"This is how we know God loves us and wants us to be happy is because Trump has committed more crimes since we booked you yesterday. So what is it? Yeah. Yeah, good morning, Steph, and how about we see some indictments for some of these guys? Yeah. Yeah. I think Joyce fans said the best part of social media is the confessions. With Trump always I mean, and again, I know he's a notorious liar, but I mean, what do you make? I don't know if it's part of him trying to burn Ron desantis and the Republican Party to the ground or, you know, but obviously that needs to be investigated, right? It does. And it needs to be invested in the Department of Justice actually has no choice because once they have been attacked and it's been alleged that DoJ was part of Trump's efforts to unlawfully interfere in the Florida election. Let me tell you, DoJ has absolutely no discretion. They have to look into it if only to debunk it. Right. So another good development, something else that needs to be investigated.

The Legal Significance of the Trump Raids With Attorney Joyce Vance

"I have to say even for you, like, solid calm professionals. This is a lot this week. I mean, just those of us that aren't lawyers are like, oh my God. And now Scott Perry's phone. I mean, talk to us about I don't even know where to start with the legal significance of this week. But go ahead. So maybe one way of looking at it, this is probably the most boring way, but you know me, I'm boring. Yeah. That's what we love about it. Is that today is 89 days before the midterm election, Mar-a-Lago was searched. 91 days before the midterm election. And DoJ notoriously tries to go dark on politically complicated investigations. At a period of time sufficiently far enough out from an election to avoid any allegation that they're influencing the election. You know, the ghost of Jim Comey sort of lingers over that whole thing. I'm glad you got to him before I did. Yes. Early. If DoJ had stuff to do, it makes sense that we would see it happening this week. And so now they've got 90 days to quietly sort through what they obtained at Mar-a-Lago. We have no idea what that is. And figure out, you know, let's just put this on the table early. Two things could be going on at Mar-a-Lago, assuming the reporting is correct. This is about national security classified papers. One is there could be a criminal investigation going on. These cases are rarely prosecuted, but there's some factors here that suggest that there would be good reason to investigate and consider that. Possibly more importantly are the national security implications. And whenever you have a spill of classified evidence, you've got to figure out what's involved in the spill and whether or not there is risk to national security. So, you know, we've got a former president who notoriously sat at dinner at Mar-a-Lago and sort of crowdsourced advice on how to handle a Korean missile launch. There's no telling what he would do with papers. The important thing is that people need to get people government needs to understand what's happened and what the risks are.

'This Isn't Like Watergate' Says Watergate Prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks

"Hide your wine banks. Good morning. Good morning, Stephanie Miller. How are you? I'm very fine and dandy on this historical day. I just have to read this part of the statement from the office of the 45th president for you. He said, what is the difference between this and Watergate? Where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee here in reverse Democrats broken in the home of the 40th president of the United States. Your thoughts don't want base. Like that lamp. That was my thought. When I first heard that, I was actually on air as this was breaking. And I burst into hysterical laughter because it's so outrageous. I know that some people may think that they are only people who listen to Donald Trump because operatives did not break into his house and Democrats didn't break into his house. FBI agents had a search warrant to buy a judge, finding probable cause that there was evidence of a crime at Mar-a-Lago, and therefore they had a legal reason for going there. So it's not at all like a burglary and the night by former CIA agents were part of the bay of pigs invasion of Cuba. No, it's not at all like that. This is actual law enforcement. That's how law enforcement works in America.

Jill Wine-Banks Explains What Goes Into Getting a Search Warrant

"Can you explain as a prosecutor? Jill, what a lot of people have said is do you know how much evidence there has to be for a judge to sign off on a search warrant for the home of a former president. We talked about this with Jeffrey Clark and John eastman that for a lawyer of a president, there's got to be a high bar. Can you explain what just happened yesterday? It's a high power for any American citizen. To be subjected to a search. And a judge will take even extra caution if it happens to be somebody who happens to be the former president of the United States. The bar is very high. It isn't the same as what it would take to convict at a trial, which is beyond a reasonable doubt. But probable cause means it's more probable than that. And remember, there is a judge who has already found that Don eastman and Donald Trump more probably than not, more likely than not, committed a crime. As far as the reporting here, we can, I would say, conclude that the reason for this search had to do with missing documents that were wrongfully taken from The White House and kept at Mar-a-Lago. Some of those are highly classified and pose a national security threat. We don't know if those are the ones that they were looking for. We don't even know for sure that it was documents that belong to the government and not to Donald Trump that they're looking for. But we do know whatever they were looking for if they find other things that are evidence of crime. They can take them if they're in plain sight. They have to be within the exact precincts of what the subpoena said. So if the subpoena says they can search a safe, they can search his office, they can search his bedroom. All of that is fine. That means they can't go into the lobby. It means they can't go into the bed, whatever room isn't named. But if they find something there, then in the places that are specified, it's fair game.

Malcolm Nance Reminds Everyone That Warrants Are Lawful

"You know, warrants are executed every day. Hundreds by the FBI, the U.S. Marshals. You know, it means that law that judiciary has found adequate evidence in order to have your place searched waving the Fourth Amendment, right? Unlawful search and seizure. This is lawful search and seizure. And they can't wrap their heads around it. What they're really upset about is that laws are applying to Donald Trump and people like them. White people. And Malcolm, this is your area of expertise, national security. This is again none of us know all the details, but certainly the speculation is this is national security related. To get a warrant to raid the home of a former president, means, you know, this clearly was classified information as Joyce Vance just told us, I don't care what they say. They obviously didn't properly declassify it. They're trying to claim that now, but in order to get her do a raid, Malcolm talked to us a little bit about, you know, because obviously there's a lot of speculations. Are they selling the secrets to the Saudis to the Russians? Like, who knows, right? Oh God. Oh my God. Or they're documents which are implicate them in crimes that they classify. Yeah. You know? And they know that these documents are missing because there's a sequence of numbering one up numbering every one of those documents. And they're missing. And I understand, it wasn't 15 boxes they're looking for. 27? Yeah. I think 24, 27, 20 5 is what I heard this morning, but a lot. My understanding. They took 12 more. They were originally 15. They took 12 more boxes out of Mar-a-Lago so bring the total to 27. I'm sorry.

Glenn Kirschner on the Importance of the Proud Boys Conspiracy Charge

"Let's just say Joyce white Vance also said it has proven very difficult to convince a jury to convict, that makes important to remember that this very conservative Justice Department has decided it has sufficient evidence now on two militia groups. That's the start of the really big deal, right? Seditious conspiracy charges against Proud Boys and the oath keepers, right? Because that's very hard to prove. That was a big indictment to drop and it actually I think tells us something about the likely coordination between the Department of Justice and the J 6 committee. And you know, I take a slightly different view than my good friend Joyce Vance. I don't think it's all that hard to convince juries to do the right thing once you provide them with common sense, evidence that a crime has been committed and we can prove corrupt intent by the defendant. We've got that in bucket loads. But this seditious conspiracy indictment against the Proud Boys, it is really interesting for a couple of reasons. I was I was so interested in it because it came down one day. I believe day before yesterday was announced by the Department of Justice, big deal charges, seditious conspiracy for Enrique tarrio and four of his underlings. And the very next day, Steph, the J 6 committee announced we will be opening Thursdays hearings by focusing on the seditious conspiracy of the Proud Boys. That's not a coincidence step. That reinforces my belief, which I think you and I have talked about, that the team of former federal prosecutors who are investigating this these crimes for the J 6 committee are coordinating with the team of federal prosecutors at the Department of Justice who are investigating it criminally. And this is yet another indication of that. That was not a coincidence that we got Proud Boys seditious conspiracy and the very next day J 6 a by the way. That's how we're opening day after tomorrow.

"They get a point where when it's time for your kids to go, you're glad. It's like, yo. Come see me, bring the grand babies, but don't stay long. You know what? I mean, I'm just having fun with you. How many of you agree with that? It's not wise to just put everything into one thing. And I think even in a marriage, I think, of course, different people are different. There are some people that can do every single thing together every day of their life. I need a little space. And Dave needs a little space, so after 52 years, you get things worked out really good. It's just like, I mean, I used to get so mad when he'd go out and play golf, and now I'm like, don't you want to go play golf? In other words, if you want to have good relationships with people, stop trying to make them be what you want them to be and learn to love who they are. So we had a couple that lived with us for 18 years. It was one of the ministry was first starting and we didn't have any money to hire any kind of help and the ministry was still in the basement of our home then and this couple, God put it on their heart and you put it on our heart to ask them to come and work with us and help us and it would have been volunteer position at first and so we asked them to meet us for dinner and when we ask them how they'd feel about getting involved in helping us, they said God already put it on our heart, we're ready. And so you see when something is right, you don't have to try to make somebody do something. God will prepare everybody's heart. And it will be an easy, smooth transition. Well, they started by just coming out to our house almost every night and they'd do laundry or this or that or whatever needed to be done, which left me free to study and I teach a lot now, but I mean, I used to be like, almost like a crazy person. I mean, I would teach 20, 25 times a month. And every message was different. And if I wasn't preaching, I was studying the preacher putting together a messages or writing a book and so I didn't have time to do much else. And so as the ministry grew, they spent more and more time with us and then as we started to travel, they stayed with our kids sometimes we'd be gone overnight or on the weekend and so 18 years they lived with us and they did everything with us. Went out to eat with us. And it was just wonderful. We never had a problem. Ever had arguments never had any issues between us, we just loved them. They loved us. It was perfect situation. And then the season was up. And it was the hardest thing because all of a sudden, just them being there annoyed me. And then I would get mad at myself because I felt that way. Because I didn't understand why I felt that way. How many of you know sometimes things are changing and your feelings change and you just don't understand why you feel that way and you even think what it's me, something's wrong with me. And I mean, I went through everything from thinking I wasn't a loving person to I wasn't appreciative and all these different things. Well, it took a lot longer than it should have. For us to make the change, but two years and finally, all four of us got it. It was time for a change. And we're still Friends today. We love them. They love us. But what used to say, then every day of our lives, for 18 years, and now we see them maybe 5 times a year. Something like that. But you know, we've got a relationship with deep roots. We would do anything for them if they ever needed help. They would do anything for us, but you have to be willing to let things change. Now, I'm going to make a statement that has really impacted my life in the last couple of years, and I hope that it will mean something to you. We may even go to God and ask him when are you going to answer this prayer? No matter how long the wait, God always has a good plan at the right time. Today, Joyce wants to encourage us that choosing to trust him in those waiting times will prepare us for when God's answers do come. Now, here's Joyce with the series, win God, win. Well, I'm gonna be teaching this weekend a message called wind God win. Nobody ever has that question, do they? Oh God, when will my breakthrough come? When God win, we're going to talk about tomorrow afternoon the seasons of our lives, you need to know be able to discern when a season's changing and you're gonna always have to let go of something to take hold of something. Going to talk about all the questions we have that God's not going to answer. And how we just need to learn to be patient. You see Jesus died yes, so we should go to heaven when we die. But he also died for us to have a wonderful life while we're here. And you know, if you're frustrated all the time because things aren't happening on your timetable or there's things going on in your life that you don't understand, then you're not going to enjoy your life. We need to live in what the Bible calls the rest of God. It's a special kind of rest that you can have even in the midst of the storms of life. Everything doesn't have to be perfect. We don't have to know everything. You don't have to have everything figured out. You replace all that with trust that God is good, that he knows what he's doing. And that he will do the best thing for you.

"On and on. But it says here, don't merely desire peaceful relationships with God. With yourself and with your fellow man, but pursue and go after them. So this is so important because I think that there's a pattern here. You've got to have number one peace with God. Number two, you've got to have peace with yourself. Number three, then you can move on to peace with people. But I think one of the biggest problems that we have is we're trying to get along with people when we don't even like ourselves. Did you ever think about the fact that you have a relationship with you? And everywhere you go, there you are. I mean, you can't sleep without you, you can't eat without you, you can't go to the bathroom without you. And if you don't like you, what a miserable day. But let's just start with having peace with God. I'll just say a little bit about this. Obviously, if you're going to have peace with God, you need to repent of your sins. Turn away from them, want a relationship with God. But let's just say that you are a Christian and maybe you're one of those foolish Christians. It's gotten a little bit mad at God because you're disappointed with the way your life's turned out. All you would probably never say you were mad at God, but truth is many people are just a little bit sour in their attitude toward God. They feel that God owes them something. And after all, I prayed and I believed and I went to church and I gave and now look, well, it's possible that maybe you were telling God what you wanted and you failed to find out what God wanted. A lot of times we're given God our plan and we're mad at him because he's not making it work. We don't plan and then pray for God to make it to work. We pray and find out what God's plan is. Hallelujah. First Corinthians, chapter two verse two, Paul said something that is very valuable, I believe. He said, I'm determined to know nothing among you, but Christ and him crucified. Paul was a very intelligent, highly educated man. And I think somewhere in his walk with God, he just got tired of trying to figure stuff out. And he said, I don't have to know why this happened. Why that happened? Why one disciple had this happen? Another one had something else happened. Why one suffers? Another one don't. I don't have to try to figure all that out. All I need to know is Christ. I know God. I know his character. I know he's good. I know he loves me. I know I can trust him. I don't have to figure out the why behind everything. All I need to do is trust God. The Bible says, well, you know, in part, we're never going to understand God. And if we ever could, then he could no longer be our God. One of the reasons why we look up to him is because there's a mysterious part to God that so much greater than what our mind can ever get hold of. First Corinthians ten, 9 and ten gives us some insight into the dangers of having a little rift with God. And I know you look very innocent tonight, but I can promise you there are people in this room that walked in tonight, mad at God. Maybe you haven't put it in those words yet. But there's a little sour not saying your spirit because it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to. I had a woman tell me just recently that she was mad at God for many years because when she was 50 years old, she was still single. And the one thing that she had prayed for and beg God for was a husband. She couldn't understand it. She tried to be a good Christian. She believed God. She had gone to church, she tried to be a blessing to people in this one thing that she wanted. Had not happened in her life. Until finally, she gave it up and told God, I can be happy with her husband or without a husband. I don't have to have that to love you and to be happy. And then he gave her one. Well, then there were only married about ten years, and she had a wonderful husband and he went to the hospital to have a routine surgery. Got a staph infection and died. Who can understand that? We can not understand that. She had to make a choice to appreciate the ten years she had with him. Rather than get bitter because something went wrong that she couldn't grasp our understand. Don't be mad at God. He's the only person that can help you. When we get disappointed with God, our mad about the way things are going in our life the first thing we start to do is crab and complain. Which is very dangerous. It's back to that if you want to enjoy life and see good days, good weather, parent and not keep your tongue free from evil. That includes murmuring, grumbling, and complaining. I'm sure none of you ever complain, you just look to me like you just never complain about anything. "Our relationships are such an important part of our lives. We prefer all our relationships to be positive, but what about those who bring us stress or just kind of get on our nerves? How can we be in a relationship with them? Thankfully, God's word is filled with the answers we need to have healthy relationships, no matter how those around us behave. Today Joyce will share some of the ways we can all work toward having more joy and peace with everyone in our lives. Now here's Joyce with the series enjoying successful relationships. I'll tell you what. I had a lot of one sided relationships in my life, people who used me. They took and put nothing back. And about 5 years ago, I got tired of that. And I thought, I'm either going to have real Friends or I'm not going to have any. I'm not going to, I'm not going to hang out with takers. I'm not going to hang out with users. Now I'll hang out with them long enough to try to help them be an example to them. But we have no real relationship if there's no doing. That's why love is not theory and it's not talking. It's not a sermon that everybody can say, amen to and they'll go home and do nothing. Church, if we're ever going to get anything, we've got to get this. Do you understand what we've got to get this? And not just a man, boy, sister, joy, sure, breaks the good message tonight. No, we got to get this. You got to go out of here and you just got to start saying, my God, I need help. Teach me, read every book you can get your hands on on low. Take every scripture you can find in the Bible about love and helping other people and being a servant and write them out in long hand. Don't use your computer this time. Write it out in long hand. It gets in you better if you sit and do it. It takes more time. And study them and study them and study them and study them and study them and study them. I still study the love walk on a regular basis and I've been doing it now for about 15 years. And I can tell you something. I don't have nearly as much trouble with the devil. Now that I'm majoring in love, then when I attended a spiritual warfare seminar, every week, but didn't even like most people, let alone love them..

"There were other things I had to confront. God told me the time would come when I would have to confront my father. All the years that he abused me, nobody ever talked about it. Abuses a stupidest thing. Sexual abuse and especially back then, nobody talked about it. Yeah, I think I might have been one of the first people as far as a ministry person who actually got up in the pulpit and started talking about this kind of stuff. And it happens to so many people, and somebody needs to talk about it. And I'm very glad that I did. But I had never confronted my father. I had never said we need to talk about what you did to me. And I did not want to, because he controlled me with fear, all those years, and to be point blank honest, I was just afraid of him. But God put in my heart first, the time's going to come when I'm going to ask you to go do it. So it's not yet, but be ready. When I tell you, you got to go. I told Dave about it, is that it's not yet, but when I got to go, I'm going to need you to go with me. Well, everybody in my family hid from my mother hid from it. My brother hid from my dad hit from it. There were other relatives in our family that knew full well what he was like and what he was doing. None of them wanted to get involved. So they hid from it one night God just said it's time. I didn't have no time to think about it. And if I would have, I'd still be sitting back to those thinking about it. So I went and just sat down on the floor right in front of him and I said, it's time for us to talk about what you did to me. Oh my God. Wait a minute, you just got so flustered. My mother ran or asked you to run and around the house and running into other rooms and, you know, people get comfortable hiding from their stuff. And so I said, what you did was wrong? It hurt me very badly. That God's using me now. And I said, one of the things that I'm going to tell you is I'm going to be going on television and I tell the story of what happened to me and I just want to let you know that the words are going to get out. I'm not going to keep it a secret any longer. And. You know what? Long story short. When he was 83, I got to lead him to the lord and I baptized him and so. It all ended up okay. "Truth is armor when you start walking in the truth, the in truthful with yourself, especially, is what I'm talking about today. When you start really walking in truth, it gives you an armor against the devil. The Bible says that the belt of truth is one of the pieces of armor that God has given us. Now we know that's talking about the word of God. But the word of God must be applied to our lives. And so anaphase and 6, it says that when you're having problems, you are to tighten the belt of truth. Tight knit, in other words, that means if you're going through something tough, you better hang on to what's in here, like you have never hung on before. And I've learned something about problems. Short term problems are much easier to deal with than long, long. Very long. Problems. Or when you get over one, and another one that comes right back. And you get over another one. And another one comes right back. Anybody here feel like you've just had a train of problems lately? Well, I've been some stuff going on too. Let me tell you. And I've had to hang on. We got time for one more. I have ten of these today, by the way. So I'm 51 6 as behold, you desire truth in the innermost being. So what's our job for today? We're going to be honest with ourselves about ourselves. Right? And you know what we're going to learn how to say? I want you to learn how to say this without mumbling. I was wrong. And I'm sorry. You mumbled. You did okay on the I was wrong, but you went to a low mumble. Come on. I was wrong. And I'm sorry. That can save marriages. It can endear you to people. Thanks for listening. "Not arrive until Jesus comes, but he's going to find me pressing on. These next four verses are probably some of the most powerful scriptures in the word. First 5, Jeremiah 17 5. Thus says the lord cursed with great evil is the strong man who trusts in and relies on frail man, making weak human flesh his arm and whose mind and heart turn aside from the lord. That means that you care more about what people say and keeping them happy and we're running to people instead of putting God first and his will and running to him. He'll be like a shrub or a person naked and destitute in the desert and he shall not see any good come, but he shall dwell in the parts places in the wilderness and an uninhabited salt land. Doesn't sound like very pleasant, does it? Yeah. Most blessing. He's not even just blessed. He is most blessed, is the man who believes in trusting and relies on the lord and whose hope and confidence the lord is. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its what? By the river and it shall not see and fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green and it shall not be anxious and full of care even in a whole year of drought, nars shall at face yielding fruit. That's my goal. That's my goal. I'll tell you what I got so tired of being a yo yo Christian up when my circumstances were up and down when they were down up when they were up and down when they were down. "Pleased. Well, if you're being led by the Holy Spirit, you might get up one morning and pray an hour, you might get up the next morning to pray ten minutes. You might price sit in a chair, you might walk around and pray, you might look out the window and pray. I don't know. Some morning, you might just sit there and laugh, you might look out the window and smile. You know, I keep trying to get people to understand that spending time with God is not so much about what you do as it is just that you have said you are valuable enough. For me to start my day with you and I'm just going to show up and the rest is up to you. Why not get a little life in it? But see, if you don't already know that you're made right with God, then you're going to always think that you've got to do these 12 things to be right. And then you got to do these 12 things to be right. Is anybody tracking with me today? You understand what I'm at. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory. Therefore, all are justified and made right with God. This is for all not just for a handful of people. There is nobody that is hearing my voice today that can not believe whole heartedly that what I'm saying is yours bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. All you have to do is step into it. Stop living by how you feel. Bible says put on righteousness. I'm all for the put on. Yes. That's living on purpose. I don't have to wait to feel like I'm right with God. I wear it. It gives me confidence. It gives me boldness and prayer. It makes the devil man. Hey, man. We get great confidence in our prayer life and boldness to pray and ask for things that just sound positively stupid. If we know who we are in Christ. I'll tell you something that's kind of bothersome to me, and I know that by most people don't even think about it like this. So if I'm overstepping my boundary set to forgive me, but I don't like to hear what I just call just prayers. You're saying, what is it just prayer? If you listen to yourself and people pray, it is very difficult to get through a prayer without using the word just. I know you're still not following me. Here's the way it goes. Now lord, if you'll just help me. God, if you'll just save my son, God, if you'll just let me have this promotion at work. You ought to look that up sometime. You know what the word means barely enough to get by. Who do we think we're talking to? And it's not really about thinking God is little. We don't think that we should be asking for very much. And so we're going to sneak up and ask for just. We do. God, if you, oh God, if you're just forgive my God, just forgive me. Oh, God, if you just let me get married. Oh, God, if I just didn't have to be married anymore. I'm glad I got on my flying suit today. The fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available in its working. And a righteous man is not somebody who never makes a mistake. It's a person who knows who he is in Christ. I'm sure I've done something silly this morning. I'm not aware of anything right now, but surely I must have, because it's noon, I couldn't have possibly gone that long and not. You know, to qualify for sin, all you have to do is send and thought word or deed. I know I've had some crazy thoughts. That's for sure. Thanks for listening. "I said, I have spent 38 years trying to die to self. I'm missing something here. Now, please don't everybody who does selfies all day get mad at me. I know it's a modern thing and you're having fun with it and so please don't write me and tell me I'm out of touch with reality. But I am trying to make a point. Yes. You know, I mean, if there's 450 million. People taking pictures of themselves, all day long and putting them on the Internet, maybe there's a little something else. I mean, at least you're going to do it. Maybe do one a day. I don't know. You know? And perfectly not when you're on here. I'm eating more. Come on. Now come on, don't get mad at me. Like I said, I can just, I can just claim old age on this one. I'll just. I just realized I'm out of touch with some of the new stuff going on, but I thought, you know, it's like. Okay. God is just as modern as anybody. But the Bible still says, don't live by what you want, what you think, or what you feel, learn to do what I tell you to do, live deeper, don't be so shallow, and you will not have to chase blessings because they will chase you. Hey, man. Hey. Hallelujah. Thank you. Master were exalted. Exalted, exhausted. Years ago, I was trying to pray and I was really tired and I was trying to tell God that I was exhausted and he was exalted and I said, you're exhausted. I'm exalted. Oh boy. So on the ground of your word, we will lower the net again. Verse 6, and when they had done this, are you ready? And when they had done this and when they had done what God told them to do, and when they had done what God told them to do, even though they didn't want you, didn't feel like it didn't think it was going to work. When they had done what God told them to do, they caught a great number of fish and so many that their nets were at the point of breaking, so they signaled to their partners in the other boats to come and take hold with them and they came and filled all the boats so much that they began to sink. Now somebody can give God praise. Now here's what happens when we learn to live like this. We don't just have barely enough to get by. Just enough energy to get us through the day. I just don't know what's wrong with my life, God. I just don't understand. I'm so sick and tired of living this way I just don't get it it's just this is just more than I can take. Some guy tell me a few months ago. I mean, this is a guy who's got a really good life. And he said, yeah, you know, man, life is really hard. And you know, I just excuse me, but I wanted to slap him. I just thought your life ain't hard. You don't even know what a hard life is. You got a good job. You got good benefits. You got a great family that loves you. You got a car, you got a house. You're safe. You're not going to hell. Life is so hard. Yeah, there are hard things that we go through. There's no doubt about it. But we need to focus more on what God is doing for us. Let's look at what God is doing for us and think again about when it is time to leave this earth and you're on your deathbed. So many of the things that we worry about now, we're going to care two cents worth about them. That we won't even mention them. They won't even come up. It'll be all amazing. All the people that we have such a hard time with now that we'll just love to pieces then. Shallow shallow shallow, deep, deep, deep. So now the cat's out of the bag, we're having a deeper life conference. I just. I was just trying to hide it under something else. Now, let's look at hebrews chapter 9 verse 8. I'll take a little bit of a creative license with this, not making something out of it. It's not by adding to the word or taking away, but you know, their scriptures that you can get a lot of different views on if you look at them properly. Now this is talking about the Old Testament tabernacle, the outer court, the inner court and the most holy place and which really were made like that. Or a tri part being we've got this body and we got the soul. We've got the spirit. So there's actually three parts to us too. Thanks for listening. "Are you ready to go deeper in your relationship with God? The book of ephesians is foundational for every believer to understand their identity as a follower of Christ. Join joys today as she teaches from ephesians, chapter by chapter, helping reveal to us who we are in Christ, and just how much he loves us. Now here's Joyce with today's series on ephesians. Matthew 5 9. Blessed, enjoying enviable hap spiritually prosperous with life joy and satisfaction in God's favor and Salvation, regardless of their outward conditions. Come on, he's saying, look, you can be happy no matter what your outward conditions are. If you'll be a maker and a maintainer of peace. You work for peace. Peace is not going to fall on us like ripe fruit falling off a tree. If you want to get along with people, you're going to have to do it on purpose. I got one brother out here that tenant agreement with me. You're fun to preach to. I'll just give you a few hands. You don't always have to have the last word. If you're married, stop giving your husband driving directions. It's a fight waiting to happen. Matter of fact, the least bit of advice you can give your husband, the better off you are. Because he doesn't want it. And he's probably not.

"Through the day. Thank you, lord. I need you, Jesus. God help me with this. You're awesome lord, you're wonderful. For so many years, even as a woman who loved God, he was just this little spiritual part of my life, he lived in a little Sunday morning box. And the rest of the week, I tried to do life on my own. And I only called on him when I had a crisis. I only called on him when I thought I was over my head. What you say? I've learned that I'm always over my head. I mean, I am so far over my head. You have no idea how much trouble I would be and if God didn't help me. Hey, man. People talk about, you know, go deep. Well, you know what? I figured out when you're over your head, doesn't matter how deep you go because you're still dead. If God don't help you. And so I had gotten this little Sunday morning box and I didn't know any better. Nobody was teaching me any better. Back in the 70s when God really touched my life going out part of the Holy Spirit that was taking place at that time. And by the way, you don't have to wait for some special outpouring. You can have more of God anytime you want to. Anybody can be as close to God as they want to. It all depends on how much time you're willing to put into it. Yes, I said anybody can be as close to God as they want to. It all depends on how much time you're willing to put into it. Anybody can make an adjustment here today and say from now on, God, you're going to be first in my life. You're not going to be sucking. You're not going to be third, you're not going to be after my job after this after that. You're going to be first, and I don't care what else has to be cut out, you're going to be first. God is before my ministry in my life. He's before everything else. And the more I learned that the happier, I get. Relationship is God is not supposed to be a burden. It's supposed to be a lot of fun. Joyful. And I'll tell you something that has happened to me over the 40 years that I've been serving God. And if you're not here, I pray that something I say today will help you get there. I am just really comfortable with God. I mean, I'm just comfortable with the lord. I don't feel like I have to pretend. I don't feel like I have to put on airs. I don't feel like I have to try to impress him. God has taught me Joyce, I knew what I was getting when I got you. And there is nothing that you do that will shock me. Because I already knew every wrong thing you were going to do before you ever did it. I know every word in your mouth that you have not yet spoken, and I know every thought that you have not yet let rest through your mind. And I love you anyway. Thanks for listening. "Choices. Missing debit card to do a formal. Dna comparison and confirm what they're now like ninety nine percent. Sure of law enforcement collects some blood from roger chang while also comparing joyce's dental records with their jane doe now all this is pretty standard nothing out of the ordinary right but once the results from the autopsy comes back things. Start to get weird. According to an article in the leaf chronicle. Her cause of death is inconclusive with no marks on her skeleton to indicate a gunshot wound or stabbing or anything like that so since she was on the river. What about water in her lungs to tell them if she had drowned. Apparently they can't even tell that it's inconclusive. I know this common view that autopsies always hold the answers about how someone died. And i mean it's true that more often than not they do and more often than not law enforcement learns something from the autopsy. Even if it's not like a black and white you know this is how it was done and whatever there's still information like information information and yet here there's nothing i'm gonna be honest. I didn't even think this was possible. I thought dental records were assure thing i did too. But i mean there's a first time for everything i guess so it this play all police can do is wait for the dna test results to come back. Hopefully with that conclusive identification. Now that takes a couple of weeks but ultimately it is confirmed. Their jane doe is joyce chang but even now they still have almost nothing to go on by july of nineteen ninety nine six months after joyce i went missing. Investigators are grasping at straws. Like they look into some sketchy and honestly borderline racist theories about joyce's financial habits. They also look into the possibility that she was abducted by a sex trafficking. Ring and police also follow up on another theory. That's got a little more substance to it. So it turns out that one starbucks employees does come forward a little bit later and tell police back in january that you know what they did think they saw joyce in the shop..

"Night. Joyce is out with one of her friends from work and she told roger they're going to have dinner. They're going to go see a movie and as the night wears on enjoys doesn't come home. Roger doesn't think too much of it. He knows that she's been battling a cold since new year's so in his mind. It's totally possible that she decided to just like crash over at her friend's house instead of tracking all the way home and that cold crappy weather that night and honestly besides she's twenty eight years old. She doesn't need her baby. Brothers permission to switch up her plans if that's what she decided to do. Joyce isn't backed by the next morning. But it's not until monday that roger really starts to worry because that's when he learns that joyce was a no call no show to work that day according to an article in the capital newspaper joyce's a staff attorney at the ins and no one knows better than roger. How hard she's worked to get where she is. He knows there is no way. She jeopardize her career by ghosting on her workplace. Like this. she's not answering her calls. She's not answering her emails. And there's nothing around their apartment to suggest that she's even been there at all since saturday. Nothing's been moved. None of the food in the fridge has been eaten. Everything is.

"They're falling apart. People are taking horse space diver Mactan Jim overflowing ODS everywhere. Oh, Diz! ALS all over the place. Everyone. Oh, ding! Oh, my God. I took horse piece They Oklahoma hospitals. It's so much so the Rolling Stone story so much so horse Pacers in Oklahoma. That they're not even taking gunshot wounds anymore. Jim, You believe that you walk in You're like I've been shot. What happened? Nine millimeters and chest the bucket to make it hold on. We got a horse paste. Er, there's our Sir Horse Pacer. Come on over a gunshot guy bleeding. I'm collapsed Lung. We'll get to you in a couple hours. Go back home. Take an aspirin. Call me in the morning. Horse Pacers. Come on. So joy Reid is so stupid. She didn't even think to have someone call the hospital. About the horse Basters overdosing Joyce. Too dumb. So Joy, of course, brought the story on her shelf for the umpteenth 1000 time getting completely humiliated because she doesn't follow the Bongino rule. What's the Bongino rule? Anytime you see a stupid story about coronavirus or Donald Trump? It's probably a lie. Wait 72 hours and it will be the bunk. If Joy would apply this rule. If joy would have went right to the police. None of this would have ever happened. She doesn't seem to get that joy. If she would just wait the 72 hours. This kind of stuff wouldn't happen, Jim Play cut. Six. Here's Joy Reid hilariously dolling out the misinformation as she repeats the horse space talks. Check this out, so things are clearly bad. But they're being made even worse by people who have refused to take the vaccine and instead are swallowing horse paste. Emergency room in one rural Oklahoma town is being overwhelmed by people overdosing on ivermectin, the horse deworming medication. It's gotten so bad that gunshot victims gunshot victims are having to wait to be treated. Yeah.

"Because i news time to get married. Believe in prayer he believed in prayer with twenty six years old had spent three years in a service. Come back down to get married. And so i prayed and i said god i want to get married. I show me who mary and i said. Gimme somebody that needs help. I didn't know the time when i made that statement or her on. She came back. I said mine at the time that she had all these problems. I thought any normal guy would iran for this real quick but actually just drew me and so the next day next day. She needed a ride home because her car shop and so the guy that he needed again he said. Can you pick up. And i said yeah i said would use it the vaccine. She sat in the front seat. And i said so. You won't wash my car and she smile and soon as she did that just broke. The ice got her home had her phone number and caller caller day later and it was history after that we had five dates. I was at her house quite a bit of time but My house yes. I would i come out squad. My dad was a nut. he didn't anybody come up with their. He didn't measure. May we worked nights so you might have come over. At night i saw. Wow very often the this because it's real life it's talking. I think people sometimes get this idea of marriage that there shouldn't be any bombs there shouldn't be like especially a godly marriage. You know we're just gonna know. Through what god's word says how to do this and it's all going to be perfect and and it doesn't work that way. I've got a whole list of scriptures here about marriage and honestly so much of it is what you're talking it's the holy spirit guy is directly. Because it's it's a walk. it's not a. Oh here's the answer. Right here in a fijian's i mean yes there. It talks about marriage all through it. But it's so much of god's spirit helping us and just going through it and you know the bottom line is jesus said if you love me you will obey me. He did not say. If you obey me. I will love you. He's already committed to loving us but he said if you love me you will obey me and i do think that people that have committed their life to christ they. You need to be willing to do things for the lord that you might not be willing to do for a person and if you if you will do things because you love god do them right because you love god. He will make things workout in your life when i was younger. You know when we got married know. When i was younger i had a strong relationship larvae. Then when we got married you know. I had prayed for somebody that needs help. And so when she began open up all the things that she had gone through which i knew nothing about when she started opening up on that then it did not shock me because i had prayed previously that i wanted to help you know when somebody who needed help. And so that didn't really shocked me and probably something like that. If you weren't prepared ahead of time you know it might. Yeah you're really got you. In a situation i wou would i marry here. You know. but as far as her her dumping her life on the that didn't affect me at all. I in the advice for women in a marriage going into a marriage dating whatever it may be who have been through abusive situations. What some advice to help them to begin or or make it through a relationship when you've got real hurt while one of the things that we tend to do is when you've been hurt abused mistreated. You feel like you're owed something and you are but you end up trying to collect from the wrong person and so don't my advice is don't don't marry somebody and then blame them for what somebody else did to you and try to get them to pay you back. Yeah the only god can pay you back. That's what that's what he taught me. only god. he's vindicator will repay says and so if we will do things god's way he will repay you. I mean my gosh. We've got such a wonderful live. Non god's allowed us to be in this ministry and we're getting help so many people and who would have ever thought in our wildest imagination the first three years of our marriage that we would be doing something like this it would have been just like so far from impossible. That wouldn't have been amazing but honestly if if people will do things god's way because of their love for god no matter how hard it is. God will pay you back. He will reward you. The bible citizen isaiah sixty one that god will give you double blessing for your farmer trouble and did even says he'll give you honor for the shame that you had and so gaden got his faithful to his word and i just want to say again. I'm repeating myself but be willing to do things. God's way no matter how hard it might be and you'll be amazed at what god will do in your life. Thank you both so much. You guys to really thank you for sharing it. I just think it's so important and so helpful for people who are with us here and we also have a free bible. Study that you can do online. That is called keys to a stronger marriage. And i think you're gonna love it. You can go to joyce meyer dot org and find out more about that. it's free. it's there to help you. It will tell you more. Quitting Is Not an Option

"I'm teaching out of a book that we won't be releasing until next spring. So you're getting the book before the book. You're getting the message before it's ever released and it's called. It's never too late to begin again. I love that then. God there's always a place for new beginnings and you know as i said last night the bible doesn't put any limit on how many new beginnings we can have it doesn't just say you can have two new beginnings and then too bad for you. It doesn't even say that you can only have fifty new beginnings. I think the fact that god's mercy is new every day shows us that god is ready to give us a fresh start anytime we're ready to have one. How many of you in this place tonight need a fresh start. You need a new place to begin in some area maybe in your finances and your health and your marriage maybe like your whole wife. You need a whole fresh. Start with your new live. There's a lot of people got their hand up for that too. And i just want you to know that. Quitting is not an option. That's the title of this. Most is not quitting is not an option. You may feel like giving up but we're not gonna let you. We're going to tell you tonight. You gotta get up instead of giving up. You're going to get up and press into the new beginning. That god has for you and live the life that god wants you to live.

"So. My husband and i met online. So after i'd been divorced for about five years kind of really getting my life together understanding this pattern of failed relationships and when my ex husband left me i realized you know what i'm the. I'm the common denominator in this pattern of failed relationships so i spent a good five years really Dealing with what. I call my broken bits. The parts to me that perpetuated this pattern of failed relationships so in that five year period. I developed a counseling model which used today But really spent that time working on me. And i think that was crucial in putting me in a position of meeting. Someone as amazing as my husband is Because i was. I really worked at parts of me. That made it so. I wasn't choosing the right kind of people so yeah so we met online and yet right away. I could tell that he was going to be drug for me though he was so. I'm now you've done that work working. You're like certain you're not gonna bring over those bad behavior patterns or your old self into your new relationship for you. still worry about. It had gotten to the point. That i it simply Was not an option to have that cycle perpetuate so i had a pattern rates sri failed relationships all with alcoholic. Man all with them leaving me for other women. So so i got to the point where no i was no longer worried with about it because i i really did recognize that i dealt i dealt with the issue. That was fueling that Pattern in the first

I don't like listening to their commentary because then you'll get swayed by the joe is talking is he's gonna lose a little steam and thinking this little bit little bit he starting to slow down just a tad because some of those shots from joe joyce particularly with that right hand of that heavy jab. They got his attention. Another right hand almost landed there. Dami clip them with bro. Think joyce stands the disguised as we say that would talk him do he turns turns up. And he's back enjoy sub. Those body shots look look. He's taking them steps back man. He's gone back. I think you hit the nail on the head. That bodywork is definitely telling the story here. I can't i that. Ron was closer but he's wrong. Maybe but i'm going to still have to attack him. He finished strom. And the momentum's were tack them. You gotta assume the judges gave that to him too. I'm just saying i could be wrong. But based on the judge gave him that round based off what. I'm being told that they're loving what they're senior from. Joyce i don't know what they're loving. "Can it comes back to get the income for those. That were well but he came for those that were sick. Amen and so i- qualify for help from god and you do too but in the natural just the way we are our flesh is always going to look for a painless path. So that's why. I want to just be clear with you. That if you really wanna get well there's going to be some challenges to it and is not going to happen super-quick it happens little by little. God changes you from glory to glory. But the good news is if you're on your way to full recovery. At least you're on your way somewhere. Did you hear me. And that's better than just being stuff nowhere. There's two kinds of pain. We can talk about today. The pain of change are the pain of never changing. And you know what the thought of staying. The same is really scary to me. I mean it just makes me shiver to think that. I could still be the way that i used to be forty two years ago. There's been a lot of pain getting from there to here all but there's been more joy than pain and i certainly am glad that god gave me the grace to not give up and you have to keep in mind that every little bit of progress you get you can then share that progress with somebody else. People need to see people overcome. They need the courage to realize well. If you can do it. Then maybe i can do it. and so. Here's a quote by an unknown author. That i think is good. What comes easy won't last and what lasts won't come easy a man. There's a saying my husband's always had fast and fragile. Slow and solid comes together. Fast can also come apart fast. A what is built slowly can become solid. I don't know if you've noticed it or not. The gods not in a hurry as anybody realized that. God's not hurry you know why because he's more interested in quality than quantity men. Don't get stuck in the trap of just trying to see how much of your bible you can read every day so you can feel proud of yourself. God would rather that you stare at two verses for an hour and get something out of it then to read seven chapters and not know what you read when you got done of all the people we need to stop trying to impress god. Did you hear me because he knows so. Quality over quantity. Don't be in such a hurry. How can somebody advertise a pill on television. That says if you take three of these day the fat will melt right off you. You won't have to exercise. You won't have to change your eating and sell millions and millions of bottles of it. I mean are we really that dumb. Yeah apparently so. I mean you know people will pay somebody that says there are psychic five or ten bucks a minute to talk to them and then they come to something like this and don't want to give a ten dollar offering now it's like come on. I got somebody that wants to talk to you. Somebody's been talking to you now for two days and we need to wise up. Stop looking for everything to be easy. We need to toughen up a little bit and be willing to go through whatever we need to go through to have what we say that we want to. Have you know. A lot of people are jealous of successful. People are jealous of people that i don't know stay in shape. And you know still look good in their forties or fifties or whatever and are. You're jealous of somebody's home or jealous of somebody's job. Or maybe you. You're old enough to retire and you don't have hardly anything and you're jealous of people that you know that have got this nice income level now at retirement. We need to stop being jealous of people that are blessed if we don't want to do what they did to get what they've got. I mean anybody that you know in their fifties and still looks good feels good. They didn't just get that way sitting on the couch eating donuts day after day. You know you reap what you so. Thanks for listening experience. Healing in your own soul when you order.
