"I mean, he reached base five times last night. So you know, I mean, I know you as you'd like to have you as back and I know Slater the big not the big bummers. He can't play outfield defense, but and I guess injuries have always been sort of the thing with him, right? So I mean, we're looking ahead to next year, and I know I want to focus on this week. But looking ahead to next year like you, you don't get it. Austin Slater with a healthy elbow is is a starting outfield or maybe right. No question. No question. But even having said that, I think you still have the handling with kid gloves. Just the same way you'd handle dick. You know you can't run him out there every day. You know, there are things you have to pay attention to. They'll try and pay place through a soreness in a in a leg, But you know, that's the time we have to sit him down. But I mean, just think about what would it be like to have Yes. Trim skin Slater leading it off First two guys. I mean, those those are good hitters with speed. That's one thing that doesn't have an abundance of speed and slater last night. I mean, we're just kind of taking are still has that growing thing I stole a base. Cool. It easy was a big play, and, you know, so I just think that this guy is a real talent. I'd actually I think he's a true five tool guy. And I just think that, um, when his name is in the lineup, it makes us a whole lot better. I look forward to it. I don't want to see him Platoon. I want to see him. He gets right, Anders, too. Right, And you're right. About eight stolen bags is Don't sleep on that number. That's a nice number in a short season. You extrapolate that that's over 20 bags, Man. That's nice. That's really nice are talking. Of course to my cook on the human guest line Giant's going tonight, 6 45. They are still right in the thick of this whole fight with the Brewers and the Reds. For the eight seat Phillies took a stumble last night, Mike Real quick. Do you know who before we get into sort of the hero's from last night? Do you know Start tonight? Now I was tedious way. Try to find it out. Normally, they let us know we're just about to go into the rap. And last night they didn't so I mean, they're kind of piecing it together. Right now. The alternate side closed down. So Sacramento is done they bring. They brought a lot of guys here that are going to be all part of the quarantine, which starts now, But So they have options. I'm not sure as to how they're going to put it together. I mean, not only thinking about how they put it together in rotation, but how they're going to put it together in the outfield with the specific going down last night with a Ham's hamstring strain. So you know, we don't know so but you're not the first time this year we said that and so they may give it to us late. Well, okay, we'll find out so now we're back to the game. And so it's a Slater gets the NOx Smiley's pitching great and then the guy who drives in the second run is the guy we get definitely have to spend some time on and you talked about him in the rap last night and He's a guy. We're all rooting for first. We like a money and b we have on the radio. We like him. He's a good guest. Second of all, he he symbolizes hope. You know, in this next decade, we're looking Giants Joey, Bart and Yeah, there's going to be a scuffle and me as a fan. I was like, Okay, I understand. You know you're going to go through some tough patches as a rookie. Seems like a lot of people, though, if you if you read social media allow, we shouldn't be up. He's overmatched and you know. Yeah. Okay. I was being very patient, Mike. I don't know about you. Was it looking really bad where you think it was a mistake? Because look what happened. They put him out there last night. He had a couple of huge bats your thoughts. Well, he's young, and I mean, I think everybody now and we were all clamoring to have him up here. And you understand why They sat on them for a while, You know, I mean, this is a guy you know, and and and the best way to talk about. It is the elevation of speed as you go through professional baseball from rookie league, a ball double a triple A every Every level is faster. Everything happens A little quicker, every everything there's more. There's more intangibles to be able That air there. They affect the game that you have to be able to control its like a pitcher in same thing, you know, you have to learn how to not only control the rhythm of trying to get that guy you're facing but yet learned how to control the rhythm of the guys on the base paths, and it's not easy. A lot going on out there and it takes you a while and and every level you go up, you have to make adjustments to the speed that you're playing against. So for a guy to come out of a ball and then go right to the big leagues. You can do it easily, much easier, I should say with an outfielder. Lauren and fewer, but you can't hide the catcher. Catcher has to be able to communicate with the bench. ESPN. You communicate with the picture. He has to be able to control the rhythm of the picture. He has to be able to control the relationship with the umpire. And that's not even counting what he has to do once he puts on the bat and gloves and get the Paris box. There's a lot going on. And I thought that when joy Bart got up here, you know, he just got rolled over. I mean, it just overwhelmed him and Then you could see how his defense affected his performance at the plate and vice versa. It kind of went back and forth, and there were times when you say Well, he's just he's not a good catcher. He's not ready to be able to catch at this level mean You know whose box and balls he wasn't able to get a sign down. He wasn't able to control the rhythm of picture. It was just really hard. And then it affected his bad. I mean, he went through a tube for 25 patch, and it wasn't just to 25 those two balls that were in this where we're like jam shots and mean he can hit a ball hard for 25. Now that wears on you. You get to the point. We thinking, man, I don't even know if I can play you. Then you start to chase..

"Postgame wrap Part two. We're going to pick some players. I think it's Jon Stern is that you went first last night. Kate. John, you get to pick first in all right? Well, then I'm going with your guy. I'm going with Austin Slater. We're just talking about him. During the commercial break, but he hits Ah homerun to lead off the game, the first time in his career. And it was almost like you thought Wow, is maybe he's found ways. We I think we saw some things in the last couple of days. We thought, well, maybe Slater's about to find it again. And then he hit the home run you through, Okay? And then he just had one fabulous. Plate appearance after another in this one with later got an infield hit with speedy got steel. He got three while he's among the league leaders and steals. And he's missed what 28 games in their entirety this year. So anyway, Austen Slater and and it's just in time. Maybe he's found it again because nobody was hotter and look better at the plate than he did earlier this year before. The injuries hit so anyway, maybe he's back in the great night for him. Good pick. I like that. He is really when he's in that leadoff spot. He's a good lead off hitter meet. He's a threat, but he just sees so many pitches. Good pig. I like watching. Is it bad? Really good. I know another guy who? I like watching his at bats, and I'm gonna pick Is Alex the Rockies air sick of watching him? He is just tortured him this year. But that was after the Rockies to tie the game and everybody was feeling a little down. So what does he do? He comes up is a pinch it or wrap just a bolt. And puts the Giants back ahead. A new dad enjoying fatherhood and swinging the bag. Great. He's my guy carrying this club. So many ways. Nice. Nice people get a bit. Okay, Well, then I'm gonna take joy. Bart Joy Bart had like a two for 23 the last eight days on our last eight games, and he was just Hey, was getting steamrolled by the big leagues and it could happen to you. You see, a guy loses confidence and it just It's tough to resurface. It really is. You need a line drive tonight. You know he had good at bats. He worked the count. He was selective. If you look back in the last eight days, and he was swinging so many pitches out of the strike zone, and you start to chase because you start to press And it affects every part of your game. And you know, tonight he had two doubles. Really good at bats. Hey, made the play. John was talking about where Flores, you know, had to carry on. Even when we thought the ending was over. They had to make the tag play. There was not a force play had it sealed off and he did sealed off home plate. Put the tag on. Hey, He looks like a big league catcher tonight, and it just, You know one crack.

"John Miller back with you here at Oracle Park in San Francisco. With beneath smoky skies. After the Giants were swept in a double headed by the Padres six to nothing in the first game. Clev injured with a shut out a two hitter. Seven strikeouts. One walk in that one just destroyed the Giants backs in that one. Cueto took the loss. Then here in game to the Padres with a 3 to 1 victory time down for the Honda Highlights from game to nor Cal Honda's summer clearance is on shop now and save in person or online. Jets actually scored first. Logan Webb on the mound for the Giants against Garrett Richards and Richards was helped out considerably with a couple of excellent defensive place, particularly Jastremski leading off the game. Hitting a fly ball into the left field corner that was caught by Jurickson pro far after a long, long run and then going into a slide on the warning track. And he turned that extra base hit into and out and later on In the evening, the Giants got a couple of walks. So who knows what might have happened? But the Padres did a lot of things that very good teams do. But in the second inning with one out, Brandon Crawford got a base hit Joy Bart got hit by a pitch. Although do bond, then struck out with two on and two out. It was us Krimsky. To come through to men on two men out on the pitch swing and a smash fair past Moreland, who was diving at the first base side and down into the right field corner. Crawford around third. He'll come into score going to third and being held up is Joey Bart. It is a double for Mike Yastrzemski and the Giants have their first run of the day. You're in Game two of the doubleheader, one to nothing Giants. Little did we know And In fact, it's still kind of boggles the mind because of how well this team has hit this year and especially the last few weeks. That they would get only one more hit the rest of game too. As Garrett Richards would never allow another base runner while he was in there. In fact, 11 straight giants went down before Donovan Solano gotta pinch hit single in the sixth inning against Groupama Rats. That's just The gives you an idea of just the extent to which the Padres pictures just destroyed the Giants Bance in this double header. The one Nothing lead for the Giants was short lives and the last of these second inning it was Web with one out. Nobody on facing Wil Myers. Here's the pitch now swinging. There's a drive into deep centre field going way back. Do Bon at the wall. He leaves. It's gone all the way back to the wall made the leap but could not quite get it. 12 home run of the year for Will Myers in this game is tied. Will. Myers had a couple of Barbie eyes in Game one as well, that opened it up, So he's just having a great year, His best year he's not got 12 home runs in 34 runs batted in for the pods, so the game was tied. At one apiece. Now, after Myers base hit Jake Cronin worth hit a single The Padres do like to run day was talking about this during the rap in the first inning. In fact, tha T's was at first base, and he tried to steal and got thrown out by Joey Barton. Totti's had been nine for nine and his stolen base attempts prior to that first time all year that he was caught stealing. Not Cronin worth. He was three for three in his steal attempts when he took off in the second pitch outside, the runner goes to throw down to second Great throw by Bart the tag out by Longoria out at second. And the Padres may want to check With the replay room on that one. What a throw that Wass by Joey Barton..

Keys hit Two bloops and a blast today, too little flip singles, including that one with two strikes, just kind of looped over the shortstop position into shallow left field. So Bart scores another to strike two out hit for the Giants, and especially for your strength speed. Us. Longoria comes up. Bongo has been swinging the bat so well. He gets a chance to do the same. This trumps feed out three for three. Gonzales throws to first diving back in Jastremski Giants have a little bit of the magic wand do working today. They have 10 hits, so they've hit some balls hard, but a lot of their hits today, unlike last night where there was just ringing Line drives all over course field. Today may be a little bit more good fortune is part of the 10 hits. Joy. Bart's been a guy who's just smashed the ball twice. First pitch to Lago is a slider for a called strike. One striptease looked like he was thinking about going from first he sort of started and stopped. 5 to 1 giants Condori awaiting 1st and 3rd 2 outs. Another throw to first You stretched me again has to dive to get back in safely. Yes. Rate. We're talking about Trevor Story's baserunning extreme ski rates as the third best base runner. If you go by those fangraphs leaderboards of everybody in Big League baseball that's not based stealing. It's just all around base running to pitch a little loop out towards second. It takes a couple of funny hops. Hampson charges picks it up in a quick throw. The first is just in time. Get Longoria Jansen got a hit on that one. Then we would know it would be their day. "Sent a lot of home games left. Still, even after a long homestand, they played more road games than home. Years of swing by BART and a smash, and it goes right through Hampson at second base and on into centerfield Joey Barton made a big turnaround. First, he's get speed for a catcher, and he always hustles. But the center fielder for the Rockies came charging in and scooped it up off course I don't know how they'll score that he hit it so hard that Hampson is kind of beat Hampson up. A big bounce and he tried to swipe at it moving back into his right 104 MPH off the back seat to me. I would use that if I were an official scorer and say that's a hit. There's a breaking ball, the dirty kicks away, and that's gonna move Bart to second. So Daniel Robertson takes ball one. Joey Barton on the wild pitches into scoring position. The Giants ahead 4 to 1 today. Charged an error. Yes, yes, e four. I think that's a bad call. Took some kind of a little hop also because he went over and got in front of it. It came up. It was probably 2 ft. Above ground level. It wasn't like it just took a little hop right into his glove. He had to shoot the glove up Robertson at the plate. He takes down away. Good. Take Against Cici Gonzalez to Oh, no. Robertson hit a ground ball basin and the left field his first time up to knock in a run. Art of the four run first inning for the Giants. You know? Robertson swings and misses fastball at 93. Through the first two innings of this game. Giants have had 11 innings of offense plus a couple matters here and they've had 35 hits in 11 innings. These two games. They should have 36 because joy Bart, I think should have been ahead. Here's a swing and a ball muscled.

"But I saw that governs. Absolutely, Uh, you know, look. You get whatever these new hitting guys were doing. You've got to give him credit. You've got to say something's working, you know, so because I hadn't just tonight. Yeah. I mean, you know, tonight's the culmination, and tonight's a freak night, but it hasn't on Lee, but it's not just because of this one game. Into bed. We don't know what they look like way want to give him a lot of credit. If they walked into the room right now, we wouldn't know they can You get me a coke? Oh, way We kept going into that coach's locker room. With 13 14 coaches, almost all of them knew. And I mean we met. Maybe a handful of them happen to be in there. And my crew co. Comes down to spring training. He wants to meet him, so I take him in there, and we walked right in. And there's Barry Bonds had a nice conversation with very thank you. The only guy we saw on the coach's room that day. They were really busy getting clearly they were working and the work is paying off. All right, John, you get to go first tonight. All right, Dave. Well, I'm going to AA. I'm gonna go with Donovan Solano, who is one of the guys with six R B. I s because in the very first inning, the Jazz had the home run by Dickerson, then Longoria belt each got base hits. So they had 1st and 3rd 1 out. And they think anybody home announced to down and they were only going to get. The one run of Solano didn't come through, and he crushed one over the head of Kevin Pillar. Which you know, you see a ball in the direction of Pilar. You think it's going to be caught? But he had gone to the deepest part of the artist for 24 to that spot where the center field wall and right field wall meat. And that's where he hid it. And so now it's a three running so So now you feel okay? Three runs. That's a pretty good inning. Not at Coors Field, Not just the one run, so and that was maybe a small thing that could be overlooked. But I thought those runs were important for the Giants before Guardsman took them out against this Colorado team. So Anyway. Then he knocked into three more. Four more later on. So I was losing count after awhile. Who had? How many r B I s there were so many But anyway, so long with my guy, his average up to 3 45 now for the year. That was a big big hit the first one Good pick. I like it. Okay, my turn. I'm taking a picture tonight, just cause I think Kevin Gausman should should be acknowledged for throwing the ball well in his hometown, Cory dream for years about getting to pitch, of course Field. He's gotta win it cores. And he only gave up two hits in five innings, So I'm going with Kevin Garnett said. He wanted to stay in these in these here. Exactly, he said last week. Don't want to go anywhere. I love being a giant. They've made it fun. It's great coming to the ballpark. Every day. He looked like he was going to live up to those words. He does something night. That's not easy to Dio. When you have your team on the feet are in the dugout, hitting for a long time. That picture sitting there. And that happened to a basically for five bucks every time so it was very hard to go back and find your rhythm mean he struggled with it. The third inning. We like kind of lets his change up there for well. But you know, he managed to gut it out, and I think his experience and the fact that he's been around for as long as he has enabled him to do so. But that was not an easy thing to do. I'm glad you took him if you did that, Wass I wanted to take a picture on a night where the Giants scored. 23 runs match their San Francisco record. So Kevin Gausman, He's my gun. A good pick out a baby. Okay, well, then I'm going to take his catcher. I mean, tonight, Uh, Joy Bart had his first three hit game. And Hey, had drilled and ah, he got the drop pop up out of the way, and nobody was there to see it. Perfect timing perfectly. Remember it. It's It's the footnote of all footnotes. Get it out of your system. Yeah. Good pick. You can sort of see that one coming. His at bats have been better. He had good at bats in Arizona have nothing to show for it, basically, and so he's going to get some more hits. Good pick. Mike had a baby. You got to take woman Flora's. Somebody had otherwise we'd still be playing. No, I'll take it..

"The only one I got for you. Is that a player? Their most recent product is actually named Jason Castro on enough funny that the kid out of Castro Valley was named Castro right. He went to Stanford. Them got drafted by the Astros, and I always thought, Oh, that's easy to remember. He also Castro from Castro Valley. He also had a grand slam off us once when they were We were up seven. Nothing in the seventh inning and at one of the biggest meltdowns ever. They came back and scored nine runs with two outs and Castro captain with a grand Slam into center field over over what we called senior park. He was a monster. Dude, that's pretty cool. The way you guys see that the Padres did that yesterday. No joke. They were down 7 to 3. They played one of the few Gezi for the birds. Seven inning. Double headers to Yeah. And they were down seven. Listen to this. 7 to 3 Bottom seven. Hate to even say that bottom seven. I know right away 7 to 3 bottom 72 outs. Nobody on And they scored seven straight runs in and that's why you should be allowed to swing 30, Bro. Yeah, well, that's 7232 outs. That's different. Four runs is different than it was. Seven wasn't seven things might have been seven when he hit the slam might have been like a seven run lead. Bottom 82 out 10 to 3 was attended three bases juiced. Yeah, Again. Just the point is just that you could come back at any point. That's what I'm saying. Well, as you said, this was, I think you know as shyness has continued his breakout run through the Murphy Max show. He was the guy who bridged the gap. It both answers. He said to me. I agree with you. I like the Lawry like the tradition. I like learning from my elders and I like understanding that there are things in this game. That's the right thing to do, He said. However, the game has changed in terms of the ball flying in the launch angle, he said. I'm not so sure. Seven runs is safe anymore and s O. That was he did a nice job of it. Ameliorating arrested. What's the word pacifying Both parties. There s Oh, there you go, Polly, hopefully, water boys not to overwhelm their by the calls from that very chill song that you played there. It's kill. It's it's It's good. It's a little. I don't want to give away the title of the piece yet, but I will will reveal everything in due time, but we're giving away five passes right now and then we'll do. Another five passes Murph later on in the show. So listen. So the Giants lose two in the You know, the good feelings come to an end yesterday and seven inning sucks Bottom line, But Andi, it just wasn't happening offensively yesterday. They didn't score any runs right now. You're game. By the way. Last time they got shut out. I have the stat for you Here, guys, make sure you get this right? The stat for you On the last time they were shut out Herd in both ends of a doubleheader. Ready for this? Yeah, 19. 1930 come on now started. I saved it. I can't find it. Shoot. It was like 1936 in 1939 1 of right now we're just totally totally long blank in time for their alright, So rigatoni Russo or whatever you know, it's been basically 80 years. Shut out in both ends of a double header. Of course in those ones they played nine. So I don't know if you want to count that my hearing. Yeah, Totally. That's a real guy. But for Joey Fart boy, Kershaw just I think it was either Kruger Keiper Miller. Somebody said he just toyed with him. He just toyed with the Bali Our cat in the yard. He just And he's now having trouble with that. A couple of things there. Everybody's pitching in on his hands. That's the word right. He's gonna have to deal with that. That's why he gets hit so much right that the word is. You can't let joy Bart get his arms extended right? And in that back foot slider, you know, coming from the left side that just comes in, and he was just waving at it over 10 with seven strikeouts in the Siri's, So here's Kappler official answer on Joey Barton. Okay, A lot of it has to do with me is gonna make a quick adjustments to Joey and And Joey is always going to need to adjust back. But I think the direct answer questions. He's he's going out the bumps and bruises. He's going to go through a stretch of 15 20 bats that Don't look great. He's gonna struggle behind the plate. He's He's an inexperienced young player that is, goingto take lumps along the way. He's also gonna have Ah lot of successes and he's gonna be really good for a long time. Okay, so that there's a fair analysis very well. There's just very fair. People do tend to overreact. He has become a bad games and people send him down. We were wrong. He doesn't should be. No, no. So here is the question is, Are you going to keep playing him and he's here? We've got to develop. In the interim, though there are going to be some ups and downs were gonna be patient with them. We're going to talk. Talk to him about How he can get better and looked about developed him at every turn. Well so that he can help us win as quickly as possible. And so we get the most out of Joey enjoy gets the most out of himself. Long term. Yeah, so I hope he's playing tonight, right? I'm looking forward to any two. Yeah, yeah, in the same spirit checked in. He's been checking in on a lot of stuff with Samson's A lot of good Howards Sammy dogs. He's doing good. He hears a lot of thoughts. You know, I feel like it's some point. Wherefore do, aren't we? It's It's almost like your right like it's been to. In fact, now that I think about it, have we had him during the panda. Honestly, I don't even know If we've had spent too long. That's my point's been too long. Hey, says Bart will be better for the experience and next year, failures and successes will be part of the maturation period with no minor leagues. He needed to be brought up because there was nothing more to learn in playing interest. Got games in Sacramento to one forces simply though, Yeah, but he has a hole in his swing. Well right now he does, And he's going to have to adjust. Here is capture on Bart's struggling with the inside pitch. Speaking of the whole okay, Yeah, I think they I think Kershaw and in particularly dots is his bread and butter. He's gonna use his slider on Brunnen in on your head. Ends, and then he's gonna He's gonna throw his his curveball is throwing it for strikes and easy and throw it out of the zone. One thing we know about Kershaw's curveballs is usually damages and done on that pitch. It's a pitch that A lot of hitters tried to take it if you're if you're swinging and about pitch and the slider in in the slider in office, it's gonna be a long day for you. I think that that Joey is going to hunt hunt out over. You gonna look for a kid to drive it out over so he can get extended and drive through the baseball. And he's just gonna He's gonna learn opponents repertoires and and how to adjust accordingly. And look, the one thing I'll say is I feel very confidently that are getting coaches. You are gonna work really hard with Joanna. Joey's gonna work justice hard to get him prepared and ready to adjust back. Is it good answers of capital Very actually a lottery. And this is exactly where, Okay, You know, we had all kind of rift on the 13 coaches and see Marja that great line at mine early camp and he said Yes, you know, As soon as we can tell the coaches from the minor league free agents will be fine. You know, it's so funny. But this is where this is where exactly this coaching staff should shine because the kids got all the town in the world. He just has this problem with the inside pitch. Right? So this is where they bring out the binders, Dudes. Your tunnel, You know, don't get your pockets. Bring out your approach actors, you know? Yeah. Yeah, sure. I know for sure We're going to put utilize all that stuff. But also Murph, like thinking back like part has already had to. I think two different injuries on his hand Like he broke his hand. It's a said everything. And he also wasn't a broken finger or D break the hand. I said twice the hand. Yeah, so they still come in on him? Polly everytime like that last night, they came in on him. Two is a little too close. That's got to be in the back of his head to. It's like you don't mind taking inside pitches, but at the same time if you've got a history of broken hands like that's got to be something he's thinking about two in the box like I don't want to take another one off the hand. Man, I agree with you, but I'll say this. There's a lot of panic on the text line at nine. Once about Bart. What scares me is the hole is huge, and he's swinging at balls their way inside. He looks amateurish at times..

"Off shot at home for Buster. That was a three hit three R B I Day for Buster Posey. We also want to shout alight on Tim Hudson, who, actually through eight innings are only allowed one run with eight strikeouts in that game. Yeah, Tim Hudson on the 2014 giants about that, And this was August 27 2014. And this has been Brian Murphy with this date in Giants history. Speaking of AH, history, I don't believe that the Giants and the Dodgers have played a seven inning double header. But those are the rules this year, of course, with the shortened season trying to keep guys short, by the way, if the playoffs started today, and they don't But if they did, the Dodgers and Giants would match up in a 18. Now I gave you all the details on Game one, which is coming up at one of five Clayton Kershaw vs Kevin Gausman as Faras. Game two is concerned Image White called up today for the Dodgers. He'll go in game to Logan Webb, who's two and two with the 3 29. He'll go in Game two, and he's coming off his best start of his career. Hey, Taw seven innings to run ball against the Diamondbacks on Friday, his longest outing in a major show again, Kevin Gausman last time against the Dodgers six and a third on Ly, one run Logan Web. Last time out. He pitched seven so of Logan Web can do that again. He would be today's X factor the game and that a sponsored by Xfinity X one the Hub for all things sports with the Xfinity. So that's what's going on. As far as The Giants are concerned as Faras. The lineup for the Giants is concerned a couple of things to Noah's. You're watching today's game. Joy Bart is not going to be behind the plate. He's going to D. H S. Stransky Flores Longoria, those Your top three Darren Rough. In left field. He's hitting four. Solano's it short today being fifth again this against Kershaw, Brandon Belt hitting sixth. He's been red hot. Joey Barton. As I said, It's going to be D. H not catching, probably in Game two and enjoy record just called up. I said he will bat eighth. Trump. He's going that night, and he's going to catch for Bart in the first game. Right There you go. "Hit it like a frickin laser beam. Joey Barton will discuss Joey got the Diamondbacks coming up. I knew that you were what you were thinking. When you said laser beam. You're thinking you're thinking a laser beams so It's getting everything and Dracula is a great piece up right now. Joy Bart made an understated impact in his major league debut for the Giants can read at the athletic and he joins us courtesy of the guests line. How are you? I'm doing good. I'm avoiding those hill. Temper is very nice. You don't know the people cut reference, Tio. Dr Evil there. That's outstanding. I like it. You were good s o. I read your piece. Give it give us your thought. You called it an understated impact in his debut. Yeah, I think that that's how I mean kind of fascinating to watch someone make their debut and that these are not normal times that you probably your heart may be even more accelerated with fans in the stands and Your family there and everything. And you know we're all making the best of these. Circumstances and pretty much every way, right? But But I just can't imagine that Joey would've looked nervous under any conditions out there. This is a guy who eyes just very comfortable in between the lines and he's really gives off this vibe of I'm here to take charge. I'm here to make sure everything goes smoothly. I'm here to make sure that you know we're playing with the right tempo and pace and focused and it's a lot of things that Buster did that You're harder to quantify. And you really got that sense. At least I did watching Julie Bart stated yesterday that you know there was double that was 109 Miles an hour off that we didn't get a chance to see him. Prote N E. Faces or trying to pick off any base stealers or anything, but just in the way that he kind of ran the game quietly. You felt like it was somebody who had things under control. And for him to do that news debut, I think is is bringing presents. All right, let's let's roll up the sleeves and really break it down. We're knocking over reacted just one game, but ah, the one point I keep making is you know John Barr drafted, Joey barked. It was not Farhaan Farhaan was not hired yet. And then we hear so much and watch the game in the way they're asking their catchers to get on one knee and get down not just with the bases empty, but with runners on base and Frame. That low pitch will take the catcher's interference is because we want that low pitch framed and you've detailed how successful they've been at that. Joey did not do that. He's big. He's six to He did it with nobody on base. But it's not the same. Hey, stands taller. Even when he's you know, up and down to one knee and then with a runner on base, he would do it Some But he doesn't do it. The way Trump certainly does it or the way they talked about wanting it and a lot of times the runner on base. He didn't do it at all. He would just bend his knees. So as we look at him long term, they did not draft him. John Barr did. You think ultimately He's a catcher who place um first or he's the first baseman who catches some or he's the first baseman slash d h bags. You know, I think his value is going to come in his back, obviously, but it's also going to come in his defense. I mean, this is a guy who they really were not curious how the skills will translate. When I asked him that question. What do you most excited to see in practice, the back or the defense? His answer was that because they know what kind of impact the power back down, but they don't know how it's gonna play against Major league pitching. They do know that the defensive skills are going to translate their very confident and I don't think you moved. I oughta position that valuable so quickly. When you know he can bring you that value Now. You no longer term would eventually move off that position. I mean, a lot of guys do you know Joe Mauer did We'll see if if Buster does, but I don't think that there's any real thought of okay. You know his values and his bat. So what's what's moving off the plate? So this is a guy who's to your point. He's a big target. He's different than Buster. There were questions when Buster was drafted if he was physical enough to really stick it that position. Shows a big charities. He's 6 to 2 40 on one of the reasons that they think he's going to be a great Kramer is, you know it's exaggerated movements that would make you bad framer, and he's so big that his movements are or more subtle as a result. On and so on. So they really feel like that's gonna be a big point in his favor. And maybe you don't have to do as much of this these different positional things, you know, splaying out of leg and doing all the stuff you've seen. Trump do And they think the interference step. It's I don't think that that's really a okay. This is the trade off trying to steal a little strike. If you're getting treacherous, interferes, you're doing it wrong. I mean, you gotta fix that. So I You know, I don't think that that's really part of the trade off. You just gotta do it the right way. Andrew Bagley is Jonas. We're talking about Joey. Bart's debut has got a good piece up in the Affleck. I felt like he got ripped off. I need I know that they have the cardboard cut outs, and I know they played the crowd cheering. Ofthe tape. But when he came up to the plate, it was just kind of weird that he couldn't you know that he couldn't get the full effect of having a crowd. I felt I felt bad for the kid, actually. Oh, yeah. I mean, I felt that the fans because It's one of those moments where you know he's he's the most high profile trying to make his debut since Posie and probably come before that, and you have that moment where you know where it is and introductions or Ah, I I got to the park a little bit late. I only need about five minutes before the first pitch because there's no reason to go really anymore. And and I thought as I was driving, I had gotten there early, so I could hear what the crowd reaction with peaceful introduction and up no had to remind myself No, everything's different this year. Ah, So so, yeah, You missed that that that that's her moment where you know he's getting ready to dig in the box and the fans are cheering, maybe even getting a standing ovation. And just letting them know they look. You're here. You're here. This is your safe space with us. Now we're ready to celebrate you, You know, Let's go do this together. I mean, there is that moment you have been a big player makes his debut and obviously that wasn't in the cards for Joey. But, you know, I'm sure there'll be plenty of times in the future. That's all hope that The fans will be ableto sort of still appreciation for something he does on the field. Yeah, you ever He's comparing him to Buster and to me as a hitter. He's completely different with Buster was so his fan Di was just incredible..

"A TTE that point in the ball game, But of course you know the Rockies don't take kindly to that. Murphy Hiss hit his homerun staring down Du Bon in the outfield. Just wondering how You felt about that that like sequence there. I mean, the Dubon home run, how he behaved, and then you know Murphy's reaction. Well, I I don't mean to catch out of the bag Man aspires celebrations at home plate. That that ship has sailed. I mean, you guys were doing whatever they're gonna do. Look, he's had a lot of frustration aboard has not been hitting and they've been knocking the bed out of his hands with inside pitches, So not only did he hit a home run that gave his team a two run lead in the seventh inning. Katniss. That was emotional, but he beat an inside pitch. He be he be a pretty good fastball on the inside half and, uh, had a bit arm swing knocked out. That's that's a pretty That's that's that's what he's been trying to do, and he hasn't been able to do. And then later on the game, you've got another hit solid basis. But in regards to his celebration, I didn't think it was excessive. And, uh, but, you know if that's the type of stuff that that teams We'll take notice of traditionally, that goes back on in 50 years. Yeah, I didn't think it was an offense where he was going to get brushed back. You're going to get thrilled, but when given the opportunity, Daniel Murphy hits a home run. And you know, as you around second base, he stares at Du Bon out sooner. I mean, okay, that's fine. And I didn't think that was something that I would if I was pitching for the Giants. I didn't think that was eating right needed to take care of it or or not Daniel Murphy off the plate or hit him. I mean, so I way the game is today. You see it, it's accepted. And you just move on. But I didn't think anything was over the top with it. Haruka Chadwick Trump a CZ the right handed catcher right now is you know we've got another hit yesterday. He's still kind of intriguing. Do you think his presence in the lineup Is helping the Giants kind of delay. What seems inevitable and bringing up Joey Barton. Oh, absolutely. I mean, he's getting some hits pictures like throwing to him. I mean, he's quite a guy, so I mean already. He's he's won. Ah, some of the pictures over and and that's really what you try to do when you're young. Catcher Coming big legs. You want those You want to staff to believe in you if they believe you know you're going to catch and then of course you have to hit and he's got good but good at that. I I don't know what the delay is. I don't know why we're not seeing joy Bart. I mean, that's something that you know. It really isn't fully explained. We all want to see him. But, you know, I trust Farhaan. I trust Gabe. I trust Kyle, I I trust these guys. I mean, I believe in what they're doing. I'm seeing a difference in the minor league system in regards to Personnel and prospects. Um, I think the judge in a pretty good place, so they have a plan. I mean, this is not anything that's held her skelter that they're, you know, hedging on day to day and I mean, it hasn't changed that They've been very consistent with how there Approaching him. I haven't heard Joy. Bart, come out, say anything, either in the paint now, so apparently, you know, he's he's OK with his development the way that they're bringing him along, So yeah, I think we'd all like to see Joy Bart, But I think that you know, the guy who said they're right now is Intriguing, so I, you know, I think I can. I could hang out. You know, I think that's where big ass dude just gotta hang in. There were all cut in the same boat. Yeah. Hey, we're not going anywhere. So whenever he's ready, we will be ready. Crew K back to yesterday's game a little bit. Mike wanted to talk to you about some of the arms coming out of the bullpen. Giants have the 31 lead We mentioned out with U Bahn. And then Here comes Rico Garcia. Just wanted to know, like with Garcia specifically. Hey, wives have given up the two home to run home run. But do you think I mean was? Was he struggling due to stuff or was it how he was approaching batters? You think Well, hey, had stuff just didn't have command of the stuff and he threw his first breaking ball. It was about 10 feet shorter home. It was like, well, worthwhile pitches I've ever seen. And Ah, but this is a guy who last year was with the Rockies. He was in the big leagues with rock. They called him up. Yeah, so you would think that he because he played at that triple a level, which is Albuquerque. It's very similar to. Ah, The pitching in course field and then getting to the big leagues and pitching. Of course you would think That that experience would allow him to be able to learn how to it. Just when you're a little bit out of whack, and you know, he unfortunately, couldn't do it, and you couldn't get a breaking ball over. None of the secondary pitches were available to him. So you kind of put himself in, or he had to throw fastballs. And you know, he's got a good fastball. It's a mid nineties fastball, but if that's all it's coming, they're not thinking about anything else. And if you make a mistake with it out over the plate, they're going to hurt you. And that's exactly what happened. So he goes double double home run. And all of a sudden there goes two run lead, and it was unfortunate, but you know, you've been really good prior to that one. So, yeah, I mean, you give him a Mulligan on there, and then when that burger came in, it's kind of same deal. Yep. He's he was throwing through the break on his breaking ball. It just wasn't given enough time. To break a man that happens in that Arab there. It's Yes, Nothing duper sliders. They they have a tendency to kind of not show up well. You know, he's a young arm. He's you know, he's bull, strong and happy that he's got that fastball and not afraid to show it off. That was all he had. And unfortunately you know, it backed up on him, too. So too young arms got schooled in that game and one of being a five run inning in the difference of the game. Hey, Crewe. What do you What do you see in right now, when you watch 100 pants at the plate? Well. The thing that I saw two years ago when he was here was clinch. When you have flipped As a hitter. That tells me you're not seeing it. And I thought I thought his career was over. He goes to Texas last year. And we saw him in spring training and the flips was gone. And he was especially good against lefties and he was covering the plate and he was driving the outside pitch something we did not see him do two years ago. He was slapping at the outset pitch. There was no drive. So the Rangers last year that Dr came back. You know, he worked hard to get it back. And he did he had this year for so I was really intrigued to see and what what Pence would have when he came back to spring training this year. In the past that I saw spring drink. We're doing that I saw in Texas. He had. He was driving the blonde, the outside part of plate. He he wasn't flinching. Now. They used to more against lefties. I don't think he flinches. Against lefties were at times. You know what? He doesn't see a breaking ball. He kind of bells and that left hip goes and I've seen that so I haven't haven't really like. Is it bats against right handers when they come around? But I'd have no problem with that pass against the lefties. I think he hit the ball hard, hasn't had a whole lot to show for. He's gonna want for 29 but You go back in and I better about eight or nine of those Apaches hit the ball over 100 miles an hour. He's got nothing for it, So that's frustrating. But I see him covered the outside corner against lefties. I see him driving the outside pitch. And I don't see unflinching against lefties. I would prefer that all of us that bats were against lefties has opposed raise. So crude looking forward to.

"Or daughter when she joined just courtesy of my guests in Hi, Maria. How are you? And get her You were doing great. Ah! How is your job going to change for all this? Obviously it is. But do you know the guidelines yet? Yeah, it's going to be different. I think the first official workout is tomorrow. So you know, we'll be we'll be let into for kind of Ah, three hour window. Or we'll be able to. There's a workout, although I think we're going to be kind of limited to the press box and potentially the bullpen, So you know it's it's going to be any kind of a challenge. You're gonna get it, You know, keep track of you know where it is what everyone was doing Also, because a lot of the workers are gonna be staggered just because you know the players have to comply with all the social distancing guidelines as well. Um, So yeah, I mean, it's going to be tough. I think that hopefully, you know will be You know, still would be able to get offensive of kind of the work that everyone's doing. And you know the preparations that that you know everyone going to be doing to kind of get ready for the season. Nammari the Giants is your fathers have been reading have been sending out just about daily. They're giants media protocols and guidelines for their conical training. Camp. I guess it's not spring training anymore. It's summer training brought to you by camping world. Which is interesting. They the other day they sent went out and they delineated. Your your spots in the press box, So the media is going to be able to watch Giants baseball, rhetorical parking the fans. You're not going to be let in. But you're not gonna have a meal room. Obviously gonna have to bring your own food from home. You've got to be six feet apart. But my question as far as that, you know, just talking to players and and Gabe Kapler. How are they going to set that out? Is that all gonna be done? Teleconferences coming? Ah, we're obviously not going to be allowed. I don't think to go face to face with a player. But how is that going to be as far as you know, mass interviews and even if you want to, you know, Say you want interview Jeff Samardzija. How is that gonna work? Yes. So far For now, all interviews. They're going to be expected to be conducted via Zoom. I think for the most part we're supposed to get Gabe Kapler. Probably every day. You know, I think after the all the work out there kind of concluded and then I think No, the giant PR stock is going to try to get us you know, at least one or two players a day. And then if we have kind of one on one request, I think that that you know they're going to try their best to accommodate us. Yeah. I mean, obviously, it's it's going to be tough, You know, not having access to the clubhouse. I feel like you know, we might think that you know our fans and our readers are gonna kind of miss us being being in there and just kind of, you know, being able to observe. Of that environment that the players are there in every day. And, yeah, I mean, it's really tough because you're not going to kind of just walk up to a guy. It has the most casual conversations that you have it so you know so many times during the regular season. So it is gonna be interesting to see you know how that affects the type of stories that were able to tell You're Gordo's Jonas. She is the Giants beat writer for MLB dot com. We've talked exhaustively about everything around baseball but baseball itself. So I wanted to ask you some things about actually the giant because I think people want to get into that. From a storyline standpoint. A cz we sit today. What are you looking at? As faras giant storylines to kick things off that are actually baseball related. Yes, I think you know one of my biggest questions, I guess, you know, are the giant contenders now. I mean, obviously the you know we're down to it A 60 game season, which really creates kind of Ah, window for everyone. So I kind of surprised people, you know, Obviously this kind of viewed it as another rebuilding year for the Giants, but You know, it would be interesting to see if they can kind of get off to a strong start and find themselves right in the thick of things. You know, They actually have a lot of veterans on this team who have kind of experience in You know, playoff races and things like that, so maybe they'll be a little bit more invigorated now that they know if it's going to be a sprint from start to finish. So you know, at the same time I feel like the you know, A lot of the success of the season will also still depend on, you know, player development. So it'll be interesting to see. You know, at what point if and when. I guess the Giants Get opportunities to guys like Joe Barton. So I mean, it's gonna be really fascinating to see how they kind of You know, try to strike that balance between, you know, making a push for now. Also, obviously trying to trying to take care of the guys who they know are gonna be a big part of their future. Yeah. Marie, You mentioned joy Bart as Faras, a position group to me. By far the most fascinating is the catching position because Buster Has been sliding the last couple of years. And I think the hip in the injury obviously last year, but all reports he was great, and we saw it with our own eyes in the spring that he was driving the ball better. The Giants. You know Joey Bard is a big factor the number two overall pick a couple of years ago, and they just took Patrick Bailey with her first round pick this year, and they did sign him yesterday afternoon, and the report is that he's going to be a part of their player pool. So, but Karen's been downplaying Joey Barton. You know, being on the roster, they do have this taxi squad So and one's gonna be a catcher that Freeman taxi squad so How do you think they're going to do this?.

"So we're a minute or two late on the afternoon Delight portion of the show, Bob Socio, Jonas, 12. 30 Big story last night, Cam Newton goes of the Patriots. We'll get the view in the Northeast from that one. That discussion. By the way, the Giants have announced their their expanded 60 man roster. One thing that came out during that note was 100 bishop the first round pick at Arizona State a couple of years ago. He's got Cove in 19. Reportedly, the symptoms are mild, though, so that is good news. Yeah, but he'd have to quarantine. Obviously eso that'll impact. Ah. You know, I'm sure he's still on the list, though, right? Believe knows they don't know He's not at all cool. They Adam later they could Adam later. Yeah. But he's not on the list. So they've got room. They've got 51 players and cramp 18 nonroster 25 pitchers. Seven or non roster for catchers through your nonroster 12 and feelers. Fiver, nonroster 10 outfielders three or non roster. Pablo is back on the roster, right? Yes. And I was procedurally the round mound of pound. Yes, the comfort panda is bad, So I mean, the big thing is when they when they start testing him. And obviously 100 bishop. They already have. You could have guys getting over 19 and I, you know I don't want anybody to get it because there's a risk of a stew said it's bad, and Stewart seems to think you get a He had a false negative and he really did have it. Which would be good. Then you have the antibodies that certainly have a serology tests and see if he had it. But in any event, it's gonna happen. And ah Now, if you get it now, though, and the season starts ah July 23rd 24th or so. It's going to make it difficult for you to be On the roster opening day because you're going to be out of your fucking tomato workout at all. I'm gonna be corn chained. You know pretty much all activity has to seize But you try to get it now than later. But you rather not get it at all. So I don't know One thing. We talked about basketball such a few people. 5.2% tested positive. Which is good there, socially distancing and staying away, which they have to be. That means there's gonna be a lot more people getting it when they do. Mix back. It's inevitable, so it's interesting that we'll see how that impacts 100 fish because he was going to be one of the The four young guys Reggiano and barred and Ramos that we're going to be a part of this, you know, maybe not the 30 man active roster with the Giants, but the 60 man expanded roster to be sure. Yeah, and like you said, the other three guys are there. That's probably the highlight of the whole thing. The other guys in there. I don't know much and I'm looking to the catchers. For example, Buster Posey, Joy Bart, Rob Brantly Tyler Henneman, So I don't I don't know where Bart fits in that. Like you said. It's a 60 man roster, but that doesn't necessarily mean Those guys gonna play s O, because obviously, they know they'll have a set number of of players will be on the roster, so no, I will see if our pleasant I would think who know so they'll do it. I mean, I think you'd want three catchers on the roster, right? So even when you start with 30 For a couple of weeks where you go to 28 then to except that I've got a 26. I think, you know, we'll see how Gabe Kapler manages Bruce Boat, She was always much better when he had three catchers. On his roster and you know with Buster and you could have Universal D. H. So you know you want Joey's bad we'll see if he's initially when they talked about the roster before I wasn't even going to be. Bart was going to be on it. They didn't think he would be able to contribute right away. So we'll see. We'll reassess the one name I'm looking for. In the outfield. Queeg. I don't see him on this roster job of that on the roster roster is not on the non rice stir nonroster invitee list. I don't see any hope. We With the three were able to sign Friday. So under which, where? Who wind up really that Friday was the day you could start signing she's past Friday? Yeah, the rosters were frozen until Friday. On Friday, you could start to start to make trained me. That Agent Boden. Jim Jimbo floated that out. He's the one who did. You haven't heard anything. He was the only outfielders, though. Davis Dickerson Dugger McCarthy fence later, Extreme Ski are the Guys on the roster. The nonroster Billy Hamilton has got to make the team now with a rolling start explaining their owner of second base you on him. Elliot Ramos to Joy Rickard Rickard Rickard. So you need any more out there if you have a D h. I like before, but then, like you said, there's what's at 246 What? 11 guys in the outfield in the outfield. A lot of guys on that, so maybe not. Maybe not. So, uh, 10 outfielders, three nonroster. So how does that work on Wednesday when they when they go back? It's somebody gonna be covering that or have no. 40 man? As far as media wise, like is there? Yeah, I think they're allowed to go. I mean, Wednesday is just going to be high Check in physical day. You know it's going to be covered, 19 Check day. What I bread is that the end of the age or giants or do much of anything on the field. So Friday But I have also read. Some teams want their guys to start hitting on Wednesday, so you gotta have a covert 19 chest when you first get in. And then you got to get cleared. If you have a negative, then I guess you could start to work out. And until you find out what the results are, I think you're in limbo. So it all depends on how long It takes to get the results and they shouldn't take that long. I wouldn't think but I don't know what? I'm not going to check in Wednesday. I think the media I don't know, though They know they're not going to be on the field. They're gonna be allowed only the press box with their binoculars. Like bear Bryant knows Tower watching from up there. I mean, I don't not gonna be allowed to go down there right now. I wouldn't know. I don't know. I wonderful. Just be zoom Call town of stuff just to get reactor, man it or something. I don't know everything's going to be different. But you know, the other piece I read, too was about the NFL in what they're essentially talking about the NFL is you got guys flying from all over the country. Getting together and they expected there to be obviously a kind of an increase right out of the gate. And then, as you said, you kind of got a quarantine for a couple of weeks, and then we see we'll go from there. But then the MBA really didn't have that issue. The embassy said was at 5%. So I wonder what the NFL does, but there was there was a great piece that I read this morning. That essentially said they're They're kind of ready for the fact that they'll come in like they normally do for training camp, But then they expected, you know a decent number of cases. Yeah. I mean, you know, I hope no one gets it. But it's inevitable that you're going to get it. So you'd rather have people I would think you'd rather you know. Come back with you had in your system. You don't have it. I mean, the ideal thing was the antibody test. You had covert 19 didn't even know you had it. And you're fine. And you don't have it right now. So you're clear you're good to go. And I wonder what those guys even in the N B a bubble Where they have the same perimeter. Security. They have to get through where, you know. Do you carry a little card around? I already had it. Here's my antibody. I tested positive. I wanna go out. I'm not going to get it. I can't get it again or you. Could you give Eric's cases of people going twice, But the odds are so slim. I don't know..

"The bay show out and be a part of the first take live studio audience at lake Sally do fourth through the seventh. China. Half past. Sports. No giants kick around today. But there is some giants news joy Bart tomorrow night. He will return to the lineup. So that's good. That's good news. MLB draft is tonight it's going on right now. As a matter of fact, and the croup mock is holding up. Adly rush Mond catcher, Oregon state, who got berry bonds over the weekend. He got walked the basis loaded. He was the first pick. He goes to the Orioles, that he's happy about that doesn't have to change color schemes. They went to Oregon state second pick, you'll know this Bobby Witt junior, Bobby Witt pitched for your angels. He's a shortstop out of the Dallas area. He's going to Kansas City and get this golden spikes award winner. Andrew vaughn. From Cal heels. Third to the White Sox. The Marlins are on the clock four. The giants picket ten. I just wanna get further into this group level with L is that I just know that I heard him today, he was telling me this last night when I was talking to that he, he was Jonathan mayo of MLB on the croup show. And they did. They did a Moctar. Mattessich him fourth overall pick win set. Wash it about the whole self Krueger. "He has a leap plate discipline and pitch recognition. He had more walks than strikeouts in every level in the minors till it got to triple A putting him in the lead us bar or in the two hole in the lineup. There isn't much power there. But with his ability to barrel up the baseball and compact swing. He could run into ten or more home runs, and perhaps more as he fills out. He turns twenty two this June. He's an above average defender that spent significant time at short in AA and the Zona folly and scouts loved them there, but he's going to be turned into with Fernando tattoos junior short while he holds down second pace, the Padres hope for years to come. But the Padres thought so well of him at short that he's gonna probably be the opening day starter there until tattoos comes up after about a month or seasoning in triple A overall. He's a bat first second base nettle hit for average and have a high on base. Once he gets used to major league pitching next. We're onto the best causing prospect in all of baseball. I mean, I guess until Ali Richmond gets here. But I mean, I guess Joey bark and fill the void until then Daniel Spoerri is going to tell you more about this once in a lifetime catcher that we are going to see and just basically what all the tools he has. I mean, he'd very lax very few when it comes to the catching position. He's going to be very excited. Any giants fan should be very excited because they already have a successor to the best catcher of their team history. One of the best catchers in baseball history in BUSTER Posey and portrayed. Fill those shoes. And a couple of years. He was already calling games at Georgia Tech. You know? So he doesn't have to learn that at the minor league level he understands how to call games. It was interesting. I had a talk with another giant draft pick. I did a interview with him Astier kind of in the fall and he actually played with Joey barred in the Cape Cod league. And I asked him. What's it like, you know, you throw to your guy that you throw to have thrown to for the last four years in the you throw it a Joey bar you did it in Cape Cod league. You did it in. You know, you've done it. Now for Salem Kaiser in he said, it he did not like he almost like interrupted me to like say how good it feels has a pitcher to throw to joy Bart because defensively he just gets everything. He's got you. He's got runners all the time because his arm is really strong and his ability to call the game. He said he's a really good receiver of the ball. He makes it easy for. He said he felt it makes it easier on him to throw the ball. Joey the every. Likes to talk about the power. And you know, what they seen a whole while, you know, this is the best, you know, one of the best all around catching prospects who've seen in a really long time. And you know, the defensive aspect of it is is so high up that I think, you know, it's hard like I wouldn't consider him yet for twenty nineteen. But if I mean if he shoots through the minor leagues, there's even there's easy talk of him being in at twenty twenty. You know, the giants if they fill they're ready to go. They'll move them. Fast up next is another hard throwing pitcher Dylan cease with the Chicago White Sox. A seventy grade fastball and a guy that can absolutely hammered down pick his spots a big deal with him as his arm. He was talked about having Tommy John surgery in the past has been very good at this curve ball this year as well. Our good friend White Sox. Dave from barstool sports is gonna die. The little bit deeper on this up and coming prospect right handed pitching prospect traded from the cubs organization. Four Jose cantata to the White Sox anti has an explosive vest ball touches one hundred miles per hour. Power curveball very good change of starting this year. It finally developed into a plus third pitch in his command was really good this year too. So he's going to start to flood through the system should be top of the order arm at best number one in ace at worse than number two or three.

"This guy's in absolute beasts when it comes to hitting and just needs to really work on his on his control at the plate. Our friends over at Padres on the farm are gonna dive a little bit more into deeper in his belt. Tune thanks guys. This is Donovan from fires on the farm Lewis earliest MLB pipelines. Number two, second basement and twenty third overall has a hit tool that some scouts sake and challenge for batting title. He has a leap plate discipline and pitch recognition.
