"She goes to the people. What are you talk high be soon those people for one hundred, million dollars. You kidding me back to work the next day and she's on the documentary. Everything's fine. Her arms just daintily she has normal. She was too I felt like she was caught up in the whole thing. I don't know those. She had the arm. Tiger thinks she did it for the athletes offsets, the ratings. Similar they needed they needed. Someone to be had there are. They needed. Yes. Of course it. So you got. It you bought you parade into I bought into the fact I felt sorry for woman who got her arm bitten off and then came back to our soap opera drama gotTa hangnail about two weeks. She got her army enough although Lemme Lemme ask you that We're sitting here at the the lovely review. Journal. I've never used a sick day you. We have them if they paid me for sick days I retire right now being some beach the next ten years. I think we have them because I see them I. I wouldn't even know how to use one. Would we tell the boss? Say I got a cold Carmo I I. Don't we have sick days here, I will say. The greatest employee employer. So I assume we do. Yes. I've just as you said. It's not my benefits around the best male Jerry, their golden love the benefits at the same time. I decided would know the process of do of putting in a sector. I would have no clue maybe an email. Well, we don't see anyone anymore maybe virtually you want the campaign manager Joshua dial. Now this is more because you feel sorry from the kid was a failed campaign manager. Joe, ran for governor, and then president I think is a libertarian. What else would he run? Let's be clear. He he's not well, he did study politics in college but. Joe. Met Him. He was working at the AMMO. Counter Walmart. And I remember that. Joe Is going to be like campaign whenever you watch. Josh Lewin. Sure. I had him as the run- runner up not because of his failures but he had to watch travis Maldonado shoot his head off. So I felt so bad for like maybe this kid gets the call over the. Biting off the girl but it had to be one of those two I think that I actually looked him up last night I had a few minutes. This Joshua Dial campaign manager is now. He. He said he never watched it. He'd never watched Docu series and. He's he's in the middle of the country somewhere. He's gotten out of politics I don't know what? He was a really campaign manager and carrying presidential candidate we're talking about. She wasn't really politics. He was just part of the circus at the zoo and I love that Kid so Carol Baskin I'm sorry does not deserve. We could come up with ten people on that show before Carol Baskin deserves the spot. Well, I don't want Jeff Low on he's the worst. Yeah, he's a bad guy hit a lot going on in my old town of San Diego. A lot of money the Babysitter Yeah Zach. I'd watch don't watch if she was. Kind of played a falwell there. What's going on? There's a lot of weird a lot of weird things happening on the no surprise to anyone. Now it's less drama Joe Exotic than it is on General Hospital but at least we'll joe exotic like real I I twenty four years in I'm pretty sure G. H. IS NOT I would make that bet do you know people who watch soap operas? I think these people are real and when they're out there like, Hey, sunny I don't want anybody that watches soap operas anymore. I honestly did not know that there were still wants usually it's kind of the last one is the last last bashing of so so personally when I've ever watched. Watching me for a year and she never watched it again, and now every day she looks on, does he still watching this thing I'm like I stay up late at night and watch a with murdering general hospital she's in the bedroom You know she knows I am a mess so she doesn't come out because she knows what's on the TV but yeah, she she knows I watch it. He's embarrassed of course disgusted with me I'm sure the kids are embarrassed to Don. Yeah. Come on they did they know they barely had anything to do with me when they're at home they were on their own lives. So yeah, they were embarrassed a lot twenty nine seasons give me in your mind and I know you have a lot what TV show stayed on too long. Now, we can obviously say twenty nine seasons with this buffoonery is too long. But what I'm going to give you one, I'm GonNa tell you when you're going to probably disagree but think about it. The office was on onto long. Yes. No I mean I, know. You're saying we're saying once he left right. But at the same time it was at the time. It was so high at the top like they had to stay on the end it when he was leaving but it just I think they just got to weird. So No, Michael Scott, you still liked it. I still liked it. I don't love it like the first six seasons with him. Yeah. I can pretty much. I could name every line pretty much every the last three seasons I watched some I still watch them but I'm GonNa they weren't the same you're right it was on. The definition of being onto. But that was circumstance that was your main character leaves, and then they just tried Wade's main character after I always said eight and a half men Kushner was horrible. You can't how can you have two and a half see I didn't even know no two and a half was on for eight seasons but country was horrible because she hugging top she thought it was gonna have laughs those the average per up two and a half men and you know another another one showed that I was a pretty good show. Early is friends that lasted to the season's wasn't my thing. A. I've seen some episodes wasn't our favorite show of all time I. Think it's your. He's one of our favorites of all time should seinfeld quit after. So No. In with Seinfeld, I went to the end and I will stand first of all I will absolutely fight to the death that the finale was good although. To know now, I'm GonNa Greasy about the court when they brought everyone basketball work. No matter what they would have done it what the people would have hated about it whatever. The is good and Seinfeld had the same issue where Larry David laughed. So one of co-creator is one of the main writers guys left. So for two seasons, they were without him and it got weird if you watch the last two seasons, the episodes are really really weird but they're still hilarious like so I I don't think that's too long at all I was Oh, the easiest one ever is actually funny enough me and Larry were just talking about it just before we came on here how I met your mother. There's a reason that it was on duty, Hauser? Kit. Yeah which so what happened with that show? I don't know how many people know the history of it was an amazing show but it was planned Alec they sat down before the show started and they planned out every season. This is how it's going to start going to go here here here here, and this is the last season, and then as they got to the last season, it was still the number one show and CBS like you need to do another season like no, the show the show is already planned. It's a preplanned ends now this is it. No you have to do another season. So the last season. A wedding weekend all in one season and it was it was shoehorned in because they already had the arc of the story and they're like, well, how do we make another season and it sucked? It was so bad terrible. So I would say that one stayed on for too long and then the other one is much as I. Love It. I think the simpsons is still on it is. I. Think in my good as I've watched it in a while. Watch it I. Love. The Simpsons must be watching it I liked. Caesar. Eleven. season. With. Modern. Family. I like it on Neil knee tended to have really hot people on that show sure that the to wise forget about it. modern family was ten seasons like that. I'm six seasons into how to get away with murder. Many seasons is that six I've got about ten Seville's left also. It's not a classic I'm GonNa Throw another one in.

"Right I am Dave hello also back in the studio we talked about Joe Biden earlier in the show he is the presumptive democratic nominee and amazingly Alexandria Ocasio Cortez says she has never met him nor has he reached out to her I can't believe this actually I can't I can't believe that because he's establishment right yeah Abbas met and heard they don't mix and like he was obviously on Bernie's I mean she was born yeah I'm bringing you into this well I mean she was until Joe Rogan was like I'm all in for him I'm all in for a for Bernie because he's consistently kami or something right that made a lot of sense and then and then like wait Joe Rogan like he doesn't like trans people yeah this is bad I can't DO that I don't I don't know what I want anymore I'm so conflicted serious question yeah do either of you think Joe Biden knows or remembers who AOC is I don't think he knows I don't think he knows or remembers who he is now let alone anybody else I'm sure he looks at his wife every day he's like who are you but she AOC did an interview with The New York Times about Biden being the presumptive nominee and whether or not she would do what Bernie just did yesterday and that is endorsed him and she says that she plans to make him uncomfortable that plan she wants to make by not comfortable because she believes that there's two patterns among Biden's campaign which signal under performance in terms of a general election so in the primaries that he has done okay and he under performed among Latinos and young people both of which she believes are very important demographics this November and so she says the whole process of coming together should be uncomfortable for everyone involved that's how you know it's working she went on to say I've always said I'll support the democratic nominee but unity is a process and figuring out what that looks like it's part of this whole conversation that I think Bernie and Warren and other folks are a part of it as well they're not part of the conversation there like being paid off they've been bribed yeah you just haven't gotten a bribe yet yeah you just have gotten your your share yeah exactly they've all been given something and that's that's why I'm shutting up and taken my delegates and I'm giving them to you and I want to go to my third I'm hopefully it's going to be a fourth home hopefully that's what's happening because I've asked once again for your financial support thing there she just hasn't been given you know goodies yeah maybe when she gets goodies still shot up to did you watch the bonus episode of the tiger king that was released on Sunday I did not because I just I'm going to fill me in because I just can't tell these anymore these people they make me feel dirty so gross well it was terrible so don't waste your time because it wasn't like I mean the the documentary part was awesome I loved it because it was just a train wreck that you could look away from this bonus episode all it was was Joel McHale you know who he is right yeah I did okay John Hale basically hosted a Skype session on TV with a bunch of the characters from the documentary so it's like a bachelor reunion kind of only was one at a time it didn't include Joe exotic obviously it didn't include Carole Baskin it didn't include Howard Baskin it's just included some of the people that worked at the zoo at and worked with Joe it did include Jeff Lowe and his wife it did not include the nanny also included the guide that at some point of the documentary seem to be the most normal person and that was the guy that was exotic Joe or Joe exotics campaign manager when he ran for governor yeah so that guy apparently wants to help the Joe Biden and offer is offering him access to Tigers to use and potential fundraisers and I don't know how that is even normal you know it's like he he may be the most normal but I don't know what I thought was most normal is the guide to have press that extremism is knees down yeah and he was on there he's seen Sunday she seemed kind of normal to like I thought wow he he actually seems like he shouldn't be there yeah he I agree with you like he's definitely the most like it's like he was insane person yeah and I was like why are you there you should be someplace else yeah well below him and some of the other people that worked at the zoo like staff you know the dude or the the the dude check that day the Czech Denmark yeah the one that lost the arm he he he he goes by he now now in the documentary they rescue operation as she and then everybody got really mad because apparently he uses he pronoun okay but him and then the the the legless guy and other people that worked on the actual zoo none of them had anything nice to say about Joe exotic except for staff the armless she'd dude yeah because I mean is she they seem to really I mean could that person and went back to after that person got their hand or their arms like not off by a tiger at like five days later they were back at work yeah because the doctors were like listen we can either amputate your arm or you're going to have to spend two years in physical therapy and south was like yeah just cut that off just because you haven't had any arm well why would you do I mean that is one tough yeah either yeah but that was the only person that had anything remotely positive to say about Joe exotic and still said he deserves to be in prison so all of them almost without exception we're like the only reason I stayed is it didn't have anything do with Joe had everything to do with the Tigers I love the animals yeah and so this guide this what's his name Josh would dial so he's the one that ran Joe exotics campaign for governor he is saying he wants to get back into politics he wants to run more campaigns and he said he would be willing to help out Joe Biden's campaign by hosting fundraising events with tiger I love how during that day documentary during the tiger King documentary because this guy is a is a libertarian and when Joe exotic ran I think he ran as a libertarian and he was I think that's what he ran as anything that's right and he had no idea what a libertarian was no I no idea not although this guy voted for Obama he says I voted for Obama three times in the primary and in both general election okay and one of the things about him that came out in the Sunday special is that he is gay Joshua dial the cannot really yeah I didn't know that I mentioned in the actual document but he mentioned that in this in this show he says so far no one from Joe Biden's campaign has reached out I'm very I'm shocked by that because they said that you can make like ten grand a pop shown up with a little baby tiger I mean listen I would be drawn you know I would be drawn I know you would be an event with tiger Zinda USB because that's who I am as a person that is totally who you are I would just not be there now I just wouldn't I just I feel really bad for all of these sweet animals I just hate it I hate all of that yeah two others a person from your campaign Bernie what do you go to your campaign doesn't exist anymore but there's a guy by the name of Jackie Califano phone distributed organizing director whatever that means untitled his insurance so you're you're very well it's as important as the title horror short K. as important well he tweeted out a really ridiculous photographs of people in line for food banks and that's been an issue like you've probably seen around the interwebs that there's been various cities where you know cars are in line for miles and miles and miles waiting to get food bank items that you need and this is one of those things where I look at those pictures and I'm like are we really making the right decision here yeah because people are out of work because the government has shut them down once again asking for your financial support exactly so Jack Califano tweets a photograph and says and I quote capitalism leads to bread lines at okay this guy this guy doesn't okay all right so they were not good government has shut down the free market is shut down these businesses small businesses how is this capitalism leading to bread lines exactly how because the government shut down those business says forcefully yeah explain to me how capitalism is leading to bread lines explained that to me somebody Jack hello well people tried to explain it to him and his response at first was to say to all the conservatives losing their minds in this thread I'm sorry but facts don't care about your yelling really and it's it's interesting how he said that many locks all of his social media that he protected his account he can't take it because he is wrong because he's wrong he doesn't know what he's saying he has no idea what he's talking about that's exactly right and then not even did not only did he block is a Twitter make that private but then he also blocked it he locked up his linked in profile as well because people decided to reach out to him there to try to explain to him how a bread line in this circumstance has absolutely zero to do with capitalism being to blame yeah some believe and also within what you have linked in a ha I love it I linked in is I think it's for people looking for career staff but I will tell you I never go to it and the times that I do go to it it's maybe once every you know three to six months I'll go to my link then because I think you have to pay you to pay as a user you down but I mean you have to pay if you want to do like something better like if you want to be in a better like out you don't have to pay as a job seeker I used it constantly as a recruiter to find people to hire and it was grateful for that it's just a professional associates Facebook only it's for jobs yeah but I will tell you so many people direct message you out there yeah they do it's constant it's like I saw that we should like somebody knew somebody contacted me one time and said Hey you know I saw that linked and thought that we should be hooked up and I wanna see if our synergies Matt and I remember thinking employee who uses that language because I didn't because it's all perfect it's all corporate speak out but I am but but what I did but I was in corporate America for twenty four years before I came here and I don't remember anybody asking me if our synergies should write back and say I need to look at a new paradigm no I deleted it promptly fairness I ask you every day if you want to see if arsenal what you asked me if you want to if you if you can rub your synergies up against mine and I said but anyway that is more professional networking tool and it's actually fantastic as a recruiter I had to pay yeah I use it for recruiting okay if you're a person that's looking for a job it's fantastic because it's not you don't pay anything and you can get connected and figure out who are the people in charge of various companies and so on okay because I have one but I never posted people ask me all the time it's like why would anyone want to add me I never do it add people and I said I kind of see the point of it but it's it's kind of a it's a little bit bizarre the people that reach out to you on yeah because you're like you should accept every friend request there as I do because I figure at some point we will be five and then it'll be good yeah that big of a connected probably because of something that you audio sound bite for exactly yeah totally all right and what are we talking about now we got talk about names yeah baby names that have come out of this whole yes let's do that you guys stay tuned for that.

"Sunday evening. Stick at home because it's do corona land. I'm calling house arrest now. It's also Easter Sunday. So a lot of people will probably be at home anyway but we do have the electoral missing your family. Because they can't come over for Easter Borscht or whatever. Your family has racer. It's probably now across bruns and hard boiled eggs breakfast for me. It's not Hossan feffer now. Well whatever you can call in the numbers eight five five four five zero three seven. Three three eight fifty five four fifty free one thing that's been happening during this whole Cova. Nineteen eighty-four thing is the tiger king. Oh Jeez now I know we've been talking about covert on the air here and I do think that Ian is right. This is important. This is the biggest threat to freedom in our lifetimes. The virus itself or the response to the virus. Does it really matter? Virus can be a threat to freedom a virus. It's not quite an inanimate objects but it's really really close to an inanimate object. It has no moral agency right clearly. The virus isn't the issue three action to the viruses. Which is the issue. And you know yes. The the beacon of liberty that is free. Talk live whether you agree with us on every issue every time or not you at least are likely to claim that well at least those boys are consistent. Yes Sorry Valley folks. Those keeps it consistent. I don't know I'm forty nine window. I stopped being. A boy have is consistent. You know like we we stand for liberty here on free talk live so if you WanNa call and talk about whatever you know. Dastardly threat to liberty is The government's cooking up right now because of this coverted. Nineteen eighty-four thing. You're welcome to do it. The number is eight five five four five zero three seven three. I just WanNa talk about Tiger King. Now you really WanNa talk about tire king. They asked 'cause I got. I got a homework assignment from you. Say like if you haven't seen any tiger king make sure you watch a little bit of tiger king before you come in. So I watched like the top. Ten cringes tiger king moments on Youtube. And that's it for my exposure. Now I've only watch tiger king. I haven't watched any of this sort of stuff about it. Yeah I mean I think you probably got a lot about cooking and melody getting chance to watch anything. No I need like a week's notice on that kind of thing stayed up until six. Am arguing about what we should and should not tell the general public as far as philosophy. Okay I was like everything and they were like well. Perhaps not as well as the case may be so. I wasn't going to watch Tiger King I. I didn't watch game of thrones. I didn't Watch Sopranos. I didn't watch lost. I didn't watch any of this stuff. I don't care. Lost is good so I hear a madge. I refuse to believe that tiger is good. That's the appeal. What what broke you say? I'm I got to watch a friend of mine. Who enjoys making fun of my radical libertarianism? On this show. I'm the voice of reason but in the real world I am as a radical by anybody's standards anybody's standards and you know he's like we were on a zoom call or something and he Streams that me freedom isn't free mark and I realized at that moment that well I guess. I'm going to have to watch at least one episode of this tire king thing. Okay and I say Melanie. This is some of the most compelling television that has been produced in the last decade. You shouldn't listen to me. I don't know crap I watch much. Tv doesn't say part of that the the cringe moments video was how it was intentionally produced. Be cringing like it's bad. Tv of course is long. Don't use the term documentary. I'm fine here because this is not a documentary docudrama. I don't think we even have documentaries anymore. But this was made in the style of a documentary. Okay and I mean to me a documentary. Yeah but so is the libertarian store. Wars death star video. That doesn't mean that it is one agreed. I think the documentary is a style at this point and not a sort of fact. Documentary means like a journalist. Documenting things suggesting that you're getting the whole story and I wouldn't propose for a moment that the tiger king is the full story. I'm just claiming it's a story and a really good one and you know maybe you disagree with me. Eight five five four five zero three seven three three. I don't care I watched it. I liked it. They're seven episodes are forty minutes long. It's not like my wife. Life has been wasted or anything like that. I swear to God if we if I was on the team of people who don't watch the popular thing and I have betrayed you I. I'm sorry I didn't mean to betray you but yeah I love this thing. It was really awesome. Great Show and you know I clearly came away with it. I think it was designed and well-designed my opinion for you to walk away believing that your person your character was clearly the hero and if you can produce something where there's a whole bunch of different heroes. Okay you've done a great job. That's all the players on the tiger king aside from Joe Exotic right like there's a relatable character for anybody is what you're saying. I think Joe. Exotics probably relatable to a lot of people but Joe Exotic certainly as a Megalomaniac Brit small you know And he's a Kook. He found his small pond that he could be the big fish. Yeah yeah he's a big big gay fish gun-toting fish in a small pond and I'm trying to. I'm going to try not to spoil too much tiger king for you in case you need to watch it but hey you know it's not like you have any warning this thing's been out for weeks so if if I if I somehow convince you I'm going to try not to spoil too much but hey we gotta talk about how you're talking to some extent but I think I walked away thinking Joshua. Dial who was the libertarian campaign manager for Joe's to libertarian campaigns? Was the hero like this. Is clearly the only person who has anything has a grasp on anything that's remotely represents rationality and he chose to take that name and dragged through Tiger King. I hate him already well. I don't think he libertarian. Nobody knew what this was going to be. How do you not know that your? How do you not know that this? This whole the whole tiger king thing was basically being documented the whole time before they show up and then there was a fire that destroyed all the footage and then another documentary comes through and you know just sort of asking questions in these kind of things and there's some amazing things happen and it certainly talking about and that kind of thing so anyway that'd be one thing important if it if it is to be presented as documentary right then. You don't really know where the narrative is going to take you to start documenting the documentary about people having tigers for pets right. And you're like you know what I need to put on. Here the Libertarian label and unlike. Okay I hate you well as I understand it. It's illegal to have tigers pets. I'm pretty sure it is. What's that he's exotic zoo zoo and that this is the next step that that which Kiro Baskin's Anyway that's what they say about this lady. I think I met her by the ice. I was working at a gym in Sarasota Florida years and years and years ago and some lady from something called or something called something very close to the big cat. Rescue came in bought a gym membership and worked out several times and I talked to her about well. What else lions and tigers and I think. That's what I really WanNa talk about here. Is that the sum total of this. Everybody walks away thinking these people are lunatics and I would get that impression. Almost everybody believes nobody should be able to own a tiger. Piss `push and I am here to stand in the face of this because that's the that's the role of the Libertarian. Here is you know the poem by Reverend Martin. Niemoeller will stand with you mark. What is the I came for the Communists and I was not a communist. I said nothing right. And then they came for the social socialist or maybe trade unionists. That's the one. I was a trade union so I said nothing. Then they came for the Jews. I wasn't a Jew so I said nothing and then when they came for me there was no.

"You nor is the terrible yeah I do I'm mad and I'm saying hello to all you cool cats and kittens out there and it's so cringe worthy and they go for so many times which I love socio with Casper actually imagine my grandmother on Facebook really like your videos or something out there right before that is the you should have stopped while you are ahead of this dot you see you finally worked into yep so home there were not on good today we are talking about tiger king murder mayhem and madness the latest Netflix docu series Craig number one on the board I'll tell you Netflix does such a good job with these outside well the man that I know there are so that's the body really nine they're really not like start in them I think people approached Netflix with that but whatever I will keep my Netflix subscription as long as they keep pumping out content like this tire king is a rated TV MA now they should just stop giving streaming stuff ratings just don't give it a right that you have to because a lot of children view Netflix don't pay TV MA is gonna stop a child from watching this I want to stop may I was a good boy I returned a phone on time because I got it by accident this is a documentary I wanted the ladies man but I actually got the ladies room seven episodes totaling five hours and seventeen minutes that works out to about forty five minutes per episode yeah go on rotten tomatoes this is a hundred percent from critics makes ninety weeks are sent from audience no that's why it's still like I can't see anyone not liking this right so when you're like oh I didn't love it I think you're gonna like it regardless there's enough there from everybody and it's really really well made you don't like it yeah and I think why critics are at a hundred percent if you're just talking like bare bones of a documentary you're supposed to remain unbiased and the filmmaker documentarian here good he doesn't provide his opinion on any of this yeah he just gives you all of their own words any shows both sides here did I don't masking gets as much screen time as anyone on the at Arafat's days dot there are all these guys got their face in their synopsis of tiger king murder mayhem and madness a rivalry between big cat eccentrics takes a dark turn when Joe exotic a controversial animal park boss is caught in a murder for hire plot and I'll tell you what maybe the thing I care about least in this whole thing was the murder for hire plot what is the joy ride in this is all of the characters each and every single character including had their own documents the last they all could have had their own daughter and after they showed every character I was like I want more of that guy I want to know more about what they're doing in my mind there's five main players here are my five main characters you have Carole Baskin who represents big cat rescue and basically pizza the pizza side of this whole thing on her husband's power Baskin A. K. A. actual slave Joe exotic is the owner and operator of G. W. zero out of Oklahoma his two husbands are John Finley that's just not a ruler alert neither gay a little bit yeah touch a touch I know it's okay basking in jail the other three I think our bag of van A. K. doc Antle the owner operator of myrtle beach safari then you have Rick Kerr come who is the producer and the guy that basically falls Joe exotic around for a couple years producer Joe exotic TV he is the the most normal out of everyone but also I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth no not at all and in the final main player I think is Jeff Lowe A. K. A. the bandanna businessman on his spouse is Lauren Lowe who is like twenty five years his junior and that's a big theme in here to a lot of creeps not only do these people love big cats they let all else is thirty years younger than the reefs thank you and that we have a massive supporting cast and this is mostly employees of GW's you but we'll get to it yeah John ranking is the manager he's like your main go to guy for Joe long long hair yeah no no no no no yeah I'm glad there's the other guy John rank is there right guy with with with no legs but the best thing about it and the whole time you're like he lost his legs the big cats no it was implying I alert one accident Kelsey south south free she's the female with one arm what she did lose what a crazy about it you went back to work in three or four days seven days she didn't want to be a new story in seven days what a great employee she's an animal keeper at G. W. zero and then you have ever used Justin but droid of the eighteen give her calling who's the long haired fellow who you were talking okay yep yep the head keeper at G. W. zero you have Sylvia coracle whose the Oklahoma news reporter that kind of yeah yeah Tim stark is the head of wildlife in need I think he's the guy from Ohio with the monkey that's Tim stark you have Joshua dial who is Joe's campaign manager you have James Gerritsen who's the fat strip club guy yeah he has the single worst airport I have ever seen he literally looks like if the Chucky doll grew up he does and put on four hundred pounds Alan Glover is Jeff lows handy man the guy the tear drop tattoo that he brings in later on yeah Dylan passage is Joe's third husband it's it's it's his new new husband also super young R. Larry Rhodes is the Gavin county Oklahoma sheriff and then we have mark Thompson who is the head of security for GW's you so that's the main supporting cast again what is that twelve thirteen fourteen players there as a flying carriers have little role even though the good people are sort of ridiculous no they're all ridiculous it is just crazy I think every supporting person that you mentioned because they all work at the zoo or like the big sanctuary they all either make no money or one hundred dollars a week to work twelve hour days we live in trailers we'll get to that because that I think that makes old baloney from Walmart that's what kinda distinguishes I think Carolyn Jo Ann and my my what makes Carol worse and she's basically using these volunteers and working them harder than Joe workers all workers it's crazy anyway also has the exact same like she needs to have those big cats around her and then she also made smaller cages she did exactly what Joe did in the nineties and then yes now quote unquote rescues cats in the two thousand and nine after her husband disappeared and she no one says anything to work well except for Joe who made a great song called Kitty Kitty greater here Kitty Kitty right about this track of all time the first episode when he is showing off the gift shop yeah one of my favorite scenes because first off he shows off that he sells loop he's al's underwear and then also he's like yeah this is a DVD of my first album there's twenty eight songs on here and it's sixteen music videos it took four years to produce no all those videos get made in a day what are you talking about you which by the way he does not saying that or do anything in his actual music like he doesn't really talk to Jackson know what I'm saying fori CD's I saw him singing oh sure it's no it's not for sure is some very sure it's not absolutely yes how much money do you want to wager on this seven dollars seven dollars it is yeah you will find out on Tuesday everyone tweet at us right now Max immediate or Max right I saw again are five main players here Carole Baskin Joe exotic doc Antle Rick Arkham Jeff well they're the ones that played the the biggest of roles in this documentary good you want to run through the gauntlet fun factor this was a ton of fun hi at the end of every single episode and they did a great job because they could have either have made this a three hour documentary which is way too long or they said let's take our time let's do seven episodes of forty five minutes by the way I watch this I ripped it through exactly six and a half hours and I thought that every episode was needed I did think it went on a little too long at the end but I didn't care I had such a fun ride with this yeah I so I started watching this on a Saturday night I think I watch too maybe started the third episode fell asleep I woke up the next day and all I did was watch the next four five apps yeah I blasted through this as well and I think those first two or three episodes give you so much that you buy into the back and the back end is a little slower I guess what probably brings it down from I also said he died document for me but I also send my son to know how everything ends up so yeah it's it's sort of worth it but the fun factor here each thing you get introduced to moving along in the first half of the story is more ridiculous than the last man yes we are dealing with caged wild animals there is well what is a real war no one should have those pets ever yeah there's no one to root for hall I might about a tiger it's a baby right now it's gonna be cute for after that said you get over that ten minutes into this thing because you realize they're all involved in this big cat game yeah and so when you when you take that out of the equation you do start to pick sides here at least I did assume your and I think that is why this documentary is so good is because they don't force your one direction or the other they just lay out the facts and I ultimately chose a side so fun factor for me was awesome it was through the roof satisfactory it's pretty satisfying I wouldn't say it's like the most ultimate satisfying satisfactory thing because there's no real conclusion to it it's still going on and they're actually in talks of making a sequel series a sequel docu series to it slash the gonna make more stuff with it so we'll see yeah there's no huge pay off now I think that was sort of a bit of a let down in the final couple episodes there's no huge pay off but again if this isn't cinematic it's a real story and there's hardly ever huge pay off especially when the legal system gets involved so in terms of satisfactory it was good not great boron better was this boring like I said a little bit towards the end there were some text of it but I was really invested the first like four and a half five episodes like laser focus I agree in episode six and seven good basically just has to get in information that's relevant to that yes story and it's not as interesting as the first few episodes because the first few episodes everything that happened in the past so once you catch up to current times it's a little less inspiring but again you can't blame it's above the are quieter and easier for Halloween what will it we will my interest go down over time ab so lute ly oh really what's gonna happen is this is going to be the most memes thing most talked about thing everyone gonna do this for Halloween costumes ever going to obsess over it I'm gonna hate this by the end of the year I'm the opposite I think short of the tiger abuse well I don't wanna make excuses for that Joe exotic is one of my favorite characters of all time on every level so let's unpack VQ for the under twenty twenty yeah which exotic but your first pac AB my first overall pick and they'll be more than my name's Marsden from sonic the best part about it is he's like a real life wrestler every single time thanks he's either promoting himself reporting someone else down and it's an incredible ability I don't know how someone has the wherewithal to do that it's absolutely incredible hot dog song I don't want to hello you targeted American two party we rate everything on a forty hot dog rating system back I had so much fun with this I ripped right through every character was so interesting they filled out every minute of this and I was intrigued for almost all of it Joe exotic is a.

means that everything the big fat guy with the red hair on the jets he he's on there too so these are just all over the place like I think the idea of cameo is smart and it's and it's a works for sure but like every time I ever thought about like us joining it I think about these people on there and that's what stops me from doing it you know it's like Josh you would dial the campaign manager for Joe exotic when he ran for Oklahoma governor is also on there but that is amazing I love these guys that I just mentioned these six apple what do you think it's the most requested doc and dental bye bye yeah hi far yesterday I would say doc Antle probably first Jeff hello second now thank you John Finley said second I think John Finley is second yeah but it is does he fix that I know that was a that is the bad part thank you bye with that you are and what else but he could still be shirtless with his nipple rings poke it out with all those times you know the amazing thing about his teeth is the fact that I told you somebody tweeted some aptly tweeted that that dentist that did that gets gets the Heisman Trophy for teeth for being able to fix that guy's mouth it's incredible I'm looking at the picture now with those teeth it's a it looks like a totally different guy but I don't I don't think that helps this cameo I mean I really I really don't but if you did have a shared out with the nipple rings and all the tattoos I think that that would be a good thing do you think that Jeff close third on this hour now I just look at it is like mom I guess Jeff flow would be third but the guy gets ski if the jet skis in it and he pulls up on the jet ski and that's it maybe probably not doing that this is John with the things Joshua dial probably has had zero requests who would yeah what yeah I know there's absolutely no way yeah I'm with ya and adequate and in the one who lost her arm I think people would just you know check her out for the arm thing I said is that is what people would do that like I will go with the girl with the one arm and then we'll see her with her one arm in the thing which is just it's sick but I guarantee here that probably help Sir cameos I forgot that I was on the jet ski that is a tremendous photo he's using the right picture for cameo yeah without a doubt James garrison I mean when they play they played I of the tiger and had him in slow motion on that jet ski he's a big fat guy with his a life vest on and he's some glass in his ears hello and then things like term director to terror Terence did was flying by I laughed out loud when I saw that I might like what did they pay for that because they had to pay you for using eye of the tiger well yeah I would I would think it's more expensive than that could be plated in a movie like that well of course I'm sure was but he was the perfect whatever it was it was worth it because that was like one of the greatest scenes not for the fact that that what I love about that is we're all laughing at this numb skull but he thinks he's the coolest guy on earth with that jet ski he really thinks he's a badass yeah this is that was tremendous I got a request one of these people I'm gonna have to do it I'm gonna have to get a cameo from one of them I don't know who I'm going to pick one phone plan it's definitely an idea Jeff low eight I can't like I still think you probably have thousands of people are requesting them because people are not so for this thing but I have to I'm not I'm not gonna pick him out of all these people I'm not sure exactly because that is why this is why these people make money is the same reason why you you need to do this I don't know why you want to waste your money on this is now based in a money if I'm get enjoyment out of it you know that's the thing I'm paying for entertainment I'm happy to pay for entertainment and if I've got the you know I don't want to do doc Antle either because apparently he's you know Berrien tiger cubs and stuff I couldn't use them I wouldn't have the the conscious to be able to do that man I don't know how to pick one of these also tweeted out a little bit later today all my feet along those lines on cameo now right he's donating the money we talked about that right he is yeah so he's got he's the one who sent me that that screen grab that I said she with all the tiger king guys man that's that's great what's good for Pete Alonso of course always tiger King losers around they're making money at least people on those donating his let's go to to finish up on the phones here will go to Mike in Allentown was going on Mike how are you man your window tool more boats but we sort of don't care it might get boring she'll man listen first mobile my want to save some time to get a poster that former bodyguard poster the one dollar Twitter yeah all right thank you why not let me tell you something I want to enjoy whatever's left of the summer that's going to start so if people don't want to social distances still continue to go out I got a whole new game plan to block the informal configure this one out you know when you're flying into JFK and you see those little remote islands as you drive in it as you're flying over to put all those people Rowen damage to guess why even to the new reality show call Gilligan's island part to figure it out and you got the body they will use one all right that's the first thing I want to know is what is it with Mike and Twitter it's like that kid that just found that new Christmas so he opens it up he's like the foremost authority on politics in corona virus do give me a break he's got about as much chance as knowing anything this Chris Russo has about teaching a third grade English class right now I mean really I mean washy and social distance and when he you guys on Monday peace out I see a Michael Jackson here us on Saturday six PM yes so here's two six PM and then again on Monday will be back but yeah I mean I was I was laughing at that whole thing yesterday with Mike it's a my video got two point four million views that's never gonna happen again after this viral video of him saying something needs to be in a half million views all over the news and all the attention I don't want this to happen what I don't don't get media attention just blew my mind but anyway that's for another day I don't feel like talking about him because it makes me ill all right time for a radio dot com sports minute here is boomer.

"Come out see anything on the twitter right now. Because it's April fool's dude okay. Okay yes yes I can hear I can hear the keyboard clicking in the back fevers cooking the key for us. Okay don't do that okay. All right it's tough corruption on. How old are you? I'm I'm twenty six. I thought it was joke that you can joke about a lot of things have been a lot of corona virus. Jokes could have made. Don't joke about college. Football being being postponed games being cancelled. Boy Oh boy never again. Ooh Gotcha like that really gets you there for a second yes. I was scrolling through the old twitter. Trying to figure out what's going on no one's talking about. I follow like every single person who ever talks about college football. I follow like there's nothing coming up. Cbs Sports told directly. Be I was the first person to break that. We ought to put this podcast so right now breaking news. Oh boy good stuff. Do you have any areas where you think you could maximize your betting potential due to the virus? I think you just nailed it. Any team going up against the first year head coach. He got a hammer. Any team If there starts to be some things maybe like in like fall camp in August itself that hey guys just look in shape. They didn't take their all offseason workouts very seriously. They didn't take their homework. Is Very seriously that you've got a hammer against any of those teams and then I think the teams that are led by the perennial great head coaches Sabin. Sweeney Coach L. I think I think those teams are teams. That are going to be just fine so I wouldn't be surprised if in the first few weeks of the season especially we see a lot of Lopsided Games just because of coaching matchups and all that stuff. Yeah I think I think any first year head coach is a guy you want to bet against. I got to okay especially early. Fade I your head coaches We said number two also especially early. I am all about corona virus unders because if we see seems a rusty. They haven't had enough time that too but I think the bigger issue is offensive. Linemen we have not. We have no idea how they're working out. How they're getting other getting ripped. You gotTA gotTa be pretty strong. And they're not I mean if they're not sure how many of them have personal equipment at their house. I saw some people are pushing cars but I think that as gives her a major advantage for the defensive line and linebackers ready to just destroy the quarterback destroy running backs and I think the defensive line has the edge in Corona virus game. Okay I like La Thinking all right. Don't think about I like it. Put Neil tickner file. Yeah ooh that sounds suspicious. Yeah yeah it does okay. Talks from Tiger King. Oh do I ever look forward to this all day? Okay yes I put a lot of work into this too My entire day. So if you have not seen tiger king in afflicts at this point what the hell which I believe is quarantine law number. One ordered by the government. Get on that if you haven't done so you'll probably get some prison time if you haven't so to put our old college football the Spin on it. We're taking care just from tiger king which by the way incredible characters. Yes you do not find characters like these anywhere else any other. You couldn't cast like these type of characters and these are real people. It's sale so comparing them to different college. Football people places and things and head start. I'm going to start with Jeff Lowe. Jeff Jeff Jeff. Oh He's bobby between. Oh Okay we have the same one damage. This this was the this was the first thing. I thought of him during the documentary. And this is Bob Right here. Yeah they're both major slime balls you know just just by looking at Jeff. Do the slime ball did this. Come back Both major slime balls. Thought they were going to fix a failing institution so that was my first thing. And the Second Lady Issues Nigh Net or are you still sticking up between retreated my second my second lake. Comp is they both just have lady issues. Galore Jeff lows. Got This like this. Was his wife or girlfriend. They got pregnant. I I'm not sure regardless that regardless of what it is yeah I am. I'm not confident that relationships last very long. Yeah he is partner in it for the long then hired a really good-looking nanny and Do is just a just a scumbag so I'm glad that we were both on the same page as soon as it was. I didn't think Bobby between what I saw Jeff Law but when you sent me like what we're doing in the segment that was the first thing that part of my head I was like Jeff. Lewis Bob Patrizia. The and if you haven't seen tiger king you do not want to be Jeff. Oh No that's one of the most evil people ever seen in my life s just just by a trio Jeff Loye guy you do not want. Yeah I do you gotta you gotTa Watch your back and these guys around. Exactly you'll steal your girl he'll steal Anybo- you'll screw anybody over who stands in their way you know and the entire sole right from your entire body. Yeah and like. I said they could do it both out. They'RE GONNA fix failing programs so Jeff Lothar. He's GonNa take this sue or he thinks he's going to. He's still trying to do it. Apparently take this zoo in in in rebuild it and potato. Kinda thought the same thing with our Kansas. So bad leaders cannot be trusted by their own wives and by the way five between. Oh His last year at Louisville team never covered the spread. Not once not a guy you on your side. It's Jeff Loye Jeff. Low is by training next. Because it's funny. We had this exact same on. Okay I'M GONNA go with on Obamacare to Sean. Yeah I have one for them. You want me to name a character. Yeah okay Carol Baskets Kill Baskin. Okay I do have one for Carol. Baskin Carol Baskin Very Loyal. Very loyal people following her in inside the organization. She's a leader of people. Leave a lot of people inside the program. Everyone's like you know what this is. This is the first we had to look up to inside the community. That's what people are thinking however as the years. Go on Sean. We're trying up. What's possibly could have been some sketchy business Not exactly sure how. Well history will look back in. These people may not look at them the same way for years to come Mike Carroll Baskin. There's GonNa be controversial Joe Paterno. Oh Oh yeah okay Joe Paterno Oh. Everybody attends community. Loves THEM OUTSIDE? It's like I don't know what did you know you have? No idea and Carol Baskin like the big thing with her. Did she. Murder her husband and feed him to tighten not sure. Yeah sure seems like it but Joe Paterno did. He didn't do the wrong doings. But what did you know about Jerry Sandusky? So I'm about lasko. Asking is my job attorney. I'm about as confident that carol biscuits murdered a husband and federal tigers as I am that were having a college football season. Seventy seven I ten. Do you want to do you want me to give you my Carol Baskin's cop okay. Could what real dark here? I texted you and I said how. Can we get started? Go dark so that on the record. Don't even say that one. I decided to be a good guy. I went Mike Leach Mike Leach oh Mike Leach also has crazy. Followers like people love Mike Leach. Like people Zoo and everybody's been people. Just buy into like the Mike Leach hype. He says some Kooky weird stuff like would you be surprised if when he was at Washington state. They were the cougars right cougars. Would you be surprised if you like? Started a press conference or PEP rally by saying like hey all you cool cats and kittens. No that is right up. Mike Leach's alley. They both say some really weird stuff. Has Mike Leach ever killed somebody? I don't know would you? Would you be surprised? Though if we found out that Mike Leach killed somebody I would not be. He seems like the weird type of dude. Who would they have that whole thing with Craig? James's son relied locked him in the shed for a little bit. Yeah exactly crazy guy. And so that was my biggest cop without going super super dark. Was Mike Leach. Just because they both say some really weird stuff. They're kind of crazy. People that love Mike Leach really love Mike Leach. Really buy into it so I wouldn't make leach interesting. Yeah the all the pretty lovable guy for one of the least lovable people in the entire show. I just went because of the things they say now because of who they are as people think Mike Lee is a great person. They both say some weird stuff interesting next on your head. You put me in a corner when he said I can go super dark okay. I'M GONNA go Joshua dial in order. Josh is the Campaign Manager Manager for okay go exotic because fantastic by the way what are the generally good people in the thing. Nobody's doing as I wonder if he's like like some campaign manager for some. I don't know some small like mayor or something who knows I said Paul Chryst One of the only truly good people in their business Paul. Chris is a really good person as well as coach but also kind of boring. They're both just. There's there there really do a whole lot so definitely a very very forgettable character. Yes I very very forgettable. Exactly there you go. You even said his name Correct Yeah Campaign Manager Guy. What I would've know who you're talking about but yeah I like that one a lot thank you. I will go with scrolling on the list here. Joe Exotic yes. Joe EXOTIC BASICALLY THE STAR. I would say of the entire documentary. Basically a lot is based on him very charismatic center of attention. Love that attention Sean. Yup Joe Exotic loves himself some attention but seems like whenever the goats off and especially the time like the time when he ran for president and the time ran for governor just seems a struggle in the biggest moments. Yep cannot get over get over the hump. Oh I like this unless you guess who this one is. Is it Harbaugh? It's Jim? He talks a lot. Charismatic gets himself on. Tv says a whole lot of stuff rows up the troops and he cannot beat Ohio State. He cannot beat any rate teams. You can't do anything on the Road Jim. Harbaugh is my joe exotic all right. You hear my Joe Exotic and this is probably pretty probably pretty easy and let me out my case before you go crazy on me. Joe Exotic sorry. I was going crazy.

"Fangs. On one day I went out to open up the mailbox and it just exploded with snakes. How could I? I don't know how she functioned. I don't either. This is Kinda WANNA terrified. You know when you said her name to me and I said empowered. I didn't mean it like she's my hero or that. She is the protagonist. As if you as you said. But she sure could. She shared a backbone. Dan Richey did. But then there's the whole story of her second husband or her first husband. Don Do you think that always crack up that his name was something done? I don't think so. I think I don't know. I mean like evidence that they presented to us in the documentary. Sure seems like she did. But that's one perspective but it's the way they presented it. He says how they structured it. Here's what happened. There were we. Didn't we don't know. And then you have all these guys like Joe Exotic Anto Guy and and all these other guys who probably are getting all their information from Joe saying I heard this. I heard this so if you're hearing it's a bunch of men right saying. She Fed her husband to tigers. And I'm seeing a bunch of men. I'm not trying to say that women because maybe SAF or other women felt the same way. It's just that it again. It felt like a It was their perspective possibly based on no evidence except their storytelling and so the way. The documentary takes it. Is You just take that is true? Where if you were to look through I read an article this morning about caroline. You look through the facts of the case. There's a possibility that the only weird thing was the van parked at the airport right or maybe the only way. I don't think there's a whole bunch of really positive clean. Police work going on with any of these things. Yeah I don't know what happened care less about Carol. Yeah how is she different than what the other two guys are doing? Okay so based on what I watched the difference is. She's not breeding or selling these animals. She considers the sanctuary to be more of a retirement home for these animals who have been. Doesn't she have a bunch of cubs there? I don't think so I I don't know I know. It seemed like it was all the same. The cubs were an Antle Joe Exotic and whoever else has animals thing and they did that to make money. Because that's how they brought in people to they wanted to peddle Manhattan but she supposedly what they tell us did not and one of the things they said is. There's this scene where she's videotaping this long. Line of people who are coming into the sanctuary and she says that's a one time of year. Oh event where she? There's a name for it where she allows people to come see these animals in retirement so some people come and get tours or the volunteers help with the The animals but I don't think it's not a zoo. You know what I mean. Do they have these animals to Gawk at? She is trying to give them a place to be because they've been raised domestically or however you want to say it. There's more tigers what it was the Steiger's in captivity than out in the wild. That's nuts that's nuts and I guess if they're raised in captivity you can't put them in the wild is that were that they couldn't right okay so anyways. I don't know so in answer to your question about her husband or the difference. This is what I've come to understand but do I think that she benefits like why do I do? I think that all of her intention and everything she's doing is on the up and up. It doesn't feel like it but what do I. I don't know I think she thought going into this documentary. Though it was about her good work. Last Guy could just have an open. This is the campaign manager. Dial was JOE's campaign manager for about a year and a half. It was worse experience in my life. War horrible horrible. Just that statement like why. I couldn't go back Walmart late. You know there's something attractive to these people. Something attracts them to this. Chaos family in connection purpose belonging wonder of Joshua. The campaign manager has a family somewhere. I don't know and this is why the poor guy witnessed somebody shooting themselves in the head. Oh God that scene was the worst that was in? You know what we were so grateful because our daughter whose twelve had been watching kind of on and off and she chose to nod after a while and then that scene happened and we were like. Oh my God. It's it's traumatic view. Somebody else viewing that act. So Travis who was Joe's second husband young kids like nineteen initially when they met sounds like he was a meth addict. He definitely had In in something again according to the documentary it sounds like Joe told him. I will continue to buy you what you need. If it'd be drugs or an AV or a jeep or truck or whatever and sew travis was getting these like kind of surface level needs met but he was really loved his guns and he often threatened people with his guns and he struggled obviously emotionally himself is that it goes without saying and he just shot himself while they were taping. Now you don't see him. You see the reaction of. What's Joe? Dial Josh Josh that I want to Josh Basket. Because that's him for and I'm calling everyone gel is everybody's job everyone. His name is something. Dial Joshua Dial Joshua die. Yeah so anyway. You see this scene. That Josh was set up for you through narration. Where he's talking to Travis and Travis was messing around with a gun and then just shot himself in the head and you see an I. It was really interesting the way the Joshua talks about it because he puts his hands to his head and he starts yelling at them. Kinda like you can't hear it. You just see his mouth moving and he's like it doesn't happen the way it doesn't movies you don't think it's real. Yeah you can't and I'm guessing the graphic nature correct you know. In the movies guys falls autumn falls asleep. I now? I'm sure it's a lot different than that. I know and it was. It was brutal and that was you know. Say whatever you want about Joe Joe. At least believed he loved. Travis Moore thought he was taking care of Travis. There could have been a little more father son thing going on in that marriage no And he was appeared to be pretty devastated and broken by it. I feel like a lot changed after that. Yeah well he had a bunch of you know bottoming out and now he's in jail so I'm sure he's at a new bottom but oh that phone call when he's like I gotta get Outta here. That just gave me a pit in my stomach new. I don't care who you are even if you've made poor choices in your life that sometimes these like I don't wish that kind of pain on anybody it just so we have about fifteen minutes left. Okay if we want. Is there anything specific that you would like to cover? Well I don't know I guess it's just I feel like I've said the the biggest things just that for me as I was. You know my experience with watching a show like this. I think sometimes especially right now during the pandemic we're kind of looking for people who have it more difficult I used to say all the time that win win. I historically have been struggling or I'm having a hard time. I would watch lot of law and order because I felt like you know the people go into rikers. We're having a harder time than I was And I think this kind of feels that way that right now because we're in such uncertain and challenging times. It's there's something that it's a relief that we don't have to go through what these people are going through. It might give us comic relief at some points but also like not like the kind of like we feel sorry for them or we're glad we're not them. I don't know I I mean I don't know I I'm still wrapping my head around my experience of watching it. Sure and I think. And they're supposedly there's going to be like in the second season. Yeah but apparently that I feel like they've rushed the ended. It was weird like I don't. I don't have any suggestions on how to make it better. But the last episodes like it was just ended with a thud. And I think the making of a murder which I thought was the most impressive documentary I've ever seen and that ended in an interesting way as well. They brought it back for a second season but very few people I think. Watch the second season so I'll be curious to see how many of us are invested into even remember. We watched it last night. But what's the Thud? Remind me? Obviously we have the the goes to jail. Joe Got into a no Joe Jeff. Jeff Gotten a new partnership with other with other keeper of exotic cats and they started making the new zoo closer to the Casino in Texas bail. Then that guy. Yeah Monkey Guy Shirt. We all have monkeys in her shirt. Don't we Keep stop right there. This is something I want to look at these people. The love that they want from these animals like they they they make a point. I feel like in a month. Maybe I could do a better job talking through the psychological sociological elements of the show. I haven't integrated it yet. But they make a point of saying how you feel when you're with tiger you feel more powerful. The reason people want pictures with tigers is because they feel more powerful they were saying that there is a significant number of people on social networking especially spaces like tinder and grinder. That people pose with tigers. That's their picture. So what is that telling us about? Why people are doing that. They're trying to find their own sense of power through these animals have for themselves rags yet it through some other some wildcat and if you are best friends with a lion you feel better about who you are if you have a month. Lewis gave you a lion right. Nah I don't I.

"Little little little up. Sweetie Lamar run the Joe. Let him run the jungle or roll a little little contradictory Joe or the small zoos. All right my name's Todd Adams. Welcome back to the other. Part of pop culturing. Wow I don't even know where to begin. Why do we decide to do tiger king sweetheart well because we watched it because we were a little speechless after several episodes every episode and also because we noticed that everybody being home enduring pandemic Twenty twenty is watching Tiger King for some reason I wanted. I wanted to talk about. Maybe why not only are we gonNA talk about the show but why we're so interested in this? I have some thoughts. Good good good so bring those up okay. Good way through. This is how we're GONNA structure. Okay let's hear were. I'm going to say somebody's name. Okay you give me one word description and then we're going to go through each person with a little more depth one word tie. That's impossible you know me. I don't speak one word best. Okay Joe Exotic Sad. Carol Basket. Well I got to put a little. She feels empowered. I'm not saying. She is empowered. Which I think she's empowered. Okay so empowered. Would that be your word? I guess but I wanted to put that disclaimer at the beginning okay. I can't pronounce this one. But I'll do my best bug. Yvonne Yeah Baga von and Ller I can. It's his name's cutoff. What is this guy? He's the guy with the other zoo. Opole is a pull his name right now. And annely A. N. T. Ellie Boban animal. Whatever you know guy the guy with the the fact that he calls himself a bag on which he's a which he thinks he's like guru for all the people yes was his word he's a God. What would I say about him? he he had not narcissist. What's the word I'm looking for? He believes himself to be his own rule of maker. Like he's he doesn't think things apply to him. Yes he's he's doing. He knows what he's doing narcissistic would not be an appropriate word. Because it's like I'm narcissistic but don't put me in the same categories this guy. Oh you're not narcissistic I have. We all have moments of nurses sure but a true narcissist and. I don't know what that is. Yeah that's like a clinical description but anyway he just he he thinks he's like narcissism is to comment a word to describe this guy. Well I mean he. He has many wives. He thinks that's fine. He doesn't treat his employees well. Or at least the and we'll get into. This show tells us that there are. He's a again. Allegedly he is saying one thing and then he is killing tigers in the. I mean he's like a complete. What's the word I don't know he's contradictory? He's a for the record. Everything is allegedly to be safe on this show because we don't know we watch the show. That's all we do. We're who are going to talk about. Talk about an almost like their fictional characters. Just so we don't have to say allegedly every time okay Howard basket you know. He's a trip. That's all I have to say about him and okay. He loves his wife. John Finley. Who is shirtless? John was interesting to me. I felt like I had met John before somewhere. In a past life John was John was lonely which is why he married Joe in the first place because his name is Joe Exotic because we come to find out the John's like no. I'm not gay. Okay it's so interesting Rick Kirkum. Who's the the documentary? The beginning tend to be he was. Kinda voice throughout the first five or six episodes. I almost want to be like euro oblivious. Even though I know Pe- you know when you're starting that documentary you WanNa be like. He's the guy in control. He knows what's going on but I also think he was careless. I also think his choice A lot of choices were really careless and he ended up losing all of his material. And that's how do you want me to die don't but he So the next guy. We talked about the cinematographer documentarian who smokes the cigarette and drinks the coffee with the blackout and trip to just call them every time you say any of their names. I'll say they're a trip this trip. There is a lot of trips here. I'm he- that Rick Guy got into trouble. He's to be an inside edition right and he got into trouble. That there's a whole documentary. Made about him right because he got involved with drugs and the allude to his history. A little bit. Yeah but weirdly. He was the guy that was making the most sense initially. But that's what I mean. I don't remember what episode it was. Where he kinda lost everything. You can't add on no. There's many different depending on which episode your on you see these people in. Different Lights Sweetie. What about Jeff Low? While Jeff Low seems to be the IT feels like at the end the villain. Yeah right I would say conniving. That would be my word thing right word. A few others Joshua dial he is the campaign man. Oh my God. He's a trip because the okay. We laughed about this the reason he's a trip because he looks normal. He talks normal but he does abnormal things. Like how can you think that being a campaign manager of Joe Exotic is a good idea? Well this is how he starts explaining. He said Joe came to me to be his campaign manager at the time I was working at Walmart selling guns and selling bullets and when he said be my campaign manager. I realized that was my alternate goal. That's what I wanted to do and I'm like wait. Yeah Backtrack Yeah how? How did you know that? Why was that your ultimate goal and to your point todd like he unfortunately. I think like a lot of not a lot but some campaign managers. Do he focused on the wind rather than what he was doing. The process because you know in the in the gubernatorial race Joe Exotic came in third. He did which is a problem. So many characters in this James Garretson. He is kind of the round faced guy. Who was the informant okay? I feel like he's a cartoon cartoon came and and at the end. How about that whole little that part where? He's on the jet ski and they're playing. I have tiger woods. What's happening and he's villain too. Because it's almost like the documentarian were were so used to seeing these people who are not an abnormal that they started like why what what's with the jet skiing. The Tiger thing like I feel like they like how about we just put him on a Jetski and play the rocky saw. How about now? I think instead of saying they got used to these people who are abnormal. They got used to this world. Yes and they like. I don't know much about. I don't know if you looked up stuff about the people who made this movie. I don't know much about them. Except the fact that this movie was made only because they were originally doing a whole study of people who keep and sell snakes yeah and then in that process they realized people also keeping Sell Tigers. So this was a total roundabout way and how to get here. I mean it's like the universe says I got an idea and I'm GonNa pull in all these people together and somehow connect and the fact that they have so much footage I know they have footage of everything. I mentioned to you the other night that this is a wonder podcast. So for those of you who listen to podcasts. Wandry also did you know dirty John and I think wondering did Dr Death and a lot of these major storytelling podcasts. And they did this and I don't know how you and I missed it. We're like podcast people but so they you know a lot of people are like we've already heard a lot of these interviews and stuff. We know this story but the fact that they have so much footage but todd at the beginning I think in the first one Joe Exotic says I told my staff to always keep the camera's running. He sure did and they did all the time through good and bad even when Cologne was put on his shoes to Ellen Glover. My my word is scary. He was the Hitman. The suppose it hit me. Oh Yeah Yeah Allen Glover with the tier under his I yeah he was upon. He was a piece of the puzzle and I don't think he understood his role. Yeah that's my take What about Dylan passage? See I I have a little soft spot for Dylan Dylan Dylan is Joe's current husband. The younger kid right and I think if I remember correctly from the last episode we saw when Joe Realized and again who knows if this is done in the right order but when Joe realized that he was going going to stay in prison he was on the phone with Dylan and Dylan said something to the effect of. I can't do this anymore now. I don't know if that was taken out of context or if that's really the truth I don't know where Dylan is now. But he was just like a young kid innocent and looking to anybody exactly. He needed a lot of these men are. Who are you going to talk about the other Guy Travis? He's he's on here so Joe's other so at some point Joe was trying to emulate his Who He considered his mentor. The I keep wanting to call them the Bagua on but that's not his name. What's his name? We can call his last. Name's Antle okay. The antle he wants to his mentor. He wants to be like him. Because antle had many wives.

"I'm Jeff Priscilla this is anything is possible and we're talking a pastor Chris Brooks the senior pastor of Woodside Bible church pastor welcome a real honor to have this is such an honor to be here Jack so so privileged to be here and to welcome all of my friends throughout the metro Detroit area can you start by leaving us an opening for not be happy to do so father thank you for life thank you for the good gifts you give of hope and forgiveness and love and restoration we thank you for this season we pray that there will be no heavy heart the lord they each one would know the joy of your presence the friendship of others in the hope that you have for our future blesses now in Christ's name we pray amen you grew up in Detroit Chris Brooks are there talked to us about your childhood and your mom and your dad you know I was born into a Christian home and I'm grateful for it dad was a teacher at one of the historic high schools here and in the Detroit area Cass tech high school many have graduated from Cass tech and going on to do phenomenal things my dad taught there for twenty seven good years in the old building on the sixth floor way in students have to run their way up to class with just a few minutes to spare mom was in the business world shoes in telecom when telecom was all the rage throughout the eighties and nineties and so I'm kind of the product Jack of a school teacher and a business woman and from that developed a passion myself for for business developed a passion myself for education and I think that's what led me into pastore ministries but my childhood alive many Detroit kids was a phenomenal childhood we didn't have much growing up but we have one another and we enjoyed the community and neighborhood that we lived in we were on the west side of your choice school craft and evergreen area is where we lived and god got was good unfortunately when I was young appearance like many others went through a divorce but you know I had a unique thing Jack even though mom and dad went through a divorce they never spoke ill of each other and I think that was an important part of my childhood because it allowed me to be able to appreciate both of them without having any sense of cynicism as I got older I understood more of the narrative but I will say that I'm grateful that I was able to have a relationship that was strong with both mom and dad you surrender your life to Christ at age thirteen I did why and how so you know it's interesting question I as I say I was raised in a Christian family but I didn't grow up without my all doubts I have plenty of doubts and questions about god in about Christianity about morality how can this thing be true where so much evil is suffering in the world how can this be true when there's so many other religions in the world I remember being in high school at the time I went to high school and I was twelve and it's thirteen as a sophomore I had an English professor who was an open agnostic the question everything and it was a Greek mythology class and you know how classrooms are set up to teachers a sage on the stage he is the one who everyone has to respect and so what he says is true and he question Christianity and so did die and someone and that to this day I can't remember who gave me a little book from Josh McDowell it's called more than a carpenter and I read that book twice over and he gave me answers to the questions that existed in the young man's heart you gave me reasons to believe that Christ was worth following also was privileged to be able to at that time be attending the church with my mom in the youth ministry where I had a real encounter with the living Christ and so my life has been transformed since all right if you started high school at twelve you graduated in fifteen and while your high school you were sharing your faith you were already evangelizing to your eighteen year old classmates yeah well I was passionate now stressing about price from the moment that I met him and begin to share Christ with friends family members loved ones now what's interesting and people shouldn't be surprise when this happened the initial response was was skeptical people wondered suspicious of whether or not this type of change of heart was real and I lost friends before our game them but I have friends that came back and I'm grateful for that cool story is is that I actually came to Christ at Disney world Jack it was on a family vacation I've been reading the Joshua dial but going to youth ministry and laid on a pull out couch and hotel time share at Disney world Jess off property all of it came together for me and lay next to me in that pull out couch bed was my older brother and he saw me get on my knees on the side of the bed and said what's going on last year Christ with him my older brother became my first convert to this day we serve Christ together serve our community as faithfully as we can but high school was a good time for me to share my faith how was it you chose a vocation to be a minister you know that came after I spent time professionally in the financial services industry but I think that it really boiled down to this for me both my love for Christ and my observation of how best to impact our community in a positive way you know growing up in Detroit one of the things that's been true since the civil rights here even prior to visit churches been the epicenter for our community Hey still is true today it's where so many in our communities are when they need medical advice or financial advice or legal advice it's all there I saw that through the charge we could do the maximum good but also still to this day I believe the greatest decision a person can make is to have a real relationship with Christ themselves because of those two passions that I.
