"Not a type of Piston. It's a form So I would explain it this way. I would say that there are people that there are people that look at a pile of wood and nails and they know what to do with that. There are people that look a canvas. And they've already designed the painting. There are people that look look at scraps of material and they've already got a patchwork quilt put together in mind. There are people that look at a bunch of ingredients and know what to use and how much to use in order to form a perfect recipe and so my definition of creativity over the years has become this it. Creativity is your personal. Creativity is found in whatever you look at and see potential in you. I GOT GOOSEBUMPS. Actually have goosebumps. That's a good statement. Because you're a paid that statement place so your personal creativity will be found in whatever you look at it and see potential in and examples of that more examples of that is some people look at people and they see huge potential. Which means that creativity lies in working with people. All people do that with music. Shore people do that with art show but they also do a whole lot of practical things. People do engineering all the time. They're incredibly creative. Accountants are incredibly creative. People they look at numbers and occasions and they see potential that I can't even begin to imagine you know it's just not so. I think that every human being is creative. It's just a question of what do you see potential. Now you might think is that it is that all they have is just ten. Highlights scholley their copy anymore than that highlight. That's right ladies and gentlemen way just couldn't cut this down to ten so we decided that we had to include a bonus. We gotta finish finally and this is the last one we promise with the what are they. What do we call him? The the podfather himself the yes the the the absolute mad lad. Okay a podcast all right so in Nineteen Melissa. Eighteen fifty and the White was walking in the woods. She was really wrestling around eighteen fifty. They're trying to figure out the the review and Herald publishing the thing they should do and so she's really seeking a sign from God about what to do. This was the first power transfer from Joseph Bates to the whites. And they're in the forest Casaus something shining and so she walked toward this shine thing and the animals birds quiet. The squirrels were quiet. The carnivorous Kangaroos were quiet. They're they're glowing. It was so hungry so hungry. They are glowing was a haystack. And there was an angel standing the Haystack and said she says what is this. What is this because Taco Salad which is not in the American vocabulary in eighteen and the angel said this is this is actually Mana like this is what the Israelites ate in the Wilderness? Ellen said we got to rebrand this. That sounds really old. We need a hip cool name for this in Angel said what are your end said. Call it a stack of Hay of course over time. "Limpets ca fin idea the concert. That's right. You said that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. West west bore less ball. Yeah. Paint face jolts. Correct. Where the outfits. Yeah. Crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Biscuit in their private doors. Great awesome. Very good in their hard knocks the summer. Yes. Reportedly where we're down to what four teams right for hard knock. Yes, sir. Those teams are the giants. The raiders the lions and the Redskins. Yeah. Who's missing right? What teams missing what I what I would think is out of these teams the team. I'd want to see an hod hod not sounding. I'm the only one on this. I would say the Browns the Browns will be great because of you know, and Beckham Nair, and what may feel so I did last year two years. It's kind of a different dynamic than now. Right different head coaching kitchens. If coaches and stuff, but Brown's out of it. So that's not an our topic. But so Jack giants lions rate is Redskins. I you know, I wouldn't mind the Redskins just because you're big Redskin fan. And it's it'd be fun for us to talk about on the show. I like hard knocks. You don't think it's changed over the years? I still watch a lot. I know you watch it also I would lean towards Pete the by talk more to show he said raiders. And I grew Pete. I would say raiders for my choice. The second for me. Would I would say giants the giants could be pretty pretty interesting. Yeah. I don't. I don't disagree. I think it's raiders. If you're asking me the four the Redskins for me would be entertaining Redskin fan. But. In terms of the personalities as you've got you've got in. The camera guys love the cab rise if God loves the camera very passionate fan base as well. I mean, I think it's I think it's the raiders if you're asking me the team that you'd want on hard knocks. I think it would be the raiders. Plus, it's also not forget here soon going to be in Vegas. Now. It does change things a little bit training camps training camp. I understand that. But still right though. Right. I mean, I I know Dallas doesn't have their training camp in Texas. They're they're out California. So I mean, so it's a it's a little bit different. But I I look at I think for all the personalities in the interest. I think it's the raiders I agree. This one thing I will go to bat for your Redskins on. Yeah. Which I think would be interesting is the join Haskins story rookie quarterback out of Ohio State because she got a veteran quarterback. They're on on that quarterback depth chart. Now Smith, you have got caught McCoy de you got case keenum, you got a lot of quarterback person in that room and in Josh Woodrum, whatever that is. But I know he's on that on that in a quarterback room regardless that quarterbacks story there. I think the way hot nuts editon does what they do. I think they would do an excellent job with that. And you got the Jay Gruden there. The other groups brother, so I just think that could be a pretty pretty good watch. But it's I don't think they done it with the skins right now. I don't think so. No, I mean in the lions. Patricia year to got Stafford number new patriots in there wouldn't be a bad watch. Great argument for any of the four and what I think the sexiest is Oakland. Then I'm gonna agree with you. I think the second most intriguing would be the giants because I've Eli the quarterback and the and get them to write. And that Jeff Gettleman is a another guy loves the camera. Oh, Dan loves the camera. Is that thick Boston accent? He loves to be. He's got strange strange ways of right strange ways of rationalizing out decisions. So I mean, it would be now they did the jets the giants. They did the jets hit the chats remember eating peanut peanut Eminem. Do remember that the pretzel? And that's when Rivas throw vivas was was out was they were trying to renegotiate his deal, and it will who's gonna come back and not and all that jazz. That's I think that's when they did the jets the jets the jet was a good one. It was entertaining jet fem Rex. Rex was entertain. It was gonna boss, I think they have a radius. I mean, all my research and all my intelligence and my y'all by success. I still times not answer certain questions like what this other. Maybe you don't know. Maybe it's rhetorical question. Maybe, you know, the answer of teams getting money get I don't think I don't know that answer for sure. So. HBO? I'm not sure about both. Don't know. I if if I would have to venture guess, I think HBO's got to deal with the NFL for whatever financial money. It is has the teams and in the team separate it out. So back to the radio, I'm with you. I do think the rain is a be in. And Pete say say before the show, I Mike the greatest what would you wanna say in this day? I mean, I kind of move said it would be cool. If I saw he said Redskins giants fan. I'd be. But the raiders to me have the personality that would make it the best. They really do. And when it total Brown. I mean, it's like enough chest the big enough Senate should say just watch him on a precor training shirt. I'm hysterical. Just doing his thing. So we're we're all kind. Yeah. Exactly. Right. We're all in agreement in terms of local. We'll see exactly what that decision is. As you mentioned Cleveland Browns thought it was intriguing because we had a conversation where the jets were running. They're not as right voluntary organized t bacteria these for those that you were following along at home. Right. So when the jets were running those voluntary as voluntary, but sometimes the teams one eight to be involuntary one everyone is show up. Bell did not right for the jets. And and I wasn't gonna scream at holler. Or to give him credit? If he did neither view what would have been a better. Look, we're critical, but weren't gonna die on that hill. How about Beckham junior is gonna show up for the Cleveland Browns? That's that's. Stale organized team activities are getting going today for the Cleveland Browns. Also, he's talked about them being the New England Patriots. He's talked about a fresh start. He's excited about play with his buddy from LSU is best friend juice Landry. He's in Cleveland TASR. He didn't have to be there. No, it's all voluntary. But ode L Beckham junior's going to be participating for the Cleveland Browns. I think that's a great side tip my cap to Beckham. And and that's stuff. That is good stuff. So feel Browns fan you are happy. And you're like, oh, yeah. My man style is excited. Like, you just said he wants we ran his team. And why wouldn't you be? That's what you should be. That's what you should be. If you have that shoe passionate love would bell the jets. I'm still scratching my head about his decision on that. I really am. I I'm just I don't get it. Because this guy didn't play the bulk of the year and was an bulk. Right. And I don't disagree with you. I don't disagree with the bell should've been there TASR, but I'm actually static that Beckham's there for the Brown. I think it's a great. It's really good. Great job by him and his ego. Put aside just go out there and and work on the field. But what do you.

"Winning three two free three two series lead to disaster for what the home team is not won a game in this series. Yeah. That'll change game. Six you think blues close them out of game six the jets and that supported time a home is going to win one of these games. Think I may have to nothing lead going into the third and scored twelve seconds into the game. Right. The score twelve seconds of the game. But have to nothing lead you give up three unanswered goals in the third period. And he'd give up one with fifteen seconds left in regulation at the nineteen Forty-five Mark to lose it. I mean, that's a crushing blow for Winnipeg. And you look at two teams that the sailor was blues where I mean, arguably the hottest team in the NHL going into the postseason. I think there Mark was thirty and five and they're less thirty five games in the regular season. And they've got the Bennington has been unbelievable as a rookie netminder elegant. Winnipeg who got off to that great start strengthen themselves at the NHL trade deadline at Kevin Hayes from from the New York Rangers. And they kinda played the side of the average hockey down the stretch line as an unbelievable power forward. The Finnish player the former number two overall pick. But I mean, I would think at some point in time a whole team's gonna win one of these games. If they didn't win last night to nothing lead at home going into the third blow that game going back to Saint Louis. I mean that is going to be rocking game six the the sharks wanted home forcing a game. Six five two last night over the Golden Knights and the hurricanes went home. They taught the capitals to one that series is to to away from the playoff. The Red Wings reportedly hiring their former player their former captain Steve visor, many as general manager Ken Holland will remain as senior VP the NFL PA released a statement yesterday to remind everyone that the voluntary in voluntary offseason. Workouts means not mandatory Jags exact Tom Coughlin critical of his players. Some of them. For not attending these voluntary workouts this week. Now Moose's team is the latest to dip it to- in the af waters, Washington, adding former Salt Lake City QB Josh Woodrum yesterday, of course, and Browns GM, John it might as well, right? Listen, why not beggars can't be chewed on one's gotta signed Josh Woodrum. That's exactly right. The redskins. I walk outside and Zack Martin sarcastically says to me a Redskins are going to be good this year. And what? What being embarrassment? Yeah. They do that every single year. But yes, I'm glad I'm glad for him. Good choice. You know, hopefully, he's the third string quarterback is the start of the Redskins are going to be in a world of hurt. Yeah. He threw more picks than touchdowns. That's the problem in the AFC. This is an issue. You may want him off the roster by week while I would agree with baseball last night. The Mariners ended their six game skid eleven ten over the angels. They need a Jay Bruce RBI single in the ninth because they blew a ten to lead the os cooled off the raise six five and eleven and the dodgers won in Milwaukee. Three one homers from Cody Bellinger, and max Muncie and Saint John's basketball reportedly finalizing the hire of former Arkansas head coach, Mike Anderson to replace Chris Mullin. Choice eight well that is a strange higher. I mean that is and bogus. You know? College basketball is good as anybody. I mean that is a strange. Hi, I'm telling you that Mike Anderson. A fifty nine years of age can't coach she bring in a guy that has doesn't have experienced UAB. It was a former assistant on Nolan Richardson, Nolan Richardson, staff, Arkansas. You know, the forty minutes at how Clint McDaniel Corey back, you know, those and went to UAB was very. Urban. Yeah. Thurman, number thirty Corliss Williamson, right? I mean, Alex, Dillard, remember him the number three could shoot the ball from the outside. They saw us on Richardson staff at Arkansas went to UAB was successful. There. Went from UAB to Missouri was successful. There went for Missouri. Back to Arkansas. You know, and it did make the NCAA tournament with the Arkansas Razorbacks to previous years this year. I think the team finish up what thirteen and sixteen. Maybe they were under five hundred and and that gets fired at Arkansas. Now, you mean to tell me a guy with no northeast roots? Not not yet. No northeast routes whatsoever. Fifty nine years of age after porter Moser turns you down FDA embarrass yourself in terms of a wanted. Bobby Hurley initially from Arizona state and then not offering Bobby Hurley more money. It's just like UCLA go to John Calipari. We'll give you we'll pay give you a six year. Forty eight billion dollar deal will pay eight million dollars a year making nine and a quarter. Why would a guy leave Kentucky that go? Rhino CLA that make less money and don't get through that UCLA wouldn't pay. Rick Barnes by out. They would have had Rick born bars. Right instead, they end up in Mick Cronin could coach. But if you think about UCLA basketball the last thing you're thinking about his big Cronin rain being your head coach. They don't offer Hurley a raise to leave Arizona state. He says thanks, but no, thanks. I didn't get the brand spanking new contract from Arizona state. They come out with that announcement. So Hurley remains in the Pac twelve porter Moser turns them down. You have reportedly a big booster former Saint Saint John's alum happened on WFAN in New York. Basically lambasting the entire program the president and the VP to the athlete not even the athletic director. But everyone else in the coaching search and end up with Mike Anderson. Yeah. And what I don't want and Mike Anderson and Mike Anderson gets the job apparently, the due to Oklahoma state was involved to name is Mike Boynton. And again, a guy that I just far as I know it has no New York. Connection's not always what they should have hired. Tim clues from my own. But apparently, he's at a four million dollar buy out there. And they wouldn't and they couldn't or wouldn't pay had they fall in about two point seven million go away. Right. They talked to James Jones from Yale who at least, you know, as from around here. But the oddity was like he's only been a head coach in the Ivy league. He's never actually had a recruit a scholarship athlete, which I don't know if that would have been a big deal. But the the no roots thing is big to me. I may be may be completely overblown. But I'm sitting here talking to you in my Fordham, hoodie pullover thing and our current men's basketball coach manager, Jeff Neubauer is a good coach good and knows coach. But he has took this job from eastern Kentucky and has no New York connections. And it's and it's been an issue if the proper rooting around here because he doesn't you don't you? Don't know anyone you don't know who's who. And who's where and where to look and had to go, and you can hire somebody to come in and help you recruit for you, which I'm assuming was what Mike Anderson would do. But it just puts you in a weird spot. When you hire a guy from like outside, your your geographic. Footprints especially in an area. Like, New York City. Let's use a national name unless he's a guy that you know, that is a brand amongst themselves. They'll step saying, and guys know and have instant respect not not taking anything away from. I'm not telling you what I tell him. He can't coach he can't. It's not it's not being critical. I it's just a matter of it's kind of square peg round hole. It's just a very very strange higher because of everything that Andrew just mentioned because you step into this. Marketplace into New York City, you have to have an understanding a distinct understanding of the five boroughs. Thanks distinct. Understanding even though may may would say that they're not New York City's not producing the same basketball player wants dead based on a us guys leave him for prep schools, but this is still a rich area for college basketball players, and you have to know the scene and have an understanding of guys that would be willing to stay. So you're not chasing your tail you know, you don't want to be going after and trying to pursue a guy. That has no interest in staying locally that wants to go play it in the SEC or go play in the ACC or go play in the Pac twelve whatever it might be. You have to have an understanding of guys that are willing to buy into play at Saint John's what's going to make your program. Good and having those connections that are helping having coaches help work for you. And just like UCLA, it doesn't help either that this guy who doesn't come from your area is also not your first choice. No, which is going to be held held against them. And everybody knows your dirty laundry. Everybody knows that both of these schools are cheap. And there's some infighting especially at ST John's where you know, the wanted to go one way the president wanted to go the other now everybody knows about that too. So, you know, if you're a kid, and my maybe you'd like, Mike Anderson, but you like are you signing up to go to these programs that aren't run well, and maybe in eighteen months or change in their mind about the guy they just hired that's recruiting. You're right now. Well, if you're a if we put ourselves in the mindset of seventeen eighteen year old kid right that all right? Still the the one on done rule still in play. Right. So either a I'm going to a place where I want to play big time college basketball. For one year before I turned pro where on projected a be unless things go completely arrived top five pick or top ten pick a lottery selection. What have you Saint John's has never in the mix? Right. I mean, I'm not probably going to go to do could worth Carolina Kentucky or or one of those type of programs. Saint John's is not going to be in the mix. So then, you know, if I'm seventeen eighteen years of age, what do you want to do? All right. There might be the kids that want to stay locally play in front of their family that might be a thing. But then you're also talking about the system does it play into the system to believe in the coach D believe your game is getting better. I mean, those those are all the things. But ultimately, even though you might not be projected to be a lottery pick bogus every guy that steps on the court for the most part for the most part has dreams aspirations have of maybe one day being John Moran who comes out of nowhere. And all the sudden is a top three NBA pick develops. It gets better. And all is the talk of college basketball. Everybody dreams about that is Mike Anderson going to be the guy that you're running. To help develop you at Saint John's in Queens, New York. I don't know if that's the guy, and you what he he may be. He may prove us all wrong. But it's a big big hole that you're starting this job in if you're actually if you're any of these guys now because you're clearly not the first choice. And now all of a sudden they were outsiders kind of thrown in the mix too. So it's it's just a lot to work off of. Plus, it's also April nineteenth ready, and there's already been a lot of movement. And there's a lot of transfers out there over six hundred list. But I mean, you're also getting someone of a elite story emus brand new area building a staff and funding.

"Mean. But I tell you what the best player on this team is on offense defensive end Demonte war. I'll know how much you got over the year. But over the years at five NFL teams from twenty thirteen and twenty eighteen I mean, I remember he was on the Cowboys. I think in twenty seventeen in here in Bryan broadest awesome Cowboys Dallas comrades mentioning how damange and more was to kind of keep taco troll. And on the sideline. We've talked about this last season the penalties not super hard to keep talking on the sideline. But Demonte does have a burst. I think is lacking by the end of this league. And sure enough he's already got league-high Markson with fifteen pressures and he's tied for first with three sacks. So I'm loving defenders seeing throughout this league too. Yeah. Absolutely, absolutely. A lot. Lot of lot of good pass rushers. I think in you know, they don't have the benefit of being able to blitz because the the af prevents any more than five pass rushers at a time. So individual Pash rushers like like Demonte more like open washroom like, Sean Washington. These guys have really stood out for their past rush ability. These guys are gonna get signed by the NFL. It's going to happen Salt Lake stallions coached by Dennis Erickson, really liked their backfield. Brandon Oliver lot of people will remember him from the chargers tore his achilles fell out of the league. Are we going to get anything out of their passing game? You know, they they're starter got hurt in week one in week two. They turn to Austin Allen. He didn't do anything Zeke this Salt Lake stallions team can can turn it up. I you know, they just they they have. Endured losing their starting quarterback in week. One was a problem. Yeah. Man because look one game. They're only down three points to Arizona at halftime when they did have Josh Woodrum. And you know, he suffered a hamstring injury. Kind of kept him out sense. I mean, Salt Lake in my admitting Lee, you know, pretty lame preseason power rankings because we didn't have really idea what was going on. So with my number one team mostly because of Josh Woodrum, and what he kind of they will do with the raven some NFO preseason action. You know seem like maybe the best dual threat quarterback in this league. And you know, he was able to lead two touchdown drives and thirty minutes of action, which is a lot more than some of his quarterback and say for two games. But yeah, I mean last week it's hard to get behind his team. It's going to be Matt Lenihan and or Austin Allen under center last week. They literally average more yards per rush than pass which is pretty insane. And they still should've won. I mean again that was four field goals that they managed the the big thing. I could see them kind of riding with if they. Can get some consistent or centers. This could be I think the league's best offense of line. I mean, they are truly massive, and they kind of still Wollo bit on the ground last game against Birmingham with brand Oliver with Joel Blagden and a little bit of that ask you how to here and there, but each of their starting tackles and guards are at least six four at least three hundred fifteen pounds. I mean, no offense live in these days law number monsters like that. But I don't think it's as much of a given as you know, city NFL that you are getting that type of size in the middle. And we did see them to advantage of that for a bit. So unfortunately, backfield seems to be enough of a committee between Oliver and Blythe on that might be featured back out of that business, but I do like the running game right here. And I think if Woodrum can give back they have some pieces, you know, Anthony denim and tighten the Mornay Pearson wide receiver some pieces of competent passing offense. 'cause defense looks solve enough already burnt burnt. Was even able to score offense touchdown on them for sixty minutes. So I like what I'm seeing over there. Just getting getting that consistently under center like you said. Yes. Salt Lake huge game for them this week. They're undefeated or they are winless the opposite of undefeated were. Were were beating Arizona the number two or number one team, depending on your point of view in week one. In arizona. They were being at halftime. And then last week they lost because of you know of a fumble by Matt Osceola scoring position because of missed field goals. And now they're at home playing Irizawa again, hopefully, they can get back. Josh woodrum. I think that they're clearly a better team than their record shows so far Memphis express quarterbacked by Christian hackenberg. But they do have a pretty good running game. What are your feelings on Mike single Terry's team through two weeks, man, I guess on game Sheild his act Stacey probably want some people fantasies back in two thousand thirteen or so and same af this year was the first back to break a hundred yards last week had a really nice broken really tackled offer forty that little burst. But. It just seems to me like a one week situation. So many good things happen for this. Memphis offense in the first half. I mean, just with turnovers and Arizona had become back by twelve points to get back in that game. And not really just allow them to do. I think more on offense defense has kind of Wilton both these last two weeks after playing really well for the first three quarters because the offense by and large can't really keep anything going. I mean, how had this first half where he gets them to twelve point lead. And then was still playing so bad that I mean brand Sobers was warming up on the sideline during the third quarter. So anything stable situation under center wouldn't be shocked Benton burger even out there, some point and really this. I mean, there's no cohesiveness between hackenberg in the past protection. It seems it look like in the second half that hackenberg new is pretty much the first reads air go ahead and throw it if not let's take off. Scramble and not flied on man. Protect yourself out there. Not never call myself Christian hackenberg. But I don't wanna see the guy hitting like this the poor, dude. You know, even goes off scores. Touchdown run. He gets laid out in the end zone afterwards. So wish can stay a little more upright. But man, I think Memphis is better than Atlanta. And that's pretty much the only positive

"Maybe daily white was playing his plan and playing it to you know, perfectly. But I like Ron for Derek ROY was dominating until he got knocked out and. Quick. There's a looming fight of Anthony, Josh Woodrum Miller. And this is how you have to play chess as promoter alone. You just being a fighter. Let's say Jerome Miller fights Anthony Josh win. Let's let's just say hypothetically Giral loses that fight that is an opportunity now that they're building other people to set a guy coming off a loss would a big Starlight Anthony Joshua, and he can either redeem duro or at the same time Bill someone else to take his spot to step into that limelight. So there's just there's so many fights. So far head you're thinking this is just part of the game. But you know, I think you were you were a lot closer not that that doesn't make any sense.
