"Those things because if you do that against Josh Taylor, maybe he puts you away, or he certainly, if you do that against Regis pro gray, he's going to put you away. So yeah, those are things that he needs to correct moving forward. And as you said, probably not a bad idea. I don't know if the situation with Joey gamache is fixable and they can bring him back, but bring another voice back into his corner because that's certainly seems to be needed. Whatever he was doing going into the lomachenko fight, do that. Bring the same people back into your life in that one because that was your career defining performance and you want to get back to being that fighter once again. All right, let's talk about a fight that happens just a couple of days ago. Now you're in a way, the now undisputed champion at a 118 pounds after stopping Paul butler in the 11th round. Not surprising. Paul butler took the fight, didn't really seem like he was coming to win the fight, had a survival strategy, I guess. He was on the move a lot. He was in good shape. I'll give him that. He stayed on the move for the majority of 11 rounds in a way eventually catches up to him. I don't really want to talk about the fight itself because it was so one sided. It was ten rounds to none before in a way. Blasted him out of there in the 11th round. In a way now moves to a 122 pounds or will move 222 pounds. Start here, do you think how dominant he was at one 18? Can carry over to a higher weight class? Yeah, it depends on how well he carries his power, which I think he will because he's a pretty big puncher. You know, he's, you know, he's the monster for a reason for sure. There are good fights for him at one 22, but guys are moving up as well. You know, like it looks like Stephen Fulton is going to move, you know, the guys are advancing in weight. So, you know, ahmaud Ali of is there as titles. There are interesting fights for him, you know? But yeah, but what there's nothing left for him to accomplish at a 118 pounds, right? So remember there were people last year or whatever, oh, I'd love to see him fight chocolatey. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You're trying to get chocolate detail killed. I mean, you know, exactly what would happen. So there's nothing really there for him in that way class or anyone coming up from one 15 that would be an appealing fight in any way, as far as I can tell. So yeah, so it's time for him to move up and then what kind of fights can they make? And you get the champions and you know, we'll see. But that's where he needs to go. I mean, because there's nothing left for him to accomplish a bantamweight.

"At the top with teofimo, Ryan García's there at the moment Regis pro gray, those titles, Josh Taylor still got one, but that's gonna go at some point as well. It might just make sense for him to move up, take a medium level fight at one 40 to get used to it, and then summer of 2023, look for that TF femo fight. Look for that Ryan García fight. Look for that pro gray fight and start taking big fights there. I think Devin Haney is going to be the guy that benefits a lot because he has so many options. You know, you look at lightweight if he stays at lightweight. You know, you've got Shakur Stevens in there. What a fight that would be him and Shakur Stevenson Loma as you said. You know, if he put tank Davis together, we know probably what happened there. But you know, I'll just throw it out at the tank Davis is the biggest draw. But you know that we know there is a lot of talent in both divisions, right? So he has a lot to pick from. And hey, I agree with what jamel said, you know, you don't hold it against him if he decides you can't make it. And I also agree jamel made the perfect point. And I think this is probably where he'll go is get a nutritionist in camp, have somebody keep him on point because he's a big dude. What is he like 5 8 and a half, 5, 9? Wide shoulders. Pretty broad shoulders and everything. So, you know, you know he's not going to be a light wave for the long term. But if you can get that big fight and I think Loma would qualify as a big fight, even though lomas maybe not what he was a couple of years ago, Loma still damn good. And that would be a big fight for him to then ride off into the sunset you've defended your undisputed title. A second time against a really good opponent and you go up to one 40 and you'll be the guy that everybody wants to see fight. They'll be calling you out one 47s will be calling them out, right? I mean, he's going to have a lot of options. I think Devin Haney is going to make a lot of money in the next couple of years. Yeah, you know, jamel and those top ranked guys love those perfecting athletes people. They love them. Yeah, they swear by those perfect athletes, folks. You know, jamel, you know what? I also love about Devin Haney and I've told him this. He's not aligning himself with anybody. I mean, he started his career fighting on showbox as an independent. He signs that he heard, he makes a whole bunch of money, doesn't get the fights he's looking for, so he signs with top rank. And now he's got one more fight left with top rank. Maybe it's against lomachenko. Maybe it's against Anthony ma Lopez, and then he can make another choice. Like he can elect to go back and do a new deal with top rank. He can elect to align himself made with golden boy even to try to get a Ryan García fight, like I love that approach. It's like the approach in Kevin knows this that Sugar Ray Leonard took back in the day. Sugar and Leonard didn't line himself with anybody. He just was like, you know what? I'm going to take the fights. I want to take. I mean, too often it feels like fighters are just so deeply loyal to promoters

"In the ring, fully motivated. Prepared in every facet of your game. How do you still get to that place? At this point in your career. I think that's the most important telling point in breaking this fight down and handicapping those fight. To try to understand that. And that will be in some ways to telling of what happens in that ring in Japan. Yep. It should be a good one. Looking forward to seeing triple G in action, he always brings the excitement. That's all we've got this week, teddy. Am I missing anything? No, just your Tennessee volunteers. I'll give it a shot to my man Regis pro grey got a knockout win over the week over the weekend in Dubai. As you fight a classic guy, smart guy, southpaw, good fight or fight fights good fighters for a real close fight a couple years ago with Josh Taylor. You know, here's the funny thing about it. He launched that fight very close all over across the pond and tell his home obviously hometown. But he's continued to look better and better and I don't know that I could say that about Taylor because Taylor did not look good in his last fight which most people thought kind of beat him, but just maybe more importantly is whether he got the gift or he didn't get the gift and I think he got a gift with that decision. He didn't look good but folks continues to look good. He's a slick southpaw. He could go catch a box with you. He's remained as, I think, still one of those top guys. Yeah, and one of the things that I love about Regis pro grace. He's like an intellectually curious kid. He's a really nice guy. He's not as well known as some of the other big name fighters, but I'm telling you when he gets the big shot. I think people will really like him. He speaks from the heart. He's very honest. One of the things regarding Josh Taylor, I saw he was, you know, sometimes Josh still has some kind of bad behavior. I got to say it outside of the ring. He's got like, you know, he's caught on camera, drinking and saying some racist stuff. But that most recently said, someone sent out a tweet about that cataract got robbed or something. And Josh Taylor said, could you know the British board of boxing said they were going to call in the judges and they wanted to talk and review it. So Josh Taylor sent a tweet a retweeted a tweet about the disputed decision and he said, oh, you better call the police. In other words, like, oh, go cry to someone else about it or something. And I'll just respond to it like this guy's a real class act. This guy, Josh Dylan. But Josh still has done a few things like that. I get that he wants to hype the fight and he gets all aggressive it. To me, it's too much, but I get it. That's what he has to do to get his head right for the fight. But sometimes he's just always seems to be stepping over the line and it's just been a lot of incidents like this with Josh where he's like like I said oh drink and saying crazy stuff talking crazy and I went to Twitter. I just like to see a little bit less of that kind of behavior from Josh and just like stick to fighting and like stop trying to be like super aggressive with people outside of the obvious combat in the ring. Anyway no no I'm going to say somewhat for that because I understand what you're saying and I agree with it. At the end of the day you could do whatever you want like we're talking about some of these guys you know how they're clevers promoters and they built themselves up get more eyeballs on them all that and whatever way you go about doing it if it works. But at the end of the day you better be able to fight. At the end of the day, take care of your business in a ring. It's like that old bugs and joke where they're at a club show that goes on every Friday night fights, they've had a club show and back in the days and a priest there's a priest and neighborhood priests who goes to all the fights and he's standing there against the wall his wife fights the next opponent gets in. He gets there and he goes to his corner, Neil's down. He blesses himself. He looks up and having, you know, for a little support, right? We all need support. And then he gets ready to answer the bell. And one of the old fight fans standing next to a priest says, father, does that really help and the priest looks at him and says, only if you can fight son. You know, so at the end of the day, don't forget that part. You know, it's pretty important. And in some ways, and I'm glad you touched on it. His behavior in a way where he gets crazy and all that stuff, and you know, worked up, I want to kill you all that stuff. It's working against him in a way that it worked against him in his fight against cattle because he looked ridiculous that he wanted we saw it at the pre fight stuff at the way and all that stuff how he wanted to get after him and he was huffing and puffing like I was telling that story to my grandchildren know that they like the big bad wolf. How venom puffin and bulldogs found. But when he ran into a secure house with brick, he huffed and puffed himself out. And he didn't blow any houses down. And he reminded me of the big bad wolf. What kind of wall he hopped and puffed to blow down house down, but he wound up, he went up being frustrated. He wound up overshooting the guy. He wound up doing almost nothing. I mean, he was so huffed and puffed, so to speak and so embroiled to kill the guy, which you should never be at that place in any professional realm. You're supposed to be calm. You're supposed to have smart guy. Yeah, you could have physical the guy out strike the guy out, speed the guy. Everything. But you got to be calm because when you're not calm, the old pros just always tell us and tell me it cuts would always say, you can make a fool out of the guy. When the guy gets mad, if you could get a med, get him mad. And then you play with him. You play with him when he's mad. And it looked like cattle and spots could play with him because he was mad. He was genuinely mad. Like he was running after him. I'm just going to kill him. And he was physically.

"Historic clash the week <Speech_Male> before Canelo, <Speech_Male> then you're into May <Speech_Male> with Canelo and then you're <Speech_Male> into the summer <Speech_Male> with our broader <Speech_Male> roster than gears <Speech_Male> and the Diaz is <Speech_Male> in the Garcia's <Speech_Male> again. <Speech_Male> You're talking about <Speech_Male> a very, very strong <Speech_Male> 5 or 6 month <Speech_Male> play here. So <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I'm going to take <Speech_Male> the opportunities <Speech_Male> to sleep and rest <Speech_Male> where I can. I don't think there's going to be <Speech_Male> much of that over the summer <Speech_Male> months. Well, Joe, <Speech_Male> I appreciate that <Speech_Male> out for me. Appreciate <Speech_Music_Male> it. Thanks, Chris. <Speech_Music_Female> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> All right, time <Speech_Male> now for this week's <Speech_Male> picks brought to you <Speech_Male> by FanDuel <Speech_Male> if you have been betting <Speech_Male> with me <Speech_Male> since I <Speech_Male> started doing this in <Speech_Male> January, <Speech_Male> you have probably won <Speech_Male> a decent <Speech_Male> amount of money. Last <Speech_Male> week, I <Speech_Male> told you to take Josh <Speech_Male> Taylor by <Speech_Male> decision over <Speech_Male> Jack Cadillac. <Speech_Male> What happened? <Speech_Male> Josh Taylor <Speech_Male> won <Speech_Male> by decision. This <Speech_Male> week, I'm <Speech_Male> locked in <Speech_Male> on the José Ramírez <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Jose pedraza <Speech_Male> fight. That is Friday <Speech_Male> night <Speech_Male> in Fresno, <Speech_Male> California, <Speech_Male> 140 <Speech_Male> pound fight between <Speech_Male> Ramirez, a former <Speech_Male> champion at one <Speech_Male> 40 in pedraza, <Speech_Male> one of the more well-known <Speech_Male> names <Speech_Male> in multiple <Speech_Male> weight classes. So, <Silence> ordinarily, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I would lean heavily <Speech_Male> towards José <Speech_Male> Ramírez. But I <Speech_Male> have some questions here. <Speech_Male> Ramirez <Speech_Male> has not <Speech_Male> fought since <Speech_Male> May of <Speech_Male> 2021. Now pedraza <Speech_Male> last fought <Speech_Male> in June of <Speech_Male> 2021. So <Speech_Male> he has been <Speech_Male> just as inactive, <Speech_Male> but Ramirez's <Speech_Male> last fight was <Speech_Male> against Taylor. <Speech_Male> He lost a <Speech_Male> big fight, a <Speech_Male> undisputed <Speech_Male> championship fight. <Speech_Male> And I thought in that <Speech_Male> moment, <Speech_Male> that José Ramírez was <Speech_Male> a pretty big guy for a <Speech_Male> 140 pounds. <Speech_Male> Would take that <Speech_Male> opportunity <Speech_Male> to move up and wait. <Speech_Male> He decided to <Speech_Male> stay at one <Speech_Male> 40 and it's going to try to <Speech_Male> get one or <Speech_Male> more of his <Speech_Male> titles back. That <Speech_Male> worries me <Speech_Male> a little bit. Pedraza, <Speech_Male> he has been <Speech_Male> at a 140 <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> plus pounds <Speech_Male> for his <Speech_Male> last four fights. So I think <Speech_Male> he's more comfortable <Speech_Male> at <Speech_Male> this weight. And I think pedraza, <Speech_Male> who's <Speech_Male> losses have <Speech_Male> largely come <Speech_Male> at the highest level <Speech_Male> he was stopped <Speech_Male> by Giovanni Davis, <Speech_Male> he went the distance <Speech_Male> with Vasily lomachenko, <Speech_Male> and he lost. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> These are <Speech_Male> not bad losses. So <Speech_Male> I <Speech_Male> am going to take <Speech_Male> the underdog <Speech_Male> in this flight. <Speech_Male> That is Jose pedraza <Speech_Male> plus three <Speech_Male> 90 <Speech_Male> over at FanDuel <Speech_Male> right now. And I'm going to take <Speech_Male> him by <Speech_Male> decision, which is at <Speech_Male> plus 5 50. <Silence> Now, one other <Speech_Male> thing here, <Speech_Male> the location <Speech_Male> worries me as <Speech_Male> I make this bet. I <Speech_Male> agonized over this bet <Speech_Male> because of where <Speech_Male> this fight is. Fresno, <Speech_Male> California, <Speech_Male> the home <Speech_Male> region <Speech_Male> of José <Speech_Male> Ramírez. And we <Speech_Male> saw with <Speech_Male> Taylor against catarau <Speech_Male> in Glasgow, Taylor's <Speech_Male> backyard. <Speech_Male> That <Speech_Male> location matters, <Speech_Male> that beating a guy <Speech_Male> on his home <Speech_Male> turf is <Speech_Male> really difficult. But I think pedras <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> got one <Speech_Male> last <Speech_Male> signature <Speech_Male> performance <Speech_Male> in him and I am <Speech_Male> concerned <Speech_Male> about José Ramírez <Speech_Male> getting back down to <Speech_Male> one 40 <Speech_Male> to make the <Speech_Male> wait for <Speech_Male> this fight. So <Speech_Male> I'm going underdog <Speech_Male> here. Pedraza <Speech_Male> by decision <Speech_Male> over Ramirez, <Speech_Male> that's my picks, <Speech_Music_Male> brought to you <Speech_Male> by FanDuel. <Speech_Male> That's it for this <Speech_Male> week's episode. My <Speech_Male> thanks to Sergio Moro, <Speech_Male> Eddie Hearn <Speech_Male> and Joe markovsky <Speech_Male> who joined the show, <Speech_Male> as always, subscribe, <Speech_Male> rate, review <Speech_Male> this podcast on Apple <Speech_Male> podcasts, <Speech_Male> Spotify, wherever <Speech_Music_Male> you

"Not told the truth. Did Colbert look bad or did Hector Garcia just too much for him? No, Godzilla was a hell of a fighter. I mean, this guy was an Olympian. He had 300 amateur fights. Cobalt was a great amateur too. But this guy was even greater. You could say, and he knew how to fight. He was a southpaw, but he knew how to fight. He knew what to do. I mean, it was time and call but tried to time him any time, call, but through the punches in between punches at the right quarter clean, acting like he was going well when high with the left hand took a little step back, drove COVID into reach to get reckless a little bit. Catherine will love to have dropped him with that punch. I mean, this guy knows how to fight. But he was covered up in the at the end of his son, Corbin. What did he do? He hit him behind the ears. With shots behind he is. This guy really knew how to fight and call but from a technical side, not only didn't get the truth from his trainer, but he doesn't look, he does time. Finish up on that one. He just doesn't look well rounded. It's like he's not dimensional. It just one dimension. All right, next topic. Gary Antoine Russell beats Victor post all. He beat him up pretty good throughout the fight, but post all Ukrainians as tough as nails. And the ref steps in and stops the fight, it looked like it looked like Russell had him in a little bit of trouble, but I didn't think he should have stopped the fight. I think they would not have been 30 seconds left in the fight. What did you think of the fight and what did you think of the stoppage? I started with the last part first. It stopped too soon. You're right. You're on a button. Stop too soon, but it did matter. We were going to get the same result. So that didn't matter. As far as the fight was so, you know, he's learning the right way. He's being brought along the right way. He's technically solid to doing a hell of a job. It's in the family, you know, the bloodlines all about, you know, his brother is a former world champion. His father does a great job. I mean, it's in a family. And he knows how to fight. They had to it was a good little bit of a test. Postal is definitely in his twilight. Maybe passes twilight. He's definitely had his better days, no doubt about that. But he's still a guy that presents a little bit of a puzzle that has to be solved with his style, controlling the outside. You know, he's not as good at it as a user, we wouldn't call it for him. He was better at it. But still, it was still something to solve with somewhere you had to show patients. You had to show good technique. Good understanding and Russell showed that. What'd you make of Chico Stevenson chime in in on the Chris Colbert thing I meant to ask you that on the last Congress on the last topic, I know you I know you saw his comments saying that culbert doesn't have a dog in him and because coburn had been saying, you know, crap talking Shakur and Shakur jump right in when he saw this performance. Can't blame him. I mean, they're going to do to each other. They're going to take shots at each other, you know, at the end of social media. That's what athletes do. That's what people do. Nowadays, and he opened the door from the do it. He took shots at him, him being called it, took shots in Shakur. He opened the door. You know, you're going to take shots of people. You better be buttoned up in your own home, right? You're going to 12 rocks, you better not have a lot of Windows. And he had windows. He had a lot of open windows, mister Cole, but to allow something to be trucked back at him. Yep. That was fun. Maybe in the future we can have fans submit some topics they'd like us to cover quickly at the end and maybe we'll make that a part of the show. Let's see what the fans have to say about this. I want to, yeah, please. I want to do one more. I want to add one in last week we talked about Amir Khan. Let me just give one real quick. Maybe one minute. One minute. I only need about a minute on this one. Where, you know, a lot of people I get the fans. Again, my great brothers over there across the pond, I get it that you got mad. Few people talk, I don't look at the stuff, but people told me a few just gone to Brits over there. Up in arms about me saying Amir Khan was a great. He wasn't great, okay? He had 6 laws and he got knocked out 5 times with my memories right. He had 6 laws that got knocked out 5 times. To be great, you have to not only shouldn't you get knocked out 5 times. Forget that. But you have to be great fighters. Or put it this way. You have to beat the best fighters out there that you fight. Whoever you're fighting who's the best fighters on your resume, you have to beat most of them. He didn't beat them. All the top guys that he fought if you look at his record, he lost to it, he got knocked out by most of them, all right? You can't. Even if you wanted to do that, you can honestly do that just because he's British and say he's great. And you know, anointed him up there with the Sugar Ray Robinson's and whatever and say, oh yeah, this guy, you can't do that when he doesn't beat the best guys that he fights..

"Who was he going to be, was he going to be the guy that was laid out on the floor? Was he going to be somebody else? And that is powerful. That shows up in a ring. It shows up and it fights with you. It helps you. Partners up with you. It's there. It has a say before the night's over. I think it's going to have a say. For miles for door before the night's over. With everything going against him and I'm ready to accept it. I get it. I'm reasonable sometimes. But I think at the end of the day, Mars for those going to strum up everything that he has, and any other had when he was fighting in those back door, those backyard fights, you know, when he was first discovered, with jumbo slice, what was his name? Kimbo Slice. Kimbo Slice, you know? God versus soul. He passed away, but he was a legendary guy. He was, you know, he was a pioneer of that stuff. And he was, they were doing it on a YouTube and that's where miles were all comes from. That's rugged stuff. They're all come from rugged stuff. That drug good stuff. And I think he's going to muster everything he can. Every freaking thing he can, you know? He's going to, he's going to call on a cavalry. You know, of every ounce of pride, everything that's left in him. And he's going to come out and he's going to fight a really, really, which is going to have to. A very disciplined strategic but hard to determine concentrated laser like focused fight, way he's going to use his legs. He's going to keep separation. He's going to look to set up right hands. He's going to look to escape, you know, from the shoots. And I think he's kind of got a good shot. And I love Baltimore. I think he's got a good shot. But again, he can't be on the front. You got to pick somebody. Or you could be on the fence. But we don't do that here. We don't do that here. For the guys at my bookie, check them out at my bookie dot AG. We got Masvidal plus two 50 Covington minus three 20. Given the line and everything you just said, what are you doing? I'm taking a talk. I'm taking the dog and I think he's going to even if he doesn't win. I'm taking them for the right reason because I think that he's got the right reason. To show up and perform as great as good as he can at this point in his life. It's a good enough. I'm not sure. But I got to be sure one thing. It's kind of like in the old days when we used to get tips from on horses. And. That's why I still have a mortgage. But that's okay. Tips didn't always go that well. But no, but you know, we went out there with okay, we got the bay. You know what I mean? We're driving out there in a clunk of a Dodge with one door falling off, but driving home in a Cadillac. You know? You know, because you're all excited and everything. And then, of course, you're holding that door of the Dodge close, so it doesn't open up on the turnpike, right? So it's okay. But what the tips will all about, really, in all kidney site, if there wasn't a fix in, that was speaking about boxing. You mean the only tip that's worth anything. This is a tip. This is, you know, this is your opinion. Well, you know the other horses have bad legs. Yeah, that's pretty much it. But no, the one, the only legitimacy to so called tip was that the owner was going all out, that they were going on because sometimes they use races as get ready for the next. And so that was the really the only legitimacy. And anything that was valid for tep was trying to win. Wow, wow, we're giving our best effort. We're not going out there for a workout. And that's kind of what I'm saying here. I feel a 100% sure win or lose that he's going to be as good as he can be. At this point in his life. And it's going to be that urgent to him. That urgent attempt. And that he's a smart guy he's not a dumb guy. He's a creative guy. I think he's going to be creative. He's going to need some flying knees. He's going to need that right hand. He's going to need the legs. He's going to think I said. He's going to need the defense from the shoots, but I think he's going to have that in place. And that's all I can ask for. And taking a dog is that I believe that he will be mentally and physically at his utmost. And that's why I could ask for. And I don't know over under four and a half minus one 40 on the over plus one ten on the under. Oh, I'm going to go. I'm taking it over. I mean, again, you could be wrong. You could be wrong. But especially in this explosive business, you know, there were four out freaking clubs. Come on. I mean, come on. They're hidden with elbows. Come on. They didn't with knees. Come on. I mean, yeah, it could definitely be on the, but I'm going with the over. I'm going with the technique of this fight that it's going to have to be paid attention to by both guys, especially Mars fedor. Because Covington can't get sloppy coming in at a be aggressive either. You know, he's got to be steady. He's got to be under control behind the jab. If he gets killed, he could get dropped with a straight right hand. He's been hit with a lot of money. And I'll tell you one other part to the analysis of this that I don't think anyone's going to touch on this really. I well, now they might because there's a lot of people to listen to yourself. As proven in his last fight, he got knocked out cold with the right hand straight right hand by the great usman. But there was a reason for it. He led, we'll have to confront. And you never should do that. And he got him, nobody pointed this out. And he got hit with a straight right hand. Okay. Now, so he gets over right still, but here's the thing. The right hand is not going to be a danger point for him and his fight. And people are going to say, what do you mean, teddy? What are you talking about? He's fighting a guy with two ants. He's fighting a southpaw. The straight right hand is the danger to the door. When he leads with someone fun, with a straight right hand, come down the middle and beats it. He doesn't have to worry about that weapon about that danger about that punch. There's no straight rights coming out of him Saturday night. Only right hooks. And that's different. That's different. The way you're going to get caught with dad is if you're over aggressive and you get caught maybe on a back end with a counter and I don't and again, if Masvidal is going to have a chance to win this fight, he can't be over Godzilla..

"The UFC puts on a lot. And they put one on that night. It was all great fights and drama. And that's why they do so good. In the world, if you will. But and come from where they've come from to really pass boxing when it comes to the ratings on regular shows, regular shows. That when you're putting on, you know, if you put Joshua with fury, of course, that's a different ball game or Canelo with the right guy. That's a different universe. But on the whole, they got a pay per view with their fights. I mean, they're doing better than boxing. I mean, they'll pay per view as much better. Much higher numbers. But to get to the fight again, that's what Covington's going to look to do, I believe, and needs to do, and he needs to avoid some of those finance because that's my fault tools must must for those chance to land a good straight right hand. He's a good striker. He's creative. He's got pretty good legs. He's 30, 7 years old. I know, but it's going to need those legs. He's going to need to keep range. He's going to need to keep distance separation, and he's going to need to make Covington pay a price for real estate. You know, charge him a couple right hands for every foot that he tries to gain in that octagon, coming forward. Charge them for real estate, not money, but punches. He's going to need the right hand is going to need to jab to keep the right hand at the keep the range to set up that right hand. He's going to need that jab to keep that range, he's going to need a little recklessness from Covington coming in. And again, he's going to need to do what people do against southpaws. Use that's how popular the right hand. And Covington, as I just said, he gets civil right hand. So he's going to need to do that, keep separation, have capability when it comes to the deschutes where Covington will try to get him to the mat. If he can do that, it's going to be a hell of a fight, a very interesting fight. I don't think he wants a slugfest. Covington is dealing with a slugfest. I think Mars would do wants to be able to get more of a boxing match. In the way that he can. I mean, he'll do what he has to do to all tough guys. But I think he needs more of that. Now here's The X Factor. Here's the intangible. The mental side. Who's better? Well, Covington is coming off a really good fight going to distance with all his money. He got stopped the first time late in the fight, got a broken shot. Came off going the distance. And the first fight some people thought he was winning a fight or possibly winning a fight. So he's come off some that's got to make him feel damn good mentally. And of course most of all is coming from the worst place, getting knocked out cold in the second round of one clean right hand. In that fight and he's got to get rid of the bats in the belfry, the ghosts in the attic from that fight. That's what he's going to do. That's part of it. The mental part is a big part of it. Where will he be? Now, most people are going to say, you got to favor Covington. I don't blame them. I don't disagree. And what about the hunger factor? Who's hungry? Made a lot of money the last couple of years. You know, he had Dana White over barrel in that first husband fight with somebody dropped out and it was a big fight. They needed a big name and he was able to get the money that he probably would have gotten if he didn't have them in that kind of pickle. So he's made a lot of money. So you would think Covington, this is Covington's chance to go to the dance. You know, to step to that kind of that kind of zip code that area called kind of like the jeffersons. I love to Jefferson. Remember that years ago that, you know, moving on up. Moving on up to the side. To the east side. I like that. So he's got a chance to move on up to the east side. With the money. And so you would think all that favors him. I got it. I got you. I got you. But there's something on Mars for doing side. It's pride. They all have pride. But it's legacy. It's saving it's saving your legacy. It's called redemption. That's what it's called. Where he got knocked out, and he doesn't want to leave that there. He doesn't want to leave that there. And he wants to revive what people think of him, his image, his brand, but him, forget brand because that implies money. It's steeper than that. It's kind of like when I talked about when I broke down the fight with fury and wada. And I gave wato good chance that I was right. He came so close. And the reason I gave him a good chance, even though he don't fight nearly as good as fury, as because it was about redemption, it was about him as a man as a person. Who he was going to be and who he's going to be reminded. Who he was going to be remembered as. When he walked down the street and people saw, and when he looked in the.

"Ten free travel packs with your athletic greens, first order. All right, let's get into this UFC match. What do you look for with Colby Covington for us, our friend Jorge Masvidal, friend of the show? I'm going to be out there covering her for ESPN. So jealous. So I'm going to be out there. I'm going to cover the ESPN, you figure it out. 50 years in a boxing game, they send me out to UFC fights. I don't know. I mean, but I'm glad because I think the promoter of UFC actually likes you though. I don't know about the box. Something strange going on there. But it gives you that spot, not the other. You could be on to something Sherlock. Captain obvious. But anyway, now listen, I love, hey, I love the sport now. I love the fighters in the UFC just like I love to fight as a boxing. And I'm on it. I'm honored. I'm privileged that they want me out there to talk a little bit and I'm going to be with Chelsea and one of the greats in the business and with all the bad guy. I'd probably want to one of the great producers directors in the business in boxing and MMA. So I'm going to be really, I'm just privileged. I'm going to go people. And it's going to be a great fight. It's supposed to be a great fight. It should be a great fight. A lot of interest, you know, Covington draws people. He's like Muhammad Ali. He goes by the Muhammad Ali. And philosophy of people are going to come together going to hate me or they're going to love me, but they're going to come and buy a ticket, you know? And he knows how to get that storm going. And they got a storm gone between him and Masvidal who used to be teammates. But teammates, they were like best Friends. Yeah. Best Friends. Exactly. So Covington and the analysis that obvious I'm not telling you anything that everyone doesn't know. He's the better wrestler that he was a tremendous collegiate wrestling champion division one he's the guy that his partners game plan is going to be put on precious steady pressure. I think he needs to do it not reckless pressure. Steady pressure behind the jab and then get takedowns when he can. Get to shoots, get takedown. Now the one thing that's opposing of Masvidal can't match him for, you know, his proudness on the mat, but he's very good at defending takedowns very good. He showed that with oseman too in the first fight when he was in the top shape. So he's good at inescapability. You know, kind of like Kyle Murray, the great quarterback of that. Arizona called John Elway years ago. They know how to escape to sack. He's good at that. He's going to have to be good at that. He's going to come in with steady pressure, I believe. Covington looked to get takedowns if he can get in the geography once. That suits him for his skills. And he's a guy with a, you know, he's a guy with a motor that doesn't stop. You know, he's got that cardiovascular. You know, kind of like Neil Armstrong had it in, you know, you know about that better than I do in cycling. He had that extra lung. Now I know people are going to say, oh yeah, teddy did steroids. But before that, let's put that aside. Tell me if I'm right or wrong, Ken. He had that extra lung. He had that capacity to really, really go up the mountains, probably better than most, or maybe anybody. He had that. He had a super high VO2 max. One of the highest ever measured and that's the real measure of an endurance athlete is the VO2 max. How much oxygen I think that's how much oxygen they get in each breath maybe in the blood, but it has to do with it has to do with work capacity and like Nordic Nordic skiers, cross country skiers have historically have the highest and then cyclists. But yeah, Lance, when they measured him at the Olympic training center in his early days, they were like, they knew right away that he was one, 'cause it's like a metric that you can point to and say, if this guy stays with that, this is an elite elite athlete. And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for calling him a S tonight. I meant lancer. I mean, I know people say he's in space. And I'm sorry. He's not now to space. He's here. And I guess he's still right so by going to spare time. But he's a venture capitalist now. Sports health and wellness. Well, there it is. Make a lot of money still as he did before. But I would, I would say, tell me if this is fair can. I would say Covington's in that in that company of cardiovascular advantage capacity. That he clearly has a high work rate. So as fine tuned as a cardio cardiovascularly as an athlete can be, I think, in the cage. Yeah, so that's what I think. So I think that he's going to look to grind. He's going to look to put the study pressure, try to wear them as much for those are big on the dog. What is it? They don't want to. I know, I know you look at it while I'm talking but I know he's a big underdog. And I got the line right now as mazar I plus two 50 Covington is minus three 20. Yeah, so I was right there. I would say three to one. So at the end of the day, they're both going to try to play into their strengths. As I said, Covington get to take down, you know, don't get careless, try not to get hit too much. One of the things we're Covington and southpaw. He gets hit a lot of right hands. And he got hit, he got a broken joiner person who's been fighting. He got hit a lot. But to his credit, you know, he was still there going to distance against usman in Madison Square Garden in a remarkable fight of remarkable night, a remarkable cod that the UFC puts on a lot. And they put one on that night. It was all great fights and drama. And that's why they do so good..

"I don't mean to laugh, but I'm speaking of real stuff here. James Tony decision over the challenger, David tiberi. Here it is. There it is. And senator William Roth Republican from Delaware to crying and outrageous miscarriage of justice. It's time for the powers to be in professional boxing. It's a time that the powers that be in professional boxing learn about fighting fairly. And said he's going to take it to this. Oh, he said, that's a speech he gave on the Senate floor. Yeah. Yeah, there it is. Bring out the guillotine. Bring it out. I mean, you know, but meanwhile, here we are. Here we are. And here we are. Just run it again. Run it again. The same thing. I've been screaming about this. I guess Taylor was just barely made the weight and after the fight obviously. But he looks so strong. He looks so strong. And so much stronger can than the other guy. And that was a curse fam, because that's all he wanted to be. He just want to be stronger. He didn't, he didn't look to be better. He just looked to be stronger. Yeah. Interesting though to see the first, I think that was the first fight with Davison, but there were a lot of people pointing out that Ben Davis and hadn't looked good with his fight as recent fights with Billy Joe Saunders with Tyson Fury, that a number. Listen, I didn't come here to knock him. But you're right, no, you should do what you're doing. You're my partner. You're supposed to breathe. You're doing that part of the show with me. To bring this up so we can have interaction about this. What I am saying is he seems like a jelly to more than he does a strategist or a technician. You know, a guy that opens up the hood to the car and changes the spot plugs. And gets the soldiers running the right way. He doesn't seem to be capable of that. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I won't, but I can only go by what I see and have seen. I haven't seen a huge body of work at his, but what I've seen, that's a little bit of what I feel. Yeah. It'll be interesting to see what's next for both of those guys. Let's talk about the upcoming UFC main event Covington versus Masvidal. But before we do, one thing that Josh Taylor probably could have done to help make weight is to make sure he was taking his athletic greens. One of our favorite sponsors teddy, I know you love this stuff. It tastes great. I take it every morning, one scoop to keep you on track. Got multiple servings of fruits and vegetables in here. These guys spend about ten years with top nutritionists getting this formula dialed in. They've got a rebranded green bag at this stuff is awesome, but travel with it everywhere I go. I know I sound like a broken record every week when I talk about them, but I love this stuff. How have you been doing? You've been taking it? Yeah, listen. It's really good solid stuff. It's kind of like being a trainer, would you talk about as a trainer of your real trainer? You talk about having a foundation. You know, having a balance, having your legs and right position. You can't do anything without a good foundation. You could have to fast answer the world to most power in the world upstairs, but you're not going to be able to use what you have upstairs unless downstairs is right. And this takes care of downstairs. Yes. It takes care of the foundation that you have what you need. You have the food, proper food, the proper nutrition, and you early in the day that you need to go through your freaking day. That's what it is. And I'll finish with this. My own little touch, although that was my touch. But that tell I had it, he could have maybe would have been a little bit, he's still a still would have smothered himself, you know? He still would have overshot his punishment because he wasn't taught that. You got to be taught that. But he would.

"You. We're here to hear the fight we're here to watch the fight. We got eye pulse. And when there's a knock down, you really probably shouldn't speak through the knockdown. Do you disagree? Do I hear an amen? Do I hear an amen? Diane amen. Amen. I wished it, I wished it all Jill Tess is overreactions weren't scripted and canned. It just sounds like he's waiting for which witch punchline he's gonna use at a knockout. None of it seems sincere or organic. It just seems like everything is a pre rehearsed. Well, listen, I'm not here to tell him a part. You know, he can do that himself. Other people can do that if they want to. You know what I mean? But he's not an important enough for us to be for me to do that just to point out what I had to point out because I think that that is fair. But, you know, again, he's, you got him using the same combination all night he's allowed to do that. It can't be a great fight this too much grab and too much holding too much. And tell it that more swinging them around and out muscling them on the inside and roughing them up and mugging them or trying to mug them on the inside that it did punching. And he had like a bully mentality all night trying to be rough house. Yeah, of course. And that's got a backfire on you. That's going to back because you're so set for him to collapse that he don't collapse and you're not ready for what you should have been ready for and need to be ready for any time you get in that ring or you get into a fight. But for the other guy to obviously oppose you in a way that he opposed them. To obviously be able to fight you back the way that and to use your tools. Not to go down and throw all the tools out of the tool freaking box and go to just looking to pummel the guy. You're supposed to have more tools and bring those tools. And he didn't. He wasn't able to because of his mindset of what I said. He was, you know, he was Jack Nicholson in The Shining. And at the end of the day, having said that and breaking the fight down, I think the right way, the way I just did. Yeah, again, technically, I went back, I looked and said, yeah, he won by one or two points he'd be in the underdog cataract, but if he didn't shut it down, and I know people say, well, you know, why should he have to keep going when he knows he's ahead? Because these things happen. Because these things happen because you're supposed to continue going. Because that's your obligation. Your obligation is not to be reckless not to be stupid not to walk into punches, not to throw it away. But when you're in someone else's home town and you're in on their network, let's break this down really. What we're dealing with here, you're fighting on the other guys network as the guest as the opponent, where the other guys promoter is running the show. The commentators are part of that. Everyone. Yeah, the commentators to give you a little tap dance of say a little something. But they're never gonna really, really go out there because they know who their boss is. Their boss is the promoter. And the network. That's their boss. And so they give you a little something. But they're not gonna go out there and tell you, hey, you know, this stinks. You know, this is corruption of boxing. We see it too often. They're not gonna stay. If they do do that, they won't be on the network. They'll be like me. Seeing that play out a few times. Yeah, they'll be like me. You know, and as spotted than me, I'm dopey. I still haven't gotten a memo. I'm a little slow. I'm a little slow with that stuff. But so they got ESPN. So what? I got you. Who's doing better? I'm doing better. But I got you. And I got a haircut from your barber once a month. Come on. Come on. They can't match that. So, and I have what I believe is what I want to have. My respect my dignity of what I believe is what I need to be. And that's, you know, it's kind of like those commercials they used to do. That's priceless. No matter what to check, it's at the end of the day, nothing is. Nothing is bigger than that. So yeah, yeah, it wasn't a worse though. Yeah, yeah, the other guy sort of got it. And yeah, you know, when you're fighting the other guy's promoter, they're going to favor them. They're going to do whatever they can. That's the way it is. But the worst no. Listen, I'm not going to stop the guy the politician and say, hey, you shouldn't go for this one. There's been ones worse than that. Go ahead. Go to Congress or whatever that is. Parliament parliament. Yeah, go to parliament over there. Do whatever you can because there is a problem with boxing. There's no doubt about that. I mean, the promoter does have too much way. And has the control and they can cover it with their people that are doing a fight. They're never going to let it get too loud. They're never going to let it get too loud. If someone does, like I said, it's going to be exiled. Over to over to a podcast with Ken ride out. But that's okay. That's okay. That's okay. That's okay, because you know what, look at us. We got all these fans. We got 234,000 or whatever it is. Subscribers, it's growing every day. We got like 46 million downloads, we have, we have advertisers, sponsors. We have you. We have you. The people. All the people out there that keep coming. And if you keep coming, we're going to stay. We're going to stay. We take all orders from you. You keep coming. You keep subscribing. We're going to stay with you. Because we love you. And we appreciate you. And we appreciate that. We can say what we believe to be true. Without repercussions, except, you know, you guys throw those dots at me that you draw from cross a pump but that's okay. That's all fun in love, you know, for the most part, some of it gets a little crazy, but it's good. It's all good as we say out there. Yeah, the belt should have probably been switched, but at the end of the day, you know, you look at, you look at some of those fights out there that are really and nobody says not because they don't get the outcry this one got. You know, there's one got the outcry, obviously part of its televised part of it is you have to parliament interaction here that you would never expect. I remember years ago and rob will look it up. You're looking up, but I remember years ago, James Tony was involved with a fighter and it was done in a leading city. And it was for the, I don't know if it was for the middleweight title probably was that Tony I told you a hell of a fighter. But everyone thought that this long shot one of them try to remember who he was. But everyone was going crazy. And there was a congressman or senator some politician that happened to be at the fight or see the fight and he went crazy. He said, I'm going to Congress. I'm going to the Senate. I'm going to The White House and we're going to change this. Boxing is a corrupt sport. We can not tolerate this. And you know, we got everyone's attention for about 5 minutes. For about 5 minutes. And then everything calmed down and guess what? Somebody got robbed and follow a week..

"And the fights of life. And there's no greater fight going on. Or more serious fight going on right now than what's going on in the Ukraine. Fight for your country fight for your existence and so we just I just want to send for all of us in all our families and all people that we know. And I can take for granted I think I can assume and just say I'm doing it for all our fans. That does send it out to the same thoughts and prayers to all the people in the Ukraine that are dealing with the invasion that they're dealing with right now over there. So that's it. I'm ready to I'm ready to talk about something less serious, serious, but obviously a little less. And week every minded of that sometimes every day that there are things that are greater than the things that we feel so important to us. There's people that are in situations a lot more dire than even the tough situations that we may face in our daily fights every day and we should be appreciative and cognizant of that. And I know we are. I know we are. It is just reminds us of that. So for those of you who don't know, when we watch the fights on Saturdays, teddy and I never, ever talk about the fights prior to going live because the point of the show is to get teddy's reaction from a fan's perspective. Me representing the fans and we haven't spoken about the controversial Josh Taylor win decision win over Jack catarau. We'll get to the decision in a minute, but holy crap, what a fight this was. My God, I think Jack Cadillac shocked the crap out of some people. I'm sure he wasn't shocked. He took some, I think he took step aside money earlier to let Taylor take his last fight. I think against Ramirez, but nevertheless, he gets his shot. He delivered what a performance in Glasgow in front of Taylor's fans. And Taylor wins a very close decision. One judge had a cataract. I thought, edged it. I thought it was razor thin margin, very, very close, the fans in the UK were enraged. I can't remember them being so upset about a decision. And I'm with them. I just think there's been worse. There's been more egregious decisions. Again, I'm dying to hear your thoughts teddy because I have no idea what you thought. I know you went back and watched it and scored it. But with that being said, the British board of controls has announced that British boxing border controls has announced that they're going to investigate. They want to report from the judges. Even the fact that they're asking for a report from the judges is at least a step in the right directions and have people justify their scorecards should be happening at every fight that there's controversy. Nevertheless, what do you think who do you think won the fight? Reminded me a little bit of Cambodia's and teofimo lope has been, you know, it was a huge upset as you said. Huge. And oh, it was almost a huge job set. I'm sorry. And it was along the lines of what was happening with Cambodia's and theophylline. That was supposed to be admin. You know, you're supposed to watch fight watch TV or film or get rid of the guy. You know, I wanted to round blow him out of there and what happens. The opposite and it can't boasts his white opponent off drop some point drops him. And here you have to same thing to a certain extent. You know, you have to roll South Pole. Big, big, big underdog. He drops them, you know? Not supposed to be in the ring with him. And the only difference, of course, was the outcome that he didn't get the upset. But he got something pretty close to it, you know, his stock raised. He got everyone's attention. In some ways, I know this sounds crazy. But what's your feeling about this? David discussion on this, in some ways, it almost didn't matter. I know what you're saying, but I'm sorry. That was for all the belts. No, no, of course. You got to win. And you want to win. But it almost doesn't matter in a way where the attention that he's getting from this is even greater than he would have gotten just from winning. Probably. Yeah. I mean, if you want, listen, he's celebrating in his home country and boxing takes note, but it doesn't get the bullhorn effect that this is getting. It doesn't. Yes, but you would be the first one to say when someone gets screwed out of a job out of a fight like this. He's back to he might not go back to the back of the line, but he's not near the back of the line. Because the other guy will Taylor says he's moving up. Now all the belts go back to the sanctioning bodies. They go through their bullshit. But this guy's had the front of the line now. This guy has everyone's attention. This guy had never been at the back of line unless he loses after this. One or two. But no, listen, this guy's gonna live in front of the line though. All the titles were on the, you know, all the bullshit you have to go to get them together. But yeah, but this guy's gonna, this guy isn't a fertilizer. He's gonna get he's gonna get something. If it's not a rematch, it's gonna be, you know, it's gonna be a title fight. He's gonna get something and he might even get a reverse on a decision because politics have who knows. I'm not saying he will. But I'm telling you, he's gonna get something. He's gonna get some dramatic because it's dramatic because they're making a dramatic. And you know what? I don't think it belongs dramatic. As you said, I agree. I've seen much worse, much worse. I mean, I probably see worse next week. Because you can count on that. Yeah, stick around. Yeah, you could count on that. And when I was caught up in ESPN for over 20 years, every week, I was like, well yeah, this is a terrible, but next week would be worth. Because it happened again. And it's not near the worst at all. When I rewatched it and I had to rewatch it because of the outcry I figured it'd be fair. Yeah, I had technically I had cut a roll winning by one or two points. And I had some even rounds in there. That belonged to them. I had them winning technically. But it reminds me of somewhere and I don't care if you get a little penknife out now and you're ready to pump me. Well, I got holes all over me. It don't matter. I take a trick of water that I sprinkle. It's okay. Go ahead. But be reasonable, little I know fans aren't reasonable. But be a little rational, a little reasonable, but with what I'm about to tell you. You just hear it. Don't just feel it. Hear it. And what I'm saying is, I mean, it's reminiscent of you go back to Trinidad and Bill oya. And technically won that fight..

"Let's start the end all be all of boxing. Canelo Álvarez. He's the pound for pound king. He now has his 2022 schedule pretty much locked up. At one point I thought he was going to fight four times this year. It looks like it's going to be three. Which still for a fight at his stature is amazing. But he takes zone slash matchroom deal. We talked about this a couple weeks ago. He had two deals on the table, one from PVC, which, according to Mike Carpenter reports, was up to a hundred million for two fights. One against Charlotte and may, the other one against David Benavidez in September. Instead, he takes a $100 million deal from the zone with a pending option for a third fight, which would bring it up to one 60. First fight may 7th, single to my weekend, him versus Dmitry bald, but finalized has been announced. Then triple G handles business in his next fight in a unification bout. Then beats Rio and that fight, then those two would close the trilogy in September. And something I didn't think because that would be a war, no matter how you slice it, then Canelo the third fight would be December, which looks like going up to Cruiserweight. And he's still the mandatory there. So I mean, that is a packed schedule for a 160 mil. Am I crazy for thinking if he pulls off these three fights, he'd have a better year than he had last year? Nah, I mean, first of all, I've watched people on Twitter say the dumbest shit. Canelo was a ducking jamel Charlotte. Yeah, he's ducking David Benavidez. But I don't know how many years I've been saying this, but the name of the title, that's not what we can do. Can I fight Charlotte if you ain't got no belt? Why would you not fight Benavidez? Those are two fights that sound good to a lot of people. I want to see those fights. But they have nothing for Canelo. Other than to appease y'all who want to see him fight and cash those two guys out who have nothing. That's such a weird thought process. Some of my God, my family was like triple Jesus and have a title, but I was like, we've all does. Has the title in the triple G fight will make him just as much if not more than both the Charlotte and Benavidez fight. So why wouldn't he take that deal? I don't understand what people want canola to do because Benavidez, he could have had the fight if he didn't lose it on the scale and to cocaine. Charlotte, he had to move up and wait. Right? So he's fighting a smaller guy. That's the first thing everybody will say. Can I know if I need a smaller guy? Meanwhile, the vault is a legit 175 pound champion. And there's an unfinished business with triple G and if Canada just goes out there and beats triple G, he puts that one to rest, he hits his title from Duval, and if he fights for Cruiserweight in Mexico or whatever he wants to do, it's a huge year for him. I don't understand what people want from canal anymore. They're critical about them and they say he's not that good. Yes, he is. Have you seen him? Yeah, he's that good. He's better. He's doing all else on the planet. Yeah, he's the best fighter in the world right now. And I know a lot of people say, well, what about Terrence Crawford? Look, Terrence Crawford is not making business deals like Canelo Woods. 'cause I was a whole country behind. Well, half a country. Depending on who you talk to, that's from Mexico. There's people that hate can anyone Mexico. But the fact remains that Canelo is a huge star and he's made himself that way, and he's made all the right moves to continue to be a huge star. Crawford has not done that. Crawford, we're going to talk about the Josh Taylor Jack cattle fight, but if Crawford can't find a way to land arrow spends fight, he's stuck in the mud. He'll never pass Canelo. Ever. He ain't but can I was doing all the right thing? Regardless. No, there's nothing alas canola was the fall for cliff, like literally go hiking and fall off a close lift and hurt himself. Or he has to lose a bunch of times. Terrace Crawford can't there's nothing you can do unless he layers like a PBC deal or he finds a way to be a free agent, takes a little less money for bigger fights. But I don't think that's in Terrence Crawford's mentality, but cadel has done all the right things. This man becomes a Cruiserweight champion too. You forget about it. We're not talking about the best right now. We're talking about all time great. He's trying to get there. And yeah, he's got some work to do, but damn. He's fighting three to four times? Three to four times a year. And this era is crazy, but he's doing it. I think he's already the greatest Mexican boxer ever. Would you say? Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's pretty, he's there. He's there. I mean, the only thing he can do is blow it by losing, but we just don't necessarily see him losing to anybody. A lot of them lost at the end, right? The greatest of all time for many people's Ali lost at that, yeah, I just don't see anyone and losing while daring it to be great is different. Like if you.

"Slash distorted view. Okay three very quick stories. Now i love it when perverts get caught doing something and they got scramble and of come up with an explanation. Some of their excuses are quite creative. And i think. I've got a new one here today. Never heard this defense. A teacher lost his job for being inappropriate to female students and staring at their bodies specifically there s josh taylor fifty three invaded the personal space of girls as young as seventeen during an english class on september. Twenty seven back in two thousand eighteen. The students reported the incidents issue was investigated and the teacher was fired. Happened over there. In wales the teacher later appealed the decision launching four claims of his own against the school where he had worked for twenty three years. He's been successful with some of those claims but a judge has again ruled that the teacher exhibited inappropriate behavior of a sexual nature teacher again. His name is josh taylor. Josh taylor's defense is he wasn't able to even stare at the girls even if you wanted to. He's like blind as a bat you see. His eyesight is affected by his diabetes. And normally he wears glasses or contacts but on this particular day he was wearing old contact lenses at made his vision all blurry and it gave them a headache. The tribunal heard quote due to this and he couldn't stare at anything. He said he wasn't in a position to stare at anyone with focus particularly on that day and he was not looking at those people sexually. You wouldn't have even been able to make out one tent. You know the tits were all blurring together chest stomach face. It was all a blob. That defense did not work because the panel believed the young girls version of the events girl said That the teacher used to set them work and then he would walk around the class appearing to look at their work but actually looking down there tops instead they also said would look at their bottoms as they left the room for a break. Other pupils complained. About taylor's bad appearance in hygiene and he would make students fail. You probably would fail the really attractive one so that they would again be in his class. I love this guy was just like a fucking nasty staring at underage girls tits in ass fucking gusting bad hygiene. Greasy hair stunk. The real fucking mess around four months before the lesson taylor had already been given a warning for emphasizing. The word cock in a female pupils name like the students name was like tricia. Cock burn tricia. Are you present miss cash. Burn real slick.

The unions obviously are objecting. Even though they're cooperative obnoxious while it's also self-defeating kinda thing but the reason. I wanted to bring it up was because of the red sox one of the players who is admired for being straight talker as anybody. I can remember in my decades living in boston in his chris. Sale sale just was out for x. Number days because he got co. But i think for the second time. He's a star pitcher for the red sox don't know and he was asked that question and are you vaccinate. The answer is no no follow up. No nothing what happened to the straight talk express one of the reasons if the red sox don't make the playoffs even though as the moment appears they will that they wouldn't is because they've had so many players out because the covert nineteen because of what. I consider to be the lack of concern for your teammates in your team. What is the deal with him. Does anybody know what's what's going on. I mean listen. I don't know chris sale personally Outside of having a couple of conversations with him In the clubhouse when we were allowed to have those years ago now i don't know he did not offer did not offer a explanation as to why he won't get vaccinated Tom goodwin the teams. I face coach goes also unvaccinated. Josh taylor is also unvaccinated reliever and the reason these are starting to come out is because if you are not everyone has admitted their vaccination status on the red sox but if you're a close contact like a good winner at taylor even if you don't contract cove in nineteen you're subject to stricter rules in isolation and quarantine policies than than your teammates. What's interesting jim. Is that indicates goodwin who is their first base coach Major league baseball is requiring all managers and coaches to be vaccinated in order to have contact onfield contact with players in the postseason. Goodman will not good will not be able to unless each has a change apartment has to be an mri vaccine vaccine. Which is the the two part. Once i don't think johnson and johnson it sounds like johnson and johnson won't how am corrects. Not that it's not an mr on a does not run. Yeah it's not you know so it's not a one shot deal he is. I don't know what they're gonna do but they're going to find new first base coach. You must be through the roof. I don't know this guy. Tom goodwin from a hole in the wall. "I'm like this, this can get ugly and you know, credit to him and he's pitched well all season. Well and let's let's faith. You know, the Red Sox even if they had lost that game yesterday, even if they were no-hit, they still split the series at worst case. And that's not terrible considering the Red Sox would have been, you know, 60/40 that's 600 ball. After a hundred games, that's still pretty great but the come back and win that game. And I thought Taylor was the significance of Josh Taylor to me, is the fact that I'm more just went on the injured list and, you know, you're talking about a Red Sox bullpen that, you know, Adam ottavino has had its ups and downs. Right. And you know, I think what we're going to do is, you know, mostly UPS early in the season but you're talking about a guy that has really been a stabilizing force in the middle. Part of that Bullpen, especially wage to help. Cora get to the back end, get to Matt Barnes and keep in mind, like Ryan Graves you're still out like they haven't had them all season. I mean, I was a guy that we know Even last year, he pitched pretty well last year, but like it's like, it's a pretty much a person that you can sort of depend on it and in the seventh inning, and they've had to sort of peace, peace, that, you know, part of the rotating part of the bullpen up and, and sort of, you know, mix and match. And, and here's, you know, Josh Taylor Who's like the, the, the ideal matchup guy, and not just not just the ideal match up. Cuz I think I might be discrediting him a little bit. He's the ideal reliever to get guys out. I mean, I'm at last two years ago, he might have been the ideal matchup guy for people on base, but he's turned into a different Beast this year..

"Is and Josh Taylor. Oh yeah. I mean, he's yeah he's been awesome. I mean that, that run was incredible. Um, you know, and and but also that run came after, I mean brutal month of April, right? I mean even terrible. And so, I think that that adds to in a little bit where like it's it's just guys, we haven't necessarily seen do this enough to feel real real comfortable right now. To me, I don't think we should be relying a lot on Chris Sale. He, you, we expect him to be back right off Late. July early August right? Yes, he's going to be on track. He's already thrown rehab starts, correct, but he's been throwing some games and stuff. His first three of them I think is this week, but yeah, there you go. He's going to start throwing in rehab outings. Get him back. Lets Say by writer actually ironically right around the trade deadline. And not, let's say, and let's say, he gives you ten starts over the final two months of the season. Is that fair maybe 8 to 8 to 10? Yeah, something like that. And you know, he's young lady that when, if he's on and he's giving you five to six out Innings every night and they're eighty percent of what he was. I think that's the best you could Hope For Paws. Yeah. Oh no, yeah, I completely agree with you. I don't think that you can look at him and expect him to be, you know, Sai Young. You know, perennial Scion candidates. I Young Chris Sale but I think he could be. I think that's the biggest boost. They're going to get in the rotation, right. I just don't see them going out and trying to find some errors or I just don't think it's going to happen. So so I think I'm going to have to you need, need a volunteer to keep pitching like this which is maybe not the dominant Ace type guy, but he's been very good. If you got to get Iran to figure something out and and be more consistent than than get some version of sale. And if you can run those three guys in the playoffs, then now you're may be talking about something..

After about Bannon I come here. I just think in the spelt just jail. Because obviously trains Billie Joe Israel on La Custodial his speed and combination and food work. You know so. I thought it'd be a good match up and feel comfortable in annex eight further. She hopes I was glad. You Want Obama. Do not take anything away from on Burke's coach but a lot of failures have a certain standard yeah. I don't think you'd better. Yeah but I'm not no automatic coaches. Well it was. It was very good. Because of course you're in the Corden last by that but I think anybody watching these knows anything about. Yeah of course you know tossing a fringe as well when Keep putting these right because it does simply bow down to that just because I'm not financially benefiting from a situation doesn't mean he's not my friend anymore. We'll come on to that because I know you toss fury fantasy. We'll come into the fight. Second offer the show for those of you watching and listening. We don't often hear about the side of the train is experienced. When there's a split with the fights over they retire or whether you part ways Tyson. Speaking stay co about the void that was left when Belgium hung them up last year. And how that's been a big adjustment period for him over the last twelve months for you. Obviously we've talked for years and years and years but journey was so intense and so hands on and so committed from both of your sides that when that comes through in our magin takes a bit of adjusting for us. Well Yeah of course. She knows it was a twenty four seven job literally twenty four seven three hundred sixty five days a year so it took up a Omar. Tom The last couple of years and I was walking again. We believe in being contacted about the judge situation as well and it was. Actually that wasn't nice to part ways we talked and it was nice to have a little bit of towns myself over the Christmas period as well because for the last three years. Christmas is both days all of that of always been away so it was Nice Avenue bad time to myself as well call you know yourself. You're in a similar situation to Josh where he left the train. But you're the peak of your career. So uconn yeah. We see prospects changing coaches nearly stages of their careers trying to work out. What's best for them? But at this stage of your career when you're changing trainers there's very low margin for error because you're essentially going into big fight off the big fight. There's no easy ones from from this point and the stakes. Obviously a high they she if you particularly and I know you had the same when you left and found. Jamie more you have to fit that has to be has to be someone that you work well with and you agree with their methods and their approach to Faden and the approach they take to fight and training camps and everything else and even just as well so I had a few trainers in mind when I when I joined Jimmy Mira when I left the mcguigan. Sorry Jimmy was the first one that I want on. It just felt a real quick and someone. I didn't do the Josh John Was. He went to show morale's I really. I felt like a fitted in well not jim elect. Jimmy was saying and that was enough for me maybe another two or three guys and manned and everything's a lot of contacting a member of the thing that just just well Jimmy. You obviously need that time to Joe did you. Fought for the Horatio Garcia. I'll say the thing short camp and the approach gender did for a faith and I had six weeks and it wasn't like wasn't forced and the woman felt like the right decision for me to make but it was fast approaching my return defect and again. I knew I needed a coach as well so it was kind of half blood that he was the first guy. Because maybe if I'd have went with someone else with a short space of time I made a one of them because I was getting close. The approaching afraid of in my head. Peter has one solace was one because he was given. Hey and autumn booth was in my head as well as a potential trainer but gave me was the first one to. I'm glad that by the time he then had to build towards the thought. You need that nine months together to Joe was a pairing the two big Of You guys will have the same thing when you come to. Maybe that fight with Ramirez. If he's later this year were next year so in it in a sense. Who's this happened? On some of that you've been mandated for these fights. The ones that you want to have as your first one together. Because you don't really ben one walk into a fight with Joseph Ramirez after you know working with someone for for fourteen sixteen weeks yet your son degree but I feel like she's a similar character to us. Latino Arkansas of quickly understand what type of person he is emotionally how he's mentally and you can see in the build up to previous fought speak fuzzy's had how approaches those flights in that mine and stylistically. I understanding on the standard shrimps on the season. He's the level of far to where you can make adjustments. And of course you can improve them. I do believe even without those adjustments. He's good enough to beat Ramirez in my opinion. Okay but I mean the criticism that you had when you first came on the scene was always baseness your age and your relative inexperience coach and obviously ninety nine percent of thousands. Of course after that I say while to fight for you was the way the Ben led the corner that night and the call. Mri showed on the the highest lakes possible. Was that one of the things that made you think he could guide meter in these big before. It was so a clips trained Tyson. An over the belly. Joe's will stay there. Were walking on the combinations of movement head movement and the speed and the feet were really similar that we can boxing can train. You know. So he's going to move up. Can I WANNA go with an officer? The Way Komo boat and then you hear his vase in the corner breaks the FE and just this knowledge of this book is broken these on the twenty seven. Yeah SMARTS WAY I. How actually apologized when he billy Joel was an was fighting. Someone in eastern. And you're in the corner and it was the first real appearance from you. Remember thinking it was a bad reform from billy Joel but remember thinking urgency in the corner but enhance sake. We nine Billie Joe wasn't fed and there was no word because every fucking if you'd have been too on top on the corner of Blue Gosden. Yeah you may have lost a fake. I have apologize for for what would be joe quite a few years before that and new obviously spend that training camp with him along with Jimmy Tibbs couple of weeks before five ways we Jimmy and I knew what was in the tank and I knew that we had to efficient in getting around management was very in Poland. Now what might be Joe take some out take and I know what doesn't so I knew when to push him on because the bill judge J fogg told him you'll stay around he was gonNA thank you ever to win the next round. We couldn't afford to do that. She was just about around. I think people always associate age of experience but I was lucky enough to spend time around people Jimmy Tubes and very knowledgeable guys which I gained a hell of a lot from a non round management. They something picks up from Jimmy tibbs unquote. That's the best about will the faces a new face on the managing high profile fights is that had it been Jimmy Tibbs in the corner. People would've assumed they obviously there's something going on with because it's you the first people reach for is does this guy know is doing and they look at your age and then say that's the about faces of training. I would like to think the performances in the corner over the last couple of years of giving people realize the what you're about the same as forty one performance and people jump on until fully. Understand that it's the same for everybody and anybody in high high profile situation. There's going to be downstairs. This'll your options for this year. And so this apponaug on some who's been mandated by the whole hangs told me there's there's no much online a couple of eight and it's only a few Ranjha so it does vary toll but it looks like he punched his heart but very wailed in so it raw keith. My on the ball. Nothing I don't think I can handle and I'm sure we'll get him and it's GonNa be if Shedu lineup is going to potentially a week or two before Pasta and Ramirez do you think about what's Outgo. Yeah it'd be for going and build for Boeing and I am to life and then pick up tips and hopefully put myself a fight after the end result and get myself a fight for their unification of the belts. It's good to be there as well as trying to make and just to be present. Boca players and people started talking about the more that Josh and say.
