"Kentucky is a worse by giving who kentucky loss and how they lost dukes. Two losses are defensible. Pretty good teams but they do not inspire confidence when you watch. Do play basketball. It is not a team that you're like all right. If they can clicks a few things they're going to be pretty good they just they're just not a good basketball team and forgive me given his past like again. It's funny because to you. This is this is old head. But you know i'm just getting fired up because it's it seems like a cop out. It seems like he. We live in these this time where you could say as we've joked many times on the show and the interest of safety and wellbeing of our players i didn't yeah and then you can literally say anything and then everyone's like well. We can't criticize this guy now. Because obviously he's he's. He's looking out for his players. If coach k. Doesn't wanna play if he doesn't want to seem to play don't play. Nobody stop and you can take your what they've decided. They decided they're done with non conference. Good for you be done. You don't have to go on a you. Don't have to stand on your soapbox right after you get your brains beaten by illinois and say i don't know of college basketball should be playing when the rest of college basketball's doing just fine. It's always the coaches again. I'm very fighter all that she talk. It's always the coaches though tate. Jim boeheim the same thing. We called him out for this halftime. He's losing a bryant and he says. I don't know if we should be playing this game. I don't know you could have said that before the game. You could've said any other time you wait till you're losing at home to bryant a halftime to say. This coach gay could have said this on friday. They'd be beller mean which is a parentheses team. I don't even know what state that is. Put in parentheses and let me know they destroy beller me. He very easily could come out after that game and done of public dang video that he shot in his office with the usa logo. On his thing. And said. I don't think we should be playing. I know we just one. I know we're back on the winning ways after we lost michigan state. Now we just one all. That's great. I don't think we should be playing. Maybe do it then. Came like what's change between friday now. What has changed nothing. its. I'm the i'm the guy that got a guy. Got our butts. Beat we got our butts. Beat that's what he kept saying after the game I don't think it feels right to anybody and shut up to josh graham. Because josh graham is a local radio guy he. Actually we interned at the same place. David glib radio show. He asked this question to coach k. He baited him into this and he asked him if it felt right and coach k. You know immediately took that bay because he said you know what. It really doesn't feel right because now is the time to strike. Now is the time to get ahead of narrative. Now is the time to point out that i. I don't know who handles college basketball. I don't know the best part about this. He goes marquette is we made an assessment. We made an assessment and then he said. I'm not sure who leads college basketball so he rent. There's a contradict. he's says. We made college basketball. Which you saw the headlines. He said put everybody in the tournament. He's let's get everybody in there. He said we gotta play this tournament son. Because if we don't play this sort of it's over we gotta play. Is it put him in. He's like we made the assessment. We said that. And i've been now. He said i'm not sure who leads college basketball. You leading coach k. You're the leader. You're the only the most powerful voice. Yeah you say that. There's all these committees. we know. Condoleeza rice is up there. We know she's on these committees. You know we know. This stuff is colin powell on a committee. Also we know this stuff is happening. But at the end of the day coach k. You are right as you were saying But we saw the graphic. You said you didn't know if you could see. Brad underwood winning in cameron indoor. But we did see the graphic duke laws multiple non conference games at cameron indoor for the first time in thirty seven years. Yes that that is true. That is where we are and that is where coach k.'s. And coach k. Was taken into this question by josh graham. As i had mentioned he brought up coach steve. Forbes coach steve. Forbes is the controversy king of college basketball right now i we get a livia sar drama over the offseason. He goes with josh games. Radio show he basically calls out. Coach calipari grandbaby coach forbes it then coach kaye briggs in coach forbes into this press conference he says i've texting wake forest coach coach forbes right now late at night coach k. Is i had no idea. They had this relationship but coach forbes kid had cova and five players in wake forest so they had this whole conversation. The coach case like in personal experience. He's also dragging coach forbes into the forefront to make him be the fall guy johnson cases comments. Don't land you know what i mean. This actually was coach forbes idea. He's the one that brought this up to me. And then he into player safety was you and i said every player safety first podcast. I always have been always have been always will be the mental and physical health of the players and the staff. You know we. We are always going to put that first and foremost he says they have to assess that but like you mentioned he. You know if you want to play the game. Don't play the games play hard. Like if you're not gonna play gardner webb. That's the point. I guess like being lost is that a lot of thanks. Wednesday will.

"Today's of Titus. We are talking to our good friend. Samphan SEANEY NBA draft expert from the athletic He talked man. We talked to him for a little while we we had him on for Olympic about the logistics of the draft on the prospects. He likes Kind of stuff to conversation yet. It's one of those things where as we inch closer to You know trying to figure out what the plan is for the Vienna. They're having a practice facilities or opening mother having like a call with all the players and teams all the GM's everyone on tomorrow mark addressing things. So we'll get some clarity there but before that we just wanted to talk about prospects because usually we would do that every single year. So we're trying to find some noisy so it was already going to be a very weird draft and then a global pandemic and now it is the weirdest draft of all time. Now it's too weird and now you're just kind of like you're like I don't even know if I WANNA watch that. Say Nyerere Take Idiots so we had to bring him to provide some expert. Thought we don't have those accounts where we can watch like second tier Greek Leagues. And Right. Now we don't have those credentials. I get this We'll we'll be talking to him a little bit later. I where you're going to talk to Tom. Harris strove a wake forest alum. Nbc Sports NBA insider We talked to him because tape wake forest. Is All the talk of College Basketball Right now? They they're beefing with Kentucky Steve Forbes for three days and he's already started beef John Calipari. He's in his corona virus. I don't think I've thought about wake forest basketball this much. Ten years is incredible. Yes the bane of the ACC has a mask on. He's not afraid of anyone He throws it down. And he's down to throw down the GonNa with Kentucky with coach cow with the credentials of the University of Kentucky itself. He wants to let people know that. Wake forest is a great degree. We gotta get into all the beef. And we'll talk to Tom about what he thinks about. Wake forest waking the nation because I- it's in that vein because of this feud going on tate and I are going to rank our top five favorite college basketball of all time. Yes I am so excited for that because I have a list of at least sixteen it down to five is going to be quite the experience. We have very very jampacked. Show as I'm sure you can tell for the runtime you clicked on. Play this episode of its Corinthian. You have nothing else to these hunker down and listen to the whole damn thing right. We're going to get all all of what we just described but I would he do. We have a lot to get to and and not a ton of time Which isn't exactly true but I just trying to be mindful of the time for all the people listening here but let's just dive right into it. This this force thing has become. It's unbelievable Steve Forbes. I thought his introduction. We kinda talked about on the last show is an introduction that you and I will never forget The whole dynamics of the whole thing of having the guy take the whistle in spike is spiking at Corona virus. Mask at the center. Core was was something else. There's a new development here tate because right after he he takes the job right after he makes the video I think Linear SAR. Who is wake forest? Best Returning Player yes. Innards the transfer portal And the time. It is hilarious because it really was like right. After the video comes out newsbreaks this ours is going to transfer And then Steve Forbes goes on the podcast of a guy by are they related. We do not know they may be related. Because let me tell you if I'm alleviate I see that video I put my name in the transfer right. We end my ground here. And he said his nightmares. The transfer parties like every coach. Just hoping that no one signs in the transfer. Puerto the timing the timing of it all and then So Star puts his name in the transfer. Puerto Steve Forbes goes on grass grams podcasts. Which you can share your little store here you josh. Graham has a band that you've known will josh. Graham is a triangle. Sports radio phenomenon. Really he's a young Doogie Howser He and I both were interns for David. Glenn The Dave Radio. Show people that know in the triangle he was around when Bomani Jones was there at the radio show. We were both interns at the same time. Josh is a very great guy but he also he protects triangle sports. And he's not GonNa put up with Kentucky sports fans and I do know that. So here's the story. So so Steve. Forbes goes on dry screens podcast is. They're talking about star. I mean presumably because he says the quote that upset everybody in everybody. I mean Biglou nation. Why would you go to wait? Wait for three years. Put all that time into this prestigious degree. Then get your degree from a place like Kentucky. That's what I'd say that. Got a chuckle out of him so so cram was asking him. How are you going to keep SAR basically from from leaving? Wake Forest Disorders. Like I'm going to try do all. I can't get his name out of the portal. He throws a Haymaker Kentucky. He follows it up by saying I mean no disrespect to Kentucky is. Of course he doesn't that was that's not what he meant. No disrespect disrespect. So as you imagine Kentucky fans do not take this. Well they do not take this lightly by the way the exact same day that this happens that C. for makes these comments SAR officially committed to Kentucky. Yes yes yes which is offaire all bear for Sar- SAR- is keeping up with the media. Psycho these the headline these like more definitively go to junkie. Lock it in definitely. Don't care about all this is So Kentucky fans get upset Air Cal Perry daughter of Of John Head coach at Kentucky. Obviously I didn't realize this. She's a wake forest graduate so she lives in and she says as a wake force graduate on. This is on twitter. I still think it's completely unacceptable. Incredibly elitist to act like the University of Kentucky isn't a top academic institution. Uk is a world leader in many fields including my own. So she chimes it as as someone who has has a rooting interest both parties along. So then Graham says the Kentucky. He goes on to show the next the next day. Whatever it is 'cause out the Kentucky Sports Radio People says they're losing their mind calls big blue nation the most nauseous fan base and apparently according to Matt Jones Twitter Because Matt Jones listened to the podcast. You're loving this. The Patriarchy of Kentucky Sports Radio Match. He says that really is a mold. South. That's all I hear like eastbound down according to listen the show but according to Maj on twitter Graham was apparently playing banjos and saying that people talking and mocking their accidents. Like just just on and on like basically stayed. I going to dedicate my entire show. Tomorrow is like East Coast West Coast rap by battle between these two places man. This is awesome. This is the most unlikely beef I I could have could have ever saw coming to. This is unbelievable. Let me just say I log onto twitter. I saw this. I couldn't believe it and then I was like man I really hope a Monte Jones's this and then I looked down Bomani Jones already responded to bad Jones says. Why am my friends fighting? And I'm like this is amazing. This is just like this is what sports talk. Radio is in places like North Carolina and Kentucky. It's beef you know what I mean in it's It's the same people yell at each other and it's awesome and I love it. It's say yeah it's exactly. I mean the Guy Listen. I know wake forest procedures. But I've been to Winston Salem Winston. Salem is not a prestigious place which is why. I'm trying to get way to move back to wake. But the idea of like a guy from Winston Salem North Carolina like making fun of Kentucky for having an accent. Let me just say this Got Josh not even from Winston Salem from eastern North Carolina. I'm pretty sure so that's like where I'm from. Which is like even even worse off you know Shadow Rocky Mountain to point to it reminds me of like Kentucky and West Virginia. We'll play each other in both fan based the other for how they are like yes. It's so funny it's it's a of it so much Yeah that that's that's I don't know I just. I never saw this coming but it doesn't feel like it's going away anytime soon. I'LL BE Steve Forbes. Little we know about him. He seems like a guy who is very much energetic into this. Ed John Calipari as we know is video. Bogle who is going to be playing the headline game especially at a time like this where people are desperate for headlines. Desperate for content. I don't see this going away anytime soon. I will tell you this The most prominent wake forest figure that out in the World Right. Now get ready because coffee with cow is. You're getting a call producer is calling you and Dave Odom is going to be on coffee with someone from wake forest is going to be on with Calif. It's going to be Chris Paul and yes. There's going to be Hammond with cal. They're going to be talking about like he's going to start Chris. Paul is GonNa Inadvertently Recruit for Kentucky. He's going to go on the show to address this in that he's GonNa inadvertently gas up. How great callous. Dammit that I just registered crew for Kentucky. What just happened coach Calcium by Chris? Let's be honest if I if I was putting a Tina. Go Two thousand four from coming to your school and I'm talking to you. You GonNa Complain. For me and Chris I you know coach I love you so much and then like that's clipped out video and it's like Chris Paul would have gone to Kentucky and mine. I my big question is like so I know how Kentucky fans feel about this sort of thing not necessarily I don't really I I know how Kentucky fans feel about getting in the mud. I know how they feel about John. Calipari in his daughter Chiming in on twitter. This is something this is a road. They've been down before I would. I'm fascinated by is wake forest fans like that perspective. Which is why we call Tom. Haberstroh we talked to him about this. Because Danny Manning was a coach. That did not do the stuff. It's been a long time since wake forest has been in the news. Fight like this Steve Forbes on the job he's been on the job for basically a week and he's already big huge slashes left and right up so we wanted to get the perspective of Wake Forest Fan and instead of guessing how they feel go straight to the source. That is what we did. We talked to Tom. Haberstroh here. It is here's what he had to say are joining us now is NBC sports NBA insider. He he has a podcast. Great title. This podcast the Habur show podcast. It is Tom. Harris Show. More most importantly his wake forest graduate..

"Welcome back to the GMC Social Media News podcast before the break. We were talking about a couple of stories stories that went viral for very happy reasons which always makes me happy as well. Our next story is also a story that went viral but not necessarily for you know like happy reasons. This is more silly reasons this time of year. We talk a lot about candy because Halloween is coming up and there is a viral map that shows America's favorite movie candy by State but apparently it's very very wrong so let's see the I like to look at the states that I am from Montana. They have butter crunch okay California they have dot's my husband does really like dots and he lives in California although he's from Ohio and they have that as candy corn. Maybe that's terrible. No I clearly cannot read Oh sorry no that was not that was not near a great lakes that is not okay so six. Let's maybe yeah. I lived in Texas Black Licorice blow. Hey Look yeah okay so let's find out why hi this how did was there any sort of research on this or did they just make a map so junior men's sour patch kids in ems are all oh candies that many people frequently enjoy movie theaters across the country baked beans decidedly not not anymore. I think they used to be more popular on Monday. Sunday the Lights Camera Barstool podcast which describes itself as a movie podcast for the common man and frequently covers new films and pop culture posted a graphic nick with a map of all fifty states each filled in with a different candy or in some cases a bazaar food item. The map showed the map claims to show off America's Erica's favorite movie theater candy by State Utilizing data from Walmart target and social media so is that why Walmart Martin target is it because they sell the movie theater boxes of Candy. I don't know The tweet from Lights Camera pod says as we head into October here's a great breakdown of every State's favorite movie candy. What does your State Lake and then there is the map that I was referencing earlier while the map fully discloses that these highly dubious results are quote unquote unofficial people are not happy with the candy many of the candies shown the tweet has garnered more than three thousand retweets and forty forty fourteen thousand lakes since it was first posted and it was posted on September thirtieth so in just a few days but we have a sneaking suspicion according to this article the whole thing may be a big joke? Probably they're getting clicks or likes are getting comments. Ripe among the usual suspects like butter crunch. Montana Reese's racist pieces are some very odd picks licorice. Maybe I don't know dumb dumbs. Actually you know what my parents at my parents movie theater they they don't sell the dumb dumbs but they sell the Oh what are they the kind of powdery chucky what are called. I can't remember but they they're very popular. circus peanuts yet know who buys who what what movie theater several circus peanuts apparently people in Wisconsin have never been to any movie theater theater ever kraft cheese slices are listed as that state's favorite movie and it has to be a joke that is hilarious oh MVP he Hashtag Mvp Matt at Josh Graham. I am replying to outlets camera pod says make sense in highlight and focused in on the part of the map showing Florida and their favorite candy apparently early is dumb dumbs yeah okay so Lights Camera Barstool team was not immediately available for comment and despite the IT suspicious or the suspect results social media's having a field day with this map of course one read at poster confirmed milk duds is definitely tops in Indiana the Anna source and from Indiana but overall many people just had a lot of issues with the types of candy being named Mike at Talking Nothing tootsie rolls is this nineteen forty eight Helen Noble at Punch Tina said circus peanuts. Let's nobody eats circus peanuts. We don't even sell them. Somebody made this up. It's not real do they. Why do they still make circus peanuts? Somebody has to be buying them because if if they're still making them I I don't know even Dallas Fort Worth International Airport chimed in say they were above liquorice in Texas they tweeted as seen seen by other comments with baked beans cheese slices and bunch of crunch. This map is less than accurate to say the least we are above liquorice and yes. This is not an airport speaking on behalf of the entire state of Texas. Also please pass the EMINEM's. I've said it before but I very much appreciate people who are in charge official twitter accounts places like this that you know can kind of make light of the certain things that just makes me laugh. There are some very creative if people in the world The podcast guys shot back saying the airports sky-link moves too slow. They said you're really putting bunch of crunching quotes like it isn't a real thing thing a candy sold in almost every theatre in the country all right. DFW Airport in in parentheses the sky-link moves too slow by the way mm-hmm when someone or some argued about wisconsinite supposed love of cheese even in a Durkin theater the podcast team respond responded numbers don't lie what numbers Walmart even in even chimed in it says North Dakota are talking Boston beans or and baked beans not judging either way yeah I see now I'm just picture exhibited in a theater with pack of cheese slices and a can of pick defended. I think I need sleep because it's not it's way funnier than it. Actually is. yeah okay so let's move because I could laugh at this. I I don't know if bunch of crunches inches Montana's favorite candy who knows it could be but I really don't think so my parents don't sell their theater nothing against it but what what one of the most popular things that they sell in their theater they sell a lot of we go through phases. They go through phases. I say we as though so I'm there but they go through phases of things. Lake Reese's peanut butter cups of course are very popular. different kinds of EMINEM's mentos are pretty popular who they go through a lot of those things that are less popular the take longer I ah skills people skills so yeah I don't know I I don't know about bunch of crunched but you know this very very clearly clearly scientific it's very clearly it's clearly very scientific and very accurate but you should check it out. See what your state shows as supposed- Favorite Movie Theater Candy and then you could tell me in comments on social media what you actually eat when you go to the movie. What do I eat when I go to? I like popcorn of course when I'm eating chocolate. It's usually either a receives or a snickers but usually popcorn when I go popcorn and drink and that's been to a movie in so long. I can't even remember the last movie I went to. That's that's terrible okay. We're GONNA take our second break of the podcast and when we come back we.

"Here's the give again it's Katie Stokes and Stokes tries to push the pile this time gets across the fifteen and up to the sixteen yard line sets up now third down and about four needed for the first four Walton and quickly the raiders back over the ball and watches right at their Brooks there big time because the tackle had to come out for one plate for the losses hypocrites of I'm what's up with the tech right where he right where he is third down and four from their own sixteen yard line Roseman barking out signals the snap back sets up hit is the release is ball flutters on it throws it into traffic did anybody come away with it there were three defenders there for Norcross and they all ran into each other a couple guys that we're gonna play manner one of the guys that was shaken up for Norcross was Josh Graham there Ohio state commitment in the secondary and the trainers on the medical staff out to check on those guys there were three defenders in the area two of them collided Graham in and another defender let's head downstairs to Sam Crenshaw Sam it looked like somebody got a piece of rose man's arm when he went to throw the ball and caused it to flutter on it they did that was deflected pass and it looked like sure in an interception of god's going for the ball was which is supposed to do but they were careful to watch out for each other so you got to Norcross players not down on the feel and getting on awful lot of medical attention to see it go to keep Lucas out there see that Gerry Levin good well look who we would at medical and really trains all the athletic trainers at work all of the football games would that count especially at our Norcross Brookwood high school so he is on the field right now it was the jailing garner that got pressure and deliver the hit on Roseman calls the armed account of all the ball a flutter out of his arm and float in the air and again they still medical staff attending to these two young men down the field sidelines on in the end both sidelines of hello taken only this those are the most dangerous of the colleges right there with you don't see him come in like that and when we got the right for the for the football and for the cloud like that let's just hope these two both of these are better okay looks like they're a yeah they are at least sitting up now in the Norcross team will go over to check on their team mates as they are both up in on their feet beginning to work their way off the field it was Ronald Jackson and Josh Graham that collided Graham committed Iowa state both young men a little shaken up we'll see if we see either one of them back on the field now fourth down in for after that in completion ball is on the sixteen yard line with two fifty one to go second quarter Walton in Norcross all knotted up in a seven seven game Walton has it on their own fifteen percent growth in all over the place right now like you said he was the one that came up through the bill or that linebacker blitz and just got beat it just beat the running back I got a handle the quarterback obviously they got to find a way to get HIM block we were looking at a gay were on both sides of the football you seem to diabetic middle linebacker they're making plays all over the field for the team.

"When the quarterback surveys the defense none of the pistol here's the snap here's the gives Stokes right side dips his shoulder at the thirty five and has the first down Stokes gets up signaling firsthand the of referee follows suit in its first down and ten Walton raiders with an offense of line up front of panel Brill at left tackle he's a returning starter Walker Hearst a senior returning starter at center played last year rainy you'll love this with a torn labrum are you a tough kid he either he is a real tough kid out there where he's at a bill that lie they beat him and right now they're moving the ball those men again hands off again it's Stokes hard stood up and then driven back finally cut down stocks continued to fight he ends up losing a yard call at second down and eleven great job by the interior a lot of that they do it to devote a lot of the of the Norcross deep is right there we got caught Carmen lock in a dear Brooks get they penetration beat there may have what I want to make a play in the backfield SO four man front for Norcross of white lark Brooks in Jackson across the front the two seniors in Jackson and white the defensive ends Roseman this now looks to throw has time now scrambles to his right looking down field throws on the run short hops is intended target at the forty five yard line incomplete pass clock will stop would nine twenty nine to go first quarter look like some miscommunication writer Chris all the the quarterback of the receiver right they look like he was trying to to run it through a double right right there but he stopped all the double route third down eleven Walton dressed in blue uniforms white numerals gray pants and white helmets they move somewhere right to left Jalin Patel goes in motion from left to right Roseman now stops looks to the sideline for the play Stokes standing behind him out of the pistol here's the snap as Rosemond drops it off coming out of the backfield and making the catch is Julian bumper in bumper not down almost immediately it was Jaylen garner we talked about it with the pre game and he was the one that read the play beautifully and was able to knock down Stokes or bumper resume guarded he has been all over the bill so far this first drop a wall to be the guy that you got to give the body all of you got to get a head over he's going to make plays like that all the great job if not disagree path work down fourth down a in fifteen and Walton we'll be forced to punt the ball away a high snap and they get away the point that a fair catch is called for by Norcross at around the thirty yard line it was Nick l'engle that got the point away no problem for Walton we had had questions this week about who would end up being in that kicker and punter spot for the Walton writers well we we know at least one of those and now here comes the Norcross offense an offense of line with a lot of beef across the front averaging two hundred and eighty six pounds three sophomore starters a year ago but you're back there all juniors across the offense of front he's Melo says he feels like now this is the strength of the team including feral Glenna returning starter at center at five ten two hundred and forty three pounds Randy I'm just really confused by this this three quarterbacks system but it I've heard of two quarterbacks systems and all that but I'm really see how he's going to get away with playing with these guys it is still a competition that's going into the season or just what I said or this guy how it's going to be all season so he he said he would date none of these guys there's three juniors he said they really haven't separated themselves so Harris Salada is expected to be the guy had to start but we'll see trade Goodman will see Mason Kaplan is this game moves along this is the biggest dynamic because they have it if you call the safe place for each quarter back with me that this is going to be something that that that's really interested all day today is when you decide to play with quarterback we have a how would one have the hot Haiti take about eight forty one to go first quarter wall Norcross with a ball following the Walton point on the opening series and it is Salada who was it at the quarterback position Salada all the jets sweep the handoff goes to Randy Smith around the right side Smith finds room thirty Smith only speak to the forty Smith up to around the forty two yard line and a first down for Norcross really good play call for you personally but the one thing about these for reference is that the pharmacy was don't block you have not been given the great job by the gods of the river the White Sea which he blocked regular but Solana goes to handed off to Caleb check that Michael Porter only offense your Philly the first time and there's our first penalty flag of the game a motion penalty against Norcross so if they don't get that build the the heat that I was a test now right did they did a great job of slowing up that whole right side see if they come back to that on the penalty ball moves back inside the forty it goes down to the thirty eight yard line is Norcross moves from left to right from their own thirty eight four man front to rush for Walton Salado the quarterback out of the pistol the snap bill handed off again here's Porter looking for a whole right side this time the wall to defense was there and they were able to wait on him and robin drew deal with the strong side linebacker made the study came back with that say play Christmas but that's not what is the fifth with repair for to make a nice play right there Michael Porter five nine hundred eighty pound junior for Norcross Walton shows blitz on the right side here they come and so a lot of will keep it the quarterback keeper check that it was Tracy Goodman we knew we would see another quarterback this time it was Goodman that takes the snap in Goodman on the quarterback keeper around the right side picks up a couple of positive yard shy a midfielder does get it across the forty five up to the forty seven yard line they've already made the quarterback saying that that that that the into the good that's what that's what I'm interested see with these guys come in a how the rotating good men out of the pistol with Porter on his left hip Smith goes in motion again across the formation this time to the left side here's Goodman stumbles as he takes the snap and heads to the left side strung out and then cut down nice pursuit sideline to sideline to the Walton defense to stop trade Goodman nice about also elder right there the free safety for walk right here I'd be able to come all the way across the field and make that tack right there to prevent them from getting a first down so it's fourth down and now Norcross will look to put it away killing grave do Peralta he's committed the navy he will be the one to put it away in Walton will send back to return the kick Kay Thompson the sophomore it's a short kick not sure if somebody got a hand up and were able to get a piece of it wobbles towards the right side takes a hard turn is it bounces at the thirty yard line and rolls right down the chalk an out of bounds like we're not that of a split right there Chris but it now but right now Norcross they have got to find a way to get this that same kind of is if they have the last rebel deep is what they were able to get that stopped it's in the gardens able to make plays on their six thirty forty go scoreless first quarter Walton with upon on their first possession Norcross did the same on their opening possession Zack rose within the Walton offense back out to take over Julian bumper behind him the H. back is the junior Tanner Daniels years rose but a throw government wide open at midfield pass is caught and he takes all hard littering the shot was Josh Graham the free safety committed the Iowa state delivered the blow but making the catch was Julian Barbarin bumper check that it wasn't number wall one it was number four that made the catch taegan Barrera and Barrera able to hold on to it first down for Walton in Norcross territory this time the hand off goes the bumper and he'll pick is way off the right side for gain of three second down and seven great job by by the office line that protects right there if you could take a big hit crystallized okay you gotta give kudos that young man and I hang it all too Ferreira a returning starter with the big kitchen wall to now in Norcross territory second down and seven ball at the forty two yard line is the blue raiders moved from right to left Walton wearing blue jerseys gray pants white numerals white helmets here's the give again bumper to the left side gets inside the forty and dives with the football down to the thirty seven yard line right now what would what is there to do an excellent job of being able to get to that second level to get over it you know a guard or center all one of those linebackers and allow the back to make a two way cut off of that block right now right now what's this about the group and I'm sure that Norcross victims of how can we stop at the right now Walter they're given Walton the ability to run it passes that would just make it a one dimensional Moreira and McConnell go out wide to the left side here is the gift to Stoke slanting towards the left to the thirty five yard line should be enough for the first down on a third down.

"Outs. I think are the most over hyped stories that we do but we do it because it's training camp and and and generally like I say unless you unless you're a levy on bell and even what he did last year surprise me where you don't have a contract therefore you're not really a holdout <hes> these guys who have contracts eventually eventually they will sign or maybe one or two we'll get traded but it happens and it's always happened for as as long as I covered the league now Games preseason games yeah watch some of them but let's face it. It's Thursday night kickoff game when the packers embarrassed play. That's when I'M GONNA GET REVVED UP YEP and I'm pretty excited about the browns just for just for Mike say legitimate happy about it. Actually Jesse Better Concerned Act and you when you say Josh Allen is trash. I never said that Josh Graham not there's another life that's one thing about. I've always always loved you but the one thing about watching your show every day is laboratory everybody. They've exposed you that you don't tell the truth I said Aja listen Josh Allen coming out of college at shoot and here's the thing no one knew about this running ability. I mean this guy could be potential thousand yard rusher. You knew nobody knew you said we were supposed to talk about something else so I want to know more the running back most likely to get a deal because he's holding out. Oh more money talk. You Got Easier when Melvin Gordon Ezekiel Elliott. I think Gordon could be troublesome problematic. Maybe maybe he gets money from another team. Maybe it won't be the chargers. The chargers are not a cash-rich team but they may all be operating with the same salary cap but in terms of cash flow the charges you see the stadium they play in. They're not bringing in a lot of cash revenue <hes> whereas the Dallas cowboys are they hurting for cash. No they are not well. Help me understand this more because I don't understand and the business part of this <hes> the Cincinnati bengals are the only team that I believe you could file the accusation. They don't care that much about winning really they care about running. A business and winning is incidental. Are you telling me that that's not true of the chargers <hes> yeah I'm telling Sonja. That's not true of the judge that they care about winning but let's face it from a business standpoint. They haven't been a very good organization Asian <hes> not being in San Diego. I mean there's a lot of reasons we don't have to get into it but <hes> you know they're playing in a twenty five thousand seat stadium. <hes> you know they have to pay right's fees to move into that stadium in Inglewood that the rams are Stan Kroenke is building but in terms of having the type of cash flow you need to and they're gonNA have to pay Philip rivers and they're gonNA have to pay Joey Bosa and I think it running backs generally <hes> get the short end of the stick and the by the way it was my complaint in two thousand eleven and I will say this. I said this to Roger Goodell. The commissioner and I said this the D Smith the executive director of the N._F._l.. Players Association. If you do this rookie wage model. It's gotta be more sophisticated because the running backs to get short shrift. What does their shelf life? We think it's five years right..

"What did you make of the impact that he had and how much did that alter the up between what you had seen in those first two matchups versus versus today. I definitely adds a different dimension to their team. You know, he's really good athlete. And he does a lot of things, you know, they don't have without him. So kind of the way they play defensively. Definitely. And it changes the way they attack. But besides that, you know. You know, they ran the same kind of sets. And you know, we kinda got the same kind of shots that we wanted the first two games. So, you know, he's he's a great player, and he definitely adds something into their team. But that wasn't really the focus for us is for us is coming in and doing what we wanna do. And do we know how to do tour left? Can you guys had a great start or up thirteen than Zayn hit a couple of shots? They put gold wire in the game and seemed to get energized defensively. Did you could you tell a difference in the amount of pressure? They're applying defensively at that point of the game. After you know, he hit those shots and gold argument. They did remember the pressure a little bit as the first half wound on we practice. We practice that. You know, we could have had it a little bit better. And obviously, you know, hindsight being twenty twenty there's things that we would have changed things that we would have done differently would've played like clock offense a little bit better. But you know, we we went out there. And we're fighting the whole time. I don't really think there was many many points in the game where we let up and stop fighting. And we knew this was going to be. Fight. And unfortunately came out on the wrong end. Questions for camera. Cameron. Thanks good job. Question for coach. Josh Graham, the sports hub triad. Coach you've seen every other team ranked in the AP top five. Is it your belief that the ACC should get three number one seeds? Really never get into that kind of thing. I really don't. I can't tell you right now. More than one location for the first round next week. A really just tried to coach my team today to play the best that we possibly could today. Scien- did have a big influence on the game. But injuries are part of the game as well can go back and many times until you that we've had injuries are really hurt us dying being hurt really hurt do. But it was still do North Carolina. He made some big time place down the straights that they didn't have the last couple of games one year. We didn't have Tyler Lawson and our game against you could. Cutting a lot of attention because he's. He's very good Gary us, I mean, he is animal out there in a good way. But still the bottom line is that you play and tried to do the best. She can today. I have no idea. I don't even know what the hell. Knit means. Okay. So let's be honest. I'm trying to coach my team. And we'll tell us that. I don't know how many but we've been to several final force several. We've never won the tournament championship. But one time to our season's not over. We just got to regroup and play better and understand that we didn't play well enough to win the day. That's the bottom line. We didn't play well enough to win and congratulate them and move on. Yeah. Royal, Kip for view they attacked almost exclusively through. Several minutes without garrison in there. You know, what they're gonna do. What could you what were you trying to get on defense for him? Well, the next best defense forces. If you don't have garrison who is a really good good defender is your best athlete and that was bringing the Syrian the game. He's too quick for her too quick for sterling. But this part of the game, you've got just the people and their strengths and our weaknesses in our weakness. I mean, there are strengths and their weaknesses. But he's he's a big time player. I mean, I think I saw him play morning. Anybody else in the country the last two and a half years? And so I was glad to see that he wouldn't play in those two other times. I'd seen him play enough. I knew what he was. But again, it was Duke that beat North Carolina today. I mean, I don't even remember who it was picked up a floor laid up who was gore as pretty big play. All right. That's a pretty big play right there. But I think other than that. Every point down the stretch the things I n scored every one of them down the stretch. Tour left. Bob holiday. Wwl dot com. You often talk about the little things that garrison Brooks. Does you had gotten? I think six points in a row and taking the lead. And then he real quickly got his third and fourth fouls after that. I it could have been coincidence. But I noticed a lot of threes. Go up even though you're twenty-seven does your offense function differently when he's not out there setting screens. A little bit probably but not to moesha bad shots in the first half. My God we felt as a three second shot clock. I mean, if you go four for twenty seven guys you deserve to be beat. I mean, come on this. We honest about the whole thing are great teams or this team when they played their best games as either in one or two things we're really shot to ball. Well or had good balance at Duke we played it was without saying. I mean, Luke maye spins around to lay the ball up. And I think that was when it was we won down at one time.

"And then the final guests will be right at midnight eastern that will be Shaun O'Hara from the NFL network as the combine is approaching NFL draft. Not that far away. We will start to delve into the draft. A little bit. And we will also chat about Odell Beckham junior. Antonio Brown Levy on bell, Big Ben and all that jazz. So a whole lot to do on a Thursday evening. But we're the program does commence is where we really spent most of the time talking about last night. And that's with the biggest story in college sports Zion. Williamson where if you look at the entire landscape of college basketball. You don't have. Many great stories this year. You have some fun teams. But the big storyline. This college basketball season has all been about the future number one pick in the NBA draft and the biggest star in college basketball, and that's fine. Williamson after that if you're a fan of some of these teams that Gonzaga you'll be excited if you're a fan of Virginia you want to redeem what happened to you last year? But this isn't that strong of a college basketball field compared to other years where most of the field for most of the season has been do you take Duke or do you take the field? And that thought really flash right before your eyes last night when a little over thirty seconds into the game Zion. Williamson literally burst through his shoe. And then on his other leg other leg came down and left the game. And it was that right leg. Daddy hurt. Not the leg that. And not the daddy burst through the shoe it now we were waiting and waiting and waiting day to get an update you heard from coach K after the game. The more information will come out today. And it's being reported as a grade one sprain and he's day to day. And I was being I'll say clairvoyant, I'm not gonna really Pat myself on the back for it last night. Because I thought they were obvious and easy takes. But I told you what the talking points are going to beat today. Whether you're listening to Dr afternoon drive midday when it comes to the situation was I Williamson everyone was going to talk about Chicago athletes, be paid should Zayn Williamson play again and then with this age limit with the one and done rule. Should they move on from that? And the NBA said that it has nothing to do with design Williamson, but you find out that they formerly today proposed the changing of the draft age going back to eighteen so that would eliminate the one and done, you know, what's happening to start next year with the G league. If you're elite talent you can go play in the G league for one hundred twenty five thousand dollars, not go to college. So we'll see how that works out. But I'm all on board for taking the age limit to nineteen and moving it back to eight. Eighteen. Because if you're good enough. And if you think you're good enough, you should be able to go to the NBA right away and not have to go to college. Now. Will there be some kids that go, and it's too premature? Absolutely. But that is what happens when you make a decision sometimes it's going to work, and it will benefit, and you will see those benefits very quickly other times, you may have to wait a few years for you to get mature in the NBA. Or you may get in so early. And then once you go to league developed a reputation of a bus than mental you can't recover from that. So if you're a no doubt about it stud, go if there are some questioning by you when you're leaving high school if you could play in the league, then you go to college. But I don't think there should be any restrictions in terms of that. Now, let me revisit something because I told you last night. Zayn me comes back and plays. It's great for the sport. If he elects to go to college likes to to skip college. The rest of the college at Duke and go right to the start to get his mind ready for the NBA and and recover from the injury. I would understand it. I wouldn't love it. I wouldn't want to root for it. But I would totally get it. Because as a sports fan that's plugged into college basketball right now, I want to see the kid play and the NCAA tournament loses a significant amount of juice design. Williamson is not in it. But let me just go back into a little revisitation period right now. As we go back to about a month ago. Well, over a month ago, January nineteenth two thousand nine hundred so few days before that Scottie Pippen was on ESPN and Scottie Pippen said that he believes that the Duke stars. I in Williamson should shut it down and prepare for the draft. And this was a month ago. And he said on ESPN that he thinks that Zion locked up the biggest shoe deal. I think he's definitely going to be the number one pick. I think he's done enough for college basketball that it's more about him personally Pippen said on ESPN's the jump. I would shut it down. I would stop playing because I feel he could risk a major injury that could really hurt his career. And now, we know it's a great one day to day. We'll see when he returns if I'm saying take your time when you're ready to come back come on back. But the reason why I bring up that quote from a little over a month ago is because Zein Williamson was asked about it. And this is from the Twitter account of Josh Graham who does afternoon radio for the sports of tirade. And he said this is what Zion Williamson said after a practice. Now. This was a month ago. Quote, I can't just stop playing. I'd be letting my teammates down. I'd be letting coach K down. I'd be leading a lot of people down. If I wanted to sit out I wouldn't have went to college. I came to Duke to play. So I thought that was important to revisit in the open because that didn't circulate last night. It's circulated later today. Earlier today, and you finally see that and you go that's a month ago. Feelings can change people can get in his ear and tell him to shut it down. But I don't think it's going to happen when he south do you think he's gonna return? I think it's going to go to try to win a NC double a championship. And I'm fine with that. That's great. And if this was college football league probably gets ready for the draft because there's a higher risk in a higher rate for injuries. Then. College basketball, and the sport of basketball, there's less of a risk. But on the other end if he came out tomorrow and said, I'm done. Thank you. Appreciate it fun season. I'm going to get myself ready for the NBA in the NBA draft. I totally understand that as well. So here's the three things number one. I believe college kids should get a cut number two. When it comes to plan again for Zayn Williamson. I'm okay with whatever he decides he should do it to the best interests of them self. I have a feeling that he's going to play again in college basketball. And then in terms of the whole age situation with the NBA you shouldn't force a kid to go to college. If you think you're good enough to go to the pros, then go to the pros..
