"You win now or you never win again. And they won that year and, you know, so it goes. I mean, you pay that price every time out. Yeah. Every time out, Florida and Calgary, I think, are both really good teams. You know, I mean, I think Calgary is the second or third best team in the west. The second best team of that trade. Of the two teams. Of those two teams, there are number two. Very, very flight of the concords there, right? Depending on the trade, I bet you are definitely in the top three. Best teams in the trade. Yeah. I think the both of those teams are good. The results haven't matched. Yeah. But I think the, you know, the Panthers are what? I don't think the Panthers will finish the season more than ten points back at the Boston Bruins after 82 games. Yeah, the 31st in team shooting percentage right now and all of the underlying metrics are better than they were last year offensively when they were the best offensive thing we ever seen. So they're gonna be fine. And then Calgary two, Calgary is not getting saves, but you have ladar and markstrom. They're gonna be totally fine in that, you know, I'm not sure if they're going to be as dynamic offensively. I think they might have taken a bigger step back than we thought, but the logic of adding a top pair defender and them just being one of the most least permissive teams in the league. I still think that holds, it's just that their goaltending hasn't earned them those results yet. Okay, you know what's interesting from the Panthers perspective, I think part of the bet there was this hubris that they'd had deservedly sold from the past couple years of plugging and playing, right? In terms of everyone we put into the system, has the best year they have. So we'll figure it out. And on the one hand, you look at the numbers that they're getting from Josh mahura and making work defensively, we thought the defensive depth would be a big issue all right, but this is a bunch of time. They've been perfectly fine. They're okay. They're so good at plugging holes on the blue line with cast offs. It's incredible. At the same time, their commitment to the stall bit is so strange because that's literally been the one flaw. Of every single thing they've done. You know what zero seems to do this though all the time. There's always like a Joe Thornton. Yeah. You know, and then once the games matter later in the year, those guys don't seem to play. Yeah. But they've done it multiple years in a row. I have a guy like that around. Yeah. Well, they're taking the joke about going to Florida to retire, just way too way too literally. Well, not as literally as they did. Remember when it was like the Joe noonday Gary Roberts, Florida Panthers, and it was like, oh boy. Yeah. Anyway, I think both teams will be fine. I like Florida's side of the trade slightly better, but I also think Calgary. Like the thing is, is I think Calgary is the second best team in the west. Despite how

"What did I say? It's not from you. But I've heard a lot of people say a friend yeah, I don't know, it's a lot for New York. All right, number 7, the Florida Panthers who I had number one on my list last year. And where did I have them? I had them pretty high. I must have been hyrule. You had them 6, I had them 9. Cam had them 8 8th. They've been fun so far. They've been fine so far. Clearly. It clearly lost depth. Yeah, I'm going to be watching this very closely. Now they had a lot of powerful opportunities to kind of skew these numbers in the first two games. But I think they might, and I don't know if it'll last. I don't think this is a great strategy for longevity. I think they might just play their top players. All the minutes. Like, I think they might like they might try to fight past the depth concerns. By just being like, we're just going to play ekblad, barkov, and barkov's line, and then we're going to get chuck Bennett and bolsters out, but then Bennett and Kentucky don't play much more on special teams. And they're just going to get those guys out for like 20 plus minutes every game. And just not really care about who their third pair and Ford line is. I get them out for a couple of shifts here there, which once again for over 82 games might be a tougher thing, especially with injuries. Especially with barkov and ekblad's injury history. But the thing I'm worried about the most of that team is they are one Gustav forsling injury away from having zero NHL is on their left side. Yeah. Well, don't sleep on the fact that they're going to make an NHL player out of Josh mahura. No, they are not. You know what? You know what though? They might two games in. I think like you and I did a full podcast about the map you could have trained.
