"Joyce's mowed him down in the second half of that fight. So hopefully we get it. I think fury Joyce is a great fight. I think Joshua white would be a great fight in the summertime and maybe you can start to build a little more towards a theory and AJ clash. What are the thing that was in the news this week was we got an announcement of the undercard for Ryan García against tank Davis. I didn't have huge expectations Mike because when you have a fight that cost this much money, the undercard generally pays the price for it and I think that's what we're seeing here. I do like the Gabe rosado back to your cousy of rematch. I'm shocked, frankly, like Gabe has been telling me for years, man. But he wasn't going to take that fight. You had no interest in facing back to marilla Cruz you have again. They must have made him an offer. He couldn't refuse to get on that card, but David morrell is in kind of a walk over fight. Elijah Garcia there. He should win that fight. I think if I was grading it, I'd call it probably a C or a C minus level undercard. What do you think? I mean, I've given up on expecting good undercards at this point in boxing. Like you said, it's the financial issue with how much money is being allocated to the main event, especially in this fight. And you know, you and I, you ask any promoter, they always say the same thing, right? Nobody's voting for the undercard. So promote promoters and boxing right now have decided that they don't really have to put a lot of effort. And I'm not saying that any one promoter, but just collectively, that's not really a point of emphasis for them. I mean, I think the Lucas Matisse, I Danny Garcia co feature, to me with a Canelo. That to me was probably the last great co feature fight on a pay per view. And a major one at that. I don't know if we're ever seeing that one again. So well, I will say, you know, we have a lot of fights that don't belong on pay per view. And this one does at least belong there. I have no way to pay for this one. No, none whatsoever. It's going to be a great fight. Don't blink, see what happens. Top of the card and I'm looking forward to watching that one for sure. All right, so this weekend, we've got Shakur Stevenson back in action, he is making his debut at a 135 pounds at two division world champion one 26, one 30, missed weight in his last fight against ropes and could say so, but he moves up to one 35, look, he asked everybody to fight him, you know, couldn't get anybody to say yes to him. So now he's got to settle on kind of a homecoming fight in New Jersey against your zero, yoshino. I guess the question is, are your expectations for Shakur Stevenson at one 35 to be as effective as he was at one 26 and one 30? Absolutely. I think score Stevenson is going to be the pound for pound king. I don't know when that's going to happen, but everyone you talk to unboxing says the same thing. This guy is a cam is fighter. By all counts, trains really hard and doesn't have any issues there. It's an incredible talent. And he just hasn't had the opponents to prove it. And like you said, I don't think it's any fault of his own. He's been calling for these fights, but you know, I think people see how hard it is to look good against him. He's arguably the best defensive fighter in all of boxing. He's only getting better. And he's kind of a big guy. Big frames. I think he's going to even go higher than one 35. I think we'll see him at one 47. Sports all said and done. But I do believe, yeah, I do believe that. This is kind of a homecoming fight, hard to get excited about this one. But maybe it's a good showcase for Shakur and hopefully we get your core against either Devin Haney or silicon schenk at some point. Yeah, what's your take on that? Because I'm of the belief that if handy wins he's gone, like he's going up to one 40, he's not gonna try to make one 35 anymore. I don't think there's a real interest in team haney's camp in a Shakur fight at this point, not that there never would be, but I think Devin is outgrowing this weight class rapidly. I think he's staying because he's always wanted to fight lomachenko and he believes wholeheartedly that he will beat lomachenko. I don't think he has that feeling. At least in terms of passion to fight someone against Shakur Stevenson. Loam, I think we'll fight him. Like if Loma comes out of this fight with the win, he'll go straight into a Shakur fight. Loma doesn't want any kind of tune up fights. He wants big time marketable money making fights. Is that your read on it too? I was with Devin Haney last week in LA. I asked him this question. I'll Shakur. He said that he's going to wait and see how his body feels after the fight. He said he's open to fighting at one 35 again, but he just wants to see how it feels. And he says, it's a big, big fight, obviously. But I do wonder, you know, we've heard, you know, bob arum saying in the past, many times the marination thing. Is this fight for how much is going to cost? And how risky this both sides is this really the right time for this fight? Of course I want to see the fight, but I'm saying from the promoter standpoint. Are they really going to try to deliver a fight? What do you think? I don't, because Devin's made a ton of money the last couple of years. I mean, they had to go to Australia a couple of times, but he was paid very, very well to do that. He is being well compensated for this level Jacko fight. Every time Shakur fights his price goes up, like he's becoming an expensive guy. I just don't think that the pay per view buys would be there yet for Devin Haney, Shakur Stevenson said, look, they're both in their mid 20s. Look, I'm all for making big fights happen sooner rather than later. But I don't mind waiting another year to see that fight potentially. I wonder, though, I do think uncle Eddie is going to be calling young Devin Haney when this next fight with lomachenko is over because that is kind of a player now, not the top rank isn't, but they just kind of a player now in a 140 pound division as well. The zone quote side of the street could also include Ryan García in the foreseeable future at one 40. I think Eddie Hearn is going to make a play for Devin Haney. But Devin's been smart in doing these kind of short term deals. Two and three fight deals that give him some flexibility within a couple of years to do whatever fight he wants and I love that. You know, we see that a lot with veteran fighters, Floyd Mayweather did that. Miguel cotto did that. Manny Pacquiao a certain degree did that, but guys Devin's age, don't often have the kind of control over their career that they should. But Devin Haney has that. So even if he goes to Andy, I think a score fight is likely down the line. I just think, from every time I talk to people around haney, all I hear about is how tough it is to make this weight. And I remember seeing him in the second fight against campos, and you saw him at the way in man. Like you saw his face, like it was so drawn. He wore sunglasses the entire time. To his credit he's making the weight. Like, incredible. He's professional, but I don't get the sense he wants to do that anymore after this fight. I think lomachenko and then one 40 here he comes. Yeah, and I agree. Full credit to Devin, taking control of his career because he gets to fight whoever he wants to fight, really. And if he does stay with the top rank for more fight, I mean, how big is a Devin Haney versus Josh Taylor if I later this year or even TV will open? I said, Josh hill, she's a favorite. But haney, if you beat someone with angle versus the winner of Taylor versus Lopez at one 40, I think is not a monster commercial fight, but it's a monster fight for boxing fence. Oh, it's huge. And then if you're Devin Haiti, you can start talking about Ryan García. Those two guys have been circling each other since the amateur days. They fought 5 times in the amateurs. You know, whatever happens with Ryan tech, I mean, imagine if Ryan beat tanked. Haney fight would be even bigger at that point, but it's gonna be big no matter what and there are a lot of good options for him at one 40. I mean, Regis progra is kind of just out there. I think everyone's gonna find Regis program. You might just, you know, just be hanging out for the rest of his career. Just sort of doing nothing. But that's a big fight. Yeah, if I'm Devin Haney, I'm continuing to do exactly what I've been doing. He was kind of a showtime fighter early on that wasn't affiliated with PBC. He goes to match room, makes a bunch of money, wins a world title. He goes to top rank, gets two big paydays and the undisputed championship at one 35, and now in his mid 20s, do whatever he wants. Like I just, it's incredible. Kudos to Devin Haney and his team for doing it that the way they did, but we'll see what happens with him

President Biden wondering out loud this week why officers when forced to use a gun aim for the heart, not something less deadly like a limb, but groups who train police say, there's a good reason why officers are told to aim for the body. As you go out to the limbs, the targets are much more mobile than the center of mass and also makes it more difficult to hit the target. Pete Blair heads the alert center at Texas state university, which trains law enforcement. He says aiming at a limb would lead to more misses, and that could affect innocent bystanders. But he agrees with the president that more training is needed I'm Michael board. A Long Island bald eagle has been euthanized because of suspected avian flu, Sara Lee Kessler has the details. I'm Brian shook. And I'm Charlie pellet, at Bloomberg world headquarters. There are lots of questions on Wall Street about the size of the fed's next rate hike. Brian Weinstein has had a fixed income at Morgan Stanley investment management. I mean, at some point you have to move to 25 because you've done a lot. You don't know how much damage that you've done, but we know inflation numbers will fall. We know that there's some weakness in growth numbers forward in jobless numbers. Morgan Stanley's Brian Weinstein, but Bloomberg opinion columnist Muhammad Al Arian, a former CEO of pimco, and now president of queens college Cambridge says it is a tough call. There's good arguments for both 25 or stay at 50. There's support from data depending on what you look at. If you want to go to the 25 camp, you look at the retail sales numbers, you look at the COVID version, the 50 you look at the labor market and just downside risk to both. So it's a really interesting debate. I'm not sure there is the right answer. And then you have to factor in what the market is pricing, which is not what the fed is telling us. And the credibility issue. Bloomberg opinion columnist Muhammad el Arian. Either way, subhadra rajab had a U.S. rate strategy associate general sees a fed that is willing to keep tightening. There's no reason for the fed not to sound hawkish going into the February meeting. I mean, the data is mixed, the employment picture is still pretty strong. Broadly speaking inflation is still pretty high. So there's really no reason for them to not sound hawkish at the February meeting. Cuban recap of societe generale. Esther George is the outgoing president and CEO of the Kansas City fed, and she told our Michael McKee the fed wants to see more progress on labor. What I'd really be looking for is to see are some of those job openings going to come down. Well, we see some of those vacancies removed as we see this imbalance begin to be addressed. So I think this scenario of can there be a soft landing is one we would all want to see. And there are some possibilities for that. "Caveats with Jacksonville who knows and the Giants maybe that's plus 5 71 on FanDuel if you think those are the four teams in the final four. Yeah, Cynthia KC in the niners at Philly. I do think since he's going to win. And it really worries me to take a shaky offensive line on the road like that. But I just think they have a better team. And maybe I'm wrong, but I've watched football year, and I just I always thought the Bengals were going to have a moment. And I don't want to go away from them now just because Jonah Williams got hurt. It also was worried about this when my predictions also lead to the games I'm most wanted to see. I'm worried how much I'm looking forward to. But Casey's in Saudi rematches an incredible game. It's so cool, especially like since he's three O on up now. You know what I'm saying? Like, Andy and Patrick are taking this seriously. Either rematch is great. Casey buffalo would be amazing too. And then you have eagles niners. If you haven't seen yet, we've seen eagles cowboys. Who cares? I don't want to see it. Eagles niners, that's the one where those are the two rosters in the NFC that really are a cut above the rest. I want that game desperately. So I'm very worried. I've got my analysis through that lens, but yeah, I think it's Casey, San Francisco, and I think I think it's eagle San Francisco. And then Casey, neither bills nor bangles would surprise me, but water gun to my head I see the bangles. If you could do in any time, eagles touchdown from the eagles giants game, who would you throw in that? Would that be an AJ Brown? No, so I like if we're being like rational, I like miles Sanders. They like their running game when they get inside the 5 and I don't think they want to use jaylen as much if they can avoid it because he's going to be less than a 100%. So it makes sense to just put the ball in Sanders gun and let him go. He's like plus one ten. I think I've seen him. Yeah, plus one O 5. Yeah. The other player that on FanDuel's plus three 90 is Boston Scott, who all eagles fans will know, Boston Scott's got like ten career touchdowns and 9 career games against the Giants or something ridiculous. He's Boston's got like 5 6 and he always scores against the Giants. He's called the giant killer for that reason. Now he's scored against them earlier this year. And so that's a good one. Free rolling. You're throwing free breaths around. Go find you some Boston Scott anytime touchdown. Just for the memes. So last question because I asked this to schrager. Lane Johnson's playing. But if you read the stories, it's like lane Johnson has a torn groin that's going to require surgery after the season. Then it then you go and it's lane Johnson's going to attempt to play. And it's lane Johnson's feeling better. It's all this code word where it's like, this dude has a fucking torn groin. He's going to play anyway. There's no way this is a good thing for your star red tackle to have a torn groin. I can't even imagine if you or I had a torn groin. I don't even know if you're eating cheese with a torn grain. Could you even get to the fridge? What would you do? You'd have to crawl to the fridge. It was really funny during practice because lane was in paths. He was practicing, the beats all tweeted out at one point. They were like, lane Johnson just picked up Josh sills and drills, like Josh hills is a backup line music 325 pounds or something. Like, oh, I picked him up. It's great. I guarantee you, lane was like yo, Josh, man. Pick you up really quick. Come over here. Yeah, I just let them know. Yeah, when the lane injury happened, and then wrapped him out with a report pretty quick after the injury, this was like week 15 week 16 that was basically like, hey, like lane's gonna try to play in the playoffs. It's like, well, I don't love that he's made that decision now. I'd like for to see how he feels. And then we got a pretty good backup right tackle. We have great line depth. We worked very hard to have good lined up. We drafted a lot of these guys. I don't know if I need 70% Elaine Johnson out there when I've invested this much in Jack Driscoll and my backup Andre Dillard. And so we'll see. The nightmare is if lane's being a liability because he's hurt, but he also refuses to come off the fields he wants to play. And that's where things might get a little tricky. Also, could he make it worse? Can you just keep tearing or groin? How long? How many inches is a grain there? Can it just get twice as big with this whole like Jalen hurts shoulder injury where like we thought it was the AC joint and then it turns out it was the SC joint, which is different. I've been making it very clear. I don't know how joints work. I don't know how tendons work. I'm not in the I can't predict things anymore. So can you try the groin worse? Probably ask somebody who knows? For me right now, I just want to make sure that he can block cave on thibodeau. That's my benchmark. Torn grain sounds awful. And then the hertz thing, nobody really knows, right? I mean, they're like, it's better. He's recovering, but we have no idea. Like, what if he's just not the same? I think that hurts is going to be visibly and clearly less than a 100%. I also think in terms of competitors in the NFL who are geared up to gut it out despite a hurt shoulder, or I take her to like one of the top 5. I like to just make the run despite the fact that he just walking around with ice on the shoulder every single day. The problem is it's a two pronged question. Does it impact us throwing? Well, he threw against the bears after he got hurt pretty nicely through gets the Giants nice. Okay, good. Who would run 31? Yeah. Does it hurt his running? And they ran him on a sneak, you know what I'm saying? But like, hurts is a physical runner. He likes to finish through tackles. And you saw him slide really early against the Giants in week 18. And so against as a passer, I'm confident he's going to be okay. As a runner,

But there was a there was a real mess to the flirting Hill. This was not a surprise. No, but to have it confirmed. It's you know, it's like you know you did you know that Santa Claus isn't real. But then when your parents tell you that, I mean, sorry. Spoiler alert. But when your parents tell you that you're like, Oh, man, I was kind of holding out Hope So, like, you know, having that confirmed it kind of changes things a little bit, because now you know, there's no doubt whatsoever they had a thing. It's there that tell you watch the show. That's what I'm hearing here in your because if you're just joining us, I asked Josh Hill on the Friends reunion. If you ever said it here, and he said this was the moment So what? I'm hearing here, he'll not toe Delve too deep in your personal life, But it sounds to me It's like that one girl that she had the big crush on Finally admitting to you. Yes, indeed. She did crush you, too. And That's why you're so emotional about because that part perhaps never happened for you. And the one girl that got away is still gotten away. My anywhere, pointed in the right direction. I think we've all experienced that. I mean, that's just human nature that you know, we've all been in high school. Everybody's kind of encounter that how much stock you want to put in. It is another conversation. But at some point we've all felt that feeling. That's why that relationship was so relatable to begin with. On that show, Molly Harmon at the University of Iowa definitely had a crush on me whether she'll ever admit it. Highly unlikely. Speaking of crushes, Hill crushes no longer I, It's Ah, interesting that Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavalleri are back in the news and Cuddy's You wants a big cut of the Cavalleri business here. This is Jane's not going down easy. Of course he does. Is this not the most Jay Cutler thing ever he why'd barely a part of something. He's like the 10 gentle part of a big relationship he puts in minimal effort. He's probably the reason everything went wrong. It didn't capture its full potential. And now he wants to claim credit for it. I mean, he want half of this business if the Bears when I went to the Super Bowl that year, that he, uh Went out in the NFC championship game. I mean, he played what, like a half of that He always plays half but he wants to cut it. So this totally totally lines up with Jay Cutler. Minimal effort now reward me for this thing that I didn't quite do, right? But I did it, so pay up. This is total. Jacob Kristin Cavalleri of Jay Cutler. But this feels just I mean, just what a bizarre story. It's totally lined up with Jay Cutler legacy in the NFL, and now he's just carrying that into into real life. Look, at least he's consistently terrible. He's consistent with one thing, And it's that he's also consistently entertaining. Thank that's true like White. Wait, What are you doing? I used there was like an animal that was invading his home in Nashville, and he was hanging out in a tree house and camouflage and trying to figure out what's going on, and his instagram was getting seven million clicks a day because people are wondering when J was going to catch the animal. I think he knows how to get some attention for himself. So a hill. I got one minute here to tell me about the shy should people be watching this? Absolutely. I mean, the shy is one of the best shows on television that we're not talking about enough. So I mean, it's a little tricky because it's on Showtime. But, you know, set in the south side of Chicago, and it feels like a Chicago show. It's not a shit. You know, there's like Chicago fire. It's that in Chicago in all the Chicago shows, but the shy feels like it belongs to Chicago. And it's telling the Chicago story and it's phenomenally activist phenomena. The writings phenomenal and it's been harmed. Its fourth season just started like you haven't seen it catch up now. The shy.
