"People. Rioting do you commit to making sure that there's a little more wanna have get rid of the ballots and you'll have a very transplant. Have a very peaceful. There won't be a transfer. Frankly they'll be a continuation. I mean that was on camera. We all saw that right. Will you commit to a peaceful transfer of power. Well we'll have to see there will be a continuation as donald trump said. We are getting more reporting about how there was a plan. All along to steal the election. To overturn the results defy. The will of the people destroy american democracy. That plan was plotted and executed in broad daylight in public on twitter with all of us watching all the republicans watching and in front of numerous aids axios reports that as trump prepared for election day. He was focused on the so-called red mirage. Right that was the idea that his voters votes would be counted. I trump intended to exploited this to weaponize it for his vast base followers. His preparations for deliberate strategic and deeply cynical trump wanted americans to believe a falsehood that there were two elections a legitimate election composed of in person voting and a separate fraudulent election involving bogus mail in ballots for democrats. The outgoing president even quarter draft is election night scheme as early as a second week of october. His former chief of staff reince priebus told a friend. He was stunned when trump called him that time and acted out his script including walking up to a podium and prematurely declaring victory on election night if it looked like he was ahead. Wrench previous stunned. What did he do about it. What did rhines previous do about it. When the president confided him his plan to steal an election did he warn us to be seen anything publicly. No of course not. He did what they all did he. Just shut his mouth and let it happened. Even as it was all planned and plotted it happened with a whole bunch of people like ryan priebus. Thank you rights looking on. Some of them just jumped off the train at the very last minute. Another profile in courage. Attorney general william bar was axios reports had been butting heads with trump. Since the summer now bar again could have taken a former stand. He could have been public. He could've told us what was happening. Rung the alarm bells sooner. He could have warned us. He didn't do that. He set by let it happen instead. He quit a few weeks early with a letter. Comically effusively praising trump and his way out vice president mike pence who decided at the last moment not to aid the coup good on him only to end up sheltering from a raving mob chanting. Hang mike pence as a stock the halls of the capitol looking for him and his family but the time people like our pants were interested in distancing themselves from the plot it had already deemed its own momentum see now new polling from nbc news showing seventy four percent of republicans believed joe. Biden did not win the presidency legitimately. Everyone went along with trump's plan until was too late and so now this is the country. The biden administration democratic senate house are tasked with governing a country that requires to twenty five thousand armed troops to keep the peace on inauguration. Day a country where huge of the opposition a majority. Assuming georgie wrongly believes they were the victims of a coup john podesta the chairman of hillary clinton's presidential campaign was counselor present brock obama he's been a democratic stalwart for years and he joins me now. Let's start on that note. John i mean how do you understand the task of governing that this incoming administration is being handed amidst what we have which is in some ways a crisis as severe and acute as barack obama in two thousand nine with the added poison of this challenge to democracy and democratic rule and the big lie about the election. Being stole will First of all. Thanks for having me on. Chris and could see you just forty hours before we have a change of administration. I think there's no question that donald trump incited insurrection. But he had a lot of enablers. Who helped him of republicans. Like ted cruz. Josh hawley people. In the house like kevin mccarthy all of whom should go down in shame but i think one of the things that you have to give credit to president-elect biden vice president-elect harris for is they've responded with real 'plain with a sense of that they need to lead this country that they're they spoke about four crises throughout the campaign the covid crisis resulting economic crisis the racial justice crisis and the climate crisis but i think they have to add fifth crisis the democratic crisis. We have of a party that is tent on continuing to lie to their voters about what actually happened. They produce no evidence of fraud and yet they lied and lied and lied and look what they produce a january six sure. Donald trump is the worst of it. But they he had a lot of help along the way and this is where i think this question i mean again. This is a very difficult task. I do not envy. The biden harris administration or the very very narrow senate majority with news today about how that senate majority is going to function Because you know. The republican party is the opposition party in the us and has a a hold on between forty and forty percent of the voters depending on the election right. They've they've got a bunch of house seats so everyone's going to show up to work on the twentieth and it's like okay. What are we doing here and yet it seems like he can't be that right at one level. I understand you gotta get to work and get stuff done at the other level. It's like. I don't know what you say to josh hawley. If you're face to face with him the united states senate well look I think what the biden harris administration need to do is kind of focus on their task. And i think that's why. I've said leave the impeachment trial up to the senate. Yup we're going to focus on what we need to do which is to get on top of the virus. Which of course is another sin of the current administration that they botched the denied. The science botched the response a caused the circumstance under which now four hundred thousand americans have died And now they're you know we have a a weak response under vaccine distribution. They have to first and foremost get on top of that. A begin to put some sav on the pain that people are feeling president-elect biden laid out a very aggressive agenda to do that with additional payments with the family medical leave expanding the.

Stabenow Is Among Senators Calling For Trump's Removal

"Democratic senator debbie stab of michigan called for trump to be removed from office following last week's attack on the capital and she joins me. Now senator. first. Your reaction to the news about mitch mcconnell which. I think some are surprised by well first of all. I'm not surprised that he knows that. Down trump committed impeachable acts. He knows that is a bright man. The question will be whether or not he's gonna stand with senator schumer who has asked him to use the powers that they have under two thousand four senate resolution to bring us back in an emergency to the senate to be able to act so after the house acts you know if he really means it than he will join chuck schumer. We will come back into session and we will have the trial and we will get this done. And he'll join us doing that to me. That would be the as to whether or not he means that. That's a good point. So so you believe he has under his power to bring you back and start this trial should should the president be impeached. Tomorrow's we expect under this one article that has been offered for his incitement of this mob in pursuit of this project overturning a democratic election. You think the senate should come back. Mitch mcconnell series about this. You should be back in the next few days and do it before. The president leaves office absolutely. I mean there's a two thousand four senate resolution is passed. Senator schumer has reached out to mitch mcconnell and said let's say it's -mergency powers. This certainly isn't emergency all the pictures we've been saying you've been showing tonight and we have been seeing constantly the experiences that we had this is an emergency and they could together. Bring us back into session and we could get this done. That will be the real thing that that matters. I mean is he going to actually act on this. We just seen too much of this enabling for four years. And i was thinking. Oh chris that a year ago we were actually in a trial in the senate right now. We were in a trial. And if the republicans have mitch mcconnell had joined with us then we would have not had the way that the krona virus has handled that has caused almost three hundred and eighty thousand desk. We wouldn't have what happened last week. We wouldn't have had those five deaths so that was just a year ago that they could have acted well now if he really believes that there were impeachable acts which of course there were than. He's step up. He's a step up in show some leadership. What do you think about the members of congress both houses who have supported who have given kind of even conference the president's big lie on this on this score the they've done it in this very kind of too cute by half way on seeking now josh hawley. Ted cruz of a lot of people feel this way and we're just asking questions and we should have a commission but when all said and done they voted not to seat the electors who were rightfully elected by the people as part of our democratic system. What do you think of those colleagues in both houses. I think shameful. I think in some way. They should be held accountable. I know that there are requests for ethics committee. Investigations am i i. I'm supportive of holding them accountable. In some way i mean. We can't will von and have healing without accountability in without justice. And by the way. Chris we do need to move and we have a president and a vice president being sworn in on january twentieth. We also need to be confirming a secretary of defense secretary of homeland security secretary of the treasury all of these important positions with donald trump. We actually came in the twentieth to put the secretary of defense in place immediately. I want to know if our republican colleagues of mitch mcconnell Going to join with us in that endeavor as well. That's part of the responsibility here. The put in place the responsible team the competent team. That's going to be able to make decisions to keep us safe going forward. So there's a lot at stake here and we wanna move forward and we we as democrats. No we have to work across the be by parsing gets things done but we also know that at this moment what was done here was an insurrection. There has to be accountability. There has to be justice in order for us to be able to really move on in a sincere way. Senator debbie seven out of michigan so much joining us tonight

"And getting sicker now. Back to the sean hannity show. And that's never been more truth sick and getting sicker just re reading miranda devine's piece in the new york post today which by the way you'd never get on twitter. I guess because they just decided no. When i got to run this true story before the election about zero experience hunter in his laptop even with a picture of hunter fallen asleep with a crack pipe in his mouth. I would we ever want to talk about that but it never happened. She writes there's a reason. Why blameless republicans trump voters are being tarred with the same brush is the capital writers. And i was kinda shop bill maher. Yeah five thousand. People don't represent seventy five million just don't but they would. Have you believe that it's not enough just to arrest and prosecute the actual law breakers who smashed their way into the capital on. Now we know too that they had warning signs we need. We need the equivalent of nine eleven commission report every one of our enemies around the globe. Saw this i'll volmer ability. I never thought it would be possible. And i'm not blaming i. We just can't allow it to ever be placed a happen. That can happen unbelievable. So we'd better get to the bottom of it and now. Obviously they are for the inauguration coming up talk to my friends. It's No one who supported the president voted for him work for his administration. Now they know now. They have to be hunted down and purged in their movie. The purge something like that. I think i watched it. They're losing their jobs having their insurance canceled. Well i think she wrote this before. Writers and editors joining a push to deny trump getting a book deal post-presidency banned from being flying or or banking. Can you imagine no fly list for ted cruz. And josh hawley. Josh hawley book cancelled cancel culture. Now let's throw him out of congress rome out of the senate use the fourteenth amendment joe mansions the one that said that petition at harvard even demanding trump staffers have their degrees revoked. She writes a feverish. Mood is a foot voting. The spirit of mccarthyism and the salem witch trials in which irrationality in hysteria point fingers at the innocent. This is ben the world. We've lived in talk radio in my years at fox for some of us. It's not just an emotional overreaction to the frightening events of january six. That's a deliberate tactic designed to intimidate conservatives and silence their protests when the biden administration radically meet remakes the country as its promised to do from day one and by the way everything i told you they're gonna do. They've already now confirmed they're going to do it. I told you they meant it. Democrats are allies in corporate america. Preemptively taking out the opposition because they know that their prescriptions don't work in her opposed by a majority of americans were not a socialist left wing country. They didn't win that argument. That i can tell you can already see opposition growing in this country. The everything that they're outlining which i'll get to in a second is more frightening than the previous one of control of both houses of one party rule stacking supreme court dc statehood seems to be on track. And it's just the tip of the iceberg dismantling border protection tip of the iceberg They're going to give amnesty to millions of people tip of the iceberg. And we'll talk about the caravan here in a minute this coming our way. Even if biden delays as promised implementation of immigration reform. He signalled his intent. Caravans of hopeful souls in search of a better life already are on the move in honduras. What the washington post likes to call a superspreader event. Now in light of covid would it be fair if somebody's coming from another country to make sure that they don't have covert just a thought. Would that be terrible. He's hr one reforms of nancy. Pelosi just downright scary. They want to bake in mail in balloting same day. Registration weaken voter idea if any requirements early voting. They wanted to nancy. Pelosi is all in. hr one that's the first item agenda item bacon all the cova changes on elections no voter. Id limited voter. Id very weak. Id requirements early voting in perpetuity. My little star voting now unbelievable she writes. Miranda devine does the aims to entrench the election. Rule changes made under cover of covid last year. Which benefited the democrats. Let so many americans to lose faith in the elections and ultimately fed the environment were now living in the way because she'll be cancelled to she can't have this opinion. It's you know what you call pouring fuel on a fire. Pelosi has added statehood for dc to progressive wishlist. And as she says the look people are afraid you do know that they really wanna shut us down. It's it's she's right. What do you think. The whole effort to silence. The president on twitter now sounds any book deal. He might have any future they have. What do you think the post impeachment trial shift show would be all about. Crackdown on free speech. Big tech that they just pan conservatives. They don't like or ban the president because they don't like the speech now they're gonna use it to go after their the used their power shut down any potential alternative that people choose to use a guilty by association. Don lemon seventy four million. Americans voted for donald trump with the klux klan. And the nazis. His comparison last week. Wow katy kirk deprogramming. Npr lawyer re education camps. Take the kids away corporate america now they better follow the message to the first. They cancelled apparently lows over the weekend. Caved in some activists cancelled josh hawley fundraiser. Joseph goebbels unbelievable better think the same way now with all that said you would think well probably now people that supported the president now. Ninety three percent of republicans would vote for today. And i do believe rand. Paul is right if the senate republicans if they go along with this post election impeachment trial shift show. That's it that's probably. The republican party will fracture. It will splinter. And i don't think you ever i don't i don't know how they get back on track. Eight hundred nine four one. Pro-Trump mob storms the US Capitol, touting 'Stop the Steal'

"Insurrection resulting in scenes unlike any in living memory after days of prodding by president donald trump rioters descended on the capitol building in washington. Yesterday congress had gathered for a joint session to certify. President elect joe biden's victory under the provisions of s con res-. One cinema will now proceed as a body. Several republican lawmakers such as ted cruz began lodging. They're expected objections. The tallies recent polling shows that thirty nine percent of americans believe the election. That just occurred quote was rigged the midway through proceedings representatives were forced to flee from the chamber ushered into bunkers through underground passageways. Seeding the floor to a violent group of trump's supporters for hours tense standoff ensued as rioters posed for pictures in house speaker. Nancy pelosi's office and made off with capital podiums. And for those hours. Mr trump stayed silent. i call on president trump. Go on national television now to fulfill his oath and defend the constitution and demand and then to this siege. The eventually issued a video statement telling the rioters to leave but a condemnation. It was not. We have to have peace so go home. we love you. You're very special. You've seen what happens. You see the way others are treated. That are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel but go home and go home. It peace after the building had been cleared. Lawmakers returned and carried on with the vote confirming mr biden early this morning with little further drama and mr trump at last committed to a peaceful transfer of power via staffers. Tweet even as he continued to insist. The election was unfair. Like so much that has happened in the trump presidency. It's all shocking. But not entirely surprising leaving those on capitol hill to survey the damage to a story building and to american democracy. Now the site of an angry mob. Rampaging through america's legislature wandering around the senate floor breaking into legislator's offices. That's not the sort of thing that's happened before john. Fashion is the economist. us digital editor. Most americans think of that sort of thing if they think of it at all as the kind of thing that happens in other countries and i think that the the political and psychological fallout from that will last a very long time it really was watershed moment for american politics. Not in a good way and walk through exactly what happened here. So what happened was the donald trump spoke at a rally at around noon on the sixth and he told his supporters that he would never concede and he told them to walk to the capitol and show strength and be strong now. What they showed of course was a deeply trumpian. Facsimile of strengthens the temper tantrum. And while the joint session of congress to certify joe biden's victory was underway. They overwhelmed capital police and got into the building. The session was adjourned shortly after two pm. I think the secret service whisked away. Mike pence who is presiding because the vice president is also president of the senate capital office. Buildings were evacuated members shelter in place for rioters to all appearances ran rampant through the capital. And eventually the riott sort of petered out. They didn't really seem to have a plan or goal beyond that show of petulance that they convinced themselves with strength and shortly after eight pm the to has of congress gaveled back in and After some lengthy speeches they did their constitutional duty and certify. Joe biden's win and there will be big questions about how. The rioters managed the breach in the first place. I mean how do they organize beforehand. And were they arrested afterward while the rioters have been far right trump supporters and they organize themselves at least partly using social media for days leading up to yesterday. They discussed on social media how to sneak guns in. Dc which has strict gun control laws outta dodge and spread thin. The police presence one of them fantasize about setting up the gallows outside congress and hanging elected officials. That seems to be how they organize themselves. Were there any arrests. The capitol police let a lot of people leave with just a warning Now more arrests may follow the rioters. A lot of them for reasons that baffoni took pictures of themselves and can easily be identified but even so even if more residue follow to my mind the difference between the very thin police presence and the way they treated armed insurrectionists who broke into the capitol building and terrorized. Legislators and the way police treated and prepared for black lives matter protesters this summer in full riot gear and nasa physical presence. That difference is really striking and what about republicans in congress. What do you think the repercussions will be for them. The ones who supported mr trump's efforts to to to question to overturn the vote. The question of repercussions is really interesting. You know one reason. Republicans lined up behind the president. Trump's claims of manipulation election thefts which i strongly suspect they knew were false is because they believe the price for not doing so was greater than the price for doing so they worried that trump would support a primary challenge to them and twenty twenty two or twenty twenty four. That was their concern now. Kelly leffler is one of the two senators just lost in georgia. Initially said she would object but after the riots. Change your position. I don't think she would've done that if he genuinely believed the election was stolen. I suspect the same is true of a lot of the others who back president trump's challenges. I suspect they didn't really think that the election was stolen. They thought it was a smart political. Move not to get crosswise with president trump. now anyone who cares about the health of american democracy democrat republican libertarian. Anyone who likes living democracy. Hope that the senators and congressmen who tried to overturn election will pay a heavy price. But whether they actually will. I don't know that i'd bet on it. Most of them from safe seats. What about the republican party. More generally will they abandon trumpism. This does all of this demonstrate. The very real costs of trumpism. The more interesting question is how the republican party reaction. Toto because as popular is trump is with base voters. He's deeply unpopular with the broader electorate. Remember the he entered office with republicans in control of the white house and both chambers of congress and he will leave with democrats in the same position. The last time that happened the last time they had that trifecta party switch was eighteen. Ninety two and the results this year showed the republicans really can win with women and with non white voters with the right candidates. And so it's in. The party's interest to broaden its view and leave. trump isn't behind. And you know even people. Who seem like staunch allies like josh hawley and ted cruz. They want trump gone to right. They don't want him to be the twenty two thousand four nominee. They want to be the twenty twenty four nominee. But there's a first mover problem. Nobody wants to stick his neck out and get chopped off but if nobody moves. All trump retains as power which nobody also really wants and i would guess that they're hoping some combination of legal and financial trouble post-presidency sort of does him in politically so they won't have to and you know they may be right. They may get lucky.

Mitch McConnell to rebuke GOP challenge to certify Electoral College vote

"Members of congress will meet today to certify the electoral college results showing joe biden won the presidential election but was normally a formality has taken on some political drama as several lawmakers are expected to raise objections. We've reported the maneuver isn't expected to change the outcome. But there still could be a long term impact for more. I want to bring in national political reporter. Allies collins into the conversation was a good morning. Highmark elisa based off of your conversations with your sources is there concern of lasting damage some of these lawmakers who may be challenging. The results are brand new. And we'll have to have relationships with their colleagues on both sides of the aisle absolutely. Yes this is revealing a rift in the gop. And it's if you look at it. It's basically new members or members who might have twenty twenty four presidential ambitions or who come from very conservative states like louisiana versus members who've been in the senate for a long time mitch mcconnell. The senate majority leader urged his members not to do this. And it is very unusual for members to break with mitch mcconnell so the fact that some new members a handful of them are coming into the senate and this is one of the first things that they vote for could really cause issues within the republican caucus in the senate so what about the conversations within the parties. I mean specifically the republican party as you mentioned. Some republican leaders are encouraging their colleagues to retreat. Others not so much. There's a lot of concern and frustration with republicans. There are a handful of republicans who are up for reelection in two thousand twenty two in competitive states and they feel like their colleagues in possibly their ambitions. You know josh hawley of missouri. Ted cruz of texas are two names that keep popping up as people who they feel like are basically putting own interests their ambitions for twenty twenty four presidential runs they have not announced presidential runs. I have to be clear but they are two names that have been talked about possibly running in two thousand twenty four. They feel like they're omissions are putting themselves ahead of their colleagues and some of these senators up in two thousand twenty. Two are worried that they're basically going to have to either vote against the president who is still very popular with the party and possibly get a primary challenger from the right or you know vote with the president and hurt their chances in a general election in a state that is competitive and so there is a lot of frustration within the party. And that's what mitch. Mcconnell tried to urge republicans you know not to do. He basically said you'll be putting your colleagues you know endanger and they're just are you know about a dozen senators who basically ignored that message and for whatever reason decided that they are going to side with the president on this. Is there anything taking place. Maybe not so much in the public view to try and instill some stability and uniformity. So there were a lot of conversations. I think at this week people have really come out and made their decisions and said what they want to say and there are some real accusations out there especially with some of the senators who have said that they will vote against these efforts. You know they said my job is to defend the constitution. Some people are accusing their colleagues and their political ambitions over following the constitution. Now you know it's the daily reminder that there is no evidence of widespread fraud so it's really important to note that these dozen senators who are objecting. In over one hundred house members are objecting in states where there is no evidence of widespread fraud. The president has challenge this in many times in the courts. Been shot down and so there was a lot of conversations behind the scenes and concern initially but now many people have come out and said which way they'll vote and allies as you know from being in washington. The ratification of the electoral votes is ceremonial but d. c. is bracing for protests. Right this is something. President trump has urged his supporters to come to washington. He's really played up the day. You know making. It seem almost like the election will be overturned Which you know. We have no indication that that is possible worth talking about the split within the republican party. Of course no. Democrat is likely to stand with the president on this but Thousands of supporters have come to washington the mayor law enforcement in dc are urging residents to stay away. There's concern of violence And so we don't know exactly what's going to happen but we know that thousands of people are already in dc. Supporting the president on

"Arrests that are being made the post the social media postings the sort of Set celebrate tree mayor. Calpers that you've seen from so many of the participate participants in this assault on democracy. I think speaks of making the job of the priest and law enforcement little bit easier but also the naivety of some of them but that on the other hand there are truly hardcore. Militia types here who had organized Nefarious plans to take out as you say decapitate leadership so those are being uncovered. And i have no doubt that you're right when you say as time goes on. This looks worse. And the he can objection the constitutional objection to impeaching officeholder. Left office is weak according to constitutional scholars. I've listened to. I think the question here remains about what mcconnell himself ultimately. i think he's testing the waters. I think you know we have here. It's mlk day. Martin luther king day He said it's always the right time to do the right thing. And that's clearly never been the watch. Word of the republican party. Benz asked now saying the right thing. He wasn't before his reelection last year. Lindsey graham as you quoted at the beginning of the program said the right thing in two thousand sixteen. He isn't now. I would be interested on this. Mlk day and on this day when alexei navalny the russian dissident through the kgb tried to kill goes back to russia knowing full. Well what he's going back to showing the kind of courage that i would like to see show all the time. It's it's always the right time to do the right thing. So i think there's going to be a huge test of character and courage of republicans. You've always known who trump is. They cannot pretend that. Oh it was fine until this happened as some have been saying they have always known who trump is and i think this will be a fascinating test including of mcconnell of whether they have character been sets can also start by showing courage by actually calling for the expulsion of josh hawley and ted cruz. Six years until he has to run for reelection In so yeah the nothing like navalny going back to russia where he knows his life is on the line He can start by actually criticizing his own senate colleagues by name and calling for their expulsion. Senator Josh Hawley to contest electoral college results, forcing vote in the Senate

"Bunch of members of the house from House Republicans had suggested that they will be objecting to the official. Electoral college vote tally that takes place in Congress on January 6th. That is when Mike Pence will preside over the activities of the Congress and count these electoral college votes. Throughout history in America. It's been mostly a routine affair, with some exceptions along the way a specially this century. I'll get into that in a moment. But Josh Holly became the first United States senator yesterday to indicate that he would also object to the Electoral College certification process. On January 6. Here's what he said in his statement. Well, First of all, I don't recall hearing the Democrats make any such claims. Hold tight on that. That is him on Fox News last night, and I just I just want to read the statement that that Holly released, he said, following both the 2004 and 2016 elections. Democrats in Congress objected during the certification of electoral votes in order to raise concerns about election integrity. They were praised by Democratic leadership and the media when they did, and they were entitled to do so. But now those of us concerned about the integrity of this election are entitled Do the same. Holly says he can't vote to certify the electoral college results on January 6 without raising the fact that some states particularly Pennsylvania, failed to follow their own state election laws, and I cannot vote to certify without pointing out the unprecedented effort of mega corporations, including Facebook and Twitter. Interfere in this election in support of Joe Biden. At the very least, Congress should investigate allegations of voter fraud and adopt measures to secure the integrity of our elections. But Congress has so far failed to act and that's why Josh Holly says he will be issuing his objection. In January. 6 now Beverly. What makes this important is you need both a senator and a member of the house to do that, in order to force both both houses to take a break from that joint session and head back to their separate houses and have two hours of sustained debate over whether or not honor the objection. That means the house and the Senate will consider this objection. Because they got the requisite one senator and one member of the House to object. It doesn't mean it goes any further than that. And we know it won't because Nancy plus that controls the house.

"Their political agenda. Interestingly enough it links to a story in the new yorker by sue halprin quote how voting machine lobbyists undermine the democratic process. Georgia's two thousand. Eighteen election result is noteworthy because it was overseen by brian kemp. Interestingly interesting goes into how. Brian kemp is corrupted. By this. This is about a two thousand word peace and it says this at the end this is by a left wing blogosphere we think the issue of who counts are votes how they are counted and what ties the companies selling these systems. Have the politicians deserve more attention. We agree politicians who must win elections. In order to wield power must not be able to exert influence on the companies. Who relied a tally. Our votes. We need serious scrutiny over our elections so we can be assured that they represent the will of the people not the politicians themselves and the companies they hire to process our ballots the integrity of voting systems and the especially the ability to audit vote counts has been the subject of public debate for more than four decades but most of the recent attention has been focused. Only on dominion voting systems because of rudy giuliani in sydney pal. But it's simply a distraction so there's nothing to see their with dominion with espn s. Because we don't like the results totally corrupt can't wait for the activists media. Call everyone that talks about this conspiracy theorist but something tells me they're going to be elevated into looking into voting machines that sometimes give them results that they don't like and by the way there might be merit to their inquiry. That's the point. I'm open minded to any of that. Remember when joe biden said he wanted paper ballots. Let's go to cut thirty. Three joe biden says that we need a federal law to have a paper trail for voting machines for every federal election. Cut thirty three.

White House Offers $916 Billion Stimulus Proposal, Cutting Jobless Benefits

"Show. That price tag is pretty close to the framework that bipartisan group of lawmakers have been trying to hash out over the past week but there is one crucial difference. The white house plan includes another round of direct checks. Were six hundred dollars per cent whereas it pays for that by getting rid of the three hundred dollars a week boosted unemployment benefits. That's in that bipartisan framework. A senior white house aide tells me that the checks are a high priority for the president. Democratic leadership called the trade acceptable but the politics of this do not breakdown cleanly along party lines there are democrats like senator bernie sanders and congresswoman ilhan omar who were trying to rally support around direct payments and there are republicans. Like senator josh hawley. Who are calling for direct payments. That are double the size that are in the white house plant now. Lawmakers have given themselves until december eighteenth to try to reach some sort of agreement. And if they don't senate majority leader mitch. Mcconnell has suggested a fallback plan and that is to get rid of the things that they don't agree on including liability protections in state and local aid. And just pass the things that they do agree on guys. It's interesting that the right kind of bipartisanship would you say alon. We'll take any well. The question here is. Is there enough support around the direct checks at the expense of something else. I think the democrats would be happy to added another round of direct checks at six hundred dollars a person but they're not willing to do that at the expense of something else. And if you add that in there the price tag steadily starts to creep up there and maybe you're at a trillion dollars or so or maybe even a little bit more that becomes an uncomfortable place for republicans so once again. You're back at that jigsaw puzzle and trying to figure out what is the right mix of policies that can pass and at the end of the day. Mcconnell's suggestion may be the one that carries the most water. You know just go for a barebones super skinny package if you will And go home for the holidays and then let this fight be taken back up again once. There is a new president sitting in the white house and a new dynamic perhaps on capitol hill But right now. Negotiations are incredibly muddy. And it's unclear which of these ideas if any of them is going to win out alon just trying to think through the numbers on this. I mean even if we're talking about a skinny bill that mcconnell is now sounding like he's endorsing if you get rid of the liabilities which didn't have any funding behind it. I think if you get rid of the state and local government. I think the last i saw that number was around one hundred sixty billion dollars. You're still talking

Covid relief talks hit another wall as Congress runs short on time to send help

"The trump administration through another option on the table yesterday. Making nine hundred. Sixteen billion dollar offer to democrats. That has the support of senate majority leader mitch. Mcconnell according to the wall street journal the proposal came after democrats rejected. Mcconnell's attempt to narrow the scope of the relief and to exclude both assistance to state and local governments favored by democrats and liability protections which are favored by republicans. The president's plan eliminates the three hundred dollars per week and unemployment insurance. Found in the bipartisan. Bill democrats say that is a nonstarter. Join us now. Senior writer at politico co author of the playbook jake sherman. He is in msnbc political contributor. So jake a new one thrown into the table from secretary. Mnuchin lobs to nancy pelosi. So we've got the bipartisan nine hundred. Eight billion dollars. This new one from the white house. There's a lot of talk about things getting done. We had joe manchin and chris coons confidently on here yesterday. Saying they believe something will get done before the holiday recess but are we actually any closer to a deal. No this is ridiculous. Would i will say this though. So let's just take a step back yesterday mitch. Mcconnell as you said tried to remove the contentious issues from the table so democrats want state and local funding republicans. Don't republicans want liability overhaul democarcy democrats largely are opposed to that. So he said you know what. Let's deal with those later. Let's just do the things. We agree on democrats said note. This deal that steven mnuchin put on the table. While it doesn't have everything the democrats want is the broad outline of a deal that both sides could get around. I mean yes. The unemployment insurance enhanced unemployment insurance is lower than it probably should be according to most democrats but this is a negotiation right so the democrats can come back and say no. We don't want ex. We want expos five hundred and then you're on the brink of a deal. Willie you really are. Here's what i would say right now. This bipartisan group. god blessed them Democrats and republicans a room talking about covid relief. It's time is very short. So if they want to deal the leadership. Nancy pelosi and mitch mcconnell needs to get into a room and work something out because time is very short and people really need assistance. And it's not only new money. While it's programs are expiring. Very critical unemployment programs have expired or are expiring. ppp does program that has kept businesses open. Bipartisan program is done. Needs to be refreshed renewed. There's a lot on the line here not much time left. And so. Casey are the people you cover. Every day you inject both on capitol hill really prepared to go back and face. Their voters in saying sorry over the holidays. We just couldn't get anything done over the last six seven months that that's exactly what i was going to say really listening to jake talk about that. No is the answer. I mean going home the day after christmas these benefits many of them expire going home and trying to explain to people. Why that is. I mean people are hanging on by the fingernails by the skin of their teeth. They have been making it work for all of the time. But if this goes way economists people in both parties recognize and. I think the way that we talk about this important. It is a relief package. It's not a stimulus. It's not as though they're adding things into the economy. They are trying to patch holes. It's a much different too much. Different thing. And jake one one thing i wanted to underscore and to get your take on. Is this question about direct checks because as as you outlined. There's this complicated calculus between okay. They don't want president trump to blow it up mitch. Mcconnell wants to do what the president wants to do. Mcconnell's priority is liability. He said okay. I'll take that off the table. If democrats take their top priority off the table. Democrats go for that. I mean you've got all this back and forth but for people who are looking for a check in the mail. The president obviously wants to put his name on those checks. There are people like republican. Josh hawley in the senate who want to do that. What's your sense on whether this is actually something. That's going to end up in this bill. I mean i don't think democrats are gonna go for checks at the expense of unemployment insurance but do you think they can find a compromise on that i do i. I don't think it star off casey. I mean we reported yesterday. I believe the days Baumel together for me. But i think it was yesterday in playbook that mitch mcconnell was softening and he was coming around to the idea of direct payments in the bill. Obviously nancy pelosi is for them. Obviously chuck schumer is for them. The matrix is see here is state and local in liability ride together and then everything else is in the mix separately right. So there's i don't see in my estimation any sort of compromise that would sub out direct payments and unemployment direct payments are now firmly in the mix because the white house put it in And that's important amino democrats. There is theory out. There on mute for is undoubtedly casey among republicans on capitol hill that they that nancy pelosi and chuck schumer didn't want to check with donald trump's name on it at this point who cares right i mean if you're a democrat like just get these checks out the door i but i i agree with you casey. They can't solve out some of these unemployment insurance programs for direct checks. I don't think. I just think that would be a a trade off. That is a little bit arts at the swallow.

Pressure mounts for Biden to get high-level intelligence briefings

"More. Republican senators are admitting to reality today. Bringing the total to twelve in some form today. Lindsey graham chuck grassley rob portman. Mike rounds josh hawley. John cornyn and john thune who is number two to mitch. Mcconnell in the republican leadership said the joe biden should be given the president's daily brief on national security issues. Republican senator james langford of oklahoma said he would take action if joe biden doesn't get the president's daily brief tomorrow. There's nothing wrong with vice-president biden getting the briefings to be able to prepare himself and so that he can be ready to presence already getting those. There's nothing wrong with the former vice president getting those Kamala harris is on the intelligence committee. She has all the clearances that she needs to be able to do that. there is no loss From him getting the briefings and to be able to do that. And if that's not occurring by friday. Imagine that voice yelling over the helicopter noise as he condemned those republicans to white house. Reporters imagine what he would have said about them to his rally. "Really to me this is one of the idea Josh Hawley's licking his chops over the stuff I mean he goes he tweets wait wait you want to treat the federalist comment section which they don't curate as their speech but simultaneously say the content you directly host and modify is not your speech under section two thirty wow this is getting really interesting Josh Hawley is sitting over there on the corner rubbing his hands together just waiting just waiting yeah I'll get every thing that he you will want to throw it out and you're not gonna get to complain they walked right into this yeah Google's communications our policies do not allow ads to run against dangerous or derogatory content which includes comments on sites and we offer guidance and best practices to publishers on how complex you all you too thank Carl Sanders gone well I don't like chicken you all you too by the way it's our people to come after him the rate drop came from Mrs Butterworth you know as a matter of time an aunt Jemima and uncle Ben's and yes it is time uncle Ben's rice and then now that your post asks if the Dixie chicks should change their name and I am here to see them getting beaten by their own measuring stick I'm here for that I I mean it's a minor thing yeah I don't care it's it's it's syrup I don't care if it bothers you to remove it I don't care it's pancake syrup I mean use it come on in an instant pancakes too and it is the pancakes and then Mrs Butterworth I it's a brown syrup bottle to protect the sugar in the syrup I mean how the hell can you tell what it is I don't know you know what as someone who has some in some form of Irish ancestry I would like to speak on behalf of all white people and say that we are so offended over lucky charms we need to get that guy removed actually Irish people don't get upset over that in fact people who just would not I just I'm not gonna get upset over logos I'm just I'm not I'm we're not gonna be that we're not gonna be the people going after my Gandhi who apologize actually you see that so everything I said I take back I take it back I modified my post last night we got a lot to get into we're also here coming up we're going to be speaking to a village in who is a reporter with fox far out no way he has got some crazy information about police who are saying they're not going to deal with this anymore so we're gonna talk talk about all of that too as you get moving on home title lock is something you need to check into and the reason why is because all up title and mortgage fraud are the fastest growing white collar crimes in America your title information is public record at all very easy to get all somebody needs to steal your home is your street address the name in your title to a public record they get it from your kinda recorder's office it's actually easier than stealing a car which is white so fast growing.

"Would be unhappy M. and let's let's go back to the you know I was I was only half joking here Josh Hawley after the Supreme Court decisions proclaimed that this now is the end of the conservative judicial movement that there isn't one meaning if the best and the brightest conservative judges can side with the liberals on the Supreme Court on something nobody ever thought any sensible conservative would do then what is the point of having a conservative judicial movement it is the left that has a liberal judicial movement it is the left that finds judges that never wait for that never do anything but what they are to do they are to rule in favor of liberalism in every case they are to rule in favor of the liberal people in every case liberal policy they are there to write law from the bench that's their mission that's what they do we do not and yet we're the ones demonized we're the ones light whereas as vicious this means spirited conservative judicial movement out there its lead with a federalist society no Russia collusion seasons of all these incels are correct there is no holy is right there is no judicial conservative movement or camping but wholly also said what that proves is legislation doesn't happen in the Senate anymore and it doesn't happen in the house now let's take a look at this one case the Gorsuch case where texture Wilson was you used to go ahead and look at the Civil Rights Act of nineteen sixty four and say yep it included trans genders because we think it should but it didn't transgenders transgender ism was nothing when that law was written if you want the Civil Rights Act of nineteen sixty four to include trans genders than what you have to do is go back and write legislation forward they didn't want to do it the Republicans didn't want to do it because they don't want to get grief from conservative donors hello she didn't want to do it because she just assumed Republican turned coach on the court do it for her she wins a twofer here they get transgender ism in the Civil Rights Act plus they get conservative judges judges betraying the conservative movement that's a win win for her or any of the other Democrats out there that look at matters this way count wins and losses this way but the vast majority why this this this police reform bill that the R. the Senate is now is now debating I actually did a double take because you just you don't see actual legislation happening on Capitol Hill very much they farm everything out base closures M. unelected regulators writing regulation nobody ever sees until they run up against them judges making law from the bench except our judges don't they make their help liberals make law from the bench so it's some well no what it does is setting Holly up well for a presidential run in twenty twenty four and I thought I think you're going to want to Republicans right now that if we're if we're just talking about twenty twenty four right now now we're assuming that the trump era women were serving trump's going to want to win in November so the next presidential race where it'll be an open ticket would be twenty twenty four and right now Josh Hawley is making a move on it and so is Tom cotton and they are positioning themselves as heirs of the trump movement heirs of a populist movement they are not selling some return R. J. conservative small government you know whatever the old conservative arguments were smaller less spending smaller government they're setting themselves up to inherit the have the trump agenda which is populism make America great again and it's it's that's that's okay I'm I'm fine with that I think it's this call for them to already be thinking about this but I I I like both of their reactions to to what what is going on look at this headline Manhattan DA refuses declines to prosecute the man arrested who committed vandalism against St Patrick's cathedral you realize how often this is happening all over the country the vandals the rioters the looters none of them are being prosecuted why do you think that is well because of the root of it is black lives matter and everybody is scared to death of them literally scared to death of them and so it's just the path of least resistance okay we catch somebody loading we catch a bunch of people living memorizing no prosecution there's this firm out there that has a raise to thirty million dollars to bail some of these perks out of jail you know how much they spent as of yesterday two hundred thousand dollars so there's twenty nine million eight hundred thousand dollars hasn't been spent yet that has been raised on bail for black lives matter another type birds where where is that money where's that money go under that money's going right to the Democrat party it's going right to the presidential campaign it's going right to the Democratic National Committee what I mean where is it going the only place it can go but I do all of this talk about these police departments and how racist they are and how how how big it is and and how out of control they are didn't Bhama and Eric holder have the department of justice take over something like thirty six of these police departments under consent decrees they took over police departments from Oakland the Baltimore I can try to side load but Ferguson dozens of cities in between and you know why they did it these consent decrees are well known it was the way Obama wanted to federalize local police forces here holder had this as an objective federalize having me federal government control over as much as possible including local policing thirty six American police departments were taken over by the federal government they were demanded they were told that they had to do certain things and if they couldn't that the consent decree would apply and they were given impossible conditions to meet and so on a number these police departments and I'm not kidding open Baltimore ended up under the control of the federal government so how can there be any police racism or brutality after police departments have been under the enlightened control of the Obama holder administration how does that happen.

"Josh Hawley with us from Washington he's been making a lot of noise there and try to get some of his colleagues sort of headed in a certain direction comes to recovery plans we'll talk about the World Trade Organization as well Hey Josh how are you I'm doing great I'm doing great how are you mark I'm good I want to get into some of these issues that your that you're pushing here on the hill but I want to just ask you where you are overall on the subject of re opening the economy and I don't know if you I'm I'm guessing you did not because you're not on that committee this morning had a chance to see doctor Fauci the others testify so I guess that would be one question but just overall where are you on get the country moving again economically I think we got to get reopened is we possibly can and yeah we've got to do it in a in a healthy and safe manner and and that's why I think the way that did Missouri chose to do this where counties that they have very little indication of of continuing ramp up the spread of the virus can open up in and the county that that have greater numbers of cases can do that a little more stage manner but I think bottom line we need to get reopened as soon as is practical and I think we need to really push on that because people are losing their jobs were about to have a humanitarian crisis on our hands are folks can't put food on the table literally so we we've got to get re opened we can't so what's going on right now with what I guess referred to his face for because obviously there have been differences of philosophy moving through this whole process of how to spend the money we're hearing more and more from people Josh I think we knew this was gonna happen there are business owners out there that say look the people who need the money are not getting the money and some of the people who don't need the money or getting the money that was never going to be a perfect process for this but what have we learned I guess in the previous phases in what is Nancy Pelosi trying to pull in the house right now well what you trying to pull it out this is a whole bunch of money for politicians I mean it's really pay a lot for politicians market it to her politicians in the California who want all the money that they have spent over a decade wait did that on the property it's been inventing they know what federal taxpayers to make up the difference same deal in Illinois same deal in New Jersey New York I have precisely zero interest in doing that I would not vote for bail out like that my view is that we're going to spend more money than a hundred and fifty billion dollars the state the localities for co good relief if we need to send more it'd better darn well be tied to the corona virus itself not just bailing out a Democrat the profligate spending but in terms I think what we've learned but what we've learned is we need to be focusing on jobs what we learned as we've got thirty three million Americans who are out of work almost half a million in the state of Missouri and all of that in just the last six weeks we've never seen anything like this in our history of the country so we've got to get focused on jobs not bail out for politicians and special interests but jobs jobs jobs and I can tell you that's what I'm saying to my colleague here every single day yeah and I I even heard and I just Google this because I wanted to see if there was something to it here because I actually heard and your call will talk about earlier than in Alabama you have the lawmakers they're they're allocating two hundred million of some of the money that they got from the federal funding to build a new state house so that that's just baffling when you hear stories like that it's absurd I mean the idea that again we we have spent a hundred and fifty billion dollars of taxpayer money for state and municipal governments and hate I'm fine with that so long as it actually goes to helping with the corona virus but to build new buildings tend to bail out funds that have been overspent for decades into to put a check down the Democrats the pet projects in the state their wish list forget it I mean that's not what this is for this crisis is an opportunity to fleece the taxpayer we we got to get focused on the on the major needs here with his testing with your support to healthcare workers front line workers and jobs jobs jobs we'll let you and you've I think you've wisely cure credit focused on people blue collar workers who really need help right now but what is the best path forward I mean a lot of people look at the polling a lot of people expect and I just even saw a real interesting poll judge where the people who were supporting maybe further lockdowns were some of those people who are unemployed and further right now because I think they're saying look we wanna make sure were safe before we go back to work but those people are also assuming that they're going to have a job to go back to and I think at this point because of the way the economy is crumbling all bets are off so what is that best passport path forward well there's a new study up in university Chicago accident yesterday that showed that almost half of the jobs that are laid off had been designated as temporary will become permanent in the next few weeks right at the dock and to your point we know that the brunt of the job losses thirty three million the brunt of those are are blue collar workers because you know it's not easy for them to telecommute you know I mean the the upper class the white collar workers and looking at it it's fine if those people have job security they can open up their laptop work from home that's fine I mean I'm I'm glad for them but that doesn't work when you are somebody who works with your hand to your era killed trade or urine production so those folks in particular we have to make sure that we hold their job for them that we secure their job for them even if they can't physically go to the job right now they should be able to keep their job and as we open the economy we need to give businesses incentives to hire back workers you know a lot of right now we're faced a lot of businesses especially smaller ones who are want to re open but when they do re open their stand by we don't have any money to hire new workers I mean we can we can't hire anybody so there is a role here I would do it at the payroll tax rebate where we we give business B. bility to hire back workers and we protect the jobs that Missourians that Americans need an attack I think what our policy of the centre Josh Hawley with me this afternoon why does senator Josh Hawley hate the World Trade Organization but but you know I'm tired of that I do China I mean that's what it comes down to the end of the day we we said about two and a half million jobs to China our jobs over to China since China joined the World Trade Organization in two thousand one this feature international economic system right now international trade system I think it works for great China I tell you it doesn't work for very well Missouri and the rest of America and I'm tired of that and here's the other thing mark I am not willing to accept a future in which we have to continue seeing jobs go overseas in which we have to continue to subsidize the ride communist China and which we are told that you know Americans you've got to get used to maybe your middle class that not having a very bright future ahead I'm not willing to accept that and why your kids should be one yeah so and in the the reason I ask the question the way that I did is did not bear the headline years that you're calling in your piece in the York times calling for the WTO to be abolished how would that process work is it something because I don't I don't know the particulars you could we pull out of the W. T. O. are you advocating that were just that the whole thing gets blowed up we we can pull out of the WTO in fact I'd like you to vote on the floor of the United States Senate after withdrawing from the WTO and and mark if we did that that would that would effectively bring the received to an enemy we found that the WTO co founded in nineteen ninety five it would not exist without us we need to put together a coalition of like minded nations are allies partners other free nations who are also getting the short end of the stick here with China and the international trade system and we need to replace the WTO with them but actually works for American workers and protect our economic sovereignty it gives us a better future I because what we're looking at now is if we don't do something we're looking at a future where middle class wages flatline where China continues to grow build their military and and dominate economically and I for one am not willing to accept that futures look to some about it you know one thing that I heard this morning that hearing and I think you've addressed this issue senator is this horrified look we have a meat shortage you have workers that have gotten sick at some of these processing plants and now pork producers in particular have to sadly euthanize a lot of those animals and and I guess we won't go to market so you're you're trying to do something a little bit about that aren't you yeah yeah but now I've I've called USDA first of all to use the powers that they have in them and the spending that they have to buy up some of that slack right now you're exactly right farmers in our state and I can tell you mark I have talked to so many of them over the last few weeks and they are beside themselves because they have got livestock they have got commodities that are there ready to sell and they don't have anywhere to take up because the processing plants are closed because of the meat packing plants are closed so we have got to right now intervene to get some of that the plight of farmers have yeah the people who need it we've also got people in record food lines you can't sleep yeah this is war and this is one of those things I don't know how many people know about this I mean I I knew that the there were some things that were happening behind the scenes that were you know obviously problematic when it comes to the supply chain to meet but that this is something I think that should be a priority right because the number that I saw is of four hundred thousand animals per week that have to be disposed of because there's no place to process them yeah exactly right you big about pork producers in our state for instance you know I'll be able to wire the farmers doing that well they don't have any place to keep the hog I mean there's no physical space for the for the hogs that are ready to go to market so they don't have any choice you wanna talk about making a painful decision about this farmer's field who have put their wrong their whole lives into raising the talk to their livelihood they're proud of this product and now they've got to go and euthanized the animal and bury it I mean it is it is terrible it is terrible for everybody and not least the people who can't get food so that federal government has the emergency power to buy up the minute the plight number one number two we need to get the the meat packing plants re opened and the president has signed an executive order to do that and number three mark we need to look at the consolidation of meat packing and processing in the country we've got an anti trust problem here I think I mean we only have a couple three meat Packers and processors left in the country and if you talk to our farmers with they'll tell you with I don't have any option in selling my livestock I don't have anywhere I can go there's no competition we need to get some competition back Sara Ali we've gone a little too long but I wanted to get the answer that question I appreciate it thank you very much and keep us posted on everything Josh I'll do it thank you that is just a horrifying situation was not dialed into the urgency of the you know the situation with hot farmers and I think that the California you're dealing with something similar as well take a break here will get you up to the top of the hour Carol has the news after that we'll talk with the doctor Benjamin Akande who has a new gig by the way used to be with washing universities got some thoughts on re opening the economy as that's sore nursing homes are becoming the new killing fields of the corona virus and Greg Kelly is exposing the dangers of nursing homes to our seniors and it's terrible cover it could be the biggest scandal of the.

The Federal Reserve has taken massive steps to help markets

"Everybody it's the end of week three I think check me on that of the greater parts of this economy being shut down and as we saw in the unemployment claims numbers the damage is mounting even as political talk turns to re opening this economy so here for five maybe five and a half I don't know we'll see minutes of live radio to look back and examine our head along from The Washington Post also city Bready from politico a U. two thank I. K. heather let me start with you and the federal reserve chair Powell I guess yesterday with that big move on getting more money this money into this economy two point three trillion dollars he's done kidding around is the impression I get he has come out firing every busy okay he's got really quickly and the stock market loves that people keep asking why did the stock market rally ten percent this week you know we have seventeen million people out of work and a big part of that is the federal reserve is she keeps putting out massive amounts of money it's a backstop pretty much every part of the market what's new this week is for the first time ever the fed announced it is actually going to make direct loans to companies and two states and municipalities so that's never happened before and it tells you how cash strapped and desperate cast somebody parts the economy are all right so we're gonna get to the disconnect between the markets in the real economy which I'll talk about a lot and in his address in his remarks yesterday was the real economy but seemed to city talk to me for a second but the Congress of the United States representatives of the people and where they are in this whole crisis they are mostly playing along this is kind of remarkable to see we've we a decade ago and since then I've had some pretty brutal discussions about the philosophy of government intervening in the economy and today most of the discussion there about tactics about how do you have the government intervening in the economy not whether the government should intervene and so you have Republican lawmakers who are trying to one up each other hi in in coming up with ways to inject more money into the economy senator I Josh Hawley from Missouri is is proposing that we just have the government Hey everybody just like or money in and pay everyone don't even worry about trying to route it through businesses which actually it is probably a cleaner way to do it just have the government do a total takeover of the economy for X. number of months the big problem is nobody knows what that access right good point and this is the only thing was really really interesting but heather I do wonder whether Congress appreciates the velocity with which things are happening well they're certainly trying to make things happen but it's it's just not fast enough you when you have this many people seventeen million unemployed who are trying to get these unemployment benefits a lot of people I talk to you you know they've called a hundred times a day to try to get through to an offense to get this this aid in this release and two or three weeks later they still haven't gotten their first check same thing with small businesses I talked to a small business owner this week from Michigan and he called the US small business administration to check up on worse as loans and he was color number sixteen thousand something and that phone and so I I think you know the government and a government terms they're acting at warp speed at light speed if you well but for the real economy we hadn't never seen a deterioration this quick in like less than a month and it says the money is not getting out fast enough city but as I said political talk is starting to turn to has turned to actually now for a week or two with the idea of re opening this government do you think it's possible to get things going again in stages as summer talking about yeah it is possible for for us to do what is called re opening the economy but what that actually means is going to be really different in reality than just saying that it's happening it's going to obviously happens slowly and deliberately most of Montana and Wyoming are gonna come back a lot faster than most of New York and California but like what does it look like when you have restaurants being ordered that they have to have every other table empty maybe every every every S. front we'll have half of their seats a third of their seeds and that they can actually sell that's going to continue throughout the summer and maybe into the fall and so when we when we we talk about re opening the economy there's a false sense that maybe it's like flipping a switch and it's not it's like slowly releasing the valves and letting people come back in with masks on wearing gloves like you've never seen before and it will look like a very different system and it's not going to inspire confidence and most people to to have that slow process but it's certainly better than where we are right now with everything shut down obsolete shear bolt up at next week's the other stories to be done about definitions of terms and what that means heather along really quickly and by really quickly I mean like thirty seconds the markets are looking at the economy and saying I don't really care the feds give me is two trillion dollars there's a disconnect here between Wall Street in the real economy right there it definitely is right now the other thing is the market's looking about six months out and it's starting to see some weird glimmer of hope in that idea of the zombie economy that so we were just talking about that what if it partially reopens will be still be some money flowing again but of course if you're a small business owner who made you might have fifty percent of tables filled in the respite restaurant empty that's no consolation

"So there's no actual money changing hands here. I think so and I couldn't understand what that does. But once more bottle caps. I don't know why. And it was like under they said because it would balance the economy better than stop inflation. I know it's not real I spent some time. Here's what it didn't include it. Sorry fronted up. Maybe the know. Here's here's all you need to say. There was a fall at seventy six story. Something bad happen. That's weird. Said it was good. I couldn't really follow at seventy six people were playing. So. Yeah. Some people are still playing inexplicably against taxes taxing fake bottlecaps. What by tax money is actually doing keep server bay going with the bulk? I don't know like is this going into us military budget. What's happening? I don't know. All right. Well, we're getting some whiplash from these stories, I push probably put these some kind of order whatever but box law, actually, finally good shit. So remember all the loop box stuff. No. How could I forget my gosh. I can't summit all up here. I'm kidding. How the hell could anyone for boxes? Please. Please have outlawed blue pox places have outlawed boxes or places that love the loop boxes loop boxes. Nobody loves loobox hot game makers issue. You know, who doesn't like them apparently center. Josh Hawley of a Missouri. Republican zuri has introduced a Bill or nounce the Bill that would ban loot boxes and pay to win micro transactions in games that are quote played by miners. K G. I read the one page of this kind of summary of this. It's it's I I have a gut reaction and this comes from years of reading I have a gut reaction from save the children legislation. Yeah. My immediate reaction is okay. I have a gut reaction to that. I also have a gut reaction to politicians getting involved in video games. Sure. I understand that comes from a place when things were pretty rotten when it came to that stuff. Yeah. I mean, the okay now that being said I'm not opposed to some loop box. Regulation. Would I be happy? If the industry just kind of self regulated. Yes. Do I think that's going to happen? Absolutely. Not probably. Okay. So let's say your Senator Vincent caravel don't which that that even now I'm just saying from the great state of New York. And you're only mission is to introduce legislation that curbs. Loot boxes and gambling mechanics. What what do you propose? What do I propose? I think some of the I think I've mentioned actually some of this before I'm k- net, you really sound like a politics, but my opponent is. My whole thing is like what do you do? Like I understand where you're coming from. So the things that I think I talked about that I don't know all the mechanics of the business side of it. But things that make it more transparent things that they have kind of done, which is you gotta put your chances of what you get up in there. Right. Like the warning label on the cigarette pack, the other thing, I would do which I know developers would hate is you within a month period, you need to put how much you spent on screen in that game in the real real dollars. Hey, would you like to buy loop box currently spent eight hundred seventy dollars on.

"Then looks back up at me. And he goes, but I'm also concerned that the big corporations have moved away and the net has led to and I'm paraphrasing from a launch that I certainly wouldn't. Because we also as you can imagine talked about that was right when the cavenaugh thing was wrapping up, and he of course, was prominent very prominent with Clarence Thomas. So we could relive that. And I recognize that those private conversations, but this is about Saint Louis, and he said something along the lines of that those corporations leaving in those dollars leaving have led to a vacuum of leadership in the region, which is something that I ascribed to as well. But I don't view it that way because I think of it more. I suppose, but oftentimes, you know, one of the people he mentioned, I know my dad always mentioned them. And I don't know if it's somebody that would even come to your mind because he's been gone for a long time. But in Saint Louis, especially in broadcasting, he was like the guy, and that's Bob Highland that when there were issues outside of Saint Louis cammo X. Yes. Yeah. Big big big name nineties. Yeah. I mean, I think seventies eighties nineties, absolutely. Absolutely. I mean, he was definitely before me the guy before me. But I mean, I knew of him and people talk about them like when it was us endeared orphan Bach and Kelly at that station that he was the guy, but beyond that that you had also some corporate citizens who if there were issues in New York or LA or Chicago, they would make sure that Saint Louis was taken care, of course, the brewery being a factor in that as well. And so- Danforth's position is were lacking that see I look at it from a political side, and it's not meant as a criticism of a number of people who have haven't. I'd love to interview Ida Cruz center. Steve Sanger, we've tried to get him in Mark montavani. He's been in a couple of times. But that I don't feel like light accrues in Steve stagger. Josh Hawley, ROY blunt, certainly Eric writings, even before everything that happened governor Parsons, I don't feel like people, especially I call it. Call younger, even though in forty two but people in their twenties still feel young. Okay. What what age are you forty four? All right. Yeah. See I I feel like we're young cat. It's in our forties. I mean, yeah, I feel young. And that is I'm to say. He's leaving my house. I said you've you me as a peer because I look at you as a peer, but essentially could be your father, you know, in a kinda hit you're gonna hit lost though, aren't you? Yeah. So he just had to of course, I in the The same. same Missouri together. Got a four year old got a one year old. We're young. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. You have to be doing that. I'm chad. And this guy around I'm out of breath. Congratulations, man. God bless. Thank you so much long hard grind to get their. Yes. We we love it. It is amazing thing. Yeah. Like, I had all kinds of creepy fund. Which is probably the reason. What may main reason why I'm not electable? Fat and being agnostic zuri. You're saying you're on the ballot. You the haggling, right? Exactly. Exactly. What if this guy? Do there's a lot of hanging out with porn stars and stuff probably not. But what at least four about it? I mean, I don't apologize for it. I mean, it seems like it can get you in the White House. But with regard to. But with regard to with the Saint Louis corporate citizens, I don't feel like those people that I named..

I just said I just had a nice phone call from Senator mccaskill she couldn't have been more gracious. She conceded the race. I want to thank her for service. And I had a very nice call with the president of the United States. Thank you, Mr President for your leadership. Thank you for believing in Missouri tonight. The people of Missouri have delivered. Another big call to make this one Florida governor Rhonda sandwich will win the Florida governor's race against Andrew gillum. I'd like to thank our president for standing by me when. For standing by me when it wasn't necessarily the smart thing to do. Mr president. I look forward to working with you to advance Florida's priorities. But I promise you this. As governor. I will fight the good fight. I will finish the race. And I will keep the faith on behalf of the great state of Florida, and the wonderful people we have him. Thank you. We can now the Texas raised we'll go to the incumbent Republican that also gives us the ability to call the Senate or Republicans. They will retain the Senate with a number of big wins. So far tonight, Texas canes again. Behind a common sense. Of low taxes, low regulations and lots and lots of John Fox News projecting that Rick Scott will be Bill Nelson in the Senate race in Florida. That is another pickup for Republicans. I didn't go to Tallahassee eight years ago to be everybody's friend. I'm now going to DC to win a popularity contest. I'm going to get something done. Erase call Indiana. Mike Braun, the Republican will defeat incumbent democrat Joe Donnelly, this is a huge win for the Republicans. This is a pickup for the Republicans taking down incumbent Donnelly who Democrats really believed was in good shape heading into election day. We've got two years to show that as conservatives we can make things work we need to get our president reelected. And what we're gonna do. Here's we're going to get more people from the real world that have had to do things that can fix things in a dysfunctional system. You're gonna find that other people across this country are going to stick their neck out and take a risk and try to fix things in Washington. So the system works for everyone. That's my goal. So the other hand you had some that decided to let stay away. Let's stay away. They did very poorly. I'm not sure that I should be happier said, but if you're just fine about it. Carlos cupola, Mike Coffman. Mike. Me love me love. She call me all the time to help her with a hostage situation being held hostage in Venezuela. But Mia love gave me no love and she lost to bed. Sorry about that. Yeah. And Barbara Comstock was another one. I mean, I think she could have won that race which he did go on a have any embrace. All right. That's the president talking about those candidates that did not want his help and support. I can tell you that I think Menendez for example in New Jersey was far more vulnerable. But the the ads the Bob HOGAN were running. We add them on yesterday. I don't have time to ask him. A lot of them were anti-trump I'll be independent from Trump. So he was trying to be basically, a watered-down democrat that strategy didn't work those that embrace the president did extraordinarily. Well, you know, the I can't. You can't underestimate the history of what happened yesterday. If you go back to prior midterm elections and go all the way back to Brooklyn Roosevelt, and you see that in midterms usually, they're a massive losses..

"Are today. Polls will start opening soon and Democrats face a steep path. Their quest to regain control of the US Senate. They need a net gain of two seats. The flip control of the Senate, but several democratic incumbents are in tough races in states at Donald Trump carried the two thousand sixteen presidential election. The president wrapped up his premed term blitz with three stops yesterday, including Missouri. Where democratic Senator Claire mccaskill is looking to fend off a challenge from state attorney general Josh Holly, Peter Baker of the New York Times says it'll be important to watch what happens to mccaskill because it could be a sign of what will happen elsewhere across the country. She voted against judge Cavin offered stream courts you voted against tax cuts. So she is seen by the Trump forces as a as a key example of the kind of red state democrat. They wanna be able to take out she basis Josh Hawley. I pre- energize young conservative Republican. Missouri voters will also decide whether to legalize marijuana in the show me state. "The hour. A new this morning, MS Missouri, Republican candidate Josh Hawley used Thursday debate to try to paint his democratic opponent Senator Claire mccaskill as too liberal for the increasingly red state of Missouri. This wall mccaskill continue to hammer her challenger over his positions on healthcare. Holly is tied himself. The President Trump who won Missouri by nearly nineteen percentage points at the two also weighed in on missing Saudi journalist, Jamal kashogi. I believe that if it is shown that the that the prince of Saudi Arabia was involved in ordering the murder. This journalists in a brutal fashion as is being reported in Turkish press than everything has to be on the table. You know, we are beacon to the world when it comes to our democracy, and our values we have a role in the world. I do not think we can abandon. Our place on top of the hill telling the rest of the world that we appreciate freedom of the press, and we believe in human rights and democracy. And then look the other way because it might it might cause problems in terms of some kind of financial transactions, Mr. hall. I think we need to get the facts. And I think that secretary Pompilio understand has has demanded the facts from the Saudi government has given them a deadline. We want the facts by this date working with the Turkish government is well to get everything that they know. And if indeed the Saudi government has been involved or in any way in the death of this journalist, then I think that all options do need to be on the table, and the the consequences need to be severe. I believe in the second amendment. I believe in protecting the second amendment rights of everybody and law abiding, folks, my my view is we've got to keep weapons out of the hands of those who are criminals of those who are dangerous and.

"Josh hawley. Then you have this clown tester in Montana, the incumbent democrat and their teeth about who they are. Lying through their teeth. What their party represents are trying to make their party. Look like a bunch of moderates. They're trying to make it look like Democrats today are moderates and mainstreamers and not extremists. And they're not they are radical leftist to are inspiring mob behavior on part of democrat voters. And here comes Thomas b Edsall in the New York Times piece claiming that the democrat moved to the left is not an illusion. Thomas edsall's piece undercuts mccaskill Renison and tester in Montana. Oh, no, no, no. We're really all left us. This is real. It's been going on for a long time. And there's nothing fake about it. It's not an illusion. We are radical leftist. Furthermore, are radical leftism is being led by radical white women. Who are these women because the stories are that the Republicans are really making Bank with conservative suburban was suburban women conservative. But suburban women. Both single and married who are these. Or lease radical leftist women that are slowly becoming the dominant force in the democrat party. But well, we know who they are. They are in raged angry feminists who have. Then defense minister studies schools, and they literally hate. They hate men. They hate it. Anything to do with the patriarchy and their numbers in the democrat party are growing, and as I go through the stack of stuff here that I was able to amass while still appearing with with Hannity. Yeah. Here we go. This is the hill dot com. Headline Trump attacks fueled GOP fears about losing suburban women. President Trump's personal attacks on women are fuelling Republican fears that the party may lose suburban female voters in November. The president's latest insult aimed at the adult film. Actress why don't we just the porn star? Actress stormy Daniels comes just three weeks before the midterm elections have right on the heels of a bruising confirmation battle over cabin on Republican lawmakers were quick to condemn Trump's offensive remarks in which he called Daniels horseface. There's no place for that kind of language. I shouldn't have said that said speaker Paul Ryan who is usually measured in his criticism of the president. Republicans strategic. Liz, mayor said, yeah. Yes, this another Trump tweet in an on going pattern when you constantly behave in an outrageous fashion. People get immunized and numb to it. And in fact. Right on cue. I have a piece in the Wall Street Journal the day written, Mr. Snerdley does the name Lance Morrow ring, a bell to you. Lance Morrow used to practically run time magazine back in the premier journalists who was not an executive, but he practically ran the place. I met him at Mr. Buckley's home. He and Buckley were good buds, but Lance Morrow. A it typical journalist, which means leans left, and so far he's got a piece in the Wall Street Journal. That is the headline is we've grown accustomed Trump. You've always concern is that Trump's outrageousness no longer fuels anger on the left as it should gives people have just got used to it. And if the anger subsides, it's bad because that's the only thing the Democrats have to get their people to the polls. And here comes Liz mayor a Republican strategist making the same point. But she's not doing it in a positive way. Yeah. You know what? This guy's been a reprobate for so long it just people have gotten used to it. She says. I don't believe the headline Trump attacks fuel report. Well, maybe the headline is true. Republicans fearful about losing suburban women. But I don't think Trump's comment stop and think for a minute here. There may be an isolated case of a suburban woman. Thinking that I can't support this guy. He just called a porn star horseface. But this election is really important and people that are involved in this election know, how important it is. And people that have voted for Trump in the past and have voted Republican know how important I just don't. I don't think the media has learned its lesson yet. This is not the kind of thing that is going to cause Trump to lose an election meetings a few votes here. It may it may have caused other Republican candidates to lose maybe holy elections. But but but not Trump. I just think it's all part of the equation in which Trump critics still don't get it. They don't get the bond between Trump and his supporters. They never will understand it because they're not curious to understand it. So they take these things if they think are just outrageous insults. Just totally impermissible in American politics. And they assume this is it dad zip Trump's finished, this has to be and not even the access Hollywood video in it. This isn't gonna do it. From the hill dot com. Trump threatens military action of Mexico does not stop this immigration onslaught President Trump today warned that he may take military action to stop immigrants from crossing the southern border into the US may not take action to stop the onslaught. This is the caravan. It's headed our way. Trump railed against Guatemala Honduras, and El Salvador saying that they have almost no control over their population. I'm watching the democrat party led because they want open borders and existing week laws. I'm watching a democrat party led assault on our country by Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador leaders are doing little to stop this large flow of people, including many criminals entering from Mexico to the US these people. I I talking earlier I'm trying I know that that the Democrats somebody has to be paying for this. There is somebody out there. And maybe a lot of them who really think that somehow this is going to help Democrats get votes. By sending a caravan of four thousand ill legal non-citizen Americans on a caravan all the way up from Guatemala and Honduras through Mexico. Right before the midterm elections. As we discussed somebody's paying for this that somebody they have to eat. They have to be drinking things they've got to be using facilities. Somebody has to be buying the gasoline transport vehicles powered vehicles that are being used here. I guarantee you these people are not walking every step of this thousands of miles journey. So who thinks that this caravan arriving within a week say? Of the midterm election date helps Democrats by itself. How does this help? This is what got Donald Trump elected. This is what turned out the giant Trump coalition the invasion at the southern border that neither political party took one step to stop. So what's the calculation here? Well, we had a caller earlier suggesting that the calculation may well be that there has to be something. Go wrong. You put four thousand people on a track. There's gotta be somebody gets sick. There has to be some fights break breakout somewhere. Somebody on this gang of people's gotta have a gun. All it's gonna take is one little incident of violence. Maybe an allegation of sexual abuse. And maybe started by Trump law enforcement personnel. I wouldn't put it past them. If that's the if that's the game plan, but I'm struggling to see. Other than just the general chaos. It's creating and maybe the Democrats think that people want to stop this chaos into this chaos is only because Trump that Trump weren't there. None of this would be happening in. So let's get rid of the Republicans. Republicans are the reason we have to put up with chaos everyday. If that's the calculation they are going to blow this like they haven't blown much else in politics. That's not at all what the conclusion average Americans are gonna have. If this caravan getting closer and closer to the border. Let me head back to the phones got time to work some in here to make up for the first hour where we didn't get any in. And this is Andrew in Cleveland. Thank you for waiting, sir. You're up next. Good afternoon rush. Hey. As for the Hannity interview. I'm sure being broadcast professionally knocked it out of the park. If you've been indulge me just a second. I'd like to say I love you to my wife, Kim was always told me to call. You should call your call. You will finally got through rush. My my point is all of these illegals coming up to South America. Nobody's talking about the fact of the diseases they bring along with them since they're not very nice. And if you've been reports recently. Yeah, the new disease out called will not a new disease the disease out free. Call eight F M polio light, it's disabling and also killing American children back in twenty fourteen and twenty six. And there was an outbreak. Let me say this the CDC as of now has not said, they're not sure where it came from twenty fourteen twenty sixteen we had a similar outbreak. Yeah. And I'm having a tough time finding the Knicks on the internet. So that seems to be getting scrubbed but on January twenty sixteen on websites on natural news. The headline read enteroviruses sixty linked to legal immigration fatal polio like Vilnis, killing America's right, right? Right right now. Coming out and people aren't coming up because it leads to much credence to Trump's call for wall. If somebody was actually telling the truth and the drive by media, don't you think that this would have some affect time? Those moms with small children. Yeah. I do. I. This is another really good point the news. It's it's amazing. How these things remain isolated. We are here in the midst of an invasion of people from various backgrounds various countries in Central America and South America and just independently of some days separation apart. There's a story of my shockingly unforeseen increase in polio cases in the United States and the stories feature medical professionals who are stumped. They can't figure out why this was happening. They can't they can't even make educated guesses as to what might be the origins of this. And then a couple of days go by and there's another story of mass numbers of people from various parts of the country now world South America, Central America. There's no question these things are related. Well, I say there's no question common sense tells you there's a relationship here. But you're you're absolutely right. There cannot be any official you if you have the CDC or anybody else establishing the fact that the new cases of polio or other diseases that we have previously cured and stamped out another showing up again. If there were ever official linkage to undocumented people arriving in the cut, wow. Can't have that camp. Have that at all? So the connection isn't made its left for people to conclude themselves. If they if they do. But you see it goes beyond that. I remember one of the things I mentioned the Hannity today. He he was reciting all of the economic improvements statistically things that have happened during the Trump presidency. And at some point toward the antibody stopped him. And I said, you you're gonna realize something though that there's an entire political party to whom the news. You just mentioned is bad. Get makes the mad. They're angry about it. They're trying to suppress this. They they're not happy. With good economic news. They're not happy that people's lives are improving. They're not happy that there are jobs. Go order choose from. They're not happy that wages are going up. That people are getting bonuses. They are not happy. That more people are working. They're not happy. The economy is growing to the point of absorbing all the new people at one job. So why is that who in the world could be unhappy by this who could be made unhappy by this? The answer is very clear. I don't want to give it all away. When I told him that I think whatever arguments were having here, they are still all circling and focused on the age old argument between conservative, and liberalism, and that is the role of government in people's lives. And the answer to why people on the left are unhappy at great economic news is because they can't claim credit for it and it threatens their whole existence where in people are not capable of this and need to vote democrat to basically live. They need to vote democrat need to continue to vote democrat because only the government can provide for people only the government can can protect people against the injustice discrimination. And so as as looney tunes as the as the democrat party is getting and as they have incorporated, more and more psychological disorders that people have and now are turning those disorders into political causes that then demand the government fix. We have an impossible situation, the government cannot fix psychological disorders, the government's not responsible for fixing all. All of these problems that these people have that have made them victims by becoming victims. They are absolved of any responsibility. And they are demanding that government cared at government fix it. While the more independent success people have..

"Us here. In real American media. But CBS NBC, for example, nationwide. And none of the Saint Louis TV stations were showing or even talking about the video. So what a Claire do she called everybody's attention to it? She should have just shut up. She should send nothing. But what she did. She went out and she accused her opponent. Of being involved in this trick Josh Hawley the Republican candidate. And then she demanded some kind of investigation special counsel or something to find out how this guy was engaging in illegal political tactics. When he had nothing to do with it. Josh holy had nothing to do with what O'Keefe and Project Veritas were doing. But mccaskill has come along and has demanded that there be an investigation or or some something happened to Hawley because of this this has forced media outlets in Saint Louis to play the video. So they understand what it is. She's talking about. So she succeeded. In getting the video played on Saint Louis TV. You remember it was Claire mccaskill this was could this be six years twelve years ago? Remember, the one of the previous Claire mccaskill campaigns. The big issue in that campaign was stem cell research. And she ran an ad recorded by Michael J, FOX, which I of course, your host immediately called out for the phony nature that was. And. Talent. I think was down by three at the time is avenue where she went on to to to win and Michael J. Fox's add got the credit. He ran the same ad against another Republican in Maryland. Michael steele. On the same stem cells now where stem cells in the stem cells that we're going to cure ever that remember stem cells are going to cure, blindness going to cure, paralysis stem cells are gonna cure Parkinson's. What's happened to stem cells? Where are they? Zero. Adult stem cells zero though, sorry other way, round embryonic stem cells zero. And that's what the ad was about. It was about justifying. Abortion in order to get. Embryonic stem cells have we cured anything wisdom. So we haven't. Anyway. So mccaskill one with that we're now now she's in another campaign again this time against Josh Hawley. And she's been exposed as being fraudulent or phony on her attitudes regarding guns and the and the second amendment now. Trump Trump's head into Montana. What is this the third trip that Trump's taken Montana in a month? Trump is going out there. Don't tell anybody this. But Trump's target here is Jon tester, the incumbent Democrats Senate for Montana that race Trump wants a Republican went. Well, we all do, but but Trump is. Thank you so much for taking my call anytime anytime, it's truly an honor to speak to you someone with such close ties to God. And I have a prediction in regards to this caravan as obvious as it may be to students of the ACS in an effort to affect the midterms. I am convinced that in the next couple of weeks the drive by media. We'll start with reports of casualties specifically, women and children. I'm sorry to say, but it will be directly linked to the president. And these reports of his order to send the military to the border. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. We near the question the question they're going to be fatalities. You mean just gonna die or will there be killings? Good question. I think that you know, we all understand the heartstrings of these liberals and true or not. I believe that there will be lots of reports about it could be potentially sexual assaults. But you know, it will do. So it will impact, you know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's exactly that's what it's all sexual assaults on the caravan. Trump supporters energized by Trump refusing sexual assault of the women and children on the caravan with by people traceable to Trump this is what the media will report. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I can see that. And if I may rush I would just like to say, Mr President, if you're listening, and I know you are course, we love you and keep up the great work, sir. Thank you Christian. Josh Hawley each at forty five percents. We have been traveling this state talking to voters and candidates in this very closely watched election nasty, it's dirty. It's unfair. You know, what it's worth it? That is the sound of Missouri Senator Claire mccaskill fighting for her political life. She is a sixty five year old two-term democrat in a state the president one in two thousand sixteen by nearly twenty points. How does Claire mccaskill get things done from zuri mccaskill did vote nearly half the time and supported President Trump's agenda. She hasn't kept it secret. I don't do a knee jerk opposition to the president. I try. Try to figure out each nomination and each policy position based on the merits, and I have to explain it to Missourians. But would you call his presidency a success? I think it's a work in progress. And I think that's up to voters. This election is about saving our country mccaskill is opponent. Josh holy says, she hasn't voted with president on anything that matters Senator mccaskill inner democrat allies have a radical left wing agenda. The holy is the state's attorney general thirty eight year old Yale Law School graduate who wants clerked for chief Justice John Roberts. He's a conservative who is hooked himself to the president. And he hopes to the voters who put him in the White House. They did that because he said he would go out and fight for our values. And the things we believe in. I think he's doing that as long as he's doing that. I'm going to be for him. Is there anything you disagree with him? Well, I would say that look I would encourage him to keep a hard line on spending. I think the way that congress has forced this outrageous spending on him is something that is not good. Half of Missouri voters are satisfied with the way things are going in the country. The other half are nuts. Mccaskill leads among women Hali is ahead. Among men one of the key issues.
