Now micr swimmers are small particles that can move through liquid on their own by interacting with their environment through chemical reactions. The platinum coating on the micro move swimmers reacts with hydrogen peroxide solution that they are in and that propels them through the liquid by studying synthetic micro swimmers. We would like to understand biological micro swimmers. "OK, Are we going to go broad like broad spectrum? Are we going to be like legitimate family kind of dynamic reality TV shows it's going to be broadcast mines. Okay, the expedition unknown, which is technically an adventure show, but it's also a reality show. And basically Josh Gates, who I love And I feel so much better about this because Alice Cooper the Alice Cooper saw him on a street corner in San Francisco and, like just popped in on Ah, random filming. It was like, Dude, I love you so much, And I was like, Thank God. Alice Cooper and I are the lame people that loved Josh Gates from expedition unknown, but that's mine. Okay, you got we're going way back. Jackass. Oh, yeah, And they have all those spin off their trying to be a jackass, And they're not good, And you know, I was high school college, and that's that humor right there, guys acting like idiots, You know that, And it was really exactly the first variation of something is always the best. I feel like everything else. Yeah, Everything else is just a copy and it's not as good Okay, number two. Alright. So today was the Trump parade? Yes, not going to get political here. But what is your favorite or best parade memory back in the day like when you could still do this. The small, small town I grew up in had. I believe it was 1/4 of July Parade once say, And it was that or a memorial Day parade 122, and they would throw out candy. And so it was always the cheap candy that right so they had, but they had those like Strawberry Candies, the hard Candies with the filling, and I never got those because my parents were relatively healthy. So I never got that kind of like gross candy. And I love that every year. That was like what I look forward to. Because I actually could, you know, like, Get lots of candy and just hoard candy. And it was awesome. And, Yeah, it's very sad. Now. I don't eat candy at all. And my parents one after all. There you go. I'm going to say my first Time participating in the Finley markets, opening day parade. That's right, which you had something to do with you Drive that you drove the car right? First year I walked with Jim Scott has a sign. Okay? And I'm pretty sure I think it was you that told somebody in the back that why don't you have Matt knew it since he did a show for three years? Yeah, And and not only that you you always want to kind of do some stuff with the parade. A lot of people we always try find. We have a lot of different things going on during opening day, usually, and so nobody had asked you. I don't think and you kind of want it. And I was like, Hey, Matt, you know, thank you for that. Since then, I've been driving. Hopefully we're back at it next year. Yeah. You drive, Which would stay, Cem, don't be And I've done it. I've done it all. Yeah, you think Well, not this year than last year's, eh? Bien do wave do you do the way you should waive U. Yeah, Dynamo one year when we give two vans. Ah, take advance through the car wash before we went down because nobody did it not surprising. Not surprised over here. This is probably another year. Will you have Teddy get gas and the credit card didn't work. Now, let me let me explain that I've been on the receiving end of that, too, because you have to know the specific zip code. For a certain person that basically authorizes the card, which is not somebody in this building. And and so everybody knows that code. But then when you try to use the code, if you're not like in promotions or something, you have no idea what's going on, Cleo. Our buddy over BP is like Come back when the parade's over and pay me then And then unless his and then our promotions director than Emily? Yes, Yeah, yeah. I mean, usually people when they see the van and something like that happens, they're very forgiving. And we appreciate that. All right. We're going on a tangent. Yeah, Number three, right? Yes. In honor of Trevor Bauer if you had a pair of cleats Or you could promote a brand.

Great cause if he screws up, I'll be afforded somebody. You know, he doesn't seem like a very good dancer, but I would like to see him try. The beginning of soccer player. He might be great team. American forces our good Buddy Josh Gates been with us many times were very happy to have him once again of course, from the discovery channel on, of course, he has his great shows but right now he's doing double duty with Josh Gates tonight during the week and this is eleven o'clock. Every ninety got some great gas. He's has some great guests. He's got some more. We'll talk about that in a minute but I'm rick tittle Josh and that's a big difference between Rick Chump tell us a little bit more about Rick Chunk. First of all. Thanks for having me thrilled to be. Rick Chump is He's He's kind of a washed up puppet shark puppet with with attitude. You know I've been hosting a late night here for for shark week all shark week long So every night at eleven, they're Kinda give me the keys to the car to to take us into the eleven o'clock hour. So Rick Chop is Kinda, my He's kind of my slightly not appropriate sidekick. NAMED AFTER ME OF COURSE That's right. That's absolutely right. You Know Shark Week has always featured Bob the shark that's been like a big thing they've had for years, and so he's kind of like our take on Bob the shark with a little bit more. bleeping of vocabulary. On the first night on Sunday had among many of your guests you had Mike Tyson of course, Tyson versus Josh Rumble on the read. This is all zoom as we know and the days of Cova but I'm sure that Mike Tyson thing was exciting because. I've always found interview people who I thought were going to be. Loose cannons or wildcards they're usually you know pretty legit and there's been no problems. What was it like with Tyson? With you that that people are often not the way that you expect they're going to be you know that this week I've been really you know Lucky to interviews such an interesting variety of people I've talked to. Talk to Tyson Jeff Foxworthy. William Shatner. It's been a kind of a crazy week. So you know Tyson though is kind of kind of what I expect I. Mean He's not. He's he's a man of few words. You know he he's Kinda like. It kind of just does thing like I wanted to talk to him about sharks. You know because he he signed up for this thing and look he he he doesn't really need the money I mean it's not like. You know giving them a huge payday I. Don't think to do this. He genuinely is like shacks the same way like he's genuinely like kind of freaked out by sharks interested by them wanted to go cage diving with them but you sort of say to him like, okay. What what's the deal? Why? Why are you afraid of sharks and he's just kind of like sharks is scary. Shark sharks a dangerous you're like, okay. All Right Mike. But you know I mean he he was really laid back. He wanted to talk about his he has a podcast and he's a we'd company. Now we were talking a little bit about that Tyson ranch but you know he's is getting ready to fight again He's GonNa do an exhibition fight coming up here next. month. So kinda fascinating just that he's GonNa fight again you know so but you know he was he was cool and shack with a lot of fun. I mean which also I guess what you would expect checks a funny guy he was he was talking about him someone with sharks hilarious because he he shack like the big student, the world and he just terrified of sharks. Now he's in big I've stood next home. It's crazy. You know it's funny. You mentioned Shatner. And he was a little sleepy and he mentioned his books and his new album. Talk about his music career at all. You know a little bit. So shatner was one of the big surprises for me because I have heard people say a lot of different things about him over the years as a guest right? That like he can either be really generous and really fun or he can be Kinda difficult. Sometimes I mean. I'm sure it's trip anybody but like he was so nice to me, I'm a big trekkie. So like talking to him was a big deal for me we. Talked for almost an hour you know and he was just hanging out at his house and he was really really hospitable generous with his time and you know I was I actually brought up his music with him I mean he has to new album's coming out and autobiographical album and a blues album. He's put out I. Don't know how many albums over the years like cal or something. He's a new TV show that he's promoting the guys eighty nine years old. And actually looking at him talking about zoom. He's Sharpe's attack. He looks great. He's like you know like a lot of folks. He's Kinda lost some weight during the pandemics and working out doing stuff. He looks really good and I look at him and I go he looks sixty five. You know like the fact that he's eighty nine and he's still doing all this stuff is incredible. And foxworthy I'm sure he got a redneck joke right. Foxworthy also, his reputation is that he's the nicest guy in the world and boy was that true just the coolest Guy he's done a little bit stuff with sharks. He when she went cage diving a few years ago, sharks we were talking about that. He's got a new show that he's promoting as well but you.

TRAVEL INSURANCE, PROTECT your travel investment with aliens Visit A L L i n c travel insurance dot com So it's no secret that most of us have not been traveling in the last 34 months on one of the ways I know I have gotten those nomadic urges out is by watching TV. Add one of the best travel shows on TV, I think is Josh Gates. His expedition unknown. Well, I was lucky enough to sit down with Josh Gates and I did a little interview with him moves a couple of months ago. We've been waiting to play it, so let's do that right now. So Josh People probably know you from a number of different shows. But right now you have a terrific show on Discovery Channel. It's called Expedition Unknown. What? What gave you the idea for that show? Well, you know, I'd always been a wonder Luster. I was doing a lot of travel independently before I ever started working in TV. And then I used to host a show called Destination Truth, which was kind of a legend and mystery shown, But I had a really passion for history and archaeology went to school for archeology have a degree in archaeology. And everywhere we went, I would just meet these incredible archaeologists and scientists and historians that were working at ease at ease, You know, sensational sites. And I thought, Man one day I'm going to do a show where I go and featured the work that they're doing and try to, you know, walk alongside them for a few miles, and that's that's really what this show is. It's It's an opportunity to go around the world and investigate these. He's awesome stories from our past everything from you know pirate treasures and and legends to major archaeological excavations at really important historic sites and toe work with the people there on the front lines that are actually out there doing the work and anybody who's a history buff knows that history is not static. Our understanding of it is constantly shifting, thanks to new discoveries. Are there any topics that you've done in the last several seasons that you're hoping to revisit that you think things have changed so much that that they would be ripe for a revisit? There are a lot. I mean, we did a big two part special this year on ancient human ancestors. This's a field paleo anthropology and an archaeology that is exploding. I mean, we're learning about Not just making new fossil finds. But we're finding whole new species, you know, and and with the advent of of sort of at home DNA testing and all that one of the things that that scientists have also learned is that many of us carry what are known as Ghost lineages, which is fragments of ancient DNA from species. We haven't even found yet so Some of us contain code of, you know, not Neanderthal, not Denisova Nes were just discovered, but other species we've never even found. So I think that's an area that's ripe for form or discovery. And also, I love jungle overgrown, You know, Central South American stories. I love the Maya and and there's a lot of incredible new technology light are ah, laser scanning technology that's helping to find Ah lot of these ruins that have been shrouded by the jungle. So I think I think we're going to see a lot of really big discoveries in the next few years in those places as well. Right now you're on TV. So you have special access. You couldn't go to these digs. You can talk to the experts directly. We're talking two travelers in general, though, if somebody if you were telling a person had to have a really great adventure. It was history rich and archaeology, archaeology rich on their next vacation. Where would you send them? Well, I tell people first of all that adventures everywhere, you know, I mean, look at a map in your own state of state parks. You know what? What? What could be more adventurous than hiking and camping and getting in the back country. So adventure is is right there for the taking. But in terms of history often, people say, Oh, man, I want to have the kind of adventures you go on and go to these jungle ruins and this and that, And I always tell people you know, some of that stuff is so close by. Look at look at the Yucatan, right? You can. You can fly to Cancun fairly cheaply. Year round, right? Such a popular Lapsley breakdown, passion and all you got to do is get the Cancun get a car and then drive away from Cancun, You know, right into the interior there of the Yucatan and there is, you know some of the most sensational archaeological sites in the world. This is the cradle of Maya civilization. Places like Chichen Itza, Of course, but so many other smaller sites there as well. The pyramid at the Loom or Att, Koba or going all the way out to the western side of the Yucatan over to merit a really beautiful colonial city. So I tell people you know you, Khun, go and get off the grid in the jungles of the Yucatan. Um, and it's just a few hours away. You know you just it's it's a It's a quick flight. And so but I think one of the one of the challenges with doing that type of travel is understanding what you're seeing. So what would you recommend in terms of advanced prep? Because, you know, sometimes you were walking along among ruins, and you'll have no idea that that stone wall in front of you was once part of the only library for thousands of miles or whatever it is. I mean, look, I think that it pays to read before you go, right? We all know that so combination of, um, guidebooks, but so of course, of course on I know a couple great ones. Um, rumors, of course. And but But I would say also, you know, buying and investing in a really good history books Before you go. You know you can make such a difference, even a novel not not necessarily for there, but but I can remember so many times I remember I tried to read Moby Dick 1000 times and never kind of got through it. And then one summer I went and I was in Hawaii in the Pacific. And I just turned through it because I was there. You know, I was I was in the places in the novel and so getting that framework before you go. It just makes everything so much more vivid And also, you know, in certain places it does. It does help to have a local guide and to shine someone good. You sometimes have to do a little bit of work to make sure you get like a really good local guide. But that can also make all the difference because you just get you know much broader exposure to what you're looking at. Absolutely. We have been so lucky. Today. We've been talking with Josh Gates, the host of the Discovery Channel's expedition unknown. Thank you, Josh. Always a pleasure, Polly. So that was Josh Gates before we go to commercial. My guess is when Josh travels and he travels to some wacky places, you really should watch his show. He has travel insurance and we're recommending alley ants. Travel insurance because there in your corner when things go wrong when you lose your luggage when you miss a flight.

"My name is Never Emma concept designer in film forks on production such as Avatar and star Trek Piranha. Three D Recently Green Lantern Super AIDS and just wrapped up with Scott's previous talking to you from Scifi Talk. Today I've compiled a few interviews from the round tables of the last two comic cons I attended and I have. Josh Gates is the new season on the sci-fi Channel With as Investigative Program Destination Truth starting this July tent. You know they investigate. Paranormal legendary creatures and mythologies are all explored from all around the world. Let's go now to the roundtables with Josh Gates. Who ACTUALLY CORRECTS ME? On the right season they are beginning to shop. The very first part of season five any new places on the. Yeah you know we The show is really obviously travel show at art and so every year we traveled to new and hopefully places and this year we just got back from three months overseas so we spent a little time in Central America where Belise Guatemala Sweden We spent a few weeks in Kazakhstan. Which is a country that does get featured very often outside of Borat and Southeast Asia and a bit of time in in the islands of Fiji so a pretty diverse group locations. This season going to be a great great. I really dug the bill. The underwater goes on. That was like that took it to a whole new. It was. It was really great for us to you know we. We filmed in these islands and Micronesia truck. And there's just all these championships from the Second World Wars have settled down in this In the deep water there and to be able to go down there and penetrate those rats and dies in the shadow of you know this War is always it was Pretty intense stuff but it was. It was great to be able to. I'm happy with off. So he tells about how they're shooting schedule is set up inciting some great locations. From last season's we tend to film in three months blocks or blocks and We just three months overseas. And we'll be doing. Some episodes in the Pacific will be Guam and Micronesia so great islands there that don't featured. I think nearly enough have a lot of interesting history and so we'll be doing stuff there. We do a great overnight show. Anchor Watt in Cambodia which is largest religious building in the world and a place hasn't been filmed at night very often. So that's that's something really looking forward to Ten Days in Siberia So we go from hot to cold and and then we'll be going through North Africa down in East Africa and then a couple of episodes in Madagascar which another place that is. I think not you know featured enough on. Cd has an amazing biodiversity. So much great creatures. We're looking for paranormal episodes and always a lot of travel season ahead. Oh skadden I actually have a bit of a competition with the president of the channel who were always compared you know comparing our yearly mileage levels but he always always beats me out amazing perching out. Sometimes you know. They certainly with with the stories that we go after like Lake. Monsters are great examples. Some some towns where there's a sighting of a late creature they go onto it and go. This is an opportunity for us to get people here so you know occasionally you will find places that really latch onto the stories that we go after and try to use it as a promotional tool but I think you know for the most part you know we tend to try to seek out stories that are current that are in the news right now and they're not necessarily things like the Loch ness monster which should have long established thing so really. If something just happens we try to kind of jump on it right away and so often. We're sort of there before the publicity machine cranks out Trying TO GET PEOPLE OVER THERE. Somebody who's just think they heard that Kidney News played the shot a macabre in. I don't know where it was. It was just in the news of the day. I this kid shot a dog but No you don't think for us it's really about. It's about the different cultures that country. So we're always trying to go to new places got kind of hit list of you know wishlist place. We want to go on the show. We've we've managed to go to a lot of it. So hopefully in the next season will be able to take a few more of those off the list and looking for us. It's really about bringing our viewers to place. They have been doing before exposing them to interesting the stories but the culture of the country. So we've got lots of places left to go. He's busy in this lease Brazil. We went to Brazil In the beginning of second season briefly in Amazon with a with a story there Munaf Senate and in various tributaries the Amazon. But you know. Brazil is like A number of other big countries in the world. Where you you go there and you think I'm going to go to Brazil do Priscilla when you get there and you realize how big it is and that you're gonNA scratch service so hopefully we'll return to Brazil We did China last year China. And you realize it's hopeless like you never gonNa see all China too big so we would love to return there. It's obviously incredible place. You guys like the Indiana Jones. Investigators kind of our move and we try to I. I think that for us for these stories that we do whether it's a creature story or paranormal story. We really try to do them in places where the actual location is as much of a character is anything else in it you know. We want our viewers really brought in by the culture that we're going to so we we try to choose their locations carefully to places that are themselves really dynamic and an interesting and he describes shooting very key episode last year in. Tibet. That really was our white whale. You know we. We had that on the list forever. We it's so difficult to not just to travel there to bring television show. There is so hard the little things cowering equipment and all that stuff is no infrastructure. Down there you know at all so it was something we talked about doing from the very beginning of the show and it was. It was a long time coming in as that we were able to pull it off and you know but we still have that list of other places. WanNa try to go to you know. There are some amazing parts of the world that have been off limits to this amazing sponsors central northern Africa. That really dangerous that we'd love to go to with mixed to to bat. I would love to do that on the show. Some other spots in the Himalayas. There are plenty of spots not at the bottom of the world that are still very challenging to get to and difficult to get access so we still got lots of challenges. He wants wondered if they would ever run out of story. It's a lot of travel right. We spent about half a year overseas. I think we first started the show. We had this fear that we would run out of things to look for. You know and certainly I do think there is a finite amount of things that people are en masse reporting seeing right. It's not every day. Some one hundred people see a lake monster or something but we've really discovered as we've traveled every we go to a country to a story. We'll hear five other stories while we're there. You know that there are these really great kind of unsolved unknown mysteries around the world and now feels like we could. We could really do it for a long time As long as we can keep on keeping want to get on a plane every every year but I think right now we all still see it as it's a real privilege and it's really fun to get paid to travel for me and I can't think of a better job to have ever tried to a couple episodes of the states. This cycle didn't season five point. Oh that we just found but I'm sure that in In the back half season you might. There are a number of big stories here. We've never never done a bigfoot story in US southeast sort of King of King of the did so Yeah we like to stuff here. In the states to trying to find a way to show aspects of culture that are a little off to be passed so It's a pope. Who will come back and do some feature his. We've legend Westwood sexually similar some of the stuff as you're like Vincent inside both titles you have your established stairs kind of you know. Kinda give you some wiggle. Yeah look I think that's actually seen a note from your the other week and I was overseas which I haven't seen it yet but I think that there's a real total difference in the shows. You know what I mean. It and is obviously a symbol expert in his areas of expertise are different. Take one of the things that we really tried to make a core part of density. Truth is the comedy misadventure. You know this sort of you know what it takes to get there. And all the sort of hijacks that go along with that because that's a big part of travel and and so You know I think there's a real difference in the tonality of the two shows in terms of the subject matter. I'm sure there'll be a few areas where crosses over but it was a lot of stories out there a Lotta legends myths. So I think it should burn forever. Yeah I would say that the worst wars that we've had is. We lost our first story and season four in India. We India is a place. That's a real natural fit with a show. It's an amazing vibrant culture. It's difficult to travel around India. So it's great for us because you can you know a lot of misadventure to travelling and it's a very bureaucratic place. It's it's a tough place to permit and we had. We were along the path trying to permit a trip to India and it fell through the do it. So it's probably our most difficult challenges. We are able to get ourselves really in there with the shank. The other troubles happened kind of at the tribal level. You know you get in these very small small cultures where you know. There's the cheap and you kind of have to kiss his ring and go through a lot of you know. Local sort of ceremony stopping and that requires a lot of delicate negotiations. The book is coming out in the in the fall. September October. But it's done. I'm happy to say it's You know I finished it and And I'm really looking forward to coming out. It was a lot of work. There's there's gather is a bit of it in there. It's not primarily a photo book. It's mostly about the show and there. There are some photos in there and I'm really proud of it. I've never written anything like that before and I chose to do it. Maybe foolishly without a ghost rider or that an assistant. I wanted to really do it myself. And and dig into it so that was probably a mistake Only because it took me a lot longer than I than I think it would. If I'd had help lead in the end I can really say that he did it myself. And so Helping it. I'm a big Fan of Southeast Asia. I Love Thailand and Cambodia Vietnam Laos that whole region I love and so we were able to spend a couple of weeks in Vietnam this last season. Just something about that whole region is just so attractive to me. The people are so wonderful part of the world and the cultures are really vibrant. And I think if I cash out and just Spanish one day that's where you can look for me as Post beach somewhere in Thailand proudly. Yeah we tend to work with call fixer or a of of producer each country who helps achieve things at a local level language barriers. And things like that. So we meet all these really interesting producers in various parts of the world. We maintain really strong relationships with them. We've got a great producer in the Amazon. You know great friends in Egypt. All over the world and At a local level to also fascinating people sometimes very out of the way places and trade emails and you get into these long sort of pen pal relationships folks across the world so yeah hi. I'm George Decay and I listened to Sifi Talk..

"For that and Welcome back to the show Rick Tiller with you. Coast to coast border to border around the world on the American forces versus Radio Network Tomorrow the parade will be in Kansas City and our friend the notorious. Jt Grace Tyrrell will let join us from the parade Once again today though at eleven forty Pacific all Hob Josh Gates on my show again And he's with the expedition. The Unknown Destination Unknown Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby. Soho never that rancid band at Albany California on you all right There there's a lot to get to when is they're not but I. I'm always whenever my team is involved in a rumor. That always makes me perk up and go who why what happened and you know on Super Bowl Sunday. It was like the raiders are trying to get Tom Brady. Let me just tell you something. You probably have experienced this with your team as well if you're not a raider fan one of the other thirty one teams and that is your team is rumored to be this or that. The raiders. Peter is my whole life. have been rumored when there's a narrative well when there's somebody who's just out of prison or somebody who get something nefarious or somebody who just got got kicked off his team from being a knucklehead and not showing up to practice and swearing at the coach. Oh that guy's a raider. It gets a little tired. It gets a little old but now with some question marks about whether Derek Carr is the guy going forward forward and there are I think people say well. There's been question marks for years. Not Another has there might be one now. Even if they stayed in Oakland there might be one. But that's the other thing they're going to be the new Vegas. That's a video game Las Vegas and they good video game by the way fallout world but says do but now they need to make a splash. That's always the thing about the new team especially in Sin City. Then he didn't make a splash. Go through Tom Brady okay. So that was a couple of days ago now. The rumor I see this morning by Tom. For Nellie who is a very opinionated football writer as I would be too Is that the raiders are going to make a trade with Detroit up to number three and take to a tag of a low of interesting and For Nellie says Oakland Trade Twelve and nineteen to move to three plus eight twenty twenty one on second round pick. That's a lot to give up to top twenty picks and to the next year And I do not think that's going to happen. I I just don't now to the tag of a low of by the way has is not repeat not got a one hundred percent clean bill bill of healthy. And that's because it's only been a few months since he's been out but most doctors doctors are very optimistic. And I just don't think that the raiders. When you think about other quarterbacks who will be there at that time like Jordan Jordan love I believe will be there at twelve jake? FRAHM will be there at twelve. I don't think Matt Herbert's GonNa be I should say Justin Herbert's GonNa be there anymore at twelve but I don't see them giving up two first round picks when they can really make a splash in this draft and the way they make a splash in this drought getting to excellent players. Now they had three first round picks last year one of them only played a game and didn't even finish. I at first game. That's the free safety and Jonathan Abram and that came from the Amari Cooper pick another one Cleveland Farrell. Play the whole year. And did it mostly anonymously which is not to say. He didn't have a few moments but he didn't look like the number. Four overall pick their best pick was the only running back in the first round. That's Josh Jacobs who a lot of people think. Got jobbed out of the offensive rookie of the year. which went to Cuyler Murray? That didn't kill me. I wish Josh unwanted but you know missing those three games at the end of the year while Collar Murray is playing Ryan runaround putting up numbers you know not amazing numbers but putting up numbers and I can see why he got the love. I do think I could be wrong but I do think of Josh. Jacobs had stayed healthy and played in those extra three games and then added and then he had like fourteen hundred yards instead of a thousand yards. Then I think voters would have had no choice. But I digress. The raiders move up to three to take to tag of a lower. Now what would that mean for the lions. Then if you're listening on your a Detroit Fan. Those marks have the Lions at twelve taking Christian Fulton the corner at Lsu do and then at Nineteen that they would get jerry. Judy here's the thing for the raiders. Derek Carr is still a serviceable double quarterback. He's under contract and there would be a big cap. Hit to get rid of him so I just I mean I guess you can trade them and see see what happens there but I think if you asked the two franchises and you said to the Lions would you rather have you know Okuda the corner for which they are Supposed to take and by the way he has Okuda going then five to Miami. I don't think there's any way Miami doesn't take a quarterback if it's too or Herbert. That's the choice for Miami because burroughs one to the kitties Queen City kitties. I call them no one else. Does I just coin out and then Okuda five the corner of Ohio state to Miami and then six herber to the chargers and that's the thing to the chargers if Herbert's there at six I think that's a done deal now people say Justin. Herbert is this year's Josh Allen. And I disagree. I think Herbert is better than Josh. Allen and Josh Allen has a great arm there's no doubt But Herbert is bigger kid who played in a higher division higher conference anyway of football and I think he's a little a bit smarter. That's just me and I have a great senior year but I think he's I think he's a little bit smarter. I still think that there's a little air in between the ears of Josh. No offense you call me dumb. How can I take offense to that? So this is the draft where one two are set. Now the Redskins will take a call and I would trade twelve in nineteen to get chased. Young which I know is a little crazy because the raiders need to help but if chase young is Nick Bozo wouldn't you trade twelve nineteen to get Nick Bosa. I think he would. And everyone says is that chase young is just as good as Nick Bosa. So I don't know if that's true. Maybe he's better. Maybe he's worse but I would trade twelve and nineteen to get nick both Sir I would give the niners twelve nineteen right now to get Nick Bosa if you think about that nine or defense and yeah. They gave Quanta Alexander a lot of money and they made a trade for D.. Ford but Nick Bozo was the real impetus behind Robert Sala bean guy that everybody wanted fired hired to be in a guy who almost was head coach of the Cleveland Browns. Now so as I said everybody's on the clock and I bring this up because my team in a rumor boomer do I like to. I like him very much. I really like to attack alot. I do but who would I rather have between he and Herbert. That's a great question because to a tag of aloha reminds me a little bit of Marcus. Mariota Marcus Marcus. Mariota got beat up by Ryan Tannehill. Marcus Mariota doesn't have a job right now outside of a backup quarterback chop so herbert to me gene seems like a more agile version of Daniel Jones. Six foot six. So if the raiders did not have Derek Carr might be a little more believing of this. But I think it would be stupid to draft a backup quarterback UNLESS THEY WANNA make the starter which would also be dumb to make him a starter her when they don't need to so rumors are flying. We'll take a little break here and we'll come back new little salmon seen the second sir mm-hmm At.

"Want to put the smart in your smart, speaker, kiss asked me to play this artist station. I know whatever I told her she plays whatever I want fifty KFYI on iheartradio. James t Harris divvy up on Twitter at Leela show. You're like me you love. I love travel shows. I love travel shows that combined travel and life. And some of my favorites have been on the travel channel. I love expedition unknown with Josh gates and another one that I always loved was boost traveler, one because the host is terrific. He's funny and a combined kind of like real life, stuff with some of the destinations in places that we all want to go to which Jack Maxwell has a brand new project out, and it's very personal to his story. And if you've ever had a family member that is fought cancer. It'll be personal to you too. I want to welcome to the program. Jack Jack Maxwell. Former host of booze traveler, now, the host of a new show that is about to come out called the high road, Jack. How are you man's going to talk to you in how you doing man to be here? I'll tell you what I'm excited about your new project, because it combines again travel, which is something that I'm super stoked about. But also, you know, there's kind of a movement in America right now with regards to marijuana is especially medical marijuana. We may not see it. Federally legalized anytime soon for recreational. But I think it's just the, the writing is on the wall for medical marijuana. But let me start with this. How did you get tuned into this project, and tell me a little of your personal story and why you're passionate about it? I used to host who's travel for travel channel. And then I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma that sent me into chemo, not right away, though. I fought it off for a while. And then it included the point where my college said, you gotta do something about it the chemo. And then we no longer dimples traveler, and I and I know I, I would love to eat for me because I would really great Pavin show who four years. I got good calf. I handled it in the most positive way I could. And I very fortunate. I didn't move my hair. I didn't get sick to the point of throwing up like they said, I might, but I couldn't sleep at my was the only issue because became old treatments were causing these blinding white flashy, lightning blue light white light flashing in my eyes at night. I couldn't sleep somebody recommended CBD oil. I tried it. It works not really knowing exactly all the components. Now, Robin what on of candidates was, I knew that if it weren't gonna be good. For me that propelled me on this story and the show is now called, of course, the high road as you pointed out, this story is there are so many people out there. Who although reluctant at first I'm sure many were a benefiting from the use of medical marijuana, cannabis TVD. And of course, we've had with very owed a very dark history about that because we were missing form. We'll lied to about what it wasn't. I don't use one. I did not before this show and I use CB now on the show, we tried different things. But I knew that if this thing so-called drugs was so miss identified and, and a mistaken was, I know the people out there who felt the same way that they will marginalize because maybe they, they used it or they needed. They wanted. And now we're finally starting to realize how much it could how much good it can do for people. And of course, we're putting that into a show and showing everybody do you, do you use CBD with. H c or do you use CBD like from him because you can do both which one which one did you gravitate to exactly right? It's funny. You say that because I because I was not someone who consume marijuana. I said, well, let me try TD, it's not as, as some people know, of breaks down, or to different plants hemp, and what they labeled marijuana marijuana has over point three percent THC, which makes it psychoactive employee has TVD and less than point three percent. So it's not psychoactive of THC, but it works on the body and its anti-inflammatory and helpful glaucoma, and headaches and pain, all these other sleeplessness nausea, all these other things. So that's the one I tried it for us. And then, of course, now I'm open to other things based on what I understand about your reason I didn't do it. I was told it was such a horrible thing. Right. I'm not here to say the greatest thing in the world and everybody should use marijuana, but four when you need it for all these reasons that at this point anecdotal, we can make any claims about it. But so many people getting benefits from this, so many inspirational stories, and I go on the road buying these stories and tell them. Well, and I think it's silly that we've put so many people in prison for nonviolent crimes centering around. You know, there was a guy in Illinois. The other day that was sentenced to four years in jail. He has stage four cancer, and he was trying to self medicate. He ordered a bunch of proun- from California. They put him in jail, despite the fact that the state just legalized marijuana for medical purposes. It's just that he bought this stuff before the legalisation took place, it's just it's asinine. And I think projects like yours are sorting sort of helping helping to open people's minds to that disinflation that we got that you mention it, what your your, your show you travel around. I know you spend some time at Arizona talking to a lot of the folks here that are involved what did what did. You learn in Arizona. You know, it's funny because I, I've been in California since nineteen ninety six and then November twenty seventeen I came to Arizona, which is where I have now to undergo treatment, I have family here in frontier I went to high school gear. And I thought I'd go to a place where I could heal from this because Kansas, no joke in chemo is certainly no day at the beach. I wanted to make sure I was ready physically mentally spiritually. And I was around people I loved it wanted to be around not that I didn't have that Nellie, but families different. So I figured I'd come here and do that. So that's what bribe in Arizona, and we started the journey right here. We start with a doctor who tells me, you know, listen, here's the deal you should be open to medical marijuana, even though you you're not using it, and told me some of the benefits they're off. So we started in here then we went up to Sedona, and we found a natural healer native American gentlemen, who. Is so spiritual and healing just being around. And you feel like you getting better in so many ways you getting enlighten. And I tried an edible time with him, although he doesn't incorporate that into his is practices really what I did, because it was part of the whole thing should donors, such a peaceful one, energetic place. This is where we started journey. And then, of course, I find out about different people in different places like Al Harrington play fifteen years in the NBA, his grandmother couldn't read the bible. And he finally talked her into try and someone who was with Denver in the NBA, because she came to visit in Colorado, as you know, was was legalized. Or legalize it. And so she tried it, and it opened at first, she said, Molly smoking, no report. She thinks it's no Graham. There's different ways to do it, and it worked, and she cried arise out, knowing she deprive yourself for all these years, because of what she was told. He has a brand now named after his grandmother. So there's people like that. And Colorado Shinde show vine who's a lobbyist used to work from big pharma realize what it was doing to people, and now lobby for medicinal cannabis and is making so many great inroads in Colorado with the hockey as well. We'll let you and then other parts of California and begged. It's just been a wonderful Trump. I'm learning so much. And I hope people will too, and they watch the I can't I can't wait for people to see it. Unfortunately, I've got to run. But real quick is tell people where they can see the trailer for this and find out more about when it's coming out. Sure. Thanks. You could follow me on social media, Instagram and Twitter at Southie Jack. S. O. U. T. H. I E. J A. C K. That's my neighborhood in Boston where I grew up and. We'll keep you posted awesome.
