"They've been like elite and you know what I mean, say Quan Barkley and Zeke Elliott and Christian McCaffrey. Those guys were special, at least had special college careers, but you know, back in the day you see running backs go all the time. Oh, my God. Blair Thomas second role. John Carter, right. It's because that's what the game dictated. I need someone who I could turn around and hand the ball to 30 times and maybe 35 times in the game, and he's not gonna burn. Down over the course of 16 weeks or 17 weeks. Now it's gonna be 18 weeks because the 17 games but ultimately like we almost have gotten so hyper focused on the quarterback that we're forgetting. Sometimes you gotta you gotta just go core. You know what I mean? You get let's obsess about the quarterback. But the reality is you gotta go core and I'll give you an example. Interestingly, these air all about Tom Brady led teams, but it is what it is. And I guess that I guess that's that's a mitigating factor here. The three of the last five Super Bowls Winners have drafted an offense of lineman in the first or second round, and Tony was one with the Pats works. We have worse last year with the Buccaneers, and then I'm forgetting the other. What the path as well as a Wilson. I'm not Wilson. I forget his name now, but they drafted a tackle in the first round the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a win. They drafted the first round in 2018 Ondas because we need to protect that asset that we already have. So if you can't do that, then it doesn't matter who's at quarterback. It's why I think a lot of these offensive lineman That was just alluding to Bt are going to be our valued, but they're going to get there gonna get drafted lower than they should. Because we're obsessed about the guys that protecting as opposed to being accepts about the guys that are doing the protecting, Which is why you very well might see some really good teams get a lot better because if they don't need the quarterback, they can slide back a few spots and get yes. You know, the aforementioned position that you just targeted So let me hit you with this. I think this really interesting you talk about the and we talk about the urgency, the incessant the incessant need the clamoring and don't think for a second jams. Don't hear that G And I'm not saying that they all react to the noise outside the building. But when your job security or your team eyes is debated, or and or ripped apart, you know endlessly. That's why I use the word incessantly on social media. Your Unless you're inhuman, you're gonna penetrate your psyche on some level. I'm not saying that it necessarily controls what you do, but I do think in certain circumstances it could now In the 2000 steep. We've had 60 quarterbacks taken in the first round. All right, 60. Now I understand the game's very different the finances of very different, all right. And really, the draft has become very different. But you just think about what you just said it Z 20 years. I mean, 20 draft 60 quarterbacks first round. Yeah, There's not that many positions available unless people are missing, you know, And I think that's what you're getting at as well. That is one for sure. And and we've gone overboard now. You don't really know what this is going to spit back. I mean, you could get lucky. On Aaron Rodgers could land in your wrap it lap, But he can win your multiple MVPs. And and at least one Lombardi so far where Mahomes can win in N V. P at a championship so far, or big band can deliver a couple. Eli could deliver two or statistically guy like Rivers and Matt Ryan. Can, you know? Keep your franchise relevant for a long time even can get into the Super Bowl and winning the M V P On Bruno's What? What happened with lucky He doesn't retire. But again those air about nine names are ripped through off the 60 and we all know. Hey, JaMarcus Russell. That's the low hanging fruit, right? Paxton Lynch, who we reference quite a bit. Brady Quinn, Jake Locker man. Zell Rosen Haskins Not fully written yet, but you know, already on the second team Tebow EJ manual Weeden minor ha under JP Lastman. Patrick Ramsey was a less picked by the road by Washington years ago. Gabbert Boulder, who was horrendous from cow Joey Harrington, who was a stiff from Oregon. Josh Freeman, who let the world on fire and then I guess you let too many things up, but he was out. He's gone. Sanchez, Mommy, Mark Sanchez. So this century, there has been some real bull's eyes. But obviously I just ripped through about 20 names. And by the way, I could have had a 10 more. Yeah, but I didn't for timing purposes. You roll the dice. And at that point, you still probably not gonna get lucky. Really is what it comes down to. It does come down to that, and it's you know, I almost feel for General managers and teams because we like we hope, which we hold themselves accountable. But we also forget that they're human and have emotions and get infatuated. And, you know, do unreasonable things that time that in retrospect. Like, what the hell you thinking? But in real time, you know it felt absolutely right for them. I think part of the reason we weigh malign them because they never seem willing to admit that they made mistakes. You know what I mean? It's almost like they never want to own up to it on. I know we'll get to this a little bit later with the Green Bay Packers because their general manager Brian got curses saying that Aaron Rodgers is because I'm guy going forward. Well, you just drive to the quarterback in the first round, so something doesn't align here. You know what I mean? And so, but they haven't said that they made a mistake and they never will say that they make a mistake. But That's just a small example of I think what's typical in the NFL? These guys are, don't say they're They're, uh, obviously they're qualified right? But they're also just taken shots and sometimes reaching on potential simply because it feels like that's that's what's gonna work out. And then sometimes it never does. Let me ask you this. I'm really interested to see how you shape this. We've heard this so many times, you and I have discussed it. A lot, you know, Possibly well, I say, possibly for some guys who were still playing now, but certainly definitively and in other situations in years past the right quarterback in the wrong situation, Ryan Tannehill's one, All right, maybe Donald's, too. We'll see. And there's ah lot of others that obviously apply that arrive. They're still playing or fuck him up a long time ago. Do you believe in me? Just let me just take the just think the Jaguars had a lot more talent than the Jets. So let me take the Jets from a year ago. If you put Patrick Mahomes okay on the Jets. What would the Jets have been? Um, that's it's a good question. I don't think they would have been his bad as they were. They weren't winning a championship. But I do think that they are a playoff team and may playoff team. I really do. But I don't see that because here's what Here's What happens. Here's what Pat Mahomes does like. He makes Like, OK, players really good. And I give you the person we walking is the perfect example. They Sammy Watkins had a lot of hype coming into the league of First round draft pick for rough Goes the Buffalo. Right, man, this guy things guys should be great kind of crashed out. No, he didn't fulfill his draft. It was like, maybe you were overrated on and he was hurt a lot, too, to be fair, Whatever, but it felt like he was definitely overrated. He wasn't living up to the potential. But then it goes to Kansas City. And all of a sudden, he's like an integral part of what they're doing, and he's making great plays, and he's an impact wide receiver. And it's because a guy like Pat Mahomes, by the way, this could also have been Alex Smith. Lift good quarterbacks like this..

Patrick Mahomes Matt Ryan Alex Smith Ryan Tannehill Aaron Rodgers Gabbert Boulder Josh Freeman Patrick Ramsey JaMarcus Russell Zeke Elliott Tom Brady Christian McCaffrey Mark Sanchez Brady Quinn Pat Mahomes Tony Quan Barkley John Carter 35 times Joey Harrington

"Of I specifically remember I was working in Ruby Tuesday had just moved to Tampa when we found out that Jon Gruden was going to be fired by the Bucks, and then that began A A syriza of coaches in a series of choices and pretty much a phase of Tampa Bay Buccaneer history. That was terrible. It started with Raheem Morris. We had the Greg Xiang knows we had the Lovey Smith. We had the dirt cutters, the Josh Freeman's The Mike Glennon, the Jamis Winston. It's been a rough, rough rough decade. For the Bucks, and I'll beat it comes at the hand of the go. I am very happy for this city and for the buck fan, and, um, you know, out there who have been waiting for a glimmer of hope for a long time for those of you. Who have been Buccaneers fans since the 19 seventies. Congratulations. You deserve this. More than anybody. I know in the market. I was not Initially a buck's fan when we moved to Florida and 78 I started trying to root for the bucks, and it did not take because they were not good. Doug Williams was their quarterback. Ricky Bell was the back and I remember rooting for the Patriots, but being like, you know, I'm here in town. I might as well pull for the bucks. Well, it didn't take and then in recent years, it didn't take because As much of a fan I am of Tom Brady. Well, I'd say diminished by that by 50%. And that's the amount of disregard that I have for James Winston as a quarterback, and it was really tough, if not impossible. To root for that team with him under center. Those of you who did those of you who stuck it out. Hey, Congrats. You. You earned this. And and I'm so happy that now this city in this area Gets to see the goat the greatest of all time, not just in football, but in any sport. He in my opinion with what he did had Michael Jordan Onto the NBA title with Washington Wizards when he came back, all fat and lazy, Uh, that might be a different story. What Tom Brady has done in my opinion, goat. All sports. It's interesting because in this world of sports that we live in now it's all about the hot take. And it's all about, you know, debating like in basketball. People love to talk about the LeBron Jordan comparison. It's an interesting dynamic now with Brady because You can try and you can have some fun with debating anybody. But the argument is over. I mean this guy now being able to leave his team where he's made his legacy. And in the first year make it to the Super Bowl in in a new team with a new team that hasn't been there and so long like you, just it's undeniable what this guy can do, and it's more Seemingly a lot more than what he actually even does on the field. Incredible. He leads he inspires. He plays with so much fiery passion. And at the same time manages to be one of the best looking man on the planet. Let let's not forget that this is unbelievable. What a great day for Tampa Bay. We'll talk to Mayor Jane Castor of the city of Tampa. To talk about stuff related to Champa Bai. I mean, just look and you can't credit all Tom Brady because the lightning, I guess did their part and so did the Rays of getting to their championships. But Tom deserves most of the credit for them getting there in the first place. Yeah, it's tough, because I mean watching these gay the one last night. Where were the defense was huge, and the defense stepped up when the offense wasn't so it's hard to say that's on Tom Brady. But but I also believe that he instilled something. In this team. And when you've got somebody like that, that you know has been there so often and knows the path so well. I think it changes the entire dynamic of your locker room and you can do things and you start thinking of things as true realities rather than just hopes and dreams. When Bill Belichick and Tom Brady won so many Super Bowls together, six of them which is unprecedented. I mean, my God, man. They? They likely credited Belichick with most of that, and I'm not here to say that they were wrong. The man is a master mind when it comes to devising plays. On the football field. But look what Tom Brady did with this team this year, coming here to lead his team to the Super Bowl. It was a perfect this season. Hell, no. Is he perfect last night? Hell, no man, scary at times, but him going back to Chris Godwin after Godwin had a drop for a 50 plus yard completion. And him going from Oh, my jackets on time to go into halftime with a pint to Hey, Tom, Get that jacket off. Go in there and throw a bomb to Scotty Miller, who's going to get behind that King Dude who got roasted many times yesterday. What? What a game. What a moment and we're here to soak in it with you. I said it last night on Twitter, and I meant it from a not counting wrestling because people wanted to poke the semi. That was the greatest sports moment I've ever been a part of having having spent the early portion of my life watching the Lions. I've been in Florida now for 15 years and Megabucks fan for all of them like that was I've never really rooted truly for a winning team outside of the lightning over the past couple years and Toby with a team and see the ups and downs and have it play out like that, and it's gonna all end here in Tampa for the Super Bowl. It's It's it's It's unbelievable. It really doesn't quite feel real yet. No, it really doesn't. I think it will feel real when we see a lot of very socially distanced safe Super Bowl parties happening next. Oh, man, I'm trying not to let that bother me. But that does that does suck like if we were in the real world in the normal world here on we were in and things could be like they were It would be even cooler. But maybe if things were like they were another team would have won the NFC. Maybe, but I doubt it now with Tom Radio Center. The video of him and grant reliving their their bad boy for life strut. And a lot of other stuff that we noticed last night that will talk about throughout the show. By the way, his name is John sending I'm drug Robbo and together we're John Andrew. In the afternoons, a k a drug robb alive And we'd love to hear from you today at 7 to 75791025. I'd venture a guess to say. You might be is scatterbrain and just Running on fumes like we are. I was asleep by 8 45 last night. I just It took so much out of me watching that game. I did not sleep well Friday night in preparation for it. And Saturday I was out of town and got to get up and drive across the state early in the morning. So by the time the game was over, I was right there with you. I wanted to know who was gonna win. But after a little bit of drama early on it, it appeared as if the Chiefs were headed. So I was in the same boat. It was a very I would call it a twilight condition that I was in during that game with in and out of consciousness for sure. And eventually, I'm like, Do I really need to find out if the bills or Chiefs win that battle? No, I'm gonna go to sleep. I woke about 2 30 couldn't get back to global live. Hi. Who.

"Never publicly the media gave him every opportunity to do it. He never did never said a word. Yeah, it's a weird, thank you, I. Just don't trust them. It'll be flat out on the. Do not trust them, and that's a shame. It's one of the reasons why we started all this podcast. Four of it raises very small reason, but you know it's just. It's like We see stuff that happens. That is the exact opposite of what the media is trying to tell us, and so we thought hey, we want to give voice to our side of it too so. It's all about the fans. It's all about a fans. One hundred percent. The fans are what matters but out the fans there would be no football and we are the most important thing about football media likes to that they are the most important thing about football, but they're not in any way shape or form. It's a matter of fact you totally get rid of all of them and it wouldn't. It wouldn't affect football whatsoever. They are a middleman between us and the fans. Sometimes. That doesn't need to be there so here we are. We are a fan. podcast made for fans by fans about, fans. But In which we got a fan email from down under worm, women, roar, and the men thunder. You got that Handy Oh yeah okay Simen. Simon so last time we talked about Simon from Australian, and he's sent us his game experience. which if you WANNA share your game experience, please. Do you can reach us on facebook? Twitter email anything how you became a fan. I always liked those two and a fan of the buccaneers. Yeah, so I'll just read the email. Firstly. Enough to married someone who allowed me to incorporate attending a bucks game as part of our honeymoon, so there's more than one of us in the world guys. Much to her dismay at the time once the schedule came out with consecutive home, games finished the. The season this very quickly became attending two games. And why not? Why wouldn't you simply walking toward the stadium? Before the Texans game and seeing the number of people wearing bucks colors was unusual. I've only ever seen one human in person at home on in Australia sporting such merchandise when I asked him about his hat, he clearly didn't know what the NFL even was just looked cool. Funny how he said I've only seen one human. Has Seen like dogs or Kangaroos with book? Maybe they do, but he has an encounter. which this is funny because we live in Redskins, country and it's kind of a similar situation I remember the first game that I went to, and it was bizarre is being surrounded by box fans and it never happened before. It's a great feeling if you've never done it as a bucks fan, which we realized that most fans haven't done it, you know you don't get a lot of. There's more buck fans that live outside Tampa area than there are. People that are bucks fans in the area. I mean there's millions of buccaneer fans across the world I. Don't get the opportunity to go see buccaneers game. If you ever do, do it because it's awesome you. It's a weird feeling being around about. Fifty sixty thousand people who all like the buccaneers. So Awesome Simon continues. The Fan sitting nearest were all very friendly and invited us to their tailgate. The following week after had mentioned, we were also attending the Falcons game as they'd made the why slash Mrs. which I've heard term. You prefer to use feel welcome. She was cool with the idea, and if anything encouraged it, so we met up at eight am. Where I was greeted with the first of many bourbons. They've remembered I. Don't drink beer as they proceeded to prepare some of the best food. Food we'd eaten during our three weeks in the country are seats for elsewhere for this game, but we up with the people afterwards as we had enough time to before we leave for the NHL that night, I think my better half forgot. We also have the hockey game that same day Simon. You can throw down buddy starting Bourbon at eight am making it through an NFL game, and then heading to a hockey game like you can hang I think I would have been asleep in my car. Whilst both gains and losses, the fact they were closed, and predominantly one score margins for their duration meant they were exciting to watch. The game seem over much quicker as opposed to watching them on TV, but that could also be due to the time. They are on and Australia. A ONE PM kickoff is at two thirty am or four thirty am once. Daylight savings kicks in on Monday morning. That's crazy to me they. Yeah the Games! With James I. DO regret that we didn't get to a game last season because they were so exciting very very entertaining as you can say about James Entertaining, yeah and At the two games that we went to. The court was it Josh Freeman both gains the first game we saw was the redskins. Not a clue remember either. But they were losses and not exciting, so so yeah, we love to hear these kinds of things from fan so again. If you guys have, you're GONNA. Share your experience or how you became a fan will read it on the podcast and thanks to Simon for taking the time to write that all out. It was a I love that. The bucks fans embraced. Sam brought them to their tailgate. Brian some libation, exactly so hospitable. It's awesome. That's one of the things about football and sports in general. You always bring this up. You know it's very unifying. Sports are very very unifying and man we. We definitely need sports back I. Agree. I agree it is, it's the great unifier you know and especially football you get people from all different backgrounds and belief systems, and it's the world all over the world, and yet come together for this common cause..

"Josh freeman <hes> uh-huh that was a big deal literal yes and the same with the jaguars didn't he isn't it but roberts quit. Robert quincy agent came out with a statement. I remember reading this when i came out that robert quinn has a seizure a history if seizures which how you can have a history of seizures on playing that i felt i don't really understand but modern medicine that i'm not a doctor so but his agent said that his prescription medication to control his seizures was cross contaminated at the pharmacy with a medication called probenecid which is a medication for gal that was also used as a masking agent in the eighty s and ninety s for steroids so that's why it's legal in the n._f._l. And why he got suspended rubber quinn's surprise the mess out of me. He was so good as first years at the rams. I mean just lights lights out awesome in he's just disappeared. I forgot that he was even with the rams just now. He said that he record sex. After sex unblock got aaron donald kind of our shannon but he just stopped playing well. "Now is the time to get you don't have to have your back up against the wall later, get your suit now from Indochino, it's incredible deal. Once you go custom you don't go back. We're going to play the interview from Tuesday at the Super Bowl with interrupt for its us guessing the coaches going forward. So we want this on the record. What chance coaches will get hired. Maybe Jeff Fisher was lost in their fifty percent. He actually listen to find out. All right. We're gonna finish up with this. I have three coaches I wanna ask if they will get another head coaching job in the NFL. Jeff fisher. Nope. No chance. No, put percentage. So that there's at least a chance got zero. Tim. It's Rex Ryan. Probably not zero because he really was a pretty good more than decent. Coach out say like ten percent. I think he tried to get in this year's defense coordinator, and Jim Thome Soula. I would say two percent. Okay. My hope. Okay. He's on his staff that person gets fired. He takes over his interim because he's done. It leads him on a dramatic something up. And and he is a charismatic, man. Yeah. See it. Yeah. So maybe I'd say seven percent, I got one more Greg Shanna. Good question is a good question. Yeah. I would say like twenty percent. Oh, I'm probably in idiot for a lot of reasons. But I think he was I think he would be a good coach. He got screwed by the Josh Freeman situation. Yup. I five years ago or six years ago whenever that was I still think he would do a good job. So maybe if he's patriots physical near this year last one, Hugh Jackson. Three percent. Okay. Jess Jackson back in my life. There's some jokes. Some unfinished business. I yeah. I we said some really mean things about them. But yeah. Could about players and he's still. Yeah. That's true. That's that's good point. All right. Thank you so much. We appreciate it. Okay. Last one up Ocho Cinco. He came in. And let's just say it was insane. Because he told a story about a threesome. "She had a couple of good starts with the colts in twenty eleven you sign with the bucks in two thousand twelve and this I'm sort of fascinated by because I probably should but the the intricacies of NFL contracts are still. I'm still somewhat learning. The buck sign you to a two year contract in March the next year, they cut you. But then four days later, they resigned, you is that essentially them saying we don't want you at the price that we have you on. We're gonna cut you which formerly ends the contract. But we don't believe that you have a lot of other options and that you'll come back to us for less Modell. Yeah. I remember because you know, the first year I was with them. It was just being Josh Freeman as a quarterback. And Josh was coming off, you know, solid years and the first year that we were together like had a really good stretch of good ball. But he's that's when he started to have some off the field issues Josh had some team and he fought off the field. And so they had kind of expressed me like, listen, this was after the NFL kind of changed their quarterback role and all that stuff if they had said we're going to draft the kid relatively somewhat early and we wanna keep three, but we can't keep you as the third. As a potential third quarterback at your number. So we're gonna cut you. And we'll bring you back, and it was very much like, yeah. We know this is this is your probably your best option financially whatnot. So that's for sure you've got it right on the right on the dot. That's how it worked out. And they brought me back, and you know, it was an interesting year. So you didn't officially retire till twenty seventeen. During that stretch when you didn't have set gigs, and we rebound around was there a thought to go play. Elsewhere. Did you ever wanna play outside the NFL how much were you tied to the idea of I wanna play football till the wheels fall off versus as soon as the opportunities for the best. I can get kinda run out. I'm ready to move on. Yeah. I was listen I love football. And I I was a guy that loved the grind of it. Like I from an early age. That's what I talked about with my father and the work ethic. And I told myself when I fell out of love with the grind. That's when I was going to be done. I would not like a, hey, I'm just gonna play to the wheels fall off. I was never gonna play outside of the NFL would have never gone anywhere else to a different league in play. I was really like when this is done..

"The Clapper lunches stars. I have the colts favored by two and a half over the Cowboys. All right. I hit this one on head three gave it a full three game me more to the Colt need to keep winning. Cowboys really there's a chance the cowboy I know you say they can jump into three seed they may not have to win another game to win this division. Eight could be enough. God you hit the lottery that division. Yeah. Well, that's the other thing. How funny was it? By the way, look the capital thing is turned into. There's two separate arguments happen at the same time in one is a little bit of rational one is actually really rational. There's the one side. That's that's operating. Like, he was really good. The last few years are to some alternate reality where it's the biggest travesty of all time that somebody's talented person does Navjot which is a slight exaggeration because we were betting against him. Religiously and that last season in inboard, he's putting a pretty empty stats. Now, he's still somewhere between like I would say twenty five and thirty five for quarterbacks. Right. There's a lot of guys like that who aren't good. But are still kind of you can at least they can steer the ship. He was definitely one of those guys. I don't know. I I know where you're going best. Is he better than Josh Johnson was probably if I remember correctly was wanna be original NFL crushes. No, no. That was Josh Freeman. Josh Friedman that Josh Josh Josh Freeman wasn't Gialle. Oh, I know Josh Rosen. Our talent. But when they still have a chance to make the playoffs, and they don't consider capital because he couldn't learn their playbook in time. But then Josh Johnson's out there in the second half and they signed him for days ago. That's when it becomes ridiculous. Yeah. Right. I wish just work came out ready and see maybe throw the ball thrown in years. Like, you know cabinet. You've seen him in a commercial. That's all you've seen out of him. But that's my point bring him in. All right. Bring him in throw some passes. Let's see the guy was in a Super Bowl five years ago in you. And instead, you you have Josh Johnson who then you're playing that's. Why didn't have him come in on thanksgiving? Right. Neck. No one wants to see him kneel on thanksgiving right against the Cowboys PR disaster. I know, but this is so annoying. Because he's he this is a blackballing, and it's outrageous. But he's also not as good as as the layoff has made it seem, but the the truth in between these two stories is that it's absolutely ridiculous that nobody's bringing him into at least four chromatic work them out. Did you see this to the cubeys? Josh Johnson EJ manual like come on. This is he's gonna the NFL's going to have to pay him like one hundred fifty million dollars where the Zedek 'cause there's no way this is not a blackballing. Yeah. I don't know. I just think the result is going to be disappointing for all capital fan hundred percent. Which is why did the big qualifier in the beginning? He was not playing very well for multiple years..

"You will not find very much weirder in the world of quarterbacking. Then the idea the bucks have been struggling with their quarterback situation for a very long time. But Josh Freeman had one season. You could look it up where people were believing that. Josh Freeman was everything that they hope Jameis Winston would be that. Josh Freeman had one season that might be the best quarterback play. The Tampa Bay has gotten in twenty years and they've got a Super Bowl in their from Brad Johnson. That's easy to thousand at ten twenty five touchdowns six interceptions. And then he played on a Monday night for the Vikings. And it is the most incompetent quarterback display. I've ever seen now, admittedly. I haven't watched a lot of peterman's games. I've only seen the stat lines which are horrifying. But if you remember this Josh Freeman Monday night game that I'm talking about. That's what incompetent quarterback play looks like. And I just don't know how the Buffalo Bills decide again, and again to put Peterman out there while watching someone like drew greats. And like, wait a minute. Our guy is not quite that accurate. You don't even need to watch breeze. Just watch Matt Barkley well that too, but I'm just saying now imagine much frustrate how much more frustrating must be to be a bills fan though. And wait, I personnel. People thought that could do something. They benched tyrod Taylor. Remember the bills made the playoffs last year? And they decided there wasn't a ninja first time in seventeen years. They make the playoffs with tyrod Taylor. And then they say now we're going with Peterman in a game. But how do you trust that person moving forward? I think you're right. Everyone should be man. We had a poll earlier this year. Does anyone on the builds trust anyone else on the bills you realize how right vantera Davis got? This guy's crushed him for quitting you want. Then looked at Peterman said bleep that my career is over. So they make the brave move to bench Taylor. Even though everyone's confused by because Taylor is not playing poorly. This is a team that's in playoff position that bench him for Nathan Peterman. I ever start five picks in the first half. I'm pretty sure all five of them were in the first half. That Freeman game is mesmerizing. This is why Lewis show. Mccoy's the unhappiest man in the NFL twenty of fifty three for a hundred and ninety yards. And an interception. Let's go my private jetty thing. Going to fuel itself is worse than that peterman's worse than Josh Freeman is Peter and Mike what are the final numbers here because I'm gonna go ahead and call it a career on Peterman. Are you really I think he's going to? Back look out for ballot. Check out. This is what I'm telling playing a lot and Seaver. I mean, listen to me. This is what's going to happen? Peterman is never going to get a professional paycheck again. But he is going to win the collusion suit before capper, Nick. Twenty three and me, we'll help you find out more about you. Get yourself a kit and.

"It's just a matter of whether or not he can play football. And I just don't think that the worst of him is necessarily what he is. I am now though convinced that. The best of him will only be but so good like we thought this guy. They could potentially be a perennial. Pro Bowl quarterback is ain't that unless something drastic changes. This is not that like this is like there's a lot of Jay Cutler with a not as strong arm here. Nothing Jay Cutler was better than people give him credit for. But that's not the comparison that you wanna had. It'd be a baseball player today. Kingman that is not the thing that you want to be. But let me tell you something by Jay Cutler thought to give up stuff to get them and spend money to keep them that everybody. Understood because there just aren't that many good quarterbacks out there Alam's have obey think it might take James was to be a good quarterback. Let me tell you, my guess because I heard thing about you know, if his option for next year's only guaranteed for injury is not guarantee for skill. So if he fails a physical at some point that money becomes guarantees. That's the argument basically, the Robert Griffin argument for put him in bubble wrap and not playing this year. If I had to guess if the general manager doesn't get hired. James going to get that option next year. If it doesn't work for them next year. Maybe they draft a quarterback or maybe they put the option on him try to take a quarterback, you know, at some point fairly early in the draft. And hope you got a guy that can beat them out. Like they did Josh Freeman does she was there maybe play that they make? But James is probably going to be the starting quarterback again. Go ahead and make peace with it. Right. Go ahead and make peace because it ain't gonna be much right or wrong issue is just a fist project angles being to do that. He is. Now, we'll say this comes out here and has a run and the run the run doesn't stop. Yep. He'll wind up keeping the job. I just don't see why anybody would bet all such thing happening. Bet on James either. So I tell you easy about this one. Cavaliers fire Todd Lou. And I mean gave how have you would you be? If you retire Lou. I would be over the moon. This would be absolutely over the moon. I mean getting a fifteen million dollar payout and being told you don't have to hang around a sinking ship anymore. Look bad. Don't forget he had to leave the team last year for health and stuff just stress. I know people forget about that. And that's that's stress. I understand that this unique presses come with the is in your orbit, but that's still stress. Lebron you imagine stress with algebra and Kevin Kevin love about a month. Like, I feel so dumb. I looked at the team. And I was like, and I still think this team win thirty forty games, y'all air so bad. I gave way too much credit to the idea that some of these other guys have some bigger roles, and they still made some having they sting like if I do and do you think show up to work a little bit early tomorrow?.

"You know i just get concerned that he's really smart you know with that's every team wants that out of their quarterback because you're so far ahead of the curve the most telling thing about what morris said in one of the points that i think he wanted to get across in a in a subtle way is quote if you can hold his concentration level and focus only on football for a few years meaning that he worries about him a quarterback in the nfl is going to need to go to the facility on tuesday or he's going to need to get the game plan via email at three o'clock tuesday afternoon or whatever time and start digesting it i'll tell you one of the things i learned in in this is on a former team of years when greg xiang coached the bucks it was very very interesting to me that one of his problems was he could not get josh freeman to do anything on tuesday because josh freeman told him that's my day off okay you recollect that certain earliest so and and she honor used to say to me he said it it is his day off any definitely has the right to take the day off but i'm just telling you thirty one other quarterbacks in the league are not taking tuesday off they might be taken parties they off they might be taking the kids to school they might be doing something else and going out for a nice dinner whatever but they're spending six or eight hours that day on football.
