"Sort of problems are or because i need because inevitably probably in every single scene. Something comes up whether we don't have. We can't get the location of money. We don't have the time Whatever there's always something you gotta be able to go case. We can't do that. How do we still do the same thing differently. How do we still get the same result. And after like completely reimagined and that's one thing that i did throughout all the way through writing it rewriting it casting it shooting it editing. It was just like one is a constant sort of horse-trading. Did you ever get so. You're in the editing bay for a lot of this too. Yeah did you have with the whole. I didn't edit it. But i was in there with the editor of the whole time. Fuck were there was just a. Did you have a good problem of having too much funny shit and having to chop things down or yes yes no. I mean we had we. We only had eighteen days to shoot it. We had very little money. So we didn't we had like shoot this thing quickly And so one. They learned about editing as you can. You can do a lot of stuff to sort of move things around to make it work and you. Can you know it's all about taking a few frames off your making this just for the comic timing of it or the you can change the way a story is told by the edit. A lot and i didn't know that until i went in there and also changed the way i act now because now i know what it's like to be in the editing room so i'm an actor i'm like oh this is what they're gonna want. They're going to want options. How and so that. I just learned so much throughout this whole process into c do well. I think it's going to do all over the weekend. Oh yeah suffolk todd. Who are you getting. Hit up from a were most of these people in the film buddies already like the juice. Straight up san like olivia schwartz in the script and go. Will you do this or yeah. I knew everybody. Except kevin dillon. I knew i knew. I've noticed watson forever big vikings fan and from the same area. I knew dax through when in rome back today now always made friends. I knew dan back at oxide. Worked with them on a show called battle creek. I knew james day because he directed me on on battle creek and a new libya. Just because i've actually new dating a guy. Biggest backer today remains friends. So i just called a lot of favors i needed. Guys would come and lay it down. 'cause i couldn't pay him. They all worked for scale Open now we can pay him because they got a nice back in and Yeah i just called in as many favorites. As i could not and they all showed up and they came in late it down there dan back He was in. I was in the heat with him. And that guy is a fucking scene stealer and us just like just a true just gets funny man and i don't i don't know what he is in the film from second city you know he's an he's he's like one of the second city so he comes from that improve improvisational world yup and and he's but he's also a gifted actor like he was the hardest act he was the last guy we cast. Because you'll see when you see. The movie that shelley has to be is a very specific thing asked to be a guidance believable in that he has gone down a dark dark hall after. You'll see what happens into being a movie. He goes down the spiral he goes from the top to the bottom. We're five years and it just and then but he also had to be fearless. I mean there's full-frontal. There's stuff that i asked him to do that. He that he's jeanie doesn't care. Didn't even fucking flinch fearless man. You gotta be comedy. We'll do ura. You're the man a benefactor For a long time. And it's you're just as cool as i thought you're going to be an A very pulp for this movie and can't wait to watch and your timing couldn't be more. Perfect as comedies are You know not only in the film world but like t people need comfort food programming right now and especially during the holidays Do you mind doing quick at a quick corentin question thing in the. We'll wrap this up jerk some quick quick easy softball get to know us Is there a reality show right now that you would go on or want to go on pre or post covid alone. What's that like naked. That sounds more interesting. So they put him in these places and they get three ten things so they bring like hooks. They don't get bring fishing. Rob Bring fishing line bring hoax compare court and act some like flint starter and they have to make their own spot to live they gotta they gotta find their own food and wherever lacked the longest wins and these people are unbelievable. So that would be one. I mean i don't know if i'd want to actually do it. But it's it's my favorite reality show for sure. That sounds amazing. So it's got a little like amazing race meets naked afraid meets Not dog the bounty hunter. What's the guy the guy in the wild who's out there. grill. Yeah yeah yeah yeah. Yeah it is that but they don't bring to bear in mind they don't have any camera crews around. They teach them before they go out there. They have they set him up with like certain cameras battery packs to charge my guests or maybe once a week they come in and review stockham. But they're out there by themselves and they have to shoot it all themselves of. That's even cooler all right. That's jackie gotta check out a couple of episodes season. Three's great one. Two three and six can alert a fat blunt and watch probably all seasons in about a ten hour sitting role. But he and i of dude. This is if you think that wasn't happening. I'm glad you said that. Because like i've had people to that have That i've talked about things whether it's on the potter. Not when i'm like dude. I got so baked and watch this and watch your shit and there's like okay. It's not something meant for that. But i appreciate it and i was like oh still okay. Great a meal if you're stranded on a desert island A meal like you're not your last meal but a meal that could get you through. You can have it every day. You just had this one thing and you get the forces in it But a plate that you would have to survive on what's on leg. What is on the plate yet. My mom's meatballs mashed potatoes and gravy. Which i had let she made it shoes my boy when i was in mexico for a week and she made me a bunch of frozen one. Eight two of last night so that do balsa Literally my favorite food do god. "Break. The tv or throw a child through the window. What was the question if if i did what. If there's i guess. There was three questions in their first of all. What's the sport that you feel like. You could actually step into the front office and make some guys. They we should change the name of the from the from the green bay packers to the green bay packers. And they're like what josh nobody said you could be in this meaning Chill chill to drinking right. Is there a sport the you could step into the front office and the second part of that. What's the sport that you watch where you're like. I should probably by myself during this game. Because you know yeah a little out of out of the part of that is while let me ask you the second one i is that i don't get as wound up anymore as i used to. Because as a vikings fan learn to break my heart a different way every single year. Yo how about that game against my seahawks guys are hard several. I was at the game in minnesota. When walsh missed the twenty four yarder no you weren't allah game this year. When they did this. I mean they do it like once a year that russell wilson and he is. He is one of those quarterbacks that i absolutely love and despise at the same time because i know that if he's got a chance to win he's probably gonna win it yup and there's only a couple of guys that do that and that's roger's as brady. That's that's russell wilson Not part of the reason why. I don't trust team right now. I don't trust cousins. i think he's a decent quarterback. I think he's a good dude. I just don't think. I just. I think he's a good solid backup quarterback for somebody. Yeah i just having a hard time. Buying him is like the guy who's going gonna take us to championship A go ahead. Yeah go to answer the first part question to segue into that. Is that if i were going to pick a sport and pick something that i feel like. I could tune the front office. It's assess- quarterbacks have this knack for it. I know when a guy is gonna come out of. Because i watch them very closely college and i can tell when a c- a guy it'll be like that guy he's putting right situation could be really good And carson wentz is one of them i remember. He's a bad year this year. But the guy's a great also one of those guys by the way that you got two minutes left. He's probably gonna take you back and i promise us probably gonna take them and win the nfc. This year is bad of a season is happening. Wow do because he's he's that guy knows asandra do it all the way through college. I remembered as a sophomore causes like this guy is a pro quarterback at ndsu is a great football program. But they don't produce pro quarterbacks and this guy's like legit and sure enough junior year that was a senior year they start talking about like a new at the may jumps up and he's like number three. There's they got another one this year. By the way north dakota state this trae lance who declared for the draft and he could be another one can be another one. That could be really great. Do i love how into These guys at that stage you are next year. If things are loosen have loosened up. You should come down me. I used to do this. sports comedy. Podcast with mark sanchez. And we went down to jordan palmer's quarterback camp that he does in the oc with all the young guys. And so it was josh. Our down there and sam darnold and joe burrow and to and and and i stepped in to to take some comedic played sports but like hey man. It's been a minute since i've outs till i've some routes and kat fucking darts josh josh out on point for just like. I caught a couple of diving catches at the sidelines from borough in from from Mark and then josh ounce up marcos dude as hard as you fucking can and so i gotta go pro on. I'll send you the so clip. And so i'm running to the sideline and do this guy. Put it first of all. He's a fucking truck. Josh down throws they're so hard hits me right between the letters below the camera and just all add to do was put my hands around. It knocked the wind out of me. Knocked me to the ground. Then i stood up like a jackass and was just like. I'm ready for the league but i mean this dude and then i go. Please tell me through that as ours you could. He's like pretty much he's like that was like an nfl speed ball. And i was like others catching that. If it's not just knocking me into the sternum you know at dominant leading for sure. Yeah so it's rates special arm talent to be able to play in the nfl. And if you don't have that com- talent you're not gonna last long. Is this why you put in buddy games your director to'real and writing debut. Why looks fucking hilarious. The cast is bonkers. I'm assuming these are all homeys or they. Just everybody fucking loves you. Love the script. But kevin dillon. Olivia munn dax. Shepard schwarzen- back at all g. Yeah it's it's it was by the way we're number one number one moving the country right now. Are you serious Mazal tov do twenty twenty eight. So bad man. It was amazing. So we're watch 'cause you know. I knew a writing this that the critics. We're gonna come after me because it is hard. It's like a it's a it's a no-holds-barred comedy. I wanted to push the envelope..

"Time in hollywood. Love it when dicaprio was doing that like for the scene. He kept forgetting his line. He or he was. He's working at the night before he was refracted. That's key i was like damn. He was making fun of actors. Do that. But i was like dude. That's me no way. that's awesome. Get so mad. Because i was so competitive growing up had this temporary when i was younger. I've been working on it. It's not nothing like it was and i. I wouldn't get mad at anybody. But i would just beat myself up so hard that if i forgot my lines would start getting in my head. Forget again i forget again. It'll be uncomfortable onset and it has happened a few times in my career and and in that scene in particular is like. Wow that is me several times amazing yokata dope to that. You said you want to follow. Brad pitt's footsteps and wasn't he also like a a sopa soak guy. I think he was for a minute. I was on there for three years. I think he did. Like little guest sponsor sponsor and there and then he just blew up but it would have been great if he came into the gap at one point into the back and he was like. Hey dude got a size thirty seven thirty five and you like mr pitt. And he's like that's right and he's like and just kidding about that size you know. I'm a twenty two twenty four and you're like yeah i know you by the way. I'm just kidding about the gap. I wouldn't buy shit. Yeah i just feel in this mall somewhere that somebody was fantasizing about following in my footsteps. So i thought. I'd come by check in. See how the dream was going. A did did your Your experience okay. Obviously you said this fascinates me meant the the soap world. Because i also know from buddies have done it that you can get stuck in it right and to actually break out and have a career like you've had after isn't guaranteed right now. No and i knew that. And also this. This part of what i knew watching for you know so young and the rest is for all those years. We mama always had an aunt. So i had no god. This guy's been on this show for ever and by the way it's not a bad gig. It's a pretty great gig. But i knew that i wanted to go off. I knew that. If i stayed longer than three years i was going to be there forever because they did offer me a nice contract to stay and i was like it is coming from a key to that nothing. I grew up without a lot of money. So there's a for. I'm living in new york city. I'm making money for the first time You know and it was nothing better than making money and probably good money and living in new york and you're young right. I mean that's kind of the only time you wanna be living there a solid sunrises. Put it that way. And it wasn't. Because i was unbelievable but yeah it was it was. It was one of those things where i knew that i needed to. I wanted a loved it. It was a great learning experience. But i had to had to go after those three years. Otherwise i would have been there. Which again wouldn't have been a bad thing. But it wasn't what i wanted did you did you feel like monitor pressure. Then coming out to la because then you what then moved from new york to la. Yeah to go gun awfully actually got the job in l. a. and move to new york for those three years. That's it back. you know. Beat the streets again for other year year and a half. now i got las vegas and then You guys shot that in vegas right. Shot that in la. Oh really. we just built a giant set of on sound stages in culver studio vince. That show ruled con to me is like one of those guys that people sleep on. And i can only imagine the stories the wisdom the puck and what is even like to look across when that guy in a scene i mean. Do you have any just j. C. j. d. buck entails from the strip. Shell god i've got so many. He was he was truly. He'll go down on his the guy that taught me more than anybody about not only acting but about you know the business and by the way not just what to do but what not to do and he would be the first one says. I don't fuck in follow in my footsteps here. Every time we do a scene and he didn't think i was doing it right he'd be like i always knew it. He's like josh. Come in for second among all shit. Aereo take me aside. It'd be like you need to let those due. Do that. And i was like okay. Okay okay but i took it because this is this is sonny corleone this is come on. This is this guy's done everything in this business and i still. I still keep in touch with that guy. And i love him. He's a he's one of those guys that just he lives. he lives is a purist. You know he. He acts before he thinks he doesn't eat nothing. You don't have to worry about him. Like mincing words about anything. And i love that about the bet about anybody who's got the balls to live their life that way. But yeah there's there's there's some gems man. I remember my first date with.

"Was isn't it like the hours are good to right like well. It's it's it's a different world. The whole soap world is a completely different world. First of all. It's the best possible thing that could happen to me. Because i needed that training and it was like gr- it was like the amount of words you gotta learn every day. You know you understand where your light is you understand media on a small scheduling is a little bit smaller scale but the the the workload is intense and i was willing to do the work. I was willing. Because i was all about just trying to prove myself. I just wanted to keep the job. And i would sit there every night working working working working and i asked. My first audition was Passions yes yeah. That's the one that my buddy was on. Yeah was on a so. I went in and auditioned for pasarin. Around your i went on there. If got a screen test and it was a big deal because close to my first acting job and i had to go like Stage to like cormac self this glass of whisky. Because i was part of the united with this girl and she was behind me and i was so sn irvine that i would go was trying to pour this glass whiskey in my hands were shaking and i was like oh god. I'm not going to get this because the shaking with again it wasn't ready. I wasn't i hadn't busted through right but then i got you know the all my children but the thing about the soap still is that it's i knew. My mom watched young. The rest is my whole life. Since i early back as i can in my grandparents farm in north dakota out near esmond north dakota and young and the restless was on and my mom still watches that to this day and so through the years. I watch these guys. Do this. And i knew the way they did it. That's part of why i went in going okay. I know what what they're expected for me. I need if i'm going to try to do this. And do well and make like megan influence. I'm going to do something different. So i would try stuff there. That was so against what was was conventional like well like a jamaican accent. Like how would you step out. Seizes i could just go on and on but i mean there was like i would come in. I would improvise. You just don't improvise on those shows because yeah that would try stuff. I'd start laughing at the scene. When when when i wasn't supposed to you just like just try stuff and again it was mostly out of fear of of of i was like i'm gonna either sink swim. Yeah and i'm gonna things i'm gonna be i'm gonna i'm gonna standout girl and and that's really what my thing was. You know i remember. I remember to be drunk in the scene. Walk into walking under the cetin. I hadn't had all the training i needed. I was still learning this thing. So i just started spinning around around around around like behind the door before i walked in on set and i walked in there like just hammered felt like i was hammered regiment. Why don't you just act like you're drunk and all but not act. Like i was drunk. I myself into a place where i really felt drunk and i still do that kind of stuff because i have to. I have to have to really truly feel it all through my body else. I just feel like taking it to. That's amazing those types of little tricks man or so cool to hear from actress like yourself because it's like people don't again it's like people just assume that you should if you are a great actor like yourself that you should just yeah you can just turn that on and just be and feel drunk and it's like like you said minute to absorb the full authenticity of that like it's obviously going to be better if you can get yourself to a point to where you're feeling it as much as you can without actually. Yeah unless like that. I've never been that guy. I have to and that's why i really. It's it's a physical sort of especially if it's a physical movie. If i'm in a like an altered state or something i gotta work myself into into that state. Who taught you. The spinning move was at a susan. Lucci tip or who. I just made it up on the. I made everything up on the fly. Man i was just trying to not fuck up is she. Was she all my children. Choose all my children. Yeah wow dude. Was that i mean. Let's be let's be honest. She didn't like me very well at first. Because i was not you know by the yeah. I take new just pissed off a lot. We'll do let's be honest. She she was kind of like you know. Let's say i don't know jerry west rick berry and you're coming in michael jordan doctor. Jay leno john stockton. You're doing some new things at that. The league hasn't seen you're improvising. You're spinning backstage. Maybe i might have been. But and i'm not saying she was she wasn't me she was always the she's the consummate professional. But but i. I can tell that i really annoyed her. Because was i was just i would. Did you see.

"And i still hate it when i got to go audition for something. That's the hardest. Part of getting any job is actually getting the job. Doing it is the fun part. Because you're there on set you get to immerse yourself in whatever environment you're shooting at in you have to work actors in. It's that's the fun part. It's the getting the job. And i remember. The auditioning was just so. I could never if i knew if i could get past like that. That that racing heart be or the sweats or not being able to catch the real like panic attacks in allow these early auditions. Because i just couldn't get myself calm enough to give the performance that i needed to get and that was part of that was part of why i had so much empathy for these people who are coming in to audition for my mood Spot so i knew i was now the guy who was like casting but i remember there was one moment my very first job that i got as an actor was for this move. Please don't watch it because it's terrible. I'm terry the movies after. I'm terrible in it It was a student film based on oscar wilde the picture of dorian gray but a sort of a contemporary version of it and there was a moment when i had to lose it. I'd like i can lose my mind in a scene and i did. It was the first time ever done it. Not dish home and i could see the look in their eyes like he's the guy and i knew right there that i got the job and i just broke through some some fear that i've been having to this stuff because i had this thing. They're all going to think. I'm a joke back home. What am i doing an audition. I'm a fraud. Mma fake what am i doing. I'm not an actor. What am i. But i'd been working at it long enough to now that i needed to go really prep for these additions in bring my homework and all the things you gotta do and i find those able to relax enough to just let it go and that was the moment i got my first job and after that i got all my children because i got that job and after i got on my children i was. I was literally in after that one moment. I knew that. I had to whatever job. I had to be fearless and not be afraid of what looked like what people thought of me and i went onto my children and i brought that same idea with me. End up getting nominated for emmy my first year on this on all my children. Yeah one of my second year. And then i got thirty. People have unlike. I still felt like a total. I still feel like a fraud sometimes but Time i felt like what if something happened. Were and then i started to feel like maybe i can actually do this but it was at one moment that i just didn't care anymore. Maybe it was the moment. I i was ready to give up and i was like fuck it. Whatever happens happens. And i brought that with me at all my children. They're like whoa discuss a little nuts. But it and that was kind of the beginning. All my children in las vegas than i got a couple of movies like tamil didn't transformers sort of started to work but having said all that it's still every you know this job this this business you can. It can go as fast as it comes. And and that's why i don't take any of it for granted every job is. Is you know. My last job is being on a soap. I that was beautiful is being on a soap As it looks fun. I've had two buddies on soaps. They seemed like it was always spoke highly about it. Some of the story lines. You know one of them was on passions. And he's like yet today. I think i'm you know revive. I'm like a doctor who's reviving like a hermaphrodite which and then reuniting her with like her estranged son. Who's actually grandpa. Obviously fucking paraphrasing that storyline young and the restless eighty seven. They were ahead of their time with their with their story lines but i think for two soaps and the guy from seattle got that it was from new york and i was in. His office wasn't a casting couch situation but he was definitely definitely given off some interesting vibes and i was like maybe the second thing i'd been in on after my fit modeling career fucking i've and so i'm in this office and the guys like so. What part in new york you from. And i was like you know a the brooklyn side just lied and went along with it. And he's like to took part of brooklyn is like my like. I knew one area called boerum hill. Because i lived there for like three months with a girl in the summer before i moved back to l. a. and saw bore mail on the next to the dubbed the deli shop and he's like the delhi shop and i was like the one with the getting over. Everybody goes there sandwiches and people go in and they ask sandwiches and they have them. Because it's a deli and he named someplace and i was like yeah and i didn't get it but but but but it seemed seeing like all i don't know man like the sets in just being on the the the sound stages ford like sweet..

"Unless it's banning and it's like i don't know i don't get it but i fuck in no her kids so i'm trying to help him. Now that's true but you think. Do you think that there's something to be. Said about. Coming from north dakota not having being a fish out of water and not having any true going in blind like ignorance is bliss in trying to get going this like i mean. I don't know if a genie in the bottle music video. That was one of your first. Gigs yeah yeah. Yeah i was one of my first aches. Yeah i mean. I don't know if that was like a cast off audition or if they you a starbucks and was like that guy be fucking atom culture like let's look in put them minis probably carry his own and a music video because by the way people need to understand that music video like the stories that are told some of these and the acting that is still required. Isn't just like stand there and look hot. Which is can be a part of it. But it's like you still have to show up and add to the to the whole to the whole video. You know if you're if you're you see these people that are in them. If it's bad it does take away. And ken maybe even the song but how did that happen right. How the how the how the genie bottle thing happen. Yeah so i was there to audition for. They said christina aguilera when she was first coming up. I think i hit actually. Fuck ya Grow christina aguilera. I think i'd heard of her at the time I remember the addition like like it was yesterday. So i went in. She came in. I was like well sir on guess they wanted us looking like do we had so. I tried to talk her up a little bit. She was just sort of aloof in and this isn't going well but it went well enough to become the guy's friend so i i didn't the guy but i got the guy's friend right so i was wasn't leaving i was the guy's friend in it and i was i if you watch the video i'm literally it's like i'm gone. I'm jumping over some kind of offense or something. But i remember the set aren't remember being. Oh my god this craft service here. What's all this free food. You know. I remember ron fair. Who became a friend afterwards. music producer this hat on. And he was the guy and he became a friend of mine because he was a friend of my my ex for her And so you're in this business long enough. It becomes a pretty small circle right but that particular job. Oh and by the way the guy that did get the job that i that i was there for fund out was like in my old girlfriend while we're dating so they go do. It really is a small circle. Yeah that's i was like. Wait wait is this guy that beat me in the christine aguilera. But that's the guy that you know those so yeah. I don't know if that's something. We delete from this edition but that that's another truce sport. Why remember this alice because it was fairly traumatic. At in retrospect yeah dude so for bringing that up. Do you wanna talk. Let's shift gears us. Let's let's let's talk about when the winds coming is. Do you think movies okay. So music video. I don't know how much do you have side jobs before you're really getting going to model thing. Obviously and then like did you have to like. I said i was working at universal studios in the restaurant for a little bit. Did you deliver groceries. Did you like you know Sell knives to door like. Did you ever have to do anything like that or was it like a couple of things got going. You found odd jobs in the business. And then you know i was i. I've worked so many terrible jobs coming through. I mean i was. I was before i moved to la. I was working in an ace hardware. Yes distribution plant. It was like an overnight job from six pm to ten pm to six. Am take the breaking down boxes and putting them into these container so that the shoppers could fill the orders for whatever hardware store in the region. Oh my god that was. Maybe the worst. I worked. Construction work for this company would go in. There was a mandate back in the late nineties for california any gas station that had tank that was in the ground for more than thirty years or something they all had to be pulled out and they had replaced with these double lined tanks that they weren't leaking fuel the ground so i had to go in and be the guy that would take these old tanks out and dig out all the soil that was soaked with old gasoline. It will probably the most unhealthy job. I ever had something. I did north. I worked in northern california up in napa for for years just construction. That's where i learned how to operate in a backhoes and excavators and stuff like that You know back room at the gap. Like i told you restaurants. You know i did what i had to do to just make some money do a true man's man. I mean you said construction. And i think you said backhoes. I don't know what the fuck that is. But that sounds psycho is tobacco. Is it like a abaco. Abaco like the detractors. They got the big wheels in the back and they got the big front loader on the backside they've got the scooper. yeah that's called the abaco. You're you're thinking it's one of those groupies that was backstage on your show. A we call those super fans. Yeah that's so funny did. Did you ever have a moment in the grind where you were just like you know. I think everyone is talking about some point. Lisa kudrow famously. Right was getting ready to quit and then got you know. I think it was after. She got fired from frazier. And then you know friends comes along like did you have a moment where it was like man if i get a call back for one more pizza hut commercial. I don't get it. i'm fucking outta here like. Did you have any sort of like ultimatum with yourself or did you have. You always been self-assured and been like dude. Just take a look into those sweet. Jd is no get some confidence and see what the world is going to see. Did you talk to yourself. How do i answer that. So the yes i mean. There's there were. There were a lot of like moments when i was like. What am i doing do you. How can you for me. The hardest part.

"Frees me. He might be a So i up on the couch for like am broke is a joke. I had nothing. I was depressed migraine out here. Man i don't you know i came out here to do something i just don't. I'm directionless. I don't know where i don't know i'm going to do. And one of the guys. It was lived at five of us living in a two bedroom apartment. Right off of franklin gower and jim bit lotto this kid who is working for us in working in the mail room at an agency don buckwald associates. At the time. I one yet calls me knows that. I'm like bro yet. Board calls me up and says hey So the guy the guy to work within this in this mailrooms sick today. You wanna come in cash as a so i go in and and I started distributing photos. For whatever show is you know casting for whatever part and one of the agents asked me. If i was an actor and i said yeah i hadn't ever taken a class. I didn't have any experience that even know and so they start. He's like well we're going to. I'd like to start sending you out. I was like okay and he was. But we're not going to represent you. Were just going to what we call hip hop you. They hip pocketed me and they started sending me out to see what happened so i had several auditions and i'll never forget. It was still dishes on a saturday and it was for ryan something year one. It was like back in nine would have been like ninety seven or eight and so i was. They hadn't gone well to that point but this one went exceptionally bad. It was supposed to be bench pressing something and doing the scene. I just had no idea how prep i. I didn't know anything. I hadn't had no training. No business even going to an audition. And so i go back to the house that day. Don't say anything. Jim goes back to work. Monday comes back after work on monday and said so how about addition on saturday. I go pretty good. He's apparently not If if if if you don't do well in his up coming up they're probably not gonna send you out anymore. They know and i knew at this point. I wanted to do it. But i hadn't really i hadn't really given the respect. It deserved ri- work. Because i do not know. And so what point. I winning and and i actually got a call back on that next one and then i started making a little bit of headway and i really started working at it and studying in and it's been something i've done ever since i don't take this business or this job for granted ever i take every single job very seriously and in that was kind of the tipping point for me is is felt like i couldn't i wanted to hide under the Fingers apparently not that. I can send you out anymore and it was. It was that moment to sort of clicked and i started having war. It was still baby steps for a long time. But that's when. I really started making some headway. That's awesome i. It's interesting how you kinda do unfortunately need a rock bottom if you will and i don't know if that's truly rock bottom moment but something where somebody and outs somebody that you are looking up to in some fashion of what you're trying to achieve that is just being so blunt with you and then it's thank goodness you had him to to be like fucking. Oh you thought it was great. Yeah were you doing it in the shower too. Nobody because there were people at the thing that you just did and they You know whatever it is. You need that outside voice to kind of like actually go. Oh wild because you know parents friends gonna be supportive to appoint right like. I'm sure they're like just book and you can't do no wrong and you're like man. I think i ate shit on that. Probably just in your head but you need that person that's going to break it down Will and you know not everyone or sure not everyone that and spins it into fuel the fire. So that's a good learning lesson for anyone trying to go out. I and she's just one of many examples. By the way this business. You might be able to relate to this but for me even now. It's it's it's mostly rejection. You have to have a thick skin. You got the development. You're just you'll fall by the wayside and you can also. I believe you don't. You can't have a plan. B you can't have a net because if you have that net we a plan b probably gonna take that at some point for me even now like i have to keep pushing i have to keep hustling or i don't know what else i'm gonna do because i have to. You know i. it's just for work or however you wanted to find yet it's you can't have a net unless you have a net benning in your back pocket and she wants to produce everything that you want to make with warren beatty and your plan b. is you and i had that. Actually you can't have never been in it. She will look. I actually work for an bending dot com and she's trying to push these t shirts hard during the pandemic that basically say you can't have a net dot dot dot.

"Having the amount of modeling experience under your belt. Did you happy. We'll be in like a like you know. My my son is getting into fit. Marlene do you have any tidbits them like. Did you have any of that. I mean yes. It's still you still get that. I mean i still get a lot of people who are who want to get into the business and you know they wanted to do it. Sincere kids and i'm never discouraged but at the same time like there's no there's no fast track you know there's a million different ways to get there but you gotta hit the streets. Man is you know you gotta hit the streets and you gotta grind it. And that's why. Because i've mostly had no other choice. I was going to be a. I got my degree in biology. I was gonna go on. And i told my mom. I was going to california to try to go to usc or ucsf of these dental schools. And the whole time. I knew that i wanted to try to do this but i didn't really know how. And you know. You just got like i would i. I mean i did. I could go on and on about the embarrassing moments of just trying to make it in this town all the rejection. I mean it's just rejection. I it's just you got to have very thick skin. You gotta be a do working. I just tell people you gotta you gotta get class. You gotta get up in front of a group of people and not be afraid. And i think a guy who does stand up you stand that. I don't know how you do that. I could never get up. And i've done some stuff where you know. I felt like i was fearless. But i could never do standup. I just terrified of that while that wasn't something that you never because even to me which is weird like standing like doing modeling or walking a catwalk or just having that many people taking pictures is i don't know did you walk. Walk a catwalk. You have to at some point right. Yeah did i think. I did one or two shows there but it was just it was just i was steph. Didn't i mean i grew up. I grew up in the suburbs of mine north dakota and there's no modeling industry there's no there's no training for anything like that so it was it was just. It was uncomfortable in the beginning. But i knew that that was not my means to getting to where i am now. It means to try to do something to make some. I thought it was i. You know you don't know until you know until you still you go through doing for. This is not what i want. Did you have anybody in north dakota 'cause if you're a guy north dakota i'm going to venture to assume you stand out a little bit. Yeah i don't know what the fellas look like in dakota are we get lots of lots of josh d'appel ganga's or is it like how many other. Jd's are walking around with the same type of swagger and john. You've got right now in north dakota. I'm sure there's plenty. But i haven't looked i've ever done recon. Bill is okay so you so you start getting to the modeling thing did you have like. I don't know any family members tied to the business or any one. You knew that even got you. How'd you get the bug for even hollywood. Was it like watching a show. Did you see some movie. And you like i just think it was is a really good question. I was moved to northern california. I was living in. This town called Rohnert park which is between petaluma and santa rosa. I don't know if you've been out for. Oh yeah I was working in a gap hosts They wouldn't let me out front in the front of the house to sell clothes. Because i didn't dress well enough. So i was in the back and i would i would unpacked boxes. The came the crates that came in. And yeah folds weapon up. Put him there so that when the they run out of sized steel thirty to thirty seven's they would. They would come back. And i would have mall rifle An important job. And i remember we were. It was right around the time I can't even believe admitting this. But it's the truth. And i love this dude. I've never met him. But but i love. It was right around the time. Legends and fall came out. I was like brad. Pitt is the coolest motherfucker i've ever seen. And that was our wanna be like that guy. And that's when i kinda got the bug. I mean i had to go out there to begin with. That's why i was in california in the first place. But that's what i was like. You know what. I'm gonna go for it and all this other stuff happened after that To seven years later. I'm getting my first audition for something which went terribly. But i think was what really sort of you know. I just always liked that dude style. Like the way he operates seems like a good dude allows work. That's kind of what in and also you know. Gaza bill murray guys like jack. Lemmon and guys like jack. Nicholson wow not to say that. I'm anything near that. But those are the guys that really. After i really started training and looking at it in working on it. That's what i try to emulate the fearlessness. That those guys have. that's awesome. Well those are all great guys to try to emulate and an aspire to be like. It'd be so did you have any You said that first audition seven years later after would just went terribly. What was the forty member so okay. so i'm now living in los angeles. I had a girlfriend in san francisco. We broke up that day. I packed my ford taurus up in droves to l. a. Add some buddies who were living there one of my buddies who actually i play in this movie. Believe it or not. Bob schwartz he You ju- jewish no. He's not jewish for real. Now see adam ray. I'm jew raise not a jewish last name. That was a joke. bob. Schwartz is not a jew. There were there. Were four different. Bob schwartz's at temple beth. I'm in seattle. Where i went as a as a child are you serious.

"Australia north dakota all right. I'll put her and i look at it and i was like what the fuck was i think. Also i mean it's the whole modeling world to me is so bonkers like the closest thing i used to when i was fresh out of college or still playing wolverine at universal studios buck in scraping by had just quit a restaurant job that i was only for two days because the head chef gave me a panic attack because it wasn't cutting the butter squares right shape so i was like anything just truly in that. I need to do anything to make money. And i did something for a few months called fit modeling. We're basically it was like from my size downtown downtown and put on jeans for these guys and they turn around and around. I was like the certain size for whatever and they just want to see how their product with donny. And i think it was. I was with a company called rage models. Which definitely sounds like. They're trying to like like they've definitely molested. Get like this agency is. I don't know if they're still around but like it was. Just i remember i went office was like way deep in the valley and it was always tucked away behind like a cheesecake factory in like a best. Buy that. We've been shut down for months. And they was like seventy five bucks for five hours to wear jeans for like rich italian guys so you had a similar experience i did. I did exactly that. That's why. I cannot believe that you know i went out after i win this thing. I think i'm gonna go on and be a big big deal. And i wasn't took five years to get anything after that. How the milan. Which is like you know this word. They do all that fashion stuff. I went there thinking. I was going to be all this modeling stuff. I just was terrible. Terrible bad at how bad. How can you be bad like your lowest bad. I was never comfortable like in front of a camera taking photos. I just couldn't. I just never felt comfortable so as a side job while i was in milan. Not making any money doing what i went there to do. I took a job as a fit model for prada in the incident while. Yeah it sounds like a big deal but it was not. It was the most humiliating job. You're because you're not gonna all day waiting for buyers commend as i okay. So and so's coming in from whatever store come out. We got the clothes on. Walk out there. You just feel like a like a train chimp. Yeah and. That's really. What i felt like i was like wow. This is what i become. I was going to go to now. Rodriguez telling me that my thighs don't look good in some some cowan clydes. This is not how. I pictured my hollywood dream to pan out. There's nobody there but there's somebody there my see. Sled business just so that. That type of reaction doesn't come my way again because i was very disheartening. Dog sled before never. This is why. I feel like it. You know. I feel like it would be the thing to alaska's probably cornered the market on that but like why should they be. The only ones believe it or not. I've done it. I've done it before last year. She got the fun like drama network. Shows like you know now this movie that you wrote and directed right. Yeah yeah it. It's been an interesting career you know it's it's i do like to mix it up as much as i can. Yeah i guess from the beginning you try they try to put you in a box and you spend half your career just trying to find your way out of that box of grew. I'm not that i miss. I can do this too. And so that's that's that's been a lot what i've done but i love doing different things. This was so fun about being able to do movies for. I'm i mean to make movies man. I'm just so lucky to be and get a to make a movie about a kid who's dog speaks to him. If i get to make a movie but a guy. I just finished a movie in mexico about about done with it or three more days here in. La about a guy who gets in his car accident wakes up in. This hospital doesn't remember anything and realizes this mexican mafia is trying to get information from him because he stole a of money and it says battled to get out of this like to play. Make believe and i get to do all kinds of different stuff. And it's it's it's a very farm. Did you know that when you took second place to ashton kutcher in a. I think it was like a mike who's got the best balls or something. What was the contest. There's like it was a it was normal. Adam cooper took second to me. Adam cooter is that we just called them. You came together. I thought you were calling me. Adam cooker which then also satellite some weird. You know that he was chris back down with chris. Cooper nine eight changed the aston But no i actually one that. It was the most ridiculous thing i've ever done. It did win. it took second to you. I won the thing that but the problem is i took second after that because he went on and did all kinds of stuff he went on and did like a seventy show and everything else so i struggled for several years. One the i m ta. I thought it was a big deal but it really wasn't but you know it was. It was a funny sort of can change of positions after after that actual zoo lander like experience. Was it really. I was just going to ask the right up. Yeah it was. We walked wrong. I mean there's video online with this. It's it's an. It's i'm not proud of it. I had some local thought. I mean with the pandemic going on with kobe. "That's it it's not even like a plaque or trophy that you could just point to and say this is what i got. Because i didn't flinch when a paintball let me in the nuts like literally. You know you don't even really get a trophy. At one point. There was a trophy. But that i don't even know what happened. I think so. Yeah just bragging rights and now that we're actually talking it out loud and think there's something wrong with me. Josh duhamel here on the rich eisen show and how many of these i'm a. I'm assuming the number of zero but how many of these is something warts and said that's too much can't do it come. I'm not even kidding hammond. Him and back at all. I mean james day is amazing and the guys you know. It's not just screw all stuff either. It is outrageous. We're talking about meeting the pina colada part of it but but yeah it's a truly wanted guys who would come in we are. We only had eighteen days to shoot so we had to go quick. I wanna guys who were You know actors. I but also comedic and could improvise it. I let them just just kind of let them go. We had a we had crammers. We had to keep within the scene to push the story forward. But you know. I want these guys to feel sort of creatively liberated as they went. And that's what i. That's the way i love to work. And and that's kind of environment research and they came in and just laid it down and it was so much fun like summer camp. So did you at least attempt to get dame judi dench in the cast streep. Did you ever go on that. Well what do you think. Oh i did. I did but apparently she was busy. Just maybe just. Maybe the stunts were just too easy for. She wanted something more. Challenging could be that you know you could use obscene run that forty yes data benefit concert. You're always welcome. And i could do the one where you have to run in protective gear with the arrows being shot. I could try that one you know i can be a good one. How about this one josh. Here on the rich eisen show again. His director oriel and writing debut buddy games available in theaters on demand digital dvd. Right now the insane. Obstacle course that includes electric shocks and beer-chugging. Did you pick that one up when you when you showed up on the set of holy moly recently. Did that one from josh. No no. I didn't actually s i. I you know i scrub the internet. I found some ridiculous stuff we do. We got ideas and we sort of you know molded them to the way we needed him to play out in the movie. But yeah i just wanted to have this and that actually does come from something that that's a different group of buddies that i met out here in. La who do this thing called trae sambra's and they did this giant obstacle course that includes all kinds of crazy stuff. And that's sorta were. That idea came from but we just kind of made different version of it for for the movie. Yeah you know this. Is you know this is the thing about. This is that is crazy as it sounds. It is truly something we all look forward to your guys all over the world. Do stuff like this Maybe not this extreme. But you know. I think it's important to keep that. Kim alive inside of you you know and i in mine is alive and kickin believe me and i just i. I love to sort of first of all. See my boy. I i love these guys and you know we just kind of immediately. Rip back to our sixteen-year-old cells and they get together and fun. And i think that's okay. It's fun it's just a tennessee one. It's a laugh riot man. The whole thing dotty games. I think it's a good time for it to you. Know there's there's there's nothing but a good time here. And i think that you know right now is a great time for this movie. Being come down we just wanna get lost and just have fun and forget about all all you know real world stuff. I mean i had jared goff on last week quarterback the rams and easing fantasy league with all his buddies from back in the day. Just like you know. I mean i guess it's version of buddy games in a way. Josh is that he said even though he's not paying terrible attention to it but he has a friend who is as general manager. The loser of the league has got to do something totally crazy year in year out. Two years ago it was. The loser of the league had to go fly nome alaska for day and and last year it was. What was it the barstool. Chris has some sort of a fight. Every rough and rowdy rough and rowdy data go fight in the barstool rough and rowdy at the super bowl. Like that's what they had to do. That's what what do you need to fight like a fistfight. Yes like boxing. Yeah like actually get in a ring and a half to get get an actual fistfight competition with somebody because you lost a fantasy football league. I mean people do this sort of stuff all the time and it's fun it's fun to see man you know i agree and i love that. Those are those are my guys right there. i bet. You're not yeah okay. Got it So we just did mulligan super bowl mulligans to start this show. Because i'm getting ready for tomorrow's nfl game day morning Did you take a mulligan on your preseason super bowl pick or no no sir not in the afc my friend. The pittsburgh steelers at and And who'd you have in the who'd you have the nfl none. I i took a lot of heat at the time as you always do. If you pick anybody in august other than the reigning. Afc nfc champions But i just it. Everyone said oh. Come on rothlisburger. He's you know. Wash dot com. You're living on planet delusional. If you think big ben is gonna come back from that no way no way not enough offense then it looks pretty good ten and Postponements aside but nobody knew about chase claypool. Nobody knew how good ben would be. I feel great there Therein lies the rub in the national football conference. Though i as we talked about early on in this season big i went all in on the tampa bay bucks which i don't feel great about and yet i i don't love really anyone in the nfc. I think there's a there's a lot of good teams. And if you're talking about a great team like i don't see chiefs. I don't see pittsburgh even new orleans you know it's the they're in a really strange to this and right now and the team that i'm i'm falling slowly in love with like we're we're just slow dancing. It's it's hands on the hips. We're playing simply red or something. Classy i like. I like the rams..

'Wonder Woman 1984' will debut in theaters and on HBO Max this Christmas

"Woman. Nineteen eighty-four is going to go directly to hbo. Max on christmas day not going to cost money. It's going to be free to stream We talked about it. Obviously how this was gonna be a huge Say domino for the all. Those movies the blockbusters at everyone has saved up. And they they kinda hinted even hinted the rumored this for a little while too but this is obviously huge and warner brothers. I wouldn't want. I don't want to say they're fucking with other people's money but they definitely now set into event as a lot of other Stews are going to have to kind of follow suit in a sense. They don't have to but it's going to now at a lot more pressure on them to have to do that in just might also be their perspective on the the resolution code or least how far off they think any sort of major population return to movie theater might be right because Things are things are getting. Things are rough right now are going to continue to be roughly the winner and we get into springtime. You know there will be hopefully a vaccine released but then the logistics getting it out is going to be a thing to and so you know other people willing to theaters but again it's not it's not about who's willing to go to the theaters and not about some people. It's about like what you get. Points is a critical mass. Feel comfortable getting back. And yeah i think i think some of them were just doing the decision to say like you know either we pun on this now or we pun on it later and if we pun on it now we have more information about where to go with it. If we pun on it later we're kind of holding our cards still then I i don't know though. I still kinda see like for wonder woman in this. Is you know. maybe why don't work at a movie studio. Like i'm i'm happy releasing it on. Hbo max. because i wanna see it. I still don't see like i feel like if you held this feel still go see it right like give you this to september. Twenty twenty one. This is still major movie that people would be wanting to go back in and see. So there's there's other things at play that i'm probably not smart enough to figure out or just don't know but at the end of the day like we talked about last time just happy to get a new big big old big old movie. That's not long back on That can from my eyeballs. Yeah i think for us it's like it's bittersweet because we're consumers and we wanna see more content. We want more goddamn movies like we said thousand times over the last few weeks the same time. It's it bodes poorly for theaters which we love and wanna say so. It's it's it's tough to kind of reconcile those two desires. I guess but. I'm excited to see it regardless i mean that's a good christmas day gift and if a couple of other movies are releasing not couple of a lot of movies are releasing on christmas. This year Some excited to see it. You got a lot of content coming out in december. I think it's going to be good. I love the eighties vibe. I love the trailers for it. I accepted the exception of cheetah. But i think that's she's gonna look better once we see her in the actual movie. No no it's it's gonna be interesting to see how the every other studio kind of react to this now But it's good for each max and they're gonna drop the the the literal biggest blockbuster to be dropped during covert

"Throughout the day so if you're not familiar with or hey Moskva doll he's a Miami guy that we've all fallen in love with around here he has the fastest knockout in the history of the UFC and he's been grinding for a long long time came up through the streets of Miami next akimbo slice slice fighting literally in the streets and now he is taken his star turn star turn that had him end up on get up today's to gods and so people understand and MMA has star problem for a bit of a for a while now where the the people who love 'em or watching all the time and we'll tell you we'll argue on behalf of the stars but the stars are John Jones and Brock lessner and Ronda Rousey and those are the people that end up crossing over into mainstream in stream media appearances like get up. It's a big deal when or hey Moskva doll makes his way out of the cult following the huge cult following that sport has and makes its way into the mainstream. Ma People don't like to talk about this the fans because we don't need the mainstream we're fine over here in the shadows will love our thing and we don't need any of your help and we certainly don't need any of your ignorant journalists talking to our guys because we you know because my Greenberg's not asking asking sophisticated. May they have an annoying fan base they do. They don't WanNa share their sport man. It's weird they. It's not that the whole fan base is annoying. It's that you have some zealots who argue on behalf of their thing and say that they're better at fandom than you are in better at knowledge than you walk but billy you saw or Moskva doll on get up and what did you think to yourself because this is his star turn. After many years grinding in the shadows he's headlining an event. He gets a cut of the pay per view and here he is doing the interview circuit where he's welcome in New York too. That's not I'm telling you outside of a couple of guys. There aren't aren't a lot of people who are allowed to make that mainstream leap Chaleston and did it with his mouth conor. McGregor did it with his mouth and is fighting so now or Hey Moskva has said. You're not a terrible interview. I love watching him fight. I find his interviewing quaint quaint in terms of he's just doing all the west coast sort of I smoke a lot stuff. I mean it's a fun interview. It certainly a wild ride. He's not captivating activating speaker well. Actually he is captivating. He's just not effervescent. you never know what it is that he's going to say. He's not going to give you a lot of introspection in the interviews but Moskva Dahl is funny. He's interesting. I'll make fun of himself. He's a good talker. I can ratchet up the stakes. He's very good at this man. I'm worried I'm worried and I think it's coming from a place of insecurity security. I think we've lost guys. I think he's no longer hours. He's out there. He's playing around with greeny. I don't even think stu gods needs to work his tongue in the break about working out for. I don't think he needs to work. I don't think you're going to do this. I think he's GonNa. Watch the octagon with Greeny you right now really that concerned. Yeah Yeah and I'm I'm. I'm conflicted because I'm happy for him like obviously it's great for him that he's reached his point his career that he's on get up like these are all good things but selfishly. I'm sad and I'm not happy for him because I I thought he was hours. We had him on the show. We played around with him outside. We were GONNA weren't doing the same things that got. US getting annoyed with. MMA fans are doing ours. We don't WANNA chair in their press conferences tonight at the seaside studios so maybe that's why it was just kind of a thing like I'm just trying to think. Maybe he still likes this this morning. He was just doing that because he had to be there but they didn't tell me you see dirty started working there and he's going to be there. Fisher Green is going to be there at the presser tonight. Ah I hear is the sound don't think he'll be there tall t three or five chain Ashley Greene. He's not going to be there dressed like I think green Migraine put it on the poll so is Mike Greenberg afraid of blood because I feel like he was afraid. I felt like Mike Greenberg and I know Moskva. Dole has that knockout. It also looks like you know em Jesus out there and he reaches this is what is called and so here's my Greenberg thank you. I appreciate it. Here is my Greenberg appearing to be afraid of. St Jesus people have talked about you and Conor McGregor. Would you like to fight Conor McGregor that fighting. The president deemed Dean do not good because they don't want a murder charge so they're not going to allow that to happen. I mean I don't want to go to jail for killing nobody. That's not what I WANNA do. I just I'm here to compete and beat people up you so you're telling me you would take care of. The president said that we can't compete because I'm too. I'm too much man so there's not that can't happen. We're like different. You were different spectrums. Doesn't he's not going to allow that to happen. AM I. The only one of the room afraid I'm going on January. The Room seems to be laughing at my Greenberg steer before before Mike Greenberg even realizes that the room laughing and it's fear his follow up question after follow up question not he was rattled. Okay Greenberg's good at his follow up question was week after Moscow says I don't want to murder a the man listened to Mike Greenberg journalistic follow up question people have talked about you and conor McGregor. Would you like to fight conor. McGregor that fight the President Dean did not good because they don't want like a murder charge on them so they're not going to allow that to happen. I mean I don't want to go to jail for killing nobody I. That's not what I WANNA do I just I'm here to compete and beat people up. You know you're telling me you would take take care of conor. McGregor can't compete on too much man so there's that can't happen. We're like different. We're different spectra it doesn't he's not going to allow that to happen. One of the room afraid genuinely. Eh Sitcom audience. Is that the entourage is that the entourage the Sitcom audience. Is that where she got supposed to be. Tell me they wouldn't make a great great buddy COP team. Moskvy dawn greening great guys would watch that. Would you detective season four three whatever you guys would wanNA buddy cop so instead of being different than Mike Golic which is you know what Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic parlayed are laid into fifteen twenty years of radio excellence the oddball chemistry or the the differences between them. I think yeah I would say that a guy who grew up fighting on the streets of Miami for money and a guy who cuts his hamburger with a fork are two very different human being the only one that wants to see the fight between a smaller guy like Hori Moskva and a really large guy who doesn't fight like Moskva over shack. That's a that's a guy who doesn't fight because there's a reason for those weight classes. That's what I mean a guy who's not a fighter but really large while you think so you think do yeah against Moskva Doll. He's humongous or no. I'm taking Moscow second miles per game. Are you kidding me. Shack wipe the floor with floyd only has punching mas but all can do something where all of a sudden shack on the ground and the only the reason for beat big show at wrestlemanias because he got brass knocks at the referee total blind eye to that group Dan Liberty Card I mean as the call me Chris Karaoke Stugatz. "He'll be here in a second but real quick. We catch up with an old friend love love. This man also a sex symbol. Jim Leyland joins us now. Jim. Thank you for making time for us. We appreciate it. Sir No no problems. That'd be all you guys so oh just one question. Do you believe we have seven people in this. in this room and none of us have played anything above high school baseball. Can any US get down abundant successfully in a major league game if you gave us one hundred chances no yeah no no no I don't. I don't know I guess my answer that would be. I know that ESPN like I'm talking about TV. I know there's been some good athletes I on ESPN ESPN so. I think that that's a possibility I don't know who's in your room. I don't know if there if there's any good athletic guys they're not but I think it's a possibility with some of the guys I've seen it on the TV possibly the guy. I don't really know the first time I certainly couldn't do it. Jim You know I could. I questioned whether Dan could do uh-huh in fact I would bet everything I have but I don't know I don't know the other people there so you so you know it could be a possibility but you know I doubt it very much. I think most of them would be afraid of the ball to be honest. Yes that's correct. Jim Thank you we love you. Good catching up with you. uh-huh pro everything has so now we won't move from one sex symbol to another this guy allison described him simply as smoking hot it and our celebrity prognosticator because we've we're not doing well again. Naked Cowboy was terrible. John Cicada didn't get anything done for us and so now we bring in Josh Duhamel to to help right the ship here because the naked cowboy was two and three and I'm sorry you have to follow the main Kabul. You're a much bigger celebrity than the naked cowboy Ebola Josh. Thank you for being with us. Can you fix all of this for us. Please what we do my best Dan. I'm going to first of all coach. Leland gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's not here. He wants to call back back. You WanNa ask an. Have you asked him a question. I know he's gone and what I'm saying. Is You got hundred chances. Yeah you probably afraid of the first few but you can get up to one hundred ten man. Eh after you hit you know a triple. Gosh Josh. You have spent a lifetime being continent continent okay. I understand why you think that you can do everything. People in this room cannot do everything or anything. They can't get a sentence out right right none of us you killing you Dan. They could get a bunt down chances they could do. Exactly we get lucky exact you. WanNa come down and do it with Josh. Not Yeah all right so basically we've got Tim Kirk Shinbun Shabby and Jim Leyland telling you note and Elmo Jeff hasn't but josh doom out says it. Can you thank you. We're just looking for anyone found him. When was your big break. Josh like it was it was how much before Gina bottle well. That was probably my first job in Los Angeles that was a that was an extra in Christina Aguilera's genie bottle video. Yes that's true. You've done your research down. I appreciate that you're beautiful. That's why that's how you got into that video right because is you're just sitting listening. You Could Watch that one hundred times and probably never seen the. It's literally a point seven second clip of me jumping over the fence and that's it so I'm not really in the video I was in it but not really up so was it after that then did somebody discover you from there you discovered after that what was a job in. New York shortly after that on all my children my children for three years in New York and the Las Vegas when I came back to. La So you know it was it was a lot of industries for years but once it started rolling I was able to keep it going were you. Any good is a model terrible so I only did it for about seven months. Let's why were you terrible at it. It's a lot harder than you think man and so's bunting. It's hard to sit there and post for camera. If you're not comfortable doing it you ever try. I'm sure you've tried it. I was terrible at it. I understand attitude. I yes I would be bad too. I just love though that if I if I asked you. which do you think Josh do? Moi's better at is at bunting or modeling. I think I think when you when you think he would say modeling he might say with a bat my hand that I am Tom. Are you. Are you ready to pick some games for us here. Scott says a question. Bring ready to pick some games for us here. Let's do it well Josh before we get to the Games. I'm wondering am I reading this correctly. Because you have to tell this story you mistakenly smoke marijuana on the set of spacemen very first day shooting. It's seven thirty in the morning. I mean my. BWI Van it was a very low budget movie but the movie turns out well anyway. I shooting eight. Am and the props guy brings out this bag which normally it's like a regular. Whatever so I roll a joint I started smoking in this scene and I realize shortly after this was like real strong one so I had to do the whole first half of that day high as a kite. Which is very message? Lee spent most of his time high back those perfect really getting into Garin. How how did you do as an actor like. How did you do high. Oh I thought it was good. You know sometimes do my best. Worki- how was lunch that day I don't I don't typically do that. Chris was asking you how wonderful the cuisine Aziz was that afternoon. I wonder if the cuisine was the lunch. Lunch was a delicious yeah. I couldn't stop ah I know it is time for celebrity prognosticator nurse win some money the Baltimore at Kansas City Kansas City is minus six and a half who you got Baltimore. I think they keep it closed. I don't know if they win the game but I think they keep it close. You dare to bet against Patrick. Mahomes Brian has said that America should stop doing that. Detroit at Philadelphia Philadelphia minus six. Will you got. I'M GONNA say Carson Bounce back off week last week. my boyfriend. North Dakota's GonNa not only cover but I think he's GonNa come back. I strong in win by about Twenty Oakland at Minnesota. MINNESOTA'S MINUS-NINE MINNESOTA's your team right Yep. They like that We should have won that game last week. Cousins needs to it. Is You know what together but I think you come back strong this week and beat the raiders by about sixteen. Put US next to you. When cousins does that interception in the end zone where are you. What's on my guy well. I was on my way to work last Sunday but I'd watch the whole game game up until about halfway through the fourth quarter and then I some following it on my phone and it's just it's just the guys it's not that he doesn't have talent. He just doesn't win games in the clutch and he needs to get. You need to figure that out. You don't throw an interception on the five yard line on triple coverage. You lose the game. That's just stupid. Good Mac Denver at Green Bay Green Bay seven and a half point favorite who you got. Who is it Denver Green Bay yes. I'M GONNA GO WITH DENVER. I think flacco comes back into the same thing. Oh my God oh my God believing and Flacco at his dangerous job or seven and a half in your picks much I believe in flacco. It's more about me using all of my Juju too the packers into lost okay very good so that's you don't even believe what you're saying. You simply want the packers to lose because you're vikings fan here. What I want to know okay. We're trying to win well. Maybe that's the way to do it because the way we've been doing it in work at New Orleans at Seattle Seattle minus four who you got bridgewater the QB now two saints right Yup Yup. Maybe unless you I mean mostly it's in I'M GONNA GO SEATTLE BATTLE. I think that I think that they went big. Josh thank you hopefully you have a winning. We can have you on back again next week. Last time you were on here. I should probably apologize the judge for this because the last time you were on we weren't around here and this is what actually happened during our well wasn't our conversation with you. It was is Ryan Holland's having a conversation with you Josh. You're going to have to forgive me for this because I'm GonNa ask you a real edgy question but I'm GonNa. You're Mike Guy Okay. Not Forget your mic guy. You might be on my wall at home. Okay MIC guy. You're my guy too. You're on my wall. This hurt my feelings as a real fan and I know that it wasn't meant to be taken in this way but but I felt like in the transformers before there are some robots that said some real as an African American male. I felt said some taken and as racist and edgy things just the way that they spoke was supposed to be. I guess in a sense of an African American depict the hip hop culture and I was like that is sold not what hip hop is and I'm not saying that it was Mitt in that way but it personally. My feelings were hurt. I can't speak for everybody else but I just felt like it. It was a bad a bad take. I don't know if they came off as entertaining but as an African American male me myself. I was taken back by that but I still love the series. Maybe can you break that down. I'm sure you've heard about it too or had. Some you know possibly some small backlash from it. Oh come on man I mean. We're WHOA how we're talking about robots. How could we possibly make this racist okay. I'm sorry Josh we just want to apologize. Okay I mean first of all. It took him ten minutes to get to the point now. I'm like stop. Stop Libertad ARD. Did you ever have a crush on a cartoon character. Oh can I go. This is a question but I did Jessica who framed Roger Onto Rabbit. Yes yes I married to Roger added even though he was a bunny and she was a humanoid but they were both cartoon Stugatz.
