"And justice for all victims of crimes against humanity. This is her tweet from the other day, she said. We've seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the US Hamas. Israel Afghanistan. Taliban I asked where people are supposed together, blah, blah, blah. So she gets the attention. She she's thirsty for attention. She got it. And what I don't. So where what gets me is she's always said this kind of stuff. So why are Democrats mad now? Have you seen some of the tweets that she had previously? Where she would play up these these tropes and and she, like engaged in blood label and all this other stuff. These are tweets that she is. So why now are Democrats Mad at her. Remember when Nancy Pelosi, they refused to center her for her previous tweets. So here's the thing. Now there's a dozen Dozen Democrats in the White House that have come forward and they're demanding that she quote unquote clarify. At post That she that what? I just read to you the tweet that she had just and she shared that video of herself the video summit that we played earlier. And They said, We urge her to clarify her words. And before placing the U. S and Israel in the same category as Hamas and the Taliban. And this was Jake Auction clause. Ted Deutch, who hates me and wants that next to my husband called me A B word and Parkland and he didn't know he was sitting next to my husband. Fun fact. Uh, Lois Frankel, Josh Bath Time. Our Elaine Lauria, Kathy Manning, Jerrold Nadler, Dean Phillips Contraire, Brad Sherman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz. I mean, these are I mean Nadler's He's a ranking member. He is the the ranking member for, uh, one of the chairs for the Judiciary House judiciary. Schulz ran the DNC shoes, former chair of the DNC. Now. I don't I think that Pelosi's name would have been on it. Had they not had some other high ranking Democrats to put her name out there trying to give a little bit of that plausible deniable whatever they're trying to give her some space. But that was the whole thing. Remember in 2019 when she was tweeted this insane stuff, and Nancy Pelosi that all the house could do was come up with the resolution that didn't actually center. Eleanor Margaret didn't send her at all. It just said we don't like we don't like into Semitism. That's all. They are bigotry. It's all they said. I didn't want to deal with it. But now this has changed. And Ban bang a gong because and then now She's there there, Hershey and proceeded to leave are inferring that everyone who's criticizing Ellen Omar is Islamophobic and sexist, of course. And This is getting nasty. A it is Crazy. Oh, it's crazy, completely egregious. And I also have audio from Elaine Lauria. Representative. Wait a minute. Let me read you. The spokesperson's statement, Ellen Omar's spokesperson Jeremy Slevin. Listen to this quote. And now some of her own Democratic colleagues are joining up the same Islamophobic hate against her. Accusing her of giving covered a terrorist groups simply for exercising oversight over a criminal investigation. Uh, no, dude. She compared Israel and the United States to Hamas and the Taliban. That's And if you and we're not buying into this stupid, feeble deflection of you can't criticize her for what she says, because that's Islamophobic. Well, you can't disagree with me for criticizing her because that's sexist. Oh, Can't sorry. Now how you can't do it now how it works. Nancy Pelosi is going to have to get involved. It's getting that bad and then proceeded to lead came out and said it's sexist. Then. Now women can have a voice in the White House. It's sexist. I mean, it is a slap fight. Absolute slap fight. Mm hmm. Just was it was fascinating to hear this, So we're going to watch that that's going to be quite interesting. Very Mm. And then Also did you hear the story of, um Ron Johnson, Senator Ron Johnson. There he was banned. On YouTube. The federalist reports that YouTube banned him because he discussed early treatment of coronavirus. The position that YouTube takes is that everything on their site has to come from a certain set of of authorities. That apparently shifts quite a bit. So they censored corporately censored a sitting U. S. Senator A sitting U. S senator. Because he was simply talking about Uh, and by the way, he sits on Governmental Affairs Committee and Homeland Security Committee, and he was discussing the early treatment of coronavirus. And The YouTube sensors, which are sometimes they're super active, like even in the chat that we have for YouTube. Um Lorraine, who is our moderator? She's like, Well, tell me sometimes, like, Oh, my gosh. There, moderators. They were like making it to where we could even put links in. And I've I've heard that when I mentioned that before I heard that I heard from a lot of people like that's how one of the ways that they It's one of the ways that their moderation works, but they've shut down. Uh, any kind of discussion for instance, if Hydroxychloroquine now with there was a Washington Examiner piece yesterday. That highlighted how well research is now It's okay to admit that and acknowledge that Hoxie direct Hoxie, I can't talk Hydroxychloroquine works. Well, I know it does one of my very good friends, her mother in law. Contracted coronavirus. And she had fluid in her lungs. She went to the hospital, and I shared a portion with permission of her record on Instagram because she went into the hospital. She had fluid fluid filling up in our lungs. She went into the hospital. I believe it was on a Monday. They scanned her. They gave her hydroxychloroquine the cocktail thing, and then they did another scan and they, they said her lungs were virtually clear of all liquid. And then the next day she went home. And she is like she checks every box of of, you know of it getting bad. So We have headlines on the way and then Texas Governor Greg Abbott is going to build his own wall. Come and come and take it. Okay? We're going to talk to him about that. So you don't you don't want to miss it. "In fact they kinda bought him a little bit low He was one of the guys they kinda switched out of. I got those kamara While he was at at as high points and took a little chance and got barkley plus you know extra so those are the types of things. I looked for so no. I mean out of all the running backs. He's as good of a bat. I think is is as the other so good. Okay well now ever get up work around the draft i can. I can keep that as part of my consideration. Thanks for talking with josh bath. Near the three peat winner and five hundred Thirty seven and seven fifty number two back to back champ here on episode five hundred the high stakes fantasy football hour. We the question from the chat room the smartest neurobiologist. I know over at cornell. Hudson reeve wants to know about the late. Signing the raiders. Made today kenyan drake from the cardinals is now going to be a las vegas raiders. So josh question for you. I guess for we'll we can talk about it from twenty twenty one aspect As well as what. It's going to be like going forward there. What does this do josh. Jacobs how do you see the backfield shaking out and as a second part to that question. chase edmonds is going to be the guy near zona or are they gonna add somebody in the draft. Yeah with josh jacobs. I actually have them on all through my teams. That was one of the things i did in. The offseason did not see them adding Devante booker but i didn't see them getting rid of their whole offensive line. Pretty much too. So there's been a lot of shake this free agency. And i keep checking it like every fifteen twenty minutes because something else comes out But yeah there's some question marks. I think about jacob's He had a limited Catching role We know he can catch but now with booker in their booker is a little bit older. He's twenty eight out there. But they're not booker during yeah So you know. I i think it does take some of the upside also jacobs. He was probably a back end. Rb one and now. I think that puts them. You know. Probably middle of rb to land so we'll have to see how that takes out In that backfield. I just before we get to the next part. I just. i'm just looking at this right now. this and again i'm doing f. Pc best ball redraft Adp here on this. This is not start up adp or anything like that since it since the signing just happened. It's not going to be very reliable. But josh jacobs was going two three. Turn as running. Back fifteen kenyan. Drake obviously was going later than that When you look at his eighty p As far as where it was at again before he signed with With the raiders. This afternoon we'll see how the squashes out over the next few days but he was running back twenty nine at seven eleven and chase edmonds As long as we're talking about the cardinals chase edmonds was actually going much later than that. Is i try to find him here. running back thirty two at the eighth ten. He was not going that much later. Then kenyan drake but he certainly has the command of the backfield. They're going forward. Maybe it's all the draft in. Arizona soaks day..

Seattle it's going to be beautiful option. for for russell wilson everett's number should explodes catch a lot of a lot of passes. You know we're coming off team. We're tyler lockett. Got one hundred balls last year. There's so much need for this player. in offenses around the league. He's got the perfect place. Yeah it definitely will be especially for Anybody who's managing him in fantasy to Gerald everett now going to seattle certainly well within the conversation of solid backup tight end in the f. Hudson current in the chat room just pointing out that donald parham is cooked in los angeles As jared cook signs the deal with the los angeles chargers he is indeed the hunter henry replacement going to be catching passes from justin herber He goes from new orleans to los angeles fair. What does that to to hispanics value. And i'll tell you right now again. This is over the last five days when he was a free agent but he was going as tight ends thirty two in the twenty first round so kicks him up through the roof. You've got to be impressed with it. Also lets them take another player. I expect him to draft the tight end as well. There's great tight injury depth coming up good talents. They've you can get third fourth fifth round The complete five in story With chargers as togan parham level place east too big and too much of a target. Not too but Cooks could have the kind of year that people always envisioned him to have. This good land is book for one other thing. I wanna get to here by the way we we have josh bath. Ner beat Repeat winner of the five hundred thirty seven dynasty league in the f. Fcc in the back back winner to seven fifty number two coming up in just one minute. I do want to talk. About the broncos backfield here briefly farrell because denver mike boon from the viking. Say two years two point six million dollar contract he gets at one point six million dollars signing bonus and then right after that they rescinded their tender on phillip lindsay which made him a free agent. Now i'm not all that surprised that they went a different direction. Other than lindsey. It didn't seem like they used them a whole lot last year in the backfield and it didn't really seem like he had a place on the team now rightly or wrongly. That was his future in denver. So now he's gonna go somewhere else..

"The desire to do it. We have the Ability to deal with the team to do it and so why not try and sustain would burn and and keep walnut hills alive or would burn that neighborhood of women alive as like a you know i. It needs an anchor. It's a great spot. Man the taproom is beautiful. You know and maybe we're going to kind of inside baseball with us but I i will get people that are angry from you. not asking. some of the questions about would burn The the idea of keeping the name in keeping the brand of would burn alive. How much of a discussion was that. How easy of a decision was it to keep it. And and keep it kind of It's gotten a refresh and it's a little different is still kind of fits in with Everything else you guys are doing but still it's still would burn. You know for sure. How much of a discussion was that mean discussion. Wise there's definitely more than one discussion that had different conclusions to it It's definitely a process that we took by steps and figured out the pros and cons like he would in any critical thinking situation The biggest I guess logic that we use to to keep the name was that manson would burn abbas in a beautiful neighborhood and we wanted to keep the people that were there for one woman was in the best of of light. We wanted those people to be back right when we wanted to keep that experience going. I mean at least i can speak to my about selfishly when i went there when it first opened one chris. Mitchell was still there. I mean i had some of the best beer in the city and i loved every second of it and i wanna see it come back in some sort of fashion and that was part of the logic used moving into that decision. Yeah i too would burn woodmen brewing all of the industry stig months that a lot of people a lot of really good people worked really hard to make would burn what it was at its height and i don't think it would be fair to have it diminished or eliminated because of one person that would. That's that's the part that i think and you don't have to come out and say it is one person that destroyed that business and what it was to not just the community but to this this this Craft beer world around it like it was it was on course to do some incredible stuff and one person destroyed and i i've had the discussions with other people that Other reasons were kind of play with all that bullshit. It's all it's all bullshit it was. It was one person that did all who that person was. And and like it. It's upsetting that. You can take a group of people that were just dumping every ounce of themselves into a place and into an idea and into Into into would burn and what that is and have that all destroyed by one person who you know the issues aside you know. It's it's it's it's again heartbreaking. The same way that that we were talking about before with seeing you know old firehouse sitting idle. It's just hard. It shouldn't be that way and the fact that there is that opportunity for new life makes me feel good and having the the logo phoenix. How into right like oh can you give that a second chance right so i i think it deserves it. Sure and the neighborhood deserves to have it as its flagship and we will be right by right. I mean that's one of the things that when we sit down and talk about what we're doing with the milk craft distillery in that building and how important that building is to milford. I know in my heart of hearts that we will do right by the building will do right by the history will do right by the building and we'll do the same thing with women so Win in march i opened. There was kind of a There was a lot of people that are talking about the fact that it was You big money coming in and starting a brewery distillery. It didn't have seoul with didn't have this at didn't have that it's just somebody coming in. And starting a business and the fact that overtime whether it existed in the beginning or not as a whole you could have that argument but the fact that overtime things have proven to be a little bit different. You know be it. Resurrecting the milk craft and keeping keeping that soul of that building alive or You know with with would burn and keeping that brand in that idea. It's easy to just wipe that stuff off and start from scratch and build you know a nice new little warehouse with with taproom and a really pretty browser distillery or whatever it is in there the fact that that hasn't been the way that things have been done have It's proven a lot about where this business can go long term. I think i get some of the arguments that people make about how this place started in Kind of some of the The philosophies behind a win it started. But i i i believe long-term in what this is becoming. It's it's so. I mean the rumors are true right like we're insanely well-financed. That's it is what it is. But i will say that Mark are owner. Lets us run this right. He's incredibly invested and incredibly passionate about it and he but he doesn't do this for him. He does this because he wants to see us. Succeed in us to grow it And i say us. I say me. Brian josh bath. Jeff and kevin like. I think that's what i think is so fascinating about eggs. I think maybe day one. That wasn't the way it was like. I think day one. Maybe it was like. Oh this is what i want to do. Because i think this is what i think is is going to succeed because what i like and that ability to evolve and change with watching what's happening around you and the people that are coming in here and the people that are working for like that not even some of the places that we all love can't adjust like that can't see the world around them the way that The that maybe yeah ownership here has you know. It's it's there's ought to be said about that that ability to adapt and change and evolve It means something for what this can be long term. And i'm talking. Long it gets we are burger is in the city are still babies like we. Mount carmel is what fifteen years. maybe and. that's the oldest ohana. That's that's nothing in in the world and like you know you're talking about now businesses that you hope can like can transition generations and and become something long long term and i when i look at places like this. That potential is there. There's some great burgers that i don't see that potential with. I think the one thing that we've learned is that the business plan isn't etched in stone right. The there's a leaky we were. We were cider and lager house only interested to that we the the industry time especially during this time as beef we pivoted we. We figured out what seoul figured out what we like to do. And we'll be really good at and we we. We did this things right. At least i like to think so we did. I think so for sure like the right moves.

"Gentlemen boys and girls. I'm denarlie this is since he threw cast the voices sends craft. I'm i'm really really killing grumpy right now. What i'm trying not to be I've been. I'm not annoyed that you guys. I met march first because they saved my life tonight. Thank you guys. We got your back. We'll turn this around home I mean i'm not gonna go too deep into a should but i'm not going to go too deep into it. I had a show scheduled on the other side of town Miles and miles away from here There was an epic snowstorm last night. You guys all know that you saw the snow there was like i don't know depending on where you're at nine ten inches of snow that you had to scrape off your car. Took the day off. Work to record a nice show across town with a brewery that Could use some good pr and some good Storytelling and cleared off my car cleared by schedule drove across town. And there was nobody there to record the show with me. Because i i i don't know i don't know stood up so Got grumpy drank. A couple beers stayed grumpy after drinking those beers. We'll put it that way and put out the call on social media for somebody to save my life and helped me make a show tonight and you guys answered the call We're so happy happy to be here. I am eternally grateful. Always to you guys coming through when i need you to To help me and I'm always happy to sit here and have a drink because you guys have some really great stuff appreciate happy to have you here. I i will say Before i talk about what. I'm drinking right now. I think you can find quotes of me saying that. I do not like belgian style beers. You didn't know that when you selected this. i did But i did. I have said that. I don't like belgian style beers but then every time i've had a belgian style beers since then i've really really enjoyed it so i think that i do like them but for some reason in my head i still think that i don't like them but I'm drinking double chin dual dual chen And it's fantastic it. It packs all of that Big kind of belgian character but stays drinkable. The which i guess kind of is is that your uh your thing. Trainable three couples. Ohio's drinkable crafts. Still up on the on the girder in the back of In the back taproom. I'll speak to that beer a little bit just because it's one of the favorite things that i've ever brewed real. I mean i mean so like. I'm probably similar you. Where do i like belgian beer. I know i like belgian beer. But i'm very selective when it comes to belgian beer brewed that with the spirit the intent to kind of like hit characteristics that universal to to other styles as well. So it's not just the one belgian the clove clover the the the banana or the the other characteristics. That could come with it right. I will say that like in our in our production planning meetings. I fought against belgium. Because i don't i'm with you. I don't like belgians. Like i don't like especially like trials and stuff like that like i just feel like. They're so maybe my experience with them is pretty limited but i typically don't like belgian beer so obviously i got outranked when it came to that And i love this one. Like i'm about it. We kind of snuck this one into the production schedule as well. It was kind of like. Oh we've got like kind of a hole like no one's really like given the green light for a for a belgian especially like a doable or a double however you want to say but it was kinda like well. We ordered the ingredients yard. You guys have in correct me. If i'm wrong here. You have a little bit of freedom here with how many things are going on march first to kind of sneak in some fun little like that from time to time that i think other places may not have i think we're we're blessed to have obviously the production facility that freeze this area up to bruce some wild stuff like this was one of those things and and Especially with the all the different lines. So we order somebody ingredients for like You know the honey whiskey. That just came out all this honey. So i started making. You know bee's knees cocktails behind the bar with it and and those types of things that allow us to do Small test batches of things in all of our lines. It's we're not just making beer. So we'll order ingredients for a whisky and then somehow full those into a beer or a seltzer. Or you know we'll get experience those agrees to where it's like a will open those channels and those relationships with suppliers and we'll have maybe an extra gallon or two behind the bar or like after production and then it allows like you said us to kind of get a little bit creative without as much risk involved opens up this whole big world to especially when you start diving into cocktails and things like that of the things that you guys can do here that other places. Maybe some other places can do. But just don't they don't think about. I don't like you guys. Seems like are always thinking about all of these different pieces and how they relate to each other feel like i could be wrong and i may get an email about being wrong but i feel like a lot of the places that are brewery distilleries. Brewery is a feel like they keep everything really separate and they're like these different machines operating kind of close to each other but you guys it. It overlaps a lot and even the different locations a fig-leaf for march i and soon to be wood-burning The way all of those kind of overlap each other and become part of the same thing but still have their own personality. I think is really really interesting in something that we were not seeing yet in cincinnati. Besides here we've tried to make that a habit even like going through in aging like the imperial stout in our own bourbon barrels right. Like that's not. A lot of people can do can do that so for us to have that flexibility even from that simple an example of using our own barrels to age are beer and using then that barrel to then age bourbon again for the stout cast bourbon. I mean yeah for sure. Like all of those pieces have to coincide for us to be to deliver the experience that we do in the tap. Room's how do you keep control over all of that in in like a Maybe logistical way of of understanding. Everything that's going on and how it can relate to each other and kind of keeping it from you know not going off the rails and tearing self apart spreadsheets and a lot of conversation. Yeah we we have a rigid friday morning. Which is the worst for me. Who's on the service side of things like friday mornings the worst When we're trying to get ready for the weekend but we have a rigid friday morning meeting. And from that spurs other meetings right like you know. The president of the company is is in that meeting with us and he meets with all the department heads and then we make a plan and then it's up to us then as managers to fulfill that plan and we there's been some stuff that's volunteer. Clap the cracks for sure But we've been where got a good team i think. That's that's the testament to is is between the two of us Josh bath you all these guys like we have talent at every level That you talented. Every level plus josh plus josh.

"To people. The team has to people. Top billed maggie q second. Build the doctor who's a gut health expert. That's i think she met this doctor and was like let's start a i love your stuff. Let's start a thing. So i actually kind of think that it feels who because she's talking about poop like she's like more like take a poop in the morning yay in the morning. I'm able to wake up early. I'm able to walk my dogs hike. My dog's going around and get to work on time. You know sustain throughout the day doll lines if it's a physical day able to still have the physicality and my mind sharp say all right. Let's talk about poop. I do think that this is like actually less who we because it seems like she met. This doctor became obsessed with his stick. And said let's start a company. Let's like sell up so when you do that. Unfortunately you have to start saying bowel movement. And she's come to terms with that. I regret to inform you that i'm calling about joshua bassett and Elevated them because as i'm sure you know joshua bassett mr released this song called live i li- i just watched the music video and i just wanna clear things up for people who might be coming in like totally uneducated unlike me as a high school musical series stan. Joshua bassett wrote this song like before he ever dated over there. We go so it's not about her. So my suspicion is that he like his team pressured him to release it because it would get more coverage because if you listen to the lyrics by themselves they sound like they kind of relate to their situation but it's not about her and the thing about it is. This song isn't even that good. It sounds like some knock off boy van song to sing by himself and he's good looking enough but like he is better songs. You can release. So i think this is all a pr son. That he's like his team is trying to take advantage of Libi watch we go is just rising above it anyway. I want everyone to know the truth. So like thinks. Olivia would li- li- okay. Oh my god hold about josh bath and living cheapo. Unlike soon after i call trash that has posted the humans in the hospital. He won wanna make clearer. Don't hate him. I hope he gets better. And i hope you're sleep happy. Her don't feel bad he's fine. He's fine and that song as fulop. Sorry and you're right. I think you're totally right about the kind of underhanded. Whatever because if you've listened to the song lila. You're like oh. This is kind of like a like a pushback to driver's license. But in actuality he wrote it way before the whole song even came out or whatever so it's not bad and he claims it's not about that which is interesting because if our him i would lean into it because the song is not good enough to sell itself and driver's licenses number one on the charts so if you're not going to ride off that energy then what's the point. That's what the caller suggests he was trying to do. He was trying to write off the energy but it didn't work because the song doesn't really make sense as a comment you know but then he came out and said. It's actually not about that. And i'm like why even admit that just like loon. Twin saline. just say nothing say nothing. Yeah well let us figure it out ourselves. They can't say nothing but yeah it's a flop of a song but her song and actually her song has kind of fully disengaged from him as a person from what i've seen it's like more about her and like really not about who it's about. It's about him which is so nice. It doesn't have to be about the guy. It's about livia. Oh it also like people don't need to harass him for no reason like let him just like live his life like let her song popular. I'm sure she doesn't give a shit anymore. She's like a number one song. No one even knew who i will. Never while livia lead has as the hooligan. Olivia who is constantly calling and like giving us such good gossip and commentary Shot out of libya should be in delaware calls with hi. It's olympia and i your number one libya to us but number two. Olivia taxing this to lindsey and lalanne novels and i was like i'm obsessed with the fact that the number one song in the world is bhai some girl named olivia. I don't wanna use the term girl next door but she so girl next door that you're just like us just some girl i love it. But that's why she was cast on high school musical the musical the show the show or whatever nine school musical musical the series but she was podcast in the vanessa hudgens girl next door situation. That was the architect. It's not dripping and celebrity. The way all of our pop stars are right now. That's it's novel and that won't last obviously because now she's so famous so happens when somebody comes out of nowhere like that. They're not like celebrity. It's like it's like when you come out of nowhere and you you get number one in everyone's like paying attention to you don't drip celebrity at. You're not like in that world yet. We should just enjoy it while we can. Because these things don't last they're not really meant to so olivia monod. Libya wild who. There's a new olivia in town. Have a good day at work. So things like that Which unfortunately we're we're very sad to not be able to support our crafts vendors right now but they understand Yeah so going forward. We are essential only until liberalized until the emergency orders lifted. I gather but right with collecting. Won't be anytime soon. Yeah that that's an in and I would think maybe I'll have to reach out to couple crafters next week and find out if there's a willingness to come on the show talk about their world but Boy I I know that You know when you go to the farmer's market in normal times You know a lot of times what you're looking at. There is a whole range of stuff that people are making the. Don't not food it's You know painted tiles at speeds and it's all sorts of Bowls and you know Other stuff that people are and I'm sure that For a lot of our our our craft workers in Vermont. These farmers markets are absolutely key to their annual revenues. And so on so and you mentioned technology earlier. That's also a great point because being in Vermont. It's a little bit tougher. Sometimes I mean as we know. I'm I'm sitting in my car on the side of the road so that we can A lot of it's you know. Thank you a lot of our vendors. Mega don't have the ability to do online ordering A lot of their fills maybe do. Direct sales may be over the phone or maybe by email if they have internet at home and a lot of our vendors. Don't so it's a tough time for a lot of people that can't be involved in the market or in the pickup location. It's difficult for them to reach their audience So another thing we're going to try to do is to get some funding to help them with adding up their own online ordering systems and teaching them how to do that. I wonder if there's a website that could be a virtual farmer's market where we're basically you go to this website and you say you know what this the following I want the following produce items and then the crafters could have their section of it where they have all their stuff on virtual display. And you kind of do it that way. A central location in other words for people who want to go to the farmer's market to go online and and Do the pre orders of produce. And maybe some mail order of of of of craft items and so on absolutely and we are working on that we are. Treasure happens to be very web debbie. She's helping us do a lot about Research there are quite a few companies out there that offer that program Unfortunately they all cost money. So your son's first and make it affordable for vendors. Oh Wow okay I'm sorry. Oh Yeah Back. Real quick Do you talk about how how we might come out of this. You know as a as a market at the end of this situation and I just wanted to say that. We have an incredible player. Area has just such a loyal base of customers. I mean the most incredible group of people who come may come in the rain they come into sleet and they come with their shopping bags and they and they buy stuff and it's I just wanted to put a shout out to all of our customers who have been so loyal to the years and I know well come back as soon as it's safe and able to it's a beautiful thing and we'll be back there before Before too long hanging there. It's about now I gotta I gotTa get done with my program for today. We're out of time. But Josh Karp Hannah Blackmore Kerry Ryan Jenny thank you so much for joining me this morning. "Two three hour. Maximum so child cannot be on site for two three hours. They can't legally feed your kid and they also can't legally change their diapers so it's a very short solution It's better than what is already out there. So if you know a company has childcare by itself license it's nothing yeah But it doesn't solve the real problem for people that really need to work for you know like the job or regular for a long period of time so To answer your question when you enter and boom there's going to be a separate space for the childcare. Which is the daycare component and then there is the work side which is no kits allow. It's going to be completely soundproof. That's all Josh Bath That's me I even thought about that. Yeah smart because you don't want to hear kids go if you're taking a business caller in the middle of meeting or whatever it is yeah. It's really important for us to not only prioritize kids. I mean that's the first and foremost and my partner Jonas you know. She's an amazing educator so she is creating this crazy curriculum Which is exciting. But for me I'm more so about the parent. Jones responsibility is really exciting into the kids and the programming and the curriculum for me. It's like figuring out what parents need and for me. What I know is that if I could hear my child or if I could if she or Dressy me then you count fully dial into your work. Yeah So true so that separation was very important by still be co located. So it's still the same building. It's still the same room. But it's completely separated with the soundproof walls. So no one can hear each other but there is going to be a space where the kids can have went with parents breakfast with the parents the area so essentially three areas. How many square feet is the first place going to be? The first place is five thousand square feet. Yeah it's great. Yeah and it's right next to Bloomingdale's at century city which were so excited about. Not sure how they are about US coming. Where are you kidding? You're gonNA bring so much business right. What's the minimum you can bring your kid? Therefore is their minimum no so fully or no maximum was so basically for the first location. You had to become a member so we don't want it to be kind of like a drop in go like anyway. His people yeah. Yeah we need to make sure that you know we really vet out the first few because five thousand square feet is not huge So the member the amount of membership that we could actually salads can be very limited So it's important that the people that are using the childcare they're actually full-on members And so let me kind of walk you through. Yes full days so like I say Allie. You have a full day of work but you need to. You want hit the gym before you get into work mode so you take your child because remember drop him off at the the center and then you go right across the street to equinox or fully licensed so you could go off site Come back and get dialed in for three hours. Get some work done. Oh and you're like oh it's twelve o'clock so I want to go see my son now. On how one truth go next door. Get lunch with him. Have a little class with him again and then get back to work mode for. Let's say another three hours and the new like oh I'm hungry or I won't coffee and you step out to go get coffee. Combat check in another class with him. And then let's say it's five. Pm Let's say you WanNa have a little girls might al than we have after care as well So it's open until ten PM. It's great we're Tom does open in the morning. I'M GONNA have to get back to you on that. Yeah it also pretty well defense. Mall rules them all. Yes you can basically stay as long as you want. And but in the minimum of you're like oh. I just need to pop for an hour because I know go need to do. I need to do some shopping. That's fine yeah yeah I mean if you're a member there's no minimum. There's no maximum yet. Such dream Yeah. It's really I mean. Obviously as you know but you know this was something that I can even an idea that I had years ago when my kids were babies because I was like why is there not a place like this and and you know there are. I feel like in other states because I had a friend who is from Texas and there was like more of this like drop in. They were in Super Nice. I mean that's the other thing I feel like. You're checking all these boxes. Because obviously I know you're setting and I know Josh's aesthetic and we know it'll look and feel great which is really want that when you're leaving your kid somewhere or like. I'm sure a lot of people you know we'll have meetings and stuff there. They wanted meet somebody who doesn't have a kid. Yeah but I. You know you're like I need to. I need to be here for three hours. Have this meeting catch up on email and do this and that and have somebody there so to do you know to have something like this. Just simply does not exist. It does end at the level that we you and I would want to right. 'cause there's places where they how bite houses where you could like drop off your kid and like work but for me and I'm sure with you because we're both kind of all about the aesthetic Matters really important to feel. Visually compelled and feel inspired at least by your surroundings. Two thousand percent of your best workout you know. I think that has always been something. That's super important for me. And that's why I spend a lot of time like building. My Office feel inspired because once they do the ideas come things flow. Like I'm able to really get in the zone whereas like if I'm in a corner with kids running around with like plastic toys and I just I count produce my best. I can get stuff done but we want to do beyond that. We want to inspire people to come to be able to train them to be able to really put their best work out there and also the fact that like you know socializing your kid like I believe in all that stuff. I think it's important and I. I did do daycare with my my kids when they were young and it was like a home daycare It's funny there was like Julia Roberts. Kids were there too. It was very random. Very national daycare. Yeah it was just a little house in Venice But when Julia Roberts already going there definitely changed the dynamic of Rossi. You're on a little different but you know that that the woman who ran it like didn't want the parents they're you know she was like drop your kid off and go be no because you know how it is and you have to leave a kid and they getting just and all of that. It's challenging. He it was like they were there all day. You know access or contact with them and you know. I didn't want that I wanted to like talk and see my kids. I mean I just I love this idea for so many reasons and and I think actually you know it's funny because we were not in century city driver is not in century city mall because for us it was like Pino driver. You need to be able to park outside. Run in and run out but I you know as I'm thinking about the more you're talking about it. I'm like man I could like. I have like lunch there and I could go shopping and then I could like get on my laptop and sit there. It's like it's such a great place. Little village it is. It's Great Yeah so smartly and like go to movie yeah doctors there now Forward is there. Yeah that's a great brand. Yeah so I mean I think. That's why a Westfield when So we have Khloe Call Caro on our team who I know chloe love power. Yes yeah that's right. She went to his field. Yeah so shake Louis. Hey chloe view when she came on board you know like a lot of things fall into place and she was like you know we could go to a Westfield could go to these big properties because they would be so excited because we're bringing a different type of traffic to them you know non all traffic of you know. Let's go shopping but it's a consumer that's GonNa come and stay all day. They'RE GONNA have to get lunch. They're GONNA get coffee they're going to have to. They're going to shop around for their kids so the movies whatever it is so there isn't some now salons in there now too. Yeah there's another Sephora. We do really good business. They're so mad is exciting. Yeah so what's been the. You know the I know you just raised a bunch of money. what's been you know. How many years are you how? How long have you guys been out this like working on it so I had this idea for four years but really fully added for the past year and a half and Joan is your partner? You mentioned her. So what are you know the different things that you enjoy and just you two right now? Yeah so we're equal co-founders and for me as I was re friends before Yes verifone's before we actually known each other for thirteen year great. We weren't like best friends. I've always respected her from afar and same with her life. So as I was like developing this business. I realized that I couldn't do it alone. And it some things art. Yeah I knew I needed to find a partner. That was good at the things that I wasn't GonNa and you know how that is always hear your story with Michael. Allow you know what you guys are both good at an just makes total sense. I could really focus on the things that I am really good Which is more of the marketing side and you know just be more creative and for her. She is an operator and for me. That's very I can become an operator but I'm not great at it. Yeah Yeah But she is so great audit she builds nuts and bolts. Yeah yes very much. So she built up. Being Five Thousand Education Company recently. Left that to run this fulltime with me So she was just the perfect partner for us and then we brought in Khloe. She pretty much handles all things like real estate for us. That's amazing yeah. So what's been the biggest thing that's been the biggest challenge for you? So far we're shooting. They'll be a whole another set of challenges when she opened the business. But we're not there yet so well there's been a lot and thankfully because of you and Michael we've kind of. There's been a lot of angels that have been guiding us and I remember when I first called jobs like I have those good idea and you're like I love it you know and I was like yes and then it is nice when you start telling people your idea and then you get like people who opinions matter to you and they think it's a great idea it does give you this boost of like okay. Good we're going the right like yeah. Keep doing this. Yeah and then I remember US calling you guys actually no. We were talking with Mike on so incredible we were in San Francisco for our very for that round. A investor meetings and journey were so excited that we got in the door. With so many amazing people you guys introduced to a few and then a few of our other advisers and introduced us to like some of the biggest investors and We soon realized that we had a lot of work to do. After those set of meeting. And you know we've been fundraising for we were fundraising for all eight months out here. We just couldn't figure out why people aren't giving us money but then literally within the last three months we kind of figured it out. Yeah Yeah where did you figure out? Well we had to tweak the business model quite a bit and make it more agile Also the whole idea of you know we work that happen and so we had to really hone in on kind of the back and You know work you know. We're we're not taking on these big leases like this is not that place a really reflecting that in the business model because I think a lot of these investors they were kind of comparing a we were with childcare and so I think that was like once we tweak that model to reflect that it is not like that then people got it. People fall a lot more comfortable with this so that being one and two. It's so funny it's just when we're fundraising were like. Oh you guys can think about it and we realized that the more time you give some more time to take the more time they take but literally once we found our our lead investor and we had like a hard date when we actually had to close that's when people were responding. Yeah and so. It's almost like a fear boss of you know like you're afraid to tell them you know..

"The smartest way to hire our I fire nation. We are back. And I'm going to pass the mic over to Josh Bath. Hourly who's going to be dropping some unbelievable knowledge about paying your kids and fire nation. Even if you don't have kids there's some knowledge in here for you but but don't go anywhere no matter what because as I teased in the intro myself and Caitlyn be talking about an amazing challenge we want to do with as many of you fire nation as are are willing. There's going to be prizes. It's going to be contest is going to be giveaways so much more so stick around to hear how you can be a part of that in the upcoming weeks Josh. Gosh take it away so John. Last month we talked about the possibility of paying your spouse as an employee in Your Business and it was a great question from podcast Castro Paradise member and this month we had a great follow up question from podcasters paradise member asking. What about paying your kids from the business and for those who've listened to last month tip read last month tip you saw that there are only a few cases where paying your spouse made sense strictly from a tax perspective and it typically only makes sense if you wanted to contribute to their retirement account? Meaning you already Max out your retirement account you still have more money to contribute you want to contribute beat here spouses in which case giving them payroll will allow you to do that. Otherwise you're probably going to spend more in taxes than than any money you would possibly save but foot pain. Your kids could present a significantly larger opportunity to save money on taxes for several different reasons. I if your child is under the the age of eighteen and your business owned solely by you and or your spouse meaning they had had no has no other owners except you and your husband or wife Right. If that's that's the case they're under eighteen years of the owners. You do not have to withhold social security and Medicare taxes on their wages so those payroll taxes that everyone has to pay. Even you have to pay roane salary. Fifteen point two percent completely wiped out in that scenario if your kids under eighteen you guys are the only owners. That's a huge advantage right from the start. Furthermore furthermore if you pay them less than their standard deduction which is twelve thousand two hundred dollars for two thousand nineteen they will. Oh no taxes whatsoever on that money okay. So they'll will that. The standard deduction will wipe out their wages. They'll oh no taxes they'll oh no payroll taxes and then finally you're GonNa get to deduct that amount paid from your business us all right. So essentially you're taking up to twelve thousand two hundred dollars per kid from your business paying it to them and wiping off of your taxable income with no taxes to them and I know this is probably seems too good to be true. I'm not too good to be true. But as with any good tax strategy Eh. There are several things you have to make sure you're doing right and the first thing is you have to make sure that they are getting paid the proper amount based on their age type of work they're doing etc if you have a two year old you can't go out and pay them twelve thousand dollars say that they're cleaning your office or the IRS has commonsense wants to know that you did not that no two year olds GonNa Make Thousand Dollars Not GonNa pay clean your office look at their age typically you want them to be seven under older before you start doing this. There could be scenarios if you're going to try and count them out as a model or something with that gets very dangerous. Make sure that they are actually working. That what you're paying them is reasonable for the job. They're doing and make sure that you're documenting all this all right so if you kids fourteen and you're having him clean your office for you once a week and you say that's where twelve thousand dollars. Well just be sure that the twelve thousand dollars is the going rate to clean your office once a week for anybody else okay. Okay so make sure. It's reasonable the second thing you have to watch what type of entity your businesses because if your taxes an S. corporation which most profitable small businesses are then. You will have to set up a few other things to be able to waive those Medicare taxes social security taxes are. You can't pay them directly from the escort because that feature does not apply to escorts so what a lot of people do is create some type of management company that is an LLC. A escort pays yellow. See which kids it sounds complicated. It's worth Earth if you're going to pay your kids a decent amount of money but you have to hire a tax professional. Maybe even attorney to make sure it's done properly and finally need to make sure that everything is done properly as far as paying in your kids. Okay so including filling out those payroll tax returns and I know you're probably thinking. Why do I have to do that? You just said I don't have to pay taxes you still have to file the payroll tax returns. Turns so if you don't already you're going to want to hire an actual payroll company to do this. We always recommend our clients. He's Gusto online super easy of use but any of them will work. You have to make sure that they understand that these are your kids. They're under eighteen. And that you were the only owners. So they qualify for not withholding payroll taxes. But if you do that they'll be able to take care of everything else. All the proper forms will be filed to me. This is not something you want to try to yourself. You're gonNA miss something and you're going to jeopardize the whole move and probably cost yourself more than you save all right so those are the three things. Make sure you're paying them a reasonable wage. Make sure you're doing it properly based on your entity and make sure everything's filed properly. If you do those three things things and you have kids under eighteen you can have a significant tax savings opportunity here. And what's more your kids now have earned income so you can turn around and put that into a roth. Ira You can put that into a five twenty nine for the future. College needs okay. So you're paying the money you're saving on taxes and your potentially Z.. Creating retirement or college savings for them at a very young age. I mean could you imagine being twelve years old and and someone contributing to a roth. IRA for you through. Throughout your entire childhood be amazing the great headstart this the opportunity you have to do for your kids if you do this properly save taxes for you..

"It. I think the first match I took a regular video and I was going to post them later. Yeah then like after that I was like now I'm not doing it so sorry anybody who was looking for that so hope I think the Odeon has better better reception it does I've been there before receptions so so yet tired and all that but Josh Prohibition Matt Cross so excited for this fucking match and the thing that I love is twenty eight years together and they go together so well like Joshua's and Russell as much but I felt like it was a smooth match and it wasn't it wasn't dragged down. How'd you guys feel about it good to see Josh Bath for the first time since absolution solution yeah? I'm pretty stained thing last week but it's it's weird not having him on shows yeah yeah I was. I was excited to see a back to especially in a mash of this caliber. You know this was another match where wear and by this point. We've all been in that room for a decent amount of time forever but this was the other match where I thought the crowd was a little dead at times yeah. It was I._R._A.. Noticeable at times here which is sad because is this match was really fucking good. I mean how does match because I'm wonder how many late I won't say non wrestling fans like how many outside fans came to this show just for Cross for prohibition. Pardon me yeah I don't know I mean you say that. It was the first time his dad ever seen him Russell Yep. That's I remember when he said that. I'm like that's fucking crazy. Yeah again how it can happen. Though man the twentieth anniversary come see me Russell. Okay fine sure I'll come but yeah that was that whole part I mean at the end of the match to not really fast forward through it but when they both got on the Mike or just goes taper they got on the Mike but Still <hes> Jaber on his daughter like I thought that was really cool and there was no matter like who won that matches it like a proud moment between friends and we did have Graham across like we mentioned earlier and I was really really happy about that. She didn't really really get involved. She took her spot which no matter where she sitting she tries to get up to the barricade now when end-all comes out but that's the only thing I really noticed armored but it was just like I said a fun back and forth between the two and she did run up to the ring. Yeah I feel bad for grandma across. You never gets to see Matt Win like us not done a lot of winning day I W in the last couple years false I think m dog one and the match and power bomb Iraq. I think you WanNa can't remember Graham across being hilarious that day. Just that does a big false. Ask a W. O. W. Ring The ad don't count it was eight in the morning should know how can you imagine show at eight eight in the morning. No no I had it's fucking ideas of maybe doing that that year and then got lugging Shit House drunk the night before it was like no I'm Gonna I'm GonNa Sleep now yeah yeah. I'm the only idiot that did it like of us. There were other idiots there yeah I've seen pictures there was it wasn't just like you. They didn't have to superimpose among other people said before said again. I did it just to live out like the fraction of a dream that used to have so fine. I was happy with that but anyway no. You're not going to justify shit. I just know why there oh trust me eat in the morning. When I woke up I was regretting it? I I don't remember what time it got to sleep. I don't remember how much sleep I got. It probably on a couple hours I ran to the gas station grabbed a bunch of monsters till I like drank that day. Dude I don't know what the angle was late for you guys on the finish for this match but from where I was sitting it looked like he brained him through that table and it was gross and it wasn't until I saw the video from other angles where I was like. Oh No fact it looks so disgusting I'm from my angle. It was so good and it was just prohibition went in via drunken driving through table which was a fantastic playoff to this match like this match bill right like it was yeah it was like a really well laid out match like had different segments to it and there was no period where they were outside and against the rails chopping each other <hes> match was great. Everybody should watch that match like get tons of other good shit that happened on the shell flying but wash this yeah. It's a great match and I fucking hope that whoever is doing the fucking g C._W.. Backyard show on the fourth of July gets these fuckers Walker to go back to the backyard as soon as they announced it or Aka you through dinner chats when I first seen it. That's the first two people came to mind like O.. J. Pros been getting in shape lately. They're having this twentieth anniversary met. Ah Come on this is whether it's them to again or whether it's euthanasia it has to happen yeah. I just like there's something poetic about those two twenty years later after being the the the literal poster boys or backyard rats to then workless G C W backyard show I feel like is it's just writes itself to eat now like needs to happen. That's the hottest chicken of summer man out how you get them by two that ship but I'm jealous wanted. Does I'm jealous every single mother fucker who gets to go you do all right. Are we ready for the main event ain't going for the gold yeah should should we go through entrance one by one Oh fuck man. We've been on your longtime already. <hes> I mean we don't have to go into details. I mean there's like this certain highlights we could stop at you know it started off with off Manse Warner and the return of Joey Vanilla which goes back to reactions pat all fucking nuts. This is also the weirdest and this is a bold bucket statement this the weirdest Joe each Nella match ever seen the full. The full length of the gotten for the goal is the weirdest Joey Gisela match. I've ever seen yeah so many things happen so many little things happened during this match catch. It's it's so good and there are things that happened that like I'm sure there are things I didn't see. There are things that people on the other side of the room wouldn't have seen like little things like when he wasn't in the ring just like the weird shitty was doing it was so good yet moment with an infant son had newborn show you punched pat. He punched other fans beaten up fans Crowley. He ran around with a spike in and <hes> did someone's entrance with them later with that. That's another highlight entrant. The big thing for view is genetics like he was having a lot of fucking fun. Yeah he was glad to be master Yeah Yeah. You looked like he was having a lot of fuck inside and you know what mania weekend you looked like. He was having fun but he looked like you like zero stress. Would he do wrong. It's time to take a power bomb through a skateboard. Yes yeah Tom that ever again. Did he get eliminated onto a skateboard. He got throat. You did a skateboard spot where you went over the top rope landed on escape or skiing at around and go back in Iraq okay because if that happened on my side of the ring he has about say it was away from us. Look like Oh we got eliminated but then he's like skating was like Okay Yep landed on Steve Org entrance number eleven dominant Greenie number twelve P._b.. Smooth Thirteen Philly Collins. "Post. The match was happening has looking through the results I go oh I fucked up the next match was an Dogma Cross versus Josh Prohibition Ako Vein Event of the evening a twentieth anniversary match of these as to and I'll give you a pass one forgetting because I was also real tired still yeah it was inbetween being tired and like it being this match. I was just excited to like watch. I think everyone is really excited because also I didn't mention this and <hes> it was halfway my bad. I didn't take any instagram videos only because I think last time at this venue they got fucked up. They got released in like a random water because it's not great signal. Oh boy so the tweets can go through fairly quick but when you're trying to send out a fifteen second video and then another fifteen second video another fifteen second video in a minutes worth of fifteen second videos in a row I yeah it just clogs up and fuck shit up so I didn't do it. I think the first match I took a regular video and I was gonNA post them later. Yeah then like after that I was like Nah. I'm not doing it so sorry anybody who was looking forward to that so hope I think the Odeon has better reception and it does I've been there before receptions pretty good so so yet tired and all that but Josh Prohibition Matt Cross so excited for this fucking match and the thing that I love is twenty years years together and they go together so well like Josh Russell as much but I felt like it was a smooth match and it wasn't it wasn't dragged down. How'd you guys feel about it good to see Josh Bath for the first time since absolution you shouldn't yeah I'm pretty stained thing last week but it's it's weird not having him on shows yeah yeah I was? I was excited to see a back to especially in a match of this calibre a you know. This was another match where in by this point. We've all been in that room for a decent amount of time forever but this was the other match where I thought the crowd was a little dead at times yeah. It was noticeable at times here which was sad because this match was really fucking. Good I mean how could this match not be good. I'm wonder how many late I won't say non. Wrestling fans like how many outside fans came to this show just for Cross for prohibition and I don't know I mean. Didn't you say that it was the first time his dad ever seen him Russell Yep. That's I remember when he said that. I'm like that's fucking crazy. Yeah again how it can happen. Though man has late twentieth anniversary come see me Russell okay fine and everybody else sure I'll come but yeah that was that whole part I mean at the end of the match to not really fast forward through it but well when they both got on the mic or just goes in shape okay I got on the mic but still <hes> and when Jay his daughter like I thought that was really cool and it was no matter like who won their matches it like a proud moment between friends and we did have Graham across like we mentioned earlier and I was really really happy about that. She didn't really really get involved. She took her spot which no matter where she sitting she tries to get up to the barricade now when endo comes out but that's the only thing I really noticed her but it was just I was just like I said a fun back and forth between the two and see she did run up to the ring. Yeah I feel bad for grandma cross. You never gets to see Matt Win like he has not done a lot of winning day I W in the last couple of years false I think M Dogg won the match and power bomb Iraq. I think you when I can't remember Graham across being hilarious that day just that does the big a false as I saw a I W O w ring the ad don't count it was eight in the morning Shit. Don't cow okay. Can you imagine Donald Show at eight in the morning. No no I had fucking ideas of maybe doing that that year and then got lugging Shit House drunk the night before it was like no I'm GonNa. I'M GONNA sleep out yeah. I'm the only idiot that did it like I mean there. Were other idiots there. I've seen pictures there was it wasn't just like they didn't have to superimpose among other people said before said again. I did it just to live out like the fraction of a dream that I used to have so fine. I was happy with that but anyway no. You're not going to justify shit. I just know I was there. Oh trust me eat in the morning. When I woke up? I was regretting it. I don't. I don't remember what time I got to sleep. I don't remember how much sleep I got it. Probably on a couple of hours I ran to the gas station grabbed a bunch of monsters and it's all I drank that day dude. I don't know what the angle was late for you guys on the finish for this match but from where I was sitting it looked like he brained him through that table and it was it was gross and it wasn't until I saw the video from other angles where I was like. Oh no back me up. It looks so disgusting from my angle it was so good and it was Josh prohibition went in via drunken driver through table which was a fantastic playoff to this match this match bill right like it was yeah it was like really well laid out match like had different different segments to it and there was the whole period where they were outside and against the rails chopping each other <hes> match was great. Everybody should watch that match like get tons of other good shit that happened on the shell fine but watch this. It's a great match and I fucking hope that whoever is doing the fucking g C._W.. Backyard show on the fourth of July gets these fuckers offers to go back to the back yard as soon as they announced it or Aka you through dinner chats when I first seen it. That's the first two people came to mind like O.. J. Pros been getting in shape lately. They're having this twentieth anniversary met. Komo this is whether it's them to again or whether it's euthanasia it has to happen yeah. I just like there's something poetic about those two twenty years later after being the the poster boys for backyard rats to then work miss g C._W.. Backyard show I feel like is it just writes itself to eat now like it needs to happen. That's the hottest ticket of summer man. I'll get an invite to that ship but I'm jealous wonder does I'm jealous every single motherfucker who gets to go it is you do all right. Are we ready for the main event going for the gold yeah should should we go through entrance one by one Oh fuck man. We've been on your longtime already. <hes> I mean we don't have to go into details. I mean there's like this certain highlights we could stop at you know it started off with Manse Warner and the return of Joey Vanilla which goes back to reactions Pat Owens fucking nuts. This is also the weirdest and this is a bold bucket statement. This is the weirdest Joe each match watch. I've ever seen the full. The full length of the goblet for the goal is the weirdest Joey Jamila match. I've ever seen at yeah so many things happened so many little things happened during this match wjr. It's it's so good and there are things that happened that like I'm sure there are things I didn't see. There are things that people on the other side of the room wouldn't have seen like little things like when he wasn't in the ring just like the weird shitty was doing it was so good yet moment with an infant. Someone had a newborn show you punched pat you punched other fans beaten up fans rally. He ran around with a spike in they did someone's entrance with them later man with that. That's another highlight entrant. The big thing for you is genetic like he was having a lot of fucking fun yeah. He was glad to be master yeah. It looked like he was having a lot of fucking side and you know what mania weekend. He looked like he was having fun but he looked like he like zero stress. Just having fun knows that he can do whatever the fuck you wants to basically it just it was great so far and shirt number three Eric Ryan number four Eddie only number five t money number six Zach Thomas Number Seven Marina Tenaglia number eight highlight hi white woman nation by the way I I didn't what was that elimination because it was me Dr Marino okay yeah. "And so we're back with Dr Louis, hopefully. And Dr Lewis. Yep. You do I haven't haven't run away yet. Good. Thank you. So we have some more questions for you. I cut him off line, right? When we were leaving for. I cut you off because we had one more commercial break there that I blamed on hope over there on the other side of the screen. What was that conversation that I interrupted now I forgot? We were talking about like what are well. The question was more about mood change. Thank you. Concussions know, which kinda wanted to lead me down the line of talking about you know, what? Yeah. So look I always kind of not pick on kinda target teenagers and particularly not just the teenagers. But moms, I 'cause I'm convinced moms and wives can change the world. So. Oh, really? Josh bath. But you know, so what are look for, you know, the obvious ones. Absolutely hell that somebody had a big blow to the head and all that. That's that's obvious. But sometimes you don't know sometimes it happened at practice and the kid didn't tell anybody. And now you've got a teenager who's become moody in your edible, and maybe even a personality change and that should be a red flag. The other red flag is kid is doing really well on schooling straight a student who now all of a sudden struggling in class and or even failing classes another big red flag. But I'll say, you know, typically what I say when we're looking at you know, what the? One of the issues with chronic. Getting better. Then it's really three big ones that kind of stand out a lot headaches are really common, but even more common is just sorta overwhelming fatigue and rainfall just think always describe it is like having a head cold without the word. He knows when you don't feel like doing it. And you just want to crawl back in bed. You can't think you don't wanna thank you. So it's like a head cold without the runny nose is the way I describe it. So. No, I just in reading your biography and things I I really, and I know Dr does to appreciate your passion to bringing awareness to the general public of you know, of these signs to look forward to about the dangers of concussions and brain injuries. One thing. We haven't talked about yet that you point out in your book is that traumatic brain injury is the number one cause of future dementia. That's a little unsettling. Even more even more settling. There's reason research that comes out that says that, you know, having a concussion doubles the risk of somebody committing suicide. Okay. And you have done, of course. Because that's I'm sure where your heart lies you've done a lot of work with veterans. Did you kind of piece this together? And look at it. Because I've often just had the discussion with family are acquaintances that the the suicide rate among veterans is high. And why didn't we see that as much, you know, after World War One or something like that? Do you think there's this link with poor eating habits? So we start out with a brain. That's not all that great. Then they go to battle. They get the concussion. Nobody really pays enough attention to treating it properly. And now, they're more prone for depression, and and suicidal thoughts. Is there a big link there? I think there's two things that that kind of intersect. There one is that you know, you're talking about battlefield injuries. You know, what we're able to serve the survival rate of the last twenty thirty years on on the battlefields in the Middle East. And and so on. Are so much improved from World War One World War, Two Korea. Vietnam now, we get to the Gulf wars. And and and you know, Iraq and Afghanistan, and the the body armor, protection so much better and were and the evacuation procedures so much better that people are surviving that previous wars never would've survived..
