"But in fact, 27 of the 30 trends that we're seeing on Twitter right now are dedicated to the inauguration. And there are some personality is getting a lot of attention right now. I would draw your attention to a couple trends right now. Eugene Goodman. You'll recall that he's the Capitol police officer who kept lawmakers safe during the mob attack on January 6th. He's the one who escorted vice president Kamila Harris. He came out to a cheering crowd and the folks on Twitter absolutely loving it. His name is trending and Officer Goodman is trending as well. And, of course, Twitter loves entertainment. So you see, Lady Gaga you C J Lo, Jennifer Lopez. Of course. You see Garth Brooks Trending A rod is trending as well. And this is a fun one. David. Robin Net is trending, of course, the president's middle name, which leads me to believe that many people who are watching the ceremony today are perhaps finding out that they are in Joseph R. Biden Jr stands for Robinette. Oh, I love that. I love that these things were large about domestic issues at the same time. We're all conscious of the whole world, literally watching what goes on particularly like what happened in January. 6. Are you getting any sense of how maybe people around the world are reacting? Is there a difference overseas? There is and you know I want to bring up Ursula von Dir Lions tweet. She's of course, the president of the commission. She's weighed in, and this one is really striking. And for those of us who are listening on the radio right now, she tweeted a gift that says a fresh start, and it's an image of the U flag sort of embracing the American flag, she says. Congratulations Joe Biden on being sworn in as president of the United States, and Kamila Harris, the first woman vice president of the U. S. Thank you for your inspiring inaugural address and for the offer to cooperate, Europe is ready for a fresh start. And I should know, too, that the prime minister of Israel weighing in on his account, Benjamin Netanyahu, in fact, thanking President Trump earlier today, for all the great things in quotes that he's done great things that you've done for Israel, especially your historic recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital and bringing four peace agreements between Israel and the Arab world. He did also tweeted congratulatory note and video to President Biden and President Vice President Harris and then Barack Obama, weighing in as well with a picture of his old friend Joe Biden, their arms around one another, he says. Congratulations to my friend, President Joe Biden. And this is your time. That's nice. That's particularly thank you so much, Tim. Great to have you with us. That's Bloomberg. Quick takes anchor Tim Stenkovic needs to stay on the subject of overseas. Welcome now. Richard Haass. He's president of the Council on Foreign Relations. Richard Thank you so much for being with us. You saw most of it was about domestic issues. But President Biden now President Biden went on his way to say America's come back stronger and we will rebuild our alliances. You've been outspoken on that subject under the Trump administration. How difficult will that be? Little take some time. But today was a good start, David because this projected an image of a very familiar, reassuring America bipartisan Um, resolute. I think this will this. This is all good, but it will take time. I think At the back of every allies. Head is the concern over whether this divided country can be there for them, and also what times in four years to put it bluntly. How are they to understand where America is in the ark of its history, where the last four years the aberration and this is now the restoration of the normal or will it turn out that the last four years were a harbinger? We'll have four years of Joe Biden. But then we got then we're going to return to some version of Trumpism with or without the man. And that's the question mark that Mr Trump planted around the world rich I want if there's one place in which we shouldn't really expect too much of a deviation because we did here in the confirmation testimony from Tony Lincoln, and he seemed to indicate maybe they would be just as tough on China as President. Trump had been in by the way. Janet Yellen, the nominee for Treasury, also had some harsh things to say about China. I think they'll be more consistency than that difference there. David, You're exactly right. I think it reflects a shift in American thinking about China. It's a bipartisanship. Much more critical, much more skeptical. But this is a very different China. This issues in things China, it's more repressive at home. Economically. It's not evolved in ways that people expected or hoped for that stronger militarily. It's much more sort of diplomatically. So I think you're going to get you're going to get a much more pushback from the United States. Richard. I just want to follow up on what David just asked you because I was struck by those confirmation hearings as well. And do you see you said you don't see much of a stark difference, but we did see some exchanges yesterday, and I wonder if your feet getting the sense that we're going to see any trouble with any of these Cabinet nominees. In the national security realm. I'm thinking in particular some of the pushback from Josh Holly on the Department of Homeland Security. That won't be fast track. Do you first see any other challenges there with these nominees in that arena? I think the one potential awkward one could be general Austin not because soon man simply because of the need for a waiver, giving his military recent military service and there's acute sensitivity right now to civilian control. These air like these air veteran capable hands, whether it's Toni Blake Jenner or Janet Yellen or Avril Haines to Deanna Bill Burns at CIA to these, they're not partisan. Untested figures, so I think it most of these get get through despite Senator Holly Richard, This is Rick Davis in Washington. Thanks for being on the program with us today, and I wanted to get back to sort of the global point of view because you're right. I mean, I've spent a lot of time travel around the world and where there's a lot of questions, but heads of state over sort of what is the ark of the U. S. And obviously, I think Biden leaned into that President Biden. Leaned into that by talking about re engagement and and by the power of our example, I think was his quote. And what would those examples be in the near term? I mean, what would you like to see this administration do Either through his Cabinet members of the president or the vice president to actually try to get back in the game and re established that kind of global trust. The biggest thing would be competence and progress versus covert 19 might be the single most important national security statement the United States could make, I think Rebooting. To some extent, the American economy, American economic growth would be welcome The demonstration that our politics our institutions can hold. You will have the United States reenter. Various international orations. We left the Paris climate accords the World Health Organization, and there will be a big emphasis on simply talking to allies to consultations and that suggests multilateralism, which basically puts an end to two things. Pushing into America acting on its own in the world, which was something that Mr Trump's stood for, and it also puts them into the bias towards isolationism. So this will be an administration that will lean into diplomacy and foreign policy and will lead into a collective approach. And I think, for the most part that will be welcome. Richard to borrow hacking expression from an old car commercials. I recall this ain't your father's world anymore. I mean, what gave rise to the post World War? Two structures doesn't obtain anymore, So it's not just about her going backward, right?.

"Is now my great privilege and high honor to be the first person to officially introduce the 46, president of the United States. Joseph R. Biden Jr. Those the words of the senator from the state right next to US, Minnesota Amy Klobuchar, somebody who I thought that could actually have been the choice for vice president for our newest president, Joe Biden, Number 46. On the great list of American presidents, and we watched as you were listening to the ceremony and the great speeches. The great musical we actually we dumped out of coverage there. But Garth Brooks just got a heck of an ovation from folks that in Washington, D. C. I'm a huge cars book's fan, but J. Lo was a part of its and, of course, Lady gaga to sing the national anthem. A couple things real quick. Just listen to the president's speech. And obviously this is one of those moments and every one of these speeches is, of course, historic and everyone is unique. The famous words that came out of president 45 Donald Trump, who is now a former president. As of about 18 minutes ago. American carnage is how he ended that that speech on a lot of people said What does he mean by that? What we saw the last four years play out and earlier in the program City before we joined the coverage. I talked about the successes and some of the failures of the former now former president, But the president, the new president, Joe Biden, used words like Unity. And I would say to that one easily said much harder to accomplish. And we know that's what I was working on a piece for next week on the show about that idea of unity and coming together and bipartisanship in all those those things. We talk about an inauguration time, but we don't always deliver on. In fact, we rarely do Hyper partisan nature of our state government here in Wisconsin. Divided governments. Interesting qualifier, though in the case of incoming President Joe Biden is he doesn't have divided government. He has a Senate that flipped Yeah, some of that foot. He has a house that has a slim Democratic majority and, of course, the Democratic president, so he is not facing challenges that other presidents have faced. Other moments that stuck out that stood out for me. The words like this, we must end this uncivil war, of course, playing on one of the nation's our nation's pivotal moments in the 18 sixties Uncivil war and that speaks to The dialogue we have in this country every day. If you listen to show you've heard me talk about the nature of conversation. And not to get too far into the weeds of what I think is is good Discords this course vs Messy, ugly. Waste the time discourse, which is basically people who do what I do, whether they're on TV or radio, saying things Cause they know they know their audience likes them. But they know in fact that the things they're saying either aren't true or are meant to be inflammatory. That's the nature of what we've seen in public discourse for last 20 or 30 years. And in our nation's history, we saw a play on newspapers. Like that, And now it's instantaneous. Immediate way see the impact of social media. So saying you want to unite the nation and saying you want to see the end of the uncivil war is a great promise and great hope doesn't get us to that reality. I'm thinking about that sentence of the speech in the context of what's going to play out in the center of the next few weeks. We know that the former President Donald J. Trump was impeached for the second time first president our nation's history to be impeached the second time And now he faces trial in the Senate. And if you listen to the words of then majority leader soon to be minority leader, Mitch McConnell This may not be an easy goal for this president. There are some reports that Mitch McConnell never wants to speak to this president again. Former president. Stunning declaration. From a senator who worked closely with President Donald J. Trump to accomplish the things that he wanted to accomplish tax reform. Immigration policy. Economic measures that The president's words. Saw the best economy in our nation's history. Don't think this is a slam dunk for the president not to be convicted. It's not anywhere close to that. And we need 17 my rough count. They already have six or seven. That's not even counting Mitch McConnell. And his ability to swing that votes. Which as minority leader, he could either be actively working on or say it's out of my hands. You do what you want. A lot of people think that the latter is the choice. 85561616 20. We'll spend the rest of the hour talking about the speech. I clipped out a few other Um, phrases and words of the new president. She'll buy and using his speech, so I think, address a lot of the questions that we have as Americans talking about the pandemic and the economy. Immigration. You saw it in the flavor of the other day. Very much of the diverse audience. First group of speakers. And performers. That's Joe Biden's reality. The question is, is that America's reality and that means all of us. We'll get to that and more after the break right here, WTMJ. You're listening to the Steves Graffiti show on.

"Thank you for tuning in to the very best of rustling hunt. Five. They have it. A big thank you to Joe Biden in the DNC for handing Donald J. Trump His second term as president of the United States. The pick is N The vice presidential nominee on the Democratic ticket. The running mate for Joseph R. Biden is Camilla Kamala Tomato, Tomato, Harris. Russell 105 50 K. Why, Thanks for being here It is a huge announcement. And of course, it was Joe Biden's applesauce time so they couldn't pull him out to make an actual announcement Today. They just wanted to get all the hype all the news media out there and get everybody buzzing about it before they drag Joe Biden out or do this virtually And have the first combo. I don't know. Press event with Joe Biden in Kamala Harris. This time, Joe Biden was seen with another human being was 2017. They'll be doing that tomorrow and we'll see if they'll be wearing masks and social distancing. This is going to be a complete you know what show Kemal Harris is probably one of the worst. Choices for Joe Biden. I was not a fan of snoozing Rice because she was absolutely sleepy as sleepy as he is, but she was absolutely qualified to be the vice president of the United States From a dead democratic standpoint, her pedigree was there She was a chip shot. I mean, she has all of the resume. Kamala Harris Kamala Harris. She is Truly what the Democrats don't want. Look, this is what it is. Democrats playing like they care about black people. This is all this decision is, Let's just call it what it is. We talk like grownups here. We walk you through the history of the Democrats in the black part and black people and how they've used their votes since the sixties, Lyndon Johnson said it best. I can't even repeat what he said, because it was so stupidly offensive. He was gonna have the blanks Voting Democrat for 50 years, and that's what the Democrats have done. So now they know Joe Biden, who has made a several racially insensitive at best, if not racist comments over the 52 years he spent in Washington to despite the fact that he served as vice president for the first black president continues to do so. You can't get of his own way. So this is the Democrats say, Hey, African American voters. Hey, we got to come still vote for us. That's all This is This is a systematically racist party being systematically racist with this pick. Andrea Mitchell from MSNBC was speaking with Senator Coons and on this, the potential of it being a Harris. Pick o or it could have been a bass pick. It could have been a Susan Rice pick. But just so you understand that the DNC is operating on pressure from the press the media, the cable news media Not the actual best chance to win this thing. Here it is, You said, it's will make history. There have been women running mates before Sarah Palin, Geraldine Ferraro. The only way it would really make history is if it is a black woman. There it is. Wait the on ly Way, telling one of a very high ranking member of the Senate on the Democratsside the On ly Way. That Joe Biden's pick would make history is if it is a black Czech woman check. It's like sports statistics. Mike When you think about it, you know, there's always history when it comes to sports statistic. Tom Brady is the only quarterback to throw a pass right handed and left handed in a game. They just make up statistics all the time. That's what we're doing with history. So we've had to vice presidential nominees that were ladies. We've had a black president. He was a male. So now we get to combine those two like a three. The media loves talking about history. Look, all I care about the end of the day. Who's going to let me keep most of my money? And who's no, not have government. Alabama business clearly not these two candidates. History aside, not them. Yes, is the answer. The Here's just the background. Now, you know, we're entrenched in a In some cities and uproar. Some cities rioting A call A CZ faras Sports are concerned professionally here in the United States, a call for change in social justice and policing and in black justice. Commander Kamala Too many tomato Here's is the worst choice if you want to fit that narrative from the Democratic side. How about this when she heard just her time in California as the attorney general state of California. He took over there was a 50.3% felony conviction rate. When she took over Know for one of two cases, one out of every two cases. Convicted felony conviction rate rose to 53.2105 65.5 in 06, the highest in a decade. The Falcon felony conviction rate continued to rise, reaching 76%. In 09. Now she was riding a wave of whose crime bills. Terabytes. Joseph R. Biden is crime bills. So when you talk about the president of the United States, the current president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, Was the first president to get something done in this regard. To get a criminal justice bill passed To actually do something to help this nonsense. Those two have combined as the super duo of locking in incarcerating black men. Locking up in incarcerating black men. That is, that's their legacy. And there in this time, this chapter this page in our nation's history now running for president and vice president, United States, it's almost comical. I guess like if you're going to look at it from a Democrat standpoint is, if you're trying to dismantle the racist system that America has created, you got to put the two people that helped create the system in place to undo it. It only makes sense because they know all the mechanisms and all the tools so they know Where to turn the wrench toe, loosen it up a little bit. But not only did Joe Biden create the system, he bragged about it in the seventies eighties and nineties, bragged about it and Aristide too. The only way Harris was goingto actually rise in her profession. Politics district attorney to senator was by putting people in jail And she used the Joe Biden crime bill to do just that and had a relationship with a married, You know, San Francisco City councilor Or whatever with Brando Big deal on a man as politics. It is definitely is politics. Joe Biden. Just just so you know where his head is. Well, I apologize. No one really knows where his head is. Where his head wass. When he was talking about the potential to be historic. The potential of having a first black president here in the United States. He was describing a then senator Barack Hussein Obama,.

They worked their way up to the You always give the backwards you know, Mandel look tidy in the tan suit on you see how good he looked. He's a He's a. He's a rising star. Trust me on there. He's a rising star. You think so? Yeah, I don't know. Lieutenant Governors. Do they have a project? Not all of them. Not all I'm trying to think. When's the lather than Scott McKellen who kind of got the job with Lieutenant governor. I'm not staying with Scott's. I'm just saying, potentially beyond Wisconsin. You see what I'm saying? He's got some potential. He's got a very large national profile. If you know that he's in a lot of blood and meat nationally, ex DNC chair Is that what you're saying? I don't know what his future holds for him. Not you. Italian Senator is that I'm I'm just saying he's got. He's got potential. First. I want to know what you're talking about. I think he's a guy that has a bright future in politics and or the national media in the future, Okay? He's a smart guy. Look at these showing love for Democrats. Look at me. Come on, people. We have much to get to, But I know you got to get to a break. So I have to do it later. I could just keep talking and I'm going on break. Okay? Way. Welcome broken. Here's the thing. I got beat up. For saying Well, it's either virtual or you've got to be here. So people started saying this is what the common Democratic response to me was. You realize we're in a pandemic. This is to a guy who's spent the last 3.5 months at four months talking about the pandemic, and basically I'm just hashtag in the mall. Listen better. Please listen better. I'm a guy that takes the pandemic seriously. But also understanding there are ways that you can do this. I have Democrats tell me it's embarrassing that your candidate is not coming to the state to accept the nomination. Put him in a bubble. Get him on Air Force whatever and get him here. Ask him who those asked those Democrats who they're voting for in November. Of course, nobody changes their mind. Nobody changes their mind. Nobody watches conventions. I didn't think people gonna watch the debates, and if they do, it's because not because of Joe Biden. Who is it for president of the United States, Baby welcome the Wednesday Wednesday edition. Steve Erik Jordan 18 back in these seats in the studio, All right, so day two of the DNC was last night. Let me ask you this if you.

"Time in my presidency, I will bestow this metal with an additional level of veneration on honor. My three most recent successors reserved for only three others, Pope John Paul, the second president Ronald Reagan and General Colin Powell. Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to award the presidential Medal of Freedom with distinction. To my brother, Joseph Robinette. Biden, Junior, Will they please read the citation? Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. In a career of public service spanning nearly half a century, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr has left his mark on almost every part of our nation fighting for a stronger middle class. A fair judicial system and a smarter foreign policy, providing unyielding support for our troops, combating crime and violence against women leading our quest to cure cancer. And safeguarding the landmark American Recovery and Reinvestment Act from corruption. With his charm, candor, unabashed optimism and deep and abiding patriotism. Joe Biden has garnered the respect and esteem of colleagues of both parties. And the friendship of people across the nation and around the world while summoning the string, faith and grace toe overcome great personal tragedy, This son of Scranton, Claymont and Wilmington has become one of the most consequential vice presidents in American history. An accolade that nonetheless rests firmly behind his legacy as husband, father and grandfather. A Grateful Nation. Thanks Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr for his lifetime of service on behalf of the United States of America. Evening, everybody You seem by now, This isn't a normal convention. It's not a normal time. So tonight. I want to talk as plainly as I can about the stakes in this election. Because what we do these next 76 days will echo through generations to come. I'm in Philadelphia, where our constitution was drafted and signed. There wasn't a perfect back in It allowed for the inhumanity of slavery. And failed to guarantee women and even men who didn't own property. The right to participate in the political process. But embedded in this document. Was the North star that would guide future generations. A system of representative government, a democracy. Which we could better realize our highest ideals. Your civil war. And bitter struggles. We improve this constitution. Include the voices of those who'd once been left out. Gradually. We made this country more just And more equal. More free. The one constitutional office elected by all of the people. Is the presidency. So the minimum we should expect a president to feel a sense of responsibility for the safety and welfare of all 330 million of us. Regardless of what we look like how we worship who we love. How much money we have or who we voted for. But we should also expect the president to be the custodian of this democracy. You should expect that, regardless of ego, ambition or political beliefs. The president will preserve, protect and defend the freedoms and ideals that so many Americans marched for. Went to jail for Fought for and died for I have sat in the Oval Office with both of the men who are running for president. I never expected that my successor would embrace my vision. Or continue my policies. I did hope for the sake of our country. Donald Trump might show some interest in taking the job seriously. He might come to feel the weight of the office. Discover some reverence for the democracy that had been placed in his care. He never did. For close to four years. Now, he has shown no interest in putting in the work. No interest in finding common ground. No interest in using the awesome power of his office to help anyone but himself and his friends. No interest in treating the presidency is anything but one more reality show that he can use To get the attention he craves. Donald Trump hasn't grown into the job. Because it can't The consequences of that failure are some fear. 170,000 Americans dead. Millions of jobs gone. All those at the top taken more than ever. Our worst impulses unleashed are proud reputation around the world badly diminished. In our Democratic institutions threatened like never before. Mom. I know that in times as polarized as these Most of you have already made up your mind. Maybe you're still not sure which candidate you'll vote for. Or whether you'll vote at all. Maybe you're tired of the direction we're headed. But you can't see it better path yet Or you just don't know enough about the person who wants to lead us there. So let me tell you about my friend Joe Biden. 12 years ago when I began my search for a vice president I didn't know I'd end up finding a brother. Jo and I come from different places different generations. But what I quickly came to admire about Joe Biden is his resilience born of too much struggle, his empathy born in too much grease. Joe's a man who learned early on to treat every person he meets with was fact and dignity living by the words his parents taught him no one's better new job. You're better than nobody. That decency. The belief that everybody counts. That's who Joe is. And he talks with someone who's lost her job. Joe remembers the night his father set him down to say that he'd lost his Gil listens to a parent who's tryingto hold it all together right now. He does it as a single bed who took the train back to Wilmington, each and every night so he could talk those kids into bed. When he meets with military families who've lost their hero. He does it as a kindred spirit. The parent of an American soldier. Somebody whose faith has endured the hardest loss. There is Great years. Joe was the last one in the room whenever I faced a big decision. He made me a better president. And he's got the character and the experience to make us a better country. And in my friend Camilla Harris, he's chosen ideal partner. Who is more than prepared for the job..

"F Y I on FM at 95.5 ht to what's going to stop calling in fake news. We're just going to stop calling in fake news. It's old. It's It's played out fake news. We get it. We understand fake news. It's now just propaganda for the DNC. Is that fake news is news is is flown the coop. It's all opinion and click bait is what it is a new study out that evaluates the evening newscast, ABC, CBS and NBC. And there Coverage of both Donald J. Trump and Joseph R. Biden. Hey, here it is. Evening newscasts 150 times more negative towards President Trump. Then former vice President Biden in a new study by Media research Center. The most biased campaign coverage in history, says analysis of ABC, CBS and NBC Evening newscast between June 1st and July 31st I'm no mathematician. I think that's two months. All evaluative statements, people acting as a value of saves people acting's of their experts, and they got himself so and so pollster so and so. These air evaluative statements. About former vice President Joe Biden. Wait. Have been positive. Four have been negative. 12 it so if you tell me that Haydn Biden isn't working that him staying under the radar isn't working. You're fooling yourself. You might not like it. I know I don't You might not like it that the world isn't being exposed on a regular basis to just how off the rails. Joe Biden is and how rapid his decline is going. Because, as the leader of a potential leader of the free world, we as Americans need to know that that might man might sit in the White House when he has his decline, going to wrap it well, and that's why they're not exposing him right, so they're waiting till after the convention, they say James Clyburn, the congressman from South Carolina, saying that Over the weekend. But who's convinced that who's convinced the Democrats are actually going to put Joe Biden out for tough interviews? Instead, we're going to do is sit him down with rapper Cardi B and have Cardi B just spout off about some nonsense. Joe Biden. Gotta trust that word. Evaluative statements. Two months eight positive for negative about Joe Biden. Of President Trump. All evaluated statements. Two months about president temperament. We had 12 total on the Biden side. There's 600 I'm sorry. 702 total confidence about President Trump. 634 of those air negative. Hey, At least it was a positive comment. There was 30 for positive comments, which is fabulous. It's he's doing well, that that is no longer fake news. The fake news is gone now. This is now just propaganda. And as I go through my house, and my wife is listening to one of these channels, specially NBC. Forget about the tape shows just mad. I just my kids now No. There were walking one step with Dad. Mom's Listeninto propaganda again. They know what's going on, and they see it. They see it. You can't Watch an hour of news without the majority of being how Donald Trump has completely caused Cove in 19 in the United States rule in the country and took away your freedom and he's racist that he's Ah, it's It's crazy. We're just talking here. During the break, CNN had a Clip of a documentary to doing about Biden. You know, when Biden had a tragic when he was a younger guy, his wife and kids were killed in a car accident. Horrible. His wife and daughter. Dead is too. Son survived the accident of those two sons. One died recently. I mean, the man I would never. I would never wish that on anyone. I don't care how ideologically off the rails you are. It doesn't mean you need to want you to bury one of your Children or two of your Children and your wife. Not cool little No, but you know, I hate to say this because it sounds insensitive, but it's being used for political purposes. Course it's being used because there's a network of CNN that is completely in the tank against President Donald Trump. So they're trying to build up Joe Biden. As much as possible. And this is what you're gonna see out of Joe Biden. So probably what's happening behind the scenes and CNN is reaching out reaching out reaching out. Say, Hey, We wantto we want to interview Joe Biden's campaign is like, Well, we're only doing under these conditions. We're going to talk about these things. So if you focus on Joe Biden's passed on the fact that he had to bury his first wife, his daughter And then he had very bo. More recently, we will talk to you. Under these conditions, because it's very clear. This is all orchestrated very clear that all this is edited and they do not want Joe Biden off the cuff. That is why you're seeing all these interviews. We played a couple examples for you. He has handlers saying, that's enough. Even in the Biden interview, which Cardi B. Today, his daughter was there to sort of guard him to make sure he stays in the certain territory Now that also they're not talking about the other siblings. We're not talking about Hunter. That's the one thing about his loss. Are they going to talk about how the loss impacted Hunter? Course I'm gonna make all the excuses all the bad things he did. Do you know how the loss impacted Hunter Hunter actually connected with his AA is ex sister in law, now widower of his brother, So that's a weird that is so you know, that's all off the table because the weirdness of the Biden family will not be spoken. And that is going back to the media Research Center. That is exactly where the big news networks are. If you think CNN and MSNBC are the only propaganda networks for the DNC, you've got this all wrong. I mean, Donna Brazile, one time work for I believe is NBC. Right? Which one was she? She was the moderator for one of the thing with CNN service. But then she gave the answers to Hillary. I'm the questions Hillary Clinton Clinton prior to the debates. That was one of the one of the first examples that we've lost it all together. So I understand Donald Trump and his fake news and he's going to keep saying fake news throughout the campaign. Your fake news. Your fake news. I don't want to talk to your fake news. But it's it's it's moved beyond that. And this is evidence of that once again, 30 for positive evaluative statements of Donald Trump in two Months on all three networks combined 634 negative. And you got to think about too. You know, as a news guy, myself as a guy that's worked in newsrooms have been around news for my professional life, which is now over 20 years. It's so disappointing that this is what this profession has come to. That it is all in the tank against one guy where they won't even give a fair shake. Not even close..
Warnings over Trump inquiry fly between Pompeo and Democrats
"The breaking news of the hour is a letter signed by three House Committee chairman to the Deputy Secretary of state responding to a letter earlier in the day by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in which secretary pompeo attempted to block blocked testimony from current and former State Department officials the letter tonight says dear Mr Deputy Secretary we are responding to a letter sent earlier earlier today by Secretary of State Mike pompeo attempting to block testimony from current and former State Department officials sought by our committees for depositions as part of the House of Representatives impeachment inquiry. We are writing to you because Secretary Pompeo now appears to have an obvious conflict of interest he reportedly participated personally and the July twenty fifth twenty nineteen recall in which the president pressed Ukraine president to investigate the son of former Vice President Joseph Biden immediately after Ukrainian president raised his desire for the united its military assistance to counter Russian aggression sanitary pompeo should not be making any decisions regarding witness testimony or document production in order to protect himself south or the president any effort by the secretary or the department to intimidate or prevent witnesses from testifying or withhold documents from the committees shall constitute evidence of obstruction of the impeachment inquiry given the secretary's own potential role and reports of other State Department officials being involved in or knowledgeable knowledgeable of the events under investigation that committees may infer that he is trying to cover up illicit activity and misconduct including by the President present this would be a blatant cover up and clear abuse of power that letter to the deputy secretary of state tonight follows a report by NBC News. It was tonight that the Inspector General of the State Department has made an urgent request to brief several congressional committees tomorrow about documents related to the State Department and Ukraine according to multiple congressional sources the request from the State Department's Inspector General comes on the same in day that the head of the State Department Secretary Mike Pompeo sent a letter to the House Foreign Affairs Committee saying that he will not voluntarily make make available five current and former department officials for depositions by the committee one of the witnesses that the House Democrats want to hear from has already agreed to appear for deposition on Thursday Kurt Volker resigned from the State Department last week and therefore is no longer under Mike Pompeo's control in this matter. The pompeo letter does highlight light one point that might be part of the discussion that the State Department's Inspector General urgently wants to have with the congressional committees. The POMPEO letter says quote the invitations the committee sent to the department officials include requests that each of them personally produced a vast amount of documents these requests appear to a duplicate the subpoena that was previously served on the Secretary of state the requested records constitute the property of the Department of State and are subject to restrictions on the unauthorized disclosure of classified information in various executive branch privileges. The pompeo letter went on to say that the committee is asking the witnesses to to quote produce materials that are not theirs to produce the Inspector General of the State Department is Steve Lennox who was appointed to that position in twenty thirteen by I president Barack Obama the inspector general would like to meet with the staff of the House Intelligence Committee the Senate Intelligence Committee the House Foreign Affairs Committee decide Foreign Relations Committee as well as the House Oversight Committee and the House for Raisins Committee the Senate Appropriations Committee. This is an extraordinary question includes democratic staff and Republicans staff. This is a request the likes of which that I for one is a former. Senate staffer have never seen or been party to and fortunately tonight. We are joined by guests to have much more experience than I do. In State Department matters and intelligence committee matters. We'll be joined later in the hour by a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee Senator Kamala Harris who is now a candidate for president secretary. POMPEO's letter blocking the testimony complained that State Department lawyers should be allowed to attend any depositions positions by Congress State Department employees but tonight's letter from the three house chairman to the Deputy Secretary of state says the same rule has been in in place for more than a decade under both Republican and Democratic Chairman of the Committee on oversight and reform and it was in place during Secretary Pompeo's tenure on the Benghazi Z. Select Committee the regulations that Govern House deposition state witnesses may be accompanied by personal non-governmental council to advise them of their rights only members committee staff designated by the chair or ranking minority member and official reporter the witness and the witnesses Mrs Council or permitted to attend observers or council for other persons and Putting Council for government agencies may not attempt the chairman's letter to the deputy secretary of State says the rule is intended for exactly these types of circumstances to prevent the agency head with an obvious conflict of interest in who is directly implicated in the abuses. We are currently investigating from trying to prevent his own employees from coming forward to tell the truth to Congress the three Chairman Adam Schiff the intelligence committee the Foreign Affairs Committee and Elijah Cummings the oversight committee. Tell the deputy secretary of state it is a criminal violation punishable by fine. Mine are up to five years in prison to buy threats or force or by any threatening letter or communication influence obstruct impede or endeavour to do so the due due and proper exercise of the power of inquiry under which any inquiry or investigation is being had by either house or any

I mean that would be simple as pie I can get elected do and I am going to give everybody whatever health care you want all you're gonna have done was walked into a medical facility and get what you need never have to worry about sure easy for them to talk on the reasons tough to talk about. is because the government doesn't make it work. if you ask me the Democrats are the last people who should have any credibility on reforming healthcare they did it they had obamacare they had all the experts all the people who supposedly know every thing about and they had all the people who have all the compassion in the world Barack Obama Hillary Clinton that whole crowd right they know more about healthcare than doctors they know more about health care to the hospital operators they know more about health care of insurance companies they know more than everybody right that's what they tell you have they have experience in it not a one. not a one of them has ever run an insurance company or hospital or any are. they have never run anything you do you know what with the emergency clinic or what they don't know a thing about it. what they know is bureaucracy what they know is policy but these people the Democrats ought to be as discredited on health care as anybody is discredited anything they fix that did nine. they promised us they gave us obamacare they told people it was all kind of things you got to keep your doctor you get to keep your plan if you like none of it was true why does anybody. listen to the Democrats on health care. it's because there isn't anybody yet that's willing to talk call them out on it. why should health care be a more difficult subject for Republicans to talk about the Democrats when the Democrats have. the huge not sure I'm failed you're already etched in their belts. they blow it nobody likes obamacare. so what's the solution well let's have more people who screwed it up try to fix it again. hi there some days this stuff gets frustrating to me a much worse than it does other days. and I just I I hate. Hey that's the wrong word I just I just cringe when when. there are people who believe that it's easier for the Democrats talk about healthcare the Republicans if it shouldn't be and it isn't. unless you don't know how to compete with people or offering to give it away which is what the Democrats want people to think they're doing I will acknowledge look apparently ladies and gentleman. the yacht the internet has blown up today. all are sent the woman has now surface to accuse Antonio brown. of the New England Patriots a sexual harassment I haven't seen the story I just saw the headline race by on fox news I don't know any details that happened after this hour's program had already begun. see look at New York times under fire after admitting keep they are not underfoot they may be under fire from fox news and morning Joe but big what they're not under fire I'm sorry folks I promised I'm going to drop this. let's go to the audio of the video that has supposedly melted the internet today this clip right now all the range is from two thousand seventeen Wilmington Delaware. LA it's a bad boys run and win and that's right and. run advance boys and and yeah yeah yeah I got that they use palm made their hair she had to wear a bathing cap on Biden told to get off the off the diving board of failing on that he was gonna come up and drag him off the reason you made me laugh and they met it. and they showed up with the three guys in a straight razors and so how did this and there's a guy named bill right the only white guy he did all the polls he was the mechanic and I said well I'm not going to do is sick there's been chained one across the defense any cut off a six foot let the Cheney for what version you walk out with that change and you want their card say you may cut me ma'am but I'm gonna wrap this chain around your head I walked up to my car finance dept those days used to member the straight raise your buying a moniker get a rusty put him in a rain barrel get a rusty I said well I tell you get off the board to get off the board not kick you out again but I should have called you Esther Williams I apologize for that he said you apologize to me I thought I apologize for not for thrown out but Paula Johnson what I said is it OK close a straight razor my heart begin to beat again. early this this is service of the internet can you explain to me why this is become an internet radio. okay so no. no one believes that is why it's been common internet raise nobody believes a meets up with some guy named corn pops any ends up fighting the guy off with a chain link fence piece. and apologize he apologizes for Colin corn top Esther Williams that was the big fancy polygons corn pop put the straight razor white Joe Biden what was he trying to accomplish here tell people a tough it was. it is a bad deal himself he's not afraid to not not taking a backseat solve parent in this okay so that qualifies as you know they're more and more calls for him to get out of the race. well. gosh why. he's leading in the polls. he's leading in the polls out you know who is telling him to get out. the people who think that every election is literally one among the twenty percent independents. I don't think that's what this election's going to be. but you know everybody in the professional politics business swears by the fact. that forty percent this is this is roughly forty percent of the vote to gonna go Democrat forty percent Republican and not big remaining twenty percent those wonderful it can depend. does open minded non bigoted haven't made up their minds yet people in the center and whoever gets the most of them is going to be elected the next right and that's SO pretty standard operating procedure. in the rare telling Biden to get out. because they think Biden's gonna scare that group of people away because he's abandoning the center Biden's trying to sound like a left wing radical. because that's what the Democrat party is be calm and brighten they say is not one of those guys he's not a left wing radical here's what everybody thinks the old fashioned moderate Democrat was. any of those and there haven't been any moderate Democrats. that have mattered in great numbers for years the whole of the Democrat party has gone radical left and it's going more radical with the passage of each month. but they think Biden is going to scare away a lot of people that twenty percent for the Phillies obvious reasons they're trying to find ways to get him out. now he's gonna win Barris himself even in Paris the Democrat party. well there isn't any body remaining who can make a claim on that twenty percent of the theory is that Elizabeth Warren will do it. the fear repairs that Elizabeth Warren is only tacking way left right now because that's what everybody on the Democrat side has to do to get the nomination but then once that secured Elizabeth Warren is going to start moving to the center and will be almost unrecognizable the Elizabeth Warren she is today. but before she can do that Biden has to somehow be dispatched. and the conventional wisdom is not going to survive the campaign in any way something's gonna happen that'll be profoundly embarrassing what's left by the way on that score. I mean if something was going to force him out because of its being embarrassing we've been there we've done that there isn't much left to happen that good embarrassing. I mean he's made every gaffe you can make. the other day he couldn't remember the word escalator he was attacking the tribunal when he was coming down the thing there when he was on you know what I'm talking about managers come down it was corn pop with America coming down on these talked about already there's a nice or whatever what escalated that's right the escalator yeah he could remember that. in fact we've got that sounds like. what what is it. number fourteen here it is yesterday in Miami Biden was at a campaign event in the little Havana remember when he came down down the his Gilbert escalator at trump tower he announced on the way down one reason is wrong running because all those Mexican rapist right remember the escalator somebody had to supply him the word there from the from the audience okay OB I wanna move on to this attack on the Saudi oil fields it was actually an attack on two things. it was an attack on a gigantic Saudi oil oil field and then a a crude oil processing center which is the next step after the oil is brought out of the ground that is in a place called and cake and it's near the Persian Gulf not far from Qatar as you look at the map. it's it's it's due north east from Riyadh maybe a couple hundred miles. it's flat out in the middle of the Saudi desert when the oil is. the theory is that who's the rebels in Yemen with home the Saudis are at war. backed by the Iranian mullahs. launch an attack. delivered by drones which. itself is scary to a lot of people. I mean you don't see him coming you don't hear them coming back a you'd have radar to try to try to find the but this this attack got through I think ten of them and they did some damage they have. essentially the the Saudis have shut down. the. delivery of the export of five million barrels of oil a day. and the headlines all over the drive by media yesterday war room really inflammatory this is not a big one this is what we've all been waiting for this could be the end of the Saudi dominance. in the supply of oil another headline crude prices soar after attack on Saudi facilities forever named global growth. crude prices surged on Sunday evening following an attack on Saudi Arabia's oil infrastructure and an announcement from president trump that he has authorized the release of oil from the strategic petroleum reserve the Saudis have done the same thing the Saudis have a large stock of oil that's in reservoirs just waiting for emergency use the point is to maintain a for that for the sake of markets to maintain a. the bold steady quantifiable daily supply of oil. flowing free.

"As the Joseph r Biden music indicates stumbling all over himself. He's announced yesterday. His campaign suggested maybe he would just announce Stacey Abrams VP pick. Because what we really need is a person who has never won a federal office as VP at least Trump had run an election. At least Trump ran through an election. Stacey Abrams has run no federal election. The only major elections. She ran for she lost. That was governor of Georgia. She's refused to accept that. Nonetheless, Biden has been discussing. Maybe we'll go Stacey Abrams as our VP cans at it. Despite the fact that she was like a state Representative in the state house in Georgia. That's her highest credential van Jones at Lisa's, honest about this stuff says it's pretty obvious. What Biden is trying to do here. He is not picking Stacey Abrams because his deeply impressed with her work. I think he's trying to accommodate the fact that people maybe they do we really want to have a 'nother. Straight white guy. Can't we have a little bit more diversity? So maybe he's trying to put on a little bit of a diversity jacket a diversity beard for himself. I think though, the downside of it for him. Are this is very very risky. Okay. There. It is a diversity beer. That's not me saying that that is van Jones saying that. And of course, the Joneses crept Joe Biden is is he's got some problems in this race. They're just not enough members of the democratic caucus who believe that. He is intersectional enough for him to for him to run away with this race. Meanwhile, beta O'Rourke attitude continues to be insanely weird..
