"Circled. The calendar moms threaten their kids. Wave away for the persian waivers. I'm gonna teach advocates about the purge because he don't know shit tomorrow. I'm going to tell them it's a real fucking day. I'm going to pick a day november somewhere and that's the tale back deplores is So spouses would kill their spouses. Each year no no doubt and that domestic violence would-be legal one year. I la one year at halloween horror nights. I sold the actor at the purge. Maze that yearly purges were not financially feasible and he stayed in character to his credit. Can you imagine that seem florence. Going excuse me sir. Excuse excuse me maniac. Burs clown i. This is not feasible. Horrible horrible Florence horrible horrible concept and there are numerous sequels and a tv show. But i i didn't ask this today. Actually i but i bet she would. I bet i bet. She likes the purchase as absurd as they are. You might enjoy them. She has also rance as she goes them What i'm assuming you have also rans and we will get to all of those after we do the listener's list which is brought to us weekend week out thanks to jordan wolf and all the work that he puts in even though this week was a bit muddled to say the least and I'll take the blame for. That'll take the head. Also take the hit for I guess replaying a red light green light. That had already run in last week. Show so that's used to me de Yeah i'm not I'm not too good with a book. Learning no i. I don't know how that happened. Honestly i really do not know i must have mislabeled something but that was mistake on my part. I'm better than we're this show is better than that so i probably however. If you listen to some three times you'll remember it so you've heard it twice now. You're going to remember more about the movies that are coming on the future. Then you would have used sort of the once all right so you did it for their own good. Yeah that's what i'm saying. I never five for the listener left. And you have to understand that. This was a little bit muddled. Like i said because they listeners took it more as a concept rather than the movie itself so nor five is stuffing in entire book series into one movie the dark tower. That's just a bad concept from the actual execution which i appreciate the listeners. Taking that on right saying like how can you fit everything into two hours from this entire volume. Literally of books. Terrible concept sure. Don't try and do that. Not fair to the The volume of books number four for the listeners is movies about board games okay. It doesn't doesn't doesn't work for the these purposes. But i agree absolutely agree. Yeah there's shoots and ladders is coming out later. This year with george clooney and ben affleck. I think and i have no interest in santa. I heard dora was okay. I was kidding about shoots and ladders. There's no fucking moved on number three the movie tag. Great fucking choice. I've never seen the movie. So i don't know it seems like a bryant. I started to watch it. He was a little bored. Did you start to defeat if that was the challenge. Like could we make an exciting fun movie about fucking tag and pull it off out. That would be like. Oh look what they're doing. That's good shit right. Yeah that'd be. I mean that'd be fun but i like that. I feel like they had these actors want to work together. And then what do we do guys. What do we do. I got it number. Two from the is the social network bad concept good movie i see more and say great movie about that bad concept. I mean the the the ends of how major corporation came to be. I disagree with that. I just heard the red light greenland few weeks ago. Reviewing old old episodes they probably read that shit and Yeah i think we're both like back and forth back. Who wants to see a movie about facebook. Me turns out great number one from the listeners. As emoji movie with fifteen point four percent of the overall and twenty seven point six of the top. Five emoji movie. Yeah making a fucking entire movie about emojis. Yeah imagine our befuddled. Brian if we went back in time to beginning the the onset of this here program and we see in the future. We're talking about something called emoji movie or like what the and but it makes sense to us. We're like what what is what was happening. What do you think j. What do you think. Iran better scores emoji. Movie eight seven. Wow you're very close very close not quite as close as you were dead nuts on are also rans do i. Yes I almost a lobster on there but but the lobster again is have a fantasy movie and he got an allowance. Yes i i gave him a break with because he made a top five out of all of length movies but they're all good for the most part to at least interesting. I'll close put an old boy on there. That would have said. She peewee big adventure. The rock any number of nineties action movies with a worked as well as any transformers film transformers film. I one why because the the departure absurd lender is. There's no plot at all. You love them i'm so befuddled by a bernie's almost made the list almost made this was considered a vehicle for corey haim and Of course element you know that we can bernie's but then something happened..

"Means so. This is a mortuary not a rental house. We're scared fucking ashes. Bereaved doesn't make bryan. Brian just brought this quote up out of the fuck and blue when we're setting up today and i said save which you obviously didn't respect or here i said and then he sent me the clip. Which so that's one of the big lebowski. That's walter going flying off the handle. These wants to do and this where bereaved it's when they were getting and look shopping for earns for everybody. There ralph close by. I right okay what are you doing what are you doing. Let's wanna bring them home with. I enjoy this. I just got an email from jordan wolf just in time to eight on now. This looks a lot like my list on. Oh no it's almost identical to my list. I'm curious what criteria did you have. Some had to become our summer and they had to be liked by me. That's your strict buffet. Eric do you need to clear your throat. Because i feel like i wanna clear your throat for you. It's it's wildly distracting very upsetting. And don't tell me cancer related because i won't buy it don't i didn't ask for guard table at causal gargling. No one needs that. Oh no it. Is that brian. I feel better. That's one of the ones that didn't make. I don't feel better. We feel worse now. Thanks i should put it on. My list lost minute. What's that gargling now for our next episode while lines you most often. I say she's save it Theft go ahead. What are you got number five for me a film. You have not seen sadly stupidly or should we go over our most anticipated. I oh let's roll it up to your list right in front of me. Prepare for the program bryan. Even if i don't have you don't have my cut up audio of the my my my seat mate all of mine all of my own. She came out after the summer. Previous what what does that. What did you just say. All of my five came out after the summer preview episode. Of course. I mean that's how it goes. What what. Why are you saying that. I use my two feet. Why why are you saying things like throwing you off. You have all right. let's do. I'd do jesus christ all right. Here's here's our most anticipated summer movies. An and it pains me to of my five not being seen by me. One of which. I don't think i'll ever see and that might be number. One number five went like this. Most anticipated excited to see some are movies. June twenty-ninth movie called zola. Came out as excited at number five on my list. Number four for me was a movie. Stillwater tom mccarthy starring one f word using the did the f slur using a damon. What's his name. Matt damon damon. Thank you you nailed last name. Are you having trouble the i. I often brian names. Don't stick with with andy over and say Number three for me. Most anticipated was the green knight which i was shocked by my own admission that i didn't have it above the suicide squad. Yeah the suicide well. I thought i would be more pumped about the great night. But i tell you trailers sucked me in for the suicide squad. James guns a reboot of a suicide squad very excited i was my number two disbanded and my number one most anticipated was demonic by neil blom camp and i'm very very disappointed to report that i've heard nothing but bad things. It's eleven percent on your at your alter On the rotten tomatoes last night checked and apparently belong camp was just getting back was roots making a movie during cova very limited very small budget horror film. That was Apparently very very difficult to get through. I thought i found her diamond in the rough. I was very excited. Blonde camp of course Elysium district nine and of course chappie so let out. I should watch it as you be good boy and watch it. Take my medicine. But i don't know if i'll ever be catching up with demonic stillwater. I have a sneaking suspicion. Would've made my top five of the seller from things. I've heard but i have not had a chance to see it. I would like to. I will see it still. Water will be flicked best into this microphone five most anticipated for me number five the first movie ever to make three preview lists free guy. We'll be hearing more reverie later number four quiet place part to number three snake eyes can. Why are you foolish. Number two luca foolish and number one has not come out yet because he pushed back to the fall Sadly now it looks like it's going to be a hbo like limited thing like three one hour parts or something. The beatles get back still very weird that a music doc would be number one. I know you don't like music. Talk about them a lot. And you don't assign weird strange. Brian but here don't you suffer. Reflect a little bit you take a step back and look at the heirs of your ways. That means i'm not a mistake in my life. Ever it pains me to hear you be so wrong you had fucking blonde camps eleven percent or number one true demonic all bold letters to erode type it out and all. I think that's actually how it how it is. I am style typeface number five for me number five for me all right. This is the movie that Anger be made me very upset but You know just. I have a hard time accepting sappy things i guess sean this coda the apple. Tv coda yeah. This is the only movie that i watched on my couch this volvo of the movie that i reviewed a few weeks ago and it's a movie that in the end got me got me pretty hard like i was a ugly crying. I at the end and really pissed me off. I was very disappointed in myself. But movie that i think most people would like. I'd have a very hard time not recommending this to almost everybody. I know it's just. I'm i i don't like to see sappy soft balls thrown my way and it felt a little. It's almost it. it was a tale of two there. Were some sappy softballs but the families delphi thought was just wonderful. Family stuff was fantastic for those of you might be a little bit in the dark Coda one earlier this year which i also was watching it under that guys no dialogue no subtitles. There is dialogue quite a bit of dialogue brian. It's not the drive. But i was imagining this audience. Reaction to it which bothered me which is not fair to the movie. I admit that it's not fair to the movie but there was a lot of soft humor in here that not sophomore humor even though there was some of that but there was a lot of like okay jokes and dad jokes. That probably got huge laughs. So i'm probably the teacher most of all. I would put a lot of money down that. I'm right here but i'm reacting to something. That may or may not have happened. That i was not i was not present for so. I'm holding that against the movie but at the same time. I'm sure that is true. Well played at sundance. it might have been like Virtual sundance right at home Anyways it's the story of a young Who is coming of age. And she's on the daughter of a deaf to deaf parents and deaf deaf brother and she works on fishing vessel them and it's her making her way through life with those challenges. Wow coda while what's up number five for me. How'd you seen this movie. What's up with. Wow wow wow it ed. Too heavy heavy subject matter Lot of lot of low hanging fruit jokes. That's true my number five and see perhaps even seen it. It would not coat off your list like it did for me.

"Roof. Nba rufus. Today right right. No no no and the camera kind of floating around just distracting ryan. You liked it. You like the camera work. Not not that part. But actually the part of the actual resort. I thought he did some cool framing and resort for five minutes. Everything's bullshit like even when the cameras going back and forth and there the resort and there's glass in the cave the glass partition between the gi. Because you'd see the camera like there's a reflection. I imagine they would have to digitally perhaps but they're flocking with things right off the bat cave. We'll talk about that in the Alluded to it with setting her up as a pain in the ass so we don't really care and the and the trailer they make. It seem like it's a monster. Well in a way. I know how it was written on the page. I don't think that they pulled it off. It was different. What one i feel like. He was a big fan of looper. Specially that scene with paul danan scherzer all any and he's he maybe is trying to do long version of that scene. It still more like the thing. What does cave talking about the movie in. We're not the leave at three in the morning from this fucking but that's a really it's fucking brutal though you have the room and we're committed and i really appreciate you coming out now. We are a lot of people would have just tried to cancel so we get there. We got there with the front desk. And we'll get the woman would man. Some of the front desk was like ok information. And it's about who we are like. Oh you're room is not ready. And this is four thirty and weddings like six Well we need to change for the room. That has a problem with your room. Like what's the problem and you just wait here and we'll see somebody else's stain in someone else's stand. It wouldn't leave really. That's what they want to leave. They wouldn't tell me exactly what's going on. We ascertained that there was a booking. Mix up in someone. Thought they were checking out the next day so even there and there are scrambling and kept going back the desk and like trying to find out what's going on because now just need to get changed. You know what i mean. It does points to get changed and drew is there. She sailed the four forty five or clock never was and he like i brought. What are you doing like checking in problem with the room. And the guys like the guys like Was so sorry we room is someone else in it Unfortunately can offer you the room you booked in my mind. I'm like podcast. I'm gonna leave after the wedding. We're going to get a couple of hours sleep at home and we're gonna get christie to the l. a. f. sometime and drew fucking white night that he is sending actually because oh no that is unacceptable you find dismantle room right now shut off docu those who you might not know it so well and and i really appreciated him. Like intent true plays. This is going to work out so well right. Drew does not mind draws wait around a little bit. He's very comfortable outreach. You find a room right now my number my number one so could number one barber trish just quiet you got out of it you got to. You got to leave right. I said it was like listen. No harm no foul. I am willing to forego all rights to that room if you simply just give me a refund. And they're they're happy to hear were like. Oh okay well. We stayed till the end of the wedding. Actually and we drove him brian. What's up after the world crash of nineteen seventy nine world crash. Yeah world crash. A massive civil unrest an economic ruin occurred the united states government is are structured and it becomes a total total. Tally aryan talent. -tarian regime hotel. Totalitarian regime under martial law is unfamiliar. Is this new york this death race. Oh two thousand. Yes in the nineteen seventy-five death race. Two thousand yes carrying and stallone. This may or may not be a game show. It's involved soil chance but it's like a. It's like a sporting event to and this predates grand theft auto. My friend nine hundred seventy five and the contestants so this is why. It's a really fun horrible awful exploitation movie but it's a frankenstein's the lead by carried him and he's the the reigning champions. It can only be one because everyone else gets killed. The mysterious black. It's right there in the name. Garb champion and national hero. Whoever wins is the hero and then we got machine gun. Joe played by stallone. Who he's chicago tough guy gangster and then we got color calamity jane cowgirl. You think like wrestling like that. Yeah these characters and matilda matilda the hun a neo nazi good and hope. She went and near the hero. A roman gladiator machine gun. Show niro the hero. The second place champion determined to defeat frankenstein so becomes like i guess and they all had corresponding cars and the way that they are scored on the leaderboard is by taking out unsuspecting civilians with their race cars and the more ghastly the more violent. You're you're you're killers. Score will be described the injured with great joy the senior love with the nurses and the old people that wheel out. I mean it's right there. It's it's but it's grand theft auto before grand theft auto. And it's it's exploitation at. Its finest there really is. This is like a sold on precinct. Thirteen type exploitation. It's have you seen seen assault. Have you seen death raison. D'etre no you remember my talking about the the all so wonderful the nurses all right so that's number one. I was afraid you were going to say. Hey it's not a game show. But i can't. I can't defend. This is a game show for of the ones that game show you know what i mean with less debt. Thirteen assault idea the original now. They remade death race. What state. But i don't know if it's a connect is it connected as the same move. I skipped it skipped remake. I don't know does jason. The movie called death race. Which i do not see. I don't know i don't know. Death rate is two thousand eight film. Paul w s anderson. The bad paul anderson though referred to as a remake of the nineteen seventy five film death rates. Two thousand. i feel like director. Paul does anderson stated in the commentary that he thought of the film is something of a prequel so it is related. Same same short story the racer verna herzog pizza. I've never heard. I've never heard of his death raised. In fact i just learned about death rates known about this child. My demons. Although is anderson did a vp. Hey yeah he did. He did. Alien versus predator can tell you that i. I read a an interview with Verners i recently. Where he said that he's using always really. Yeah i get accent. He's committed to that. Show us doing the same boys for here. Said that he's had so much practice. Dealing with media and sock into large groups of people especially westerners that he he kind of settled on a voice and a cadence that he people in seem to like and can understand well but he doesn't talk like that when he was talking with his friends or family. So it's almost like a character that he puts on a little bit which makes sense. It's a version of him right but all right listen or less. Thanks i listen to this. I jordan wolf put together a listener list. We had a quite quite a few people Wait in this week. More more. So than normal which i'm happy about and here's what it looks like. You can't win from stay tuned. What's shocks me that it's on their list. I thought that i thought that was a deep. I was pretty proud of myself with the. You can't win. Stay tuned to hear are running. A marathon was not the answer. Billy madison which does not shock me. Because i know our audience and Billy madison yeah right. Their business ethics. Here's the thing about it so good Quiz kid from magnolia quiz show is what they call it. What do kids now. Wheel of fish from h f which i've successfully avoided my entire life ryan movie. Put our seems weird al yankovic. Have you heard any of his Hamilton songs no hamels and they're really good. I got to be at least one. There might only be one. But i feel like i've heard a couple of the tempo is upbeat. I hear it in kids. Place live on sirius radio quite a bit. I need this.

I mean. She wanted to be the most vile character alive on the planet Through murder and of course. True dog feces eating. This is a movie that is nearly impossible to to find last. i checked. There's just nowhere to be found. And it's one of the all-time biggest cult hit movies. You can you. Can you imagine. Pink flamingos was like the like. The colts moody. And you can't even find it now which is upset and just waters of course directed at the point in be streamed and then his backup would've been kathleen turner and serial mom. She plays a serial killing mop also by john waters but Losing goes on the criterion jail. Is it this all right cool. I didn't know that last. I checked it was nowhere to be found so starting to prove that criterion a little bit more than i than i did a nice brian. Rents i would like to hear the listeners I like to think clay as well. Who set me up with the criterion. How long ago was that claim. That was back in november. So i took six months. Oh nice. I've got five six months with the criteria. I love looking at a staff picks to their descriptions one which i'll read next week verifying for really very dead on. You know what one of main staff picks is right now on criterion gentle gruber round land. Frown land this traffic. It was very similar to something. I would have said about the movie. It's not a movie to enjoy. It's a movie to endure. Don't like to adore sociopath. The all over that frowned land. Thanks to chad. Ice for sinus frown. Land don't thank you. thank you very much. Throw momma art Listener list thanks to jordan wolf. Who compiles our listener list every single week this week for psycho biddy sinks to sean hamburg goes a little like this. Any wilkes from misery is number. Five is also my number five tied at number five. Is mrs voorhees from friday. The thirteenth number four is mrs trunk bull from matilda. Trench bowl or chunk. I couldn't tell you. I cannot tell you either. Have none of the telephone. Number three is margaret from kerry. Oh typer laurie fucking. Hey call good coffee route. Four number two ruth gordon from rosemary's baby and number one is dolores umbrage from harry potter point. Six percent of the overall thirty one point eight percent of the top five. And you know what it looks like our listeners or even younger than i give them credit for. Maybe kerala was a great pick For you to see this week you know. That's a good night last week piper. Laurie from kerry. I didn't even go down the religious like route crazy. Like religious law from donnie darko. Did the crazy dance. Dark eyed scissorhands got towns. One in their god. But she's cycle. Choose pretty psycho. She was pretty angry. She pretty mean she's an old biddy for sure. That's the thing you gotta figure. Out old and psycho heredity terry hereditary. That without giving way there a cycle for sure Drag me to hell. I also didn't even talk about this in the beginning. But i didn't go with the possessed old biddies and there's a number of them because somebody decided a while ago that little girls with black hair. That's long like a ten year old little girl and it's wet in some kind of like sleeping outfit is the most terrifying thing. It seems like every year movie for fifteen years had to feature a ten year old little girls long black hair. That's wet in sleeping gear. That was scary and then also old old women Possessed terrified and that it shows up at a lot and including Dragged me how Thinner and then the conjuring the devil made me do it. There's an old biddy in there and norman bates in psycho almost did it. I study no one. Let's let the ladies have their have their Auto owners day but he was identified as a woman she was being a psycho and it was right there and then do we take a lot more sympathy towards Or no norman. These days in the light of Transgender advances in our sympathies torturing transgender. Same with guy dressed to kill. Yeah i don't know if like you know how let's coming off now. What are you doing there. What are you trying to say that just because you wanna be a. You're born a man. You want to be a woman. You're psycho wait. But did he want to be a woman did he have to be a woman because he had that missing piece which was. Oh no i mean you know what. I mean dressed to kill different story. That this gamble is really know where to bring Gamble let's.

"I literally felt a dog just sat there all day. Now no shot nine being phony. I truly am no clue So the first month was a nightmare. It was gasol and i was like take this thing back. I can't deal with it But she's great now carolis jokes. She's like the doll basil for walks too. Because like i i'll be in the katcher forty five minutes on something. So she's been great like going runs with and she's a ton of exercise so get to be off. The couch gets me to do things. I probably wouldn't do but i didn't have a dog like google blazes with her and go on runs which is a middle east fair thing in the world to do so she just gets me off. The couch is a perfect match for my energy level. Which is great. What's her name milly. Milly milly can run man. that thing. is that things. Fast food frequent. Yeah and i'll tell you we have a puppy right now. We have a an eleven week old siberian husky. So i had dogs growing up. And like i thought it was a piece of cake. Oh dogs fun like this thing is more work than a human. Because you put a diaper on the kid right like you put a diaper on it and yeah you wake up in the middle of night but you wake up in the middle of night with a puppy to like this thing will test you to the limits right always into everything i have such a reborn reborn appreciation for my parents. Because we didn't do anything with these dogs. And i just figured they raise themselves but now not not so much at israel for the world games a family who had our dog dollar litter as well took millie after a week so she was like twelve weeks. "Poorly on people. Who do i understand the importance of it. I understand they were age. We're living in. i understand. There's a lot of value to it. And i get it so all the players you do buy into the stuff up which no disrespect at all. I think for me. It's a couple of things. I mean from a personality standpoint. It's just really not me. I don't to be in front of the camera. I don't want to be putting myself out there like that. I just didn't fresh sports. You see guys like andrew luck and quiet letter. They're just more. There's more introverted. More focus on their team and themselves a little bit more. And i don't i just don't have that personality for this and i think early on my career in deathly throat duke. Like just value being a guy on the like. I don't want any extra attention on this to be about me. I just want to be a made on group of guys. And i value that privacy. And i don't think that we should. I always have to be showing people everything that i'm doing. I think we're competitive standpoint. I don't want people knowing that. I'm working harder and i know it's kind of nutty but i don't want people don. I'm working out a lot or shooting or things like that. I just want to be on under the radar's possible one. Have everything focused on myself getting better and then our team and you know i think i do because we did a coach pricing. Remember this but he basically like a team building heads you know. Era has gone towards his goal and the arrows. Go different ways it. Just it takes so much to win and you need every ounce of mental capacity going towards what you wanna do that things like your personal brand or business opportunities like at least for me just resonates that just takes away from it. It's it's not. It's not gonna help me get to the top amount so it's not important to me Just kind of how i like. Dude we used to get like interview requests for people like you and you. Us across that. It'd be like just i on my team. It ask personals. can you.

"Moment of my career from all the things. I just mentioned. I think of you. And i think all the success right like all these championships in the individual awards endless but to be honest with you like in two thousand nine hundred nine. This this rattler group goes to the p. l. l. And you play in the plane for the chrome lacrosse club. And the success wasn't seamless and from from my vantage point just watching the body language of the team and seeing things from afar. And i never got this from you or anyone else but there seemed to be like a level of frustration on that team why it was one of the more miserable years in live across career and we just had a weird culture where we are so used to the same cut vibe always and things change guys coming in. Who didn't really you know we weren't as like minded as awesome. He didn't really have a culture of brand new guys. We had people who we play with for years. You were just put on different teams Randomly how a of new changes right. And i think that we didn't have success on the field and didn't really gel with our coaching staff. For whatever reason there was sort of friction Throughout the whole thing and especially for me like i said you know obviously. I'm so thankful to play. Professional crawl still compete. But you give up into. It's a big commitment in the summertime. You give a lot so it didn't sit well for me to go on the weekends. Lose by fifteen goals. Go home like that's yard. I was wearing all week long just kept happening and happening and i was nothing to do with my individuals success. Just like you're traveling get killed every weekend and it seemed like an. It's not worth it for me. At that point when i have to be to wait and we have to be successful at least we have to be competitive and i can get behind that but this was just a totally different field so it was difficult. I mean it was quite the adjustment all.

"In typical the way my mind works. I mean when i was graduating from do noah's got his big break. I never thought about professional. Cross one minute until after one my senior year and shit like i should probably start thinking like. Am i going to do this. What i always knew i wanted to have a full-time job. And make sure. I prepared for life actor lacrosse at some point at shut down but i did plan. I love being locker room. I wanted to play as long as i can. Long wheels were there so everyone was telling me you to pick one or the other fulltime across from work. And i think it was. Actually you remember you. First time we spoke. I was just getting my national championship tattoo. I'll sit in the parking lot and we call about maverick stuff and you talk about this. You're listening to america. Like you can always find the right opportunity to both. And i wanted to prove to everyone that i couldn't high level in both ways. Obviously it'd make sure you had an opportunity where they understood that you know is passionate years you want to pursue it so i want to show that i could do both at high level. I got very lucky to be drafted by the rattlers around this really special group of guys who are now. My two closest friends most important relationships. And i think i learned young thirteen with that dave lawson class you know the power of motivating to win for other people and i got so close with them. It was a motivating factor stained shape and train. And i know you don't want to get up on sunday mornings. You get up early before but uganda because you got to be there. You know you gotta make sure your body's prepared for help your your guys succeed in guys like jordan mcintosh and jol and jolly manly like i. I had to be there for them. And they've been with me this entire professional ron. so it's it's the same motivating factor to be the best. I can be for them. And i think the third thing for me is like i'm just very active and i have to do every day. Just to stay sane so waking up early working out or training as never been a problem for me. It's led almost like to me. I look at it as if i'm going to do this in the summertime and give up family opportunities and vacations on the weekends. You know you go from across your job. Lacrosse to grind alma suck when i love you really And the only way to do that. Prepare and so it's been it's been easy spin been opposite. Jump over time standpoint medley. It's been easy for me to rationalize putting the time in you mentioned two aspects of allowing yourself to play at a high level. One was the teammates. And i think back to like those rattler years and then segue into the into the chromos well like. Why is that group like you ran again. Joe white john galloway mike manley like why is that group so close like when you guys tweet at each other. You're on instagram. Go rats like there's like this. It feels almost like like a bunch of young guys who were. I don't know it has it has this fraternal field. That's real you guys. Love each.

"The nuances of the game. Because he was going through all. I i understand that 'cause i was turned the corner here our senior same thing and also knew very well what. It's like to be a duke lacrosse player. Daily says he went through the whole thing. He went there harder than everyone with obviously the channel happening. So i know crack a poodle on custody. You know how much i love them. But he was huge for me for whatever reason I think number two my my junior year. We had the greatest senior class. you can possibly imagine. They weren't like preseason all americans and big names or budget unknowns and of my closest friends and my class in their classroom essentially one and we all had a lot of experience playing together which i think was helpful and no he started the year two and four. We were like this could be the worst of all time and they basically brought us. We're like look where to do everything right now to have fun and kill everyone we play. We're not going to worry about anything. We're not gonna care about across and saying what anyone say the outside folks ourselves and with the entire thing. I'll still remember josh outfit saying that. And i basically from personal standpoint. I think i got better from lacrosse. Dampened mentally and literally didn't care about anything except winning. Not what people were saying what people thought me media anything. That's a hard thing to do. And it's hardly do these days especially with you know so she. Yeah everything i did. That year was to make sure. I set senior in the right way and to win and put everything else aside and we were obviously successful on. That was the exact same mindset my class to which felt like we were seniors at your to given. How much stopping. Put him in the dave loss in topeka josh billy connors of the world so we just carried it over to the next year. I don't think we're to win our senior year. We didn't go through that my junior year with those guys so from an individual standpoint. I offer me game. Slow down a lot and just mentally. I had been through so much And i just had a different mindset that year and nothing could be nothing could get in my way and we were pretty determined to win the whole thing and i just carried over my senior year as well when you think of john d..

"Because i learned so much from both them yeah. The christmas brothers are good. Dudes man really really good authentic dudes in hoops. Kobe bryant lower. Marian was well before you well before johnny as well but how is his presence. I always wanted to ask you this. Like how his presence always relevant in that high school in that school community. Yeah it's it's funny. It's i think there's something so tangible koby you know he's he was this global icon ray. And he's known at all we've all we've were grown up here and all the folks doors whose work ethic and things he did for the lakers winning championships. But it's so much more tangible for people marry because especially for me. You grew thirty seconds from like you went to the same parks. I want to do the same middle school same high school and you almost felt like at least in my twisted mind and i bet you a lot will felt this but as to live up to his entered and a lot of ways because he's so relevant to the community and you know you talked to anyone from law. Mary and the way they talk about kobe it they actually think people actually think related like they've ankle cousin. You better and i feel doubt. I feel close. Akopian met him a few times. Got talk to them. And i'm so fortunate for that but for me athletics. You just grow up hearing these stories. And you're like i can't believe to not show up for the strange says she. What will kobe think of me. And that's twisted and all but it is powerful. And i think people don't realize too is. Kobe didn't go to college law. That's his alma mater..

"Throughout this whole process let me grow up and learn things on my own. So appreciate for that when i think of anyone and in this case you that needs to be reeled back in you need kind of that time after a loss when you think of this whole process specifically to athletics. What has been the best way to deal with you when you get to that level. Just the space. I mean you know for better for worse by handle well or not well at the end of the day. It's all stems from the fact chair. I wanna be create. I want my team to be successful. Want my teammates be successful. That's really the rather be extreme in that sense that being someone who shakes off and it's so funny because my little brother had been on major in college careers three part of the year and you know he's allusion high school ground. I'll be like that. No worries like he had to develop like that that next edge that icon was born with but things right parents think. Both wes handle it so differently. One very mature in one very immature. Lee myself That was interesting for them. But like i said the other day. I'd rather be like that. I'd rather be someone who cares and emotional about it than someone even shake it off. It's not that important to them. You certainly care when. I talked to any teammate of yours. They love you. They love your passion. They love your competitiveness. And you play that way on the field and like your speed and your tenacity in terms of just how hard you go. I mean it's prevalent. When i watch you play but also you have that naturally given gift of being like a rocket ship your so so fast. Where did the speed come from. I don't know. I mean. I guess i compare. But he's a little brother. Who's a much more well rounded player than i am you know. He's he had both hands. He wasn't like initiating dodger but could shoot them both hands to play off ball but both my parents were good athletes and my grandfather and my mom's side was a scratch golfer. Really good basketball player actually never met him. But i've from what i've told. He's a phenomenal athlete. So and like to think maybe it from him I definitely unique skill set compared to my brothers. They're all great athletes to all play college. Sports but i definitely God bless with certain areas with athletic. So i don't know when you think of hockey there's so certain traits that you can kind of carry over to lacrosse but soccer was always a big part of who.

"For me in my town. The lacrosse practice field actually backed up to the outfield. The baseball field currently shared offense. So i'm sitting there one day. Just bored out of my mine looked through the the links in the fence. I saw lacrosse practice going on and from then on. I fell in love with the game. I went home that night and told my parents that i wanted to play lacrosse. I wanted to give it a try. Lucky enough my my dad played football thousand so he was around that high level across and newsom people who could send me a little care package setup with mistakes and from that day on house lacrosse player. You know when we were having that side conversation prior to this conversation i can always tell when someone like really loves the sport of lacrosse. Like once you started playing describe how obsessed you were with the game yeah. I think that that's a good word right. I was just absolutely excessively. I love watching highlight videos of all the best players at that time. I mean you want to look back on the time line. I was watching. John junior. Casey paul ryan pal highlights and my favorite thing was watching someone do something and going into the backyard and just trying to do the exact same thing i mean i was an absolute lacks route. I followed the college game. The pro game I remember coach. Adelaide actually takes v from tulsa on sunday. He's that it was funny to see how far the little freckle lacks rabid covens such a short time so it definitely wasn't just need than solve it. I was elax rap. But i absolutely loved the creativity the pace of play it was just. It was something that i couldn't get enough of you know. I'm a lot older than you and my lacrosse like video. Consumption was like old school. Vcr type stuff like your dad walks with other games. I used to watch full games and there was always like those players that i wanted like pattern my game after for you. And you were ripping through these highlight reels of of grant junior and the powells and all these guys who was like the one guy though that you tried to connect with stylistically the most. I think it was kind of an evolution over me growing up as a kid. I mean it's it's embarrassing to appoint because now obviously playing his junior and guiseley. Lyle and even teammates marcus holman and he was one of those guys that i watched them just the way that he would lay out around the cajun sell out of his body just his passion for the game was something that i always admire marcus for from a young age. I remember watching him at unc. So i definitely say that. Marcus was one of them. I like to take a lot of a lot of things from him. Obviously lyle high school and really kind of fall in love with the game and trying to become the best player that i couldn't trying to replicate him and just his creativity and all the crazy things that he would do with his stick with something that kept the game super fun for me and then one last one would probably be jordan wolf. I really i love watching him pages. His speed from exit. Something that i've always tried to emulate. Especially once i got into college and kind of settled into my role next attack minute. I think he he probably is one of the ones. Had the biggest influence on the game like i said it. It's funny that now I always watch those guys. Never thinking that i could ever possibly be as good as them and then. I was teammates with a couple of pleading a few of wild junior. D mazes marcus. I haven't had the pleasure of playing with her against jordan wolf yet but we'll have to see. Visa that those three probably had the influence on me. The jordan wolf. One make sense to me. Because like when i watch you play your like a rocket ship to man like you just fly out and your speed is crazy. Everyone gets their speed from someone either. Moms attract star. Dad played wide receiver. Like where did you get your speed from. Yeah i really no. I won't i won't give him the credit. I guess i have to. But my my dad plays football at thomson. University back in their heyday in the eighties. With dave meggett sean. Landeta some of those guys they want a few those lambert cuffs He's he's in their hall of fame. So i guess he was. He was pretty decent back in the day days. A strong safety. So i think that's where i got my quick bursts from yemen. Strong safeties fly can lay the boom. And you have the size now but you didn't have the size when you're like in your earlier stages of high school and you know that could have been part of the reason you kinda went under the radar but when you think back of of your whole process in i guess specifically to the recruiting process. Why do you think you got overlooked. I think it's twofold. I mean i yes. I was absolutely overlooked. I was incredibly late. Bloomer out even that you could call me a late bloomer if there's anything further than a late bloomer. That's what i didn't even. I didn't even start shaving my face until my sophomore year of college. Just just just they. Just tell you where i was just on my track of maturity and growing up i guess yet so just to give you an example shaving until my sophomore year of college but kinda kinda driving back to to in high school. Yeah i was undersized. I am six foot three now. I really didn't hit my growth spurt until my junior year of college. And you want to think back to. Canada recruiting rules back then in the year. Twenty twelve twenty eleven. The class of two thousand fourteen graduate there was no recruiting rules. Those the wild west right. I was still figuring out how to hold my stick in my left hand. You know league year two year three as a player. You got kids in my grade. Committing job hopkins. Though i definitely was behind the eight ball and that sense and with my story be a little bit different. If i was in high school now probably. I don't regret it one did. Because i think that kind of being behind the eight ball in terms of my growth maturity and kind of going all those recruiting tournaments and getting my teeth kicked in it gave me that work ethic that i have today the i don't know i would have had it if i would have been. Lean naturally give back you know because i had back then i had to fight and claw for everything i could get a five foot nine hundred thirty pound kid that stuck with me when i finally went through my gross burden kinda grew into myself and started putting on some weight and inches to my height so i think i think it worked out perfectly for me just to kinda lead into what all is now. Obviously i had to go through quite a bit at the beginning. Kind of being behind the eight ball going back to the recruiting stuff. I didn't commit until that would have been. I think it was november of my junior year. Which back then was unheard of committing to dean school. Only had three offers and monmouth was the best package for me at love with coach fisher selling and i wanted to go help build a program on the jersey shore that's awesome. I'm laughing to myself right now to about the whole shaving thing because you know you don't shave until your your sophomore year in college and i was a bit of a late bloomer but i grew up in the nineties and we actually didn't commit until the fall of our senior year like no one committed before senior year when i was playing ball But i have a thirteen year old son and he asks me all the time like. When am i going to get a mustache. And i always say to myself like dude. Chill out man. You don't wanna shave. Hold that off as long as you possibly can. But for a kid. That's tough like you probably thought when you're in high school like when am i gonna shave. I wanna shave now right..

That's very true. He is a very easy poster boy for being the villain, Colleen. Welcomes it in these seventeen points and three rebounds. He is unfazed by the public scrutiny. That's for sure. And especially down the stretch when the badgers were fouling to try to get back in. He was making them. All jinx to me miss that one thirty nine twenty seven that foul on John was his first of the day is six points, six rebounds and four rather three blocks Michigan. Setting up the devil downstream. "Honest. We've got about Yoenis. But yeah, I mean Denver's gonna probably will finish with the top two or three record in the NBA. And he's hosted triple double every night reality is that team has been hampered with injuries. And he's been the only consistency in that lineup. So there's no real way you add up this success with taking Jokic out. So he's he's in the conversation. But I mean James harden is I mean, he's more walking away with that bad. Boy fact moonwalk show me your moonwalk. Okay. Michael Jordan or wait Wackle Jordan wolves Michael Jackson, same difference. Both goats heavy with another. Rudy Gobert, we'll show up and cry at the all star game know, that's not funny. Ryan Hollins, this is so first of all when I heard people were really ripping on rooting by people. I mean, Draymond green and Andre etc. Now, I know both the you do, and I really appreciate what y'all doing how hard you play. But don't shame that man for crying. Because clearly, and every athlete. No, Ryan, you know, this, and you I can guarantee this has happened to you. We have all had those frustration tears now they happen sometimes in the game they happen. Sometimes when you're talking about things to media, usually we can mask them people think oh this wedding. Or are. They matters the heated, but sometimes you know, you get emotional you can feel that emanating from behind your face. I don't blame Rudy Gobert again for showing his emotions why are we going to shame a man for showing that he cares about his playing. Now, he also had a good clap back because I think he said he tweeted dream on. It was like, oh like you were crying. The last the finals right out shoot. Like, that's how you got like clapback. Well, I mean, I don't know if they did they plan the whole sound bit of his when he when he did cry because I think a lot of it has to be based on his conversation. What is mom? Yes. About. It wasn't about him or his game. Yeah. A hundred percent. Yeah. Right. Bobby because it was literally them like, oh, and he's like my mom calls me. And she was crying. And then, you know, as a man he was like choked up because his mom, my mom called me crying. I'm going to cry. Ryan. Crying that. He all all-star, mama. You gotta get your priorities. Right. Dang. It. Y'all live at good over there. I I mean, I I hope this is I hope it's not family business. But I hope it's family business because these five priorities are messed up right now. Look man, you cried about not being ause. I hope I hope it. I'm addressing this. I hope there's nothing bigger going on. But I mean hot dang it. Look they were garbage the Utah Jazz were hot garbage to start the euro. And if you upset that you didn't make the all star game after being hot garbage after disappointing after everybody picked you to be second or third in the west and watch out for Utah. Not all star. There should be no surprise there. And I like I said, I hope but I don't hope that there's a different meaning behind this. Well, and I I would have rather than Rudy Gobert mom cry than Anthony Davis dad spout off like he did on Friday night Bank, which was totally out of bounds. Because. I hope Mr. Davis understands what the business of the NBA is in that. There was there would have been thirty NBA teams that would've signed off on trading is Ahah Thomas. Irving. Oh, and that's not just how Boston treats people. So I understand what's going on right now where people are trying to poison the well, yes. On and have a an agenda, which I certainly he has an agenda right now. He wants to direct the way his son goes, and he wants to shut down any kind of rumor like, oh, this is better for him. Actually know the reality is though,.
