Well this is a. We weren't looking for this matter fact my whole life. I was never looking for god until he found me. And that's the story of the miracles manhattan book. People are shocked that god would show up for wretched centers like us. It's amazing so with jordan lewis. We weren't looking for this but it came to us that we need to do something in his honor. He worked in tanzania with the engaged unreached people groups and that was his happiest moment other than being married and having a great job. He was very very happy young man because he served the lord and god. Bless this this. Kid i mean he was my four sons he was always the one who would put his money in for a coke and he would get three or four would pour out. He had this touch. Might study was investing investing in microsoft when he was fifteen. I mean say rich young ruler kind of kid who loved jesus had god's hand all over his life so we miss him but this foundation has been unbelievably effective. Cowboys Kicker Misses Two Field Goals in Dramatic Loss to Buccaneers
"I i don't think there's any way of getting around at the tonight. A loser for the dallas cowboys. Is greg zero line. Let's let's your thoughts your thoughts on greg's Let's see here one second. This is a hectic night. Obviously greg line just amber says. I'm so mad right now on facebook. i'm with you. I get this. You know an anthony says not the same defense Tony says push off definitely a push off there at the end cowboys losing. Because the buccaneers drive. If somehow missed the game drive at the very kick a game winning field goal which just about no time remaining cowboys. defense can't stop them in the cowboys. Defense i will say kind of was a little bit of the same old defense. We didn't get you know a defense that was just allowing the bucks going on and on and on and on but this defense did get four turnovers tonight. But if we examine those turnovers. I think the only real authentic one was the demarcus lawrence forced fumble demarcus. Lawrence is definitely a winner tonight. I think demarcus lawrence was awesome. But the first interception the cowboys had the trayvon digs on was a tipped ball. Off of leonard fournette. Yes that counts. Yes that's true. Yes that count statistically but you know that's not necessarily your defense making a play on the ball cowboys also got an interception on. Tom brady at the end of the first half throwing a hail. Mary trying something before the half. That isn't really count. Although jordan lewis certainly had valiant effort trying to run that back and get some points You know the last turnover. The one that kind of turned the game around a little bit. That gave the cowboys. an opportunity. There at the very end Was just kinda. Chris godwin you know running into devante. Casey's helmet those things aren't necessarily You know something. You can replicate on a week by week basis and so for that reason. It's hard to give the cowboys credit. For all of those turnovers it was a different type of performance at the exact same defense we. I think we definitely saw some improvements. I think that mike parsons played moderately. Well i think that demarcus lawrence has mentioned played while randy gregory was on things But this was. I mean man. What a rough game for anthony

"Speed is obviously a completely different beast than practice And you know you're playing against garrett gilbert in practice or ghanouchi and practice. It doesn't matter. But i think that jordan lewis is still one of my favorite guys on defense. I think he still goes into week. One as the starter opposing trayvon digs I just think he needs a little bit more a little bit more confidence right now. That defense is playing well as a unit. And i think he might like. I can't speak for him. I don't know the guy but he might feel like he hasn't been his name has been called enough in the preseason already. Well my my last one is a Sorry another. I are player mitch. No anthony hines thirties. I believe he played for texas. Am he's an undrafted. Free agent He he i believe he's he got out on a stretcher there in arizona not pull but he got like real doubts. I think his injuries pretty severe and he was doing okay in camp. And i think he's going to be someone that they use that thing with so they can hold onto. Because i think he might have kind of a serious injury sear but one that would either take even. The dog agrees one. That would take when that would take you know eight weeks or up right so come back from so. I think that's where i'm gonna go with. I don't think i did i. I also had on here. Receiver aaron parker. Who's another one that he he. We had him last year. I remember. Yeah we caught him. Put him on the practice squad and then you know he's back. I haven't been hearing anything about him. Taking a guy like hammer probably get caught in the next round. Yeah we'll see.
Best Positions for the Cowboy's Free Agents in 2021 Season Draft
"Let's talk Cowboys on today's episode. I was talking about free agency. And and this is now the time of year to be talking for you to see if we're not talking about Dak Prescott and let me ask you if you could only because it's the Cowboys here and we're not going to get greedy. If you could only sign one position in free agency. What position would that be? Before so we're assuming that co-signed here or do I have to yes. Yes. Okay. So if I'm if I'm kind of like sweeping generalities one position, it's probably a cornerback. That's that's where I'm going. And I think that's where there's the the largest amount of options especially with the fact that both Judo and Jordan Lewis are departing and free agency. I think that's where the most shallow at the moment. I don't think there's like a safety that that makes you know, it makes me want to make a bagel. You know what I mean right now, like there's not that guy in this year's free-agency. So I'd probably go corner. What's yours free safety because there is that Gap there's lots of those guys. There's good depth of pool at free safety here with I mean Marcus May and John Johnson Marcus Williams, I mean Justin Simmons is my guy but I don't sure first of all he's going to he's going to make money and second of all he's probably not going to leave the Broncos, but I think there's four or five guys right now. 24 to 27 years old high high level free safeties that are probably gonna hit the market and that's that's without. You know, some of these other guys have the market inevitably because of Captain D's because the Caps going down but I'm not Corner would be second for me. I just think if there's one position to splurge and it's free safety cuz I like Trevon Diggs. I liked the Cowboys going heavy draft capital a first round pick in the corner position. So I think you can invest in in corner line back or defensive line offensive line in in the draft one position. I'm prioritizing it for you to be fifty. But I also like I wouldn't be mad if it was Corner either. Yeah.

Dallas Cowboys Offensive Line In Flux Due To Injuries
"Have lots of talk about as it relates the cowboys I just what I think of this team this year and the expectations after Jerry Jones finally made the gutting decision that led to Jason Garrett showing up the building every day with a binder underneath his arm and dutifully hoping that he would. Get a stay of execution cowboy fan celebrated not only the draft pick a CD lamb but a coach was skins. Mike McCarthy hasn't exactly translated into the season that they had hoped for, and we're expecting some of it has to do with injuries bobby and we'll get to those in a second but a lot of teams are having to deal with injuries this year. Yeah. I, mean, the team the cowboys have up here the browns they've got a lot of injuries to deal with I. Mean The seahawks had you know a lot of patchwork stuff that they were doing last Sunday against the cowboys and so injuries are an excuse they're not necessarily a good excuse though for this cowboys team I think they, they definitely are missing some guys. They probably feel a little bit like we're not gonNA know who we are for real until probably mid October when randy gets reinstated fully you get hopefully late and vander aeschbacher. Corner start getting healthy so. It may be a situation where the cowboys are kind of you know we're GONNA fight and we're GONNA get as best we can until we get healthy and that's not necessarily an excuse that they're giving. It's just this is the way it's gotta be, and we kind of make do a little bit because they are decimated in the secondary. They've had issues at linebacker they've you know had the issues along the offensive line they lost jar when they're starting tight end and So I, mean they've definitely. Had those issues the thing that they don't want. You, you can't really do anything about injuries. You just adapt as best. You can the thing they don't want his they can't have. Three drops and you know two and a half yards per touch from Zeke Elliott. They can't have Jalen Smith missing tackles consistently and still be sixty million dollar guy they can't have. Dak Prescott turning the ball over. They need to have him protecting the ball. They can't have you know some of these. Occasional Amari Cooper focus drops. You expect injuries you deal with those. What you can have is all of that and then along in the secondary, you can't have guys just making really low I q reads and busted covered just stuff that doesn't seem to be a factor of trying to learn a new defense. This just seems like flat out low I q stuff of not recognizing who's assignment is who's You know I think back to Jalen Smith's comment to a about. Throwing it out through a little bit. Maybe they need to simplify the playbook if our fans aren't familiar with that one, let's play that one real quick. People, find beams the defense could innocent the group. Absolutely. Absolutely. I. Believe. Allowing more allowing US more opportunities to Hound in on what? We're actually going to run in in our game plan. I believe it's important. That each and every player knows in and out what they have to do. With a smaller playbook, you you know gives us better opportunity to do that. And like I said this about as growing each and every week. On coaches are the same page, the players on the same page and we're just trying to do whatever it takes to get that much better. Each and everyone is that players that aren't capable of learning the playbook or is it possibly too complicated? I don't know but I, got to tell you for all the people that wanted Rod. Marinelli Outta here have been overly impressed with Mike Nolan's defense. Again, injuries are an issue, I mean you lose Gerald McCoy loosely Van Deresh. You lose your to starting Corner Anthony Brown, and Lucy, but even they were healthy in that first game. I didn't think this team look that good. No, and you know it's again it's one of those things where not even a mention he's been healthy for the season but Jordan Lewis missed all the camp. I. Sale. Yeah. Exotic Woods was a big part of your problem last Sunday against the seahawks but I think overall everybody's got to step up. You know it's funny. We had Had the funny line during training camp. When asked him do you think about opting out at all and he said, Nope, contract to your baby and there's a lot of guys back there right now in contractors Jordan Lewis Cheeto you've got exertive your woods is another one. And it's fascinating that they're seeming to have these issues not just with again, the adjustment or or or skill players opposite them it's they're just dropping the ball in terms of. Knowing really basic fundamental stuff that that should have been all ironed out already and and you can say, maybe that's a a an issue with you didn't have some of the same lead up time or some of the same work that you would normally get but everybody had those same sort of issues and and not everybody is having these same sorts of just busted coverage touchdowns. I. Think there's four already on the year that were just left wide open by somebody not knowing an assignment including three last week against the

"I think it I think it would elevate the even the starting cornerbacks talent pool. If you bring in Jordan Lewis Brown bringing either one day be one year three best cornerbacks. It's just I don't know of this. Coaching staff is GonNa play two guys that they see a slot cornerbacks on the outside and I think that <hes> Jordan Lewis is a definite definite slot corner like I don't think that you can really play him anywhere else. I think Anthony Brown may be may be can kick outside outside. He's got the speed <hes> he's he's five eleven. He's not like you know short. He's not super short or anything like that. I would be curious serious in him if he came free if they saw him as a boundary corner but Matt's right like they're they're not trying to just put their best three corners <music> out there. You know the best to corners out there in the base thereby kicking kindle fuller to the outside. They want him to play in the slot so you have to have somebody that's it's really going to be an upgrade overcharge various ward or Bershad Brielle and to move the needle there and I don't know that either one of those guys will be on the outside guys. You're not wrong at all and like I even mentioned in article. The problem is there's really like even the available or potentially available quarterback if you really look at it and just like it's slot guys. That's the problem. The problem is even if you're trying to upgrade the talent. The talent to be found is in the slot and it's these smaller guys that potentially could become available. That's what's so concerning concerning about this this this group and in what they're going to be able to bring in so you have to think about as far as a talent in production standpoint. A._M. Point like Brown and Louis might be of the of the smaller scale moves right now that that have some kind of track record at at all. It's probably those two you as far as a talent is a talent perspective. There's two other guys though that maybe you could make a move four and I want to start with and honestly neither these guys excitement. I don't know how much they moved the needle especially for this one trae Wayne's. You would have have to pay to acquire him. You'd have to pay nine million dollars and give away an asset to take trae Wayne's off of Minnesota's books so I will ask Mattie this question straight up Mattie twenty twenty one seventh round pick or twenty twenty one six fifth round pick one of those one day three selections. Do you give it up to have trae Wayne's in pay him nine and a half million dollars this year to be one of your cornerbacks Maksim useless selections at the end of Day three. Yes that's sure fine. I this wind time by one. I've been pretty vocal about not wanting trains. I don't I think he has been a good cornerback Minnesota Vikings. He is not good. He's entering. Your five in heat slightly turned a corner last year. According to some numbers Vikings Hi can spans just I don't see it. I don't think he's been a very good player. He's got a ton of physical talent. There's raw potential but when you've gone three four years in the N._F._l. and it's really really not started to hedge its way out. I get a little nervous that said the chiefs. cornerback room scares me to the point where I think it might be bad enough to cost cost eighteen. Th otherwise should be competing the super bowl. I think the cornerback room is that bad so if I'm only giving up six seventh round pick and I have the Patriot Wayne's nine million dollars nine and a half million dollars in I have that money like the chiefs do currently in yeah. I think I would do it. It would at least show me. The chiefs are trying. I think that's kind of big issue so far the chiefs at the cornerback position they aren't really trying or they haven't. I know they've broadened..

"He didn't see some things that were there, which you almost never see with drew Brees. But I think the Cowboys were pretty. Pretty well equipped to play against the saints. Because if you really look at the saints, and this is a trip tribute and credit to breeze and p and Sean Payton, but if you look at their personnel in the past game, I'm not talking about the run game. They've got Michael Thomas. They've got Kamara pretty much. Everybody else is. I mean, I don't think you look at them and say we better stop any of those other guys including tight ends when feel like they're going to beat us. So if the Cowboys, and they did feel comfortable lining up and playing man coverage which they played a lot of especially on third down. And they made a nice move playing dime, which they don't normally do. So they could get Jordan Lewis a corner on Alvin Kamara and they pretty much played man rushed for did their usual stunt games. Upfront and pretty much lined up in played and they were better than the saints. Skill players that night. It certainly also looked like Greg that drew Brees was never able to get comfortable. And I didn't know if that was because of the pressure from the Cowboys or just the job the Cowboys did being so physical with receivers at the line of scrimmage. Yeah. It was a combination. And I think that that's you know, they made that decision. They were gonna play man. And like, I said, you know, we have Michael Thomas. And then the thing is is the Cowboys. They don't their corners play sides. They didn't travel by Jones anywhere. He plays the right corner. Who's he plays left corner? There slot corner is Anthony Brown who said quietly a good season. You know, Jeff heath is odd to me. I mean, he's almost becoming an and I was thinking about this watching the Cowboys game, which I actually watched last Friday on tape. You know, in some ways he's almost becoming like Patrick Chung in the sense that every year with New England, and then he left New England for. Year and got run out of Philly in heartbe you'd say well, Patrick Chung is not really good enough. Not really good enough. Not really good enough..

"I mean, yes, I thought they have to do. Yeah. And on that, you know, when should obey went down Jordan Lewis when he came in and played a bulk of the snaps played quite well after not playing well in limited in limited reps. Now, you know, how if you about them how do you feel about? I think. Got to be with you. I mean, especially by the move to Byron from safety the corner. Aspen. Great for this defense. He's he's paid amazingly. He's played his arguably one of the best corner in the league. So far this season. He's using his linked to his advantage. I mean, he looks like he's in that actual corner and really been a huge boost Stevens we knew this defense has some talent. I mean, I think Byron's play has raised everybody else's game. Anthony Brown has been to be Frank Shaw. King. He had a pretty decent pretty good worke season kind of fell off the little bit last year. He was picked on a lot. He wasn't the same as he was bringing crystal schallert, and he sme-. Smi Bill were questioning his decision to play ham over Jordan Lewis who he himself had a pretty strong rookie season which worked out Anthony Brown's taken away the slot. He's playing very well. He's I mean, he's you spin gray season. I mean, I mean buyer and have been a great duo. For the Cowboys in the back end. Like, you said about, you know, be I mean, you kind of have to pick your poison back there, you can't attack Byron you you been hesitate Italian new brand away he's been playing. So you mean Luc's to last guy pretty much and then he's been playing. Well, I mean the lions game was kind of a nutshell of his season. He was in the right spot. But they're they afraid they had freak sat there when they add golladay and Tae, obviously, take move Dominy discussed that. But he put he has some good coverage. But they just made plays over him. I think I love to do as potential, and I think he can't very well be very good. So overall, give him a agree with you. I think they've been huge spot. I think this is the reason why the coun- we have one of the better defense in the league right now. I agree. And if they can start turning the ball over on thing. Yeah. I mean, I think that they could be a the top defense in they can turn the ball over. Now. It's about the safeties. What do you think? I'm not sure what to give a great for them. As far as I mean. They've had some good moments have had some Bob Moe's factor in death behind the starters. I know it's P tests and good moments. He's also had some moments were you're like what what's going on. Like, I believe it's a lion's game on his say could be. Yeah. Got shook out of his shoes over. Just that. But then he comes around in Jaguars game almost pick six. So you needs. I mean, Jeb he he's he is who he is. He's going to have to moments. You can ask them bad moments. Frazier start out at the year, pretty high. He is playing well, especially with would sidelines, and I do like woods, I think he adds element. Did. Does this defense will love this season goes on say a c they haven't jumped off to. Admi opinion day that done enough to be to be huge weakness. I mean, they've given up some scores and things of that nature. But I get to see what do you think? I'm right there with you. It's it's tough to to really pay too much attention to the safeties on this team because the rest of the defensive so good you want to watch the other levels of of the defense as. So I think I think he is pretty fair. They're definitely the weak link on the defensive side of the football. But I don't think that they're a cancer. Any? I don't think they're a fatal flaw or anything of that nature. I think they're good enough..

"We talked about the turnovers interceptions three weeks ago when and I mentioned that it calms, you know, they come in bunches if they continue to create duress on the quarterback rare get up Phil and create havoc. I mean, they will. They will find a way to get takeaways and all those type of things. But I really think that if the offense can continue, that's the biggest question Mark. I have no doubt that this defense will continue trending. In the way they are now going to go to Washington. That's gonna be different offense. Rang there. There are times whenever they give up big yardage, and sometimes you have to close the game. You can close. You can play for thirteen be can for four, three and a half colours. But you get down to that last part of the fourth quarter. That's when you're going to make some stops. And to this point may I don't think there's anyone. He knows a lot of defenses Anassa football league, but this defense, now's probably playing a better than any other defense in the national football. You know, you mentioned turnovers and somebody that had won for the second week in a row you. You talked about Jalen Smith force in that fumble, the person that recovered. It was joined Louis and again, two fumble recoveries in two weeks. Jordan was kind of forgotten man in the Cowboys secondary. He came in for a snap against the lions in golden Tate. Just I mean, cooked him. It was embarrassing. Jordan played really well, and I know she does. Has been ailing a bit. I think. I mean, the Cowboys have just I don't wanna caught an embarrassment of riches, but they have a lot of good problems that we talked about Sean Lee and Layton Vander. What did you do? I mean, you mentioned having a platoon of guys along the defensive line, and now you got Jordan Lewis plan. Well, you almost have too many corners. I mean, there is you know there there's a case to be made as you did. You know, Sean Lee relate vantage the case to be made along the defensive line. Oh, David, Irving, Collins, whatever. There's the case made a corner Cheeto Jordan Lewis. This is really cool. I mean, there's no other way to put. It's really cool and really good. I think that that's what you try to call his team to the drafts, or, you know, really for the draft, you really try to find death to different positions you bring in younger guys, develop them. So this is a, this is a great problem to have if you have death like the Cowboys, especially in the secondary. I mean, we, I don't think we've ever had that problem with too much death in the corners. We always look at the safety position. Byron Jones is playing to play. Well, you mentioned joyless Lois, you know, these young guys the, they're only going to get better. And I think the experience and Daniel to had the opportunity to make place. I think that's for player to be able to know that you know, I can do it and can do it at this high level confidence, confidences everything, especially as defense back. I mean you those guys are out there on an island asked to do a lot of different things play coverage. But you know, once you outside, if you break your conference in, it's really kind of hard to really gain that back for one. If you have debt someone else who's gonna come in and you're not gonna get a chance to get as many reps. But if you continue the trend of just continuing to do the right things and you know, I think it's a lot about luck also getting the takeaways. It's locked putting yourself in a right position, but you know, you need. You need some of that you need that football luck. Yeah. I mean, I know that there are three phases to a game, but I would say the fourth hidden phases luck as we talked about earlier the ball bouncing back Prescott hands after he dropped it twice, just dropped it..

How important was ice cream for you when you were child growing up? Initially, arts commit such an important part of everyone's life including mine. I remember we used to have the slow call cross cream place. Quarter qual- basic everyday does Kwa Kwa Stanford quick require is the name of the three docks from Mickey Mouse here, Hillary and Dewey. That's funny because we watching that last night quote, close, Huey, Dewey and doing. So that's the name that was an ice cream taste that I think that had had more kids around basically was more targets, but that was local. And this was in Austria, which is just on the coast afterwards as older and older, more especially Motors must have become sixteen seventeen, really, really high quality ice cream places started opened up and they were fantastic because you could see all the Lavarra tree. So whether making it, you could see the back and you could see the fresh ingredients arrive. Some of them were famous because it had a really wide range of flavors and some of them were really indulgent. Some of them had not that many flavors, but the Pacers had eight flavors. They were so good that people would still go the. What was your favorite flavor as a child? I always liked. So the chocolate flavors, the more creamy wants started making. I think I have a lot more appreciation for all the. Flavor. So appreciate the fruit ones. Not more and also wants to adjust interesting flavor combinations, and things are unusual. I wanted to ask you, what's the most wacky is unusual that you've made remade one that was a beer ice cream with a peanut prodding on. We also some other really wacky wants mine trying. That she really nice, I think was Honey ice cream with summit vinegar reduction on it. Yeah. Cyprian vinegar. So you've talented, but then you've got the sweetness. So it's like, yes, like sweet and sour this in a course I did initially, so we're not to make it. And she there is one is worth that pecorino which is a type of sheep cheese is like parmesan speckling and that with black pepper. So that was a was cool. Gastronomic ice cream. So Spacey savory ice per Lewis, you like coffee? I do. I do Kofi. I would've thought that coffee would have been your favorite coffee? I do is actually sort of a really, really strong coffee. So it's a Italianised presto, fifty percent of the ice. Cream is actually Espresso. It gets real kick. You have end of about two shots of coffee per scoop. My daughter loves more. Do you make mauka ice cream? Not yet, but if they want, they can always have chocolate and coffee. The other really interesting thing that I found about Wallace learnt and started making ice cream. "Maybe he turns into a steve smith steve smith senior type not the not the giant steve smith but those are probably your two options at receiver at this point a lot of people would say sutton's a richer i don't think sutton's reach here i think sutton's a first round talent i think he goes first round but that's i don't have as big problem with teams reaching some people either if you have a need and there's a player on the on the board who fits the need and you can take them that's that's the draft that's what the draft is four now could you've traded back and maybe got a little bit more yeah mean you could say that about anything at any point but i have i can never fall to team if filling a need when one is obviously philip well right there i don't think they have a lot of other needs to worry about gary i don't i don't other than maybe a replacement for jason witten at some point developmental tied in which they tried that with martellus bennett he's kind of it wasn't going to replace whitten but he was going to be their developmental tight end that was so long ago now they really haven't then needed gavin escobar after you're right they did ask a bar this'll be really haven't had that worked out but that does that's no reason it's only two guys it's not a big sample size it's no reason to not take one now maybe you would do that but their defense they've gotten more young guys ready to contribute than any defense in the nfl jordan lewis and trudeau be woozy at cornerback xavier woods came along at safety last year jalen smith at linebacker and then taco charlton their first round pick a year ago at defensive end i mean the there's a bunch of guys waiting in the wings right there to step up in they need them to of course if some of these guys don't than they got issues but their roster has been pretty well addressed overall.

"Who demarcus for it so david irving what bossi that he tends to get the most out of the least and i don't say that as a knock against these players but in a cowboys aren't exactly drafting first well because the power uh but what i saw last night bill you saw that second round pick judo we see a really step up at cornerback anthony brown just really wasn't giving them the production that they were looking for but then also anthony brown stepped up last night though he create a little competition they're going to certainly need that because it looks like uh it it looks like early the schedule but an injury issues that they may don't have him so good to see cheeto get those reps and then possibly see anthony set back in and then i love scene guys like jordan lewis savior would step up what you're getting and taco charlton for that matter finally seeing this rookie class step up and have a little swag i mean a lot he's get guy came from speaking programs there used to winning i know that this stretch it's been frustrating for them talk which open at that an incredibly frustrating season with all the expectations you tip we have for a first round defeat but first rather different the why that uh it was nice to see him to get into the game get his confidence up i i think they've got the foundation for a really good team next season and and i'm not trying to look ahead of it obviously there they still have a shot at the play off but i think getting those guys in there at least gives you a civil it's up what this team provoke like next year especially when they're healthy or foreign what you grow this friday parred trends to skew pretty offense of line heavy and you've got probably my favorite group in the nfl what does it mean to have those guys all backed out there hole and together for one game after the run of injuries and otherwise that this group dealt with for a lot of the season.

"The is script talked about this defense we'll maclay finally draft employers for this style the defense and and rod merit ellie style and i'm telling you the vata the pieces there they get their jaylen smith coming back from notre dame which was in another masing picked by jerry and and uh and we'll mcclay you know to believe in this kid in and you know it with a drop foot and all that and to see him play like he did yesterday was fantastic so no absolutely not i think uh you know they set the tone for the game the run in the ball well but i mean you have two hundred sixty five yards of offense you know what halftime to forty and that's pretty good beat down and that's a team that that had their way with dallas last year so let me pile on before you go remember they don't have their best pass rusher david irving as you said one of the largest human being overseen on biggest auto ever seen so he's gone for four games jordan lewis is going to be a top cornerback in this league stolen minute thirdround because he had a domestic abuse issue hanging over his head than got cleared but he's had a hamstring so he was inactive last night so he can participate and then all of a sudden scandal buses hand again and you know scanning oil and eat broken up before so he's gone by halftime and they're playing the kid a woozy a from colorado whose second round pick but still you're just throwing them into the fire against their eli manning and then you know anthony hitchens is not there for eight games because he broke his knee basically fractured his knee so there they don't even have their components in place but the system is good enough.

"So incredibly they did this i want just frame what happened last night they did this without their best pass rusher david irving who suspended for the four first four games as you know they did it without what i thought was a steel of a third round pick jordan lewis has got a pulled hamstring and has not been available through much of the preseason in jordan lewis is on his way to becoming their best cornerback their best cornerback right now is named orlando skanderbeg and they did it the whole you said it was only three to three in the second half skander it couldn't even play in the second half he broke his and before the first half ended and is gone now they think they're going to get them back ayala who probably have to play with some kind of cast on but he's going to have to have surgery for a second time on the same left hand and still it was three to three in the second half and he like couldn't even take advantage of no orlando scanners request of give you the moment of magic can cope who hate to interrupt you but how many off if it was do you think the cowboys are going to play a gift that will be equal to or worse than the judge the giants have the best defence and pro football that's all i know how they do how many teams will the cowboys face the heavy worst or equalling operative line have to go down the schedule but i told you all year i'm not being a hypocrite this isn't 2020 eyesight i told you there terrible on in the offense of line eric flowers is a liability demarcus lawrence you kept saying it's going unit be available zegar yes he's going to be available i think he was really available free lie last night because he was all over in from the start of the game am i right okay and by the way they also did it last night with that anthony hitchens who's one of their better linebackers and he's gone for the first eight games wait until these guys start to get healthy and that defense is going to start to get real healthy a good thing for me the most opposi.

"He he was he was not indicted end jordan lewis that the move reims a former michigan will renew drive by the cowboys he went to trial and was found not guilty it's it's a little scary i think just the fact that this many accusations are being made that the legal system is ultimately deciding don't really have merit that's mean to any type of domestic abuse is very scary period within the flip side of that is accusations of domestic abuse that are evidently unfounded it's pretty scary to cut it seemed like debts becoming more and more prevalent he's a thoughts on charges head coach anthony lin and what he told philip rivers antonio gates regarding lithuanian tomlinson's hall of fame ceremony i'm okay with it the initial headlined by of you know win won't let gates our rivers go to any talent ceremony that i was like oh that's a bad idea but then do you realize the truth which is that rivers and going gators and that saturday night the chargers have their first open practice at their new stadium at least their new temporary stadium to step up center and they're going against the rams their new crosstown rival dad's a tough one to not have your starting quarterback philip rivers immediate it because it then it's one leave you don't have antonio gates and you know hunter henry gets most of the first team action and he got another tight end that can fillon but you don't have your your started quarterback it just.

"He's some bad news for the dallas cowboys over the holiday weekend starting quarterback nolan carol arrested for dwi not good i mean they they let morris claiborne and brandon cargo in free agency and they're obviously counting on known carol to be a major contributor for them i mean they gave the guy a three milliondollar signing bonus and i think that they expect him to be a starter and he will and i think it should be noted that it seems like more recently with dwi duis the nfl takes more of a wait and see approach to see what the facts are you know how the case is adjudicated before they issue any type of discipline so evidently nolan carol did a blood sample i think i saw somebody tweet that he had a blood sample and that will come back in about four weeks and i don't know what what there is to say after that i mean if you do a blood sample i guess they either know whether you at your over the limit or you weren't at any rate not good for them i think we all recognize that it's not good for the cowboys they're looking to pair him up with anthony brown and skin trick and then they took couple kids in the draft like a a woosie in jordan lewis but they're counting on known carol the point i would make though is even if the case is adjudicated before the season starts.

"And now i'm like well how you still kinda don't have a quarterback throw to him because i think kaiser is in trouble being with the browns so i think at the beginning they looked really good really smart picks and then as we kept going they just got worse just colleague football season yeah overall i thought i thought they did pretty well you know slur choice going geir i i don't mind picking gebriel peppers and the tight end for miami new giokoo a believes i say it us peppers the thing that's gonna worry me is he's on a really bad defense and it's going to be very easy for him to get exposed you know he doesn't have jordan lewis or some of these other defensive backs at michigan had that if he got caught looking in the back field or went up and played the run they were going to be fine in men coverage innocuous bar where in the nfl with the browns defense he's going to have to be a little bit smarter it's going to be a development period like at his for a lot of these guys but i i do like those two picks tightened pick i'm not mad at the pick i'd rather them go tight end there then quarterback which they did at fifty two i still think that was a reach overall though and then they got that that de tackle from charlotte not a not a terror will pick either but they need to you know four through seven i think they need to continue to address the defense a lotta quarterbacks when off the board so though it's pretty thin now towards the tail end of the draft but i think they need to continue to go after the defense for sure yom with you there i think defense late we talked about before i think it's the most important.
