"Than Jordan. And, maybe some other guys on the team. Who was the source for Sam Smith's book? No one cared was a great book. We're over it. We have the documentary. It doesn't matter what happens. That was thirty years ago and people have been saying pointing at Horace for that long about it's only Jordan was the only one who said this and yes, horses right? You do need multiple sources, but you have admitted. Admitted to being close friends with Sam Smith. So what do close friends do they talk? And as far as the word snitch goes Jordan snitch on the traveling cocaine circus. You only snitch if you were part of it and then you're trying to pointed at somebody else. Jordan on Kera out of his face that he wasn't a part of it. He has an obligation to protect them. Also, it was well documented. Just door Jordan didn't even suggested in anything like he came out like yeah guys weren't doing cocaine women. It was told him it was called traveling cocaine circus and he'd allowed. You'd never even heard that before. No Jordan didn't bring the story up. Jordan acknowledged. Yes, it was firmed. It doesn't mean you're snitching me and you were running around stealing cars all around La and the authorities come and find me, and I say Yeah it was Colin. That's a snitch. But if you're stealing cars and I see you stealing cars, and they coming to ask me and I confirm that you were stealing cars. It's not a snitch. As a fact you were stealing is stealing cars now I can choose, not tell them. That doesn't make me Snitch I. Still think what you just did. Though would get your wack job. Well. Yeah, but I don't you know? I'm I. Avoid those situations, also it just. He doesn't have an obligation to protect. That circus doesn't make him a SNITCH. I knew that this would happen. Because people think that this story was really about the bowls because it's called the last dance, it's Jordan's documentary is not going to happen without him anyway. We'll talk more about the story on joy. Chat this afternoon on Caffeine. Download it free APP and subscribe to the Fox sports channels at three thirty, so teddy bridgewater signed a three year sixty three three million dollar deal to be the panthers starting Boorda very reasonable number, and I hope he's succeed. Peter King how great it feels to finally have another starting job in the league. He said it's a blessing to be back in this position that I'm in having someone believing you having an organization that believes in you and gives you the keys and said here. This is your opportunity. That's all I've asked for. How come he's never on this show? Nobody likes Teddy Bridgewater in America outside of his parents more than me. How.

"The iheartradio APP Walbrook when he left the University of Washington held twenty of the schools records. Great College quarterback six years in the NFL now a very successful talk show host in Seattle College football analyst for us doing our Fox sports stuff brought. You're joining me via the coward. Global Satellite Network so many NFL and college issues to talk about You know it's interesting. Brock College football is always felt a little regional to me. The south views it differently as the west the passions greater and. I look at the SEC. And I think brock they're just gonNA have a season and they don't even care what anybody else is doing and in the PAC twelve. I think it's largely up to what the governor of California allows for large gatherings. Do you feel optimistic today. Going forward. We'll have a season west. Maybe maybe not quite so much down South yes down South. They like to say does a one legged ducks swimming in a circle. I learned that from my buddy deems may who played in North Carolina and yes that one leg duck swims in circle and the SEC. I think will play. They're moving forward. Heck they're voting to to get their kids back on campus either June first or June fifteenth call. And so I am curious though your guy like me. The grew up in the North West was always this regional. Because when I played twenty some years ago I never thought of it nearly as regional. Yeah there was the blue bloods. There was Notre Dame and Michigan Ohio State. Sc or they're always blue bloods but it just didn't feel as regional as a player twenty twenty five years ago as it does now can't disagree with you. It is so regionalized so passionate down south and the West Coast is certainly chasing that passion. Well I think a Lotta that brock is actually the infiltration of professional sports to the northwest. I grew up in the seventies it was basically the Husky football. And then you get the mariners then you get the seahawks then you get the sonics or in in no particular order then you get the mls in Los Angeles to NFL teams. We didn't have any any five years ago. We have new soccer teams. We have The clippers the Lakers are both great. So I I do think pro sports out. West is really formidable as a distraction for college sports. That's part of it now. I want to ask you when when you look at the practice time that would be needed. Go back to the Washington days in maybe in the NFL. Less or more maybe in college it's less or more having played in both college football. How many weeks do you need? Nfl football how many weeks a practice do you need? That's a good question because they're very different. Colin physically is a young guy. Eighteen to twenty two year absolute prime. I mean if you get to work in that off season and that summer program and these guys are so much more advanced. I was just out in the field up here in the northwest and saw some college kids working out was reminded what it's like to be in that kind of shape and run forever and and so. I think from a fitness strength training standpoint in. It's much more year round in college even even more so now than it was twenty years ago. I don't think calling. It takes more than two or three weeks physically to get themselves ready to go the NFL's different right the NFL. You're taking care of bodies but it's so much more mental. The schemes are so much more diverse young players coming into these advanced schemes. Have such a harder time. So it's almost the inverse. I think it's easier physically much easier in college to get yourself ready to go in the. Nfl does that mental side. Where these rookies are missing out so much and I are going to be so far behind win. Ever and how much overtime they do end up getting a camp. I'm a huge fan of Russell Wilson. I think I'm a fan of any athlete that I think is underappreciated. Last three years he has the most touchdown passes in the NFL by fifteen brady a second yet today wants reportedly his. He wants to Russell Wilson Contract and I don't think Seattle runs a sophisticated offense. I frankly don't I think I think Russell Wilson should have much more say in the offense. Why do you think he is underappreciated? Sometimes it feels like this two weeks ago there was a Cam Newton rumor. He feels underappreciated. Sometimes in his own building. Because you're still five ten and five eighths. You're still a third round pick. I mean that those labels for some reason stick a lot longer and have stuck a lot longer russell than than you're right than his resume ever speaks to call them. We've had you on our radio show for years and years and years screaming and I can remember that we played your clips way back. When when you're like this guy is a star arm? A athleticism a toughness a winner. A He's off the charts right in all of those things and in man. Did he ever have to fight for year after year after year after year in his own locker room? First and foremost and I think that's a part of a Colin. I think the first half dozen years of his career he had to fight the Richard Sherman's and the Doug Baldwin people in that in that locker room right. You're talking about nationally getting the credit these do how about in his own building really wasn't until this year when Doug moved out and richards out marshawn while he came back at the end but it was his team. I mean clearly his team and he had the greatest year of his career. He was phenomenal one of the best players in the NFL. I think that's part of it. When you gotTa Win over Your Locker Room Right. I mean Tom Brady did that. You're one with the backpack. Once he started winning like sorry drew. I love you but this is my team and it was while look at Tom. He's he's great. Everybody loves him. He didn't have to win over that locker. Room for six plus years as Russell has gone. I think that's an important part of the narrative in wise always felt like you said the climate appeal battle. I'm a believer. That Bella check wanted Brady back this year and they were surprised when he left and yet a couple years ago when Brady was younger and to me a little bit more dynamic come off a great super bowl performance against Atlanta Bella. Check was ready to bail on him for. Garoppolo now couple years later. Tom's not quite as dynamic dynamic coming off a marginal by Tom. Standards Season and Belichick wanted him back. That tells me the Jarret. Stidham isn't as great as all the reports. I keep hearing. I saw him in college. I thought he was okay. You saw him in college. I mean everybody keeps telling me Jarrett Stidham this that. What is he and how good he well. He's good right going back to that report card that we just used and looked Russell and you and I could evaluate early on at this guy was a star in the making jared systems arm be athleticism be size be toughness. I think he's a tough. I think he's a tough guy and he's had move around. And he's got some grits at some determination but one concern. I always have fair or unfair biased or not is just a sense of urgency out of some of those southern quarterbacks and is there just that sense of urgency. Like I'm GonNa take this thing over. This is my team. It's it's now or never. There's just a real laid back nature at times down there in the south with some of their quarterbacks over the years now he has the one head coach that will light that urgency flame every single day. Every practice did with Tom for two decades certainly is cranked. It up on Jarrett in must feel like he's got that that toughness but I would agree with you as far as the raw goods go. I don't think even comparing him to Jimmy Garoppolo in all of those areas arm athleticism size. I don't think he checks as many boxes Jimmy Das. Yeah finally I. You grew up with a lot of brothers. In a family in your. You may not have a massive physical bill very very tall. But you're a tough guy because you're a football guy and I think Damon your brother was actually also a very good basketball player. I'm not sure if you were. But he was a very good basketball player. You come from a family of boys and banging into each other and tackling in the backyard and I think that's a huge component to football. Just don't look at guys weight height. Do you have the mentality to hit and to be hit into block to be blocked? Big tough guys often. Don't so there's a story out that Lebron James Dallas cowboys wanted it and I think wait time timeout. I Watch Lebron James. He'd rather shoot a twenty eight footer. Then attack Roy Hibbert six years ago in the NBA. That Lebron's big and strong. But I don't think he understands. I don't think he would have been a football player on the NFL. I don't think that's his makeup. Your thought everybody just assumes six nine runs well NFL player. Did you ever play with guys? Who had the looked the part but just didn't want to get hit. Yeah lots of you know. You're talking about growing up man. We broke doorframes member those old NERF hoop hoops doorframes. We broke those hoops. We broke the door frames this nights that will scar here. Forty stitches running into another dude on a basketball court split my chin broken nose. You're right I mean you just kind of rough and tumble and and mom. Grandma peg would be screaming. Stop playing football and you're gonNA break lamps and couches and all that yeah. I do think that there is something to now by no means if any of my former teammates watching. They're all going your quarterback. What do you know about getting hit? But you know that physicality I think the other challenge is where would Lebron play like you watch Allen Iverson and his old high school tape? You're like that's Sean Jackson. Talking off the air about Dwayne Wade yet. That's really nice size for wide receiver. Where would Lebron play at six foot? Eight to sixty five tight ends. Maybe flex him out as a tied in. Maybe maybe but yeah. I wouldn't sign off on that and say that's for sure he'll at that joy. Our theory on this is right if you grow up with a bunch of brothers your brake lamps and break your forehead. That's why you've never been in a fight fight. Yeah joys been in a bunch of fights and I'm I'm a pacifist. Yeah Lebron like you to say that to him and say you know you're just run from people. Well he's telling me that force would feel like brought cured. I love having you as a teammate. Good talking to you buddy. Thanks calling always alright. Well he's he's really good he is. He's one of those athletes turned broadcasters. Slick you listen to him on a broadcast like a play by play analyst job which is the toughest job in American sports casting football analyst three hundred times in three hours say something smart Eight seconds. I can just talk and all liberal. They don't have to ever stop except for her line. News Brock really good teaching about football. All the time is really good. That is the hardest job. It's Joe. Buck is great as he is. He can follow the action. Troy Aikman's got wait for joy to briefly. Joe To briefly stop and then troy has to be brilliant in eight seconds and then asked to stop talking because the play starting the football analyst guy and football every play manner so you can't just talk overplays you have to stop talking for the other guy to go it. It's hard that's why play by play. Color Tandems are so important to get him. Great Chemistry Really Great Chemistry. All right joy Taylor with the news on the news. This is the headline news right. Horace grant is firing back at claims Michael.

"You need to stop going out late at night and show up on time, and whoever makes that speech is usually the one who's out the latest. Time! Yeah. I always find that was talk show host who were moralists always got skeletons all over their closet. That's why join iron, not more or less joy. We go out late night absolutely not. I barely sleep Yup all right now. Be a moralist, because pretty much. No, thank you very much finally. Let me ask this. Are you optimistic today about the potential for an NBA season? Mary optimistic, I think everyone wants to play players owners, and obviously we have to do it in a smart way, but the momentum is there and I think the only thing maybe holding us back now is it as things get smartly rolled out and opened up in the Bundesliga is playing. If there's some material setback that could affect things, but otherwise it's just a matter of when and how for us to to play. Daryl Maury, it's great senior Repin. The rockets James Harden Shirt I love that and the rockets hat and we'll get him a razor soon. He'll shave soon. It just mattered definite a razor, and if another dress up, this is great so. Good seeing you daryl. Thanks for calling. Smart Guy Rockets GM. We've all been spending more quality time with family hanging out together. Get to the grill rack tech grills. These are amazing game changer.

"I Know Darryl has been doing social distancing because I see that beard and I know you have mostly been at home so let me start with this. I heard you could not watch the last dance because it was too painful for you. Is that true? There's absolutely true so grew up in Cleveland Cavaliers on that list of Utah Jazz. We were Am I had when I was a young kid? A young kid. We were the best team in the League and this Guy Jordan kept knocking. They'd beat US five times and eight years something from the playoffs. See Scottie Pippen told me privately. Once I asked him a question I said. Who's the best team never got credit? He goes Cleveland was so physical and so long he goes. We struggled it was it was so meaningful to beat Cleveland. Because the we really it was a bad match up. They were longer than us. Almost nobody was now in the documentary. That you did not see Jerry. Krause comes off pretty poorly. I've argued this. Gm's a tough job. You have a billionaire above you. You gotta deal with agents all day you gotta deal with star players. Part of being a good agent is being conciliatory. Is being social? Is it fair to say Jerry? Krause was lousy at that and therefore his reputation is well earned. Well He. He made a lot of good moves. I respect that he also came from baseball like I did. That was my my where I came. I spoke to him twice before he passed. Rest in Peace Jerry. But I would say and I've said what you just said privately to people. If you love your best player not liking you then you are not doing a good job by definition that is if you have a job in the NBA. That is status job. One the other doves are are to get great players around but the of your best player not with you. Then that's that's GonNa that's GonNa limit your ability to win now. Jordan was so amazing and pippen was amazing and the other players were so amazing that they won despite that but there needs to be a good relationship between ownership the GM the coach and the top player. Or I've I've not seen teams win by the way you're wearing a t-shirt shirt. What's on the T shirt right now? It's my heart and me at there. Okay so I said this the other day because there was a story that James Harden was not on a conference call with players and I said I've loved the NBA. Since one thousand nine hundred. Ninety two I was the kid that collected basketball cards. Not Baseball cards. And I said James Harden may go down is a better version of George Gervin posters nickname legend scoring titles. But he's a little bit to some guys as a solo act got his own shot got his own move. And that's credible you get rich. You get popular and everybody loves George Gervin but could I make an argument with harden. It is possible that he is built. It's a different game. It's got a George Gervin. Quality and that may not acquit two tons of titles. Well we're GONNA win titles so then that'll kill your argument. That's my that's my plan. I would say the two stories have made me realize how hard your job is right now. Colin was the. Who's on the Group? Phone call story because we got nothing else to talk about the other. One was Kanye eliminated. Tea made from your group text if they use android that was like a lead story. So I feel for you guys without lives. Were hurt stories so you don't necessarily listen. How often do you talk to James? What is your relationship we talk? We talk all the time if you're not if again if you don't have a good relationship and he doesn't feel like he's part of what he's creating to win a title he needs to be bought in and feel like he's a part of everything and the good thing is he's incredibly smart and so is so is. Russell and incredibly dedicated team. And we've had the incredible run that you just talked about the opener That you know is just short of a title so far A big part of the just house Martin Allen. How how much James Wants to win and how much he feels bought into everything. That's being done here. Daryl Morey rockets GM. So I ask people this all the time when they're part of something unique money balls my favorite sports movie of All time the Billy Bean Story. I read the book Michael Lewis. I love it. I've said I'm into analytics but I also believe you have to acknowledge man Olympics that you're dealing with people don't reduce them just a numbers. These are young men. Who are they got some ego and they got some pride. Don't reduce them numbers. But I want you to take me back. Because you've been on the forefront of of this analytic drive. What was the car ride? The day the moment the practice the moment daryl that you said to yourself wait a minute wait a minute. The three shot is not used enough. There had to have been a moment a plane. Ride a book a graph. Do you remember what it was and where it was? Yeah absolutely so I I sort of out of the Blue Guide job interview with the rockets in two thousand six. I didn't know this but the rockets than looking for a replacement for Carroll Dawson was a fantastic GM but was looking to step away and Before I went into that interview I said I have to find something to make me. Stand out from the group that they're looking at and obviously it wasn't like shocking. Another three point shots are worth more than two and you could look at the percentages. That wasn't the thing. The biggest thing was like looking at it in a systematic way and seeing things like if you go to for six for three. It's the same as going three for six for two and there's an extra rebounded that you can get as well. So there's there was such an inherent advantage that to build to build your structure around being efficient and at the end of the day. That's your job is. Your job is a score more points than the other team and you need to do that. Every time down the floor so shitty more threes than preventing them and Jeff Van Gundy. It is credited my first year we we led the League in three pointers in the very first year. That that he and I worked together when I came to to Houston. Jeff's sort of like an underrated sort of understanding of all these things in the talks that team but and then over time. Now we've sort of moved towards it then Mike Dantonio with his offensive minded his genius. He's taken it to yet another level and really just one of the all time. Greats teams was keeping us from one and a hamstring probably kept us from title. Yeah Gerald Maurice joining us you know in the documentary heard a lot of stories about guys couldn't play with MJ today. Current players couldn't play and I think there's a lot of nonsense because I think players to win that's why so many. Nba Stars take less money. They want to win Games and Michael. Wood a one games. The bronze not always easy to play with. He attracted some players so Akeem did play with Barclay and pippen and I remember going back. A lot of it wasn't easy. Now that was a situation where Barkley Akeem and pippen may have just had different personalities. But you know Akeem well. His his he ever told stories about that group of guys that are memorable. He hasn't I think it came would even say that he's gone through a transformation where he was navy. Tough teammate. More early. He was still. I know tough on certain guys like Matt Bullard. He's told me a lot of stories as well but yeah now the the Barclay Pippen teams in particular there. Are there quite a bit of stories? I I remember one and I won't say who like one of the players would say I'll you guys? You need to stop going out late at night and show up on time. And whoever makes that speech is usually the one who's out the latest research. Yeah I always find that was talk show host. Who were moralists? Always got skeletons all over their closet. That's why join iron joy we go out late night absolutely not. I barely sleep. Yup All right now a moralist. Because Pretty Much. No thank you very much. Finally let me ask this. Are you optimistic today about the potential for an NBA? Season very optimistic. I think everyone wants to play players owners and obviously we have to do it in a smart way but momentum is there and I think the only thing maybe holding us back now is it as things get smartly rolled out and opened up in. "Very Very Funny Guy Brought Cure Fox sports college. Football do sounds like we're GonNa get college football at joy. Taylor is joining me. See Joy we were talking about this whole thing about Lebron could plan the. Nfl might take away his Lebron's big and strong. He's not physical enough. He doesn't even like plan center in the NBA. He's the biggest strongest guy in the NBA. These launch and three pointers. He doesn't Dwayne Wade. Dwayne attack the basket. Because the Wayne's tough don't confuse and you add a line about big tough. Everything's big guys are tough guys and you said Big Tree Fall Big Tree Fall Heart. You go to these. Ufc fights some of these guys are five seven and a half one hundred forty pounds and they could knock out six foot four guys knock him out because sometimes mean you see it in the NFL to like this running backs who are completely unassuming in public without pads on but they would literally run directly over you. Just run over you physically. Is this like how you're built on the inside like I don't really like pain? I'm not Ray Lewis Ray Lewis's five nine and a half you don't look at Ray Lewis. And then all of a sudden you see ray and you see the chassis is the way he looks at Union talents. Mike Tyson's one of the shortest heavyweight champion of all time. And you certainly don't want those problems. Yeah it's like some guys aren't built to get hit or hit by the way Rob Parker was on the show. Yesterday was talking about why he brought up a great point. This idea that nobody wants to play with Michael. Kevin Durant couldn't play with Michael. Nobody could play with Michael Jordan. Here's Rob Parker interesting point yesterday if anything. Nobody wants to play. Lebron I mean Paul. George turned down twice. Kawai letter would have had an easy street to come to. La To play with Ad and Lebron with the Lakers. He turned that down. Kyrie Irving won a championship. Will O'Brien ASKS FOR TRADE? And the only guy who was able to come play with almost like a star and nobody wanted to come to. Cleveland. That's why went to Miami an ad that was an agent thing because he signed with the with Lebron's agent he. He's not wrong on any of that stuff. That's not factually wrong. Here's the thing I would say Lebron to win a championship. You generally have third really good player. The third player on the Braun teams always gets marginalized Kyle. Kuzma was eighteen. A game joy. We thought he was going to be potentially an all star. Lebron comes to town. He averages twelve game he is just a guy. He's a throw in trade peace. He's just a guy in the leak Chris. Bosh was twenty five and ten in Toronto. He went down to eighteen. A game scored zero in one of the championship games. Zero Kevin. Love went from twenty-five five game to sixteen totally marginalized the third because Lebron has to have the ball in his hands. And Lebron wants bigs incentives. I mean Anthony Davis the whole talk was before he became a Laker. Anthony Davis is the second best player. Maybe the best player in the League. You see him with a bronze you watch the games I do. He scores a lot but nobody talks about him. Being the second best our best player in the League it's Koyi it's Janas Lebron some say harden. Nobody's talking Anthony Davis now. Lebron's got the ball in his hands. Lebron is the system now. People say Michael Jordan couldn't couldn't be coached or he played in. The triangle fought the triangle when he won a he puts his arms around Phil Jackson and Phil Jackson. The first championship says to him. You want it the right way. What does that mean? It means you want it in my system. You were coach. -able did it the right way. It wasn't just about you. Lebron's never stood up for a coach like that or had that kind of coaching connection. Because Lebron is the system. That's why the third guy always feels lost rebuke or talked about. Lebron said I could have been Scottie. Pippen with Michael Jordan played together and Rick Baker. Talk about that Ron shaped this in that I could've been Scott is welcoming himself to be Scottie. Pippen and the people that have talked to in the League and said yes. He he could've been. He would've been Scotty pippin on steroids. He wanted to be the facilitator. He didn't want to be the GO-TO guy at the end of games. He could have filled that role. And if he comes into the League as the number two to Michael Jordan maybe we never get there but at this stage the way he described Scottie. Pippen you would've thought Scottie. Pippen was the driving force of that team. I don't I think Lebron Michael Jordan. I don't think it works because I think Michael at some points like Bro. I'm the better player like I am the better player and I'm not GonNa have you have the ball and only pass when you feel it's right so I I don't think they would play together. I think Lebron is tougher to coach and tougher to play within. Everybody says and I think he's great but this idea that Michael's impossible to play with and Lebron's easy to play with Mike Owen. Six for six. He played with a lot of different kinds of guys he could. He played with Crazy Guy Rodman. He played with European star coach. He played with slasher immature guy. At Times Scottie Pippen. He played with marginal players. He played with a Horace Grant. A Steve Kerr Ron Harper. Who is a start another team? Michael Play with a variety of players with a very strong coach Phil Jackson who had a system you had to fit into. Michael was amenable to change. Lebron hasn't shown inability all of his number three guys get marginalized all of them. He is the system by the way a lot of criticism about this documentary. And I said this to start the show everybody looking to the documentary and trying to pick holes in it. It was great. We all watched it. We all loved it. No reasonable person didn't like it and enjoy it. It was fun. I do get some people. Carl Malone's like I don't want to watch. It's too painful. I get that Reggie Miller is like I didn't watch it. Why would I wanNA WATCH ME LOSE? It was the worst time in my life. I get that but Horace Grant criticizing the documentary saying basically I mean Michael's got basically. He's calling it a fake documentary talk Barclays. They've been friends for over twenty thirty years and he said something about Michael's management With the Charlotte Bob Kesling Harnett. And then they haven't spoken since then. My point is that he said I wouldn't snitch. But yet still after thirty thirty five years. He brings up his rookie year going into One of his teammates Rhone in San Coke and weed and women. Why why the hell that? He wanted to bring that up. What what's that got to do with anything? I mean if you want to call somebody and SNITCH. The there there can. That's the wrong. He went on to say he called the last. Dance A so-called documentary. He said some of pointed to the fact that Jordan's closest confidants were executive producers Jordan had final say and creative control over the projects project. Although Jason Harris denied that Michael watched it but he didn't have control creative control stop. Michael didn't change anything first of all. What did you feel manipulated when you watch the documentary? I didn't I feel manipulated by that dumb article. The Guy in New York wrote about Michael Jordan documentary. He's trying to manipulating me into believing that. Michael's miserable and lonely and empty. That's manipulation. I never I never felt manipulated by the way the gambling stuff they talked about it. They talked about it. Did a segment on it like five ten minutes on it. The Steve Kerr fight. They talked about his dad's death. Painful talked about it. Michael Jordan's mean Michael Jordan. Basically broke down the documentary. They talked about everything. I never felt one time. I was fooled or manipulated by the documentary. I do understand that documentaries. It's visual so if you don't have video of certain things you can't go fifteen minutes about an incident. If you have no video of the incident they probably would have gone. Longer on Steve. Kerr if they had the video of Steve Kerr which nobody has. So I feel much more manipulated and and tricked and more agendas reading about the guy writing about the documentary than I do. The documentary second of all to get you gotta give if you the Shack and Penny thirty for thirty. You know who the executive producers were shacking penny to in the world. We live in today if you're GONNA do Jay Z. Beyond say doc. They're going to have to sign up on it because they have all the footage or most of it. That's the reality today. Documentaries you go to the people to get the access and the interviews. Otherwise you're doing a documentary. How good is this documentary? If Michael doesn't talk it's not the same documentary if Michael. Says I'm not talking my mom's not talking about the same documentary. They were the two stars of it. I thought so it's like all journalists have sources right. Let's just talk. Journalism all have sources. I have them. That doesn't mean. I never criticize them but I criticize a more softly. I do it with honey. Not Vinegar Right Right. That's how I have sources. I have to criticize people from time to time. Who are my sources? But there's a way to land the punch a secondly. Who Do you think's GonNa do the Lebron ten part documentary springhill entertainment? Lebron's company is going to do it. You think Lebron's not going to have final say on it so I. I never once felt manipulated. I hear this whole thing. Well Peter Vesey where wish Peter Vesey Peter? Vesey was known as an NBA insider. You didn't need you. Had Sam Smith who was even more of a bold insider. Sam Smith covered the bulls exclusively. So you got Sammy insider. You had David Aldridge ahead. Some media guys Bob Costas. You didn't need a fourth and fifth guy. Bessie was an NBA insider. But we had the bulls insider. That's what you're looking for. Access to. Michael Guy wrote a book about Michael so I never these documentaries. I never watched at once and thought hiding all sorts of stuff. Everybody kept telling me. Oh they're not gonNA talk gambling. They did. They're not gonNA talk. Steve Kerr fight did it do not GonNa Talk About Michael? Being mean they did talked about all of it at all of it. Also don't confuse journalism for entertainment. They're two very very very very different. Things often blurred especially today. Journalism has a certain responsibility to the truth and sources and multiple outlets. And you don't have to get permission and you're just giving the truth as you have sourced it entertainment. They don't have an obligation to tell horror story. It's not about this is about Michael I told you about. My wife freaked out with making a murder. She's this is outrageous. They're framing him. And I said you think these documentary people are journalists. They've got a story. The guy tortured animals and stocked women. He's a Wackadoo. There's a reason he's in prison. He's nuts. That's what bad people do. But those people wanted to be sympathetic making a murderer rural guy frame by the prosecutor. Now no no that guys behind the gray bar motel right now for okay. Document documentaries and documentarian are Dave storytellers. They're storytellers. That's what they are. Great Story I've been critical Jordan for years and love. Lebron come a sympathizer for MJ in rough on Lebron. Don't overanalyze it. Michael was great and competitive. Hurt some feelings. You break some eggs. That's the Life Daryl. Morey is around the corner. We've found him. He's around the corner. Be sure to catch live additions of the heard. Weekdays at noon eastern nine. The fight Dwayne Wade, Lebron, James get into a fight I take away. Dwayne Wade's one of the toughest players in league history. You know many footers in this league or soft, those European up biggs. Wade Chris Paul. You want no piece of those Russell Westbrook you what? No, Pizza Russell, Westbrook! Many centers in this league are tough, guys, anybody that's six nine to twenty in high school and Athletic Dominate. Lebron dominates, high school football of course he does. He's big and strong. Big Strong Kid, but college now guys hit-back now you line up as tight end over Nick Bosa. "You didn't fully take, and now you realize. Oh, he probably could have been Tony, Gonzalez. One of the three greatest. Tynan's ever so yeah. I think you're wrong. Well by the way Tony Gonzales to his credit. Loved blocking and I'm not joking. Despite that pretty face, Tony is he loved physical play love blocking and that's. That's my take on the Braun. He would just be like I. Doing the blocking thing, it hurts all right finally. You said I had some brilliant take. What can you talk about that for once? What was my brilliant take? I'd like to hear this, please the you are a thousand percent correct that Phil Jackson. Jackson did Michael Jordan and enormous favor by walking away after championship six. Not only because they would have I think they would have made the finals remember ninety nine. That's the year. The eight seed Knicks made the fine. Yup, the Bulls I think would have made the finals, and they would have lost to Duncan and Robinson because they never had to go up against a great center in the finals with Jordan and. And the next year shack started making the final, so they wouldn't won. Another title and everyone loves a for some reason. People think six six is better than if you were six for seven or six for eight, but the other reason it was great is because I believe, and this might be somewhat controversial opinion. I believe the single greatest game of Michael Jordan's career was game six nine thousand eight finals against Utah I. I understand the stat line while it was very impressive. What is great set line every? At forty five point one rebounds one assist on thirty five shots I think a lot of people say game four of the finals against Chuck and Phoenix when he had fifty five eight and four in the critical game of the series that was greatest game ever the sixty three points against Boston, but with Pippen's bat gone out. Really done at that point. You're an a game where no one scores ninety. It's a rock fight. You're facing the specter of a game seven on the road, and not only do you score over happier teams points, but the way the final minute goes is to Jordan. Free throws Jordan Layup Jordan Steel Jordan. Jordan career in Chicago over it was the greatest game ever played as a bull, the greatest finish to any athletes career ever if we're gonNA pretend the wizards, years didn't happen which I'm fine with by the way and the story, even if he would have accomplished more Colin the story wouldn't have been as good and what Michael has going for him in the Lebron. Jordan. Discussion is Michael. Story is better I. Don't believe he's a better player, but his story is more poetic if you will and that changes if they come back and they lose ninety nine, so I totally. Totally agree with you on that and I think that game six and ninety eight's the greatest game ever played by the way I agree. I just had this conversation. Either with Goulet or joy or somebody off the air the other day. That team was so challenged offensively in Chicago. They were ninth in scoring that year with Michael Jordan and then when pippen fell apart, it was basically Michael in the toughest NBA Arena against two hall of famers in a Hall of fame coach totally agree grief finally on a take, nick, right first things first. Good talking to you, Buddy. You guys as well. I love having nick on. Coming up next, Rob Parker make sense yesterday that in itself is newsworthy. You know many footers in this league or soft, those European up biggs. Those guys don't get invites. The toughest guys in NBA history have been small guys. There'd been a lot of Rod Strickland. You don't want to fight Alan Iverson you don't WanNA fight Dwayne. How you doing player, Knicks Nasty like the hit you right in the neck in the NFL's Khalil Mack every Sunday it's nothing against Lebron. James The story was going to play for the Dallas Cowboys. You have. People have no idea Tony Gonzales blocked. Coney is tough and physical Tony's away better football player than a basketball player. Basketball players are soft basketball player. It's a bunch of six seven and a half guys that have never been in a fight in their life Jalen rose used to joke he. Oh, he meant. We all protect the moneymaker. We don't get in fights. NBA Fights in the seventies and eighties when guys were fighting for a piece of the Pie. Do you know what this NBA wasn't? The seventies and eighties less skilled. NBA guys now are Kevin Durant and fights steph curry and fights. Guys aren't fighters. They're just great athletes. It that's why when you go watch the UFC. UFC is great. Will you go watch UFC fight. The big muscle bound. Guy Is never the tough guy. What's that guy? We watch two weeks ago. Goulet. The kid from Arizona just engaged. That guy's a bag of hammers just engage. You would walk into the studio. I'm six foot. Two two hundred pounds I'm bigger than him. I last a nickel with last five seconds. So if you want to play in the NFL, you gotta be tough. You gotta like fights. You got to be physical Jimmy Graham everybody goes. ooh Jimmy, Graham Jimmy Graham camp blocked the STARBUCKS Cup. That's why that's why Chicago overpaid for him. Why didn't work in Green Bay while the seahawks should never ever traded Max Unger Jimmy? Graham and Jimmy worked in New Orleans with a hall of. Of Fame quarterback and a brilliant head coach. He didn't work anywhere else because he can't block. By the way it's. White Gronk at the end was still valuable because GRONK. Who is tough by the way? GRONK grew up like delayed like Michael Jordan with brothers battling brothers at seven eight nine ten eleven wrestling with brothers in the backyard. You'RE GONNA find tough guys out sports. A lot of times grew up with tough brothers, and they were wrestling their whole life, and getting physical and getting in fights. Guys like me I didn't grow up with a brother I'm soft. I Talk I don't want to get in fights. Say Basketball players are soft. As remli physical, even today you're taking a lot of. May? Impact from soft guys. Soft is not a word I would use. There's a different skill set a different some seven foot, one hundred nine power European center body that. That's required to play football. That's why training campus. Oh, important because you. After we got horrible little, you get the calluses Carl Malone tough. That guy has tractor. I'm not gonNA argue that. MJ's era and before that wasn't tougher than today's era, but I. I still think it's very physical. It's just a different skill. SET NFL football football. Your brothers tough. Your brother played games. I talked about this year. Barter played games. They had to numb his foot. No, it was falling off. Football players are extremely tough. Hockey players are extremely tough. Arguing that it's more physical and obviously it is I'm just saying that don't underestimate. The physicality of Lebron Basketball Lebron is strong. He's not tough. He's strong, but in a fight. If I said MJ Lebron. Not. Yes. Lebron's thirty five pound Lebron strong. He's not a fighter fifteen years in the league. He's never even looked like he. He backs off from I. Do Think Lebron could play in today's NFL, where receivers more protected I like Lebron by the. Why am I always framed is Lebron I love Lebron. This deck I WANNA. "Joy with the news. Well that's the news and thanks for stopping by heard lie. Saw Dak Prescott used to be sympathetic. Now I'm over and let's bring in Nick Right. First things first brought to you by Mercedes Benz the best or nothing on our global satellite network. Okay so Dak wants to be paid according to a story this morning better than Russell Wilson. Russell Wilson has one hundred touchdown passes in three years. Nobody's close in the I am. I have come to the point now. I think I've come to your side. I'll just go then. He don't. I'm done with it. It's nonsense to me. Well I can imagine what you thought about the story. Well listen I think the key point here is Dak in addition to warning near if not above the top of the market spe. He wants a short contract so we can get another bite at the apple as quickly as possible and the latest report is that he didn't want the fifth year and if you wanted fifth year it's going to have to be something obscene. The Patrick mahomes territory of. We're talking. Forty five million dollars and at some point Colin. I've used this analogy before and I'll use it again. It's apropos with you. Because you own. So many properties around the world at some point the price of the house. No matter how much you love the House I gotta walk away like I thought I was GonNa live movie right. Thought I was GONNA live here. I loved him. My white loved it. Amazing Open floor plan but you gotta be kidding me. And if you're not going to negotiate in good faith then at some point you've got to walk away and so we have been dealing with these DAK Prescott negotiations column for Sixteen Months. I don't know why people think they're all of a sudden get resolved in the next fifty six days because that's how long until the deadline hits to where he just plays this year under the franchise tag and I think that's where this is headed Colin. I don't disagree with you so now we're getting to the point after the. Mj DOC is people are psychoanalyzing it. I just Some guy in the New Yorker said Michael's just empty and lonely and miserable and just a miserable human being. I don't see that I think is relationships with his. Parents are amazing. His agent his coaches Dean Smith Phil Jackson. And now it's horace grant calls him a snitch. Snitched Michael thinks he. I snitched on him for a book Blah Blah Blah. I think we're I think we're trying to psychoanalyze Michael. I think he's great and I think he's rude absurdly competitive and that takes off people. That's how I see your thoughts. Well I thought horrid has got a bad rap in this. Now it's been rumored for the better part of thirty years that Horace was one of Sam. Smith is Sam Smith's primary sources for that book me but he clearly wasn't the only one. There's three hundred page book. It didn't all come. From Horace and horace gets thrown under the bus there. I did think horse made a good point which is episode one of the dock. Michael gets asked about the Bulls alleged traveling cocaine circus and he says yeah. I walked into a Hotel Room. Every single one of my teammates is there with cocaine and women. I mean that there's a word for that. It is called snitching even thirty five years later so I do think horse made a fair point and I understand why a guy like oars. That helped Michael Win. Three titles or Scotty would've have liked their portrayal in this. The only person who I thought was more unfairly portrayed than Horace Scotty and Jerry. Krause was the poor guy who you had on yesterday because if anyone believes the story that when Michael Jordan ordered a pizza he used his real name and then otherwise otherwise normal guys said we're going to commit a felony and poisoning all show up in his hotel room to watch him take the first bite. It was implausible. Lie I've ever heard in my life. So that's my top four people who should be upset the pizza guy. Horace Grant Scottie. Pippen in the late afternoon by the way I'm recruiting door. I've been watching recruiting video for twenty five years. I love it. I've loved it for everybody's got something they love that they don't talk about on the air like I love recruiting and I go to websites all day. One of the things I've always seen is a lot of kids in high school. Our great high school players because they're simply bigger and stronger. Today Vian cloudy. He's just bigger and stronger and bulldozes people and then he can do a little bit of that in college but in the end by the time you get to the NFL. Do you like to hit the you like to get hit in the ribs. Because football practice is hard. Lebron James. Despite his physical stature has never been in an MBA. Fight doesn't appear to really like it. He doesn't like playing center now was he. Great High School player. Yeah could have been a really good college player. The idea because he would have been a tight end he would line up and have you know. Khalil. Mack over the top of him wanting to dislocate his head from his shoulders and he'd be like oh I just love. Physical play is silly. Lebron's a great basketball player. He would have never been a great. Nfl Player. And I know you're furious at this. Okay well listen your take on Jordan. Walking away at the right time. I hope we have time to get to it because it is one hundred percent. Correct your take on. This is a one hundred percent incorrect. The person who should be most relieved that the NBA came back in twenty eleven. Is Actually Jason Witten? Because Jason witten would have been out about six hundred catches six thousand yards and thirty six such down because Lebron would have gone to Dallas and taking his job column. You should know this as well as anybody on that wonderful Sunday. Nfl pre-game show. Who Do you sit across from? What great looking all time. Great Kansas City chief. Do you sit across from every Sunday morning during football season. Tony Gonzales. Tony Gonzales right. Yeah Tony gives us is the Guy. Listen you know better than me. He fight a lot. He a guy who has got the face of a guys leads win and a bunch of his money in the NFL out. Muscling Khalil Mack. Or was he super tall? Very fast. Soft-hand Great Athlete. And had one hundred twenty five touchdown catches. Because I think that's how he did it so the fact that you're like well Lebron once a time didn't post up. Jj Berea therefore. He couldn't follow the Tony Gonzales. Jimmy Graham Line Great. Nfl tied in it's just lunacy. I don't think he really believe it. And I'm GonNa do something I never do. I just don't think fully thought out the take. I think you heard of your like football stupid. I'll talk about my recruiting. Didn't fully take and now you realize oh he probably could have been Tony Gonzalez one of the three greatest. Tynan's ever so yeah. I think you're wrong well by the way Tony Gonzales to his credit loved blocking and I'm not joking. Despite that pretty face Tony Is. He loved physical play. Love blocking. And that's that's my take on the Braun. He would just be like I doing the blocking thing. It hurts all right. Finally you said I had some brilliant take. What can you talk about that for once? What was my brilliant take? I'd like to hear this please. The you are a thousand percent. Correct that Phil. Jackson did Michael Jordan an enormous favor by walking away after championship six. Not only because they would have. I think they would have made the finals member ninety nine. That's the year the eight seed. Knicks made the fine yup the Bulls. I think would have made the finals and they would have lost to Duncan and Robinson because they never had to go up against a great center in the finals with Jordan and the next year shack started making the final so they wouldn't won another title and everyone loves a for some reason. People think six six is better than if you were six for seven or six for eight but the other reason it was great is because I believe and this might be somewhat controversial opinion. I believe the single greatest game of Michael Jordan's career was game. Six Nine Thousand Eight finals. Against Utah. I understand the stat line while it was very impressive. What is great? Set Line every at forty five point one rebounds. One assist on thirty five shots. I think a lot of people say game four of the finals against Chuck and Phoenix when he had fifty five eight and four in the critical game of the series. That was greatest game ever the sixty three points against Boston but with Pippen's bat gone out. Rodman really done at that point. You're an a game where no one scores. Ninety. It's a rock fight. You're facing the specter of a game seven on the road and not only do you score over happier teams points but the way the final minute goes is to Jordan free throws Jordan Layup Jordan Steel Jordan shot Jordan career in Chicago over. It was the greatest game ever played as a bull the greatest finish to any athletes career. Ever if we're GONNA pretend the wizards years didn't happen which I'm fine with by the way and the story even if he would have accomplished more Colin the story wouldn't have been as good and what Michael has going for him in the Lebron Jordan discussion. Is Michael Story is better? I don't believe he's a better player but his story is more poetic if you will and that changes if they come back and they lose ninety nine so I totally agree with you on that and I think that game. Six and ninety eight's the greatest game ever played by the way I agree. I just had this conversation either with Goulet or joy or somebody off the air the other day that team was so challenged offensively in Chicago. They were ninth in scoring that year with Michael Jordan and then when pippen fell apart it was basically Michael in the toughest. Nba Arena against two hall of famers in a Hall of fame. Coach totally agree grief. Finally on a take. Nick right first things first. Good talking to you buddy you guys as well all right. I love having nick on coming up next. How tough is you? Walk by Lebron. You have no idea. Doesn't like the fight. Dwayne Wade. Lebron James. Get into a fight. I take away Dwayne. Wade's one of the toughest players in league history. Westbrook many centers in this league are tough guys anybody. That's six nine to twenty in high school and Athletic Dominate. Lebron dominates high school football. Of course he does. He's big and strong big strong kid but college. Now Guys hit-back. Now you line up as tight end over Nick. Bosa how you doing player Knicks Nasty. Like the hit you right in the neck in the NFL's Khalil Mack every Sunday. It's nothing against Lebron James. The story was going to play for the Dallas Cowboys. You have people have no idea. Tony.

"NFL hasn't allowed anyone except. No coaches just some personnel and players who are getting Rehab are allowed to go into facility, so they're having to find somewhere else to do. It's the I guess they're at a prep school, but it's not like you really need. Your coach is there to start doing row drills I'm pretty sure. Tom Brady can can organize those pretty easily, so there was a a handful of players out there Mike Gavin Scotty. Miller came Bray OJ Howard. Blaine Gabbert and Ryan. Griffin were there too so. Taken advantage of the little lightening of the rules for social gathering and getting some workouts in up. You're going to start seeing more and more of this as as things starting to loosen up and I'm sure Tom has been. Itching to get out there and it gets them working so finally. Cam Newton is on the market, waiting for his next NFL opportunity, and according to Fox abets. The Patriots are still the favorites to lands, the former MVP at plus two seventy. The steelers are second plus four hundred then Washington, Denver, and Seattle so odds it plus thousand, generally when you see these odds, somebody knows something I don't think it. I don't think he fits New England at all, but I just don't think it works at all I I would be shocked. I think I would be more shocks at the Patriots bringing in Cam Newton. I would be about Tom Brady going to the box. Yes owed I. It's more dramatic. Yeah, when I, when I I was surprised, he went to the box, but you could rationalize the bucks very quickly. Bruce Arians is loose. It's warm weather. His wife, I'm told one or to go to Miami. They got a bunch of new weapons. You still out of all the places that we were discussing I thought that the the box was the last on the list. So it was still very surprising to me, and we knew the Tom Brady was was pretty much leaving like we know. Camden is going to end up somewhere. I don't know I. Just don't I. Don't see the Patriots, and again I I hope that he does an opportunity to be starter again. The League and I think he will be I think the steelers is the best place for him, but. I mean. Wouldn't you like I think my jaw will drop if the page. It's just not stylistically fit. It's just not at all, Pittsburgh. In any way linked personality. None of it fits I, don't I. Don't go well.

"Daryl Morey rockets general manager joins US top next hour. Nick right this hour. We're GONNA play a game called this and Dak. I've gone from being sympathetic to Dak Prescott. Just let just bail on on the cowboys and play. Andy Dalton I've done it in one day based on a story enjoy our you sense. He would eventually read reach a point of exhaustion with tax contracts. So here's the latest Dak Prescott. Chris Simms is reporting Dak. Prescott cowboys have offered. He wants four years. One hundred and seventy five million. That's thirty five million a year. That's Russell Wilson's contract and Russell Wilson contracts not only signed it. So he thinks he's Russell Wilson and then in the last year. Dak wants forty five million dollars context in the last three years in the NFL. Russell Wilson has thrown for a hundred touchdown passes that is fifteen more than number two in the league. Look it up. It's Tom Brady. Blows away everybody in the League including Tom Brady. Dak has thrown for seventy four with a significantly better offensive line. Would they superstar running back and better wide receivers and had an offensive coach? And you may not like Jason Garrett. But he's an offensive coach. He knows offensive personnel since he's been the cowboy coach look at their offensive draft picks. Jason Garrett has a say they've been exceptional they draft offense. Great Defense some questions. Deck wants to Russell Wilson contract or more if Dak was on the market today who bid for him if Russell Wilson's on the market outside of Kansas City in Baltimore by twenty seven teams that would bid for Russell Wilson. I mean if you hate the cowboys you should pray. They signed to this contract. Because it's over they'll never get better defensively. I mean I'm to the point. Now where I'm from sympathetic. To let the market let him at the market if he's this delusional let him hit the market. Here's the other thing that people make a big mistake on this. Just because you're wildly underpaid in life does not mean you have the right to a powerball ticket later. Everybody's underpaid in this league with their first contract Lamar Jackson Right now. Making nothing in make nothing. He's making significantly less than quarterbacks in his own division name Baker Mayfield. Mahomes is wildly underpaid. If you're good if you are a really good young quarterback you're going to be under Russell. Wilson made another four years made less than a Seattle DJ and he was winning Super Bowls decks trying to win a playoff game so this idea. I was underpaid in my twenties. I was underpaid. My twenties joy underpaid contracts for about two things leverage and scarcity once they brought Andy Dalton. Where's your leverage? Andy's a reasonable facsimile. The DOC where's your leverage number. Two is there's no scarcity five years ago there were scarcity now. Good God folks. There's four new quarterbacks in the NFL every year from college. They're all working first round. Quarterbacks used to be a I quarterbacks used to be a fifty fifty bust half just couldn't play now five guys drafted in the first round four. Very Good Josh Allen Josh Allen quarterback and it was a college quarterback I mean Jalen hurts two years ago. He got cut from Alabama Alabama. Didn't want him. He got drafted in the second round. I mean you've gotta be kidding me on this thing it is. I don't see a salary cap world. Everybody's underpaid in their twenties. It doesn't mean powerball ticket at the end. The last year was not good with a great online with great receivers with unbelievable running back with an offensive coach. He was bad. He couldn't score a touchdown against the Patriots or the Eagles. Well Jason Garrett stinks will tell you what the new coach Mike. Mccarthy can't think too much of him because he's yet to complement him and he brought in Andy Dalton for the record. Tom Brady and Michael. Jordan were underpaid their entire career if you look at what? Brady's made and what Michael made for their talent wildly underpaid almost everybody unless they own their own business is underpaid when I worked at my last company the CEO primate eight million a year the CEO of Gopro made four hundred million a year because he owned his own company. Unless you own your own company you're going to be underpaid. The company's GonNa take eighty percent of the prophets. That's the way the game works and we got a salary cap league but the idea that Dak wants Russell Wilson's contract. I talked to somebody yesterday and Russell. Wilson's Camp Russell. Wilson has changed his workout regimen. This off season why to get thinner. Why because the offensive line in Seattle is so patchwork that they're going to finally allow Russell Wilson more say in the offense so we can move more and roll out more and do more what he wants because he's running for his life. He's losing both to get thinner because he knows he's going to be running around. More Dak never has that problem. Wow for a long time. I was like yeah. Debt Kinda underpaid here. Let's let's let's pay the young man. I'm like let him at the market. Andy Dalton's eighty five percent. Let him at the market. I can save thirty three million dollars a year insane. All right so the Michael Jordan documentaries over right we've moved on but now now what is happening to the Michael. Jordan documentary is people wanting to discredit it. Now all the gripers in the whiners. Mica was me. The second tier players the second tier teammates. The newspaper Columnists joyless life. They're all coming out of the woodwork. Yesterday Horace Grant Grumble Grumble. Grumble grumble went on a radio station just kind of rambled forever and talked about Michael Jordan has a grudge against him. Because Michael Jordan thinks horace. Grant is the person that Fed Sam Smith all the inside dirt information. Many people think that Sam Denies It. Horace DENIES IT. Horace grumbled about MJ yesterday if MJ had a grudge with make necessarily like man. Let's talk about it or we consider. Here's another way your instill. He goes out and put this lie out that I wasn't source behind the fact that Sam Smith was a investigator reporter that he had to have two sources to to write a book. I guess why would MJ? This point me out. It's only a breads man. I'm telling you it was the only the growth and I think he proved that during this so-called documentary when you can say something about him he's GonNa cut you off he's he's GonNa try to restore your character. Listen Horace Grant was a good player. Not Special he made one all star team. That's when Michael Retired is horace bidder. Because he never got the respect. That's a big deal for guys. He never got the respect. He felt he deserved. Let's be honest. If you think bulls you think Michael you think Scottie. If you think Phil you think a shots by Paxton incur you. Don't think about Horace Grant when you think about the Lakers teams. He was on you. Think Shack and you think Kobe anything shed Kobe's best friend Derek Fisher and you think Robert Orien- you don't think Horace Grant and when you think about the Orlando teams you think about shack. And you think about penny in those miss free throws by Nick Anderson. And you don't think a lot about horace grant. Is He bitter? Potentially he felt like he was rambling. Yesterday you're getting this. Now we're trying to psycho analyze. Michael Stop I read an article yesterday by David Roth New York magazine a very sophisticated magazine. Nobody loves writers more than writers and so all the writers yesterday. What's beautiful prose? It was just nonsense. Here's one of the paragraphs Jordan gave himself entirely to his pursuit and everything he had went into the furnace to fuel it. That's the story of his life. And while there are many moments in the last dance when this seems plainly tragic moment in which. Jordan's life seems empty and code and joyless never not once joyless is being a writer living in twelve hundred square foot condo in the East village joyless. Michael had unbelievable relationships with his parents. I've never met in my life at fifty five years old. Somebody who had great relationships with their parents who had an empty life Michael had an unbelievable reloading loving relationship with his college coach Dean Smith with NBA coach Phil Jackson. Michael Jordan in the greatest basketball player in the world said he would retire. If Phil Jackson couldn't get a job. I Love Lebron. Has Lebron ever stood up for a coach? That Michael Jordan has a daughter who was quoted this week saying he baby's me calls me every day. A son He's close to. He's got the strongest relationship with an agent. David Falk twenty years later. I've ever seen the writer. David Roth a brilliant writer. Writers Love Writers. They re tweet them all day. Says this is the deal? That Jordan made knowingly or unknowingly that he wanted to he would trade everything he had for everything he wanted and then when he won all those things he found that he had nothing but that he doesn't exactly seem happy or even really satisfied. The hell you talking about. Every woman was throwing themselves Adam as a twenty eight year old male. He was the best in the world. That's something he's got the biggest brand in the history of the world. His relationships with his parents were unbelievable looking at him. Hug Phil Jackson on the video players. Don't hug their coaches like that. He hugged him like his dad. His life is full of incredible passions. He lives for his brandy. Lived for his parents. He's got a beautiful wife. He lives for his kids. Stop psychoanalyzing him. Michael Jordan's the greatest basketball talent ever. A and B. He was as competitive as hell. And you know what success is hard and he trampled some people so did mark Zuckerberg facebook. He probably rolled over a few guys. That's live sorted. Steve Jobs you think his life is joyless. What I never once watched that episode the ten episodes and thought his life was empty. I thought it was at times. Combative Michael's not passive aggressive. Michael likes conflict. He gets right in your kitchen. He gets ill fight you any day of the week. That's not joyless. That's passion Michael's not one of these fakes. That's nice to your face and bet if Michael doesn't like he'll just you just won't talk to you he'll just cut you off that's not emptier joyless. Michael Jordan is great and Michael. Jordan was competitive. Like nobody I've ever seen that's it and there's no reason to pretend anything else. I mean horace grant was always kind of the forgettable guy on all of teams if I say to you whereas Horace Grant come in seriously. I know the general manager more than Horace Grant. I know the owner story and its tourist. Granny was a nice player. He did a lot of good things especially in Orlando. I like him but you know. What a Shock Isaiah. Thomas doesn't like this Scottie. Pippen Relatives Jerry. Krause like this and and Horace Grant doesn't like it well Isaiah. Thomas wasn't liked by a lot. Of People Scottie. Pippen could be a mature Jerry. Krause was antagonizing in. Frankly Horace Grant..

"Rockets, general manager joins US top next hour. Nick right this hour. We're GONNA. Play a game called this and Dak.. I've gone from being sympathetic to Dak Prescott to just let just bail on on the cowboys and play Andy Dalton I've done it in one day based on a story. Enjoy our you. Sense he would eventually read reach a point of exhaustion with tax contracts. So. Here's the latest. Dak. Prescott Chris Simms is reporting. Dak Prescott cowboys have offered. He wants four years one hundred and seventy, five million. That's thirty five million a year. That's Russell, Wilson's contract and Russell. Wilson contracts not only just signed it, so he thinks he's Russell Wilson and then in the last year Dak wants forty five million dollars. Context. In the last three years in the NFL Russell Wilson. Has Thrown for one hundred touchdown passes. That is fifteen more. Than number two in the league. Look it up. It's Tom Brady. Blows away everybody in the League including Tom Brady. Dak.. Has Thrown for seventy four with a significantly better offensive line. Would they superstar running back and better wide receivers? And had an offensive coach, and you may not like Jason Garrett, but he's an offensive coach. He knows offensive personnel since he's been the cowboy coach. Look at their offensive draft picks Jason Garrett has a say. They've been exceptional. They draft offense. Great Defense some questions. Dak wants to Russell Wilson contract or more. If DAK was on the market today. who bid for him, if Russell Wilson's on the market outside of Kansas City in Baltimore. By, twenty seven teams that would bid for Russell Wilson. I mean. If you hate the cowboys, you should pray. They signed to this contract. Because it's over, they'll never get better defensively. I mean I'm to the point now where I'm from sympathetic to let the market. Let him at the market if he's this delusional. Let him hit the market. Here's the other thing that people make a big mistake on this. Just because you're wildly underpaid in life does not mean you have the right to a powerball ticket later. Everybody's underpaid in this league with their first contract. Lamar Jackson, right, now making nothing. In make nothing. You significantly less than quarterbacks in his own division name Baker Mayfield. Mahomes is wildly underpaid. If you are good, a really good young quarterback. You're going to be under Russell. Wilson made another four years made less than a Seattle DJ and he was winning super bowls. Decks trying to win a playoff game. So this idea I was underpaid in my twenties. I was underpaid. My twenties joy underpaid. Contracts for about two things, leverage and scarcity. Once they brought Andy Dalton. Where's your leverage? Andy's a reasonable facsimile, the DOC. Where's your leverage? Number two is there's no scarcity. Five years ago, there were scarcity now good God folks. There's four new quarterbacks in the NFL every year from college. They're all working. First Round quarterbacks used to be a first quarterbacks used to be a fifty fifty bust. Half just couldn't play now. Five guys drafted in the first round four very good Josh Allen Josh Allen better pro quarterback that it was a college quarterback. I mean jalen hurts. Two years ago, he got cut from Alabama. Alabama didn't want him. He got drafted in the second round. I mean you've gotta be kidding me on this thing. It is I. don't see a salary cap world. Everybody's underpaid in their twenties. It doesn't mean powerball ticket. At the end. The last year was not good with a great online with great receivers. With unbelievable, running back with an offensive coach, he was bad. He couldn't score a touchdown against the Patriots or the Eagles. Well Jason Garrett stinks will tell you what the new coach Mike McCarthy. Can't think too much of him because he's yet to complement him and he brought in Andy Dalton. For the record. Tom, Brady and Michael Jordan were underpaid their entire career. If you look at what Brady's made, and what Michael made for their talent wildly underpaid. Almost, everybody. Unless they own their own business is underpaid when I worked at my last company. The CEO primate eight million a year. The CEO of Gopro made four hundred million a year because he owned his own company. Unless. You own your own company. You're going to be underpaid. The company's GonNa take eighty percent of the prophets. That's the way the game works. And we got a salary cap league. But the idea that Dak wants Russell Wilson's contract. I talked to somebody yesterday and Russell, Wilson's camp. Russell Wilson has changed his workout regimen this off season. Why to get thinner. Why because the offensive line in Seattle is so patchwork that they're going to finally? Allow Russell Wilson more say in the offense, so we can move more and roll out more and do more what he wants because he's running for his life. He's losing both to get thinner because he knows he's going to be running around more. Dak never has that problem. Wow for a long time I was like yeah debt underpaid here. Let's let's let's pay the young man I'm like. Let him at the market. Andy Dalton's eighty five percent. Let him at the market. I can save thirty three million dollars a year. Insane. All right, so the Michael Jordan documentaries over right we've moved on. But now Now what is happening to the Michael Jordan documentary? Is People wanting to discredit it. Now all the gripers in the whiners Mica was me. The second tier players the second tier teammates. The newspaper columnists. joyless life. They're all coming out of the woodwork. Yesterday Horace Grant, grumble, grumble, grumble, grumble went on a radio station, just kind of rambled forever and talked about Michael. Jordan has a grudge against him because Michael. Jordan thinks horace grant is the person that Fed Sam Smith all the inside dirt information. Many people think that Sam denies it. Horace denies it Horace grumbled about MJ yesterday. If MJ had a grudge with make necessarily like man. Let's talk about it or we consider. Here's another way your instill. He goes out and put this lie out that. I wasn't source behind the mere fact, that Sam Smith was a investigator reporter that he had to have two sources to to write a book I guess why would MJ this? Point me out? It's only a breads man. I'm telling you. It was the only the growth and I think he proved that during this so-called documentary when you can say something about him, he's GonNa. Cut You off. He's he's GonNa. Try to restore your character. Listen Horace Grant was a good player, not special. He made one all star team. That's when Michael retired. Is Horace Bidder because he never got the respect. That's a big deal for guys. He never got the respect. He felt he deserved. Let's be honest. If you think bulls, you think Michael you think Scottie Rodman you think Phil you think a shots by Paxton incur. You don't think about Horace Grant when you think about the Lakers teams he was on. You don't think Horace Grant and when you think about the Orlando teams, you think about Shaq, and you think about penny in those miss free throws by Nick. Anderson and you don't think a lot about horace grant. Is He bitter potentially? He felt like he was rambling yesterday. You're getting this now. We're trying to psycho analyze. Michael Stop. LeBron James and the Winning Basketball Play

"Let me defend Kevin. So Steve Kerr came out and said I want him shooting thirty times a game. And I think Steve Kerr smart, but I think Steve Kerr's wrong here. Here's why I always defended LeBron James on this. Lebron always made the winning basketball play LeBron's not Michael Jordan, LeBron's not Koby. He's not he's more. Magic johnson. The Bronco criticized. Michael you almost always took the final shot first of all he didn't he let coach Steve Kerr impacts and take a lot of shots. Michael Jordan, did don't tell me Michael took the right shot, but LeBron came into the world post MJ in the middle of Kobe's career in the bronze like guy wide open on double team at night. And I always supported the let me support. Kevin Durant here. They were up by thirty doing it Kevin's way don't blame Kevin for the loss. No team in the history of the NBA is had what Kevin has Kevin Thomson Steph curry the three shooters on the planet are arguably Steph curry Klay Thompson, Kevin James harden and Tokai Reardon in there. So I disagree with this idea that you have to just generalize. Hey, my star player shooting thirty the warriors are different. They have arguably the two best shooting guard. It's the best back and history curry Klay Thompson is better than. Jerry West Gail Goodrich, which I grew up with is the best backcourt shooting in the history of the NBA. So it's a completely different paradigms and Kevin Durant. Saint Louis I can shoot you forty three percent over Patrick Beverley and get the hard to. But isn't this sport? Now about the easy three not the hard to and Durant's the best hard to shooter in the world. But Kevin's got it, right? Is I can do that. And I can hit that. But I got I got wide open world class shooters. I think there's been a way to play basketball and everybody knows now the worst shot in the league. Now, even though Durant best at it is a hard to and Durant. The best hard to shooter in the world. But the better shots, the easy three in Durant. San. I'm going to distribute to these world class shooters. If clay was on this team or Steph wasn't I would say shoop thirty. But I always defended LeBron this I'm gonna I'm gonna defend Durant on this. They're both the same guy. They're saying I'm going to make the right basketball play. And I will always we got too many guys mislead that don't do the right basketball play. They take bad shots when you can get a starlike. Lebron Durant goat. Now. I'm gonna do the right basketball. I love that. I'll defend that for the rest of my life. That's the way. I love the
