"Accessible. So like, you know us, if we need a story, we're going to go where by and large where people are going to help us the most and the warriors are so accommodating. So I think they are accommodating their product is just caught up with how great they have been accommodating and actually want to be want to sell themselves in a way that I don't think the league as a whole wants to sell itself. Yeah, I completely agree. I mean, just the fact that we're able to have these in depth conversations about draymond's attitude and how it coalesces with a team. How Steph Curry helps balance them out. How a guy like Andre Iguodala Iguodala is such a good example to me of the type of leader that I think if he played for a different franchise that wasn't as open with media and was maybe like a person that was a little bit more quiet. We would have no idea just how much value he has brought to the team. And he's one guy where I feel like it's it's kind of big that they brought him back before. It's huge. It's yeah. Tim Cabo comedy at the athletic he interviewed career after they won the gold medal. And he set and crew on Iguodala said, I think when we lost him, we lost a piece of our soul. And we knew that when we lost him. And then he talks about he talks about how trading Iguodala ended up being the right move because it brought back to mingo and Wiggins, which man retire that man's Jersey. The non box score value. It got him hey. I think everyone's just everyone in that situation is like, you know what? It sucks that we had to break up for a little while, but you know, we're coming back better than ever. Straight up. Anyways, so he talks about how he thinks it was a good trade. And then he's like, but there's no way of getting around the fact that for the last two years, we've been wayward in many ways. Do you feel like you saw that yeah, being around them? Because I just want to know from somebody who was there because I feel like the things that a guy like Iguodala brings to a team are just so specific. I mean, Andre is one of the most fascinating players I've ever covered ever in life. And so it's weird to say, while Audrey Iguodala was not in the building, his influence loomed large over the warriors during the 2019 20 season and beyond, honestly, ever since he left, he never really left the bay. His folks were his wife and his kid, both wanted school and lived in the Bay Area when he was getting money from Memphis. He never reported. He was in the east bay chillin, even spotted out all the time. He was working. And so he was still in the fabric of the warriors, but him not being in the locker room really hurt and that goes back to draymond where there's no buffer, right? Draymond is the leader. Draymond is the only one there, and he can't really relate to being a leader. And so there's no buffer. And so when Andre was there, you know, he's one of the guys that is superstar. No, but he has Steve Kerr's ear, but he also has the ear of the young guys. He also has a respect of the young guys. I remember when I remember when Jordan bell had a I did the famous Mike Brown incident where the famous hotel incident in Memphis. And I remember talking to, you know, just trying to get a reactionary piece. It was just trying to see what the OG thought about Jordan and because usually you can get the barometer of the tell the team is going by the OGs. And you know, Andre was one of the first people to defend Jordan bell. Just blindly defend him. And he was he defending him. I don't know the reason I don't know the reason why I can do this. It was kind of like kind of an innocuous, I can't remember what it was. He bought something on Mike Brown's tab. I don't know what it was. I forget, I didn't get reported and no enough doing it was. We bought something on Mike Brown's tab at the hotel. And honestly, it was not just that just for more context on that Jordan belting. It was not. It was more context to that. They had had trouble with Jordan throughout the season and that was a game that a lot of the players played. It was just one of the first times they did it on a coach, so it got bad, but it was just one of those things where it was like the straw that broke the camel's back with Jordan, right? So one of the OGs could have just thrown Jordan of the bus. Now he's a kid that's been fucking up. This season, and we would have to call, but Andre was like, no, and the reason why is because he didn't want and how shit to get out for one and two, he wanted to show that he had the young guys back, and that's something that's always been something in his fabric and he can also talk to, you know, relate to Steve Kerr because he was a bulls fan and he and Steve Kerr and Andre loved billions of Succession. That's something that they watched together. So they can bond on both sides. And that's why he was so important because he can speak, but he can speak both languages. And so he's the great unifier on that team and he wasn't there. Andre is also like, it's interesting that he's like that, too, because he's also very realistic about what the NBA is. And, you know, just like, I remember reading his book, and I can't remember if this was in his book or somewhere else. But, you know, he talks about just the idea of like, you know, every rookie is like essentially somebody who could replace you. And that's an attitude that's like, you know, always been fairly prevalent with an NBA locker rooms like the notion of mentorship is actually rarer than I think people realize it is because if you're a rotation piece on a team, why are you going to help the guy that they're grooming to replace you so that they don't have to pay you, right? That the teams try to replenish their own talent with first round picks all the time. You know, the thing that's interesting to me about the warriors is a they have Andre, who was like that. But even draymond has kind of never really wild like being, you know, always like advocating for himself and clearly having this feeling that he is not being valued appropriately. He is also never really been that worried about being replaced. The biggest thing is he recruited Kevin Durant, but he's also not in not with the maybe I don't know what I want to call it like the tact or the EQ that Iguodala would use. But he has been a mentor to a lot of young players on the team as well. So, I don't know, it's just always been really interesting to me that he hasn't necessarily worried about that. I think that's some more of an organizational thing because I always think of like if draymond was on another team that was a lot more dysfunctional would he just try to go get his because that's what the environment suggested that he do to be successful because here's the thing man, Jeremiah's a survivor, no matter where he's gone through, he's just survived and just flourished in that in a way where we didn't think he would. But he's also been in great situations. You know, especially he's been coached by Tom has always been coached by Steve Kerr has been in a good organization. So the organization at least outwardly has made these players secure enough to the point in their roles to where they can be, where they can be secure enough to help other guys out. And also has helped that no one has been able to replace draymond, right? There was always there was always a thing in the Bay Area about the next draymond, right? Where the first it was Jordan bell, and I think past school got that mantle. It's basically anybody that draymond is in orbit with or takes under his wing that's a three and three or four is the next draymond. He's grooming the next one. But there was something interesting that between draymond and I think that Andre says the same philosophy, it's that something that Pete Myers told draymond. That's in the story when he was a rookie. He says you get paid to get the next guy paid. You're gonna get your bread and as long as you do the right things you're gonna get your bread and one of those right things is mentoring young guys so that they can get paid. And you will always be around. And that philosophy is been there for the warriors. They have taken care of draymond financially. Let's just point blank. And maybe when his stats haven't suggested, so they have paid him. And so he is secure enough to where he can do that. That's why when you take care of everybody and everybody eats and put them in a healthy environment, they will more than happy more than happily pick up the next man..

"Also, and dream on dish Totally That used to be a phrase, um, embraces bug, right, some righteous, but we got going on there, right? Just delish. It's wants his condo. Anderson is just turning into the guy the sort of the poster boy of this team you know, just this lovable guy came out of Oakland and Surprising the odds, etcetera, and he stopped by with Fitz and Kalinda, and he just can't believe how good dream on and Steph are playing right now. I'm a beneficiary of you know these guys their Hall of Fame. My cute, You know, Dre. Mina's has 16 assist today. That's amazing. You know, from our starting center last five games, he's in double digit assists, so I know man. Just get Steph Open. Either step is open arm of the opening, so I'm aware of that. The defense thing on leave him, So I just find those gaps and get those easy buckets. Not no jury. Monty's everything. Sometimes he sees a little toothpick before any of us here, but I mean, it is great to play with a guy like that. Yeah, it is. It's funny. I was reading the dream. I was yelling at the team and garbage time last night, when my last images for I went to bed and I was thinking about that. Did you read that thing about on who was it was a bogus who did the thing on Andre Iguodala and how he Had no tolerance for low I Q players. You guys read that? Yeah, that was, I think was on bogus Podcast. Yeah, he went on, he said Andrea and he said it would be a meaningless game. They would be blowing somebody out and some 11th and 12th guy would be playing. And Andre was laser focused on everything they did, and if they made stupid plays Andre wanted about. Yeah, can't have dumb players on this team probably put the players will probably figure out who it was. Yeah, I figure it out on the team, hypothetically, Berry and guys here, McCall says he's asking what we call Jordan Bell, too. All right. Well, what do I need to say? What needs to be said here? I mean, with the exception of those minutes in Game seven against O K C might have been fair job very shy, was out there looking off jumping Just goes to show you. Hey, beast. I'll tell you what Very y'all took that charging that. Okay. See gamer. If you and I both on our feet that play, he lit that place up there for two minutes. Maybe the whole season worthwhile. And now my heart is heavy because I was actually thinking about him this weekend, Bobby Bobby Carter. You know he was with for life, man, Bobby. See, bro. I don't ever forget. Hated hate that. No. Just inexplicable stuff is happening between Pedro Gomez and Bobby Carter. This That's another reason 2020 Bobby's case. I mean, just he was with any sense. He was with us that night, you know, so I have. So I still have a lot of picked by the way if you need any. I'm not kidding. I still have pictures from that night of all of us. The kids, Bobby Air, everybody It's certainly at some point, he carved out some time in the back of the sweets and tell me about his latest youth sports exploit where he always goes. A lot of he pushed a lot of winning squads, man. Bobby had two things on his mind raising his family being a great husband and then just going out in annihilating you on the youth Athletic field. Whatever the sport basketball didn't matter. Baseball tub use support to the throat when Bobby sees around. Yes story. Yeah. Ah, that Hey, Kir, Andre Mon, If you guys want to get a little coach analysis of what Roman's doing Well, I think this team is is built for him to handle the ball for one thing, And then I think he's gotten in much better shape and into a better rhythm over the last couple of weeks. I think he really turned a corner about two weeks ago, physically mentally. And then you know, playing center opens up the floor for him, too. So you know when he's the center, and he's handling the ball, it completely changes the chessboard. And with Steph playing so well, there's just unauthorized of space and a lot of slips. You know your sayings from plays where guys air comically open at the rim because of steps, gravity and the attention to him and dream on, sees all that stuff beautifully. So he's just in a room. Good groove and playing playing with great energy. And I think Raymond has been there is just brilliant. Great stuff, man. Good stuff. Start occurred. Just get Kurt gives us on these interviews, man. He tried. He gives the media what they want. God bless, right. He's great on everybody should appreciate what's going on now. Draymond sat down after the game, and he wasn't looking tol talk about his assists or seeing the floor or his I Q or Steph pulling defenders away. So guys Air open. He didn't wanna talk about that. You wanna talk about something totally different. So this is story I confess escaped my notice that the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to trade Andre Drummond. You know, I got a lot going on in my life, Paulie. And that's the kind of thing that I just can't really burn too much energy on. You know, Andre Drummond status I got you. I mean, give the calves, you know. I mean, the cab's right now back. I mean, Yeah, I know they had LeBron from 07. Whatever it to the finals. All those years. Your Shumpert's You know you J r. Smith's all those guys. Yeah. Yeah. What do you give me for beating the Cavs in in toil? No. Ever. I know where you're going in the in the Giants having to beat the Texas Rangers in the World Series. I thought you were gonna drop a Bangles on me right there. I think for that, Yeah. Championships Come against so, so franchises you gotta take whoever's you know what I mean. They line up their best. It's not our fault, You know, I mean, very good, very high attitude put anyway. So Andre Drummond is looking to get moved by the CAF. So they sat him last night and they said they were not playing because we're gonna trade you. Yeah, Dream on, looked across the court and saw that and he got irate because he said, Wait a minute. So if a player asked to be traded Everybody in the media's all this guy's a cry, baby. He's a better problem. Yes, villain. But if the team wants to trade you, they're like, Hey, sit down and shut up. It's a dream on ever looking out for always looking for a fight. Always looking for a dust up. And not afraid to take on the powers that be. He's not green. Oh, he's really not. Here is his rant. I would like to talk about something that's really bothering me. It's the treatment of players in this league tow watch Andre Drummond before the game, sit on the sideline, then go to the back and then come out in street clothes because the team is going to trade him. Yeah, because when James Harden export trade and essentially dog did, I don't think there was no surprise or no, you know, there's no one's going to fight back there. James was dog in his last days in Houston, but he was cast rated For one to go to a different team, and everybody destroyed.

When I saw Steve Warner roll through reeling and he was a friend of my road manager that is now my romantic the time I didn't have romance her when I was 10, but He was friends with Steve and introduced me and I got to go see him play and I saw this guy get up who sang and played and goofed around on the stage. He was playing all the leads. He's an incredible guitar player. I thought all you can sing and do the solo. You know, because there weren't a lot of that going around in any kind of music at that point, Clapton and and and a few others, but that's what I said. That's what I wanna be. NBA trade deadline 2020 surprises
"Other very minor trade deadline day deals from today. You guys all run through. Stop me if you've You've got something to say about them. The magic acquired James Ennis from the sixers for a second round. Pick the nuggets acquired choir Jordan mccray from the Grizzlies for Shabazz Napier. The rockets acquired Bruno Komo glow from the Grizzlies Jordan Bell. The hawks acquired Derek Wilton junior from the clippers for cash. Does he already waived. Oh they got their initial report. was that the hawks. Were sending back cash to the clippers clippers but then it was corrected cash was come in with Derrick Walton Junior. They not only do the hawks get a player who I believe. They're waving but they got some. Okay how's it was just a cash trade exchanging exchanging dollars and then the hawks also acquired scalp and two million dollars cash. I think from the Blazers for a future heavily protected second round pick I think its top fifty five protected. We descended a few times so we say one thing on scowl shirt in some limited portland. I thought he was actually decent. I thought he's athletic. He's good at both ends ends of the floor. It means he's not going to change a franchise around but I think he's he's a play. It was still some potential there. How many centers the Hawks and they've got dwayne deadman Now and obviously starting five of senators right now cadman Bruno Fernando scale and Damian Jones. I can't wait for the rockets and the Hawks looks to match up against the Senate's it's the skills challenge versus

Green, Warriors beat Blazers for 3-0 lead in West finals
"Curry. Pulls up three. Their largest lead of the series, trailblazers would lead by thirteen at half, but a huge third-quarter for Golden State. They kept poor get onto the fourth quarter lead by sets older brother. Hurry weaves into the front court circles back to the right wing against his brother clear. It out looney comes out high to set the screen goes the other way in for the tunnel ram lay today Steph Tori with thirty four three Golden State up a dozen their largest lead of the game. Steph curry would finish with the game. I thirty six the warriors rally again to beat the blazers this time a one ten ninety nine final. Golden State of three nothing series lead now for a post game extra and Amine, PJ Carlesimo called the game on ESPN radio one to ninety nine Golden State over Portland in comeback fashion once again in game three they come back from eighteen down in the second quarter. They were down thirteen at half time. And just like in game two they come all the way back in other warriors have a commanding three OSA. His lead in the conference final. I mean, there's so many players playing well for this team. I really believe at Golden State doesn't get credit for how good a defensive team. They are what they didn't third quarter. They just refused to let Damian Lillard C, J McCollum get a good look at the basket. They double team. They trapped him. They harassed him. And then when they turn them over came up with the defensive rebound, Draymond green was leading the fast break as he did all night and just ran right back down to blazers throats seventeen eighteen point lead doesn't matter consecutive games. When you defend the way they defended in the second half. And when you share the ball the way they do and get the contributions. They got from their bench to good. Let's talk about two things. Let's start with dream on green. And then let's talk about that bench. Draymond green had a triple double with two minutes to go in the third quarter. That's what Golden State ended up taking its first lead of this game after trailing by eighteen dream on green is playing his best basketball of the season right now. And he continues to do it in the biggest game. Averaging double double in points, and rebounds becomes close in cysts every night tonight he got twelve assists on top of that, but four steals A-block shot, and he sets the tone for this team when they were struggling in the first half to stay in the game him, pushing the ball created all the fast break opportunities in the second half he got a lot of help at one point. It was twenty two eight bench points in favor of Portland wrote Golden State spent just in the second half just jumped all over them and it wasn't just with the offense combined looney was excellent McKay defensively Shaun Livingston as always Jordan bell Quinn. Cook Jonas Gerardo. I mean, Steve Kerr's keeps throwing fresh bodies at them and one after the other. They all contribute, there just weren't enough players even come close to matching that for the Portland trailblazers and for a fourth consecutive playoff game. Steph curry has thirty plus points head that huge performance in the second half against Houston in game six, and he's been rock solid. And beyond in this series. All part of a one ten to ninety nine Golden State victory in game

Golden State Warriors receive NBA championship rings
"Golden State, let Oklahoma City back into this game. But they're able to come away the warriors with an eight point, Victoria. It seemed like a typical warrior gave the same team that we've seen over the last four years that have made trips to the finals turn the basketball over twenty times gave up a ton of offensive boards. Sixteen got sloppy at times, and then came back and got it done when they needed to not a very good Klay Thompson tonight. He goes five for twenty one for eight from three Kevin Durant over five from the three point line. He didn't shoot it. Well, and the questions I think still do remain of this bench. Can't Steve Kerr go to five bench players at one time to give these guys some rest throughout the regular season. Now, look when DeMarcus cousins comes back that's going to change things. But Ken this. Bech find a unit that can get it done and give these starter some rest throughout the regular season. I think that's a paramount if they're gonna make a run and get back to the finals for five straight. And as they wait for cousins, I think Steve Kerr has to be happy with the young centers came in Damian Jones got the start twelve points. Kevon looney had ten and ten off the bench so twenty to thirteen and four sis- from those two. Yeah. I love the athleticism of Jones, and we talked about it before the game Jones. It looney what they bring in Jordan bell all three of them kind of different different skills. They bring to the floor. So Steve Kerr has three different guys depending on matchups to go to. I think it will work out well for them and then throw in DeMarcus cousins, another all star and look at that. You got a pretty good spot. The warriors going for three straight championships and four and five years win on opening night. One eight one hundred over the
