"I think every vocalist probably has a very unique blend of what they're going after in how they have created their own sound and you mentioned kerry and faith hill. Carrie underwood faith hill. Who are some of your other musical influences. And what people expect to hear from you lyrically instrumentally and kind of your vied sure so i would have lake them vocally but as a writer. I'm very dark. Like god and country really was dark. I mean that was my christian song. But i have some dark stuff coming out like a johnny cash. Kind of lake kneeling has a little immune. It's of scary not scary. But it's one new stone is called ride on. And it's just got kind of a cynical feel and and i would think johnny cash with some if miranda was like colleague that something like that so like deep dark and a little bit salty. 'cause that's kind of what i think. Like a little feisty. I feel like marina lambert's just kind of salty in feisty. I love i love. I love everybody songs. Let's be real johnny cash man. I just like shoes highlight issues that like as a songwriter singer and songwriter. So it's like sometimes you battle the to do. I read this for me or somebody else so own but this is kind of natural state. I guess i grew up with led zeppelin. You know. I mean all these rob people. So i have a little bit of that too. Yeah you seem pretty cool lake in the video. That i just watch as like. She's she's cool. She's looks like someone. "Jonny lee miller is a force to be reckoned with and one of the future women of country jenny. We are so excited to chat with you for this christmas special. Welcome to army wife talk radio. Thank you for having me appreciate it well. I've already listened to your cell. And i'm excited to learn more about that in your experience in the military and maybe even a little bit of christmas. So let's jump into this. We read a little bit about your bio just now but can you tell us what motivated you to become a member of our military and also as you're doing that share a little bit more about your background with your service in the army here so when i was younger i always loved you know history. I wanted to be in the fbi. I wanted to do something to give back to the country. I didn't just wanna live for myself or whatever. I just always felt that way. You know i grew up with a dad who is on second amendment person history Always watch the history channel. So we we really like like that part of america's so of course. he was unhappy when i joined. But yes when. I got into intelligence just kind of lake by accident i wanted. I thought it was very fascinating field. You know the it was a high call for it in two thousand six when i went in. So you know But definitely i miss. I missed it a lot. I wish i could stay end but get really do both so. Yeah i think is really interesting. And that's one thing that caught my eye when You know this opportunity to chat with you can have came across My my side my vision. I was like oh. She's four military and she's a country singer which is our two of my most favorite things so excited to continue diving in here. One thing i want to know is what what did you find most challenging about being a woman in the united states army alexa. Good question on you know. You just have to prove yourself. I remember what happened to me. I was in the intel unit and one of the girls said to me. Miller if you want to be respected by these men you should go and change your voice. Because i was a little girl from connecticut. And i talked this jenny durkan and like no shut voice down on ever do it again. I started talking like this. And i still talk like this to this day and i found that it actually. I am worst affected because you know it sounds more professional. You know. you're a strong woman you don't talk like little weak little woman like that do that. It was a good. It was good training. I can definitely hear the the strong. The strong voice in the prowess is we talked about in your bio. I hear that come through already. So you've clearly been trained up in that. Let's let slip that question a little bit. What did you find most gratifying about being women women in the military well. I found gratifying to the on. You know just being able to do what they could do. We were told we couldn't. There was always a challenge. Which i love a challenge and you know there was this Test german army physical fitness badgen. There was no women doing it. I mean this girl wanted to do it. And by the end of the fitness competition. We all made it through me in the one girl and it was all boys in us and we were just like you know. We can do it if they can do it. And you know obviously some jobs. I don't think limits should be in but at the grand scheme of things. Women are incredibly brilliant unbound and behind the scenes because they have analytical brain bet. I'm sorry i don't really have so in positions like intelligence and stuff like that. They are. They do very well on the industry greece. So it makes a lotta sense in. I kinda feel what you're talking about there because sometimes my husband will come home. Because he's active duty right now. he'll come home. Be like all right. We're gonna do xyz because such and such said the it's gonna work. And i was like that sounds super inefficient in these like. Yeah i know i was like you know. Sometimes you just need to get like get a mill spouse in there or something. It'd be like all right. Here's how we're going to streamline this bad mama jama some great women commanders in stuff you know one of my majors was a woman and you know she was ex. Fbi she was very strong Both with uniform on without you know. Just i really looked up to her and she's still in so she's i think she's so major but now she's the colonel. I'm sorry if she's listening. No she's the colonel. Congratulations that's awesome that. Stay in that. Long i agree like the mindset is different women. Have you know they plan. They plan for the kids. They plan everything. And i think they're good planners song It's really cool to watch. Those two dynamics the strengths that the men bring to the table and the strengths of the women bring table. I think that's why we're paired together in relationships in marriage but then also watching that dynamic come to fruition with strong women like yourself entering into the military to create a more in depth or more a strategic way that we can do battle as far as intelligence goes so. I'm really interested about your songwriting. Experience against great song. listeners. If.

Get that out of the way I James Corden Dan Carson Daley but in this marketing meeting. Everyone's uh-huh my God this. This album is going to be big fucking thing in the world because all of your sons are great Blah Blah Blah. We all in like one of these is planning but did you look for all of your album. Titles were show bad sergeant. Pepper's lonely hearts club the the white album diversity issues and Lido the fuck itself titled I mean all these old people are slapping. Their papery raised the audience. But the fact that the album titles and images that he wants to associate with them are held under such scrutiny. But the songs aren't the the diversity issues songs. There's issues with everything in those songs. The fucking seventeen year old line I get capacity. US Sixty whatever. Yeah Oh yeah. Five twenty nine teen. It's changed the lyric. Like I was waiting for more like the dude thing where he's just like so so it's a hey jude. It's hey dude because that was an ED sheeran suggestion. Yeah that's that's how Ed Sheeran would have contributed to the Beatles in this world. So does that mean. Hey Dude the NICKELODEON Laurean show doesn't exist. Look Greg How man. And then if that's the case whatever happened to Mr Ernst she goes well. She was just barely legal and did stuff. I'm sorry well great song. The the song lyrics are printed on a fucking IOS notepad note that's been turned into an instagram. Might as well be and yes. Yeah so the album will be called one man only which I guess sort of even more makes him feel guilty that he's taking credit for four. Men's were yeah. Yeah but they didn't but he didn't they didn't it didn't happen in this universe. I don't understand the guilt personally like because it's like I mean he's lying. That's a problem that John James Corden and like the what you have a dream when you're on James Corden that's called a nightmare. Yeah please so easy. It's J. Record is all like oh just by yourself. Are you sure because backstage. We have four men who say you are off their obscure the beetle. So the idea that the band the Beatles could've could've existed at and never got successful is an interesting idea that is not explored beyond this dream. Be Great if it was the four. 'cause later we do get Robert. Carlyle Carlisle as John Lennon. Get get the whole trainspotting crude by the Beatles. You Robert Carlyle John Lennon got four. Live in You and Bremner as Ringo you get I guess you'd get Jonny Lee Miller as Paul or would it be played. Paul McCartney Really League even McGregor's got more of the head for hats. It does who should be Georgia. Should Be Paul. McGregor Jonny Lee Miller in the court and nightmare by the way he only says McCartney and Starr and then they cut to a fucking dumb ass like shot of the audience and you just see to do just the legs the two of them walk out like it's fucking showdown at the OK corral and then they just cut away from it like. I'm sorry if if Robert Carlyle at the end of this movie movies playing seventy eight year old John Lennon which worth have two guys playing late Seventies Ringo and ask them to be in this weather wither absolutely. That was something I think. Well Georgia's Nadja. You don't want just John George or Paul and Ringo at honoring. Uh but yeah. I don't know I guess because you that's another like you get this once. Yeah so you can't have other actors doing that if you WanNa Save the Lenin Bank. Yeah but to your point about them playing themselves. I was wondering in this move while watching this movie. Like what like do the two of them even know this movie exists. Did I read that. The Danny Boyle got the blessing in quotation marks cleared rights on this thing very expensive fences more millions of dollars. Paul McCartney's a show. Why not be? What are the agenda in connection? Did he produced this film or something. I think it seems like it's a advantage project of. Here's the thing is like just. He's the example of like major mass. I mean because he he is. He's master that's like you know he was the second choice. Actually Oh really. What was the first choice? Chris Barton of cold play at that would actually make a little more sense. I wouldn't recognize who he is. No Ed Sheeran. Not Bigger than cold play having point probably not only one of them played a super bowl halftime show which I mean coldplay's hopeless put out like four humongous like platinum selling records. Thanks to a whole play around for list I I can think of like like Ed. SHEERAN's like Bruno Mars figure to me. Because I'm like I guess I yeah I mean I personally yeah. I'm sure they've done a song. We're we're not. It's not just a question about being too old. It's questioned about having taste and I apologize. Anyone listening likes music that I don't Ah yes so you has that nightmare. Then it's so. Yeah this is. He's in the studio. He's trying to finish the songs. This is the Ed Sheeran. Hey Dude he freaks out on everybody because he gets a phone call from Lily James to be like. Oh Hey you work on your album. That's cool just wanted to say I'm dating that Dude Gavin from that shitty recording things studio one hundred years ago I just discovered sex are realized that I don't have to ruin my life waiting for you to figure it out I'm a beautiful woman and whoops. Everyone was knocking on my door. Gavin Gavin. Unserious string bean so he decides like where we're going to have this record release party. This is pushing right to the end of the film. When are we going to? What are we going to do with his record? Release Party and he has has the idea will do it at this hotel by the sea that he and Lily James used to go to. I believe that and very grateful about the fact that he had come back from a career in the toilet start again. And now he's spec in the toilet. Yeah. They've been actually I mean, I would say one thing, they're actors can act like a decent person for twenty minutes, even beyond that you can kind of get a sense of people a little bit. And I would say, for the most part, they've been actually prayer. Nice. Okay. Someone who we were enchanted with, like two weeks ago, Viney hunt is a super big favorites tone for that movie directed starting around that starred many drive for what the name of that. She was a massage therapist. There was something about a heart transplant into David Coveney. I love that movie was, she was just so genuine and delightful wonderful. It was in Chicago, where she's from that could actually segue us into the movies because she's a voice Toy Story for oh, she is next week in which I've seen, and is it as dumb Hanks was on Kimmel Saint said, it's the best one yet I don't think it's the best one yet I think I might still think. God, I love them all. Yeah, I might still think three is the best one but it's good. And it's different in that there's like a romantic angled that we have not really have before. So I'm sorry. I'm kind of all over the place. I didn't mean to take us in that direction. And she plays the voice of like a doll. You think actors love this animated work. They must. Yeah. I mean you can wear pajamas. And I heard Hank as talking about when he does because he does so much animation. But he said he likes to go on record so low not with any of the other characters because he can just that's almost always the way. It's done. Is that okay? Yeah. I didn't know if they worked together how. Okay. And, you know, one thing I was thinking actually about this the other day. How different that is become because now you'll see, like for toys store four. I've seen interviews with the stars and press tours and it used to be that the stars would not get billed in the movie because they were not getting paid very much for the movie, and they didn't have to do press for the movie. It was like a relatively easy. Even as recently as I think Robin Williams in Aladdin, that was like the first one where the, the part was so prominent that you became the even though we never saw figured out the damn title. I had a deep search. That is a survey turned to me with Bonnie hunt directed. She brought at David Duchovny Minnie driver Carroll. O'connor. That might have anybody giving twice or three to four. I think it will be three and a half didn't have and that opens not today but a week from E from today. Well, we couldn't fair because we kept seeing Mindy Cailing, and Emma Thomson, and they said the movie opened last week at where's it playing late night. Have you seen it is it out lights everywhere? Now. Okay. Excuse me, originally. It was going to be your last week. And then they tightened the number of cities, I think it was just LA New York and Tronto last. But we couldn't go c k and which of you is on interested in it. No, we see. Zombie movie. Late night. Did you like it? Did I wanted? I have review in the paper today. I wanted to like it a little bit more than I did. And you know, part of that is probably it's a knockoff of divorce pot. Let's face it, it is. And movie is so fun and holds up at least that the accent that I can tell from having seen bits of it on TV since then pretty recently, and I don't know. I guess I wanted this to be in that territory. And I don't think it is as good. I don't think it is sharply written as that one thing that kind of only has two characters Mindy Kaeling plays the character kind of based on her own experiences. I think on the office, who is in quotation, marks, diversity, higher late night, talk show that is hosted by Emma Thompson, and the other writers kind of shun her because she doesn't fit with their basically forty year old Ivy league white wasp background. And she eventually begins to get some good ideas to the host, and they sort of form bond, but they remain, I would say frenemies throughout most of the movie, the character is maybe even nastier the maranda Priestley because she's not just like lost her own world Dashti she just his nasty. How long has she supposedly been a late night? Oh, okay. Johnny Carson type of thing. Yes. But she's getting put out to pasture. We find out right at the beginning of the movie and sewn attempt to save her job. She begins to social media and have man on the street interviews. Thanks yesterday. Change things turns out that it's changed for the better. And some of the problem with the movie is that her character is a little bit hard to believe because. Who's been that's one thing. Okay. And she's in her reluctance, to change she's talking about how she doesn't wanna have celebrities on her show. She wants to continue to have Doris Kearns Goodwin. The Pulitzer prize winning biographer of LBJ. Who's ever since like maybe dick cabinet in the seventy gotten away with having doors cards Goodwin? On their show that isn't even really make sense. Yeah. But it's to be about it kinda wants to be above it, but I don't think she would've lasted thirty years of she was. And then weirdly, she does an improv set at a comedy club and he'll movie norm, not minor. Minor detail, but she supposedly kills immaterial isn't that good? And she gets a standing ovation. You're like, well, I don't really quite get that. But the office stuff I think is very well written in the relationship between those who is in -taining. And it's Thomson. I love her. What would you not see him? I mean she's fantastic and she's really funny. She's really, ultimately kind of sweet. It's like a potentially. I would say Oscar performance, if Oskar is were willing to recognize. All right. He's great. And it reminded me of a movie. Did you guys know about this movie last year that she was in the children act which? She Laming now right in that was she wanted. She was the prime minister something in English judge. And she he has to intervene. In a case of a kid, whose, whose families witness and doesn't want medical treatment, and he's going to die without it, and they form this kind of odd bond, it's a really good movie. And this will be reminded me that that will be is out there, but almost nobody saw because advantaged into the streaming and what's it called, again, to children's sacked children, children act on a novel by Ian McEwan, and it's really good. And she's fantastic in that too, so you can have a double feature. All I'm saying, hey love it. Okay. So how are we saw Selena Gomez on Jimmy Fallon the other night? And when she was at the Cannes film, festival for this Jim Jarmusch of what is it called the data don't? And on the red carpet. He's like, what the heck was Bill Murray saying to you that he was cracking up. You know. And, and she said, I'm nervous at these things. So he was just like. Do you know me do you know who I am? And he just was like saying stuff to crack her up, but he's good at that to you feel relaxed. He when he landed in candidate they were having a taxi strike because they're mad at the burn left drivers. So they were blocking traffic and he got a cabdriver debris, the picket line because he said, there's zombie invasion in canon after get there. Still, how is this, this is the movie I said, one of us will see one of. Dombi. I love everything zombie. It is pretty bloody. So I think you're right probably decided not to go. It's fun. The the to me. The key thing is told us win plays a fee is made up to look exactly like the early. Seventies rocker Johnny winter. She plays Sachin Wacker and she plays a Scottish, accented town, ninja slash mortician. I mean again, how do you not want to see that? Yeah. It's amazing. Description, crappy variety said that you would either love the movie or loathe, the movie like many Jim Jarmusch movies now. That's a quote from the critic at variety little more accessible than most Jim Jarmusch movies have been. It's not necessarily the first movie to get to the idea that zombies are sort of medical metaphor for consumerism and are being distracted by our phones. I think it's pretty clever and the everybody in the world is in the moves in Bill Murray. Iggy pop told us, Winton khloe, seventy drivers Shammy. Yeah. It's a pretty amazing cast, and I think probably all of them are in it, because Jim Jarmusch said, hey, you wanna do this movie for like four days because nobody has ever being part except actually for Bill Moran, Adam driver, who are the cops in this town, who are trying to do with essentially I'm be apocalypse on their small. Isn't even on the first page. Yeah. Part is very small, and I don't mean to suggest that kills pretty early in the movie, but Azzam kills are pretty. Yeah. Peress in it plays a news woman. She might be one of the few people survive. She plays a newswoman who we see in the background a lot reporting on the early signs and it's brought about by climate change. So I guess there's sort of a little bit. Like here religious be at that toner lagoon. But I think it will do fairly, well, I mean, all of those people probably bring in a lot of potentially different. So you're gonna see Selena Gomez until two swimming in the same. Exactly that is true. Listen, when we come back, protect them, with Chris Hewitt from the Serbian, we're talking movies. If anyone has a question, call sunny at six five one six one seven one, and we'll pick the movie and also the play mine because you cover plays and musicals for this tragedy, right back. So you don't.

"And there was live Tyler in it. So got to meet live Tyler nice got to meet Robert Carlyle Jonas, Plunkett, MacLean. It was one of those two Jonny Lee Miller, Tony Lema was in the uses national youth music is with many years earlier, and my main memory of doing that film, was that we played prisoners are Socratic prisoners. And we were. Filming a scene at a banquet, and we would just filming the same scene again, and again, and again over the course of a week long seen, and just the same food was on the table, getting more and more rotten until gradually getting intoxicated, by the fumes of rotten meat takes head and things like that. Yeah. It's a lovely story. It is nice nice. You remember that memory back and been delude video, you're in the crowd seen in? Interleaved not fat less. Keith Allen with key take for you to like the actor. One of my questions is that in the book. Yeah. That's not one of the one who suggested that that was kind of came from Matthew Crosby. Edinburgh, fringe podcast. Hey, told us Becky coming in somewhere like the Groucho club and just shouting, who wants to suck my cock. And then everyone just looked at the floor. Genuinely want an ons. Do it would take for me to no longer be alive. Good, good to the so I've been no disrespect to have you listening. We nearly used to work for used to tell them, well, me and David were writers on this TV show made by his companies. So we'd go into Keith Allen's office and right every day. Yeah. I've got a personal beef them in my, I've been over at a lot in this done. He nearly came of someone's gonna touch. Would you like eight thousand guests from the book? I said, you know this bit of history. Oh, kind of came in rectal student show was a horrible to us when the nine thousand nine hundred. And they said, yeah. Yeah. Quite interesting to talk to him, and then I decided not. Realize that want to drag, it will up some said, I thought get you on drag it all up. Thank you. I've been listening to your task. Thick book me, thank you little may, on audio, but which is a great way to enjoy. I have to say it's, it's very nice having you. "They didn't forget, like character. And so this concept of Joan being a little unhappy in London and struggling to find a each there. I really liked. And I really appreciated that sort of concept. And I'm hoping that the tensions between the two of them, m saying tension, so much, you can just subtitle, this granola says tensions too much, well, every episode is the episode, where I say delightful too much. So don't feel too bad. Okay. But at sporting the disconnect between. Joan being happy in London truck being happy in London, and then them having to go back, I think something to explore as they kind of close out this season, allows them to also provide a never ending since they are already ended the show. They already they're like perfect ending. It was such a good ending yet. No, it's so perfect is so good. So having to sort recalibrate that, and find some new stuff, I think this group of writers in actors in the show are up to that task that being said, killing not killing, but putting grits in critical condition like this is sort of a cheap. Wade ring them back. But there is also literally no, the way that you could bring them back short putting Greisinger or Marcus in mortal peril like that was literally going to be the only way, the only other way is somehow Nellie owners taken over New York City that the only other way that the end to do. They're not giving give. Yeah, they're not gonna get in the door back, which is such a shame. It would be so nice. Yeah. I'm not interested at all in Shaw, constant terror cell, which is joking. Like that's what this season's gonna be. And that's bit of shame agreed super cheap. But I also agree that something like that you had to have something of the severity for them to. Given how successfully wrap things up last season. You couldn't be anything less than this for us to buy in. So I, I feel feel for them like where they were stuck with that. Yeah, the this episode was fine. But it didn't seem like it was at the usual level some of the bleeps, there were making were bit much, and the, the confessions were just to tidy, even when they weren't supposed to be. And yeah I'm hoping that there's some. Better stuff coming it feels like they're not quite on their game, yet the writing, I should say the actors are, of course, wonderful, and they all look so fabulous as always either some fun. There's some fun articles about the, the costuming going making the rounds as Bellina. You know everyone's favorites. A richer Amer Frazier was wrote a piece for, I think it was Volker rate about the costuming on the show. But yeah, it was. Yeah. I still I want like this is one of the most enjoyable shows on my docket. You know, when I see it showing up at the DVR, I'm excited to watch it. I even if it's three in the morning or two in the morning after my draggers view, I'm like, well, I got my context in and like right for I'll like, just kinda watch it while I'm zombie. Like trying to get to sleep after my drag racer view, which is when I, I watched them had to rewatch the next day because I couldn't remember anything I had seen, but I just I hope that they're able to recapture the level they were at the end of last season. Yeah, I hope so too. And if they can't do that, that I need them to really commit to doing really good. Bits of business. Is that salvage of and I mean, her conversations between Jona truck, but I also mean things like watching Jonny Lee Miller, eat an ice cream Cup. Because that was so good in the rear like it's a very specific way than up with to eat ice cream coat. But I also like want, even though now, they're obviously, like overseas, but I want to see Sherlock Archie interact way, more so much more. Yeah. Yes. I quite you get him ice cream coat. I'm his godfather. It's ten in the morning. What is wrong with that? Good times..

I think they're all on it. I think they're all an author and the last one I did. So what's our list of they're all? So this mothra is the moth, obviously, there's like a turtle. There's something with three heads mecca Godzilla. Is that a real thing? Well, three heads bro about God's on. I don't know. I do know that we don't know which ones are here to help. And which ones are here to hurt. You said you wanna cut so our pet? No, I'm seeing he wants to make us his pet. Oh, boy actual line in the Taylor. Can what Nabi? Oh, dear. Yeah. It's it looks awful. Has there been an American the movie that didn't look no as there'd been a good one? I haven't seen any one with with the freaky sort of no neck Godzilla. When looked like it was going to be good is the most recent one. No, this is like the more Matthew Broderick. Glad that one. That would I was actually excited for that. Because I because I kind of thought oh that might be that might be interesting. They've got Matthew Broderick, and it's also wasn't. But that was like the role in Denmark one right was fine. It was fine rights already too. But they're never great. I don't know if it was. All right. The the they're never agreed. There's never any suspense. There's never any anything people didn't like Blasio because you didn't see enough. He didn't show up at the less. You saw the other creature a lot more didn't you? Yeah. Yeah. All right. But I saw it like years after came out on video or whatever. So like, so so here's the question has there ever been a good Godzilla movie and follow up has there ever been a good kaija movie? In other words, giant lizard? He kind of monsters. I don't think there has been lower field is good Pacific rim was good. A lot of people in like Cloverfield. I didn't see it. Because I thought I would get motion sickness from the way it was shot. Rob ably would. Yeah. It was. I just thought it was. Okay. So love it. It's fine to is better than the first one to be honest. Yeah. But I like like even like there's a bunch of people who didn't like Pacific rim which actually haven't seen yet. Seems like. Watch Houston's the Elliot hope for our I thought he would tell you that way. I like the way that he said it is if it was like the godfather is even seen yet. Sunday on Pacific ribs, wedding ours wedding. There you what what's going on? Now. I have to think Elliott publicly Elliott did a nice he put together a standup kind of a compromise for the for comedy clubs to put on their websites and happy to do it. And he did it very deterrent around was amazingly quick took my notes without being a dickhead about it. And it was very good. You're welcome all publicist just thought it was great. And she of course now. Nope. Port that sentence. It has nothing to do with anybody in this story believe it or not. All right. So yeah, just not worth saying not fair to her to share a private comment that she made. Let's go back to Jonny Lee Miller, I'm worried that you don't know. I don't know who it is seen Trainspotting, right? Such rangebound is one of the blonde in Trainspotting, right or some of their colored hair. Maybe we not argue that Garin leans. What's the point of my state? Why this came up? Yeah. No. I can see it. Yeah. We all can see things that is. Hackers a young Angelina Jolie. I'm sure I did it's ridiculous. Of those fortuitous positions that you're in? I, I was under the impression as an answer, the what you do is you perform to a high enough level, an a good enough standard that people eventually realize, oh, he's a solid ACTA. So we need a solid actor. Let's employ that person. But unfortunately in this business you have to have that. But you also have to go on kind of a run this industry from my side of things about going on runs, you know? So if you happen to be an actor in a marvel project or Star Wars project or or Harry Potter ordering, that's something that's going to put you front row center, and then you need to kind of do something a little tonic to that. I think in it can moss is so funny, Richard, I owed e and then I'm so sorry. I don't remember the name of the girl, but it's, you know, it's these two deeds who work in the basement, and they're not guys and the, you know, the running joke through every episode. Like if you try ptunning on on enough again, tried turning on and off again. And then the girl is like that Boston. I think being on Netflix for years, we just binged the entire show. Again, like a couple of weeks ago. Probably the fifth time. It's so funny, I love it. Check out the crowd IT crowned. Okay. I'm going to go into some of my mo- detective shows that I'm such a fan of and say Sherlock. Oh, that's on my list. Yeah, I li- with a Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch. Martin Freeman is Watson and Benedict. Cumberbatch is Shelat combs the costings incredible. It is such a great show. Episode is like a full movie nineteen minutes. Yeah, right. Yeah. Can hour and a half sometimes almost two hours. This was on Netflix. Yeah, on that flakes I, I when I started that show, I was this incredible. Again, that chemistry. I love him Shylock. On a modern day setting and London. Exactly. And the thing is another show that I love and I'll just bring them up together as lamentably which is also a modern comes, but it's in New York, and that's with Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu as what has Watson, which they did really well. 'cause she basically comes in as his like what they call it a drug when when you're on drugs and she's like his sort of that kind of idea, but they're like, oh, sponsor sponsor. She's his sponsor and becomes basically his sidekick. So those two shows still go together like you can enjoy both of those. So similarly, grill so different. Oh, well, I mean, the one is in New York. He's working with a New York police department and with a woman and the other one is so so completely own thing. Mentally, just taking the concept, the general idea, and they do put things in there about that are in the books about Sherlock Holmes. The way he is. Quirky, he has. He does a great job Jonny Lee Miller Moriarty in, oh, really? Autism. Hotties in that they have his things about various things that you can see from the films and everything, but show lock is very British. This is very American. I haven't seen entry. I loved Sherlock. It's tastic. I mean, come Abacha's incredible the way it is brilliant. It's very smart. I love it, but maybe we'll check out two of my favorite shows lamentably still going signed up season. Seven, I believe on season six and it that both. Awesome. And I highly recommend them as detective shows. Okay, good. Cool. All right. The next on my list. This is literally on the top of basically every lest you'll ever Google for the most binge were the TV show which is the American version of the office. But I have both. Words, and this takes me back first of all to the running joke on waiting for the trade about the Phoenix just acting like a bird and doing things like trying to pick fights with mirrors, and also to the i. which then takes me to the idea of superheroes flying into windows, which I find really funny like probably funnier than it really justifies Warren. Kenneth Worthington, the third, you watch where you're go on. Yes, see, it's always funny and that brings us to the card from chapter ten, right? That's the dark riders and they are hunters. Chapter eleven has archangel hunter, and finally, these sparkley pointy star of the show himself strife who is unsurprising Lee according to strife a hunter also. He's definitely the smoldering bad ass hero whose probably got a fancy sword and dark flashing eyes, and he's bound on revenge to all the people who wronged him and nobody understands him. But you diary it's true. It's true, which brings us to uncanny x men number two hundred ninety six crescendo life. The other uncanny issues. This is written by Scott lob dole with pencils by Brandon Peterson and inks by Terry Austin. And we've been doing this the entire crossover in often do it in our show in general. But we're definitely going to be moving around certain plot points just so we don't go back and forth and back and forth. And essentially Rick. Half the comic and be very boring. So we'll start out even though the issue doesn't at the exhibitor school there. Beast has finally extracted strifes bullet at from executor and working in parallel with him on the other side of the Atlantic Mira. McTaggart has been able to extract the computer code responsible for his disease, and I love this part. So fucking much because you'd think it would be like, you know, as an season and jeez or something like that. No, no, no, no. The virus is in fact like a computer virus and it's a big screen with a picture of strifes face on it laughing and the tax scrolling infinitely over that face. You are smart, but I am smarter. This is fucking straight out of hackers. This is like the cookie, monster Flemish flexing pen, Gillette in the 'climactic hacking seen near the end. I love everything about ninety s this is, oh, man. I was gonna ask what strifes hacker handle would be. But no, it would obviously just be strife with ally totally, which is striped with a lie, ma- maybe that's how he got started. Maybe he was a renegade hacker played. Jonny Lee Miller in earth forty, nine, thirty five or whichever one it was. Has anyone ever written like at a specifically a hackers, a you of nineties x. men because I would just I would read the shit out of that. Didn't this come up on the show awhile in the past where we realized that if kitty Pryde and Doug Ramsey were in the hackers university would just use their normal superhero names because cypher and shadow cat already sound like hackers names, right? And I was thinking about that and it kind of goes for everyone..

"Dan, you the wanna look to the Wikipedia page? Yeah. Homes, I don't retain it. Maybe you should. Say a lot of this movie, Ashley Jensen? Yes, she is great. A lot of times people show up here voice. I'm like, is that fucking James? Corden. Over and over already was, was James court. James gordon. Especially when he's when he's did his known pool, carry known. Yeah, James corden not in this film, but it is the kind of, but he was in the emoji movie which we watched. I don't know. We haven't really set up so yet have we doing okay, so get ready. We will. We'll talk about James Gordon and that one true believers face front Excelsior as seen in that mode. That's a story for another time like the giant rat of Sumatra Sherlock Holmes Sherlock gnomes. So Sherlock misses having an enemy now that Moriarty is dead and he clearly doesn't respect Watson. He just doesn't give him any respect turns. I gotta say that Kim believe to stepped on his his brawny Dangerfield over here. Sorry. No. Now we're Rover Dogar 'field. Just Rover Dangerfield. I knew to Rover Dogar pup as you can tell es road. Great. Rodney Dangerfield perte why would I be able to instill that use name has been mangled into comprehensibility. His name is Rover, Dogar Fido. Is that a hardy fire scene character Senator stand. What I was going to say though, sorry about interrupting that, like don't be about his fair play. The original character is. Sort of an arrogant cold man, but he's still likable impart because of his devotion and friendship with Dr Watson, how do you feel about feel like this Charlotte homes is less take on the stories and more take on the Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock could be. How do you feel about this understanding of Sherlock Holmes, much the way that every marvel hero like doctor strange now, ironman a a wise ass who is a real fuck up, but he's a hero in the end. Even the characters that shouldn't be like that, like doctor strange. How do you feel about every Sherlock Holmes now being like kind of sociopath, who is mean to other Jonny Lee Miller who's basically old Sheldon old version. Well, that's the second part of my thought. Is that like Glenn, I teed it up. You're welcome. This Sherlock gnomes is so much less likable than Sherlock Holmes because he's such an asshole to his Nome Dr Watson watch. Now there's no..
