"The saints are good enough with the current quarterback situation to take now that the line has in fact moved. I think it's going to be a pretty ugly game. And you know, it's a Dallas team tied for number one in the league in yards for play on the season. Averaging over a yard per play more than the saints already, and now you're throwing a guy at quarterback who might not even be a real legitimate quarterback in the NFL. I don't think that bodes particularly well for New Orleans, but we have seen Stranger Things on these Thursday night games as well, right? We have seen the Miami Dolphins beat Lamar Jackson and Baltimore on Thursday night earlier in the season. So you certainly can't rule anything out, but I do think that the cowboys would be the best way to go if you absolutely could not avoid making a play on Thursday Night Football at this point in time. Now let's move to the Sunday slate here on the GBI show and we will go to giants dolphins speaking of the dolphins who just mentioned them. The dolphins are four and a half point favorites, total is 41 for this game. And this is a contest where both of these teams coming off of wins, right? The Giants beating the Philadelphia Eagles last week, that 13 7 defensive struggle, very admirable performance by the Giants defense, whereas dolphins, they'd be counting a lot of panthers and did a nice job moving the ball in the second half of that game to keep the Panthers out of reach. And it's a game here where the question is going to be just what does the quarterback situation look like for the New York Giants. It's ironic, right? You have the dolphins who have been dealing with quarterback injuries for a lot of the year, well now the New York Giants Daniel Jones questionable with a neck injury. He says he's going to play, but who knows if that's actually the case. If he doesn't Mike glennon, the backup quarterback for the Giants, that did not go well for the Giants earlier in the season when Jones was dealing with the concussion that he suffered against the Dallas Cowboys. You know, it's a game that I would lean toward Miami here again. It's a game where the line has moved pretty significantly. It was a three point spread earlier in the week and then Daniel Jones news dropped and moved to four and a half. I don't feel comfortable betting that far above the original number. Both of these teams, you know, relatively statistically even both bottom ten and yards per play offensively kind of in the middle of the pack, defensively in that regard. I think that what sets the dolphins apart right now besides the fact that they're just riding high, and they have one fourth straight to get to 5 and 7 after a one in 7 start, I think the fact that they've kind of figured something out here with two to jaylen waddle and it's become one of the better kind of unsung combinations in the NFL as of late waddle with almost 80 receptions at this point in the year. I think that that is a pretty great connection that Daniel Jones has not seemed to have developed with any of his wide receivers just yet. And then, of course, you throw in the fact that Jones might not go in this game. And I think that the only play to make here would be the dolphins, I'd be curious if the line comes down a little bit if Jones is actually confirmed to be playing in the game. I think the best move would be to kind of weigh things out and see if that does in fact happen. And if you can get a better price with the dolphins as you get a little bit closer to the game. Elsewhere on Sunday, Indianapolis Colts, 9 and a half point favorites on the road taking on the Houston Texans total 45. Last week, the colts, they did lose to the bucks. It was a one touchdown game. Now, Tampa Bay covered the number there, but admirable performance by the Indianapolis Colts, put up 31 points in the loss, the offense continued to roll, whereas the Texans, they looked rough against the New York Jets. They end up losing by a touchdown at home to the jets. And again, it's another real statistical mismatch here, especially offensively with the colts gaining over a yard per play more than the Texans so far. This season, Houston, dead last in the NFL and yards per play. You have to remember rates and contexts require their Davis mills started a bunch of games for the Texans and the offense completely went off the cliff during that time. So, you know, they're not quite as bad as the numbers show. It is worth pointing that out. But it's also worth pointing out here that the colts are foreign one against the spread on the road this season. And they take on a Texan scene. To be fair, three and two against the number at home, including a cover against the Patriots earlier in the season. I think that the offense of the Indianapolis Colts is built for a game like this. It's a game where you're going into your buy, but you have a lot to rely on offensively. Carson Wentz can push the ball down the field because defenses have to respect what Jonathan Taylor does in the running game..

"On that rant about how he would lock up and to man and are able to run some different types of zone coverage that way and match zone, that type of stuff with him in the game. Really, really awesome player. But the lifeblood of their secondary are those two safeties. Their system is designed around truly poyer and hide. And their ability as Belichick said on Wednesday to be interchangeable. Those one guy can play deep in one God can play low. They can play too high, they can play a robber in a post safety deep. They can do it all. And you never know what they're going to do after the ball of snap. They might start in too high and then finish imposed or vice versa. So they can really spin the dial in disguise with those two guys because of how versatile and how interchangeable they are and experienced in the system. So if there's two guys that you got to make sure you know where they are at all times and when you're past in the football, if you're Matt Jones, it's those two safeties because we know for the Patriots so much of their coverage, so much of their passing game is based off of the shell, right? Is it too high? Is it single high? So in order for Mac to make the right reads and get the ball into the right places, then reading those safety rotations is going to be critical. And a lot of quarterbacks have a lot of trouble with that. There were times where Tom Brady had trouble with it against his bill's defense when buffalo's defense got better towards the end of his career in Foxborough. So I think that you have to look at those two safety and that kind of cat and mouse game between Mac Jones and hide employer as one of the biggest matchups in this game. Even though it's kind of outside the box, it's not like they're truly going one on one against each other. That to me was that was my number one key matchup this week going into the game was IDing where those guys are recognizing where they are. They're also, they don't use them a ton as blitzers, but they will blitz. And we know that Mac has had trouble with those safety blitzes over the last couple of weeks as well. So finding those two is going to be critical in this game. I'm going to audible and talk about cannabis specifically, Massachusetts premier cannabis dispensaries insa. SA. They are the premiere because the founders pat and Pete re-engineered the cannabis.

CNN's April Ryan Asks Pete Buttigieg to Address the 'Racism' Built Into Our Roadways

"So back to Tucker Carlson last night. So April Ryan is, you know, cooing and ooing and I over the transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg. Which I always love how so many people point out the former mayor of South Bend Indiana is now the transportation secretary. And of course he's weighing in on COVID. He's weighing in on racism. He's weighing in on everything except transportation. Now, having said that, I guess roads and bridges are ostensibly under his purview. So April Ryan asks Pete Buttigieg about the racist roads and bridges we've built. And he answers it answers in the affirmative. Now, I understand there is allegedly a history. I've seen the narrative that some of the planners who were building roads and bridges did some pretty bad things allegedly about where they placed the highways, but I had never heard that the bridges were intentionally built low so that bus loads of blacks and Puerto Ricans couldn't go to the beach. I'm not kidding you. This is so crazy. And well, let's play the exchange before we play Tucker, Yuri. Let's play April Ryan, asking the question that transportation that roads and bridges in America are racist. Here we go. Here's the answer from the transportation secretary when April Ryan. We actually had to put the question first. Do we have April's question? It's all out of order here for some reason. Let me get this. I guess we have a question on tape guys or no. All right, we'll get the question because the question is crazier than the answer. So she asks him, what about the inherent red I'm paraphrasing here about the racism that was inherent in the roads and the bridges that were built. Here's Pete Buttigieg's answer. As to where we target those dollars, you know, I'm still surprised that some people were surprised when I pointed to the fact that if a highway was built for the purpose of dividing a light in the black neighborhood or if an underpass was constructed such that a bus carrying mostly black and Puerto Rican kids to a beach or it would have been in New York was designed too low for it to pass by. But that obviously reflects racism that went into those design choices. I don't think we have anything to lose by confronting that simple reality. And I think we have everything to gain by acknowledging it and then dealing with it, which is why the reconnecting communities that $1 billion is something we want to get to work right away, putting the work. Well, I know how you fix it. You've got to tear the bridges down. You obviously have to take the bridges down. If Jefferson, if a statue of a confederate soldier needs to be torn down, you obviously have to tear down all the bridges that were built too low so that busloads of black and Puerto Rican kids couldn't go to Jones beach. Of course you gotta take the bridges down. And you probably ought to tear up the

"Because branded and i did not want to do the song we thought it was too jazzy and common behind. I just love the man and gonna make me love somebody else. We thought it was too jazzy. So we sat down and we had a calm. It was like brenda valerie myself. Dexter and cynthia and we said well. Dad said because as i said the music is just all is so different and so different index to say yes it is and so then valerie said so this beautiful she says so what we should do is do a different type of bat of singing on it and and we're like what valerie and so we after talk and she said why not have no lead singer but you know how you mom always said less let let the unisons and harmonies be elite and may brennan and simply saying hey. That's that's interesting less. Try that. We went in the studio to takes after rehearsing brennan. Valor got together and we. We decided where we were gonna do. The unisem where we were going to do. The harmonies to takes took us and it was done. I knew then that that was the special song because a lot of the other songs. Like you're gonna make me love somebody else. And who can i run to. It took more takes than then to to get it right to the point of where everybody felt comfortable that this was hit but it was just too takes with nights over egypt. Wow yeah i for me. That's like yeah and this amazing too because it was actually the third single galleries also the one that said that should be the first single and during that time damn amblin always had to have the first single on the jones goes and it he just come by valerie. She was so upset nights over. Egypt should be the first single off of their get as much love as you can and it actually came off as a third single and that's only because quiet storm just forgot about Finally found that man of mine and get us love as.

"Just are a to now we we no matter who the artist was and there were a lot of artists that you know hadn't even made it yet but you know if we liked the song and you know they were willing to pay pay the money you know we were. We would do it and we would give our best. And the the the thing that a lot of people don't know is that for the another reason why so many people liked us is because we created a lotta those backgrounds They knew that if they gave us the song we will create the background parts. Yes i mean arrangement some some on some for a lot. Now some did come with you know specific backgrounds but my reputation became such that. They'd be like okay. Well the hey. Here's the song. What are you guys. Think drop shirley not Norman connors Lou rawls Well then that we they let us do just you know. Control the background god. It's so many people just songs with artists. That will i you no matter what song i'm doing. Let the jones coming here and and do and do. I think now brinda was alive. 'cause memory is so much better than my she she. She can remember every single artist background on everything. Yeah but but me. It gets a little fuzzy sometimes because when people post stuff now and i'll be like oh yeah. I remember that we did do that. Song you know so With with signing two Philly international. I'll say that Probably in my opinion because you know we my dad purchased all the records played at the house all the time. I will say that you guys were probably given a more contemporary up-to-date town than and a lot of the acts that weren't philly international beckmann like it was almost a thing where you instantly within the first two seconds that you were listening to affiliated national song fit based on like the trademark of the strings in all the mixing of the record or whatever. But like you're gonna make me love. Somebody else sounded nothing. Like what philadelphia. Especially what was happening in. Nineteen seventy nine anything really. I like a woman telling you. Better get your shit. Together right exotic. Yeah so I mean i. I would assume met still the same group of people like it's still dexter wants l. and gamble and huff in all those. I know mckinley jackson also worked on the record as well but like what was the discussion. Basically on how to present you guys in your sound data one of the things that i think gamble and huff they were purposely trying to take us away just a little bit for from the strings and horns like say like of what they did with three degrees and wanted. They wanted us to be more funky more soulful more earn. Be and if you noticed deaf. Very first jones girls album. That's exactly. I mean i'm at your mercy's on there which is a heart wrenching mallet. Then of course there's you gonna make me love somebody else today. There's yeah exactly so run to. Who can i run to yup..

"All right, everybody. Welcome back. We are here today to be able to talk to you about a wonderful little train. And when I say this name, you're going to even think of two different one. His locker to, he hung out with the Ninja Turtles. And that's right, we're talking about Casey Jones today. Wonderful strain over there. Brandon, what kind of strain are we talking about today. Did you mean Davy Jones? Davy Jones? Casey Jones a wonderful strain. What type of strain is it? This is going to be a sativa dominant. Hybrid. Jones is a fantastic wake and bake, strain. One of the top ones out there. It's mixed with train wreck and tie an East Coast. Sour Diesel ink also popular for the Ninja Turtles and the original Casey Jones, back in the nineteen hundreds who died saving a ton of civilians on his tray. Oh that's right. That's right. Yeah. So if you're into trains or hockey masks, maybe check it out or turtles. Yeah. Yeah. No. I mean and and I've had personal Spears. Chase Jones actually going to give a shout out to Willie, Nelson's Reserve that's the one that we remember that one. It was pretty good. You know you'll go through different cannabis over there and for those who are getting indoctrinated in the Cannabis world, they're all going to smell the same. They're all going to smell like skunk e, hayat, smelly things that you've grown up or if it's anything, like I smell pot, but it's definitely not. You're getting some really soft tones with this one very earthy smell, but a wonderful way to be able to consume straight flower. If you're doing it that way, either through a pipe bomb or whatever may you may be using, but it's wonderful in that sense. It's it's so rough. I remember that one fares finally over there, there was an industry and we got, they're going to that one another episode. But you know with sativa over there and as you can tell, there's a theme at that one, I'm a huge fan, Brandon likes them, but prefers is Indica so, you know, a little bit of sugar. Spice. Right? I'm more of the spice Brand's. Very sugary for a little sweet. So separated my coffee. No. But you know so it can take a strategic. A question that's in my head is somebody is going into sativa hybrid sativa dominant hybrid, what are they looking for? Now when I mean let's talk about more of Baptists and all before the recreational. Yeah of course some Casey Jones is it's actually really Pleasant sediba so it's uplifting. A lot of people use it for anxiety and depression and stress. So it has a very chatty after affected conversation. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Sometimes a certain strains such as in a very strong Indica, not a whole lot of conversations going at know. You become one with the couch. Yeah. Or just staring at that one. This is a great time to like watch movies and it doesn't have to be dead. Like deep Clockwork Orange you know, Pink Floyd The Wall type movies and like you could literally watch anything. You could watch one of the worst films of all time. Battlefield are actually quite enjoy it. I would say, I don't need a couple sativa, I don't know. Like I definitely is like what you stated, it's more of a conversational, you know, would be great at a get-together bought a party over there. Would you say that an edible would be preferred or would be smoking flower or vape? That depends on you. If you are new, I always put a recommend flower or if they suck Vapes are usually higher concentrate. So my go-to, if your new is always going to be flower, but a lot of people don't particularly like pagemill. So if you're going to do that, there's teachers or our pens, The Vaping is easier. You just get a slightly higher concentrate. So dosing always start low and slow down. Well, you talked about that, too. I mean, some of the ways that I was introduced to cannabis was like a bubbler instead of a pipe and the bubbler actually helps a lot with that one. You talked about before another episode that we thought we were like an ice Butler. Yeah, they have ice catchers at the top of the bomb. Actually, most of the big water pipes, they'll have some of them will have an ice catcher, which is just a little spot that sticks out and you can stick to 3 for ice cubes Up, Up Your Bum stem. And so as you're pulling, it'll cool it down a lot. And if you are new to cannabis, that is a very easy way to be introduced, it has really soft. And it mean, you know, you are inhaling. I mean, let's not beat around. The bush is a carcinogenic smoke, all smoke is carcinogenic and it's one white, but it doesn't have like, when you have commercialized tobacco, right? That is going to be, they've got additives to that one and birth. To get into. Like these are all the chemicals, that cuz it's a lot of it as in the plant from the growing. That's where a lot of these chemicals come from is pasta size, things like that. And that's one of the great things about cannabis is dead. That is typically frowned upon within the industry, to be able to use any type of, you know. Oh, yeah. Mainstream like, I gotta keep these bugs off. That's where a lot of these are grown hydroponically off inside, grow houses over there, there are outside ones but they use our own special blend of herbs and spices on the line there. But I mean it's kind of go off but you know it is. It's it, you know, when you talk about that one and you always go to that and I always wondered why you're like, hey, you know, flowers probably the best way into it. But, you know, take take me through. Why is flour by far? The easiest way to be able to be introduced to the Cannabis world. Yeah, the feeling that you get doesn't last long. Along with flour as it will from an edible, a tincture, even a vape, see what it doesn't hit the same highs because it's flour. It doesn't have the same concentrated dose. You're not going to get quite the same highs and it comes down faster. So if your new always low and slow, take a low-dose, see how it hits. Wait, 30 minutes waiting on a few smoking. You know, and see how that affects you because you don't want to have an experience that your very first experience is miserable and not because of that you stay away from touching it at all. Yeah, I would agree. You know, I told you about years and years and years ago. I mean this is over twenty years or twenty years ago man. Yeah about that. So a twenty years ago had an experience with cannabis and he got to the point where I was so nauseous I was throwing out. Like I didn't think that was possible but it definitely is. And that's why, you know, the heart into it, Brandon just said, you know it's better to go slow and low. Somebody that one if you're you're smoking it over there, taking a small break without inhaling, ready, double puff, fill them out and filling your lungs. When you're you're letting it out, you don't want to see this massive like Dragon cloud coming out, right? You might not well, you definitely, but I mean, and I'm at that point where I can do that but, you.

I'm not selfish guy that I think a lot of you guys would expect for me to be not me. No, sir. I'm here for everybody. And I'm trying to explain this to you.
