Bills, Vikings and Cowboys score Thanksgiving wins.

"AP sports, I'm Mike Reeves, it was a busy Thanksgiving Day in the NFL with three games on the schedule, the bills were in Detroit to meet the Lions, correspondent Denny cap, was there and has this report. Tyler bass boots a 45 yard field goal with two seconds left as the bills hang on to beat the Lions 28 25 on Thanksgiving Day, passes heroics from 8 necessary after he missed an extra point late in the fourth quarter, which allowed Lions kicker Michael batchley to sign the game on a 51 yarder with 23 seconds left. Sometimes you do everything that you write and sometimes you just get unlucky. We got unlucky, but we have a great group of guys that support me and have my back and I was able to reset and focus on the next big. Josh Allen put bounced into position to win the game, orchestrating a 48 yard drive spurred by a 36 yard pass the Stefan Diggs. Bob Stephens was on hand to watch the cowboys host the Giants. Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy says the cowboys time of possession keyed the win. Excellent division win game we had to have and I love the fire team and really what tried to break their method. And one thing I'm talking about is controlling the ball was a big focus for us today. That Prescott threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns the Dalton Schultz, CD lamb caught 6 for one O 6, while Daniel Jones threw for two 28 in a touchdown for the Giants. In Minnesota Kirk Cousins finds Adam Thielen in the end zone with 9 34 left to give the Vikings a 33 26 win over the Patriots, it was cousins third scoring strike of the game, just a phenomenal catch by him. I thought that the way he's able to catch that football, keep his feet in bounds. It just says a lot about his ability. One of the things he does really well is his body control and he's just overall athleticism and he showed it there. A great play by him. CEO Nate Jones Talks About His Company's Xlear Nasal Spray

"Very interesting story here. I want to talk about how the Federal Trade Commission is targeting a company for trying to help people. It's remarkable. Nate Jones joins us, CEO of clear, and that is spelled X clear. Welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Well, hey, thanks for having me. Tell us your story. No, the story is I'm a founder CEO of a clear spell that are, but it's pronounced clear. And we've been selling nasal hygiene products for over two decades since 2000. And most people are familiar with using a saline spray. Ours actually has xylitol in it. It's a sugar molecule that is actually been shown to block bacterial and viral adhesion of a variety of bacteria and viruses. My father's a physician. He started using it in a nasal spray to wash out the airways of young children. In his practice, that we're having recurrent upper respiratory issues. And so we've been doing this for 20 years. And when this pandemic came along, we had a bunch of doctors that were using it for people with COVID and they called us and said, hey, you guys need to look into this. And so we started doing research and trying to find out what was going on there. And what we found in some of these studies and there was a study that came out of university of Tennessee where they showed that xylitol actually was able to block the SARS CoV-2 virus from adhering to the tissue. And so we started we went to the FDA and said, hey, we would like to do a human trial on this and see if it works. And they said, well, no, you're not a drug. You can't do it. We've tried many times. We tried to go into barda. We've tried getting this information into the CDC. And it's just been ignored.

"The cowboys if dak Prescott would play better than Cooper rush. I feel like that would go a long way to achieving their ultimate goal because he was out there looking like cheeks. Stanky, hairy cheeks. In that game. Against the packers. A game, by the way, in which the packers decided for much of the game, we ain't really gonna throw the ball. Like they just took they were like, we're going to run. And that was a smart play, man. If you're lying in that good and your quarterback hadn't been that good, batter them. Especially when Aaron Jones played for Bonnie fantasy team. Yeah, you go ahead and do that. And they put 200 yards on the ground on them. And it made life. It appeared a whole lot easier for Aaron Rodgers. Like, good for them. Nobody actually thinks they're good, but hey, glad you guys could get something that you could talk about at the end of the year. Y'all need to feel good, right? Air riders need to be a little happier. What are you hanging out with pat McAfee? I personally can't imagine what it must be like if you went a bad mood and then you go talk to McAfee, he seems like he's relentlessly positive in those things. That could be annoying. You know what I'm saying? When you ain't really into move forward and you feel like your coworkers is bummed. Like I can see how that would not necessarily be a thing. But with Prescott, hey man, it wasn't there. Like they got better as the game went on, but it wasn't there and they lost that game because of him. Like for me, that's the number one thing. Yeah, they blew a two touchdown lead in the fourth quarter. But part of being that guy that you're supposed to be is, all right, we're just gonna make sure they don't get the ball again. And they didn't do that. I don't think that fourth down call in overtime is worth any discussion to be perfectly honest. They were stuck in a situation where there was not a good option. Either go for fourth and four, pun it from there or kick it 53 yards in the cold on the road off grass. No matter what call was made, if it didn't work, there was going to be a measure of skepticism. And from the looks of it, no matter what the cowboys defense wasn't going to stop. Like no matter how it spot, I got no knock on them for that part. I look right at the quarterback, and I'm like, hey man, this one was on you. I don't think there's any other way to look at it. I don't think that there's any other way to see it. This one was on you. Now I want to close this little NFL run with I saw the charges of playing 49 his last night, not going to lie. I went to sleep on that wake up 49 as a one. Congratulations. "Boy, speaking of justice delayed, a Connecticut judge has ordered Alex Jones to pay an additional $11 billion. 473 million on top of right, he had already been in order to pay 965 million. I mean, you know, you see him openly taunting these poor families and saying you're never going to see a diamond, there's no money. Is he going to be able to evade this justice forever? He's not going to evade financial justice. And that is important, particularly, you can't make the sandy hook families hold. But you can punish the you know what out of Alex Jones for lying and taking advantage of the tragedy of people's children being murdered. I want him prosecuted in the event the evidence supports a prosecution. That's where justice comes in. Money is important. "Talk about the piece that you wrote behind you. People who watch this on video can see behind you the image of a young Patty Hearst, symbiote, the symbionese Liberation Army in the 70s when we were kids kidnapped her. She was of extremely wealthy heiress. And people who are younger wouldn't know this, but something happened. Her captors sort of brainwashed her into thinking the way they were thinking. So that she sided with the people who tortured and raped and kidnapped her. And it's called Stockholm syndrome. And you've written a piece that's streamed dot org that deals with that. So go ahead and tell us about that piece. Yeah, Patti Hearst was grabbed by a bunch of San Francisco radicals of the kind that formed Kamala Harris, Willie Brown was the political mentor of Kamala Harris. He was also the political mentor of Harvey Milk, the gay activist and the reverend Jim Jones, the left wing cult leader who started that compound in Guyana and got everyone to take cyanide and drink in the Kool-Aid. This ferment, this world of crazed radicalism is what gave birth to the woke movement, which currently dominates the entire Democratic Party and is being posed on the United States.

"And keeping in mind, he did this with a historically dreadful franchise. If you are my age, I'm 42, you don't think of Washington that way because they won three super bowls in 9 years in your lifetime. But you take those years, you take the Joe Gibbs years out of the sample. The only team with a worse winning percentage that goes back is the Cardinals. That's how go look up the history of that football team. So we cook if you were the man that oversaw this team become a winner. Right. Yeah, you got a pretty strong argument there in place. And so yeah, that's what Washington fans went from. Like one of these, I'll do what it takes and to be fair to Snyder. He is, I'll do what it takes guy. He just don't know what it takes. He just be doing stuff. Now he thinks he knows what it takes. And he's like, oh, I know what it is. Is this guy? Bring him on and it never quite works. Yeah, he wants to be, I think this is all connected to. It's the most important thing in his life. It's when he's cool and he wants to be involved. And not committed involved, like the kind of evolved that you can only be when you own something. You can pop in and make big time decisions despite not putting in whatever work or effort. I mean, that's one thing about Jerry Jones that I mean, you can criticize him for a lot of things, but he's always been fully engaged. Like he's not a part time cowboys owner. "That one in New York. You see, you understand what I'm saying. It was in New York, right? We talk about New York. And by the way, that was in January of 2014. In O three, Dan is not a new he was swimming upstream. Try to make that happen. And he didn't get it and went off when he did not get it. Apparently the owners of the car knows the bid wheels are beloved, which by the way tells you a lot about NFL owners. If you know anything about the bit wheels and you ain't gonna tell me them jokers are contributing to the bottom line, but anyway, he launched a broadside against the wrong people because, you know, that's a venerable, they've been owning that team for almost a century. Like they've had that bad boy forever. And what they would do. And Snyder went and bombed them. So he got no homies in the odors ranks other than Jerry Jones and the story wanted to make it clear. Jerry Jones ain't really his homie no more. I don't want to make any leaps, but given who's involved in the story and how the story was framed. Yeah, it all comes down to, yeah, some people ain't ain't got your back no more. Yeah. I read that. And I was like a bit bob crap and got you back no more. I made Jerry got you back no more. Did Jerry don't have his back, he got a problem, but what can they do? 'cause I do believe he'll burn everything down. He is in this for Dan Snyder, hard stop. I mean, that's back to my point about understanding that you got to give people a graceful exit. And he don't want a graceful exit. He don't want to exit at all. But you got to think from your perspective, strategically, like how am I going to help this person walk away with their dignity? Because it's all about making decisions. And you want, you either want one thing to be so attractive they can't refuse it or one result to be so devastating they can't accept it. And they're not giving them anything 'cause like right now it feels like the option is walk away in shame or stay here and blow everything up. They called her my man which I think is a risky move if that's what you want to do. I would make this argument, though. It is entirely possible that they offered him the graceful exit or not. Not that they offered it to him that the plan was to offer it to him. And they're like, Dan, just want to talk to you about what's going on. These other owners, you know, and what's happening here. And his first thing is, I'm going to tell you right now. I ain't selling. You ain't got to say another word. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, you think I can't tell what's going on here? Right, right, right, you think I open a Chinese restaurant in the middle of the hood. I don't know what's going on. I represent. I am not selling this team. Right, oh, okay. Okay, look, look, Dan, Dan, we want to talk about something else, but clearly this is not a good time. So we'll just call you a little bit later. Maybe see if we can set another time. "Titans dance revenge. Match against the texans chance jets saints patriots. No chance and the colts chance we got one gay. We think they go with. All we got is war so the thing is teams get better throughout the course of the season. You got a rookie quarterback and quarterbacks most important position he could get a lot better over the course of the season. So i'm saying this. Based on what i saw this past week. And he's a volatile player. He gave us a lot of jameis winston and week one where it was like when it was good it was great when it was bad it was funky so if you can level out and maybe even the volatility means that. He might have one game where he just throw for four touchdowns and knowing exceptions the next week he one touchdown and three interceptions and they might come up and beat somebody that they shouldn't beat 'cause i mean they do have pros out there saying this in college so they might win more games but based on what i saw last week who be along the i mean every that bill for this some slower bill now. It's going to be hard. It's hard for trevor lawrence for the first time in his life. I'm not saying he's spoil any so exceptionally talented. It was on an exceptionally talented team. Where like we that. He threw that pick. I think i'm gonna say it was on out against that cover to and in college. I guess for him. The corner can't make that play when trevor lawrence throw the ball. No no now they can now. They began by everybody. Who goes through college pros. I find that they play any sort of back seven position or anything associated with that. Like what did you learn. Everybody's fast here like that's what they say. Go from high school to college and then go from college pro. it's a whole nother level. But not everybody here is fast. The guys that we say are not fast. No they're actually really really fast. Vida kinda fast. Yeah you just don't think about it that way but kind of fast fast compared to those other news but he is blazoned like do you go from high school to college. All the people on the field where the best player at their high school maybe to one of the best players in their state. Then you go to the league. Everybody was the best player in their conference best player on their team. The talent is is pretty impressive. And he'll he'll get better because he is exceptional. He's always been the best player everywhere he's been. He had taken jobs in college off a nationally ranked teams which just doesn't happen that off de and oh boy. We got seventeen as it is one last thing mack jones before the season started. I went on my mac jones tour. Because i watched his preseason games and i was like that boy going to be good because before the draft. I'll know by looking at max jones special really. I didn't get any much of that gay. It's not even the numbers. He put up as much as it's the way that he plays. He plays in a way that seems like he is out thinking everybody. What i think he's doing is probably narrowing it down to have one thing to worry about in the course of a specific play but that whole learning process and that you get from experience like it feels like he skipped all of that he's second level stuff already which is impressed. The thing i had to give him credit for that. We didn't give them enough. Credit for is that would got hurt date year dated. Ms beat. The problems they had were not about offense after like i think people misunderstood. I didn't think you traded up to get them right like and they're talking about trading up to number three picking the draft was like that was crazy but i never know how to project a guy who's really solid in college right like i just don't know how to project of project. You're crazy athletic. Okay and you will bring in these other areas. But i don't know how to till we're the solid guy is get better. You're watching him. You evaluated him as solid because his numbers weren't solid but he's kind guy everybody who do you compare him to tom brady why 'cause they both don't move. You understand what i mean. He didn't do nothing special. Even the guys don't move who have enormous arms. You're like man. I could see how that works is really hard to project. Somebody's ability to make the best of a situation. Which i think that's what he does. That's really good is he. With exception of the first play he is going to make the best possible outcome in this situation. That's what's going to happen. And it's not going to be because of his arm or legs or anything like that. He got to be bred heart man. He got hit you with the execution like that. That's what this is going to be what day somebody is mag jones. Go come out there with demo. Cheap sunglasses have his hair down to his shoulders and he wears a pink. And it's going to be execution by the way if you did not know this before we go bret hart all the way down with dubrow. And i don't just mean black lives matter really. I didn't know that look it up. You'll be surprised. I don't know what part of canada he fromm but Apparently from the south side south side or whatever little update. Yeah you go you go look it up. I had no idea to bret hart guy down like that. He was probably trying to get into the nation of domination and we had no idea who manages. Surprise me every week. Hardwood they go. Come up to the rock and be like a manatee which you out here doin. But you got to be stronger for the peop- yeah. I know you want everybody to like you. "Hater coming up on this episode of the right time. We're going all the lamar jackson. Not all the way weird. But i'm not sure my man's getting the best advice talk about that and more but first all right man league one in action. I feel like. I forgot to mention something that happened. Last week happened to me. I'm sure i'm not. The only person has happened to. But like i play fantasy. Football gave you play fantasy football. I used to. I don't play anymore. Not get tired of losing man. Soon have the most bac team have a great regular season and this shokhin the postseason that keeps having to be too like i feel like i have a tendency of building some juggernauts sorts and then i don't know what happens. Man we get to the end. I got a higher better training staff. You know what i'm saying mccaskey's just wind up does not being in the right place for whatever reason and we just can't get this whole thing done but i keep playing. I play with a bunch of guys that i've been playing with now for like fifteen years. I guess we go back that far and yeah it is. I don't know. I don't wanna play in a bunch lease because as you might imagine everybody mama as the jumping they league and i'm like not plan you leagues you. Don't want me to play and you'll league. You want to beat you to beat. Beat me in nearly right. Nobody wants to tell their friends about how bomani came in one. Their league node has now. they're going for. They wanna talk about how they be bomani and they won't tell noise about it and so i need to people. I can tell some nose back to accept the guys i play with actually. Don't talk any noise so i just wanted to be. I'm the asshole. You know what i'm saying like i do that becoming in there. I think i've told you the name of my fantasy team. Is johnny law. We allow to violence with impunity. There is no consequence when we do so so we do johnny law aka the law. You know what i'm saying. But i dropped the ball this year. The draft is on labor day every year. And i don't know how our why wound up habit. I knew al before the draft was coming but instead like no calendar alert or nothing. I might have fallen asleep on the couch. I don't know what happened. But i missed the draft and you know how it goes when you missed draft a computer just wind up giving you any old motley crue characters sef this year doll. The law aimed to the no reforms out here is like summer. Twenty twenty never happened photo law. They gave me dak prescott at mark cooper. You know what i'm saying. So i came off to rip signal poise. Just sit poise. Let me go look this up to see who else play for the law. Because was against. I did not actually drive my own team. At the checkout remind is like the law guaranteed. We'll wind up top scorer team in the league. This week nature. That was one of my keepers. We kept him around got. That do brandin cooks coming in off the bench. You know what. I'm saying Aaron jones i gotta say he let me down. I feel like if you're a pakistan. You feel the same way. Same way about air. Rogers and i realized something about the pack. Which is they just ain't got the kind of team culture that the law has you know what i mean like air jones came out here. He wasn't ready to play but it didn't matter because everybody else had already come here and pick up the slack. You know aaron. Johns come in and they manage bad game. Don't worry about that. The law guy show back right. You got to believe that. Nobody's laws ula hose you down. And that's what the law the law held him down. That's what we do and the packers they didn't have that they didn't have anybody to keep them all on the up and up. It's been a tough off season. Aaron rodgers all this stuff. Yeah he would've ponytail. By the way i don't really know what time and it's like a pony nerve right now so it's like it's not even like his hair is long just got by getting in touch with his chico. California routes i suppose but anyway yeah the packers the packers gotta get somebody's teen spirit that we got over here with the law. Maybe i need to send them some of my team leaders just to put them up on game. I don't wanna get like actually put these guys on the team but just to let them know like look what aaron jones over here he feels more comfortable. He feels more secure if it was like. He ain't gotta get everything done. You know what i'm saying but up there all the pressure is just a little bit too much for him. But i don't know if anything feels better than like accidentally getting a really good faceting very few things really. You've set up to feel disappointed yes. Co like all right. This is a season. I have to write off at this point and then to let into lake a really solid team i mean. That's a major come up. I agreement and i enjoy fantasy football. But i'm not like really invested in fantasy football. There's always so much waiver wire combing. I'm willing to do all of that stuff and one thing. I'm not doing other people do this but this is just. I don't understand how people do this. Which is playing like sixteen team leagues. You know what i'm talking about. People play those big old giant leagues. And i'm sorry they just. Aren't that many good players in the nfl their art. Like i'm playing in a twelve team league right. Now that i feel like started as eighteen league which is what i prefer because everybody can feel good. Everybody put up numbers in eighteen and a twelve team league. It's a little trickier. But i guess it requires a little skill in a sixteen team league. What the hell are we doing here. Getting dues you ain't never heard of before you've ever heard of them just hoping to get five points out of somebody. Oh man i clean at game with that. Is that what we wanna do. So got their hope. You guys got your sunday ticket. If your sunday ticket person correct because we all do the same thing every year. Which is sunday morning we were like. Oh yeah we got the sunday ticket and then we don't check it until like twelve thirty and the next thing you know you're sunday ticket is not working and then you call and get a whole with direct tv and you are whole all afternoon. I got lucky this year. My whole situation was working off. The top normally doesn't happen. That way didn't really have any of that change. But i tried to get onto tweets and let you guys know it again in.

"He's probably the number one overall. Pick to such a terrible draft. It was so cheap because the chiefs at the time. Primo home for so snake. Bit tab that be the year you have the number one pitt. yes win. Like twenty fourteen is was at twenty fourteen. That's an all time draft. No twenty eleven twenty eleven the all time draft twenty twelve. Is that lava. Yeah a lock in all those guys twenty fourteen. I'm sure i don't remember was twenty. Fourteen cloudy yes. That's gang you could get mad. They were there was still a next not like an overwhelming draft but two thousand thirteen remember was the big discussion was like. Is it going to be eric. Fisher or luke joel and i'm like you gotta be in giving me man dude. I remember like when they said they were doing. Take eric fisher fell like a year when the cast took anthony bennett like i've never been surprised by the first overall people for the first time ever i've been like. Wow that's what they did in all your life. How many times you've ever said that above the number one overall pick. It's not how it works absolutely and and she'll but it is a testament and that's why you were saying he would have still gone number one. He's with team burr decade and played. Well like we was fine but just when you look at his guy number one biggest drafts you you know you think you're gonna superstar. Yeah man now. This is going to be i guess. Most of the guys in the league have gotten vaccinated because most of them honestly couldn't afford to not vaccinated right. You could be sure that you were going to have a job without the vaccine. Yeah i don't know how much you want to go down this road so you can steer us wherever you want. Obviously did you see jerry. Jones's comments basically about todd Not the i. Yeah do these folks not realize that if you are still pounding the how dare you imply one has. Some type of social response will get the vaccine. You are seeding the moral high ground jerry jones. I'm really think. I'm approaching a point where i am less irritated by the folks who are like you. Now they're injecting nanno robots and you'll be dead in six months. I think i'm less annoyed with those people than the exit. But a and how dare you ask me. And that's a personal choice. Where these folks on the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine that we all are injected with babies now. Where are these the camping. I've always afforded kim. I've always rooted for cam. Camps career is hanging by threat and the fact that he wouldn't take the proactive stack. When last year. You could argue. What derail the season he got. Cove it right. I think real this season. My older daughter bomani dior this morning this morning. High school volleyball practice started. Guess what not allowed to play if you don't have the vaccine okay. So it's not that big of an imposition. Burn up out players. Hoping i'm losing my patient with it. The i being you mentioned is i'm sorry Operating in a moment you and i were both exceptionally cautious. Priebe xc exceptionally. You're one of my best friends in the world. Ulan twenty blocks for me. I saw you in person once and it was because you were dropping off a birthday present for my daughter and the income in the house i am. I didn't let my guard down a little bit. And now i'm starting to raise the caution meter again because it feels like we're getting less and less safe because of the delta variant and it just so weird to it's just so you're retaining so cam is interesting because i think an easy counterargument made with a lot of people with the vaccine is. Oh you'll take all these painkillers but you're going to take the vaccine. Except he's one of the people to be like. Nah actually. i wouldn't ease a bit of an absolutist about what goes his body. I don't think now is the time to be playing game. I don't think now's the time to see. If he's one of those people where i look at it and i'm like i see how you got here even though i think that like what you're doing is probably utterly ridiculous like i've seen people put out some data to try to indicate that if you've had it already than the antibiotic resistance that you develop is then as strong vaccine oil. We doubled his up. You know what i'm saying. We can't we can't do both trying to do both myself. Well listen with. Nobody is put out there. Is that if you've had it before the vaccine hurt you and whether or not you think. There's the societal obligation public health and in. There is the fact that he wouldn't be missing these five days. Because there's different rules you can say the nfl's rule suck those are the rules. And i don't think is gonna lose week one starting job to mack jones but it's in play. It's absolutely in play mac. Jobs lights up at these practices that he closes the gap. And then. who's what makes anybody think that any of these guys that are dealing with. Not that they caught it but that they are in a protocol because of the stringent requirements for non vaccinate players. That it's not going to happen again. You know it's not gonna repeatedly potentially be an issue like go beazley's in the protocol right now and he wouldn't be if he were vaccinated is just frustrating. Yo call beasley. It'll be so funny if he just keeps winding up in protocol but not catching. It is can't imagine how annoyed especially because you saw beasley beasley was around of vaccinated guy. Who tested powell year. Easily unvaccinated test negative at least as this recording and he's still in the protocol. Can you imagine what he is posting under pseudonyms right now magic. He's furious like i just can't imagine how know he is by the whole thing. He go come back at the day five because one thing that i find interesting about him in the way he handles this is he'll never seemed to say nothing on camera he does. Does it all on the tweets. So we can't that's white become the mascot of all it is like we don't wind up with a but i think he'll be mad enough to say something this time all. I think that's right. I think it's interesting. Kevin wild ready. The tv show with made this point. I thought it was a good one that he was far. More disturbed when de'andre hopkins said what he said then with beasley and i asked ryan was like because i don't think colby's lose a serious person. De'andre hopkins eads. He's like i've heard deandre Talk about a lot of things. He's an intelligent guy. Seems to do some really important things that he was like beasley. He looked at as okay. Beazley's just a joke essentially so i don't care what he says with new. It was obvious is more disappointing. So y- i mean this is what like right now. Beasley is most known. Like i know. He called himself the best slot. Receiver in the nfl. No you're not. But yeah i think you're right. You'll do something in front of a camera at some point. There's no doubt about this. Isn't editing football season a little bit about what's going on with the saints amen. It ain't very often that we get like a real quarterback competition right one where we go in and kind of like. I don't know how this is going to go. And then it went a little while we realized. Actually this isn't a real quarterback competition. There's a mac and a taste mil correct gino. Yesterday tasting meal turned thirty one years old. Yes thirty one guys. And here's the other thing. He's good at the other stuff yes like. He's a useful player on your team as long as he's not playing quarterback and to me what should have been the signal for. Everyone is about sean. Payton zego was when they put out there that he had signed a four year. One hundred forty million dollar deal when it was a zero years zero million dollar deal. They were just trying to spread out his cabinet for this year. So they could have called that a four year x million. It wouldn't matter. The big called at one hundred forty to make it briefly appear like signed him to a starting quarterback contract trick dumb people. It's all about payton's ego endless jumpings obviously a very good play. Caller angle good head coach.

"Just are a to now we we no matter who the artist was and there were a lot of artists that you know hadn't even made it yet but you know if we liked the song and you know they were willing to pay pay the money you know we were. We would do it and we would give our best. And the the the thing that a lot of people don't know is that for the another reason why so many people liked us is because we created a lotta those backgrounds They knew that if they gave us the song we will create the background parts. Yes i mean arrangement some some on some for a lot. Now some did come with you know specific backgrounds but my reputation became such that. They'd be like okay. Well the hey. Here's the song. What are you guys. Think drop shirley not Norman connors Lou rawls Well then that we they let us do just you know. Control the background god. It's so many people just songs with artists. That will i you no matter what song i'm doing. Let the jones coming here and and do and do. I think now brinda was alive. 'cause memory is so much better than my she she. She can remember every single artist background on everything. Yeah but but me. It gets a little fuzzy sometimes because when people post stuff now and i'll be like oh yeah. I remember that we did do that. Song you know so With with signing two Philly international. I'll say that Probably in my opinion because you know we my dad purchased all the records played at the house all the time. I will say that you guys were probably given a more contemporary up-to-date town than and a lot of the acts that weren't philly international beckmann like it was almost a thing where you instantly within the first two seconds that you were listening to affiliated national song fit based on like the trademark of the strings in all the mixing of the record or whatever. But like you're gonna make me love. Somebody else sounded nothing. Like what philadelphia. Especially what was happening in. Nineteen seventy nine anything really. I like a woman telling you. Better get your shit. Together right exotic. Yeah so I mean i. I would assume met still the same group of people like it's still dexter wants l. and gamble and huff in all those. I know mckinley jackson also worked on the record as well but like what was the discussion. Basically on how to present you guys in your sound data one of the things that i think gamble and huff they were purposely trying to take us away just a little bit for from the strings and horns like say like of what they did with three degrees and wanted. They wanted us to be more funky more soulful more earn. Be and if you noticed deaf. Very first jones girls album. That's exactly. I mean i'm at your mercy's on there which is a heart wrenching mallet. Then of course there's you gonna make me love somebody else today. There's yeah exactly so run to. Who can i run to yup..

I'm your host. Jonathan jones and as i shared with you are just a little bit earlier today. I want to focus on. How can we really help. Our student athletes truly succeed beyond their degree. Right and the reason. I say that is because when it comes to getting positioned and it comes to being in place to really thrive for name image and likeness l. instagram. Hello youtube. I think this is a conversation that has been. There's been a lot of speculation leading up to a write a lot of speculation. A lot of what is a lot of. We could do this. We could do that. So i just want to bring clarity to the situation and i wanna make sure that we're all in the same page Before we even really dive in so understanding that it's been. I'm not sure how many years up until the point into this day to wear student. Athletes have been constantly showing up putting an hour's practice putting in ours for games in time after time after time Student at these and primarily. This has been around. Division one sports but primarily after their time has done with that institution. They look back in. They say well wait a minute. They charge for tickets to get into the games they charge people for jerseys they charge for concession stands They sell tv contracts but then the question. The question begins to be will. How much of this. Money is actually pocketed for the student athlete. How much of that money are they getting in exchange for the work that they've put in. How much are they having to show for after their time is up competing at this particular institution are at that particular institution so with these things being understood. I wanna break down today just house student..

"So now people are giving you money before you even created the product. Then you take that money and they get the t shirts printed and then you sell them and now you have the benefits because now you have more people out there moving but at the end of the day the bumpers is where you're at right now because if you fail a test you didn't ultimately fell out of college. You fail the test. Now you can go to the tutoring center and then go get help in that subject because you have bumpers. If you don't have a resume right now you can go to a mock interview on campus a lot of student. Abby development centers are departments. Offer the mock interviews so you do a mock interview. Somebody says Randy you didn't have this. You didn't have experiences. you didn't have skills attributes. They tell you all these things you go back home. You're not upset you're not angry. You go back home. You began to add those things into the resume and then for the next career fair then for the next resume building workshop. Then you decide to hit up somebody like a like a gen fry who does resume audits right so understanding. You have access to these things because you're on a college campus. So i want to review the points today in then. If you all enjoy this i would love. Love love to hear from you. So i would love. You shot me. Dm at jonathan jones speech shoot. Dm let me know what your thoughts were on this stream. Let me know if something connected with you or even if you're like john i really enjoy the way you laid this out. Do another podcast episode. Like this okay. So we're going to do to review of the points seven points. I hit on the day and if you just happen in catch the replay. It's on youtube on my channel. John jones speaks but here we go so number one. I said we have to focus on being thankful because when we focus on being thankful each and every opportunity is a blessed opportunity. So let's practice that because being thankful with shift your mindset because you can't beat thankful and you can't be teed off at the same time because they're to altering perspectives so that was number one number two was be positive. I told you. I spent far too much of my life up until this point being negative complaining being upset that will ruin a day that will ruin relationships that will scare people away but when we focus on being positive now we're ultimately determining where i live will go because we realized that we have control and we can demand where we take it. That was number two number. Three is be respectful right. Show up greet somebody. Hi how you doing sir. Hi how you doing ma'am firm handshake. Look them in the eye green by name. Ask them how they prefer to be addressed right. I i i know that with some Some colleagues i've.
