"Bell, where running backs actually started getting paid somewhat commensurate with their market value or something closer to the market value. We have another rash of star running backs in the NFL right now. Rashad, how are we going to make life work contractually for the running back? Because that is something like, I feel like this is a cause I want to take on and champion for the rest of my days in the media. Well, I mean, if you want to take a business approach at it, all the running basket and collectively just take strikes. You know, but I mean, honestly, that's what you can do, but then the issue is then you're going to open up room for another player to potentially take your position. You have debo Samuels, right? Yeah, right? Running the ball down tight ends are running ball you got heel down there with New Orleans sanks. He's just doing everything. But punting, he probably can punt. Yeah, honestly. Yeah. He seriously popping up everywhere, but the position, I will tell you this, my argument is still remains in the last ten super bowls. You know, I think 9 out of ten, all whoever led on the rushing yardage. One, and there's still you can not get rid of how important a position is. So do they need to be paid? Yeah, just like any other player, but I do get that it's becoming a pass more heavy game and the traditional running backs is very few of them left. I mean, you got in re still out there being a threat. Like the old school tradition running back downhill. And it's not helping. It's not helping a lot of people's cases because he's getting off to a slow start. But however, I'm here, man. I think the running back should get paid. 'cause you came in without the ground attack and every single, every single locker room I've ever been in. I bet on 8 different teams, regardless of it the same organization tonight. You're still on different teams 'cause you got brand new faces. Every team I've ever been on says at the very beginning. We need to establish the run game and stop the run. I've never in my life been in the locker room with. Hey, we need to figure out how to stop the pass. Never. That is not a defensive coordinator's MO. So if you got a guy that can run the ball, Jonathan Taylor, you think they ain't win the games because of that guy. You're insane, you don't understand football. So I think I think Jonathan Taylor will be one of the run ambassador pop back open that conversation.

"I do not get a vote on the NFL MVP, obviously, right? I'm just a small little podcast host. But if I were voting, I would vote for colts running back Jonathan Taylor. This dude is awesome. And this is to me, this is exactly why he deserves the MVP. The colts are 9 to zero when Jonathan Taylor runs for over 100 yards. And they are zero and 6 when he does not. I mean, how else is there any other definition of valuable? When John and the Taylor is great, they win. When he's not, they lose, and to me, that's most valuable. By the way, a quarterback is won the NFL MVP award 8 years in a row. The last time we're running back one was in 2012 and Adrian Peterson won the favorite this year to win is Aaron Rodgers. It would be his fourth NFL MVP award. His second back to back, which, I mean, if Aaron does win the MVP, that's very cool. To say, hey, Aaron didn't win as many super bowls as Tom Brady, but he was a better quarterback, like more talented, he won more MVPs. He won four of them, maybe 5, we don't know what the future looks like. He won back to back at one point. I am totally fine with that narrative. Hey, Aaron's amazing. Let's praise Aaron. But just to me, if you keep giving it to quarterbacks, can we at least acknowledge it's not really, it's a quarterback award. The MVP goes to a quarterback unless something crazy happens. I would argue that crazy is Jonathan Taylor, but to me, I would give Jonathan Taylor, the NFL MVP award. I don't think I'm gonna give out. I didn't give out an NFL MVP last year either. Last year, I gave out an offensive player of the year in a defensive player of the year. I think it even better might just be to say best quarterback. And then the game is Friday night at 7 and about 5 o'clock. My phone starts blowing up from like text from parents. Do you believe this? What the hell? What kind of shit are they trying to pull? So it turns out the team we beat and rather handily last week. Informs our coach, Friday morning that they had positive COVID tests on their team and kids played with COVID the week before. And he's like, I don't know what you want to do about it, but you have guys that played with kids that were affected from our team. And our coach is like, I didn't know what to do. He was like, all right, well, give us your names and I'll look at the tape, and we'll see who was close to them, like did they all play in the coach is like, we can't tell you anything. You guys have to deal with it. So now the parents are like, and keep in mind, our whole team tested negative on Wednesday. This is going to get political. But I don't care. But so we all tested negative on Wednesday. And that should be good enough, I think. And the parents are all like, child, let them play. It's outdoors and it's fine. It was a week ago and everyone tested negative on Wednesday. Let them play in the superintendents like, no, no, no. If you weren't vaccinated, which 7 players weren't vaccinated, 5 of them are seniors, you're not playing. And 5 of them started 5 of them seniors. It was like this is outrageous. Now, people are trying to get rapid tests for the unvaccinated seniors and players and superintendents like it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. So our coach is scrambling. And now this is like 20 minutes before the game. They finally let someone comes to their senses and now everybody gets to play. But this is after they switched line ups and everything. So we're unfocused, and we lose 46 43. 46 bucket and 43. And you have to think like, maybe things would have been different if the last two hours before the game weren't spent trying to watch film to see who was next to who we don't even know who's vaccinated. But this is a crazy thing. This team might have been bad blood and they might have just made this up. We could make this up with the team that beat us. Next week and call their coach next Friday. And then they're going to have to deal with that. What the hell is going on in this world? Why would they wait until Friday? They found out a week later. Was there even? Is it even serious? Maybe they made the whole thing up. Because they don't have to give out names. So they might have made the whole thing up. Just be a ringer narrative podcast? It really may have to be. So his younger son Keegan, who is on that team who's a 9th grader who was like, you know, he 9th graders barely played, but he's playing a little bit. Wide receiver kick returner. So now he's on this situate team and he's one of the best players as a captain. So they're playing to go to the state title again on the he's the guy now. They're playing grafton in the semis on Saturday, grafton comes back ties at 1414 fourth quarter. Keegan bricks is 66 yarder for the eventual game winning touchdown. Now they're going to for the div four title and they change the brackets around. So they're playing duxbury. Which is their situate duxbury. Those are right next to each other. That's the big rivals of each other. And in the same league. But now they're actually playing for the state title in Gillette. Because they offer the state things in Gillette. Most hated rival. But it's always last last dance and his wife enjoyed the game so much. I think she had, I think 5 red ball shots. What's the one thing what are the things you drink? Multiple fireball sash. So we call them after the game and she's screaming in the background. It's like really literally coming to an end. But yeah, the Sully family. That's great. Unbelievable. Now duxbury, the last frontier they could do to stay titles. Anyway, that's fun. That no COVID mysterious. No, no, dumb. No dumb stuff. High school football gotta love it. Gotta love having it back. So this is the game when you're going to see all week, they're going to report ratings on Casey Dallas. As bad a game as it is, they're going to say it's up 22%. They don't put anything else against it, which means there's 47 early games. And that's what happened. We were stuck with that horseshit all morning. All right, the watchable. So I got three. First one, you mentioned buck's colts. This is in Indy. We'll see some Manning Brady highlights from colts pats yesterday. Probably in the pre game. I had the buck's favorite though. I have bucks by two and a half. I had this exactly. It's three. Opening it at three. I think that's fair, although they're coming off a short week and then going to Indy. I don't know. I like India on the road. I'm just have we had them today, like plus 7 plus four plus 6 on the road. I don't like when they're getting a short number and home and expected to keep it close. There will be a passenger ference and one will be overthrown, but you bet it's will just keep doing it. He was incredible. Did you see a 13 and a half minute drive to start the game? 15 and a half. It's almost impossible, and they kick the field goal from the one. I was like, I was like, I can't wait to get on and kill Shanahan with Simmons and then didn't matter. They beat him up. But the announcement was like, oh no, you got to get points at him. "Having a bigger impact on his team's victories than Taylor. Come with you. I do feel like from a narrative standpoint, it will start this week on the worldwide leader on all the shows to have. People have their hands up. I'm gonna tell you right now, Jonathan Taylor has been the MVP of the National Football League through 11 weeks. This guy has done everything for a team that doesn't have a lot of weapons, and it's just the hands of me going all week. They could also not make the playoffs. They want to 40 teams or 6 and four, whatever the hell they are right now. I mean, Eric Henry, 2027 yards and 17 touchdowns last year. It's really just for the westerners in case you didn't look at the standings. After you get through Tennessee Baltimore, New England KC, you have the Chargers buffalo and cincy at 6 and four. Yeah. You have Pittsburgh at 5 four and one. And then you have the colts are 6 and 5? 6 and 5. Our 6 and 5, right? Yeah. Yeah, colts at 6 and 5. And then Vegas Denver and Cleveland all have 5 and 5. Well, here's the thing. And I told you last week the AFC north plays the AFC west. So we saw Cincinnati and the Raiders at one point that was going to be a good game. It wasn't. But there's going to be a playoff game every week with those two divisions going at it. Now it may be that Denver drops out and the Raiders drop out and I don't know who would drop out of the AFC north, I guess nobody. Maybe there are some sluggish teams down the stretch. I suspect the Raiders will play tough against the cowboys just to ruin my Thanksgiving. But that is tough. That stuff every week for the next 6 weeks. Those two divisions battle each other and themselves. So Indy has Tampa, home. Then at Houston, New England home, at Arizona, Vegas at Jacksonville. I think it's going to be tough for them to get to ten and 7 with that schedule. But it's doable, but you'd basically have to go. I guess you'd have to win at least one against Tampa New England and zona. And then you'd have to clean out the other three. Well, the one 11 and 6 is they proved today that there's no home game that's impossible to win. No road game that's impossible to win. They went to buffalo and won that. So what we how many home teams, what 8 road teams one day? I know. I guess that's the Chargers. You should. All right, one last do you suddenly believe in? Do you believe in Arizona's well roundedness has been the best NFC team? I don't know. I don't know. I'm gonna stick to my guns with the packers there. All right, that ten to one. Even though even though you got the floor? Yeah, but the packers beat Arizona with Kyle Murray may have knocked him out for the year for all we know on that Thursday night game. But I'm kind of with everybody else where I'm not giving Arizona the credit that they deserve. I'll probably lose tens of thousands of dollars sticking with that narrative. I'm still in on Tampa. And I know they've looked like crap, the last couple of weeks, but mid December, they'll have all the weapons back. They're not going to have to rush people back because they're going to win that division anyway. And I still like their team. To make a case they're going to get to ten and 7. Division champ, I don't think division champion. I think they can make the playoffs. I like this team. That was one of those where I think if they played ten times, I think that colts win like 8 at a time. It really seemed like a bad matchup for the bills. And I've been saying this for a couple of weeks on the pod and people think I'm being a Homer, but I just don't see it with the bills. They haven't played well since week 5. I don't see it. I don't understand why just because it did well last year. That means it translates to this year. You can run right on there. You can run right up their gut. And they have one above average skull guide. Sticks. That's it. Knocks is okay. They have no running game. And Allen hasn't looked anything close to what he looked like last year. And at this point, we have a pretty big sample size that that team's not very good. I think if I just think the colts had their number, not just today, but I think it would be pretty much every time they played. So the paths similar to the colts and that they're going to be able to run the ball, they're going to be able to put pressure Allen. I think they can take out digs. Obviously, you know, you're still in Spain, you're traveling. It's hard to not let these people in. But when they're checking the vax card, they should also check to see who you're rooting for. It's not pretty. It's not for you to look at. If you're a chargers fan, yet, they keep winning. And I don't know, even when the Steelers were down two touchdowns, I'm like, yeah, this team and the Chargers, both could be amongst the best in the AFC. There's no clear cut winner, right? At this point? I know. I wrote down a question. How many realistic Super Bowl teams do we have right now? Heading into Thanksgiving week. AFC. And then you have Philly, buffalo, Minnesota, Indy, and I think even the Chargers as babies with 14 possible Super Bowl teams that I swear to God even if you told me Philly was going to be in the Super Bowl. I wouldn't like, I wouldn't like poo poo it. There's no way there's no good teams. What do we do? It just, and this is week 11, right? So when we're done with tomorrow's game, it'll be week 11. And 11 weeks. And so that's really the halfway point of the season because there's 21 total weeks. However you want to look at it. I don't think we've learned a damn thing. We know which teams aren't making it. There's four or 5 or 6 or 17s that are just junk and not gonna make it, but we'll still screw moneyline parlays as the case with the Texans. But like I said, those AFC and maybe I crapped on it too early because then the chiefs beat up on my cowboys. They did a number on it, but yeah, you say maybe is I think all those teams can win the Super Bowl because no one's a cut above the other. And either conference. Yeah, this was the case that I kept making for the past a couple weeks ago. So it was like, who am I scared of? And the AFC, and then it seems like everybody has come toward them at the same time they're going up. NFC, it's like nobody wants it. You have Arizona who's shown the most hard of anybody and they're winning games with colt McCoy instead of Kyler Murray, but if anything, they've probably shown the most resolve resilience, kind of well rounded game. They can win in a whole bunch of different ways. Your team, I can't tell if this was just a peaked first 7 weeks of the season, the schedule was a little easy situation, or now you're having bad luck. And you lost CD during the game and of all weeks to lose and now you have this Thanksgiving Thursday concussion. I'm assuming he's not going to play. Cooper's hurt. You're offensive lines of mess. The defense, which only gave up 19 of the chiefs has been fine. But the McCarthy situation you could really feel it today. How many people did you have 200? It was really bad. "I running backs schedule running backs derrick henry. It's actually pretty terrible for the next. three weeks. colts ravens colts. They are top for against fantasy running backs. Then it is unbelievable. And this is the time of year. We're derrick henry gets going anyway His last three his fantasy playoffs are jacksonville. Detroit and green bay. So i i'm recommending. My dalvin cook sell high. And we're going to wait until this primetime game against the colts and hope derrick henry struggles a little bit. And then we're going to sell dalvin cook for derrick henry and very good wide receiver. Okay i because he's going to destroy jacksonville detroit and green bay and the fantasy playoffs. Jonathan taylor is. I have a tough time. Buy into this. But has four matchups against teams. That are twenty nine. Th or worse against running backs this week against tennessee. I don't think it's that great of a match up. They've been really good. The last five games against running backs these per carry giving up some points. But they're giving up touchdown they are giving up touchdown touchdown every game tennessee this year. But you know he's got houston he's got vegas. He's got houston again in week. Sixteen might be tough against pittsburgh but the match ups are great. Does it matter. I don't know what jonathan taylor. We'll see what his role is he's got to just he's got to start playing freely and i think that's what the colts are waiting for. That's weeks fourteen. Thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen. Those are four really good run defenses. And that's kenyan drake who only runs and doesn't have any involvement in the passing game so the whole point is to trade firm at the lowest possible price and it's because chase edmonds isn't gonna take his job when he comes back at it sir feels like he'll still have that role that rundown role maybe drake as the guy to go target. If you're desperate for a running back in the next three games not so much for the rest of the season you think this week. He might not even play this week. That's the problem is today. It feels like those games that you're referencing in the playoffs. Are more chase edmonds games than kenyan drake games like. Drake could play all four of those games against her. Three of those games against a good wendy fences and for edmonds might just be better. I think it's four good run. Event is the rams giants eagles niners and the giants thing. They're just about like fourteenth about as close to average as you can be but that's because they're really bad against pass catching running backs. They're not fourteenth in run. Vincent fourteenth and fantasy points allowed to running backs so that does feel more like a chase edmonds game like you. Just look at antonio gives they give us some touchdowns. Mckissic was a lot better than gibson. Even though gives another touchdown i dunno. I dunno school. Fantasy points because of the touchdown. But that's my point like these are good run defenses. So for a guy who's not involved in the passing game at all too scary schedule. I think down the stretch for kenyan drake.
