Founder Steve Maxwell Tells Us About CCDF-USA
"Joining us now is Steve Maxwell founder of CCD F USA and Jonathan houlihan, director of legal operations for CCD F USA in Texas, Steven Jonathan, welcome Steve. Why don't you take an opportunity to introduce the organization and what you guys are able to do and the points on the board you're putting up. Very good. Thank you, Charlie. Thank you for having us on today. Yeah. Organization was founded in April of 2021. And the main mission at the national level is to engage the citizens in critical counties in the country and empower them with the tools that they need to go after this apparatus. It's really trying to take our country down. So at the local level, they're focused on elections, anything to do with elections, education. We have a faith division. And also just follow the money. And then at the national level, we have a legal team of media team. We have information services where we can really do a lot of analytics analysis to follow with its money's going. And then we have an administration team that helps them with all the administration side of their local county operation. And since we've started Charlie, it's been we can only give God credit for the results we've had so far. We're just really getting going and we're really excited about what we're talking to you about today.
Rep. Andy Biggs Wants a Fiscal Path of Sustainability
"Likely is it to get to some of the meteor topics? Because I agree, and I know you do, you want to get to the real meat of it. But the woke stuff obviously, I think, is important for a variety of reasons, but the real meat is in sending the money to Ukraine. It's the massive amount of waste in the civil bureaucracies, like the 87,000 IRS agents, and so what is the plan or the strategy to be able to kind of go through this? I mean, I think we should entertain a government shutdown. I think it's that important, but I don't know if the shutdown actually is part of this, right? This is a separate issue because this is about just the full faith and credit of the United States. Is that correct? Yeah, this doesn't really ultimately lend itself to a budget government shutdown. What it does is it provides leverage in Charlie, I'm a big believer that legislating involves leverage. This is a leverage point for us to reduce spending. So you're right. Last year, most people don't realize this, we spent a $125 billion to Ukraine. Charlie, a $125 billion to Ukraine in an undeclared war that we're not supposed to be fighting in and it's supposed to be and it's become a proxy war. Those are the type of things that are just outrageous. And there's so much of it there. My staff last year we put together a big list. Just a Department of Homeland Security alone. And this is where you need to go as to start. It's the easy. That's what I call, it's the low hanging fruit. But Charlie, we fight within our own party. I once had a bill to eliminate a 15, $20 million program that was everybody admitted was duplicated in two other agencies. And I couldn't even get it out of committee. I only had like four or 5 Republicans vote for it in committee. That's where we're up against Charlie, and that's why this is an important leverage point. If we're ever going to get back on a fiscal path of sustainability. So
The Debt Ceiling Showdown With Congressman Andy Biggs
"There is a critical fight that is looming in Congress. In fact, it's happening right now. I'm going to read from Politico dot com. Senate Republicans tell the house the debt ceiling fight is on you, basically the Senate Republicans are doing what they do best, which is to run to the hills and do absolutely nothing. So this is on the new House of Representatives to fight to hold the line and hopefully use the debt ceiling fight as a way to get an effectuate some meaningful change. Joining us now from the great state of Arizona is Andy Biggs, Andy, welcome back to the program. Hey, Charlie, good to be with you. So Andy, walk us through what is exactly going on with the debt ceiling fight, the Senate wants nothing to do with it, but we have the majority and more specifically the house freedom caucus has really more power than ever before. So what's the strategy what's the game plan of this critical fight? Okay, so for people who don't understand this, the debt ceiling hit last week and that's an estimation that we're going to run out of money. Now the way that happens is that came on the 19th and then from the 19th for about until July or August, we have enough money, but we have enough we're going to take some special measures to get us through that. But before then, we're going to have to raise the debt ceiling, so we don't default on our loans. So that that's what it boils down to. The problem is the Democrats and some of my own Republican friends have spent this into oblivion to get there and they believe in something called the modern monetary theory, Charlie, which means that you could just keep printing money and it won't have any effects. In other words, you can just keep borrowing money. So what we need to do is to counterbalance that you're going to have to have a short term increase in your debt in order to pay off all of your loans and other your obligations. But you're going to have to reduce your spending and the way you reduce your spending as you go through, first of all, and you find anything, just like you would in a normal budget. I did it last week. I didn't realize I had so many Amazon channels. Amazon Prime channels, Charlie. And so I went through and I just started whacking them because it's crazy. You have to do the same thing at a bigger level.
Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee Introduces Anti-White Supremacy Bill
"I get into today's episode, I have to talk about Sheila Jackson Lee. Sheila Jackson Lee is a congresswoman from Texas. I served with her. Sheila Jackson only has an amendment for everything an idea for everything and never failed to meet a mic in a speech that she didn't want to give. She gives more one minute. She gives more basically extension of remarks than almost any other member. But she's now come up with something that should be very concerning and it is a bill that comes up. It's called leading against Watson supremacy act of 2023. Now, it would not make it just a federal crime to commit a crime that was inspired by what supremacy. In other words, sort of take off with a hate crime legislation. I asked her enhancements. But it would also make it to a crime to post something on social media that promotes white supremacy views if someone else sees it and then commits a crime. This is a starting to draw the attention to everybody from Jonathan turley and everybody else on down. But listen to that. If you post something, they go out and do something and it somehow you're viewed as wide supremacy. Again, just an overt attack on the First Amendment. Again, Sheila Jackson Lee's, I think, knows better than this. I think this is a statement bill that she wants to people to talk about or draw attention to. But at the end of the day, folks, we've got to quit playing fast and loose with the constitution. Play it fast and lose the constitution is not a good idea. And when it comes to the issues of speech, remember, I've said it here in this podcast for I'll say it again. The First Amendment exists for speech that you do not like. It protects the speech that actually makes you upset. It is that kind of speech that is really protected as political space. And by the way, it's a government actor here. She's putting the government right in the middle of this. And again, unconstitutional is all comes. But just something to point out.

Poole scores career-high 43, Warriors win 1st without Curry
"What a night for Jordan Poole, the warriors guard had a career high 43 points to lead Golden State to a one 26 one ten thrashing of the raptors at Scotiabank arena. Poole, when 14 of 23 from the field and hit 5 threes and has now averaging almost 31 points per game without Steph Curry in the lineup this season. Just trying to get easy baskets. Tyler Bowyer and Charlie Dissect What Happened on 11/08
"Through this real quick. We had one of the most heated elections ever for governor in Arizona. The Democrats view this as a purple state, Harry Lake is the best candidate that's probably ever run in the state of Arizona and probably the southwest probably the west, probably less than Mississippi, but maybe ever. And certainly this century in America for governor. And we're expected to believe that turnout was less than for Kirsten. Doug ducey and his no name opposition came in while the population has grown considerably since 2008. Well, the population has grown considerably. And so then that begs the question, which is like Jonathan's asking here, which is like, okay, so you're telling me that all these people, all these registration, all these people showed up in 2020, and all of a sudden, just like vaporized. You know, on both sides. So what is the explanation in that they went to a polling place and they were deterred by the lines? Well, I mean, I think the Democrats weren't sure that this was all going to work, but they knew if they had a chance. This is what they had to do to make it work, right? This is like the people, the only way that they could feasibly win Arizona is voter suppression at the end of the day. And that's exactly what happened on 11 8. Is voter suppression. And also just hoping that our team would be lazy. And unfortunately, in some of the rural counties in Arizona, we didn't have as high a turnout. Yeah, so 210,000 non Maricopa Trump voters did not vote.
28 Days Later: Maricopa Edition With Jonathan Cagle
"Is it fair to say that Maricopa County intentionally did not have the infrastructure? To be able to facilitate what Carrie Lake needed on election day. It would be 100% accurate to say that or fair to say because if they anticipate 750 or 800,000, but their max infrastructure can only accommodate 300 and 20,000 or even 350,000, you have a huge deficit that you can accommodate already going in. So I suppose the question is, you know, how do we go about fixing this? Tyler and I talked about it. But before we go into that, I just want to kind of remind our listeners. So Arizona does voting in a very bizarre way. 223 voting centers in Maricopa County. Can you walk us through your math again because Tyler and I, when we did our math, we were anticipating. This is why this is why on the live stream we were so committed to saying Kerry is going to win because we thought on election day, okay, 300 to 330,000 people were going to show up on election day. Ended up being like two 70, right, two 49, two 70, right? Right near there? I have the number right in front of me, but it was below our expectations. So then we said, okay, people just ended up dropping off their ballots, right? People did ballot drop offs, which did not perform very well for us. As well as we wanted them to. They were really harvesting last minute ballots. Yeah, they were clearly illegally harvesting them. And that was just shocking because we said, why is it that these precincts that should be voting for Carrie Lake are not voting for with ballot drop? Because Carrie underperformed Trump 2020. Really hard to believe, right? So therefore, you know, our math wasn't wrong in our projections our predictions, but the only missing widget if you will, Jonathan, is that there were people that had the intent to vote and they ended up not voting. Is that right? Yeah, absolutely. So if you look at their 2022 election plan document where they explain their model, they give a basically a number of total polling sites of 220, they give 25 voting booths per site, and they give the total time it takes for one person to basically cast their vote, which includes a three minute check time and an 11 minute cast of ballot time.
A Mathematically Improbable Shortfall in Election Day Turnout in AZ
"With us as Tyler Boyer, who is one of the one 68 on the RNC from the great state of Arizona and joining us now is Jonathan cagle who has had some very interesting tweets and a data analysis about what happened in Arizona. Jonathan, welcome to the program. Good to be here, Charlie. Okay, so Jonathan, you have your data guy, your financial analyst, and you've gone through some of the data from this last election. What have you found when it pertains to the Arizona election? I would say probably 5 or 6 different shows. I'd imagine, but the mathematics really just don't add up. And in the time environment that we live in, where the language is being sacrificed to conceded every day, it's important to stay in tune to mathematics because massive from one language to the climate changing. And so if we can if you can make the numbers match up or not match up, hard to argue against this. Okay, so give us some examples. What does that mean? So walk us through some of the math that you find to be illuminating for our audience. So basically, what I was looking at is demographics, you know, obviously Democrats are more likely to vote in by mail or early and Republicans are less trusting. So they're more likely to vote in person on election day, minimize the number of chains of capacity that they have to go through. And Maricopa also knew this as well. And so when you're going through into an election that's very polarizing and you're expecting a surge in turnout, it's very good to have a baseline going in in the event that any kind of shenanigans happen. So what I did is I looked at the number of mail in and early ballots they had received, which they wide was 1.4 million and 976,000 of those were for Maricopa County as well. I also knew the population demographics of Maricopa tends to be roughly 62% of Arizona's total state population being one of the largest counties in the country. So what I wanted to know is, okay, compared to 2020, what are they expecting? Well, America puts on documentation, said that they had 395,000 in voters on election day that they accommodated. Using only a 175 in person polling places.
The White-Collar Recession
"Right now, some of Wall Street's loudest voices are sounding the alarm about next year's outlook for the U.S. economy and equity markets. Goldman Sachs, David Solomon, said that the economy faces quote a bumpy road ahead. JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon held a view that the U.S. would see a, quote, mild to hard recession. Morgan Stanley wealth management's Lisa's shallots said corporations are facing a rude awakening on earnings. And the CIO of UBS global wealth management recently wrote, we do not think the economic conditions for a sustained upturn are yet in place. Growth is slowing in central banks are still raising rates. Now, equity investors appear to be taking note. After a two month rally, the S&P 500 has fallen in 8 of the last 7 sessions, including a brutal 1.4% drawdown on Tuesday. Equity strategists who are typically perma bullish are now on average predicting a down year in 2023. BlackRock strategists wrote a recession is foretold. Central banks are on course to over tighten policy as they seek to tame inflation. Equity valuations don't yet reflect the damage ahead in our view. Chart readers are also finding few reasons for hope. Each year, the S&P 500 suffers a 50% drawdown through November, December is typically much weaker according to BTIG Jonathan krinsky. This year's drawdown to date has exceeded 19%, with multiple projections off the 200 day moving average, including the end of the rally last week. Morgan Stanley strategist Michael Wilson, notable for being bearish equities, encouraged his readers to take profits in this week's note. The risk reward for playing for more upside quite poor at this time and now we are sellers again.
Jonathan Gilliam: Did the FedEx Driver Target the 7-Year-Old Girl?
"On Fox News channel, Eric Shawn, interviewed former FBI special agent Jonathan Gilliam, talking about the murder of this little beautiful girl in Boyd, Texas. Listen to this exchange that maybe shed some light on why these acts of evil or at least how it occurs anyway. When they hear the little Athena down the block, you know, suddenly missing, as she comes home from school, is with her stepmother, her stepmother's making dinner and she at some point, perhaps went outside of the front yard, where she had an interaction with this FedEx driver. Do we know, you know, any information about that details on that and why this time went by before the stepmother realized that little girl was gone. I saw one report and I didn't see it again that they had had a little bit of an argument, you know, her in the 7 year old. And so she left out of the house. Now that happens every day all day around the country in the world. And unfortunately, this predator was outside waiting. I would suspect when they look into this. So one of two things probably happened that the FedEx driver drove by and saw her and took a target of opportunity or he was there earlier or around that area before and picked up on this young girl. So there's a possibility that that occurred, I think we've seen that in the past with these types of predators. And interestingly enough, when I was looking at the FedEx page a minute ago about what it takes to become a contractor there, there are some things that they have some hoops they have to jump through. But one of the things that surprised me is that if you have a felony or any other record or you're on probation or have been on parole, they're okay with that as long as it's been a year since those things passed.

Privacy 101 With Jonathan Wu
"Let's start with sort of a privacy kind of one O one. So your perception of first why privacy is important. Second, what's broken about privacy right now? And you can take that in the context of crypto slash DeFi, specifically, or you can kind of talk more broadly. And then three, maybe is sort of what you think the tradeoffs are as we currently kind of live within them. Yeah, for sure. A lot there. I mean, I would first say that a lot of people say things like privacy as a human right. And what that means to me is that privacy is a fundamental building block for our society that works. When you record all the things that you expect to be private in a given day, you'll realize that most of the things that you do are private. And so privacy is a human right means to me, like the right to your own thoughts, the right to your own intellectual property, what is intellectual property, something that you created in your own head. But I would say on blockchain privacy has three primary values in my mind. Number one, privacy as a mode of discretion. It's not very comfortable for everyone just to know what you're doing. And we like to say, if you don't care about privacy, then why don't you let people watch you shower? Well, rationally, there's no really strong reason, right? It's just like, it doesn't feel very comfortable. We know that privacy is really important from a security perspective because if everyone can see what you're doing, they know what you own, they can track your transactions, they confront on you. And then the last thing is privacy is a creative force. Privacy is a mechanism that we use to play a lot of different games. And people don't really like to think of it that way, but let's say you and I have a deck of cards and we wanted to play a game. And one of the requirements was that we had to play only games that were face up. It's a very small universe of games that we can play only with face up cards, right? And the whole deck is face up. That's basically what public blockchains are today. And so the introduction of privacy isn't just obfuscation of transactions for anonymity sake or confidentiality sake. It's also introducing a completely new mechanism for human behavior and coordination.
Once and Future Prime Minister of Israel Shares His Story
"Years ago, my next guest stormed an airplane got shot for his efforts, saved a bunch of passengers for Palestinian terrorists killed, but you probably better know him as the once and future prime minister of Israel, Bibi Netanyahu. Mister prime minister, welcome to the U.S. show. Great to have you on. Good to be with you. I have with your audience as well. I have greatly enjoyed BB my story. Jonathan Karp sent it to me on Friday and I've done nothing but read it and listen to it and I enjoyed the fact that you recorded the end of the book, but not the beginning. So I got through your accent pretty good at the end there. Let's start with the beginning though. And an argument among brothers on a tarmac about who is going to rush into an airplane. I've never read that before. That might be familiar to listeners in Israel, but ain't familiar to Americans. That's kind of an extraordinary story. Well, indeed it was. I could tell you that far from being just an extraordinary story was an extraordinary in many ways an unbelievable moment in my life. And it's one where my brother was pitted against me, we had 16 soldiers from our unit just as mechanics about to fix and fix a hijacked plane. That was a ruse arranged by a point by defense minister dayan to overtake these hijacked claims that landed near Tel Aviv,

Dr. Jonathan Reiner: Dr. Oz Speaking Fast to Fetterman Was 'Cruel'
"It was very obvious that how, give one example, oh, well, doctor Jonathan Reiner, a Professor of medicine and surgery at George Washington University, said, hold my beer, Sonny. I'm a doctor, and I can tell you why Oz was cruel. Get ready for this explanation. I take care of people like mister federman, who have had atrial fibrillation, which is where we think his stroke came from, how it originated. And I admire his courage to go on that debate last night. He had to know that he was facing basically a fast talking TV Doctor Who at times seemed to be talking almost intentionally faster in the face of mister fetterman's difficulty speaking. Sometimes it appeared almost cruelly faster. He had to know that he would get the kind of reception that he got from that. And turn it off. Turn it off, I can't listen anymore of it. Doctor Oz was speaking fast. He was intentionally being cruel, but you can not make this crap up?

"Now. His figures are improving with each start and I think he's going to take some beating. But we like also long shot 8 to 1 to sorrow Number three. Coming off the layoffs in April, and this horse broke his maiden first time out on the Topeka. He has the CPD experience and the wind here. He actually has two wins over the track and was disqualified out of one. And this horse was last seen in the Kaldor be running a decent wide trip, but then taking a layoff, so he's working out really well. I think he can upset Any kind of improvement. Think these three year olds will show in the late summer, so last seen in April with a decent number, and I think that number can improve and put him right there with the late summer so We're number two herd immunity number three to sorrow and the five JT's watch who is actually the morning line favorite. So those three, but I think there's some prices here and we need to go three deep. To keep our pick five alive. Oh, okay. Where did we go? Next? In the early, big fire. The early pick five. We're going to finish off with three for that. $36 Bet we get three horses here. And I think the top call for me. I think it's a two horse race between the one and four. The great Haynes, number one and Liam, Secret number four. I gave them under the Greek hands. Going back to to Peter. She she ran a really nice maiden win here in May. Then she went over to the dirt it pleasant and and ran, Okay, but got the wide trip there. And the kind of trip that the horses can improve off of. But the kind of trip that definitely on that speed favoring tracks. You did not. She did not fare well. She went four ft and only a length of three quarters, but that was that was disadvantaged against her. They took her down to Delmar and ran her starter allowance. 50,000. She got beat by a five length winner and ran poorly. But she comes back up here. It gets on to pita. And I think she's going to run a really good race here. So the great hands Number 1 95 is our top call, followed by number four. Liam's secret at 5 to 2. And for our third horse that we can take in here for $36 Bet we're going to go with the number three grazing dead, coming off a sharp maiden win and probably protect the early front in He'd play in there. So I'd like 143 in that order. All right, so as far early pick five format my task of speed figures dot com So now let's continue this Sunday edition. Golden Gate with going on to race number six. Yeah, Race six. Has it's uh, It's a starter allowance for 4000. So you have to race for 4000. In the last two years to qualify for this race, and we have some sharp horses here. Um, even though they dipped down to that 4000 level, you know they're running well, and the 4003rd allow horses can make it pretty decent living here. Once they establish and get qualified for this, So, um, tough call here. Goes to write radio number four, um over the very sharp and speedy number eight. Anita New Mercedes. And the number two Lolo Pani YOLO, So we're 482. In the sixth rate, and unless nine race car and we move on to race number 77 is wide open. I have two races today, listed as just a grab bag kind of Setting and the seventh is one of those When they have to go. I'm gonna have to go 40 pier on our ticket. We've got some first timers. It's a made in 8000. And no horses are near the par yet, so you have to kind of establish some droppers. Some first timers and kind of try to make something out of this. Um I think the second time starter babes got appeal. Number eight has a lot of a lot of interest here. Jonathan Wang ran her once at Del Mar for 50,000. She was off slow. Set of She actually chased a very good opening quarter there before doing nothing. Kyle Frey was in the saddle. I think she was well meant, and she got well bet there behind a five length winner. They take her up here from the 50,000 down there, Drop her all the way to 8000. But I'm not that alarmed by it. Tommy Town throw red, the main client of Jonathan Long. Um, They're not afraid to put horses where they can They fit and they can win. So I think they've got appeal. Number eight. Probably could wire the field if she runs to those workouts and probably breaks a little better and flashes that same figure that she ran down at Del Mar for the first part of that race, so I think eight is definitely a horse to beat 7 to 2. That's pretty good value. If we can get anything close to that I would probably lift that as a value that and then the number one. Also at good odds, 12 to 1 on the morning line with Pedro Terrero top jockey aboard, uh, cyclones flu. Just ran Amazing 5000. She's also a second time starter. Improvement could be coming and she was off pretty slow running 10th place early last time and close up to get beaten five lengths. In a in a decent effort there. So maybe 5000 she's taking one little step up to Maidan Eight. I think cyclones flew on the rail could be dangerous as well. So we're going to go 81. And then the first time starters Number six and 76 of the Indian Evening. First time starter for Ellen Jackson named Evening ambition. She gets Silvio Amador in the saddle. No workouts to speak of. But that's not uncommon with Alan Jackson and these Indian evening hit at 24% 1st time out, so they usually show speed and they have a huge, very precocious 24% 1st time win rate. And then the number seven is the first timer with decent workouts. Get Santos surveyor in the saddle and modestly bread here but good workouts and could come out running for a trainer who can get them ready to win. That's L. Victor, our number seven so scrambling and altogether where the 8167 and there's a couple prices in there. I think that can get us through and you might want to do an exacta box 8167. Think there could be some value there, I guess. Handy Catholic in little second half of the show. Taking a look at the go on game fields races. We move on to race number eight. I believe Race eight has one of our value bets for the day in it. We're looking at number 10 and we have one of those 11 horse field and we're looking at the 10 shot of a lifetime 8 to 1 in the morning line. This is a mile and an eighth on the turf. He just sprinted. Turn back got sharpen up in a very, very fast sprint race to one by N. Ra and war games That really sets them up. Well, I think for the stretch out He's run. Well, Tamala, Nate's got beat a nose here at this exact condition. They may that was just four starts to go, and I think he's set up for another good effort. Here. I think shot of a lifetime 8 to 1 is very overlooked on the morning line. So that was one of our valley. That's today in the very sharp Enos slaughter right to his outside number. 11 was our second call. That's a 6 to 1 shot. So we're 8 to 1 number 10 over the 6 to 1 number 11 and then the favorite should go as the number seven Keystone Field who has good numbers. But just not sure He's really got that winning spirit. He's one for 10 with a lot of in the money finishes. I'm not sure if he can get by the speed of shot of a lifetime arena Slaughter number 11 number seven Keystone Field. We're going to use them on our late series. But I think the value should be the 8 to 1 shot of a lifetime. Definitely over the favorite number seven. All right. Men are decks races. It is the ninth race and, uh, that wraps up the day and this is a a large field in the ninth. Yeah, the large. It's a large field 11 horses, and I said there was to grab bag kind of races today. The seventh race and this ninth grade, So both of them are part of the late pick four series and this race is hard to handicap. It's got a lot of horses doing a lot of different things. And coming from a lot of different levels. Uh, we have Ordered it out as the number 10 big Irish eyes as our top call. Um I really like the top two horses. I think 10 and four in here, um, should take Most of the play but 10 big Irish eyes. At 6 to 1 and the number four persistence also at 6 to 1. Those are our top two calls here. We also stretched it down to the number 20 bucks given which is a 3 to 1. Uh, kind of a lukewarm morning line favorite, and then the number 11 handsome account so big Irish eyes. Going route to sprint turf to to pita doing a lot of different things dropping of 4000 non winners of Lifetime..

"President trump presidential also colder rainy like everything else but i will say it's furthering my point. The president on sunday addressed in front of the group of delaware veterans not just the sacrificed day and their families made for those loss service but he made it very deeply personal and spoke about his son. Beau who himself was a veteran who had died six years ago that day and certainly this president understands world day is all about in the sacrifice that american families have made. Well you know and blow told him both told us when he came on the sad whenever we talked zombies his his military service and the friends. that And colleagues at he knew and and loss in the war set that was felt like that was the most important thing he did in his life. So obviously very personal to the biden's just like it is for so many so many families more also. We were watching joe biden yesterday. It's so it's so interesting. That if i heard any president talking about democracy and we need to fight for five six years ago i would've said okay. That's great but we're we. We assume that's the reality in america for why is he talking about almost democracy defense. Why is he talking about democracy. And it just really. It's just another sharp reminder of where we are in twenty twenty one that there are illiberal so-called democracies across central and eastern europe there is a growing totalitarianism across the globe. And the growing number of americans who were saying that they want the election results overturned. They'll even resort to violence if you believe the polls to achieve those ends right. The president is talking about democracy because democracy is under threat at home and abroad It was even more meaningful when you think that we spent the past four years having a president who i think if we remember wasn't that long ago i don't wanna miss quote him but i think at some point he called. veterans losers. So you know. I think there are. There are millions of americans for yesterday was was a very solemn day and a reminder that democracy and freedom are really truly not free. It's not trite if you've lost someone in war or you know if you were out marching for civil rights in the sixties or for voting rights last year or this year. Look what's happening in this. This was an emotional day for my family as well. My uncle donovan died in two thousand thirteen of an agent orange related. You've gotten vietnam right. And so the families have sacrificed to build this democracy and to to hopefully expand it. I think a majority of americans who voted for for joe biden want to see this democracy indoor and expand to be better and to include all all of us and there are liberal. Joe that don't want that and so we're so sorry for your family but it's a reminder. There are so many families that that will remembering yesterday and not just for those who died in battle but for those who died from the effects of battle. And we've certainly seen it over the past decade the past twenty years the number of young americans committing suicide that served our country in uniform. And it's it's just again. It's something that bears Bears repeating every day about those remarkable sacrifices willie speaking of tried. And and i. I hate to bring this up. I really do but speaking of try you look at the tried attacks the vice president on on friday. You want to go after somebody because of policy that something but the us memorial day because she tweeted have a nice long memorial weekend or whatever it by the way yesterday memorial day. Let me just educate everybody out there. I know some of you are new. This some of you may be forgotten what it's like to be americans. I know the last four or five years have been sort of ood destabilizing for you. I didn't say that and destabilizing forty memorial day was yesterday. Memorial day weakens over the weekend and willie what was so remarkable about remarkably trite and small about the fake outrage. That that was aimed at kamala harris on friday for a tweet ways. You just i think george conway said oh you wanna go there. You really wanna go there you want to you. You wanna look. Donald trump's tweets on memorial day about his economy and how great everything's going etc etc like nothing to do with sacrifice guy who for four and a half years had absolutely no idea how to connect with those who have sacrificed for this country. Made what happened on friday All all sort of the more tried the more sad. That people were that desperate to attack on this weekend. Yeah and as you say. Donald trump who many of them probably support if they're attacking comal harris that way. Put out a message. Talking about gas prices for memorial day weekend and remember how great your president donald trump was and that the uptick in price is taking place because of joe biden it turned into an attack on the sitting president so enjoy the long weekend from kamala harris. Obviously there's some hypocrisy on there on a day yesterday especially joe. I mean there are so many families out there if you think about for example. The vietnam veterans wall. My dad fought in vietnam and experience with agent orange that affected his life and still affects it today. Mike they're fifty eight thousand three hundred eighteen names that wall alone and you stand in look at that wall. You can't help. But think of the loss potential the loss futures. I feel that. When i look at it i think about my dad and if obviously if he were on that wall. There's no me there's no. My kids aren't around so there's such a depth to a lot of families in this country. For what memorial day means you know we first of all the wall is overwhelming just by itself overwhelming to look at all the names and to be there and see people finger tracing the names of loved ones lost or friendships ended in vietnam And the agent orange effect on people still. Today that was mentioned by myra and uninsured. Affected your dad. I know several people who are deeply affected but yesterday the importance of president biden speech. I think was critical component to memorial dates. The idea of giving a speech about democracy sort of defining what democracy meant to him and to us has long been on his mind. Jonathan long been on his mind and he gave it yesterday on the perfect day to give especially given the confluence of events around us the texas legislature. The whole flap bowed voting. And i think if you speak to people. And i know you do in the white house. The idea that the republicans in the united states senate seat of ignoring the house to a certain extent but the republicans in the united states senate. Jonathan are such a monolithic bloc. Has surprised him yeah..

"Trust or is dropping so far in class. If the horse is worth 20,000, why would they running for 60 to 50? But you go back in his record back to January of last year, and he was claimed by Daniel Frankel for 5000, So they're making money on the horse anyway. And if they lose him for 60 to 50 that they still make money because he was only claim for 5000, so he's probably back down to the level that he belonged out all along, so I'm going to use 13 and four in the fourth race. All right. And to wrap up your early pick five. The fisheries, Fifth Race. Whose horse Conquest Women raid. Hey, was it Average horse before racing down south Racing Back east. He comes to Golden Gate and he's improves, runs a couple bad races, then runs second, and after those two races, he was wired a wire for 4000 on Ben. Two weeks later, he comes from fifth place, and this storm's passed leaders and wins by five links. Now he shows versatility in those two races. He won those two races easily. And now he runs in a race where he can't be claimed. It's a 4000 starter allowance. Any horse that ran the 4000 flamer in the last year and a half can be entered for this race and not be claimed. So. That shows confidence from Pablo de Jesus is 14 of his nine starters at the meeting, and he's just been such great form and at a race where he can't be claimed that shows a lot of confidence from the trainer song in a single conquest. Lemonade in the fifth race to end The early pictures. Five. Number six. The early pick five and also to start the late pick five. And so then we move on to the sixth race today, History started allowance for horses that ran for reclaiming price of 50,000 or less and haven't won more than one race. Jonathan Long has got another horse in here, where she claimed three races back. And last time out, uh, in allowance race so much stronger field on. Lee got beat a half length going six going 5.5 for loans, And this is a little bit easier. The field forces have about a lot of back class even ran in the bear fans Stakes in 2019. So this horse has talent have to work on a trip from the rail. But the horse has my speed and on Lee, a couple other speed horses, so I should get a good trip the other horse, and then he used his way to fire from the Steve Spec Barn. Steve's had a great start to the media. Get out of 28. Starting this week. 10 wins out of 28 starters, This horse has been in the money six out of seven times, Never worse and forth, runs his race every time. And has been competing at this level. It's about time the horse breaks through. So one and five in the sixth race eyes we move on to race Number seven Number seven another starter allowance, this one for horses that ran for 12 5 or or less so these horses can't be claimed. Tim McCann has got number one fax matter. This horse shows from speed and from the rail. I think that we're just gonna have to go did go wire to wire an allowance race back in May And, uh, finish third to a couple horses in this field last time out, But I think this horse gets an azure chance easier chance to take the early lead, especially from the rail, So I'm gonna take facts matter number one. The horse. I'm gonna take his number five Slam dunk sermon of the horse like I mentioned from Steve Spec. Smart this horse, one that this condition last time out after winning an allowance race. A regular allowance race, which is a much tougher, appealed the source taken advantage of the fact that he ran the 12 5 player back in the February 1st career debut. He's won six out of 11 his life. It's a very good win percentage and comes from just off the patient. Get a good trip. I'm using number five Slam dunk sermon and number one fax matter in the seventh, alright, or move on to the final two of Golden Gate Today A and the eighth race The eighth race. Dutch painting made his first start in the U. S. And first start since October. Didn't really didn't really finish all that strongly down the lane. He finished third ran third All the way around the track made a move and then kind of hung a little bit. Uh, the horse that won that race pay. Big Didrikson came from way off the face to win. I think with that race Under under her belt, Dutch painting. Oh, probably run a better race today, plus ads blinkers, which is a good sign for, uh, for trainer Mani. Bad idea. I'm gonna use touch bait Dutch painting number one and also reverie. Now this four steps up into a starter allowance class after doing very well in some claimers winning. Four out of his last seven and comes off a win in a 12 5 claiming race Now this race can't be claimed, which is a strong sign of Ah, confidence from trainer Steve Start. Steve Sherman. This horse comes from just off the base should get a good trip like one and four in the eighth race. And we wrap it up with the ninth and final like Golden Gate on this Valentine's Day. Nice and final. We like number 3 61 pour on the coal. Steve Spect reclaim this horse after Jonathan Wall and clean the horse from him and ran ran the horse once. And right away, Steve Spect one right back in and claim the horse back, and after that claim, the horse won two in a row $20,000 claiming condition clamors. This is a tougher field a regular allowance race, but that shows confidence and that the horse can't be claimed today, and the horse has a good work since the last race of One on one and three, So number three is in great form going to use that horse in the last race, plus number 10 Squire to other horse rather number eight claim of passion. The source just won by a nose at this level, but because being a California bred the horse gets a chance to read the same class. That was the horses first race up here and up here in the Don't that communicate feels after running some decent races in Southern California. So strong force claim a passion Kyle afraid. One. The El Camino Real Derby yesterday is aboard and finally going to use shad rack. The source lost by just the nose to claim a passion last time, and it's a very, very strong stretch runner. It's runs a series of decent races, has two wins in four seconds out of 15 starts, He'll be coming at the end. So three horses in the last race number three Number eight and number 10. In our final 30 seconds to have a thought on the late double between Santa need and golden Gate. Um, I didn't like those words. I do have Ah, opinion on the stakes race at Santa Anita. That's the side of the sweet.

"Off the pace, as does our El Camino Real Derby winner and in recent years horses that have won the executor. We have all been horses that run close to or on the lead, And I think that's happened because they've gone to a point system and so before it was earnings and grated races and so forces that made their earnings and sprint races As long as they were created. They made enough money to make it in the Derby field. So you had some more stellar not not cut out to be distance horse that running in the Derby. The pace would always be fast and would favor horses coming from behind. But the recent years That hasn't been the case and the horses that have one of them up close to the pace. Of course. The guy who's got those kind of horses is Bob Baffert. He's got life is good, who won won the sham stakes. On is going to run in the sand, Phillippi and March 6 and then he's got another horseman Dinos Spirit Who won the Robert Be Louis takes both of those horses run up front. There not need to lead ties, but they run at the front end. So Bob might have the advantage has already won six derbies, he might have the advantage again this year. Were Daddy with Larry's Doom's turf writer for the Stamps, Chronicle. And if in your green sheet today has the story on yesterday's race Well, let's take a look at today's card and see Who you like, out of Golden Gate, maybe the late double between Golden Gate and Sam Anita. Um yeah, The first race will play an early pick five breed very small fields. So it's only gonna be a small ticket, Um maiden, claiming 20,000 field of six favorite Favorites Spring to mind and too hot for curling. Um Spring to mind 2 to 1 favorite coming from Southern California first time for shipped up to Jonathan Long It does very well with his first time acquires horses acquired, but this horse hasn't been anything down south at all on the turf a couple times I prefer a couple horses here. Number one Tor Kay. Who comes off allows the effort at LaSalle in the dirt. But if you look at his two races on the tippy toe back in January and March of last year, he finished 3rd and 2nd very good performances. So with the sprint preparation him and back on the tippy toe, I think he's gonna improve a lot. The other horses going to use his number six on Lee, the fax. I don't need you like horses that have had 14 starts without breaking their maiden. But this horse has a pretty clear pace advantage as a front runner, Angels holiday does have to speed too, but that or stops on a dime every time So even if Angels holiday got the lead on Lee, the facts with Herrera in the saddle could just pretend that horse isn't there. And then when that horse stops the inland, the facts will inherit the lead. If only the facts doesn't get the lead from the start anyway. So in the first race, I'm taken number one and number six. All right, moving on to the second half of the pick five early. Pick five. Larry continues. Um, a lot of speed in this race. Um, Bigfoot City crack a cold one smile for Ashley and Fort York. All show some really speed. The one horse that doesn't is number four changing image at 8 to 1. No. The horses only one for 20 and another another kind of record. I don't usually like the support, but the pace in or out of this race sets up perfectly for changing image in an 8 to 1. I'm just going to single that horse in the pick five. Okay, That's number. In that sector is what's the number number four? I'm sorry. Number four changing Image Number four, Okay, moving on to the third race today. We have. Ah, my own of 16th maiden special way with a $30,000 purse. Um, two horses of Southern California. Actually, Mulholland Highway, the 2 to 1 to one second choice has raced up here a couple times finished. 3rd and 2nd only beat and neck last time that was on the tippy to has run on the turf down south Also. This horse just seems to run the same race every time and he's run against decent horses down south to end up here, and he just a solid horse, The other horse, another horses for the California Joe Hands, often e. The 9 to 5 Morning line favorite has also runs in competitive races in Southern California. On the turf turf forces translate to To the sapyta up here very well. So just there's enough speed in the field to set it up for Mulholland Highway or show hands off. Any one of those two horses is gonna win that race, so I'll use them both. In the third race number two and number five. Living on the race number four on this Valentine's Day and a reminder they'll be racing tomorrow for president stables that Sandy and Golden Gate and we're now onto the four trace yet but one mile Claiming 6259 winners A too Unless you want a bunch of cheaper raises. Gotta use three horses here number one Hot Sox. This horse has really speed, which could be effective in a race without much of that in the field. Claimed last out for 60 to 50 by Jonathan Wong from another good trainer, Steve Me. Adi and Jonathan has a 40% last two years on his first time off the claim 40% winners So you can't really deny that other horse I'm gonna uses his other horse, Agent zero. He's got two horses in your This horse stretches out after running evenly in a sprint last time. So hey comes from behind. He has one going long. He broke his maiden going long. So, ah, Horse from in front and a horse room back both from the same trainer coming off claims with a 40% strike rate and the final horse. I'm going to use his number four Imperator Reiter. And Parade ER looks like a huge class dropped 20,000 last time down to 60 to 50 been running in solid race is much richer races all along normally wouldn't Really trust or is dropping so far in class. If the horse is worth 20,000, why would they running for 60 to 50? But you go back in his record back to January of last year, and.

"And Roman Evan Roman combined 27% and this horse Mm. I am expecting this horse is to go to the lead and never look back, so number one in the fifth race. Okay and it, said Jonathan Long. So who the first fly, but we take a look at race number six and, uh, Place person 12,005 and half furlongs and, uh, We'll see who you come up with in the six ways today at Golden Gate Once again, it's a race devoid of much speed. And there is one horse that has speed number three is the speed bomb. Well named horse nearly went wire to wire last time. Uh, I'm back in August. Holly Evans trained the horse before the horse won one out of five. What? Why are the wire in the maiden special way way back in February was awful while came back and showed speed again, dropping down to the 12 5 level now winners, a two but now trained by a seed, wrote to Mayo was one of the top trainers become one of the top trainers in the Bay Area. Probably the second most wins in 2020 of any trainer in the Bay Area, and you see the First time with the trainer 33% not return on investment of $2.48 also 36% where the horse is coming from a layoff of up to six months with no speed in this race, and I like the workouts one of three into one on one and 21 or two from the gate one on one and three to me, so sources fit at a lot of 5 ft. Long workouts. I don't see this horse getting beat. Wired wired to the speed bomb in the sixth, speeding on and being bored as we Iran to the seventh race in the seven today they're going to go a mile for a start on allowance person 15,000. I think this is the second richest race on the card today. Uh, yeah, this was started allowances are always good races because they usually have a lot of veteran horses that like to win because you're you're only eligible. If you run for acclaiming price of a certain level, and in this case, it's 8000. Um, it's just race. It's uh, 8000. And, um you have a horse is you have a lot of course. Is that like to win and they can't be claimed, But they have to be basically claimers. So these are the better versions of claiming horses. And we have a couple in here that are pretty darn good. Color me. Happy number 1 13 for 36 Lifetime, Um Went down south last time and threw.

"Sullivan. Then we welcome. Uh, Larry Stones wasn't but I'm in a while, just like Golden Gate. You didn't check down, but he's back today on at track Hilarious tombs of the Chronicle. Good morning, Larry. Good Morning, Sam. How we doing? We're doing fine. So we're ready for you to run a school. The handicap of today's golden Gate Fields card on the races. You like? Well, we're gonna risk race first base. We're going a mile. That mile Maiden claiming 12 5. You know, there's the fields are very short today and that races they're very cheap. Both here and at Santa Anita. So the pick five I'm gonna play are going to be very Inexpensive because I don't want to invest too much when it's not going to pay too much. So anyway, the first race has got a field of field of six, um, going a mile meeting claiming 12 5. 2 to 1 favorite. The morning lines. Red Hot Cat from Southern California shouldn't sent up to Steve Sherman beaten double digit links every race down there, making clambers down there translate to the maiden claimers up here, even though the Claiming price lot cheaper. The horse I like on the horse. I'm going to single in the pick five as number three dealers hand this horse's race a couple times in Beijing special weights and really didn't embarrass himself, finishing fourth after setting the pace in a sprint than finishing fourth again and I'm route on the turf and then, uh, Back to six furlongs didn't do very well in the maiden, claiming 25 then was has been off since September. 26th. But, um, gets Lasix for the first time and I'm down to the 12 5 maiden level. Jose Batista is good off the, uh Off the lay off like this, and also good sprint to route. So, um, in order to beat the favorite, um the other horses just haven't done anything at all that inspire any confidence, so I'm gonna single number three dealers hand in the first race at Golden Gate. Okay. We move on to the second race I'm gonna have for long started reality. First of 19,000. Yeah, probably the Christians race on the program. Once again just six horse field going 5.5 furlongs. Couple of horses. I like number one. Van Gogh go from Southern California was switched from Louis Mendez to Jonathan. Long, um, before her last two races, and all of a sudden she went wire to wire and crushed both times Maiden, claiming 20 at LaSalle, which is the absolute bottom level and then a 16,009 winners. A to clamor. Now these air a little higher class, but Again shipping up from Southern California. And also there's not a whole lot of early speed in this field. She's definitely the fastest fastest mare in the race. So 321 I'm putting her on the ticket with Kyle Frey and You see that combination of fray and Jonathan Wong 38% over the last two years, so also going to use number two. Away from the sun. This horse really ran a great race. First time out on the turf. October 22nd five furlongs, sat back in the pack and then made a huge move and one by five links. You know, horse. They're one of the turf almost always handled the synthetic been off since then, But that was such a devastating win by five lengths and have to use away from the sun. Obviously, we know she could run. Fresh. So one and two in the second race. All right, I guess Candy camper here on Golden Gate fields. Such are back running is Larry students Turf writer for the Chronicle, and we moved to race number. Three. Their race on the card today. Yep. Non winners the 2 60 to 50 Clamor. Could you use three horses here? The one hypersonic Once again. Jonathan Wong horse coming up in southern California. Jeff Mets train the horse down there. 11 out of 10 starts, of course. Jonathan 37% 1st off first time with him. The training has had some good works of Golden Gate one on one on 11 on one for a minute and one really good works. Um, on the horse. Um, probably a couple off. The pace today went was leading most of the way and mile race March 22nd at Santa Anita. That's the last time that that That he's erased, but I like those workouts, and once again Jonathan's really good off a long way off like that. 37% so number one hypersonic number two at 15 to 1, Idiot and Love. This horses run some decent races also has some speed and just the fact that a horse runs decently certainly translates to a contender in this field. Finally, I'm gonna use number six Bigfoot City Once again. This horse showed speed last time. One of maiden claimer 12 5. Not not a bad rated race. Got a 64 Beyer speed figure, which fits right in with these horses of actually better, better speed figure than the other two horses I have on my ticket and that newfound speed might serve Bigfoot City. Well, especially with the outside boast so 12 and six in the third. And we will go on and you really picked five to the fourth race day at Golden Gate Fields. Most time 12 45 is golden Gate is back running. No friends are allowed to attend. However, you can catch it on T V G or on the Golden Gate Fields website the races from Golden Gate Fields. I'm going to go a mile with made special weights..

"Said that data, but the good news is Golden Gate will start running. This coming Friday as racing will resume at Golden Gate Fields, and it'll be a four day week with the special racing on Morton Bay sticking Monday. But let's see who you like it standing here today on a nine race card to begins at 12 30. Okay, let's start out with the first race field of maidens on the turf. We got a eight horse field. I don't see any world beaters in here. There's some very nicely bred horses and some second time starters, which are always dangerous to move forward in the second start, But Richard Mandella has two in here. They're the favorites on the morning line. Golden is by tap. It has four stakes winning siblings. Obviously royally bred here. She's 8 to 5 on the morning line on Lee has one race under her belt, and it wasn't okay. It was an okay third On the turf going long in that first start, and the good news is the winner came back to run very well in the state straight off of that wind on New Year's Eve as a two year old fake, so I think that race will be the one to come out of both of the Mandela Forces air coming out of that one golden, the lightly raced one, beat her stablemate Ivy League. In that one Narrowly. Ivy League has a lot more experience, and probably not as much upside. So I'm gonna go golden on top. The one Richard Mandella, top of the other, Richard Mandella, and then uh, Michael McCarthy has a horse in here, also making a second start, but from a different meeting race, quick and dirty, who's been working well and comes out of a maiden claimer but high price maiden claimer and goes up in here. I don't think she outgunned either. So Went 364 in here in that order, and those were the three I used on an early pick. Five. All right, moving on the race number two with Matt. But Seska speed figures dot com. Yeah, race too. I really like a horse in here. That's gonna be our best bet of the day and probably the one that we sent out via email this morning. We have a free email like a small play that we usually send out when we really like something and get Jet a number four in race, too. Really stands out in here. To me. It's only a field of five and it first glance. They are pretty evenly matched, but I really like agenda. She's she's lightly raced. He hasn't been seen since October. She's only has four starts, and they've always handled her like a really nice Billy. And I don't see any reason why they shouldn't she debuted about the little over a year ago. Um, as a two year old at Del Mar Ram. Excellent number there came back at Santa Anita got her maiden broken with another excellent race over this track, which is a win here. That's important. And she said, a really fast pace that day decent figure, and then they brought her back that you actually had high hopes. They brought her back in the great three fan Isabel and routed her a mile and 1/16, which is Probably further when she wants to go, but they wanted to see what they had. She set the pace in there, which is a strong pace and faded. Behind some future stakes winners 2nd 2nd Place came back to win. She wasn't able to handle the mild, 16th Graded States company and they brought her back fresh under brought her back just a couple months ago. In a five furlong turf race that turned out to be pretty productive. It was very fast race over Delmar huge field of 12. She didn't embarrass herself. She was 4 ft. And two and three quarters and I think Get Jetta is set up here nicely. To be upon the pace and power at home. So get Jenna. The four we're gonna go over the number one Miss FIA coming up a nice when it lost cell in an invader from the Kentucky circuit with good numbers. Number two jungle juice 412 in that second race, All right, moving on to your third leg of your early pick five. So third leg is again We got maiden straight maiden Phillies just turned three years old. And there's Several coming out of common races here. I think the best common race to come out of the two and the three lady mystify and number three Honor America coming out of the better of the races. Both of them showed good speed and finished about a length apart in there, I'm going to give the edge to Lady mystifying Number two. She's an expensive daughter of burner Jeannie for Peter Kurten. And just watching the video thinks maybe she has a little bit more upside to her. But the number three owner America comes of that same race. She's a very expensive into mischief. Philly and also off obviously has upside there so Those are the two they sent a really fast paced there. Lady Mystify actually hung on around for second, beaten only a half and the horse she beat came back to air out of field and win by five on the turf. In a straight maiden field. Just a last week, So I think those are the two lady mystified on America, so I'm going to go to three in the third race. And there's a bathroom first timer in their class reunion. I'm sure she's going to get a lot of betting She's got Joel Rosario want, but just the workout reports and just watching her visually in those workouts. I think she needs longer. She just doesn't seem very quick. I think she's not really ready here yet, but she's an expensive daughter of curling obviously couldn't run. But I don't think this is the spot for her six furlongs. I think she's gonna want longer and the workouts don't suggest that she's completely ready as most passwords usually are. So I'm gonna go to 35 in here now. Bowie along and your pick five with Matt, but Tesco speed figures dot com. Okay, The pick five. You are top call here is gonna be our value. Bet it's 4 to 1 on the morning line Number seven. Full draw. Hey gets in here. He's coming off a couple kind of hidden races on the turf going long. Then they shorten him up in a maiden 40,000 race at Los El, and he ran a very good race. He was off slow there. Latin out but ran a decent number. And I think the 4 to 1 will hold on there. They could not actually get 9 to 2 or possibly, you know, 5 to 1 and, uh, you know, you know, Wide open race. There's ah There's 10 horses in here. I think seven old rock deserves a little bit of a value bet a 4 to 1. I like the number the number one Bob Baffert horse. HJ eyes the second call, and then we have number six in K Rocketman unusual heat, Uh, getting onto the dirt for the first time, and he will be the third call. I think those are the ones you got to look at. And you 716 in the fourth. We went on the race five to complete your hurry. Pick five. Okay, Race. Five is an interesting turf Sprint and we have it's a allowance, second level allowance. Um We've got. We've got a local horse coming in this race. Sadie, Bluegrass for Jonathan Long. I think she's a little overmatched in here. She's a wind machine, and she might just be too. She's pretty much undefeated over our tippy to surface. But obviously that's been out of out of commission since it's about November s. Oh, thank God. She looks like she's a little bit overmatched. I'm going to go against her here. And I'm going out to the number two Aqua Sea formed shame coming out of a common church sprint here. With with the Phillies on the outside. We have Heather's great coming out of a turf route going to Sprint. I think that's what you want to do. And then any surprise so To Aqua Sea form. Shame. I think we're going to get a little bit of a value. It's a number two Rispoli force for Richard Baltic. That's gonna be another value. Bet the number two Aqua Sea form. Shame you're sprinting. And coming out of a graded stakes over and any surprise nine And then the Heathers gray shortening up and sprinting here, number 8 to 98 were fixed here in the fifth..
