"Okay Okay Yeah which bothered me by the way just just because I'm like he seemed like he was having such a good time and was happily married and then all the sudden. He's making out with another woman. Yeah I don't know he he was happily married but I mean he. He was giving her the side. I the whole night at that party. I I was trying to break that down to like. was. He really kind of like mildly attracted to her for a long time or or I don't know then she goes back to nineteen fifty three and says I think that might be my husband and had good. She relieve him there. Well that was really bizarre. That was very interesting that whole thing because first of all she gets time device and this was something that initially really bothered me about season two is and all of a sudden. Everybody's got a time device. They're all over the place and they're all jumping back and forth because they're all from different time periods well yeah and I'm like what the how this needs to stop but she gets a hold of the time device because future Jonas who was the stranger in season one future Jonas comes back to her and he says hey it's me and he's like forty then you know and he says hey it's me and he tells her of you know. This is the deal I've got this time device while she likes deals feels that while he's sleeping and it goes to the cave and use it and goes back to nineteen fifty three so apparently this woman sole motivation her whole life is to get with Orrick Rick so she goes to the psychiatric ward where he's being held and she said she says I think this is my husband and she talks to him and and I think that she realizes in that point that he doesn't love her. He wants to get home to Katerina and his family even though he says he loves her because He thinks that that'll get him out. Yes but she sees it. She realizes he doesn't and she says I'm sorry I thought this was my husband but but it's not and she leaves him there and she tells it was Egon Right. Yes yes she tells him you know I just I just want a fresh start and she totally giving him the eye so the implication was you'll do right so I think that somebody in this show is gonNA and ended up being their kid to the next season. It wouldn't surprise me it wouldn't surprise me yeah I was trying to break down which of the characters actors that could possibly be but I have been able to puzzle it out well. I know that they're going to be new characters in season three. Okay I did read that all right all right. Let's talk about Jonas Jonas. Who is I think really a lot of things. I've I've Read Mint mentioned him. As the protagonist it is the hero's rose journey he is the hero which I think is why it is so hard for many of us to accept him as Adam because I don't think we've found anything good about Adam Adam. So what we know is that Jonas he dated Martha Nielsen then Finds Out Martha's his aunt poor kid and we already mentioned when he ends up in twenty-fifty to an apocalyptic future and there he discovers the secret at the power plant behind the wall. Almost dies is because he goes in. He sees that it's the God particle turns out turns figures out how to stabilize it and is able to travel back in time but you know this is what I don't get. It seems like sometimes you can go into this bubble and like Hannah and you could be like Oh let me go back to nineteen fifty three uh-huh and Jonas centers it and he ends up in nineteen twenty. One doesn't know where he is so well. My thought on that was that there is first of all. There's this whole hi dear of predetermination that everything needs to happen and this God particle somehow knows that okay that's one theory I have the other theory is that Adam is somehow controlling where people are going. That was my other theory. I don't know if either of those will pan out but for my crazy ideas so he's back in one thousand nine hundred eighty one and he meets the man behind it all atom who we think wants to destroy everything and create a new world and he discovers that he is actually Adam so the question Ms. Why does he go by atom and not Jonas anymore well. I think that's a clear biblical reference right wants to create a new world where there is is no time and he sees himself as the first being of that world. There are other references to that too like Noah well right right. There's no they're they're also there's also a painting in that church or wherever it is that he is that I believe is the same painting that's known as the hand of God okay right with all the bodies right. Yes yes. It's it's called. It's called sorry. It's called the creation of Adam. Okay and it's a Michelangelo Painting and it basically is showing the scene from the book book of Genesis in which God gives life to Adam the first man and what you see is the near touching hands of God and Adam and it's become kind of iconic of humanity city so maybe he thinks not necessarily that that there is a god but there is a God particle and that he is touching it it as Adam and you see that same kind of seen over and over again when that portal opens up like when you see Charlotte Elizabeth reaching out to touch each other and I'm not sure if they ever actually do touch. I don't think they actually show so the other thing. I wanted to mention real quick a little love. The point that I thought was interesting was the necklace that Martha made for Jonas. They they had found this kind of metal The beach I think and Martha made it into a necklace to give to Jonas and it was a picture engraved on of Saint Christopher who is the patron saint of travelers and that is what we haven't talked about six Mondays yet but that is the group that atom leads and they're big call themselves travelers right right yeah yeah and then we have. Ns Who's the nurse who adopted mickle and eventually became Michael and when he showed up in one thousand nine hundred six and we know that she gave him sleeping pills regularly yeah I had questions. Do you think that he was remembering things because he mentioned in the future you remember what he's talking to. Jonas at the table when Jonas goes to two thousand nineteen and tries to stop him from committing suicide. He's talking to him at the table able and he's saying that you know when he was a young kid he he remembered all this but it slowly faded away right extent which is normal that. I think that would happen for anybody sleep but yeah I think she wanted to keep him. I think she wanted to help him sleep but I think she wanted to make sure that that he was hearse. I and the other thing too is in the future in two thousand nineteen rather. I should say in the family home with Hannah and Michael and Jonas. Ns is folded out of the family picture. and they've never explained explain that right so yeah. Maybe maybe Michael grew up to hate Innis. I don't know yeah that's that's another big question. I agree yeah that is weird and they it's the same house they live in which I didn't realize until this yes yes. It is you know. Inas and Michael Michael lived in the House that Michael grows up to live in with Jonas and Hannah so and the inspector that comes to town. I just want to mention him. I don't know glossing it costs in question. Yeah who I I something about his face. I did not like him at all but I think that was sort of the supposed to supposed to not like him. He kind of said that that one thing that I think I was thinking without really thinking in that is why does nobody ever leave windonw right. Nobody ever leaves and it's true. They all stay there all right. Let's switch families. Let's go to the Nielsen's yeah. Let's start art with oral okay so he's a detective or a police officer. I'm not I don't know if they clearly define his position and he worked with Charlotte. She was his partner at the wind and police station now now. In season one he was having an affair with Hannah but then his son Michael Disappears and we also find out that his brother Mads had disappeared in one thousand nine hundred six in a similar fashion so you know Orrick is really you kind of shook with this any. It's he's driven to find Michael. He's he's investigating what happened to Michael and he realizes that mads is avoid that turned up dead in the woods so in twenty nine thousand nine hundred shortly after mickle disappears. There's there's suddenly this dead body they find in the woods and they think it's mickle but it's actually mads overex- brother right from years ago but he hasn't aged so overex- like. WHOA WHOA and he somehow travels back in time to Nineteen fifty-three that which I don't remember. How do you remember how he actually was able to go all through the tunnel? He went into the caves and I think he had been opened the door all right. I can't remember how I feel like they're. I feel like they're inconsistent about like you. Sometimes you can go through the tunnel or sometimes if you have the machine yeah see the thing I got from that is that it was an evolution like first of all they had the two men Noah and the other guy in the very beginning nineteen twenty one hammering out that tunnel right then the next progression was the the time machine that they built and then there was the device that they had Helga in the little like torture chair. Yes actually that was before. The time machine was built before Tenet. Tannenbaum was at his name before H G. What's his name created the gold device in the box the right the device with the chair and then there was the was the device and then there was the ultimate device that Adamu's that could send anybody anywhere and then in the season two finale we see the alternate version and of Martha with the Little Globe owes right and even further evolution so that's just all an evolution okay so yeah. It was a little inconsistent I I I agree but I think that that was meant to be like an evolution of the time travel technology. I Guess Yeah Yeah so does travel back in time and he's arrested for the deaths of two other young boys that were also somehow you know caught up in this whole time travel thank and what we found out season two is that he'd been stuck there in this prison and then a psychiatric ward from nineteen fifty three to nineteen eighty six and we already talked about how Ohana had gone to possibly rescue him but ultimately left him there right but can I just say that the actor that they cast to play his older older self in one thousand nine hundred eighty six so spot on oh very interesting. I why okay because I did not agree. That was one of the actors when I looked at him when they first went to him. I was like who's this like. It took me a little bit to figure that out. Oh no I some of the other other casting has been so amazing okay all right. I thought the casting was great. I'm like Oh my God that looks exactly like what I thought he would look like as an older man and overall overall a fantastic job with casting yeah yeah and I've actually seen some people say that has been one of their most favorite scenes when he actually escaped from the psychiatric hospital and reunites with mickle it was good. I know it was really family good and then at the end of the police car and he sees his other two kids. I know like oh he he got the worst deal out of all them although. Oh let's not forget he did try and kill Hill Gay. He did yeah and another thing about this. Show is like every again. We talk about this. Everybody's got a little bit of good a little bit bad. Maybe not everybody I don't know. Fan has gotten a good in her but she does. I think all right Katharina which in the English speaking version they called her Catharina. I don't know which is the right way to say it but as it kicked Katharina that's how they that's how it sounded in the show yeah Katharina Catarina so she's the principal the local high school of married to alright..
