"Hello and welcome to the MMPB NFL podcast. I'm Connor Moore. We've got Albert Greer here. I'm in a good mood because I survived the most difficult part of the NFL preseason, Albert, which is getting my in-laws family through their fantasy draft. And oh, nice. So last year, the problem was at the last minute, one more person wanted to join. So we were in a Yahoo league that was locked. Yeah. And so the draft was going on as I was canceling the league. Half the people are drafting in Yahoo. And I love everybody there. But we got some septuagenarians here. Maybe not the most technologically inclined people. Yes, great people. But a little bit of work going on there. So half the leagues drafting in the Yahoo, texting me, freaking out. I'm creating an ESPN league here on the other side of the fence trying to get people who just figured out how to make a Yahoo account to make an ESPN account sign up for it. So this year, I'm like, OK, if we're going to do this again, let's run down all the possible scenarios and let's make sure everybody's good and everybody's good. And they say, yes. OK, 15 minutes before the draft starts, two separate people in the league create two usernames. So of the 12 teams, two people have four teams. And then it is blocking the other two people who didn't sign up when we asked them to sign up. So now the draft is again in five minutes. I'm trying to remove the extra managers. You can't do it because the draft is technically live. And so then you have to use the league manager tools to shut down the draft, remove the managers, and then the draft goes in 15 minute increments. You have to push it 15 minutes down the road. Well, some people can't draft in 15. And I was just like, I'm never doing this again. I'm so much looking forward to it, but that is the barrier. I may have your solution. So step down. My son's playing tackle for the first time this year and someone set up for his tackle team, a fantasy league. And so I had to sign into it. Right. Like and so I sign into it and I'm like, OK, when's the draft? And Steve's really excited about this and everything else. We decided to just do an auto draft. Oh, and then, yeah, just go from there, which I thought was kind of genius. Just let the computer take care of it. Boom. Auto draft. Now you can kind of go forward and manage your transactions from there and work your roster from there. But yeah, like if if you're dealing with people who like like like you said, like the septuagenarians might not be like technologically inclined enough to get it done. Well, like the eight, nine year olds are the same way. Right. So why don't you get the eight, nine year olds? Give them a team. Right. So they have a team now and then they can work from there. So maybe the auto maybe the auto draft thing is the right thing for you guys, too. Oh, that's brilliant. One more funny fantasy football draft story. We're doing our season predictions, by the way, our Super Bowl predictions, our word predictions. So hang on for that after we get through with all of our grievances from fantasy drafts. So here's one more thing. This is just a story that is unique to people working inside of the NFL and also drafting fantasy football teams. So I am in a league with Mike Garofalo from NFL Network, who, you know, very well, Mike and I came up together at the ball. Mike was well on his way to being famous. And I was like the intern transcribing his bullet quotes. I believe Mike would have been Giants beat writer then, right? Giants beat writer. Yeah. I was an intern. He he created my Twitter account. He's really. Yeah. The Giants signed Keith Bullock. And he was like, you have to transcribe this for me. I'm doing something. And he's like, I can just tweet out the quotes while he's saying it. And I was like, I don't know what that is. And I had to make a Twitter account. It was great. So Mike, Mike, help me out with that. So anyway, there is someone in the league with the username making fun of Garofalo, who I thought was Garofalo. And that person right in the middle of all the Travis Kelsey stuff going on took Kelsey in the first round. And so I am then my wife's drafting a fantasy league and she's like, what's going on with Kelsey? And I was like, I mean, Garofalo just took him in the first round, so I'm sure he's going to be fine. And then I find out, I find out like 10 minutes later that that wasn't Mike. I've kept the lid on that one, so I haven't really told her about that yet. But we'll see what happens with Kelsey. Hopefully plays tomorrow and you won't have to deal with it ever. Yeah. It's like today. She's like, for the record, I don't think he's played tomorrow, but it would be it would be like an easy, clean solution for Connor here. She's like, do you think he's going to play? And I was like, oh, hyper extended knee doesn't sound great. But see, is the is the team name making fun of Garofalo pretty good? It's not like the hat, is it? No, not because you remember that. Like, I think that was who was that that made that was that someone made that account. They used to piss Michael. He like was like kind of like, haha. But I think deep down it kind of pissed him off because it was a good habit. And you know what? It was like Mike. Mike is is a stylish guy and he was hanging out with not a lot of stylish guys. And I think that's the problem is when when you're taking your style to the next level and everybody else is trying to stay the same. There's a frustration there because people make funny. Try to be different. It was a good hat. I eventually bought a similar hat. So it was like a knit. Like, wasn't it like a knit cap? But it was kind of like looked like a quasi baseball cap, right? Yes. It was like a hybrid between like a tweed cap and like a knit cap and baseball cap. Yeah. The team was Garofold. Oh, I'm not sure if I'm not sure what the reference is. Yeah. I mean, the last thing on the fantasy thing is the great thing about this job is everybody thinks that you're like a fantasy master. Like I was helping Steve's hockey coach with his fantasy draft over text last night. And it's like, I just got to give you the warning that I finished last in my fantasy league, like every year with my college buddies, because they're sitting at work on like, you know, a Wednesday or whatever, like running the transactions and everything else. I can barely remember to set my line up on Sunday. So like this, this idea that I'm like that, that we're all like, we all have like this like treasure trove of like fantasy secrets. Like, I mean, I obviously it's my job to know what's going on in the league and all that different stuff. But I mean, I can barely tell you how the scoring works. So you might, I might not be your guy when it comes to that specific thing. I've gotten a D in most of my drafts because I keep taking a quarterback in like the second round. And then in like the fifth round, I take Anthony Richardson and and all the draft things like that's the dumbest pick. It's the worst pick. It's so stupid. I don't care. I want Anthony Richardson on my team, but I don't think he's good enough to be a starting quarterback. And OK, he could. I mean, he might be a really interesting Justin Fields. You know what? Like, I, I sort of think Shane Steichen is holding a lot of things back. And I sort of think and I sort of think that, like, I'm not saying it's going to be Washington in 2012. But you remember that, like Robert Griffin, like they showed nothing in the preseason. They showed nothing in the summer. And then that first game, they were they averaged like seven yards of play, scored 40 points at almost 500 yards. And I think that there's a possibility that the first month of the season could look like that for the Colts. So Richardson could wind up like at least in the short term before teams catch up with it, could wind up being a really good fantasy pick. So there's your fantasy advice from me. If you're out there listening and you still think that we're fantasy experts after listening to all that. And then and then I'll trade them. But I just want them on my team now. Anyway, so I have our staff predictions up, Albert, which are posted right now on SI.com. And I'm pretty bummed. I thought I had a unique Super Bowl pick. But like everybody, you and me, we have the same Super Bowl pick. Everybody's got this Super Bowl pick and we're not very original. We both have the Bengals nostalgia for 1988. Yeah, we have a Bengals 49ers Super Bowl on our hands here. Yeah. Yeah. It seems like that's the consensus. Me, you, Gilberto picked it. Yeah, I'm just scanning through this. But yeah, it's I was actually like interesting because it was my pick for the Super Bowl at the beginning of the playoffs last year. And those two teams, I believe both of them lost in the championship games. Right. And there were extenuating circumstances in both games. Right. Like the Bengals very easily could have beaten the Chiefs and the AFC title game if it weren't for the Joseph Assai thing. And then the Niners obviously have the quarterback injury that completely flipped upside down the NFC title game. So and you know what, like the one thing I hesitate with this is I think that like this is sort of a stock thing anyway. Like it does feel like the teams that are the darlings the next year are usually the teams that lost in the conference title game. So I wonder if I'm just stepping on a banana peel with that one. But I like both rosters are loaded, you know, and the Bengals between I think having the best receiver group in the league, maybe the second best quarterback in the league, a really good backfield, an offensive line they tore, they poured a ton of resources into. And then the defense has come up really big under Lou Annaromo in the playoffs the last couple of years. I you know, I think the Bengals are primed to get back there and they showed last year how sustainable what they did two years ago was. And then I just think the Niners have the best roster in football, you know, and they've been knocking on the door so consistently and generally teams that knock on the door eventually break through. I have them losing in the Super Bowl, but they've been right there. It's like almost like the Rams, you know, like the Rams were knocking on the door for an extended period of time and eventually kick the door down. I think the Niners have the best, most balanced roster in football. I think they have the most premium players in football. I think they have maybe the best coaching staff in football. And, you know, a lot of this is going to come down to what they can get out of Brock Purdy. So I don't know why more people don't and I understand the Rams when their Super Bowl year were a little bit of an outlier. But why don't more people pick their preseason Super Bowl picks based on the quality of depth? And I know that that's something that's sometimes hard for us to ascertain. But that's the reason I picked the Bengals in the 49ers. They're three deep at almost every position, both teams. And now the Bengals, you can say running back is a weakness. Tight end is probably a little bit of a weakness. And we'll see with that offensive line. I don't know. But even some of their backup quarterbacks are slinging in the preseason and looked OK if Joe Burrow is going to miss a few games. What cemented them as a Super Bowl champion to me was when I was there at training camp and I was there after Burrow got hurt. And what the receivers looked like, even with Burrow out. And it was like Jake Browning and Trevor Simeon throwing them. You know what I mean? And you watch it and it's like, oh my God. You take the second best quarterback in football out of the equation. And it often still looked like the 1999 Rams. And it was like, holy crap. And like what Chase was able to do, what Higgins was able to do. And they've got depth at those positions. And I'm with you on your other point, too. I think depth is the most underrated thing when you're making your picks, because, you know, all the cliches about pro football being a war of attrition are 100 percent true. Like the injury rate's 100 percent. Everyone's going to have injuries. And every year we hear teams bemoan, oh, well, we had this guy hurt that everyone has people hurt. You know what I mean? Like, and so there's an element of that where you almost can count on at least one, like, frontline cornerstone player is going to be out for an extended period of time. Right. And they're probably going to be a couple of starters out on top of that. And who can sustain the best. Right. And that's where the quarterback becomes really important, too. You know what I mean? Like, because the quarterback generally is, if the quarterback's a guy who can lift up people around him, well, then that can help you fix that problem. That's what Brady was so great with. Like, Brady could win with all different types of teams. You know, if he had an offensive line deficiency, the ball's out faster. If you have a receiver deficiency, he's going to throw it accurate enough where you won't need as much separation. If your defense is a problem, well, he can win the shootout. You know? Yep. And so that's the other part of it. It's like, it's the quarterback plus the depth. And I think the Bengals absolutely have all of it. The Niners will see. It's just that the roster is so overwhelming. You know? Like, when I was there, I was there, like, again, this is one of those where you pull a major part piece out of the equation. Their best player wasn't out there. Nick Posa wasn't out there. And you still look at it and it's like, holy crap. Like, there are just dudes everywhere here, you know? And so that's why I had those two teams there. And I think, you know, I don't want to sit here pretending I'm doing anything original with my pick. I think I picked the two teams that should be the favorites. Yeah, I agree. And I don't know. There's teams on here that would be fun for me to pick to go to the Super Bowl. The Jets are a perfect example. And I'm not just picking on the Jets because I think that there's something within this example that you can apply to a lot of other teams. Although picking on the Jets is kind of your brand. Picking on the Jets is a little, yeah, that's true. But what happens if, and knock on wood, I'm praying it doesn't happen. Well, I'm not going to name a name then, okay? What happens if an offensive lineman gets hurt? One, on that team. What happens if two get hurt on that team? And what is the likelihood that two get hurt on that team? How many teams out there have their same five from beginning to end for a majority of the snaps in a season? It's incredibly rare. Yeah, and there's so many teams like that too, because the offensive line is an issue, I think, across the NFL. Development of offensive linemen is an issue. I think every team in the AFC East has an offensive line issue. Every single one of them. Every single one. Right. And then the Chiefs have, like, no one talks about this, but Chiefs have two new tackles. And it should be an upgrade. And when I was there, they were like, this is the best set of tackles we've had. But communication is really important up front. Like, how do those guys fit with the other three? There could be a transition there. What I like about what the Bengals have done there is it was a weakness, no question about it, but they've kept throwing resources at it. And I think the Jonah Williams thing is really instructive, because they go get Orlando Brown, right? They have Lyle Collins, who's hurt, but who's coming off of an injury. And it's almost like, you know what, we can't throw enough resources at this. And like, if we get a second round pick for him, so what? You know what I mean? Like, it's like, what's that second round pick going to become? Like, don't we want to have that layer of depth here? Don't we want to have in case something happens? And you know what, like, if something doesn't happen, we'll figure it out. We'll find spots for all these guys. You know, we'll find a way to get our best five on the field. I don't know, like, I think that the way the Bengals have just continued to throw resources at it, I think is really smart, you know? And no, they didn't draft Pené Sewell over Jamar Chase, you know, a couple of years ago when, you know, I think, you know, Logic would have told you that it would have been the right thing to do. But they've thrown just about everything else at those positions, whether it was going and getting Lyle Collins and Ted Karras and Alex Capa, going and getting Orlando Brown this year, you know, drafting Jonah Williams where they did, they've continued to throw resources at it. And I think that allows for, hey, if there's an injury here, we're going to be okay. Yeah. I think those are, and here's probably the second thing that I don't think everybody takes into consideration when they're making preseason Super Bowl picks is, and you brought it up, what, how invested are you in your quarterback specifically? And the Bengals are, and it shocks me to hear this come out of my mouth. The Bengals are one of the most invested teams in the NFL in their quarterback. Now, it took them almost killing two other guys to get to this point where they feel like this is the right way to operate. But here we are. And you can say the same thing about San Francisco. Now, Brock Purdy is a seventh round pick, Mr. Elvin. But there is not a system in the NFL that is more friendly and more conducive to quarterback success than that one. And what they keep doing is they keep adding versatility, versatility, versatility. Brock Purdy is going to get vanilla looks on defense almost every time he steps up to steps under center. They're invested in him and they traded away Trey Lance like, you know, people could say that's crazy. But like, you want to remove that specter from the situation you want to give, you want to empower him and you've done it. And I think like it's interesting too, if you look like at the coaching staffs. And so I think like the Eagles of the previous iteration of the Eagles sort of became the model for this, where they just stocked their coaching staff with quarterback people. You know what I mean? Like, so it's Doug Peterson who played the position as the head coach. Then you had Frank Reich who played the position as the offensive coordinator, both those guys played in the league. John DiFilippo, who was a quarterback in college as the quarterbacks coach, you had Press Taylor on the next level after that. Like it was just the infrastructure there was we are going to get this right and we are going to create the right environment for the quarterback. You look at the Bengals. I mean, you talk about investing in the quarterback. Isn't part of that their head coach? Like I love Marvin Lewis. Marvin Lewis did some great things in Cincinnati. Marvin Lewis is a defensive coach. Having Zach Taylor, who played the position, who understands a lot about what goes into the position, played it at a high level at Nebraska.

"I'm interested in why let me hear because I have thoughts on this one. Go on. I have thoughts too. I'm just saying like, this is the one I feel the least confident about. I think if the Bengals hadn't had all the offensive line injuries, I think they were going to the Super Bowl. I think they had the best team. And in the Hamlin game, they were moving the ball. They moved the ball for a touchdown. They were moving the ball when that play happened in the GameStop. But I thought they looked really comfortable against buffalo. In a game that was important to both teams. I think they're going to be able to move the ball against them again. I was amazed by how Skylar Thompson was moving the way he had some drops, but they had receivers open all over the place. I don't love the way Josh Allen's playing. And I think this line is too high. And yet, and yet, it's the right line because they're missing their left tackle, the right tackle, the right guard. I know. And that makes me fucking nervous on the road. I don't want to play with a bad offensive line and a playoff game on the road. Baltimore's defense is far better than buffaloes. And they set the house. They're left tackle who's in now is not that big a drop off from the starter. I really don't think so. The other guys, sure, those are painful and then you see Carmen come in during the game. Yeah, Jonah, people seem pretty split on Jonah Williams. Left tackle? Yeah, but a player, you know? He can go. Buffalo is going to be a ball of emotions, could go either way. Now, I mean, I don't know if I'm breaking news. I have a feeling Hamlin's gonna play some sort of role in the pre game. I would imagine he can, he's been talking to the team every day. So let's put that out there to start this thing at 3 o'clock on a Sunday, and then you get going in this game and the nerves are either gonna be good, bad, whatever. Like, Cincinnati is, you talk about Daniel Jones not being scared. Those guys, like burrow, like those guys are coming in there and they're like, we should be in a lot better situation than we are. We got screwed by the league. We got screwed by everything. We've done everything wrong, and we're the ones who have to now play in this situation. And if we win, we're going to Kansas City. I don't know. I think that buffalo did not look good last week. I thought their offense was head scratching at times, their defense problematic for the most part against Skylar Thompson. I think Cincinnati can hang in this game. And I think everyone in America outside of Bengals fans are rooting for the bills. It's a great story. You want to see it for Josh Allen. You want to see it for that city. You want to see it for everything. But if we've learned anything, the bangles they don't care. They're coming in and they're going to play their best football. They beat the chiefs in a similar situation last year and they were down 21 to three in that game. We saw it. We lost on it. It killed us. To your point, I'm not betting against Joe burrow if I don't have to. There's a weird history with the NFL of emotional team runs. Where the 2001 paths

"And you know, the defense is solid, but since losing von Miller, you don't have the pass rush that you had. I mean, you get to play since he this weekend. And they get a backup tackle at both spots and Carmen and then 77 over on the right side. I think Ruth shows match up on the right tackle as the big one. I actually think the backup left tackle in since he did a nice job spelling Jonah Williams other than the one sack he gave up, but the bottom line is like, here's a perfect opportunity to take care of a wounded sensei team and do it in a way that you play to your strengths and you don't have von Miller. They've also had some issues at corner. I do think they were exhausted. You know, I do talking to Mitch more so my podcast this week. He talked about, you know, obviously the build center. He talked about after that patriots game. It was like everybody just could finally go to sleep. It felt like, you know, it was just like, we can go home and rest. Because I think it was a long week. It was a long week for me as a former player to watch. I know everybody kind of internalized it because I think for the first time, players and fans were on the same page where there was no blueprint for this. Usually if we see somebody go down and get carted off, there's like, we've seen this before, we're desensitized to it. Whereas this was like totally unprecedented. CPR on the field. So there were nights where I was waking up in the middle of night and checking my phone. I can only imagine being one of his close friends. Right. Yeah, absolutely. To me, that is something that perfectly with that week was like, I mean, I have zero connection to the Buffalo Bills. Obviously, I mean, I probably had never heard of I wasn't familiar with the more Hamlin before that whole thing. And that whole week you would just waiting for news. It was like, all you wanted was some news, and I know you probably went through this, you know, I do a pod, you do a pod. You don't want to do anything insensitive. You want to be on top of what's going on, and so if that's what we're going through, I can't imagine what the bill's players were going through. Incomprehensible. No question. So I do think, you know, before the injuries to Cincinnati, I thought they were the best team in the AFC. Now it's going to be interesting to see how they use quick game. How they can protect these guys, chip out a little better. Having P Ryan back there. He's a good protector. We've talked about that at times on our show is like, you know, mixing is great, but P Ron gives you something that he doesn't in past pro. And I think the bangles actually hang in there this weekend. I know the lines like kind of big. It's 5 and a lot of people are betting the bills, but I do feel like because of the bill's lack of pass rush, I'm not saying they're bad up front, but maybe they can find a way to survive. When you lose a tackle in the middle of the game, even as bad as Jonah Williams played this year, it's kind of an emergency. You're adjusting on the fly, and they've had to do that a couple of times this year.

"Now, I mean, when I think about, you know, I'm a big offensive line guy, Jake. Yeah, you are. When I think about right tackles, the right side of the line what, this is as good as it gets, that I've ever seen with my own eyes. Willie Anderson pro football Hall of Fame finalist this year finally, former Bengals offensive lineman, right tackle extraordinaire, he not only would block for the run like nobody's business. You guys didn't record that many sacks on this dude either. Willie Anderson joins us via the Goodyear hotline brought to you by Goodyear with you for every mile on the road to greatness, Goodyear, more driven, congratulations on being a finalist Willie. Thank you, Mike. Also. Wait, Willie say it again because we couldn't hear you for a second. I said, I had no idea you were a big offensive line guy. That's good to hear. All this, the whole thing. That's how you build a team. That's why he's back in the pop Warner offensive line. Dude, I think there's some watching the offensive line. Yeah, pop Warner now. Yeah, yeah, and now play pop in our offensive line. Now, what's up, mobile? What's going on? How you doing, man? Long time, no see I was the whole time. I was reminiscing about the ATL thinking about you, man. Oh, big Willie. Big wheel. Congratulations. Congratulations. Thank you very much. Everything you accomplished throughout your career, whatnot. When you look at the Bengals, your old team obviously, you know, it was good and bad times in your tenure and Cincinnati based on, you know, the playoffs and getting there and not getting there and winning the division and not winning the division. What was your expectations of Cincinnati heading into this season? Definitely supposed to be lying if we thought we saw AFC north championship. But we did think we see it improvement. Obviously, everyone was wondering what Jamar chase is going to be. A lot of us all said, we need to pick it off with the lineman and we now see in today's football having an elite receiving elite passing game, it's kind of a way to go. So no one could predict it, the unbelievable season that Chase is having and Joe was having. All with the line has held up. And the biggest thing was the turnover was in the Saxon defenses to keep the two. So those guys getting guys like Hendrix's on the defensive line and free agency was a huge thing for the people and we're seeing the pay dividends right now. Well, they got before last week's game, chiefs defensive coordinator Steve mcnally and said Joe burrow reminded him of a young Tom Brady. Whenever you say Tom Brady's name in comparison to anybody, I think that applies a lot of pressure, how fair of a comparison is that. Well, that's always a hard comparison on anyone. What time being the goat? I would likely to, with Joe Biden to me, a young Carson Palmer, a guy who came in with the moxie and the attitude and the mindset to come in and change around franchise, also having an elite arm. The things Carson did back in O four, similar to what Joe's doing right now, you know, with the whole thing about winning the division, giving guys confidence, bringing a new attitude and Cincinnati. To me, what Carson did and what Joe did right now, I think Joe's on the elite level right now. And we all hoping that one day he reaches, he does reach that Tom Brady status. We've talked about old line, you were now a finalist for the hall of fame, playing on the O line. And a lot of people thought and you mentioned moments ago talking to Willie Anderson pro football Hall of Fame finalist Bengals offensive lineman. In late 90s, you mentioned a moment ago how the game has changed, but still Willie, you need a line and the Bengals did not draft the guy people wanted them to take on the line. And yet Jonah Williams and other guys like they've been performing admirably. Do you think they're going to need help coming up in this upcoming draft on the line? Or do you like the way they're playing? Well, I do like the way they're playing. But obviously every year, everyone has to improve with talent and get better at certain positions. And I'm sure to offer the lines one of the things I'm looking at, trying to upgrade, but those guys Spain and Jonah, those guys tree Hopkins, those guys are playing an avalo this season. This has been it's been hard and sometimes and but they have held up in crucial times to give Joe protection and give him a good running game and so to me we've got to play better than expected, but I'm sure people want to go in and break in some more talent. But you got to give those guys a lot of credit. They've done up against some tough defenses this season against the ravens. Kansas City took out the hill of their own and allowed Joe those guys to put up big points. Willing, when I look back at it, I thought the bingo should have selected penne Sue to obviously solidify the offensive line. They moved on from that and decided to take on a receiver from LSU and Jamar chase. How impressed have you been with Jamar chase rookie season thus far? It's been unbelievable, man. I mean, about weeks 5, we all started wondering like when teams are going to start double team this kid. They were literally leaving the one on one and he was just tortured DBs. So to see that, we all see I was one of the ones too that was kicking off with the line into. But again, like I said, in today's NFL, you know, you can go put up a small fence around your quarterback. But give me receivers, you know, he turns the league up, but no one can predict the record said, well, except Jamar, Jamar said, he came on and said, NFL records. And people tell me, you know, irritated by The Rookie saying that, but he said it and he did it and true to receive was form of having that kind of moxie and attitude he did his thing, man. It's been impressive and it's also been record setting. Willie, how much of that do you think is because they played in school together and had that built in chemistry Joe burrow and Ja'Marr chase? I think you're pleased. I think it's individual and you got two great players that if Jamar chase played with another really good quarterback, you probably did the same thing if Joe Biden played with another good receiver for the same thing as you can see him do the same thing with TK is a boy and these guys but having that connection if they said if they said me something to him, you know, we all take it for their word and it means having that history together definitely has been showing that it's helped them out this season. Really a big game over the weekend watching the bucks beat the jets and a big time comeback. But what are your thoughts on Antonio Brown walking off the field shirtless? It's definitely worth a crazy visual bro that everybody on social media from barbershops, everybody had to change his own people. I think the visual of that is crazy, but I think like when you saw Tom's information of them caring about him and wanted to get him help, I think it's kind of everybody's mindset right now. I think trying to figure out what was it that led to that moment. You know, that some of them would never know about it, but visual of that was crazy as hell. Just seeing it for the first time. Have you started crying yet, man? 'cause, you know, you're a finalist for the pro football Hall of Fame. How many

"Ballpark buns on the Bengals radio network. Plain box filler with you, and it's the Cincinnati Bengals opening game against the Minnesota Vikings. End up Joe Burrow is looking forward to a big game today, and I tell you what Jonah Williams is going to help make that happen. He's coming into his third season and been entrusted. With the left side of that offensive line are Dan who had caught up with him and this week's walls. Business Solution Player interview. Jonah You are noticeably bigger this year based on training camp and 20 snaps and preseason games. Can you tell if bigger is better? And if so, why? I think so. I feel I feel good. It's hard to tell if that's due to technique or if that's you know the weight and strength helping out, but I think it's definitely been a good thing to put on a little bit of weight. It's not a huge sample size, but you were involved in 11 pass blocking snaps in the preseason games and did not allow any pressures, at least according to pro football focus. You're blocking against chase young on several of those plays. How do you feel? You did. I think I You know, I'm happy with how I played. But as a person who wants to get better, You know, that's what that's what we practiced for. And that's what the seasons for, Um, you know, so I think I did well, but I'm looking to get a little bit better. It's your third season. But really, it's your second because you were injured in year one. How much different do you feel going into this year than you did a year ago? I feel a lot different. I feel a lot better. Um, You know the game moves a little bit slower, as they say. I think it just takes a lot of game reps to start to get used to it. Um, you know, playing in the NFL is a big challenge, So the more experience you have and more comfortable year a going out there. Uh, you know, the more successful likely going to have we're chatting with Jonah Williams. So in Frank Pollock was brought back as the offensive line coach in early January. Did you guys talk over the phone? Did you meet? How did you begin forming relationship? Yeah, I was back here forbidden the off season. You know, just getting my knee signed off on and checked out everything like that from from the end of the season. You know, so I was able to see coach and talking, get a feel for how he operates. And you know what is you know what his attitude is like, and you know, really appreciate him as a coach and have enjoyed, you know all the time we spent together so far. In addition to having a new position coach, you've got a 10 year vet on the opposite side of the offensive line and Riley Reef. Is that almost like having another coach. Hey, it is, you know Riley's Riley's played a lot of football and he knows what he's talking about. So it's good to hear that, you know you have the coach perspective and, you know, obviously Coach Pollock also played in the NFL for for a while, So you have that inside and then you have Rallies played so long and you know, I'm playing next to Q and Quentin and we have trade too, so play next to a lot of guys and eggs will play a lot of football, So I think we're definitely an experience, you know, this year. Riley is roughly the same size as you are. He's not one of these 67 £340 kind of guys does that make his information even more helpful? I think so. For sure. Um, you know, I think there's similarities in our games and You know, obviously, like you said, in the in terms of just pure size, and that everything we're pretty close, So I think that it adds an element. You know, we kind of the same toolbox so He says something works for him. Then it's likely to work for me. I'm interested in your intel on a guy on the opposite side of the ball. Trey Hendrickson, who came in as a free agent 13.5 sacks last year, with the Saints to tie for second best in the NFL. You've had to block him a lot in training camp. What stands out You know, he's a He's a great player, and I think the thing that stands out most is his speed is upfield. Speed is ability to get upfield and put pressure on the tackle to, you know, give depth so you can protect And also his motor. You know, he's a guy who's going to keep on trying move, swiping hands, and even if you beat him on the first thing, he's going to keep on trying. And you know, I don't know any snaps. He's played, but it felt like every snap. I was watching the preseason was getting pressure. So Um, you know, it's been good battling with him all camp and I think we've made each other better. The last time we saw you last year on the field, it did not look good. I think most of us assumed that you had a torn A C l or something of that magnitude. When you went down in the Miami game, two games after Joe Burrows injury did you fear the worse at that time? I did, Uh, you know, I felt the same thing that you guys saw. I felt somebody flying into my knee from the side. You know, felt some issues in my knees, So I was pretty pretty happy to hear that. You know, when the MRI results came back that it wasn't as serious as I thought, so it allowed me to Go in the off season rehab it and then for the vast majority of the offseason. I've been 100% training at full speed, and I think that that's been beneficial to mine. Uh, growth this year, so you open against the Vikings. You're going to be matched up against one of the NFL's premier pass rushers in Daniel Hunter he missed last year the neck injury, But before that, back to back seasons of 14.5 sacks. You study these guys? What stands out about him? I think he's really balanced Russia. That's the first thing I noticed, is he, You know, he has a little bit of everything, and he's good. Everything he does is not just the speed guys, not just the power guy. It's not just the technique. I kind of You know, combines all of that, and he's a versatile player. Um, you know, that's that's the NFL every single week pretty much for playing a premier pass rusher. And so that that's the challenge for this week is to is to handle him and, you know I'm I feel good about this online room and I feel good going into practice that we're.

"We're getting lots of professional opinions, and we're going to go to the phones a little bit later. Get your opinion on the question, Which is the question of the night for our guest. Right? Our guest is Joe Dannenmann. Fox 19 now Sports guy. Jody, What's going on tonight? What's up, Chief? How are you? I'm doing okay, man I'm doing okay. So just to let you know now I'm not. I'm not trying to You know, taint your thought process or have you lean in a certain direction? But we we had Paul Dougherty on first figuring that maybe you might crescendo a little upward in the optimism category. Maybe I don't know. We'll find out we shall see, because it's more thought. The question simply is this If not now, when, and that has to do with you see football. It has to do with the Reds in the hunt. It has to do with the optimism around the Bengals this Sunday and beyond. If not now, when. Man. That is an interesting question well framed. So let's take these one at a time and I'll start with the Bangles because you have about them less. I go into Sunday with more questions than I do answers for this football team, and I don't think that bodes well. For the upcoming season. Now I do think will be improved on what they were the last two years, which is six wins in the last two seasons, so I think they're going to be better. I just think the problem is they play in the division that is very talented. And loaded with good organizations. And so I think it's going to be an uphill battle all season long for the for the language to get out of the bottom of the sea north, but the Reds Now the Reds back to me is a coin flip of them making the playoffs. You say if not now, when I do wonder if better. Things are coming in the future, Although I know the big question hanging over this organization is the future of Nick Castellanos and the different teeth made this season. Obviously to this team has been massive. But I do think with the horses that are coming from Triple A in the form of Hunter Green, Nikola Dolo and even the young shortstop Ferrero, I think has a big future for the red, So I do think That one. I want to temper a little bit. If not now, when? Because even if they don't make it this year, even if they do make it, guys, we don't expect them to go very far. Right. Agree? Absolutely. Yep. Or the Giants. Either way, two teams that are better than them, But still, yeah, just getting the playoffs would would be a great boost. If not now, when applies most to me with the U. C football team. And you see athletic program. Obviously, the urgency of what we expect to hear. Tomorrow is big time with them. Getting into the big 12 would be just a great great moment for this athletic department. And this football team, especially because I think once you get to that kind of status as a conference, then you stop asking the questions about Luke Fickell leaving and I think whatever has to be done to keep him here. He's been that much of a difference maker for this for this program, and I think that's a big big indicator that he would probably state and see for a while. When they do get to the big 12 Joe Danamon from Fox 19. Sports is our guest, and I'm going to take you back. And I'm not going to argue with any of those three assessments, But I will ask you curiously, from a Bengal standpoint, if you had to give me perhaps The three questions. You mentioned questions, and I tend to agree with you and usually do when it comes to Bangles from the standpoint of more questions seemingly than answers. What do you think are kind of the key questions? Besides Joe Burrows health? I mean, obviously, Joe, that's the biggest one. You know what we look like. Can he stay healthy? Can they protect them? That's the one that everybody will be sitting on pins and needles. Every Sunday. What are some of the other questions that you think? Make this year? Maybe a little bit better, but still not that good. So the three questions that you asked. I think we can answer two of the three questions that are in my head, and I don't think there's anything that dangles could have done in the off season to answer. What is the third question and I'll start with that one. The question is, is Zach Taylor, head coach. Material in the NFL. It's he that kind of a caliber of coach. I don't think we can answer that. I don't think there's anything the Bangles could have done in the off season from roster. Um, you know standpoint. To make me think Jack Taylor could be the guy going forward. I don't know if he is, I don't know if he's set better to be an offensive coordinator or an assistant coach. I just don't know exact. Taylor. Is the guy going forward for this team as the head coach very well might be. I just don't know if we can answer that question in the off season. The other two questions I had in the off season. I still believe they remain unanswered. One is the defense any good? I have no idea. I just know this in the NFL. You win games by sacking the quarterback. This team lost Carl loss and they brought in. Trey Hendrickson, Quite a splash season last year, had a great season big number season, but does he have the pedigree? To do that repeatedly and earn the money. The bankers are going to be investing in him here in the next few years. I just don't know if the Bengals have the depth of that position if they have the tablet at that position. To be difference makers and be better because they're sack numbers were abysmal last season and a big reason their defense wasn't good. So that's the question I hope to have answered. Before the season started. I don't think that question's been answered. I just don't think they're markedly better. Defensively. The other one is is their offensive line. Better enough that you can put to bed the fears of Joe Burrow being protected, Adding Riley Reid helps Jonah Williams being healthy and seasoned a little more help..

"That. First of all, he got to move on from Bob Bratkowski as his offensive coordinator. And if Mormon, Lewis wore out his welcome, Bratkowski sure did then, too. Committed to not bringing Carson Palmer back. They were just going to let him sit and snu. Goes out drafts. Dalton drafts green. All of a sudden you got five playoff teams did. Marvin won a playoff game here? No, we know that. But we also know He had some pretty good teams and pretty good run along the way. So 2015 rolls around. You know, the Bengals are still cooking. They make the playoffs, but they make the decision to move on from Andrew Whitworth and Kevin Zeitler, and they think that said Drago Boy, he Who was that cat's name that they drafted in the second round. Fisher, right? They thought those two guys were going to be life after Zettler and and, uh and Whitworth and those two guys couldn't block the door. I'm shocked that old boy he is still in the league. 2017. They took John Ross John Ross. Think about that. John Ross might be the biggest whith in draft history, and they've had some whiffs. Dude was so bad that his last year here they were putting him at cornerback in practice to see if they could salvage him. There couldn't run routes couldn't remember routes didn't fight for contested balls. Now, listen. This dude may go to New York with the Giants and light it up. Don't think so. Why did up Billy Price, another guy? Happen to think Billy Price is going to be a good player this year for a number of reasons. It's his contract year. And he's reunited with the guy that was here when he was drafted. Frank Pollock. Frank Pollock is the offensive line coach. I think he's the X factor on this team. Think this offensive light is going to be better because they've added wryly Reef and Jackson Carmen. I think it's going to be better because I think Jonah Williams is going to be a much better player under Pollock. Trey Hopkins. Hopefully, sounds like he's going to be okay with his knee will see Camp opens here in about three weeks. But I think Pollock is the guy that makes that different. Now in in Zach Taylor's case, he had a chance to hang on to Frank Pollock and decided not to. We brought in Jim Turner. And that was that did not work out well. But I look at what I look at what he's dead. So far in in going In those two seasons 6 25 and one I look at that. And I said, Okay, the first year it was Marvin Lewis Group, right. He had a lot of guys that were on the back nine. And slowly and surely he weeded those players out Now the team didn't play well. We got to last year. We get to last year they draft Joe Burrow. Everybody's excited about Joe Burrow Cus the year before sucked, and we all knew that Andy Dalton wasn't going to be the answer. Quite frankly, Andy Dalton should have not been the answer. For 2017 on I should have taken Patrick Mahomes, but that's all different story. Well, No, I know that Dalton was their starting quarterback in 2017. But where was he in 2019 there there 56 games in the season. He's benched. They're going with Ryan Finley. But they draft and it all. And so all of a sudden that offense takes on a different dimension, and the team takes on a different feel. Now they they lost to the Chargers in the opener, Miss Field goal by Randy Bullock. They play the Browns close. They play Brown's within five. They have that overtime game with Philadelphia, which was a disaster, but it's at Philly. Had a chance to win that. They beat Jacksonville they had no shot at Baltimore. They put 21 up on Indianapolis and then they run out of gas, and they wound up losing 31 27. Cleveland comes here. They lose by three the go back to Paul Brown Stadium and beat the Titans. Okay, Steelers beat them. They get two week 11. Week 11. And I remember this because everybody at this radio station that does a sports show was saying the same thing. Before the Washington game. Hey, Washington. Washington was no good. The Giants were pathetic. The Dolphins were struggling. It was at Miami. There was going to be a tough game, but it was the Dolphins. Then the Cowboys. The Cowboys were horrible. So you're looking at going into that Washington game. You got four games four games. And you're thinking of yourself with Joe Burrow. There's a really good chance they could win three of those four, maybe all four. But we know what happened to burrow in Washington. So You go back and you look at a team. That finished last year 4 11 and one You take three losses away. Now, all of a sudden, you got eight losses. You put three losses to the good Now all of a sudden, you're 781. Does this conversation even happen? If Joe Burrow is under center, answering the bell. From the Washington game forward. I don't I don't I don't think it even happens, but what happens with a lot Of national writers. Is that they look at a situation and they apply universal logic to it. And universal logic. When it comes to the 10 year of a head coach for the Cincinnati Bengals does not apply or Marvin Lewis would have been gone in 2008. He would have been gone in 2017. But what if the Bengals are nothing? When they come to their head coaches. They are patient. And so I can't see. Unless this team absolutely tanks this year, and I don't see that happening. I think Pittsburgh I think is the pits. I think that team they got good defense. I think that team is going to struggle mightily to score points. You've got a quarterback pushing 40 you have you think the offensive line here was bad last year? They have no offensive line. None that three starters go either to free agency or retirement. They're they're cooked. I think on offense. Yeah, they drafted a running back in in the first who's going to block for him? I don't think the Bengals are going to tank. I actually think the Bengals are going to be more than competitive. I think the Browns and the Ravens when it's all said, and done are going to be slugging it out for The A F C North. But I don't think you're going to see another two win season here. 31 season so exact Taylor Can take what he's gotten. And flip it around. And instead of winning just four games, maybe the guy win 78. He's coming back. Because he has Joe Burrow. He has a much better offensive line coach. His defense on the offensive on the defensive line, especially has been the entire defense has been rebuilt. But look what they've done on the defensive line. FC North's a tough division. And it's not going to be eagle. Easy to eek out wins. This is the time of the year when you hear a lot of people, particularly national people Talk about something hot seats this scene. Marvin Lewis is on the hot seat so much when he was here. So many times from so many writers swear the guy had to get skin grafts on his rear end..

We're gonna open back up. I think that's kind of what he said s o. We're following that story as well. Of course, the Bangles coming off. What I would say is a pretty damn good draft weekend. We know that the offensive and defensive lines are terrible last season don't have to tell you that their last the Athlon sacks. That Joe Burrow went down with the injury pressured like 200. Times, 48 something sacks this weekend. They got a lot of help. Joining me on the show's Mo Eggar afternoons. 3 to 6 on ESPN. 15 30, Mo. Overall, How do you rate the draft of the Bangles? Pretty good and and that seems to be the consensus. You know, I'm interested in the Jackson Carmen selection. A local kid the Bangles of the 38th pick a lot of this kind of expected Kevin Jenkins and offensive lineman. There would be the obvious pick, but that, Taylor said we would have taken him a 38. They felt good about your chances of getting him and 46. They add another pick in the fourth round to be able to get him. He had some predraft issues from, you know, from the standpoint of his back, flaring up a little bit, But there's a lot of people who think his upside will make him the best interior offensive lineman in this draft. When you look what they did from a pure need standpoint, they added. Explosiveness and Jim are chase they needed to address the offensive line. They did that in round two. And then a couple of edge rushers with their next two picks. Plus, I'll Be honest with you, the guy who I think is maybe most intriguing is Chris Evans running back for Michigan. Not an insignificant pick. Given the injury history with Joe Mixon and the fact that Giovanni Bernard is no longer here. I think the Bangles had a really good weekend. All right, well, let's look at these Jackson Carmen, the offensive tackle from plants and coming back home. Fairfield High School product to all sorts of award winning play from him here, too, But you know, we got Jonah Williams got rightly Reef. He's a tackle. Probably, you know he'll begin his current Cincinnati is a guard. Let's put it that way way. People have talked about the Whitworth plan. The Andrew Whitworth plan. We saw it executed here to the extent that Andrew is probably going to be, you know, at least given really strong consideration for the Hall of Fame. He started his career. As a guard in Cincinnati, and in fact, even if you remember his rookie season, they had to move in the tackle lately year because of injuries and it didn't go so well, but that guard he was really, really good. And then ultimately they moved in the tackle, where he's played at a high level for a decade and a half. I could see that holding with with Jackson Carmen, I could also see them. Looking at him and going. Yeah, he's doing well, a guard Let's address tackle next year. Maybe they could extend Wiley Reef, but he does give them some versatility does give them some flexibility. And in the short time, that was the likely plan, right, like we talked about the Bangles maybe taking today school had they done that. I'm not sure it would have involved him playing tackle. It certainly could have. They could have kicked Riley Reef inside. But it always felt like if they took an offensive lineman regardless of where that player had played, at least most of their Snaps in college. They were going to take that guy and move into the inside. And it feels like that's what they're gonna do with Jackson. Carmen. Okay, Good. You go from that round three 69th. Overall. Joseph Asai out of Texas. Here's your edge rusher. My motive. And you read that time and again high motor guy that you know what they lost Carl Lawson to the Jets this offseason, so They all said it a little bit by bringing in Troy Hendricks and in free agency not as good of a player as Carl Lawson. But what you read about aside is explosive athlete. Biggest strength. Pff Pro football focused raft guide raves about his motor and athleticism about effort and a guy who can make an impact early as a rotational pass rusher, and that's look that's what the Bangles are looking for. Right. You're looking at what they had with Trey Hendrickson and Sam Hubbard. Hoo! Ah, lot of people expect a big year from you're looking for somebody they could throw in on the edge to rotate in, and you could look it, Joseph, aside from that standpoint, and then the very next pick was an edge rushers. They took three edge guys in the draft. Now you know what chances that white Hubert has to make the team their seventh round pick, You know, I don't know. But clearly they saw that you thought last year they took three linebackers. They knew they had a need a linebacker clearly on defense all the work they did in the second. Only the best pass rusher is no longer here..

"All reached that point where we could look back and say, Yeah, we did it. I'm not sure what we did, but, yeah, they did it. Welcome to the long next bar and grill draft show. It's presented by a door and window. They sell the best and they service the rest. So there we are. There. We are down the road after a draft. You know, there's there's two things you can count on. Every single draft weekend one. There will be more Bs flying from the analyst on television than it any other time during the year except in a presidential election year. Every player traded drafted has great explosion. Great handwork good value. I mean, it's just if every player was as great as these guys tell them to be, every team would be 17 and oh, The other thing you can count on on draft weekend is people will be quick to criticize. Well, they should have done this in round one when I was 1/4 round pick. Why did they? Why did they dragged him in the second round? They could've waited gotten him in the fourth row. Nobody knows. Nobody knows the draft is kind of like you go into it with a plan. And the minute the draft starts, You could pretty much tear that plan up after you get by the 1st. 10 picks herself And if you notice what happened yesterday, it was a lot of trading a lot of back and forth, particularly in the early moments of round number four. So you got to be on your toes. Whatever you planned on going in, will certainly change at some point, and it did for all the teams in every single NFL city yesterday. But more closely watched for us. Of course on the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals needed offensive linemen. They needed linemen that could come in and add debt, but they needed alignment that could come in and at some point and quickly start They needed somebody that could blow the top off the other guys. Defensive secondary. They didn't have it. They haven't had it since. Really a J. Green? Maybe three or four years ago. The other thing they needed to do was sure up a defense that was riddled with injury last year and get a little more pressure off the edge. No, I don't believe in grades. I'm not gonna grade. It's not my job. I'm not gonna sit here and put a great out for all 32 teams, and a lot of it is mine. Candy. Ah, lot of it is the stuff that you look at him. You say Okay, well, it didn't look like they did all that well on draft day or it looks like they hit it out of the park on draft day. It really doesn't matter, Does it? Until everybody gets on the field fully opener in September, and until then it is what it's been since attempt since really since since January, 1st It's it's lip flapping for every team that didn't make the playoffs and lip flapping every day since the Super Bowl, So let's see how it all works out. It would seem that the national pundits People who get paid to gray. The people who get paid to look at all 32 teams. It would seem like the Bangles did Okay and in some cases, maybe better than expected. First things first. They had to address their offensive line. We know that We know that they brought in Riley Reef. We know that they hopefully of trade Hopkins coming back from devastating knee injury and surgery. We know that they have Jonah Williams, who Seems to be a left tackle. It is going to be there for a long time. They signed a couple of guards here. They plugged a guard in there. They're hoping that Billy Price can be reclaimed and have some semblance of an NFL career. Remember, they didn't pick up his option for his fifth season. So they're not convinced he's going to be around or valuable after this year. This is a big prove it year for Billy Price, but once you got by Jonah Williams, hopefully he'll trade Hopkins and Riley Reef. A lot of question marks along that offensive line and a lot of players quite frankly, that were on the field at various stages of the season last year, who should not have been on the field? So that was a gold going in now it got down to pin a soul or Jim are chasing around one. I was a guy who said they should draft Sewell. I was going chalk simply because I think you need building blocks building blocks that are going to be there for the next 5 to 7 years, But okay, they didn't do it. They chose Chase. I also said that either one of those guys were going to be a wonderful first round draft pick. And either one of those guys were going to be a difference maker if they came to the Bangles, But the question is, did the Bangles address the problems that they had along their offensive line and problems that have been chronic with that team? Really, since the departure? Of Kevin's Eichler and Andrew and Andrew Whitworth. Here is Zach Taylor at the end of the draft, talking about whether or not they addressed what they needed to get done in the draft specifically for their offensive line. We certainly created a lot of competition there, you know, and again that that thing goes over to both sides, the ball is adding depth at adding competition there. We got a lot of guys that I like being around. You know, guys that we had in the building guys that we just adding to the building and free agency in the draft. Is that love football and guys, we want to compete and are going to shy away from it, and we'll see how a lot of things shake out for us, but just really excited about the competition. We're gonna have a bull sides of on Jackson. Carmen was an excellent pick. It was an excellent pick. I think he's got some things. He's got to work on every single player, probably after the 1st 10 that were drafted have things they have to work on. But he's very young. He's a local kid. I think that was a pretty good selling point. Actually, somebody who went from Peewee football high school college and back to Cincinnati. I know that that doesn't translate too much on the field, but I think I think it serves a purpose. The second thing About Jackson. Carmen is he's extremely athletic. Watch enough claims and games last year to know that the guy is kind of like a basketball player. In football players close Now he would be a massive basketball player on any court and he has a massive man, but he has that athleticism that allows him to move. It allows him to change directions. He'll probably started guard. That's where they think he can play. But he also has the ability to slide outside. So you got Jackson Carmen. You've got Jamaar Chase as the draft unfolded through the course of three nights, you also at least from the bangle standpoint, they picked up a center and trade hill out of Georgia. They picked up a running back. A kid was with a little bit of a troubled past, but still a very strong talent. Picked himself off the turf dusted himself off and Chris Evans had a very nice, very nice finish to his career at Michigan running back And they signed some unrest. Undrafted free agents that will help them along the way, too. If you watched Big 10 football. Last season. Riley Lees is a terrific wide receiver, Northwestern kid. So they've done all of that, In addition to what they have coming back, let's not forget that the the perimeter players the offensive weapons..

"We close in on Xavier's basketball talk with atom bomb from the Enquirer, and you'll hear from Barry Larkin coming up in about 25 minutes or so. Just after the seven o'clock news I am I'm looking on Twitter at Lance McAllister, Twitter feed presented by Bar records three locations during the Kentucky We love barley corns. And I see the following in my question about Panay Sul, but a soul fill in the blank after that, Eric 10, plus year book End for Borough Andrew, Run to the podium. Tyler Jamaar Chase. Ah, Tyler pray he's available. Today. School, Uh, Rick on Twitter. Refers to put a stool as the Samoan Moon Joo's John on Twitter, Future Hall of Famer. And I see Joe Danamon Fox 19. He has written on a post it note and taking a picture and send it to me. And it says, Skill position, no matter what. And that is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. There seems to be no. There's no sitting on the fence. Now I'm not when it comes to open a school. I'm not sitting on the fence. But my problem to this point has been. I found myself jumping back and forth because I have found myself making the case in my head for open a school. I will admit that more often than not, I found myself talking myself out of police school for a variety of reasons. Um, he's on one hand. He's he's 20. He didn't play football this year. He missed about half his freshman year because of an ankle injury. I think today school has played 21 games in his entire college career. And yet Pardon me. Believes That at 20. And with Frank Polich here, there is a case to be made for the the analogy to be made of a a block of clay and give this block of clay Still 20 years old. An unproven block of clay. Give that to Frank Polich and let him mold and shape him without a whole lot of time to have developed bad habits already let him be shaped and molded into the offensive lineman in the vision of Frank Polich. And then say, son, you're over on this side. Um, do this for the next decade, and he looks down the line at the other entity. It kind of leans his head back, and he sees Jonah Williams and they say, all right, let's do this. And that's kind of exciting, but at the same time I have flashes of Cedric. Oh, boy, he I have flashes of Jake Fisher. I have flashes of Jonah Williams and I refer back to what Skinny road and it's one of the reasons I brought him on. And he wrote a couple of weeks ago for local 12 dot com. Again. He looked at how the playoff teams had constructed their offensive lines. Of the 40 offensive lineman starting in the playoffs this year. Six. Six were first round picks by their current team. Let me give you the rundown and some other teams Buffaloes offensive line. Here's where the players were selected. Round 2424 undrafted free agent. Baltimore Ravens this year, their offensive line their starters drafted in round three. 346 Undrafted free agent. Green Bay Packers third round, fifth round, second round fifth round. And an undrafted free agent. I'll give you one more of the Rams 2nd 2nd 5th 2nd 7th. No first rounders there. Tampa Bay Buccaneers his skinny referenced that they're Super Bowl starting lineup. Offensive line. It was 2nd 2nd 1st 6th undrafted. In fact, we we talked about this. I think it was like we could go tonight. While we discuss this because the tape of Bay Buccaneers, another starting offensive line have to division two players in a division three player. So I'll ask this again and I've got the lines open at 5137491 7800 the big £1.700 on a TNT pin a sul What is somebody they can't possibly afford to pass on today. Soul is somebody who Scares you at this point based on this organization's inability to identify stout draft and develop offensive lineman or I mean, it is awfully difficult to pass up. Somebody like Jamaar Chase. Had wide receiver and pairing with Joe Burrow in this offense, is it not? But again, it's that the first round's gonna come and go. And if they don't draft an offensive lineman, you know what's gonna happen. Then the second round's gonna come and then the third round is going to come. And then there's rounds that following around 45 and six and Oh, by the way, starting one month from tomorrow. His free agency. Just I find myself more firmly on the other side of the Panay Sewell fence, and I say if you've got the money Go get me something that is proven. That's been there done that. Especially in a season. Where Joe Burrow, We're gonna need it. The most difficult thing in this coming season is gonna be watching Joe Burro drop back to pass because let's admit it right now, Every time he drops back to pass, we're gonna hold her breath. And do you really want You really wanna run the scenario through your head? Do it right now. Off police school. Who hasn't played since January of 2019 the bowl game. The learning curve that comes with that. And today Sul on this offensive line with Joe Burrow. Verses, a known proven commodity that you've bought in free agency. On that offensive line. Paired with Jonah Williams and maybe a B level free agent. Let's assume they go a level free agent and get either a guard or a tackle and then B level to get the other. I just I can't convince myself that today soul is is all that and all due respect. Everybody comparing him to Anthony Moody was my goodness. He didn't play last year. How the heck would you know if he's history? Buzios or not, But I guarantee you this Most everybody other than Mel Kiper, who's chosen to compare a mint Anthony mood. EOS and ideas say the same thing to bill he didn't play last year. So his body of work is what And that doesn't mean his body of work ultimately won't be Anthony MOOD. EOS But I'm I'm already holding my breath on Joe Burrow. I'd like something. I don't need to hold my breath on in terms of who I add to the offensive line, and that would be through free agency and ultimately, we're going to know because free agency is going to come before the draft. So we're going to know what their efforts were like to add often an offensive lineman or offensive linemen in free agency, and that will dictate a large part what you're gonna do it number five. I just I can't. I can't stay in one spot here and I'm more inclined to be on the side of the fence and looks over and says you guys sure you want in a school? Go to the folks. 5137491 7800 the big one in pounds 700 on a TNT have got to stop the sale. Chad. Welcome to sports talk. What do you make of all this? You 100% have to get a skill player in the draft. Spend the money on the proven free agents. And then later rounds. You get the free you get the draft all linemen to replace two guys. You stand the free to see the two or three year deals. You have Frank Polich Groom them guys up. You cannot take again. We've been through this road before. Every, you know. I mean, you get the proven guys. Did you know where they're successful in the NFL draft the guys for their replacements. Let them coach him up. I just don't see how you can pass up something. You need a proven you just can't gamble with jumper anymore. They've done that. You cannot do that. In my opinion. You have to get guys Proven in the NFL and spend the money and get him another weapon. That's what you have to do in my opinion. Yeah, I think it makes a lot of sense. I mean, the last night chair I think was Dane Brugler is top 100. He had 10 offensive tackles and his top 100 players. There are going to be other offensive lineman who don't go in the first round. Who will be available to hand, too? If we're if we're calling Frank Polich, the guru and the Bengals answer to Derrick Johnson is a Reds pitching coach who could take things and build him up and get the best out of them. That I'm willing to trust Frank Polich identifying somebody beyond a first round offensive lineman. And I will, I would run to the podium to get Jamaar Chase right now to stick him. Can you imagine Jamaar Chase and Tyler Boyd and T. Hagen's with a competent offensive line behind in front of Joe Burrow? Holy town and keep in mind last time? You know, the whole thing would burrow Admission is the last time he laid. Yes,.

"It was that was the story of the game was Tampa Bay's front four. We talked about it a week ago. At the base front four against that depleted Kansas City offensive line. It was very it was, it was sort of burrow ask, you know, there were times this year. We're burro would catch the snap and you would go God, he's going to get killed, and I kind of felt that way about Patrick home last Sunday. Speaking of NFL Now that we're fully into the offseason, the Bangles was some new coaching hires. They have they Bangles. I believe this is my prediction, Mo and tell me if you think this is a possibility That by All By the time they're playing again, the Bengals will have a new assistant coach for everybody on the roster. It is interesting how coaching staff have. What about this? Too Many cooks spoil this the stew. I mean, it's just like 20 assistant coaches now. You know, I don't I don't know that that Ah, terrible thing. You know, I don't I mean, look, it's it's kind of a league trend where the game is so specialized. But why wouldn't that be reflected by your coaching staff? Right? Like you know, this isn't it's not 1962 where Ah, linebacker was playing on every single play or a defensive lineman was playing on everything of Let me know you legitimately have players who come in and play and serve one purpose. So if you're gonna have specialization among your players, you're certainly going to see that in your coaching staff, But they the interesting one of the offensive line coach, because, uh, Frank Pollack was here in 2018 and Joe Megson had his best season behind a Frank Polich offensive line and you know, there's there's the obvious. You know, sort of goal of the off season, which is to go get the best offensive lineman available in free agency And maybe the draft, But the Kansas City thing the Super Bowl Illustrated. You know your your death, right? Your death has to be better. You have to do better because you're gonna have injuries on the offensive line. That speaks to meet a couple of different things, the ability to kind of identify. You know, guys who are diamonds in the rough that you could plug and play and be okay, but also your coaching. You know, Jonah Williams came to the NFL more refined than Akeem and energy who was taken in the sixth round. So how does the coaching, you know? Get a came and energy to a place? Where is he has to play? At some point, he will. If he has to play, he doesn't get your quarterback killed. And so that to me the coordinators of the same the head coach is obviously the same. You know that they have a new running backs coach stuff like that. But the one that I think has the chance to make the biggest impact of the offense of line coach. Quick shots. Mo Bear Cats last night with a victory a temple how they look They're getting better. You know, they're getting better defensively, Some of the young guys stepped up. Zack Harvey hadn't played in over a month. Set the tone in the first half. Jeremiah Davenport from Mueller gave him some energy and some outside shooting and a pretty nice performance by the 7. Ft one Chris Vote three straight wins for the Bear Cats. All right, Xavier Place today versus Yukon. And what's on the block? No, I did an interview with Super Bowl champion went in Woods and Kentucky product, Mike Edwards. Fantastic. Listen, have a wonderful day and seriously contemplate the flamethrower. We could go in together. It only be about 33 20 person and we could just share the flamethrower. And that way we'd get multiple use out of it. You know, I'm in its You know, now that I know I can get attacked my weeds with it, Uh, shortly, and the one I saw online is like a handheld. It's not like a big, monstrous contraption. Try to light like light a cigar with it. We'll see how that could. Thanks, Milo. Take care. Mike Allen up next right now. Probably Gen. $6..

"Joe Burrow. They have a franchise quarterback. They're probably and people think you're crazy when you say this, but they're probably about four good players away from being competitive. You get reader back and he's healthy. You get the secondary back and it's healthy. If you can go if you go by a guard by a tackle, drafted tackle, maybe draft another defensive. A guy for the secondary. You're I think you're on the road to recovery there, But you don't have to spend some money. You have to spend some money, but also can we can't keep drafting these guys and then not having them develop me on paper. You know the surgical blades the world? Sure, there have been a lot of teams. That may have. That's an interesting question to see how that all is all gonna work out, but and that is was It wasn't a bad pick or was the player just not developed from day one here And so somewhere? He's in Jacksonville. Jackson may be well and Billy Price. Okay, Billy Price was allegedly this can't miss prospect Well, that Ohio State well, he's looking. He's looking like a with John Ross. Absolute with Yeah, in General Williams. I mean, we haven't He's been hurt kind of her right one year and even last year, some, too. So that's it. The development side of it is something that I think is greatly overlooked. Everybody says we gotta draft this guy got a draft that But you have to develop what's but still when you look at the Bangles with Borough, you got every franchise quarterback. They got one. He has people to throw, too. He is a terrific running back. He has Jonah Williams, who's OK. It left tackle. Maybe Little bit hair better than that. If Trey Hopkins is healthy and can play it center, he's got him. They need immunity. There's three different starting offensive lineman and maybe a player, too on defense. But it's addressable. It's not like you've got it overhaul the entire team, especially when you have the most important piece. You have the quarterback. Now he's got a road to recovery and it xprize the fullest. I think he's going to be 100% weak one, but the most important pieces there And there's a lot of other great pieces I mean tea. Higgins is a fantastic pick last year, so that that's that's a good thing. A lot of good things, but the offense of line. We all know this. We've known this for years, but not only do the Bangles have to open up the pocketbook, but they gotta identify the right guys, and then they got to develop them. Develop them. Once they draft make the work doesn't stop. It just starts. It's just beginning to start. When you draft that player. They've got to be developed. All right, well, I could proud a lot, but I want to get you and Eddie in here. You guys have a great show? Maybe we'll visit again tomorrow. "Zac's answer was and you can understand him taking this approach wanted. Unlike making predictions, he said. We certainly have to get a lot better in a lot of areas in Windsor number one. I'm really excited about this off season in the work we're going to put in to make sure our team improves and put all these pieces together. To have a great year. That's our expectation. We had those expectations this year and we had opportunities, so it's on us to make sure we make the most of those opportunities this year. What has to happen in 2021 to view the season as its success? Well, in no particular order? Well, I'll start with the most important job. Burroughs got to be healthy. And then Joe Burrows. Gotta be kept healthy. He's gonna be kept standing up, clean protected, protect the investment. They're gonna have to figure out a way to pressure the quarterback get pressure on the quarterback in some way, shape or form they're going to have to if I can backtrack one. If they're going to do that, with Joe, That's obviously going to be what everybody is viewing the most important factor in the offseason addressing the offensive line in the draft in free agency, perhaps both they're gonna have to take some swings and they can't be swings and misses and free agency. They have to be swings and they have to be extra base hits in free agency. I'm not so sure it doesn't have to. The first one doesn't have to be a home run in free agency, and they're gonna have to take some swings and deliver extra base hits in the draft again. His team won two games two years ago. Four games this year in answering the question what has to happen in 2021? For exact view? The season is a success. If all of those air done all of those must be done, and then success will be a winning season as the first step beyond that, If it's nine or 10 wins, the rest is out of your control in terms of Whether you're gonna make the playoffs or not, But there's a lot of interesting questions inside of all of that, and I hit on someone with J, including William Jackson, third or Carl Lawson. Everybody wants the Bangles to go big and go bold and free agency and they did a year ago for $150 million in free agency, and the results were mixed bag, but they've got to. They've got to figure out how they're going to approach. William Jackson, the third and Carl Lawson. It is a passing league. If it's a passing league to defend that you're gonna have to get pressure on the quarterback and be able to cover and the less pressure on the quarterback. The longer you have to cover. Good luck. If they can't figure out a way. Keep Carl Lawson, you are down to Sam Hubbard. Yikes on a team that already had trouble getting to the quarterback. If you can't keep William Jackson the third you've got Trae Waynes, who? A year ago, They invested three years $42 million in. Unfortunately, he never took a snap because he toward the pectoral pectoral muscle. But you've also got a Darius Phillips and a couple other lesser options. But if it's what are the other and I don't know, Maybe it's Maybe it's one gets signed an extension one gets tagged. I don't know how likely that is because the tag is such a big number with what they're gonna have to get done this offseason, But if you make it one of the other Want Carl Lawson over William Jackson, the third I'll take the guy who can be disruptive. Now. You could argue that Carl Lawson, the switch has to stay flipped and on more often, there will be burst and flashes. And there will be moments where you think he looks so good. You think they'll never be able to afford him in free agency. The guy's a monster. And then there's stretches. Where you say, Where did Carl Lawson go? And yet he's still young. What 25 years old Andre Asses? Muchas it is a cover league. William Jackson the third to me. In his first year you were like, Oh, yeah, Man, The graph the church for this guy. This guy's got a trend up and up it up and just get better. And there were moments in the past couple of years where William Jackson just if he wasn't hurt. He was just kind of He was just there. And you can't just be there you get you gotta make plays. I mean, he's a reputation in Houston was he got his hands on the ball. He batted out a lot of passes. He picked off a lot of passes. He was a playmaker, and he just he hasn't made Don't think he's made the place that you would have thought a first round corner would have made to this point. So if it's one of the other, it's Carl Lawson. You know what else has to take place in order for this season to be successful? Their best players have to play their best. But I go back to what just happened this past season And if you look simply from a Monetary standpoint, a cap standpoint of what they spent. The chunk of the cap it took up. And what they got in return. The classic return on investment mean AJ Green $18 million What did they get out of a J. Green? I think there were four weeks he did not have a catch during the season. Gino Atkins. Next at 14.2 Million. What do they get out of Gino Atkins? Zip zilch. Nata, limited snaps and one pressure. I think one tackle the entire season. DJ reader got hurt the big offseason investment. He'll be back had the thigh injury, but that was 10 Million. They spent Trae Waynes 10 million counted this year. Bobby Hart, Don't even get me started. Carlos Dunlap. Don't even get me started there. And I mean, that's 1234. Those air six guys those of the six biggest cap hits and what what production did they get combined out of Green Atkins Reader, Wayne's Heart and Dunlap and you can't win in the NFL. If your best players don't perform their best. Release your highest paid players in theory, your best players because you're devoting that kind of money to him. But you had. You know, Sean Williams didn't play much. His cap. It was around five. You know, John Ross around five million. See Jay Oussama got hurt. He was closer to six million. Joe mixing got hurt, and we didn't hear from him. For what? The final how many games of the season and that was about four million on the cap. Jonah Williams got hurt. I don't want to say again, but but he got hurt, So that's a big stack of talent..

"L w I'm only coming of the great American getting ready, Of course, Freddie, thank Eddie Fingers in the rock and about 25 30 minutes, but until then, Great number 85 your Cincinnati Bangles in Tennessee, Of course, is Tim McGee. Tim. Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show and Tim, How are you? I'm hanging in there, man. I'm hanging in there. I didn't. But it's a thin thread, but I'm hanging in there. Just barely hanging on. I'm probably angle standpoint. Yeah, I'm on the last fiber. What did you see in yesterday's game that would give you hope. That means the man in charge of the football operation on the field should remain at least for one more year. He might say it was Joe Mixon foot. Jonah Williams, his knee or defensive tackle readers quadricep or cornerback Trae Waynes, the pectoral muscle, Whatever it might be like what? Having watched the last say the last three games that then went to the last three, including a road game first time in about three years, and they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, which I still don't know how the hell that happened. So what did you see? Yesterday that gives you hope? For 2021 season. Well, we're basing it off for yesterday. There was absolutely nothing. That was a debacle. Uh, there there is just no phase of the box of that even looked like they were ready to play and the results were pretty obvious. Baltimore just absolutely humiliated, dominated whatever you want on that so I don't think there was from a fan's perspective. I don't think there was a lot in the 2020 last 21 season that you could really hands hope on. Besides, we have a professional franchise. And that's pretty much it. That's all you could say It was. It was a dismal year. You can't measure and say, Oh, they beat Pittsburgh. They beat the taxes and they won four games and call that a any celebration because it just didn't happen. S so at this point. Looking forward, there's going to be an effort. I guess in April or made the drafts going to take place. Summer camps Gonna open Hopefully, By September we had on Mike DeWine. About 12 35. Today. There's hope at the end of the first quarter, the beginning of the second quarter, which lie April main June, we're gonna be largely back to normal. And so what I wanna do We have a professional National Football League franchise. That's been the Super Bowl twice. You've been in the Super Bowl, of course lost, but nonetheless, there is excitement around the fact that we're wanted one of about 27 American cities that have an NFL franchise or two in the city. And so, looking forward the Reds, I think had a pretty good season last year this year. Looks like they're selling off their assets. FC Cincinnati can score a goal and they're gonna open in March. I guess we know fans whatsoever in the stadium. I look at you see Bear cat basketball that look, they look terrible. Xavier got beat by 30 points to Seton Hall. The parents took down the Musketeers and Brian, look, I see nothing in opportunities and challenges. So is a sparks maven yourself, which it season and 2021. Are you most looking forward to the Reds? The Bangles FC, you see Bear cat basketball Continuing. You see Berrick out football when Luke Fickell at third and two, decided to trick Georgia and go for a past was incomplete. What are you looking forward to sports wise this year? Well, based on the resume, you just eloquently stated. It's all uphill from here. There's no question from here on it's gonna be about the struggle. I think we could look forward to something positive because the chances of all those teams all those organizations. Doing this badly they've done is probably slim and none. But if you look at our past eyes been, it's been daunting to say the least. But again. We're very fortunate here here. We're very fortunate from AIDS and be in a position to complain about professional teams and what what? We cannot do this what we cannot. We cannot get to a mental point where we are accepting three and 13 and 4 12 and one and losing seasons as Oh, there's always a next year. There still has to be constant fan pressure for the organizations, all the organizations to do better and do better. And they gotta put forth the effort as far as getting the right players in the right positions, right coaches and going out there and try it. When you look at the Bangles and you look at the red, you know. They're they're just sometimes you just You don't even expect them to win. You want him to win, but your level of expectation. This is pretty much lower than a pregnant at you Just don't think it's going to happen so we want and we must change that mentality. That of a mentors. Uh, winner's mentality I should say, versus the loser's mentality of right now, we just as your name we're just going through the checklist of okay, Who's going to do what what's going to happen to because ultimately We know our teams are going to lose and that we just cannot get into that rhythm. You know, Tim, I gave the great 85 1 activity that does have a lot of interest is the high state Buckeyes. I'm looking at a Las Vegas line. The over under in the Ohio State Alabama game a week from today is 75. A half points over under the first half is 37, a half Brooklyn's and the Bucks or a 7.5 Point dog? I course I don't bet on on football, basketball. I don't bet on that stuff. But I I couldn't imagine. Maybe last McAllister would know. But 75 a half points is the over under Which means you better $100. And if it's over total 76 you win. 75 Runner Do you lose and vice versa. Have you ever seen a college football game with the over under 75 a half points that's almost like a college basketball game. Especially. This is supposed to be the two top teams in the country. How in the world you're basically saying that two top teams in the country has no defense. They do not play defense, so they're just gonna run up and down the field score touchdown after touchdown after touchdown, and the defense is just northern boy. So I think college football needs to really assess and bringing some or changing some rules that let the defense play again. Because it's absolutely ridiculous, because, as you stated, it's like they're going to score more points in a football game or predicted the score more points in a football game, then they're on a basketball game. So it's just getting talked about this at It kind of do the division six points for a touchdown. They're assuming there's gonna be more than 12 touchdown scored by both teams. That's three touchdowns per quarter. That's a touchdown. Whatever you every year, Four minutes is gonna be a touch down there. I can't conceive of a college game. You're betting over more than 12 touchdowns 12 touchdowns in the game, which is, which is basically more than three per quarter. It's not pot, it's almost impossible to score three touchdowns every quarter. Again. What? When you add one more bearable that these are the two top teams in the nation and they're predicting them basically to send out a memo until the defense is not to show up. If you're going to score 75 points in the game, and as you said, the number of touchdowns, But even they imagine nation it's a track meet. Is the football track me? They might as well Just call it Arena football because again no defense. I'm in offensive player, I think offensive. But Jesus Christ. I mean, you've got to make a competitive for the defense. I mean, it's ridiculous. I like this Rocky barman. This question Notre Dame lost Alabama 31 to 14. But it wasn't that close. Alabama completely dominated Notre Dame Should Notre Dame de emphasized their college football program and focus on lacrosse because right now, the Notre Dame football program is non competitive. You know, it's 11 could continue to debate Should they have been the top one of the top four teams in the in the CW, and I think we all can conclude they should have been in that game. They shouldn't have been in that position. There was other teams. Schools more worthy of that position, and, you know, I guess. Fortunately, unfortunately, loaded aimed brings that money and that allows them to get into the game. And that's what it is, is nothing more than a money play or political play that allow them to be in the top four. But again, they show up in the top four. They play in the playoffs, and they get blown the hell out of there, which proves again. They should not should not be in that situation, but welcome to college sports, and that the where the unpredictable is predictable. Now we'll see what happens. But 10 degree you're the great 85 will steal. What happens down the road is interesting to be in sports, talking talking about sports and Cincinnati going in the the going into 2021, But I tell you what Everywhere. I look, I see nothing but opportunities. Some might say their problems. But I say opportunities and Joe Burrow with a good draft and some excitement. A couple breaks here and there. The Reds almost got what they scored 22 innings in a row, and when 22 innings or without scoring a run and FC Cincinnati's largely disappeared. I understand that in score any goals Everyone. Look, I see opportunities. And why Luke Fickell? Lastly, his third and two, and obviously you got a pretty good defense..

All right, 700 wlw thing is the aviation report with Jay Ratliff brought to you by the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport on 700 WLW J. We have the airline employees the union's air, pressing for another round of some stimulus. Yeah, they figure a third time would be nice at the end of March. And of course, they just received a $15 billion, which was the second payroll stimulus towards the bailout for the airlines, Mike and worsening American and United Employee unions, starting to push already for a third bailout that would kick in towards the end of March. And they got the first two bailout. I suspect they'll probably get something around three if they keep pushing. It looks like the U. S Airlines just US alone lost 35 bill last year. That's the last estimate like $35 billion by the U. S airlines. As far as they combined loss, that number may be tweaked as we move forward worldwide. It's more gonna be close to 100 and 57 billion this year and last for all the airlines combine but some bleak news for the airlines. What's a U. S airlines racked up another $67? Security $67 billion in additional death. That'll certainly slow down their recovery as well. And I'll have all of this and more on my aviation block, which is sponsored by the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport, now offering fares to New Orleans a round trip for $75. A kick in the gear. Yeah, well, they got their butts kicked in yesterday. I mean, the old can of butt where push shaking up and down all over 55 gallon drum style. I mean, Wanna team rushes forward 400 yards and today's National Football League. That is an abomination seven half yards a carry allowed it. It was tough to watch mean They missed the all time record for rushing in the modern era by four yards, yes, that the Bengals have said. Bangle stuff. Yeah, with Cory. Don't worry, Dylan, right when he had the big day and, yeah, So this is a rush to the most and given up the second most. That's kind of weird. All right, So do you get the field that guess what The word on the street is, And that is that the Zac Taylor's back of some assistance go Yeah, As many as five assistance, uh, are being rumored to leave. Um, you know, and my understanding is one of the assistants was offered the opportunity Tonto to come back to the team and decided to take the other. The other opportunity. It sounds like so, azzam. Any of the handful of coaches will have to be replaced. But you know, they haven't had their sit down meeting. You know, Zach and In the family. The organization have not had their you know their final debriefing meeting assets, so you never know. But it sounds like the way the way it is now used to be contracts ran until the end of January. And now it's zone Lee Week after the season, So you know you're talking about benefits for coaches, families and health benefits, all that sort of thing. So if they expedite that process, so it sounds like you know, most teams get the ball rolling sooner than later these days. And there's no question this season would have gone, you know, not splendidly, but in a better direction. If you had Berlin you had mixing. Um, but that zoo across the NFL. Everybody has injuries, especially, you know, you get to the second half of the year and Those are two very key elements that are missing. But you look ahead to next year. Let's say you get those two are back. One of the Bangles most obvious needs offensive line and where else are offensive and defensive lines. That's where I would focus, you know? You're right. I mean, there were missing missing Bono, Joe Mixon, Jonah Williams. You know one of the staples obviously the staple in their mind the offensive line. They're missing their top three defensive tackles the top three cornerbacks. You're right. You know, Every team in the National Football League is affected by injury. Those were those were all significant injuries. They won two games, though in spite of that, But they know they obviously went into a bus. I mean, Baltimore is playing extremely well. They're peaking at the right time. I I think they're gonna be A team that not many people want to play in the playoffs will see see how that works out. But it shouldn't been his lopsidedness. Itwas and I think the reason that it was lopsided because it was because upfront they get dominated offense been defensive lines get dominated. So to me, the exclamation point was delivered. Gotta get better up front. The big boys win games for you. All right. We gotta run the Bangles line tonight. Catch it here. Yes, sir. You're the man lab. Good to talk to you later, Mike Better. When you hear that hunger, college man and you need to get some food. Gotta find yourself a black sweater on it up. Whether.
