"Three points. My friend go. what's next. I mean a new study asked americans. What's the best candy bar you buy at the grocery store i would say. Take me to mars. Mars bars milky way. Mars mars boy. Goes things here every year. You hear on screen. I've never seen one real life case me a mars bar on the hate and they just never seen one. Because i've heard of it. Every halloween they come in the little packages so i thought they were popular. Eddie guys there's not a lot left there are. There are one five left. Yeah okay let me tell you what i have written down bones. Start with the one in the silver package. Gimmie three musketeers. Show me three musketeers. What's number eight. Eight wound never had that that one. Because i kinda like it. But i never liked it enough to buy exactly. Like halloween's great. 'cause they throw it in there. Sure one okay Give me ooh that one just came up in my mind but give me a milky way. I think that's the one really wanted to say gimme milky way. Show me a milky way number nine points. And you've taken the lead eddie. It's hard but it just came to me then nasally a good candy bar yummy nestle crunch barack okay. Now trump hits that was worth seven. Amy you can still win it. But eddie you got control here. There are two left. Actually what am i thinking. I wrote a jingle forum kind of jingle fort me. What's a mccall it. show me what mccalla. Golly emmy we go around one more time. You could still win this thing in the world or two answers on the board. One is the number ten answer that can win it for you one number to answer. Well i'm just going to america's a little confused and they're going to consider it a bar reece's jomie reese's peanut butter cups turncoat. Thought you took that. She talked about our new resources for like three minutes. And it went smarties. Five is so good. I'm gonna get you on you're gonna try it. There's one left if you get this. You win the competition. So i'm thinking like one hundred grand people like that or would babe ruth. Maybe ruth is a baby ruth or babe ruth. The peanut bar is it. is it none of them okay. Well i'm gonna go with. I don't know anymore chocolate bars. Mommy say my name like that. Bobby lobby to answer to answer in five seconds. You just said that she stall time. I don't know and your answer. I during a hundred grand solid incorrect. So it has to be chocolate right. You're saying chocolate. Laura day cannot be on there because that is not chocolate. That is peanut butter and peanuts at that. So the answer for ten spot is i mean you know we pimp joy but when you go to the grocery store you get an almond joy. That's good. I forgot about alan. If you get the ten spot not enough to win effort about you. Never chance that. There's almond joy eddie. Twenty four eighteen lunchbox thirteen. You are winner and you alleged. It's rare that you guys get all off the worst. That's one all right. That's what's up. It's time for the good news. Already anthony as a teenager in canada and he practices his basketball skills about four hours a day in the driveway dribble dribble dribble. But he doesn't have a hoop uses like a tree and some of the leaves or whatever as a net he kind of targets and be like all right. That's my hooper. Whatever so some of the neighbors saw this and they said you know what we have to help this guy and get this guy basketball hoops so the neighbor ian ray. He got all the neighborhood together and put a facebook post oven so we need to help them out. The ended up raising seven hundred and fifty dollars to get him a hoop and some more basketball equipment. But the coolest part is that lebron james saw this post and he said community is amazing. Nobody can fulfill their dreams alone. Anthony keep working kid. You have another fan right here out the king. He didn't say he didn't do anything. He just made a comment commented. But still lebron said you can do this. I thought you were going to say. Lebron showed up thousand with him but lebron just common and it still might align listens every morning shows. "All right. This is the case of maguire v holland mr layton and mr holmes. You will have the beginning statements for opening arguments. Thank you thank you as german of the court. Thank you to illustrates opposing counsel. Thank you to my co counsel. Charles homes up pew pew spiderman is a character that since the inception of the character has really embody what the marvel universe is all about. Spiderman is the prodigal son if you will of the marvel universe he is the a number one. The bear the flag holder. Why would you say that. This is true of spiderman because of four tenets that makes spider man who he is. There are four things that have captivated the audience that have captivated generation generations of spider man. Fans that make spiderman who. He is what we intend to approve today. Is that in the tom holland. Version of spiderman. These tenants of spiderman have been abandoned. So would we tend to prove as a defense too as a prosecution. Today is that tom. Holland cannot be the superior spiderman because in essence. Tom holland isn't even playing spiderman. You might ask yourself what are the four tenets of spiderman. A character that was introduced us in the sixties character that role with us through the money hungry eighties through the turbulent seventies through the nineties where we thought were good turned out. They weren't gay Housing crisis was coming a little bit of a bubble. Oh gonna explode been up all through us still two thousand two when a movie came out and put it our heartstrings spiderman one that gave us the spider man we have been waiting for but before we get to that. Let's discuss let's discuss. What makes up the four tenths of spiderman number one is independence spiderman is a character that since the death of his mentor. Uncle been the man in his life. He had to go his own way. He has had to balance a job at the paper. The daily bugle which is not some weird alex jones internet concoction. What the daily bugle is is a newspaper and that is very central to how spider man does his thing. Okay the juggle that with love affairs. Squint stacey making watson said. The juggle that with financial problems has a double that with life. He's had to do it on his own. Species had to do it with no help. He's had to do it without billionaire. Benefactors without lackeys of those billionaire benefactors without everybody jumping into his business she's had to figure it out and that more than anything is makes vitamin a hero. The fact that he's figured out how to rely on himself and go deep into who he is to make these things happen for himself number two intelligence and ingenuity spider-man's genius. Peter parker the boy genius. Peter parker creates his suit. Peter parker treats his web slingers. Peer parker creates. The web. solution makes it all himself that adds to the d- the character spiderman. I'll have you remember something. i'll have. You remember that. During the original spiderman there was a movement to have organic webs shoes to have the web shooters come out of the actual body of peter parker. He's like a mutant spider. Didn't go through. You know why because it was an affront. The fans revolted. No organic web shooters. I signed the petition. Organic web shooters wasn't a front to the genius of peter parker because he created his own web shoes. I would have to. I will tell you right now that in these movies the genus. Peter parker is a non factor. Don't even talk about it. What he's been gifted from stark industries. Who hacked to suit ned. The guy share not even peter. They took that away from him. Number three responsibility with great power comes great responsibility. I would have you believe that. The spiderman of tom holland is reckless. He's reckless young punk. That continues to get in his own way. He almost kills people on a boat. It was almost a real life. Staten island ferry. That went down because he's reckless and irresponsible. Then what does he do. He gives the glasses to my stereo war. Which to be honest with you. Break several rules number one. He's stupid not diligent by giving them glasses number two. He's once again. somebody's lackey. They made him the lackey of the villain and the number three. He's irresponsible to turnover that type of tech to some guy number four and maybe the most egregious. If i were to tell you one thing right now the separate spider-man one of his greatest powers separate spiderman from everybody else it would be the spidey sense duh. The spidey sense the single thing that allows peter parker to get out of danger to notice danger to be one step ahead of the bad guys in any situation. I would argue to you that in this particular run in these two movies. The spidey sense has been greatly depowered. Almost to a point where it's barely used we're going through things and deciphering where the spotty says. Yeah he's on a bus. The hair stands up on the back of his arm. Great spidey sits. Anybody can see. That sounds like sky up despite talking about talking about his. Hey look around. Something's not right. I need to jump into it. Hey i hear. I need to figure out that. The spiny sits has since been in any a powerful tool of peter parker slash spiderman during these two movies. I'm gonna say now we've had to look into scenes and go. Oh he can do that because of the spices. Fourteen minutes over four. Tom holland. I'll now turn it over to opposing. Counsel opposing counsel has the floor. Mallory ruben and jomie judge jerry fellow council we will be responding to all of those points and some of those errors later on but we will begin by arguing. Architects and asking. Why do we love spidercam. Why do we gravitate toward the wall crawler as fully as we do we see ourselves in him. Spiderman stories are about many things but the through line is change the way our bodies change the way our abilities change the way our desires change the way the world changes in the way that we strive to change with it too and when we assess the best live action spiderman we must think about the parallel path. The change takes for.

A lot in the wake of the low-key finale and getting to meet he remains and talking about all the different ways that carrying might manifest across mc stories to comment thus all of the different performances. We might get from jonathan majors which i cannot wait for within this half hour thirty six minutes credits included of what if we got to see two versions of doctor strange which means we got to see two performances from benedict cumberbatch and both of those were different from the one that we are accustomed to seeing in the c. "Logan murdoch here. Sasha back on the boards jomie jomie in a bid raja bell second straight. Second straight episode. Raja are you in mourning right now. How are you feeling we are talking the morning after the bucks are the champs over beating the phoenix suns six games honestly messing both of our initial predictions for the series because we both had the sons in six. I repositioned that bucks and six. After i went to milwaukee distract the kool-aid just just fed into all the propaganda by large pick. Where the sons. How do you feel right now as a suns fan. A sons Luminary how do you feel right now on the other side of this into the bucks said it's tough. here's logan. Do you remember how much shit i caught. When i saw the sons were pretenders. We know you mean we call me. We yes but i. The vitriol was was was more towards music. Get so it made it impossible for me to pick against the sun's ever right like i was afraid to do that. Gave in a buck I didn't think the sons are the hotter team coming in though they played great And i was disappointed. They didn't win last night. I there's a part of me that feels like getting to the finals. This year was a win. Whenever you get there you wanna win it. You know if you had started the season and and said the sun's gonna finals. Most people in phoenix will be like sign me up. You know what i mean. And so i got mixed emotions about that. I wanted to see them win. but i've also been a box fan immunised fan for a long time like they've been my team for the last couple of years And so you know while while the sun's loss and that sucks. I was happy to see honest. Put some of the naysayers you know to rest so to speak by getting chip and they were great games. Which as a fan. That's what i'm looking for. You know and as an analyst looking for good games with storylines and and big point swings. And so i got all of that so i'm cool so we're gonna we're gonna talk about the suns that a bit later but we had to check out we had married our own mir fader talk about yoenis check out that in the next segment but i was. I watched the game. Last night. I was i was. I was in oakland watching the game and it was a lot of bucks fans actually At the at where we were at. And but one of the things that i really just took away from that is just. Donna says a champ janas did a kuma was a champ and we already know the slander that he has gotten over the last few years. Some warranted some not necessarily warranted. But let me let me give you your numbers guy rise. Let me let me dawson. Numbers your way for this for his stats on on the Series thirty five point two points. Thirteen point two rebounds sixty two percent from the field and for and he had fifty and a closeout game at home in a game that was in the balance for most of the time he was. I know that we the shack thing. The shackled patterson is a bit. Yeah but the man was like caring dudes on his back and still making shots. He was incredible. What did you see from your honest in the series. And what did you see from him. In the in game. Six in the series overall i mean he just dominated on both sides of the ball. You you know. He did a top three players in the league's are supposed to do. They're supposed to have you know that type of impact both offensively and defensively right like games not just played scoring the ball. I've had this conversation about other players before like a lot of people could score. Can you hold it down. You know in other areas of the game to get your team over the hump. And i thought jaanus at times in the series was able to kind of chill offensively when when other people were cooking and facilitate and just defend board and all of that and then when the time called for it like last night third quarter. Say yo get on my back here we go and you know he just dominated like that last night might have been his best performance. Haven't i haven't seen every honest game. So i can't say unequivocally that it's the best but in a game that mattered. The most on the biggest stage with the brightest lights of fifty ball with thirteen and six with sixteen for seventeen or whatever was from the free throw of nineteen from the free throw. What happened was i mean it could have been his best performance and you talk about just putting it all together. The defense the shot making the you know the different type of shots that he was able to finish around the rim like it was a lot of cool stuff to see from somebody who basically just told you like you better consider me the best player in the game right now like we can have a debate but don't leave me out. Listen this is how good he honest was you. Holiday was four of nineteen from the field. right cr- khris middleton as we texted back and forth had his struggles in game six. It did it fucking matter was at every loose ball. He had every made every single. Play down the stretch. They counted him down all playoffs long about his free throws he said don't even trip. I got. I'm gonna make i'm gonna make seventeen of nineteen. Okay shut up. Please shut up the man and it was. I would agree with you and that it's his best performance but you could make. The argument might not have his best performance. It is the career defining performance of his. It's the providing performance of his career thus far on the defining series of his career. Because he had this great game then we're forgetting about the block and game game three right. You'd think like he carried game five dunkin forty five just it was just. It was just an member. This guy hurt his knee two weeks ago. It in a way that we didn't think he was going to be back. That's the crazy thing right like this. That can looked like he tore every ligament in his leg. Two weeks ago three weeks ago you watch a lot of basketball. I've been you know. Nba fan from the time. I was probably eight years life. Yes this is what i you. Yeah yeah i. I mean fifty balls in close out games of the finals. I don't remember having seen one. I don't i don't remember. I know they probably exist but i don't remember seeing one. Yeah yep particularly though. I think that for this team and this type of year they needed this type of performance from your honest because even after this. And i and i obviously yield the floor to you. It didn't look like the two best teams in the league. Were playing right. Didn't like as far as depth dr. We're playing against each other as far as debt on the sons We saw that one eight and get into foul trouble also shut franken. Mitzi forgiving like real minutes in nba finals game expected are You shut us the fargo anyway I didn't get the sense of that and also the bucks. I got the sense that jaanus needed to be this for them to have a chance. He needed to take a next level approach. I don't know if this is going to happen next year. I don't know if it's i don't know if he could do this next year and beyond or i don't know but for this particular year in this particular series. They needed this janas from. They needed this jaanus in order to win a title. What why why was. Why do you feel like he was so effective against this team. Raja first of all jaanus is going to be doing this. Let's get straight. He's not going anywhere He's only going to get better. He's twenty six years old. He's going to continue to. He's going to continue to add stuff to his bag soul. Let's get that straight why he was so dominant against the sun's well i mean he he dominated everybody. I mean he. It's what he does logan like. He's a two time. Mvp it's what he does but he was able to be as effective as he was against the sun's because of their lack of size and his ability to just will in bully his way to buckets not taking anything away from his brilliant offensively on the floor and the way he's able to assist in a like he's great but they just weren't big enough. They didn't have enough. And this is what. I find interesting and a day and age where we don't have any bags and biggs. Don't wanna be biggs..

"I guess interesting. I mean there wasn't a fascinating exchange in the pizza. Delivery car where mobius said. Sylvie all that time i really believe we were the guys and sylvia's that just absolutely incredible response which is annihilating entire realities orphan. Little girls classic hero stuff. And you're like oh yeah that's a good note good note but again to me that feels like of a piece with the rest of the show which is and i guess. Mileage may vary on whether this is this works for everybody but most of these characters have done terrible things. Sometimes they did that with clarity with the full understanding of what they were doing. And why sometimes. That clarity came later for many of them. It is about siding consciously deciding to do something different to live their lives at different way. And i think that moebius traveling his version of that road is more fulfilling an interesting actually than him then like a twist that he's really bad after all but i can acknowledge that. That's just probably what. I personally want your. I forgot about the other thing. Also him showing up in the pizza truck right. I mean the pizza like what like none of it makes any sense outside of the context of him being a dog in the storytelling. And it's either like he is. A narrative cog or he as a character is playing a part that we don't quite the we don't fully understand. See your light. He was pruned. He in rivonia are he mentioned a long time. It's it's a clue that he and revolt are in cahoots plan on a long con together and they will ultimately betray loki and silvy. I wouldn't be devastated if that had been. I've just stated. I wanna go right on a jet ski with moebius. That's what i want. I guess i would have a hard time. If they're conversations between moebius and rivonia were not shown to. we didn't get face value. Whatever we were showing something that was not that was not the truth bug me but but i guess i'm open to the fact that like rivonia doesn't even know a moebius is up two or something like that i don't know i don't know i just feel like if i had. I feel like if i were working with if i had owen wilson and his performance was as great as it was. I feel like it's more meaningful. I understand everything you said. I agree with but i think it's more meaningful. Just let him die last episode like let them die and leave him leave that hanging then to have him come back. Is this sort of like. I said like a narrative cog and then and then whatever like anything that he does and episode six could be accomplished by somebody else. So i don't know maybe maybe my only response to that is this. You could see the same thing about this. Leaving loki dead in the emc you right but they created an entire show or during a time line just so we could spend time with him because it's magic. It's magic movies is magic. Deal i i. I'm going to be absolutely crestfallen. If you're if you're right crestfallen i'll i will need something better than the tv iceberg lettuce salad with salt. Pepper shaker. ragnarok if if that unfolds call me. Oh my gosh daniel and stephen jomie gonna jump on. I wanna find out if they think. I'm crazy because i like for me. That was just so obvious..

Can you tell me a little bit about that when we start to bring up the topic of stress notorious always thrown into the mental space. I keiser stresses. Just all in the mind not So when we started magistrates we can look at environmental stress cultural stress physical metabolical. There's lots of different ways in which body but we do know though is that you have signs that you'll not coping and these can be mental physical or emotional very subjective at Warning signs could be completely different. Something talk to sway. Some people say gone taste. Some people say i get really angry and snappy really quickly these different ways in which people start to learn about themselves with that The showing signs that. They're starting to to be overwhelmed. And so when you start showing the signs of being. I've weld like that's an outward sign but what's actually going on inside so we have a system in the body in between measure so cool is almost people with night as stressful mind. So we use biomarkers in the body to match your stress. Let's stick recall is often now. If we can identify you go high levels of cooling the body. Like i think You know the equality of loki that we are aware of is that low-key any loki. Pick your lucky is is very like adaptable and curious. Right logie as shape shifter not just blends in asgard but like when he you know in ragnarok when he just sort of like slides into the society there You know in order to save his own neck right so it was just sort of like that curious that like. "I'm realized that she was a hair. Braider and i remember here. Breeders being a feature of the local beach scape on the beach of life very early ernie adolescents. I would see so in nineteen eighty four. I would have been ten going on eleven not to eat each myself. But that's the truth. So i would have been ten eleven and i was just sort of coming into an awareness of self and who i was and i just remember the eighties. With such fondness. So i it was the fact that i remember going to the beach around that time and that the here breeders were very much a part of the local escape so that was the first reason but quite apart from that i mean i just love the lake. The decade of the eighteenth just meant so much to me and there were so many elements of my child. Turn my adolescence. Being a teenager that are associated with things from the eighties that were no longer here and that it was just such a pleasure to be able to recreate at sort of lifts through again. So i mean things like the huns addresses and Going to the cinema the globe cinemas sitting in the balcony of throwing popcorn into the pit on string bags string bags were like everywhere in the. Atc don't see them now at all. That's a thing for me on so many elements of the nineteen eighties. Even even in terms of the breeding baheren putting beat sappy and that was really that was the stylish. Speak to do with your hair and a lot of local here. Breeders would have been breeding on the beach taurus in nineteen eighty-four. So it was. It was absolutely a pleasure for me to be able to revisit bapti. I wanna talk about a number of the characters. This book has a large cast of characters. And you've just mentioned that. The book started off when i came here. You ambitious guesses. Show story lorries. I'd say the bane character of the story. The story is told from the perspective of multiple characters. And so i wanted to talk about festival. I guess why multiple characters but to do that. Let's talk about i. Guess how those how those characters came together. How the book came together over those moves for characters and think in barbados impart my my culture as a beach and has a carribean person. Orel storytelling is very much apartment. That's just how we live how we express ourselves even on and they're very to me. It's very interesting how we do that. And i think you probably only. I certainly probably only recognize certain aspects of that when i went somewhere else. Lives for one and felt the absence of it so locally. When we're telling a story you know. "Now wrapping up. I got two questions for you. The first one is if you could go back to your childhood and rescue a gift that you don't have any more. What would you go and rescue incredible question. All right there was an icon. Remember the cartoon time But essentially they were like these nights someone will know this You know you went to blockbuster. Need took the vhs out down. There was this particular causing see loved. It was on tv on saturday morning cartoons and essentially these nights. These soldier guys would have something. Come out of the shield that was on the front of their chest. It would like they would. Have i guess like a spirit. Animal sounds really weird and they would fly out. And i bought the figures. My mom put me that the figurines and had like a hologram on the front of them. And i took them to spain with me and i loved the must have been about four or five and a buried them in the sand as she did to find the mccain a loss them so so someone in spain amazing time they just on this treasure that genuinely hordes me the fact that i learned my lesson from forbearing Remember the name of this causing but as patriots is in an but I would like to rescue them quite literally. And if you could go right back to the beginning of your career and give yourself a gift to help you get where you are now. We'll give you give yourself. You don't sometimes thinking about my career. And i think like samson when he cut off his head it he loses powers right. I used to have really long hair. And i feel like my blase style kind of not rude but just more kinda like hey just go with the flow like just chilled out. An easy got me these opportunities and it was always nice people. my motto was. Don't be a dick. And that's kinda the motto cats. And then when i started taking things more seriously less offers came in so i think what to do is go back to that guy who just left. University was making his way inside upcoming. Hey just keep doing. Keep doing what you're doing. Don't don't try and be other people want you to be in tommy. She get head. You should do this. You should do that and you think. Although apple tv plus still has some catching up to do net flicks led all streaming services with thirty five nominations including ten for david pinschers manque and six for the trial of chicago. Seven amazon received twelve of its own. Nominations all right rich. We're gonna talk about online dating. You ready i i am. I am more than ready. Because as part of an investment in the nonprofit background check company garbo match group who operates a whole range of dating apps will integrate the ability to run background checks on potential matches using a last name and a phone number. The feature will roll out. I a- tender and then later across matches other dating apps. Gover garbo collects public records and reports of violence or abuse including arrests convictions. Restraining order harassment and other violent crimes and eventually plans to support manually submitting police reports and other documents to their records as well notably these background. Checks will not serve as drug possession convictions or traffic violations as these offenses Don't meaningfully predict gender based violence according to garbo These checks will also be a paid feature for match although it's unclear if this'll be microtransactions where you just pay for each background check or bundled in as one of tinder subscription tiers match also said it's not sharing users data with garbo rather users will submit this information themselves. They'll just be an integration to kind of do so more easily Through that interface and then all the payments processed Through match in some way that we don't know yet so you know Obviously staying safe When you're doing some online dating a kind of key here you know sarah. How does does this make sense. Is this something. That's making more likely to use an app with this integration. Okay so it makes a lot of senate also doesn't make a lot of sense and that's because of the way that has rolled out. I will preface my my thoughts by saying i actually been in the situation in the past. I met somebody on a dating app. And i'll keep the. I'll keep the details brief. But that person did have a record and that record. And i want to say as you mentioned not just traffic violations drug possession violations that sort of thing that is not included in this. It's whatever gerbeau and match group and all of its subsidiary apps have decided are important for kind of match stuff however this particular situation that i'm talking about was something that i would have wanted to know about beforehand and there is no way to know beforehand because if anybody is used to being on a. Dd nap that. There are depending on which dating app. You're using for example tender. Makes you sign up with a facebook account so that i can hopefully grab your real name and your real age. Although you can still there are ways around it but most most of the time you meet somebody look at a couple of pictures. You might know their first name. Don't know their last name and you might know slightly a little bit about who they are what they do for work or for fun that kind of thing. You don't have much else to go on. And so if there is if there is some danger stranger danger going on in there you want to know at the same time this gets a little bit tricky because as you mentioned rich if it's paid feature and it sounds like that's what matches is deciding to do. There are lots of paid features on apps. You can jump to the front of the line if you're trying to get to know somebody that you've seen on an app. For example there are. There are lots of ways that you can pay to have a better experience but to pay to know of. Somebody is a violent offender. That is something that i think is pretty tricky and i. I would be surprised if there isn't a bit of backlash about that

Android's new "Ambient Mode" turns a charging phone into a smart display
"Google assistance ambient mode. Let's advice display images or play music or control smart home devices and more waltz charging it's kind of just sitting there hoping out being a little helper the feature started rolling out to select android eight point zero or newer devices from Nokia and Jomie devices last week and ars Technica technical reports that it will hit Sony and Oem at transition next week Pixel users still have the similar pixel stand Ui but MBA mode attempts to be a little bit more proactive proactiv. Yeah I've got the Pixel stand I think if I yeah if I pick it up I can kind of show it to now goes away But it basically just shows me a clock in the weather and it's kind of Nice this new ambient mode is much better it shows it gives you shortcuts to things like setting alarm or going into do not disturb mode and like it's like they say it's supposed to anticipate what you want so if you're the kind of person that wants it to show a slide show. It will do that. It knows what time of day it is so it can dim itself things like that. I'm looking forward to this coming to my android devices. Well because it seems like it'll be interesting to play with whether I'll actually want to use it a lot. I don't know sometimes I get annoyed. I'm like I just wanted to turn off off. I realized Oh no. It's supposed to be doing that. That's a feature. It seems like something that is a little bit of a novelty ability but also I'm sure some people will be you know when my phone is the way he may main way I look at time and if fit can be telling me time when it's resting sure why not I guess it does beg the question of energy consumption and it's Salat but no the whole point of this is that this is very low power mode and it only do it while you're charging anyway and it does anywhere the NBA on the ambient mode does way more than tell time. Tell time is what my pixel stand you. I does right now. This this is doing a lot more cool stuff. I think I think it it would work really. Yeah well sort of like you have setup Tom where you're sitting at your desk anyway. Why not charge your phone right? They're not using it. You know you're so the fact that it's a clock they're kind of just becomes part of your setup because if you if you for example in my house I have a few different iphone chargers and sort of depending on what I'm doing and my phone. I'm like crap I need to charge my phone. It gets plugged into all sorts of places. There's not really like a great stand where it's like a reliable some sort of information that's being fed to me but if if I had a good reason to do that I would so. I like this idea at the same time when you're sitting at your desk you're probably on your computer and you have all that information formation on your computer but maybe it's active enough that it will show you stuff and you know what you with information realizing you need. I think that's where ambient mode becomes more attractive to me because you're right now I can see like the temperature of the date and the time. And it's like okay but if I could show me a slide show or pop up the reminders that that you know could also get but maybe it's too distracting to have it on my main. There's more options. It's more proactive than I think that that could be more useful. Hey folks the least helpful. I think it will actually be. But we'll see if you want to get all the headlines. All About the new 'Jurassic World' short film 'Battle at Big Rock'
"New story that I want to talk about as well which which is a PC guy saying this tomorrow night during these et Jurassic world short film Jomie model at Big Rock which I thought was pretty pretty cool but I don't WanNa hear you guys talk about it. Instead of wanting to hear the guy he made it talk about it. Will you please welcome drastic world and the upcoming world three three and indeed the director all the big. Please welcome ah the I just want to thank all of you. I brought my children tonight so thank thank you for introducing them to many new words. I'm so sorry so many questions to answer wants dinner so yes colon thanks to lay down man for everything you were born so listen this short film by the big rock very very exciting. What can you say about what's what happened is so the universal came to us and asked if I wanted to make a short film with their money and I said yes definitely we can put dinosaurs in it and we'll do it and so we're not enough if any last film at the very end we really just change the franchise? Even is as we said all these dinosaurs loose in the world and so it led us a just think about what that really means and take a bit of a step away from our weaponized dinosaurs hybrids and all these things that we've been doing in these in these movies and really just go back to basics and and make a short film about a family campground who just like anyone who's been camping. Sometimes you see a bear going through your garbage and we replaced that with an ceratops yeah. We we go from there because I I've seen a little short films in my life almost every single one of them stand to have a dinosaur and it's you're not the besmirch short films but this is the dream just take a dinosaur and then you're good we list of films that I think what would have been even more amazed ashamed with films that I want to have a dinosaur in them. All Jess I found that amazing movie with Robert Redford all his lawsuit aw I remember watching it incredible movie and I was so ashamed that about two thirds of the way through there could be a Muslim source would be okay with that. I would be alright Robert Redford versus versus the Mosasaurus all along the money would be the most horse tough you never know he's very resourceful so when this we shot in Ireland in January January of last year and we managed to keep it a secret the Irish keep secret added stars Andre Holland who many US probably seen in castle rock if that's out here in Selma is incredible actor Natalie Martinez who is an end of watch and his amazing amazing actress and these two kids that no one's ever seen before who I love so much it was it was like shooting in movie we had five days and we all had to get together with this pretty. Small Irish crew one set and find a way to do something pretty pretty challenging in a short period of time with not same resources that we're used to and everyone was down at the buffet every morning which there's an excellent buffet at this point this out at this hotel in Ireland that we're we're all in this sweet little girl who was in the in the short had never been in anything before and we asked her you know she her mom called and said Bull. I oh I get I get get first class tickets to come out because you're guaranteed a first class taking per guild rules but she really wants her whole family there. Is there anything you can do and I was like well what I do with my my family is usually we'll just we won't take the first class and we'll fly. Everybody and you can fly business if you do that and so she said great and so this van pulls up and just one one after another ten people baby and grandma everybody get out of the van and they were Swedish. There was amazing BEC- it coat from winter in Philadelphia incredible but I'd love to this is happening. Do you think this might spark a trend. Is this something that you would have loved to done and for the first Jurassic World Yeah it is the result of a you know I think it's because our we don't make three movies a year in our franchise and and and we don't even make one movie a year and we're we're a little more old school and that we every three years and we ask people to come and see a dinosaur movie and so it to be able to have something in the middle because the story that we're about to tell in the next film is so different and so large in scope that it was. I just really wanted to do something that was that was just very intimate and small. There are dinosaurs in it but it's a small intimate dinosaur fight. What can you say about where you are with the next Jurassic World World we are? I live here in England and I've been here for three years and we have our our offices out at studios and we've got everyone. They're carving being dinosaurs out of of clay. I can announce here that I have. If any do saw the dark crystal on Netflix John Nolan who did all the animatronic Dr Crystal is going to do our animatronic for us and so he's bringing starting to actually build things in his workshop and seeing what he's able to do with is Enjoin Movement and he's really innovating a really exciting way speaking emphasis on animatronic again there are large and small and we actually have an animatronic in in battle a big rock that was done by legacy by the guys who you know Stan Winston's group before they all have carried on that tradition so we had this the massive allosaurus in Ireland and so everybody was my wife actually took a video of it that I'm sure I'll I'll tweet at some point because there's so much so much fun and energy behind it and that we finally we had this this massive thing that was sticking its head in and out of this camper van spoilers spoiler now but people and and it just this whole crew was actually watching this thing go down and you really feel like you're you're. You're in Jurassic Park when these things really get going and we play music and we play roars really loud so there's there's no element that isn't you know firing on all all cylinders and it's pretty exciting. Everyone applauded and we we felt like we were there. Outside of course in
UN strongly condemns witchcraft-linked killings of ten children in Tanzania
"This is of Lenin from UN news, we need to ensure a stronger protection environments and raise awareness over the killings of girls and boys in Tanzania believed to be linked to witchcraft rituals said the United Nations resident coordinator in the country on Wednesday strongly condemning the recent killing of ten children in the south of Giambi district of our dreamers said the UN was lending its full support to national and local authorities to investigate and prosecute the perpetrators. The bodies of the children were found abandoned with missing body parts, which are believed to be used in rituals practices, which are deep rooted among some communities Tanzania and nation of fifty seven million people where some persons with Albany have also been targeted for ritual, killing and dismemberment stove ouzo from the UN information office in the capital Dar-es-Salaam spoke with Mr. Rodriguez who started by highlighting the importance of protecting children on. The way to school where deeply concerned about the situation. It appears to be rather unusual situation in which about ten kids as far as we know three. From one family alone were killed over the last few weeks, and it would appear that their bodies were also dismembered either their limbs were missing, but it would also appear that their genitals and their lungs can been ripped out. We don't have all of the facts yet. But we've issued a statement that we've opened a dialogue with government to express concern over this to in cans any support that can be provided by the government to regional authorities in Joan bid to investigate and prosecute this. But also to ensure a stronger protection environment for kids coming to school because it would appear that going to school on going to the market accompanying their parents is where the children have gone missing. You have any idea as to why this. Feelings are occurring at this particular point in time. Not at all, frankly, appears rather on some people have speculated that is related to some form of witchcraft in quotes, it suppose ability we have had ritual killings in the past in the form of attacks against people living with Albany. Som. But those have greatly reduced almost to nothing in the last two or three years. So we're very surprised by by this occurrence, you'll looking clues Lee with government you mentioned before and dislike to find out from you. They mentioning any giving information as to who is behind this killings. Or is there any form of reports in updates that is coming up. No, we've heard informally that there's been an effort to track down what a call witch doctors. But in some cases, they could be people that are simply herb lists. And would not be involved in anything to do with bodily arm against others and other case. It could be something worse so reviews taking place of them. We hear that. They may have been a couple of people are prohibited. But this may be due to neighbor simply highlighting possible stranger that may have been in the community. And may be linked to the cases in another case, we hear of somebody that is referred to as a novel having been involved, but further than that, we don't have anymore and for this particular killings that are happening that have have have occurred in in jomie. What is the union doing specifically to provide support me to the families to the schools and to the community around that area? What we've done if that we've reached out to the ministry of home affairs, who's taken a lead on this issue given its role in internal administration of police services. But we are support comes in the org. Just this issue is the promotion of gender children's desks. Where we are very active in ensuring and this happens to also be the case job in ensuring that the police is more in tune with the challenges that the communities facing, for example in a situation such as this one and also very importantly, supporting the implementation of the plan of the national plan of action on violence against women and children where two months ago the government had dictated that village committees village security committee should be established. And in fact, last week, we were discussing this issue with government. So we hope that John they will be one of the early adopters of these new measures, and we will hopefully prevent any more incidents from happening clears Bhakta. Nielsen record for notorious I've been killings. What did the U N do in that particular time since we see this? Reduced reporting of these incidents now where we did a number of things, I think one swoop in a dialogue with government to see how we support the police the courts and very importantly communities in terms of awareness raising and we also carried out a lot of. Could call when media campaigns social media printed media on recognizing that just because people look different that doesn't mean that they should be treated at a discriminatory way. I think it made a difference. The government was very clear that he wanted to take action on this issue at the time. And they have continued they set up a task force to address the killing and maiming of people living with albinism, and it would appears by all accounts that has worked quite well. And what is your call with regards to these killings? What is your call to resign in community beyond this killings? But specifically on this killing sister recognize that everybody has a live has the right to life to live a life of dignity and safety. And of course, the children are particularly vulnerable in boys and girls in Tanzania are often like in many other countries, they often subjected to all sorts of discriminations girls are not allowed to school there. Early pregnancies. There's GM there's early child marriage. So we continue to work with government and communities to address some of these harmful traditional practices, which could include potentially this ritual killings. And we, of course, are continue to work with all nations to promote a rights based approach to development where human rights is integral to all of the work. We do.
