"What all right maybe much but ozark. He's a good player. he may get tagged it. If not in he'll get on the market he'll be probably the highest paid receiver on the market. If allen robinson is not on the market to robinson maytag. he's not that robertson will probably get the most in terms of ap y like hi stacey the highest guaranteed robinson till you're a receiver when you're mr bisky but go on right right. I just think they just don't want to lead the bears. that's really one of their. They have a couple of their offense of lebanon right. They need to figure out the quarterback situation but We'll see robinson ends up but yeah robertson and golladay are are the top tier guys. I think the reason is. I think they will think about every wide receiver on the market. It's a deep market. It's going to be even more deep with With some concert are gonna come up this next week But i think it's just it's a value proposition right. Would you rather get the fifth pick s. That's that's a lot of heavy resource to expand on on receiver But i think he'd rather do it that way and get like the value that aj green provided from before he signed his first extension for my two thousand eleven to two thousand fourteen like yang dominant aj. Even though like a jomar chase were even maybe like the other guys to jalen waddell and demonte smith. They're not the in the. Aj green mold in terms of physical dominance but the each have dominant traits in other areas of their game they can dominate on. I loved your marches. Of course connection a borough which some people seem to undercount that and to me if we're just some random receiver quarterback connection. I wouldn't count it as much but joe burrow literally had the most explosive historic college season of any quarterback in college history. And the guy he did it with is available and if you can marry that again i think it makes the most sense and i don't think it could be discounted. Some people like to discount that it's again. I want to be clear. I'm not saying just because of that. I think that's a nice icing on the cake. And that's a that's a top shelf icing if you will on that game because they very know it can throw in egypt when joe burrow was on a zoom call talking about jomar smith and the marchesi and the possibility of of teaming up with them. You miss face lit up. I mean that's that guy knows what he's doing. The i don't think at any issue. Developing rapport with james waddell or demonte smith or wherever it is right for boroughs going to develop the great report but if you can just already kind of pick up where. They left off on their off historic season a couple years ago. I think if you upper eighty percents itself you take it and to the point of then you just hope that jamarcus in those early years when he's on that rookie deal is giving you that surplus value that age adrian. Green gave the bengals in the early part of the last decade like elite receiver production. Even though you got t- higgins who i think can develop into elite player. Tyler boyd is one of the best. If not the best slot receivers and football that trio right there on its face is has the potential to be dominant with joe burrow. That's fix offense line. I really liked that receiver. Pick there. i wouldn't be opposed to sue of pencils. Obviously i'd be more than happy to take a generational type tackle and there's some other tackles as well but i would love to march as their fifth pick because as you mentioned going into this past season nobody thought. Aj green people. Maybe didn't expect aj to be what once was but i don't think anyone envisioned the down your ej green hat. I don't think anybody saw that. We were anticipated. And that's with against developing into the receiver. He did with the potential to develop even to newer heights. Degrade great heights and with boyd. So joe i think you were good on. Twitter tweeted out. That i don't know how many targets aj green had but he had a lot of targets right. That was ridiculous number of and so that's going to have to be made up somewhere. They were trying so hard to make advocate for. And i mean if it was if it was anybody but aj green you. Wouldn't you wouldn't try that hard. So you're going to have to make those targets up so whether it's jamarcus wherever so i think they will look at all the options in free agency courts deep receiver class. They'll probably steer clear the top end guys even though that'd be great if you sign like an allen robinson fantastically. Now you've got robinson boyd and higgins. That's great obviously be paying him a lot of money and at that point. You're taking chase smith or waddle off the board at five. You're not taking receiver at that point. So i think they would think about it. I just think with their issues on the office of line. They think they'd rather spend money and free agency at that position as opposed to a top end receiver. But you mentioned the guys that they can go after you know A curtis samuel a josh reynolds some of these type of players. Who can be had if you're looking at type projecting their contracts. I think i player like john brown. Who signed with the bills for like three years. Twenty seven million to nine million a year or jamison crowder who signed with the jets a couple of years ago three years. Twenty eight point five. That's nine and a half million dollars a year. We've been robby anderson last year signing with with carolina from the jets. Two years twenty million so like i think they would entertain signing meant. I don't see josh reynolds at that high. But maybe a kurdistan. Okay get up in the eight nine ten million dollar a year range on like a short two to three year. Deal that i think you could entertain that for sure. And i think if you sign a samuel a josh reynolds that does not preclude them from taking a receiver at five. Now you'd be committing still a lot of resources in the receiver physician but the reality is. You can't commit it to quarterback yet. I mean you're locked into bro. You can't even touch his contract for another two years. You can't go shoot until his last regular season game of your three. So you're locked into jerrold burroughs cheap rookie deal for twenty twenty one and twenty twenty two. Which is the his thirty or so he got to spend that money somewhere. And i think you're gonna spend it ideally to surround borough that's rounded but to protect them upfront but then to add weapons to to really pick up where we thought. Aj green was because before last year there was talk about eighty was under the tag right. Last year was he had until the fifteenth of july to come up with extension. there was talk about. Are they going to extend him. Because nobody saw this precipitous fall at. Aj was going to have and so you need that production somewhere and so i think they both address. I think they will try to address it in free agency But if not i think they they they can address other areas. That leaves them nice in the least nice possibility to address it in the draft with a high pick. Yeah i just kind of look at it in terms of know to cast simplifying it like well you can offer so many high level contracts you know and and i see the fifth pick is just another high low contract yet so you know i look in terms of you know if you can cross off one of the big things you need to cross off with that pick. You know you're you're sitting pretty whereas you know your second pick at the top pick in the In the thirties there That's a little bit more comparable to what you're getting out of Autumn occurs samuel. Search situation So it may. I think that that exchange you look at when you're allen robinson. Curtis samuel to me is a similar sort of vein to marci to crecy kid from oklahoma's name Ya not to take a ticket step back and get a receiver in the second round. Yanno a tease a rasheed. Odd reshad bateman although elite random. But that will said what will although it said..

james waddell josh reynolds john brown Curtis samuel Tyler boyd jomar smith jalen waddell three years joe burrow jamison crowder last year Last year two years thirty Twitter eight two samuel golladay Twenty seven million

"The. New England Patriots are known forgiving, undrafted free agents of fighting shot to make the roster Sierra goodwill here with Evan. Lazar this year again. There are some intriguing names of signings that they made in this off season both on offense and defense. We've talked a lot about wide receivers Jeff Thomas Sean Reilly in Nikko stands out on the defensive end. which you think has the best shot of making the fifty three man. Yeah, definitely A. A lot of buzz out there about Thomas Bell Hastings about Riley. Some of these receivers, some of these pass catchers, but to me it's the guys throwing the ball that have the best chance to make the roster Jomar Smith and Brian the work you to quarterback said they signed an undrafted free agency Nicosia came out after the draft and said quite frankly the Patriots were going to have a third quarterback on the roster at. At some point, they were obviously talking about the two undrafted guys end up being four now. He wasn't necessarily saying that they were gonNA. Carry three during the season, but there was a little bit of an insinuation. They're they're probably GONNA have three quarterbacks on this team whether it's on the fifty three or one on the practice squad so I give Smith in the work. He was Smith having a little bit of a higher upsides. upsides I'll give him the edge out of those two to make the roster outright in the initial roster at least at a camp because I do think the Patriots would like to carry three quarterbacks. You have stood him as a starter Brian, or is that trustee veteran backup and also kind of pseudo coach? If you will force them, and then you have another third guy who's a younger, higher upside player, they can develop long-term. Now. There's an active sixteen year long streak for the Patriots. Where you DFA makes the opening day roster, why is this such a hotspot or such a great landing spot for these undrafted guys to come to really have a shot to get there? Get their shot in the NFL will truly. It's situation where everybody is treated equal here whether you're a first round, pick a seventh round, pick and undrafted guy. Everyone's going to get a fair shake once they get in here. Their rookie season to make the roster and to make an impact, so I think that that sort of is a lot different than a lot of other teams. You know you're a first round. Pick on a lot of teams. You're automatically with the starters you're. You're automatically put with the ones, and you're giving your roster spot, and you're giving your numbering your jersey and your big unveiling and the Patriots don't do that. The patriots make everybody earn everything. Even the Jersey numbers as we know, so I think the biggest thing is just the culture. There of everyone gets a fair chance at this and everyone's going to have a fair shake and making the team. The other thing I think is the Patriots Scouting Department is excellent at finding guys. Guys that fit what they do, systematically on both sides of the ball, and not necessarily looking at measurable 's or combine testing numbers once we get to this point once we get to the undrafted guys, but just looking at guys that have traits or have physical traits or a mental traits that match up with roles that they could possibly play in New England, so you look at a guy like Jeff Thomas. We've talked about, and you can see that Philip door central figure Jeff. Jeff Thomas skillset extremely well, so you can see where they're going with that signing. You know similar like a guy like dion. Harris a linebacker from Arkansas. He plays the game like a thumper in the box and you can see that he's got that landed Roberts type skill set, and that's what he can feel. So it's really about filling holes or feeling needs and understanding rolls on your team, and how some of these guys in their skill sets will fit into those roles. "I have a question for your mailbag last year. Many analysts said that the Cleveland Browns were loaded team ultimately greatly underperformed. Those few who correctly predicted the browns would underperform last year. Now stating the Browns have a legitimate team and could make the playoffs. What is different about the browns this year as opposed last year well major difference would be the coach Freddie? Kitchens was the gym Tom. Sue Love Hires last year. It was I mean it was a joke. You couldn't hire Freddie Kitchens and they did and it was disaster. I also think that they hired kitchens. Acquired Odell Beckham. It was just kind of a ticking time bomb will you get Kevin Stefanski who I still think is a big unknown. He was a one year coordinator now. They had a great statistical year. In Minnesota cousins had a career year that running game kicked ass digs thelander. Awesome so you just get a little more of a steady individual who has at least coordinated place for a full season for a playoff team. That won a playoff game now. Why I don't feel as confident and everyone I know in the League at the browns had a really really good draft is. I'm a little insurance Baker Mayfield. Like are we sure is good. I saw enough last year. It was like what is wrong with this guy. Now that gets back to the coach they do have a ton of talent but football comes down to coaching. It's not like if the if the Cleveland Browns were an NBA team. They'd be locked playoff team. You'd be like yeah. They're locked like home court advantage team. That's not the way football works now. The team is going to be dramatically better. But we'll see man. I think there's a lot of pressure just because they have Odell have Baker. They're just polarizing team but I think people just probably look more at the coach better situation situated with with Stansky. How do you feel about the direction the Miami Dolphins and what he predicted? Twenty twenty record is going to be well. I mean they had a good draft. They drafted a bunch of good players. They now have a franchise quarterback I guess they're twenty twenty record. I'd probably have to know more about to a situation. If they just roll back Fitzpatrick. Maybe they win five or six games. If to US fully healthy you know in the way that they played down the stretch. They have an influx of talent. They've signed a couple of free agents. They ask multiple starting corners. They went seven games if two was fully healthy. And he's I you and I we all know as much as any but we do not no one knows at least as we're going like would be able to do rookie minicamp when he just sit on the side. I don't know I would assume you wouldn't. But are they just going to redshirt him in play Fitzpatrick and have Rosen's the backup is to we're going to be the backup? How's it going to work? Because he just the starter. I have no clue but I would say they're definitely trending in the right direction if the steelers go five hundred worse. How much fans panic with the quarterback coach situation? I to me the coach situation. He's kind of established himself right. We learned that Antonio Brown's one of the craziest humans who's ever played in the NFL and under Mike. Tomlin handle them last year. Ben Tears his arm like he's Jacob degrom or excuse me Noah syndergaard's the guy that Tommy John and Tom went eight. Nate Mason Rudolph and duck. Hodges my talents good is Mike. Tomlin Bell is Mike. Tomlin Sean. Payton is Mike. Tomlin Andy Reid. No he doesn't call either side of the ball but damn good coach. Hell yes is he a top ten? Nfl coach Hell yes. If I'm the steelers I want Mike. Tomlin to be my coach because of Mike. Tomlin gets fired at the end of the year. Whoever needs to coach the number one option? They go eat fast. Ron Rivera got higher. Well Mike Tomlin is way more accomplished than Ron Rivera. And I like Robert. Good coach but the quarterback situation to me already is a question mark. You got an old ben who kinda looks fat. Who's coming back from a major injury? There's a chance he's not good anymore. Their chances is old. It's over and if that's the case. Luckily their defense still good enough. Did they could probably compete. But they would have to be. Then be in the in the quarterback market next year. Found your through the her and I'm a fan. My questions about the Vikings do you see them as rebuilding. They let a bunch of key. Players walked us off season but it was clear that many of them either property locker room like digs past their prime roads griffin or. Just not that. Good Wayne's now exander yeah. I think the Vikings are trying to win. I mean they got cousins under contract. They got feeling got digs. They draft Joe Justin Jefferson. Who's GONNA play immediately draft a corner gladly from? Tcu should start immediately. They still have donell hunter. They still have Kendricks. They still have Harrison Smith. They still have a coach. Who is like Fangio? One of the better defensive coordinators in the League. I think they're trying to I think they were French. Playoff team just depending on how good these young players are trying to get me to be their financial planner to questions concerning the quarterback situation in Dallas and New England. If DAK refuses to play this season without a new absurdly expensive contract are the cowboys a potential landing spot for relatively cheap Cam Newton and is the only reason they would do that because it would sever ties with. Dak Push him into free agency the following season to. How unlikely is it? The Patriots season with more than two quarterbacks Steadham hoyer that they have right now they signed the Michigan State Bum and Jomar Smith Louisiana Tech who I believe has pro potential if they can coach them up the accuracy as UDF as the cowboys. I don't think you draft CD lamb. I don't think you sign Amari Cooper for sixty million to not figure it out deck. Though like I've talked about I would play him on the one year Franchise Tag I. I'd be shocked. Macarthur would want to work with Cam. Newton I. I don't see that happening the Patriots. I think they're just gonNA play Juiston them. I think they're going to give Jerick sixteen game tryout and just see what the hell they got if they win nine games. They make the seventy great if they win six great. And they'll reconvene my. I think it's going to be that simple. They're gonNA play with jared sitting and just see what happens the UDF as maybe one of those guys could beat out. Brian Hoyer probably not though so I just think that. That's that's the plan appreciate everyone. Listen have a good weekend and stay safe out there stay busy. I don't know doing what I guess going on. Walks enjoy looking out the window of the sun hopefully end sooner or later but thanks for listening again in talk soon their own I see him I would look over. There is that culture. Yes this last coach. Don Las.

"I have a question for your mailbag. Last year. Many analysts said that the Cleveland Browns were loaded team ultimately greatly underperformed those few who correctly predicted the browns would underperform last year now, stating the Browns have a legitimate team and could make the playoffs. What is different about the browns this year as opposed last year? Well major difference would be the coach. Freddie Kitchens. Was the gym Tom Sue. Love hires last year. It was I mean it was a joke. You couldn't hire Freddie Kitchens and they did and it was disaster. I also think that they hired kitchens acquired. Odell Beckham. It was just kind of a ticking time bomb. Will you get Kevin Stefanski? Who I still think is a big unknown. He was a one year coordinator now. They had a great statistical year in Minnesota. Cousins had a career year that running game kicked ass digs thelander. So you just you get a little more of a steady individual. WHO has at least coordinated place for a full season for a playoff team won a playoff game. Now why I don't feel as confident and everyone I know in the League at the browns had a really really good draft. Is. I'm a little insurance. Baker Mayfield. Like are we sure is good. I saw enough last year. It was like what is wrong with this guy. Now that gets back to the coach. They do have a ton of talent, but football comes down to coaching. It's not like if the if the Cleveland Browns were an NBA team. They'd be locked playoff team. You'd be like yeah. They're locked like home court advantage team. That's not the way football works now. The team is going to be dramatically better. But we'll see man I think there's a lot of pressure just because they have Odell, have Baker. They're just polarizing team. But I think people just probably look more at the coach. They're better situation situated with. With Stansky! How do you feel about the direction? The Miami Dolphins and what he predicted twenty twenty record is going to be. Well I mean they had a good draft? Drafted a bunch of good players, they now have a franchise quarterback. I guess they're twenty twenty record. I'd probably have to know more about to a situation if they just roll back. Fitzpatrick Five or six games if to US fully healthy. You know in the way that they played down the stretch. They have an influx of talent. They've signed a couple of free agents. They ask multiple starting corners. They went seven games, if to was fully healthy, and he's I. You and I. We all know as much as anybody we do not. No one knows at least as we're going. Like would be able to do rookie minicamp when he just sit on the side. I don't know I would assume you wouldn't but. Are. They just going to redshirt him in play Fitzpatrick and have Rosen's. The backup is to. We're going to be the backup. How's it? GonNa work because he just the starter. I have no clue, but I would say they're definitely trending in the right direction. If the steelers go five hundred worse. How much fans panic with the quarterback coach situation? I to me the coach situation he's kind of. Established himself right. We learned that Antonio Brown's one of the craziest humans who's ever played in the NFL and under Mike Tomlin handle them last year. Ben Tears his arm like he's Jacob degrom or excuse me Noah syndergaard's the guy that Tommy John. and Tom went eight Nate Mason. Rudolph and Duck Hodges my talents good is Mike Tomlin check as Mike Tomlin Sean Payton. Is Mike Tomlin Andy Reid? No, he doesn't call either side of the ball, but damn good coach Hell. Yes, is he a top ten NFL coach Hell. Yes, if I'm the steelers I, want Mike Tomlin to be my coach. Because of Mike Tomlin gets fired at the end of the year. Whoever needs to coach the number one option they go eat fast Ron. Rivera got higher well. Mike Tomlin is way more accomplished than Ron Rivera and I like Robert Good coach. But the quarterback situation to me already is a question mark. You got an old ben who kind of looks fat. WHO's coming back from a major injury? There's a chance he's not good anymore. Their chances is old. It's over. And if that's the case, luckily, their defense still good enough did. They could probably compete, but they would have to be then be in the. In the quarterback. Market, next year. Found your through the her and I'm a fan. My question about the Vikings do you see them as rebuilding? They let a bunch of key players walked us off season, but it was clear that many of them either in a locker room like digs past their prime roads, Griffin, or just not that good Wayne's now exander. Yeah, I think the Vikings are trying to win. I, mean they got cousins and our contract. They got feeling the got digs. They draft Joe Justin. Jefferson who's GONNA play immediately. Draft a corner gladly from TCU should start immediately. They still have donell hunter. They still have Kendricks. They still have Harrison Smith. They still have a coach who is like Fangio? One of the better defensive coordinators in the League. I think they're trying to I. Think they were French playoff team. Just depending on how good these young players are! Trying to get me to be their financial planner. To questions, concerning the quarterback situation in Dallas and New England. If DAK refuses to play this season without a new absurdly expensive contract. Are the cowboys a potential landing spot for relatively cheap? Cam Newton and is the only reason they would do that because it would sever ties with Dak. put him into free agency the following season. To how unlikely is it? The Patriots season with more than two quarterbacks stood hoyer that they have right now. They signed the Michigan State. Bum and Jomar Smith Louisiana. Tech who I believe has pro potential. "Friday and Saturday collectively have been pretty much. Dissect it to death. What hasn't been talked about a lot obviously everybody in their brother and sister know that the Patriots did not select a wide receiver in the draft, and they did not select. A quarterback but they did in the hours after the draft ended on Saturday they selected to quarterbacks and one of course. Was Jomar Smith out of Louisiana Tech and the other one was an interesting pick, two or interesting signing to me Brian La- worke out of Michigan, state. And they did take two wide receivers. Jeff Thomas out of Miami and Sean Reilly out of Syracuse. Baby okay. Let's start there. Tell us about Sean Riley. Are Sean as someone who gives you big upside. He was the leading kick returner in Syracuse history. The Patriots don't currently have a clear cut kick returner, and then you get Duggar and we'll talk talk about Jeff Thomas of the later out of my out of Miami erms. Miami my that sorry this to schools mixed me up ACC guy accused me, but Shaun Wylie kick return game. He gives you explosiveness and really good speed. He's a returner. He's a ride receiver in name at the pro level. I'm not sure how much he's going to be able to do because he's pretty under-sized. He's under five foot ten under one hundred eighty pounds, so he's the guy that you're not gonNa want take a ton of contact more maybe gadget player, someone you can exploit his speed and pretty decent changed direction ability when I think if he's going to make this team. It's GonNa. Be a gift returner. Tell us a little bit more about Jeff. Thomas. So Jeff Thomas is one of the few undrafted guys. I've really gotten to watch a decent amount of film on now I'm just GonNa. Get the concerns out of the way. Obviously, he has some off field. Disciplinary issues I believe that affected his playing time when he was in college that said as a player. There are some bubbles in his game. SOMBODY catches that you don't love to see it from receivers I'm not sure he's totally comfortable as a natural receiver that being. Being said he's an extremely explosive guy. You can use them as a partner. Turner, you can use them as more of a gadget player in the way that we saw Cordeiro. Patterson us. We really just find a way to get the ball in his hands and let them work. Not only is he fast, but he's also, and this is where I think he has the edge over someone like John Riley is. He's dynamic after the catch in terms of being able to. To make defenders with more than just speed is a twitchy guy. He made some tacklers or I'm sorry. Intended attackers, absolutely silly and college, both with the ball in his hands as a receiver, and as a returner, so I think if there's anyone who's an early favorite to make this team I'd say Thomas the top of that list as someone who I joke on twitter that his ceiling is still doors Senate floors. Philip doors set so when you think of that guy who? Who can really push the offense down the field?.

"Manifesto. You've been really working on my footwork feet. You know trying to kind of remove the perception that i'm not an athletic quarterback that i can't get out of the pocket of move and he threw ball really well. I mean look. I was really impressed with nate so that was my one on my won't take away their on stanley. The nugget had <hes> talking to executive. I'd put stanley right up there. Behind herbert and talk of iowa has the size of arm talent that you want i was was it practice last year saw him ripa seem came away thinking this is legit n._f._l. Guy i have no question so he can let it go a little bit. <hes> i think if we're in the conversation of four or five first rounders this year he has to be in that art anything on borough borough. I get to talk to him. I enjoyed kind of and having a conversation with them a little bit but i just didn't jump out to me which is kind of what you wrote. It's exactly the same thing so. It just didn't jump off tape a bad take a chance on he's healthy. They expect to have a big year this year. We'll keep our eyes on him. Surprising thing though for me is that camp foster monroe was down there. It was joe's buddy at at l._s._u. The fourth round pick of oakland raiders and i didn't recognize him. At first. I didn't recognize face. I was like and this guy's out here like directing traffic telling guys where to go where to line up and i'm like who is this guy. It's austin roe there. You go so in derek. Carr loves foster auster by the way up in oakland from up in napa. Little bonus nugget there for art cluster three. We've got k. J. costello from stanford stephen montanez from colorado jacob jacob easson from washington three pack twelve guys and you've got shape patterson at michigan and ian book from notre dame so that's that cluster three and this kind of jammed in there and i didn't put rounds on these these guys <hes> but for that it's early for that but this to me if you're kind of saying forecasting you're talking mid mid round type guys based off where they are coming into the fall. We'll see where they go from there so i watched montas. I you know look. I think he can make he can make some rig throws athlete very athletic kid yeah and he's got maybe the best receiver in college football the throw he was he down there yeah he was beautiful. I mean he's decay metcalf yeah. He's just tall. He's built bric a chance to visit with him. At the pac twelve media days you wanna look like so thing we'll see about montas is i felt like he he might have been a little reserved a little bit introverted intil his group that he was working with his quarterbacks asked him to like free style and like the kids got some bars like really don't ever say kids bars and say can he did a good job wrapping okay yeah. You're trying too hard hard when you say he's got bars. That's what the kids say. Nate burleson can say that. You can't say that say that no shoot this is that it's got some bars. I wrote that down art art if i hear you. I hear you say he's got bars. I think he's selling the candy bars. I can be good too but all right fine. He can free style a little bit jeez of crowd over. We're here by the way i did want to mention before we get to because he's not in your clusters here. Zach thomas apple my app state guy he was there. We had a fun little oh conversation in fact. It went a little bit like this. He's act good friends with a big big fan of yours that are network lead n._f._l. Draft analyst the former epstein quarterback. I know where this is going. That goes who's that i was like oh yeah daniel jeremiah he goes. Oh wow wow zach back exactly take history class in the mountain. Come on buddy. I killing me so sorry wow that's hurtful. He didn't say he didn't ed and hurts but he was. Did he really say it'd be honest with me. He did trying to save my spiel. That's how nice red is. He's trying to now say it's a lie back. I know no it's true. Do you still happen to have any records at app. State at zach might break to have a record indicate one place. I'm i'm with you on that too all right so anyway. Sorry back to that cluster. Where are we here so we did monsters i didn't i didn't see shape patterson some a couple of years ago it was. I don't miss yeah run around yeah. A little bit castillo did not see. I di castello last year <hes> interesting. I actually have my notes. What's in another notebook but to me. It was just consistently making the easier throws <hes> can he's big. He's strong. He's tough but to me. It's going to can and you get through progressions and a little bit more consistently and then. Can you make those lay ups. That's gonna be something needs to work on underneath touch but <hes> big strong and coach shaw loves him. He really loves. This kid really smart so <hes> one to watch. That's why he's kind of an again. That clump of guys got some tools and you wanna see what what happened this year and so you're throwing jacobson in there and we haven't even seen him. Jacobsen is from guys that went through there last year and just the buzzing around him. Big physical guy and it's kind of saying okay hey. This is somebody that definitely watch but last thirty even secured the job wh-which acetate martell so yeah no question but my my uncommon on him in this little piece was you know what's he going to be. Just got a chance to be you know somebody. That's physically just a harbor or is this a crucial atkin brick and that was that's my fear because you get some big strong kid that just hadn't put it all together willie ever put it all together to be determined but i know he is a big physical guy. Teams have been impressed when they've just seen him on the practice field really enjoyed spending some time with the book and you know he is he because you know who you're reminded me of who he reminded me mcsorley. I think he's taller mcsorley. Okay yeah he reminded me of brady quinn the notre dame thing that big no but he's not that tall aw yeah but he's i mean. He is a rocked up dude like he's. He's a specimen so anyway so we were doing quarterback wide receiver group group trills. I had my group wideouts. We're running routes and so this is probably saturday. It's one hundred degrees out in e incomes over with his group of quarterbacks and like let's run some. Let's change the example. Let's get both both sets of receivers on one side took two main routes. You want to beat you. What's your what's arou- combo he jumped right in there and i was gonna coach the receivers up once he told me but he jumped in their move the receivers around show them what they wanted to do and i was just i was. I was really impressed. He and alex hornibrook actually translate from wisconsin and florida state. I thought men commanded their group right. We're not afraid to get out there. Coach guys have some fine open book as book smart. He's a bookworm nicely done yeah so let's put this discussion the books onto the next yes. That's bad so anyway. I was impressed with the way he commanded the huddle. I was impressed with his leadership. Which i think is a thing right something we talk about here. Hey look if you're not gonna laugh. At my jokes. You can book it and this little courtesy laughs all my that's all i want to you looking for what's in cluster four. Let's get to cluster four brian lewinsky coming off a terrible year michigan state twenty seventeen. I had just regular worke. <hes> <hes> jalen hurts. We'll see him in oklahoma. After officially the starter now and this is again cluster for this is the kind of real wildcards kellyn mon- ultra athletic saw flashes ashes that clemson game when he got <hes> got a chance to have that dual there with clemson and i was like man. This is going to be really good and then the rest of the year. We're just kinda very up and down there at a._m. He'll be the junior but <hes> those kinda guys just kind of wildcards stealing hurts. I get a chance to visit him. At the oklahoma pro-death love him. I mean just love being around him at a chance to visit with them at the lead eleven the year before oh he's just he's a great leader and you can tell he's got it factor. It's just a matter of whether or not he can consistently accurately throw the football down the field. That's going to be something that man. If you wanna prove that go to oklahoma yes successful. He's named starter so let's go yeah. I like that a lot. I'm interested to see him. Get the you. You know just have the have the reins again you know in his hands okay. Can i give you a couple of guys that weren't on your list. Yes couple of surprising catchers. I didn't know a a lot about him before. It got down there but i wanted to know more colorado state colin hill okay so keep your eye out here bigger dude. I give him six four six six three six four kind of longish longer blonde like he he threw the ball really well in fact i went to a bunch of different guys after a couple of workouts workouts and it was like yeah who impressed you who's colin hill from colorado state and a couple of guys kept saying that so keep that on your radar haven't peaked at him. Keno did receiver last year yup receivers right. Keep that on your radar hundred johnson from north western ball you know from also oh jomar smith actually throws a really nice ball like has some real zip lining through the pro bowl which i loved oh nice yeah a lot of guys a couple you guys do that but he threw the prologue and then lastly most improved year-over-year at the main camp jared jared tunnel tennessee and johnson receivers throw to looking at them the other day really yes gets mad jake bentley south carolina south carolina three year at n._p._a. This year and he won the skills competition. They should reshot sets right. That's right but he was. He looked way better from the first time. I saw him two years ago all right and we've got a couple of games coming up this week in florida in miami couple guys. We'll give you a couple of guys to look at here in this game little homework for you if you're an n._f._l. Fan you wanna watch college football this week. I'm going to give you a couple of guys and you start. Let's start with the c._j. Henderson at a corner for the gators this this is a year coming off of a draft year where corn was not all that inspiring this year. It's outstanding jeffrey khuda from ohio state <hes> really good player christian fulton from l._s._u. Big time player and i would put c._j. Henderson right tucked in behind. That group is right there really really good player he can go. There's two plays when i watched him against a vanderbilt and tennessee honesty last year where you see him in pursuit coming all the way across a field talking to sixty yards talk and do so. I know he's got legit speed. The only thing i want to see can be a little more consistent playing the ball down. The field show flashes. I would just be more consistent in that area so watch c. J. anderson the corner from florida. That's your assignment for them. By the way you might might have a chance to watch him cover tate martell. I know not playing quarterback can get him a shot at wide receiver. I think that's just a little layover on his way. Probably you to somewhere else against my guess anyway. That was that was. That was a bit of an upset for me. I wanted tate to lose the battle in two. I didn't expect germ. Williams should be the emerged emerged about that anyway so then one more here for miami <hes> couple linebackers in check quarter min and michael pitney <hes> get a chance to fifty five and fifty six right in the middle of that defense pay attention to them a lot of on the streets. I haven't finished him yet but <hes> scotch rolled through there said <hes> keep an eye so that's your homework for that game and then a simple assignment when you get to the night game arizona arizona's hawaii it's khalil tate. Let's see how he does year to here with this coaching staff <hes> norma sony. Can you get more comfortable in the system. Are they gonna cut him loose. I hope they cut him loose last year trying to stand up but let this guy go man. <hes> rich rodriguez cut him loose. I hope they do that. Kevin someone does that with him and starting this game in hawaii on the east coast you gotta stay up too late to watch it. It'd be ten thirty eastern but it'll be worth it to watch him and if not quarterback which i think it's probably uphill climb time for him to play that position in the n._f._l. Where you play him right and and that to me is going to be fun to watch what he does..
