"Johny. Joe Look like you're a lady. Now look at me. Look at your Old Lady. Why are you fucking me like this? Why Ben Ami over in the middle of FBI headquarters twenty-six Federal Plaza Asia in front of all my co workers who? I vouched for you with an fucking me. Why Johnny you'll punk or what John? Joseph Miller accused killer killer and former Hells Angels Motorcycle Club member turned. FBI informant looked up at his FBI handler special agent Mark Young and in the low near growling ailing unfiltered to pack a day. Voice said I know punk. Then give me something I can use fuck sake. These were the words agent. A young spat back into Johnny's face. Young tapped his foot without rhythm or reason his coffee and camel. Filtered breath was Mercilus. The interrogation had been going on for days. Johnny was giving up everything he had on his. Hells angels as part of his immunity deal so every day for the past week. He sat in his tiny sweaty. What he coffee and cigarettes thinking office getting grilled by agents? Some were cool and most were not aging young was pretty fucking far from cool. As as a matter of fact he kept tapping his foot rapidly in his breath. Kept on stinking up the giant. All right all right. Johnny said Fucking Jagger Mick Sunny Tread. Rub Him out agent young stop tapping his foot and stared straight at Johnny. I'm listening it was out to Mont.. Want Man fucking out. Tomorrow and Jagger blamed the angels Meredith Hunter plus the stones never paid sunny and they never paid house legal fees either sunny can let that slide. Mix should've kept us. Big Shut. Sunny wanted him dead and bad agent. Young did his best to suppress these YASIM. He wanted to hear more but he he also wanted johnny to feel like yet earn it. He looked at Johnny. Yeah so the hells angels had decided they were going to murder Mick Jagger but it wasn't going to be easy mic was renting Andy Warhol's place out in the Hamptons out on Montauk. The plan was to make it look like an accident. Sort of home invasion gone wrong but were hall has compound security wired tight so the angels came up with what they thought was an Jeez plan. They'd avoid any gated or flat-footed security in front of Andy's oceanfront property by entering from the back from whereas backyard abutted the ocean. They're going to get by boat. Seek up onto the grounds break into the house. Charles Manson creepy crawly style. Fine mic passed out slits through The local hells angels task to carry out. The hit loaded up a small boat with assorted weaponry pistols automatic weapons knives explosives the even it at hand grenades it on the right night. They set off in their tiny little boat from the East River of all places. The plan was the slip out north past rikers island into the Long Island. Sound out to Montauk. They barely made it past rikers. No kidding me. Their water go very chubby and by the time they made it into the sound. A full on storm. Hit Nick a bad fast. The boat was a nineteen foot wailer with a weight capacity of twenty five hundred pounds. It was currently carrying a small arsenal of weapons. Five burly angels in their weight in Beer. The vessel was dubious shape in the best conditions. Never Mind in a full lawn storm with trump landsman captaining. Nothing on the boat had been fast. None of the angels had anybody experience. The storm picked up with intense speed. The conflicting currents swirled chop in the full-on waves. The angels held on tight with one hand. Each grouping there cans of Schlitz with their others Instead of navigating through the job at a cautious speed the angel at the helm gunned tried powering through the storm and the driving rain. Seventy mile per hour winds Hansi eventually eight ten twelve foot ways. Tiny boat inexperienced angels were. No match capsized Somehow they made it back to land safely in Jagir lived on of course after that. I'm not sure what happened. Miller continued I heard mic freaked leaked out when he heard about the attempt on his life and then he sent some heavies of his own down to the third story clubhouse to try and intimidate the angels. But that didn't work out too. Good for mixed guys. Then I heard something about MC fifty thousand of his dollars eventually making its way into club coffers though that I cannot verify one hundred percent of course you can't. What the fuck is this story? Time with Johnny. That's it that's all you got the angel. Tried to kill Mick Jagger but what got the leathers wet Lara Talk.

"She realized that he's been dying the hair for quite a while and it has thinned-out without the curse sell. I think this is going to be a good one. <hes> for change change so enjoy jo. I gotta get. I gotta get your presentation right. <hes> hi joe almost serenity oni this a lot more. Don't even close not more syllables than you think. You got to see right syringe. Tony johny joe cirincione is <hes> my guests they hear on the <hes> al franken podcast and joe is at ploughshares airs and <hes> as a plow shares from the world merica ploughshares. Just ploughshares fund yeah. It's we get the name from the <hes> the bible able they show beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks but now it's sort of in in the missiles we focused on nuclear impressive presents shares are being shaped in the missiles. That's right so we don't want to beat the missiles to stop building more them. That's exactly exactly right. What are the chances of that in my lifetime. <hes> very good really listeners. <hes> the joe is ninety years old which gives us all a little bit of hope. It's in the balance where to tipping point now. Reduction processes stopped act. All the nuclear armed countries building. More is a new nuclear arms race so this is to be determined depends what we do. Let me ask you so this missile that blew up. It looks like it blew up in russia right what they what they wanted. There was a nuclear powered missile. Yes okay explain that it's another words. It's not jet fuel. Ooh or whatever it's a nuclear engine might within the missile so even if you don't care anything about nuclear arms control or nuclear weapons. This is really interesting. This is a cruise missile so you basically have two kinds of missiles. Mostly p we talk about ballistic listing missiles. They go power. They go up in the atmosphere. They glide they come down pulled by greg k. I note that most people don't the how a missile works it goes up and it comes down and and what that means is. He's got al franken podcast. I'd say a forty percent know that at least i will take that at-bat but let's go on so that's ballistic missile this that means it's predictable predictable path so if you checked it you can plot it and maybe you can put some intercept intercepted and if there's how many how many missiles do they have a long list missiles along with several hundred have hundreds okay so we we'd have to sub all yeah almost all one hundred one city his this and missile command lose a couple of cities in it's okay. Hey it's it's hard so i i it's impossible to do right <hes> but the russians and we better not rely on and that's what star wars ours is going to be that was reagan's thing which was we were going to just have these anti ballistic missiles and intercept them all and we were going to protect america missiles the way a roof protects a family from rain. That's what ronald reagan said and we <hes> that's what he did. You know i always like to say that a wise man once said trust but verify and that man was quoting ronald reagan uh-huh reagan really believed you could do this. He was sold a bill of goods and a lot of americans actually think we have it. We have a defense offense that if somebody shoots a missile at us that we can shoot it down and that's because a lot of our generals tell us that a lot of our political leaders tell us that nonsense no won't happen <hes> chance of doing it on a miniscule. We're suppose you do think that the other side has a missile defense system that can choose down then what you want is a system that can't be shot down and that's the cruise missile because it goes under the defenses. It doesn't have a predicted trajectory. It can go and how far it's like an cruise missiles so that's why the nuclear engine a most cruise missiles pave hey kerry jet fuel and so they were now so they run out of jack thousand kilometers who so not very long range but at most at most more like a couple couple hundred most of them but what you can do what if you had a fuel that didn't run out what if you could put a nuclear reactor on the back of your cruise missile and that nuclear reactor would propel missile ford and here's how it does it. The heat of the reactor is immense. It's intense as hot as the sun and so it heats up the air and sends it out the back of the missile and propels it forward that means you could keep this cruise missile gone for very long distances or very long times weeks at a time it could go thousands of miles in other words you launch around the earth several times as long as you wanted it to but it could at at least go across the pacific atlantic oceans and now you have an intercontinental cruise missile which has never existed before and you have a system that have missile defense system cannot watch shoot down under any circumstance and they have control over it obvious they okay so in other words this is sending out a cruise missile that they have complete control over and they can have a go round orbit the earth several times and then and then decide hide <hes>. We haven't had cincinnati cincinnati. That's exactly right so we had decided back in the nineteen fifties. The people were working on what we called. Project pluto this was designed started in the nineteen fifties and continued through the nineteen sixties which was a very large missile missile but the size of a locomotive yet gigantic well this one that we're talking about the same size. It's how big is a nuclear engine. Well well this well so yeah i in when we were going to design it it would it would carry some bombs who have little bombs and it would fly over the target area russia and loiter around and could be dropping bombs move on to another city drop another bomb etc and this was going to be powered by a nuclear reactor and exactly the way i described heat heat the air put it through a ramjet propelled forward and if you were worried about something a crisis coming out the idea was you could send it over the oceans and it could loiter for a while so that was the idea never worked. We could never get it to work. I mean a big engine. This one this one. The russians have developed evidently works well for exploded eric elwood. They've had that part u._s. Intelligence report this is probably somewhere around its fourteenth test the longest test that we've been able to detect only lasted about two minutes so so it's not been very successful in this one exploded and one of the problems with this thing. Is that the reactor in order to fit on a missile. There's no shielding so there's no lead walls. There's no concrete so that means. This thing just spews radio-activity so for us. This became completely unacceptable because we would be flying over say europe with this cruise who's missile and it would radiate all the territory was flying over and we decided this was to unworkable to cruel too stupid even for us we cancel the project at sixty four too stupid even for us even just said yes even those nuclear nuts days when we were building all kinds of nuclear weapons on all kinds of platforms so here the russians come and they say okay we can do do this and they've been trying to do this and what appears to have happened. Is there is some fuel in the christmas order. You have to get it up to a certain speed in order for for the ramjet to work. You have to get it going flying very fast in order for the heated air to be able to go in and come out at the acceptable speed and apparently what happened was the chief rocket fuel blew up blew up. They nuclear reactor so you had radio-activity spewing into the atmosphere was flying. This was in owner clear. We don't know yet whether it was flying. Whether it was back on the barge it appears to have been on the ship really yes so it wasn't <hes> <hes> okay so excited to blow up just sitting on the hour. Well you know rockets blow up all the time and this is why you don't make nuclear rockets. They blow up all the time so is h._b._o. Got had another chernobyl in a few years that what we're saying here essentially that h._b._o. Yes it's a miniature noble. It's smaller. I mean this was. Ah that you know of course was a major nuclear. This is a small mini reactor that show really influenced people's view of this. They really understood one. What it means is that you have radiation spreading over large area and and they understood the russian reaction which was just like it's depicted in chernobyl. They didn't tell you anything they tried. Anything was going on. They put out false story. After story we still don't know the whole the whole truth and how many have died or have they said seven died that we know of five for those were raw sodom scientists and engineers people who work for the russian agency. That's one of the reasons we know. This was actually a nuclear accident nuclear one the clues that makes us think it was this russian missile called the nato designation is sky fall which is the bond movie divine movies about a russian missile fails. No it wasn't okay so now. Let's let's talk about this in terms of the nuclear arms race race oh yeah because when i think i'm seeing here is that the united states and russia starring being against with russia here have given up on arms control. Yes i have the feeling that putin wants the russian people think were we're back. We're back where a superpower and we're gonna invest all this <hes> this capital and dan being a superpower which means you're really dangerous we can <hes> we're going to be a threat again to the united right states and the rest of the world and then the united states here in the united states that trump and other scientists and thinkers in in this area are going like they're coming up with new technology. It isn't enough to have the overkill that we have in missiles calls that used to be fine but now things are the new technology technology doesn't stop and we stop developing anything anything we're gonna fall behind not just them but the but the chinese that is exactly right <hes> and each of the nuclear arms states views the situation exactly exactly like that that it's the other guys that are racing and so therefore they have to raise they have to keep up and i think all of them are somewhat right and all of them are wrong in what you produce this dynamic where everybody is responding to the other person's moves and that means that every single nuclear. I'm i am nation. Is nine of them in the world are building new nuclear weapons. We are often running. We're not on the brink of a race. We're not in danger of race. We were in the race. If you missed the nineteen eighties these this is what it looked like this a nuclear arms race was like in the nineteen eighties slightly larger scale but it's like this now especially within the u._s. In russia who have about ninety five percent santa ball the world's nuclear weapons they each building new weapons new kinds of weapons and developing new doctrines to use those weapons okay which brings us has to the solution of that would be <hes> some kind of summit yeah if the chinese the russians and us <hes> we have just the right president for that <hes> someone with <hes> carries a lot of respect and wait around the world. I wanna ask you about in the last democratic debate. We had a little bit of a debate between elizabeth warren and and governor book montana he he wanted to keep the first strike capability yes which says that there are situations in in which the united states may want to be the first to use nuclear weapons. What are those situations. We haven't had one in seventy four years. I know that right. Well think about that for a minute. The u._s. is the first and only nato weapons. We've come close but we we've been in a lot of wars. We've lost a lot of wars. We've lost brave men and women. We've had our allies lose. We've had a efforts. We had the joint chiefs. Sometimes suggesting we nuke for example apple cuba. We had the french when they were under siege from ben fu asking us to drop nuclear weapons on the viet minh. We've had dozens of incidents like that. A president has never decided decided to use a nuclear weapon. 'cause they know that is crossing a threshold of course of course it is so i'm what i'm wondering about. Is it well first of aw secretary perry william perry right yes as written a book and in it he has opens with a false positive that the detect act from soviet union now. If this technology is coming faster which i would assume does a nuclear powered missile <unk> travel faster. No it does ballistic missiles the fastest air to fly from one continent to another about thirty minutes of that time time you have about twenty five minutes when you see it coming more and hits and of that time the president would have about seven minutes upon on notice to discuss and decide whether to launch a retaliatory fortunately because i i have my own podcast called press the button and in there we do a new segment and we time the new segment for seven minutes just to illustrate how short a time that you do that every podcast every week early warning yeah wow..

"A payroll tax cut is not on the table and economic expansion center. It's not being considered at this time. I just hours later. Payroll taxes taxes something that we think about and a lot of people would like to see that and that bird much affects the working the workers of our country and we have a lot of workers still the president insists there will not be a tax cut anytime soon. He's promised tax cuts before for the middle class ahead of last year's midterms only to abandon the idea after election day. Let's get right to cecilia vega. She's live at the briefing room tonight. Because there was a lot of news out of the white house today as you know cecilia president trump also making headlines with the new attacks tonight again congresswoman ilhan omar and retreated to leave as well the president recently of course pressured israel into trying to block the congressman from a visiting today a as you know he said this. Where's the democratic party gun. Where have they gone where they're defending these two people over the state of israel and i think any jewish people that vote for a democrat. I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty. Sloyal cecilia made media headlines. Oh david it's certainly did particularly from some of the country's largest and most prominent jewish organizations. The head of the anti-defamation nation league says that it is time to stop using jews as political footballs. He says charges of disloyalty have long been used to attack the jewish people and david tonight from the american jewish committee. They're calling these comments. Quote divisive disrespectful and unwelcome cecilia vega always good to have you thank you and the new headline tonight in the race for twenty twenty johny joe biden's wife dr jill biden and what she said about her husband even if he's not your favorite candidate that that should not be the deciding factor according to her. Here's here's mary bruce joe. Biden with a blunt appeal to voters may like another kennedy better but you have to look at who is suddenly her pitch the even if you're not with joe biden on every issue you should support him anyway. If you want to beat trump your candidate might be federal on healthcare. Then then joe is but you've got to look at who's going to win this election and maybe you have to swallow a little bit and say okay. I personally like so so better for your bottom. Line has to be half trump's in iowa today. The former vice president asked about his wife's comments she she was making the case. You should pick the person you could win because none of our issues will matter if donald trump wins that was the point. It's also the point he's making in his first. I campaign ad we have to be done and all the polls agreed joe. Biden is the strongest democrat to do the job mary any reaction tonight from the other democratic candidates well david no response directly to joe biden's comments but biden's opponents say they can beat trump too. They argued that voters. Don't have to make this choice that they can follow their our principles and still defeat the president david. Mary bruce live in washington. Thanks mary now two major developments tonight. In the jeffrey epstein case three more alleged victims today suing his estate claiming they were recruited and sexually abused and to say it happened while he was under house arrest and during work release while he was wearing an ankle bracelet. Here's lindsay davis tonight. The alleged incident took place at his office and his home while epstein was even wearing an ankle monitor he was having office visitors some who were flown to him from new york and continuing to engage in similar conduct literally while he was in quote unquote jeff. One accuser claims she was seventeen when she was first groom by epstein in new york back in two thousand seven during the same time he was under federal investigation for alleged sex sex crimes against more than thirty minor girls eight comes as we're learning new details about epstein's will sign just two days before his suicide. "What a leading historian of the air calls the longest most ranked the most debilitating week national convention ever to meet the first 'til tally had Fillmore in the lead out to get rid of a president. Welcome back Harmon here with you, congressman Mark poke and taking your tweets and comments on YouTube. Actually, we've got some YouTube questions as well. And congressman welcome back. Thank you. Thank you. Now getting questions I'm just going to have to listen to you. Because. Yeah. You're stuck with me. So pork grind ask congressman Po-Chun. What will you and the rest of the Democrats do about opposing Trumpster and proposed cuts budget cuts to Medicare and Medicaid, and I would add social security that Trump wants to cut all three. Yeah. So the residents reduced his budget on Monday and on many levels. It was ridiculous. No investment infrastructure that it keeps telling ABC's four it had deep cuts to Medicare and Medicaid and social security in obviously, there's no way we're going to accept that. What we send out of the house? So it's really a D away a dead on arrival proposal to do that. But it shows where his priorities are. And we'll see a hard Republicans fight for those priorities. Deep cuts education human services. Interior, all the different departments that affect you know, that really helped American citizens. None of those are going to happen been head cuts to the national institutes of health, which even with Republicans in control. We actually added very very modest increases to. So it a way it was kind of a ridiculous document because it's not going to be anything close to what we've asked out of the house. It's not gonna be close to what goes into law more money for the wall. He's trying to get even though we still haven't given any money for the wall. So I think people can rest assured that document is really more the president's fantasy and Republicans fantasy than any reality. Yeah. There you go. Johny Joe Johnson. It was just reported that Paul Manafort was given six six and a half years. I believe by judge Jackson, but it's can can occur at rather than consecutive. So you know, he he'll serve basically an additional three and a half years, Johnny. Joe Jackson asked so Ron YouTube Manafort was black. He'd have gotten life in prison if he was Muslim it would be the death penalty. Would you comment on that yet? You know, I'll tell you when he got his first sentencing a lot of us were very unhappy. The clerk congress we were talking to each other. Because one of our constituents did something minor. They would have gotten far more serious time. I think someone did in one state voted improperly administered if they voted twice or what it was. And they got a longer sentence than Paul Manafort for everything he did. So we do think that that was pretty seriously out of whack. I think the real test now is will Donald Trump in some way pardoned him? And if he does I think that's going to open up a serious can words. Ricardo enemy over on Twitter asks please ask congress Po-Chun who he's is supporting for the democratic presidential nomination. I'm staying out of it right now. The number of candidates, I like for different reasons. You know, Bernie Sanders we wouldn't be talking about the issues. We're talking about today. If it was Bernie Sanders Medicare for all debt free college, a number of the proposals. He's put out there. He was the first person who gave a real national voices those issues, and I have tremendous respect for that Lisbeth. Warren has been a tremendous advocate for progressive issues. I trouble once I start going down the laundry lists. I'm probably gonna stop saying names other than you know, people like better, I think is going to announce is the guy that you would want to be your neighbor or brother-in-law because I guarantee he would be plowing your snow if you live in the upper midwest before you got out to shovel. He's just a decent person. There's a lot of people who have interesting attributes coming into this presidential race. And I'm gonna week to see what issues they take up what they prioritize, but as a progressive caucus, we're gonna make sure that the issues we care about we're gonna put front and center so from climate change to Derrick. College to Medicare for all to a lot of other issues. Our job is to make sure they're all talking about those things. Yeah. And and along those lines mahogany are Jones again, my law Ghani in my apologies. If I'm angling people's names. Here says we have a lot of democratic candidates. How do we not divide ourselves among candidates and come together in our shared democrat, hashtag, I would say democratic but values and and that's a good question. You're in fact, you're the guy who informed me who taught me that we should be talking about values rather than issue. We should be calling these things values and talking about values rather than issues because issues are contained within the container the larger container of values values unite issues divided. Something Nancy Pelosi told us when we got so end she said many times that I found it to be a very profound statement because people do connect with us on the values individual bills. You can get lost details. You don't like one provision on one page of five hundred pages. And they'll talk about that one. Vision. But when you talk about everyone should have affordable access to health care period. We should be able to do some cost containment in healthcare would actually disagree with that. When you talk about the fact that England was smart enough and able enough should be able to get a higher education or registered apprenticeship, even if they can't afford to we need to be able to help with that very few people would actually disagree with that. So when we talk about those bigger values a lot better place. I would also say to that person who tweeted you're part of it is coming on us. You know, if someone doesn't agree with us and every single issue, they are not evil. And I think it's important we say that correctly. I mean, there's something I like and probably don't like about every single candidate who's running for president. And I could say that for everyone in my family for that matter to right. And I think we have to be cognizant that you know, if we do it in a more uplifting way, we can come through a big primary unscathed in be in the best position to win the White House and the Senate back and keep the house of Representative. So really it is incumbent on us again. Just because you disagree with up provision of someone doesn't mean they're evil. We need to be very careful about how we talk about other candidates. Yeah. No wages. Tree tweeted to both of us. A a an article from the Washington Post about this woman in Texas who Greg Abbott is the governor down there. I forget the name of the AG, but she got sentenced to five years in prison trend referred to voting while on parole. Yeah. And and. By the way, this is also happening in North Carolina believes, the, you know, they're aggressively going after mostly people who have felony convictions who didn't realize that they couldn't vote and went ahead and voted and they're sending them back to prison and all these kind of things, by way of basically, in my opinion, scaring people away from the polls, particularly people who might ever have been in any trouble with the law, particularly people of color who are concerned, you know, they know that they're they're crossers are already on them. The bulls eye on their back or whatever the metaphor you wanna use. And and you know, the, they're not sure I'd be jeez. I don't know if that speeding ticket qualifies, am I going to go to jail for voting after I got a speeding ticket or or you know, might may headlight was knocked out or you know, what does it take? You know, like this seems to me like voter suppression. What are your thoughts on this? Yeah. I completely agree. In fact, let me crank at one more rung up the racist ladder that this White House. Does the same is true is how ISIS going after people across this country. We know there's eleven to thirteen million undocumented people, but were. Clearly, not as a directive going after those folks were told that ice first of all is was created after nine eleven for domestic terrorism were told they're going after gang members MS thirteen traffickers and drug dealers. And we just got an open records request back from is that while they didn't answer most of our questions we have to appeal it but were percent of the people they apprehended in in Wisconsin had no offense whatsoever. And so people in others at traffic offenses ones, and you did have any events. So suddenly, you're making people like that also prayed to leave their homes, so all of this is again bent on the app Brown or black skin or you happen to maybe be from religion. That's not in the mainstream here in the United States that they're trying to demonize people in. I think it's true and voter suppression. I think it's true also in how they are working with like the abuse of how ISIS operating so as a member of congress. What do you do about that? I mean, I think it's been there incredibly stupid. I'm on the appropriation. Committee. I can affect their budget in the fact that I had to wait one hundred thirty eight days to get basically an FU freedom of information act request is when I got back from them. They gave me two hundred ninety I think eight redacted pages on four hundred and then they can answer most of my questions. But what we did find out is again, they're not going after what they say. They are this agency is being used misused by this White House in a rope fashioned to be his personal police force, and we're going to be very aggressive on. So I've already talked to the woman who's the chair of the appropriations committee that has oversight over homeland security. They're gonna pay a price. So we're going to have to make sure they operate properly. But to be that Irgun to a member of congress first, I remove information act request ever had to make isn't in congress over six years. Pretty pretty stunning. Yeah. Yeah. It really is. Douglas, Clark says Republicans won't pass anything progressive. So what's the strategy? With regard. The you've passed some really good stuff already out of the house of representatives. There's a long list of other things getting ready to be passed. But they they're going to die in the Senate. So what's the strategy here? So we'll send him to the Senate hoping get some past. I mean right now, I think are a resolution of disapproval the president's national seat. Pass. It went to the floor of the Senate. So they're trying to figure a way out of it right now to get rid of it without having to have a boat and embarrass the president. But there are probably have the votes to do just that. But we'll for like HR one. We'll break it into little pieces bended over what we're trying to do is one who can't get passed through the Senate in through this president. We're showing what will happen if you had other people in charge. So if the Democrats were in charge, we actually could clean up some of the undue influence, a special interest in Washington, we can make that everyone can be heard through other go, which is how you have a democracy. We can go after a gun violence and have some preventative efforts past weekend. Go after things like pay equity, and the minimum wage and healthcare and all the things that we need to..
